The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 772 - Famous Olympic Quitter Comes Out In Favor Of Baby Murder

00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Wall Show, for her next act, Simone Biles has come out as stridently pro-abortion. 0.94

00:00:05.620 The left is celebrating the news, of course, but the argument she makes in favor of baby murder is quite demented,

00:00:10.920 especially considering her own background. We'll talk about that also.

00:00:13.440 CNN helps to raise $200,000 for a single mother who was facing eviction, but it turns out the story was a bit of a scam.

00:00:21.160 We'll discuss that. Plus, President Biden is now inviting TikTok influencers to the White House to perform weird pro-vaccine skits.

00:00:28.640 And we have an unfortunate but important update on the James Younger story.

00:00:32.420 Finally, in our daily cancellation, we'll deal with an NPR story about an alleged 1,000-year-old non-binary medieval warrior

00:00:40.080 who was recently unearthed by archaeologists. The story only gets weirder and dumber from there.

00:00:44.900 All of that and more today on The Matt Wall Show.

00:00:46.800 You know, it really adds insult to injury when you've got to pay a bill or you've got to pay for anything, buy anything.

00:01:02.740 And that's no fun because you're spending money. No one likes to do that.

00:01:05.340 But then when you're giving that money to someone or to a company that hates your guts, it just makes it that much worse.

00:01:11.800 And that's why it's so important to find companies that also support your values and support you.

00:01:17.880 And that's what Charity Mobile is all about. Charity Mobile is the pro-life phone company. 0.67

00:01:20.920 Other mobile services, service providers support questionable causes and agendas.

00:01:25.780 But that's not the case for Charity Mobile because 5% of your monthly plan price goes to the pro-life, pro-family charity of your choice.

00:01:32.780 So you can switch to a company that shares your beliefs and won't cancel or censor you for them.

00:01:36.520 And at the same time, you're getting a great service. And part of that service means new activations and eligible accounts get a free cell phone with free activation and free shipping.

00:01:44.600 You get free usage alerts. You get a free app to monitor your usage and pay your bills and much more.

00:01:49.160 There's also no contract. There's no termination, no risk with a 30-day guarantee.

00:01:53.460 And you get nationwide service on America's most reliable network.

00:01:57.440 So it's a win-win-win cause all the way around.

00:01:59.420 So turn everyday living into effortless giving for the charity of your choice.

00:02:03.580 Call Charity Mobile at 1-877-474-3662 or chat with them online at charitymobile.com.

00:02:09.540 I am going to start with this today because there's perhaps nothing that annoys me more than bad arguments.

00:02:15.120 And of all the different types of bad arguments, the worst without question are those offered in support of hideous evils,

00:02:21.140 especially when those arguments are made by extremely famous and influential people.

00:02:24.440 And of all the famous and influential people out there, very often those with the most influence and whose bad arguments can therefore do the most damage

00:02:31.640 are precisely those who are not famous for making arguments in the first place.

00:02:35.960 You know, it's one thing for a cable news host or pundit or podcaster to come out and offer his opinion.

00:02:41.640 But our scope of influence is limited, unfortunately, because we only reach a certain type of audience,

00:02:46.640 namely those who enjoy our perspective and want to hear our opinions, whether they agree or not.

00:02:51.780 But those who garner audiences out in the wider culture, away from these debates, allegedly away from them,

00:02:58.380 have an easier time moving and influencing people because they're speaking to a crowd

00:03:02.380 that isn't coming to them already prepared to encounter these kinds of ideas.

00:03:07.700 This is one of the reasons why I've always said that out of all the bias on all the channels on TV,

00:03:12.840 I am least concerned about the bias on channels like CNN and MSNBC.

00:03:18.260 Three, the indoctrination on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon is a far greater concern.

00:03:24.520 And she'll get a lot more of our attention as it wins far more converts.

00:03:28.420 That brings us to famous Olympian and infamous quitter Simone Biles. 0.98

00:03:32.720 Not satisfied with making a virtue out of cowardice while bailing on her team and her country

00:03:36.920 and congratulating herself for it while never offering an apology to all the people that she intentionally let down,

00:03:43.200 Biles has now moved on to disseminating far-left propaganda.

00:03:46.080 Now, this shift is certainly the least surprising development of the summer.

00:03:50.820 I mean, no one's surprised by this, but it is concerning nonetheless for all the reasons just described.

00:03:56.880 She has a legion of fans, many of them young women and girls, who look to her as a role model.

00:04:03.980 And her status as a role model should have taken quite a hit after her disgraceful and selfish performance at the Olympics. 1.00

00:04:10.140 But due to the cover provided for her by the media and others, she's now even more of a role model than she's ever been before.

00:04:17.680 And one of the first things she's decided to do with that now elevated platform is offer a striding defense of the murder of children.

00:04:25.640 So on Instagram yesterday, the supposedly Catholic Biles posted the following thoughts. 0.90

00:04:31.020 She said, quote, I already know this is going to start the biggest argument and may even lose followers, but I'm very much pro-choice.

00:04:39.140 Your body, your choice.

00:04:40.520 Also, for everyone who's going to say, just put it up for adoption, series of eye roll emojis, it's not that easy.

00:04:47.200 And coming from someone who was in a foster care system, trust me, foster care system is broke and it's tough, especially on the kids and young adults who age out.

00:04:55.360 And adoption is expensive, I'm just saying.

00:04:58.600 And don't even come at me if you couldn't keep a mask on or refuse to wear one.

00:05:03.520 Now, normally I would make fun of someone for including emojis while discussing such a serious issue as this.

00:05:10.140 But in this case, the emojis may have been the most coherent and intelligent part of her whole diatribe.

00:05:15.600 And needless to say, of course, the left has fallen even more madly in love with Biles because of this, as a feminist and other pro-abortion advocates were thrown into convulsions of glee and euphoria at the sight of such a prominent person defending the mass slaughter of infants. 0.79

00:05:30.860 It was just music to their ears.

00:05:33.240 But is she correct about anything she said?

00:05:37.380 No, not remotely.

00:05:38.480 Because we don't have time to pick the whole thing apart line by line, we're going to sort of gloss over the fact that she said, your body, your choice, and then two sentences later, condemn people for not wearing masks.

00:05:48.220 I mean, if there was ever a time when the my body, my choice slogan applied, it would be to masks.

00:05:55.000 There's one time when it actually is appropriate to say my body, my choice.

00:05:59.580 The reason it does not apply to abortion, one of the reasons anyway, is that abortion is the direct and violent assault of another person's body.

00:06:07.380 It's not about your body, it's about the other person's.

00:06:10.540 The entire point of the pro-life movement is that the child's body exists, number one, and is alive, and is human, and is innocent and defenseless.

00:06:21.120 And all of those things are inarguable.

00:06:25.860 And thus should have the right to be free from unprovoked violence, just as any born person is.

00:06:32.600 Abortion is a thing you do to someone else's body. 1.00

00:06:36.220 It is an act.

00:06:37.100 You are acting upon another person's body.

00:06:40.580 But if it's justified to directly destroy another person's body, let alone your child's body, in the name of exercising your autonomy,

00:06:48.760 then it would certainly be justified to walk through Walmart unmasked in the name of autonomy as well.

00:06:55.520 Indeed, even if it's not justified to directly destroy another innocent person's body, let alone your child,

00:07:00.820 it still would be justified to walk through Walmart unmasked.

00:07:03.680 Because when you do so, walking around unmasked, there's a small chance that you indirectly and unintentionally get someone else sick.

00:07:14.740 And that's the case without COVID also.

00:07:17.180 With or without COVID, that's true.

00:07:19.400 Anytime you go anywhere unmasked, this is the case before COVID, there's a small chance that maybe you get someone else sick.

00:07:27.840 There's an even smaller chance that they die.

00:07:30.160 Whereas with abortion, there is a 100% chance that the other person dies because that's the whole point of the procedure.

00:07:40.440 So abortion is not analogous to walking through Walmart unmasked.

00:07:45.660 It is analogous to walking into Walmart and shooting somebody in the face.

00:07:51.360 Two different things.

00:07:52.800 In any case, I said I was glossing over that.

00:07:54.320 That's my version of glossing over.

00:07:55.540 I spent five minutes on it.

00:07:57.120 Let's get back to the main point.

00:07:58.400 Simone Biles says that abortion is okay because the foster care system is tough and adoption is expensive.

00:08:07.440 The very clear implication here, not even an implication, but an explicit claim, is that children in the foster care system would be better off dead.

00:08:18.260 And she says this while acknowledging that she herself went through that system.

00:08:22.820 She went through it and managed to thrive in life.

00:08:27.000 She is very happy to be alive and succeeding.

00:08:30.420 And she should be.

00:08:32.760 But she believes that such an opportunity should be foreclosed for other children.

00:08:38.200 Now, this already makes no sense because infants put up for adoption will not be in the system for that long.

00:08:44.300 There's currently a waiting list of some two million couples hoping to adopt.

00:08:48.100 Most of them want to adopt an infant.

00:08:50.440 It's not hard to place infants into loving homes.

00:08:53.940 One of the most harmful myths perpetrated and perpetuated by the pro-abortion lobby is that most unwanted babies, quote unquote,

00:09:02.560 who end up in the adoption system will simply stay there indefinitely, never to find a good home.

00:09:08.420 And that is not the case.

00:09:10.960 Now, it is the case that older children who end up in the system, tragically, oftentimes end up there, end up staying in the system for a long time because it's harder to place older kids.

00:09:22.700 Why is it harder to place older kids?

00:09:24.120 Well, because a lot of couples who are looking to adopt, maybe because they're not able to conceive children themselves or whatever the reason is,

00:09:31.820 they want a baby and they want to form that bond from a young age.

00:09:35.660 And also, if you already have kids and then you bring an older child into the equation, then you're also worried about how that's going to work.

00:09:45.140 I mean, there are a lot of things that play into it and that lead most couples looking to adopt to want to adopt babies.

00:09:52.420 And that's just the reality.

00:09:53.580 So we're talking about babies.

00:09:56.680 If a mother has an unwanted pregnancy and for her, the two options are put it up for adoption right away or abort the child and she goes with adoption, that child will find a loving home.

00:10:15.680 Will.

00:10:16.200 But even aside from that, and aside from the particular and quite breathtaking selfishness of a woman who went through the system and succeeded,

00:10:25.980 now saying that other kids in the system are better off dismembered and tossed into medical waste containers instead.

00:10:31.560 Aside from all that, think about the vision of life that we are confronted with.

00:10:35.960 We are told that a life of deprivation, of suffering, even if the suffering and deprivation are temporary, is not worth living.

00:10:48.240 It is not worth enduring such trials because those trials are going to be there.

00:10:55.400 Many of these children, there's no doubt that many of these children who are aborted, if they had not been aborted,

00:11:01.100 would have experienced suffering in their childhood, whether in their home or in the foster care system, whatever it is.

00:11:11.160 No one is denying that.

00:11:14.520 What we're saying is that even in suffering, even in deprivation, life is meaningful, life is beautiful, life is good.

00:11:24.380 And there is something greater and better waiting on the other side of that suffering.

00:11:29.340 There's a reason to live through it.

00:11:31.860 What Simone Biles says, what the pro-abortion movement says, is that there is nothing greater.

00:11:36.660 There is nothing better waiting on the other side of it for you.

00:11:41.500 Kids conceived by parents who don't want them are doomed to unending misery.

00:11:46.780 Misery so severe and relentless that there is simply no point to existing in the first place.

00:11:52.120 That's not my view at all.

00:11:53.840 That's the view espoused by the pro-abortion side and by Simone Biles.

