The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 541 - Child Executed While Riding Bike. National Media Ignores. Here’s Why.

00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Wall Show, one of the most horrific murder cases in modern history has

00:00:03.560 gotten zero, and I really do mean zero, coverage from the American national media.

00:00:07.840 The reason? Well, the victim is a white five-year-old child. The alleged killer is a

00:00:11.240 black man. But this case deserves attention, and we will give it attention today on the show.

00:00:16.160 Also, five headlines, including BLM activists claiming now that looting is okay because it's

00:00:20.960 a form of reparations. And in our daily cancellation, I'll cancel all the leftists

00:00:24.380 who are currently celebrating over a woman being chosen as Biden's VP. Apparently,

00:00:28.680 these leftists have forgotten that women don't exist anymore, according to them. 1.00

00:00:33.000 So I'll have to remind them of that rather technical problem today on the show. But first,

00:00:38.620 let's talk about LifeLock. Listen, you can't believe everything you see on the internet,

00:00:42.740 in case you didn't know that, especially when you get a random email that seems suspicious.

00:00:46.900 Fraudsters have been trying to capitalize these days by sending messages through social media

00:00:51.440 and emails, trying to get consumers to fall for a scam that uses Cash App. The message,

00:00:56.560 the way it works is it offers free money via the app to help people through a difficult time.

00:01:00.960 However, the link in the message is fraudulent and malicious, and it could steal money. It could

00:01:05.900 steal your personal information. And this is just one example of a scam. There are many more scams.

00:01:11.980 There are millions of scams out there. And you might think you're too smart to fall for it,

00:01:15.240 but scammers have ways of getting your info no matter how smart you think you are. That's why you

00:01:20.500 need to protect yourself with LifeLock. Because the fact is, every day, we might not want to think about

00:01:24.500 it, but we put our information at risk on the internet. You could miss certain identity threats

00:01:28.700 just by, you know, if you're monitoring your credit or something like that, you're going to miss

00:01:32.300 some stuff. Good thing there's LifeLock. LifeLock detects a wide range of identity threats,

00:01:37.120 like your social security number being for sale on the dark web. You also have access to a dedicated

00:01:41.180 restoration specialist. If you do have a problem, then you're going to have that resource,

00:01:45.700 and that's going to help you in one of those cases. No one can prevent all identity theft or monitor

00:01:51.980 all transactions at all businesses. LifeLock can see threats that you might miss on your own.

00:02:03.760 slash Walsh for 25% off. Okay. Now we have to talk about this horrible case. It's a story that

00:02:13.880 shocks the conscience. Even amid all of the death and atrocity in the world, it stands out and sticks

00:02:21.000 with you. Five-year-old Canon Hinnant was murdered in cold blood this past Sunday while out riding a

00:02:26.300 bike in front of his father's house. The alleged killer, Darius Sessoms, was witnessed walking right

00:02:32.960 up to the child, putting the gun to his head, pulling the trigger. An execution, point-blank range

00:02:38.500 of a small child in front of his sisters who were also playing outside at the time. Sessoms, a demon 1.00

00:02:44.700 spawned straight from hell if he is guilty of this crime, initially fled the scene but was caught

00:02:50.240 hours later. It's still not known why he allegedly committed this unspeakable atrocity, though at

00:02:55.840 one level, of course, it doesn't matter. It's a hideous evil, no matter the motivation behind it.

00:03:00.720 But you can't help but ask why when you hear about something like this, especially when you realize

00:03:04.840 that Sessoms was the next-door neighbor to the child's father. And according to some witnesses,

00:03:10.480 he had just been over for dinner the night before. So I suspect there will never be a completely

00:03:16.260 coherent answer to the why question, and this is the very definition of a senseless act.

