Summary

A white man was brutally attacked by a black man in the middle of a Macy's store. No one has been charged. Is this a hate crime? Or is this an isolated incident? Also, NASCAR has come out fully in support of a black driver who says that someone left a noose in his garage.

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, there's been a slew of assaults against white people recently.
00:00:05.280 Now, the media doesn't care about this at all, isn't paying any attention to it.
00:00:09.500 But more importantly, the crimes are not being charged as hate crimes. They're not being
00:00:13.360 considered hate crimes. Why is that? Why shouldn't they be hate crimes? We'll talk about that today.
00:00:17.860 Also, five headlines, including NASCAR coming out fully in support of the black driver who says
00:00:23.020 that someone left a noose in his garage. Now, there are several strange aspects to this story.
00:00:30.340 Is it a hoax? We'll talk about that today. And finally, in today's cancellation, I am canceling
00:00:35.340 Karen. Not Karen's, not a woman named Karen, but the Karen meme, the Karen thing I'm going to cancel
00:00:41.600 today. And I'll explain why all of that coming up. And we start with this. And first of all,
00:00:48.240 in fact, I did get this big, big, big moment. I did get my first presidential retweet last night.
00:00:55.360 Always an exciting moment, kind of a coming of age for conservative pundits when they get the
00:00:59.860 Trump retweet. And the post of mine on Twitter that Trump retweeted was this video, which we discussed
00:01:07.160 yesterday on the show. And let me play it for you again here.
00:01:09.660 That right there, as we talked about yesterday, is a white Macy's employee being brutally assaulted
00:01:34.300 by a black man in the middle of the store, which this happened a few days ago. The video shows the
00:01:40.480 assailant, his name's Demir Palmer, punching the man in the head, as you saw, as he crawls on the
00:01:46.940 ground, begging for Palmer to stop. If you're listening to this on iTunes, you don't have the
00:01:50.480 video. That's what you see there. The assailant's brother, who filmed the crime and posted it proudly
00:01:57.920 to social media, claims that the victim used the N-word prior to this assault taking place. Now,
00:02:02.860 even if that was true, that wouldn't remotely justify felony assault, but it isn't true.
00:02:07.640 Macy's investigated. They confirmed the attack was unprovoked. Also, the N-word claim is just
00:02:13.220 absurd on its face. A Macy's employee is not going to casually refer to his black customers as a racial
00:02:19.060 slur. If he was in the habit of doing that, he would have been fired a long time ago. Macy's is
00:02:24.180 not going to fall on the sword to defend an employee who uses racial slurs. That's just not something
00:02:29.920 corporations are going to do. Now, what actually happened from the looks of it is that the Palmer
00:02:36.780 brothers selected a victim based on his race, beat him mercilessly, and then slandered him.
00:02:43.500 They damaged him physically and then tried to ruin his life for good measure. If the hate crime
00:02:49.940 designation has any meaning, this should fit the bill. Yet to this point, no hate crime charges have
00:02:56.340 been filed. In fact, no charges of any kind have been filed. As I say this right now, there's been
00:03:01.260 that the guy who carried out the assault has not been arrested, even though it's on video. We have
00:03:06.820 it right there. And they know his name. Somehow hasn't been arrested. No charges at all as at all
00:03:13.260 have been filed so far because of that. It should be noted that a man who assaulted a Macy's employee
00:03:19.960 last year was charged with a hate crime, a somewhat similar situation, just in the fact
00:03:27.280 that it was a Macy's employee being assaulted in the store. And that person was charged with a hate
00:03:33.920 crime. But in that case, it's because he used anti-gay slurs during the attack. It's not clear to me
00:03:41.140 that the customer or the employee was actually gay. I'm not sure if he was or not. All it says in the
00:03:47.580 news reports is that the person carrying out the assault used anti-gay slurs. The prosecutor in the
00:03:52.700 case said that the attacker, quote, subjected the victim to offensive physical contact. And this was
00:03:58.300 done, quote, because of his perception of the victim's sexual orientation. Well, was this latest
00:04:05.280 Macy's assault not offensive physical contact? And was it not due to the attacker's perception of the
00:04:11.220 victim's race? How is one a hate crime and this isn't? Now, this unfortunately is not an
00:04:17.360 isolated incident. Recently, there's been a slew of horrific physical attacks against white people.
00:04:24.200 Last week, a group of black men attacked a white man in a gas station parking lot in Texas.
00:04:29.440 And this is all everything I'm talking about here. These are all on video.
