00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, a new report reveals how men have abandoned the university system.
00:00:05.600 Why has this happened? I think I know why, and I'll explain. Also, Satanists are coming to the
00:00:09.220 defense of the abortion, the pro-abortion people down in Texas. What does that tell us about the
00:00:13.640 pro-abortion movement and our daily cancellation? We will have another exciting reverse cancellation.
00:00:18.420 Apparently, some people are upset because I said that females shouldn't be football analysts,
00:00:22.500 and that, for some reason, has made people unhappy. We'll talk about that and much more today
00:00:26.360 on the Matt Wall Show.
00:00:30.000 You know, what's playing out right now at big tech companies and social media sites sets,
00:00:38.680 I think, a really dangerous precedent. To fight back against big tech's control of the internet,
00:00:43.160 I use ExpressVPN. You ever wondered how free-to-access tech giants make all their money? Well,
00:00:48.440 they do it by tracking your searches, your video history, everything you click on, by building a
00:00:52.900 profile on you, and then they sell your sensitive data, and that's how they make the money.
00:00:56.520 When you use ExpressVPN and you use the app on your computer or on your phone, you make yourself
00:01:02.140 anonymous so that your online presence is hidden and you're hiding your IP address, and that gives
00:01:07.460 you the privacy you deserve. That means that the big tech companies can't make all this money off of
00:01:11.460 you without even giving you a cut of it. What's more, ExpressVPN encrypts 100% of your network data
00:01:17.060 to protect you from eavesdroppers and cyber criminals. What I like most about it is how easy it is to use.
00:01:21.600 You just take one click, click one button, and that's it. So let's stop allowing big tech to
00:01:26.320 revoke our rights to free speech. Why not revoke their right to your data instead? Secure your
00:01:31.360 internet with the VPN I trust for online protection. Visit expressvpn.com slash Walsh. That's E-X-P-R-E-S-S

00:01:43.060 slash Walsh right now to learn more. All right, we are broadcasting live from some random warehouse
00:01:48.860 on the side of a highway. You know, look, there are many mysteries in life, one of them being why
00:01:53.700 are we here? Questions that evade answer, phenomena that defy explanation, unidentified flying objects,
00:02:00.380 for example, though we have an explanation for that. We know that they're aliens, but you get the point.
00:02:04.280 There are many things which happen and yet have no satisfactory reason for them that we can come up
00:02:09.880 with. Here is one thing, though, that there is no mystery behind at all. There is no mystery to this.
00:02:17.400 This report from the Wall Street Journal, which has been making the rounds, has attracted a lot of
00:02:21.060 attention over the past couple of days. And the headline is, a generation of American men give up
00:02:25.880 on college. The number of men enrolled at two and four-year colleges has fallen behind women by record
00:02:31.440 levels in a widening education gap across the U.S. Now, this can very easily be explained, I think.
00:02:38.220 But before we explain it, here's what the article says. Men are abandoning higher education in such
00:02:44.220 numbers that they now trail female college students by record levels. At the close of the
00:02:49.520 2020-2021 academic year, women made up 59.5 percent of college students an all-time high and men 40
00:02:56.560 percent, according to enrollment data from the National Student Clearinghouse, a non-profit research
00:03:00.740 group. U.S. colleges and universities had 1.5 million fewer students compared with five years ago,
00:03:07.160 and men accounted for 71 percent of the decline, which is astounding. This education gap, which holds at both
00:03:13.560 two- and four-year colleges, has been slowly widening for 40 years. The divergence increases
00:03:17.720 at graduation. After six years of college, 65 percent of women in the U.S. who started a four-year
00:03:22.500 university in 2012 received diplomas by 2018, compared with 59 percent of men during the same period,
00:03:28.320 according to the U.S. Department of Education. In the next few years, two women will earn a college
00:03:34.780 degree for every man if the trend continues. Okay, then the article goes on to explain that this trend
00:03:40.440 holds among both rich and poor men, black and white. It's not confined by class or race. Men are
00:03:48.260 abandoning the college system or being abandoned by the system, I should say, or both, and it's an
00:03:54.020 issue that affects men of all types. Now, the piece also acknowledges how the university system is
00:04:00.240 reluctant to see this problem as a problem and is certainly not anxious to actually do anything to
00:04:06.140 increase male enrollment, because that would be politically incorrect. Even the people who want
00:04:10.560 to increase male enrollment still aren't fighting for that result for the sake of the men themselves.