00:11:56.780 What makes it all the more galling is that she says it so casually with emojis and sarcastic asides. 0.99

00:12:03.920 Oh, yeah, all those millions of kids should just be dead. 0.99

00:12:06.000 Whatever. 0.98

00:12:06.240 Of course, Biles now claims that she wasn't really saying that at all.

00:12:10.800 Someone on Twitter was disappointed that Biles had told, quote, all kids in the foster care system today that their lives are worth nothing and are bender off dead.

00:12:17.780 So someone on Twitter, you know, that's how they summarize what Biles has said.

00:12:20.600 That is a perfectly accurate and fair summary.

00:12:23.000 That is what she said.

00:12:24.300 But Biles responded to that person saying, quote, do not misconstrue my words.

00:12:28.280 That is not at all what I implied.

00:12:30.220 I did not say I support to abort rather than to put them through the foster care system.

00:12:34.600 What I did imply is that you should not control someone else's body slash decision.

00:12:38.040 Let's be real.

00:12:38.820 What you care about is control.

00:12:40.380 I have forever and will continue to support foster kids as I was one.

00:12:44.240 I've been an advocate for foster kids and the system.

00:12:46.860 But you wouldn't know that because you don't follow me.

00:12:48.820 You just like to open your mouth.

00:12:51.500 Yes.

00:12:52.000 How dare you question Miss Biles? 1.00

00:12:54.160 How dare you, sir?

00:12:56.860 Well, it seems that Miss Biles quits on her own arguments like she quits on her team. 1.00

00:13:02.240 That's the thing about pro-abortion people.

00:13:05.240 That is what she was saying.

00:13:06.660 Now she's, I would never say such a thing.

00:13:08.380 No, that is what you said.

00:13:10.560 But their arguments are so hideous and so evil and so morally vacuous and deranged

00:13:17.940 that they don't like to hear their own arguments repeated back to them.

00:13:24.100 That's sometimes, sometimes the best rebuttal to a pro-abortion person is just to repeat what they said to them.

00:13:29.920 Because when they say something and you repeat it, then they say, oh, how dare you?

00:13:35.580 I would never say that.

00:13:37.240 But you did say that.

00:13:39.580 That's exactly what you said.

00:13:42.200 And here's a good hint.

00:13:43.220 If you can't stand to hear the echo of your own words, maybe that should tell you something about the argument you're making

00:13:54.040 and the position that you're defending.

00:13:56.200 Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:14:05.420 This episode is brought to you by The Jordan Harbinger Show.

00:15:03.720 There is never a dull show.

00:15:05.000 So search for the Jordan Harbinger Show.

00:15:07.120 That's H-A-R-B as in boy, I-N as in Nancy.

00:15:11.440 J, or rather G-E-R on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

00:15:16.380 So here is a story for you.

00:15:20.400 CNN has been following the sad tale of Daisha Kelly, a woman whose trials and tribulations were used as a final push to get the unconstitutional eviction moratorium extended.

00:15:32.460 She said that she was a mother of three girls and facing eviction because she didn't have a job and she couldn't pay her rent.

00:15:44.120 Now, of course, there are millions of open jobs available right now.

00:15:48.260 But then again, when you're a single mom of three, it's not so simple to take any job that comes along.

00:15:58.620 You should still be able to find a job, but you may not be able to hop at the first one because you've got to worry about child care.

00:16:04.640 And you've got all these other considerations, of course, you have to take into account.

00:16:07.700 So you can kind of understand what a difficult spot this would be in, this would be for a single mother with three young girls to be in this position.

00:16:19.360 So CNN, they pushed this story, they followed it until finally, Kelly, Daisha Kelly, who put her own GoFundMe up to raise money for herself. 0.97

00:16:28.540 She raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars, which will all go to her personally and to her three, quote unquote, daughters.

00:16:36.200 So first, before we get to the update to this story, the shocking update.

00:16:41.920 Here's a couple of clips compiled by the site NowThis, and they're the ones, I think, who added the inspirational music in the background.

00:16:47.900 But here is a couple of clips. This is CNN profiling Kelly and then also later on getting her reaction after the GoFundMe raised all the money.

00:16:55.700 Let's watch this.

00:16:57.000 I had to donate a few days ago.

00:16:59.080 Kelly is now donating blood plasma, 100 bucks a time, to buy groceries.

00:17:04.120 So you are managing to eat okay?

00:17:07.580 Exactly. Oh, yeah. Well, they're eating okay. Let's put it that way.

00:17:12.000 I'm like, there's days I don't even want to roll out the bed. Roll out the floor. You get what I mean.

00:17:19.140 Kelly's pawned or sold nearly everything she had.

00:17:22.720 I had a bed right here. There was a TV right here on top of this stand, so I had to pawn that.

00:17:28.120 She thought about working online, but...

00:17:30.300 You lost your laptop as well?

00:17:31.860 Oh, I had to pawn that, trying to keep up with the bills.

00:17:34.520 I just want to tell everybody, thank you so much. I'm still in denial, if you can't really tell.

00:17:39.840 So, um, it's a lot to take in. It's very, um, sorry. It's, um, it's really overwhelming.

00:17:48.100 These are tears of joy, trust me. I'm, uh, I don't, I...

00:17:54.400 I'm just so thankful. I appreciate each and every one of you.

00:17:57.980 And I would especially like to thank, I don't know if I can, but Kim, the one who reached out to my family, I'm so thankful.

00:18:06.420 I, we're so thankful for you guys, because I had no idea what we were going to do.

00:18:11.120 And just overnight, just overnight, all you guys just reached out and helped us and all the support, your encouraging words.

00:18:19.040 Like, it's, it's, it's just gave me a lot of hope, and I just want to make sure I do the best that I can to help the next person that is in my same situation.

00:18:30.160 And I just felt really blessed, and just thank you guys so much.

00:18:34.140 Thank you so much.

00:19:04.140 Well, as it turns out, um, those girls are not her daughters.

00:19:11.360 She doesn't have any daughters. She's a single woman.

00:19:14.760 Uh, and that was revealed by CNN after they had already raised over $200,000 for this woman. 0.86

00:19:21.000 Now we get the update from that same reporter who was, uh, who was doing this story and been following Daisha Kelly.

00:19:26.560 Now he comes back on CNN days later and says, oh, uh, by the way, everything we told you about that was a lie.

00:19:33.180 Still a lot of questions. Um, but what do we know right now about Daisha Kelly's story?

00:19:39.320 Well, Erica, CNN found Daisha Kelly through her post on GoFundMe seeking $2,000 to pay back rent to avoid eviction for her and, quote, her three daughters.

00:19:50.420 She did not reach out to us. Now we interviewed Kelly at her home.

00:19:55.760 The girls all called her mom, appeared to be very much at home, and there was nothing we could see to raise any suspicion.

00:20:03.040 But later last week, a woman named Shadia Hilo came forward and said she was the mother of those three girls, and they live with her.

00:20:11.900 Obviously, we investigated immediately, and yes, Shadia Hilo is their mother.

00:20:17.500 We have seen the birth certificates, and now we know that Daisha Kelly is dating the girl's father.

00:20:24.180 She spends significant periods of time caring for the girls at her apartment. 0.76

00:20:28.980 Now, at the time we visited, Hilo says she had dropped the girls off with Kelly for a week.

00:20:36.120 Now, when we followed up with Kelly over the weekend, she clarified that she is not the mother of the three girls.

00:20:42.380 She said she originally described herself to CNN as a mother because she considers herself to be like a mother to those girls.

00:20:51.520 Shadia Hilo is understandably upset that someone else claimed to be the mother of three of her children, children she also cares for.

00:21:01.520 Well, I said that I was a mother, but, you know, I hang out with these girls sometimes, and I'm sort of like a mother.

00:21:11.260 I consider myself, though, I just didn't think to tell all you guys that when I was raising $200,000.

00:21:17.700 You know, this, and she at no point volunteered this information.

00:21:22.100 She was going to take that $200,000 and run. 0.88

00:21:25.120 And also, by the way, at least the most recent thing I saw last night, anyway, GoFundMe, they're not shutting the fundraiser down exactly.

00:21:33.540 What they did is they're requiring Desha Kelly to put an update on the GoFundMe and say, oh, hey, this was all on false pretenses.

00:21:40.580 I'm not actually a mother.

00:21:41.460 These aren't my girls. 1.00

00:21:42.360 I lied to you.

00:21:44.400 So she's putting, and she did, she put that update.

00:21:46.940 And now people who donated to the GoFundMe, those poor saps who actually fell for this,

00:21:51.940 they're going to get a few days or a few weeks to claim a refund, and then the rest of the money is still going to go to Desha Kelly.

00:21:58.900 So they didn't shut it down.

00:22:01.280 Now, I don't have to remind you, okay, so Desha Kelly is allowed to lie and raise $200,000, and they don't shut down.

00:22:10.440 They still give her a chance to keep at least some of that money, because not everyone's going to ask for the refund. 0.65

00:22:16.260 Not everyone's even going to know that this update was posted.

00:22:23.780 They're going to let her do that. 0.99

00:22:25.700 Meanwhile, they wouldn't let me raise money for Abuela.

00:22:28.560 I was raising money for someone else.

00:22:31.880 I wasn't going to get a dime of it.

00:22:34.600 And that's an illegitimate fundraiser.

00:22:36.640 And I don't even say this as a joke.

00:22:42.420 Okay, yeah, the Abuela fundraiser was hilarious, but at the same time, it was a real fundraiser.

00:22:46.480 We were really going to give the money to an Abuela in need.

00:22:54.020 Here you have someone raising the money for themselves and lying in the process,

00:22:57.440 and they're going to be allowed to keep at least some of it.

00:22:59.320 I'm guessing a good chunk of it is going to remain, and they're going to get to keep it.

00:23:02.600 So, obviously, this is a scam.

00:23:07.860 This is not, oh, I misworded it.

00:23:11.460 I didn't mean, no, you lied.

00:23:14.780 And the actual mother of these girls didn't know this was happening. 1.00

00:23:17.520 Imagine you drop your kids off with someone,

00:23:21.940 and then later you see your kids on CNN.

00:23:27.700 You see them on CNN starring alongside the person who's babysitting your kids

00:23:34.020 in this pageant so they can raise money.

00:23:39.280 Can you imagine that?

00:23:40.240 How outrageous and angry,

00:23:43.360 outrage and angry that would make you?

00:23:44.680 So, we know, actually, that Daisha Kelly is, 0.80

00:23:50.220 so she's not a mom. 0.76

00:23:52.080 She's not a single mom.

00:23:54.660 She is, in fact, unemployed, so that much is true.

00:23:59.400 But that really brings us to,

00:24:00.820 and this is another story I wanted to hit in the five headlines.

00:24:02.720 This is from the Daily Wire.

00:24:04.140 It says,

00:24:04.460 the United States economy has over 10 million job openings.

00:24:08.380 According to the data from the Department of Labor,

00:24:10.860 the number of positions available in the United States

00:24:13.380 increased to 10.1 million as of the last business day in June,

00:24:17.100 the highest number ever observed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

00:24:20.480 In May, there were 9.2 million openings.

00:24:23.220 There have never been this many jobs available.

00:24:26.340 And, now, as I said,

00:24:33.460 not everyone,

00:24:35.360 when you have dependents,

00:24:36.800 when you have kids,

00:24:38.100 that complicates matters.

00:24:40.880 Clearly, if you don't have a job,

00:24:42.260 you need to go find one,

00:24:43.460 and you need to keep hitting the pavement until you do.

00:24:47.160 But you're not going to be in a spot

00:24:49.020 where you can necessarily just take any job.

00:24:52.360 Because you've got to figure out your child care first.