00:04:32.400 They punched him. They knocked him to the ground. They stomped on his head when he was lying there.
00:04:37.880 Now, I'm not going to play all these videos for you because they're pretty violent and they're
00:04:41.500 disturbing. And I'm not going to force you to watch them if you don't want to. But you can go to my
00:04:46.580 Twitter feed and you can find them. I've linked all of them there. And I would recommend if you
00:04:51.800 think you can stomach it, just go. It's one of those things you have to sort of see for yourself
00:04:56.780 to understand the severity of the situation. In New York, a black man pushed a 92-year-old
00:05:05.420 white woman to the ground. She bashed her head against a fire hydrant as she fell. She was 92 years
00:05:10.440 old. No hate crime charges have been filed. She was going along on her walker down the street.
00:05:16.780 This guy walks by, just pushes her and walks away. In another attack against the elderly,
00:05:23.260 Jaden T. Hayden of Michigan, maybe you saw this video, he was repeatedly beating a 75-year-old
00:05:30.100 nursing home patient in the head as he lay helpless on his bed. Now, the interesting thing is that Hayden
00:05:37.620 has YouTube videos where he claims that, among other things, quote, the black race is supposed
00:05:43.020 to rule the earth. No hate crime charges have been filed so far in this case. But try to imagine
00:05:49.720 the same outcome if a white man with similar professed views about the white race, let's say
00:05:55.440 a white man who had YouTube videos saying that the white race is supposed to rule the earth.
00:05:58.720 And then if that man were to go and film himself brutalizing an elderly black man,
00:06:05.500 how quickly do you think hate crime charges would be filed in that case? Like within 10 seconds?
00:06:11.680 Maybe at the speed of light, they would come out? There are more examples. And in fact,
00:06:18.600 we'll get to those other examples in just a second. But before we do, this show today is brought to you
00:06:24.780 by Eero. You know, it's very frustrating when there's, you know, and a lot of people,
00:06:30.180 there's that one spot in your house that has better Wi-Fi than the rest of your house. Maybe
00:06:33.620 you have that. And a lot of times it's the one spot where you want to hang out and be and it
00:06:37.540 doesn't get the Wi-Fi. So now in my house, it's living out in the wilderness in the middle of nowhere
00:06:44.700 at the top of a mountain, which isn't quite exactly where I live, but still relatively out in the
00:06:51.100 woods. Pretty much the whole house is that situation. And that's why Eero is Wi-Fi that
00:06:57.080 your home deserves. It blankets your whole home with fast, reliable Wi-Fi, not just inside,
00:07:01.980 but also outside too. So you can go out, hang out on the porch. It's nice out. Eero extends your
00:07:05.960 coverage so you can enjoy the nicer weather and get work done from your deck. Eero eliminates poor
00:07:10.460 coverage, dead spots and buffering. You'll have a consistently strong signal wherever you need it.
00:07:14.400 Eero steps up, sets up in minutes. It's very easy to do. I've done it myself. You can plug right
00:07:18.680 into your modem or your router box and you can manage it from a very simple app. It's
00:07:24.220 just, it's extremely simple to do. And right now I've gone through this, I've set it up and I'm
00:07:29.560 enjoying, not in this house because this isn't where I live. We're just squatting here. I don't
00:07:33.140 know who lives here, but maybe I'll set up an Eero for them too. But in my house, we've set it up and
00:07:40.100 now all of our Wi-Fi problems are solved. You can get yours fixed as soon as tomorrow. Go to

00:08:02.100 All right. So other examples of these assaults that we're talking about. During the riots in Rochester a
00:08:07.980 few weeks ago, a white woman was attacked by a group of black men. She was punched in the face
00:08:13.460 repeatedly, beaten with a wooden board. In Ocean City, where violence has been rampant of late,
00:08:21.480 there have been several examples of this, but there's one video where a guy's sitting on a park
00:08:25.900 bench and is knocked out, knocked to the floor. Again, no hate crime charges. And hate crime charges
00:08:33.560 aren't the only thing missing here. There has been little public attention to or condemnation of
00:08:39.720 these attacks. In fact, I've been told that it's racist to even talk about them.
00:08:45.740 If you go to my Twitter feed and you see where I have these videos posted,
00:08:49.960 whether it's the Macy's one or the longer thread where I post all of the videos I just mentioned,
00:08:54.260 you find lots of people either outright defending felony assaults of white people or insisting that
00:09:00.100 I'm a racist for calling attention to it. And there's no explanation provided. They don't
00:09:07.980 explain why it's racist to point out when a white person is brutally assaulted. It's assumed that
00:09:14.660 we all understand. Like it's a given. But well, of course, that's racist. You can't do that.
