00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and this shouldn't be necessary.
00:00:04.020 It shouldn't come to this, but I will offer my defense of celebrating Thanksgiving and explain
00:00:08.560 why I'll still be gathering with my family for the holidays, and I don't see any problem with
00:00:12.840 it at all. In fact, I think it's the right thing to do. Also, five headlines, including the media
00:00:16.260 going back into fawning mode now that they're anticipating a Democrat in the White House.
00:00:20.500 Also, some employees at Random House apparently broke down in tears when they found out that
00:00:25.800 the publisher was putting out a Jordan Peterson book. Is there ever any acceptable reason to cry
00:00:31.500 at work? We'll talk about that. And in our daily cancellation, I will be canceling one of the most
00:00:36.220 sinister groups in America. That would be cyclists. All of that on the way. Before we get to any of
00:00:42.420 that, a quick word from LifeLock. You know, with holiday season upon us, we're spending a lot of
00:00:46.940 time online. We're doing some online shopping and all that sort of thing. Your online data is more
00:00:53.100 vulnerable than ever around the holiday season. You know, the thing is cyber criminals, very tricky
00:00:58.680 scumbags, and they can often hide malware in emails. These deceptive emails can look like real
00:01:04.840 invoices, invites, payment information. There's a document attached, and the attachments can contain
00:01:11.580 text and images that look completely legitimate. And then when you click on them, pop-up appears,
00:01:16.920 prompting you to enable content or enable editing. But if you do this, the attachment will install
00:01:23.000 malware on your computer. And this is something that, you know, I always always say, it's even if
00:01:28.500 you're looking out for the Nigerian Prince sort of typical scam they've been doing for 20 years.
00:01:35.160 But a lot of these, in a lot of cases, it's a lot more clever than that. And some of these emails can
00:01:40.420 look very legitimate. It's important to understand how cyber crime and identity theft are affecting our
00:01:45.040 lives this holiday season. You could miss certain identity threats if you're just monitoring your
00:01:50.100 credit, look at your bank statements, and that sort of thing. Get LifeLock. It's the leader in
00:01:54.360 identity theft protection. LifeLock helps detect a wide range of identity threats, like your social
00:01:58.680 security number being for sale on the dark web. If they detect your information is compromised or
00:02:03.540 being used in their network, they're going to send you an alert. And listen, if you also have a
00:02:08.260 problem and your identity is compromised, they're also going to have people there to help you with
00:02:13.140 that. Nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses,
00:02:17.540 but LifeLock can help and help you, especially this holiday season, feel warm and protected.
00:02:23.060 Save up to 25% off your first year at LifeLock.com slash Walsh. That's LifeLock.com slash Walsh for 25%
00:02:31.000 off. Now, this week, of course, many of our nation's most dangerous fugitives will meet in their localized
00:02:37.700 criminal cells to share in an illicit meal and plot to destroy human civilization. That second part is
00:02:43.560 admittedly speculation. As for the rest, the media, along with various governors across the country
00:02:47.740 and our trusted public health authorities, have made it clear that anyone who gathers with their
00:02:52.380 family for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year is engaging in something approaching
00:02:56.980 biological terrorism. So just for a taste of this fear-mongering, here's a compilation put together
00:03:02.340 by Grabian Media. And this is just all the different people in the media explaining how dangerous it is
00:03:08.300 to celebrate Thanksgiving. Listen. This Thanksgiving is going to suck a bit.
00:03:13.340 This is not some existential reality. Cancel your plans if you absolutely do not need to travel
00:03:18.360 somewhere. Travel by car if you must travel. I don't like it to be any number. I like it to be
00:03:24.820 keep it to your immediate household. Eat all of the mashed potatoes by yourself. That's what I'm going
00:03:30.040 to do. Limit the number of people. Do it outside and wear your mask. If you go over to a friend's
00:03:36.240 house, mask up the whole time you're not eating or drinking. If you're a college student,
00:03:40.580 shelter in place for at least seven days once you arrive. Separation should be the norm. Avoiding
00:03:47.280 direct contact, including handshakes and hugs. Speak softer because louder voices shouting,
00:03:52.960 screaming, actually singing spreads the virus. You can't test your way out of or into safety here.
00:03:59.240 You can't test your way into Thanksgiving dinner. I mean, you just can't test your way to that table.
00:04:02.640 You can't test your way into Thanksgiving dinner. Having one person serve all the food so multiple
00:04:08.240 people are not handling the serving utensils. And open the windows if you can or have the air
00:04:12.880 blowing out. Do a lot of FaceTime or Zooming. I'll be there virtually, but not personally.
00:04:18.800 A Zoom Thanksgiving is a lot better than an ICU Christmas. Cancel your plans. Cannot be more clear
00:04:25.060 here. Invite grandma. This could be her last Thanksgiving. Yeah, if you invite her to a place
00:04:30.700 where she can get sick and die. People who don't want to miss out on their next family event of
00:04:34.980 Thanksgiving should watch that segment again, because what you really don't want is your next
00:04:39.720 family event to be a funeral. Yes, as you can hear, warnings have been issued with dramatic
00:04:44.860 flair to keep our Thanksgiving celebrations relegated to our immediate households.
00:04:49.140 Eat all of your mashed potatoes by yourself, as we heard the one MSNBC talking head urge.
00:04:53.980 And what you really don't want is for your next family event to be a funeral,
00:04:58.980 says the other, laying it on especially thick. Now, some states have banned private gatherings of
00:05:04.300 more than 10 people, pretending that every home in America is the same size and has the same capacity.