00:03:22.940 But now a beautiful, joyful child has been taken from the world, most importantly from his family,

00:03:29.220 from his parents, and the hole that is left in his absence will never be filled. That's one thing we

00:03:36.200 know for sure. Here's another thing we know for sure. The name Canon Hinnant would be known across the

00:03:43.560 country, and the name Darius Sessoms reviled the world over if the races were reversed. A story of

00:03:49.920 a white man running up to a black child and executing him while he rode his bike would be 0.88

00:03:55.920 front-page news for weeks. And we all know this. And there would almost certainly be rioting spurned 0.96

00:04:00.980 on in part by the incessant coverage. We know that. Instead, this story has gotten almost no coverage

00:04:06.580 by the American national media. And when I say no coverage, I really mean no coverage. I think a visual

00:04:12.220 here will be instructive. As of this morning, when I last checked, a search for Canon Hinnant turned up

00:04:18.020 zero results with the New York Times, zero with the Washington Post, Reuters, Yahoo News, NBC News,

00:04:26.080 ABC News. A search on CNN also turned up no results, though Google does direct you to an article by WRAL,

00:04:33.260 a local news channel in North Carolina. APnews.com does have a little blurb about it, but you have to

00:04:38.920 really search to find it. It's a few sentences long and, of course, doesn't make any mention of

00:04:42.380 the races of the people involved. Now, I should note that in the next few days, some of these

00:04:47.580 outlets may follow suit and do what the AP did and put up their own little blurbs. If they feel some

00:04:52.700 pressure for not having covered it, they may just cover the base to say they did and then move on

00:04:57.920 quickly. Or maybe they won't. Maybe they'll say nothing at all. Either way, the point is clear. This is not

00:05:02.640 something they want to talk about. So far with this case, we have one of the most thorough and

00:05:09.940 remarkable blackouts of a story that I've ever seen, certainly since Gosnell, anyway.

00:05:15.740 Now, it's easy to anticipate the excuses that will be offered, and in some cases have already been

00:05:21.060 offered for this outrageous disparity. It'll be claimed that, for example, Canon's execution is not

00:05:26.420 newsworthy because it was carried out by a civilian, not an agent of the state.

00:05:30.000 Not an agent of the state. But Ahmaud Arbery was killed by a civilian. So was Trayvon Martin.

00:05:35.280 They're both household names. It'll be argued that this crime wasn't racially motivated,

00:05:42.240 which is supposed to make it less relevant to the general public. But even if I agreed with the

00:05:46.400 premise that non-racially motivated crimes aren't as relevant, and I don't agree with that premise,

00:05:54.920 but even if I did, and even if it's true that Canon's murder wasn't motivated by race,

00:05:59.140 and we don't know that at this point, this argument still doesn't wash because Michael Brown was not

00:06:04.420 a racially motivated killing. Neither was Freddie Gray, or Eric Garner, or George Floyd, or really

00:06:09.860 any of the famous homicide or alleged homicide cases from the last decade or so. None of them have had

00:06:15.560 any established and proven link to racism, yet these victims are all also household names.

00:06:22.200 Now, as a last-ditch attempt at obfuscation, it'll be said that, well, this crime isn't on video,

00:06:27.260 thus making it less sensational and giving less viral potential to it. And it's sad if murder is

00:06:33.180 looked at that way these days, as content to be consumed. But I can see that this is, in fact,

00:06:39.440 how the media views the subject. But there was no video of Trayvon Martin. There was no video of

00:06:44.260 Freddie Gray. And on the other side, I can think of plenty of sensational murders that were caught on

00:06:48.860 video, yet received very little coverage. Daniel Shaver, the white Arizona man killed by cops while on

00:06:54.440 his knees begging for his life. The worst cop shooting that has been caught on video, hands

00:06:59.960 down. Or how about Brittany Hill, the black Chicago mother gunned down by gang members while holding 1.00

00:07:05.300 her baby. It's one of the most shocking crimes ever to be caught on camera, and yet very little media

00:07:10.440 interest in either of these cases. There simply is no explanation for the way these various incidents

00:07:16.740 are treated other than the most disgraceful and infuriating one. The national media is specifically

00:07:22.760 interested in fueling a certain racial narrative, and they will make the intentional editorial

00:07:28.940 decision to blacklist or downplay any story that interferes with it. Brittany Hill was ignored because 0.51

00:07:35.160 she was killed by men with the wrong color skin. The silence around Cannon Hinton's name is even more

00:07:41.500 deafening because he was killed by a man with the wrong color skin while also himself having the wrong

00:07:47.040 color skin. We cannot be so jaded that we don't stop to really focus on this and consider it

00:07:52.680 for the horror and the outrage that it is. The national media doesn't care that Cannon Hinton

00:07:58.220 died, was killed, and doesn't want you to care because he was white. It is that straightforward, 0.92

00:08:06.760 that sick, that evil. There is no way around it. It is the truth. It is undeniable.

