00:06:48.920 what's been happening with Chick-fil-A and the left's war on Chick-fil-A. There's two things we
00:06:52.920 can learn from it. One, I wrote about yesterday and, um, and that is an important lesson that I've
00:06:58.200 talked about before, but it's worth emphasizing. Never apologize for your beliefs. If your beliefs
00:07:08.020 are right and true, never apologize for them. Dan Cathy has never apologized, um, for his, uh, for,
00:07:18.980 for his stance on traditional marriage, so-called traditional marriage, so-called biblical marriage,
00:07:23.600 when really it's just marriage, right? But he's never apologized for that. Six years later,
00:07:28.520 they're still coming after him. He still has not apologized. Now the left could try to claim some
00:07:33.360 sort of victory based on the fact that, uh, Dan Cathy's charitable organization doesn't donate to
00:07:40.940 certain quote, anti-gay groups anymore. And Dan Cathy's also a couple of years after all this went down,
00:07:47.860 he came out and said that he regrets inadvertently getting his company involved in a political
00:07:54.460 dispute. He obviously is someone that doesn't, he doesn't necessarily relish the attention.
00:07:58.760 And I think it's pretty clear that he feels bad that his employees got mixed up into this and he
00:08:04.620 didn't like that. So the main thing he, all he wants to do with Chick-fil-A is just sell chicken.
00:08:09.600 Um, on a personal level, he promotes Christian values and, and, uh, traditional marriage and so forth.
00:08:15.800 But as far as Chick-fil-A, Chick-fil-A's primary mission is just to sell good chicken, right? And
00:08:19.740 that's, and that's the point that he tried to make, but he never apologized for his beliefs.

00:08:42.960 that he is a, is an advocate for it. And that's what all this started. He has not backed down from
00:08:47.980 that even an inch. And so there's a great lesson there that you've got this guy in this company,
00:08:57.040 you know, this guy runs a company, he comes out for traditional marriage. The, the hounds of hell are, 0.94

00:09:10.400 preceding six years? Well, only unprecedented growth and enormous profitability for Chick-fil-A.

00:14:37.600 marriage and reject its meaning, if we deny those things, then we have fatally weakened this building
00:14:45.080 block upon which society rests. That's why it's so important. People say, why is the definition of
00:14:50.560 marriage important? Because marriage is the foundation of our society. That's why it's so
00:14:57.300 important. What do you mean, why is it important? And there's a second point too. Sexual immorality
00:15:03.940 is a great scourge of modern times. And it has led a lot of people into dark and despairing places.
00:15:11.420 Now, the left's message is a hedonistic one. And thus, it is a message that leads people further
00:15:19.080 into despair. And we have to have a counter vision. We have to be able to resist them on that front.
