00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the media will stop at nothing to distract from the Hunter Biden
00:00:04.040 scandal. They somehow managed to stoop to a whole new low this week. You wouldn't think it's
00:00:08.000 possible, but they did. Also, five headlines, including Joe Biden giving his fullest answer
00:00:11.660 yet on the court packing question, and it's not a good answer, and a deeply offensive ranking
00:00:16.540 of Halloween candy that we have to discuss in our daily cancellation. I'm going to cancel everyone
00:00:21.400 once and for all, all people, all of us, and I have been given no choice. I'll explain why.
00:00:25.680 All that coming up. But first, I can't emphasize enough the importance of protecting yourself,
00:00:30.000 when you're online. October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a collaborative
00:00:34.660 effort to make sure every American has what they need to stay safe and secure online.
00:00:39.160 Individuals and organizations are being reminded, if you connect it, protect it. You know, easy to
00:00:43.320 remember, easy to do also. And we are all encouraged to take proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity and
00:00:49.740 protect our part of cyberspace. It's important to understand how cybercrime and identity theft
00:00:54.760 are affecting our lives. Every day we put our information at risk on the internet. You could
00:00:58.400 miss a lot of the different threats that are out there by just monitoring your credit. So you got
00:01:02.280 to do more than that. LifeLock does a lot more than that. LifeLock detects a wide range of identity
00:01:06.780 threats, like your social security number being for sale on the dark web. No one, you know, and they do
00:01:11.640 much more than that, but no one can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all
00:01:16.240 businesses. LifeLock, though, can see threats that you are probably going to miss on your own. Join now and save
00:01:21.560 up to 25% off your first year. Go to LifeLock.com slash Walsh. That's LifeLock.com slash Walsh for 25%
00:01:29.600 off. You know, we on the right complain about the media a lot. Conservative commentators like me
00:01:35.340 especially complain about it. Justifiably so. They deserve all the criticism and then some. But I'm
00:01:40.420 afraid that the constant stream of complaints prompted by a constant stream of offenses worthy
00:01:46.180 complaint have made us so numb that we can't appreciate the magnitude, the severity, the perhaps
00:01:53.020 historic significance of the evil being perpetrated by the media right now as we speak. Which isn't to
00:01:59.420 say they're behaving worse now than they've ever behaved before. After all, just in the last few
00:02:03.880 years, we've seen them do many things. Try to ruin a teenage boy's life for wearing a MAGA hat and
00:02:09.200 smiling. We've seen them orchestrate, of course, a ruthless smear campaign against a Supreme Court
00:02:13.680 nominee and not for the first time. In the last few months, we've seen them intentionally foment
00:02:18.500 race riots directly on the heels of them helping to push lockdowns that put millions of people out
00:02:24.580 of work. And add that to the various hoaxes they perpetrated in order to try to take down the Trump
00:02:31.720 administration, it becomes clear why it's so hard to be shocked or appropriately outraged by what these
00:02:37.920 people do anymore. But let's not allow that to overshadow what has happened in the last several
00:02:44.340 days. And I won't even spend much time on the sideshow of the media coming out in defense of
00:02:50.780 Jeffrey Toobin, who, of course, masturbated in front of co-workers during a Zoom meeting.
00:02:56.060 There have been multiple media personalities and outlets who have outright defended Toobin, including
00:03:01.660 this New York Daily News article, claiming, quote, Jeffrey Toobin's history of bad sexual judgment
00:03:07.880 is really about our unease with masturbation. And it continues, but I'm guessing you do the same,
00:03:14.840 dear reader. Maybe you should stop feeling weird and guilty about that.
00:03:19.220 This is from Jonathan Zimmerman, who is telling on himself more than anything. No, Jonathan,
00:03:24.720 I do not expose myself during Zoom meetings. I think most people don't. It's never happened on a
00:03:29.940 Zoom meeting I've been a part of, thank God. If you do, you should indeed feel guilty and weird about
00:03:34.700 that. Of course, the problem here is that Toobin pulled out his tube during a work meeting. You
00:03:40.640 know, he didn't think the camera was on, but even so, why are you doing that then during a work
00:03:49.500 meeting? This is certainly worse than anything Louis C.K. ever did. Louis C.K., at least, according to
00:03:53.880 the stories, asked for consent before he engaged with himself, and he did it in private.