00:24:56.540 If you're paying for child care,

00:24:58.540 then you've got to make enough from the job

00:25:00.400 to pay for the child care,

00:25:02.300 and also to have some left over

00:25:03.340 to pay everything else that you've got to pay.

00:25:04.840 So, these are a lot of things you have to take into account.

00:25:09.460 And,

00:25:10.100 obviously, we're all very sympathetic to people

00:25:13.640 that are in that spot.

00:25:14.340 But if you don't have any kids,

00:25:15.980 if you don't have any dependents,

00:25:17.480 and you're a single person,

00:25:19.160 and you're living in an apartment

00:25:21.460 that isn't, you know,

00:25:22.560 that isn't terribly,

00:25:23.600 it's not some luxury apartment in the sky

00:25:25.660 that costs you thousands and thousands of dollars a month,

00:25:28.240 you should just basically take any job that you can find.

00:25:33.080 You take a job,

00:25:34.260 and you can keep looking for a better one

00:25:35.960 while you have that job.

00:25:38.060 Bird in hand, you know,

00:25:39.780 it's easier to find a job when you have one.

00:25:43.320 So, you can still do that,

00:25:44.440 but there's no reason to be passing up jobs

00:25:46.580 when you're a single person.

00:25:51.460 That's what I said from the beginning

00:25:55.960 about a lot of this stuff

00:25:56.840 when we started handing out,

00:25:58.520 you know,

00:25:58.740 we just started handing out stimulus payments to everyone.

00:26:01.840 Now, we got the eviction moratorium.

00:26:03.560 Now, the eviction moratorium

00:26:04.540 shouldn't be in place for anyone

00:26:05.840 because it's unconstitutional.

00:26:10.220 But if it was,

00:26:11.280 if I was going to agree with it being in place

00:26:13.640 for anyone,

00:26:14.280 which I don't,

00:26:14.960 but if I did,

00:26:15.660 I would say at a minimum,

00:26:17.460 this should be targeted for,

00:26:18.920 I don't know, families?

00:26:22.060 A single person

00:26:23.180 who's choosing not to work

00:26:24.640 even though there are

00:26:25.300 10 million jobs out there

00:26:27.400 and you have no one to pay for

00:26:30.300 but yourself?

00:26:35.080 There's no excuse.

00:26:37.180 It's not,

00:26:38.220 it can be very difficult

00:26:39.420 to support and pay for a family.

00:26:42.180 I know I do that.

00:26:43.320 I support a family of six.

00:26:44.940 I've also supported just myself.

00:26:46.980 I did that for years.

00:26:49.400 And I was able to do that

00:26:50.600 with not a lot of money.

00:26:51.740 I wasn't getting paid a whole lot.

00:26:54.680 But as a single person,

00:26:56.120 you're an adult,

00:26:56.740 you can make sacrifices,

00:26:58.020 you know,

00:26:58.180 you can make it work.

00:26:59.280 I did.

00:27:03.960 All right.

00:27:04.560 Next here,

00:27:05.260 we've got a story from National Review.

00:27:07.060 This is kind of an update

00:27:07.820 to a story we've talked about

00:27:09.060 over the years.

00:27:10.980 It says,

00:27:11.640 a Texas jug,

00:27:12.500 judge,

00:27:13.560 Texas jug,

00:27:14.500 has granted full custody

00:27:15.800 of eight-year-old James Younger

00:27:17.500 to his mother,

00:27:18.120 who has fought publicly

00:27:19.500 to transition her son

00:27:20.640 into a girl

00:27:21.360 against the father's wishes.

00:27:24.220 Judge Mary Brown

00:27:25.260 granted full custody

00:27:26.380 to Ann Georgilis

00:27:27.520 in an order on Tuesday

00:27:29.180 awarding the mother

00:27:29.880 exclusive control

00:27:30.920 over James' primary residence,

00:27:32.540 counseling,

00:27:33.040 medications,

00:27:33.720 education,

00:27:34.600 and extracurricular activities.

00:27:36.320 It allows Georgilis

00:27:37.060 to withhold information

00:27:38.100 from Jeff Younger,

00:27:38.920 James' father,

00:27:40.040 regarding the children's

00:27:40.920 extracurricular activities,

00:27:42.140 school functions,

00:27:42.920 school enrollment,

00:27:43.660 counseling,

00:27:43.940 and medical care.

00:27:45.620 However,

00:27:46.100 while Georgilis

00:27:46.720 has the exclusive right

00:27:47.740 to consent to James'

00:27:48.900 medical procedures,

00:27:50.300 the order notes

00:27:50.900 that the power

00:27:51.540 does not extend

00:27:52.200 to hormone suppression therapy,

00:27:53.660 puberty blockers,

00:27:54.920 or transgender reassignment surgery.

00:27:58.000 The high-profile custody case

00:27:59.300 has played out publicly

00:28:00.020 for years,

00:28:00.640 as Georgilis has insisted

00:28:01.760 that her son identifies

00:28:02.700 as a girl named Luna.

00:28:04.520 And as I said,

00:28:05.180 we've talked about this.

00:28:05.900 This goes back

00:28:06.620 to when James

00:28:10.720 was only three years old.

00:28:12.020 And that's when,

00:28:13.520 according to James Younger,

00:28:14.460 that's when his wife decided

00:28:15.920 that little James

00:28:17.220 is actually a girl.

00:28:18.720 Eventually,

00:28:19.140 they get divorced,

00:28:20.020 and there's been

00:28:20.780 this custody battle

00:28:21.520 ever since then

00:28:22.360 with James Younger,

00:28:26.400 who,

00:28:27.240 what other details

00:28:28.200 about his life?

00:28:29.020 You know,

00:28:29.260 I don't know.

00:28:29.740 I don't know him personally.

00:28:31.260 I'm sure he's not

00:28:32.060 a perfect person.

00:28:32.820 Nobody is.

00:28:36.560 But one thing

00:28:37.820 is for certain,

00:28:39.360 he knows that his boy

00:28:40.860 is a boy.

00:28:42.020 And he believes

00:28:43.320 that his boy

00:28:43.800 has a right

00:28:44.280 to live as a boy

00:28:46.580 and to not have

00:28:48.580 this confusion

00:28:49.660 imposed on him,

00:28:52.600 which will do,

00:28:54.060 it already has done,

00:28:55.460 I hate to say it,

00:28:56.660 it has already done

00:28:57.700 untold,

00:28:59.380 potentially lifelong damage.

00:29:04.400 And only knowing that

00:29:05.940 about James,

00:29:07.240 rather,

00:29:08.300 James Younger

00:29:08.900 is the child,

00:29:09.300 only knowing that

00:29:11.220 about the father,

00:29:12.700 Jeff Younger,

00:29:14.080 you know,

00:29:14.380 Jeff Younger

00:29:15.120 versus Ann Georgilis.

00:29:18.400 If the only thing

00:29:19.380 we know

00:29:19.840 is that Ann Georgilis

00:29:20.900 wants to convert

00:29:21.640 the boy into a girl,

00:29:23.140 and Jeff Younger

00:29:24.180 is saying,

00:29:24.540 absolutely not,

00:29:25.200 don't do that,

00:29:25.740 we already know

00:29:26.500 that Jeff Younger

00:29:27.140 is the more fit parent.

00:29:30.440 And it,

00:29:31.120 it wouldn't be hard

00:29:32.360 to claim that title

00:29:33.300 because if,

00:29:34.800 if you want to transition

00:29:35.920 your boy into a girl, 0.95

00:29:37.080 you are,

00:29:37.440 you are simply not fit.

00:29:39.800 You can't be.

00:29:41.160 You shouldn't be allowed

00:29:41.960 anywhere near that child.

00:29:44.960 In a just and sane society,

00:29:47.140 there would be

00:29:47.560 no controversy here at all.

00:29:50.880 During the custody battle,

00:29:52.040 you would,

00:29:52.260 you would go to court

00:29:52.920 and the dad would say,

00:29:53.980 she's putting my son

00:29:56.280 in dresses

00:29:56.800 and calling him Luna

00:29:58.040 and trying to tell him

00:29:58.840 he's a girl.

00:30:00.920 And the judge would say,

00:30:02.000 okay,

00:30:02.540 the kid,

00:30:03.000 the kid goes to Jeff.

00:30:04.200 End of discussion.

00:30:05.160 Oh,

00:30:05.280 and by the way,

00:30:05.660 you're not allowed

00:30:06.120 within 500 yards

00:30:07.060 of that child.

00:30:08.920 Not only do you

00:30:09.620 not get custody,

00:30:10.420 you can't see him

00:30:11.500 or be near him. 1.00

00:30:12.780 You lunatic. 1.00

00:30:16.800 This is a form 1.00

00:30:17.800 of psychological

00:30:18.720 and sexual abuse.

00:30:20.760 Yes,

00:30:20.920 it is sexual abuse.

00:30:25.020 That is,

00:30:26.600 previous generations

00:30:27.860 would have looked on this

00:30:28.900 and in,

00:30:29.720 in unspeakable horror,

00:30:32.720 unable to even

00:30:34.740 understand what

00:30:35.700 they're watching.

00:30:40.140 This is definitely

00:30:40.980 something to keep in mind.

00:30:42.980 I,

00:30:43.100 I,

00:30:43.440 I hear from

00:30:44.220 sing,

00:30:44.800 speaking of single people,

00:30:45.840 I hear from single people

00:30:46.740 all the time

00:30:47.340 looking for,

00:30:48.820 you know,

00:30:49.080 a match out there

00:30:49.980 and it's,

00:30:50.540 it's,

00:30:50.820 it can be difficult

00:30:51.380 in this culture

00:30:52.060 to find that,

00:30:54.180 especially as a conservative

00:30:55.440 or a Christian 0.93

00:30:56.040 to find someone

00:30:56.600 who shares your values.

00:30:58.500 And,

00:30:59.020 I hear from young men

00:31:00.500 saying,

00:31:00.800 you know,

00:31:00.860 how do I find

00:31:01.380 a good woman? 0.91

00:31:02.560 And women saying 0.99

00:31:03.480 that about men.

00:31:04.020 Well,

00:31:04.140 I tell you one thing.

00:31:08.120 Here's one question

00:31:08.980 you should ask

00:31:09.540 very early on

00:31:10.520 before you even

00:31:11.960 consider marriage

00:31:13.240 or anything.

00:31:15.100 Whether you're a woman,

00:31:16.280 you know,

00:31:17.120 dating a man

00:31:17.760 or man dating a woman.

00:31:19.780 One of the first

00:31:20.700 questions you ask

00:31:21.540 early on

00:31:22.080 should be on this topic.

00:31:24.760 Do you think

00:31:25.540 it would ever be possible

00:31:26.860 there's ever a scenario

00:31:28.860 when a little boy

00:31:30.780 should be raised

00:31:31.300 as a girl?

00:31:33.100 I would pose that question.

00:31:34.700 And if you get

00:31:35.720 anything other than

00:31:37.100 an absolutely

00:31:37.980 hell no,

00:31:39.520 run in the opposite direction.

00:31:43.500 This is one of the most

00:31:44.420 horrifying things

00:31:45.160 to think about.

00:31:46.920 That you get married

00:31:47.820 to someone

00:31:48.220 and you have a kid

00:31:49.100 and then they

00:31:49.880 do this

00:31:50.860 to your kid.

00:31:54.460 And it would be

00:31:55.220 bad enough

00:31:55.800 in a sane,

00:31:56.660 society

00:31:57.220 if that were to happen.

00:31:58.980 But at least then

00:31:59.840 all you have to do

00:32:00.520 is go get,

00:32:01.040 you got to get the divorce

00:32:02.020 and you'll get custody

00:32:04.300 because you married 1.00

00:32:05.820 a crazy person. 0.99

00:32:07.960 But now you know

00:32:08.820 our whole system

00:32:09.760 is against you.

