00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, squad member Cori Bush gives a shockingly honest answer when asked
00:00:05.300 why she uses private security, even as she calls for defunding the police.
00:00:09.840 You should hear this and we'll play it today. We'll talk about the lessons we might learn from
00:00:13.020 it. Also, CNN runs a story that unintentionally reveals the psychological abuse that some COVID
00:00:18.280 panic parents are subjecting their children to. It's worse than you might think. And Ron DeSantis
00:00:23.160 again proves why he should be the 2024 frontrunner. Plus, in our daily cancellation, we have a story
00:00:28.760 about a trans YouTuber named Chris Chan that is so outrageous that if I summarized it right now,
00:00:34.840 you would think I was making it up. So you'll have to stick around to hear that. And much more today
00:00:38.380 on the Matt Wall Show. These days, you know, a lot of us spend way too much time staring at screens.
00:00:52.880 I know that I certainly do. Although for a lot of us, it's also part of our job where our job is
00:00:57.900 contained within the screen. And so we have to stare at it. Or if you're watching this show right
00:01:02.280 now, you know, you really have to stare at the screen. You must. So the problem is, though, that,
00:01:08.460 you know, the blue light damages our eyes and can lead to blurred vision, headaches, dry, watery eyes.
00:01:13.920 A lot of people suffering from this because of all this time staring at screens. And that's why you
00:01:18.180 need blue blocks. Blue blocks was created to fix this problem and block out the damaging blue light
00:01:23.040 with high quality lenses. Unlike other types of blue light glasses, blue blocks are evidence-based
00:01:27.460 and made under optics, optic laboratory conditions in Australia. The founders were unhappy with the
00:01:32.620 quality and lack of science behind leading blue light blocking glasses brands. And so that's why
00:01:37.880 they made blue blocks. And the difference between them and some other brands is that they actually
00:01:42.220 work. They also have over 40 stylish frames for every need. So you don't need to sacrifice the style
00:01:48.280 for the functionality. You kind of get both here and they come in prescription, non-prescription
00:01:51.900 and readers. Blue blocks is also giving back in partnership with restoring vision for each
00:01:55.840 pair of blue blocks glasses. Purchase, they'll donate a pair of reading glasses to someone in
00:01:59.060 need. So go to blueblocks.com slash Walsh. Use coupon code Walsh to save 15%. That's blueblocks.com

00:02:12.560 Before we really begin today, I must again harass you with some shameless self-promotion. If
00:02:18.140 you have not yet signed up for my email newsletter, the Matt Walsh report, then please do that
00:02:22.280 immediately. Otherwise, I'll have to keep talking about it. Also, we have achieved some major
00:02:26.600 milestones just this week as I crossed 100,000 followers on Instagram, 600,000 followers on
00:02:31.260 Twitter, and 800,000 on Facebook a few weeks ago. These are without a doubt the greatest
00:02:36.440 accomplishments of my life, which perhaps means that I have lived a terribly sad and pathetic
00:02:41.280 life. But be that as it may, make sure to follow me on all those platforms, those three
00:02:46.360 platforms. Follow me on all platforms everywhere. Just follow me everywhere, except please don't
00:02:51.160 follow me in real life or else I'll be forced to call the police. Speaking of the police, that
00:02:55.200 provides us with a seamless transition into our lead topic today, which revolves around
00:02:58.460 defund the police activist, Democratic representative, racist, shill, abject moron,
00:03:04.180 and revolting disgrace of a human being, Cori Bush. She was, you may recall, most recently seen in a
00:03:10.380 makeshift pretend homeless encampment surrounded by empty bags of Oreos and Fritos, calling for the
00:03:17.660 CDC to illegally seize private property from middle-class landowners. After succeeding in
00:03:22.220 that mission, Bush appeared on CBS to celebrate this further legal persecution of the middle-class.
00:03:28.880 During the course of the interview, the subject turned to her advocacy for the defund the police
00:03:34.260 movement, and she was asked about a recent report which seems to hint at some hypocrisy on Bush's part
00:03:39.960 when it comes to this. Before we get to her answer, let me read a little bit of this report. This is
00:03:44.580 from Fox News. It says, Missouri Representative Cori Bush spent nearly $70,000 on private security over
00:03:50.620 the past three months as she advocated for defunding the police, according to campaign filings.
00:03:56.160 Bush's campaign spent or sent $54,000 in payments between April 15th and June 28th for security services
00:04:03.180 to RS&T Security Consulting, a New York-based firm with a mysterious online presence. The Democrats'
00:04:09.620 campaign also paid $15,000 to Nathaniel Davis for security services, and the $69,000 of security
00:04:16.100 payments accounted for more than a third of Bush's $197,000 in campaign expenditures during the second
00:04:21.940 quarter. It's also nearly double what her campaign spent on private security during the first quarter
00:04:27.400 of 2021. She's also spent tax money on private security as well. Now, this, just so you know,
00:04:33.320 is a lot for someone to spend on private security. Even her fellow squad members have paid only a
00:04:40.480 fraction of that total, but she's spent more than all of them combined, a lot more. But whether she's
00:04:47.700 forking over a lot or a little or something in between, the greater point is that this woman seeks
00:04:52.020 to deprive poor and middle-class people of the safety and security that she obviously feels herself
00:04:57.240 entitled to. And that brings us to the CBS interview in which Cori Bush was blindsided when
00:05:02.680 the anchors posed an actual real question asking her to explain the contrast between her defund the
00:05:08.600 police position and her exorbitant personal security expenditures. You have to feel for Bush a little
00:05:13.780 bit here because she wasn't expecting someone on her own team to put her on the spot like that. So
00:05:18.500 she was obviously taken a little bit off guard, and yet her answer is extremely revealing
00:05:22.940 and worth listening to almost in its entirety. So this clip is a little bit long, but I think
00:05:28.160 it's worth your time. Let's take a listen. They would rather I die? You would rather me die? Is
00:05:33.980 that what you want to see? You want to see me die? You know, because that could be the alternative.
00:05:38.480 So either I spent $70,000 on private security over the last few months, and I'm here standing now and
00:05:46.580 able to speak able to help save 11 million people from being evicted. Or I could possibly have a death
00:05:54.740 attempt on my life. And we're also talking about the same exact people who say horrible things about
00:06:01.060 me who lie to get to build up their base. And then because they lie about me, I receive death threats.
00:06:09.300 I have private security because my body is worth being on this planet right now. I have private
00:06:15.620 security because they, the white supremacist, racist narrative that they drive into this country,
00:06:23.300 the fact that they don't care that this black woman that has put her life on the line, they can't match
00:06:29.700 my energy, first of all. This black woman who puts her life on the line, they don't care that I could be
00:06:37.540 taken out of here. They actually probably are okay with that. But this is the thing.
00:06:42.180 I won't let them get that off. You can't get that off. I'm going to make sure I have security because
00:06:46.740 I know I have had attempts on my life and I have too much work to do. There are too many people
00:06:51.700 that need help right now for me to, to allow that. So if I end up spending 200,000, if I spend 10, 10,
00:06:58.740 10 more dollars on it, you know what? I get to be here to do the work. So suck it up and defunding
00:07:04.340 the police has to happen. We need to defund the police and put that money into social safety nets
00:07:09.780 because we're trying to save lives.