00:04:17.120 So a college enrollment consultant named Jennifer Delahunty is interviewed in the article,
00:04:23.560 and she's of the opinion that we should actually do something to help these guys out, get more guys into
00:04:29.020 colleges. But here's the reason she gives. She says, if you care about our society, one, and two, if you
00:04:35.480 care about women, you have to care about the boys, too. If you've equally educated numbers of men and women,
00:04:42.260 that just makes a better society, and it makes it better for women. So, yeah, so we must come to the aid of
00:04:48.540 men for the sake of women. And this is what someone who basically cares about men in comparison to other
00:04:54.560 people in the university system says. Now, consider that most of the people running the university
00:04:59.760 system don't care at all and don't pretend to. Or, in fact, worse than that, are happy to see things
00:05:05.540 shake out this way. As for why this is all happening, nobody interviewed by the Wall Street Journal seems
00:05:11.800 to have any idea. They're all kind of scratching their heads and saying, I don't know, why aren't men
00:05:16.320 coming here? Let me see if I can clear it up a little bit. To put it as simply as possible,
00:05:23.220 men are declining to go to college because they don't want to pay thousands of dollars and go into
00:05:28.480 debt for 25 years just to hear a bunch of crusty boomer professors and ugly pink-haired wenches tell
00:05:34.120 them that they're the cause of all of society's ills. Okay, that's, to put it gently, that's the reason.
00:05:40.360 And then only to be accused, of course, of rape for kissing a girl at a party and then
00:05:45.220 tried by a university kangaroo court, branded a sex offender for the rest of their lives without
00:05:50.140 any evidence. I think this is an invitation that lots of men are kind of reluctant to accept.
00:05:57.920 And maybe you can understand why. I mean, just as another example, if I need another example,
00:06:02.920 and there are like millions we could choose, but let's just play one. This is a clip from a recent
00:06:07.000 class at Penn State. And you watch this and you tell me if it's any wonder that people aren't too
00:06:13.500 excited about paying a hundred grand for this. Listen.
00:06:16.740 How's it feel knowing that push comes to shove? Your skin's kind of nice.
00:06:23.140 I don't know. I mean, it makes me feel like sad because like God knows I don't deserve it. You
00:06:28.420 know what I mean? Like I didn't choose to be white. So like, you know what I mean? Like it makes me
00:06:33.480 upset that like, you know, my brothers and sisters of like other races can't like experience those
00:06:39.920 things for something that I didn't like, you know, I didn't do anything to like deserve that.
00:06:44.660 You know what I mean? So like, I don't know. It just makes me upset.
00:06:47.620 So, so we're in, this is the problem with white people. The question then becomes is what should
00:06:53.400 we do?
00:06:55.360 So what's, what's not to love there? Um, of course that was, that was race and gender based,
00:07:01.840 not just gender, but pulling a guy up in front of the class. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?
00:07:09.460 Confess your sins to the class. What a shock that men see that and think, you know, I don't know.
