00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the Attorney General of New York is going after the NRA,
00:00:04.300 seeking to dissolve it for its alleged criminal conduct. And that brings up a good question.
00:00:10.120 Why hasn't any Republican AG done this to Planned Parenthood? Speaking of criminal conduct, also
00:00:15.140 five headlines, including Joe Biden accidentally being racist again. Plus, another actress issues
00:00:20.820 a tearful public apology. But the reason for this apology is possibly the most absurd yet,
00:00:28.380 which is quite a statement, I realize. All of that on the way. But we start here. Yesterday,
00:00:33.140 as mentioned, the Attorney General of New York made an announcement. A word of this impending
00:00:36.980 announcement made its way to the internet the day before, and leftists were beside themselves with
00:00:41.540 glee, hoping that it would be an announcement that Donald Trump was going to be arrested. Yes,
00:00:46.140 that's really what they thought was going to happen. What they got instead perhaps wasn't quite as good
00:00:51.200 as that, if you're a leftist, but still a nice treat, I suppose. Take a listen.
00:00:56.200 Just a few minutes ago, my office filed a lawsuit against the National Rifle Association
00:01:02.700 to dissolve the organization in its entirety for years of self-dealing and illegal conduct
00:01:10.980 that violate New York's charities law and undermine its own mission.
00:01:18.160 Yes, dissolve the NRA. That's what she's trying to do months out from an election. Dissolve the NRA.
00:01:22.860 Call me cynical, but this seems to be just a tad political. Just a tad, maybe. That's all. Just a
00:01:28.060 tad. Now, here's more from an NPR report. It says, Attorney General Letitia James claims in a lawsuit
00:01:33.620 filed Thursday that she found financial misconduct in the millions of dollars and that it contributed
00:01:38.540 to a loss of more than $64 million over a three-year period. The suit alleges that top NRA executives
00:01:44.400 misused charitable funds for personal gain, awarded contracts to friends and family members,
00:01:49.040 and provided contracts to former employees to ensure loyalty. Seeking to dissolve the NRA is
00:01:55.500 the most aggressive sanction that James could have sought against the not-for-profit organization,
00:02:00.880 which James has jurisdiction over because it's registered in New York. And that's why she's
00:02:07.820 thinks she can dissolve the entire organization. James has a wide range of authorities relating to
00:02:12.380 nonprofits in the state, including the authority to force organizations to cease operations or
00:02:17.140 dissolve. The NRA is all but certain to contest it. The NRA said in a statement that the legal action
00:02:24.620 was political. I think they're probably right about that. Calling it a baseless, premeditated attack
00:02:30.960 on our organization and the Second Amendment freedoms it fights to defend. We not only will not shrink
00:02:36.920 from this fight, we will confront it and prevail. Now, I have no real opinion personally about whether
00:02:44.880 the NRA is guilty of these things or not. I certainly am not going to take the word of the
00:02:49.260 Democrat Attorney General of New York, nor of the media when it comes to this. But, you know, I don't
00:02:54.360 know. I don't know what they've done or haven't done. What I will say is this. First of all, New York,
00:02:59.400 particularly New York City, is overrun with crime and violence. Crime and violence have risen
00:03:05.340 dramatically in recent months and are still rising. Okay, it's only getting worse. And it's been very bad.
00:03:12.100 It's only getting worse. Here's just to give you an idea. Here's the latest monthly report from the NYPD
00:03:16.620 as found on nyc.gov on the New York City government's website. It says for the month of July 2020, there
00:03:23.080 was a 177% increase in the number of shooting incidents across the city as the number of shootings
00:03:29.520 rose in all five boroughs of New York. The number of people murdered citywide increased 59% for the month,
00:03:35.680 while the number of burglaries increased 31%, and the number of auto thefts increased 53%.
00:03:42.200 And we should note that much of this has to do directly with failures of the justice system. That
00:03:49.280 is, with things the Attorney General could help fix and ought to be focused on fixing. Many of the
00:03:55.460 violent criminals wreaking havoc on the street are only out on the street to begin with because they've
00:04:00.240 been released by the courts and permitted to continue their campaigns of terror in these communities.
00:04:05.080 For example, a Brooklyn gang member was released without bail on an attempted murder charge.
00:04:10.100 And as soon as he got back into the community, he proceeded to participate in three drive-by shootings.