00:03:59.940 Which is more than can be said for Toobin. Yet Toobin has media defenders. Louis C.K. had none. Why?
00:04:05.000 Well, even though Louis C.K. is a liberal, Toobin is one of theirs. He belongs to the media. And more
00:04:10.200 importantly, he's seen as an important cog in the machine to defeat Trump. As a Toronto Star article
00:04:16.680 directly argued, saying, quote, the country needs him. So we can't afford to worry about him
00:04:22.000 masturbating in front of co-workers. But this, as I said, is a sideshow for the most part.
00:04:27.000 More important than Toobin's antics is the bombshell scandal surrounding Hunter Biden,
00:04:31.900 who has been getting up to antics of his own, antics that include perhaps potentially money
00:04:37.280 laundering. Fox News reported yesterday, reading now from Fox News website, the FBI subpoena of a
00:04:42.600 laptop and hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden came in connection with a money laundering
00:04:47.100 investigation in late 2019, according to documents obtained by Fox News and verified by multiple
00:04:52.680 federal law enforcement officials who reviewed them. It is unclear at this point whether the
00:04:56.220 investigation is ongoing or if it was directly related to Hunter Biden. Multiple federal law
00:05:00.660 enforcement officials, as well as two separate government officials, confirmed the authenticity
00:05:04.200 of these documents, which were signed by FBI Special Agent Joshua Wilson. Wilson did not immediately
00:05:09.820 respond to Fox News' request for comment. One of the documents obtained by Fox News was apparently
00:05:16.560 designated as a, quote, receipt for property, from which details from the Bureau's interactions with
00:05:23.460 John Paul MacIsaac, the owner of the Mac shop, who reported the laptop's contents to authorities.
00:05:30.180 And so that's the Fox News report there. Speaking of confirming authenticity, Hunter Biden's business
00:05:35.600 partner, who is by no means a Republican operative, has now also come out and confirmed the authenticity
00:05:40.900 of the emails that were first published by the New York Post, for which the Post is still, by the way,
00:05:46.440 locked out of its Twitter account, last I checked. But he's come out and confirmed it. Again, reading from Fox,
00:05:52.860 it says, Tony Bobulinski, who was listed as the recipient of an email published by the New York Post that
00:06:00.780 appeared to detail a business arrangement involving a Chinese company and members of the Biden family, has
00:06:05.720 confirmed that the email is genuine, provided more information regarding the Biden's role in the deal.
00:06:11.700 The email includes a note that, quote, Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.
00:06:17.340 Proposed equity split references 20 for, quote, H and, quote, 10 held by H for the big guy, with no
00:06:25.060 further details. The reference to the big guy in the much publicized email is, in fact, a reference to
00:06:31.260 Joe Biden. This is what Bobulinski said in a statement to Fox News. Bobulinski said he is the CEO of
00:06:37.760 Sino Hawk Holdings, which he explained, quote, was a partnership between the Chinese operating through
00:06:43.720 CEFC Chairman Yeh and the Biden family. He said he was brought on as CEO by Hunter Biden, who was listed as
00:06:51.560 and James Gilliar, who was listed as sender of the email. Bobulinski went on to say he does not believe Joe
00:06:57.500 Biden's past claim that he and Hunter did not discuss his son Hunter's businesses, claiming that Hunter
00:07:03.220 frequently referenced asking him for his sign off or advice on various potential deals. So there's no way to get
00:07:10.560 around this. The emails are real. It's been confirmed by one of the guys involved in the email exchange.
00:07:16.040 What else do you need? And that would be proof enough, but it's not even the only proof. The fact
00:07:20.980 that the FBI is investigating the laptops is also evidence that the laptops, well, exist at least.
00:07:27.880 Yet the media has been involved in a wide ranging, concerted, choreographed effort to blatantly lie about
00:07:34.160 this story. Cover it up with a big help from big helping hand from big tech. And then yesterday,
00:07:40.800 finding new lows to sink to somehow, many media outlets all at once tried to discredit Rudy Giuliani,
00:07:49.060 who's the man, of course, who obtained the laptops, started running with a story that the new Borat film,
00:07:54.240 which comes out tomorrow, catches him in a hotel room with a, quote, underage girl touching his genitals.
