00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Wall Show, there are 10 million jobs open in this country right now because employers are finding it impossible to coax the unemployed off of their couches.
00:00:08.600 I want to talk about this crisis, and it is a crisis, and also share some of the stories from these business owners so that we can all understand what they're up against.
00:00:15.020 If you think that our country has an entitlement problem, wait until you hear this.
00:00:18.440 Also, an elementary school in Atlanta is under fire for instating racial segregation.
00:00:23.580 They literally had black classrooms and white classrooms.
00:00:26.520 Plus, Larry Elder is running for governor of California. He's a reliable conservative, very outspoken, which is why his answer about trans bathrooms was a little bit surprising and disappointing.
00:00:35.700 And the health chief down in Australia has warned the people of that country that they must avoid all conversation in public because conversation can be deadly.
00:00:44.280 Now, I hate small talk as much as the next guy, but this seems to be overboard.
00:00:48.140 We'll get into that and much more today on The Matt Wall Show.
00:00:56.520 We'll be right back.
00:01:26.520 So, those are the June numbers just now coming in.
00:01:54.260 It's probably even higher at present.
00:01:55.660 The problem, of course, a potentially cataclysmic problem, is that many of these jobs are open because the companies with those openings are simply unable to fill them.
00:02:04.300 As of May this year, over 40% of small business owners reported that they were unable to find workers.
00:02:10.360 Find enough workers, that is.
00:02:11.740 That was back when we had a then-record 8.1 million open positions.
00:02:16.740 Seems very likely that the number is now well over 50%.
00:02:19.920 And that's just for the companies that officially qualify as small businesses, right?
00:02:25.100 There's no doubt an incongruity here because while all of these millions of businesses are not able to find people to perform the tasks necessary to continue operating properly and normally,
00:02:36.160 there are right now 13 million people collecting unemployment checks.
00:02:41.440 10 million of them are specifically collecting from one of the three pandemic unemployment programs established back in March of 2020.
00:02:49.220 All three of those programs are supposed to end in September, but that assumes that Congress won't extend them.
00:02:54.800 And my guess is that Congress will extend them just as the eviction moratorium was extended and the pause on student loan payments was extended.
00:03:01.620 What all of this means together is that many Americans, millions, we can assume, are collecting unemployment, not paying their rent, not paying their student loans,
00:03:13.000 on top of the stimulus payments they received, all while they're surrounded by companies begging them to come work.
00:03:21.620 Now, I was curious about those companies.
00:03:24.560 I mean, what is it like to run a business in this climate?
00:03:26.760 A climate unlike anything we've seen before, where all of your potential workers are on the taxpayer dole, suckling on the teat, as it were, latched on and refusing to let go.
00:03:37.260 What is that like?
00:03:38.360 The media is not going to highlight these stories, just as they weren't interested in highlighting the stories of property owners who are having their property stolen from them by the CDC.
00:03:47.340 So just as in that case, I will highlight them myself.
00:03:50.220 I put this question out there on Twitter yesterday and have received hundreds of responses from business owners or people who are in charge of hiring for their companies.
00:03:57.580 I think some of these answers are quite revealing and worth reading.
00:04:00.260 So let's go through them and see what they all have in common.
00:04:04.060 Gives you a good kind of, and these are different kinds of jobs from all across the country.
00:04:07.880 Gives you a good sort of cross section to look at.
00:04:11.580 So let's read some of these.
00:04:12.460 The first says, I have three job openings for custodial work, paying $15 an hour, which I think is fair, and I live in Missouri, which is a low-cost state.
00:04:20.620 Applicants have been demanding $25 at the minimum, which is ridiculous for that kind of work.
00:04:26.040 Another says, I'm in the construction rental business.
00:04:28.300 We cannot hire mechanics, drivers, or salespeople.
00:04:31.100 I'm an inside sales guy.
00:04:32.480 We've had one applicant this year who got the job by default.
00:04:34.960 He wasn't even smart enough to get clean piss and failed his drug test.
00:04:38.820 We're so short-staffed.
00:04:40.180 Our sustainer service is minimal at best because of that fact.
00:04:42.680 We can't hire.
00:04:43.480 We have four open positions, and I've had them for months.
00:04:45.800 No applicants at all.
00:04:48.080 Another says, third generation in construction business in northwest Indiana.
00:04:51.600 Demand is way up due to people flooding outside of Chicago, but there are no workers willing to work construction.
00:04:56.220 We offer health insurance and 401k, but that's not incentive enough.
00:04:59.320 We just do not have anyone calling for jobs.
00:05:01.260 We're booked up for months, and contractors are willing to wait because everyone is in the same boat.
00:05:05.520 Another says, I have tried to interview 30 people that have applied for a job.
00:05:08.360 They just don't show up for the interviews.
00:05:10.580 Pay is never a reason because we don't even get that far.
00:05:12.960 The ones that I have been able to hire and show up have poor attendance and work ethic.
00:05:17.700 It's brutal.
00:05:18.780 I could hire two or three people right now.
00:05:20.880 I've been trying for three months.
00:05:22.700 Other people I know are in the same position.
00:05:25.220 Another says, we own a small cafe.
00:05:26.940 We cannot get people to work.
00:05:28.520 They apply, then don't show up for the interview.
00:05:30.560 We believe the application is just to show that they're trying for unemployment.
00:05:33.340 If they do show, they want crazy money and other perks unheard of in the industry.
00:05:38.060 It is across the board in this industry.
00:05:39.700 Restaurants are closing because they can't hire workers.
00:05:42.440 Our kitchen is closed.
00:05:43.420 It's insane.
00:05:44.840 Another says, we've been hiring physical therapists and ergonomists for our team.
00:05:48.620 We pay $50 to $75 an hour, so the pay has never been the issue.
00:05:52.760 But so many of the applicants are cold, rude, arrogant, just plain not nice.
00:05:57.480 My wife owns slash operates the business, and she has interviewed multiple people that have zero self-awareness,
00:06:02.020 not to mention the interviewees that get upset because the business caters to women.
00:06:05.940 And, of course, there's no such thing as gender.
00:06:08.760 Another says, family business employs over 1,000 people.
00:06:11.120 Worst labor market we've ever seen.
00:06:13.080 Hard to find applicants.
00:06:14.220 Scary how many can't pass a drug test.
00:06:16.660 Work ethic and society is collapsing.
00:06:18.300 Demand for remote work are getting unrealistic.
00:06:21.600 Another says, one, candidates are not applying at all.
00:06:24.020 Two, a lot of candidates I talked to have not worked in a year or close to it,
00:06:27.160 and they disclose that they have not worked because they've been on unemployment.
00:06:29.700 And since unemployment has stopped, they're now looking for work, which is a candidate I would not want to hire.
00:06:34.400 Three, I'm in the industry, entry-level pay.
00:06:36.960 In my industry, entry-level pay is $13 to $14 an hour.
00:06:39.600 A lot of candidates are wanting $16 to $18 an hour, and companies I work with simply don't want to pay that
00:06:44.020 or are having to pay higher wages for entry-level help.
00:06:47.000 Another says, my family has a distribution business in the automotive sector.
00:06:50.140 It's been very difficult getting people to apply for $15 an hour jobs,
00:06:53.840 and even more difficult getting applicants to show up after phone interviews
00:06:56.420 than if we get lucky enough to get a warm body with a pulse to show up for the job
00:06:59.680 and we hire them on the spot.
00:07:00.840 These new hires ghost us 50% of the time.
00:07:03.460 We're revamping our comp programs throughout as we scale out the season,
00:07:06.280 and I will be giving discretionary bonuses to those who earned it during our peak season,
00:07:10.240 making every effort to retain those that keep the engine running.
00:07:13.500 Another says, we have two units in Memphis,
00:07:15.060 and I just closed out one of the two to consolidate the staff.
00:07:19.000 Next to no one is applying.
00:07:20.560 We move from $12 an hour to $15 an hour in the kitchen.
00:07:22.980 Servers make $250 to $300 per shift, but still call out on a regular basis.
00:07:27.260 We had four call outs last Friday and five on Saturday.
00:07:29.760 We're now skeleton at our original unit,
00:07:31.440 and we have no idea how long it will be before we can find enough staff to reopen our second unit.
00:07:35.540 Very few staff end up working their full schedule.
00:07:37.840 Not one restaurant is fully staffed.
00:07:39.320 The hotel across the street only uses 200 of 450 rooms during the week
00:07:44.880 and 300 of 450 on the weekend due to lack of staff.
00:07:48.740 And another says, my husband owns a painting company,
00:07:51.140 pays $20 an hour starting, the only workers he can find wanted to be paid under the table
00:07:56.580 so they wouldn't lose unemployment.
00:07:59.200 Okay.
00:07:59.920 I could go on and on.
00:08:00.960 I mean, hundreds of stories like this.
00:08:02.560 That's just in my inbox.
00:08:04.400 Across the country, there are millions of similar tales,
00:08:06.440 and they all have certain common threads which connect them.
00:08:10.320 Candidates don't want to lose their government welfare.
00:08:12.340 That's the first priority.
00:08:14.680 They often make outrageous demands.
00:08:16.500 They make little effort during the interview process and even less when they're hired,
00:08:20.440 and lots of people can't be bothered to lay off the drugs long enough to pass the drug test.
00:08:25.640 It's clear to most thinking people that, and another thing too, by the way,
00:08:30.600 you notice there, a lot of these jobs are paying $15 an hour.
00:08:33.140 Now, we were told $15 an hour, that's the magic number.
00:08:35.500 It's a living wage, and everyone deserves $15 an hour.
00:08:37.740 A lot of these places, they're paying $15, and they still can't find people willing to do the jobs.
00:08:43.160 They can pay $20 an hour and still can't find people to do it.
00:08:46.920 So it's clear to most thinking people that the immediate culprit and cause of this crisis
00:08:51.360 are the government entitlements, which have given otherwise healthy and capable people
00:08:55.580 the option to simply do nothing,
00:08:59.220 attaching themselves instead to the taxpayer ship like barnacles.
00:09:03.560 There are, of course, people who fall on hard times and need help.
00:09:06.860 There were millions of people during the pandemic who lost their jobs
00:09:09.940 because of action taken by the state.
00:09:12.540 And that's all one thing, right?
00:09:13.880 That's one category.
00:09:15.640 But living off of the dole should not be an available lifestyle choice.
00:09:19.240 It should not be a permanent or indefinite option
00:09:21.500 that anyone can avail themselves of, even when they could easily find a job.
00:09:27.440 It's one thing for there to be a temporary resource to fall back on in a moment of dire need.
00:09:32.440 And that's the way these programs were originally sold to us.
00:09:35.360 If you were dumb enough to believe that that's all it would ever be.
00:09:38.440 It's another thing when an able-bodied person can elect,
00:09:44.500 can make the conscious choice to be a non-contributor,
00:09:48.260 sustaining himself through the efforts of contributors.
00:09:51.800 Our system has always allowed far too much of that kind of thing,
00:09:55.180 but with the extra welfare programs put in place during the pandemic,
00:09:58.120 the problem has grown to catastrophic proportions.
00:10:01.260 Businesses are now having to shut down
00:10:03.020 because, again, they cannot coax the unemployed off of their couches.
00:10:08.300 But the problem runs deeper than that.
00:10:11.280 You know, it's one thing for the government
00:10:12.780 to have these insane suicidal policies in place.
00:10:15.240 It's another thing to have a populace
00:10:17.740 so eager to take advantage of them.
00:10:20.520 I mean, the sickness at the root here
00:10:23.360 is whatever has made so many people willing to live this way.
00:10:26.680 Whatever has made this lifestyle seem appealing.
00:10:30.380 Because a healthy, well-adjusted, mature, right-minded adult
00:10:33.220 would not want to sit around for a year doing nothing.
00:10:36.700 Not paying his rent, not working a job.
00:10:39.500 Such an adult would prefer to work for a living
00:10:41.880 than to be pampered by the government.
00:10:43.800 So the real problem is that there are fewer and fewer
00:10:46.040 of those kinds of adults.
00:10:47.380 Many people are satisfied to be unproductive,
00:10:51.860 to avoid any and all work,
00:10:53.400 to live a life that requires no effort,
00:10:55.800 floating along aimlessly, going nowhere.
00:10:59.420 I mean, it's one thing to live like that upon retirement,
00:11:01.440 and even then it can drive you mad with boredom.
00:11:04.720 But to live like that at the age of 25,
00:11:07.180 having never contributed anything,
00:11:09.500 having achieved nothing,
00:11:11.480 having not even tried to achieve anything,
00:11:14.700 that's another thing entirely.
00:11:17.380 A healthy society would find few takers for such a life,