00:08:12.200 The lesson that we take from this, I think, is crucial. Our reality is curated. We live in the

00:08:19.160 information age, but information is not the same thing as knowledge. Even less is it perspective.

00:08:24.480 Even less is it wisdom. To have information, to be informed, is merely to be made aware of certain

00:08:30.760 events and certain facts, and perhaps only in bits and pieces. But we have confused information with

00:08:36.840 knowledge, which means that the people giving us information also give us the illusion of knowledge.

00:08:42.180 They sift through the events of modern society, pulling bits from here and bits from there,

00:08:45.820 presenting pieces of different puzzles, but never the full picture. And then we, many of us anyway,

00:08:51.440 as Americans, take all of those pieces and imagine that we know something about the world. So if the

00:08:56.720 national media only ever tells us about white-on-black killing, and only very carefully selected

00:09:02.320 facts about those killings, and they flat out refuse to acknowledge the existence of black-on-white

00:09:07.960 killing, or if they have to acknowledge it only in a dismissive way, and certainly never,

00:09:11.720 ever, ever, ever in the context of any kind of larger trend, then we'll begin to think that we

00:09:17.400 know something. And what we know, we think, is that America is a racist country where black people 0.99

00:09:21.680 are being hunted and killed, and the reverse almost never happens because white people are protected 0.98

00:09:26.360 by their privilege, and by the racist institutions that elevate them while oppressing everybody else.

00:09:31.640 This is the picture the media wants to present, wants us to see, by forcing a bunch of random pieces

00:09:39.820 from other puzzles together. The narrative is all that matters. It is the prime directive, the only

00:09:46.860 thing that is ever considered when deciding what not to cover, what to cover, and how to cover it.

00:09:53.040 And that is why Cannon Hinnant, despite being a precious and innocent young child, savagely cut down

00:09:58.560 in broad daylight while riding his bike, looking forward to starting kindergarten. That is why he

00:10:05.040 will not be memorialized, or mourned over, or talked about, the way that George Floyd was.

00:10:11.960 That doesn't change the fact that this is a great, unimaginable tragedy, and it is an injustice that

00:10:19.260 commands our attention, no matter what CNN says, or more precisely, doesn't say about it.

00:10:26.480 Let's go to our five headlines.

00:10:35.380 Before we talk about these, you know, it's really important to be prepared before an emergency hits,

00:10:40.060 because once the emergency is upon you, it's a little bit late to get prepared there,

00:10:43.720 then, and that's why you need ReadyWise. As you probably already know, our sponsor,

00:12:20.100 exciting news, folks. I mean, I don't really care, but some people do, so it's exciting for some

00:12:26.520 people. I'll have more to say about this in the daily cancellation. For now, let me just echo the

00:12:30.780 sentiments expressed by other people that this pick seems like perhaps the worst of all worlds

00:12:37.020 for Joe Biden. She's from a state that Biden was already going to win. She doesn't have an enthusiastic

00:12:44.240 fan base. She's hated by a lot of people left of center and right of center, a bit like Hillary in 1.00

00:12:50.540 that regard. So I'm not sure what the upside is here, other than the fact that she checks the box.

00:12:56.920 She's a minority woman. She checks the box. And since Biden announced ahead of time that he's 0.93

00:13:02.600 going to pick a woman and that he especially wants to pick a minority woman, well, he can't claim now,

00:13:07.800 although he's going to try to, but can't really claim credibly that she got the job because she

00:13:12.740 was the best fit for it. He already announced that he was ruling out most people because of their

00:13:18.860 demographics. So this is a check the box type of pick, and he told us that ahead of time.

00:13:25.400 But as I said, there'll be more to say about that in a daily cancellation. Number two,

00:13:29.720 the country of New Zealand, one of the most remote inhabited landmasses on earth,

00:13:35.060 a tiny island nation with a few million residents, a few airports, a few international airports,

00:13:39.980 and with its closest neighbors being Australia, the most sparsely inhabited continent on earth,

00:13:45.780 and Antarctica, an uninhabited continent. So we're talking about that New Zealand, just to be

00:13:51.680 specific. That's the New Zealand we're talking about here, okay? Not any other. And this country

00:13:56.760 has been put forward as a coronavirus success story and a model for the rest of us to follow.