00:08:00.760 That's what the media reported. Sounds pretty bad. Until you realize that it's a total fabrication,
00:08:04.620 as Rudy himself said. But don't take it from Rudy. Ben Dreyfuss, editorial director at Mother Jones,
00:08:09.920 not at all a conservative publication, put it mildly, looked at the segment in the film and said
00:08:14.840 that the reporting is false. Straight up, it's wrong. He says, quote, I've now seen the scene with
00:08:19.020 Rudy Giuliani, and though it is creepy for other reasons, it is being described on Twitter in a false way.
00:08:23.740 He does not have his hand down his pants in a sexual way. He is tucking his shirt back in
00:08:27.620 after she untucks it, removing his mic. The scene is confusingly edited for comedic purposes,
00:08:33.400 which makes sense since this is a comedy film and not a 60 minutes expose. It would be good to keep
00:08:38.660 that in mind in light of the flattening of media where everything can seem like everything else.
00:08:44.280 Now, this all stems from a bit, if you can call it a bit, where an actress pretends to be a reporter
00:08:50.040 interviewing Rudy in a hotel room. At the end of the interview, she suggests going back to her room
00:08:57.400 for a drink. She flirts with him. He tucks in his shirt. Then that image is taken, used out of
00:09:05.000 context. But the thing is, even if he was flirting back to her, who cares? The actress is 24. It's not
00:09:12.540 an underage girl. She was initiating. She's 24. Rudy isn't even married. So how would this be a
00:09:17.480 scandal? How would this be remotely a scandal, even if he was doing what they claimed he was doing?
00:09:22.380 Apparently he wasn't, but it wouldn't matter if he did. This was an attempt by Sasha Baron Cohen to
00:09:26.760 simply destroy Rudy Giuliani in the name of comedy, comedy with scare quotes. That's of course how
00:09:31.600 Sasha Baron Cohen's comedies work now. He tries and have really always worked. He tries to embarrass
00:09:36.160 and humiliate people for his own entertainment. Often people who, unlike Rudy, are not wealthy or
00:09:41.340 prominent. So Sasha Baron Cohen is a rich Hollywood dirtbag who goes around trying to embarrass mostly
00:09:49.160 poor people and middle class people for fun. Once in a while, throwing in a prominent Republican
00:09:54.680 and then just straight up smearing them. I mean, you get what the attempt was in this bit. It was
00:10:01.300 just to flat out destroy Rudy Giuliani. That's what they wanted to do. Even if you don't like Rudy
00:10:07.600 Giuliani, that's not comedy. That's an attempted hit job. And it didn't work. And it never made sense
00:10:15.140 anyway, given again, this is a grown adult woman, uh, apparently flirting with another grown adult
00:10:21.540 man, man, neither of them are even married. Where's the scandal here? But this was all,
00:10:30.340 of course, an attempt to distract, um, from the Hunter Biden scandal and the media will stop at nothing.
00:10:37.080 Absolutely nothing. This is what happens when they, when they say that, that Donald Trump is as bad as
00:10:44.740 Hitler and that his supporters are Nazis and white supremacists and racists. They mean it. They really
00:10:50.380 believe it. And you add that to the fact that these are moral relativists who believe that the ends
00:10:57.120 justify the means already. Well, when the end you have in mind is getting rid of Hitler, anything goes.
00:11:04.700 There are, there are no moral qualms, no ethical standards, do anything. And that's what we're seeing
00:11:11.960 happen right now. And it's going to get worse. We can guarantee that over the next few days. Let's get to
00:11:18.420 our five headlines. You know, as we talk about the craziness in the media and in the world generally, um,
00:11:29.360 and all these companies and, uh, various outlets that you can't trust, that's why it just, it just, again,
00:11:34.700 highlights and emphasizes the need to have some companies out there who share your, your values
00:11:39.300 and who are working on your side in the culture. And when, when you find a company like that, you
00:11:44.160 got to support them. And that's really easy to do. Fortunately, with charity mobile, the pro-life phone
00:11:49.160 company, look, 5% of your monthly plan of your monthly plan price goes to the pro-life pro-family
00:11:55.080 charity of your choice. Um, and on top of that, so that's, um, that's the, the, the good deed that
00:12:02.260 you're helping charity mobile do. Also though, it's a great service, new activations and eligible
00:12:07.040 accounts, get a free cell phone with free activation and free shipping. Uh, there are no
00:12:11.020 contracts or no termination fees. There's no, none of those strings attached that you get with a lot
00:12:15.080 of cell phone companies and there's no risk, um, at all with a 30 day guarantee. Plus on top of that,
00:12:20.760 if you have any issues, live customer service based right here in the USA, uh, and a lot of other
00:12:26.560 things to get free usage alerts. You get, you have the ability to block, uh, use of cellular data,
00:12:31.080 picture messages, text messages on any, uh, or all lines on your account. So this is a good way.