00:32:10.560 They're going to be

00:32:10.920 on the side

00:32:11.760 of your spouse

00:32:12.660 doing this to your child.

00:32:16.940 So there's a question.

00:32:17.900 You know what?

00:32:18.180 I would pose that

00:32:19.100 on the first date.

00:32:20.700 Be one of the first

00:32:21.480 things I would ask.

00:32:23.920 You're going to scare

00:32:24.540 a lot of people away

00:32:25.220 that way.

00:32:25.700 That's all for the better.

00:32:27.840 Because I wouldn't

00:32:28.460 even consider it.

00:32:29.520 This is a risk

00:32:30.080 I would not take.

00:32:32.400 I would want to know

00:32:33.420 that you are firmly

00:32:34.580 against this

00:32:35.300 and there is no chance

00:32:36.680 that you would ever

00:32:37.420 even consider it.

00:32:40.460 All right.

00:32:41.600 The White House

00:32:42.480 is using

00:32:43.480 TikTok influencers

00:32:44.720 to push the vaccine now.

00:32:46.860 And here's the latest.

00:32:48.720 I don't know

00:32:49.000 who this guy is.

00:32:49.800 He's a TikTok influencer.

00:32:51.620 That's all I know

00:32:52.140 about him.

00:32:53.260 And here he is

00:32:54.220 at the White House

00:32:55.360 doing this weird

00:32:56.240 little skit

00:32:56.860 which I guess

00:32:58.080 ostensibly is supposed

00:32:59.040 to promote the vaccines.

00:33:00.720 Here it is.

00:33:01.920 One sec.

00:33:02.980 Democracy's calling.

00:33:04.140 See you daddy.

00:33:04.760 Bye.

00:33:05.260 Hi.

00:33:05.780 My name is Cooper

00:33:06.700 and this is a day

00:33:07.960 in my life

00:33:08.420 as a White House intern.

00:33:11.800 We did a joke.

00:33:13.580 Hey everyone.

00:33:14.880 Vote.

00:33:15.140 Usually I start off

00:33:17.020 with a big coffee.

00:33:18.980 Sorry.

00:33:19.340 They're like really

00:33:19.900 strict in here.

00:33:20.660 Hey Jenny.

00:33:21.440 I booked you

00:33:21.860 an ale appointment, love.

00:33:23.000 Yeah, I didn't tell you

00:33:23.640 to do that.

00:33:24.220 It's called initiative.

00:33:25.640 Hi, White House.

00:33:26.560 This is Cooper.

00:33:27.580 I don't think so.

00:33:29.340 Oh, doesn't matter.

00:33:30.880 This is actually

00:33:32.020 the entrance

00:33:32.600 to the West Wing.

00:33:33.820 This is so fun

00:33:34.660 and it's really prestigious.

00:33:36.000 Hey POTUS.

00:33:37.380 Is Olivia Rodrigo

00:33:38.360 still here?

00:33:39.020 No.

00:33:41.160 We've come a long way

00:33:42.360 in our fight

00:33:42.780 against this virus.

00:33:43.560 We've vaccinated

00:33:44.220 160 million Americans.

00:33:46.200 Are you getting this all down?

00:33:47.240 Don't worry, Queen.

00:33:48.140 It's all right here.

00:33:49.640 Cooper.

00:33:50.820 Sorry, Miss Jen.

00:33:51.980 Hey Jen. 0.93

00:33:52.540 Don't forget to have fun.

00:33:54.060 Spirit fingers, mama. 0.81

00:33:55.380 We need to get shots 0.99

00:33:56.300 in the arms 0.99

00:33:56.920 of every single American.

00:33:59.140 I'm heading to a haircut.

00:34:00.360 Comment if you want me

00:34:01.040 to make more of these.

00:34:02.980 No, please don't.

00:34:04.440 I'll leave a comment.

00:34:05.240 Please don't make more of these.

00:34:07.100 Remember when we were told

00:34:08.160 that the Biden White House,

00:34:09.500 this is going to be

00:34:10.120 the adults in charge, right?

00:34:11.540 Biden is a presidential.

00:34:17.300 President Trump

00:34:17.940 was not presidential.

00:34:18.960 Biden is going to be presidential.

00:34:21.400 He would never besmirch

00:34:22.880 the honor

00:34:23.460 of his sacred office.

00:34:25.400 Isn't it where we were told

00:34:26.160 all that stuff?

00:34:28.500 And now they're inviting

00:34:29.560 cross-dressing

00:34:30.640 TikTok influencers

00:34:32.320 into the White House,

00:34:34.360 into their offices

00:34:35.520 to do whatever the hell

00:34:39.420 that's supposed to be.

00:34:40.160 And what is that supposed to be?

00:34:42.500 And who is it supposed

00:34:43.240 to appeal to?

00:34:44.280 I thought we were,

00:34:45.200 we've been told

00:34:45.880 that the ones

00:34:48.040 who are not getting

00:34:48.660 the vaccine

00:34:49.240 are all of the MAGA

00:34:50.800 Trump supporters, right?

00:34:54.080 Those are all the people

00:34:54.880 who aren't getting the vaccine.

00:34:55.800 They're the ones

00:34:56.180 who are causing

00:34:56.700 all these problems.

00:34:59.080 And that's why you see

00:34:59.920 the virus spreading

00:35:00.720 in the South.

00:35:01.960 And it's just a coincidence

00:35:02.780 that it's spreading,

00:35:03.660 yeah, it's in the South,

00:35:04.500 but at the same time

00:35:05.060 it's also many cases

00:35:06.140 right next to the border

00:35:07.080 where we've got thousands

00:35:08.080 of illegal immigrants,

00:35:09.740 many of them infected

00:35:10.500 with COVID coming across,

00:35:11.400 but that's all a coincidence,

00:35:12.220 we're told.

00:35:12.780 No, this is all about

00:35:13.740 right-wing, you know,

00:35:16.160 redneck Trump supporters, 0.56

00:35:19.200 anti-science,

00:35:20.360 so on and so forth.

00:35:21.580 If that's really the case,

00:35:23.320 is that,

00:35:24.140 you think that's how

00:35:24.980 you're going to get them?

00:35:27.240 A Trump supporter

00:35:28.220 with a Trump flag

00:35:29.660 on the back of his pickup truck,

00:35:31.460 okay?

00:35:33.020 That's the picture

00:35:33.980 of a guy

00:35:34.720 who, according to the left,

00:35:36.180 is not getting vaccinated,

00:35:37.340 and he's the super spreader

00:35:38.780 out there in his pickup truck

00:35:40.060 getting everyone sick,

00:35:41.080 according to them.

00:35:42.660 You think he's going to see that?

00:35:45.820 A cross-dressing TikTok influencer

00:35:47.640 and say,

00:35:47.940 you know something?

00:35:48.740 I think I'll get that vaccine.

00:35:51.400 This man in this dress here

00:35:53.300 makes a great point.

00:35:56.980 This is, among other things,

00:35:58.200 a tacit admission

00:35:59.240 that

00:36:00.520 many of the anti-vaxxers

00:36:04.540 are not, in fact,

00:36:06.580 right-wingers.

00:36:08.200 All right,

00:36:08.720 here's some more 0.97

00:36:09.520 masking hypocrisy 0.88

00:36:10.640 if you needed more of it.

00:36:11.580 Rashida Tlaib at a wedding.

00:36:12.780 I think we have video of her.

00:36:14.740 There we go.

00:36:15.640 Okay, she's dancing,

00:36:16.440 having a good time.

00:36:17.420 You see a mask

00:36:18.040 in that crowd at all?

00:36:20.680 They're all bunched together,

00:36:22.340 not one single mask in sight.

00:36:26.740 So, 0.97

00:36:28.160 you have more hypocrisy 0.88

00:36:28.980 from that. 0.96

00:36:31.520 Well, at least she's

00:36:32.180 having a good time.

00:36:33.340 We all agree?

00:36:34.060 That's the most important thing

00:36:35.000 is at least she's having fun.

00:36:37.420 I'm not going to repeat

00:36:38.240 my whole diatribe

00:36:38.900 from yesterday.

00:36:39.420 You know my point on this.

00:36:41.300 Let's not bother

00:36:42.240 getting mad about it.

00:36:44.940 They're at a wedding.

00:36:45.920 They're dancing around.

00:36:46.580 They're having a good time.

00:36:48.520 Do likewise.

00:36:51.580 In some ways,

00:36:53.220 if you want to look at it

00:36:53.980 from the most positive perspective,

00:36:55.200 you want to see the silver lining,

00:36:58.560 what this shows you

00:36:59.420 is that the people

00:37:00.280 in charge

00:37:01.020 who are pushing

00:37:01.680 these policies,

00:37:02.740 they are not actually

00:37:04.320 personally worried

00:37:05.740 about the coronavirus.

00:37:07.840 They're not worried about it.

00:37:09.440 So, if you are worried about it

00:37:10.940 and you hear from these people

00:37:12.980 and you see the policies

00:37:13.740 they're pushing

00:37:14.200 and you see the things

00:37:14.940 that they say,

00:37:15.460 you hear the things

00:37:15.920 they say on cable news

00:37:16.740 and that makes you afraid

00:37:18.220 and scared,

00:37:19.320 it shouldn't.

00:37:20.840 But if it does,

00:37:21.960 look at that video

00:37:22.780 and realize,

00:37:23.480 oh wait, no, no,

00:37:23.940 she's not worried at all.

00:37:26.860 And you shouldn't be either.

00:37:28.140 You should just live your life.

00:37:29.240 Also, speaking of Rashida Tlaib,

00:37:30.380 she tweeted this yesterday.

00:37:31.320 She said,

00:37:31.640 Mike Brown is a tragic reminder.

00:37:33.700 I'm not sure why she was talking

00:37:34.540 about Mike Brown,

00:37:35.060 but she was.

00:37:35.860 Mike Brown is a tragic reminder

00:37:37.120 that state-sponsored murder exists

00:37:39.140 and he and many others

00:37:40.560 serve as angels

00:37:41.460 of our conscience

00:37:42.280 to keep fighting

00:37:44.080 for true racial justice.

00:37:46.240 Those who are complicit

00:37:47.040 and standing on the sidelines

00:37:48.200 enable this injustice

00:37:49.420 to continue.

00:37:50.460 She did say angels

00:37:51.240 of our conscience,

00:37:52.240 which I think she meant conscience.

00:37:54.240 But in any case,

00:37:56.220 we have the left yet again

00:37:58.060 or still hanging on

00:38:00.960 to this Mike Brown fable

00:38:02.600 of someone who was murdered

00:38:04.860 by the police,

00:38:05.600 even though Mike Brown,

00:38:08.840 it was not just that

00:38:10.500 the officer, Darren Wilson,

00:38:12.040 was cleared by a local investigation,

00:38:15.220 which he was.

00:38:18.200 And there was eyewitness testimony

00:38:19.920 and forensic evidence

00:38:21.180 that Mike Brown was charging

00:38:23.560 at Darren Wilson

00:38:24.480 and trying to take his gun,

00:38:26.880 was in the process 0.80

00:38:27.460 of trying to kill him 0.72

00:38:28.420 and then got shot 0.83

00:38:29.140 for his trouble.

00:38:31.920 But it wasn't just that.

00:38:33.660 Barack Obama's DOJ

00:38:35.480 under Eric Holder

00:38:36.680 did an investigation

00:38:37.940 and came to the same conclusion.

00:38:42.860 So is he part

00:38:44.200 of the white supremacist conspiracy?

00:38:45.780 I guess so.

