The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 745 - The Courage To Be Sane

00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Wall Show, a woman encounters a naked man in the women's locker room and then

00:00:04.600 does what so many others these days refuse to do. She objects loudly and publicly. She had the

00:00:09.880 courage to be sane and normal, which is something that many in our culture lack today. We'll talk

00:00:13.980 about that. Also, five headlines. Tucker Carlson reveals that the NSA is spying on him. A majority

00:00:19.200 of the conservative, quote unquote, justices on the Supreme Court refuse to take up a case dealing

00:00:23.660 with the trans bathroom issue. And a Daily Beast reporter reveals his utter horror at the sight of

00:00:28.880 families eating meals together at restaurants. And in our Daily Cancellation, we'll discuss the brave

00:00:33.260 white British man who has come out as a non-binary Korean, though many on the left have refused to

00:00:39.580 accept his transracial identity, which I just think is unthinkable. We'll talk about all of that and 1.00

00:00:44.180 more today on The Matt Wall Show. Now we check in with Policy Genius. Look, we've all got a lot going

00:00:58.840 on this summer. I know I do. But thankfully, there's one thing you can cross off your list,

00:01:04.220 and that is getting life insurance with Policy Genius. And it really is a responsibility

00:01:07.940 that you have. If you have people that depend on you, as I certainly do, then this is something

00:01:14.880 that you can't afford to put off. You might put it off before until it's too late. If someone relies

00:01:19.240 on your financial support, whether it's a child, an aging parent, or even a business partner,

00:01:23.460 you need life insurance. Policy Genius makes it easy to compare quotes from over a dozen top

00:01:27.240 insurers all in one place. Why compare? Well, you could save 50% or more on life insurance by

00:01:32.100 comparing quotes with Policy Genius. You could save $1,300 or more per year on life insurance

00:01:37.480 by using Policy Genius to compare policies and who can afford to leave those kinds of savings.

00:01:44.180 Aside, the licensed experts at Policy Genius work for you, not the insurance companies, so you can

00:01:47.880 trust them to help you navigate every step of the shopping and buying experience. And they just make

00:01:52.940 it really easy for you to take care of this thing that you need to do. Cross it off the list, and you

00:01:57.440 can do that right now. All you got to do is head to policygenius.com. In minutes, you can solve this

00:02:02.920 problem and get it all worked out. Head to policygenius.com to get started right now. Policy Genius, when it

00:02:07.740 comes to insurance, it's nice to get it right. We have reached a point where it requires courage to

00:02:15.060 simply be normal. I don't mean normal in the privacy of your own home or when you're whispering

00:02:20.140 with your friends in hushed tones, hoping that nobody hears or finds out that you possess common

00:02:25.740 sense. Because you wouldn't want anyone to know, well, someone might hear us. They'll know we have

00:02:30.520 common sense. I mean publicly normal. It requires courage to be a normal person going through daily

00:02:37.220 life and saying things that normal people say and reacting to things like a normal person would react.

00:02:45.180 Now, this shouldn't require any courage at all. Normal people should act normal and say normal

00:02:50.260 things by default because they're normal. But it's become an act of courage because so many normal

00:02:54.920 and sane people have gone silent and are keeping their normalcy and their sanity to themselves.

00:03:01.420 And it's because of this state of affairs that we need to make a special point of applauding the

00:03:05.500 woman featured in a viral video, which you may have seen by now, loudly objecting to the sight of a 0.82

00:03:10.960 naked man in the ladies' locker room at a spa in Los Angeles. The incident unfolded, I guess, a few days ago

00:03:17.880 at the Wee's Spa in L.A. The woman films herself confronting the staff at the establishment after she

00:03:24.320 sees a man in the women's locker room naked and parading his nude body around women and girls. And she 0.67

00:03:31.660 she knows that he's a man because he has, well, a penis. And that's the first giveaway. So here's how 1.00

00:03:38.160 she presents her arguments. I find it to be quite eloquent and powerful in its simplicity. Let's

00:03:44.720 listen up. I just want to be clear with you. It's okay. It's okay for a man to go into the women's 1.00

00:03:51.860 section, show his penis around the other women, young little girls under age. Your spa, we spa 1.00

00:04:00.260 condone that. Is that what you're saying? Like I asked. It's so he could stay there. He could stay

00:04:08.180 there. What sexual orientation. I see it. It lets me know he's a man. He is a man. He is a man. He is

00:04:19.020 not no female. He is not a female. He is not a female. He is not a female. So to restate and summarize 0.85

00:04:32.380 her argument, she says, um, I see a penis that lets me, lets me know he's a man. He's not a female. Then 0.99

00:04:40.660 she repeats over and over again. He's a female. He's a female. That really is indeed the long and short 0.82

00:04:45.040 of it. No pun intended. He has a penis. He's a man. He's not a woman. That's it. And he shouldn't be in a 0.97

00:04:52.260 place reserved for women. They apparently even have, they have obviously locker rooms and they're labeled 1.00

00:05:00.680 women, men. He's not a woman. So he doesn't belong there. He might say he's a woman. He might say he 1.00

00:05:07.880 feels like a woman. He might wish he was a woman. He might wish upon a falling star that he's a woman. 0.57

00:05:14.040 He might dream about being a woman. He might want people to see him as a woman, but wishes and wants 0.95

00:05:19.880 and dreams and feels and likes do not change the physical reality of the situation, which is that he's a

00:05:25.840 man, plain and simple. You don't need to be a conservative to see that. I don't know what this woman's 1.00

00:05:30.660 political orientation is. Maybe she's conservative. Maybe she doesn't matter. You don't need to be

00:05:37.160 right wing to know that a dude walking around with his penis hanging out is a dude. Any more than a 1.00

00:05:42.700 scuba diver needs to be a right wing activist in order to see that the large fish with a dorsal fin

00:05:47.840 and razor sharp teeth is a shark and not an octopus or an oyster. This is a matter of the most basic

00:05:54.340 reality. There's nothing inherently political or ideological about it. At least there shouldn't be.

00:05:58.680 This woman is merely observing reality, living in reality and reacting to an outrageous and 1.00

00:06:05.760 inappropriate situation the way that one who lives in reality should. Now you notice that the staff

00:06:12.880 member has no argument to counter hers. They have no rejoinder to the, he has a penis, so he's a man 1.00

00:06:19.880 contention. There is no rejoinder. There's no counterpoint. Reality is reality. A little bit later in the video, 0.99

00:06:27.000 a white knight rides in to try and defend the naked man showing his penis to little girls. 0.99

00:06:32.660 And here's how that went. 0.99

00:06:34.640 Are you talking about a transgender person?

00:06:36.340 There's no such thing as transgender. He has a d***. 1.00

00:06:39.640 Okay. He has a penis. He has penis and hanging out. 1.00

00:06:43.640 Okay. No, I'm not one. Actually, I'm a woman who knows how to stand up and speak up for my right. 1.00

00:06:48.040 As a woman, I have a right to feel comfortable without a man exposing himself. Okay. No, you go

00:06:56.160 somewhere else. Okay. So that's right. No, he's not a transgender. He has a penis. Just like you do. 1.00

00:07:03.840 Are you, are you, are you, are you?