00:12:36.320 If you have kids and they have a phone, you know, a good way to protect them as well. Um,
00:12:40.520 but on most of all, you're helping to build a culture of life in America while supporting a
00:12:45.460 pro-life company. And like I said, it's, it's a, it's a win-win when you've got a good company and a
00:12:51.160 good cause. And it's also up, up to us to support those companies when we find them. And here's one
00:12:57.120 right here. Call Charity Mobile at 1-877-474-3662 or chat with them online at charitymobile.com.
00:13:05.400 Also wanted to mention, uh, by the way, you know, as we've been talking about this Hunter Biden
00:13:09.600 laptop story that was buried by Facebook and Twitter and a big tech teaming up with a big
00:13:15.540 media to cover this up. Now, personally, as I've said, I'm, I'm worried that the Hunter Biden stuff
00:13:23.400 will not, um, have the effect that it should, it won't resonate with the voters. I don't know,
00:13:30.540 but I, I, I have a cynical view as I do with most things with this, but big tech's attempts to censor
00:13:36.340 the story. I think that is something, especially that resonates with, with voters because voters
00:13:40.660 are worried about censorship and for good reason. Um, and you know, I think there's a role for the
00:13:45.180 government to step in here, but you also have to balance that with having them involved in the
00:13:50.120 dangers of getting government involved in anything. And so there's a lot to balance and
00:13:53.800 think about. That's why this week, our own CEO, uh, co-CEO Jeremy Boring launched a new podcast
00:13:58.940 titled Enough. In his first episode released yesterday, Jeremy takes on the leftist outlets
00:14:03.060 trying to get conservatives kicked off of Facebook. This has been a, an effort obviously
00:14:07.200 that they've been engaged in for a long time. Listen now at the link in, in the description and
00:14:11.520 subscribe to Jeremy's podcast to get his other, his other rants about big government, big tech,
00:14:15.760 Hollywood hypocrisy, anything else that comes to mind. Uh, it's a great podcast. Check it out.
00:14:20.840 And if you like it, leave a review. So it gets recommended, um, to more people. All right,
00:14:27.820 we'll get to our headlines here. Um, as you can see, by the way, boxes, this is my last, this is our
00:14:32.800 last day in this, in this house. And so that's why everything is empty and very sad. Um, more about
00:14:39.960 that later though. Number one, a clip from Joe Biden that he posted, which is getting some
00:14:45.240 attention. Well, I'll just, I'll just play it for you first. Watch this. America was an idea,
00:14:51.940 an idea. We hold these truths to be self-evident. We've never lived up to it, but we've never walked
00:14:59.080 away from it before. And I just think we have to be more honest and let our kids know as we raise
00:15:06.720 them what actually did happen. Acknowledge our mistakes. So we don't repeat them.
00:15:14.160 Okay, Joe, first of all, no, America is not an idea. It's a country. It's a country founded on,
00:15:21.540 founded on certain ideas, but it's not itself an idea. Uh, this is not a pedantic point here.
00:15:28.980 This is important. The left actually does want us to see America as an idea and not a country
00:15:34.380 because that's how they justify rampant unchecked immigration. That's, that's, that's how they do
00:15:40.680 it. That's their line. They say that essentially, as long as someone has the same idea, then they're
00:15:48.160 already American. They're already part of the country. It's just an idea, but no, America is a
00:15:54.780 legal entity. It is a country. And you know, one of the ways I know that is that because, um, I have
00:16:02.960 to pay taxes and so do you probably. You don't have to pay taxes to an idea. You pay taxes to a country
00:16:10.860 and I'm guessing that on tax day, I can't refuse to pay my taxes on the grounds that ideas don't cause
00:16:17.760 money. When the IRS comes knocking on my door, wondering why I haven't paid taxes. I can't like
00:16:24.200 rip a bong hit and say, Hey man, America's an idea, bro. Okay. It's just like an idea.
