00:00:00.000 So I'm sure you heard the news out of Ireland. Ireland, once a devoutly Catholic country,
00:00:05.880 but no longer, voted a few days ago to repeal the amendment that prohibits abortion in their
00:00:11.780 country. So another way of putting that is they voted to remove human rights from unborn children.
00:00:17.380 They voted to unperson unborn people. And it was a landslide, 64% in favor of killing children
00:00:24.400 in Ireland, 34% against, twice as many for as against. And this was, I believe, basically an
00:00:32.000 exact reversal of what the ratio was when the amendment was first passed. Ireland, like the
00:00:39.400 rest of the West, Ireland has been on a steep cultural decline for many decades. And it ends
00:00:46.400 here. It ends in absolute moral relativism and nihilism and bloodshed. That's where it always
00:00:54.100 ends. Many, most of the Western countries had arrived at that point a long time ago. It took,
00:00:59.340 it took Ireland longer because Ireland was much more steeped in faith. So it took them longer to
00:01:04.860 arrive at that point. And it's a very, very sad, especially for people like myself who have Irish
00:01:09.340 heritage. It's a very sad thing to witness. And I think it's interesting to note, and this is kind
00:01:14.160 of a separate conversation. I don't want to get too sidetracked. Maybe I'll do a separate show about
00:01:17.820 this, but it's interesting to note that in Ireland, there's been a very steep decline in church
00:01:23.300 attendance that has correlated with all the other, with the general cultural descent.
00:01:30.820 And of course, again, across the West, this has been the case, that fewer and fewer people every
00:01:35.460 year are going to church. Certainly, it's been the case in our country. But it's been a very dramatic
00:01:40.240 decline in Ireland, because if you go back 40 or 50 years ago, or even maybe even more recent than
00:01:44.840 that, like 30 years ago, you would find that in Ireland, basically, everybody goes to church,
00:01:51.940 right? And now, the vast majority of people don't. And it's no coincidence. People stop going to church,
00:02:00.620 stop practicing their faith like that. And then you have things like what happened this weekend in
00:02:06.620 Ireland. And the main reason I wanted to note that is because in our country, I often will talk to
00:02:13.740 Christians who will claim that going to church doesn't matter. And it doesn't really matter if
00:02:18.580 you go to church or not. And it's not surprising that that point of view is so prevalent, because
00:02:23.780 church attendance is becoming a rarity in America. But so I talked to Christians to say, well,
00:02:28.900 you're going to church doesn't matter. If that's the case, that it doesn't matter, then why is it
00:02:35.840 that there is always a correlation between a country losing its faith and the people in the
00:02:45.460 country not going to church anymore? Why is it that those things are always connected?
00:02:50.960 People stop going to church and the faith thing. A decline in church attendance always coincides with
00:02:57.540 a decline in faith. Always. There is not one single example in the entire world of a country where
00:03:07.240 the people stopped going to church, but the faith remained strong. Not one single example. Why is that?
00:03:15.640 Why is it that in every country where people stop going to church, the faith is suffering enormously?
00:03:21.720 It's kind of interesting, isn't it? I mean, it would seem, it would almost seem that going to church is a
00:03:27.180 really important thing. Actually practicing your faith that way collectively together is extremely
00:03:33.540 important. And when you stop doing that, everything else falls apart. That's how it would seem.
00:03:40.180 Unless you can point to an example, just give me one example of just one country where the faith is
00:03:45.380 very strong and people are on fire with the faith in their country. And culturally, the country looks
00:03:52.280 exactly as you would expect it to look. It's not legal to kill babies, you know, gay marriages,
00:03:57.180 doesn't exist. Families are strong, marriages are strong, the faith is strong, but people don't
00:04:02.320 go to church. Give me one example of that. Just one. So anyway, people were jubilant in Ireland.
00:04:12.120 The streets were filled with tearful, happy people who are overcome with joy because they can kill
00:04:19.020 babies. Abortion will be legal up until 12 weeks. And after that, abortions will only be legal where
00:04:28.320 the health of the mother is at risk. But you have to look at the fine print there because health of
00:04:33.300 the mother includes mental health. So if the mental health of the mother is at risk, then you can get
00:04:38.780 abortions after 12 weeks as well, which means that abortion is effectively legal after 12 weeks also,
00:04:44.200 because mental health is a qualifier that can justify literally any abortion. Because any woman
00:04:53.000 can say, well, my mental health will suffer if I have this baby. And there's no way to disprove that
00:04:58.020 whatsoever. So, you know, abortion is legal up till 12 weeks and beyond in Ireland. Now, I wanted to read
00:05:05.280 a little bit from, just because I think it's very revealing. So, and it's also revolting, I'm just warning
00:05:12.500 you, but I wanted to read a little bit from the CNN report on this scene in Dublin after the results of
00:05:24.120 the vote were announced. So it says, it was a scene of jubilation as some supporters burst into tears.
