The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 556 - The Pathetic Moral Cowardice Of The NFL And NBA

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the NFL and NBA pretend to take a stand for social justice,

00:00:04.600 but it's all an act. They have always run from every opportunity to help fight for real justice.

00:00:09.740 So we'll talk about that. Also, five headlines, including Nancy Pelosi becoming the latest

00:00:13.760 Democrat politician to break the lockdown rules. But it's OK because, you know, she's important.

00:00:18.800 And in our five headlines, I'll cancel all of the white adherents to the critical race theory cult 1.00

00:00:23.800 who are running around begging forgiveness for their inherent racism. I got a couple pretty

00:00:28.800 hilarious but sad examples of that to play for you. That and plenty more to discuss on the show

00:00:33.700 today. But first, a word from LifeLock. If you're on the Internet every day, as I know you are because

00:00:38.380 you're on it right now, then you leave yourself wide open to the bad guys who might want to get

00:00:43.480 your information, steal it. This is especially a problem now with with the increase in cyber

00:00:48.540 learning. You know, it's really important, especially to protect your kids. And that's

00:00:52.280 why you need LifeLock. You've got to make sure that their personal information is safe as there are

00:00:57.040 risks involved, especially with using mobile devices. Remember, you know, a couple of tips

00:01:01.560 here to review the security settings and privacy policies for any social media sites they use

00:01:05.520 and caution against checking in with their apps to announce their location like your apps are

00:01:10.100 always asking you to do. Make sure they don't do that. Most of all, make sure they're not sharing

00:01:14.060 any sensitive or personal information online, including anything that can help a cyber criminal

00:01:18.700 steal their identity. Listen, what it comes down to is this every day we put our information at risk

00:01:24.740 on the Internet and you could miss certain identity threats by just monitoring your credit.

00:01:29.880 That's why there is LifeLock. Nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at

00:01:36.000 all businesses, but you can find out if your information is on the dark web. Get your free

00:01:41.260 dark web scan at LifeLock.com slash Walsh. Pick the plan that's right for you. So it's up to you. You can

00:01:46.580 save up to 25 percent off your first year. That's a free scan at LifeLock.com slash Walsh and 25 percent

00:01:53.580 off. Again, LifeLock.com slash Walsh. Okay, so two months ago, Drew Brees was a superstar athlete who

00:02:02.340 had managed to pull the rare trick of being famous, successful, and universally beloved. The latter

00:02:09.000 being by far the most difficult feat of the three. But then the New Orleans Saints quarterback stated

00:02:14.280 publicly and correctly that protesting during the anthem is disrespectful and that it's better to stand

00:02:19.700 together and, quote, show unity. And this unleashed a torrent of criticism which Brees withstood

00:02:25.820 courageously for all of 24 hours before folding like a beach chair and apologizing profusely for

00:02:31.440 his defense of unity and patriotism. And these days, Brees can be seen running around the practice field

00:02:36.320 with the name of an accused rapist and serial abuser who was shot after assaulting police officers 0.70

00:02:41.500 taped to his helmet. His transformation from a beloved and admired sports star to a sad,

00:02:47.460 capitulating, pathetic pawn is complete. Now, Drew Brees was once considered a face of the NFL. 0.93

00:02:55.800 And by displaying this utter lack of moral fortitude and by rallying behind an accused domestic abuser

00:03:01.380 and sex predator, he has proven that he still is a face of the NFL. The NFL, like the NBA, has many faces

00:03:07.920 and together they create a collage that forms the appearance of a gelatinous sea creature,

00:03:13.960 something with very thin skin and no muscle and no spine. In recent months, and especially since

00:03:22.420 the shooting of Jacob Blake, both sports leagues have been engaged in all manner of publicity stunts

00:03:27.500 designed to make them look like they care about racial justice. And of course, you know, fans of the WNBA

00:03:33.700 would have seen similar theatrics if those fans, well, existed. But the Baltimore Ravens, just as

00:03:40.960 an example, Baltimore Ravens issued a statement shortly after the Blake shooting, you know, a day

00:03:44.780 or two later, declaring, despite a total lack of evidence and context, that the police officers are

00:03:49.660 murderous racists. Now, it's interesting that the Ravens were far quicker in responding to the shooting

00:03:54.500 of a guy in Wisconsin than they were in responding to their own player beating his wife in a hotel elevator.