00:16:33.360 Chill out, man. I, something tells me that that, that line of reasoning, that argument will not
00:16:38.060 be persuasive to the IRS agents, but I don't know. Number two from the daily wire says CNN host Chris
00:16:43.620 Cuomo was shamed by his building manager and threatened with a fine for disobeying regulations
00:16:48.340 and walking through the building maskless. Fox news host Tucker Carlson released a letter that Cuomo's
00:16:53.920 building manager apparently sent to the CNN personality on August 6th, outlining the
00:16:58.780 complaints against him. And, uh, I'll play this. This is Tucker reading the letter. Listen,
00:17:03.680 this show has obtained a letter from the management of Chris Cuomo's New York city apartment building.
00:17:09.440 The letter in question is addressed directly to Chris Cuomo. The date on it is August 6th,
00:17:15.060 2020. Here's what it says. Quote, dear Mr. Cuomo, as I'm sure, you know, because of the ongoing COVID-19
00:17:20.640 health crisis on April 15th, 2020, governor Cuomo issued executive order 202.17, which requires
00:17:28.180 anyone over the age of two to wear a face mask or cloth that covers their mouth and nose while in a
00:17:33.960 public space. Okay. That's how it starts. That's a fair guess that Chris Cuomo already knew that
00:17:38.820 because after all, he's the mask guy. And of course his own brother issued the order. So with that in
00:17:45.040 mind, listen to how the letter continues. Quote, you have been observed entering and exiting the
00:17:50.280 building and riding the elevator without the required face coverings. Even though staff members
00:17:55.720 have asked you to comply with this requirement, you have refused to do so. This is a violation of
00:18:02.080 the executive order building policy, and it places other residents and our staff at risk. There are no
00:18:09.020 exceptions to this rule and you are required to comply. The letter goes on to threaten Chris Cuomo
00:18:15.180 with a $500 fine. If he continues to endanger his neighbors and the city with his masklessness.
00:18:21.460 That's what the letter says. Yeah, no surprise there. Although I have to say, I do enjoy Tucker
00:18:25.840 Carlson casually destroying Chris Cuomo on his show like twice a week now. I do enjoy it. Someone has to
00:18:35.040 do it. And with the mask thing, of course, as we've seen time and time again, pure hypocrisy,
00:18:41.240 not just the mask thing, but lockdowns, everything. These people that are pushing it,
00:18:46.720 they don't believe it themselves. They don't think that it applies to them.
00:18:50.900 And it's really easy to support something like a mask mandate, a lockdown when you personally are
00:18:56.300 exempt, even if you're not really exempt. But if you feel like you're exempt and you're going to
00:19:00.260 operate that way, then it's pretty easy to advocate it for everybody else. So more of the
00:19:04.740 number three, back to Joe Biden, finally giving his, I guess you could say his fullest answer yet on
00:19:12.180 the question of court packing. It's still not really an answer, but it's the most we've gotten
00:19:16.780 from him. Here's what he says. If elected, what I will do is I'll put together a national commission
00:19:22.400 of bipartisan commission of scholars, constitutional scholars, Democrats, Republicans, liberal,
00:19:28.660 conservative. And I will ask them to over 180 days, come back to me with recommendations as to how
00:19:37.460 to reform the court system, because it's getting out of whack, the way in which it's being handled.
00:19:45.260 And it's not about court packing. There's a number of other things that our constitutional scholars have
00:19:50.040 debated. And I'd look to see what recommendations that commission might make.
00:19:54.040 So you're telling us you're going to study this issue about whether to pack
00:19:57.220 the court. No, whether there's a number of alternatives that are go well beyond packing.
00:20:02.720 This is a live ball. Oh, it is a live ball. No, it is a live ball. We're going to have to do that.
00:20:07.860 And you're going to find there's a lot of conservative constitutional scholars are saying
00:20:11.240 it as well. The last thing we need to do is turn the Supreme Court into just a political football.