00:05:32.980 Others began laughing as they hugged one another and asked each other, can you believe we did this?
00:05:38.780 Emma Gallagher, 22, began crying as she heard the final results. I feel safe now. I feel comfortable,
00:05:46.800 she told CNN. It felt for a long time women didn't matter. Now we know that we matter.
00:05:53.400 Except for women, females in the womb, you know, they don't matter. But Renee Wogan, 66, held Gallagher's
00:06:00.400 hand and told her, it was all for justice. You're forwarding the flag for all women.
00:06:06.000 Thousands of people packed the square in front of Dublin Castle as abortion rights politicians,
00:06:11.800 including the Irish prime minister, also joined the celebration. He told Sky TV he expected
00:06:16.260 legislation to be voted through by the end of the year. Another woman says, I feel enormous relief
00:06:21.920 and great pride in the people of Ireland who didn't know what they thought about it until they
00:06:28.660 were finally asked the question. It has been a long and very hard road, but we never lost sight of this
00:06:34.940 because it's so central to the existence and the selfhood and the personhood of women to have that
00:06:42.360 control over our bodies. Killing babies is central. Think about that. Killing babies is central to the
00:06:53.500 existence of women. Think about that. Abortion is central to the existence of women. And it's the
00:07:05.040 only way that they can have selfhood and personhood. According to this person, abortion, women cannot
00:07:12.360 even have a self. They can't even have selfhood. They cannot even be a self without the ability to
00:07:19.960 kill babies. And not just kill babies, but kill their own children. It's a competition, you see,
00:07:28.520 in the minds of pro boards. It's like there's a competition. There's this eternal struggle between
00:07:34.520 women and their offspring. And women in Ireland just won the competition. Now, as I said, it was in
00:07:43.780 reality a sad, sad day for Ireland and the Irish people. And I assure you of this, that history
00:07:50.340 will look back on scenes like the one I just described. They will look back in scorn and contempt
00:07:57.900 and ridicule. And they will judge us swiftly and harshly and fairly for our sick enthusiasm for killing
00:08:07.480 babies. And the other thing is, when history looks back on our country in America or Ireland or anywhere
00:08:15.240 else in the West where this goes on, there's not going to be any nuance to their judgments. It's just
00:08:22.380 like when we look back on slave owners. We don't make any attempt to understand their position with
00:08:29.200 nuance or to, you know, understand in context or whatever. We don't do that. We look back on slavery
00:08:37.060 and slave owners. And we say it was, we say it's a, it was a, it was a terrible debased evil. And
00:08:41.960 these were all evil people and that's it. And that's how they will live for the entirety of
00:08:48.900 the rest of the human race. Or that's how they exist in our minds. Right. And that's what people
00:08:56.520 will do. And later on when history looks back on this era, the abortion era, if for one thing,
00:09:04.880 abortion will be the thing that defines us, nothing else. Just like slavery defined that era,
00:09:12.200 abortion is what defines us. And nobody's going to take the time to understand it in context or
00:09:17.800 anything or to understand it with nuance. They're just going to write off our entire era, our entire
00:09:23.720 civilization as a bunch of bloodthirsty, self-worshiping, baby-killing psychopaths.
00:09:30.340 And they won't be wrong. They will not be incorrect. And we will deserve their judgments.
00:09:39.020 But this story and the enthusiasm and celebration that surrounds it, it does illustrate one important
00:09:45.880 thing. That the pro-abortion left, despite what they may claim, the pro-abortion left,
00:09:52.880 they do not see abortion as a necessary evil. To them, it's not a sad thing that is sometimes
00:10:04.500 necessary. They may claim that nobody likes abortion. Nobody is pro-abortion. Every time I
00:10:11.040 use the phrase pro-abortion, I have pro-abortion people who say, well, nobody's pro-abortion. What
00:10:15.220 are you talking about? Nobody's in favor of abortion. It's just that sometimes it's necessary. We need to
00:10:20.920 have that right for women in the unfortunate situation, the tragic situation where it's
00:10:24.740 necessary. We need to have it available to them. But that's simply not the case. Just look at the
00:10:32.580 jubilation and the tears and the just ecstasy of these people in Ireland. They love abortion.