00:07:05.620 No. Yeah. Okay. It's not okay. It's not okay. Okay. That's traumatizing to see that. I'm a woman.

00:07:13.160 I think this is a place right here. I'm told only for women. So how dare you sit up here and tell me 1.00

00:07:18.600 I don't have a right as a woman to defend. I'm telling you, he has a penis, a full and testicle. 1.00

00:07:25.800 Okay. Pure, just pure insanity. We're, we're standing around having a debate about whether 1.00

00:07:37.040 the guy with a penis is a woman, but we see that guy there. He says, oh, oh, you see, he's a 1.00

00:07:42.680 transgender person. He says with a smarmy grin as he condescends to a woman who simply wants to get 0.99

00:07:48.860 changed without a creepy naked man hovering nearby as if that's some kind of outrageous and cumbersome

00:07:54.300 request. He's transgender. You see? Oh no, no, no, no. He's transgender. Yeah. And who cares? 0.99

00:08:05.400 Who cares that he's a transgender person? What does that mean? Transgender. Transgender refers to his 0.99

00:08:10.320 psychological state. It refers to how he allegedly views himself, which is irrelevant to everyone

00:08:18.820 except him. Locker rooms are not meant to house people based on psychological states. It's a locker

00:08:26.680 room, not a mental asylum. If a little girl is forced to watch a man, a grown man undress himself,

00:08:32.220 it's not going to be any less traumatizing just because the grown man feels a certain way inside.

00:08:38.400 Oh no, you see little girl, I, this is how I feel. It's not about how you feel.

00:08:43.200 That's not the point. Now this is obvious and only needs to be explained to people who have made the

00:08:50.680 decision to delude themselves, which is why it's useless explaining it really. Instead, normal and

00:08:58.360 sane people need to stand up, be loud, and treat this insanity with the contempt and derision it deserves

00:09:06.120 as this lady did. The problem is that normalcy and sanity are so taboo these days that even those

00:09:13.640 who protest the insanity will often try to reinforce the insanity as they protest it. So a perfect example

00:09:20.500 can be found in a different incident in this same spa a few years ago. And I haven't seen this

00:09:25.060 mentioned by any, this story's gotten some coverage in other publications. I haven't seen anyone mention

00:09:30.380 this. There's a Yelp review, um, which is from two 2018. So it's not like this was just written

00:09:37.300 yesterday. Uh, a Yelp review for the, we spawn Los Angeles, uh, 2018. And it sounds pretty familiar.

00:09:45.200 This is what it says reading now. It says, quote, I would give this place five stars a week ago, but

00:09:52.440 last night I had the most disturbing experience in the women's locker room. Upon checking in, 1.00

00:09:58.160 the clerk advised us that there was a transgender male in the women's locker room. Okay, no problem.

00:10:03.700 I'm not the type to discriminate against people, but once in the women's area, I saw the mentioned 1.00

00:10:08.460 transgender individual, uh, in all his glory and still had a male organ hanging there. Okay, no fuss. 0.99

00:10:16.140 That surgery is very expensive. Anyway, so I go my, go about my routine and I get to the shower room.

00:10:22.680 He was almost next to me showering too. When I start to overhear, um, the conversation that he's

00:10:28.060 having with a lady that was also in the shower area. I clearly heard him say that he has had sex

00:10:32.960 with probably 100 women and that he was looking for a female girlfriend to share his time with. 0.97

00:10:38.560 He also mentioned that he uses cocaine and LSD to relax. Okay, not my business what he uses to relax,

00:10:44.960 but hey, a transgender person does not act like a guy around women, nor do they state how much they 0.99

00:10:50.800 like women or how much they like having sex with them. This guy is not transgender. He seems to be just a 1.00

00:10:56.560 pervy in quotes, pervy. And given his accent, he's from another country, Europe, I believe. 0.76

00:11:03.220 Um, I like how she equates those two things, by the way, being a pervy and being from, uh,

00:11:08.000 the country of Europe, but we'll leave that aside. Yeah, he's a pervy. One of those people from Europe. 1.00

00:11:13.540 Not that I'm disagreeing with her, her, uh, her assumptions. Anyway, I heard from other ladies 0.66

00:11:20.340 there, um, there that he goes there quite often. I have nothing against gay people or transgender,

00:11:25.480 et cetera, but every gay guy I know uses the men's locker room when in the spa. Management said that 0.97

00:11:30.420 according to the law, there was nothing they could do. Yes, they can reserve their right to provide

00:11:34.920 services to anyone that's, uh, not against the law. They can't deny entrance to this person based on

00:11:40.200 his behavior, uh, or they can deny entrance to this person based on his behavior, not on his gender.

00:11:45.020 I enjoy going to the wee spa and it's, uh, and it's not fair to me or other women to be put in 1.00

00:11:50.080 this position when you basically have to leave the spa because you feel uncomfortable in such a

00:11:54.400 situation. I wouldn't have minded the situation at all if the guy was really transgender, but 1.00

00:12:01.340 obviously he's not. Hmm. You wouldn't have minded him swinging his penis all around as long as he

00:12:11.240 really felt like a woman while he did it. So you've got a strange man with a penis showering next to 1.00

00:12:18.060 you in the women's locker room. And you wouldn't have minded that as long as he really felt like a 1.00

00:12:23.760 woman. What? That doesn't make any sense at all. Have you ever once objected to a biological woman in

00:12:32.880 the women's locker room on the basis that she might have felt like a man? I mean, have you ever been in a

00:12:37.860 women's locker room and, uh, uh, listen to the conversations that a woman was having and, uh,

00:12:44.080 an actual woman and then, and then come to the judgment that, well, she's not really a woman

00:12:48.960 inside and she doesn't belong here. And therefore I don't feel, I don't feel comfortable getting

00:12:53.200 changed around her. No, obviously not. You have a problem with sharing a locker room with a naked man 0.98

00:13:03.240 because he's a man. And you should have a problem with that. There could be no other reason to object.

00:13:10.600 There doesn't need to be any other reason. Those are all the reasons you need. And yet this person,

00:13:17.180 like so many others, feels that they can't just come out as the woman in the video did and

00:13:22.660 straightforwardly say, this is a man. I don't care how he feels. That's irrelevant. He shouldn't

00:13:29.040 be getting naked around a bunch of women and young girls, period. In our day and age, sanity

00:13:37.060 pays tribute to insanity. So often, even as sanity meekly asserts itself, it feels that it still must

00:13:45.700 validate the very insanity that it's objecting to, which is to say that sanity surrenders.

00:13:52.860 Because when you object to a man in the women's locker room on the basis that he doesn't really

00:14:04.060 feel like a woman, the problem with having men and allowing transgender men in the women's locker 1.00

00:14:10.740 room is that what if someone's pretending to be transgender? That's the problem. You hear this 1.00

00:14:16.040 from conservatives all the time. Again, you don't have to be conservative to object, but that is a way

00:14:20.600 that conservatives will often couch their arguments. I don't have any problem with genuine

00:14:25.940 transgenders, but what if someone's pretending? You know, people always ask me what we can do

00:14:33.960 to save ourselves from civilizational collapse, reverse the tide, reclaim the culture, et cetera,

00:14:39.480 et cetera. Well, if there's any hope of anything like that happening, it has to start with doing what

00:14:45.980 this woman did, which in any other time or place would have been totally unremarkable.