00:09:21.240 Why can't you do it? No, you just can't. It's just not something you can do. That's all.
00:09:26.220 Just a few random examples. Here are some responses justifying the assault of the Macy's employee,
00:09:30.960 which you saw. Just just a few random responses on my page. One person says an eyewitness says the
00:09:38.420 black man asked the employee a question then became angry when the Macy's salesperson who was on his
00:09:42.840 phone used the N word when he got back to his call thinking he'd done so discreetly. So no,
00:09:47.380 it's not a hate crime. It's a guy angered by racism. So this is a person saying that that basically it's
00:09:55.000 okay because he was angry about a word that he heard. Now, as I've already said, that word was
00:10:00.420 not said. These guys made that story up. And it's very clear that they made it up. And the story is
00:10:05.400 absurd on its face. But regardless, you cannot beat a man to a pulp because you heard a word you don't
00:10:13.760 like. Now, someone else says he's clearly saying, I'm sorry, implying that he indeed said or did
00:10:22.460 something to result in getting punked like that, making the white guy a victim is far-fetched. I
00:10:27.680 know plenty of white men like this that pop off at the mouth and expect nothing bad to happen.
00:10:32.820 It's far-fetched. That video you just saw with a white man on the ground being pummeled,
00:10:39.160 it's far-fetched to say that he's a victim. Someone else says, firstly, three punches isn't brutally
00:10:45.820 assaulted. Second, if it was a white person beating a black person, I'm sure you will believe the black
00:10:50.500 person must have done something to deserve it and even go so far as to dig up past criminal records.
00:10:55.320 The problem, it's a problem no matter what we do. Oh, it's not brutally assaulted. That wasn't a
00:11:00.240 brutal assault. It's just a regular assault. It's just a standard assault. No problem there.
00:11:08.600 And then other stuff like that. Now, once again, the guy did not say the end where the story was
00:11:15.640 fabricated, but the idea that the assailant is entitled to commit felony assault because of a
00:11:23.640 bad word is lunacy. And it's all besides the point. The attack was unprovoked as were most of the attacks
00:11:31.180 that I just listed, yet no hate crime charges have been filed. Now, let me say that I am not
00:11:38.100 personally a proponent of the hate crime designation. I don't like it. I don't think the prosecutors can
00:11:44.320 look into a criminal's heart and accurately assess whether a crime was motivated by hatred or not.
00:11:51.160 I don't know how they can do that. They can't do it. And even if they could, I'm not sure why a crime
00:11:57.920 of hate should be considered any more severe than a crime of greed or jealousy or anger or boredom or
00:12:04.780 indifference. Is it really worse to shoot a man for his race than for his wallet? Haven't you treated him
00:12:11.500 as less than human either way? Haven't you killed him either way? Isn't he just as dead in both cases?
00:12:17.840 Isn't his family mourning him just the same no matter what? Now, the common argument, the common
00:12:23.040 response to that is that hate crimes have a special effect on the community and that they terrorize and
00:12:29.000 intimidate people. And so that's why there's a reason to respond, especially aggressively to them.
00:12:33.960 And it's true that an actual hate crime is going to terrorize the community. But then criminals who kill
00:12:41.500 their shoes or for the cash in the register also terrorize communities and intimidate communities
00:12:49.160 beset by such crime are often crippled by fear. If you live in a community like that, you don't even
00:12:56.620 want to let your kids leave the house. So I don't see much of a difference in that case either.
00:13:01.400 People might be crippled by fear and terrorized for different reasons, but they're still terrorized,
00:13:10.300 they're still in fear, and people are still dying. There's no reason to think that hatred is the worst
00:13:17.300 possible motivator for a crime. I would say that, in fact, that indifference to human life
00:13:22.340 is actually the worst. And it motivates the worst kinds of crime. Mass shootings,
00:13:30.080 many mass shootings, school shootings, serial killers, psychopaths. These are people who don't
00:13:37.700 care about human life enough to, you know, they don't care about human life enough to hate it.
00:13:44.920 Like, they're going to kill you, but they don't care about you enough to hate you.