00:05:09.120 Governor Cuomo, author of one of these bans, says that if you love your family,
00:05:14.560 you'll stay away from them. And here is Governor Cuomo giving us a lecture on the true meaning of love.
00:05:18.880 It's your family. It's your home. It's your table. These are all environments where you feel
00:05:28.380 safe. And that is the beauty of Thanksgiving. I'm at home with my family. I'm in my safe zone.
00:05:36.880 Your safe zone is not a safe zone. Your safe zone is dangerous this year. Please. Love is
00:05:47.320 sometimes doing what's hard. This year, if you love someone, it is smarter and better to stay
00:05:56.620 away. Now, as per usual, Cuomo was not planning on following his own advice. They never do. He had
00:06:02.120 invited his 89-year-old mother to his home for Thanksgiving. Apparently, he doesn't love her,
00:06:07.720 I guess. Doesn't love his own mother, at least according to his own logic. But he reversed course
00:06:11.920 on that and disinvited his mother after the public noticed and pointed out the hypocrisy.
00:06:18.000 Meanwhile, the CDC has issued its own guidelines recommending that everybody wear a mask at
00:06:23.300 Thanksgiving. Presumably, I don't know, I guess you would take the mask off to eat, at least.
00:06:28.220 Though perhaps you could keep it on and attempt to absorb your food through a process of osmosis.
00:06:33.220 The CDC also asks that we keep our music down and talking to a minimum,
00:06:38.080 lecturing the public like chaperones on a middle school field trip. But the advice about keeping
00:06:44.220 the music down around the holidays is pretty good, I think. There's a real concern that if the
00:06:48.340 coronavirus is forced to hear a song like Last Christmas by Wham!, it might decide to infect
00:06:54.520 everyone in the house out of revenge. It's science. It has happened. Yet, in spite of all these rules,
00:07:01.740 laws, prohibitions, pleadings, warnings, a significant portion of Americans are still going about their
00:07:06.980 Thanksgiving business as usual. More than three million people traveled by plane this past weekend
00:07:10.940 in the lead-up to the holiday. Polls show that the media fear-mongering has successfully convinced
00:07:16.360 many to forego or modify their plans, but that millions of others will still be seeing their
00:07:21.320 families. I will be in this latter group. And although I resent the idea that gathering with
00:07:27.000 my own family for a meal should require any defense at all, I will give one anyway. I can't very well
00:07:33.720 let the only psychotic grandma killers will have a normal Thanksgiving this year narrative
00:07:38.180 be the only one presented. So here is why, in spite of the risk, however mild or severe it might be,
00:07:44.360 I will still be celebrating with my family. Two reasons, really. And they're very simple.
00:07:48.580 This is all it comes down to. Number one, and I want to be so clear about this. I don't care
00:07:55.420 what anyone in the media or the government says or thinks on the subject of Thanksgiving or any other
00:08:02.520 subject, for that matter. The panic porn fails to make an impact with me and so many others because
00:08:08.180 it's being pushed by people who have thoroughly discredited themselves, forfeited their credibility.
00:08:14.900 Lockdown governors and mayors attend birthday parties. They dine maskless at restaurants while
00:08:19.820 condemning or banning the same behavior from citizens. BLM radicals riot in the streets.
00:08:25.020 Democrats dance in celebration after the election. These activities are condoned, even encouraged,
00:08:29.580 by the people now telling us that the only safe way to observe Thanksgiving is to sit alone at our
00:08:34.060 empty table, gorging on a family-sized portion of mashed potatoes. Why should anything these people
00:08:40.720 say matter? Why should we pay it any mind at all? Consider also that Walmarts and Targets and other
00:08:47.720 big box retailers are going to be open for Black Friday shopping the day after Thanksgiving, as they have
00:08:52.820 been open throughout the entire COVID crisis. They never shut down. We are expected to believe that,
00:08:59.580 cramming our carts full of consumer electronics and other junk made in China is a perfectly pandemic-safe
00:09:05.180 activity. And it's on this basis that the lockdowns have transferred billions of dollars from small
00:09:10.880 businesses to these megacorporations, all of which have reaped enormous profits while smaller firms have
00:09:15.980 been wiped out en masse. And it's interesting to me, by the way, that, you know, the people who are so
00:09:19.920 critical of the evil corporations have said nothing about this historic transfer of wealth from small
00:09:26.560 businesses and middle-class people to big corporations. But what really makes Walmart safe,
00:09:33.560 quote-unquote, is that it's a very rich, powerful, well-connected company. It exerts its influence
00:09:41.500 with those who make the rules in ways that your local shops on Main Street cannot. So, Main Street
00:09:46.320 cannot. So, your local shops on Main Street are destroyed while Walmart, Amazon, and Target, and others
00:09:54.340 feast on their carcasses. This, of course, a process that's been going on for many decades,
00:09:58.580 but the lockdowns have accelerated the process to a staggering and catastrophic degree. And it all
00:10:05.500 underscores the point that, again, the people making the rules cannot be trusted and should not be taken
00:10:11.640 seriously. Another of our favorite and newer sponsors, Charity Mobile. You know, there are a lot
00:10:20.140 of companies out there, and some of the companies that we're going to be, you know, supporting and
00:10:23.900 buying things from around the holidays, maybe on Black Friday. Some of these companies, many of them
00:10:29.540 are against us. You know, they're not on our side in the culture and actually are working against us,
00:10:34.780 working to undermine us in the culture. And that's why it's so important when you've got
00:10:40.060 a company like Charity Mobile who supports us and supports our cause to also support them.