00:38:47.140 I guess that's what

00:38:47.660 they're telling us.

00:38:49.600 All right.

00:38:49.940 Finally, before we get

00:38:51.000 to reading the comments here,

00:38:52.440 this is important

00:38:53.900 that I talk to you about this.

00:38:54.900 You guys know

00:38:55.400 how I feel about cyclists.

00:38:58.080 I am not a fan

00:38:59.940 of cyclists at all.

00:39:01.620 And here is,

00:39:02.060 we have the tweet from

00:39:03.200 someone put out,

00:39:06.700 okay, here it is.

00:39:07.640 Jeremy Vine.

00:39:09.240 I don't know

00:39:09.700 who that is exactly,

00:39:11.480 but he's got a big following.

00:39:12.480 So he's a well-known guy.

00:39:13.800 He put out a tweet

00:39:14.600 a couple of days ago

00:39:15.460 with a video of cyclists

00:39:17.980 on a backcountry road.

00:39:19.580 And they're not,

00:39:20.100 they're not like lined up

00:39:21.320 one by one

00:39:22.180 in single file line.

00:39:23.640 There's four or five of them

00:39:25.000 across,

00:39:25.660 taking up the entire lane.

00:39:27.960 And Jeremy Vine says,

00:39:29.240 people who cycle

00:39:29.940 in the country

00:39:30.460 should be encouraged

00:39:31.280 to ride two,

00:39:32.360 three,

00:39:32.640 and four abreast

00:39:33.640 like this

00:39:34.340 for the following reasons.

00:39:36.300 One,

00:39:36.680 it calms the traffic

00:39:37.700 behind them

00:39:38.460 and makes it less easy

00:39:39.980 for bad drivers

00:39:40.940 to attempt dangerous passes.

00:39:43.280 Three,

00:39:43.760 it's more pleasant

00:39:44.700 and sociable for them.

00:39:47.040 All right,

00:39:47.780 let me tell you,

00:39:48.620 if you're a cyclist,

00:39:50.360 as a motorist myself,

00:39:53.720 let me give you the scoop.

00:39:56.100 It absolutely

00:39:57.100 does not calm

00:39:58.520 the traffic behind you

00:39:59.780 when you're holding us all up.

00:40:01.420 We are not calm behind you.

00:40:03.440 You might be calm

00:40:04.320 and having a nice time.

00:40:05.400 We are not.

00:40:05.920 We're very angry.

00:40:08.020 And it doesn't make

00:40:09.120 passing you

00:40:09.840 easier or less dangerous

00:40:11.880 when we can't see

00:40:13.100 as well

00:40:13.660 what's in front of you.

00:40:16.800 And as far as it being

00:40:17.740 more pleasant and sociable,

00:40:18.940 it might be,

00:40:19.700 but let me tell you

00:40:20.160 something else.

00:40:20.820 We don't give a damn

00:40:22.280 if your ride

00:40:24.400 is pleasant and sociable.

00:40:25.540 As I tweeted back

00:40:26.400 to this guy,

00:40:26.840 I said,

00:40:27.020 nobody gives a damn

00:40:27.740 if your ride

00:40:28.160 is pleasant and sociable, 1.00

00:40:29.520 you roadway parasite. 0.99

00:40:30.820 Get out of the way. 0.99

00:40:32.860 You know,

00:40:33.120 I think I have a really

00:40:34.500 gentle way

00:40:36.920 of going about

00:40:37.440 these things,

00:40:37.900 don't I?

00:40:39.580 You are. 0.98

00:40:40.020 You're like a barnacle. 1.00

00:40:41.240 You're a parasitic 1.00

00:40:43.060 infestation 1.00

00:40:48.500 of the roadway.

00:40:50.620 Oh,

00:40:51.160 it's a pleasant

00:40:51.760 and sociable ride.

00:40:53.860 That's not what

00:40:54.760 the road is for.

00:40:56.420 It is there for cars

00:40:58.060 to get from point A

00:40:59.640 to point B.

00:41:01.060 That's why it's there.

00:41:02.660 You want pleasant

00:41:03.600 and sociable?

00:41:04.460 Go on a bike path

00:41:05.700 in the woods.

00:41:07.540 Okay?

00:41:08.240 Or go to the gym

00:41:09.160 and get on a stationary bicycle

00:41:10.580 and sit next to someone

00:41:11.900 and you can have

00:41:12.300 all the conversation

00:41:13.040 and be as pleasant

00:41:13.600 and sociable as you want.

00:41:16.420 There are places

00:41:17.440 for that.

00:41:18.380 The road is not

00:41:19.040 a recreational place.

00:41:21.360 There are places

00:41:22.020 for recreation.

00:41:23.180 The road is not

00:41:23.780 one of them.

00:41:25.920 It's like I said before,

00:41:26.940 it would,

00:41:27.460 it,

00:41:27.700 I see no difference

00:41:28.460 between this

00:41:29.120 and me,

00:41:30.540 like,

00:41:30.860 taking a game

00:41:33.540 of,

00:41:33.840 taking a board game

00:41:36.320 and just putting it

00:41:37.780 in the middle of the road

00:41:38.520 and sitting around

00:41:39.400 with some people

00:41:41.040 and playing a board game.

00:41:42.120 It's pleasant,

00:41:42.780 it's sociable,

00:41:43.320 it's how I like

00:41:44.040 to enjoy myself,

00:41:44.960 it's a recreational activity.

00:41:48.120 There's a time and place

00:41:49.020 where the road

00:41:49.520 is not that.

00:41:51.340 It wasn't made for you.

00:41:52.880 I got news for you.

00:41:54.840 The road was made,

00:41:56.520 these paved roads,

00:41:58.240 okay,

00:41:58.600 that cars go on,

00:41:59.400 they were made

00:42:00.180 specifically for cars.

00:42:02.360 That's why they're there.

00:42:04.880 There are places

00:42:05.680 made for you,

00:42:06.360 it's not the road.

00:42:09.020 And someone,

00:42:09.800 I also wanted to show you this,

00:42:10.760 do we have,

00:42:11.080 someone else,

00:42:11.500 someone responded to me

00:42:12.680 on Twitter

00:42:13.060 and I was just trying

00:42:13.580 to make sense of this.

00:42:15.180 This is someone

00:42:15.780 who's a cyclist

00:42:17.260 and they were very upset

00:42:18.160 at what I said,

00:42:19.260 calling,

00:42:19.780 you know,

00:42:19.940 all I did was call 0.99

00:42:20.560 cyclists roadway parasites. 0.99

00:42:21.840 I don't see the big deal. 0.97

00:42:23.080 But he said, 1.00

00:42:23.940 eat crap and die, 1.00

00:42:25.700 apiarist scum. 1.00

00:42:26.980 I gotta say, 1.00

00:42:29.620 that is the first time

00:42:30.800 I've ever heard

00:42:31.500 that phrase, 1.00

00:42:32.080 apiarist scum. 1.00

00:42:32.940 Apiarist is a beekeeper, 1.00

00:42:34.260 which I am.

00:42:35.080 Well,

00:42:35.260 I'm a beekeeper

00:42:35.740 in spirit right now

00:42:36.540 because when we moved,

00:42:37.760 I had to give away

00:42:38.200 all the bees,

00:42:38.620 unfortunately.

00:42:39.040 But in my heart,

00:42:39.760 I'm still a beekeeper.

00:42:40.760 Once a beekeeper,

00:42:41.580 always a beekeeper.

00:42:43.040 This is a level

00:42:44.380 of hostility

00:42:45.000 towards beekeepers

00:42:45.820 that I have never

00:42:46.620 seen before. 1.00

00:42:48.840 Apiarist scum. 1.00

00:42:51.160 There's this guy 1.00

00:42:51.640 like some super villain

00:42:52.640 from Captain Planet.

00:42:53.760 He's got some sort

00:42:56.240 of plot

00:42:56.680 to destroy

00:42:58.120 all the bees

00:42:58.700 in the world

00:42:59.060 for no reason.

00:43:01.300 Very strange.

00:43:02.380 Lots of anger

00:43:02.920 on Twitter.

00:43:04.040 And again,

00:43:04.340 I don't know

00:43:04.660 what I did

00:43:05.340 to provoke it.

00:43:05.960 All I said was,

00:43:06.700 all I did was 0.99

00:43:07.080 call people parasites. 0.98

00:43:07.920 That's it. 0.97

00:43:08.980 All right,

00:43:09.280 let's go now

00:43:09.900 to reading the comments.

00:43:11.200 If I could find them,

00:43:11.900 here they are.

00:43:13.200 Lee Jordan says,

00:43:14.080 Matt,

00:43:14.280 I was hoping you

00:43:14.840 could help me

00:43:15.600 with something.

00:43:16.320 Could you tell me

00:43:17.020 if Ben Shapiro

00:43:17.780 has recently written

00:43:18.720 a book or not?

00:43:19.820 And I'm not sure.

00:43:20.460 I haven't heard

00:43:21.080 much about that.

00:43:22.160 So I'm not exactly sure.

00:43:24.180 Let's see.

00:43:24.520 Nicholas says,

00:43:25.400 look here, Matt,

00:43:26.100 murder is most definitely

00:43:27.280 worse than rape

00:43:29.020 for obvious reasons.

00:43:29.860 Now,

00:43:30.080 if you want to lower

00:43:30.580 the bar on death row

00:43:31.540 to conclude rape,

00:43:32.520 then go for it.

00:43:33.120 But that doesn't mean

00:43:33.620 it would or should

00:43:34.820 then be considered

00:43:35.580 equal sins.

00:43:37.220 Also,

00:43:37.440 your show is by far

00:43:38.360 the best on The Daily Wire

00:43:39.280 by a lot.

00:43:40.020 Well,

00:43:40.240 okay.

00:43:41.060 I was about to be angry

00:43:42.000 at you for disagreeing

00:43:42.860 with me,

00:43:43.200 but you've successfully

00:43:44.660 flattered your way

00:43:45.440 out of that.

00:43:46.700 No,

00:43:46.940 I think murder

00:43:48.120 is a broad category,

00:43:49.180 first of all.

00:43:49.740 it's not all

00:43:53.400 murder is the same.

00:43:54.260 And that's why

00:43:54.520 we have degrees

00:43:55.200 for that.

00:43:57.280 And we make

00:43:58.340 a distinction,

00:43:58.940 for example,

00:43:59.380 between premeditated

00:44:00.520 murder and,

00:44:01.440 you know,

00:44:01.840 so-called a crime

00:44:02.580 of passion,

00:44:03.120 something that happens

00:44:03.640 in the heat of the moment.

00:44:04.260 what I'm saying

00:44:07.420 is that,

00:44:09.000 yeah,

00:44:09.300 there are more,

00:44:10.520 there are potentially

00:44:11.320 more evil things

00:44:12.360 you can do

00:44:12.980 than kill someone.

00:44:16.420 And it really depends

00:44:17.920 on the circumstance,

00:44:18.720 yet again.

00:44:20.380 But the idea

00:44:21.180 that,

00:44:22.600 because we were talking

00:44:23.280 yesterday about a child 0.88

00:44:24.060 rapist who was beat

00:44:24.760 to death in prison, 0.99

00:44:25.980 after somehow

00:44:27.060 being put in a prison cell

00:44:28.740 with one of his

00:44:31.160 victim's older brother,

00:44:32.760 one of the children 0.97

00:44:33.500 that he raped, 0.98

00:44:34.100 he was in a, 1.00

00:44:34.780 this child rapist 1.00

00:44:35.520 was in a prison 1.00

00:44:36.140 with that child's

00:44:37.560 older brother

00:44:38.000 and then was beat

00:44:38.760 to death

00:44:39.180 by that older brother.