00:04:15.660 And here's just, here's the image from one of those. He did, he did three drive-by shootings after
00:04:20.760 already being in jail on an attempted murder charge, shot the guy in the back. Okay. So
00:04:25.360 clearly a man of true courage that we have here. And this kind of thing is not uncommon.
00:04:31.320 The point is that the Attorney General ought to have other things on her mind, other things to do
00:04:37.000 besides act out this vendetta against the NRA. But this is how Democrats operate. They are simply not
00:04:43.660 interested in the practical fulfillment of their actual job duties. This is why Democrat-run cities
00:04:50.620 across the country are in shambles. Least of all, are they interested in silly things like protecting their
00:04:55.900 communities and defending the innocent against violent criminal scumbags? No, they are interested
00:05:00.800 in their ideology and in acting according to their ideology and in staying loyal to the ideology at
00:05:07.580 all costs, no matter what. This of course makes them bad leaders. But one thing that I can say about
00:05:13.540 them is that for the most part, they really believe what they say they believe and they will act on it
00:05:20.000 or try to anyway. And this offers a stark contrast to Republicans who in most cases don't seem to
00:05:27.640 believe a single word of what they say, which is why they rarely try to actually enact conservative
00:05:33.320 policies or accomplish conservative goals. If they were interested in doing the right thing and the
00:05:39.560 right thing, capital R and lowercase r, then they would be going after Planned Parenthood the same way
00:05:44.340 the left is now going after the NRA. Dissolve the NRA? Well, whether there's been fraud or whatever in the
00:05:50.440 organization, I have no idea. What I do know is that the NRA has never directly killed anybody, despite the
00:05:56.640 way they're portrayed. Planned Parenthood, on the other hand, kills over 300,000 humans a year. 300,000 humans
00:06:04.940 a year. And they do it with the help of a half a billion dollars in tax money. Why don't we dissolve them?
00:06:10.000 Again, Planned Parenthood should be harassed and pursued constantly by conservatives the way that
00:06:17.740 the NRA is by leftists. Planned Parenthood certainly deserves it. And that is, to put the matter, I think,
00:06:24.740 quite mildly. Now, you can argue that, yes, they kill 300,000 human children a year and are thus one of
00:06:31.480 the most evil and destructive organizations to have ever existed on planet Earth. But sadly, it's legal.
00:06:36.940 So there's no basis to dissolve them or pursue them as a criminal organization. Well, don't worry.
00:06:45.920 Planned Parenthood commits plenty of crimes, too. Crimes against humanity, like the mass murder of
00:06:51.540 children, and also crimes according to the law books. Planned Parenthood has committed fraud, which is why
00:06:57.140 Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast had to pay $4.3 million in a lawsuit after being accused of fraudulently
00:07:02.680 fraudulently billing Medicaid over the course of several years. That's a crime. We talk about
00:07:08.620 fraud. Well, there you have it. Planned Parenthood employees across the country have also been caught
00:07:13.180 on undercover video multiple times over the years expressing a willingness to turn a blind eye to
00:07:19.200 rape and sex trafficking, as was revealed for just one example in a 2018 live action investigation.
00:07:26.020 And of course, speaking of undercover videos, Planned Parenthood executives and other employees
00:07:31.660 were documented on tape extensively by the Center for Medical Progress and Dave Delighton across many
00:07:38.520 locations trying to sell the butchered body parts of their human victims. That happened. It is on video.
00:07:46.680 You can see it for yourself. The videos were not doctored. They were not deceptively edited.
00:07:51.620 They were not. They show what they show. And what they show is both horrific and criminal.
00:07:57.820 Has the NRA ever dismembered a child and tried to sell its liver for profit to a science lab?
00:08:03.200 If so, I say dissolve them immediately. I'll be I'll be the first to stand and applaud
00:08:07.220 as you do it. But I don't think they've done that. Planned Parenthood has. Not to mention, again,
00:08:16.080 we can't forget the millions and millions and millions and millions of human beings that this
00:08:21.540 organization, this organization from the bowels of hell have murdered for profit. Yet they continue
00:08:29.100 unimpeded, not just unimpeded, but funded. Funded. And I'll have more to say about that aspect of it,
00:08:35.940 the funding, in just a second. But first, a word from our friends at LifeLock. You know,
00:08:42.480 cyber criminals are out there and they're always trying to get your information and they don't they
00:08:48.260 don't they don't take a break just because there's a pandemic. In fact, quite the opposite.