00:07:14.420 My God, what a moron. What a very stupid person they've elected to Congress there.
00:07:21.220 She said attempts on her, there have been attempts on her life. So people have actually tried to kill
00:07:25.300 her and, and, and the, that's private because she says that there's been attempts on her life.
00:07:30.420 And if it wasn't for the private security, she wouldn't be on this earth right now. So
00:07:33.700 she's saying that people have actually come up and tried to kill her and the private security had to
00:07:37.860 step in and save their life. Did, when did that happen? I don't remember hearing about that.
00:07:42.820 An actual assassination attempt seems like that would have made the news. I don't remember hearing
00:07:46.660 anything about that, but I don't doubt that Cori Bush gets death threats. If that's what she means by,
00:07:51.540 now that's not the same thing as an attempt on your life. A threat is not the same thing as an attempt.
00:07:55.540 Um, although I don't deny that the, uh, the, I don't, I don't, uh, doubt that those death threats
00:08:00.900 happen. I'm also not impressed by that fact, frankly, because everybody on the public stage
00:08:07.380 gets death threats. Um, I get them. I've had crazed leftists threatened to murder me and my
00:08:14.020 children. I've had threats even more graphic and gruesome than that targeted, not just at me,
00:08:18.980 but at my family and my kids. And I'm not even going to repeat them. I could tell you that
00:08:23.460 any time I've run a foul, especially of the BLM mob in particular, there's normally at least one
00:08:28.500 person from that crowd who will step up to send me a message threatening to shoot me in the face.
00:08:32.980 Now this is not a contest, but the point is that these Democrats who allegedly get death threats
00:08:38.740 cannot act as though they're special or unique in that category. It's certainly bad.
00:08:43.540 It's a bad thing for anyone to get death threats. It's a bad thing that nobody can seem to voice an
00:08:47.780 opinion in this country publicly without have, without having some mob of people from one side or another
00:08:52.500 threatening to murder them for it. And we could have a conversation about that. We could talk
00:08:56.900 about how we've reached this point as a society and, and, and, um, how much of it can be blamed
00:09:03.140 on the casual anonymity afforded by the internet. I think a lot of it can be in my opinion, but the
00:09:07.940 conversation can't be fruitful if it's been decided from the outset that somehow it must all tie back to
00:09:13.060 white supremacy. And that's why almost no conversation in this country is fruitful today because it's
00:09:18.740 decided from the outset that white supremacy must be the answer to every question. It's like trying
00:09:24.180 to play a game of clue. If the rules stipulate that the murderer always has to be, you know,
00:09:28.580 Colonel mustard with a candlestick in the kitchen, it just, it doesn't work. It doesn't go anywhere.
00:09:33.220 Now that aside, the real issue here, of course, is that Cori Bush believes that she is deserving
00:09:39.220 of a level of protection and security that the average family of nameless, faceless peons does not
00:09:45.940 warrant. The only thing unusual about that is that she's so explicit about it. She sees no problem
00:09:54.180 with standing in front of a camera and saying, yeah, my life is important because the world needs
00:09:58.580 me around, but, uh, the same doesn't apply for everyone. This is a common theme with the Democrat
00:10:04.980 party and prominent leftists in general. We could run down a laundry list. They want to defund the police
00:10:10.820 while still utilizing private protection for themselves. They want to ban guns while surrounding
00:10:15.060 themselves with armed men. They want you to reduce your carbon footprint while using private jets
00:10:20.260 and living in lavish energy, inefficient houses. They extol the virtues of socialism while reaping
00:10:25.620 personal profits. They tell you to wear a mask and socially distance while throwing maskless parties
00:10:30.340 for themselves. I mean, the list goes on. And I think there are a couple of things for us to understand
00:10:36.020 about this, about these double standards. One is that the vision of life preached by the leftist
00:10:44.260 politician is just that a vision, a phantom, something lingering in the ether, an abstraction.
00:10:51.620 Nobody actually lives it. Nobody can live it. This is different from what you find on the right. Now,
00:10:57.860 it's true that plenty of Republicans are sniveling hypocrites. No question. There are many examples
00:11:03.460 that come immediately to mind of a, you know, for example, a family values conservative who lives a life
00:11:08.580 behind the scenes, which would seem to indicate that he doesn't value family at all, least of all his own
00:11:12.580 family. But even so, the basic vision of life that conservatives promote or should promote anyway,
00:11:21.540 is one that certainly can be lived and is lived and has been lived. It is practical and attainable,
00:11:29.060 and it leads to real happiness and fulfillment. Speaking just for myself as a conservative, what I promote
00:11:34.180 is a family and faith-centered life where the home, mother, father, children, lie at the foundation,
00:11:40.260 and society is structured around protecting and sustaining this foundational unit, and especially
00:11:45.140 protecting the children, both physically and morally. This is not the kind of society we have right now,
00:11:50.820 and many people don't live this way, but we know that it is possible to have this sort of society,
00:11:55.860 and it is possible to live this way because this was the way of Western civilization for countless
00:12:01.300 centuries before we came along and screwed everything up. Now, on the left, it's a different story.
00:12:08.340 They say, among other things, they want to dismantle the patriarchal nuclear family. They want to
00:12:13.860 dismantle the traditional rule of law by defunding and abolishing the police. They want to abolish free
00:12:19.620 market capitalism. They want to abolish any sense of traditional morality, abolish biological sex, abolish
00:12:24.900 gender roles entirely, turn away from modern technological advancements, which they say are leading to a
00:12:30.900 planetary cataclysm. This is not only a hideous plan for the future and one which, in attempting it,
00:12:38.180 can only lead to despair. It's also not really possible. It's certainly not possible to have a
00:12:43.380 functioning society or live a functioning life while demolishing all of these things which serve as the
00:12:48.580 pillars of such a society and a life. These leftists do not live in a manner that is consistent with their
00:12:55.700 professed worldview because their professed worldview is objectively insane and cannot actually be lived.
00:13:05.540 So that's one thing to keep in mind. The other is that the hypocrisy, the double standard, the
00:13:10.980 more for me, less for you attitude from Cori Bush and her comrades is the point. She's not shy about it.
00:13:20.580 She's not upset when we point it out. The point is that she is superior. She is better. She is more
00:13:28.580 important. Her life is more valuable. So when you say, hey, Cori, you're acting like your life is more
00:13:33.620 valuable. She responds, yeah, thank you for noticing. Now you're starting to get it. She wants you to see it.
