The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1723 - The Defining Moment of Trump's Presidency Has ARRIVED. The Path Forward is Obvious

00:00:00.000 From Amazon MGM Studios comes Melania. Every protocol, every precaution, every move coordinated. 0.86

00:00:06.400 This new film takes you inside the 20 days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration

00:00:11.480 through the eyes of the first lady herself. The briefings, the planning, the private conversations

00:00:16.560 witness what it takes to secure her return to one of the world's most powerful roles. Melania

00:00:20.780 only in theaters January 30th. They told you America invented slavery.

00:00:25.900 They told you the Indians were peaceful. They told you colonialism was evil and that Joseph

00:00:33.800 McCarthy was a bad guy. And guess what? They lied. For a half a century, generations of American

00:00:40.580 schoolchildren have been taught to hate our history, hate our country, and hate themselves.

00:00:45.980 It's time to set the record straight. And since no one else is going to do it, I will.

00:00:51.220 Who sold us the slaves? What were India and Africa like before Europeans arrived?

00:00:55.900 What caused white flight? Some of the most well-known stories from American history

00:01:00.220 are designed to demoralize you. Trail of tears, smallpox blanket smith, the red scare.

00:01:06.200 It's all baseless. It's time for a lesson on what they're not teaching in public schools.

00:01:11.400 On the real history of slavery, of colonialism, of the Indians, of America, and the world.

00:01:18.060 It's time for Real History with Matt Walsh.

00:01:22.260 Now streaming only on Daily Wire Plus.

00:01:26.600 Today, the Matt Walsh Show, Minneapolis continues to spiral out of control after yet another

00:01:30.220 totally justified shooting by ICE agents. I'll explain why it was justified and what Trump

00:01:34.740 must do now to save his presidency and the country. Also, Jimmy Kimmel weeps on camera yet again.

00:01:40.940 And a guy climbs a 100-story building without a rope or harness live on Netflix.

00:01:45.520 Was this spectacle unethical and morally problematic? Some say that it was.

00:01:49.400 I disagree. We'll talk about all that at more today than the Matt Walsh Show.

00:01:52.000 There is no doubt that the single most consequential week of Donald Trump's second term

00:02:21.980 to this point is now underway. The president must decide in the face of a highly coordinated

00:02:27.640 and well-funded domestic terror campaign by the enemies of civilization to choose one of two

00:02:33.220 options. He can fulfill his constitutional obligation as the leader of the executive branch

00:02:38.200 to enforce the law by continuing to deport illegal aliens and by dismantling left-wing organizations

00:02:43.740 that are laundering taxpayer money to fund a violent insurrection. Or,

00:02:47.000 in the alternative, the president can surrender. He can concede that in America, the government

00:02:52.620 does not have a monopoly on the use of force. He can revert the United States to a kind of state

00:02:58.580 of nature. He can suspend immigration enforcement in Minneapolis. He can give the fraudulent NGOs and

00:03:04.340 the fake legal observers a free pass after weeks of harassing and assaulting federal agents,

00:03:10.120 in addition to private citizens who happen to look like federal agents. And in turn, if he chooses that

00:03:15.340 path, the president will guarantee more violence and lawlessness than this country has ever seen in

00:03:20.920 recent history. And it will be, for all intents and purposes, the end of his presidency, not to mention

00:03:27.120 the country. Now, in a moment, we'll talk in some detail about the shooting of Alex Priddy and how he ended

00:03:33.260 up dying in front of yet another cultural leering center for foreigners in Minneapolis, which appears to have 0.85

00:03:39.700 at least one fraudulent business on like every block. But first, I want you to look at this photo right

00:03:46.160 here. It was taken in May of 1970. This is just days after National Guardsmen opened fire on

00:03:53.500 demonstrators at Kent State University during a Vietnam War protest, killing several students. The

00:03:59.440 guardsmen said that their lives were in danger. And of course, the mob, which has been had been

00:04:04.660 pelting the guardsmen with rocks, disagreed. The photo shows a line of transit buses parked bumper

00:04:10.980 to bumper around the White House, totally encircling the building. Nixon's advisors and the Secret

00:04:16.220 Service decided that because of the Kent State shooting and the resulting outrage, there was a real

00:04:21.560 chance that the White House would soon be overrun by left-wing agitators. So they placed buses all

00:04:27.240 around the White House to block the rioters and station the 82nd Airborne next door to the White House

00:04:32.420 in case the mob breached the perimeter. And meanwhile, all over the country, there was a

00:04:36.800 massive student strike, the largest in U.S. history, to protest the shooting. Now, at the time, polls

00:04:43.160 showed that most Americans supported the National Guard and didn't agree with the left's narrative about

00:04:48.440 Kent State. But the mob still loomed very large in Washington. They made the president feel unsafe in

00:04:54.380 the single most secure building in the entire world. But Nixon didn't back down. He didn't apologize.

00:04:59.620 In fact, according to the White House tapes, Nixon said, quote, you know what stops them? 0.99

00:05:04.040 Kill a few. Didn't it have one hell of an effect? The Kent State thing? Well, here's what happened next. 0.94

00:05:11.180 Nixon won re-election in a landslide. He took 49 states. He won a larger share of the popular vote

00:05:17.620 than any Republican in history. Now, fast forward to the summer of 2020. Instead of encircling the White

00:05:24.300 House with transit buses, the Secret Service rushed Donald Trump to an underground bunker

00:05:29.480 as mobs of BLM rioters torched the area and assaulted police officers. Now, the Trump administration

00:05:36.340 went easy on these rioters. That's an objective fact. Nobody was arrested for torching the church

00:05:44.140 directly across from the White House. Let me say that again. Nobody was arrested for lighting St.

00:05:51.760 John's church on fire. Nobody. There was no January 6th-style dragnet. There was no dragnet at all.

00:06:01.880 Meanwhile, the DOJ dropped most of the charges against Antifa radicals who were attacking

00:06:05.680 federal courthouses every single night, as you remember. Something like 90% of the terrorists

00:06:12.360 who besieged the courthouse in Portland had their cases dropped. The result? Well, Joe Biden became

00:06:18.940 president. He began a four-year campaign to eliminate the civil liberties of conservatives

00:06:23.920 at scale, starting with people who refused the experimental COVID shot, along with peaceful

00:06:29.720 political demonstrators and pro-life activists. He also oversaw an unprecedented effort to imprison,

00:06:35.600 if not assassinate, his leading political opponent. Now, there was very good reason to believe,

00:06:41.520 after all this recent history, that the second Trump administration would adopt Nixon's approach

00:06:47.160 in face of left-wing agitators and criminals. Don't give them what they want. Don't cower in the face of

00:06:55.320 their violence and threats. Continue to enforce the law without apology. Because without laws,

00:07:02.420 we don't have a country. And if some leftists get themselves killed on purpose, we shouldn't change a

00:07:08.940 single thing. That's the approach voters want to see. And more importantly, it's the approach that will

00:07:15.640 prevent the U.S. from descending into anarchy, which is what is at stake right now. Now, as of today,

00:07:22.480 though, there are many signs that the new Trump administration is potentially planning to repeat

00:07:28.900 the first Trump administration's performance during the BLM riots. Greg Bovino, the Border Patrol chief,

00:07:35.060 who's a regular fixture on the front lines of deportation raids, even though he knows leftists want

00:07:40.300 to kill him, is reportedly being ordered to leave Minneapolis. Effectively, he's being fired,

00:07:45.820 according to various reports, including a story in The Atlantic and reporting from the independent

00:07:50.400 journalist Nick Sorter. Now, the DOJ immediately disputed those reports. And late last night, Sorter

00:07:56.480 offered an update. He stated that Donald Trump didn't give this order to remove Bovino. He wrote,

00:08:02.540 I can confirm President Trump was not aware of the prior decision to remove Greg Bovino from his role

00:08:09.120 as commander op at large of the U.S. Border Patrol, nor was Secretary Noem. Trump and Noem fully back

00:08:16.000 Mr. Bovino. And someone down the food chain, as we'll say, will have a rough week. Now, whether that's

00:08:23.860 true or not, could be true. It could be a cover story after the administration saw the backlash on

00:08:28.920 social media, doesn't really matter. This is a major blunder from a PR standpoint and a strategic

00:08:36.540 standpoint, and the administration cannot allow anything like that to happen again. And Bovino

00:08:42.600 needs to remain in full command in Minneapolis. As if to emphasize the point, the reports that Bovino

00:08:48.740 was being fired were immediately celebrated by Open Borders Marxists and their leaders in the

00:08:53.740 Democrat Party. Gavin Newsom, for example, posted this message, quote, Gestapo Gregg is out. Keep the

00:09:00.600 pressure up. It's working. Now, it goes without saying that if any decision by this administration

00:09:07.200 produces that kind of response from Gavin Newsom, then it was the wrong decision, period. There doesn't

00:09:15.360 really need to be any more discussion. Any policy decision that emboldens an anti-American fraudster

00:09:21.800 and degenerate like Gavin Newsom and that encourages domestic terrorists in the Democrat Party should

00:09:27.240 be reversed immediately. Just in case there's any doubt on that point, let's talk about why Greg Bovino

00:09:35.260 was reportedly demoted. Let's discuss the incident that has led many self-described conservatives even

00:09:41.100 to decide that actually the rule of law should be suspended in Minneapolis. Well, on Saturday morning,

00:09:48.480 according to reporting from the investigative journalist Azra Nomani, a member of the Rapid

00:09:53.120 Response Anti-Ice Signal Chats in Minneapolis, the same chats that we infiltrated a week ago and we

00:09:59.300 talked about that are connected to NGOs that receive taxpayer money. Well, these chats called for agitators

00:10:05.460 to rush to Glam Doll Donuts on Nicollet Avenue. The individual posted a video of federal agents attempting to

00:10:12.460 enter the donut shop. And then at 8.53 a.m. local time, another member of the Signal group wrote,

00:10:19.340 quote, backup needed at the Black Forest Inn parking lot on Nicollet Avenue, just south of 26th Street.

00:10:25.140 Multiple vehicles with many agents appear to be staging there. The alert continued, one confirmed

00:10:31.280 ICE vehicle seen was a maroon Dodge Durango with the plate number, but it has driven away northbound on

00:10:38.120 Nicollet. Now, within 15 minutes, 37-year-old Alex Priddy arrived on the scene and here's what

00:10:46.560 happened next.

00:10:51.440 Go! 0.99

00:10:52.000 What the f***? What the f*** is wrong with you? 1.00

00:11:06.320 Honestly! 0.99

00:11:28.040 Alex Purdy stands in the middle of the street.

00:11:43.460 He starts directing traffic through the road without any kind of authorization whatsoever.

00:11:49.360 He has no authority to do anything that he's doing.

00:11:52.120 And along with a woman, he stands in the middle of the street unlawfully

00:11:55.460 as Border Patrol agents try to clear the roadway.

00:11:59.580 Then a Border Patrol agent pushes the woman away. 0.88

00:12:01.820 At that point, Alex Purdy commits several serious felonies.

00:12:05.200 He runs directly into the path of the Border Patrol agent

00:12:07.480 and physically tries to separate the agent from the woman.

00:12:12.260 Here's the freeze frame showing the precise moment that Purdy does exactly what leftists train their agitators to do.