00:10:47.200 They are the pro-life phone company. And what that means is that 5% of your monthly plan price
00:10:52.420 goes to the pro-life, pro-family charity of your choice. New activations and eligible accounts get
00:10:57.520 a free cell phone with free activation and free shipping. So you're getting a lot of perks as well,
00:11:01.740 along with, you know, helping the pro-life cause. There's no contracts. There's no termination fees.
00:11:06.280 They're not trying to, you know, get you stuck at anything you don't want to be a part of.
00:11:11.860 And there's no risk with a 30-day guarantee. So at least give it a try. They've got the live
00:11:15.640 customer service based in the USA and they're giving jobs here in America as well, which is
00:11:19.500 great. Look, you can help build a culture of America, culture of life in America while supporting
00:11:25.400 a pro-life phone company and also getting a great service and a great product. So it's the ultimate
00:11:30.140 win-win we're talking about. Great service, great product, supporting the most important cause on top
00:11:35.620 of it. There's just no losing with this. So call Charity Mobile at 1-877-474-3662 or chat with them
00:11:43.280 online at charitymobile.com. Number two, this is also important. I am an adult capable of evaluating
00:11:52.300 risk and making informed choices. All of the COVID restrictions have rested on the premise
00:11:59.020 that America is a land of children who cannot be trusted to act with any semblance of maturity
00:12:04.580 or discernment. And it may be true that a certain, unfortunately, large portion of Americans
00:12:09.340 actually could be described that way. A lot of them work in D.C. as it happens. Quite a few reside
00:12:14.100 in governor's mansions. But I know that I'm not one of them. I know that, though I may not be able
00:12:21.700 to say much else for myself, I am at least an adult with common sense. I have that going for me, at least.
00:12:27.640 The whole point of being American and being free is that we're supposed to be treated as,
00:12:32.080 not treated as one collective whole, but rather we're meant to have the liberty to act as individuals.
00:12:37.280 The absolute best thing I can say for the COVID restrictions, to include the Thanksgiving
00:12:44.380 stuff, is that these are measures meant to restrict the absolute dumbest and least responsible people.
00:12:52.160 The sort of person who would be stupid enough to wake up with a fever and a bad cough and still have
00:12:57.700 their 92-year-old grandmother over for dinner. That's the sort of person who really causes the
00:13:02.680 problem, right? That's what we're really worried about. They are where the danger lies.
00:13:10.360 The idea is to shut everyone down in order to stop that person. But again, this is not how America
00:13:17.780 is supposed to be governed. And I know that I am not that person. I know not to be around people if
00:13:25.380 I'm sick. And that's the case with COVID or not. You got a fever, you're coughing, don't go out.
00:13:30.240 Don't be with your family. You're going to spread a sickness. I know that. You know that. I know to
00:13:36.180 wash my hands. I know to cough into my sleeve, not to cough in someone's face or just out into the
00:13:42.080 open. I know that too. Why should I operate according to rules designed for morons if I am not one myself?
00:13:51.020 By the way, the powers that be basically admitted that this was the strategy. They initially told us
00:13:56.440 not to wear masks, if you remember. And then they reversed course. And we were told that the initial
00:14:01.000 messaging on masks was just to stop dumb people from hoarding all of them. They were worried that
00:14:05.440 stupid people would go out and buy all the masks for themselves. So instead of telling us the truth
00:14:10.880 or what they perceive as the truth, they lied to everyone in order to stop the dumb people.
00:14:17.520 It's kind of a, you know, bomb the whole village to kill the terrorist hiding inside one of the
00:14:22.180 Hutt's strategy, which incidentally with Biden in charge, we're sure to have a lot more wars and
00:14:26.560 bombings. And the media couldn't be more excited about that, by the way, but that's neither here
00:14:30.620 nor there. At any rate, this is all perhaps academic anyway. All that should really need to be said is
00:14:37.480 that this is America. I'm an American. The government has no authority to tell me who can be in my house
00:14:44.000 or whether I can be in someone else's house. I do not respect the authority the government pretends to
00:14:49.860 have on this front. I don't respect it. I don't trust its guidelines. I don't care what it says.
00:14:58.520 It's sad that it's come to this, but that's where we are. So now all that's left is to eat, drink, and
00:15:04.720 have a happy Thanksgiving. And that's what I intend to do. I hope you do as well. Let's get to our five
00:15:11.560 headlines. Before we get to our five headlines, listen, I think one thing we've learned this year
00:15:21.400 is that anything could happen and, you know, things we aren't expecting. And that's why it's so
00:15:27.440 important to be prepared. And now is a better time than any to be prepared with long-term nutritional
00:15:33.240 food options from ReadyWise. You know, with ReadyWise, you have options like emergency meals.
00:15:38.640 They've got freeze-dried fruits and vegetables for convenient on-the-go nutrition. They've also
00:15:42.480 got these adventure meals for hiking and camping if you like going outdoors. So, you know, that's
00:15:47.780 another time and you want to be prepared, obviously, even if it's not necessarily an emergency. But
00:15:52.540 try the adventure meals as well. They're really great. ReadyWise makes being prepared simple and
00:15:56.480 affordable. You can order online, have nutritious meals shipped directly to your doorstep.