00:20:16.580 Whoever has the most votes gets whatever they want. Presidents come and go. Supreme Court
00:20:21.700 justices stay for generations. It's getting out of whack, he says. It's all out of whack.
00:20:28.040 The courts are all to be clear here. When he says it's out of whack, what he means is that
00:20:35.640 Republicans were able to confirm a few justices. That's that's what out of whack is. The left's
00:20:42.740 stranglehold on the court was broken. And so that means the court is broken. That's what out of whack
00:20:48.720 means. That's what they mean. That's what the left always means when they say something is out of
00:20:52.900 whack, broken, needs to be reformed. Desperate reform is needed. We need to change it fundamentally,
00:20:59.300 fundamental change. What they mean is that in this particular area, things have not gone 100% our way.
00:21:08.540 And so that's that's always what they mean. We need to reform it because things have not worked
00:21:13.920 out 100% how we want them to. The whole thing is broken. If this isn't working exactly how I wanted
00:21:20.540 to, then it must be broken. That's it's the only explanation I can come up with. Number four,
00:21:26.600 the speaking of it not going how they want, the Senate Judiciary Committee today voted 12 to zero
00:21:30.900 to advance Amy Coney Barrett's nomination, sending it to the Senate vote. I think they're a vote on
00:21:35.800 Monday. So to the full Senate. The reason it was 12 to zero is that all the Democrats boycotted the
00:21:41.400 vote. Poor guys. They're very upset. Their tummy's hurt. And they just weren't going to show up to
00:21:47.780 vote. I don't I don't know what. So now it's a unanimous. Now it's a unanimous decision to move her
00:21:52.780 nomination forward. That's how they what are they even trying to achieve here politically and in terms
00:21:59.960 of optics? You're upset. You can't really say why you're upset. Well, you don't like her because of
00:22:06.160 her her what you perceive her ideology to be. But all this stuff that they tried about how this is
00:22:13.160 unprecedented. This is unconstitutional. Of course, that's ridiculous. So they couldn't come up with
00:22:18.440 any good reason to boycott, but they did. Politically, though, all you have done is ensure that now we can
00:22:24.920 say she was unanimously approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Good job, guys. Number five.
00:22:31.860 Finally, the the website 538 has published what they call the ultimate definitive Halloween candy
00:22:38.200 power ranking. I don't know what method they used to arrive at this, but it is a it is a fatally
00:22:45.200 flawed method. I can tell you that this is what their top 10. OK, here's here's their top 10.
00:22:50.780 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Reese's Miniatures, Twix, Kit Kat, Snickers, Reese's Pieces, Milky Way,
00:22:57.680 Reese's Stuffed With Pieces, Reese's Stuffed With Pieces, Peanut Butter M&Ms, and Butterfinger.
00:23:09.520 Payday candy bars come. Don't don't don't make the list until number 47. They put milk duds ahead of
00:23:15.980 paydays and they've got nerds above Mike and Ike. Speaking of speaking of out of whack, this list is
00:23:21.220 out of whack. It's absurd. It's offensive. Reese's are way, way, way overrepresented.
00:23:26.220 They're they make up like half of the top 10, if not more. Which, of course, is to be expected
00:23:32.740 for the most overrated thing on Earth, potentially. If I were to make a list, my own list, of the most
00:23:38.280 overrated things, period, in all categories of existence, it would probably be number one,
00:23:44.200 Reese's, number two, dogs, number three, the Beatles, number four, the beach, number five, Star Wars.
00:23:51.600 Those are the most overrated things, but Reese's is definitely at the top of that list.
00:23:54.380 Peanut butter itself is overrated, but Reese's peanut butter isn't even real peanut butter. It's
00:24:00.560 like some kind of factory byproduct with a vaguely peanut-y flavor surrounded by stale chocolate.
00:24:07.840 Snickers, obviously, is the best candy, just objectively and scientifically speaking.
00:24:13.040 Paydays should be in the top five, and if you've got a more mature adult palate able to pick up on the
00:24:20.740 subtleties of flavor, then you're going to enjoy Payday. Mike and Ike's are top five. Milky Way
00:24:26.740 probably rounds out the top five. Kit Kats are great, if you like the taste of cardboard. Butterfingers
00:24:32.420 are very good, if you're the sort of person who enjoys eating congealed, hardened vomit.