00:14:52.140 We have to be sane and normal in public. Now, if you want a solution that will absolve you of the

00:14:59.480 duty to be publicly sane and yet will allow you to enjoy a cultural victory that you've done nothing

00:15:05.380 to help achieve, then you'll be disappointed because no such solution exists. One of the major

00:15:11.560 problems in our society today is that sanity has retreated. There's no solution that will allow

00:15:20.420 it to remain in hiding. It has to come out into the open and be loud and make demands and state very

00:15:28.900 basic truths like the truth that the person showing his penis in a locker room is not a woman. 0.99

00:15:34.640 That truth is one of many that shouldn't need to be said, but it does. And we're the ones who have 0.99

00:15:42.780 to say it. Now let's get to our five headlines. Well, this is a good time to tell you about relief

00:15:54.380 band after my 20 hour car ride. And fortunately, as the person driving, I don't have to deal with car

00:17:09.540 Walsh for 20% off. All right, let's begin here. On his show last night, Tucker Carlson made a shocking

00:17:20.180 statement. I call it shocking. Shocking, at least if you're utterly oblivious and naive.

00:17:27.360 But either way, this is this is what he said. The war on terror now ongoing for 20 years has

00:17:33.360 pivoted in its aims. The war on terror is now being waged against American citizens, opponents of the

00:17:39.300 regime. We saw this on display on January 6th. We told you a couple of weeks ago, based on language

00:17:44.700 and publicly available indictments, that the FBI clearly had foreknowledge of the riot at the

00:17:49.620 Capitol that day. And the agents we spoke to this weekend confirmed that is true. Quote, the FBI had

00:17:56.240 sources in that crowd, confidential sources, snitches. That's 100% certain. But it's not just

00:18:03.800 political protesters the government is spying on. Yesterday, we heard from a whistleblower within the

00:18:07.880 U.S. government who reached out to warn us that the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring

00:18:13.800 our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take the show off the

00:18:18.600 air. Now, that's a shocking claim, and ordinarily we'd be skeptical of it. It's illegal for the NSA

00:18:23.700 to spy on American citizens. It's a crime. It's not a third world country. Things like that should not

00:18:28.840 happen in America. But unfortunately, they do happen. And in this case, they did happen. The

00:18:34.340 whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story that we are

00:18:40.500 working on that could have only come directly from my texts and emails. There's no other possible

00:18:47.560 source for that information, period. The NSA captured that information without our knowledge

00:18:53.080 and did it for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed

00:18:59.280 that. Now, so I think what you hear, there are going to be two strategies from the left in

00:19:10.140 responding to these claims. There already has been. It's really one and then the other.

00:19:15.000 The first is to just deny it and say there's no way this is true. Our intelligence agencies would

00:19:24.040 never do such a thing. These are benevolent. Our intelligence agencies are benevolent and kind.

00:19:31.180 Even though we know that the NSA spies on American citizens, that's been confirmed. We already know

00:19:36.040 that. They would never do that. This is absurd. Even some so-called conservatives, Jonah Goldberg among

00:19:43.080 them, came out immediately after this segment aired and say, no way, didn't happen. Can't be true.

00:19:48.760 Not the NSA I know. Come on. I've known this NSA. These are good people. They would never do such a thing.

00:20:02.020 So that's the first strategy is just to accuse Tucker Carlson of making this up, this whole story,

00:20:09.300 making it up out of thin air. But then when more evidence is presented that even they can't deny,

00:20:19.420 they're going to immediately switch course and say, okay, they're spying on him, but I'm glad they are

00:20:26.140 because he's a terrorist. You're kind of seeing a little bit of both right now, doing the whole thing

00:20:33.660 that this isn't true, but even if it was, it would be fine. But you'll see the stark change in course

00:20:44.660 eventually. When it becomes undeniable, this is actually happening, did happen. That's when they'll

00:20:50.660 say, yeah, I'm glad it did. And the left is moving to that more and more of embracing these,

00:21:06.120 a display of power like this. This is one of the reasons why, as we always talk about, you know,

00:21:13.960 pointing out the hypocrisy of the left doesn't really accomplish much because the hypocrisy is

00:21:21.020 the point. It's all about, it's all about, it's all about power and they have the power in the

00:21:27.460 culture. So they're allowed to have one standard for themselves and another standard for you.

00:21:31.500 And when you point out the hypocrisy, their answer in so many words is, yeah, thanks for

00:21:37.020 noticing. You're right. That's exactly right. We're in control. You aren't. Do we said because

00:21:43.140 we said so? Do as we say, not as we do. You know, it's a power move. And eventually you'll

00:21:50.820 see the same thing with this kind of thing. Yeah, you're damn right. You get up there saying 0.67

00:21:58.580 things we don't like night after night. You have the gall to do that. You're the most successful

00:22:03.400 cable news show on TV by a mile. That's, we can't allow that to happen. We're going to use all

00:22:14.180 the tools at our disposal to take you down. All right. Now this is from the, the AP

00:22:21.660 says the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected a Virginia school board's appeal to reinstate its

00:22:29.360 transgender bathroom ban, handing a victory to transgender rights groups and a former high 1.00

00:22:34.100 school student who fought in court for six years to overturn the ban. After learning that the high

00:22:38.760 school, the high court rather refused to hear the board's appeal, Gavin Grimm, now 22, said that

00:22:45.240 quote unquote, his long battle is over. We won. Honored to have been part of this victory.

00:22:53.500 Grimm was a 15 year old student at a, at Gloucester high school when he was banned from using the boys

00:22:59.900 bathroom. Again, air quotes around he, I'm reading the language in the AP article. The Gloucester

00:23:07.020 County school board's policy required Grimm to use restrooms that corresponded with his biological sex,

00:23:11.500 which is female or private bathrooms. Grimm filed a federal lawsuit that wound its way through the 1.00

00:23:17.380 court for six years. Grimm said that being forced to use the nurse's room, a private bathroom and the

00:23:22.440 girl's restroom was humiliating and severely interfered with his education. So, uh, there, 0.95

00:23:31.300 there, many concessions were made by the school, more concessions than I would make if I was running

00:23:38.600 the school board. If I'm in charge, girls' bathroom, boys' bathroom, you're a girl. That's 1.00

00:23:45.220 where you go. You don't like it. It makes you feel uncomfortable. Um, that's your, that's your

00:23:51.480 issue. You got to sort that out. That's not an issue for us to solve, but they went beyond that.

00:23:58.220 And they said, we will find you private bathrooms. You can have your own bathroom all to yourself.

