00:00:30.000If you had to pick a country that's given the left everything they've demanded as part of their grand campaign to rid the world of social injustice, France would probably sit at the very top of that list.
00:00:42.000France has a government mandated 35 hour work week, so everybody has tons of free time or else they make a killing in overtime.
00:00:50.580You never have to stay late at the office in France, but even if you don't have a job, no worries.
00:00:55.240You still get free health care from the cradle to the grave.
00:01:01.520Never mind the fact that as a result of these perks, government spending in France accounts for more than 57% of GDP compared to just 24% for the federal government in the U.S.
00:01:12.300Even when you add in state and local governments, we're still well under 40% of GDP.
00:01:17.260So 57%, by comparison, is a staggering number.
00:01:20.960In fact, France spends more on public social spending as a share of GDP than any country in the entire world.
00:01:28.400And you can see it there on the chart.
00:01:30.140France is number one, followed by Austria, Finland, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
00:01:34.260So to recap, they aren't producing very much.
00:01:38.160They aren't working particularly hard or at all.
00:01:41.380And at the same time, they're taxing everybody into the ground and spending more on welfare than anyone else on the globe.
00:01:48.060France collects around 70% more tax revenue relative to the size of its economy than the
00:01:54.700United States. In practice, this means that businesses have to pay substantially more taxes
00:02:00.020for every employee they hire. Personal income taxes are higher. Consumption taxes are dramatically
00:02:05.680higher. Taxes on stock sales are higher, along with corporate income tax. The result is that
00:02:10.880nobody wants to start a business in France because you get penalized for it. The employees barely
00:02:16.520work. The taxes are cartoonishly high. And so there's no growth. There's no innovation. There's
00:02:22.380no there are no good jobs. And, you know, other than that, France is a great place to live.
00:02:27.900A few years ago, France decided that the crushing tax burden, stagnant economy and total lack of
00:02:33.780ambition and innovation wasn't destroying their country fast enough. So they came up with a great
00:02:39.900idea. They decided to open the borders. They accepted more than three million foreigners in
00:02:44.580just the past decade in a country of only around 69 million people with many of these foreigners1.00
00:02:49.960of course coming from third world hell holes in Africa. At no point in France's history has the1.00
00:02:56.020percentage of foreigners relative to the total population been as high as it is right now and1.00
00:03:02.300these foreigners most of them with very low IQs and poor language abilities that's just a1.00
00:03:07.840statistical fact on both counts, had no intention of assimilating into French culture.1.00
00:03:14.480Not that they could, even if they wanted to, but they did have a strong desire to leech off of
00:03:20.140France's expansive welfare system. And naturally, these foreigners put even more strain on the1.00
00:03:25.100economy, an economy that was already in freefall. Such a fragile and poorly run country simply1.00
00:03:32.460cannot survive any kind of significant shock or strain. There's just no margin for error.
00:03:40.620Any crisis was always going to put France into a tailspin. In 2020, during the COVID lockdowns,
00:03:45.440the European Central Bank printed trillions of euros, causing inflation in every aspect of life.
00:03:52.060And more recently, due to the war in the Middle East and the Ukrainian bombing campaign
00:03:56.340against diesel infrastructure in Russia, the cost of energy, which affects the price of virtually
00:04:01.940everything, of course, has only increased even further. And the result of all of that is what
00:04:08.280you're seeing on your screen right now. All of that footage that you're seeing is from Paris
00:04:12.540over just the past few days. Rioters from a range of demographics, including white Antifa communists
00:04:19.680and black Muslims from Africa, have united to sack Paris and to terrorize the rest of France.0.98
00:04:26.840Shops are being looted and ransacked all over the country. Police officers are getting attacked1.00
00:04:31.840in the street. And instead of responding to the rioters, the police are running away. In one case,
00:04:37.960a rioter torched a woman's face with a flamethrower on camera. More than a third of high schools in
00:04:44.020France have been disrupted since the start of the month. Demonstrations and riots stretch across
00:04:48.86040 cities. There are an estimated 500,000 to 800,000 participants in these riots. And we'll
00:04:56.860go through much of the footage in a moment. It's every bit as horrifying as it sounds. But before
00:05:03.160we show any of that footage, we need to talk about how the media is presenting these riots.