00:16:00.280 Now, due to increased demand, supplies are limited. Some things are going to be out of
00:16:04.320 stock. And all that means is you want to go right now and take advantage of this at
00:16:07.840 ReadyWise.com. When government resources are strained, it can be days, if not weeks, before
00:16:12.540 fresh food is available. You don't want to put yourself in a situation where you don't have
00:16:16.900 what you need, but you're thinking to yourself, I wish I had been prepared. By then, it's going
00:16:20.580 to be too late. ReadyWise makes being prepared simple and affordable. You just order online.
00:16:25.240 They're going to ship everything to you. And on top of that as well, you know what? The food is
00:16:29.900 good. Some of these things, if you think emergency meals, you're thinking, oh, we've got to
00:16:34.900 sacrifice taste. It's not going to taste very good. But on top of everything else, it actually,
00:16:38.360 the food tastes great. So this week, my listeners can get free shipping at ReadyWise.com when
00:16:44.220 entering Walsh at checkout or by calling 855-475-3089. ReadyWise has a 90-day, no questions

00:17:02.800 today. All right. By the way, I brought my sons into work a couple days ago and it just, you know,
00:17:11.120 you put yourself back in the mind of a child and nobody was here. I had to come. I left my computer
00:17:16.540 charger here. So I came into the office just to get it and I brought them with it because they
00:17:20.160 wanted to see where daddy works. And so I brought them in and, um, and, you know, I'm showing them
00:17:25.280 around, showing them the studio. They don't really care about any of that. The only thing they care
00:17:29.900 about is that we walk through the break room and there's a jar of candy and they discover and are
00:17:35.340 just overwhelmed by the, the revelation that there, that there's candy at my work and I can eat
00:17:41.840 as much candy as I want. They, they can, they still are talking about it. They couldn't get enough of
00:17:45.820 that. And it just, um, it makes me, you know, it's the innocence of childhood. And I can remember
00:17:51.640 being a kid and I, I, I, it reminded me as a child, I used to think this, I used to think
00:17:56.860 it's unbelievable. As an adult, you can, you can eat all the candy you want. You can just eat candy
00:18:02.260 all day. And then you get older and as an adult, you discover things like diabetes and, you know,
00:18:08.620 all of that. So that's sort of unfortunate. Okay. Let's move on to this. If you forgot, um,
00:18:13.160 if you forgot what it was like to have the, the media fawning over the president, rather than,
00:18:19.280 rather than telling us that he's the devil all the time, we'd be given a stark reminder in recent
00:18:23.340 days, what that's like. Um, as Joe Biden fills out his cabinet, the media is just beside itself
00:18:30.240 with glee over this. Joe Biden is putting a bunch of mediocre career bureaucrats in charge again.
00:18:36.240 And the media is ecstatic about it. And they want us to be excited about these bureaucrats. Uh,
00:18:41.060 the bureaucrats are back. Let's all, let's all throw a party. One, one bizarre talking point.
00:18:47.640 And you know how with the media, they, they all, they'll settle on these talking points
00:18:50.580 suspiciously all at once. And they all start saying the same thing, right? So one thing they've
00:18:55.120 settled on is that, um, Joe Biden's cabinet filled with political hacks will somehow be not political.
00:19:02.840 Listen, when I look at that group up there and let's put John Kerry aside, because as we know,
00:19:07.920 he was the democratic nominee for president once, but they are not political. They are just career
00:19:13.180 people. They have worked together for many years. I remember Jake Sullivan at the, at the side of
00:19:19.400 Hillary Clinton, when she was secretary of state all the time. And as they say, they really do reflect
00:19:27.080 America. They are now being told that it is not going to be political. And Joe Biden is saying,
00:19:32.520 these are people, this is a team who's going to tell me, this team will tell me what I need to know,
00:19:37.940 what not, what I want to know. That is a big change. Yeah. That's obviously nonsense,
00:19:42.600 but this is how they see it because they see Democrats as being objectively right about
00:19:47.400 everything. So there's nothing political about anything they say, whatever they say is just a
00:19:50.820 fact. It's not political. Meanwhile, it gets way more fawning than that. Um, just, just listen to this.
00:19:57.900 To talk about Joe Biden's empathy and humanity, to talk about diplomacy being back, it is all an
00:20:05.020 implicit rebuke of Donald Trump's foreign policy stewardship over the last four years.
00:20:10.860 That's right. And then just saying that they're going to do their job and, um, be good stewards of
00:20:16.360 America's role in this world and, um, focus on American diplomacy that in and of itself, um,
00:20:22.560 being a rebuke of president Trump is, uh, underscores what we've all been living through in the last four
00:20:27.640 years. This is a president who wanted to be more isolationist, who wanted to pull back. Um, what
00:20:32.660 we saw today, I was sitting in that room in Wilmington. Um, I was thinking about the fact
00:20:37.400 that Joe Biden, in some ways, first supporters is fulfilling the promises that he made on the
00:20:42.060 campaign trial. He said he wanted to have a cabinet that looked like America. And there were people
00:20:46.120 there on that stage, of course, talking about all of their different accolades and their experience,
00:20:50.800 but they were also talking about their families who survived the Holocaust and survived coming
00:20:54.980 from Cuba and sling communists who talked about, um, having gumbo diplomacy, cooking food, cooking
00:21:01.620 Southern food as, as the United Nations ambassador was saying. Um, all of those things are what
00:21:06.540 America's about. It's just melting pot. The other thing I'll just say is I was talking to a Democrat
00:21:10.360 who just said, this also felt like the Avengers. It felt like we're being rescued from this craziness
00:21:16.360 that we've all lived through from the last four years. And now here are the superheroes to come
00:21:20.100 and save us all. Superheroes. They're superheroes. Uh, but yes, I'm, I'm sure we can rely on these
00:21:26.100 people to be objective and to tell us the truth and all the stuff we've heard over the last four
00:21:30.840 years about, you know, truth to power and everything like that. Holding those in power accountable.