00:12:18.060 They call it de-arresting somebody, which is not legal.

00:12:23.000 Well, there's no plausible argument at this point that Purdy is a mere legal observer or a peaceful protester.

00:12:31.500 He is a criminal who appears to believe that he has lawful authority to override what the police are doing, but he doesn't.

00:12:41.240 In addition to obstruction, this behavior constitutes assault on a federal agent.

00:12:44.660 And Purdy is committing these felonies while carrying a firearm, which makes the crime even more dangerous.

00:12:53.460 And we're talking about more than a decade in prison easily.

00:12:57.640 After Purdy makes this decision, an officer pepper sprays him and several other officers try to take him down.

00:13:04.060 Now he clearly resists arrest and appears to assault the woman,

00:13:07.900 probably because he's under the influence of the tear gas, can't see exactly what he's doing.

00:13:11.280 Whatever the case, Purdy is now committing even more federal crimes.

00:13:17.240 And the fact that he's armed the whole time does make a difference.

00:13:20.120 This is not a Second Amendment thing.

00:13:23.220 Yeah, you have the right to carry.

00:13:26.020 But if you take a weapon and then go out and commit crimes while carrying it,

00:13:31.260 well, that's a different matter.

00:13:34.300 You have the right to carry a weapon.

00:13:35.640 You don't have the right to carry a weapon and commit crimes.

00:13:43.600 Now, as officers attempt to arrest Purdy, one agent appears to take a firearm from Purdy's holster in order to secure it.

00:13:51.120 Within seconds, somebody shouts, gun.

00:13:53.120 One shot rings out, possibly from an accidental discharge of Purdy's gun, although we don't know.

00:13:57.620 And then there are many more shots, all of them coming from Border Patrol.

00:14:00.480 Purdy is killed, and an officer wonders aloud where the gun is before realizing that Purdy had already been disarmed.

00:14:08.160 Without knowing all the facts about which gun was fired, and investigations obviously underway,

00:14:12.400 we can still come to some basic conclusions.

00:14:15.420 The first conclusion is that Alex Purdy was part of an organized campaign

00:14:19.020 to legally obstruct law enforcement operations on behalf of open borders communists

00:14:24.000 who want to destroy the country.

00:14:26.020 He was a domestic terrorist dressed in the same color scheme as Border Patrol agents

00:14:32.080 who did exactly what he set out to do.

00:14:34.940 He blocked federal agents from carrying out the will of the voters

00:14:37.980 and from performing the job they are obligated to do and have the authority to do.

00:14:44.980 The second conclusion we can draw is that the officers were legally justified in shooting Alex Purdy.

00:14:52.280 Period.

00:14:52.840 And that's because they clearly believed that he was either shooting at them

00:14:57.460 or was about to shoot at them.

00:15:00.100 And that belief was objectively reasonable, whether or not Purdy was indeed armed at the moment

00:15:04.380 that he was shot or not.

00:15:06.400 If it's true that his gun was accidentally discharged after an agent disarmed him,

00:15:12.240 making the other officers believe that they were under fire,

00:15:15.020 then those officers were entitled to use lethal force against him.

00:15:18.720 Under the law, the relevant question is not whether Purdy was actually a lethal threat to the officers.

00:15:24.840 The relevant question is whether the officers believed he was a lethal threat to them

00:15:29.980 and whether that belief was objectively reasonable given the information the officers had at that moment.

00:15:36.660 They had a split second to respond to a gunshot that they believed came from Purdy,

00:15:40.800 whose holster was empty.

00:15:42.060 And they weren't aware that he had been fully disarmed at that point.

00:15:48.440 Now, you might say, well, it's the agent's job to communicate the fact that he had been disarmed.

00:15:52.840 But the problem is that we're talking about a chaotic situation that unfolded in a matter of seconds

00:15:58.100 that Alex Purdy instigated with people screaming and blowing whistles and everything else

00:16:04.900 in a mayhem that's been deliberately orchestrated by leftists to cause maximum confusion for law enforcement.

00:16:13.580 They're out in the street trying to confuse everything and obstruct and sabotage

00:16:18.560 and make everything more difficult and chaotic.

00:16:21.360 They're doing this on purpose.

00:16:22.900 That's the point.

00:16:25.680 And so if in the chaos one of these people gets killed, guess whose fault it is?

00:16:31.040 You go out onto the street with the express purpose of interfering with law enforcement

00:16:35.760 and making things confusing and chaotic.

00:16:39.160 If in the confusion and chaos you get killed, that's your fault.

00:16:43.520 It's your fault. 0.98

00:16:44.580 It's not only your fault, but you deserve it.

00:16:46.540 Okay?

00:16:47.060 You deserved it.

00:16:50.440 You quite literally had it coming.

00:16:52.420 You created all of the conditions for this thing to happen.

00:16:56.000 Whose fault could it possibly be?

00:16:58.420 But yours.

00:17:01.040 And for anyone who says, well, it's too far to say he deserved it.

00:17:04.300 What?

00:17:05.140 You go out into the street, you're interfering with law enforcement.

00:17:08.100 You're making things chaotic and crazy.

00:17:10.160 You end up getting shot.

00:17:12.060 That's just a direct result of your own actions.

00:17:16.560 We all deserve the direct result of our own actions. 0.93

00:17:22.600 You jump off a building, you deserve to fall and hit the pavement.

00:17:27.640 I wish you hadn't done that. 0.69

00:17:29.080 I'm not happy to see it happen.

00:17:32.020 Okay?

00:17:32.160 I'm sorry for your family.

00:17:35.360 But it doesn't make any sense to see a guy willingly jump from the top of a building

00:17:38.820 and then as soon as he hits the pavement to say, well, he didn't deserve to hit the pavement.

00:17:43.160 Like, what do you mean?

00:17:43.740 What did he?

00:17:45.340 Did he deserve for the law of gravity to be suspended to save him?

00:17:49.380 No, we all deserve the direct consequences of our actions, negative or positive.

00:17:59.340 And also, by the way, even the agent who took Pretty's gun didn't know that he had been fully disarmed.

00:18:04.120 He might have more than one gun.

00:18:06.680 Certainly had more than one magazine.

00:18:08.100 And this is the reason why we have laws against obstructing federal officers

00:18:15.980 and laws against carrying guns while you're committing felonies

00:18:19.000 and laws against blocking traffic

00:18:22.540 and laws against resisting arrest.

00:18:26.420 The more felonies you commit, the more you raise the risk of losing your life or killing someone else.

00:18:31.660 The more that people upend the rule of law

00:18:35.160 and start acting like they can do whatever they want,

00:18:38.300 the more likely it becomes that people will die in preventable, inadvertent ways.

00:18:43.920 The point of law is to maintain order.

00:18:47.460 Without law, you have chaos.

00:18:50.560 And in chaotic situations, people die.

00:18:55.840 And it's the people who are attempting to undermine the rule of law,

00:18:58.940 people like Alex Pretty, who are to blame.

00:19:02.380 It is not the fault of the people trying to reestablish and enforce the law.

00:19:09.540 With that in mind, here's a video that should have received far more attention than it has.

00:19:13.140 It depicts an independent journalist named Haley West

00:19:15.540 being chased around the streets of Minneapolis by a mob of leftists pretending to be police officers

00:19:21.260 and even demand to see her papers.

00:19:24.380 Watch.

00:19:31.660 Yeah, they've been following us for over an hour.

00:19:35.940 We're not ICE.

00:19:39.540 We're just letting them know and they...

00:19:43.060 Not ICE!

00:19:43.460 Not in an ICE vehicle, right?

00:19:45.080 No.

00:19:45.300 Right.

00:19:45.700 Right. 0.99

00:19:46.080 Get in your truck and get the f*** out. 0.99

00:19:47.500 Why? 0.99

00:19:48.160 Because you need to go.

00:19:49.340 Confirmed ICE. 0.99

00:19:50.040 Get the f*** out. 0.99

00:19:50.540 Why? 0.99

00:19:50.980 Confirmed ICE through who?

00:19:52.120 We're American citizens.

00:19:53.440 We're not ICE.

00:19:54.440 Give me the people that you're abducting.

00:19:55.740 Get out.

00:19:56.180 Why are you filming us?

00:19:57.060 Please go.

00:19:57.840 Because they've been following us for over an hour.

00:20:01.460 We didn't even know they were following us until they came up and said,

00:20:03.520 you've been following you.

00:20:04.480 What are you doing right here?

00:20:05.480 Where do you live?

00:20:06.660 Where are you from?

00:20:07.500 I'm from the water.

00:20:08.620 There's protests.

00:20:09.840 Public property.

00:20:10.780 What are you recording?

00:20:11.680 Let me see your idea.

00:20:12.980 Hold down.

00:20:13.720 Did you come in that car right there?

00:20:15.240 Yeah, this truck.

00:20:16.460 And they're saying we're popping up in an ICE database.

00:20:19.300 Well, then you're in it.

00:20:20.120 We're not.

00:20:21.040 It's the database. 0.97

00:20:22.040 Get the f*** out of here, though. 0.98

00:20:23.060 Do we look like ICE still? 0.98

00:20:24.140 No ICE.

00:20:25.040 Nothing on me.

00:20:25.900 Prove it.

00:20:26.200 We're not ICE.

00:20:26.940 I don't have no weapons.

00:20:27.880 Let me see your IDs of where you live.

00:20:30.400 No, they've been following us.

00:20:31.620 That's why we got out and confronted them.

00:20:33.440 Great.

00:20:34.480 You think that's okay?

00:20:35.760 Yeah, 100%.

00:20:36.640 Okay.

00:20:38.060 I'm curious about...

00:20:39.000 You mess with our neighborhood?

00:20:39.620 Yes.

00:20:40.120 100%.

00:20:40.600 Yeah!

00:20:41.800 Now, this video is infinitely more important than any of the footage of the communist nurse

00:20:46.340 committing 10 different felonies before being shot to death.

00:20:49.300 And that's because, unlike the communist nurse, the nurse, the woman didn't do anything wrong. 0.98

00:20:55.400 It may as well have been a scene from Somalia.

00:20:58.720 I mean, drive around any dysfunctional African country, and there's a good chance you'll get stopped 1.00

00:21:02.240 by criminals who will shake you down.

00:21:04.720 They'll act like law enforcement without any legal authority whatsoever.

00:21:08.380 This is a defining characteristic of the third world. 1.00

00:21:11.360 The state does not have a monopoly on violence.

00:21:13.440 The mob can harass you at will.

00:21:16.020 They can demand to see your identification.

00:21:17.800 They can berate you and run you off the road.

00:21:22.120 And nobody will do anything about it.

00:21:25.680 When an American city falls like this, the executive branch must take immediate action

00:21:31.540 to restore order.

00:21:32.600 But as far as I can tell, nobody in the administration is even talking about this footage, or the footage

00:21:37.820 from the hotel in Minneapolis on Sunday night, where a loaned federal agent tried to hold off

00:21:42.660 a mob that ransacked the hotel.

00:21:47.660 Somehow, none of this registers so far with the White House.

00:21:50.920 Instead, the administration appears to be paying attention to podcasters and the Wall Street Journal

00:21:57.360 editorial board.