00:11:20.780 given that it is so fundamentally despairing
00:11:23.700 and pointless and dull and empty.
00:11:27.160 But that's not the case for us.
00:11:29.140 For many people, this is what they want.
00:11:30.920 It's what they desire.
00:11:32.520 Which is to say, they desire really nothing.
00:11:36.240 But not an austere, humble nothing,
00:11:39.120 rather an entitled, expensive nothing
00:11:42.020 that they expect you to pay for.
00:11:44.200 And that, I think, is the real sickness.
00:11:48.960 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:11:56.520 You know, I really want to tell you guys about Rock Auto.
00:12:00.120 You know, the thing about Rock Auto,
00:12:01.140 I probably have never mentioned before,
00:12:02.620 is that it makes it so that you do not have to go
00:12:05.680 to the auto parts store,
00:12:06.660 which nobody wants to do that,
00:12:07.600 when it's really hot out, or really at any time.
00:12:10.060 Why do that?
00:12:10.920 Why go through that whole rigmarole,
00:12:12.760 as the kids would say,
00:12:13.760 when you could just stay at your house,
00:12:15.280 or be wherever you're going to be,
00:12:16.460 and pull out your phone,
00:12:17.380 go to rockauto.com.
00:12:18.980 Always offers the lowest prices possible.
00:12:20.940 They're not going to change the prices.
00:12:23.160 They're also, you know,
00:12:24.220 this is about giving you the lowest possible price,
00:12:26.500 which means that when you go to rockauto.com,
00:12:29.360 you know that you don't have to shop anywhere else.
00:12:31.900 That's the best price you're going to get.
00:12:33.720 And they're a family business.
00:12:34.720 They've been doing this online for 20 years.
00:12:36.920 You can go to rockauto.com to shop for auto and body parts
00:12:38.900 from hundreds of manufacturers.
00:12:40.660 The catalog is unique,
00:12:42.300 very easy to navigate.
00:12:43.580 You can quickly see all the parts that are available
00:12:45.420 for your car or truck.
00:12:46.880 You can also choose the brand specifications
00:12:48.860 and prices you prefer,
00:12:50.060 which makes it a lot easier as well
00:12:51.400 to browse through Rock Auto and find what you want
00:12:53.180 than going and walking aimlessly around.
00:12:55.920 So go to rockauto.com right now
00:12:57.860 and see all the parts available for your car or truck
00:12:59.620 and write Walsh in there,
00:13:00.520 how did you hear about us box,
00:13:01.740 so they know that we sent you.
00:13:02.660 You know, one of my favorite things about little kids
00:13:06.860 is the way that they question things.
00:13:09.160 Well, that could be my favorite thing
00:13:10.140 and also my least favorite thing.
00:13:11.100 It depends on the questions they're asking
00:13:12.420 and how many times they ask the same question
00:13:14.900 and the context and everything.
00:13:16.720 But the good thing with kids
00:13:18.540 is their minds are always working
00:13:20.200 and they're trying to figure stuff out.
00:13:22.160 And you never know what exactly is going on up there
00:13:25.180 until they open their mouths,
00:13:26.320 as my four-year-old did last night
00:13:28.520 while he was sitting on the couch.
00:13:29.640 And he turned to me and he asked,
00:13:33.100 pointing to his older brother,
00:13:34.420 he said,
00:13:34.720 Daddy, if me and Luke switched heads,
00:13:38.000 what would happen?
00:13:40.000 And I said,
00:13:41.220 well, I mean, you die first of all,
00:13:43.620 so don't, that's the first thing.
00:13:45.140 And you'd probably make a heck of a mess in the process.
00:13:47.140 So, and he kind of goes silent
00:13:48.980 and he thinks about it.
00:13:50.200 And then I start thinking about it too.
00:13:53.100 And now my wheels are turning.
00:13:57.140 And then I asked him,
00:13:58.140 I said, well, okay,
00:13:59.840 what if you did switch heads with him?
00:14:02.680 Would you now have Luke's body or Luke's head?
00:14:06.460 Like, would giving your head to Luke
00:14:08.720 mean that you go with your head?
00:14:11.640 Or would it be more accurate to say
00:14:12.880 that you remain with your body
00:14:14.360 and now you just have Luke's head?
00:14:15.740 You see what I'm saying?
00:14:17.940 Very philosophical question.
00:14:19.220 And he processed it for a while
00:14:23.200 and eventually we both agreed
00:14:25.220 that he would probably travel with his head.
00:14:27.480 But it's an interesting question.
00:14:29.340 And then later on,
00:14:29.900 when I was putting him to bed
00:14:30.740 and we're still talking about this question
00:14:32.220 of removing heads and everything,
00:14:33.820 great thing to talk about at bedtime.
00:14:36.020 And things are finally clicking
00:14:37.580 and he goes,
00:14:38.280 wait a second, Daddy.
00:14:39.060 So I'm in my head?
00:14:41.300 I'm in my bones in my head?
00:14:42.700 And he starts knocking on his head
00:14:43.680 like he's knocking on the front door
00:14:44.660 trying to communicate with himself?
00:14:46.980 And then we started talking
00:14:48.240 about the mind-body problem
00:14:49.580 and neurology and the soul.
00:14:51.360 And it was all very metaphysical after a while.
00:14:54.080 I say we were talking about that,
00:14:55.140 but it was like I was talking
00:14:55.980 and he was just sitting there
00:14:56.760 not understanding anything I was saying.
00:14:58.000 But I did make sure to emphasize,
00:15:00.040 putting all that aside,
00:15:01.420 don't actually try to do this.
00:15:03.520 Please do not try to take your head off.
00:15:05.440 That's all.
00:15:06.200 That should be the main point here.
00:15:08.700 All right.
00:15:10.280 Before we get into the big stories,
00:15:12.160 I do want to show you this quickly
00:15:13.420 at the top here.
00:15:14.360 Now that Cuomo has resigned,
00:15:16.440 the people of New York are speaking out.
00:15:20.160 And I thought that,
00:15:21.100 I saw this being passed around on social media.
00:15:22.400 I thought this was interesting.
00:15:23.200 Here's a clip of just some average citizens
00:15:24.680 in New York sharing their thoughts
00:15:26.820 about the news.
00:15:28.280 And I thought they raise a number of good points
00:15:30.460 and they do so really eloquently.
00:15:31.860 And so let's check that out.
00:15:34.800 That Cuomo n***a
00:15:36.040 said we couldn't be outside last year.
00:15:38.420 Where we at?
00:15:39.400 Outside!
00:15:41.260 What is your message to Cuomo right now?
00:15:42.920 Rot in hell, you son of a b***h!
00:15:44.920 Cuomo, you put pineapple on your pizza
00:15:46.700 and you get no b***h!
00:15:49.000 You're next, De Blasio.
00:15:50.020 You're f***ing next.
00:15:51.100 You're next.
00:15:51.640 We on your a**, boy.
00:15:52.880 We on your a**, boy.
00:15:54.080 If she say no,
00:15:55.700 you gotta go!
00:15:58.720 The Italians don't claim that kid Cuomo.
00:16:00.760 We don't f*** with him.
00:16:01.760 We don't f*** with that kid Cuomo.
00:16:03.380 Get the f*** out of here.
00:16:04.220 We got Trump
00:16:05.160 in the f***ing silky
00:16:06.900 on Union Square.
00:16:08.320 Cuomo,
00:16:09.000 don't forget to get away with the s***.
00:16:10.340 When I see you,
00:16:11.280 I'm gonna grab you by your f***ing neck.
00:16:12.980 We're replacing Cuomo with
00:16:14.720 Bobby Schmurder!
00:16:18.860 Bobby for governor!
00:16:21.100 Bobby for governor!
00:16:22.420 Come on, get no f***y!
00:16:24.000 Come on, get no f***y!
00:16:25.400 Come on, get no f***y!
00:16:26.920 Come on, get no f***y!
00:16:28.200 They make a good point.
00:16:33.700 They really do.
00:16:37.460 That, apparently,
00:16:39.660 Cuomo is not popular in New York.
00:16:43.320 I guess we can summarize it that way.
00:16:45.900 All right, let's,
00:16:47.060 I don't think we need to analyze that
00:16:48.280 any more than we already have.
00:16:49.340 Here's a report from WSB in Atlanta
00:16:51.700 about actual racial segregation
00:16:53.940 in a public school in the city.
00:16:55.460 This is the local news report.
00:16:57.100 It's a little bit long.
00:16:57.920 It's a couple minutes,
00:16:58.800 but I think it's worth watching.
00:17:00.140 Also, when we play long clips,
00:17:01.220 it gives me a chance to drink coffee.
00:17:02.260 That's the real reason we do this.
00:17:03.500 But, let's watch this.
00:17:04.900 Go ahead.
00:17:06.080 We've lost sleep
00:17:07.320 trying to figure out,
00:17:08.880 like, why would a person do this?
00:17:10.980 Kyla Posey says she was stunned
00:17:13.420 when she learned about classes
00:17:15.220 segregated by race
00:17:16.600 at Maryland Elementary last year,
00:17:18.940 a practice she says was put in place
00:17:20.800 and condoned by Principal Sharon Briscoe.
00:17:23.540 First, it was just disbelief
00:17:27.220 that I was having this conversation
00:17:28.680 in 2020 with a person
00:17:31.060 that looks just like me,
00:17:32.180 a black woman.
00:17:33.060 It's segregating classrooms.
00:17:34.960 You cannot segregate classrooms.
00:17:37.100 It's, you can't do it.
00:17:39.140 Posey says she found out
00:17:40.620 the school was putting black students
00:17:42.260 in two separate classes
00:17:43.520 with two separate teachers.
00:17:45.820 The white kids were placed
00:17:47.280 in six classes
00:17:48.380 with six different teachers.
00:17:50.500 The parent says she found this out
00:17:52.320 when she let Briscoe know
00:17:53.720 she wanted her child placed
00:17:55.420 in the classroom of a teacher
00:17:56.900 she thought would be a good fit.
00:17:59.540 Posey says the principal said
00:18:01.020 that wouldn't work.
00:18:02.240 She said that that's not
00:18:04.320 one of the black classes
00:18:05.300 and I immediately said,
00:18:06.820 what does that mean?
00:18:09.080 I was confused.
00:18:11.200 I asked for more clarification.
00:18:13.120 I was like,
00:18:14.300 we have those in the school?
00:18:15.680 And she proceeded to say that,
00:18:19.100 yes, I have decided
00:18:20.520 that I'm going to place
00:18:22.600 all of the black students
00:18:24.720 in two classes.
00:18:26.460 Posey says she insisted
00:18:28.020 her child be placed
00:18:29.140 in a class with white students.
00:18:31.360 She says Briscoe explained
00:18:32.840 her child would be isolated.
00:18:34.840 And I explained to her
00:18:35.920 she shouldn't be isolated
00:18:37.120 or punished
00:18:38.000 because I'm unwilling
00:18:39.820 to go along with your illegal
00:18:42.380 and unethical practice.
00:18:43.940 The Poseys recorded a call
00:18:46.060 with an assistant principal
00:18:47.660 where they complained
00:18:48.780 about the segregated classes.
00:18:50.620 The administrator confirmed
00:18:51.920 it was the principal's decision
00:18:53.720 and seemed to offer
00:18:54.900 an explanation
00:18:55.840 why the classes
00:18:56.660 were set up this way.
00:18:57.880 We had more black kids too
00:19:00.020 and then some of them
00:19:01.880 are in a class
00:19:02.880 because of the services
00:19:04.100 that they need.
00:19:08.640 We'd like to say
00:19:09.580 that this is shocking.
00:19:10.780 Actual racial segregation
00:19:12.080 in the classroom.
00:19:12.740 It's about the most illegal
00:19:13.720 thing.
00:19:14.680 One of those fundamentally
00:19:16.140 illegal things
00:19:17.100 a school could possibly do
00:19:18.600 is to racially segregate
00:19:21.120 their classrooms
00:19:21.760 and actually call them.
00:19:23.820 There was no attempt
00:19:24.520 to hide it.
00:19:25.120 It wasn't like they came up
00:19:26.320 with different labels
00:19:27.000 for this and oh
00:19:27.920 it just so happens
00:19:28.680 that it worked out
00:19:30.540 racially in this way.
00:19:31.380 No, it's like
00:19:31.740 that's our black class
00:19:32.780 and this is our white class, right?
00:19:36.020 We'd like to call
00:19:36.940 that shocking.
00:19:37.720 I don't think we really can.
00:19:38.600 I mean we have gone
00:19:39.640 full circle
00:19:41.160 and we're back
00:19:43.780 to this now.
00:19:46.020 Racial segregation
00:19:47.120 sort of approached
00:19:47.940 from the opposite direction
00:19:49.300 now though.
00:19:53.640 Where now it's a matter
00:19:55.220 of we're going to segregate
00:19:56.340 because we're trying
00:19:56.820 to get the white kids away.
00:19:59.460 Racial segregation
00:20:00.420 in the Jim Crow era
00:20:01.700 was the other way.
00:20:03.140 We don't want
00:20:03.880 the white people
00:20:05.320 to have to deal
00:20:05.780 with the black people
00:20:06.360 so we're going to put them
00:20:07.140 over there.
00:20:08.460 Now it's just that
00:20:09.320 in the reverse.
00:20:11.540 And I say reverse
00:20:12.400 which isn't to say
00:20:13.000 that it's reverse racism
00:20:14.040 because of course
00:20:14.600 there's only one kind
00:20:15.240 of racism.
00:20:15.920 If you're a person
00:20:17.360 and you think
00:20:19.180 that people of another race
00:20:20.000 are inferior
00:20:20.860 then that makes you racist
00:20:23.120 no matter what race you are.
00:20:25.180 But this is the reverse
00:20:26.280 approach to racial segregation
00:20:27.660 reversed from what it was
00:20:28.600 you know 100 years ago.
00:20:32.740 And so that's not a surprise.
00:20:34.780 This is the direction
00:20:35.300 we've been headed.
00:20:37.140 They've been doing
00:20:37.560 this kind of thing
00:20:38.080 in universities
00:20:39.020 and colleges
00:20:39.980 for a while now.
00:20:42.560 Maybe not that explicit
00:20:44.680 like we're going to have
00:20:45.360 a white class
00:20:45.800 and a black class
00:20:46.460 but we're going to have
00:20:48.120 a black only space
00:20:49.760 where black people
00:20:51.380 can get together
00:20:52.000 or people of color
00:20:53.140 BIPOC can all get together
00:20:54.880 and we don't want
00:20:55.320 white people
00:20:55.640 intruding on that space.
00:20:56.420 We've been doing stuff
00:20:56.900 like that in colleges
00:20:57.520 for a while now.
00:20:59.080 So this is where it's headed.
00:21:00.240 If there's anything
00:21:01.280 sort of surprising here
00:21:02.340 it's that the principal