00:13:41.940 She wants it to seep into your consciousness. She wants you to come to believe that you really are
00:13:48.580 something less than her. You know, when people use the word Orwellian these days, they're normally
00:13:56.200 referring to the book 1984, which was no doubt prophetic in many ways. But a book that seems even
00:14:01.640 more relevant to our time is Orwell's Animal Farm, his allegorical satire of communism. And someone on
00:14:07.420 Twitter reminds me of this passage, when the pigs who are the communist leaders of the farm are
00:14:14.020 revealed to have been helping themselves to better and more bountiful rations than the other animals,
00:14:18.160 even as they preach equality and everyone should get the same and so on. One of the pigs, to try to
00:14:24.600 calm the mob, endeavors to explain why they are entitled to more and better. And this is what he
00:14:30.200 says. He says, quote, comrades, you do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing this in a spirit of
00:14:36.080 selfishness and privilege. Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. I dislike them myself.
00:14:41.480 Our whole object in taking these things is to preserve our health. Milk and apples, this has
00:14:45.740 been proven by science, comrades, contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a pig.
00:14:51.180 We pigs are brain workers. The whole management and organization of this farm depend on us.
00:14:55.580 Day and night, we are watching over your welfare. It is for your sake that we drink the milk and eat
00:15:01.020 those apples. I mean, that is almost verbatim, just take milk and apples out and put private
00:15:07.460 security in. It's almost exactly what Cori Bush said. Yes, it's for our sake that our betters help
00:15:15.140 themselves to rights and privileges that they seek to deny us. That was the message from the pigs on the
00:15:21.140 farm. And it's the message from the pigs in Congress. And they hope you hear it and take it
00:15:27.840 to heart. Now let's get to our five headlines. Well, you guys know one of my favorite sponsors
00:15:39.000 that I love telling you about is Charity Mobile. And why do I love Charity Mobile so much? Because
00:15:43.680 one of the reasons is it's a matter of exhaustion. I'm exhausted by all these companies out there
00:15:48.420 who hate me. Even as I give them money as a customer, they hate me and they're working
00:15:56.080 against me. They're using that money to work against our cause in the culture. Well, that's
00:16:01.060 not the case for Charity Mobile. Charity Mobile is the pro-life phone company because 5% of your
00:16:06.360 monthly plan price goes to the pro-life, pro-family charity of your choice, which means that you can
00:16:10.640 switch to a company that shares your beliefs and won't cancel or censor you for them. In fact,
00:16:14.900 they're going to support you for them. And there's a lot of other great perks that come
00:16:19.060 with it because it's a great service. New activations and eligible accounts get a free
00:16:22.020 cell phone with free activation and free shipping. You also get free usage alerts. You get a free app
00:16:26.400 to monitor your usage and pay your bills and much more. A lot of convenience there as well. No
00:16:30.740 contracts, no termination fees, no risk with a 30-day guarantee. You also get nationwide service on
00:16:35.960 America's most reliable network. I've never had any problems with my Charity Mobile phone in terms
00:16:40.760 of service. Um, so you can turn everyday living into effortless giving for the charity of your
00:16:45.180 choice. Call them at 1-877-474-3662 or chat with them online at charitymobile.com. Uh, by the way,
00:16:53.640 I want to thank everyone for, I talked yesterday about the, this situation that I'm in, uh, personal
00:16:58.520 crisis I'm in, uh, revolving around a dog and how this, this pressure campaign that's being waged
00:17:02.720 against me by, by, uh, my wife and children, uh, to get a dog. And, uh, many, many comments, many people
00:17:12.480 leaving comments, sending me messages and emails, uh, giving me advice and tips and suggestions on
00:17:18.300 like what kind of dog to get. I said that, that, you know, if I was going to get a dog, it would have
00:17:21.940 to be a dog that could provide some kind of service to the family. We don't need another creature lying
00:17:28.480 around to be taken care of. If they're not contributing, everyone has to contribute,
00:17:31.780 including, um, the, uh, we already have a cat that does absolutely nothing for us whatsoever.
00:17:37.560 So a lot of suggestions and what I'm like, what kind of dog could fit that a good family dog,
00:17:42.780 but also a dog that could provide some protection, be a good guard dog. And what I am getting from
00:17:49.160 taking all of these pieces of advice, and I did read a lot of it. And what I'm getting from it is that
00:17:54.280 every dog you can name is perfect for what I'm looking for, but also horrible for what I'm looking
00:18:01.320 for. So that's what I'm getting from the, that's the, that's the dog owner advice. That's, that's
00:18:05.660 what I've discovered. Every single dog is great, but also terrible, which is sort of what I already
00:18:11.120 thought. So it's kind of confirming my priors, I guess. All right. CNN put out another hit piece
00:18:16.980 on Ron DeSantis, but, um, what's supposed to be an expose of DeSantis is really an expose of
00:18:23.480 horribly abusive parents. And, uh, this is, this goes on for a little bit, but this starts with a,
00:18:32.660 uh, you know, a story about one family in Florida and, uh, a child in this family who is like reaching
00:18:41.800 out and demanding that, um, that all the kids at her school should have to wear masks. Anyway,
00:18:47.820 we'll just play it. And, uh, you can see it for yourself. Here it is.
00:18:50.820 Dear superintendent, Dr. Green and school board members. I would like to encourage the
00:18:56.540 requirement of masks at school in Duval County. In a letter to school leaders,
00:19:01.160 Lila Hartley explains what worries her. She's 12 years old, about to be in seventh grade in Duval
00:19:06.640 County vaccinated, but her little brother, 10 year old will, isn't old enough to get the vaccine.
00:19:12.760 I'm so worried that if masks are not required, my brother could go to school one day and the next
00:19:18.380 to be dying in the hospital at school, I wear two masks because I want to make sure I don't
00:19:24.560 get sick. Their father, Matt Hartley wants Duval County public schools to mandate masks.
00:19:30.880 I care about your kid as much as I care about my kid. And I don't want any kid to,
00:19:35.680 to risk being hospitalized or getting long COVID symptoms or just being a part of our community
00:19:42.260 spread. Mandating masks, however, would defy an executive order signed by governor Ron DeSantis,
00:19:50.680 banning schools from forcing students to wear masks.
00:19:55.020 So the media, again, trotting a child out with, with the eager consent of, of the parents and hiding
00:20:03.380 behind the child. Like this is supposed to prove something. Yeah. The, the, the little girl, 12 years
00:20:10.940 old is worried that her, what her 10 year old brother is going to die of COVID. And yet she's
00:20:18.520 worried about that because of her insane, psychologically abusive parents. That's all
00:20:25.660 her, the child's worries and concerns. And I feel a lot of sympathy for that kid. And in a sane society,
00:20:32.920 CPS, after that story, CPS would be stepping in and at a minimum doing a welfare check on those,
00:20:38.300 on those children, if not removing them from the home. And that's not an exaggeration. This is,
00:20:44.120 this is just extremely disturbing and extreme levels of psychological abuse that they're
00:20:52.160 undergoing. That's all that's proven by the child's worries and concerns.