00:07:15.800 I don't know if I want to be a part of that. Not to mention men are increasingly noticing that a
00:07:20.180 college education is rarely worth the cost and they can find success in the job market without the
00:07:24.420 enduring, you know, without enduring the financial and psychological toll of sitting through four
00:07:29.560 years of far left brainwashing. Furthermore, even if some of these men could be convinced to go in
00:07:35.280 spite of all this, there really isn't anyone trying to convince them. Now, girls have a whole web of
00:07:41.640 support systems in place, especially in school and public school, in grade school to prop them up,
00:07:46.600 encourage them, keep them going, which is good. What's not good is that men have none of that at
00:07:52.420 all. I mean, they're not allowed to have anything. And as I discovered, you know, if you,
00:07:57.760 if you notice that men don't have their own spaces, then, and you point that out and you complain about
00:08:03.500 that, then that, that in and of itself is sexism. In fact, the entire public school system itself is
00:08:09.200 itself a support system for girls. The public school system was made for girls. It caters exclusively to
00:08:16.120 students who can sit still, learn calmly at their desks, memorize information, remember that information
00:08:23.300 and repeat it during an exam. Now, not all girls can learn this way. There are certainly girls who
00:08:28.700 struggle as well, but it is surely the case that the vast majority of kids who can learn that way
00:08:34.080 are girls. For the boys, what do we have? We have drugs. And if the drugs don't help, they're out of
00:08:39.980 luck. I mean, do we, do we still need more reasons why men aren't going to college? Because I can keep
00:08:45.480 listening. Remember though, this is what male privilege looks like. Of course, the education
00:08:51.820 system caters to girls. They succeed in it. They go to college. Boys are far more likely to be drugged
00:08:58.820 in school. I think like two to, by two to one margin, I believe, or maybe more than that, they get
00:09:04.640 diagnosed with ADHD and put on drugs. More likely to be suspended, more likely to be expelled, more likely
00:09:10.340 to be abandoned by the system. And then they enter a world as adults where they're far more likely to end up
00:09:15.180 homeless, drug addicted, murdered, imprisoned, more likely to be injured on the job, more likely to die
00:09:20.640 by their own hand or someone else's. And they die earlier on average. That's some privilege, all right,
00:09:26.700 isn't it? Now, I say all of this, but please don't misunderstand my point. I am not upset by the trend of
00:09:37.620 young men skipping college. I'm upset by many of these other trends that I just talked about,
00:09:43.380 but not by that. In fact, this is one of the most encouraging things that I've read in a while.
00:09:51.640 The modern university system is a scam. It's a glorified Ponzi scheme. It has built entire
00:09:58.300 generations, robbed them of their financial future, not to mention their minds and their souls.
00:10:03.840 And it's made them dumber in return. It would be impossible to exaggerate the disaster that the
00:10:11.580 system has become. It is an intellectual and moral wasteland. And it's been skating by on unearned
00:10:20.080 prestige for decades. It has made billions by taking advantage of kids who have been told and believe
00:10:26.140 that college is the only path to success in life. It's made billions by scaring people into believing
00:10:34.900 that they have no choice. We know it's expensive. We know you're going to be in debt for 30 years.
00:10:40.680 Yeah, we can't guarantee that you get a job out of college that you couldn't have gotten
00:10:44.060 anyway without the college degree. But if you don't do this, then look at all those people on the street.