00:21:58.240 And speaking of which, let's start with the podcaster, Dave Smith, who calls himself a

00:22:05.360 comedian, not because he tells jokes, but because comedians have plausible deniability 0.99

00:22:09.980 when they say incredibly stupid things, which he does all the time. 0.99

00:22:14.720 You call yourself a comedian, then you can say whatever you want and just say, I was joking, 1.00

00:22:18.200 man.

00:22:19.040 I'm just telling jokes here.

00:22:21.760 So with that in mind, here's Dave Smith's latest insight.

00:22:24.640 Quote, I'm an immigration restrictionist.

00:22:28.880 I believe that we have the right to remove any and all people who entered our country 1.00

00:22:31.940 illegally.

00:22:33.260 Also, ICE is out in control.

00:22:35.960 A bunch of people who are drunk on power going around intentionally escalating violent

00:22:39.300 interactions and intimidating U.S. citizens.

00:22:42.420 They create these tragic situations.

00:22:44.620 And after this gigantic show of force, they won't deport a fraction of the illegals who entered 0.98

00:22:48.840 under Biden.

00:22:49.660 This is simply not worth it.

00:22:51.260 So he's in favor of restricting immigration and deporting illegal aliens, he says.

00:22:59.000 But he's not in favor of the people who are actually doing that.

00:23:04.180 Like you need people to actually go do that, Dave.

00:23:08.360 And that's not always going to be pretty.

00:23:10.800 Because you know something, Dave, the people that are here illegally, you know, the people 1.00

00:23:15.160 you don't like because they're an immigration restrictionist, they don't want to leave.

00:23:19.160 And so you have to physically take them and drag them while they kick and scream and cry.

00:23:27.180 That's the only, you want to restrict immigration?

00:23:29.820 That is literally the only way to do it, Dave.

00:23:33.400 And they don't do that because they're drunk on power or creating dangerous situations.

00:23:38.560 This is a total inversion of reality, as documented by literally every video coming from Minneapolis.

00:23:47.240 Have you seen any of them?

00:23:51.000 ICE is creating a...

00:23:52.640 What the hell are you talking about?

00:23:55.700 Left-wing communist agitators are in the street deliberately coordinating with the express, 0.96

00:24:04.200 explicit intent of sabotaging law enforcement and creating chaos.

00:24:11.420 Do you think they're blocking the road and blowing in whistles and trying to de-arrest people

00:24:17.260 because they want to de-escalate?

00:24:20.420 Do you block the road illegally and start blowing on your whistle because you want to de-escalate a situation?

00:24:26.860 Is that how you de-escalate?

00:24:28.280 They are deliberately creating dangerous situations and escalating interactions by preventing ICE from doing their jobs.

00:24:39.040 As we discussed before, there were no problems with ICE raids during the Obama administration.

00:24:45.800 And as you may have noticed, all of this ICE-related drama is coming out of Minneapolis lately.

00:24:52.040 That's where the shootings are.

00:24:53.320 It's also where the George Floyd hoax originated.

00:24:55.360 It's almost as if Minneapolis is a hotbed of anti-American terrorism,

00:25:01.040 where they learned long ago that self-described conservatives will fold under the slightest bit of pressure,

00:25:06.800 like you're doing right now.

00:25:09.020 It's almost as if they learned how to manufacture hoaxes in order to achieve their goals,

00:25:13.300 and no one's ever called them out on it.

00:25:17.740 So that, to restate Dave Smith's post another way, as I did on X,

00:25:23.220 and he's not the only one, okay?

00:25:25.360 There are a lot of conservatives who are taking this position.

00:25:31.340 And basically what they're saying is, you know, this ICE situation is really complex,

00:25:36.640 and so we should have a more nuanced take.

00:25:40.220 I want our immigration laws to be enforced, but I just want them to do it without using any force,

00:25:45.680 or without anyone ever getting hurt,

00:25:47.880 or without anyone getting sad,

00:25:50.500 or without anything upsetting happening ever.

00:25:53.280 And if the people we're trying to deport don't want to be deported,

00:25:57.060 or if liberal activists don't want us to deport them,

00:26:00.500 then obviously in that case we shouldn't do it.

00:26:04.120 But I'm totally a conservative on this issue.

00:26:06.800 Unless people get really mad at me, then never mind.

00:26:09.480 Please don't yell. I'm sorry.

00:26:12.600 Now, when I responded to Dave Smith's post by pointing out very specifically why it was so retarded, 1.00

00:26:16.920 he came back with this response, which was extremely painfully predictable.

00:26:24.060 Quote,

00:26:24.540 Oh, now the Israeli wire guy addresses me?

00:26:28.340 It's always when they think I'm on the wrong side of a popular right-wing issue.

00:26:32.320 Come have a conversation. We'll see who gets embarrassed.

00:26:35.260 Check with your boss to see if you're allowed.

00:26:38.600 Ah, yes, Israel. 0.80

00:26:39.620 Who could have guessed that Dave Smith would bring up Israel in his response?

00:26:46.120 An issue that has absolutely nothing to do with Israel whatsoever.

00:26:51.800 Who could have guessed that he'd find a way to wedge that in?

00:26:57.080 You know, 90s kids are familiar with the game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon,

00:27:00.840 where you take any actor and connect him to another actor that they starred in a film with,

00:27:05.740 and then connect that actor to another one until you get to Kevin Bacon.

00:27:09.460 And the point of the game is that it should only take about six connections or six degrees or fewer

00:27:14.100 until you get to Kevin Bacon because he's been in a lot of movies.

00:27:17.520 Well, guys like Dave play the same game, except it's six degrees of Israel. 0.55

00:27:23.600 And it's not really six. It's actually one degree of Israel. 0.80

00:27:25.820 Any issue will be connected, not through six moves, but just by one move directly to Israel.

00:27:33.160 I also love how indignant he is that only now do you address me,

00:27:41.140 a theme he has returned to several times when responding to me.

00:27:45.020 Now you're addressing me while also not actually responding to my points.

00:27:50.460 So he's doing the whole, hey, come on, man, debate me, bro. Debate me.

00:27:54.220 It's like, dude, just rather than explaining why you're not addressing my points,

00:27:59.600 just address them like we're talking right now.

00:28:01.300 Just write them out. Just explain. Just explain.

00:28:06.200 We don't need to talk for three hours.

00:28:08.660 Just explain how it's the fault of ICE that communist agitators

00:28:14.860 are explicitly, deliberately creating all this chaos in the street.

00:28:20.260 So they're out there in the street creating all this chaos.

00:28:22.820 You're blaming that on ICE and calling them.

00:28:24.620 Even though they're the ones out there who are enforcing these immigration laws,

00:28:30.400 doing the most thankless job of all thankless jobs.

00:28:34.520 And you are defaming them and insulting them from the comfort of your own home.

00:28:40.880 So just explain that.

00:28:42.280 You could just explain it.

00:28:48.660 But he's upset that I haven't addressed him until now.

00:28:52.400 He really sees himself as this figure of great consequence

00:28:56.540 who the rest of us are obligated to address.

00:28:58.920 The fact that I haven't addressed him until now is an insult.

00:29:01.340 But, you know, his entire public career consists of talking about Israel.

00:29:07.740 Like, I like to focus on my own country,

00:29:09.960 which makes his commentary to me almost always irrelevant

00:29:13.360 and incredibly boring and redundant.

00:29:16.820 Why am I addressing you now?

00:29:18.200 It's because, like, well, like,

00:29:20.180 for once you're actually talking about something in America

00:29:23.120 and you happen to be totally wrong.

00:29:25.040 Because when he isn't talking about Israel

00:29:28.700 for those brief moments when they arise,

00:29:30.880 he reveals himself to be a standard issue.

00:29:34.100 I mean, that's what he is.

00:29:36.380 That's what a lot of these so-called based right-wing conservatives are.

00:29:39.560 When it comes down to it,

00:29:40.760 take Israel out of it. 0.99

00:29:43.120 Everything else, they're just...

00:29:44.740 Anything that Islam says is what they say. 1.00

00:29:49.180 Now, to be fair to Dave Smith,

00:29:50.680 there are a lot of self-described conservatives

00:29:52.280 who are caving in exactly the same way.

00:29:55.920 Here's Jonah Goldberg, for example.

00:29:57.780 This is his response

00:29:58.780 when asked why activists are accusing Border Patrol of wrongdoing.

00:30:03.980 Quote,

00:30:04.560 Because after watching the video,

00:30:05.840 people saw they shot him only after disarming him

00:30:08.000 because he was directing traffic

00:30:09.440 until the agent shoved a woman to the ground 0.98

00:30:11.120 and went over to assist

00:30:12.560 because he never drew the weapon

00:30:14.340 and it's not illegal to legally carry a gun.

00:30:19.740 So Goldberg states that Pretty was assisting the woman.

00:30:22.680 Even though the video shows

00:30:25.380 that Pretty clearly moved in front of the officer

00:30:27.120 to prevent him from arresting the woman.

00:30:30.480 Hey, Jonah, you can't do that.

00:30:32.340 If police are arresting someone,

00:30:34.420 you can't...

00:30:34.740 Well, I'm just assisting them.

00:30:36.100 No, you can't.

00:30:36.840 That's called obstructing.

00:30:38.000 Okay?

00:30:39.020 What do you mean, just assisting?

00:30:42.180 Assisting her what, Jonah?

00:30:43.680 What was he assisting her in doing?

00:30:45.560 He was trying to assist her

00:30:47.940 in getting away from the officers.

00:30:50.980 You can't do that, Jonah.

00:30:53.100 That's not legal.

00:30:57.580 And he made contact with the officer in the process.

00:31:01.360 We're just supposed to assume

00:31:02.880 that he was lending a helping hand

00:31:04.420 to a damsel in distress.

00:31:08.840 And then there's the claim

00:31:09.800 that Pretty was directing traffic. 1.00

00:31:11.580 What do you mean he's directing traffic, Jonah?

00:31:13.700 He's not...

00:31:14.060 You can't just get into the middle of the road

00:31:16.240 and direct traffic.

00:31:18.180 Did you know that?

00:31:19.580 Jonah, you know you can't do that?

00:31:21.300 You can't just like,

00:31:22.420 I'm just directing traffic.

00:31:23.920 Put on your crossing guard uniform.

00:31:26.260 You know, put on the white...

00:31:27.400 Put on the yellow vest.

00:31:32.280 You can't do that.

00:31:34.720 Like, a police officer can direct traffic,

00:31:36.900 but if you go into the middle of the road

00:31:38.280 and start directing traffic,

00:31:39.700 you are obstructing traffic.

00:31:41.340 You're committing a crime.

00:31:44.000 Did Border Patrol authorize Pretty

00:31:45.960 to stand in the middle of the road

00:31:47.160 and direct traffic?

00:31:49.940 Directly through a scene

00:31:51.180 they were trying to control?

00:31:54.600 To Jonah Goldberg, that's not a crime.

00:31:56.360 It's the most normal thing in the world.

00:31:58.660 Who among us?

00:31:59.580 Who among us

00:32:00.360 doesn't rush towards federal agents

00:32:01.940 at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning

00:32:03.340 in order to direct traffic

00:32:04.900 while armed with a handgun

00:32:06.280 and two spare magazines?

00:32:08.320 Now, for their part,

00:32:11.780 the Wall Street Journal editorial board

00:32:13.220 along with the New York Post,

00:32:14.660 they weren't any better.