00:13:47.820 You just mean nothing to them. They're indifferent to you. Totally empty inside. Killing just for the
00:13:53.380 fun of it. Just for the thrill. Now, that seems to me to be a reason to kill someone at least as
00:14:01.780 evil as hate. But then again, killing someone if it's not in self-defense or in defense of somebody
00:14:06.840 else is evil no matter what. And I'm not convinced that there can be a more or less evil reason to do
00:14:12.400 it. The whole conversation becomes absurd after a while. Yet this is what our justice system has
00:14:18.900 done. It's come up with a sort of tier system ranking the reasons to kill people or assault
00:14:24.560 people from worst to best. This is a really bad, this is a, you know, a bad reason, but not the
00:14:32.720 worst reason. And this is, this reason is a little bit worse. And this is the, the worst reason to do
00:14:36.620 it. It's ridiculous. And not only is that ranking system subjective, but the judgment of why someone
00:14:44.280 performed an act is also subjective. So this is subjectivity on top of subjectivity. And that's
00:14:50.900 why we shouldn't have the hate crime label at all, in my opinion. But if we're going to go down this
00:14:55.340 road, and if we, if we've gotten into the business of doling out special punishments for hate-based
00:15:01.740 crimes, and if we've assumed that prosecutors and judges have mind reading abilities, then equal
00:15:09.840 justice under the law means prosecuting crimes against white people with all the same gusto as
00:15:14.440 crimes against non-white people. And that's not happening here. And that's an injustice.
00:15:23.760 All right, let's move on to your headlines. Number one, as mentioned yesterday on the show,
00:15:29.040 NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace says that someone hung a noose in his NASCAR garage. Wallace,
00:15:34.180 of course, is black. The story has been reported everywhere. A huge deal has been made of it. It's
00:15:39.640 been reported as fact everywhere, just straightforwardly. The media, the headline saying a noose was found in
00:15:47.080 the garage. They're not saying allegedly, reportedly, it was claimed that, so on and so forth. None of
00:15:53.740 that just news was found. Yesterday at Talladega, the other drivers came together to push Wallace's
00:16:00.720 car to the start line in a show of solidarity. NASCAR itself has gone all in supporting Wallace,
00:16:07.420 rallying around him. Here's a video they put out today.
00:16:09.540 We want to stand with our friend and we want to stand with Bubba and that's what took place through
00:16:16.520 last night, this morning. And then as this idea came together today and started within the drivers
00:16:21.660 and then as the crew members caught wind that we wanted to push Bubba's car down and stand with him
00:16:26.280 during the national anthem. The teams wanted to get involved as well and you saw the support. It's pretty
00:16:30.740 amazing. This garage area is going to stand together stronger than ever as that message continues to
00:16:40.860 get sent. You know, I love you, man. We all do. Take care of yourself out there. Put us in a good
00:16:45.260 spot. Get yourself a deep breath. Get your mind right. Let's go shut these haters up. As Bubba Wallace
00:16:50.840 guns it from the inside with Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick. I'm proud to stand where I'm at.
00:16:57.980 Sport is changing. The deal that happened yesterday, I wanted to show whoever it was
00:17:05.580 that you're not going to take away my smile and I'm going to keep on going.
00:17:11.900 So Bubba Wallace is now famous and renowned. Whereas before, if you didn't follow NASCAR,
00:17:17.280 you probably hadn't heard of him. I hadn't heard of him. I haven't heard of really any NASCAR
00:17:20.860 drivers because I don't follow it. And he's being hailed as a hero for his bravery and standing up to
00:17:26.300 racism. He's put out a statement, several statements now, where he talks about how he's
00:17:30.040 not going to be intimidated. He's not going to back down. He's going to fight racism and everything.
00:17:33.960 Meanwhile, federal authorities are investigating the incident. But here's the weird thing. Still to
00:17:38.880 this point, we have seen no photo of this noose. Now, keep in mind, the noose was supposedly discovered
00:17:45.340 by one of Wallace's crew members. And that person saw it and then went and told Wallace. That's the
00:17:54.300 story we're given. But we know that the guy who found it obviously would have taken a picture.
00:17:59.920 That's the first thing you're going to do. Because for one thing, you want to show Wallace,
00:18:03.420 right? So he's going to take out his phone. He's going to take a picture. It's what anybody would do.
00:18:06.740 And yet we haven't seen this picture. That's kind of strange, isn't it? Why haven't we seen it?
00:18:13.780 Two days later and still no picture. Also, these garages at NASCAR races are under lock and key,
00:18:22.360 you know, highly restricted area, very tight security, cameras everywhere, right? This isn't
00:18:28.260 something that a fan can just wander into. So it's not like some random racist fan went in and did that.