00:05:08.820Doesn't matter if you're watching CNN or Fox. In this country, you're told that the chaos in France
00:05:14.740is the result of a student protest over a lack of staff and resources in the government-run
00:05:22.080school system. So here's a CNN article just as one example. Quote, pupils have joined their teachers
00:05:27.640to protest a lack of staff and resources. When their demands were met and extra staff sent to
00:05:33.220the school, the strike ended. But by then, the match had been lit. According to student leader
00:05:37.100Manez Nadal, it spread like a wildfire. The violence and the speed with which the protests
00:05:43.280have grown have taken many by surprise. But the grievances are longstanding, an overcrowded,
00:05:47.560ill-equipped, and understaffed education system that many students feel is no longer fit for
00:05:51.860purpose. Videos have circulated for years showing classrooms with too few desks or chairs or
00:05:57.460students finding their classes canceled when an absent teacher is not replaced. CNN goes on to
00:06:03.780claim that pupils are responsible for setting trash cans on fire, assaulting police officers,
00:06:09.780manning their own barricades to block traffic on the roads. So it's a student demonstration
00:10:46.260If you block people's cars without any lawful justification for doing so, then you are kidnapping them.
00:10:52.080You are holding them against their will.
00:10:53.840You are committing a violent act by stranding them in their cars against their will and preventing them from leaving.
00:11:02.080If anybody in those cars is having a medical emergency, you're endangering their lives.
00:11:07.540So when thugs blockade roads, which happens all the time in third world countries, by the way,
00:11:12.660they're not engaging in any form of protest, much less peaceful protest.
00:11:15.740They are engaging in domestic terrorism and the people they're kidnapping in a sane society
00:11:20.240would have the legal right to use any force necessary to escape.
00:11:25.480Especially since the police have clearly given up on enforcing the law in France anyway.
00:11:30.440And somehow that's not even the most bizarre part of this propaganda video,
00:11:33.700which, as you saw, featured multiple protesters wearing face diapers, presumably so that they don't contract the latest strain of long COVID or something.
00:11:43.460The woman was at least somewhat honest about why she's there.
00:11:46.120She complains about the world burning or whatever, but her actual concern is that she's poor.0.99
00:11:51.680She has no income. She has no savings. She has no job.0.98
00:11:56.280And many of the other native-born French protesters who are showing up to these demonstrations are the same.0.52
00:12:03.700You know, we could talk about the Muslim foreigners who are rioting, and we will, but we can't ignore the fact that a lot of white French people are also drawn to these riots because in their mind, communism is a potential solution to the fact that they're broke.
00:12:19.040Or at least they think more government spending might somehow fix their problems.
00:12:22.880You heard it from one of the young white students in that clip.
00:12:26.580He said that he's complaining in part about an alleged lack of school resources.
00:12:30.940But as we just established, France is already spending all of its money and then some on public programs, including its school system.
00:12:41.500France spends much more money on average per high school student than other countries in Europe.
00:12:46.300Specifically, they spend around 35 percent more per high school student than the average country in the EU.
00:12:51.800They spend more than Britain, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
00:12:56.040And again, in general, they're spending far more on social services than anyone else and far more than they should be.
00:13:06.960This really can't be emphasized enough.
00:13:10.460The demonstrations that are taking place right now in France are proof that no matter how much money you funnel into government services and these welfare programs, the left will always demand more.
00:13:23.18060% of GDP is not enough. They demand 100% goes towards social services, meaning, you know,
00:13:32.520handouts. And even 100% would not be enough. They want taxes to go even higher. At no point will
00:13:40.060anyone on the left have the obvious realization that they are poor precisely because they already
00:13:46.180have high taxes and high government spending. It's because nobody is working in the country
00:13:51.300and they're getting taxed into oblivion.