00:32:15.760 Here's the journal's take.

00:32:19.320 And by the way,

00:32:20.400 notice how all these people

00:32:21.440 who would pretend to

00:32:22.720 greatly disagree,

00:32:25.060 you know, Dave Smith,

00:32:26.020 Jonah Goldberg,

00:32:26.780 they all agree on this.

00:32:29.520 They all agree that,

00:32:30.640 ICE, this is too far.

00:32:32.160 This is too...

00:32:32.960 You know, I'm in favor

00:32:34.360 of immigration restriction,

00:32:35.440 but this is...

00:32:36.340 But not like this.

00:32:39.180 It's funny how they all agree.

00:32:44.800 Dave Smith really...

00:32:45.880 He lines up with the dreaded Zionists 1.00

00:32:47.900 quite a bit on most issues.

00:32:49.900 That's interesting, isn't it?

00:32:51.620 Hmm.

00:32:53.220 Hmm.

00:32:54.580 Anyway, Wall Street Journal says,

00:32:55.720 quote,

00:32:55.980 the Trump administration's spin

00:32:57.480 on this simply isn't believable.

00:32:58.880 Stephen Miller,

00:32:59.480 the political architect

00:33:00.240 of the mass deportation policy,

00:33:01.900 called pretty a domestic terrorist.

00:33:03.860 He was a nurse

00:33:04.480 without a criminal record.

00:33:05.700 He was carrying his phone.

00:33:07.460 To hear the ardent

00:33:08.140 gun rights advocates

00:33:09.260 of the Trump administration

00:33:10.100 claim he had malicious intentions

00:33:11.460 because he carried

00:33:12.140 a concealed weapon is bizarre.

00:33:13.560 Pretty made a tragic mistake 1.00

00:33:15.000 by interfering with ICE agents,

00:33:16.660 but that warranted arrest,

00:33:17.900 not a death sentence.

00:33:19.860 Trump would be wise

00:33:20.660 to pause ICE enforcement

00:33:21.680 in the Twin Cities

00:33:22.500 to ease tensions

00:33:23.300 and consider a less

00:33:24.160 provocative strategy.

00:33:25.860 Yes, many on the left

00:33:26.700 would conclude

00:33:27.260 that their civil disobedience

00:33:28.420 had paid off,

00:33:29.100 but Mr. Trump

00:33:29.640 can still pursue enforcement

00:33:31.080 with a smaller force

00:33:32.060 and a strategy aimed at criminals,

00:33:34.020 not at hotel maids

00:33:35.620 and gardeners.

00:33:38.380 Now, to be clear,

00:33:39.200 the reason we're calling

00:33:39.960 Pretty a domestic terrorist

00:33:41.220 is that he was

00:33:42.540 a domestic terrorist.

00:33:44.300 He was part of an organized

00:33:45.840 group of activists

00:33:47.020 who explicitly intend

00:33:49.240 to violently interfere

00:33:51.040 with federal law enforcement

00:33:52.300 in order to affect

00:33:53.120 national policy.

00:33:55.760 We showed you

00:33:56.520 one of their handbooks

00:33:57.260 last week.

00:33:57.960 They regularly call 911

00:34:01.000 and claim that ICE

00:34:01.860 is kidnapping them

00:34:02.780 in order to provoke

00:34:03.420 the Minneapolis Police Department

00:34:04.580 to shoot ICE agents.

00:34:07.120 They relay license plate numbers

00:34:09.140 to one another

00:34:09.960 so they can stalk

00:34:12.240 and harass innocent people

00:34:13.440 through the streets,

00:34:14.400 including law enforcement officers.

00:34:17.460 They try to de-arrest people

00:34:19.420 by physically surrounding

00:34:20.500 ICE agents.

00:34:21.620 All of that is illegal,

00:34:23.220 and it's what we're seeing

00:34:23.940 in Minneapolis.

00:34:24.720 There is no debate about it.

00:34:26.020 We have the signal chats.

00:34:27.100 It's all on video.

00:34:30.600 Just the other day,

00:34:31.600 the independent journalist

00:34:32.400 Cam Higby posted this video

00:34:33.880 as he was driving

00:34:34.600 through the streets

00:34:35.140 of Minneapolis.

00:34:36.440 He also infiltrated

00:34:37.260 the anti-ICE signal chats

00:34:38.660 as well and joined

00:34:39.900 one of their dispatch calls.

00:34:41.980 In real time,

00:34:43.000 as he was being followed 0.97

00:34:43.800 by these lunatics, 0.99

00:34:44.620 he was listening 0.98

00:34:45.140 to their scanner traffic

00:34:46.500 as they relayed his location

00:34:48.060 to other domestic terrorists.

00:34:49.960 Watch.

00:34:57.460 on the back.

00:34:57.960 We're on Irving and Lake Street

00:34:59.580 going north on Irving.

00:35:03.700 We seem to be

00:35:04.580 the only commuters following.

00:35:07.100 Just wanted to give

00:35:07.920 an update on our location.

00:35:09.980 Thank you.

00:35:10.620 Do you have anyone

00:35:11.140 in the car with you?

00:35:12.700 Yes, I do.

00:35:14.120 Lovely.

00:35:14.840 Thank you.

00:35:15.180 And we are getting

00:35:16.200 a photo sent

00:35:16.860 to the chat

00:35:17.540 for confirmation.

00:35:20.460 Isn't this crazy?

00:35:22.340 This is John 612

00:35:27.800 that we are at Grand

00:35:29.660 and Lake.

00:35:30.560 We're heading

00:35:31.000 toward Irving.

00:35:32.240 We can try and join you.

00:35:35.300 This is not

00:35:36.240 how a protest movement

00:35:37.760 operates, okay?

00:35:38.820 This is not...

00:35:39.940 This isn't how Republicans

00:35:41.100 acted on January 6th

00:35:42.520 either.

00:35:42.760 This is not

00:35:44.140 a one-off event.

00:35:45.700 This is not

00:35:46.380 a ragtag group

00:35:47.400 of unaffiliated demonstrators.

00:35:48.820 This is a highly

00:35:49.700 coordinated campaign

00:35:51.300 which, as we discussed

00:35:53.080 a couple of weeks ago

00:35:53.980 when we first infiltrated

00:35:54.900 these signal chats,

00:35:55.780 is funded via NGOs

00:35:57.180 and Minnesota taxpayers.

00:35:59.540 And the point

00:36:00.380 of the campaign

00:36:00.960 is to interfere

00:36:02.080 with the civil liberties

00:36:03.740 of American citizens

00:36:04.820 and with the enforcement

00:36:06.200 of immigration law.

00:36:08.940 That is terrorism.

00:36:10.060 The Wall Street Journal

00:36:12.460 knows that.

00:36:14.340 And he knows that

00:36:15.160 they know that

00:36:15.780 if Trump relents

00:36:17.140 and pulls ICE back

00:36:18.200 then there will be

00:36:20.000 even more terrorism.

00:36:21.200 They actually admit that

00:36:22.180 in their editorial.

00:36:23.720 What the journal

00:36:24.520 won't admit

00:36:25.220 is that in the end

00:36:26.220 they want

00:36:27.120 that terrorism

00:36:28.560 to take place.

00:36:29.280 They see it as a way

00:36:30.020 to weaken

00:36:30.460 and ultimately

00:36:30.920 get rid of Trump

00:36:31.700 and the MAGA movement.

00:36:33.220 They want a more

00:36:34.180 mainstream,

00:36:34.960 less populist Republican

00:36:36.040 to take over

00:36:37.080 the party

00:36:38.220 in a few years.

00:36:39.740 And therefore

00:36:40.160 whatever hurts

00:36:40.800 Trump now

00:36:41.420 they're fine with.

00:36:44.120 You know the most

00:36:44.900 amusing spectacle

00:36:45.740 has been all the

00:36:46.500 allegedly most based

00:36:49.100 alleged far right

00:36:51.140 influencers

00:36:51.660 who've gone full 0.77

00:36:52.880 leftist cuckold

00:36:53.860 on this issue. 0.76

00:36:54.900 Jake Shields

00:36:55.480 for example posted

00:36:56.280 I supported Kyle

00:36:57.440 Rittenhouse

00:36:57.800 being armed

00:36:58.320 at a BLM riot

00:36:59.100 so it would be

00:36:59.580 hypocritical

00:37:00.120 if I opposed 0.94

00:37:00.600 a leftist

00:37:01.060 doing the same.

00:37:02.100 Laws need to apply 0.99

00:37:02.920 equally to all Americans.

00:37:04.460 The only problem here

00:37:05.120 is that Rittenhouse

00:37:05.920 was not interfering

00:37:07.140 with sabotaging

00:37:08.360 obstructing

00:37:08.960 or resisting

00:37:09.660 law enforcement

00:37:10.400 in any way.

00:37:13.540 The only reason

00:37:14.800 he was on the scene

00:37:15.600 is precisely

00:37:16.260 because law enforcement

00:37:17.240 was nowhere in sight

00:37:18.560 refusing to do their jobs.

00:37:20.480 Rittenhouse

00:37:20.860 and Alex Pretty

00:37:21.460 are not only

00:37:22.920 not alike

00:37:23.900 but are diametric

00:37:25.980 opposites.

00:37:28.320 And yet guys

00:37:29.260 like Jake Shields

00:37:30.300 and again

00:37:31.720 he's not the only one

00:37:32.500 these super based

00:37:33.800 super based

00:37:34.600 right wingers man

00:37:35.480 they're so based.