00:21:37.800 Democracy dies in darkness. We, we need the media truth tellers, you know, all that stuff we heard
00:21:42.700 four years ago, all out the window right away. And now it's the people in charge are superheroes.
00:21:49.140 Right. Um, the, the problem for the media, and I don't think they've, they've fully come to terms
00:21:56.240 with this yet, but the fawning coverage telling us that bureaucrats are superheroes. Um, not only is
00:22:03.580 that disgraceful and dishonest, but the bigger problem for them is that it's boring. You know,
00:22:10.280 nobody wants to sit and listen to you, defend the government and tell us how great they all are.
00:22:15.080 It's not nearly as fun to hear. And so the, the ratings crash for the, for the media is going to
00:22:20.120 be extraordinary. And I don't think they've, they've fully, um, come to terms with that yet,
00:22:25.120 but that's, that's one of the reasons why I mentioned before, you know, they're excited about
00:22:29.240 bringing some of these war hawks and, and, and people back in to the, um, back onto the scene,
00:22:34.240 you know, what they say about, Oh, we're going to be, uh, we're going to be involved in the world
00:22:38.120 again. And what Joe Biden said a few weeks ago about he's going to let the rest of the world
00:22:43.300 know that America is back. You know, what they really mean, not so thinly veiled is we're going
00:22:48.900 to be starting wars again. And the media is excited about that, you know, cause that'll get the ratings
00:22:54.920 up again. Donald Trump is great for the ratings. If Donald Trump is gone, next best thing, have some
00:22:59.700 wars. And that's what the media wants. Okay. This is from the daily wire. It says penguin random house,
00:23:04.360 Canada has contracted with psychology professor Jordan Peterson to release his forthcoming book
00:23:10.360 beyond order, 12 more rules for life on March 20, uh, 2021. But the, um, the development has
00:23:18.880 reportedly also upset some staffers at the publishing house. According to vice news, which
00:23:23.920 spoke to four employees at penguin random house, Canada, the publishing house held a town hall style
00:23:29.180 meeting where staff members aired their grievances about Peterson in the upcoming book.
00:23:33.420 Some even cried about it. They were crying about Jordan Peterson at work. One employee told vice that
00:23:41.460 people were crying in their meeting in the meeting about how Jordan Peterson has affected their lives
00:23:46.060 and noted that one person at the meeting also claimed that their father had been radicalized
00:23:50.800 by the self-help professor. Um, the employee said the company since June has been doing all these
00:23:56.560 anti-racist and allyship things. And then publishing Peterson's book completely goes against this.
00:24:02.700 It just makes all of their previous efforts seem completely performative. Uh, in an interview with
00:24:08.620 vice, another employee called Peterson called Peterson, an icon of white supremacy. And as such
00:24:13.780 suggested that the content of his book doesn't matter. Um, okay. A couple of things here.
00:24:21.160 First of all, you know, I'm not an expert in the publishing business, but I do know that the vast
00:24:28.420 majority of books that a publisher like random house puts out don't make any money. They make all
00:24:34.720 their money from a few books that are put out every year. A book like Jordan, Jordan, Jordan
00:24:39.860 penis's books is going to sell, you know, a billion copies or whatever. They make all their money from
00:24:44.600 this. And so in other words, if these idiots actually succeeded and stopping their publishing
00:24:51.620 house from publishing Jordan Peterson, a lot of them are going to lose their jobs because that's how
00:24:56.640 they're getting paid this year is from that Jordan Peterson book and a couple of other books.
00:25:02.100 Of course, they don't realize that because they don't even understand their own business because
00:25:05.460 they're morons. Um, but, but the other thing, the main thing of course is, is, um,
00:25:10.080 this is just a good, a good tip for all employers. I think, um, if you have someone crying at work,
00:25:19.960 I think in this could be a delicate situation, best way to handle it is to, you know, take them by the
00:25:28.200 shoulder, lead them into your, to your office. If you're the employer, if you're their boss and sit
00:25:32.760 them down, you know, hand them a tissue and just, and I would just, and I would just look at them
00:25:39.240 with very kind eyes and say, get the hell out of here. You embarrassing baby, you're fired.
00:25:49.000 And then the next step, the next really important step is, um, especially if they're crying about
00:25:52.480 Jordan Peterson, make sure to gather all of the other employees, you know, while that person gets
00:25:57.980 their box of stuff together, have all the other employees stand and just, and as they're walking
00:26:01.820 out point and laugh as they walk out in tears, that's the appropriate response to somebody crying
00:26:07.800 at work completely unacceptable in general to cry at work over something like this, especially so.