00:21:06.820 again made no attempt
00:21:09.420 to hide it
00:21:10.060 and so she assumed
00:21:11.900 that everybody was okay
00:21:12.780 with it.
00:21:14.700 The mother talking
00:21:15.760 to the principal
00:21:16.380 and the principal says
00:21:17.240 oh yeah it's our black class
00:21:18.280 and the mother has to say
00:21:20.420 what?
00:21:21.880 The what now?
00:21:23.940 Our black class
00:21:24.580 what's the problem
00:21:24.920 with that?
00:21:25.240 And based on this report
00:21:28.380 now maybe there were
00:21:29.120 other parents
00:21:29.680 who were upset
00:21:30.240 but if there were
00:21:32.340 they seem to be
00:21:33.640 in the minority.
00:21:36.500 It's mainly this mother
00:21:37.820 who's objecting
00:21:38.660 which means either
00:21:40.780 the other parents
00:21:43.260 didn't care
00:21:43.900 and were on board with it
00:21:44.760 or they never heard about it.
00:21:47.480 I don't know
00:21:48.060 which would be more disturbing
00:21:49.200 or it could be
00:21:50.180 some combination of the two.
00:21:53.160 That tells you something
00:21:54.020 about public school.
00:21:55.560 That's why I'm always harping on
00:21:56.660 you send your kid
00:21:57.680 into a government building
00:21:58.520 for seven, eight hours a day
00:21:59.680 you're not going to know
00:22:01.780 everything that
00:22:02.420 you're not going to know
00:22:03.140 almost anything that happens.
00:22:04.440 You're only going to know
00:22:05.340 what your kid tells you
00:22:06.560 and especially when they're younger
00:22:08.040 they're not going to tell you
00:22:09.000 a whole hell of a lot.
00:22:11.480 I get home from school
00:22:12.660 and I get home from work
00:22:14.480 and I sit down with my kids
00:22:16.140 and I always ask them
00:22:16.980 what'd you do today?
00:22:18.520 How'd it go?
00:22:19.080 Like I want to hear about their day
00:22:20.240 and they never have
00:22:22.760 a whole lot to say.
00:22:23.640 Like they'll home in
00:22:24.700 on one little detail
00:22:25.860 like yesterday
00:22:28.200 I came home
00:22:28.660 I asked them
00:22:29.100 how'd it go today
00:22:29.960 and the only thing
00:22:31.540 they told me
00:22:31.860 they were very excited
00:22:32.440 to tell me
00:22:32.760 but the only thing
00:22:33.420 they told me about
00:22:34.020 was that they found
00:22:35.300 a deer skull
00:22:36.840 in a creek
00:22:38.500 near our house
00:22:39.160 which is very exciting
00:22:40.440 for kids.
00:22:40.980 I don't blame them
00:22:41.820 but that's the only event
00:22:42.740 from the day
00:22:43.180 and everything was about
00:22:44.120 the deer skull.
00:22:46.080 For a kid
00:22:46.580 that's the only thing
00:22:47.140 that matters, right?
00:22:47.760 So when I hear
00:22:50.600 from parents
00:22:51.140 and they say
00:22:52.080 oh, you know
00:22:52.980 as long as you're
00:22:53.860 in a conversation
00:22:55.580 with your kids
00:22:56.540 and you have
00:22:56.880 an open line of dialogue
00:22:57.960 you don't have to worry
00:22:58.660 about it
00:22:58.960 because they're going
00:22:59.340 to tell you
00:22:59.800 what's going on
00:23:00.440 and no, they're not.
00:23:03.140 When they're very young
00:23:04.200 they're not going to
00:23:05.060 the things that you know
00:23:06.800 are important
00:23:07.420 and that you'd like
00:23:08.180 to hear about
00:23:08.600 they don't know
00:23:09.100 that that's important.
00:23:11.020 I think the kids
00:23:11.540 who are racially segregated
00:23:12.600 they don't understand
00:23:13.800 they don't know
00:23:14.280 the history of this
00:23:15.220 of racial segregation
00:23:16.780 in the school
00:23:17.400 they don't see
00:23:17.780 a problem with it
00:23:18.460 they might not even
00:23:19.400 told their parents.
00:23:22.820 So the things
00:23:23.460 that you know
00:23:23.940 are important
00:23:24.440 your kids don't know that
00:23:25.320 so they might not tell you.
00:23:28.620 And then as kids
00:23:29.560 get a little bit older
00:23:30.280 and even if they do know
00:23:31.520 that something's important
00:23:32.200 they might not want
00:23:32.880 to tell you
00:23:33.380 because they don't want
00:23:34.880 you causing a stink
00:23:35.780 about it
00:23:36.260 and all these other things.
00:23:38.140 And also they're
00:23:38.860 being conditioned
00:23:39.520 by the school
00:23:40.340 to think that
00:23:41.160 these things are okay.
00:23:45.220 So you can't rely on that.
00:23:47.400 Another argument for
00:23:48.360 well it's an argument
00:23:48.920 for homeschooling
00:23:49.440 as always
00:23:49.800 also an argument
00:23:50.360 for cameras
00:23:52.960 in the classroom
00:23:53.520 so that you could
00:23:56.400 actually see that happening
00:23:57.380 when they segregate
00:23:58.600 the classrooms
00:23:59.420 by race.
00:24:01.720 As we come
00:24:02.500 full circle
00:24:03.280 back to racial segregation
00:24:04.380 this is
00:24:05.820 a tool
00:24:08.000 you know
00:24:09.900 race
00:24:10.420 any kind of
00:24:13.360 tribalism
00:24:14.900 is a tool
00:24:18.020 for those in power
00:24:18.960 a very effective tool
00:24:21.320 as we've seen
00:24:21.840 to manipulate
00:24:23.540 and exploit
00:24:24.220 and control people
00:24:25.420 and
00:24:28.140 it has proven
00:24:30.280 this tool
00:24:31.460 has proven
00:24:32.040 far too alluring
00:24:33.280 to those who are
00:24:34.780 in power now
00:24:35.440 from the federal government
00:24:37.160 all the way down
00:24:37.540 to the school systems
00:24:38.180 it's far too alluring
00:24:40.800 so they're exploiting it
00:24:42.900 there was
00:24:45.660 there was a
00:24:46.420 what we now have to call
00:24:48.520 unfortunately
00:24:48.980 a brief moment
00:24:49.860 in time
00:24:50.440 in history
00:24:52.120 that I can remember
00:24:53.780 going back to when
00:24:54.980 I was in school
00:24:56.200 in the 90s
00:24:57.220 where we had
00:24:59.240 something like
00:25:00.380 racial harmony
00:25:01.380 it wasn't
00:25:02.100 perfect
00:25:02.720 nothing is ever
00:25:04.700 going to be perfect
00:25:05.340 in a human society
00:25:06.140 but it was
00:25:06.800 as perfect
00:25:08.600 as you could hope
00:25:09.200 for it to be
00:25:09.660 probably
00:25:10.020 and
00:25:12.900 where race
00:25:13.820 was
00:25:14.040 not something
00:25:15.740 that I remember
00:25:16.620 talking about
00:25:17.180 or focusing on
00:25:17.860 as a kid
00:25:18.380 we didn't talk
00:25:19.160 about it much
00:25:19.520 in school
00:25:19.900 we were all kids
00:25:21.240 going to school
00:25:21.800 didn't really
00:25:22.260 think much about it
00:25:23.000 you notice the differences
00:25:24.140 you don't think about it
00:25:25.360 you don't dwell on it
00:25:26.160 you don't see anything
00:25:28.300 particularly significant
00:25:29.440 about it
00:25:30.040 and that was
00:25:32.740 the state of affairs
00:25:33.480 for
00:25:33.880 you know
00:25:34.500 a couple decades
00:25:35.040 maybe
00:25:35.340 until the powers
00:25:38.320 that be
00:25:38.680 said
00:25:39.100 no
00:25:39.420 this is a tool
00:25:40.140 that is
00:25:40.520 way too useful
00:25:42.220 and now we're
00:25:46.100 going back
00:25:46.540 to how it was
00:25:47.120 before
00:25:47.400 okay
00:25:48.340 next we have
00:25:49.020 Larry Elder
00:25:49.640 who's a well-known
00:25:50.320 conservative talk show
00:25:51.120 host and author
00:25:52.100 and commentator
00:25:52.700 he's running for
00:25:53.240 governor in
00:25:53.960 California
00:25:54.480 I like
00:25:55.060 Larry Elder
00:25:55.720 I should tell you
00:25:56.640 I admire
00:25:57.380 Larry Elder
00:25:58.400 and I was excited
00:26:01.940 to hear that he was
00:26:02.720 running for governor
00:26:03.280 much better option
00:26:06.260 than Caitlyn Jenner
00:26:07.260 which
00:26:07.540 isn't saying much
00:26:09.140 admittedly
00:26:09.540 but still
00:26:09.960 and I was happy
00:26:13.040 about that
00:26:13.460 but I am not
00:26:14.940 happy about this
00:26:15.600 and I do not
00:26:16.220 like or admire this
00:26:17.020 here's his answer
00:26:18.080 when he's asked
00:26:18.800 by someone
00:26:19.520 about the
00:26:20.820 trans bathroom
00:26:21.620 issue
00:26:21.960 and here's
00:26:22.860 what he says
00:26:23.200 so let me
00:26:25.100 just make this
00:26:25.680 personal for a
00:26:26.320 second
00:26:26.540 my sister
00:26:27.060 is transgender
00:26:27.820 she's lived
00:26:28.580 her life as a
00:26:29.200 woman for
00:26:29.860 many years
00:26:30.800 now
00:26:31.100 so would
00:26:32.020 you not
00:26:32.400 allow her
00:26:32.900 to use
00:26:33.540 the woman's
00:26:34.580 restroom
00:26:35.040 if she
00:26:37.180 is a
00:26:38.040 estimated
00:26:38.900 transition
00:26:40.100 from being
00:26:40.720 a male
00:26:41.020 to a female
00:26:41.680 a transition
00:26:43.440 that has
00:26:44.800 been done
00:26:45.500 by
00:26:45.900 whatever
00:26:47.300 medical
00:26:47.840 intervention
00:26:49.740 there is
00:26:50.300 I see no
00:26:51.160 reason why
00:26:51.600 she ought not
00:26:52.100 be able to
00:26:52.500 use whatever
00:26:53.100 bathroom
00:26:53.640 she identifies
00:26:54.380 as
00:26:54.780 well as long
00:26:56.340 as they've
00:26:56.760 medically
00:26:57.500 transitioned
00:26:58.140 then of
00:26:59.340 course
00:26:59.620 now you
00:27:01.460 could say
00:27:01.880 he's running
00:27:02.240 for governor
00:27:02.820 of California
00:27:03.520 he's got to
00:27:04.420 play the game
00:27:04.880 a little bit
00:27:05.440 he's got to
00:27:05.900 toe the line
00:27:06.320 but I don't
00:27:09.080 buy that
00:27:09.540 also
00:27:11.140 trying to
00:27:12.040 draw a line
00:27:12.760 here doesn't
00:27:13.200 make any
00:27:13.520 sense at all
00:27:13.980 like
00:27:16.000 either
00:27:16.760 this is
00:27:17.820 determined
00:27:18.440 biologically
00:27:19.200 or it's not
00:27:20.080 either we're
00:27:21.960 determining
00:27:22.440 men and women
00:27:23.680 biologically
00:27:24.240 or we aren't
00:27:25.200 and if you're
00:27:26.760 going to say
00:27:27.120 well if you
00:27:27.760 get the surgery
00:27:28.320 then you're
00:27:28.740 a woman
00:27:29.040 well that
00:27:30.720 means that
00:27:31.020 biology has
00:27:31.660 nothing to
00:27:31.940 do with
00:27:32.160 it
00:27:32.240 why even
00:27:32.800 get the
00:27:33.080 surgery
00:27:33.480 who cares
00:27:34.780 if you
00:27:34.980 have it
00:27:35.380 what does
00:27:36.680 the surgery
00:27:37.200 mean
00:27:37.580 okay not
00:27:38.800 to get too
00:27:39.100 graphic but
00:27:39.560 in the
00:27:39.800 surgery
00:27:40.200 if when a
00:27:41.680 man quote
00:27:42.560 unquote becomes
00:27:43.220 a woman or
00:27:43.840 in the in
00:27:44.660 the parlance
00:27:45.080 now is
00:27:45.500 is affirmed
00:27:46.900 as a woman
00:27:47.500 what they are
00:27:49.440 doing is
00:27:50.120 they are
00:27:50.680 mutilating
00:27:52.440 his male
00:27:53.400 genitals
00:27:54.000 to form
00:27:55.660 the
00:27:56.160 visual
00:27:57.680 approximation
00:27:58.380 of
00:28:00.960 of what
00:28:02.600 a
00:28:02.760 what
00:28:03.500 what
00:28:03.780 the
00:28:04.100 female
00:28:04.740 genitals
00:28:05.360 look like
00:28:05.800 that's it
00:28:07.960 that doesn't
00:28:11.120 make you a
00:28:11.720 woman it
00:28:12.100 doesn't make
00:28:12.420 you any
00:28:12.700 closer to
00:28:13.280 a woman
00:28:13.700 okay does
00:28:16.100 not does
00:28:16.500 not bridge
00:28:17.080 that gap
00:28:17.720 even a
00:28:18.200 little bit
00:28:18.640 you have
00:28:18.920 not you
00:28:19.300 have not
00:28:19.600 built
00:28:19.960 even you
00:28:21.980 know any
00:28:23.280 part of the
00:28:23.760 bridge because
00:28:24.160 you can't
00:28:25.160 the chasm
00:28:27.460 there is a
00:28:27.980 chasm between
00:28:28.840 man and
00:28:29.520 woman and
00:28:30.100 it is
00:28:30.380 impossible to
00:28:31.240 cross over
00:28:31.780 it you
00:28:32.140 can't
00:28:32.560 you can
00:28:33.940 stay on
00:28:34.380 your part
00:28:34.740 of the
00:28:34.900 chasm
00:28:35.240 kind of
00:28:36.100 looking over
00:28:36.540 to the
00:28:36.740 people on
00:28:37.120 the other
00:28:37.620 side and
00:28:38.800 try to
00:28:39.040 make yourself
00:28:39.720 outwardly look
00:28:40.900 like them but
00:28:41.680 you're still on
00:28:42.260 that side and
00:28:42.940 you'll never
00:28:43.240 get to the
00:28:43.580 other
00:28:43.740 that's what I
00:28:46.420 would say
00:28:46.840 anyway as
00:28:47.340 someone who
00:28:47.640 believes in
00:28:48.100 science and
00:28:48.720 truth either
00:28:49.820 that either
00:28:50.740 what I'm
00:28:51.160 saying is
00:28:51.560 correct or
00:28:52.240 not and
00:28:54.000 if it's
00:28:54.280 not who
00:28:54.580 cares about
00:28:54.920 the surgery
00:28:55.440 which is
00:28:56.700 why we're
00:28:57.180 seeing the
00:28:59.340 the other
00:28:59.900 side of this
00:29:00.420 equation the
00:29:01.020 trans activists
00:29:01.620 that's the
00:29:02.100 direction this
00:29:02.540 is going
00:29:02.920 where they
00:29:04.240 are deemphasizing
00:29:05.360 surgery more
00:29:06.080 and more not
00:29:06.500 to say you
00:29:06.860 shouldn't get
00:29:07.220 it go ahead
00:29:07.540 and get it
00:29:07.800 if you want
00:29:08.300 but it
00:29:08.580 doesn't matter
00:29:09.000 if you do
00:29:09.440 like we
00:29:11.520 used to
00:29:11.780 define this
00:29:12.440 it used to
00:29:13.040 be you
00:29:13.760 were a
00:29:14.180 pre-op
00:29:14.820 transsexual
00:29:17.000 or post-op
00:29:17.800 and if you
00:29:18.880 hadn't had the
00:29:19.400 surgery yet
00:29:20.000 then you're
00:29:20.280 pre-op
00:29:20.720 it would
00:29:22.040 just kind
00:29:22.300 of assume
00:29:22.680 that that's
00:29:23.160 that's
00:29:23.560 that's what
00:29:24.180 you're going
00:29:24.420 to do
00:29:24.700 that's part
00:29:25.880 of being
00:29:26.420 of having
00:29:28.780 that identity
00:29:29.400 now it's
00:29:30.800 who cares
00:29:31.320 you can
00:29:33.760 maintain all
00:29:34.600 of the normal
00:29:35.340 physical features
00:29:35.920 of man