00:08:52.160 They're going to take advantage of the pandemic. A criminal scheme involving nearly 50,000 falsified
00:08:56.780 unemployment insurance claims have been discovered by Maryland state officials. The scam adds up to
00:09:01.620 more than 500 million dollars in claims. While it is capitalizing upon the hardships caused by COVID,
00:09:06.880 the fraud involved identity theft from previous security breaches. And Maryland isn't alone.
00:09:12.240 Other states are experiencing similar unemployment fraud. And that's why, you know, you have all
00:09:17.620 this information out there. Your information is exposed if you're using the Internet. And that's
00:09:24.920 why you have to do the responsible thing. Take care of yourself. Take care of your family, you know,
00:09:30.280 which is which can also be exposed. Every day we put our information at risk on the Internet
00:09:34.220 and you could miss certain identity threats by just if you're just monitoring your credit or something
00:09:40.000 like that and thinking that you're taking care of everything. There's a lot that you're going to
00:09:43.600 miss. And that's why there is LifeLock. LifeLock detects a wide range of identity threats like your
00:09:49.580 social security number, for example, being on sale on the dark web. If they detect your information,
00:09:54.780 they will send you an alert and you will know. Nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor
00:09:59.380 all transactions at all businesses. But LifeLock can see threats that you might miss on your own.

00:10:10.100 slash Walsh for 25% off. All right. So Planned Parenthood, on top of everything, it's not just
00:10:19.600 that they are allowed to continue doing these things. And it's not just that Republicans allow it to
00:10:26.640 continue, but that they are funded in doing it. That what they are doing is funded by tax money.
00:10:33.560 Half a billion dollars a year goes to them. And Republicans are responsible for that, in part,
00:10:44.420 have played an important role in that. I want you to imagine something for a second. Imagine for a
00:10:48.540 second that the NRA was funded to the tune of half a billion dollars a year by the government. Imagine
00:10:54.900 half a billion dollars a year from the government going to the NRA. Now, if let's say that were
00:11:04.420 happening and then Democrats were to take control of the House, Senate, and White House, how long do
00:11:11.820 you think it would take them to defund the NRA and pass a law forbidding any future funding? How long
00:11:17.920 would it take them? 30 seconds, a minute, five minutes at most? It would be the very first thing
00:11:23.780 they did. And they would do it easily. Okay. And yet, Planned Parenthood, 500 million dollars a year
00:11:32.780 for decades now. Republicans take control of the House, Senate, White House, and just continue doing
00:11:38.780 it. And they have their excuses, of course, which every once in a while, most of the time,
00:11:44.760 they don't even bother offering an excuse because nobody asks them. They can just defy their campaign
00:11:49.660 promises and reveal themselves to be total cowards and frauds. And there are no consequences at all.
00:11:54.440 It doesn't even come up. So they don't have to offer an excuse. But if they're asked about it,
00:11:57.440 they do have their excuse. Oh, the Democrats were stopping us. The Democrats who had no power were
00:12:01.820 stopping us. We couldn't do it. We just, it's not our fault. It's their fault. They could have done it.
00:12:07.880 They chose not to. Which meant that, you know, it's not just that Democrats are funding Planned
00:12:14.780 Parenthood and Republicans aren't stopping it. It's that Republicans were funding them. Republicans
00:12:19.280 chose to pass budgets, funding, taking money from you and giving it to Planned Parenthood.
00:12:26.900 And that is the essential difference between Republicans and Democrats. That right there.
00:12:33.580 You look at, you look at the way the Democrats treat the NRA. Okay. They say that the NRA is evil
00:12:41.820 and is responsible for millions of deaths. They're not right about that. They're wrong.
00:12:46.720 But the way that they actually act towards that organization, you could tell they really believe
00:12:51.220 it. Republicans would say the same thing about the Planned Parenthood. And in this case,
00:12:56.540 they're actually correct. Yet they don't act that way towards the organization. They say,
00:13:01.320 oh, they're killing babies and they're selling body parts. Here's half a billion dollars a year.
00:13:05.540 Enjoy. Ah, they're an evil organization. Speaking of frauds, the biggest one of all right there.
00:13:14.000 All right, let's go to our five headlines.
00:13:23.180 Before we get into the headlines here, you know, if you need auto parts, if you got to fix something on
00:13:27.780 your car or your truck or any other vehicle, you can go to the auto parts store, but why do that?
00:13:33.860 Just go to rockauto.com. It's so much easier than walking into a store and someone demanding quick
00:13:38.180 answers to questions that you might not know an answer to. And even if they do, you know,
00:13:42.220 they're going to end up going online, ordering the part because they're not going to have it.
