00:02:23.340 and bravely demanding that the Taliban become an inclusive and equitable organization.

00:02:31.340 The bloodthirsty, cave-dwelling goat herders, frozen in time since the year 750, must immediately and without delay adopt the value system of a 20-year-old women's studies major.

00:02:42.760 Last night, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield appeared on CNN to again drive this point home,

00:02:49.000 and they just sound dumber and dumber every time they do it.

00:02:53.280 We are hearing from people in Afghanistan that they are getting threats from the Taliban,

00:03:00.020 and we have expressed in no uncertain terms here at the United Nations through a very strongly worded press statement from the Security Council

00:03:09.520 that we expect the Taliban to respect human rights, including the rights of women and girls.

00:03:15.580 We have also indicated that they have to be respectful of humanitarian law and that we do not expect to see that Afghanistan will become a safe haven for terrorists.

00:03:37.380 The Taliban must be shaking in their Birkenstocks.

00:03:39.760 You can imagine them fleeing for cover, running and screaming,

00:03:50.980 as the Taliban has promised, pinky promised, as I understand, to behave themselves

00:03:59.360 The UN, for its part, is ready to take the Taliban at its word.

00:04:03.700 They say the chief of field operations of the UN Children's Agency expressed cautious optimism

00:04:08.520 about working with Taliban officials following their seizure of power in Afghanistan,

00:04:12.280 citing their early expressions of support for girls' education.

00:04:16.420 We have ongoing discussions. We are quite optimistic based on those discussions.

00:04:20.300 UNICEF's chief of field operations in Afghanistan told a UN briefing,

00:04:23.740 adding that 11 out of 13 field offices were currently operational.

00:04:27.300 We have not a single issue with the Taliban in those field offices.

00:04:31.120 Well, it's good that they're optimistic.

00:04:32.620 The people clinging to the outside of a C-17 to get out of the country did not appear to be

00:04:37.220 quite as optimistic, however, and there is reason to lend more credibility to their assessment

00:04:42.700 than to the UN.

00:04:44.540 One reason is just that the UN is a scourge on this earth and nothing they say about anything is true.

00:04:50.920 But also, and here's a basic fact that seems to be incomprehensible to so many people in the West,

00:04:57.600 but we have to understand this.

00:04:59.520 If you want to understand anything about how the world works, you need to know this.

00:05:04.880 Members of the Taliban, like so many non-Western people, do not believe in women's rights.

00:05:11.760 In fact, they don't believe in rights at all.

00:05:15.160 I know that seems shocking to people these days.

00:05:16.980 How could you not believe in rights?

00:05:18.200 Well, they don't.

00:05:19.580 They have no concept of human rights.

00:05:21.540 They have no language for it.

00:05:24.840 Things like humanitarian law and human rights, these are uniquely Western and uniquely modern.

00:05:32.780 They are not universally recognized truths, but rather dogmas.

00:05:37.160 They're part of a religious creed, which is peculiar to our age and our civilization.

00:05:42.160 As it turns out, history did not begin 10 years ago,

00:05:44.920 and the earth does in fact expand beyond our local boundaries.

00:05:48.700 Just because we have a certain way of looking at things,

00:05:52.520 that doesn't mean that everyone has always looked at it that way,

00:05:56.200 either in the past or the present.

00:05:57.940 Now, that's not to say that all beliefs are valid and everyone's perspective is true in its own way.

00:06:02.580 I'm not making a pitch for relativism here, but for realism.

00:06:06.760 I believe that we have God-given rights, understood a certain way,

00:06:10.140 though even we don't really understand what we mean when we talk about rights,

00:06:13.500 which is why none of us can agree about what our rights are or where they come from.

00:06:17.780 Yet, I believe there is a truth here, an objective truth.

00:06:20.980 The point simply is that in order to see this truth,

00:06:23.080 you need a certain philosophical and religious framework,

00:06:25.940 yes, religious framework, which does not exist in that part of the world.

00:06:31.860 Human rights are, at root, a Christian theological concept.

00:06:37.140 That's what they are.

00:06:38.140 That's what they will always be.

00:06:39.340 So, in order to get anyone to really recognize and respect human rights,

00:06:45.340 you first have to convince them to adopt the entire framework upon which human rights are based.