00:29:36.240 you can keep
00:29:36.640 dressing like a
00:29:37.240 man you can
00:29:37.720 look like a
00:29:38.160 man sounding
00:29:38.540 but it doesn't
00:29:38.780 matter but
00:29:39.200 you'd still
00:29:39.500 be a woman
00:29:39.840 so this
00:29:43.040 line in the
00:29:43.600 sand he's
00:29:44.220 trying to draw
00:29:44.640 here is just
00:29:45.300 that it's a
00:29:45.680 line in the
00:29:46.040 sand it can
00:29:46.400 easily be
00:29:46.820 erased
00:29:47.160 there's nothing
00:29:48.380 firm or
00:29:49.340 solid here
00:29:50.260 and he's
00:29:53.360 also using
00:29:54.060 the preferred
00:29:54.580 pronoun saying
00:29:55.440 she and
00:29:55.940 her in
00:29:56.520 referring to
00:29:56.980 a male
00:29:57.260 if that is
00:30:01.580 what is
00:30:01.900 required
00:30:02.500 to be the
00:30:04.920 governor of
00:30:05.340 California
00:30:05.840 then it's
00:30:06.840 not worth
00:30:07.380 being the
00:30:07.800 governor of
00:30:08.180 California
00:30:08.640 if in
00:30:11.540 order to
00:30:11.880 get a
00:30:12.080 Republican
00:30:12.520 in as
00:30:13.300 the governor
00:30:13.620 of California
00:30:14.260 we need
00:30:15.560 to adopt
00:30:16.260 the left's
00:30:17.960 the left's
00:30:21.240 view of
00:30:21.940 sex
00:30:22.540 and biology
00:30:24.740 then we
00:30:25.680 then it's
00:30:26.260 not worth
00:30:26.980 it
00:30:27.240 what we
00:30:28.820 have to
00:30:29.260 give up
00:30:29.780 it's not
00:30:30.800 proportional
00:30:31.260 so we
00:30:33.440 give up
00:30:34.020 our grasp
00:30:35.140 of reality
00:30:35.760 and we say
00:30:36.580 to them
00:30:36.880 okay you're
00:30:37.340 right about
00:30:37.840 this really
00:30:38.680 fundamental
00:30:39.060 issue
00:30:39.520 and as
00:30:41.460 the reward
00:30:42.100 we get
00:30:42.640 to have a
00:30:43.400 Republican
00:30:43.800 governor of
00:30:44.660 California
00:30:45.200 for a few
00:30:45.760 years
00:30:46.100 how does
00:30:47.580 that work
00:30:48.180 I mean
00:30:49.020 long term
00:30:49.780 what's the
00:30:52.160 long term
00:30:52.520 benefit of
00:30:53.080 that how
00:30:53.320 does that
00:30:53.580 trade work
00:30:54.260 I'll tell you
00:30:55.900 something the
00:30:56.220 left will
00:30:56.580 they'll take
00:30:56.960 that trade
00:30:57.340 all day
00:30:57.740 they'll still
00:30:59.960 oppose any
00:31:00.680 Republican
00:31:01.200 runs for
00:31:01.820 governor but
00:31:02.960 they'll take
00:31:03.320 that trade
00:31:03.740 sure you're
00:31:05.200 going to
00:31:05.380 give us
00:31:05.660 the truth
00:31:07.680 you're going
00:31:08.340 to give
00:31:08.560 up truth
00:31:09.120 for us
00:31:09.660 and you
00:31:10.980 get to
00:31:11.120 have a
00:31:11.320 Republican
00:31:11.620 governor of
00:31:12.080 California
00:31:12.440 for a few
00:31:13.060 years
00:31:13.260 until they're
00:31:13.800 replaced by
00:31:14.220 a Democrat
00:31:14.500 which eventually
00:31:14.960 they will
00:31:15.280 be
00:31:15.580 a Republican
00:31:18.600 governor of
00:31:19.060 California
00:31:19.280 by the way
00:31:19.580 who can't
00:31:20.040 really do
00:31:20.480 anything
00:31:20.940 because no
00:31:21.920 one else
00:31:22.180 is on his
00:31:22.580 side
00:31:22.860 he is still
00:31:23.680 overseeing
00:31:24.420 a state
00:31:26.020 that has
00:31:26.500 gone completely
00:31:27.280 insane
00:31:27.700 and his
00:31:29.380 ability to
00:31:30.380 hold back
00:31:31.600 the tide
00:31:32.080 of insanity
00:31:32.580 is very
00:31:33.480 very limited
00:31:34.080 and even if
00:31:34.720 he can do
00:31:35.060 it he is
00:31:35.320 only holding
00:31:36.120 back the
00:31:36.520 tide he's
00:31:36.860 not stopping
00:31:37.440 it or reversing
00:31:38.000 it he can't
00:31:38.620 do that
00:31:39.100 it's not
00:31:42.080 worth the
00:31:42.380 trade
00:31:42.580 and I've
00:31:45.440 gotten to a
00:31:45.880 point now
00:31:46.160 like I said
00:31:46.520 I like Larry
00:31:47.040 Elder
00:31:47.280 admire him
00:31:48.320 but I
00:31:48.980 this is
00:31:53.940 not
00:31:54.520 tolerable
00:31:55.780 as a
00:31:57.840 conservative
00:31:58.220 you need
00:31:58.820 to hold
00:31:59.180 the line
00:31:59.600 on this
00:32:00.080 or what
00:32:00.580 use
00:32:01.020 are you
00:32:01.520 to us
00:32:01.960 if you're
00:32:02.460 going to
00:32:02.600 give this
00:32:02.980 up
00:32:03.220 but every
00:32:06.800 day it's
00:32:07.080 another
00:32:07.260 person
00:32:07.660 it really
00:32:09.700 feels like
00:32:10.560 invasion of
00:32:11.000 the body
00:32:11.280 snatchers
00:32:11.700 in more
00:32:12.240 ways than
00:32:12.600 one
00:32:12.840 you wake
00:32:15.080 up and
00:32:15.420 another
00:32:15.700 person
00:32:16.200 who you
00:32:16.620 have
00:32:16.960 known
00:32:17.600 or at
00:32:17.900 least
00:32:18.020 known
00:32:18.280 of
00:32:18.560 you
00:32:18.700 thought
00:32:18.960 you
00:32:19.100 knew
00:32:19.300 you
00:32:19.700 thought
00:32:19.840 you
00:32:19.960 knew
00:32:20.060 what
00:32:20.340 they
00:32:20.460 were
00:32:20.580 about
00:32:20.800 you
00:32:20.940 look
00:32:21.120 at
00:32:21.240 them
00:32:21.460 and
00:32:21.680 they've
00:32:21.900 got
00:32:22.040 this
00:32:22.200 look
00:32:22.400 in
00:32:22.500 their
00:32:22.620 eyes
00:32:22.840 and
00:32:22.920 you're
00:32:23.040 like
00:32:23.160 what
00:32:23.360 happened
00:32:23.660 to
00:32:23.800 you
00:32:23.960 we
00:32:24.700 lost
00:32:24.960 you
00:32:25.160 too
00:32:25.400 what
00:32:26.480 is
00:32:26.620 going
00:32:26.900 on
00:32:27.260 every
00:32:28.380 day
00:32:28.700 it's
00:32:28.880 another
00:32:29.240 what
00:32:30.160 was
00:32:30.360 once
00:32:30.760 a
00:32:31.020 firm
00:32:31.580 and
00:32:31.700 reliable
00:32:32.040 conservative
00:32:32.520 standing
00:32:32.920 up there
00:32:33.380 using
00:32:33.840 preferred
00:32:34.220 pronouns
00:32:34.780 saying
00:32:35.420 she
00:32:35.660 and
00:32:35.820 her
00:32:35.980 in
00:32:36.100 reference
00:32:36.340 to
00:32:36.540 males
00:32:36.880 very
00:32:41.440 sad
00:32:41.640 situation
00:32:42.000 okay
00:32:42.380 I
00:32:43.560 want
00:32:43.720 to
00:32:43.880 here's
00:32:44.680 a
00:32:44.780 clip
00:32:45.000 of
00:32:45.160 a
00:32:45.380 school
00:32:46.740 board
00:32:47.060 member
00:32:47.300 in
00:32:47.440 Oklahoma
00:32:47.940 I
00:32:48.940 want
00:32:49.020 to
00:32:49.100 play
00:32:49.240 this
00:32:49.420 for
00:32:49.600 you
00:32:49.740 because
00:32:50.180 after
00:32:52.060 my
00:32:52.380 experience
00:32:52.740 of
00:32:52.820 the
00:32:52.920 school
00:32:53.080 board
00:32:53.400 here
00:32:53.820 in
00:32:53.940 Nashville
00:32:54.220 yesterday
00:32:54.640 I
00:32:55.940 have
00:32:57.380 realized
00:32:57.760 that
00:32:57.920 what
00:32:58.020 you're
00:32:58.140 about
00:32:58.340 to
00:32:58.520 hear
00:32:58.760 here
00:32:59.240 is
00:32:59.560 not
00:33:00.060 an
00:33:02.080 outlier
00:33:02.580 because
00:33:03.980 this
00:33:04.200 is
00:33:04.320 exactly
00:33:04.860 the
00:33:05.080 kind
00:33:05.300 of
00:33:05.400 thing
00:33:05.580 I
00:33:05.760 heard
00:33:05.980 as
00:33:06.100 I
00:33:06.220 sat
00:33:06.500 there
00:33:06.680 in
00:33:06.760 the
00:33:06.820 school
00:33:06.980 board
00:33:07.220 meeting
00:33:07.500 listening
00:33:08.100 to
00:33:08.300 one
00:33:08.580 pro
00:33:08.940 mask
00:33:09.280 parent
00:33:09.660 after
00:33:09.980 another
00:33:10.260 get
00:33:10.460 up
00:33:10.620 there
00:33:10.820 I
00:33:11.800 heard
00:33:11.980 stuff
00:33:12.340 exactly
00:33:13.000 like
00:33:13.340 this
00:33:13.540 almost
00:33:13.780 verbatum
00:33:14.540 over
00:33:15.080 and
00:33:15.200 over
00:33:15.340 and
00:33:15.460 over
00:33:15.620 again
00:33:15.880 let's
00:33:17.200 take
00:33:17.360 a
00:33:17.440 listen
00:33:17.560 to
00:33:17.660 this
00:33:17.900 I
00:33:18.620 think
00:33:18.800 if
00:33:18.920 anybody
00:33:19.180 is
00:33:19.320 going
00:33:19.420 to
00:33:19.540 flee
00:33:19.820 to
00:33:20.000 virtual
00:33:20.300 school
00:33:20.600 it
00:33:20.720 needs
00:33:20.840 to
00:33:20.920 be
00:33:21.000 the
00:33:21.100 mask
00:33:21.380 less
00:33:21.700 I
00:33:22.260 don't
00:33:22.480 think
00:33:22.700 any
00:33:22.960 parent
00:33:23.300 with
00:33:23.500 an
00:33:24.020 asthmatic
00:33:24.420 6 year
00:33:24.820 old
00:33:24.980 8 year
00:33:25.280 old
00:33:25.460 12 year
00:33:25.920 old
00:33:26.200 should
00:33:27.740 have to
00:33:28.000 make
00:33:28.140 that
00:33:28.340 choice
00:33:28.700 that
00:33:28.900 their
00:33:29.140 child
00:33:29.460 can't
00:33:29.820 go
00:33:29.940 to
00:33:30.080 school
00:33:30.320 because
00:33:30.600 some
00:33:30.880 other
00:33:31.220 kid
00:33:31.460 is
00:33:31.600 going
00:33:31.700 to
00:33:31.800 spread
00:33:32.000 a
00:33:32.160 germ
00:33:32.320 that
00:33:32.460 could
00:33:32.600 kill
00:33:32.800 them
00:33:33.020 just
00:33:34.120 goes
00:33:34.460 all
00:33:34.660 over
00:33:34.840 me
00:33:35.080 I
00:33:36.620 would
00:33:36.740 like
00:33:36.880 to
00:33:36.980 find
00:33:37.160 a
00:33:37.260 way
00:33:37.340 to
00:33:37.460 stand
00:33:37.720 up
00:33:38.000 as
00:33:38.900 a
00:33:39.020 district
00:33:39.380 and
00:33:40.340 get
00:33:40.520 our
00:33:40.680 surrounding
00:33:41.060 superintendents
00:33:41.680 to
00:33:41.820 stand
00:33:42.020 up
00:33:42.160 with
00:33:42.340 us
00:33:42.640 and
00:33:43.080 protect
00:33:43.360 our
00:33:43.640 little
00:33:43.900 kids
00:33:44.420 it's
00:33:45.340 insane
00:33:45.860 to
00:33:47.140 send
00:33:47.380 5
00:33:47.700 and
00:33:47.840 6
00:33:48.120 and
00:33:48.320 7
00:33:48.600 and
00:33:48.780 8
00:33:49.040 all
00:33:49.760 way
00:33:49.900 up
00:33:49.960 through
00:33:50.080 11
00:33:50.400 year
00:33:50.600 olds
00:33:50.820 that
00:33:50.960 don't
00:33:51.160 have
00:33:51.300 a
00:33:51.420 choice
00:33:51.860 about
00:33:52.320 vaccine
00:33:52.840 to
00:33:53.960 sit
00:33:54.120 in
00:33:54.220 a
00:33:54.320 classroom
00:33:54.920 where
00:33:56.300 people
00:33:56.680 can
00:33:56.920 spread
00:33:57.340 a
00:33:57.720 deadly
00:33:58.040 disease
00:33:58.440 and
00:33:58.640 not
00:33:58.840 even
00:33:59.040 know
00:33:59.260 they're
00:33:59.480 sick
00:33:59.900 and
00:34:01.460 not
00:34:01.700 even
00:34:01.880 know
00:34:02.040 that
00:34:02.160 in
00:34:02.260 three
00:34:02.500 days
00:34:02.860 they're
00:34:07.460 disease
00:34:07.920 just
00:34:09.280 makes
00:34:09.500 me
00:34:09.640 furious
00:34:10.020 that
00:34:10.200 we're
00:34:10.300 in
00:34:10.380 this
00:34:10.520 position
00:34:10.920 if
00:34:12.560 I
00:34:12.700 were
00:34:12.800 a
00:34:12.940 parent
00:34:13.260 of
00:34:13.540 a
00:34:13.640 young
00:34:13.800 child
00:34:14.100 I
00:34:14.280 don't
00:34:14.400 know
00:34:14.500 what
00:34:14.620 I
00:34:14.720 would
00:34:14.860 do
00:34:15.160 but
00:34:16.800 I
00:34:16.900 don't
00:34:17.020 think
00:34:17.180 we
00:34:17.300 should
00:34:17.440 put
00:34:17.580 our
00:34:17.700 parents
00:34:17.920 in
00:34:18.040 that
00:34:18.160 position
00:34:18.560 and
00:34:19.560 if
00:34:19.640 there's
00:34:19.800 any
00:34:19.980 way
00:34:20.140 between
00:34:20.420 now
00:34:20.640 and
00:34:20.700 the
00:34:20.780 beginning
00:34:21.000 of
00:34:21.180 school
00:34:21.400 that
00:34:21.560 we
00:34:21.640 can
00:34:21.760 get
00:34:21.900 this
00:34:22.080 changed
00:34:22.520 I
00:34:23.640 hope
00:34:23.820 we
00:34:23.960 can
00:34:24.220 because
00:34:24.900 it's
00:34:25.140 just
00:34:25.480 not
00:34:25.900 okay
00:34:26.360 for
00:34:27.320 kids
00:34:27.560 to
00:34:27.720 commit
00:34:27.960 murder
00:34:28.280 by
00:34:28.480 coming
00:34:28.680 to
00:34:28.880 school
00:34:29.040 without
00:34:29.260 a
00:34:29.460 mask
00:34:29.820 commit
00:34:31.580 murder
00:34:32.840 by
00:34:34.760 coming
00:34:34.980 to
00:34:35.100 school
00:34:35.220 without
00:34:35.400 a
00:34:35.520 mask
00:34:35.740 it
00:34:37.420 would
00:34:37.560 already
00:34:38.160 be
00:34:38.560 irrational
00:34:39.220 and
00:34:39.540 incorrect
00:34:39.880 to
00:34:40.380 say
00:34:40.620 that
00:34:40.920 oh
00:34:41.660 a
00:34:41.820 kid
00:34:41.940 coming
00:34:42.180 to
00:34:42.320 school
00:34:42.560 without
00:34:42.800 a
00:34:42.980 mask
00:34:43.280 poses
00:34:43.720 a
00:34:43.900 potential
00:34:44.280 threat
00:34:45.020 or
00:34:45.200 danger
00:34:45.580 that's
00:34:46.760 already
00:34:47.100 way
00:34:47.900 overboard
00:34:48.300 and not
00:34:48.640 correct
00:34:49.240 for
00:34:51.120 all the
00:34:51.500 reasons
00:34:51.820 that I
00:34:52.200 have
00:34:52.500 given
00:34:52.980 about
00:34:53.320 the
00:34:53.500 reality
00:34:53.840 of
00:34:54.000 COVID
00:34:54.260 and
00:34:54.540 its
00:34:54.680 effect
00:34:54.960 on
00:34:55.140 kids
00:34:55.360 which
00:34:55.480 is
00:34:55.600 very
00:34:55.820 very
00:34:55.980 minimal
00:34:56.220 but
00:34:59.220 now
00:34:59.920 we're
00:35:00.240 saying
00:35:00.520 they
00:35:00.800 are
00:35:01.200 murderers
00:35:02.580 accusing
00:35:03.280 the
00:35:03.560 kids
00:35:03.980 of
00:35:04.180 being
00:35:04.380 murderers
00:35:05.020 for
00:35:05.140 not
00:35:05.320 covering
00:35:05.780 their
00:35:06.020 faces
00:35:06.440 I
00:35:07.680 think
00:35:07.800 that
00:35:07.940 school
00:35:08.100 board
00:35:08.280 member
00:35:08.500 did
00:35:08.720 apologize
00:35:09.200 and
00:35:10.760 try
00:35:11.040 to
00:35:11.240 backtrack
00:35:11.800 a
00:35:11.980 little
00:35:12.140 bit
00:35:12.440 realizing
00:35:13.740 that
00:35:13.940 her
00:35:14.080 phrasing
00:35:14.500 is
00:35:14.860 shocking
00:35:17.200 to
00:35:17.500 any
00:35:17.680 rational
00:35:18.060 person
00:35:18.500 but
00:35:20.220 she
00:35:20.380 said
00:35:20.560 what
00:35:20.680 she
00:35:20.780 said
00:35:20.940 and
00:35:21.020 she
00:35:21.120 believes
00:35:21.440 it
00:35:21.620 and
00:35:23.420 like
00:35:23.660 I
00:35:23.780 said
00:35:23.940 I
00:35:24.100 heard
00:35:24.960 almost
00:35:25.420 this
00:35:25.720 verbatum
00:35:26.220 no
00:35:26.440 one
00:35:26.560 used
00:35:26.740 the
00:35:26.840 word
00:35:26.980 murder
00:35:27.380 in