00:13:44.780 It's a limited supply. Rockauto.com is at your desk. It's in your pocket. You carry it with you all
00:13:50.060 all the time, which means that you have in your pocket all the time, essentially millions of
00:13:55.460 different auto parts. Rockauto.com. So it must be really big pockets you have, I suppose. Rockauto.com
00:14:00.820 always offers the lowest prices possible rather than changing prices based on what they think the
00:14:05.500 market will bear or what they think they can sort of get out of you. They're not going to do that.
00:14:09.680 Rockauto.com, look, it's a family business, an honest business serving auto parts customers
00:14:13.260 online for 20 years. Go to rockauto.com, the shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of
00:14:18.660 manufacturers. Best of all, prices at rockauto.com are always reliably low and they're the same for
00:14:23.300 professionals and do-it-yourselfer. So you don't have to spend twice as much for the same parts.
00:14:28.220 Why do that? Twice as much for the same parts, twice as much sometimes for a worse, more limited
00:14:32.980 selection. The rockauto.com catalog is unique, easy to navigate, quickly see all the parts available
00:14:38.480 for your car or truck and choose the brand specifications and prices that you prefer. Go to
00:14:42.800 rockauto.com right now. See all the parts available for your car or truck. Write Walsh in there.
00:14:48.180 How did you hear about us, Box? So that they know that we sent you. All right, number one,
00:14:52.600 you've probably heard this by now, but let's play it again anyway, just for old time's sake.
00:14:56.780 What you all know, but most people don't know, unlike the African-American community with notable
00:15:02.060 exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different
00:15:08.060 attitudes about different things. Yes, there is Joe Biden suggesting for a very inconceivable reason
00:15:15.780 that black people are a monolith and they all think exactly the same. Now he posted a statement
00:15:21.840 last night clarifying those remarks, but the clarification doesn't really clarify anything.
00:15:26.300 This is what he says. Earlier today, I made some comments about diversity in the African-American
00:15:30.860 and Latino communities that I want to clarify. In no way did I suggest or did I mean to suggest
00:15:36.660 that the African-American community is a monolith, not by identity, not on issues, not at all.
00:15:42.140 Throughout my career, I've witnessed the diversity of thought, background, and sentiment within the
00:15:46.500 African-American community. It's this diversity that makes our workplaces, communities, and country
00:15:50.740 a better place. My commitment to you is this. I will always listen. I will never stop fighting for
00:15:53.960 the African-American community, and I will never stop fighting for a more equitable future.
00:15:58.500 See, that's not really a clarification because he didn't explain just exactly what he was trying
00:16:03.660 to say with his original comment. That's what a clarification clarifies. It makes clear what was said
00:16:08.860 before, but that doesn't do it because what he said in the original comment was unambiguous. He
00:16:15.840 straight up said that the black community is not diverse. He was claiming that all black people
00:16:21.420 think alike. This is not the first time he said that. Remember, famously, he said that if you don't
00:16:28.060 vote for him, you ain't black. This is a common theme that he goes back to. It doesn't even need to be
00:16:36.520 said, but I'll say it anyway. Just imagine the reaction if Donald Trump said any of that.
00:16:44.840 Okay? Donald Trump is constantly accused of saying racist things. I can't think of an example of
00:16:53.600 something that Donald Trump has actually said publicly, is confirmed to have said, that approaches
00:16:59.760 just these two examples in terms of racism. I can't think of anything that gets near it.
00:17:07.780 Speaking of Donald Trump, by the way, President Trump came out yesterday also with an attack on
00:17:13.640 Biden that I thought was pretty notable. Let's listen to that.
00:17:18.140 No religion, no anything. Hurt the Bible, hurt God. He's against God. He's against guns.
00:17:25.760 He's against energy, our kind of energy. I just love the pause there. Hurt the Bible, hurt
00:17:32.880 God. He's going to hurt God. He's going to kick God in the shins and stomp on his foot, hurting God.
00:17:45.840 I see this. I think about yesterday where you had Biden out there saying that black people all think
00:17:54.580 the same and then Trump saying that Biden's trying to hurt God. And I see that and I get really sad.
00:18:00.120 And I'll tell you why I get sad. Because I think of what we're missing by not having a real campaign
00:18:05.520 season. Because this isn't a real campaign season. We're almost certainly not going to have debates.