00:37:37.140 taking the side

00:37:39.120 of the open borders

00:37:39.780 communists

00:37:40.320 and keep in mind

00:37:42.600 as many have pointed out

00:37:43.700 these guys

00:37:45.460 have spent

00:37:45.880 the last two or three years

00:37:47.060 talking about

00:37:47.640 how cool Hitler is 0.91

00:37:48.860 running around

00:37:51.180 edge lording

00:37:51.820 trying to impress us

00:37:53.340 scandalize us

00:37:54.200 with their 0.91

00:37:54.580 Hitler fangirling 0.95

00:37:56.100 oh man

00:37:57.280 Hitler's so cool 1.00

00:37:58.200 aren't I so awesome

00:37:59.720 I said Hitler's cool 1.00

00:38:00.660 and the next thing

00:38:02.360 you know

00:38:02.660 they're telling us

00:38:03.280 that ICE

00:38:03.760 is being too aggressive

00:38:04.760 and it wasn't

00:38:07.240 very nice

00:38:07.680 for Trump

00:38:08.120 to kidnap Maduro

00:38:08.980 or plot

00:38:10.160 to take Greenland

00:38:10.940 like a huge number

00:38:13.340 of these

00:38:13.620 Hitler is cool guys 0.96

00:38:14.720 are

00:38:15.160 they're not on board

00:38:16.240 with what ICE

00:38:16.820 is doing

00:38:17.200 they hated

00:38:18.240 what Trump

00:38:18.720 did in Venezuela

00:38:19.420 and they don't

00:38:21.400 want Trump

00:38:21.780 to take Greenland

00:38:22.400 yeah

00:38:25.260 Hitler is cool 1.00

00:38:26.280 but using

00:38:26.760 any kind

00:38:27.380 of force

00:38:27.880 or violence

00:38:28.500 to simply

00:38:29.000 protect our borders

00:38:30.140 and enforce

00:38:31.140 our immigration laws

00:38:32.020 is

00:38:32.360 that's too far

00:38:33.460 too far

00:38:35.560 make sense

00:38:38.860 of that

00:38:39.240 if you can

00:38:39.800 now the appropriate

00:38:42.500 response to all

00:38:43.280 this nonsense

00:38:43.960 and the one

00:38:44.400 Trump must

00:38:44.900 immediately take

00:38:45.760 is to send

00:38:46.880 thousands more

00:38:47.700 federal agents

00:38:48.360 to Minneapolis

00:38:48.920 he should also

00:38:49.600 invoke the

00:38:50.100 Insurrection Act

00:38:50.740 and send in

00:38:51.240 the military

00:38:51.720 the lawlessness

00:38:52.680 is so pervasive

00:38:53.640 that we have

00:38:54.980 no other choice

00:38:55.620 as various

00:38:57.240 commentators noted

00:38:58.080 including the

00:38:58.560 account Data

00:38:59.100 Republican

00:38:59.560 the street

00:39:00.040 where Pretty

00:39:00.860 died

00:39:01.340 appears to be

00:39:02.000 a hotbed of

00:39:02.680 fraud all

00:39:03.160 by itself

00:39:03.680 you can't

00:39:05.980 take a

00:39:06.500 you know

00:39:06.920 a video

00:39:07.280 of a random

00:39:08.300 street corner

00:39:08.880 in Minneapolis

00:39:09.440 without uncovering

00:39:11.040 a massive fraud

00:39:12.040 scheme

00:39:12.380 specifically

00:39:13.780 Nicolette Street

00:39:14.440 in Minneapolis

00:39:14.920 is home to

00:39:15.420 at least

00:39:15.740 three daycare

00:39:16.620 centers

00:39:17.060 including one

00:39:18.520 owned by the

00:39:18.900 man who

00:39:19.320 started the

00:39:19.820 infamous

00:39:20.100 quality

00:39:20.620 leering center

00:39:21.520 that was

00:39:21.940 unearthed

00:39:22.320 by Nick

00:39:22.620 Shirley

00:39:22.880 now additionally

00:39:23.460 there are

00:39:23.760 about 10

00:39:24.160 different

00:39:24.400 businesses

00:39:24.800 at the

00:39:25.340 address

00:39:25.700 were Pretty

00:39:26.100 Died

00:39:26.480 including

00:39:26.860 an organization

00:39:27.700 that received

00:39:28.480 more than a

00:39:29.080 million dollars

00:39:29.880 in government

00:39:31.280 grants

00:39:31.880 so there's

00:39:32.360 a lot

00:39:32.600 that should

00:39:32.860 be investigated

00:39:34.300 there

00:39:34.940 are all

00:39:35.380 those businesses

00:39:36.020 legitimate

00:39:36.860 as of now

00:39:38.460 no one in

00:39:38.860 Minneapolis

00:39:39.240 or the federal

00:39:39.880 government

00:39:40.300 can answer

00:39:40.980 that question

00:39:41.560 and if the

00:39:42.960 left succeeds

00:39:43.560 in forcing

00:39:44.060 the federal

00:39:44.400 government

00:39:44.780 out of

00:39:45.160 Minneapolis

00:39:45.540 with their

00:39:46.260 campaign of

00:39:47.060 domestic terrorism

00:39:47.820 we'll never

00:39:48.660 get the answer

00:39:49.200 we will never

00:39:50.320 shut down the

00:39:50.940 hundreds of

00:39:51.300 millions of

00:39:51.580 dollars in

00:39:52.000 fraud that

00:39:52.380 takes place

00:39:52.780 in Minneapolis

00:39:53.200 every year

00:39:53.720 at our

00:39:54.000 expense

00:39:54.340 we will never

00:39:55.740 reclaim our

00:39:56.280 national sovereignty

00:39:56.980 and no

00:39:58.900 American citizen

00:39:59.740 regardless of

00:40:01.180 where he lives

00:40:01.660 will have any

00:40:02.160 reason to believe

00:40:02.720 that the rule of

00:40:03.240 law even

00:40:03.780 exists in this

00:40:04.700 country

00:40:05.000 that is the

00:40:07.020 worst possible

00:40:07.620 outcome

00:40:07.940 any resolution

00:40:08.680 to the Minnesota

00:40:09.180 situation that

00:40:09.820 does not include

00:40:10.640 mass arrests

00:40:11.520 of the leftist

00:40:12.180 agitators

00:40:12.740 and mass

00:40:13.620 deportations of

00:40:14.660 the illegal

00:40:15.160 aliens

00:40:16.040 will be a 1.00

00:40:17.180 total failure

00:40:18.600 for the Trump

00:40:19.440 administration

00:40:19.920 will only guarantee

00:40:20.720 more and worse

00:40:21.760 chaos in the

00:40:22.460 future

00:40:22.760 around midnight

00:40:24.820 last night

00:40:25.280 Minneapolis police

00:40:26.000 finally began

00:40:26.540 arresting rioters

00:40:27.400 outside of a

00:40:27.960 hotel that was

00:40:28.940 housing ICE

00:40:29.540 agents

00:40:29.960 why it takes

00:40:32.060 that long

00:40:32.720 I don't know

00:40:33.360 why we have

00:40:35.200 to get we have

00:40:35.700 to spot these

00:40:36.420 people three

00:40:37.080 weeks before we

00:40:37.860 arrest them

00:40:38.460 we'll let you do

00:40:41.340 this for three

00:40:41.780 weeks but no

00:40:42.280 longer than that

00:40:43.040 I don't know

00:40:45.260 but you know

00:40:47.940 maybe that could

00:40:48.580 be a sign the

00:40:49.100 Trump administration

00:40:49.660 is applying the

00:40:50.340 necessary pressure

00:40:51.060 or it could be a

00:40:52.680 temporary victory

00:40:53.440 at this point it's

00:40:54.900 too early to say

00:40:55.680 whatever the case

00:40:58.900 we don't need to

00:40:59.440 hear about as

00:41:00.240 Trump was talking

00:41:00.900 about he had

00:41:01.260 good conversations

00:41:02.160 with Jacob Fry

00:41:03.520 and Tim Walls

00:41:04.520 we don't hear

00:41:06.460 about having good

00:41:07.560 conversations with

00:41:08.480 those two

00:41:08.940 what we should

00:41:11.500 see is Jacob

00:41:12.700 Fry and Tim

00:41:13.820 Walls in

00:41:14.480 leg irons

00:41:15.200 because they are

00:41:16.560 criminals

00:41:17.260 Jacob Fry fomented

00:41:21.580 rioting across the

00:41:23.520 country in 2020

00:41:24.520 and now he's

00:41:26.080 doing it again

00:41:27.060 he did it five

00:41:30.140 years ago six

00:41:31.640 years ago and

00:41:32.780 nothing happened

00:41:33.440 to him there

00:41:34.240 were zero

00:41:35.000 consequences and

00:41:36.060 now he's doing it

00:41:36.620 again and now we

00:41:39.060 have to hear about

00:41:39.540 the good conversations

00:41:40.540 he's having with

00:41:41.240 Donald Trump

00:41:41.740 we need to treat

00:41:45.420 open borders

00:41:45.980 communists who

00:41:46.760 conspire to

00:41:47.320 interfere with

00:41:47.740 federal law

00:41:48.240 enforcement like

00:41:48.880 the domestic

00:41:49.380 terrorists they 0.96

00:41:50.120 are that was 0.53

00:41:52.100 the lesson of

00:41:52.600 the first Trump

00:41:53.120 administration

00:41:53.620 and we simply

00:41:56.620 cannot afford to

00:41:58.420 learn that lesson

00:41:59.360 the hard way

00:42:00.180 again

00:42:01.260 now let's get to

00:42:03.880 our five

00:42:04.180 headlines

00:42:04.500 do you think

00:42:11.120 Dr.