00:18:34.000 It's not possible. So if it was done, if this was actually a hate crime, if somebody put it there
00:18:40.340 as a racist attack against Bubba Wallace, then it would have had to have been, you know, a NASCAR
00:18:46.080 employee or someone who works, you know, and someone who's on, someone officially involved,
00:18:51.000 someone employed would have had to do that, somebody with access. And this would also be someone
00:18:57.320 who would have known that they would be immediately found out because they would know about the
00:19:03.380 security. They would have had to go through all that security just to get to that area.
00:19:07.700 And so they would have known that. My question is, would an employee with access,
00:19:14.520 would they be so racist? Would they be so overcome with racism that they would sacrifice their job and
00:19:20.760 their livelihood and their freedom? Because they're going to go, they would go to jail for this if
00:19:24.060 they did it. They're going to sacrifice everything just to hang a noose.
00:19:29.380 I mean, even supposing that there's a NASCAR employee with access who is racist,
00:19:36.160 would he essentially commit suicide for the sake of this stunt?
00:19:40.240 Maybe so. Who knows? People are crazy. People do crazy things.
00:19:45.140 But still, there is the other explanation. And it happens that this other explanation
00:19:49.080 is what has explained almost every news story we've heard in recent years.
00:19:53.320 And that's that the story is a hoax, or at best, somebody misinterpreted what they saw.
00:19:58.900 And now they're just running with it. Because the thing is, with NASCAR doing that and coming
00:20:03.080 out in support, and they've got the drivers walking down the track and everything, they're all in.
00:20:07.520 They can't. It would be a total embarrassment to them if they were to come out and say,
00:20:13.600 oh, you know what, actually it was a hoax or it was misinterpreted. Not to mention, NASCAR is going
00:20:19.520 to be accused of racism, no matter what. Even if there is irrefutable evidence that this was all a
00:20:25.600 hoax or a misunderstanding, if NASCAR were to come out now and say that, they're going to be accused
00:20:31.460 of racism, and they're not believing a black man and all that kind of stuff.
00:20:34.740 So I think, very likely, if this was a hoax, we're never going to find out.
00:20:42.420 But also, we're never going to see a picture of this supposed news.
00:20:46.780 Number two, race hustler and all-around scumbag Sean King, who is, by the way, one of the worst
00:20:51.300 people currently living on planet Earth, is now inciting attacks on churches. Here's what he said.
00:20:56.380 Let me pull it up. A few tweets he sent out. He said, yes, I think the statues of the white
00:21:02.020 European they claim is Jesus should also come down. They are a form of white supremacy, always have
00:21:07.120 been. In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide and blend in, guess where they went?
00:21:11.560 Egypt, not Denmark. Tear them down. And then later, he also says, yes, all murals and stained glass
00:21:18.980 windows of white Jesus and his European mother and their white friends should also come down.
00:21:22.660 They are a gross form of white supremacy, created as tools of oppression, racist propaganda.
00:21:27.560 They should all come down. So this, of course, is the next step. First, the Confederate statues,
00:21:33.900 then Columbus, then founders, other presidents, then on to religious statues. That was always the
00:21:38.660 next step. Remember, this is a war on Western civilization. That's the objective here. It's
00:21:42.440 got nothing to do with racism whatsoever. These are people who hate Western civilization,
00:21:47.220 despite the fact that Western civilization gave them freedom, liberty, luxury, unimaginable to almost
00:21:54.000 everyone else who has lived on earth anywhere at any point in history, despite all that. They hate
00:21:59.880 Western civilization and they're tearing down whatever represents the foundations of our
00:22:06.700 civilization. Christianity is the foundation of the foundation. It lies at the very root of Western
00:22:11.380 civilization. So, of course, of course, that's next. There was never any doubt about it. And when they start
00:22:16.860 tearing down the Jesus statues, please don't be shocked. That was always going to happen.
00:22:21.720 Number three, speaking of tearing down monuments, Democrat politicians, of course, are
00:22:27.300 actively and explicitly encouraging these felonies. Here's the latest from Andrew Cuomo,
00:22:32.380 the governor of New York, and a man who, of course, consigned thousands of elderly people to their
00:22:37.680 deaths. Here's what he has to say about the monuments. President Trump mentioned in an interview
00:22:43.860 that he feels cities should take further action to stop monuments from being destroyed. We saw that
00:22:49.560 scene at the White House with the Andrew Jackson statue near the White House. We know, for example,
00:22:54.440 Theodore Roosevelt statue is coming down in New York City. Do you agree with the president's
00:22:59.600 guidance that cities should do more to protect monuments?