00:18:10.140 They're not doing campaign speeches. They're not out and about doing all of that. Especially Biden is
00:18:16.580 not. So it's not a real campaign. Can you imagine, though, if we had a real campaign season with
00:18:21.420 these two, how hilarious it would be? It's already pretty funny, even without it. But if these guys
00:18:28.680 were out in front of people every day, giving speeches, speaking live, and constantly upping
00:18:35.700 the ante and throwing accusations at each other, that would be spectacular. And we are missing that.
00:18:42.140 I think what we saw yesterday was just a shadow of what could have been. It's a little morsel
00:18:47.620 of what could have been had we if we had a real campaign season. I mean, you could always argue,
00:18:55.120 of course, that it's not actually funny at all, because this is the future of our country at stake.
00:18:58.200 But we are very much in a laugh or cry situation. And so sometimes I choose to laugh because crying
00:19:05.620 on camera would be rather unseemly. Number two, hundreds of teachers gathered in New York yesterday
00:19:10.560 to protest plans to reopen. Let's take a look at that scene.
00:19:26.480 Yes, they were carrying a coffin. There was also a guillotine. Coffins and guillotines is what they
00:19:33.960 brought. Now, if it were up to me, we would just fire all of these pathetic, useless cowards.
00:19:42.220 You're marching through the street with a coffin, weeping, because you have to go back to work after
00:19:46.980 five months. My God, you pitiful clowns. And you know something? I guarantee that every single one
00:19:56.040 of those people. Every single one. They've all been to Target. They've all been to fast food drive
00:20:02.980 throughs. Many other businesses. They've ordered Amazon pickup. You know, something tells me. I don't
00:20:10.540 think they've been living by, you know, self-sustaining gardening and maybe going for hunts
00:20:16.880 in the woods. I don't think that's how I think they've probably been living a relatively normal life
00:20:21.680 as much as possible. So the point is they have no problem with those employees being back at work.
00:20:30.160 The Target cashier, they got no problem with her being working.
00:20:34.520 They have no problem with sending the Target employees to the guillotine by their own logic.
00:20:38.840 They're fine with that. But them? They have to work? Them? Oh no, they're teachers. You can't make
00:20:45.840 them work? These are hallowed, sainted heroes. Hallowed, sainted heroes that don't want to go
00:20:53.260 to work and provide an education because they're scared. Real heroic. So I guess I should issue my
00:20:59.180 own clarification. I said that the teachers were protesting reopening. They weren't protesting
00:21:03.480 reopening anything but schools. They're fine with everything else being open and everybody else
00:21:08.160 working, just not them because they're special. Number three, the actress Maddie Ziegler, who I've never
00:21:14.660 heard of, but apparently, well, she's an actress. She has now apologized for racially insensitive videos
00:21:22.140 that she made. And she said in her apology, quote, I know some of you are hurt and may not accept my
00:21:27.940 apology. And then she also said she was ashamed and truly sorry. And she goes on apologizes, a lengthy
00:21:34.360 statement apologizing. And this is why I should probably mention that she's apologizing for supposedly
00:21:42.120 racist videos that she made when she was nine years old. Nine. She is 17 now. So that was eight years
00:21:51.340 ago. At the age of nine, she made, quote, racially insensitive videos and now has been forced to
00:21:57.020 apologize. All I'm going to say about that is if you, as an adult, have ever been hurt by insensitive
00:22:06.620 comments from a nine-year-old, then you need to consult a psychologist about your undiagnosed
00:22:12.340 mental illnesses. Assuming, now maybe Maddie Ziegler, I don't know anything about this, maybe she
00:22:19.420 just on her own decided to come out and apologize. If so, then fine. But if this was precipitated
00:22:24.540 by any sort of pressure from anybody who had their feelings hurt by eight videos from eight years ago of
00:22:33.000 a nine-year-old, then yes, I would say seek psychological care. Okay, number four. A few days ago, I showed
00:22:39.600 you that picture of Jerry Falwell Jr., Liberty University president, on a yacht with his pants unzipped
00:22:45.640 and his shirt pulled up, standing with a woman who had her pants unzipped and had her shirt pulled up.