00:26:15.260 Now I did say this on Twitter yesterday and I was, I was informed by some women that, um, you know,
00:26:21.960 to have a rule of no crying at work is unfair to women because, you know, women have to cry every
00:26:26.340 once in a while at work, it happens. And I understand that. So I think what the rules should
00:26:30.760 be, and I'm going to talk to HR here at daily wire about this, but, um, because of course they care
00:26:35.820 about what I think the rules should be. So I think what the rules should be is men, you can never cry
00:26:40.540 at work, period. You cry at work, you're done and you're banned. You're, you're fired and you're
00:26:44.580 banished from, from all jobs in the future. But for women, uh, you can cry once per fiscal quarter.
00:26:50.940 And so what I would say is plan ahead, uh, just make it, make it count. If you feel like you want
00:26:57.680 to have additional cries, you can apply for a waiver ahead of time with HR and, uh, it'll take
00:27:03.300 three to five business days to process. And when that comes through, you can have your, your cry.
00:27:07.960 So I think those are what the, those are what the rules should be. All right. Um, article from CNN here,
00:27:14.340 I guess, looking on the bright side, the headline is COVID might mean fewer family political fights
00:27:20.860 over Thanksgiving. And I'm not even going to bother to read this because it doesn't matter,
00:27:26.920 but this is the, you see this every single year and a little bit of a different twist on it this
00:27:32.160 year. But usually you get these articles every year about how to survive Thanksgiving with your
00:27:36.860 conservative uncle, how to, how to, how to navigate political fights at, uh, at the, how to avoid
00:27:42.200 political arguments at Thanksgiving, all these kinds of articles. And now we're supposed to say,
00:27:46.060 Oh, well, it's good. We're not having Thanksgiving because then we don't have the political arguments.
00:27:49.180 I don't under, I don't get it. Like this is the whole fun of Thanksgiving, isn't it? Am I crazy?
00:27:55.100 Or is, is, is everybody else? I always find myself asking that for me, this is the whole fun of it.
00:28:00.260 You get your family together and you know, you eat something, you eat a meal and you argue about
00:28:05.120 politics or theology or like anything, but you got to have some kind of debate, some kind of argument.
00:28:10.360 How boring would your family have to be if you don't have any political arguments?
00:28:19.340 And this is where people, people say, well, the things you never talk about religion and politics,
00:28:24.360 that's all I talk about. What the hell else would you talk about?
00:28:30.720 Sports? I guess we could throw that in. So yeah, sure. You talk other than that,
00:28:33.900 what else is there to talk about? I'm just, I'm so grateful. I'm not in the same family as a,
00:28:39.500 as so many of these people that have this attitude. Number four. So Eric Garcetti,
00:28:44.160 mayor of Los Angeles, far left wacko. And, um, he's another mayor who's completely bought in,
00:28:51.360 of course, to the leftist racial narrative. He's bent over backwards for BLM and rioters,
00:28:57.160 letting them do whatever they want. Um, like all other Democrat mayors, of course,
00:29:01.760 let's, so he's done all that and he's been mayor for, I don't know, I think five or six years or
00:29:07.060 something. Let's check in with BLM to see how they're thanking him for his efforts. How,
00:29:13.880 how's, how's it going over with them? How are they thanking him? Uh, let's, uh, let's listen.
00:29:17.780 Here it is.
00:29:20.220 I want to be real clear. What he's attempting to do for his entire reign as mayor is silence black
00:29:37.280 voices. Get him. We will not let our voices be silent. Get him. We will not let our voices be
00:29:43.800 silent. He wants us to be silent as he continues to feed a police department that is one of the
00:29:50.960 most murderous in the entire nation. Well, that answers the question. No surprise there. And
00:29:57.700 you probably picked up from context clues, but the bleeped out word they were, they were saying,
00:30:01.780 F Eric Garcetti chart, chanting it into a bullhorn. Um, I, I think what they, those are BLM
00:30:08.480 protesters, uh, protesting again. And they were trying to ensure, I believe that Eric Garcetti
00:30:13.580 is not appointed to any positions in, um, Joe Biden's white house because, because Eric Garcetti's
00:30:22.200 racist. He's an ally of white supremacists. This far left wacko mayor of Los Angeles is, is now an,
00:30:31.240 is basically a Nazi himself. Once again, we see that there's, there's no satisfying the left.
00:30:38.400 You cannot satisfy no matter what you do, you can't satisfy them. And you could, you could say
00:30:44.940 that there's, you know, you have sort of some of that on both sides where you've got the ideological
00:30:48.640 purists who are, who are, who are never happy and are always going to be critical of you. Um,
00:30:52.720 but that's not real on the right. You know, it is possible. I mean, I'm, I'm kind of one of those
00:30:58.820 ideological purists and yeah, I do hate most politicians even on our own side, but at the
00:31:05.640 same time, it is possible on the right to, you know, if a public figure, a, uh, uh, politician,
00:31:12.060 a president, a mayor, whatever, um, you know, could basically do the right thing. And we can
00:31:17.660 basically be satisfied with that. Maybe not completely satisfied, but we could say, all right,
00:31:23.080 you know, you're on the right path here on the left though. No, there's nothing you can do. It
00:31:28.880 does not matter. They will never, ever be happy. But of course, guys like Eric Carcetti will continue
00:31:36.220 trying. Um, finally reading from Gizmodo, um, we had to, before I guess the year wraps up, we had to
00:31:43.880 have another potential alien, alien related news. And so here we have this and you can look at it if
00:31:50.720 you're watching on the video right now. Uh, officers from the Utah department of public safety
00:31:55.300 discovered a shiny metallic monolith in rural Utah's red rock country on November 18th while
00:32:02.400 surveying bighorn sheep by helicopter. The monolith has drawn comparisons to the, uh, black monolith
00:32:08.940 in Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film, 2001 a space odyssey. And the helicopter crew said there's no obvious
00:32:13.920 indication of who may have placed the object there. The Utah agency published photos and videos to
00:32:19.300 his website showing the team's investigation of the strange looking object. The monolith appears
00:32:23.660 to have three sides and measures roughly 10 to 12 feet high. According to the, uh, the people who
00:32:28.480 found it, the crew did not note, uh, or did note that it's firmly planted in the ground and didn't
00:32:35.180 appear to have been dropped from above. Um, so the article goes on from there. You can, you can look at
00:32:42.580 the footage of it. They were, yeah, these, they were going, they were surveying, they were, um, in,
00:32:48.840 in helicopters and they happened to spot this thing out in the middle. They're not telling us where it
00:32:55.640 is because they don't want sightseers. It's out like way out in the wilderness and they don't want
00:32:59.980 people going to try to find it and dying, dying of starvation on the way. Um, but it's somewhere out
00:33:05.240 in the wilderness. And this thing is there 10, 12 feet high, this big metallic structure. I saw this on,
00:33:11.200 I don't know if this is true or not, but I did see on Twitter. So I'm going to report
00:33:14.680 potentially fake news. Um, there are some pictures going around on, on social media claiming,
00:33:20.100 you know, people have been reviewing satellite data and stuff going back over the years.