00:44:41.520 And rather than

00:44:42.360 getting a medal

00:44:43.280 of commendation,

00:44:44.280 as some of us say

00:44:45.080 he should have gotten,

00:44:46.220 he was given 25 years

00:44:47.700 in prison.

00:44:49.200 But the idea

00:44:50.240 that all murder

00:44:52.680 is automatically

00:44:54.340 worse,

00:44:55.220 significantly worse

00:44:56.280 than child rape, 0.80

00:44:57.820 I think is absurd. 0.91

00:45:01.260 You know, 0.94

00:45:01.500 child rape is 0.82

00:45:02.660 at least among,

00:45:06.800 it's,

00:45:07.020 if you want to list

00:45:07.940 the worst things

00:45:09.120 a human can do,

00:45:10.920 it's number one

00:45:12.060 on the list.

00:45:12.560 There might be other

00:45:13.180 things on the list

00:45:13.880 tied with it,

00:45:14.960 but it's there.

00:45:16.000 It's not number two

00:45:16.740 or three.

00:45:18.720 And so whatever

00:45:19.580 penalties we have

00:45:20.660 in place for the worst

00:45:21.820 things a person can do

00:45:23.260 should apply there.

00:45:25.160 And it's also,

00:45:27.680 it's also not even

00:45:28.840 a measure of how

00:45:29.880 horrible the crime is,

00:45:30.900 even though it is

00:45:31.420 the most horrible.

00:45:32.320 There's another factor

00:45:33.040 here also,

00:45:33.580 which is that

00:45:34.120 depending on the

00:45:37.000 circumstance,

00:45:37.400 there could be a person

00:45:38.140 who commits a murder,

00:45:39.440 does their time,

00:45:41.300 and can go back out

00:45:42.580 into society

00:45:43.180 and be a contributing

00:45:44.620 member of society

00:45:45.300 and not be any real

00:45:46.300 danger to anybody.

00:45:47.340 Again,

00:45:47.580 it depends on the

00:45:48.260 situation.

00:45:50.540 But you commit 0.97

00:45:51.360 child rape,

00:45:52.140 you're never, 0.99

00:45:53.980 you can never be

00:45:54.660 a contributing

00:45:55.000 member of society

00:45:55.680 again and it will

00:45:57.140 never be safe

00:45:57.900 to let you out

00:45:58.480 of prison ever again

00:45:59.280 because of the

00:46:00.300 nature of the crime

00:46:01.040 and the nature

00:46:01.540 of the people

00:46:02.240 who commit

00:46:02.880 these sorts of crimes.

00:46:04.980 And the psychological

00:46:05.880 state that is

00:46:06.900 necessary for a person

00:46:08.120 to do that is just

00:46:09.340 this is someone

00:46:09.820 who can never be

00:46:10.680 trusted out in

00:46:11.560 human society

00:46:12.160 ever again,

00:46:13.560 which I think

00:46:14.200 is another reason

00:46:14.820 that,

00:46:15.920 another reason why

00:46:17.240 we should consider

00:46:18.300 them as candidates

00:46:19.560 for the gurney

00:46:22.140 Todd says,

00:46:24.540 hey Matt,

00:46:24.880 I don't think

00:46:25.260 the way the

00:46:25.680 Star Wars shop

00:46:26.360 owner handled

00:46:26.900 the situation

00:46:27.460 was very charitable.

00:46:28.820 I understand his

00:46:29.380 point,

00:46:29.740 but he talked

00:46:30.180 to the person

00:46:30.600 in a way

00:46:30.900 that's never

00:46:31.320 going to change

00:46:31.800 someone's opinion.

00:46:32.960 I also understand

00:46:33.440 the person in the

00:46:33.940 shop was acting 1.00

00:46:34.420 like a jerk, 0.99

00:46:34.920 but that doesn't 1.00

00:46:35.280 give the shop

00:46:35.720 owner license

00:46:36.160 to treat someone

00:46:36.800 like that.

00:46:37.620 It's like when

00:46:38.000 people protesting

00:46:38.640 at an abortion

00:46:39.160 clinic are mean 1.00

00:46:39.820 to the women

00:46:40.160 going inside.

00:46:40.760 I doubt that's

00:46:41.200 ever going to

00:46:41.760 ever work to

00:46:42.620 stop an abortion. 0.92

00:46:43.360 Well,

00:46:43.960 I've been outside

00:46:44.560 of a lot of

00:46:45.000 abortion clinics

00:46:45.640 and I have

00:46:47.320 actually never seen

00:46:48.180 that.

00:46:48.580 I'm not saying

00:46:48.860 it never

00:46:49.180 happens,

00:46:49.700 but that's

00:46:50.000 a stereotype

00:46:50.760 that is most

00:46:51.380 of the time

00:46:51.700 unfair.

00:46:54.080 By far and

00:46:54.840 away,

00:46:55.120 the people

00:46:55.420 that are

00:46:56.140 outside of

00:46:56.540 abortion clinics

00:46:57.260 praying,

00:46:58.180 holding vigil,

00:46:59.320 these are some

00:46:59.900 of the nicest

00:47:00.580 and most gentle

00:47:01.740 humans you will 0.97

00:47:02.500 ever meet.

00:47:02.900 You have to be

00:47:03.420 to do that.

00:47:06.360 But I would

00:47:06.960 agree,

00:47:07.240 in that situation,

00:47:08.140 if you've got

00:47:08.620 a woman walking

00:47:09.300 into an abortion

00:47:09.920 clinic,

00:47:10.400 the last thing

00:47:11.080 you want to do

00:47:11.700 is scream 0.99

00:47:12.800 expletives at her.

00:47:14.360 That's very

00:47:14.900 different from

00:47:17.440 someone who

00:47:17.960 confronts you

00:47:18.980 and is

00:47:20.840 demanding

00:47:21.440 that you

00:47:23.320 forfeit

00:47:25.140 your understanding

00:47:26.220 of reality

00:47:27.500 for their

00:47:28.000 sake.

00:47:28.720 Feels themselves

00:47:29.720 entitled to

00:47:30.760 that.

00:47:32.380 Trying to

00:47:33.080 impose

00:47:33.740 themselves

00:47:34.380 on you.

00:47:36.440 For that,

00:47:37.400 no,

00:47:37.580 I have to

00:47:37.880 agree with

00:47:38.200 you,

00:47:38.380 Todd.

00:47:38.660 I disagree,

00:47:39.500 rather.

00:47:42.560 I don't

00:47:43.520 think we

00:47:43.780 should be

00:47:44.120 charitable.

00:47:45.580 And if

00:47:46.180 there was a

00:47:46.520 time for

00:47:47.100 responding

00:47:47.640 charitably

00:47:48.220 in situations

00:47:49.620 like that,

00:47:50.280 that time

00:47:50.740 is over.

00:47:52.240 That's not

00:47:52.800 going to

00:47:52.980 work anymore.

00:47:55.840 Sometimes you

00:47:56.560 have to yell,

00:47:57.180 sometimes you

00:47:57.500 have to get a

00:47:57.920 little loud

00:47:58.620 to be heard

00:47:59.460 above the

00:47:59.860 noise.

00:48:01.840 There's times

00:48:02.640 for whispering

00:48:03.260 and being

00:48:03.740 more gentle

00:48:04.300 and taking

00:48:04.860 a softer

00:48:05.320 approach,

00:48:06.060 but that's

00:48:06.600 not every

00:48:06.980 time.

00:48:09.060 There may

00:48:09.640 still be

00:48:09.980 situations in

00:48:10.580 our culture

00:48:10.920 where that

00:48:11.280 approach is

00:48:11.720 called for,

00:48:12.320 but they're

00:48:12.620 dwindling

00:48:13.080 as the

00:48:16.200 other side

00:48:16.560 becomes more

00:48:17.100 and more

00:48:17.320 aggressive.

00:48:19.100 But certainly

00:48:19.700 when someone

00:48:20.160 comes up to

00:48:21.780 you like that

00:48:22.360 is getting

00:48:23.040 in your

00:48:23.340 face,

00:48:24.720 making

00:48:25.120 demands,

00:48:25.740 making

00:48:26.020 hysterical,

00:48:27.400 unreasonable,

00:48:28.340 insane demands,

00:48:31.200 no,

00:48:31.700 I think they

00:48:31.980 need to be

00:48:32.240 put in their

00:48:32.520 place.

00:48:34.700 For their

00:48:35.260 own sake

00:48:35.720 and just

00:48:36.200 because that's

00:48:36.580 what they

00:48:36.760 deserve.

00:48:39.660 All right,

00:48:40.160 let's see what

00:48:40.540 else we got

00:48:40.880 here.

00:48:41.620 Um,

00:48:43.080 air first

00:48:43.980 says,

00:48:44.720 how does

00:48:45.840 Matt pull

00:48:46.380 off sounding

00:48:46.920 both like a

00:48:47.520 millennial and

00:48:48.440 an 80-year-old

00:48:49.100 man?

00:48:49.440 I have to

00:48:49.760 admit that's

00:48:50.200 a pretty good

00:48:50.620 description of

00:48:51.560 me and

00:48:51.940 probably the

00:48:52.440 show.

00:48:53.480 Chloe says, 0.98

00:48:54.280 dang,

00:48:54.560 Matt,

00:48:54.760 your makeup

00:48:55.140 is on

00:48:55.500 point today,

00:48:56.060 looking good.

00:48:58.120 Yes,

00:48:58.520 I do wear

00:48:59.080 makeup on

00:48:59.500 the show,

00:48:59.820 Chloe,

00:49:00.140 but for

00:49:00.540 mentioning it

00:49:01.100 in that way,

00:49:01.660 you're banned

00:49:01.980 from the

00:49:02.260 show.

00:49:02.520 We don't

00:49:02.780 speak of

00:49:03.180 it.

00:49:03.640 We don't

00:49:04.020 talk about

00:49:04.360 the makeup.

00:49:05.740 You know

00:49:06.300 that.

00:49:07.740 You have

00:49:08.280 breached

00:49:09.840 a certain

00:49:11.020 trust by

00:49:11.980 bringing that

00:49:12.420 up.

00:49:12.560 We pretend

00:49:13.420 that's not

00:49:13.860 the game.

00:49:14.180 I have to

00:49:14.640 wear it.

00:49:15.280 It's part

00:49:15.620 of the

00:49:15.780 gig.

00:49:16.700 We don't

00:49:16.980 talk about

00:49:17.400 it.

00:49:17.540 This is the

00:49:17.780 last time

00:49:18.140 it will be

00:49:18.400 discussed.

00:49:19.200 Chloe.

00:49:20.480 And finally,

00:49:21.000 JR Crash

00:49:21.600 says,

00:49:22.140 Matt Walsh

00:49:22.960 makes fun

00:49:23.560 of women's

00:49:24.000 sports.

00:49:24.400 Also,

00:49:24.700 Matt Walsh

00:49:25.080 very upset

00:49:25.540 about who's

00:49:26.140 allowed to

00:49:26.680 play on

00:49:27.180 women's

00:49:27.520 sports teams.

00:49:28.720 I think I've

00:49:29.140 addressed this

00:49:29.560 many times.

00:49:30.120 I admit my

00:49:31.180 primary concern

00:49:32.300 with the

00:49:32.500 women's sports

00:49:32.940 thing is not

00:49:33.760 protecting the

00:49:34.600 sanctity of

00:49:35.100 women's sports.

00:49:35.820 I admit I

00:49:36.460 don't care about

00:49:37.080 women's sports

00:49:37.620 that much.

00:49:39.340 I still want

00:49:40.200 women's sports

00:49:40.700 to exist.