00:24:01.540 You know what, what, what, what high schooler wouldn't love to have that? Get your own bathroom. 1.00

00:24:10.200 I mean, the bathrooms everyone uses, those are all grimy and gross. And there's, you know,

00:24:15.620 people writing all over the bathroom stalls and there, it's just, it's, it's not a pleasant

00:24:19.160 situation. We'll give you your own private one, multiple private, wherever you happen to be in

00:24:25.180 the building. We'll make sure there's not one far away for that. You can use all, it's all, it's all

00:24:28.440 yours. Oh, but that's not good enough. No. Um, and, uh, anyway, continuing, it says Grimm said that

00:24:41.040 being forced to use the nurse's room, a private bathroom in the girls' restroom was humiliating 1.00

00:24:44.660 and severely interfered with, uh, his education, her education. The Supreme Court left in place

00:24:50.660 lower court rulings that found the policy unconstitutional. Justices Samuel Alito and

00:24:56.820 Clarence Thomas voted to hear the board's appeal. So only Thomas and Alito wanted to even hear this

00:25:05.220 case. The rest of the Supreme Court justices didn't want to go anywhere near it, including the other

00:25:11.440 so-called conservatives on the court, including all three of the so-called conservatives that Trump

00:25:16.700 appointed. This, this, by the way, is supposed to be when I ask, you know, what, what are

00:25:23.560 Donald Trump, four years in office, two of which he, he had, uh, he had Republican control of the

00:25:30.820 whole government? Um, what are his lasting achievements? Because there were a lot of sort

00:25:39.180 of minor achievements that were, that the Biden administration overturned in like 30 seconds.

00:25:44.880 So what are his lasting achievements? And the answers I usually get are tax cuts. Fantastic.

00:25:53.120 That's what Republicans always give you. Uh, and then Supreme Court justices. 1.00

00:25:59.160 Well, if, if he whiffed on all three, three Supreme Court justices, then what are we left?

00:26:03.660 Only tax cuts?

00:26:04.740 Because there's no reason. I mean, uh, the, the idea that you have a constitutional right,

00:26:19.380 a constitutional right to access whatever bathroom you want, dependent on your psychological state.

00:26:27.240 But this is an outrageous idea that any true conservative or originalist or whatever label

00:26:38.240 you want to put on it in, in, in a, in a position on the Supreme Court should want to hear this case.

00:26:47.900 But they won't go anywhere near it. So as it stands right now, this, uh, this remains intact. It is,

00:26:53.680 it is, it is, it is unconstitutional that, that man with his penis hanging out in the, it would be, 0.99

00:27:01.140 it'd be unconstitutional to tell him to, to go to the men's locker room. Where is this constitutional 0.99

00:27:08.780 right? Where in the constitution exactly do you find the God given right to access whatever bathroom

00:27:17.780 you want according to your psychological state? I would love to get an answer to that question,

00:27:25.660 but, uh, we're not going to get an answer right now anyway, because Supreme Court and these

00:27:29.400 conservative justices won't even, won't even touch it. Won't go anywhere near it. Fantastic.

00:27:34.560 All right. Staying in the realm of LGBT stuff, the NFL put out a commercial in honor of pride month, 0.80

00:27:39.420 um, which, uh, they're, they're coming in here at the 11th hour. I was starting to get a little,

00:27:43.960 a little concerned because we're getting to the end of pride month. We only got a few days left

00:27:47.920 and the NFL hadn't put out a pride commercial yet. Yeah. They changed their, their logo on Twitter

00:27:54.060 and they put the rainbow flag and all that. Uh, but that's, that's not enough. We need the,

00:27:57.600 we need the virtue signaling commercial. And finally, at the very last minute they come in

00:28:02.020 and they've got the commercial and, uh, let's watch it. I'll have to narrate a little bit because,

00:28:06.900 uh, it's just words on the screen, but let's, let's watch this commercial. 0.94

00:28:10.940 So it says football is gay. Football is gay. Football is lesbian. Football is beautiful. 0.99

00:28:20.040 Football is queer. Football is life. Football is bi, it's going too fast. Football is bisexual. 1.00

00:28:25.320 Football is American. Football is accepting. Football is everything. Football is for everyone.

00:28:33.720 Football is bisexual. What in the world does that mean? Exactly. 0.93

00:28:39.160 Football is everything. Football is everything. No, football isn't everything. Football is really a

00:28:44.080 particular thing. It's a, it's a game with certain rules and that's all that football is. It's not

00:28:50.500 anything bigger than that. But we know everything is everything now. Everything has to, nothing can just

00:28:59.260 be what it is. You can't have a thing and it's that thing and that's it and it's nothing else.

00:29:05.620 Everything has to be everything. Everything is whatever I feel like it should be for me.

00:29:13.260 Which is to say that everything is nothing and nothing is anything. Are you confused yet? I am.

00:29:18.500 That's of course part of the point. Uh, I want to read this too. Moving on. Daily Beast, uh, Daily Beast

00:29:24.560 columnist Wajahat Ali, always with a lot of great insight coming from this guy. And he tweeted this a couple

00:29:31.940 days ago, got a lot of attention. He said, um, I feel America has forgotten that we're still in the

00:29:38.700 middle of a pandemic that has killed more than 600,000 people. And there's a deadly Delta plus 0.99

00:29:44.000 strain and our kids are still not vaccinated. Sigh. I see packed restaurants and people inside stores

00:29:50.680 and malls and their kids aren't wearing masks. I feel I'm in a horror movie.

00:29:55.960 First of all, what kind of boring horror movies are you watching? Oh yeah. We know that, you know,

00:30:05.040 those, those horror movies where, uh, people are spending time with their kids and their families

00:30:09.220 and their friends and they're eating at restaurants and, uh, they're having barbecues and they're going

00:30:15.140 to the pool, uh, and they have a good time and then they go home and everything is fine and they go to bed.

00:30:23.200 The end. You know, those horror movies, you know, the horror movies were like nothing bad happens and

00:30:30.320 everything's okay because that's at these, these packed restaurants. I've been to a lot of these

00:30:39.160 packed restaurants. We got a ton of them here in Nashville and I think it's great. You know, I, I,

00:30:46.080 I never would have, uh, before all of this, uh, I don't think I ever walked into a packed busy place

00:30:52.780 and thought, this is awesome. I'm so glad that all these people are here. That's one positive thing

00:30:57.880 that's come of this. It's maybe it's, it's, it's actually made me slightly less inherently antisocial

00:31:04.720 and that'll probably wear off. But for right now, there's still the novelty of it. So I walk into a

00:31:09.240 place and I see tons of people walking around and I think this is the, you know, this is awesome.

00:31:17.340 Uh, but all of those packed restaurants, these packed places, nothing bad is happening,

00:31:24.340 at least in terms of the virus. You know, there are no mass outbreaks. Everything is fine.

00:31:31.120 And by the way, we're still in the middle of a pandemic. No, we're not in, in this country. No,

00:31:40.600 we're not, not by any, not by any reasonable definition of the term pandemic.

00:31:48.520 And of course we're not got tens of millions of people vaccinated,

00:31:52.980 many more millions of people already, uh, uh, immune because of prior exposure.

00:31:58.220 And that's good. We should be happy about that. Of course we should be happy.

00:32:07.880 But just think of the mentality. This is like, talk about movies. I mean, this is like a comic book

00:32:16.060 movie villain who, who, uh, you know, cause you know, the comic book movies, the villains,

00:32:23.900 they always want to destroy the world and they hate everybody. And it's, it's never explained exactly

00:32:28.140 why. Well, it's because there's a villain and this is the role that they play.

00:32:33.320 And that's, that's Wajahat Ali. And a lot of people on the left who are clinging onto the pandemic

00:32:38.840 desperately. They don't want it to go away. They do not want it to go away.