00:33:24.700 And the claim is that this thing has been there for like five or six years and nobody knows how it
00:33:31.280 got there. And this is the first time someone noticed it. Kind of interesting. Uh, to me though,
00:33:37.520 if we're going to come up with theories, it clearly looks to me to be an alien port-a-potty.
00:33:45.560 You know, the aliens brought it here cause it's a long trip. Makes sense. You got to have somewhere
00:33:49.640 to do your business. Um, and then they came and they set up their port-a-potty. They went out for
00:33:53.780 a hike or something around the desert, checking things out, came back and found the earthlings
00:33:59.280 climbing all over their outhouse. And they just sort of looked at each other and slowly backed away,
00:34:05.160 got on their spaceships and left. That's my, that's my scientific theory based on the data,
00:34:10.620 but, uh, maybe eventually we'll find out who put it there and why for a daily cancellation. You know,
00:34:16.080 you always hear, um, people talking about gold and how it's so important to hedge your investments
00:34:20.440 with gold, which sounds great, but the problem is that it involves buying gold, which is expensive
00:34:26.360 if you haven't heard. Uh, so here's something new as the price of gold has been skyrocketing lately.
00:34:31.280 There's a new way to buy gold through a company called Acre. Acre lets you subscribe to gold,
00:34:35.920 uh, for as little as $30 a month. You're subscribing to the gold bars. You pay each month.
00:34:40.880 Once your gold stash reaches the price of their gold bars, they discreetly ship Acre gold to your
00:34:45.180 house and they're taking care of your, your shipment. Um, which means it's going to be,
00:34:50.080 it's going to get safe and sound and discreet to your door. Um, Acre designs their gold in California,
00:34:55.520 sources their gold from one of the largest mints in Switzerland. Acre provides industry-first
00:35:00.040 packaging that looks and feels more expensive than other gold alternatives. And also, uh, by the
00:35:05.500 way, you know, if you want to go up in the $30 a month, Acre just recently introduced the new
00:35:09.880 $100 per month, uh, subscription for their five gram gold bar. And you just, you want to take
00:35:15.880 advantage of this, but, but listen to this part of it. And this is especially something to take
00:35:19.580 advantage of. You got to visit getacregold.com slash Walsh. You could start investing in physical
00:35:24.700 gold today, but you also want to use this URL because Acre is giving away a gold bar and to
00:35:30.740 qualify for the giveaway, tweet or post why you should be the recipient and mention, mention at
00:35:36.060 get underscore Acre. When you do that, maybe you get the free gold bar on top of that. Again,
00:35:41.400 that's getacregold.com slash Walsh. And we want to thank Anchor Gold for, um, supporting,
00:35:46.980 supporting the show. One other note, as we, uh, get to our final daily cancellation before the
00:35:52.840 Thanksgiving break, uh, and as Thanksgiving is, is almost here and we're getting ready for Black
00:35:57.340 Friday. Uh, after that, you know, we had a Black Friday deal here at the Daily Wire last year,
00:36:03.540 and it was a huge success, but we've been consistently adding more features and products
00:36:08.740 to our membership program. We're really excited about all the stuff we're adding. So to name a
00:36:12.520 few things, we've added more exclusive readers past content. Um, our insider and above members can now
00:36:17.220 stream our content on Apple TV and Roku, which is exciting because of all the new content that's, uh,
00:36:21.920 that's also available, including the Michael Knowles show will be, uh, five days a week starting
00:36:26.080 Friday, December 4th. Your account also now comes with custom badges that you can, um, that can
00:36:30.920 earn, that you can earn by participating in Daily Wire events. If you're an all access member, you can
00:36:35.620 take part in our all access discussions. Those are the live streamed, uh, discussions we have with the
00:36:40.520 hosts and also you, the, the, the viewer. You also get two leftist tiers tumblers, um, early access to
00:36:46.800 our Daily Wire merch. There are just so many benefits. You can hardly list them all. We're also
00:36:50.140 continuing to add new features and products like the entire PragerU catalog is going to be added.