00:42:11.620 Squatch is some

00:42:12.700 small wholesome

00:42:13.780 company

00:42:14.460 Burt's Bees

00:42:15.360 native

00:42:15.740 well think again

00:42:16.520 they've all been

00:42:17.100 bought out by

00:42:17.740 mega corporations

00:42:18.680 and private equity

00:42:19.520 firms who hijack

00:42:20.520 these natural

00:42:21.360 brands and fill

00:42:22.740 them with the

00:44:00.760 okay we missed

00:44:02.240 this last week we

00:44:03.040 talked about the

00:44:03.560 Somali woman Nasra

00:44:04.760 Ahmed who claimed

00:44:05.740 that she was

00:44:06.240 assaulted by ICE and

00:44:08.060 called the n-word

00:44:09.040 obviously making all

00:44:10.660 that up not a

00:44:11.860 convincing liar at

00:44:12.760 all and we don't

00:44:14.060 need to rehash any of

00:44:15.080 that but we missed

00:44:16.180 this moment from a

00:44:18.240 press conference where

00:44:20.000 she tries to explain

00:44:22.560 what Somali culture

00:44:24.800 is and why it's so

00:44:27.220 great which in

00:44:28.980 fairness to her is 0.69

00:44:29.660 not an easy question

00:44:30.700 to answer but

00:44:31.660 here's what she

00:44:33.020 came up with

00:44:33.640 so I'm Somali

00:44:36.760 I'm proud to be

00:44:38.160 Somali

00:44:38.640 to me being

00:44:40.720 Somali isn't just

00:44:41.800 eating bananas

00:44:42.640 with rice

00:44:43.220 it's a it's a lot

00:44:45.380 it's like

00:44:46.060 it's a it's a

00:44:48.940 it's an interesting

00:44:49.780 thing it's a it's

00:44:51.240 very hard to

00:44:51.960 describe what it

00:44:52.840 means to be Somali

00:44:53.940 and what it means to

00:44:55.120 be American but

00:44:56.500 it's like a cultural

00:44:58.220 fusion it's kind of

00:45:00.080 like the bananas and

00:45:01.440 rice you know

00:45:02.780 people don't really

00:45:04.000 see like you know

00:45:06.580 it's it's a it's you

00:45:08.240 know people don't

00:45:08.760 think oh you can eat

00:45:09.660 bananas with rice but

00:45:11.180 that's what it's like

00:45:12.700 to be Somali and

00:45:13.660 American it's like that 0.99

00:45:15.320 combination of banana

00:45:17.340 and rice but you're

00:45:18.860 gonna get what I mean

00:45:19.620 so to me being Somali

00:45:22.420 it it's not just

00:45:23.640 eating bananas and

00:45:25.200 rice with rice it's

00:45:27.020 it's like you know

00:45:29.220 it's like well you

00:45:31.200 know bananas with

00:45:31.920 rice it's it's kind

00:45:33.260 of like that being

00:45:36.220 Somali isn't about 1.00

00:45:37.200 eating bananas with

00:45:38.040 rice but it's really

00:45:39.380 more about it's really

00:45:41.040 more about like like

00:45:43.860 eating bananas with

00:45:45.400 rice it's like it's

00:45:48.840 like like like you

00:45:50.580 know you know

00:45:52.240 bananas and you know

00:45:53.960 rice it's kind of

00:45:54.900 like that even the

00:45:58.220 way she speaks is

00:45:59.000 unbearable this is

00:46:00.640 what happens when you

00:46:01.280 take a third world 0.88

00:46:02.360 Somali woman plop her 1.00

00:46:06.000 down in America around 0.98

00:46:07.440 a bunch of white 0.80

00:46:09.060 liberal women feed her 1.00

00:46:11.200 a steady diet of

00:46:13.040 TikTok videos and

00:46:16.220 bananas with rice

00:46:17.020 apparently this is

00:46:18.320 what you end up

00:46:18.840 with it's like the

00:46:19.400 worst of all

00:46:20.100 imaginable worlds but

00:46:22.380 aside from just kind

00:46:23.140 of laughing at this

00:46:23.860 incoherent answer

00:46:24.660 there is something to

00:46:26.920 be gleaned from it

00:46:27.780 namely that she was

00:46:28.980 not able to explain

00:46:30.300 why Somali culture

00:46:32.140 is so great you

00:46:34.920 know she wasn't

00:46:35.400 able to say anything

00:46:36.160 positive about her

00:46:37.200 own culture or even

00:46:38.300 describe it so she

00:46:40.600 just rambled about

00:46:41.980 bananas and rice

00:46:42.980 which is like if

00:46:46.780 you asked an

00:46:47.620 American what do

00:46:49.400 you love about

00:46:49.840 America it would be 0.76

00:46:52.560 as if they said

00:46:53.380 well you know it's

00:46:56.060 not just the

00:46:56.580 hamburgers but like 1.00

00:46:58.840 well there's the

00:46:59.980 hamburgers but you 1.00

00:47:02.060 would never get that

00:47:02.680 answer from an

00:47:03.280 American because even

00:47:04.180 the least articulate

00:47:05.320 American if they're a 0.96

00:47:07.460 real American if you

00:47:09.220 were to ask them oh

00:47:10.280 what's you know what's

00:47:11.180 what do you love about

00:47:12.040 America well they're

00:47:14.000 gonna say something

00:47:14.640 about freedom they're

00:47:16.160 gonna talk about

00:47:16.780 probably American

00:47:17.600 values and maybe

00:47:19.360 they'll say something

00:47:19.900 about our history a

00:47:20.940 constitution whatever

00:47:22.000 they might even talk

00:47:23.540 about the geography the

00:47:25.140 mountains and beaches

00:47:26.100 and and all the rest

00:47:27.820 of it which are

00:47:29.920 perfectly valid things

00:47:30.840 to say to respond to

00:47:31.860 it but like they'll

00:47:32.380 have again it's like

00:47:33.260 you know not

00:47:33.960 everyone's gonna have

00:47:34.660 the most articulate the

00:47:35.640 most poetic the most

00:47:37.020 profound answer readily

00:47:39.800 available but if you

00:47:42.020 ask an American a

00:47:43.000 question like that

00:47:43.520 that's the kind of

00:47:44.020 answer you'll get

00:47:44.660 and from a Somali

00:47:47.120 it's like what do

00:47:49.440 you love about Somalia

00:47:50.380 so much um hmm it's a

00:47:54.420 stumper it's really hard

00:47:56.000 to come up especially

00:47:56.840 one who fled that

00:47:57.820 country and came here

00:47:58.860 and yet in spite of

00:48:03.360 that Somalis are still 1.00

00:48:04.780 proud of their country

00:48:05.780 they still consider

00:48:06.560 Somalia to be their 1.00

00:48:07.760 home they're all

00:48:10.800 desperate to leave

00:48:11.680 Somalia they have 1.00

00:48:12.420 nothing good to say

00:48:13.280 about the place really

00:48:14.320 and yet they're proud

00:48:16.320 of it and they love

00:48:18.180 it and it will always

00:48:20.320 be their home that's

00:48:23.140 the lesson this is why

00:48:23.960 mass migration doesn't 0.99

00:48:25.260 work this is reason

00:48:26.140 number one billion why

00:48:28.820 it doesn't work when

00:48:29.620 you bring in people from

00:48:30.800 these exotic far-off

00:48:32.060 foreign cultures they 0.86

00:48:35.320 will never assimilate

00:48:36.240 they will always identify

00:48:37.540 with and prefer their

00:48:41.480 home country and and

00:48:43.860 there isn't any way to

00:48:44.800 change that really

00:48:45.800 because they can come

00:48:47.540 here and have a life

00:48:49.800 that is a million times

00:48:51.380 better than they would

00:48:52.640 have had back home we

00:48:54.360 can give them everything

00:48:55.380 give them comfort and

00:48:56.520 luxury and freedom beyond

00:48:58.780 their wildest imagination

00:49:00.060 and they will still prefer

00:49:02.280 their home country they

00:49:03.500 will still consider you

00:49:05.880 know their home country to

00:49:07.000 be home even if the

00:49:09.860 only good thing they can

00:49:10.680 say about the place is

00:49:11.880 bananas and rice which

00:49:15.940 by the way who eats

00:49:16.700 bananas and rice of all

00:49:19.320 the things to combine but

00:49:21.440 even if that's the only

00:49:22.480 thing they can say about

00:49:23.080 it they still will prefer

00:49:24.680 it and will remain loyal

00:49:28.900 to it and love it which

00:49:32.440 as I've said many times I

00:49:34.400 have no problem with that

00:49:35.440 in theory I actually find

00:49:37.020 it quite noble if you

00:49:39.400 live I mean patriotism is

00:49:40.900 a virtue and we should

00:49:41.840 all be patriots for your

00:49:44.460 own country so if you

00:49:47.360 live in a place and it's a

00:49:48.640 total hell hole but you

00:49:49.760 still love it and will

00:49:52.060 defend it to the death I

00:49:53.240 think that's noble it's

00:49:54.220 kind of like you know

00:49:56.900 there's a certain nobility

00:49:57.840 to a Cleveland Browns fan

00:49:59.300 after all these years they've

00:50:02.020 never given you anything to

00:50:02.980 there's like no reason to

00:50:04.060 root for them they're

00:50:04.620 terrible all the time they

00:50:06.760 just break your heart every

00:50:08.020 single season an embarrassing 0.83

00:50:10.560 clown show and yet you have

00:50:12.120 these people that have they're 0.98

00:50:14.620 from Cleveland and hey that's

00:50:16.220 my team and so it's kind of

00:50:18.800 like that with these third

00:50:20.500 world countries but I find

00:50:23.660 that noble and admirable if you

00:50:26.740 stay in your country which is 0.99

00:50:30.120 why I would even though I I

00:50:32.520 might be kind of harsh on on

00:50:34.340 Somalia I'm critical of 1.00

00:50:35.780 Somalia I would never go to 1.00

00:50:38.640 Somalia well I would never go 1.00

00:50:39.440 to Somalia period but I

00:50:40.940 wouldn't go there and and like

00:50:42.480 look around and say man this

00:50:43.520 place is a dump why do you 0.91

00:50:45.600 guys like that like what why 0.98

00:50:46.840 this is your country really I

00:50:51.500 wouldn't do that because hey

00:50:55.020 that's your country and and none

00:50:57.440 of my business and if you live

00:51:00.280 there you should love it and

00:51:01.500 you should be loyal to it but

00:51:06.280 you can't have your cake and

00:51:07.120 eat it too you can't say this

00:51:09.920 is my country it's my home I

00:51:11.400 love it I'm loyal to it it'll be

00:51:14.260 in my heart forever and also I

00:51:16.500 need to get the hell out of

00:51:17.660 here and if you try to send me 1.00

00:51:20.020 back I will kill you you can't 1.00

00:51:22.560 do both of those that is not 1.00

00:51:24.980 noble that is not that is not

00:51:27.000 admirable at all looking back

00:51:29.820 at where I started to wear in

00:51:31.020 today thanks for truly

00:51:32.200 appreciate everything that my

00:51:33.840 wife and I have built together 1.00

00:51:34.900 through it all my family's by

00:51:36.460 far the most important part I

00:51:38.180 want to make sure they're

00:51:38.760 taking care of if something

00:51:40.360 were to happen to me and

00:51:42.400 that's where our sponsor

00:51:43.120 policy genius comes in it's an

00:51:45.980 can compare quotes from top

00:51:54.100 for you helping you figure out

00:51:55.520 what you actually need not what

00:51:57.240 some company wants to sell you

00:52:29.700 all right jimmy kimmel speaking of

00:52:32.660 someone who is not very noble has

00:52:35.980 something to say about all this stuff

00:52:38.780 that's going on he's a well you can

00:52:42.180 yeah after everything happened over

00:52:43.420 the weekend we get to to monday

00:52:46.360 night late night comedy shows what

00:52:50.620 hilarious monologue i mean this is

00:52:53.000 where if you're a late night

00:52:54.540 comedian this is kind of where the

00:52:56.200 rubber meets the road this is this

00:52:59.220 is supposed to be the moment where

00:53:01.120 you prove why you get paid the big

00:53:03.200 bucks you get paid millions and

00:53:05.360 millions and millions of dollars and

00:53:07.360 it should be for moments like this

00:53:08.900 because most of us will look at it

00:53:12.200 and say no matter which side we're

00:53:13.520 on we're like well there's not a lot