00:04:00.720 That was Ray Rice. You may remember that. And, you know, historically, the NFL has done an abysmal

00:04:06.100 job of enacting justice within its own ranks, often allowing abusers to continue collecting game

00:04:12.220 checks until public pressure forces them to take action. But, you know, suspending your own star

00:04:17.420 players or expelling them from the league entirely is a real and meaningful measure that might cost them

00:04:23.900 money and bring bad publicity. It's much easier to paint end racism onto the field, which is what

00:04:28.940 they'll be doing in every stadium this year, and allow your players to wear the names of alleged

00:04:34.040 police brutality victims on their uniforms. Because these measures are performative,

00:04:39.200 self-congratulatory, and achieve absolutely nothing of value. In other words, they're exactly what we've

00:04:45.360 come to expect from the NFL. We've also come to expect them to steadfastly support abusive and

00:04:50.660 violent men like Jacob Blake. It's what they've been doing, after all, for decades. Now, Seattle Seahawks

00:04:56.960 coach Pete Carroll did his part in the fight for truth and justice by appearing on late night with

00:05:03.360 Seth Meyers wearing a shirt that said equality. Well, that'll do it. Later, he delivered what we're

00:05:09.820 told by the media was a raw and impassioned speech about racism. You know, it's funny how these raw and

00:05:16.060 impassioned speeches about racism always seem to be delivered exactly when raw and impassioned speeches

00:05:21.480 about racism are what everyone expects and demands of you. But whether or not it was raw and

00:05:26.980 impassioned, there was certainly nothing bold or brave or honest or important in Carroll's long

00:05:32.820 lecture to his fellow white people. Bold, honest, brave, important. That would have been a call for

00:05:37.760 the public to withhold judgment about police shootings until the facts are known. If he really

00:05:42.960 wanted to be brave, he would have come out fully in support of the police and patriotism and peace.

00:05:49.560 Yes. But Pete Carroll is not a brave man. There are a few of those in the NFL these days. Now,

00:05:55.900 the NFL may be a paper tiger when it comes to social justice, but they look downright ferocious

00:06:01.780 compared to LeBron and friends over in the NBA. Perhaps all that needs to be said about the NBA is

00:06:08.200 that the players boycotted their games in response to the Blake shooting, a stupid reason to boycott, 0.93

00:06:12.980 but at least they're putting their own money on the line, only to end the boycott and continue playing 0.96

00:06:17.740 the very next day. The NBA has perfected the art of faux activism, winning fawning praise from the

00:06:26.220 media while doing precisely nothing. The same theme emerges. You know, when the league and its members

00:06:33.060 had a chance to take a meaningful stand for human rights, one that would have made a difference yet

00:06:37.700 potentially cost them dearly, cost them billions of dollars even, they decided to ignore the human

00:06:42.660 rights abuses in China in favor of continuing their lucrative business relationship with China's

00:06:47.640 communist regime. Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr rather famously curled into the fetal position

00:06:53.560 and feigned ignorance when confronted about China's atrocities last year. When he was asked about it,

00:06:59.060 he said that he's still, quote, trying to learn about the issue. Doesn't want to jump the gun and talk

00:07:04.400 about it before he's learned. Yet the team published a statement on the Blake shooting within days,

00:07:09.780 condemning the police department and passing their own summary verdict. It's strange that there was no

00:07:14.520 time taken to learn in that case, to learn, for example, what actually happened and other minor

00:07:21.140 details. Now, for his part, LeBron James is commenting publicly now on every high profile shooting, but

00:07:28.780 only the high profile ones. His concern for violence against black men seems to extend only as far as the

00:07:34.040 news cycle. Coincidentally, LeBron has repeatedly declared that he is scared as a black man in 0.73

00:07:39.960 America and that black people are literally hunted every time they leave their comfort of their own

00:07:44.960 homes. This, of course, is nonsense. LeBron James doesn't really believe that he's a liar and it's 0.99

00:07:51.520 dangerous nonsense, the sort of nonsense that burns cities. But LeBron will continue spraying gasoline 0.87

00:07:58.340 into the inferno from the comfort of his NBA bubble or his Los Angeles mansion. America has given LeBron

00:08:04.780 wealth, fame, power, and admiration beyond imagination. Like so many of his peers, though,

00:08:11.820 he has a very funny way of saying thank you. So, in summary, these men and organizations are hypocrites 0.99

00:08:18.720 and moral cowards. They give us the spectacle of big, strong athletes performing feats of strength and 0.98