00:35:27.740 to
00:35:27.900 the
00:35:28.020 kids
00:35:28.280 but
00:35:28.540 I
00:35:29.020 did
00:35:29.380 hear
00:35:29.560 things
00:35:29.920 like
00:35:30.280 your
00:35:30.680 kid
00:35:30.880 is
00:35:30.940 going
00:35:31.020 to
00:35:31.100 kill
00:35:31.240 my
00:35:31.420 kid
00:35:31.560 if
00:35:31.640 they
00:35:31.720 don't
00:35:31.840 wear
00:35:31.960 a
00:35:32.060 mask
00:35:32.260 very
00:35:32.940 similar
00:35:33.640 without
00:35:35.480 the
00:35:35.620 word
00:35:35.760 murder
00:35:36.020 being
00:35:36.260 used
00:35:36.540 we
00:35:38.640 talk
00:35:38.780 about
00:35:38.940 segregation
00:35:39.540 in
00:35:40.100 the
00:35:40.200 schools
00:35:40.580 and
00:35:41.700 tribalism
00:35:42.300 and how
00:35:42.660 those
00:35:42.920 in
00:35:43.040 power
00:35:43.360 it
00:35:43.680 is
00:35:44.100 so
00:35:44.280 alluring
00:35:44.640 to

00:35:46.660 people
00:35:47.060 by
00:35:47.340 tribes
00:35:47.900 because
00:35:48.400 it's
00:35:48.800 much
00:35:48.980 easier
00:35:49.720 to
00:35:49.880 exploit
00:35:50.260 us
00:35:50.420 that
00:35:50.600 way
00:35:50.820 well
00:35:52.980 this
00:35:53.120 is
00:35:53.220 another
00:35:53.480 version
00:35:53.840 of
00:35:54.000 it
00:35:54.320 another