00:10:49.460 You're going to end up like one of them. That has been the scam. If men are waking up to this fact,
00:10:56.600 then all I can say is that half of the job is done. Now it's all just time for women,
00:11:01.000 more women to realize the same truth. College in most cases is worse than useless. The more who
00:11:07.220 realize this truth and free themselves from its clutches, I would say the better. Now let's get
00:11:13.820 to our five headlines. You know, if you're pro-life, you shouldn't have to justify the right to life
00:11:23.500 in daily conversation. Abortion is what needs constant justification, not life. 40 Days for Life has just
00:11:29.140 released the perfect book, though, because the reality is that actually you do have to have your
00:11:34.220 defenses and know what you're going to say as a pro-life person, even though it seems like this
00:11:37.760 is such a self-evident point of view. And it is. That's what their book's all about, though. It's
00:11:41.720 called What to Say When, the complete new guide to discussing abortion. This book is an easy read for
00:11:45.760 individuals looking to defend life and convert hearts. A lot has changed, obviously, since abortion
00:11:49.960 was legalized in 1973. What to Say When equips readers with proven approaches to dismantling the
00:11:55.340 pro-abortion agenda. These methods have already enabled 40 Days for Life members to convert the
00:11:59.040 hearts of 221 abortion workers, so you know it works. You've got to know exactly what to say
00:12:04.280 and not say when abortion comes up. This is an invaluable tool, and it's officially available
00:12:09.920 right now, so you don't want to wait to get your copy. I can tell you that I wrote the foreword for
00:12:14.480 it, so, you know, I can personally endorse it as well. And I've also read the book. As a pro-life
00:12:19.900 person myself, I found that there's quite a lot that's valuable within it. So What to Say When,
00:12:24.260 the complete new guide to discussing abortion is available. You can get free shipping and 21%
00:12:27.880 off a signed hardback at 40daysforlife.com slash whattosaywhen. Okay, so here's a story from Salon
00:12:35.420 that I've had here for a couple days, and I certainly needed to mention. It says, as we go
00:12:42.200 back to the abortion law down in Texas, it says, as pro-choice and reproductive health groups are
00:12:47.280 scrambling to make sense of Texas's new near-total abortion ban that went into effect this week,
00:12:52.280 it appears their efforts to skirt the law are getting an unexpected boost from one organization
00:12:57.200 in particular, the Satanic Temple. The Supreme Court on Wednesday night allowed the state to
00:13:02.920 implement its ban, so on and so forth. We know about that. Enter the Satanic Temple,
00:13:06.520 the non-theistic organization which is headquartered in Salem, Massachusetts. Non-theistic in quotes
00:13:11.300 there. That's what they call themselves. They joined the legal fray this week by sending a letter to the
00:13:15.740 U.S. Food and Drug Administration demanding access to abortion pills for its members. The group has
00:13:19.300 established an abortion ritual and is attempting to use the Religious Freedom Restoration Act to argue
00:13:24.720 that its members should be allowed access to abortion drugs for religious purposes. The
00:13:30.480 Satanic Temple spokesperson Lucian Greaves told the San Antonio Current, I am sure Texas Attorney General
00:13:36.680 Ken Paxton, who famously spends a good deal of his time composing press releases about religious liberty
00:13:41.000 issues in other states, will be proud to see that Texas's robust religious liberty laws, which he so
00:13:46.580 vociferously champions, will prevent future abortion rituals from being interrupted by superfluous
00:13:52.120 government restrictions meant only to shame and harass those seeking an abortion. Now, you could say
00:13:56.560 that there's a lot of trolling going on by the Satanic Temple, and it seems like that's how they
00:14:03.020 spend most of their time, kind of like PETA. In fact, there are a lot of comparisons you can make
00:14:08.420 between PETA and the Satanic Temple. We won't get into all of them right here, but that's a show unto
00:14:13.340 itself. But probably the primary thing is they spend a lot of time trolling, so you could say that that's
00:14:17.700 what this is. I don't expect that this legal challenge will really go anywhere, but there's a
00:14:24.780 real deep truth here, and I'm actually glad that they're making this attempt, assuming that it's
00:14:31.120 not going to work, because it's true that abortion is, in essence, a Satanic ritual. The only misleading
00:14:41.880 thing here is the idea that you have to be officially a member of the Satanic Temple to
00:14:47.740 take part in this religious ritual or to see it as such. What is a Satanist? A Satanist follows their
00:14:59.880 leader, Satan, in rejecting God and saying, I am going to worship myself. I don't want God, I want
00:15:08.260 myself. So Satanism, it doesn't have to be. There's the kind of theistic Satanism where we're literally
00:15:17.120 worshiping the devil. There's probably not a whole lot of that happening, not directly. And the people
00:15:23.460 who belong to the Satanic Temple, they'll tell you that, no, we don't sacrifice goats on the altar,
00:15:29.300 spill the blood in honor of Lucifer. They'll be pretty direct and tell you, no, this is just about
00:15:38.240 celebrating us. It's about celebrating our freedom. And that's what Satanism is. So there
00:15:45.140 are a lot of Satanists in this country who don't identify it. People who believe in worshiping
00:15:49.400 the self. That's what leftism is. I have always said that I think leftism and Satanism are
00:15:54.040 interchangeable. They're the same thing. They are both a worship, an elevation of the self
00:15:59.700 above all else, above truth, above God, above beauty, above reality itself. All that matters is the
00:16:07.740 self. Abortion is the high sacrament of this Satanic leftism. What higher sacrament could there be
00:16:21.000 than a woman killing her own child for her sake, saying that I care so much about my convenience
00:16:29.040 and my pleasure and my so-called freedom that I will kill my own child. I will sacrifice my child
00:16:35.560 on this altar, the altar of the self. So they are, it's a long way of saying that I actually agree
00:16:41.920 with them, that abortion is in effect a religious ritual, but it should still be banned because
00:16:49.160 you're murdering a human being. Staying on the same subject here, look, I don't mean to kick a woman
00:16:55.380 while he's down, but here's Caitlyn Jenner's answer on abortion. He's being interviewed on CNN.