00:08:24.700 skill, sprinkled down with a healthy dose of social justice banner waving. But on the inside, at the

00:08:29.880 core of their characters, they are frail and pitiful. These are, most of all, men desperate for

00:08:36.060 approval. If they're scared of anything, it isn't that racist white men are hunting them. It's that the 0.99

00:08:41.500 checks might stop coming and the applause might cease. And this cushy life afforded to them by the

00:08:47.000 country they despise might disappear. So they're never going to use their platform to defend true

00:08:52.320 justice or speak real truth. Instead, they'll posture and earn their millions and cry into their piles

00:08:58.440 of money about the oppression that they have made up in their heads. Let's get to five headlines.

00:09:10.520 You know, when I first got married and my wife had to, she had to briefly live in my bachelor pad

00:09:17.700 department before we moved. Uh, God bless her. That couldn't have been easy. But you know, one thing

00:09:22.080 she noticed when she walked in is that the walls were completely bare aside from the odd stain or

00:09:25.980 two. Um, but that's because I didn't have any artwork on the walls and it wasn't until I got married

00:09:32.380 and I, you know, so you start having your own home and you realize you got to have some artwork on the

00:09:36.760 walls and that's where paint your life comes in. I wish I'd known about paint your life back then.

00:10:24.500 anniversary or wedding gift, or it's just something you can get for yourself. Uh, that's what we did

00:10:29.080 in my family. So at paint your life.com, there's no risk. If you don't love the final painting,

00:10:42.400 Text the word Matt to 64,000. That's Matt to 64,000 text Matt to 64,000. Paint your life,

00:10:49.560 celebrate the moments that matter most. Okay. Nancy Pelosi is the latest Democrat politician 0.97

00:10:54.780 to break the shutdown rules that she pushes and supports. Uh, and once again, like the mayor 0.51

00:10:59.660 of Chicago, it's all so that she can get her hair did as the kids say, I think, uh, here 0.98

00:11:05.060 she is, Nancy going to a hair salon, maskless indoors, San Francisco to get a blowout, whatever

00:11:12.720 that is. Honestly, when I first heard that Nancy Pelosi was caught indoors for a blowout,

00:11:16.320 I thought it was some kind of bathroom emergency. And at first I thought, well, okay, I'll give

00:11:20.860 her that. I mean, you know, look, you got to do what you got to do, but I know apparently

00:11:24.340 it's a, it's some sort of hair thing. So it's illegal right now in the city to get your hair

00:11:28.760 done inside, especially maskless, but Nancy can do it because she's Nancy Pelosi. Now the Pelosi 0.61

00:11:36.180 camp has responded to the controversy and their excuse, their excuse is something else. Their

00:11:40.780 excuse is that she didn't know that what she was doing was wrong. Seriously. That's what they're

00:11:46.480 saying. She didn't know. She didn't know about the rules that she has ceaselessly promoted and 0.95

00:11:51.720 insisted upon. Uh, and that's absurd obviously, but on an, on another level in a certain way,

00:11:57.860 I almost believe it. I almost believe that Nancy Pelosi really didn't think she had done anything

00:12:04.780 wrong, but not because she didn't know the rules, but because she really didn't think they applied

00:12:09.100 to her. Now, Nancy Pelosi has been in Congress for 376 years, I think. So she's been in this bubble,

00:12:16.060 uh, not living a real human life for so long. It may just be that she really assumed that the rules

00:12:22.680 didn't apply to her. I can almost imagine the conversation with one of her henchmen when they say, 0.96

00:12:26.980 uh, you know, speaker Pelosi, that people are upset that you went in to that hair salon.

00:12:32.040 What? Upset? What do you mean? Well, because it's, it's illegal and you know, you've supported

00:12:36.840 these laws and now you're doing what people think it's hypocritical. No, wait, hang on a second,

00:12:41.140 but I'm Nancy Pelosi. Did you explain that to them? No. Did you explain to them? I'm Nancy Pelosi.

00:12:47.020 Do they know that it's, it's, it's me. I mean, I said, what do you expect me to follow the same

00:12:51.380 rules as the dirty, smelly, regular people? That's absurd. Um, and then she soothes herself 0.97

00:12:56.900 by eating five cartons of ice cream from her $95,000 refrigerator. Uh, but whatever, whatever

00:13:05.880 the excuse is, this, this just really what it confirms again is that the people in government,

00:13:10.360 um, who've been fear mongering about the virus and using it to control us don't believe what

00:13:16.320 they're saying. All right, let's go to number two. The media right now is having a difficult time.