00:22:51.180 And he appeared to be holding an alcoholic beverage. And it all sort of appears to be not exactly the kind
00:22:58.860 of thing that the president of a conservative Christian school would want to, especially a
00:23:04.200 conservative Christian school that expels kids for drinking and acting, just like is portrayed in that
00:23:08.180 photo. Not the kind of thing he'd want to post on social media, but he did post it and then he took
00:23:12.060 it down, but of course it was too late. Now, a couple of days later, this clip, but I'll play for you in a
00:23:17.780 second, supposedly of Jerry Falwell Jr. calling into a morning radio show and explaining himself, started
00:23:24.280 making the rounds. And I swear to you, I heard this thing and I really assumed right away that it was
00:23:30.180 fake, that it was some kind of morning radio, you know, morning zoo gag or something, or someone calling
00:23:35.180 in pretending to be Falwell. But apparently, according to Politico and other outlets, this is real. This is
00:23:40.800 really Falwell. And this is actually from a news talk radio show in Lynchburg, Virginia, where Liberty
00:23:47.360 University is located. And it's also a longer interview where he talks about other random things. So yes,
00:23:52.320 this appears to be actually real. This is actually Falwell Jr. calling in. And this is what he has
00:24:01.140 to say. Listen to this. What was up with that picture on Instagram? You know, it was weird because
00:24:06.120 she couldn't, she was, she's pregnant, so she couldn't get her, she couldn't get her pants up.
00:24:10.900 And so I was like, trying to like, my, I had on a pair of jeans that I haven't worn in a long
00:24:18.220 time. So I couldn't get mine zipped either. And so I just put my belly, I just put my belly
00:24:24.440 out like hers. And it was just, um, she's my wife's assistant and she's a sweetheart. And I should
00:24:33.260 never put it up because it embarrassed her because, um, anyway, I I've apologized to everybody and I
00:24:42.120 promised my kids, I'm going to try to be, I'm going to try to be a good boy from here on out.
00:24:46.860 Okay. He, he sounds extremely intoxicated to me. Is it just me or, or does he not sound very drunk in
00:24:54.140 that? But on a weekday morning calling into a radio show, he sounds very drunk to me. I don't
00:25:02.860 know if he is. I can't say that, but he really sounds it to me. I mean, I'm going to be a good
00:25:09.720 boy. This is a 58 year old president of the most prominent, supposedly conservative Christian school
00:25:18.440 in America. After that photo, he calls in a few days later, I'm going to be a good boy.
00:25:29.340 I couldn't get my pants zipped up that this is how he responds. And this again is the president
00:25:35.600 of a Christian university. It's the, it's embarrassing. And they have a board of trustees
00:25:42.000 at Liberty university. They need to dump this guy. They need to get rid of him because he's an
00:25:45.040 embarrassment to the school and to the Christian faith and always has been, to be honest with
00:25:49.720 you. Uh, and he's just a disgrace and he needs to go. All right. Number five, Stan Van Gundy,
00:25:56.440 former NBA coach, current NBA announcer, uh, posted this to Twitter, trying to justify speaking of a
00:26:01.660 disgrace, the NBA submission to China, uh, and their silence in the face of Chinese atrocities.
00:26:07.680 This is what he said. He said, we committed genocide, we committed genocide against native Americans.
00:26:12.900 We have enslaved, lynched, segregated, and incarcerated blacks over 400 years. Women couldn't
00:26:19.340 vote for 140 years using abuses elsewhere to try to distract from our own poor record on human rights
00:26:24.860 is dishonest. Now, of course, the irony here is that he is, he's saying others are using abuses
00:26:31.080 elsewhere to distract from things happening. He's using abuses from hundreds of years ago to distract
00:26:36.920 from abuses that are happening right now today, um, in, uh, in, in China. But all I really wanted
00:26:44.440 to say here is, you know, he says we committed genocide against native Americans. We've enslaved
00:26:48.940 and lynched, uh, uh, black people. Well, what I'd say to Stan Van Gundy is listen, Stan, uh, if you have
00:26:59.260 committed those crimes, then you need to turn yourself into the authorities immediately. I appreciate you
00:27:06.080 confessing to it and accepting some accountability, but the real accountability for you as some, I mean,
00:27:11.600 you're confessing here. You've said that you, I mean, we, that includes yourself. So you've said
00:27:14.960 that you have committed genocide and you've enslaved and lynched people. Uh, you, you need to contact the
00:27:22.280 FBI and turn yourself in immediately. Now me personally, I've never done any of those things. I haven't done
00:27:30.560 anything close to any of those things. Nobody in my family has even done any of those things.