00:20:58.200 Because in reality, of course, statistically, and based on everything we know about this virus and
00:21:04.180 have known from the beginning, there is almost no chance that her 10 year old brother is going to
00:21:09.700 die of the virus. That is nearly certain that it won't happen. The only reason I say nearly is
00:21:16.080 because like anything is possible, right? You could be walking down the street and a tiny space rock
00:21:23.020 from outer space could come and hit you in the head and kill you. It could happen. But I would say
00:21:28.320 walking down the street, it is nearly certain that it won't happen. But what if there were parents
00:21:37.400 that had their kids wear football helmets everywhere they go? Because there might be a space rock that
00:21:44.640 comes and flies out of the sky and hits them in the head. What would we say about that? And they even
00:21:51.600 have to wear the helmets in their homes because, you know, the rock could go through the ceiling.
00:21:56.160 And it's not just space rocks. I mean, there are many different things that could potentially
00:22:01.800 fall out of the sky. You never know. People are killed. Thousands of people across the world are
00:22:09.540 killed every year by things falling on them, different sorts of things. But what if what if it was a
00:22:17.500 parents who, because of that concern, had their kids wear football helmets everywhere they go?
00:22:25.000 There would be, I think, a consensus among all rational people that these parents are crazy,
00:22:37.320 are deeply disturbed. And, you know, those kids are in a potentially are certainly in an abusive
00:22:46.100 situation. It's like a, it's a form of Munchausen by proxy. Pretend making your kid feel as though
00:22:56.520 they're sick or, or, or might become deathly sick, even though there's almost no chance of it.
00:23:04.060 So they have their child wear two masks to school all day. And then if you're just listening to the
00:23:10.680 audio podcast, you didn't see the visual there of this family sitting around their dinner table,
00:23:16.280 playing a board game at night and everyone in the family is masked in their home. That means that
00:23:22.160 those kids, he wears two masks to school. He's double masked all day, every day, every waking hour of the
00:23:33.040 day, apparently. Oh, but of course, we're not allowed to question the, if there's any health
00:23:42.520 consequences of that. We can't even, I literally can't question it. YouTube would shut the show down
00:23:48.940 if I did. If I were, if hypothetically, if I were to speculate that maybe it might do some kind of
00:24:01.120 harm to a child to put a cloth mask on them and keep it on them all day, every day with germs and
00:24:09.640 dirt and spit and sweat accumulating in that thing, which they are breathing in all day for fear of a
00:24:15.580 virus that has almost no chance of doing them any serious harm whatsoever. If I were to speculate
00:24:21.200 about that, it would be a misinformation and they would take the show off the channel. If I were to
00:24:28.860 speculate, some people would speculate. You know, there, there are some people out there who would
00:24:35.200 say you're doing a lot more damage to children, a lot more harm than good. You are damaged. This is
00:24:40.400 physically unhealthy. Some people would say there are those who say that I may or may not agree with
00:24:48.880 those people. All right. Jen Psaki offered her justification for Biden extending the eviction
00:24:56.320 moratorium, even though he'd already said it wasn't legal to do so. And there's, there's really
00:25:02.880 no good answer she can give here because this was, it's, it's pretty straightforward. He said,
00:25:07.020 I can't do it. It's illegal. And then he did it, but she makes an attempt here to explain,
00:25:12.380 to wiggle her way out of this. And here's how that goes. After the president was clear that it
00:25:17.180 wasn't legal. Gene Sperling was clear that it wasn't legal. Is this a roll the dice and see if
00:25:22.320 it gets challenged positions from an administration that may be doing something it knows is not on legal
00:25:27.820 standing? Well, the president would not have supported moving forward with any action where he wasn't,
00:25:34.000 didn't feel there was legal standing and legal support. We obviously don't control what the
00:25:40.000 courts do. And we, we have of course seen what the Supreme court decided and how they ruled,
00:25:46.000 which was not related to public health, as you well know, Kelly, and was related to the relationship
00:25:50.520 between the landlord and the renter. But this is different in that it is more targeted. It is focused
00:25:58.320 on counties with higher substantial case rates, uh, uh, to protect renters and, and CDC ultimately
00:26:04.300 decided, decided to adopt it. I would also note that the conditions have changed, uh, the rise of
00:26:09.100 the Delta variant, especially in communities where there are large numbers of unvaccinated individuals,
00:26:13.880 where there are growing case numbers is certainly something that has raised the alarm for us. It has
00:26:19.000 raised the alarm for members of Congress, and it has certainly, uh, added to the need to take this
00:26:24.740 additional step. Oh, okay. Conditions have changed and that's why conditions changed. What they changed
00:26:32.840 in 12 hours. They changed between the time when Biden said he couldn't do it. It's illegal. And then
00:26:39.820 when he did it, because we're talking about less than a day in between those two events, they changed.
00:26:47.600 What, what changed? What exactly changed? What are you talking about? And then she also says,
00:26:53.700 this is targeted and focused. It's a different eviction moratorium because it's, it's a targeted
00:26:59.300 and focused moratorium. Even if it was, even if that was the case, it still would not be a legal
00:27:07.500 justification. The Supreme court just said, you can't do this. Even if this was targeted and focused,
00:27:16.580 that it only affected, you know, 15% of, um, of renters or something like that. I don't care
00:27:23.680 if it only affects 1%. The CDC doesn't have this authority. I don't care if it only applies to one
00:27:28.400 renter in the entire country. It's simply authority. The CDC does not have, but as it happens, this
00:27:37.000 targeted and focused policy applies to, as I said yesterday, 90% of the population.
00:27:44.920 Um, I think it's something like 80, 80% of us counties equaling 90% of the population targeted
00:27:54.980 and focused, right? Okay. Two Republican governors in the news, one bad, one good. So some yin and
00:28:01.260 yang balance here, which is always nice. So we'll do bad first. We'll save the good for later. Um,
00:28:06.400 this is Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, who somehow manages to be perhaps the limpest weakling in the
00:28:12.300 whole party, which of course is really saying something. And, um, he, he hasn't done a lot
00:28:18.380 good. There's not much that he's done. That's been worthwhile. Um, but at least one worthwhile
00:28:23.840 thing he did was banning mask mandates in his state. It's like the one thing you can give this
00:28:31.200 guy credit for. And now he's saying he regrets that one good thing he did. He feels bad about having
00:28:37.980 done it. Uh, let's listen to that. I signed it for those reasons that our cases were at a low point.
00:28:43.420 Everything has changed now. And yes, in hindsight, I wish that had not become law. Uh, but it is the
00:28:50.180 law. And the only chance we have is either to amend it or, uh, for the courts to say that it has an
00:28:56.920 unconstitutional foundation. Oh, dear God. What, what? First of all, you will never hear
00:29:05.580 a Democrat ever say anything like that. Can you think of an example? Prove I'm wrong. Tell me I'm
00:29:13.860 wrong. Can you, can you think of any example of any Democrat at any position of power ever saying,
00:29:21.000 oh yeah, we, you know, I, I did this thing and I regret it. Never happens. It doesn't matter what it
00:29:27.960 is. Even if it's a, even if it's a, a democratic governor who put a policy in place that directly led
00:29:34.820 to the deaths of thousands of elderly people, as is the case in New York, they will defend that to
00:29:41.520 their own death. They will defend that. They will go down swinging. They will never admit that it was
00:29:46.700 a mistake. And yet in this case, the one good thing, this useless sack of nothing has ever done,
00:29:55.480 he regrets. And his reason is, well, the case, the cases had gone, had gone down. Did you not
00:30:05.360 realize that the cases would go back up? You idiot. Is that real? So that's why you passed
00:30:12.200 the ban on mask mandates is because you thought the cases wouldn't go back up.