00:13:20.920 Uh, so prayers up for the media cause they're, they're having, it's, it's, it's, it's a hard

00:13:25.120 time for them. We've got these riots going on, uh, but the media can't decide if it should deny that

00:13:32.840 the riots are happening or blame the riots on Donald Trump. That that's what it really comes down

00:13:38.880 to. They can't figure it out. So they're kind of doing both at the moment. They're, they're trying

00:13:42.700 to split the difference. And that's why you have this headline from the New York

00:13:46.080 Times. Uh, the headline is as right-wing groups increasingly moved to confront protesters in

00:13:51.120 U S cities, demonstrators are assessing how to keep themselves safe. Uh, yes, of course.

00:14:00.820 Yes, that that's what's happening here. Well, with a few, with a few tweaks, this is a good

00:14:04.780 headline. So I think it just needs to run through the editorial process a little bit more. Here's

00:14:09.060 how I would adjust it. This is what I would say for the headline as citizens increasingly decide

00:14:14.060 that they don't want their houses and businesses burned down. Arsonists are assessing how to continue

00:14:19.860 their campaign of terrorism in a way that harms others, but not themselves. So, you know, very

00:14:25.660 similar, but just some minor changes. Anyway, that's one strategy to say, yes, there's violence,

00:14:32.400 but actually somehow it's all right-wingers, which raises the question. If right-wingers are causing all

00:14:38.000 this violence at left-wing protests, why don't you ever see violence at right-wing protests? I mean,

00:14:42.700 you never see it. You never see buildings getting burned down at right-wing protests. Do they save

00:14:46.600 all of that for the left-wing protests? It's pretty, pretty dastardly genius plan if so, but somehow I

00:14:52.160 doubt it. Uh, but then you also have, um, the media at the same time claiming that the riots aren't

00:15:00.060 happening at all, which gives rise to one of my new favorite genres of tweets where journalists in the

00:15:07.340 nicer, more comfortable parts of riot racked towns take pictures and videos of little plots of grass

00:15:15.560 where nobody is being beaten unconscious or killed at the moment. And they offer it as proof that the

00:15:21.240 riots are fiction. So here's Dan Zach, uh, journalist, two first names. So you know that you got to be on

00:15:27.300 your guard with this guy reporter for the Washington post. And, um, I mean, if you're like, if the last

00:15:33.120 name's Zach, I don't think you name your kid, Dan, Dan Zach, I don't know. I, I think if you, if you've

00:15:41.300 got the, a first name for a last name, then you've got to have a last name for a first name. I think

00:15:47.640 that's the way that it works. The two first name thing. It's creepy. Anyway, Dan Zach, uh, he, he uploaded

00:15:54.520 a little video of some people sitting on the grass with the sarcastic caption, Washington DC is simply out

00:16:00.580 of control. You see, you get it because those six people there on the grass aren't murdering anybody

00:16:07.500 right now. Therefore there's no problem in DC makes sense. And then Josh Campbell, CNN correspondent

00:16:13.180 shows us some grass in Portland with the caption. Good morning from wonderful Portland, where the city

00:16:19.040 is not under siege and buildings are not burning to the ground. I also ate my breakfast burrito outside

00:16:24.020 today and so far haven't been attacked by shadowy gangs of Antifa commandos. Okay. So Josh had

00:16:30.480 a burrito this morning and wasn't killed, which means logically that buildings are not burning down

00:16:36.940 in Portland. Do you understand how that works? It's airtight. You know, speaking of which, look,

00:16:41.820 I have this, uh, I have this here. I found this online. This is a satellite image of the Middle East.