00:36:10.740 they are

00:38:09.300 it
00:38:09.480 and
00:38:09.700 we
00:38:09.880 have
00:38:10.020 to
00:38:10.140 not
00:38:10.680 support
00:38:11.680 it
00:38:11.860 or
00:38:11.960 tolerate
00:38:12.180 it
00:38:12.320 but
00:38:12.420 celebrate
00:38:12.880 it
00:38:13.140 and
00:38:15.820 that
00:38:16.020 that
00:38:16.580 thing
00:38:16.860 of
00:38:17.040 consent
00:38:17.440 that
00:38:17.680 was
00:38:17.840 the
00:38:18.020 one
00:38:18.340 thing
00:38:18.740 as
00:38:20.420 I've
00:38:20.560 said
00:38:20.760 many
00:38:21.060 times
00:38:21.360 we've
00:38:21.660 we've
00:38:22.020 hinged
00:38:22.540 we've
00:38:22.820 gotten
00:38:23.000 rid
00:38:23.160 of
00:38:23.300 all
00:38:23.800 notions
00:38:24.640 of
00:38:24.840 sexual
00:38:25.120 morality
00:38:25.580 the
00:38:26.700 whole
00:38:26.900 sexual
00:38:27.280 moral
00:38:27.680 code
00:38:28.200 that
00:38:28.440 has
00:38:28.600 guided
00:38:28.900 most
00:38:29.220 of
00:38:29.360 mankind
00:38:29.620 for
00:38:30.660 millennia
00:38:31.100 we've
00:38:31.320 tossed
00:38:31.580 out the
00:38:31.840 window
00:38:31.960 but
00:38:32.120 we
00:38:32.400 have
00:38:32.720 hung
00:38:32.940 on
00:38:33.220 to
00:38:33.500 this
00:38:34.060 one
00:38:34.400 thing
00:38:34.840 the
00:38:35.060 C
00:38:35.240 word
00:38:35.500 consent
00:38:36.000 and
00:38:37.340 that's
00:38:37.560 all
00:38:37.680 that
00:38:37.820 matters
00:38:38.140 and
00:38:41.000 we know
00:38:41.240 that
00:38:41.420 consent
00:38:41.780 does
00:38:42.300 matter
00:38:42.600 it
00:38:42.720 is
00:38:42.860 very
00:38:43.020 important
00:38:43.380 it
00:38:44.140 is
00:38:44.280 one
00:38:44.740 of
00:38:45.060 the
00:38:45.200 fundamental
00:38:45.800 moral
00:38:49.560 prerequisites
00:38:50.580 but
00:38:52.000 not
00:38:52.160 the
00:38:52.300 only
00:38:52.520 one
00:38:52.840 and
00:38:55.580 the
00:38:56.160 thing
00:38:56.360 is
00:38:56.500 you
00:38:56.600 don't
00:38:57.120 if
00:38:57.660 if
00:38:58.800 we're
00:38:58.920 talking
00:38:59.240 about
00:38:59.680 love
00:39:01.300 and
00:39:01.880 devotion
00:39:02.600 and
00:39:03.540 human
00:39:03.880 dignity
00:39:04.360 if
00:39:05.060 we're
00:39:05.160 bringing
00:39:05.400 that
00:39:05.760 into
00:39:05.960 the
00:39:06.120 equation
00:39:06.520 with
00:39:08.040 human
00:39:08.260 sexual
00:39:08.560 relations
00:39:09.060 then
00:39:09.800 we
00:39:09.900 don't
00:39:10.000 even
00:39:10.120 need
00:39:10.220 to
00:39:10.320 talk
00:39:10.500 about
00:39:10.680 consent
00:39:11.000 because
00:39:11.280 that
00:39:11.440 comes
00:39:11.700 with
00:39:11.920 it
00:39:12.360 but
00:39:14.100 we're
00:39:14.240 throwing
00:39:14.380 all
00:39:14.540 that
00:39:14.680 out
00:39:14.780 who cares
00:39:15.000 about
00:39:15.140 love
00:39:15.340 who cares
00:39:15.520 about
00:39:15.640 devotion
00:39:15.940 who cares
00:39:16.280 about
00:39:16.420 human
00:39:16.620 dignity
00:39:17.020 none
00:39:18.220 of that
00:39:18.400 matters
00:39:18.700 obviously
00:39:19.320 these
00:39:19.520 men
00:39:19.720 here
00:39:19.860 they
00:39:19.980 don't
00:39:20.080 care
00:39:20.200 about
00:39:20.320 their
00:39:20.460 own
00:39:20.600 dignity
00:39:20.880 a lot
00:39:23.000 of
00:39:23.080 times
00:39:23.240 these
00:39:23.380 pride
00:39:23.680 events
00:39:24.100 celebrations
00:39:25.140 of
00:39:25.400 pride
00:39:25.640 but
00:39:25.760 also
00:39:25.940 a
00:39:26.140 celebration
00:39:26.640 of
00:39:27.000 a
00:39:27.580 lack
00:39:27.900 of
00:39:28.080 dignity
00:39:28.480 men
00:39:29.740 walking
00:39:30.040 around
00:39:30.240 like
00:39:30.440 that
00:39:30.720 no
00:39:31.060 shame
00:39:31.360 whatsoever
00:39:31.560 a
00:39:31.920 celebration
00:39:32.400 of
00:39:32.620 shamelessness
00:39:33.300 so
00:39:35.240 that
00:39:35.420 all
00:39:35.560 goes
00:39:35.720 out
00:39:35.860 the
00:39:35.960 window
00:39:36.140 the
00:39:36.300 only
00:39:36.420 thing
00:39:36.580 we
00:39:36.660 have
00:39:36.820 left
00:39:37.040 is
00:39:37.780 consent
00:39:38.280 and
00:39:39.400 I
00:39:39.580 think
00:39:39.740 most
00:39:39.960 people
00:39:40.280 assume
00:39:40.760 or
00:39:41.000 hope
00:39:41.280 that
00:39:41.500 well
00:39:41.740 because
00:39:42.000 we
00:39:42.160 have
00:39:42.300 consent
00:39:42.620 that's
00:39:42.900 going
00:39:43.000 to
00:39:43.120 stop
00:39:43.560 the
00:39:44.420 train
00:39:44.880 from
00:39:45.180 going
00:39:45.400 any
00:39:45.620 further
00:39:46.020 than
00:39:46.280 it
00:39:46.400 already
00:39:46.640 has
00:39:46.880 gone
00:39:47.260 because
00:39:48.220 children
00:39:49.680 cannot
00:39:50.180 consent
00:39:50.720 to
00:39:50.920 sexual
00:39:51.220 relations
00:39:51.760 and
00:39:52.200 so
00:39:52.300 that's
00:39:52.500 why
00:39:52.620 we're
00:39:52.760 not
00:39:52.920 going
00:39:53.040 to
00:39:53.120 see
00:39:53.340 the
00:39:53.500 normalization
00:39:54.080 of
00:39:54.240 pedophilia
00:39:54.720 yes
00:39:55.500 that's
00:39:55.840 true
00:39:56.180 but
00:39:57.560 at
00:39:57.660 the
00:39:57.780 same
00:39:57.980 time
00:39:58.300 we're
00:39:58.460 also
00:39:58.680 being
00:39:58.900 told
00:39:59.220 that
00:39:59.780 children
00:40:00.140 can
00:40:00.720 decide
00:40:01.000 their
00:40:01.160 own
00:40:01.320 gender
00:40:01.640 from
00:40:02.120 the
00:40:02.260 age
00:40:02.460 of
00:40:02.600 three
00:40:03.020 they
00:40:04.180 can
00:40:04.360 make
00:40:04.580 these
00:40:04.920 kind
00:40:06.220 of
00:40:06.400 profound
00:40:07.080 lifelong
00:40:13.000 choices
00:40:13.120 that
00:40:13.380 are
00:40:13.860 not
00:40:14.200 just
00:40:14.420 lifelong
00:40:14.800 and
00:40:15.160 profound
00:40:15.640 but
00:40:15.940 also
00:40:16.260 that
00:40:16.660 deal
00:40:16.980 with
00:40:17.200 their
00:40:17.400 sexuality
00:40:18.040 they
00:40:19.460 are
00:40:19.580 fully
00:40:20.020 equipped
00:40:20.460 at
00:40:20.880 the
00:40:21.040 age
00:40:21.280 of
00:40:21.440 four
00:40:21.860 to
00:40:22.060 make
00:40:22.220 those
00:40:22.400 choices
00:40:22.780 to
00:40:24.380 consent
00:40:24.880 to
00:40:25.100 those
00:40:25.280 choices
00:40:25.660 it
00:40:28.360 is
00:40:28.500 not
00:40:28.660 a
00:40:28.800 far
00:40:28.980 leap
00:40:29.280 before
00:40:30.260 the
00:40:30.400 people
00:40:30.600 who
00:40:30.740 are
00:40:30.840 saying
00:40:31.120 that
00:40:31.300 also
00:40:31.620 say
00:40:31.920 well
00:40:32.240 they
00:40:34.000 can
00:40:34.140 consent
00:40:34.400 to
00:40:34.540 change
00:40:34.760 their
00:40:34.880 gender
00:40:35.160 at
00:40:35.320 four
00:40:35.520 maybe
00:40:37.220 they
00:40:37.340 can
00:40:37.460 also
00:40:37.640 consent
00:40:37.940 to
00:40:38.220 sexual
00:40:38.700 relations
00:40:39.100 not
00:40:42.100 a
00:40:42.220 far
00:40:42.380 leap
00:40:42.560 we're
00:40:42.720 already
00:40:42.920 seeing
00:40:43.180 that
00:40:43.340 start
00:40:43.560 to
00:40:43.680 happen
00:40:43.920 and
00:40:44.420 it
00:40:45.900 will
00:40:46.020 become
00:40:46.400 more
00:40:46.940 explicit
00:40:47.380 in
00:40:47.700 the
00:40:47.800 years
00:40:47.960 ahead
00:40:48.180 much
00:40:48.500 sooner
00:40:48.720 than
00:40:48.900 I
00:40:49.020 think
00:40:49.140 most
00:40:49.300 people
00:40:49.540 realize
00:40:50.780 all right
00:40:51.580 let's
00:40:51.760 move
00:40:51.960 now
00:40:52.140 to
00:40:52.280 reading
00:40:52.420 the
00:40:52.500 YouTube
00:40:52.700 comments
00:40:53.200 this
00:40:54.420 is
00:40:54.680 from
00:40:54.980 the
00:40:55.140 lonely
00:40:55.420 dragon
00:40:55.900 says
00:40:56.180 you
00:40:56.280 know
00:40:56.400 you've
00:40:56.580 screwed
00:40:56.780 up
00:40:56.960 when
00:40:57.080 you
00:40:57.180 see
00:40:57.420 when
00:40:57.620 you
00:40:57.720 draw
00:40:57.940 Matt
00:40:58.280 sweet
00:40:58.580 baby
00:40:58.860 gang
00:40:59.160 Walsh
00:40:59.500 himself
00:40:59.800 to
00:40:59.960 a
00:41:00.060 public
00:41:00.260 meeting
00:41:00.560 to
00:41:01.220 yell
00:41:01.460 at
00:41:01.600 actual
00:41:02.020 supposed
00:41:02.560 humans
00:41:03.020 well
00:41:03.760 I don't
00:41:03.920 think
00:41:04.040 I
00:41:04.140 yelled
00:41:04.360 at
00:41:04.480 them
00:41:04.600 did
00:41:04.720 I
00:41:04.800 well
00:41:04.940 I
00:41:05.020 yelled
00:41:05.180 a
00:41:05.300 little
00:41:05.420 bit
00:41:05.640 I
00:41:06.880 was
00:41:07.040 speaking
00:41:07.540 forcefully
00:41:08.120 maybe
00:41:10.260 lapsing
00:41:10.740 into
00:41:10.920 yelling
00:41:11.240 I'll
00:41:12.160 admit
00:41:12.400 John
00:41:14.340 says
00:41:14.620 that was
00:41:14.840 absolutely
00:41:15.120 flawless
00:41:15.540 I've
00:41:15.760 never
00:41:15.880 been
00:41:16.020 more
00:41:16.200 proud
00:41:16.500 to be
00:41:16.680 a
00:41:16.800 member
00:41:16.960 of the
00:41:17.180 sweet
00:41:17.380 baby
00:41:17.600 gang
00:41:17.840 than
00:41:17.960 I
00:41:18.060 am
00:41:18.180 now
00:41:18.420 everybody
00:41:18.780 give
00:41:19.080 it
00:41:19.160 up
00:41:19.280 for
00:41:19.400 the
00:41:19.520 sweet
00:41:19.760 daddy
00:41:20.020 Walsh
00:41:20.420 that's
00:41:21.160 my
00:41:21.340 sweet
00:41:21.620 daddy
00:41:21.940 you
00:41:23.840 know
00:41:23.980 I
00:41:24.140 this
00:41:24.500 the
00:41:24.760 sweet
00:41:24.960 daddy
00:41:25.180 thing
00:41:25.460 is
00:41:25.920 I
00:41:27.220 hate
00:41:29.080 to