00:30:18.500 Okay. Well, I could have, I'm not an epidemiologist, which these days I think makes me a greater expert
00:30:26.240 on, uh, on disease because of how badly the epidemiologists have failed. But either way,
00:30:30.840 I'm not an epidemiologist. I could have told you that, um, with any virus, it's going to be,
00:30:37.480 it's going to be ebbs and flows, ebbs and flows. And that's how it's going to be from here on out.
00:30:43.660 This is a virus. It's always going to be with us. And the cases are going to go up and the cases are
00:30:46.880 going to go down. Fortunately, deaths are staying relatively steady because they're,
00:30:52.160 because so many people in this country are immune. Um, but yeah, that, that, that's not a surprise to
00:30:59.000 me. So what was the conversation? Who told this guy, Hey governor, we should pass this, uh, pass this,
00:31:06.640 this law because, uh, uh, the COVID cases are never going to go up again.
00:31:11.340 And if you didn't think that COVID cases would ever go up again, then why pass the bill banning mask
00:31:23.080 mandates in the first place? The pressure for the mask mandates was only going to come back
00:31:30.440 when the cases go back up. If you thought they would never go back up, then why did you need the
00:31:34.860 bill? So it doesn't make any sense. Uh, and, and he's just, he, he cannot withstand any public
00:31:44.300 pressure from the media, from the left at all. He will cave in an instant. And yet, uh, the fine
00:31:53.300 people of Arkansas somehow elected this guy. That's my question for you. And that's a sincere
00:31:58.740 question. I don't follow Arkansas politics that closely. I admit. So really I'm throwing this
00:32:05.500 out there for any Arkansas voter who voted for this guy. What did you see in him? What did you
00:32:10.100 like about him exactly? What am I missing? And if I, if it seems like I'm being a little harsh on
00:32:17.220 Hutchinson, keep in mind, this is the same guy who, um, wouldn't sign a bill banning the chemical
00:32:22.900 castration of children. So what did you see him seeing him? I'd like to know. Okay. Now let's go
00:32:31.120 to the good. Ron DeSantis. All right. A little bit of a palate cleanser here. Ron DeSantis gave a
00:32:35.900 press conference yesterday. What a contrast between what you just saw from Asa Hutchinson and this
00:32:41.180 year, uh, the press conference, the whole thing was great, but I loved, especially when we get
00:32:45.320 towards the end, speaking directly to Biden. Let's, uh, let's play this. Joe Biden is taken to himself
00:32:51.300 to try to single out Florida, um, over COVID. Uh, this is a guy who ran for president saying he was
00:32:57.740 going to quote, shut down the virus. And what has he done? He's imported more virus from around the
00:33:03.780 world by having a wide open Southern border. You have hundreds of thousands of people pouring
00:33:09.080 across every month. And it's not just from Mexico. In fact, it's rarely from Mexico. You have over a
00:33:14.980 hundred different countries where people are pouring through. Not only are they letting them through,
00:33:20.060 they're then farming them out all across our communities across this country, putting them
00:33:25.040 on planes, putting them on buses. Do you think they're being worried about COVID for that? Of
00:33:30.420 course not. So he's facilitating who knows what new variants are out there, but I can tell you
00:33:35.760 whatever variants are around the world, they're coming across that Southern border. And so he's not
00:33:40.380 shutting down the virus. He's helping to facilitate it in our country. Why don't you do your job?
00:33:45.860 Why don't you get this border secure? And until you do that, I don't want to hear a blip
00:33:52.440 about COVID from you. Thank you.
00:33:58.360 There it is. He's exactly right about the border. Of course,
00:34:01.720 that Joe Biden is inviting into the country, hordes of infected people and just letting them in,
00:34:10.120 letting them in to spread the virus. You can look at a map of where COVID is spreading the most right
00:34:20.560 now and where the biggest spikes in cases are. And wouldn't you know, I mean, what a coincidence
00:34:26.140 that so many of these big spikes are happening down South near the border. Crazy. So, you know,
00:34:33.780 I don't know. Again, again, not an epidemiologist, but it just seems like you're opening up the border.
00:34:39.240 You're inviting people in. We know that hundreds and thousands of these people are infected with
00:34:42.840 COVID. And then around the areas where they're coming in, we're seeing spikes in cases. It's
00:34:47.900 like you might actually draw some sort of connection. I don't know. So he's exactly right. Of course,
00:34:53.040 about everything that he said. Joe Biden is facilitating the spread of the virus.
00:34:58.720 And he knows that's what he's doing to the extent that he knows anything anymore, to the extent that
00:35:05.000 he knows what he's doing at all in general in life, to the extent that he, that he knows that
00:35:09.260 he's eating breakfast while he eats it. He knows what he's doing down on the border. He's doing it
00:35:13.000 intentionally. And Ron DeSantis is exactly right about that. And this is, this is what we need from
00:35:17.120 Republicans. Again, the contrast between Asa Hutchinson, utterly ineffectual, useless.
00:35:23.340 And then Ron DeSantis, who is really getting things done as a governor.
00:35:30.700 You don't play defense. The other contrast here is Asa Hutchinson playing defense.
00:35:35.780 Oh, no, no, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. You're putting the shield up, hiding behind the podium,
00:35:38.980 practically. He was all but ducking behind the podium. Don't yell at me. I'm sorry.
00:35:45.600 Hey, that's defense. Whereas Ron DeSantis has gone right after them and doing it in meaningful ways.
00:35:57.000 Which is why Ron DeSantis should be considered our front runner for 2024. I mean, yeah, it's still,
00:36:06.480 it's still far away. He hasn't officially announced that he's running for president yet. If he does run,
00:36:11.360 listen, every time I say this, I know it upsets a certain portion of the audience who don't want
00:36:16.860 to hear it. But at this point, looking forward to what is a likely scenario in the Republican
00:36:24.840 primaries for 2024, where you've got a whole field of people and behind that field is at front,
00:36:34.380 Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. There is no reason to support a 78-year-old Donald Trump
00:36:44.900 over Ron DeSantis in 2024, except just that you're invested in a personality cult.
00:36:52.900 Like at this point, assuming that both of those guys are in the running and are an option for voters,
00:36:58.820 if you're going with Trump, it's because you're in the personality cult. There cannot be any other
00:37:04.500 reason. There really can't. 78 years old, he's going to turn, he's as old as Biden. He will be
00:37:10.620 as old as Biden when he gets to 2024. So you're giving him a second shot in his 80s
00:37:16.660 to accomplish some things that frankly, look, to accomplish some things that Trump never even
00:37:22.520 came close to accomplishing the first time, didn't even try. Even simple things like drain the swamp,
00:37:28.320 can we be honest with each other? Trump did not drain the swamp, didn't try to,
00:37:35.840 made no attempt. In fact, he surrounded himself with the swamp and listened to them for four years,
00:37:46.180 did their bidding. That's the truth. Trump had very little interest in the act of actually governing.