00:23:06.480 Yeah, I don't even know what the president's guidance is, Savannah, frankly. Cities are making
00:23:12.860 decisions. The Teddy Roosevelt statue, I think was less about Teddy Roosevelt, but the other parts of
00:23:20.780 that of that statue. And look, people are making a statement about equality, about community to be
00:23:29.500 against racism, against slavery. I think those are good statements. And it depends. Can you overdo it?
00:23:37.860 Of course you can. But in New York, I don't think we've overdone it. And I think that I think it's a
00:23:43.000 healthy expression of people saying, let's get some priorities here. And let's remember the sin
00:23:48.380 and mistake that these this nation made. And let's not celebrate it.
00:23:52.800 Oh, they're making a statement that slavery is wrong. Wow. Bold statement. Incredible statement.
00:24:00.460 Important statement. Slavery is wrong. I mean, this is really a statement that needs to be made.
00:24:06.160 Right. Because because, of course, the the popular view is that slavery is good. You hear it all the
00:24:10.760 time. Right. It's like every day you walk out of your house, there's someone coming up to you and
00:24:15.520 defending slavery. It's the mainstream view. Slavery is good. And so we really need brave rebels to come
00:24:22.420 out and say, no, nope. You know what? Slavery is wrong. I'm not afraid to say it. And can I just and I
00:24:31.340 want to say this right now myself and I want to be very clear about this.
00:24:39.020 I also believe that slavery is wrong and I am not afraid to say it. OK.
00:24:46.820 OK. So that's good. Healthy expression, Cuomo says. Notice here the infantilization of these
00:24:55.000 criminals that goes on. Cuomo sounds like a permissive parent justifying his toddler's
00:24:59.400 tantrums. It's a healthy expression, just part of growing up. You know.
00:25:06.600 This is what we call the bigotry of low expectations. And this is what this is what
00:25:10.540 we're seeing from Cuomo and all the Democrats. Trump, by the way, has has come out. He came
00:25:16.420 out today and said that he's authorized the federal government to arrest anyone who vandalizes
00:25:21.980 monuments or statues on federal property. And so he's authorizing that. Now, I have to admit,
00:25:29.380 I'm totally in favor of arresting people who are doing this. I've been saying that all along.
00:25:33.920 Arrest them. These are felonies, whether it's federal property or not. It doesn't matter where
00:25:37.640 it is. No matter what property is. OK. No matter where it is, if it's not your stature or your
00:25:42.100 monument, you are committing a felony because all of these things are worth way more than 500 bucks.
00:25:48.840 So. I agree with that. Yes, absolutely. Arrest the authorization part. I don't quite understand.
00:25:55.560 He says we're authorizing it. Well, this was already a crime. And law enforcement.
00:26:01.620 I don't think they need specific authorization from the president
00:26:04.460 to arrest someone for committing a crime. I don't think that's how it works. I'm a little
00:26:09.180 bit confused by that. Number four. But yes, let's arrest them, please. A Bloomberg reporter,
00:26:13.880 Stephen Dennis, reports. He says a day ahead of Trump's visit to Arizona, GOP Senator Martha McSally
00:26:20.400 proposes giving taxpayers four thousand dollars each to take a vacation. Couples would get eight
00:26:25.600 thousand dollars in vacation tax credits plus five hundred dollars per kid.
00:26:28.680 Um, the bill would pay for your food, beverages, lodging, transportation and live entertainment
00:26:34.440 events, including sporting events. So. All right. That would be for my family, I think ten thousand
00:26:42.360 bucks. I've never spent ten thousand dollars on a vacation in my life. I don't think I've spent that
00:26:48.500 much collectively in my whole life on vacations. But you know what? Can I just say this is not enough.
00:26:54.080 What if I want to fly first class with my whole family and stay in a Ritz-Carlton hotel and order
00:27:00.460 room service four times a day? This proposal wouldn't allow us to do that. It just wouldn't
00:27:05.720 be enough money, which is outrageous. This is a violation of my rights as an American and as a
00:27:11.700 human being. It basically erases my existence. It deprives me of what is rightfully mine.
00:27:19.000 And I won't stand for it. Finally, here's a video of a giant dead squid. Check it out.