00:10:42.500 They are happy when babies die. They are happy about it. If you tell them in America, you know, 60
00:10:52.060 million abortions, 60 million babies are dead, they're happy about it. The people like this,
00:10:58.640 the kinds of people that were in the street in Ireland crying tears of joy, they're happy about
00:11:06.120 racking up those numbers. They love abortion. It is not a necessary evil. It is, in their minds,
00:11:13.840 a necessary good. If it were otherwise, okay, if they were really just pro-choice and not pro-abortion,
00:11:22.560 and if they just thought that, well, a woman has to have this choice, but it's really unfortunate
00:11:27.080 when a choice needs to be exercised, then there wouldn't be all of this celebration.
00:11:32.020 The response to this vote in Ireland would be somber and muted and restrained. They wouldn't
00:11:40.060 be throwing a parade and crying tears of joy because they would recognize that even in their
00:11:45.120 minds, you know, from this perspective, they would say to themselves, okay, well, it's good that women
00:11:49.460 have this right, this necessary right, but it is going to result in a lot of bloodshed. And that's a
00:11:58.540 very sad, unfortunate thing. In their minds, it may be a necessary thing, but it's very sad.
00:12:04.760 And so that's how they would react, or they would not be crying tears of joy and saying,
00:12:09.920 we did it, we did it, yes, and throwing their arms up in the sky and just, yes, babies are dying, hooray.
00:12:20.320 They wouldn't be doing that. They do that. I mean, it's very simple. When you see people
00:12:25.860 celebrating and crying tears of joy in the street, and you find out that they're doing this because
00:12:31.380 abortion is legal, they love abortion. They are so pro-abortion. I mean, they are more pro-abortion
00:12:38.640 than they are pro anything else. It's the thing that they are most in favor of in life. And it's
00:12:45.700 important for us to understand that the pro-abortion left is led by people like this. This is what you
00:12:54.200 find on the pro-abortion left. Leading the way are a bunch of people who really do love abortion.
00:12:59.760 It's their high sacrament. They revere it. They bow before it. It is a high, holy, beautiful thing to
00:13:07.360 them. And they really have a reverence for it. And they approach it with a satanic enthusiasm.
00:13:16.200 The only thing I really can compare the enthusiasm to is I read a couple of very fascinating books
00:13:24.140 about the Aztecs and especially Cortez and the Spanish conquistadors in there, how they conquered
00:13:33.760 the Aztec people, which was a great moment for human history and a great victory that I still thank
00:13:40.540 God for. That the Aztec civilization was destroyed because it needed to be destroyed. The Aztec
00:13:47.460 civilization was easily the most satanic civilization that has ever existed. The most evil, twisted,
00:13:53.900 satanic, perverted, depraved, bloodthirsty civilization that has ever existed on the face of
00:13:59.740 the planet. And I would probably include even, I'd put it even below the Nazis or above the,
00:14:05.440 you know, however we're phrasing that. But the human sacrifice that went on in the Aztec civilization
00:14:11.480 was just beyond anything you can imagine. I mean, tens of thousands. And there weren't that many
00:14:18.980 people, you know, we're talking about a few million people probably. So this is tens of thousands of
00:14:24.360 humans, often children, were slaughtered in human sacrifices every single year. And there were cases,
00:14:31.760 there was one case, one instance, where a new temple was built. And to kind of coronate this
00:14:38.320 temple, they sacrificed tens of thousands of, I think it was something like 80,000 people in the
00:14:44.640 span of a couple of days. They sacrificed on this temple to baptize it in the blood of these
00:14:51.740 sacrifices. The way that they did these sacrifices is they would take, usually these were prisoners that
00:14:58.820 they caught slaves. They also demanded tributes to be paid by all of the different tribes that they
00:15:07.380 had conquered and subjugated. They demanded these tribes provided tributes of human sacrifices
00:15:12.300 on a, you know, on a regular basis to keep things going. And which is one of the reasons why when
00:15:19.060 Cortez came, he had no problem enlisting other Indian tribes to help him defeat the Aztecs,
00:15:25.260 because they had all been enslaved by this barbaric, horrific civilization of bloodthirsty
00:15:31.660 cannibals. So anyway, they would bring the sacrifices up to the top of the temple.
00:15:37.500 They would lay them on a slab and the high priest would cut open, while the person's still alive,
00:15:44.180 they would cut open the person and rip their beating heart out of their chest. And then they
00:15:48.900 would push the dead bodies down the temple steps. And the limbs would be hacked up and eaten at the
00:15:57.060 bottom of the steps. Okay, this is what this is what went on for among the Aztecs. There was this
00:16:04.180 real, and Cortez himself is one of the ways we know about this, is when the Europeans witnessed this
00:16:11.680 stuff going on, you know, and it was just unlike anything they'd ever seen or could conceive of.
00:16:17.560 But there was this, like, they went into this trance. They went into this real, this demonic
00:16:24.160 trance, this almost orgasmic ecstasy that they had when they were killing and devouring people.