00:27:37.840 So I am 100% innocent of all of those crimes. I don't know who the, we is here. It certainly isn't
00:27:45.200 me. So you're, you're, you're being a little bit, uh, so there's some, you're being vague here. I'm not
00:27:50.340 exactly sure, but, but whoever it is, whoever your accomplices are in this, I, you all need to turn
00:27:56.260 yourselves in and face justice. Um, so that's, that's all, that's all I can say about that. That
00:28:03.100 is a, that is a stunning admission and confession from Stan Van Gundy. I'm surprised it's not getting
00:28:09.080 more, more coverage. We're going to go to our daily cancellation, but first I want to tell you
00:28:12.780 about our most exclusive membership tier over at Daily Wire, which is all access, all access
00:28:16.740 memberships features behind the scenes, access to live streams and discussions with your podcast
00:28:20.900 hosts, myself included, as well as earlier, sometimes exclusive access to Daily Wire products.
00:28:27.140 As part of that, we launched our brand new limited count collector's edition baseball bat in
00:28:31.380 collaboration with Pillbox Bat Company. Only a hundred bats were made engraved with the individual
00:28:35.680 number in which they were produced, uh, from one to 100. Now this is the crazy part. These bats were
00:28:40.680 only offered to all access members and they were sold out in two days. So if you don't want to miss
00:28:45.620 out on exclusive products and offers, you should really join all access at the Daily Wire. You'll also
00:28:50.540 get exclusive access to live online discussions with hosts, writers, and special guests, along with
00:28:55.220 joining all access live, our exclusive live stream Q and A's hosted every night. Uh, lastly, you get not
00:29:01.740 one, not one, but two, I don't have a second one here. Uh, not one, but two leftist-tears tumblers with your
00:29:13.420 membership. So go to dailywire.com slash mulch. Mulch. My last name is mulch. Dailywire.com slash
00:29:22.620 walsh with coupon code, all access to get 20% off your membership. They call me mulch. What can I say?
00:29:29.980 Finally, for our daily cancellation, uh, just a quick one today as we, uh, as we get into, into the weekend,
00:29:35.640 uh, or quick to actually, both of these are defensive reverse cancellations, which is something that I do
00:29:42.280 every once in a while. It's somewhat of a rare spectacle. It's a rare treat, the cancellation
00:29:47.060 deflection. I'm going to be canceling those in the audience who have tried to cancel me
00:29:52.480 for some of the things I've said this week on the show. Primarily, I'm going to cancel the people who
00:29:58.720 wanted to cancel me for our discussion earlier in the week about voting. And I said, if you, if you
00:30:05.340 heard that show and if you didn't hear the show, cause you weren't listening, then you're canceled for
00:30:08.800 that. But I said that the problem with voting is not that the turnout is too low. It's, it's,
00:30:14.120 it's, it's that the turnout is too high. Too many people are doing it. There should be fewer voters,
00:30:19.920 not more. Voting should be more difficult, not easier. Voting should be a privilege exercised by
00:30:27.580 the qualified, not a universal right given to any non-contributing moron who happens to wander into
00:30:34.740 a polling station, uh, on, on, on a particular day or send in a ballot via mail. Now, I guess now,
00:30:41.120 obviously people were upset about this for many reasons, but the main thing, the main group I want
00:30:46.160 to cancel actually are the people, the conservatives who told me, and I got this a lot that I might be
00:30:52.480 right. And, uh, it might be true that, that we should have laws in place, ideally excluding
00:30:57.700 unproductive and ignorant members of society from voting. Um, but we shouldn't be talking about that.
00:31:06.620 This is not a discussion we should be having right now because it's not popular. It's not
00:31:10.220 politically expedient. And so it's, it's a dumb thing to be arguing for or bringing up. It's those
00:31:16.240 people with that attitude, especially who I'm going to cancel because this is the theme of the show,
00:31:22.020 right? Talking about the difference between left and right. Um, here's, here's another difference.
00:31:26.020 Leftists, uh, they have big, crazy ideas all the time and, and, and they have no problem articulating
00:31:35.060 them and arguing for them. Think about the green new deal. Okay. And we on the right had a lot of
00:31:41.580 fun with that, but it's, it's a smart move to put, to put that out there, to argue, to argue for the
00:31:49.660 most extreme thing you can. And part of the, part of the strategy there is, is if you, if you argue for
00:31:55.880 the most extreme thing, then you settle on something that's still pretty extreme, but not
00:32:01.360 as extreme, it seems like a compromise. It seems like you're being reasonable. But I think the real
00:32:07.100 point of it is to, is to get the idea out there. And that's what leftists do. They get the idea,
00:32:11.900 the ideals out there. Uh, they make the argument for what they ideally think society should look like.