00:32:44.660 They live through the pandemic and they're sad to see it go. And now they, uh, they see people

00:32:52.640 enjoying themselves in a totally safe way. And they're angry as curmudgeonly as I am. I can't

00:33:02.280 even imagine that. I can't imagine. I cannot even get myself into the mental state where I could see

00:33:10.500 a family sitting at a restaurant, having a good time, laughing, enjoying themselves and get mad about

00:33:18.280 it or be horrified. And I would like to think that this dude is a, this is a put on and he's

00:33:28.800 pretending to, to react this way for political reasons. And that might be part of it, but I,

00:33:33.980 but I actually think that this is a sincere reaction. These people have conditioned themselves

00:33:42.180 and it might never change. I mean, they're, these are broken people and they might be broken

00:33:48.220 forever where they're never going to be able to function in society again.

00:33:56.780 Just simply the sight of lots of people having a good time horrifies them down to their bones

00:34:05.700 in their souls. They're horrified by it. Um, I cannot think of a, of a more anti-human disposition

00:34:18.240 for a person to have. I wanted to play this too. Scotty Pippen, a former NBA player was on with

00:34:25.760 Dan Patrick yesterday discussing a Bulls playoff game in 1994, where the final shot was given to a

00:34:35.680 white player to shoot, uh, rather than to him, the, to Scotty Pippen. And he's still mad about it.

00:34:42.500 This is, you know, we're, we're going on 30 years ago and he's still angry about it. And he's decided

00:34:47.440 that the Lakers coach at the time, the legendary Phil Jackson, uh, is a racist because of it. And

00:34:54.200 he's still stewing over this racism. Let's, uh, let's watch this interview. I'm just going by what

00:34:59.560 you said. You said you need to read between the fine lines and then you go on to say,

00:35:05.360 it was a racial move to give him, Tony Kukoc, a ride. So, I mean, if you knew that Scotty Pippen

00:35:12.840 had been with the Bulls from 87, battled through the Pistons and every other team that we had to

00:35:19.580 get to those three championships, wouldn't you give Scotty Pippen one opportunity to get a last

00:35:25.080 second shot without Michael Jordan? Like one year without Michael Jordan, can I get one shot?

00:35:32.060 Like I'm doing all the dirty work, but all of that, I understand from the basketball standpoint,

00:35:37.280 but when you say a racial move, well, why would, why would Tony, who was a rookie get the last second

00:35:44.020 shot and you put me up to balance? That's what I mean. Racial. Like that was Scotty Pippen's team, 0.98

00:35:50.800 but on pace to be a MVP that year, right? Yeah. Okay. Well, why would you put him in a position

00:36:01.160 not to be successful? Why wouldn't you put him in a position to succeed? Michael Jordan is not there.

00:36:07.660 So who's next in line for you? But have you talked to Phil about this? Because by saying a racial move,

00:36:16.200 then you're, you're calling Phil a racist. I don't got a problem with that. Do you think

00:36:23.760 Phil was or is? Oh yeah. Why did I get the last shot? Why'd you give it to him? Dude, this was 30

00:36:34.300 years ago. Get over it. That's the first thing. Stop, stop referring yourself in the third person.

00:36:39.000 That's the other thing. Three decades later. And this guy is not over the fact he didn't get the

00:36:47.240 last shot in a, in a, in a basketball game. Yeah. Some of these professional sports legends after

00:36:55.660 they, they, it's, it's really depressing to see them after Michael Jordan's the same way.

00:37:00.900 These guys were on the same team. You know, he's a, we, who can forget Michael Jordan at his

00:37:06.260 hall of fame, his hall of fame acceptance speech. And he's still complaining about his

00:37:11.440 high school basketball coach and the ways that he was wronged by people when he was a kid

00:37:17.840 still stewing over it. You're in the hall of fame. Now move on with your life. You won.

00:37:26.280 It's, it's really, really sad and pathetic to see sometimes, but he, he says it was all racism. 0.96

00:37:31.820 He's decided that it was all racism. Uh, as far as I know, he's never made this claim before, 0.86

00:37:37.000 you know, in the 30 years prior, it was like the first, now he's decided that it was all racism.

00:37:41.060 And you see two things from that. First of all, you know, there was a time, not all that long ago

00:37:46.600 where to call someone like Phil Jackson, a racist, you know, legendary coach, very prominent figure in

00:37:55.700 the, in the, the sports world to call him a racist, especially for another prominent person.

00:38:02.000 Sports legend, sort of to call him a racist. That's a big deal. You just, you don't do that on a whim.

00:38:10.260 There was a time when that was the case. Um, there was a time when a prominent person

00:38:17.800 calling another prominent person racist was attention grabbing and everybody would stop and say,

00:38:24.720 whoa, hang on here. And if, if you were, if you were to make that claim about someone and this is

00:38:33.900 back when the claim had some kind of meaning to it. Um, if you were to make that claim, you better

00:38:39.700 bring some proof. But now we're so used to it that guys like Scottie Pippen, first of all, think nothing

00:38:48.780 of just tossing that out there. He's not even fully committing to the racism label. He's just saying, yeah,

00:38:54.660 yeah, I don't have a problem with that. Well, yeah, you're the one who said it. I guess you don't have a

00:38:58.760 problem with it. Yeah, sure. Sure. He's a racist. Kind of shrugging his shoulders. Yeah, we'll call him a racist.

00:39:03.580 What's the big deal? In a way, it's kind of not a big deal anymore because everyone's a racist.

00:39:12.660 As we said before, everything is everything. So every, so everything is nothing. Everyone's a

00:39:18.480 racist. So nobody's a racist. The word just doesn't mean anything. But what you also see is how,

00:39:23.980 um, this is all that racism has become. If you're a non-white person and

00:39:33.060 someone does something to you that you don't like, it's racist. Because this is,

00:39:41.600 this is simply the framework that we're operating with now.

00:39:46.300 That is the first explanation that you go to. And it's the only one.

00:39:51.000 And the only evidence that you need is, well, look at his skin color. Look at mine. I didn't like it. 0.97

00:39:57.440 But it's racist.

00:40:01.460 All right. Before we move on to reading the comments, I do have, uh,

00:40:06.880 after all this time off, there's been a lot of crazy stuff posted to TikTok. I've missed a lot of it.

00:40:12.500 Uh, unfortunately I can't go back and cover it all, but let's check in on one of my favorite TikTok

00:40:17.940 genres. This is the, uh, the TikTok sing along, the TikTok song. Uh, very often these are songs about

00:40:24.060 getting vaccinated and big fan of them. Here's the hottest new joint on TikTok. Let's give it a

00:40:29.380 listen.

00:40:29.600 I'm faxed, waxed, wearing slacks. Going on TikTok, dropping fax. The CDC says, hey, you can relax. But when I go out, I'll still like a mask.

00:40:56.780 Cause I don't want to be mistaken for a Trump supporter.

00:41:03.800 I'm faxed, waxed, wearing slacks. Going on TikTok, dropping fax. The CDC says, hey, you can relax. But when I go out, I'll still like a mask.

00:41:13.780 Cause I don't want to be mistaken for a Trump supporter.