00:36:54.380 We've got Candace Owens, maybe you've heard, joining, and, uh, so her content will be available
00:36:58.900 as well. Needless to say, we're very excited about it, uh, but you don't want to miss this Black Friday
00:37:04.620 deal, so take advantage of that now. So today we're going to cancel this man, Ryan Dorsey, and all his
00:37:11.120 kind, all his ilk. He's a Baltimore City council mayor, uh, member, I should say, and I don't mean that
00:37:17.020 kind. That's not the kind I'm referring to. Um, though, sure, we can cancel the Baltimore city
00:37:21.780 council, I guess. Why not? They really haven't been doing much good recently. And by recently,
00:37:25.880 I mean for the past, I don't know, five decades or so, but that's not the point today. The point
00:37:30.720 is this tweet from Dorsey. Um, and there's a picture there of a FedEx truck and a bike lane in
00:37:35.280 the city. And it says, quote, Hey FedEx, I told your driver here to get out of the bike lane. He was
00:37:40.380 obstructing, which I happen to be biking in. His response was get a car. Now, needless to say, this
00:37:47.220 FedEx driver is awesome. Ryan Dorsey, on the other hand, is the lamest dork this side of Justin
00:37:53.540 Trudeau. Not only is he riding a bike and bitching at a delivery guy, but after the delivery guy
00:38:00.040 verbally backhands him, he posts his own humiliation on social media, thinking he'll get sympathy from
00:38:05.720 the public rather than the relentless mockery and scorn he deserves. Quick tip here, even for people
00:38:10.940 who aren't lame dorks, when the internet has to choose between sympathy or scorn, it will always
00:38:17.560 choose scorn. Always. So keep that in mind or learn it the hard way as Ryan Dorsey has. But this behavior
00:38:27.060 is what I would expect from Dorsey, given that he is a cyclist. Cyclists, and I mean those who ride
00:38:32.980 bikes on the street, and you know, streets, those things where cars go, those kinds of cyclists are
00:38:40.760 a cursed breed. They are among the worst people on earth. The absolute dregs of humanity. No offense
00:38:48.680 intended. Every time I'm driving down a busy street and traffic is backed up for miles because everyone
00:38:56.160 has to navigate around some weirdo on a bike. I am perplexed anew. How is this even legal? I think to
00:39:04.280 myself, why are we allowing people to ride their bikes on roads where cars are supposed to go? Now I
00:39:11.180 get that you want to exercise. That's fine. But why are you exercising in the damned street during rush
00:39:17.880 hour? I like to exercise too. I'm not going to set up a bench press on the freeway. I'm not going to take
00:39:24.440 an ab roller down to the nearest intersection. Hey, give me a minute. I got three more sets. All
00:39:28.500 right. Hold on. Why won't I do that? Because I'm not a lunatic and I care about other people.
00:39:36.640 Sort of. At least I'm not going to go out of my way to make their commute longer and more stressful
00:39:41.580 than it already is. I'm not going to do that. Cyclists do that. Now what gets me about the bike
00:39:45.840 riders is their sense of entitlement. It's not just that they have the audacity to play with their toy in
00:39:51.320 the street. It's that they get angry at you for being there. They act like you are inconveniencing
00:39:57.160 them. They act like you just jumped on the same elliptical that they were using at the gym.
00:40:02.680 But the street is not your elliptical. It's a street. If you want an elliptical, go use an
00:40:08.960 elliptical. And if you want to play with your bike, go to a park or a bike trail in the woods. Or maybe
00:40:15.560 daddy can take you down to the tennis courts near the playground so you can ride your big wheel
00:40:19.460 around. Maybe that. Or better yet, ditch the bike and be an adult. Find a hobby that isn't as likely
00:40:26.260 to make you a victim of vehicular manslaughter. Just a thought. Now I know I'll be told that some
00:40:31.980 people use bikes as transportation, not as toys or exercise equipment. Fine. But the street is for a
00:40:38.360 certain type of transportation. Vehicle transportation. If you can use your bike as transportation on the
00:40:46.060 street, then why can't I use a pogo stick? Why can't I pogo down to work? Maybe the city will
00:40:52.560 build, maybe the city can build me a pogo lane just for me. You know, why can't I take this office
00:40:58.800 chair right here? It's got wheels. I just roll it down the highway. Why can't I go out to 10th Avenue
00:41:05.000 and do cartwheels for five blocks? I'm just, it's just transportation. Hey, this is how I get to work.
00:41:11.480 All right. I cartwheel to work. We all have our methods. Why not? Because again, that would be
00:41:18.120 insane. And the road isn't made for it. The road in fact is made so that 5,000 pounds hunk, 5,000
00:41:25.280 pound hunks of metal can fly down them at high speeds. That's what it's there for. It's not made
00:41:30.440 so that middle-aged vegetarians and spandex shorts can burn off some calories on the way to work.
00:41:35.240 Commuting is not a time for burning calories anyway. That's the other annoying thing. The rest of us are
00:41:40.720 jamming donuts into our fat faces while we sit in traffic and stew in our own body fat and misery
00:41:46.880 and you're riding by all brisk and healthy and happy. It's irritating, especially around Thanksgiving
00:41:53.920 and it's grotesque and it's dangerous and it's an inconvenience to me. So cyclists are canceled.
00:42:03.540 Take an Uber next time. No more bikes. They're not allowed. That's it. And on that note,
00:42:11.300 hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving with your families and I'll talk to you next week. Have a
00:42:16.920 great day. Godspeed.