00:16:48.280 And as you can see, you know, there's nobody in this picture shooting anyone or blowing themselves up

00:16:53.860 that we can see. So yeah, looks real dangerous. All this stuff about the Middle East being dangerous. 1.00

00:16:59.960 Well, what do you, look, you can see, look, you see Syria right there. Do you see anyone being 1.00

00:17:04.280 executed by Islamic militants in that picture? Do you? And you know what else? Um, you've probably

00:17:10.260 heard of the Hindenburg disaster. Supposedly, supposedly, allegedly a German airship caught fire

00:17:16.540 in 1937, killed like 36 people. Uh, that's what you heard. That's the story, but I can debunk that

00:17:22.140 right now. So here's the picture. Um, but in a way, just sorry, zoom in on, not on, zoom in on the,

00:17:28.600 on the tip of the, of the airship, the part that isn't on fire. There, you see, see that the ship

00:17:34.980 didn't catch fire. You see, because that we can see right there, that part of the ship that's not on

00:17:39.880 fire, which means that the other part isn't either. Just super scary Hindenburg disaster you've got

00:17:45.940 there. Debunked. I just did it myself. Uh, it's, it's, it's easy to do. All right. Number three,

00:17:54.240 here's a lovely sentiment from a former BLM organizer and current contributor to medium.

00:17:58.860 She says, um, this is a tweet she sent out. She says, I absolutely hate the smile that white people 0.98

00:18:05.780 who don't know you give you walking down the street to let you know they're a sanctuary safe 0.99

00:18:10.840 white. So no problem here. Just a woman who hates white people for smiling. 1.00

00:18:19.220 Imagine being this angry. I mean, I'm angry, but she gives me a run for my money. I, even I don't 0.99

00:18:25.140 get mad at people for smiling most of the time, but this, this is, this is extreme, like top shelf

00:18:32.960 barrel proof racism. You're dealing with right here where she, she is, she, she hates people of 1.00

00:18:38.960 another race, even when they're smiling, not just even when there's not, she hates them for smiling. 0.86

00:18:44.640 Uh, but this is a BLM organizer and someone who feels perfectly comfortable expressing this out

00:18:50.400 loud publicly on the internet with her own name and face attached to it, which should tell you 1.00

00:18:54.780 something. Now, by the way, I checked out her bio on her website. Um, and this will shock you. First

00:19:01.480 of all, she describes herself as an award-winning poet, educator, author, activist, and journalist.

00:19:07.160 And also she appears to use the pronoun they. So both are shocking developments there. And on her

00:19:13.680 Twitter account, her most recent retweets is from someone named Feminista Jones, a left-wing 0.88

00:19:18.860 activist, apparently verified account on Twitter, um, explicitly calling for and condoning violence 0.72

00:19:26.320 against white people. Here's what, here's what the, she says. Feminista Jones begging white people to 1.00

00:19:33.780 support BLM and related work has diluted the integrity of true revolutionary work. I still

00:19:39.160 don't get why folks were so focused on getting mainstream support when it only means the inevitable

00:19:43.940 destruction of the movement. White, white people, no matter how liberal or progressive will never 0.92

00:19:49.100 endorse revolutionary acts that may jeopardize their children's lives. I wonder why. Um, and then she

00:19:56.740 continues violence is the only way, of course, no votes, no marching, no spots on cable news,

00:20:03.860 no high fashion magazine cover stories, no hashtags, no panels. None of that is going to bring about

00:20:08.640 liberation that black folks deserve. Um, what if I told you that violence required that the violence 1.00

00:20:15.160 required is liberating? What if I told you that there's no way for a dislocated displaced African to 1.00

00:20:20.020 truly live free without the complete destruction of whiteness's occupation of space in our minds,

00:20:25.800 bodies, souls, communities, et cetera. And it goes on for a while after that. Uh, this is an explicit

00:20:32.020 direct call for racial violence. And it's extremely common from the BLM crew, but somehow the violence

00:20:42.900 is all Trump's fault. It's all instigated by right-wing militias or whatever. Meanwhile, you have BLM 0.84

00:20:49.100 organizers over here saying, they're announcing it. They're saying, no, no, no, guys, we're, we're violent.

00:20:55.120 We look, we're, we, we were violent. Look at us. We totally support violence. We are so into

00:21:00.640 violence, everybody. They're literally shouting it into megaphones and the media has their ears

00:21:06.940 plugged pretending they don't hear it. Okay. Uh, number four, a quick one here. Headline from the

00:21:11.120 New York post, uh, headline is nearly half of New Yorkers think NYC is headed in the wrong direction.

00:21:18.160 Nearly half, which again, you know, it brings up another New York post headline from 1912,

00:21:25.480 nearly half of Titanic passengers think ship is headed in the wrong direction.

00:21:29.140 Now, both cases, of course, um, the real headline is, is the other half. What, what the hell is the

00:21:34.920 other half thinking five? Finally, for our most important story of the day, I wanted to, uh, um,

00:21:40.860 I want to leave a little bit of time for this because this is, this needs to be discussed and

00:21:43.880 it's important. Uh, an athlete named David rush in Idaho has just finally broken the record.