00:14:03.200 And sure, we could follow the New Zealand model. All we have to do, first of all, is uproot our 0.98

00:14:07.340 continent and place it somewhere in the middle of the Pacific. I don't know. We need to be floating

00:14:11.920 out there with no one else around us so that we can even begin to be in the same position as New

00:14:17.840 Zealand. But here's the problem. New Zealand is now having a surge of new cases. And in response,

00:14:24.000 they're shutting down their cities again, going into lockdown, considering postponing their election.

00:14:30.000 And there are people flocking to the grocery stores again, panicking. Here's some of that footage.

00:14:34.460 Watch this. Now, here's the kicker. The surge in new cases that I just mentioned, four people,

00:14:53.900 four in one family. And as far as I know, none of the cases are fatal.

00:14:58.540 Four people, four non-fatal cases in the entire country. And they're shutting everything down

00:15:06.600 and panicking like that. So what can we take from that? For one thing, they're terrified because

00:15:11.940 they have zero herd immunity, which makes them more susceptible, which is a good argument against

00:15:16.680 the lockdowns. But for another, this is how New Zealand is handling it. If anyone anywhere gets

00:15:23.860 diagnosed, they panic and shut down their whole society. And so when someone puts forth the New

00:15:30.280 Zealand model, that's what they're suggesting we do, that we stay locked down until there are

00:15:37.280 literally zero cases. And as soon as another case pops up again, we shut down again. Number three,

00:15:44.520 a Black Lives Matter organizer in Chicago has come out in defense of looting on the basis that it is,

00:15:50.420 she says, reparations. Take a listen. I don't care if somebody decides to loot a Gucci

00:15:56.880 or a Macy's or a Nike because that makes sure that that person eats. That makes sure that that person

00:16:03.440 has clothes. That makes sure that that person can make some kind of money because the city obviously

00:16:07.920 doesn't care about them. Not only that, that's reparations. That is reparations. Anything they

00:16:15.120 want to take, take it because these businesses have insurance. They're going to get their money back.

00:16:19.540 My people aren't getting anything. Anything you want to take, take it, is her quote.

00:16:26.760 Imagine as a sane human actually aligning yourself with that. Actually, you know, being on the same

00:16:34.260 side as people who openly state that they have a God-given right to take anything they want from

00:16:40.800 anybody. So if you're aligning yourself with Black Lives Matter, the organization,

00:16:46.000 this is what you're aligning yourself with. Is that really what you, do you really believe that?

00:16:51.380 You think that people have the right to just take whatever they want from anyone?

00:16:56.900 Now, okay. So first of all, we've got a few competing assertions here. Looting is okay because

00:17:03.060 people need the stuff because they're starving, or is it because they have a right to it because of

00:17:08.280 its reparations for atrocities that were committed against other people 150 years ago? It seems like it

00:17:13.120 has to be one or the other, right? And either way, of course, it's lunacy. And the idea that people

00:17:17.940 have to steal armfuls of purses and shoes from designer stores because they're hungry. 0.65

00:17:23.980 What are they going to do? Eat the shoes? What exactly is happening here? It's, again, lunacy.

00:17:29.680 And it's probably pointless to spend much time explaining why this is, because if you hear an

00:17:34.720 assertion like that, and you actually find it persuasive, you are so far gone psychologically

00:17:45.300 that there's probably no argument I could ever present to you to convince you otherwise.

00:17:49.340 So let's move on. Number four, there have been a number of attacks already launched, ads and things

00:17:55.560 launched against the Biden-Harris ticket. All of the attacks warranted, some of them more effective

00:18:01.720 than others. Let me give you an example. This one just came out. This is an example of an effective

00:18:06.440 attack against Biden-Harris. Watch.

00:18:11.560 Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the most extreme pro-abortion ticket in American history and the

00:18:17.040 agenda to prove it. A pro-abortion Supreme Court and abortion on demand, even at nine months up to 0.73

00:18:23.500 the moment of birth, all with your tax dollars. So extreme, Biden and Harris believe babies who

00:18:29.760 survive abortions should be left to die. Disturbing views, troubling policies. Joe Biden and Kamala

00:18:36.340 Harris are pro-abortion fanatics. Women Speak Out PAC is responsible for the content of this

00:18:40.940 advertising. I've been saying this forever. This is a winner for Republicans. Exactly what you saw

00:18:46.820 there. And this is true. These are pro-abortion extremists. Joe Biden is a pro-abortion extremist.

00:18:52.940 Now, he might not really be in his head. I think he probably knows in his own mind that a child five

00:19:02.440 seconds before birth is a human being or five seconds after conception is also a human being.