00:49:41.420 My daughter

00:49:41.800 might want to

00:49:42.220 play sports

00:49:43.300 one day and

00:49:44.620 seems unlikely

00:49:46.580 at this point.

00:49:47.120 She doesn't seem

00:49:47.420 to be heading in

00:49:47.860 that direction,

00:49:48.220 but maybe she 0.61

00:49:48.640 will.

00:49:48.940 And I want it

00:49:49.600 to be there

00:49:50.100 and available

00:49:50.460 for her.

00:49:51.020 So I do care

00:49:51.880 about it,

00:49:52.180 but that's not

00:49:52.780 at all the

00:49:53.520 primary point.

00:49:54.280 For me,

00:49:54.620 it is about

00:49:55.420 reality.

00:49:56.000 It's about

00:49:56.140 defending reality.

00:49:57.620 And women's 0.59

00:49:58.040 sports has

00:49:58.440 become one

00:49:59.160 battleground in

00:50:00.340 this fight for

00:50:00.900 reality.

00:50:01.520 I didn't choose

00:50:02.400 to make it a

00:50:02.980 battleground.

00:50:03.860 The other

00:50:04.260 side chose

00:50:04.900 for this

00:50:05.200 to be a

00:50:05.500 battleground.

00:50:06.240 And so I'm

00:50:06.820 going to fight

00:50:07.180 there.

00:50:07.740 I'm not going

00:50:08.060 to hand it

00:50:08.660 over to them

00:50:09.180 and say,

00:50:09.540 it doesn't

00:50:09.840 matter,

00:50:10.140 it's just

00:50:10.320 sports.

00:50:11.160 That I'm

00:50:11.520 not going

00:50:11.780 to do.

00:50:12.440 None of

00:50:12.740 us should

00:50:12.960 do that.

00:50:14.220 Someone was

00:50:14.720 just asking

00:50:15.280 about this

00:50:15.880 and I wasn't

00:50:16.740 sure,

00:50:16.940 but it turns

00:50:17.320 out that Ben

00:50:17.940 Shapiro did

00:50:18.920 in fact write

00:50:19.620 a new book

00:50:20.160 and it's

00:50:20.360 called The

00:50:20.600 Authoritarian

00:50:21.120 Moment.

00:50:22.120 And there

00:50:22.600 could never

00:50:22.940 be a better,

00:50:24.180 more appropriate

00:50:24.820 time for this

00:50:25.500 book to come

00:50:26.000 out because we

00:50:26.580 know,

00:50:27.240 look,

00:50:27.520 we've got New

00:50:29.480 York

00:50:29.800 instating vaccine

00:50:33.480 journey that

00:50:33.800 we have faced

00:50:34.860 for the last

00:50:35.220 year and a

00:50:35.540 half because

00:50:36.020 of COVID.

00:50:36.980 And unfortunately

00:50:37.460 it's not over

00:50:38.260 yet.

00:50:39.040 So the question

00:50:39.540 is where did

00:50:40.000 all this come

00:50:40.600 from and what

00:50:42.780 do we do

00:50:43.100 about it?

00:50:43.740 Ben Shapiro

00:50:44.320 answers both

00:50:45.180 of those

00:50:45.420 questions and

00:50:46.080 more in the

00:50:46.500 Authoritarian

00:50:47.000 Moment.

00:50:47.680 It's now

00:50:47.960 available at

00:50:48.460 Amazon,

00:50:48.940 Barnes &

00:50:49.200 Noble,

00:50:49.400 or any

00:50:49.840 other major

00:50:50.400 bookseller.

00:50:50.940 So go get

00:50:51.340 your copy now

00:50:52.080 five-star review

00:50:52.680 if you like

00:50:53.460 what you read.

00:50:54.260 Also, if you're

00:50:54.700 a Daily Wire

00:50:55.120 member and a

00:50:55.720 Candace Owens fan,

00:51:02.980 However, the

00:51:03.360 catch is you

00:51:03.960 have to be an

00:51:05.100 member to do

00:51:05.600 it.

00:51:06.080 And if you

00:51:06.360 are, your

00:51:06.820 lovely mug might

00:51:08.020 even make it

00:51:08.560 on screen.

00:51:09.280 Who knows?

00:51:09.800 Hurry, though.

00:51:16.240 on taking a

00:51:16.800 trip here, which

00:51:17.260 I highly recommend,

00:51:18.360 now's the time.

00:51:22.540 Now let's get

00:51:22.920 to our daily

00:51:23.400 cancellation.

00:51:28.040 If I wanted to

00:51:28.860 explain what the

00:51:29.480 word anachronism

00:51:30.460 means, all I'd

00:51:31.920 really need to

00:51:32.360 do is point to

00:51:33.240 this headline

00:51:33.840 just published by

00:51:34.600 NPR.

00:51:35.080 It says,

00:51:36.020 1,000-year-old

00:51:36.880 remains may be

00:51:37.880 of a highly

00:51:38.420 respected non-binary

00:51:40.160 warrior, study

00:51:41.660 finds.

00:51:43.080 Now we know

00:51:43.740 that the highly

00:51:44.440 respected non-binary

00:51:45.840 warriors of our

00:51:46.820 time are like

00:51:47.840 Demi Lovato and

00:51:49.320 that dude always

00:51:50.000 wears dresses to

00:51:50.700 the Oscars, but

00:51:52.160 neither of them

00:51:52.780 presumably were

00:51:53.460 found in an

00:51:54.080 ancient tomb.

00:51:55.460 So for some

00:51:55.800 context and to

00:51:56.740 find out who this

00:51:57.260 is, let's read

00:51:57.880 some of the

00:51:58.180 article.

00:51:58.480 It says,

00:51:58.860 Analysis of

00:52:00.040 DNA found in

00:52:00.980 Finland has

00:52:01.640 unveiled a

00:52:02.080 surprise a

00:52:02.780 century later.

00:52:03.860 The remains of

00:52:04.360 an early medieval

00:52:05.100 warrior thought to

00:52:05.880 be female may

00:52:06.760 have been

00:52:07.220 non-binary.

00:52:08.880 The new

00:52:09.200 findings challenge

00:52:10.020 previous ideas

00:52:10.780 about gender

00:52:11.320 roles and

00:52:11.720 expression and

00:52:12.280 suggest that

00:52:13.100 non-binary people

00:52:13.960 were valued and

00:52:14.660 respected members

00:52:15.320 of their

00:52:15.660 communities,

00:52:16.700 researchers concluded

00:52:17.460 in their study

00:52:18.180 published in the

00:52:18.780 peer-reviewed

00:52:19.340 European Journal

00:52:20.000 of Archaeology.

00:52:21.080 The findings are

00:52:21.620 a reminder that

00:52:22.320 biology does not

00:52:23.580 directly dictate a

00:52:24.600 person's self-identity,

00:52:25.620 said Eula

00:52:26.440 Moylanen, the

00:52:27.760 study's lead

00:52:28.340 author and

00:52:28.880 archaeologist at

00:52:29.800 Finland's

00:52:30.160 University of

00:52:30.860 Turku.

00:52:32.140 Okay, quick

00:52:32.580 sidebar here.

00:52:33.220 I looked up

00:52:33.780 Miss Eula here

00:52:35.460 and discovered

00:52:36.060 that her field

00:52:37.100 of study,

00:52:37.660 according to her

00:52:38.080 Twitter page,

00:52:39.060 is gender

00:52:40.140 archaeology,

00:52:41.520 which is a

00:52:42.360 thing.

00:52:43.600 And gender

00:52:44.220 archaeology, at

00:52:44.920 least according to

00:52:45.400 Wikipedia, is

00:52:46.240 a method of

00:52:47.060 studying past

00:52:47.860 societies through

00:52:48.720 their material

00:52:49.320 culture by

00:52:50.220 closely examining

00:52:51.000 the social

00:52:51.500 constructions of

00:52:52.260 gender identities

00:52:52.980 and relations.

00:52:53.700 In other words,

00:52:55.680 it is a totally

00:52:56.380 contrived and 0.60

00:52:57.180 useless field of

00:52:57.980 study where the 0.92

00:52:58.660 entire point is to

00:52:59.680 enable people like

00:53:00.480 Eula to impose

00:53:01.920 modern notions of

00:53:02.800 gender onto the

00:53:03.540 decomposing corpses 0.84

00:53:04.500 of people who died

00:53:05.740 centuries before any

00:53:07.060 of these notions

00:53:07.640 existed.

00:53:09.140 So now that we have

00:53:09.960 that established,

00:53:10.440 let's go back to the

00:53:11.200 article and see what

00:53:11.860 other completely

00:53:12.380 fabricated nonsense

00:53:13.380 might be in store for 0.72

00:53:14.440 us.

00:53:15.240 It says,

00:53:15.660 quote,

00:53:15.820 Archaeologists first 1.00

00:53:17.720 discovered the grave

00:53:18.500 in 1968.

00:53:19.720 Located in southern

00:53:20.460 Finland, the remains

00:53:21.260 were buried alongside a

00:53:22.560 sword and jewelry,

00:53:23.400 such as brooches,

00:53:24.560 and found in fragments

00:53:25.720 of woolen clothes,

00:53:26.740 which were a typical

00:53:27.500 feminine costume of

00:53:28.560 the era, the

00:53:29.460 researchers said.

00:53:30.680 But the use of DNA

00:53:31.460 analysis decades later

00:53:32.520 found chromosomes that

00:53:33.840 didn't match what's

00:53:35.380 expected for males or

00:53:36.360 females. 0.98

00:53:37.360 The researchers concluded

00:53:38.260 that the buried person

00:53:39.340 likely had

00:53:40.180 Kleinfelter syndrome

00:53:41.280 and was anatomically

00:53:42.340 male.

00:53:42.900 Females are typically 1.00

00:53:43.580 born with 2x

00:53:44.240 chromosomes and males

00:53:45.020 are born with

00:53:45.440 1x and 1y

00:53:46.540 chromosome.

00:53:47.500 Males born with 0.97

00:53:48.120 Kleinfelter syndrome

00:53:48.820 are born with an

00:53:49.600 extra x chromosome.

00:53:51.160 According to the UK's

00:53:52.340 National Health Service,

00:53:53.180 the syndrome affects

00:53:53.840 1 in 660 males.

00:53:55.340 Those with Kleinfelter 0.98

00:53:56.000 may have low levels

00:53:56.820 of testosterone, 1.00

00:53:57.480 a smaller penis, 1.00

00:53:59.480 yes, I did say 1.00

00:54:00.360 penis, 1.00

00:54:01.240 undescended testes, 0.98

00:54:02.480 enlarged breasts,

00:54:03.320 and infertility. 0.82

00:54:04.540 Many people aren't

00:54:05.460 diagnosed until they're

00:54:06.820 older and test their

00:54:07.840 fertility levels.

00:54:08.580 Others are never

00:54:09.040 diagnosed.

00:54:09.440 The honorable way

00:54:10.140 the warrior was buried

00:54:11.200 led researchers to

00:54:12.060 conclude that the

00:54:12.740 remains were of a

00:54:13.520 respected person whose

00:54:14.480 gender identity may

00:54:15.360 well have been

00:54:15.880 non-binary.

00:54:17.040 Quote,

00:54:17.300 it is a well-researched

00:54:18.300 study of an

00:54:18.720 interesting burial.

00:54:19.740 It demonstrates that

00:54:21.200 early medieval societies

00:54:22.360 had very nuanced

00:54:23.280 approaches to and

00:54:24.320 understandings of

00:54:25.140 gender identities.

00:54:26.780 Okay.

00:54:27.900 No, it doesn't.

00:54:29.400 So what do we

00:54:30.120 actually have here?