00:41:17.880 I don't want to be mistaken for a Trump supporter. But I don't want to be mistaken for a Trump supporter.

00:41:22.840 But I will be mistaken for a Trump supporter like a Trump supporter.

00:41:24.920 The effective love to be mistaken for a Trump supporter. Do you want to be mistaken for a Trump supporter?

00:41:26.900 I'm faxed, waxed, waxed, wearing slacks. I'm going on TikTok, dropping fax. The CDC says, hey, you can relax. But when I go out, I'm faxed.

00:41:42.800 I gotta say, I don't totally hate it.

00:42:03.700 I can't believe I'm having all these confusing feelings because you expect to hate it and it's kind of catchy.

00:42:11.840 As far as, I don't like the message, okay, but as far as these things go, the bar is pretty low.

00:42:18.500 As far as these TikTok videos go, it at least succeeds in being catchy.

00:42:22.880 Can we admit that?

00:42:25.020 Can we all, don't leave me out here hanging, okay?

00:42:27.600 Don't pretend.

00:42:28.320 Like I said, let's all have the courage to be normal and sane people.

00:42:31.580 We can admit that it was kind of a catchy hook at least.

00:42:34.420 That'll be stuck in your head.

00:42:35.940 You know it will.

00:42:37.320 You're going to find yourself singing that later on today.

00:42:40.600 Don't shoot the messenger.

00:42:43.600 You're all going to pretend you hated that.

00:42:45.720 You're pretending.

00:42:48.060 It wasn't terrible.

00:42:50.640 That's all.

00:42:51.320 That's all I'm saying, okay?

00:42:53.480 This guy's going places.

00:42:54.960 He's got some talent.

00:42:56.580 You know, before we went on our long car trip, I had a few things that needed to be fixed on the car.

00:43:02.780 And that's why I went, you know, where I went.

00:43:05.680 I went to rockauto.com.

00:43:06.900 That's where I always go because that's so much easier and it's going to be a more immediate solution, an easier solution and a cheaper solution to your problem that you have with your car than going to an auto parts store and wandering around looking for the part.

00:43:18.540 You're not going to find it.

00:43:19.360 Why waste your time?

00:43:20.820 Rockauto.com always offers the lowest prices possible rather than changing prices or, you know, just trying to see how much they can get out of you.

00:43:27.740 They're not going to do that.

00:43:28.780 If you see it at rockauto.com, you have peace of mind knowing that that's the lowest price you're going to find it anywhere.

00:43:35.320 They're a family business.

00:43:36.220 They've been serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.

00:44:01.220 And remember, as always, to write Walsh in their How Did You Hear About Us box so they know that we sent you.

00:44:05.260 Let's move on now to reading the YouTube comments.

00:44:09.520 Annie Shute says, quoting me, she says, in a healthy country, she would be kicked off the team.

00:44:16.100 I was referring to the Olympic athlete who turned her back on the flag, whatever her name was, Gwen something other.

00:44:23.400 Gwen Berry, wasn't it?

00:44:25.300 I said she should be kicked off the team. 1.00

00:44:26.440 Annie Shute says, for what?

00:44:28.220 I don't understand.

00:44:28.900 I thought we are against canceling people.

00:44:31.120 Well, Annie, you're talking to a guy who literally has a segment on his show called the Daily Cancellation.

00:44:36.280 I cancel people daily.

00:44:37.720 That's why we call it the Daily Cancellation.

00:44:39.380 I never said I'm against canceling people.

00:44:41.100 I don't know where you got that from. 0.98

00:44:43.260 That's a thing that some silly conservatives say. 0.97

00:44:46.980 Oh, we shouldn't be canceling anyone. 0.95

00:44:48.960 No, I'm not against canceling.

00:44:50.560 I am not against canceling people in principle.

00:44:54.660 I am against canceling people for the wrong reasons.

00:44:57.940 That's what I'm against.

00:45:02.320 Okay?

00:45:04.280 And if by canceling we mean, what would we be canceling in this case?

00:45:08.580 Kick her off the team.

00:45:09.960 We shame her. 0.99

00:45:12.820 She should be shamed and reviled and kicked off the team. 0.96

00:45:16.880 If you want to call that canceling, fine.

00:45:20.840 But that is an inappropriate reaction to her behavior.

00:45:25.760 Her behavior was embarrassing and disgraceful.

00:45:29.260 And she has demonstrated that she despises the country that she's supposed to represent in the Olympics.

00:45:34.440 And we should not have athletes who openly despise our country representing us on the global stage in the Olympics.

00:45:40.940 So that is a reasonable, justified response.

00:45:48.240 I'm not against shaming people, calling for consequences for their actions.

00:45:56.560 The way some conservatives talk about it now, it's like they're pretending that they believe that nobody should ever be shamed for anything.

00:46:03.700 And no one should ever face any consequence.

00:46:05.520 Stop it.

00:46:07.300 Obviously, sometimes it's just, is this a warranted reaction or not?

00:46:14.440 What we refer to, when we refer to cancel culture, we're talking about an unwarranted reaction.

00:46:23.500 Where someone is facing unwarranted, overblown, out-of-proportion backlash or consequences for doing or saying something either that wasn't wrong or even if it was wrong, it doesn't, it should not warrant this kind of reaction.

00:46:45.820 But yeah, doing that as an Olympic athlete, up on the stage, on national TV, absolutely.

00:46:57.800 And we'd be doing her a favor.

00:46:59.140 She hates this country.

00:47:00.120 She shouldn't even want to represent us in the Olympics. 1.00

00:47:04.860 What are we, oppressive, bigoted, systemically racist country?

00:47:09.480 Why would you want to represent a country like that in the Olympics?

00:47:15.820 Elaine says, Matt, can you please call us sweet babies more often?

00:47:21.300 We miss it.

00:47:23.700 Well, look, the sweet baby gang is back together again.

00:47:27.940 I'll never leave you again, I promise.

00:47:30.360 Except for later on this week, I'll be leaving again, but I'll be back.

00:47:34.280 And then I'll leave periodically, but I'll always return to the sweet baby gang.

00:47:39.000 It's that much you can count on.

00:47:40.700 Um, Daniel says, Matt, all I want to know is, did you catch any fish on vacation?

00:47:46.860 I did catch, uh, a lot of fish.

00:47:49.800 I had a great day on the water, probably great week on the water.

00:47:52.600 I should say, uh, probably my largest large mouth that I caught was, uh, you know, is at least six pounds.

00:47:59.060 I'm going to call it seven.

00:48:00.320 I think it was fair to call it a seven pounder.

00:48:02.260 And, uh, it was, it was the, the ego stroke that I needed because I got to say here in Tennessee, I've been struggling mightily with fishing.

00:48:12.660 It's supposed to be, Tennessee is supposed to be a fishing Mecca, bass fishing Mecca.

00:48:18.000 One of the, one of the bass fishing capitals along with probably Texas.

00:48:21.420 And, um, but I have been doing terrible here and I began to suspect that the problem was me.

00:48:27.440 But then I go, and I was on vacation and I'm, we were out of, you know, we were up north and, uh, it let me know that the problem is not me.

00:48:36.180 Okay.

00:48:36.480 Aaron says, dear Matt, your Uranus joke almost killed me.