00:19:08.040 He probably knows that in his head, just like he knows in his head that men can't get pregnant. 0.99

00:19:12.560 But he's pretending that he doesn't know these things because he is beholden to the far left.

00:19:17.040 And Kamala Harris, especially on these issues, really is authentically a far leftist. This is

00:19:23.200 a winner, okay, to point out that they are extremists. This is not something. Supporting,

00:19:28.980 you know, killing babies fully developed in the womb who are viable outside of the womb, 0.97

00:19:35.700 that is not a mainstream position. It's among pro-abortion people, it might be. But among

00:19:43.580 just the general population, it is not. And so this is absolutely something that should be put

00:19:50.080 front and center. And I think that's a great ad. Okay, number five, finally, I have to tell you,

00:19:53.440 I was really thrilled to see this article in Vice as a member myself of the arachnophobia community,

00:19:59.520 as someone who has that disability. I'm tired of being marginalized and excluded from society.

00:20:06.640 And Vice is coming to my defense. Here's the article. It says,

00:20:08.820 spiders are a popular video game monster. They're also an accessibility problem. The developers of

00:20:15.080 Grounded, which is a video game, I guess, made spiders the big enemy of their new game,

00:20:19.800 then suddenly realized a bunch of people were too scared to play it. They decided to find a real

00:20:23.880 solution. And then there's this editor's note. Look at this. Editor's note, there are no images of

00:20:28.620 spiders in this piece because this is a story about a phobia we have decided to avoid, including any

00:20:33.180 imagery that might trigger it. So this is sort of like an anti-trigger warning. It's a trigger

00:20:38.860 warning that there are no triggers. Okay, great. Let's go to the article. It says, when you first

00:20:42.400 start Grounded, a stylish new survival game from RPG developer Obsidian, where shrunken players

00:20:47.680 explore a backyard full of unexpected dangers, the game asks a surprising question. Are you afraid of

00:20:52.720 spiders? The game informs players, quote, the game contains spiders that are often much larger than

00:20:57.460 the player. If you're super not okay with that, you can enable arachnophobia safe mode in the

00:21:02.620 accessibility options. This is a visual-only setting that does not affect gameplay or difficulty.

00:21:08.140 And from there, it's, going back to the articles, it's from there, it's super easy to jump in and

00:21:12.320 move the slider to change and deform the look of the game's spiders from something monstrous into

00:21:17.260 blobs with two bulging eyes. A small but important touch, you don't even have to see the original design

00:21:22.740 for a spider. The game forces the player to enable spider preview. And then, okay, this article goes on

00:21:31.140 for a long, long time. This is a very long article. And talking about the accessibility problem of,

00:21:39.760 for arachnophobes, people of the Iraq community. Iraq, not Iraq. That's what we call ourselves,

00:21:46.880 I just decided. And the problem is we're excluded from games that have scary spiders.

00:21:52.880 And this is something that has really plagued me, especially as an avid gamer myself.

00:21:57.540 But, fortunately, video game developers are finally addressing the problem, and I'm very

00:22:02.000 grateful for that. But this is obviously, this is what I wanted to say. This is only a first step.

00:22:06.580 Yes, we can eradicate spiders from video games, but what about on the rare occasion that a gamer

00:22:12.920 leaves the house? You know, what if it's that monthly or bi-monthly journey out of the house?

00:22:19.300 There are spiders everywhere outside. Have you seen outside? It's horrifying. There's little

00:22:25.280 bastards spitting their webs everywhere. No respect for your personal space. Everywhere you go, they're 1.00

00:22:29.600 trying to catch you in their webs. They're trying to, you know, crawl into your ear, lay eggs in your

00:22:34.560 brain. I mean, this kind of stuff happens. So my issue is I am not able to participate in existence,

00:22:42.380 really. I'm not able to participate in life in general, at least not to the fullest extent,

00:22:48.300 because spiders are out there, and they're super scary, and they have too many eyes.