00:24:38.960 But it doesn't belong anywhere in the top 100, or anywhere else on Earth, frankly. So this list is
00:24:44.800 an abomination, as expected. All right, we're going to get to our daily cancellation, and it's an
00:24:50.360 important one in just a second. But first, you know, it's really important when you're making
00:24:55.560 investments to hedge your investments with some gold. But it can also be really expensive to just
00:25:01.380 go out and buy gold. So here's something new. You know how the price of gold has been skyrocketing
00:25:06.300 lately? Now there's a new way to buy gold through a company called Acre. Acre lets you subscribe to
00:25:11.640 gold bars for as little as $30 a month. You pay each month, and once your gold stash reaches the

00:25:22.580 It's a new way of doing it, and it makes it seem obtainable, whereas before it could seem like it
00:25:28.920 wasn't. Acre lets you invest in physical gold without coming out of pocket all at once. Acre keeps
00:25:33.620 you updated on your gold stash every month, and it ships once you reach the price threshold. With Acre,
00:25:39.640 taking physical delivery of your gold means it's safe and sound, and it's in your hands,
00:25:44.140 and you don't have to worry about it. Acre ships your gold directly and discreetly to your door.
00:25:48.560 And Acre just recently introduced their new $100 per month subscription for their five-gram gold bar.
00:25:54.340 You want to check this out and use this. I know for me, I have my vision for our new home,
00:26:01.140 and we have a new home in Nashville. And I don't know if I'll be able—this might not be
00:26:04.800 achievable. But of course, like any kid, I grew up wanting like Scrooge McDuck to have a whole room
00:26:10.340 full of gold coins I could dive into. So maybe I can achieve that dream here. Visit getacregold.com
00:26:15.980 slash Walsh and start investing in physical gold today. Make sure you go to this URL because Acre is
00:26:20.760 giving away a gold bar. To qualify for the giveaway, tweet or post why you should be the recipient and
00:26:26.120 mention at get underscore Acre. Again, that's getacregold.com slash Walsh.
00:26:31.440 And a big thank you to Acre Gold for supporting the show. We're excited about this new sponsor.

00:27:29.220 when you sign up today. Okay, time for our daily cancellation. Today for our daily cancellation,
00:27:34.980 we're all canceled. Everyone. Everyone's canceled. We're all canceled. Enough is enough.
00:27:39.960 The reason we're canceled is because a NASA spacecraft just yesterday landed on an asteroid 200 million
00:27:46.760 miles away. It landed, touched down, collected samples to bring back to Earth. The spacecraft left our
00:27:53.800 planet four years ago, has traversed that great distance, actually has been orbiting the asteroid
00:27:58.100 for the last two years, and now will return home with the mission completed. Now, understand that
00:28:03.240 this rock, about the size of the Empire State Building, is traveling 60,000 miles an hour. Just
00:28:08.860 think about that. NASA sent a spaceship 200 million miles away. That's over four times the average or
00:28:15.000 either the minimum distance between Earth and Mars. They sent it 200 million miles to an object only the
00:28:21.360 size of the size of a building, landed it in an area the size of three parking spaces, touching down
00:28:26.900 only three feet from the precise targeted location. That is an utterly amazing engineering feat. It's
00:28:32.980 mind-boggling. It's spectacular. There's even a short video footage of the event. Why does all this mean
00:28:40.000 that we're canceled? Well, because instead of talking about that, about that tremendous and fascinating
00:28:46.220 subject, we've all been talking about Jeffrey Toobin's penis and Borat, and God knows what else.
00:28:54.140 This is how it always goes. We live in a universe of wonders. We're surrounded by the astonishing,
00:28:59.700 the bewildering, the incredible, and none of that can hold our attention or attract our interest
00:29:04.800 the way a story about a man publicly masturbating can, or the way that any gossipy nonsense can,
00:29:10.520 or any pointless controversy. We all complain about this, though. I hear from people all the time,
00:29:15.240 oh, I wish the news would focus on positive, interesting things more. People complain to me
00:29:20.720 about it, about my show. Matt, I agree with you, but I wish you'd talk about positive things.