00:48:40.260 Seriously.

00:48:40.620 I was mowing my grass and laugh so hard, choking on my beer and almost hit a tree.

00:48:45.660 LOL.

00:48:46.120 Thank you for being the greatest commentator in the universe.

00:48:48.480 Well, I specifically said I was not making a Uranus joke.

00:48:51.080 I would never do.

00:48:52.260 I want to be very clear.

00:48:53.180 I did not make that joke.

00:48:54.800 I was saying that I wasn't making the joke.

00:48:57.440 I was making the joke in the context of saying how I'm not going to make it.

00:49:01.420 Okay.

00:49:02.980 I'm far too mature for that.

00:49:06.340 Um, Alan says the thing that infuriates me about this routine of finding gay characters where there are none is that it contradicts the notion of the feminist left, that friendships between men should display more kindness and explicit affection.

00:49:21.000 But when two male characters do that, they obsess with their friendship, declaring that, of course, they're lovers.

00:49:26.680 What else could they be?

00:49:27.640 A great example is Frodo and Sam.

00:49:29.920 The radical left just love these kinds of contradicting one, two punches to beat you into submission and indoctrination. 0.67

00:49:36.220 Uh, yeah, that is a clear hypocrisy, a clear double standard. 0.56

00:49:40.380 It doesn't make any sense.

00:49:41.440 It's a contradiction, but you're also correct that this is about beating us into submission.

00:49:46.080 The double standard, as we said, is the point.

00:49:49.680 Um, Mike says bullets have gotten expensive, so I'm keeping my death threats to a minimum.

00:49:55.000 Well, that's, that's one reason.

00:49:57.020 That's one motivation.

00:49:57.740 Our current situation with ammo does kind of remind me a little bit of what was the old Chris Rock joke where he says that, uh, he would let everyone keep their guns, but make bullets cost like $500 a piece.

00:50:11.360 So that if someone gets shot, you really know they had it coming.

00:50:15.180 Chris Rock does the joke better than I do, but, uh, finally, another comment says, I'm commenting with feedback for the producers.

00:50:21.720 The fake photo of Matt's family on the alternate camera angle is blocking our view of Matt's beautiful biceps and the twisted steel of his muscles.

00:50:30.140 Please remove the photo.

00:50:31.320 Thank you.

00:50:33.360 Well, these are my friends and I would never take the photo down unless it blocks the view of my muscles, in which case get out of here.

00:50:41.780 I just broke it.

00:50:43.600 It's a little more aggressive than it needs to be, but I just, I can't help myself.

00:50:47.080 I don't know my own strength.

00:50:48.620 Now you have, now you can see.

00:50:50.020 Now you get that angle that you've been, the bicep.

00:50:53.200 We could call that the bicep camera really is what we should call it.

00:50:56.340 If you enjoy your history censorship free, which is hard to find these days, uh, then you need to make sure you're a daily wire member right now.

00:51:04.460 Why?

00:51:05.100 Well, because the daily wire is now streaming created equal, which is the story of Supreme court justice, Clarence Thomas and his journey from humble beginnings in a segregated South to the highest court in the land, which by the way, he was the second black American to ever make this journey.

00:51:19.700 Now you don't hear about that as much in the media.

00:51:21.920 The documentary is only available to daily wire members.

00:51:23.980 So if you want more stories that diverge from the accepted narrative, the political narrative, go to dailywire.com slash subscribing at 20% off your new membership with code justice.

00:51:33.740 Also, I got to let you know that daily wire has several open positions for our in-house team in Nashville.

00:51:39.620 Um, and, uh, I, I told you about a position we had a few weeks ago and actually there was someone listening to the show and now they're a part of the team.

00:51:47.680 Okay.

00:51:48.040 I'm changing lives over here on the Matt wall show.

00:51:50.120 That might be the one and only life I've ever changed, but Hey, let's try again.

00:51:53.480 This week, we're highlighting a few openings in our post production department, including a video editor position, as well as an assistant video editor position.

00:52:00.460 The video editor will use his or her technical and creative abilities to cut and assemble raw video footage from various daily wire products.

00:52:07.320 Projects like the Matt wall show means you get to stare at my face while you're editing video.

00:52:13.000 I think I just scared away every potential applicant.

00:52:15.620 I'm sorry for that, uh, to creatively support and emphasize subject matter in videos through compelling, uh, editing and storytelling.

00:52:21.960 A minimum of two years, previous professional video editing experience is required for this opportunity.

00:52:25.880 The assistant video editor will assist our team of video editors by pulling and assembling media cuts, performing quality control on cuts and more previous video editing experience, as well as strong organizational skills are required for this opportunity.

00:52:39.700 Uh, these are full time in office positions in Nashville, Tennessee.

00:52:44.340 If you want to move to Nashville, now's your chance.

00:52:47.980 It's 98 degrees with humidity of 150% right now.

00:52:51.300 Who wouldn't want some of that candidates, but we're inside.

00:52:54.780 We have air conditioning.

00:52:55.480 So don't worry about it.

00:52:56.280 Candidates should apply through dailywire.com slash careers.

00:52:59.020 A link to your real and or portfolios required for consideration for both of these positions.

00:53:03.820 Now let's get to our daily cancellation.

00:53:05.320 In a stunning display of courage, a white British TikTok influencer has revealed to the world that he identifies as Korean.

00:53:17.200 Ollie London is his name.

00:53:18.360 He's been getting plastic surgery for several years in an effort to, as a Newsweek article puts it, resemble their K-pop idol Jimin of BTS.

00:53:26.700 I have only a vague idea what any of those words mean, but the upshot is that now London, who also identifies as non-binary, has completed his surgical transition and is ready to fully live his life as the gender fluid Korean that he's always been deep down.

00:53:40.300 For too long, he has had a Korean trapped inside his body. 1.00

00:53:43.400 And now, with $150,000 of assistance from cosmetic surgeons, his true East Asian self has emerged like a bruised and swollen butterfly from a fleshy cocoon. 1.00

00:53:55.480 In a video recorded just after his latest procedure, Ollie explains that his surgically adjusted eyes and nose and other features now confirm him as a tried and true Korean.

00:54:08.020 And I think the case that he makes is pretty bulletproof.

00:54:11.300 Let's listen.

00:54:11.800 Hi guys, I'm finally Korean.

00:54:18.440 I've transitioned.

00:54:19.900 I'm so, so happy I've completed my look.

00:54:22.580 I'm finally Korean, guys.

00:54:23.840 I have the eyes.

00:54:25.020 Just had a brow lift as well.

00:54:27.140 So I'm so happy.

00:54:28.600 Finally, I've been trapped in the wrong body for eight years.

00:54:32.080 And that's the worst feeling in the world when you're trapped and you don't feel like you can be yourself.

00:54:37.420 But finally, I'm Korean.

00:54:38.580 I can be myself.

00:54:40.020 And I'm so, so happy.

00:54:41.580 I mean, he looks happy.

00:54:45.120 Finally, he is Korean.

00:54:46.540 It's as simple as that.

00:54:47.380 Bigots might voice disagreement, insisting that one must actually be from Korea or at least have Korean citizenship in order to be considered in any sense Korean.