00:16:34.000 And the reason I bring that up is, that's the only thing I can think to compare the scene in Ireland
00:16:40.240 with people in the streets. Again, this almost orgasmic ecstasy over the mass slaughter of
00:16:48.220 babies. It's the only thing historically that I can think to compare it to.
00:16:52.960 So, and those are the people, like the Aztec high priests, who just love abortion. And they really
00:17:00.560 see it as a, it is like a sacrifice to their satanic gods. And we must do this. We must kill these
00:17:07.820 babies. They are, they're the ones who are leading the way, not just among, on the pro-abortion left,
00:17:14.180 but on the left generally. And of course, to distinguish pro-abortion left from the other
00:17:18.340 kind of left, that doesn't make any sense because there is no other kind of left. The left is pro-abortion,
00:17:23.440 you know, and you can't be on the left if you're not pro-abortion. So they're the ones leading the
00:17:27.200 way. And then at a, at kind of the lower level, you have sort of the mass of pro-abortion people,
00:17:34.820 the majority of pro-abortion people, and they perhaps don't have the same kind of enthusiasm.
00:17:40.520 They're not going out into the streets and crying tears of joy about it, but they also,
00:17:44.500 neither do they have anything approaching somber restraint. They are empty and numb. They see the
00:17:51.340 sacrifice of human children as necessary and good, though they still get a certain kind of queasy
00:17:57.360 feeling in their stomach about it sometimes, but then they feel guilty for having that feeling and
00:18:02.500 they try to suppress it. But they are pro-abortion. They are, they are not restrained about it and
00:18:08.580 they really are not sad about it. They don't see it as a sad thing. And these two groups,
00:18:13.920 the bloodthirsty abortion enthusiast and the admiring abortion supporter, they comprise the
00:18:19.460 majority of the pro-abortion left. Now, way, way, way out on the fringes,
00:18:25.980 you have a few people who really do hold to the pro-choice but not pro-abortion mantra in that
00:18:36.760 they really don't like abortion and they find it detestable personally, but they just can't bring
00:18:42.560 themselves to call for its prohibition because they've been so brainwashed and indoctrinated.
00:18:48.680 But they, you know, they really do acknowledge within themselves that this is a sad and terrible
00:18:53.560 thing. But because they've been brainwashed, they think that, oh, it's, it's necessary for some
00:18:58.280 reason. Those people, the people like that, and it's a dwindling minority of people, but
00:19:03.400 there is, there's, there's definitely hope for them. They have a heart still, they have a conscience.
00:19:10.660 And so you can reach out to them and connect with them. There is a, there's a, there's some kind of
00:19:16.340 common ground because you both acknowledge that abortion is a sad and terrible thing.
00:19:21.220 It's just a matter of where do you go from there, right? So those people, it's not too difficult to
00:19:27.560 connect with them and to bring them over to, uh, bring them, bring them into the light. But the
00:19:32.900 rest, the kinds of people who are, you know, just so ecstatic and enthusiastic about abortion,
00:19:39.700 well, they need a miracle. They need prayer. They can't be reasoned with. Okay. You can't argue with
00:19:47.980 them. Only the Holy Spirit can change their minds by changing their hearts. But if God decides to
00:19:54.480 hand them over to their depraved passions, then that's where they're going to stay. And we may
00:20:00.400 have to figure out some other way to oppose them because they're beyond the reaches of debate or
00:20:04.860 argument. The people like that, you know, like I said, in order to reason with someone and to convince
00:20:12.160 them, you have to be able to connect with them on some level. And if you're dealing with someone
00:20:18.660 who is, whose eyes are welling up with tears of joy over the thought of dead children. Uh, and if
00:20:27.240 you're dealing with someone who thinks that the very existence of women is, uh, hinges on the ability
00:20:33.320 to kill their own children. Well, someone like that, you know, you, you can't connect with them on
00:20:38.000 any level at all. They barely have any kind of human conscience anymore. So we have to pray for
00:20:45.120 them very, very hard and find, you know, we have to go and look and find any of the stragglers, any,
00:20:51.980 any of the remaining quote unquote pro-choice people who still have a conscience and, and, and,
00:20:58.340 and do recognize in their hearts that this is evil. We got to find them first and enlist them
00:21:03.200 because they can be reached. And then once we're left only with the, with the, uh, with
00:21:08.560 the people, with the satanic enthusiasm for killing babies, well, then we have to decide
00:21:12.040 where to go from there. But it's a sad day, uh, for, for the world. And so let's pray for, um,
00:21:17.180 Ireland and for the West and for our souls and for these children, the many, many children