00:06:51.520 But that's not a project that can be accomplished in 20 years or double that time or triple that time.

00:06:57.140 And it's not a goal that our government is capable of achieving in any length of time,

00:07:01.060 because our government is now and has been for a long while run by people who also reject the human rights framework.

00:07:09.040 Most of the people, like those in the UN or the State Department,

00:07:11.620 who demand that the whole world respect human rights,

00:07:14.600 they don't themselves respect human rights.

00:07:16.560 And worse still, they can't articulate any reason why anyone actually ought to respect them.

00:07:23.520 Nor can they explain what human rights are or where they come from.

00:07:26.820 The people proclaiming this gospel of human rights have not read it, don't agree with it, don't like it.

00:07:35.480 Which is all the more reason to abandon our colonial ambitions and return home,

00:07:40.020 to rescue our nation from its own collapse.

00:07:43.480 Now, of course, when I say return home, I mean everyone.

00:07:46.360 All of the Americans in Afghanistan need to be brought home,

00:07:48.760 which is a point that the Biden administration apparently thinks is negotiable.

00:07:52.100 Jen Psaki, when asked about the Americans trapped in Afghanistan

00:07:54.900 and asked if she could guarantee that all of these people would be able to leave,

00:08:01.680 well, she very noticeably did not issue that guarantee.

00:08:05.480 Here she is.

00:08:06.460 Can you offer any guarantee to the Americans and Afghan allies

00:08:12.000 that if they remain there past the end of the month,

00:08:15.860 U.S. troops will help them evacuate past the end of the month?

00:08:19.480 Weijia, our focus right now is undoing the work at hand and on the task at hand.

00:08:24.340 And that is day by day, getting as many American citizens, as many SIV applicants,

00:08:29.480 as many members of a vulnerable population who are eligible to be evacuated to the airport and out on planes.

00:08:35.860 And we're going to do that in an expeditious fashion.

00:08:38.300 That is the focus of the president, of our secretary of defense, of our secretary of state,

00:08:42.800 and everybody on our national security team.

00:08:44.900 So that is where we will keep our efforts.

00:08:47.160 So no guarantee, in other words.

00:08:49.880 And the government has been more explicit about this elsewhere.

00:08:53.460 According to The Atlantic, an email was sent out to Americans stranded in Afghanistan

00:08:57.340 telling them they should make their own way to the airport.

00:09:00.980 They're on their own for that part of the trip.

00:09:05.420 And during that process, their safety cannot be assured.

00:09:08.340 The email said, quote,

00:09:09.840 Please be advised, the United States government cannot guarantee your security as you make this trip.

00:09:15.940 Meanwhile, as Jen Psaki stipulated,

00:09:18.700 the focus remains on not just evacuating Americans, but also SIV applicants and vulnerable populations.

00:09:25.060 There are 10,000 Americans still in Afghanistan.

00:09:29.660 The government has gotten hundreds of people out of the country so far, not nearly fast enough.

00:09:34.540 And the vast majority of the people evacuated are not American citizens.

00:09:39.800 They're at the back of the line.

00:09:41.340 As it stands right now, based on the latest report,

00:09:43.880 the non-American evacuees outnumber the Americans by like three to one.

00:09:48.840 It would be too generous to say that the Biden administration is, you know,

00:09:52.700 treating Afghans and Americans equally in the evacuation process.

00:09:56.620 That would be bad enough.

00:09:59.020 It's more true to say that they are prioritizing non-Americans.

00:10:05.320 This was illustrated in stark detail when the first plane took off from the airport.

00:10:10.220 We know what the outside of the plane looked like.

00:10:13.120 But if you look at the inside, check out the inside of the plane.

00:10:17.120 And what do you see when you look at this picture?

00:10:19.200 Not only are there easily 10 times the number of men than women and children,

00:10:25.840 but every single one of these people would appear to be Afghans.

00:10:30.080 The very first people we got out of the country, the first plane load, our first priority were Afghans.

00:10:37.300 I don't know how else to describe this other than the word diabolical.

00:10:41.700 We are leaving Americans to die while carting Afghan citizens out of the country by the plane load.

00:10:47.560 And now we have both Republicans and Democrats solemnly insisting that our first priority is to bring these foreign citizens into our country in a hurry all at once.