00:53:14.620 funny in in all this uh but you're

00:53:19.480 comedian so this is where it's like

00:53:21.180 okay i'm gonna we got to be topical

00:53:23.800 but this is a comedy show and but i'm

00:53:27.140 getting paid millions of dollars i'm

00:53:28.420 supposed to be the comedian and so

00:53:30.260 i'm gonna have some funny jokes that

00:53:32.920 relate to this very serious situation

00:53:34.680 that's the way it's supposed to go

00:53:37.900 but with these late night comedians now

00:53:41.740 they still get paid millions of

00:53:42.960 dollars but they just

00:53:44.700 it for them there's no it's they

00:53:50.560 don't even consider it what tell jokes

00:53:53.040 what do you want me to do tell a joke

00:53:54.320 no instead what we get is this watch

00:53:57.000 if our leaders are intentionally

00:53:59.060 creating and encouraging violence and

00:54:01.920 fear then i hope you will also agree

00:54:04.940 we need new leaders because these are

00:54:06.720 not leaders and to the people of

00:54:16.860 minneapolis to the pretty family and the

00:54:18.780 good family and these people who were

00:54:22.480 looking out for their neighbors we want

00:54:25.620 you to know that we are with you and

00:54:27.000 you are not alone

00:54:27.840 i'll tell you another thing we also

00:54:38.760 want to see those epstein files already

00:54:40.720 so there he is crying again uh i think

00:54:46.480 jimmy kimmel has the record now for the

00:54:48.660 most times crying on live television

00:54:51.740 has anyone ever cried more than jimmy

00:54:56.000 kimmel every three weeks now there's

00:54:58.640 another viral clip here's jimmy kimmel

00:55:01.900 crying again but you notice that even

00:55:05.780 though he cries all the time

00:55:06.860 he's still very selective cries all the

00:55:12.280 time but he's very selective in what he

00:55:14.780 cries about

00:55:15.340 because here he is crying about ice and

00:55:20.200 alex pretty and renee good and you know

00:55:23.780 the people well it's interesting

00:55:26.700 irina zarutska

00:55:28.780 you may if you watch this show you

00:55:31.720 remember her name

00:55:32.400 she was the white woman who was um 1.00

00:55:37.280 also a refugee a ukrainian refugee on a

00:55:42.200 on a bus in charlotte butchered to death

00:55:45.620 on camera

00:55:46.360 i mean one of the most legitimately one

00:55:50.480 of the most upsetting things you will

00:55:52.060 ever see one of the worst videos i've

00:55:55.500 ever seen in my life

00:55:56.300 and unfortunately if you're on the

00:55:59.000 internet these days you see videos of

00:56:00.480 people dying all the time

00:56:01.640 you don't want to but this is just the

00:56:03.760 world we live in now

00:56:04.460 where everything is recorded everything

00:56:06.600 is content

00:56:07.140 so even if you're somewhat jaded by

00:56:10.480 having seen uh death and destruction

00:56:12.400 through your through the

00:56:14.440 through the screen many times

00:56:17.800 even by those standards this was

00:56:21.760 gut-wrenching

00:56:23.900 to see a young woman sitting on her

00:56:27.260 you know sitting by herself on a on a

00:56:30.180 on a train

00:56:31.060 not bothering anybody

00:56:33.520 okay she was not out in the street

00:56:35.960 looking for trouble she was not

00:56:37.780 resisting arrest she was not interfering

00:56:40.140 with federal agents she was not

00:56:42.500 george floyd high on fentanyl

00:56:45.540 committing crimes on none of that

00:56:47.980 she was just coming home from work

00:56:50.060 one day

00:56:50.440 she's got ear pods and she's just 1.00

00:56:53.520 sitting on the

00:56:54.040 on the train

00:56:55.140 not harming anyone

00:56:58.100 not causing any problems with anyone

00:57:00.520 and she gets 0.92

00:57:04.280 butchered to death she gets 0.99

00:57:06.060 stabbed in the throat 1.00

00:57:07.340 by a by a a a scumbag who'd been 1.00

00:57:13.220 arrested 14 times 1.00

00:57:14.760 including violent crimes

00:57:17.180 well that death was

00:57:22.260 incredibly tragic

00:57:24.480 um that was a truly innocent person

00:57:28.460 who was killed

00:57:29.000 and on top of that

00:57:31.260 this was a direct result

00:57:33.620 of bad leadership

00:57:35.880 and bad policy

00:57:37.940 the whole reason this guy to carlos brown

00:57:40.600 was out in public anyway

00:57:43.920 the only reason he was

00:57:44.620 able to do this

00:57:46.520 because of bad leadership

00:57:48.540 and bad policy

00:57:50.120 put him in that position

00:57:52.680 allowed him to do it

00:57:54.000 should have been in prison

00:57:55.500 a long time ago

00:57:56.300 and yet

00:58:00.340 jimmy kimmel never cried about

00:58:02.500 irena zarutska

00:58:03.340 never even mentioned her name

00:58:05.600 all these leftists

00:58:09.020 crying over renee good

00:58:12.580 crying over alex pretty

00:58:13.800 that's why i don't take any of

00:58:16.240 their tears seriously

00:58:16.940 it's all performance 0.99

00:58:17.760 they're all a bunch of sociopaths 0.98

00:58:19.600 even when they say 0.99

00:58:23.200 oh but you know

00:58:24.040 well even if you disagree

00:58:25.120 he was a

00:58:25.760 renee good was a mother

00:58:28.400 alex pretty was a nurse

00:58:30.380 you don't care about that

00:58:33.860 you don't care about that

00:58:35.340 you have actual innocent people

00:58:39.320 who are wives

00:58:41.100 husbands

00:58:41.660 mothers

00:58:42.300 fathers

00:58:42.880 killed every day in this country

00:58:44.840 preventably

00:58:45.660 as a direct result of policies

00:58:48.700 put in place

00:58:49.480 in these cities

00:58:50.320 allowing

00:58:51.660 the worst

00:58:53.540 most violent 0.94

00:58:54.380 most dangerous people

00:58:55.600 to run

00:58:57.400 to wreak havoc on the streets

00:58:58.720 that happens every day

00:59:00.220 and none of you people

00:59:01.580 say a word about it

00:59:02.980 you won't even say

00:59:03.920 their names

00:59:04.620 that's to say nothing

00:59:05.800 of the victims

00:59:06.340 of illegal immigrants 0.94

00:59:07.360 that's to say nothing

00:59:09.860 of the people

00:59:10.720 who are killed 0.91

00:59:11.240 by illegal immigrants

00:59:11.980 obviously you don't

00:59:12.720 mention them

00:59:13.280 all these people

00:59:17.320 you never say a word about it

00:59:18.300 so you

00:59:19.080 i'm supposed to

00:59:20.440 take you seriously

00:59:21.600 when you're in tears

00:59:24.120 over renee good

00:59:25.220 the frankly 0.99

00:59:28.640 like lesbian 1.00

00:59:29.440 deadbeat mom 0.99

00:59:30.620 has two kids

00:59:32.320 that she didn't even

00:59:32.880 have custody of

00:59:33.740 out in the street

00:59:36.900 blocking traffic

00:59:38.760 begging

00:59:39.640 begging

00:59:40.380 for a

00:59:41.100 for a confrontation

00:59:42.040 with law enforcement

00:59:43.020 she gets it

00:59:43.800 i'm supposed to

00:59:45.900 take you seriously

00:59:46.500 when you're crying

00:59:47.080 about that

00:59:47.620 or alex pretty

00:59:50.160 this deranged 0.98

00:59:54.000 weirdo 0.97

00:59:54.900 in these signal

00:59:57.140 chats

00:59:57.680 coordinating

00:59:58.240 with other people

00:59:59.120 rushing out

00:59:59.980 into the street

01:00:00.500 armed

01:00:01.100 with the express

01:00:03.940 intent

01:00:04.320 of interfering

01:00:05.280 with law enforcement

01:00:06.160 and i'm supposed

01:00:08.940 to believe

01:00:09.320 that you're really

01:00:09.920 upset about that

01:00:11.020 but you can look

01:00:12.740 at irena

01:00:13.120 zarutska

01:00:14.080 and feel

01:00:14.620 nothing

01:00:15.200 all of you people

01:00:17.940 you know

01:00:18.380 i know that you

01:00:18.940 know about that

01:00:19.580 case

01:00:19.940 because we didn't

01:00:22.120 let you not

01:00:22.680 know about it

01:00:23.260 it was all

01:00:24.960 over the internet

01:00:25.400 i know you

01:00:26.020 know about it

01:00:26.520 i know you

01:00:26.980 saw it

01:00:27.380 you felt

01:00:28.840 nothing

01:00:29.200 you didn't

01:00:30.160 cry about it

01:00:30.920 didn't express

01:00:31.860 any outrage

01:00:32.580 but then we

01:00:37.100 have to listen

01:00:37.480 to you

01:00:37.680 oh alex pretty

01:00:38.600 was such a

01:00:39.200 good man

01:00:39.820 charlie kirk

01:00:43.120 dies

01:00:43.500 you can't even

01:00:44.260 pretend to care

01:00:45.040 i mean you

01:00:45.560 can't even

01:00:46.100 not just not

01:00:47.220 care in fact

01:00:47.760 you're happy

01:00:48.340 celebrating it

01:00:50.920 so i don't

01:00:56.180 i don't take

01:00:56.580 any of this

01:00:56.940 seriously

01:00:57.200 i don't believe

01:00:57.700 i don't believe

01:00:58.500 it for a second

01:02:40.260 uh actually i found it

01:02:41.980 quite captivating

01:02:43.140 dailywire has a report

01:02:45.140 legendary american

01:02:45.900 rock climber alex

01:03:12.140 yosemite national park

01:03:13.660 climbing 2,900 feet

01:03:15.140 without any safety

01:03:16.080 equipment um i'll put

01:03:19.220 the video up on the

01:03:19.820 screen some of the

01:03:20.520 highlights from this uh

01:03:21.680 him scaling the

01:03:23.340 skyscraper you can see

01:03:25.440 there and although

01:03:26.980 nothing compares to

01:03:27.760 watching this dude do it

01:03:28.780 live you know this was

01:03:29.900 uh this was live with i

01:03:31.320 think a 10 second delay

01:03:32.400 scaling this 1600 foot

01:03:35.120 skyscraper with no rope

01:03:36.700 no harness no net

01:03:38.040 fall and you die you know 0.50

01:03:40.780 it's just that simple

01:03:41.720 which is really tremendous

01:03:43.760 i mean incredible to watch

01:03:45.140 and i would say it's the

01:03:46.480 most impressive athletic

01:03:47.420 achievement ever caught

01:03:48.460 on film except that he

01:03:50.360 did you know he did what

01:03:52.840 he did in free solo the

01:03:54.020 documentary if you haven't

01:03:54.920 seen you should watch it

01:03:55.880 and um we'll put that up

01:03:58.580 on the screen too by the

01:03:59.320 way here's what that

01:03:59.900 climb looked like if you

01:04:00.820 haven't seen free solo

01:04:01.780 just in like that looks

01:04:05.600 impossible the whole climb

01:04:07.260 is like that it's a sheer

01:04:08.500 wall and he's like spider

01:04:11.080 man crawling up this thing

01:04:12.340 with no rope so this guy

01:04:15.140 truly is i think the

01:04:17.580 greatest athlete to ever

01:04:19.020 live you know that's what's

01:04:21.580 kind of interesting is that

01:04:22.640 he's he has a very good

01:04:24.960 argument anyway for being

01:04:25.820 the greatest athlete to ever

01:04:27.240 live on the planet and yet

01:04:29.780 he's not anywhere near as

01:04:30.980 famous as tom brady michael

01:04:33.460 jordan michael phelps you

01:04:35.720 know those guys who are

01:04:36.400 usually in the conversation

01:04:37.420 for greatest athlete ever and

01:04:38.920 they are among the greatest

01:04:41.320 but uh no one i mean like i

01:04:46.760 like sports i like football

01:04:47.980 but you hear about some

01:04:49.600 incredible football

01:04:50.560 accomplishment you hear oh

01:04:53.840 this quarterback threw for

01:04:54.960 45 touchdowns and only had

01:04:56.920 three interceptions or

01:04:59.160 whatever and uh or last year

01:05:02.020 when lamar jackson got got

01:05:04.100 totally uh completely rigged

01:05:06.620 he got robbed of the mvp 40

01:05:08.520 touchdowns five interceptions

01:05:09.920 i think four interceptions

01:05:10.740 that's a that's a huge

01:05:12.380 accomplishment but then you