00:17:01.460 And we'll talk about why Caitlyn Jenner, polling at 1%, is being interviewed by CNN in the first
00:17:07.140 place. But here's the answer on abortion. Let's listen to this. I am for a woman's right to choose.
00:17:12.820 I am also for a state having the ability to make their own laws. And so I support Texas in that
00:17:22.680 decision. That's their decision. I'm okay with that. But as far as being a woman's right to choose,
00:17:30.600 I don't see any changes in our laws in California in the future.
00:17:35.300 But you're fine with the Texas law, even though you say that you support abortion rights. You are
00:17:40.440 fine with a law that essentially outlaws abortion.
00:17:43.160 I think they have the right in their state to do what they want to do. Now, do I agree with the
00:17:50.460 decision or not? No, to be honest with you, I actually probably do not agree with the decision,
00:17:55.720 but I agree with they have the right to make their own decision.
00:18:00.440 Really the perfect Republican. I mean, he really is a terrible candidate, but the perfect Republican,
00:18:07.640 because that's what Republicans have been doing. Many Republicans anyway. Thank God,
00:18:13.180 not the Republicans down in Texas. That's what many Republicans have been doing on the issue of
00:18:16.840 abortion, especially Republicans on the national stage for decades now. Well, I think states have
00:18:25.840 rights, but then women have rights. And who knows? I don't personally like abortion, but I'm not in
00:18:32.720 favor of killing infants. I'm not crazy about the idea of crushing a baby's skull, personally. I'm
00:18:40.440 not into it. But if that's your thing, then I'm not going to stop it. That's what we get from
00:18:44.380 Republicans. That's what we get from Jenner there, which is cowardly and ridiculous, but it's what we
00:18:52.120 come to expect. The other question, though, is why is Jenner being interviewed by CNN in the first
00:18:57.700 place? And the funny thing is that, you know, a lot of people on the left who maybe, and I hate to
00:19:05.820 say this, but aren't quite as smart as the people at CNN, not that the people at CNN are very smart,
00:19:10.400 but they were upset about this. If you looked at the reaction on Twitter, they were saying,
00:19:14.480 why are you giving a platform to Caitlyn Jenner? You know, you might have the same question. If you're
00:19:19.280 a conservative, you might say, polling at 1% in the read, this person is irrelevant. Why are you
00:19:25.020 interviewing them? Why not Larry Elder? Well, the answer is that this is the version of the
00:19:32.740 Republican Party, this kind of babbling, nonsensical, spineless, gelatinous, jellyfish-like
00:19:43.100 Republicanism. That's what they want to project. That's what CNN, that's what CNN wants to give a
00:19:50.740 platform, too. CNN wants you to turn on and turn that on and listen to Caitlyn Jenner babbling and
00:19:57.540 say, oh, that's what the Republicans are all about. So that's the reason. More Republican reaction now to
00:20:04.320 the abortion law. Governor Abbott was, during a press conference, was asked about the question
00:20:11.540 about what about rape victims? Are we going to force women to carry their rapist baby? And here's what he
00:20:16.980 said to that. It doesn't require that at all, because obviously it provides at least six weeks
00:20:30.980 for a person to be able to get an abortion. And so for one, it doesn't provide that. That said,
00:20:37.880 however, let's make something very clear. Rape is a crime, and Texas will work tirelessly to make sure
00:20:46.800 that we eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas by aggressively going out and arresting them
00:20:53.440 and prosecuting them and getting them off the streets. I don't mean to split hairs here, but not a great
00:21:02.660 answer on that question. It's not really splitting hairs, because this is a question that you need to have
00:21:09.980 an answer to. It's, of course, absurd that the conversation about abortion revolves always around rape, and
00:21:17.720 that when we talk about abortion, rape and incest are the first things that come up, because we're talking
00:21:22.660 about less than 1% of all cases. The vast majority of cases, more than 99% of cases, have nothing to do with