00:37:58.320 And also, this is Trump's two biggest flaws, okay? Little interest in the actual act of
00:38:05.820 governing, the work of governing, especially the boring stuff, the stuff you're doing behind the
00:38:11.360 scenes where you're really governing. Little interest in doing that. And also, Trump always
00:38:18.280 cared deeply what people said about him and how they felt about him. And so he spent the entire four
00:38:25.460 years defending himself personally. He's also, on the other side of it, he's susceptible to flattery.
00:38:32.740 So if you flattered him, he would let you into the circle and listen to you.
00:38:39.260 Ron DeSantis doesn't have those flaws. Not saying he's flawless. He's a politician. I mean,
00:38:43.960 all people have flaws, politicians especially. But those are not flaws that he has. He is very
00:38:48.800 interested in the act of governing. He's very good at it. And he doesn't seem to really care what
00:38:55.200 anyone says. And there's no evidence that you can flatter your way into his heart and manipulate him
00:39:01.220 that way. So almost all of the good points of Trump are shared by DeSantis. And most of the bad
00:39:10.160 points are not shared. And he's a lot younger. And he's a rising star. So to me, it's an easy
00:39:20.420 decision. I would like for someone to make a case for me for Trump over DeSantis that goes beyond
00:39:29.100 personality cult stuff. If you could do it, I'd be interested to hear. All right. Let's play this
00:39:36.920 for you also. Here's some more good news. If you're a woman and you've been out of the workforce
00:39:42.920 and you're thinking about returning to the workforce, Meghan Markle is there to mentor you. So
00:39:48.000 let's listen to her make that pitch. Because I'm turning 40, I'm asking 40 friends to donate
00:39:54.880 40 minutes of their time to help mentor a woman who's mobilizing back into the workforce. Over 2
00:40:00.700 million women in the U.S. alone and tens of millions around the world have lost their jobs due to
00:40:05.360 COVID. And I think if we all do it and all commit 40 minutes to some sort of active service, we can
00:40:10.360 create a ripple effect. You in? Yes times 40. 40, 40, 40, and then 40 times I say yes. Is it okay if I
00:40:18.880 still do it in the hat? I wouldn't expect anything less. Thanks, friend. Bye, friend. Cheers. See you at 50.
00:40:28.800 Okay. So one really quick question here. I'm posing a lot of questions on the show today. Here's
00:40:39.260 another question. If you're looking for mentorship in returning to the workforce, why would you turn
00:40:47.700 to a woman who's never had a job in her life? She's never been in the workforce. She knows nothing
00:40:52.280 about it. Right now, is she a working professional? What is her profession? Meghan Markle's profession
00:41:00.660 right now is being Meghan Markle. That's her whole profession. But yeah, she'll offer you some helpful
00:41:09.840 advice, I'm sure. All right, finally, before we get to reading the comments, I've had this clip for a few
00:41:13.660 days that I've wanted to play. We'll play it now. The BBC interviewed a sports scientist about the issue
00:41:20.740 of men and women's sports that obviously has been a big issue, especially with the Olympics
00:41:24.780 and Laurel Hubbard showing up as a male. Although he's a male competing against the women in weightlifting,
00:41:33.080 he flunked out and embarrassed himself. But even so, that's why it's been in the news. So they brought
00:41:39.540 on Ross Tucker, who's a sports scientist. And he had an opinion about all of this that has proven to be
00:41:46.440 very offensive to lots of people, at least to the sorts of people who get offended by basic reality.
00:41:51.980 But here it is. The problem is that there's an asymmetry where once testosterone has done its job,
00:41:58.960 and viewers will know what that job is, it's basically the development of male characteristics,
00:42:03.540 which we see so prominently during puberty and adolescence. So we're talking muscle, bone,
00:42:08.900 decreased body fat, increased heart and lung size, all of which adds up to strength and performance
00:42:13.540 advantages. Once those are laid down by testosterone's effects, you can't undo them simply by
00:42:18.840 lowering the testosterone level. And there are now ample studies that have demonstrated this.
00:42:24.040 And so therefore, the conclusion is that even the suppression of testosterone, as is required,
00:42:30.180 leaves behind a considerable residual advantage that then means it's unfair to cross into the
00:42:36.040 women's sport category.
00:42:36.940 Needless to say, I don't have to tell you that he is being condemned as a bigot and a transphobe for
00:42:44.860 all of that. Meanwhile, it's 100% undeniably true. Those are simply scientific facts.
00:42:54.940 There's no debate. There's nothing to argue about. It's not an arguable proposition.
00:43:00.540 If you disagree with it, you're just wrong. And you don't understand basic human biology.
00:43:09.200 The only thing he's wrong about, in fact, he said one wrong thing in that whole clip that was,
00:43:13.580 that was, he said one thing in the whole clip that was incorrect. When he said, oh, well,
00:43:18.840 viewers will understand what testosterone does. No, the viewers won't understand that. A lot of
00:43:23.540 viewers don't. So you're wrong about that. You, you, you have assumed too much, I'm afraid.
00:43:30.140 Because lots of people, especially on the left, they seem to think that, um, well, they'll say
00:43:34.840 either that testosterone doesn't make a difference at all, or that if you're dealing with someone where
00:43:41.740 their testosterone levels have been suppressed, maybe through drugs or something, well, then you've
00:43:46.660 evened the score. Except that when we talk about the biological differences between men and women,
00:43:53.120 testosterone is just one small piece of the puzzle. There are hundreds, literally hundreds of other
00:43:59.660 differences biologically. And as he points out, by the time you start suppressing the testosterone,
00:44:07.340 especially for grown men who in like their thirties decide that they want to identify as women,
00:44:13.000 the testosterone has already done it. As he said, it's already done its job. It's already,
00:44:16.020 it has already created these differences. There's no way to undo that. You could take a drug,
00:44:23.480 you could get fake implants, you can mutilate your genitals, but the biological advantages are there
00:44:30.420 and they're not going anywhere. Simple scientific facts, that's it. But you're also dealing with
00:44:38.080 people who, for them, scientific facts mean absolutely nothing because their feelings, of course,
00:44:44.780 override all of that. As we talked about yesterday in a blatant authoritarian move, Mayor Bill de Blasio
00:44:50.860 just mandated that businesses in New York require proof of vaccination from all prospective customers
00:44:56.440 and also employees. It's just kind of shocking how transparent the left is in this show of tyranny
00:45:02.300 and it's time Americans stood up and used one of the shortest words in the English language and
00:45:08.220 also one of the most important. No, because authoritarianism has now come to America's shores
00:45:12.920 and if we don't do something, we're going to pay the price and that's why there's no better time to
00:45:17.040 pick up Ben Shapiro's new book, The Authoritarian Moment, which talks all about this authoritarianism,
00:45:21.840 where we are now, where it came from, the history of it, and also what we can do about it,
00:45:26.000 which is the most important thing. So go pick up The Authoritarian Moment now,
00:45:29.640 available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or any other major bookseller.