00:27:26.000 Okay. I have nothing to say about that. I just thought it was interesting. That's it. If you,
00:27:54.620 if you wanted to see a video of a dead squid today, which I'm sure you did, you woke up this
00:27:59.380 morning, first thing you thought is, I wonder if there's any videos of dead squids. I hope Matt
00:28:03.980 plays one. There you go. I'm here to serve. We're going to move on to our daily cancellation. But I
00:28:09.980 want to tell you, if you're not already a Daily Wire member, you should consider getting a reader's
00:28:12.680 pass to dailywire.com. It's a great value, only three bucks a month. And when you sign up, you get the
00:28:17.360 first month for only 99 cents. And you also get access to our mobile app articles ad-free and access to
00:28:21.840 exclusive editorials. I put editorials out several times a week. My latest one, which you can see here,
00:28:30.440 is about this issue we've been talking about, about the assaults that are happening and running
00:28:36.640 rampant. And so if you want to read that, get that information, get a reader's pass, go to
00:28:40.780 dailywire.com, sign up for just a buck. It's that easy and that cheap. There's no reason not to do it.
00:28:45.420 Okay. Today, I'm going to cancel Karen. Not the people, but the meme. It's a meme that I have,
00:28:53.720 I'm sure you'll be quick to point out, indulged myself a time or two. But I'm tired of it. And we
00:29:00.920 know that with my cancellations, it is arbitrary according to my whim. And so once I tire of
00:29:06.780 something, it's canceled. Now, I might cancel because I'm tired of it. But then the next day,
00:29:10.980 I decide I'm not tired of it anymore. And then I'll uncancel it. I have that authority. I can do
00:29:15.560 that. I'm the canceller here, canceller in chief. But I'm tired of the Karen thing. And I'll tell you
00:29:20.500 why. First of all, what brings this to mind is a video that went viral today, which I'm not going
00:29:26.520 to play for you. But it's a black man who's filming, confronting a white woman who he says
00:29:33.460 flipped him off and called him a racial slur. And in the video, and so she, this happened while they
00:29:40.480 were driving. He follows her back to her house. In the video, she's crying and terrified because
00:29:48.040 he's putting her face on camera, following her, stalking her. He's at her house, outside of her
00:29:54.700 house. And he documents her license plate number and her home address and shows everybody what her
00:30:00.560 house looks like. Puts that all on film too. Puts it online, accuses her of racism.
00:30:07.100 Most of the people who are sharing the video are laughing about it, saying she's a Karen,
00:30:10.660 deserves to be publicly humiliated and doxxed because that's what all Karens deserve, right?
00:30:15.740 Meanwhile, this guy, the guy who filmed it, is openly racist against white people. He's an activist.
00:30:21.960 His Twitter handle is literally white people hate. That's how he advertises himself as someone who
00:30:29.280 hates white people. So he's a racist against white people, advertises it, is an activist,
00:30:33.880 BLM activist, has a history of claiming that white people call him racial slurs and trying to do this,
00:30:39.980 get him on video, clout chasing, as the kids would call it these days. So I don't believe his version
00:30:45.620 of events at all. But even if he's telling the truth, which he almost certainly isn't,
00:30:50.260 doxxing a random person in this environment is not justified. You could get somebody killed.
00:30:55.240 And this dude obviously doesn't care if he does. But this brings to mind the whole Karen meme,
00:31:02.700 which increasingly has become an excuse to intimidate and harass random white women.
00:31:07.560 It is, from what I've seen recently, it's taken a very aggressive turn. And it's become,
00:31:15.300 you know, it's not just laughing about, you know, a middle-aged white woman who's
00:31:19.000 calling the manager, or I want to speak to your manager. It's not just that. Now it's,
00:31:23.220 let's dox them. Let's harass them. Let's get them on tape. Let's, let's, you know,
00:31:28.440 accuse them of racism, try to ruin their lives. That's what's happening now. And here's my question.
00:31:35.480 Because the, the, I guess, insinuation is that the very fact that a woman is a middle-aged white
00:31:42.680 woman is justification in itself to treat her this way. But here's my question. Would it be considered
00:31:49.380 appropriate to take a stereotypical female name in another race and make a negative meme out of it?
00:31:57.760 You know, what if somebody mocked a, what if a white person mocked a non-white woman
00:32:03.660 by calling her a name that the mocker thinks is typical of women of that race?
00:32:10.020 Would that be considered funny? Just a good bit of fun? Just a fun meme we can all laugh about?
00:32:15.800 No, of course not. Of course not. It'd be, it'd be, it would be racist. It would be widely condemned.