00:21:29.880 rape, nothing to do with incest. 99%, nothing to do with the life of the mother. Okay, so all those
00:21:35.120 categories, that's 1% altogether, less than 1%. Rape, life of the mother, incest. And really, life of
00:21:42.460 the mother actually is a fictional category, because it's never in reality necessary to have an abortion
00:21:47.500 to save a mother's life. She may have to deliver a child early. That does happen. There's no reason why
00:21:51.920 you have to kill the child on the way out of the womb. But altogether, we're talking about 1%.
00:21:57.060 And yet, that's all the pro-abortion side wants to talk about. They don't want to talk about the 99%
00:22:03.380 for obvious reason. It's a lot harder to defend that. The 99% of cases where this is a form of
00:22:10.820 after-the-fact birth control, they don't want to talk about that. Let's talk about the rape.
00:22:16.480 So you do have to have an answer for it. You have to have some kind of response.
00:22:20.460 And you give your response, and then you focus it back to the 99%.
00:22:23.640 Greg Abbott there goes with, well, it's a crime. We're getting the rapists off the street.
00:22:31.000 That's not terribly persuasive, because the reality of especially that particular crime is that you're
00:22:36.120 never going to get all the rapists off the street. The most you can hope for is that after a rape has
00:22:43.280 happened, then you convict the person and throw them in jail. And a lot of times, they still end up
00:22:49.820 back in the street at some point. But they should be in jail. Well, really, they should just be
00:22:53.660 executed. We should be done with it. But before the crime happens, it's very, very difficult to
00:23:00.360 prevent. So you have to deal with that reality. That yes, tragically, horribly, this will happen.
00:23:09.580 What's the answer, then, to the what about rape question?
00:23:12.280 To me, the answer is simple. We do not punish children for the crimes of their parents.
00:23:21.540 Okay, we're not going to execute a child because his father was a rapist.
00:23:26.720 And then you might further say to the pro-abortion side, if you guys want to execute somebody for
00:23:33.300 rape, we can talk about that. I'm not putting that all off the table, but it's going to be the
00:23:37.860 criminal, the rapist, who gets that penalty. Now let's go back and talk about the 99%.
00:23:42.940 All right, finally, on this subject, one more clip I got to play. This is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
00:23:49.160 on CNN, babbling incoherently. Let's listen.
00:23:54.420 So when we talk about the law that was passed in Texas, we know that anti-choice bills are not
00:24:02.740 about being pro-life. Because if they were about being pro-life, then the Republican Party would
00:24:08.620 support, frankly, an agenda that helps guarantee healthcare, that helps ensure that people who do
00:24:15.520 give birth that don't have the resources to care for a child can have that care for a child. So we
00:24:21.460 know that none of this is about life. None of this is about supporting life. What this is about
00:24:26.880 is controlling women's bodies and controlling people who are not cisgender men. This is about
00:24:35.940 making sure that someone like me as a woman or any menstruating person in this country cannot make
00:24:43.080 decisions over their own body. And people like Governor Abbott and Mitch McConnell want to have
00:24:48.620 more control over a woman's body than that woman or that person has over themselves. And what that shares
00:24:55.880 in, you know, what that shares with rape culture is that sexual assault is about the abuse of power
00:25:03.780 and sexual assault is about asserting control over another person. And the ease with which these men
00:25:11.600 seek to do that to other people is atrocious. It is morally reprehensible and they don't, they cannot
00:25:20.020 even begin to understand the agonizing decisions that people have to make, including in cases of
00:25:27.400 miscarriage, rape, and incest. It's hard to know where to even begin. Why are we talking about
00:25:33.080 miscarriage? That has nothing to do with abortion whatsoever. Nothing to do with it. And then she
00:25:37.160 says agonizing decisions. Why is it an agonizing decision, Alexandria? Tell me why it's agonizing.