00:54:31.140 We have, on one hand,

00:54:32.800 the decomposed remains

00:54:34.760 of someone who died

00:54:35.720 a thousand years ago.

00:54:37.140 That person,

00:54:38.040 according to one

00:54:38.680 analysis,

00:54:39.360 may have been a male

00:54:40.460 with a genetic condition

00:54:41.500 that may have given him 0.99

00:54:43.120 a smaller penis and 0.99

00:54:44.320 larger than normal 1.00

00:54:45.080 breasts, maybe. 0.68

00:54:46.740 This individual was

00:54:47.800 buried in or with

00:54:48.880 some cloth and

00:54:49.680 jewelry and a sword.

00:54:51.640 That summarizes

00:54:52.800 literally everything

00:54:53.880 we know about him.

00:54:55.520 This poor soul can

00:54:56.860 only look on from

00:54:57.680 the afterlife helplessly

00:54:59.180 as a gaggle of

00:55:00.600 archaeological weirdos

00:55:01.880 posthumously convert 0.94

00:55:03.880 him into a drag queen. 0.94

00:55:06.340 This just gives us

00:55:07.200 all another thing to

00:55:07.920 worry about when we

00:55:08.540 die, I suppose.

00:55:10.220 Yet another thing to

00:55:11.540 worry about.

00:55:12.720 The left isn't

00:55:13.480 satisfied to merely

00:55:14.300 indoctrinate the living

00:55:15.380 into their gender

00:55:16.100 delusions.

00:55:16.640 Now they're even

00:55:17.140 digging up the dead.

00:55:19.180 Soon enough, drag queen 1.00

00:55:20.140 story hours will give

00:55:21.300 way to, you know,

00:55:22.620 drag queen seances.

00:55:24.440 On the other hand,

00:55:26.460 along with this pile

00:55:27.300 of bones, we have

00:55:29.000 the strong desire of

00:55:30.600 modern western people,

00:55:31.780 especially academics,

00:55:33.180 to find an historical

00:55:34.820 analog or even a

00:55:35.940 modern non-western

00:55:37.120 analog to contemporary

00:55:39.060 left-wing gender

00:55:39.860 theory.

00:55:40.160 Because they realize

00:55:41.760 how tenuous and

00:55:42.660 fragile the whole

00:55:43.580 thing would seem to

00:55:44.260 be if it was simply

00:55:45.260 invented out of

00:55:46.000 whole cloth in the

00:55:46.720 20th century.

00:55:47.760 They don't want to

00:55:48.520 admit, don't want to

00:55:49.620 think, that everything

00:55:51.060 they say about gender

00:55:52.040 today was conjured in

00:55:53.220 the imaginations of a

00:55:54.740 handful of

00:55:55.220 psychotherapists,

00:55:56.140 sexologists, and

00:55:57.320 other assorted 0.91

00:55:57.920 quacks. 0.99

00:55:58.420 So they insist that

00:55:59.520 all of this must

00:56:00.220 stretch far back in

00:56:01.580 time and across the

00:56:03.020 world.

00:56:03.820 It cannot be uniquely

00:56:05.080 western, especially

00:56:05.820 because to these

00:56:06.760 same people, uniquely

00:56:08.380 western things are

00:56:09.440 bad.

00:56:10.720 And that's why

00:56:11.420 they're determined to

00:56:12.200 find a primitive

00:56:12.940 rainforest tribe

00:56:14.720 somewhere where

00:56:15.400 transgenderism exists

00:56:16.620 or to find some

00:56:17.300 skeletal remains in

00:56:18.420 some old crypt that

00:56:19.800 could be taken out of

00:56:20.580 the box and put into

00:56:21.520 their gender identity

00:56:22.280 box.

00:56:24.140 That's what they want

00:56:25.000 to find, but they

00:56:26.620 will never find it.

00:56:27.840 And they certainly

00:56:28.600 have not found it in

00:56:29.700 this case.

00:56:30.920 Here's the reality.

00:56:33.080 This medieval dude

00:56:34.300 may or may not have

00:56:36.300 had a smaller than 0.99

00:56:37.160 average penis. 1.00

00:56:37.760 Frankly, it seems 0.99

00:56:38.880 unfair to speculate

00:56:39.860 when he's not here to

00:56:40.700 defend himself against

00:56:41.620 the charge.

00:56:42.640 I mean, again, just

00:56:43.160 imagine as a man

00:56:44.320 looking down from

00:56:45.440 heaven a thousand

00:56:46.100 years from now and

00:56:47.180 seeing a bunch of

00:56:47.760 scientists at your

00:56:48.620 grave going, well,

00:56:50.360 based on the

00:56:51.040 extremely tiny

00:56:51.920 reproductive organ,

00:56:53.120 we can only surmise

00:56:54.000 that this man wore

00:56:54.840 skirts and lived his 0.95

00:56:55.760 life as a woman.

00:56:57.800 That is a truly

00:56:58.840 cosmic form of

00:57:00.000 humiliation.

00:57:00.600 I feel bad for this

00:57:01.360 guy.

00:57:01.540 But all that

00:57:03.420 aside, what we

00:57:04.400 know for sure

00:57:04.960 about this dude

00:57:05.800 is that he was

00:57:06.600 absolutely not

00:57:07.900 non-binary because

00:57:09.340 non-binary as a

00:57:10.580 category did not

00:57:12.000 exist a thousand

00:57:13.160 years ago.

00:57:13.920 It didn't even

00:57:14.440 exist a hundred

00:57:15.200 years ago.

00:57:16.600 This is a very

00:57:17.500 modern, very

00:57:19.000 Western innovation. 0.70

00:57:21.020 Gender identity is

00:57:21.760 a concept that

00:57:23.160 people came up

00:57:24.160 with, and we

00:57:25.400 know who those

00:57:26.080 people were.

00:57:26.820 We know when and

00:57:27.580 how and why they

00:57:28.460 came up with it.

00:57:29.080 It's all documented

00:57:30.020 recently.

00:57:30.580 There are no

00:57:31.920 ancient tablets or

00:57:33.020 papyrus scrolls

00:57:34.040 describing the

00:57:34.660 lived experiences of

00:57:36.060 pansexual, gender

00:57:37.120 fluid trans women 0.99

00:57:38.020 because none of

00:57:39.280 those labels or

00:57:40.160 ideas existed.

00:57:42.020 You may as well

00:57:42.840 find a blue shirt

00:57:43.840 in a Bronze Age

00:57:44.680 tomb and conclude

00:57:46.020 that the person

00:57:46.540 must have worked

00:57:47.140 at Best Buy.

00:57:48.720 Perhaps next we

00:57:49.260 can get a research

00:57:49.840 paper explaining

00:57:50.520 how Socrates was

00:57:51.460 the world's first

00:57:52.160 TikTok influencer.

00:57:53.680 I mean, it is

00:57:54.200 that absurd.

00:57:54.940 It is that

00:57:55.500 insanely anachronistic.

00:57:58.180 Non-binary is a

00:57:59.280 self-perception.

00:58:00.580 which rests on

00:58:01.920 the idea that

00:58:02.480 sex and gender

00:58:03.340 are distinct

00:58:03.940 categories and

00:58:05.080 that one or

00:58:05.620 perhaps both are

00:58:06.300 fluid and subjective.

00:58:07.640 You cannot have

00:58:08.820 non-binary identifying

00:58:10.240 people without that

00:58:11.560 intellectual framework

00:58:12.640 to hold up the

00:58:13.600 entire thing.

00:58:14.720 Now, it's already

00:58:15.340 verging on quackery to

00:58:16.580 speculate about the

00:58:17.400 self-perception of a

00:58:18.360 1,000-year-old

00:58:19.300 skeleton.

00:58:20.220 There's just no way

00:58:21.180 to know.

00:58:22.200 But in this case,

00:58:23.260 we can at least

00:58:24.320 know that however

00:58:25.320 this guy perceived

00:58:26.120 himself, he did not

00:58:27.520 perceive himself as

00:58:28.340 non-binary because

00:58:29.260 there was in

00:58:29.940 ancient times no

00:58:31.160 concept of sex and

00:58:33.680 gender as distinct

00:58:34.660 or either one

00:58:35.840 being fluid.

00:58:37.480 There were simply

00:58:38.400 males and females,

00:58:40.720 men and women.

00:58:42.080 Some men might have

00:58:42.960 been more feminine.

00:58:44.300 Some men might have

00:58:45.340 even cross-dressed.

00:58:46.920 They might have

00:58:47.360 cross-dressed and

00:58:48.160 slept with other men.

00:58:49.720 Yet they were still

00:58:50.820 men.

00:58:51.720 Everyone knew they

00:58:52.660 were men and would

00:58:54.060 not have questioned

00:58:54.820 that fact.

00:58:55.460 It's not that they

00:58:57.320 rejected our

00:58:58.320 conceptions of

00:58:59.060 gender, but more

00:58:59.860 that those

00:59:00.240 conceptions would

00:59:00.980 have had absolutely

00:59:02.920 no meaning to

00:59:04.040 them.

00:59:04.820 They would not

00:59:05.420 have understood

00:59:06.100 what you were

00:59:06.760 saying if you

00:59:07.620 tried to explain

00:59:08.660 it.

00:59:10.120 Those conceptions

00:59:11.060 have no meaning

00:59:11.680 now either, but

00:59:12.800 they are familiar

00:59:14.040 at least.

00:59:15.680 You know, this is

00:59:16.120 the irony.

00:59:17.360 The left wants

00:59:17.960 us to reject the

00:59:18.740 past, tear down

00:59:19.760 the statues of

00:59:20.400 our historical

00:59:20.840 heroes, spit on

00:59:22.360 our ancestors'

00:59:22.900 graves, and embrace

00:59:25.440 the supposed

00:59:25.980 revolutionary

00:59:26.640 progress of

00:59:27.480 modern culture,

00:59:28.180 and yet, when

00:59:28.960 it comes to

00:59:29.440 their most

00:59:30.620 revolutionary and

00:59:31.680 modern ideas, they

00:59:33.460 seek cover behind

00:59:34.480 the very tombstones

00:59:35.420 they were just

00:59:35.880 spitting on.

00:59:36.940 They can't admit

00:59:37.920 that it's

00:59:38.260 revolutionary and

00:59:39.040 modern.

00:59:39.620 They want us to

00:59:40.180 believe that it's

00:59:40.680 ancient and old.

00:59:42.620 The people of the

00:59:43.420 past were a bunch

00:59:44.260 of closed-minded, 0.94

00:59:45.220 patriarchal, bigoted, 1.00

00:59:46.360 racist savages, they 1.00

00:59:47.400 tell us, but they 0.96

00:59:48.880 also had views on

00:59:49.800 gender identity that

00:59:50.660 would make a pink-haired, 0.99

00:59:51.600 nose-pierced, 23-year-old

00:59:52.840 Antifa rioter proud.

00:59:53.940 This, like

00:59:56.060 everything else they

00:59:56.820 say, is completely

00:59:58.060 incoherent.

01:00:00.280 So, to NPR and

01:00:01.820 these gender

01:00:02.340 archaeologists, I

01:00:03.280 say, you have

01:00:04.660 already desecrated

01:00:05.620 modern society

01:00:06.380 enough with this

01:00:07.120 madness. 0.97

01:00:08.440 Leave the dead

01:00:09.180 alone, you 1.00

01:00:10.380 maniacs. 0.99

01:00:12.100 Also, of course,

01:00:13.700 you're cancelled.

01:00:15.180 And we'll leave it

01:00:15.940 there for today.

01:00:17.020 Thanks for

01:00:17.300 watching, thanks for

01:00:17.860 listening, have a

01:00:19.400 speed.