00:29:24.660 No, you don't. No, you don't. You say you do, but you don't. We all say we do, but none of us really
00:29:30.620 do. The fact is, the positive, the interesting, the non-controversial, these stories are out there.
00:29:36.680 That content is out there. It just doesn't attract much attention. Unless it's a story about, like,
00:29:42.160 a dog helping a blind man find his favorite hat, and there's a cute two-and-a-half-minute video we
00:29:47.960 can share on Facebook, that story, you know, is positive, and the video would get 15 billion
00:29:52.200 views. But positive and significant, positive and consequential, positive and truly interesting,
00:30:00.640 those are the stories that almost nobody really cares about, except in theory. And if I were to spend
00:30:07.240 a week talking only about those kinds of positive stories, by the end of that week, I'd have maybe
00:30:11.980 five listeners left. My audience would literally be cut in half. So we're all complicit. We prefer
00:30:18.940 the inane, the empty, over the wondrous, and the enthralling. Another example, last year, there was
00:30:24.600 a picture of a black hole released. First time ever that a black hole has been photographed. You can see
00:30:29.420 it here. Now, that is an object 55 million light years away. 55 million light years. A light year
00:30:38.280 is 6 trillion miles. 55 million times 6 trillion. You do the math. I certainly can. And this thing is
00:30:42.800 6 billion times the mass of the sun. The word gargantuan doesn't begin to describe it. A force
00:30:49.300 of power beyond anything we can imagine. Anything we've seen across distances too vast and too empty to
00:30:56.080 be comprehended. This picture was released. And you know what most people said? It's blurry. It's
00:31:02.760 blurry. It's boring. I'm bored. Let's see what Kanye West is tweeting about. But I suppose that's
00:31:08.820 better. That reaction is preferable to when five or six years ago, a module was landed on a comet
00:31:13.260 300 million miles away. And the discussion around that event, if you remember, centered around the
00:31:18.720 allegedly sexist shirt of the scientist who headed up the project. At least nobody found a reason to be
00:31:24.840 offended by the asteroid landing yesterday or the black hole. But I'm sure our best minds are
00:31:29.660 figuring out a way to make that happen. Now, I really believe, I really do, that aliens could land
00:31:35.940 on this earth, emerge from their spaceships, and start revealing the secrets of the universe.
00:31:39.940 And it wouldn't even trend on Twitter or make headlines on CNN unless the aliens said something
00:31:45.440 homophobic or racist. Or if they mentioned that they support Donald Trump. Then in that case,
00:31:50.500 sure, global news, CNN's headline would say something like, aliens invade earth,
00:31:55.100 stir controversy with offensive comments. Then there'd be the BuzzFeed article, replete with
00:32:00.360 gifs and snarky one-liners, with a title like, 10 most problematic things the aliens said when they
00:32:06.480 came to earth. The aliens would look around, shake their heads, and say, holy shit, you people are
00:32:12.480 stupid. And then leave. They were going to tell us how to cure all known diseases, harness energy
00:32:18.860 directly from the core of the sun. But never mind. And after they leave, within 12 hours,
00:32:24.460 the new cycle will have moved on. Three months later, somebody will post a massively viral tweet
00:32:30.540 that says, LOL, remember the time aliens came? And there'd be like a gif from space balls or Mars
00:32:36.600 attacks. And that will be the only record of the event. Humanity's last word on the subject.
00:32:44.160 So we're all canceled. We're canceled for being us, for being human. It's our greatest flaw.
00:32:52.700 And on that appropriately dour note, and depressing note, I will end the show for today. The last show
00:32:58.460 from my home here, which is also canceled, this studio. In fact, my first studio, which would,
00:33:03.760 of course, be my car, was hauled away to the junkyard just this morning. And now this.
00:33:08.080 So this is a time of change. Of endings. And new beginnings. So that's going to do it for me.
00:33:20.480 Have a great day. Farewell. Godspeed.

00:34:01.580 Hey, everyone. It's Andrew Klavan, host of The Andrew Klavan Show. The Joe Biden email scandal
00:34:07.260 is looking more and more like the real deal. And as always, the cover-up is as bad as the crime.
00:34:13.560 We'll take a look at that, and we'll talk to the wonderful Jenna Ellis about the Supreme Court
00:34:17.400 on The Andrew Klavan Show.