00:13:54.760You know, that would require a degree of introspection.
00:13:57.120It would require some understanding of economics and history,
00:13:59.680particularly the history of communism.
00:14:00.800So these people are trapped in an endless cycle
00:14:02.840where they demand more government spending,
00:14:04.760which only makes their problems worse in the long run.
00:14:08.040Canadians are trapped in a similar cycle,
00:14:09.780although the government-run media, you know,
00:22:28.580You know, it sounds like a cliche you'd hear on ESPN, but it's generally true.
00:22:34.200The side that wants to win historically does end up winning.
00:22:39.920For France, despite what the president of the country is saying, it's very obvious that the country is not willing to suppress this uprising with the necessary amount of force.
00:22:47.920There's some evidence that riot police in some cases are dispersing the mob, but there's much more footage that looks like this.
00:29:57.960A flat tire or a sick child could mean you miss out on making your voice heard.
00:30:02.060That's why I need you to vote early. Go to GOPvotes.org, find your polling place and bank your vote today.
00:30:07.440If you live in the critical Senate battlegrounds of states of Alaska, Michigan, Maine, Ohio, Iowa or Texas, early voting is already underway this week.
00:30:16.340The radical left has won Democrat primaries across the country and their turnout machine is ready to swarm the polls this fall.
00:30:22.980That's why you need a plan to vote to President Trump is counting on you.

00:31:07.820Standard message and data rates may apply.
00:31:10.420But these riots are different, as footage like this demonstrates.
00:31:14.760This is footage from a student rioter at a high school near Paris. Watch.
00:31:25.420Now, in case your French isn't up to snuff, he called for murdering police officers in the name of Allah.
00:31:33.140Quote, there are only 10 of them. In the name of Allah, we kill them all.1.00
00:36:52.140Quote, from the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of
00:36:55.340Toronto, young people are telling their governments the same thing.
00:36:59.600In an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in.
00:37:03.620In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers, and smaller classes.
00:37:07.560In America, let us listen to our young.
00:37:09.980We need an economic and political transformation, America's next New Deal.
00:37:16.380In other words, he's saying we need communist riots in this country, more of them.
00:37:20.580We need to see businesses razed to the ground and innocent people getting terrorized in the streets
00:37:25.600and religious statues getting defiled, all in the name of economic and political transformation.
00:37:31.060but what would that look like exactly well it would look a lot like france you know they spend
00:37:38.320dramatically more than we do on social services and equality and now they're rioting because
00:37:43.500it's unsustainable ro-kanna and the democrat party explicitly want to destroy the united states
00:37:50.460there's no getting around it at this point and not just that they also want to imprison their
00:37:55.820political opponents like all communists do what they did to donald trump and his advisors in the
00:38:00.720run up to the last election was just a sampling of what they had planned. Here's Alyssa Slotkin,
00:38:06.320the Democrat senator from Michigan, making the threat explicit. So that's what I'm saying. I
00:38:11.520want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people
00:38:16.880who enabled him. I want young people coming out of school to say, should I go work for the Trump
00:38:22.220administration? Like, that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity. I want them to be like, Lord,
00:38:26.620that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want. And so let me avoid participating in that. I want that deterrence message.
00:38:36.720This is a sitting Democrat senator saying that, in her view, the job of the federal government is to terrorize Republicans to the point that they don't want to work for Republican administrations anymore.
00:38:46.600These people have believed this for a very long time, but now they're admitting it in public. And we all see this in our everyday lives as well.
00:38:53.260You know, typical Democrat voters are now much more vengeful and frankly dangerous than they've ever been.
00:38:59.540Their political leaders are calling for violence and they're happy to oblige.
00:39:04.200Now, if you vote for a Democrat, any Democrat, this is the ideology you're supporting.