00:32:21.840 In fact, someone who did that would, they would lose their job. They would lose their livelihood.
00:32:26.940 It's not just that people would be offended. It's not just about that anymore. It's never just that now.
00:32:34.420 If someone took the Karen thing, which for white middle-aged white women, it's, it's funny and
00:32:39.240 hilarious and let's all laugh about it. And if they did the same thing for a non-white woman,
00:32:43.160 they, they would lose their job. They would lose that. Their lives would be destroyed because of it.
00:32:50.080 And we all know that. So then why is this okay? I mean, really, why can you think of any reason
00:32:58.100 why the one should be not okay, but this should be okay? Is there any, can you come up with it?
00:33:05.060 Can you come up with any defense of this double standard short of just saying it's okay to be racist
00:33:10.100 against white people? That, that of course is the real answer. That's the honest answer.
00:33:16.280 So it's a double standard. And, and, and for, for those two reasons, I think it deserves to be
00:33:19.560 canceled. This is a struggle for me. Uh, this kind of thing I admit, because as I said, I have,
00:33:24.600 I have laughed about this joke at first I thought was kind of funny. I've laughed about it myself.
00:33:29.500 Um, and used it myself, but, and, and, and the thing is I'm not offended by stereotypical jokes.
00:33:38.680 Stereotypes don't offend me. I think most of the time stereo, the reason why it's a stereotype is
00:33:44.760 that it's rooted in truth. I've never heard a stereotype that is completely off base and has
00:33:50.700 no truth to it whatsoever. Maybe that stereotype exists. I just haven't heard it, but I personally,
00:33:56.160 I can't think of one, every stereotype, there's some truth to it. So the Karen thing, yeah,
00:34:01.260 there's some truth. Not, not every middle-aged white woman is like that, but, uh, there is a
00:34:05.660 certain stereotype of that sort of person who calls the manager, doesn't mind her own business,
00:34:10.940 so on and so forth. That, that does exist, right? So that's where the stereotype, stereotype comes
00:34:14.400 from. It doesn't offend me personally. If people make stereotypical jokes, I don't care. So I'm fine
00:34:20.260 with that. And I can laugh about it, but then there's the double standard of it too,
00:34:23.980 because I know with this kind of joke, even though it doesn't offend me, although now I'm
00:34:29.980 uncomfortable with the aggressiveness of it. So that would be enough reason in and of itself,
00:34:33.940 even without the double standard to cancel it. But even though I'm not personally offended by it,
00:34:39.380 I still don't like the double standard. And so that's always the struggle when, you know,
00:34:45.500 with the left, when it's, with its double standards, when, when, when, when people on the
00:34:49.160 left are doing and saying things that don't actually offend you, but you know, that if you
00:34:56.060 said that to them, they would break down in tears. That's the struggle because you think,
00:35:03.440 well, I don't want to act like I'm offended by something I'm not. And I don't want to act like
00:35:06.240 them. But at the same time, I don't know what am I supposed to just allow this double standard to
00:35:10.940 continue. So that's the balance that I haven't quite figured out how to strike. But I do know
00:35:19.200 that, that, that, that, you know, just, just allowing double standards without calling them
00:35:22.740 out is, uh, is not the right approach. And I think we've, I think we've tolerated it for far too long.
00:35:29.460 And I think that's what we have to settle on. Even if you're not personally offended by something,
00:35:34.040 when it comes down to it, we're not playing this game. We can't play this game.
00:35:37.280 If something is racist, it's racist. Period. If it's racist against someone of another race,
00:35:44.260 then it's racist against white people. That's, that's it. Even if I don't personally think it is
00:35:49.300 that if that's the rule now, then that's the rule has to be applied to everyone.
00:35:55.240 All right. So that's canceled and, uh, we'll leave it there. Thanks for watching everybody.
00:36:01.060 Thanks for listening. Godspeed.
00:36:03.020 We'll see you next time.
00:36:33.020 Lots of people get accused of saying the N word, but only some people get punished for it.
00:36:47.580 A prominent BLM activist calls for vandalism of churches and AOC steps in a racial minefield.
00:36:54.000 Check it out on the Michael Knowles show.
00:36:55.620 Thanks for listening to the Frisbee Newscasts.
00:36:57.620 Check it out.
00:36:59.380 I see you next time.
00:37:02.360 .
00:37:04.360 A proud- cansar.
00:37:06.120 Thanks for listening.
00:37:08.240 Let's see you next time.
00:37:10.280 Help!