00:45:33.260 All right, let's go now to reading the YouTube comments. I'll start with this. Someone deeply
00:45:38.800 hurt my feelings yesterday, if you listen to the comment section, by saying that I need to talk
00:45:44.060 about different topics. So the producer put up a question in the comments asking if I should
00:45:50.540 discuss different topics or if they like the show as it is, and here are some of the answers to that
00:45:55.700 question. Matt is on it. Don't change a thing. Matt is my favorite Daily Wire host by far. Keep
00:46:03.700 up the good work. Matt is excellent. I think what's covered in the show is great. I just want him to
00:46:09.440 cover what interests him. Well, there it is. This curated sample of people have spoken.
00:46:17.740 And by the way, though, it is true that I cover what interests me. And even if it doesn't always
00:46:23.940 interest you, you maybe could take some solace in knowing that I actually do care about the issues
00:46:28.680 I discuss and I believe what I'm saying. And I'm not going to talk about anything that I don't care
00:46:36.300 about or don't believe in. You'll notice that there can often be huge stories that everyone else is
00:46:43.140 talking about, big headline news that I won't talk about at all. And the answer is I just don't care
00:46:50.800 about them. And I won't even pretend to care. So, you know, that at least if you hear it on this show.
00:47:00.680 What you're hearing me talk about, I actually care about these things and I believe what I'm saying.
00:47:04.800 And that might be a low bar, but I can tell you that in the media, not a lot of people meet that bar.
00:47:11.260 Whatever show you're listening to for many, for many shows.
00:47:18.420 You're hearing people say a lot of things they don't necessarily believe and talk about topics
00:47:22.280 they don't really care about. All right. Moose Chuckle says, Matt, am I allowed to watch this
00:47:28.860 show without being vaccinated? Damn you, Moose Chuckle. You're endangering all of our lives.
00:47:34.240 Ban from the show. Obviously. Ron says, come on, Matt. Dogs are great. Our dog is a pet. And I tell
00:47:41.020 him that his only job in the house is to let people pet him. Cats won't even let you pet them.
00:47:46.080 I get that. I just, he's going to need to carry more weight. Okay. Than that. I have a, it's not
00:47:54.460 that I'm anti-animal or anything. I just, I have, I guess I have a more old fashioned view
00:47:58.320 of everything in life, but also animals where it's, it's fine to have an animal in the home or as,
00:48:06.600 but they got to do something. They got to contribute in some way, in some tangible way.
00:48:12.020 I don't think that's much, that's too much to ask. Um, cool. Papa J magic says, I know I'm not
00:48:19.180 supposed to cry as a man, but I teared up just a little bit to see that woman so happy to represent
00:48:23.780 our beautiful country. And I will allow that, that I will allow. We'll previously I'd said,
00:48:30.880 I think there are six reasons, acceptable reasons for a man to cry. I'll add number seven. I'll give
00:48:36.500 you that. You're welcome. Um, coming for you says Matt Walsh, slowly becoming my favorite. He's
00:48:44.660 really easy to relate to slowly. You say why only slowly? You're banned from the show. Uh,
00:48:53.560 John says, I'm a landlord. I own five properties, have mortgages on all of them. The only thing
00:48:57.540 that's keeping me afloat is the four tenants that pay on time. The only one that doesn't pay
00:49:02.560 is taking away all of my profits. Some more, some more stories like that from landlords.
00:49:08.100 See, the thing is, this is one of the good stories in comparison to the others, because this is someone,
00:49:13.620 at least John, like you're staying afloat and that's, it isn't good, but compared to many other
00:49:20.220 landlords, I've, this is how bad it's gotten that that qualifies as a good story, a success story
00:49:25.860 right now. And maybe John, you could confirm this. I'm assuming is that you own five properties.
00:49:32.980 You're a landlord. I think there are many people who maybe, especially those who don't own any
00:49:38.300 property at all. And they hear that and they think, Oh, you own five properties. You must be a
00:49:42.220 multimillionaire. You're basically Bill Gates. But in fact, you don't have to be a multimillionaire to own
00:49:49.980 five properties because the whole point, this is an investment. And, uh, the part of the strategy
00:49:57.760 here is that you're renting them out and so that you don't have to pay five mortgages.
00:50:04.680 So maybe John, maybe you can, I'm assuming, I'm guessing that even though you own five properties,
00:50:08.980 you're not a multimillionaire. Um, Josiah says, if I win the backstage pass, do I get to sit on sweet
00:50:17.020 daddy Walsh's knee and get a picture? Hopefully this comment creeps, creeps you out enough to
00:50:22.680 abandon the whole daddy Walsh thing. It does creep me out, but I am stubborn. So that, that all you've
00:50:31.660 done here is just ensure that I will refer to myself that way even more. So this, you had this coming
00:50:37.300 from your sweet daddy. It is pretty bad. I don't know how long, much longer I can sustain this.
00:50:43.660 Well, the world has gone completely crazy. I think we all know that, but the good news is that
00:50:49.840 you could get a respite from that kind of an oasis in the storm by coming here to Daily Wire Studios
00:50:55.940 and, uh, hanging out with us with cigars and whiskey backstage, watching an episode of, uh,
00:51:02.020 of, of backstage with all of us. Uh, you can tour the studios. You can tour the offices. You get a,
00:51:06.600 you get a great swag bag of merch. Really wish that that wasn't swag bag of merch. You can,
00:51:12.280 you can get some merchandise, some items. Um, and you can watch us debate on the show live,
00:51:17.540 but you're, you're going to want to hurry because there's not a lot of time to, uh,
00:51:21.080 get, uh, an opportunity to do this. This is your last chance. So if you're not a member yet,
00:51:24.580 head to dailywire.com slash backstage and enter code backstage at checkout for 25% off your
00:51:30.340 membership. And you also get automatically entered to win one of the coolest trips you'll
00:51:34.020 ever take. Again, uh, this is your last chance to do it. So make sure you do it now. Also,
00:51:37.880 there's no question in my mind that every American deserves to wake up to the facts and we're here to
00:51:42.880 make sure that happens at the daily wire. That's why our newest podcast, the morning wire has been
00:51:46.500 topping the Apple and Spotify charts since its recent release, because it's the only daily news
00:51:51.040 podcast that values your time and the truth. And while we're working overtime to bring you the news
00:51:55.540 that you need to know, we need your help to make sure that the facts get out to more and more
00:51:58.720 people. So subscribe now to morning wire on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts and
00:52:02.600 make sure to leave a five-star review. If you like what you hear now, let's get to our daily
00:52:06.980 cancellation. Now, fair warning to those who complain that the subjects I cover on this show
00:52:15.520 are often too dark and disturbing. If you feel that way, you're not going to like this segment.