00:41:32.200 I
00:41:32.340 can
00:41:32.480 see
00:41:32.600 because
00:41:32.860 the
00:41:33.200 other
00:41:33.340 problem
00:41:33.640 is
00:41:33.800 that
00:41:33.960 the
00:41:35.300 comments
00:41:35.680 that
00:41:35.880 say

00:41:43.500 it is
00:41:45.860 getting
00:41:46.060 it's
00:41:46.220 getting
00:41:46.420 a little
00:41:46.720 bit
00:41:46.880 disturbing
00:41:47.240 but
00:41:47.540 thanks
00:41:48.560 for the
00:41:48.760 support

00:41:52.360 that

00:42:08.480 that's
00:42:08.720 not
00:42:08.880 true

00:42:10.120 mean
00:42:10.220 have

00:42:14.760 let
00:42:17.220 this

00:42:41.000 a
00:42:41.120 person
00:42:41.380 has
00:42:41.560 an
00:42:41.660 inflated
00:42:42.100 sense
00:42:42.400 of

00:42:42.780 importance
00:42:43.540 Matt
00:42:44.700 do
00:42:44.820 you
00:42:44.900 bring
00:42:45.060 up
00:42:45.180 the
00:42:45.300 fact
00:42:45.540 that
00:42:45.740 no
00:42:45.880 one
00:42:46.040 had
00:42:46.440 died
00:42:46.700 of

00:42:48.180 against
00:42:48.440 hand
00:42:48.740 washing
00:42:49.040 policies
00:42:49.580 do
00:42:50.200 you
00:42:50.260 know
00:42:50.360 how
00:42:50.520 dry
00:42:50.940 and
00:42:51.180 damaged
00:42:51.540 your
00:42:51.740 skin
00:42:52.040 gets
00:42:52.300 if
00:42:52.440 you
00:42:52.520 have
00:42:52.640 to
00:42:52.760 wash
00:42:53.040 every
00:42:53.220 time
00:42:53.400 you
00:42:53.500 go
00:42:53.580 to
00:42:53.660 the

00:42:54.500 please
00:42:55.120 come
00:42:55.340 after
00:42:55.560 the
00:42:55.720 true
00:42:55.940 threat
00:42:56.320 okay
00:42:58.040 Nathan
00:42:58.340 so
00:43:00.520 I'm
00:43:00.880 going
00:43:00.940 to
00:43:00.980 try
00:43:01.140 this
00:43:01.320 again
00:43:01.540 here
00:43:01.740 okay
00:43:01.980 you
00:43:04.200 say
00:43:04.640 that
00:43:05.020 wearing
00:43:06.460 a
00:43:06.680 mask
00:43:07.200 is
00:43:08.000 like
00:43:08.320 washing
00:43:08.720 your
00:43:08.920 hands
00:43:09.280 a
00:43:10.180 basic
00:43:10.620 ordinary
00:43:11.180 hygiene
00:43:11.660 method
00:43:11.980 right
00:43:12.240 that's
00:43:13.260 the
00:43:13.340 comparison
00:43:13.640 you're
00:43:13.840 making
00:43:14.060 okay
00:43:15.440 then
00:43:16.620 Nathan
00:43:17.000 why
00:43:18.840 didn't
00:43:19.360 you
00:43:19.660 ever
00:43:20.080 wear
00:43:20.500 a
00:43:20.780 mask
00:43:21.340 until
00:43:21.920 18
00:43:22.300 months
00:43:22.540 ago
00:43:22.800 I'm
00:43:24.740 assuming
00:43:24.980 you
00:43:25.160 didn't
00:43:26.500 correct
00:43:27.140 me
00:43:27.320 if
00:43:27.420 I'm
00:43:27.520 wrong
00:43:27.760 maybe
00:43:28.320 you're
00:43:28.460 the
00:43:28.560 one
00:43:28.760 person
00:43:29.120 in
00:43:29.340 America
00:43:29.640 who
00:43:29.820 actually
00:43:30.100 did
00:43:30.440 prior
00:43:30.680 to
00:43:30.780 18
00:43:30.980 months
00:43:31.260 ago
00:43:31.380 walk
00:43:31.800 around
00:43:31.960 every
00:43:32.140 day
00:43:32.260 in
00:43:32.320 a
00:43:32.380 mask
00:43:32.580 I'm
00:43:33.720 going
00:43:33.840 to
00:43:33.940 assume
00:43:34.360 that
00:43:35.260 you
00:43:35.380 didn't
00:43:35.760 and
00:43:37.080 now
00:43:37.240 you're
00:43:37.400 saying
00:43:37.600 it's
00:43:37.880 just
00:43:37.980 like
00:43:38.100 washing
00:43:39.660 your
00:43:39.780 hands
00:43:39.940 it's
00:43:40.060 no
00:43:40.160 big
00:43:40.300 deal
00:43:40.520 why
00:43:42.720 didn't
00:43:42.900 you
00:43:43.000 do
00:43:43.140 it
00:43:43.240 before
00:43:43.560 did
00:43:44.760 you
00:43:44.820 not
00:43:44.980 know
00:43:45.140 that
00:43:45.300 masks
00:43:45.600 existed
00:43:46.100 did
00:43:47.740 you
00:43:47.840 not
00:43:48.020 know
00:43:48.180 that
00:43:48.340 medical
00:43:48.560 professionals
00:43:49.100 used
00:43:49.720 them
00:43:50.000 to
00:43:50.260 stop
00:43:51.060 themselves
00:43:51.460 from
00:43:51.880 spreading
00:43:53.080 germs
00:43:53.460 or
00:43:53.640 coming
00:43:53.860 in
00:43:53.980 contact
00:43:54.220 with
00:43:54.380 germs
00:43:54.500 did
00:43:54.640 you
00:43:54.720 not
00:43:55.040 know
00:43:55.200 any
00:44:00.440 was
00:44:00.600 really
00:44:00.820 enlightening
00:44:01.280 to
00:44:01.480 you
00:44:01.580 did
00:44:01.740 you
00:44:01.840 learn
00:44:02.240 anything
00:44:02.560 about
00:44:02.820 masks
00:44:03.140 that
00:44:03.300 you
00:44:03.380 didn't
00:44:03.660 already
00:44:03.900 know
00:44:04.240 because
00:44:07.440 I'm
00:44:08.200 assuming
00:44:08.480 that's
00:44:08.760 not
00:44:08.860 the
00:44:08.960 case
00:44:09.100 either
00:44:09.380 so
00:44:10.540 you
00:44:10.640 knew
00:44:10.780 the
00:44:10.920 masks
00:44:11.180 existed
00:44:11.700 you
00:44:12.340 knew
00:44:12.740 what
00:44:12.960 they
00:44:13.140 did
00:44:13.520 what
00:44:14.860 service
00:44:15.880 they
00:44:16.180 are
00:44:16.400 supposed
00:44:16.640 to
00:44:16.840 perform
00:44:17.120 yeah
00:44:18.520 COVID
00:44:18.860 wasn't
00:44:19.200 out
00:44:19.560 there
00:44:19.780 but
00:44:19.940 you
00:44:20.060 knew
00:44:20.180 that
00:44:20.320 many
00:44:20.560 other
00:44:21.060 pathogens
00:44:22.440 and
00:44:22.840 germs
00:44:23.100 and so
00:44:23.400 on
00:44:23.560 and
00:44:24.320 viruses
00:44:24.720 were
00:44:24.980 out
00:44:25.180 there
00:44:25.420 airborne
00:44:26.340 viruses
00:44:26.860 the
00:44:27.080 flu
00:44:27.280 other
00:44:27.500 things
00:44:27.900 many
00:44:30.260 of
00:44:30.400 those
00:44:30.580 may
00:44:30.760 not
00:44:30.920 have
00:44:31.020 been
00:44:31.120 as
00:44:31.280 deadly
00:44:31.500 to
00:44:31.720 you
00:44:31.880 as
00:44:32.080 COVID
00:44:32.320 but
00:44:32.460 they're
00:44:32.620 still
00:44:32.820 out
00:44:33.080 there
00:44:33.360 and
00:44:34.980 you
00:44:35.100 could
00:44:35.240 get
00:44:35.400 infected
00:44:35.800 and
00:44:37.000 you
00:44:37.100 say
00:44:37.280 that
00:44:37.380 wearing
00:44:37.580 a