00:32:19.780 This is what leftists are talking about all the time. We know what their ideal society looks like.
00:32:27.140 It's pretty horrific and dystopian. Uh, it's not a society that I want to live in,
00:32:33.400 but it's a society that we're becoming. And part of the reason for that is because they have a clear
00:32:38.240 vision for every aspect and facet of society. And they say, this is what it ought to be.
00:32:44.440 I think conservatives often counter that with no vision. What exactly, if you're a conservative,
00:32:51.920 what do you think society should look like? How should all these things, don't tell me what you
00:32:57.600 think it will look like, or what's, what's the most practical, most reasonable thing to, to strive
00:33:03.120 for, or the most reasonable goal. But no, no, in your ideal world, what does it look like? What is your
00:33:09.560 ideal vision? The left has their ideal vision and they put it up against nothing or just a whole
00:33:18.000 bunch of, uh, practical compromises that the right makes. So what I'm talking about here, no, do I,
00:33:25.160 do I actually think with voting that, uh, that anytime soon there are going to be these laws in place?
00:33:30.500 Of course not. But it's a good idea to have, to, to, to have a, a vision, um, for what voting
00:33:37.960 ideally would look like, how it ideally would operate, what it actually is, what it's for. I mean,
00:33:45.720 that's what I'm getting at here. No, this is, I, I'm not claiming that this, this is practical, uh,
00:33:53.100 advice or something that's really going to happen anytime soon.
00:33:55.680 But it's a question of what is voting really? What is it? What do we even have it for?
00:34:03.640 Once again, the left, they have their answers to those sorts of questions. What is this for?
00:34:08.220 What are we supposed to have this for? They have an answer. Their answers are wrong,
00:34:10.980 but they have it. The right doesn't have answers a lot of the time. So what is voting for? What's
00:34:17.400 the point of voting? Is the point of voting just to give literally every single person a chance
00:34:25.640 every single person, no matter what in America, you know, an equal say in, in, in the direction of
00:34:32.140 the country is, is, was that the original idea? Is that, does that make sense? Is that best for
00:34:38.140 the country? Is that how the country should work? I say no. No, I think voting is something that is a,
00:34:47.200 is a, a great responsibility, a great privilege, but it's not for everybody.
00:34:54.040 As I said, if you are, if you are ignorant of the basic facts of how our system works,
00:35:01.880 if you don't know anything about that, you're not paying attention. If you're not a productive
00:35:05.620 member of society, then it's not for you. Great thing is it could be for you. You, those are all
00:35:10.460 things you can change anytime. And if you do welcome, but until that time, um, you shouldn't be voting.
00:35:18.420 So that's it. It's an, it's an, it is an idealist sort of argument, but those are the kinds of
00:35:24.020 arguments that we should be making. And then finally, uh, what was the other one that I was,
00:35:28.500 okay. Oh yeah. Uh, so slightly less important, but I also wanted to cancel the people who tried
00:35:32.340 to cancel me yesterday because I had never heard the term, uh, thought. And I'm still not sure if
00:35:38.920 I'm pronouncing it T H O T. I still don't know if I'm pronouncing it right. I don't know if the H is
00:35:43.600 supposed to be silent or not, but T H O T. I encountered that yesterday on the show. I had
00:35:48.120 never heard of it. Uh, there were many people making fun of me for that. Many cancellation
00:35:53.600 attempts personally hurt my feelings, first of all, but now I know that it means that hoe over there.
00:36:01.080 And, um, you know, when I, when I heard that I was pleasantly surprised because,
00:36:06.620 and I, you know, I, I honestly couldn't sort of believe that the youth of today have, uh, a gardening
00:36:16.800 term like that, you know, that they have gardening lingo. I thought was, uh, was, was pretty impressive.
00:36:24.040 And gardening is a, uh, a very fruitful pastime. So, so I was pleasant. I, you know, I'm thinking I'll
00:36:32.740 probably go to Lowe's this weekend and drop that lingo on the outdoor sales associate. Just so he
00:36:38.800 knows, just so he knows that I'm, you know, I'm hip. All right. Uh, so you're all canceled and
00:36:44.720 that's it. We're going to cancel the show now, at least for the, at least for the week. Have a great
00:36:49.060 weekend, everybody. Godspeed. If you enjoyed this episode, don't forget to subscribe. And if you want