00:10:57.900 There are almost 200 countries on this planet, okay?

00:11:02.480 And for some reason, it has to always fall to us, always, to take in the refugees.

00:11:09.440 It's always our responsibility.

00:11:11.060 The UN has said that, too.

00:11:14.320 Well, you got to bring them in.

00:11:16.840 What about everybody else?

00:11:18.400 What about the rest of you guys?

00:11:19.880 What are you doing?

00:11:21.760 What about the surrounding Muslim countries?

00:11:25.900 So these people can go to a culture that is familiar to them.

00:11:32.880 Why aren't you stepping up to the plate?

00:11:34.400 And many of the people who insist that, you know, we need to bring in the refugees, they also believe that America is a racist, oppressive dystopia, not that dissimilar from Afghanistan under the Taliban.

00:11:49.820 So you would think that they would want the refugees to go elsewhere for their own sake.

00:11:53.900 But then that would be to expect intellectual consistency from these people, which is always too much to ask.

00:12:01.360 You know, I don't see why it should be our job, our responsibility, much less a safe and prudent plan to accept an unchecked flood of fighting age Afghan males.

00:12:10.880 And who knows how many of whom are Taliban or at least sympathetic to the Taliban.

00:12:16.320 You know, that's not a safe plan to begin with.

00:12:19.020 And if you trust the government to sift through these people and to go through the vetting process and to do it well, if you trust them, then you just haven't been paying attention at all.

00:12:37.420 But at any rate, we shouldn't even be having that conversation until all of the Americans are home.

00:12:43.040 You know, not one Afghan should be on an American transport leaving the country until every single American has been safely retrieved.

00:12:54.260 And the Biden administration, if it gave the slightest damn about its own people, would be on TV every hour of the day assuring us that they will move heaven and earth.

00:13:03.440 They will do whatever needs to be done.

00:13:05.240 They will drop whatever bombs have to be dropped.

00:13:07.380 They will kill whoever they need to kill in order to get our people out.

00:13:11.340 That's what they would be saying.

00:13:15.980 They would be saying, we're going to get our people out.

00:13:17.720 Anyone who stops us, we will kill them.

00:13:19.360 We will destroy them.

00:13:22.520 Instead, they yawn and say, yeah, well, you know, we'll get a few of them out maybe if they manage to survive the trip to the airport.

00:13:28.020 Because by the way, we shut down our Air Force base before we started the evacuation process.

00:13:35.000 We have to understand that what we are witnessing now is not mere incompetence.

00:13:38.340 This is rather the inevitable result of an American government that doesn't put America first.

00:13:44.460 And that phrase, America first, should not be a partisan slogan or a slogan at all.

00:13:51.540 Obviously, we should put our own people first.

00:13:56.040 Just as you shouldn't ever need to say or clarify that you put your own family above your neighbor's family.

00:14:12.920 Yet, as far as America first, we do need to say it now because our country is run by people who don't understand the world they're operating within,

00:20:38.960 According to Axios, an investigation from the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland

00:20:42.040 Security revealed that the Amazon package containing the dog muzzle was traced back to a credit

00:20:46.560 card in Fiscus's name.

00:20:49.480 So no problem here.

00:20:50.560 It's a former government official in charge of the vaccines in the state.

00:20:55.800 Mailing a dog muzzle to herself.

00:20:59.640 And so stupid.

00:21:02.460 Here's the thing that where you want to say.

00:21:06.560 It's almost hard to believe you almost want to give her the benefit of the doubt because you say,

00:21:10.360 would she really be so dumb as to perpetrate this hoax in the first place,

00:21:21.960 Like, why wouldn't you go at least, if you're going to do this, go to a PetSmart or something,

00:21:52.780 these hate hoaxers, as we have learned time and time again, really are this stupid or maybe not so stupid at all.

00:22:05.940 All that matters is the initial headline, as we have also learned time and time again with these hoaxes.

00:22:13.440 All you got to do is get the initial headline, you become a victim, you get all that attention,

00:22:22.980 If a few weeks later or even a few days later, if it turns out the whole thing was made up,

00:22:27.860 no, it's all of the people who are willing to accept you as a martyr, they don't care.

00:22:41.800 She realizes that the people this is meant to appeal to, for them, the truth is totally irrelevant.