00:47:48.300 recent
00:47:48.640 events
00:47:49.000 Australia
00:47:50.140 as you
00:47:50.400 may have
00:47:50.580 heard
00:47:50.740 is in
00:47:51.040 a full
00:47:51.320 lockdown
00:47:51.660 because
00:47:51.900 of
00:47:52.020 coronavirus
00:47:52.320 the
00:47:53.060 measures
00:47:53.380 it has
00:47:53.860 taken
00:47:55.220 are among
00:47:56.020 the most
00:47:56.360 extreme
00:47:56.780 in the
00:47:57.100 world
00:47:57.320 with the
00:47:57.940 military
00:47:58.280 being called
00:47:58.800 in to
00:47:59.060 enforce
00:47:59.400 the rules
00:47:59.760 in many
00:48:00.040 of its
00:48:00.260 cities
00:48:00.440 including
00:48:00.740 in
00:48:00.980 Sydney
00:48:01.280 which
00:48:02.140 has had
00:48:02.400 a total
00:48:02.840 of
00:48:03.080 four
00:48:03.520 cases
00:48:04.040 yes
00:48:05.560 four
00:48:05.920 in a
00:48:07.120 year
00:48:07.460 okay
00:48:08.160 four
00:48:08.860 cases
00:48:09.260 in a
00:48:09.720 year
00:48:10.020 and the
00:48:10.800 military
00:48:11.140 shows up
00:48:11.800 in fact
00:48:12.920 the whole
00:48:13.140 country of
00:48:13.480 25 million
00:48:14.120 is experiencing
00:48:14.700 a rolling
00:48:15.720 average of
00:48:16.620 two
00:48:16.960 covid
00:48:17.540 deaths
00:48:17.900 a day
00:48:18.360 two a
00:48:19.060 day
00:48:19.260 now if
00:48:20.740 I were to
00:48:21.080 venture to
00:48:21.520 do some
00:48:21.900 math here
00:48:22.440 which is
00:48:22.720 usually a
00:48:23.140 mistake
00:48:23.500 by my
00:48:24.280 calculations
00:48:25.380 a total
00:48:25.880 of
00:48:26.180 .00008%
00:48:30.360 of the
00:48:30.660 population
00:48:31.080 is dying
00:48:31.480 of covid
00:48:31.840 per day
00:48:32.260 and that
00:48:33.500 is enough
00:48:33.780 to justify
00:48:34.240 a military
00:48:35.200 enforced
00:48:35.780 lockdown
00:48:36.540 and all
00:48:37.860 of this
00:48:38.080 while
00:48:38.260 Australia
00:48:38.680 remains
00:48:39.220 a country
00:48:39.720 absolutely
00:48:40.300 chock full
00:48:41.200 of scary
00:48:42.420 deadly
00:48:42.840 stuff that
00:48:43.320 can kill
00:48:43.640 you
00:48:43.840 there are
00:48:44.800 more natural
00:48:45.480 dangers
00:48:46.000 in Australia
00:48:46.540 than almost
00:48:46.940 anywhere else
00:48:47.480 on earth
00:48:47.760 outside of
00:48:48.180 maybe the
00:48:48.480 Amazon
00:48:48.800 rainforest
00:48:49.400 in fact
00:48:50.300 covid has
00:48:50.880 killed as
00:48:51.320 many people
00:48:51.880 this year
00:48:52.220 in Australia
00:48:52.640 as animal
00:48:53.900 attacks
00:48:54.340 typically kill
00:48:55.460 in the same
00:48:55.900 country
00:48:56.240 266 people
00:48:58.300 were killed
00:48:58.600 by animals
00:48:59.060 in Australia
00:48:59.480 between 2008
00:49:00.300 and 2017
00:49:01.520 making about
00:49:02.300 you know
00:49:02.680 25 or so
00:49:03.440 a year
00:49:03.760 that's about
00:49:05.520 how many
00:49:06.120 have died
00:49:06.480 from covid
00:49:06.920 this year
00:49:07.400 in Australia
00:49:07.820 by the way
00:49:09.600 most of the
00:49:10.100 animal deaths
00:49:10.680 are from
00:49:11.080 horses and
00:49:11.660 cows
00:49:12.020 surprisingly
00:49:12.620 which means
00:49:13.600 that it's
00:49:14.000 it's not
00:49:14.460 far from the
00:49:14.880 truth to say
00:49:15.300 that the
00:49:15.600 average
00:49:15.940 Australian
00:49:16.400 should be
00:49:17.220 about as
00:49:17.880 afraid of
00:49:18.360 livestock
00:49:18.900 as he is
00:49:19.800 of covid
00:49:20.280 they might as
00:49:21.340 well shut
00:49:21.640 down the
00:49:21.980 country and
00:49:22.520 call in the
00:49:23.340 military over
00:49:24.360 a loose cow
00:49:25.160 roaming the
00:49:25.660 street somewhere
00:49:26.240 but don't expect
00:49:27.880 the authorities
00:49:28.440 in charge of
00:49:29.120 Australia to
00:49:29.580 have this
00:49:29.920 sense of
00:49:30.200 proportion
00:49:30.520 any more
00:49:31.320 than the
00:49:31.600 authorities
00:49:31.880 in charge
00:49:32.260 of the
00:49:32.480 rest of
00:49:32.780 the world
00:49:33.140 have a
00:49:33.520 sense of
00:49:33.780 proportion
00:49:34.120 here is
00:49:34.960 the health
00:49:35.360 chief of
00:49:35.840 New South
00:49:36.320 Wales
00:49:36.620 Dr.
00:49:37.100 Kerry
00:49:37.340 Chant
00:49:37.800 giving a
00:49:39.260 masterclass
00:49:40.040 in disproportionate
00:49:41.180 responses
00:49:41.660 watch this
00:49:42.220 we all need
00:49:43.980 to work
00:49:44.420 together
00:49:44.880 we need
00:49:46.820 to limit
00:49:47.500 our
00:49:48.000 movements
00:49:48.620 we need
00:49:51.400 to consider
00:49:52.820 whenever we
00:49:53.740 leave our
00:49:54.200 house that
00:49:54.860 anyone with
00:49:55.560 us and
00:49:56.620 anyone we
00:49:57.160 come into
00:49:57.520 contact with
00:49:58.360 could convey
00:50:00.560 the virus
00:50:01.200 so whilst
00:50:03.640 it is a
00:50:04.120 human nature
00:50:05.020 to engage
00:50:06.240 in conversation
00:50:07.040 with others
00:50:07.720 to be
00:50:08.800 friendly
00:50:09.380 unfortunately
00:50:11.300 this is not
00:50:12.700 the time
00:50:13.140 to do
00:50:13.480 that
00:50:13.720 so even
00:50:14.220 if you
00:50:14.480 run into
00:50:14.980 your next
00:50:15.440 door neighbour
00:50:15.980 in the
00:50:17.840 shopping centre
00:50:18.580 in the
00:50:19.020 Coles
00:50:19.400 whilst you're
00:50:19.760 at Coles
00:50:20.100 Awards
00:50:20.380 or Aldi
00:50:21.120 or any
00:50:22.060 other
00:50:22.380 grocery shop
00:50:23.600 don't start
00:50:25.160 up a
00:50:25.400 conversation
00:50:25.940 now is
00:50:27.220 the time
00:50:27.720 for minimising
00:50:28.720 your interactions
00:50:29.520 with others
00:50:30.140 even if you've
00:50:31.380 got a mask
00:50:32.060 do not think
00:50:33.800 that affords
00:50:34.500 total protection
00:50:35.320 we want to
00:50:35.960 be absolutely
00:50:36.840 sure
00:50:37.420 that as we
00:50:38.560 go about
00:50:38.980 our daily
00:50:39.460 lives we
00:50:40.220 do not
00:50:40.540 come into
00:50:40.960 contact
00:50:41.480 with anyone
00:50:42.420 else that
00:50:42.820 would pose
00:50:43.200 a risk
00:50:43.660 the virus
00:50:45.380 is out
00:50:45.720 there
00:50:45.940 anyone can
00:50:46.920 have it
00:50:47.240 everyone is
00:50:47.740 a threat
00:50:48.080 everyone
00:50:48.880 could kill
00:50:49.300 you do
00:50:50.080 not engage
00:50:50.620 don't speak
00:50:51.540 to anyone
00:50:51.920 don't have
00:50:52.540 conversations
00:50:53.140 a conversation
00:50:54.380 could kill
00:50:54.880 you if your
00:50:55.900 neighbour tries
00:50:56.420 to say hello
00:50:56.960 shoot him
00:50:57.660 in the face
00:50:58.580 and then run
00:50:59.840 and lock
00:51:00.140 yourself in
00:51:00.500 the basement
00:51:00.860 your lives
00:51:01.900 depend on
00:51:02.440 it
00:51:02.640 now I
00:51:03.800 listen to
00:51:04.080 that and
00:51:04.660 you have to
00:51:05.780 understand I
00:51:06.280 am actually
00:51:06.700 in favour
00:51:07.360 of banning
00:51:08.800 small talk
00:51:09.440 I am in
00:51:10.880 favour of
00:51:11.420 sending in
00:51:11.860 the military
00:51:12.400 to stop
00:51:13.240 people from
00:51:13.640 having small
00:51:14.180 talk
00:51:14.420 conversations
00:51:14.860 I already
00:51:15.600 do avoid
00:51:16.240 having
00:51:16.480 interactions
00:51:16.880 with people
00:51:17.340 I already
00:51:18.400 have adopted
00:51:19.120 a policy
00:51:19.580 of using
00:51:19.960 lethal force
00:51:20.540 on anyone
00:51:20.920 who attempts
00:51:21.320 to have
00:51:21.780 a conversation
00:51:22.220 with me
00:51:22.520 I already
00:51:23.260 am unfriendly
00:51:24.200 I already
00:51:25.460 am a fascist
00:51:26.420 dictator
00:51:26.740 so this
00:51:27.740 should all
00:51:28.040 be music
00:51:28.560 to my
00:51:28.920 ears
00:51:29.380 in fact I
00:51:30.520 should be
00:51:30.800 volunteering
00:51:31.160 to go to
00:51:31.660 Australia
00:51:32.060 and use
00:51:32.660 my expertise
00:51:33.200 to help
00:51:33.680 enforce these
00:51:34.340 rules
00:51:34.540 but avoiding
00:51:35.820 conversation
00:51:36.320 due to a
00:51:36.860 generally
00:51:37.180 antisocial
00:51:37.980 disposition
00:51:38.480 is far
00:51:39.900 different from
00:51:40.420 avoiding it
00:51:40.900 due to a
00:51:41.280 suffocating
00:51:41.760 fear that
00:51:42.220 having a
00:51:42.640 conversation
00:51:43.060 will literally
00:51:43.800 kill you
00:51:44.540 I can
00:51:45.640 understand and
00:51:46.200 endorse the
00:51:46.720 former
00:51:47.000 not the
00:51:47.780 latter
00:51:48.020 but the
00:51:49.340 scariest thing
00:51:49.940 here as
00:51:50.240 always
00:51:50.520 is not the
00:51:52.300 insane rambling
00:51:53.080 of Dr.
00:51:53.860 Chant with
00:51:54.420 the New South
00:51:55.020 Wales Health
00:51:55.480 Office
00:51:55.760 there have
00:51:56.720 always been
00:51:57.100 power mad
00:51:57.760 sociopaths in
00:51:58.700 position of
00:51:59.160 power
00:51:59.440 inevitably
00:52:00.160 those are the
00:52:00.720 kinds of
00:52:01.060 people who
00:52:01.380 typically seek
00:52:01.960 positions of
00:52:02.480 power
00:52:02.680 this is the
00:52:03.500 case everywhere
00:52:04.120 and for all
00:52:04.660 time which is
00:52:05.220 why our
00:52:05.620 system was
00:52:06.120 was not put
00:52:06.760 in place to
00:52:07.720 attract specially
00:52:08.680 virtuous politicians
00:52:09.720 there is no
00:52:10.460 such thing but
00:52:11.600 instead to protect
00:52:12.460 us against the
00:52:13.620 megalomaniacal idiots
00:52:15.000 who would
00:52:15.500 unavoidably end up
00:52:16.660 in those positions
00:52:17.380 unfortunately that
00:52:19.960 system hasn't been
00:52:20.740 working as well in
00:52:21.720 recent times and
00:52:22.940 in any case that is
00:52:24.100 not what scares me
00:52:24.720 the most in this
00:52:25.240 case what scares me
00:52:27.460 are all the average
00:52:28.380 people however many
00:52:29.940 millions of them
00:52:30.640 who do not see
00:52:31.860 any problem with
00:52:33.500 locking yourself
00:52:34.260 away and avoiding
00:52:35.200 all human contact
00:52:36.480 treating human
00:52:37.720 beings as plague
00:52:38.760 carrying rodents
00:52:39.820 for fear of a
00:52:40.880 virus that has
00:52:41.640 infected four
00:52:42.440 people in your
00:52:43.100 city in a year
00:52:43.880 and killed none
00:52:45.180 of them
00:52:45.540 many millions in
00:52:48.080 Australia and
00:52:48.820 here and across
00:52:49.440 the world have
00:52:50.380 lost their ability
00:52:51.060 to think rationally
00:52:51.740 about this or most
00:52:52.460 anything else
00:52:52.980 talking to them
00:52:54.360 feels very much
00:52:55.020 like like the
00:52:55.540 conversations I
00:52:56.160 have with my
00:52:56.700 daughter when
00:52:57.640 I've tried to
00:52:58.140 convince her that
00:52:58.660 there's no monster
00:52:59.440 in the closet
00:52:59.980 I mean her fear
00:53:01.840 and her imagination
00:53:02.640 override any
00:53:04.200 rational analysis
00:53:05.300 or investigation of
00:53:06.420 the question which
00:53:06.920 is fine for an
00:53:07.520 eight-year-old I
00:53:08.640 can literally open
00:53:09.480 the closet and
00:53:10.840 show her and say
00:53:11.560 look see there's
00:53:12.400 nothing in here
00:53:13.200 okay just mounds of
00:53:15.080 clothes on the
00:53:15.600 floor because you
00:53:16.140 can't be bothered to
00:53:16.720 hang them properly
00:53:17.320 as I've told you a
00:53:18.020 million times in
00:53:18.820 fact you know what
00:53:19.260 maybe there are
00:53:20.000 monsters under that
00:53:20.700 mound of clothes
00:53:21.260 you know yeah
00:53:21.800 yeah yeah hang
00:53:22.620 the clothes so that
00:53:23.420 monsters don't hide
00:53:24.340 under it how about
00:53:25.160 that anyway we've
00:53:27.680 gotten sidetracked
00:53:28.200 but the point is
00:53:28.940 that children can
00:53:30.080 be childish in
00:53:30.920 that way and
00:53:31.400 that again is
00:53:31.800 fine it is not
00:53:33.400 fine for grown
00:53:33.980 adults we live now
00:53:36.080 in a world of
00:53:36.700 adults cowering in
00:53:37.940 fear because of
00:53:38.640 the monsters in
00:53:39.300 their closets and
00:53:40.500 all of those
00:53:41.080 adults especially
00:53:42.580 the ones running
00:53:43.180 Australia are
00:53:44.240 canceled in fact the
00:53:44.960 whole country of
00:53:45.500 Australia is
00:53:45.960 canceled if you
00:53:47.080 people want to be
00:53:47.620 afraid of something
00:53:48.340 be afraid of the
00:53:49.380 spiders in your
00:53:50.180 country you have
00:53:50.960 spiders literally
00:53:52.040 raining from the
00:53:52.800 sky threatening to
00:53:54.540 crawl into your ears
00:53:55.560 and eat your brain
00:53:56.380 that's a rational
00:53:57.500 fear focus on
00:53:59.580 that instead in
00:54:00.960 the meantime you're
00:54:02.220 all canceled and
00:54:04.620 we'll leave it there
00:54:05.020 for today thanks for