00:22:54.400 Just far too many. It's weird. It's not right. So something has to be done for my community so

00:23:00.100 that we can really be full participants in society. The video game is paving the way,

00:23:05.520 but what about everywhere else? Now, here's some suggestions. You could start by,

00:23:09.740 first of all, giving us all earplugs so that the spiders can't get in. That'd be a good place to

00:23:15.320 start. We could talk about, you know, some kind of plan to hunt down all the spiders and exterminate

00:23:20.300 them. A genocide of spiders, if you will. Or in lieu of that, I mean, listen, if you want to just 0.98

00:23:26.120 give me some money for my pain and suffering, I don't know, maybe 10, 15 million a year from

00:23:34.260 taxpayers, that might help ease my fears and heal my wounds before the spiders can crawl in.

00:23:44.260 So these are all things we could talk about, but I'm glad, I'm just glad that we are finally having

00:23:48.900 that conversation. It's an important conversation. Speaking of important conversations, let's move on

00:23:53.640 to our daily cancellation. Today for our daily cancellation, we're going to be canceling everybody

00:23:57.420 on the left celebrating the Kamala Harris VP pick, because they can't celebrate it. It doesn't make

00:24:01.980 sense for them to celebrate it. But you see, this is a common problem. One of the most prominent

00:24:07.040 characteristics of leftists in modern America is their complete inability or unwillingness

00:24:10.920 to apply their principles consistently, especially in their personal lives. Now you see stark

00:24:15.920 illustrations of this problem provided, for example, by the climate alarmist who warns of an impending

00:24:20.580 apocalypse but still maintains a 401k, the pro-abortion zealot who congratulates a pregnant woman 0.76

00:24:26.820 despite believing her to be infested by a subhuman parasite. Of course, there are also the well-worn

00:24:31.300 examples of the socialist tweeting about the pitfalls of capitalism on his iPhone, the progressive

00:24:36.420 politician preaching about the evils of guns while flanked by a squadron of armed security. So all of

00:24:40.840 that. It seems that, you know, if not for cognitive dissonance, many on the left would not have any

00:24:44.940 cognition at all. Nowhere is this dynamic more obvious and glaring than in the arena of gender.

00:24:53.040 Leftist gender ideology contradicts itself in so many places that you feel yourself nearly going insane

00:24:58.120 just trying to make sense of all of it. And I think that's by design, by the way.

00:25:02.120 It's not one coherent theory, but a chaotic web of declarations and doctrines, each asserting itself

00:25:08.040 without any apparent awareness of the others. One example at random. We're told that sexual

00:25:14.220 orientation is immutable, cannot be changed, right? We're also told that gender is fluid

00:25:18.840 and can easily be changed. These two things cannot be true at the same time. If a gay man decides to 1.00

00:25:26.680 identify as a woman, then either we must say that he is no longer gay since he's now a woman attracted

00:25:31.040 to a man, or he is not actually a woman. If he's no longer gay, then sexual orientation can be changed.

00:25:37.220 If he's not actually a woman, then gender is not fluid. See, there are only three options here. Either sexual 0.53

00:25:41.860 orientation cannot be changed, and neither can gender, or sexual orientation can be changed,

00:25:49.600 and so can gender, or sexual orientation can be changed, but gender cannot be changed. Any of those

00:25:56.260 are logically possible, though only one is scientifically and factually correct. But the theory that sexual

00:26:02.340 orientation is immutable while gender is fluid is a logical impossibility. Somebody making such a claim 1.00

00:26:09.340 might as well defend the inherent roundness of rectangles, or the fundamental dryness of water.

00:26:15.840 It is logically contradictory. It cannot be true. The leftist confusion about gender, and about what

00:26:22.580 their own view on the subject is supposed to be, has been especially on display ever since Joe Biden,

00:26:27.060 of course, announced Kamala Harris, like we talked about, as his pick for vice president.

00:26:30.820 There are other, you know, funny and hypocritical things about the pick, too, of course, such as the fact

00:26:34.700 that Harris will now be working under and subordinate to a man that she tearfully denounced as a racist not 0.60

00:26:40.420 even a year ago. But the greater point is that the media's ecstatic reaction to a woman VP pick

00:26:47.160 is belied by the rather serious problem that women don't technically exist, according to leftist ideology. 0.96

00:26:54.960 According to them, the word woman has no discernible meaning. A woman is not necessarily a person with XX

00:27:00.720 chromosomes and female reproductive organs. A woman is not defined by anything physical, nor

00:27:05.940 neurological, nor psychological, nor behavioral. A woman is not defined by anything.