00:52:20.600 And I say that in order to give you time to bail out now, if you want, for those who remain,
00:52:26.300 here's a headline that sounds like something that a mentally ill Babylon B writer might come up with
00:52:30.920 in the middle of a LSD-induced psychotic break. Here's the headline. Trans YouTuber Chris Chan,
00:52:37.820 39, is listed as female in police report and will be jailed with women despite arrest for raping her
00:52:45.140 dementia sufferer mother, 79. Now, unfortunately, although there is indeed plenty of mental illness
00:52:51.720 involved in this story, it is not satire. An apparently well-known YouTube personality and
00:52:56.460 webcomic creator was allegedly caught on tape admitting to raping his own elderly mother.
00:53:02.760 And because this monster now claims to be a woman, he is being housed with actual women in a women's
00:53:07.740 prison. The Daily Mail has more, though I warn you that the details are extremely difficult to stomach.
00:53:14.860 Here's what it says. Transgender YouTuber Chris Chan, 39, was identified as female by police and will be
00:53:20.420 housed with women despite being biologically male after she was arrested for raping her mother.
00:53:24.660 The vlogger and artist, who goes by Christine Weston Chandler, was arrested after leaked phone
00:53:30.920 calls allegedly revealed her admitting to raping her mother, 79, who suffers from dementia.
00:53:35.960 Chandler is biologically male but came out as transgender at the end of 2014.
00:53:40.920 Chandler's arrest came just days after a phone call was leaked on an instant messaging platform
00:53:45.000 on which a person believed to be Chandler seemingly admitted to having sex with her elderly mother who
00:53:49.700 is believed to have dementia. During the eight-minute conversation, Chandler apparently tells a friend
00:53:53.700 that it was her mother, Barbara, who made the first move, leading the two to kiss, according
00:53:57.860 to the audio file which Newsweek reported. Chandler allegedly claimed she approached the situation
00:54:03.520 with care and caution after years of harboring sexual feelings towards her mother and even
00:54:08.960 having dreams of having sex with her. Quote, she was partially confused at one point, but then
00:54:13.680 she came around, obviously. Chandler's allegedly heard saying on the call.
00:54:16.780 As the call continues, the person said to be Chandler says that she and her mother now have
00:54:22.500 a routine where they have sex every third night and that her mother enjoys it.
00:54:29.440 That's as far as I could possibly go there. You'll notice how the Daily Mail has taken great care to
00:54:34.640 ensure that they respect the pronouns of this alleged rapist. Newsweek, Yahoo News, the New York Post,
00:54:40.280 every other media outlet that's reported on the story, they've all done the same. A man's feelings must
00:54:45.900 still be respected even after he sexually assaults his own mother, it would seem. Never mind the fact
00:54:50.940 that Chris Chan is not only a deviant rapist, allegedly, but also clearly insane. I pulled his
00:54:58.620 most recent YouTube video before his arrest to give you an idea. Not that you probably needed any
00:55:02.660 convincing about his dire mental state, but here it is anyway. Watch.
00:55:07.580 Listen here, and listen good. I have told y'all, I kept it going time and time again, but y'all keep
00:55:15.180 putting it on, putting it on, but my little point, generation five is canceled. G4, Friendship is Magic,
00:55:24.620 needs its five more seasons. It needs to go on to season 14. Now, this is the last straw, because for the good
00:55:36.040 and safety of this timeline, you need to get that s*** pulled off of shelves and Amazon stores
00:55:42.880 or wherever else, all... I can stop it there. So you get the idea. As best I can, well, you probably don't get
00:55:49.860 the idea at all. As best as I can tell, he's yelling at Hasbro about My Little Pony, which is yet more
00:55:56.120 confirmation for my position that adults who watch cartoons are weird, probably not this weird, but weird,
00:56:01.300 and yet somehow we're supposed to believe that the self-identification of this raving lunatic
00:56:06.580 rapist, allegedly, is a serious and meaningful insight and not just another of his deranged
00:56:13.100 hallucinations. Many people on the internet certainly believe that, which is why social media
00:56:18.340 in the aftermath of his arrest and the reporting on the story have largely been more upset at the
00:56:24.080 people who misgender Chris Chan than they are at Chris Chan for sexually violating his elderly mother.
00:56:29.380 More importantly, the court system takes this delusional predator seriously to the point of
00:56:35.360 housing him in a prison with actual women. And by the way, a large portion of the women in any
00:56:40.980 prison are going to be sexual abuse survivors. And now they're going to be locked in a cell with a
00:56:46.800 large, unstable, accused rapist. This is certainly a violation of the constitutional protections
00:56:52.640 against cruel and unusual punishment, and it's even more certainly a violation of basic
00:56:57.080 common sense and human decency. But here's what makes all this even more disturbing,
00:57:02.720 if it's possible for it to get more disturbing. Millions of Americans, those on the ideological left,
00:57:11.020 do not possess the moral or intellectual framework to object to most aspects of this story.
00:57:18.880 They cannot object and do not object to a male sex predator being housed with women. And he is not
00:57:26.880 the only male sex predator to be housed with women in women's prisons. This is happening across the
00:57:31.140 country. And that's bad enough on its own. But they also can't really object even to incest in and of
00:57:38.960 itself. Now, in this case, the victim has dementia, which means that she cannot consent, which means everyone
00:57:44.580 agrees that it's a horrific crime. And yet, if it weren't for the dementia, then the leftist worldview
00:57:50.540 would say that it is simply a choice that two people who love each other have made, and it isn't hurting
00:57:55.240 anyone, and we have no room to judge their lifestyle. It's true that most leftists are not at the point where
00:58:00.820 they're going to openly defend consensual incest, but their worldview leads to that conclusion inevitably
00:58:06.560 inescapably. Everything they say about sexuality lays the groundwork. They have no basis to object to incest,
00:58:13.600 if it's consensual, and they know it. They have no basis to object to any sexual activity or lifestyle
00:58:20.340 at all, as long as it passes the consent test. Now, this one doesn't, and so they're saved from
00:58:26.520 having to defend the most revolting aspect of this story, but they still have to and do defend the rest
00:58:32.420 of it. What do we make of that? How do we go forward as a country knowing that when half of us hear a story
00:58:42.460 about a man who rapes his elderly mother and is sent to a women's prison, we can only object to part of
00:58:48.100 it, and even then, the objection is qualified and conditional? Well, I'm not sure that we do go
00:58:56.600 forward as a country, ultimately. The chasm between us is vast and deep and cannot be traversed.
00:59:04.720 There is no middle ground or compromise between the two sides. We can barely see each other across
00:59:12.420 the divide, and all we can hear is unintelligible shouting, which is why all anyone does anymore is
00:59:19.660 shout, because we are so far apart. And that's why literally everyone involved in the story
00:59:30.560 is, of course, I don't think I even need to say it, canceled.
00:59:37.640 But the good news, well, I wish I could end on good news, but I'm not sure there is any good news
00:59:41.720 we could pull from all of that. You can go somewhere else for your portion of good news for the day.
00:59:48.620 What I can give out with this story are cancellations, and I certainly hand them out
00:59:52.940 with a vengeance. And we'll leave it there for today. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening.
00:59:59.520 Have a great day. Godspeed.