00:21:51.960 And, you know, we've all been waiting for this moment. He's broken record for the fastest time

00:21:56.740 to move a cream filled cookie from the forehead to the mouth. Um, now the record for other types 0.87

00:22:03.300 of cookies still stands. And of course the record for the fastest time to move a pancake from the

00:22:09.200 forehead to the mouth has stood now, I think for 2000 years or something like that. Um, and okay,

00:22:17.020 let's, let's just play the footage. So we have the footage here. We can play it here is again. This

00:22:21.240 is a David rush, um, performing this athletic feat. Let's watch this. Hey there folks. It's David rush

00:22:29.080 on vacation in the Yellowstone national park, entering the Guinness world challenge this week,

00:22:33.620 had to find some off-brand cream filled biscuits to attempt to break this Guinness world record.

00:22:37.920 Thanks to my son for the help.

00:22:39.920 Three, two, one, go! 0.96

00:22:44.920 Eat it!

00:22:46.920 Come on! 0.61

00:22:54.920 Come on! 0.61

00:22:55.920 All right, so we're using this kind.

00:22:57.920 It's like a regular creamy sandwich cookies. Of course that middle layer in there.

00:23:04.920 Three, two, one, go! 0.96

00:23:11.920 Eat it!

00:23:19.920 Come on! 0.61

00:23:20.920 Come on! 0.61

00:23:21.920 Well, there you go. I mean, if we're not watching the NFL anymore, at least we have this.

00:23:25.920 But with our luck, you know, this guy will start kneeling too and ruin it. But then I

00:23:29.920 was, uh, UPI.com has the report on this story. I won't read the whole thing, except at the

00:23:34.920 very end of their report, they say that, and they kind of bury the lead. They say, uh, there

00:23:39.920 was one participant who had a faster time. Now, David rush did it at 8.8 seconds. There's

00:23:44.920 another person who actually broke the record, had a faster time, but his attempt was disqualified,

00:23:51.920 which seems like a huge scandal. They don't tell us why he was disqualified. They just

00:23:55.920 gloss over it. But now, you know, imagine you've trained your whole life for this moment.

00:23:59.920 You've given everything to this goal. Your marriage fell apart. You're estranged from

00:24:04.920 your children. You lost your job. You're homeless on the street. All because you're giving every

00:24:08.920 second of your life to the goal of eating a cookie off of your own face. And then you

00:24:12.920 do it and succeed and they disqualify you. Incredible tragedy. Triumph, tragedy, drama,

00:24:17.920 joy, sorrow. Uh, that is the world of competitive, competitive, whatever the hell this is.

00:25:27.920 Apple TV and Roku today. Let's get to our daily cancellation. Now today for our daily cancellation,

00:25:32.920 we'll be canceling all white members of the critical race theory cult. Really all members 0.98

00:25:37.920 of all races should be canceled if they're in the cult. But today we're focusing on the 1.00

00:25:41.920 white ones, uh, two pieces of evidence to present. First, Rod Dreher, uh, has the screenshot

00:25:47.920 apparently from a Northwestern university law school, uh, a town hall meeting they did

00:25:52.920 online. And as Dreher describes it, the meeting started with a ritualistic denunciation of

00:25:57.920 racism from all the participants. And so really it sounds like an AA meeting, except with white 0.99

00:26:02.920 guilt instead of alcoholism. Here's a screenshot. Uh, so you've got Emily who says, my name is

00:26:08.920 Emily. I am a racist and a gatekeeper of white supremacy. I will work to be better. First 0.98

00:26:13.920 of all, gatekeeper of white supremacy sounds almost like she's a gargoyle or something that 0.96

00:26:18.920 sits outside the palace and asks you a riddle. If you want to enter, I am the white supremacy 0.81

00:26:23.920 gatekeeper answer these three riddles and you shall pass. That's what it sounds like to me.