00:27:13.280 Which is to say that a woman isn't anything in particular. Woman, by the light of the left's 0.99

00:27:19.440 philosophy, is an arbitrary concept. It has no substance. It is not objective. It can mean anything

00:27:25.760 and be anyone. If you think I'm overstating the case here, then just approach any leftist

00:27:31.480 currently extolling the woman vice presidential nominee and simply ask them what they mean when

00:27:35.880 they say woman. They will not be able to answer the question. They cannot define the word, and I mean

00:27:42.900 literally cannot. Their ideology won't allow it. Now, if you do pose this question, you know, the eternal

00:27:49.340 question that I have been posing to leftists for years now, the most likely response will be a deflection

00:27:54.540 accusing you of being a transphobe or whatever, but, you know, of course not actually answering the

00:27:58.780 question. You may, however, be presented with some kind of attempt at an answer. So let's go through

00:28:05.600 a couple. Here's a common one, one that I've heard many times. A woman is an adult human female, which,

00:28:11.220 yes, this part is correct. This is the actual answer. You win the prize. Congratulations. Adult human

00:28:15.640 female. That's what a woman is. But then they'll continue. An adult human female or anyone who identifies as 0.99

00:28:22.640 an adult human female. Now, our coherent and correct definition has been thrown into chaos. Because this

00:28:29.360 definition is just another way of saying that a woman is an adult human female or not an adult human female.

00:28:34.960 Woman has no definition if that is the definition. A thing cannot be what it is and also what it isn't. This is 1.00

00:28:42.760 like saying that a tree is a tree or anything that looks like a tree. So a drawing of a tree actually isn't a

00:28:49.820 drawing of a tree because it is the thing that it's a drawing of. That makes no sense. A similar

00:28:55.540 problem for people who say trans women are women. Okay, then why do you call them trans? What does

00:29:00.660 the trans part denote? Is there, in fact, some notable difference between trans women and non-trans

00:29:07.140 women? If so, then the two groups are fundamentally different. But if you say they are not fundamentally 0.99

00:29:12.540 different, then it doesn't make any sense to differentiate them the way that you already do in the

00:29:17.420 way that you refer to them. So none of this makes any sense. You might also be told that words like

00:29:22.680 woman and man are on a spectrum. Okay, then tell me about this spectrum. What is on either side of

00:29:28.860 this spectrum? Define the people who exist on the extreme ends of the woman side and the man side. 0.99

00:29:36.560 If someone is on the spectrum between man and woman, what does that mean? Between what and what?

00:29:42.200 See, you can't escape the definition problem by talking about spectrums. If the spectrum takes us

00:29:47.460 from one undefinable thing to another undefinable thing, then it is not a spectrum. It is more like

00:29:54.120 a black hole where all sense and reason and the very laws of science break down into nothingness.

00:30:00.080 So what exactly does a man mean when he says, I identify as a woman? What is a woman? Is a woman in the

00:30:07.340 end just anyone who enjoys feminine things or dresses in a feminine way? Well, that can't be

00:30:12.840 it because we can't define feminine until we have defined the word woman. The definition of feminine

00:30:17.080 is hinged on the definition of woman. Also, this definition would turn a lot of women into non-women 1.00

00:30:21.820 and a lot of non-women into women. Besides, the left has been trying to break down the societal 1.00

00:30:25.880 constructs of feminine versus masculine for years now. Surely you can't go from not all women should be

00:30:31.040 expected to be feminine to the only defining characteristic of womanhood is femininity. 1.00

00:30:37.120 So what is a woman? They have no answer. As leftists, though, they are obliged to celebrate 0.94

00:30:43.880 the achievements of women, even as they are obliged to also deny the objective existence of women. 0.88

00:30:49.480 This is the paradox that we are expected to pretend we don't notice. But we should notice it.

00:30:54.900 Because it reveals the basic incoherence of leftist gender ideology. It is, it's not, see,

00:31:02.600 this is what I want people to understand. It's not just scientifically wrong. It is scientifically

00:31:07.720 wrong. It is also logically impossible what they are, the things that they are asserting and contending

00:31:16.180 make no logical sense. And that's the most important part of this.

00:31:22.020 Um, and because of all of that,

00:31:25.900 they're canceled. Who am I, I guess the left in general I'm canceling. Sort of redundant. I cancel

00:31:32.120 them every day, but just to be clear. Canceled again on the Matt Wall Show. And we're going to

00:31:36.800 leave it there on that note. Have a great day, everybody. Godspeed.