01:05:13.380 see this this dude climbing

01:05:14.720 a hundred stories with no

01:05:16.420 rope and no harness and what

01:05:19.880 happens on a football field

01:05:20.840 just kind of pales in

01:05:21.780 comparison and uh it's

01:05:24.620 amazing and meanwhile i did

01:05:26.500 see some people on social

01:05:27.900 media afterwards of course

01:05:29.040 making their comments too

01:05:30.960 cool for it too cool for

01:05:32.920 school right i saw somebody

01:05:35.660 who said um oh this is

01:05:38.240 norm this is normie slop

01:05:39.620 this is npc behavior

01:05:41.280 first of all there's nothing

01:05:44.400 more normie or npc than using

01:05:46.620 those terms at this point

01:05:47.700 and second i love how every

01:05:49.780 person on twitter who calls

01:05:51.000 people normies or npcs or

01:05:52.960 whatever is themselves the

01:05:54.680 most banal uninteresting

01:05:56.500 unimpressive person you'll ever

01:05:58.020 encounter you know you've got

01:05:59.680 some like mid-level influencers

01:06:01.180 with whatever a few hundred

01:06:03.100 thousand followers they make a

01:06:04.400 few hundred grand a year

01:06:05.340 from posting engagement

01:06:06.360 bait and they sit there

01:06:08.680 looking at a guy scaling a

01:06:09.980 skyscraper and going

01:06:11.240 normie slop okay all right

01:06:17.860 man like there's this

01:06:20.340 attitude online as you

01:06:21.360 probably noticed where you

01:06:22.340 get these people who and i

01:06:24.440 saw a lot of this it just

01:06:25.400 kind of annoyed me after the

01:06:26.800 uh there's plenty plenty of

01:06:29.200 people that are very

01:06:29.640 impressed by this don't get

01:06:30.440 me wrong but uh a lot of

01:06:32.580 other people

01:06:34.400 and i posted a little bit

01:06:35.820 about this about this you

01:06:37.240 know him climbing the tower

01:06:38.360 because i just think it's

01:06:38.980 amazing

01:06:39.300 and you have these people who

01:06:42.320 just truly

01:06:43.120 hate everything and i i know 0.86

01:06:45.920 i know i know i know i know

01:06:48.520 it's weird to hear me saying

01:06:51.300 that

01:06:51.640 and i know you'll say well

01:06:53.260 matt you hate everything 0.54

01:06:54.200 that's your whole thing that's

01:06:55.380 your whole brand

01:06:55.920 but i don't really i hate a lot

01:06:58.720 of things because a lot of

01:06:59.720 things deserve to be hated but

01:07:00.780 not close to everything i'm

01:07:03.360 saying there are people

01:07:04.140 including some of these

01:07:04.920 influencer types who are

01:07:06.580 really just opposed to

01:07:08.200 everything like family life

01:07:12.780 marriage let's start with

01:07:14.980 that i talk about that very

01:07:17.240 positive terms all the time

01:07:18.380 that's one thing i certainly

01:07:19.380 don't hate uh but they're

01:07:20.980 opposed to that they hate

01:07:22.180 that you know and then you

01:07:24.120 try to talk about something a

01:07:24.960 little less serious sports

01:07:26.200 you know they hate sports

01:07:30.180 sports ball they're too cool

01:07:31.720 for that

01:07:32.180 any movie or tv show you

01:07:34.520 could possibly name is slop

01:07:37.040 right

01:07:37.480 and no hobby they find

01:07:40.440 interesting

01:07:40.980 no activities at all

01:07:42.700 they're just not impressed with

01:07:44.380 anything

01:07:44.940 um

01:07:47.280 total

01:07:48.780 there are times when i try to

01:07:51.580 maybe i'm nerding out a little

01:07:52.580 bit talking about when we talk

01:07:54.100 about um spacex or the latest

01:07:57.460 in space exploration we talk

01:07:59.060 about that a little bit

01:07:59.940 get these same kind of

01:08:02.200 responses from some people who

01:08:04.000 cares about that who cares

01:08:06.300 that's slop everything is slop

01:08:08.980 like literally everything

01:08:09.960 everything on the planet is just

01:08:11.820 slop nothing means anything

01:08:13.120 everything is bad

01:08:13.980 uh just total totally

01:08:16.740 misanthropic there is another

01:08:18.600 criticism of the spectacle this

01:08:20.120 climb which i think is um which

01:08:22.580 is which is more reasonable

01:08:24.620 a more reasonable critique that

01:08:26.380 we that was that you also saw

01:08:28.380 which is that well it's reckless

01:08:30.180 and suicidal to do this and it's

01:08:32.840 unethical to air it live because

01:08:35.820 part of the entertainment value of

01:08:37.820 it let's admit is is the guy gonna

01:08:40.940 fall or not you don't want him to

01:08:42.660 but that what makes it so

01:08:44.540 captivating is that he might fall

01:08:46.400 and um and the fact that he

01:08:48.940 doesn't have uh any harness

01:08:51.320 ups the stakes and the ante quite

01:08:53.780 a bit

01:08:54.040 so there's a reasonable critique

01:08:56.700 that it's just not

01:08:57.600 ethical to do this and there's a

01:09:00.680 worry that well now that we've

01:09:01.840 done this and

01:09:02.460 netflix i'm sure got i don't know

01:09:05.100 what their viewership numbers were

01:09:06.200 but they were pretty substantial

01:09:07.220 now we're going to have more of

01:09:09.120 this kind of thing we're going to

01:09:09.940 have more

01:09:10.400 you know stuff where people are

01:09:13.200 risking their lives

01:09:14.140 live on camera for streaming

01:09:17.420 specials but i understand that

01:09:21.420 critique i just i don't agree

01:09:22.560 with it though i think i think

01:09:24.680 it's good

01:09:25.140 um i think we need examples of men

01:09:29.360 who are willing to take

01:09:30.740 extraordinary risks in pursuit of

01:09:34.600 greatness

01:09:35.020 even something like this and if this

01:09:39.220 leads to kind of a resurgence of the

01:09:41.420 of the daredevil

01:09:42.800 you know daredevils used to be a

01:09:45.200 thing you know is not so much

01:09:46.620 anymore

01:09:47.040 it evil can evil and those kinds of

01:09:49.540 guys the next thing you know now

01:09:50.960 we're going to have people trying to

01:09:52.100 jump across the grand canyon on

01:09:53.360 motorcycles and stuff again

01:09:54.380 uh i think that's good i hope that

01:09:56.880 we

01:09:57.000 that that happens

01:09:58.160 because i think we need that and

01:10:00.920 we don't have a lot of examples of

01:10:02.220 that sort of thing anymore

01:10:03.140 it used to be baked into everyday

01:10:05.140 life right you didn't have to like

01:10:06.780 climbing buildings wasn't baked

01:10:08.140 into everyday life but

01:10:09.060 um living out on the

01:10:11.300 you know just like living everyday

01:10:14.080 life used to come with a certain

01:10:15.920 amount of

01:10:16.860 by today's standards significant risk

01:10:19.320 living out on the frontier entailed

01:10:22.980 significant risk

01:10:24.000 every hour of the day just as part of

01:10:26.200 life

01:10:26.460 living in a tribe somewhere in

01:10:28.580 primitive times

01:10:29.260 there's enormous risk

01:10:30.920 and now we have a society that

01:10:33.280 insulates us from almost all risk

01:10:35.280 and at least if you live in a

01:10:37.440 civilized part of the country

01:10:39.380 where the rule of law basically

01:10:41.340 still applies

01:10:42.100 so not minneapolis but if you live

01:10:43.600 somewhere else

01:10:44.060 then you're kind of insulated from a

01:10:45.940 lot of this stuff

01:10:46.540 and you need people who are willing

01:10:48.020 to

01:10:48.740 traverse far far outside of that

01:10:52.920 bubble of safety

01:10:53.880 because there's a lot to be learned

01:10:55.860 from their example

01:10:56.740 a lot of inspiration to be found

01:10:58.280 there

01:10:58.560 uh keep in mind that you know i was

01:11:01.160 thinking about this

01:11:01.860 as i was watching this and we got

01:11:04.720 this guy

01:11:05.260 like i mean he's not actually

01:11:08.620 fearless we assume he experiences

01:11:10.420 some kind of fear

01:11:11.360 but i think to call him fearless

01:11:13.720 actually

01:11:14.180 diminishes the achievement a little

01:11:16.480 bit because if you truly have no

01:11:17.700 fear at all then well there's

01:11:18.960 nothing that impressive about

01:11:19.900 doing something dangerous

01:11:20.720 because you just don't experience

01:11:22.020 the fear right

01:11:22.760 he has the fear but he's mastered

01:11:25.760 it so much

01:11:27.040 that he's willing to do something

01:11:29.260 that the rest of us like we can't

01:11:30.340 even i can barely

01:11:31.160 you can barely stand to watch it

01:11:33.220 and yet he's doing it because he's

01:11:35.080 mastered fear to this extent

01:11:36.420 and for most of human history you

01:11:39.300 know 500 years ago

01:11:40.360 if you had a guy who who had

01:11:43.560 mastered fear

01:11:44.680 to that extent

01:11:46.080 and was willing to

01:11:47.940 take extraordinary risks

01:11:50.360 and face the prospect of his own

01:11:53.360 death

01:11:53.740 and is able to do that so calmly

01:11:57.260 and competently

01:11:59.860 well 500 years ago there were there

01:12:02.700 would have been a lot of useful

01:12:03.620 things for that guy to do

01:12:05.040 you know you'd put that there's

01:12:06.220 like there are jobs in society

01:12:08.120 where you need people like that

01:12:09.800 to do this thing because of how

01:12:11.160 dangerous it is

01:12:11.860 and uh now there's not as much

01:12:14.900 for those kinds of people to do

01:12:16.140 anymore because everything is so

01:12:17.460 relatively comparatively safe

01:12:19.980 but you still need those guys i

01:12:22.900 think it's a good example to have

01:12:23.980 so

01:12:25.480 i thought it was great i was very

01:12:28.240 impressed by it

01:12:28.800 and uh we will

01:12:30.560 leave it on that note

01:12:32.180 leave it there for today

01:12:33.260 talk to you tomorrow

01:12:34.540 have a great day

01:12:35.800 godspeed

01:12:36.980 what was it like merlin

01:12:47.300 to be alone with god

01:12:49.980 is that who you think i was alone

01:12:56.240 with

01:12:56.520 merlin i knew your father

01:13:02.580 i am yet convinced that he was not

01:13:04.900 of this world

01:13:05.600 all men know of the great taliasin

01:13:11.540 you are my father

01:13:12.580 that the gods should war for my soul

01:13:14.960 princess garras

01:13:17.200 savior of our people

01:13:19.020 i know what the bull god offered you

01:13:23.100 i was offered the same

01:13:25.460 and

01:13:26.420 there is a new power at work in the world

01:13:29.300 i've seen it

01:13:30.420 a god who sacrifices what he loves for us

01:13:33.920 we are each given only one life singer

01:13:36.100 no

01:13:37.560 we're given another

01:13:39.160 i learned of yezu the christ

01:13:43.880 and i have become his follower

01:13:45.800 he's waiting on a miracle

01:13:47.500 and i think you can give him one

01:13:49.480 trust in yezu

01:13:50.880 he is the only hope

01:13:52.400 for men like us

01:13:53.880 fate of britain never rests in the hands of the great life

01:13:56.660 great light

01:13:57.920 great darkness

01:13:59.180 such things mattered to me then 0.95

01:14:01.280 what matters to you now mistress of lies 0.97

01:14:04.340 you 0.97

01:14:06.400 nephew

01:14:07.920 the sword of the high king

01:14:12.780 how many lives must be lost before you accept the power

01:14:18.160 you were born to wield

01:14:20.400 so clinging to the promises of a god who has abandoned you

01:14:25.600 i cannot take up that sword again

01:14:27.540 you know what you must do

01:14:30.540 great light forgive me

01:14:34.340 the time has come

01:14:42.060 to be reborn