00:39:07.400You're voting for more social spending, more political crackdowns, more censorship, more foreign invaders.0.63
00:39:13.980And in doing so, you're voting for exactly what they have in France,0.97
00:39:17.520which is a lawless hellhole that's becoming more and more indistinguishable from Africa by the day.1.00
00:39:24.860And nobody wants to live in Africa, even the Africans. That's why they're coming here.1.00
00:39:29.700Therefore, whatever you think of the Trump administration or the Republican Party in general,
00:39:33.400the midterms do not present a difficult choice. One side is for civilization,
00:39:38.640even if they're not good enough at defending it. The other wants to actively destroy it.
00:39:45.120This is a realization that occurred to the English philosopher Roger Scruton as he saw the riots in Paris in the 1960s.
00:39:54.720I've suffered this all my life, at least ever since I became a conservative, which was in May 1968 in Paris.
00:40:03.060I didn't know, I hadn't a very clear idea of how to articulate it.
00:40:08.880All I knew was that when I looked down the street and saw all these rowdy students throwing stones at policemen, I just said to myself, whatever they believe, I believe the opposite.
00:40:21.400And then I didn't know what it was. And then it was a sort of lifetime's work to find out what the opposite is.
00:40:28.520It's tempting to dive deep into the minutiae of various legislation or policy proposals, but sometimes it really is this simple and straightforward. One party is telling you that it wants to import lawlessness and destruction and social decay. And that's what they'll do. They're doing exactly what Christopher Hitchens warned us about. They're holding open the gates for the barbarians.
00:40:53.900this is very urgent business ladies and gentlemen i beseech you resist it while you still can and0.69
00:41:01.060before the right to complain is taken away from you which will be the next thing you will be told
00:41:06.200you can't complain because you're islamophobic the term is already being introduced into the
00:41:13.440culture as if it was an accusation of race hatred for example or or bigotry whereas it's only the
00:41:19.360objection to the preachings of a very extreme and absolutist religion. Watch
00:41:23.740out for these symptoms. They are not just symptoms of surrender, very often
00:41:27.880ecumenically offered to you by men of God in other robes, Christian and Jewish and
00:41:33.040smarmy ecumenical. These are the ones who hold open the gates for the1.00
00:41:37.960barbarians. The barbarians never take a city till someone holds the gates open0.99
00:41:41.860for them. And it's your own preachers who will do it for you and your own0.98
00:41:45.360multicultural authorities who will do it for you. Resist it while you can. And if you wonder1.00
00:41:53.060what will happen if you don't, look and see how a cricket team in Middlesex in England
00:41:58.060had to change its name by force last week because it was called and had been for years
00:42:02.080the Middlesex Crusaders. Look and see how stories about little pigs can't be taught
00:42:07.220to children in English schools anymore, lest offense be taken by the religion of peace.
00:42:13.840Resist it while you can, Hitchens says.
00:42:16.520What does that look like in practice?0.56
00:42:20.060It means shutting down migration and preserving your national heritage, your religious traditions, your culture.0.53
00:42:26.300And indeed, there is objective evidence that this administration understands that.
00:42:30.280The New York Times, not a friendly source, just reported that the Trump administration has cut legal immigration more than any administration since the 1920s.
00:42:38.340That was the Coolidge administration, which we're going to cover in an upcoming episode of Real History, along with the rest of the immigration restrictions of the 1920s. Immigration from Muslim and African nations is down around 90%. Visas from Asia are down. And these are meaningful victories. They're the reason we have a chance of remaining a functioning country where so many other Western nations have fallen.
00:43:01.180The reason they're all lying about what's happening in France right now, the reason the media is pretending some students are just upset about school funding, is that they understand the stakes.
00:43:10.580They understand that if most Americans understood how quickly our streets could turn into Paris, Democrats would never win another election.
00:43:19.120Or at least they wouldn't do it honestly.0.91
00:43:22.140Preventing Democrats from opening the gates for those barbarians should be the single0.82
00:43:26.440most important priority of every American voter from this moment forward.0.94
00:43:33.280Because if they win, as the shop owners have discovered in France, we will all be on our own.