00:26:26.920 That's what I think every time. Maybe it's just me. Um, anyway, then Sarah says, uh, thank

00:26:31.920 you all so much. My name is Sarah and I'm a racist. I will try to be better. And James says, I'm

00:26:37.920 James and I am a racist. Now, hang on a second. Why didn't he say he'd be better? Is he not

00:26:43.820 going to try to be better? What are you saying? James? That's pretty disturbing. Well, actually,

00:26:47.780 nevermind. According to critical race theory, white people can't not be racist. So trying 0.62

00:26:52.540 to be better seems futile. Uh, another recent example of this kind of thing, a report from

00:26:57.820 the daily wire, uh, tells us that closing an 1130 AM Catholic mass last Sunday in New York

00:27:03.980 city, pastor Kenneth Bowler asked mass participants to join him in a racial justice prayer that

00:27:09.940 acknowledged and denounced so-called white privilege as the churches streamed mass pan to images

00:27:15.680 of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. Um, the church of St. Francis Xavier, a Roman 1.00

00:27:22.580 Catholic parish in the Jesuit tradition, of course, damn Jesuits. Of course it's Jesuit. Every, 0.99

00:27:28.580 every time I'm telling you Jesuits, uh, showcase the images of the alleged victims of racial 0.72

00:27:33.700 injustice at the front of the church to this left side of the altar. Um, okay. So that there's the

00:27:40.260 story, but let's actually play. We have, we have video of the, of the racial justice prayer. Have

00:27:44.840 your vomit buckets ready as we check out this prayer. Watch. I now invite you to stand and

00:27:51.820 join us in the prayer for racial justice by responding. Yes. To each of the following statements.

00:27:58.700 Yes. Do you support racial justice, equity, and compassion in human relations? Yes. Do you affirm

00:28:09.200 that white privilege is unfair and harmful to those who have it and to those who do not? Yes. Do you

00:28:14.720 affirm that white privilege and the culture of white supremacy must be dismantled wherever it is

00:28:19.140 present? Yes. Do you support racial equity, justice, and liberation for every person? Yes. Do you affirm

00:28:27.540 the inherent worth and dignity of every person? Yes. Therefore, from this day forward, will you strive

00:28:36.180 to understand more deeply the injustice and suffering, white privilege, and white supremacy cause? Yes.

00:28:42.740 Will you commit to help transform our church culture to one that is actively engaged in seeking racial 1.00

00:28:49.120 justice and equity for all, for everyone? Yes. Will you make a greater effort to treat all people with

00:28:56.640 the same respect you expect to receive? Yes. Will you commit to developing the courage to live your

00:29:03.280 beliefs and values of racial justice and equality? Yes. Will you strive to eliminate racial prejudice from

00:29:10.820 your thoughts and actions so that you can better promote the racial justice efforts of our church?

00:29:16.280 Yes. Will you renew and honor this pledge daily, knowing that our church and our community, our

00:29:22.680 nation, and our world will be better places because of our efforts? Yes. Let us pray.

00:29:32.060 All right. First of all, that's not a prayer. That's an affirmation of belief. In fact, it's uncomfortably

00:29:39.400 similar to the renewal of baptismal promises that they also do during Mass, usually when there's a

00:29:43.640 baptism. If you're not Catholic, that's the part at the end of The Godfather when Michael Corleone is 0.50

00:29:47.760 answering yes to do you renounce Satan and all his works and the other questions while his hitmen are

00:29:53.240 executing all the rival mob bosses. This is also a renewal of baptismal promises of sorts, except it's

00:29:59.200 renewing the promises of your baptism into the cult of critical race theory. And what you just saw there

00:30:05.300 rises to the level of really sacrilege with the photo of a violent criminal who forced his way into a

00:30:11.600 woman's house and robbed her at gunpoint right up there on the altar. But even without that, this is

00:30:17.020 BLM Marxist propaganda being spouted by a priest from the altar. And I think it's important for us 1.00

00:30:24.960 to understand something. Not all of this stuff is empty virtue signaling. A good portion of it is,

00:30:31.580 certainly. That priest, for example, I mean, that's nothing but empty virtue signaling. I doubt that man

00:30:37.120 is capable of really firmly believing anything at this point. Many of these baby boomer priests in 0.96

00:30:42.060 America are just hollow vessels of platitudes and cliches. That's all they've ever been. They've been

00:30:46.440 pastoring churches for decades. Never in their lives have they uttered a single meaningful word from

00:30:51.580 the pulpit ever, not even once. The church is plagued by these types. So for him, yes, I'm sure it is

00:30:57.280 empty, just like everything else he says and does. But what about the people in the chat? You know,

00:31:03.440 they're confessing their racism. Perhaps it's just a gesture, a virtue signal. It could be a cave to