00:54:56.240 They might even argue that surgically narrowing your eyes to resemble Asian facial features not only fails to make you Asian, but is also highly insulting and degrading to the real Asians of which you are not one.

00:55:07.200 But Ali definitely countered these arguments in a series of tweets disarming and debunking such discriminatory talking points.

00:55:14.220 He wrote, quote, being transsexual is the same as being transracial because you're born in the wrong body. 0.66

00:55:19.720 In other tweets, he announced that, quote, trans rights are human rights and that, quote, there are millions of underrepresented transracial people in the world.

00:55:28.060 And I want to elevate their voices and help them live their truth and be themselves.

00:55:33.280 Now, these may be more assertions than arguments, more spitting slogans than making a case.

00:55:38.420 But if that's been sufficient for transgender advocates, then why shouldn't it work for a transracial pioneer?

00:55:43.920 Driving the point home, Ali, I think, really vanquished his critics once and for all by dropping the ultimate progressive trump card in a different video.

00:55:53.780 Listen, this is my reason for showing the flag and I do identify as Korean.

00:55:58.620 This is my choice. This is my decision.

00:56:00.500 It's not hurting anyone.

00:56:03.680 There you go.

00:56:05.260 His decision, his choice, not hurting anyone.

00:56:08.800 That's really it, right?

00:56:09.820 In the age of psychological men, when all that matters is an individual's mental states and all that you must do to justify an action is claim that the action makes you feel good and causes no direct physical harm to anyone else, whether or not the latter is actually true.

00:56:23.500 The validity of a white man's transformation in that context into a genderless Korean cannot be denied. 0.78

00:56:30.660 Certainly, if you accept trans ideology, then you have absolutely no logical basis for denying Ali's truth,

00:56:37.420 a truth which is grounded in the exact same premise, a truth which must indeed be true if the premise is true.

00:56:46.020 And the premise, to remind you, is that a person's physical, biological identity is totally determined by how they feel about themselves.

00:56:56.120 A man who feels like a woman is not merely a feminine man, but is actually a literal woman.

00:57:00.920 All of the physical barriers which have for millennia served to separate men from women are dissolved and discarded.

00:57:08.120 Biology is subordinated to the emotional whims of the individual. 0.76

00:57:12.920 Why should Ali's emotional whims not be afforded the same supernatural weight?

00:57:18.040 His case, based on the logic of progressivism, is airtight.

00:57:24.720 Based on the logic of, well, logic, it's not at all, but based on the logic of progressivism, it is.

00:57:31.660 And yet the left has not accepted him.

00:57:33.880 Comments on the internet about his racial transition have been overwhelmingly negative.

00:57:38.440 The Daily Wire documents a few of them.

00:57:40.080 Reading now, it says,

00:57:41.240 I'm sorry, but you can't just choose to be Korean.

00:57:44.000 It's a nationality and ethnicity, tweeted one trans-identifying account.

00:57:48.540 You have to be born Korean. 1.00

00:57:50.260 Just because you like the culture doesn't mean you can take it and become it.

00:57:54.520 There is a way to appreciate a different culture.

00:57:57.040 This is not it.

00:57:57.820 As a Korean non-binary person, I haven't really talked about the Ali London thing,

00:58:03.500 but the fact that they're acting like it's genuine, that it's part of a journey due to an identity issue, really irks me.

00:58:09.380 It's a mockery of trans people. 1.00

00:58:11.480 It's cultural appropriation, posted another person.

00:58:14.260 Finally, one Korean user replied that while he celebrated London's new gender identity,

00:58:19.220 it's wrong for him to claim a new ethnic identity.

00:58:21.360 Korean isn't a pronoun, nor is it a persona you decide to suddenly take on because of K-pop hype.

00:58:28.260 I'm glad you identify as non-binary, and I applaud you for being transparent about that,

00:58:32.560 but I can't commend you for taking a whole ethnicity and treating it like a persona.

00:58:38.540 Hmm.

00:58:39.860 Taking a whole ethnicity and treating it like a persona.

00:58:42.300 Almost like when someone takes a biological sex and treats it like, I don't know.

00:58:48.600 An article in the left-wing paper mag written by Sandra Song, editor-at-large and a fellow Korean,

00:58:54.220 is just one long transphobic harangue against the entire transracial community.

00:58:59.200 Song writes, quote, 0.91

00:59:00.000 As someone who actually has Korean DNA, though, I can say that some white fetishist,

00:59:06.260 as proven by those 15 surgeries to look like Jimin, 0.91

00:59:10.140 suddenly deeming themselves Korean is incredibly offensive,

00:59:13.600 especially since it effectively trivializes our identities because they're suddenly trendy.

00:59:18.340 Apparently, though, that doesn't really register for Ali,

00:59:20.720 who's continually been a notable example of Western fetishization

00:59:23.920 that's objectified us based on South Korea's recent contributions to global culture.

00:59:28.700 So yeah, obviously it's pretty sus that a white person is saying they're Korean.

00:59:35.260 Now, leaving aside the embarrassing fact that the magazine's editor-at-large

00:59:38.840 wrote and published the words, so yeah, and pretty sus,

00:59:42.540 the real problem is that she would accuse a person of fetishizing

00:59:46.200 and trivializing her identity simply because he is cartoonishly mimicking her appearance

00:59:50.920 and claiming that his degraded mockery is as authentic as her own identity.

00:59:55.480 I mean, she's essentially arguing that his imitation,

00:59:58.700 is an imitation and thus cannot be as valid or real as the thing he is imitating.

01:00:05.840 And her points make a lot of sense, come to think of it,

01:00:09.800 but unfortunately, she, like nearly everyone else in her ideological camp,

01:00:14.160 has already thrown open the doors and invited men to fetishize 1.00

01:00:18.320 and trivialize and mimic her identity.

01:00:21.140 It's just that she wishes the mimicry would stay contained to her sex, not her ethnicity.

01:00:27.780 The problem, though, is that sex is far more objective

01:00:31.820 and far less fluid than ethnicity.

01:00:35.800 If the former can be erased, then so can the latter.

01:00:39.320 Ali London knows that, and now he's entitled to be seen as fully Korean,

01:00:45.560 just as Korean as any other Korean.

01:00:47.700 Indeed, he may be even more Korean than cis Koreans, like Sandra Song. 0.62

01:00:53.000 I mean, you can make that argument.

01:00:55.880 This at least was a choice that he has made, bravely.

01:01:00.240 If cis Koreans don't want to tolerate or accept trans Koreans,

01:01:04.520 that's their problem and their bigotry they have to work through.

01:01:08.200 It'd be better for them to just remain silent in the meantime

01:01:10.600 while the march of progress continues

01:01:12.400 and all objective markers of identity are erased

01:01:15.740 and human existence is reduced to a murky puddle of ambiguity.

01:01:20.500 That is the world the left wanted, and now they have it.

01:01:24.660 Congratulations.

01:01:25.180 And that is why the bigots who would deny the validity

01:01:28.680 of Ali London's Korean identity are today absolutely

01:01:32.280 and with great righteous rage canceled.

01:01:38.680 And we'll leave it there for today.

01:01:40.480 Thanks for watching.

01:01:41.140 Thanks for listening.