00:31:08.560 peer pressure. Or maybe not. I mean, this idea that all white people are racist and that we all must

00:31:14.120 confess our racism and actively work to dismantle it, even though, again, we can't because it's inherent,

00:31:19.380 supposedly. But this is an idea that many people have really bought into. Now, if you're an intellectually

00:31:26.120 susceptible person of a non-white race, it makes sense why you'd buy into it. It provides, as we discussed 1.00

00:31:31.720 yesterday, a convenient villain for your story. Making a villain a scapegoat out of some other

00:31:38.720 group, some outgroup, some other, some them. Well, that's a coping strategy as old as civilization

00:31:44.060 itself. Nothing new about that. Nothing confusing about it either. But no matter how intellectually

00:31:49.780 susceptible a white person is, why would they buy into this? I mean, why would people in the group being

00:31:56.740 cast as villains actually accept and embrace that role? What's going on with that? Well, because the

00:32:02.960 priests and priestesses of critical race theory know something that every other cult and religion

00:32:08.560 knows, which is that humans, deep in their souls, struggle fundamentally with two things, resentment

00:32:15.060 and guilt. The resentment and guilt are oftentimes a bit formless and shapeless. You aren't sure why they're

00:32:20.960 there or where to direct them. And so humans go looking for outlets, for answers, for reasons.

00:32:26.840 Why do I feel this way? Where do these feelings come from? These are questions that people, especially

00:32:31.820 these days, spend a lot of time asking themselves. We are very focused on our own feelings in this

00:32:36.640 culture. And depending on where you look, you get different answers. Psychologists will say, well,

00:32:42.200 those feelings are disorders. Here, take this pill. Self-help gurus will say those feelings are

00:32:47.680 illusions. Here are some affirmation mantras you can repeat in the mirror every morning to make

00:32:51.660 them go away. Cults will say that they come from wherever, the aliens living in volcanoes. I think

00:32:56.880 that's Scientology. I may be getting the theology a little bit wrong. Religions have answers too.

00:33:01.580 Christianity says this is our fallen nature. It can be conquered through Christ. Repent and believe.

00:33:06.760 And critical race theory, the newest religion in America, comes along and says, well, if you're

00:33:11.580 non-white, you have resentment because you're a victim of systemic oppression. If you're white, 0.51

00:33:17.240 you have guilt because you are racist. And at some level, you know it. And here is how to assuage 0.98

00:33:23.840 your guilt. All you have to do is confess your racism, pledge to be anti-racist, take a knee,

00:33:29.280 raise your fist, do this, do that. Here's the choreography. Here are the prayers, the mantras.

00:33:32.880 Here are the beliefs and opinions you must adopt. This will make you feel better. This will rid you of

00:33:38.920 the guilt. This will explain everything going on inside you. See, I think all people are looking

00:33:47.400 for something that will explain themselves to themselves. That's what philosophy is. What's

00:33:53.680 what much of science is about, psychology, politics, all of it at some level is an attempt by human

00:33:58.360 beings to figure out who they are, what they are, and why they are the way they are. Critical race 1.00

00:34:03.120 theory steps in to offer its own rather horrid explanations. And it's not a coincidence that

00:34:08.560 it takes hold in a culture where the other avenues of explanation, the better avenues like

00:34:13.540 religion, are waning. It's also not a coincidence that religion, especially Christianity in the West,

00:34:19.200 started waning when it stopped talking about and acknowledging the darker aspects of human nature.

00:34:26.000 Pastors like the one you just saw there started saying, well, I don't want to talk about guilt because

00:34:30.860 people will be uncomfortable and they'll leave. What they didn't realize is that that's exactly

00:34:35.880 what people want to hear about. They struggle with these parts of themselves. They come to religion

00:34:40.560 for answers. If you refuse to give those answers, they'll go elsewhere for them. Enter critical race 0.99

00:34:46.440 theory, the new cult, the new religion, and one that is infecting the minds of many Americans,

00:34:51.240 especially younger Americans, and destroying our country in the process. But today, I have put a stop to 1.00

00:35:00.080 that with my cancellation because that's all it takes. I wave my magical cancel wand and now sanity

00:35:06.640 has returned. You're welcome. We will leave it there now that we've solved society. I feel like

00:35:14.340 that's enough work for one day. So we'll leave it there for today. Have a great day, everybody. Godspeed.

00:35:19.100 We'll leave it there for today.