00:25:42.520 What do you mean? Why is it agonizing? If this is not a person, but a clump of cells, if their life
00:25:47.760 means nothing, has no moral worth, which is what you must believe if you're pro-abortion,
00:25:51.780 then why is it agonizing? What are we agonizing about? What are you agonizing about? Well,
00:25:56.040 you're agonizing. It's an agonizing decision because that's a human being that's being killed.
00:26:00.760 But of course, Alexandria, Cesar, Cortez, like all Democrats, they can't even talk about this issue
00:26:04.480 anymore because they've erased gender. They've erased sex. So you certainly can't frame this
00:26:12.560 as an attack on women because that's nonsensical to begin with, but also because, well, women aren't
00:26:17.740 the only ones who can get pregnant. And you can see how they still haven't figured out how to
00:26:23.940 navigate that because it's impossible to navigate because it's incoherent. So you see how she begins
00:26:29.860 by saying, well, this is an attack on pregnant women. And then, and then she transitions and
00:26:34.340 she says, oh, and all menstruating people. So is it an attack on women or not? But then she goes back
00:26:40.400 and saying this, they want to control women's bodies. I thought you said it's this, this, this,
00:26:44.940 it's not just women. Why, why are you, why are you talking about women? You seem to be suggesting
00:26:48.900 that only women get pregnant, which is it?
00:26:51.600 Uh, and meanwhile, this, this idea of we're controlling women's bodies, that makes no sense
00:26:59.900 for a variety of reasons. Of course, we're not talking about the woman's body. We're talking
00:27:02.720 about the child's body, but also you see how these people, they talk about erasing women. They erase
00:27:07.120 women in general, but they, they simply pretend that pro-life women don't exist, that this is all a
00:27:14.620 plot by men who, misogynistic men who want to control women. Meanwhile, as someone who's been in the
00:27:20.980 pro-life movement for years, you go to the marches, you go to the, you know, the, the vigils outside
00:27:26.700 of abortion clinics, you go to the fundraising banquets, any, anywhere you go, you go to a, to a,
00:27:31.280 you know, a pregnancy resource center, any of these places, it is mostly women, not just there,
00:27:38.060 but they're the ones running the show. The pro-life movement is a movement run and led and mostly
00:27:42.960 populated by women. That's the reality. Okay. Uh, one other quick thing I want to play. The media
00:27:48.520 is now in full-on fear monger mode over college football fans attending games. And they sound,
00:27:55.100 they just sound extremely stupid in the process. I got to play this clip for you. Uh, a guy worrying,
00:28:00.760 this is a doctor who came on CNN to chastise the football fans, especially he's concerned that the
00:28:06.980 football fans are, I believe he says, exhaling vigorously in the stands. Listen.
00:28:12.080 I just can't get over the pictures of those outdoor stadiums. Dr. Schaffner, even if,
00:28:18.160 you know, these events are happening outdoors, are crowds like that safe?
00:28:24.300 Oh, Ana, we wouldn't ever talk about being safe. I don't use that four letter word,
00:28:30.180 but they, these crowds do provide a risk. This Delta variant is so readily spread that even outdoors
00:28:38.380 where people are cheering and enthusiastic, exhaling with vigor. If there are people infected,
00:28:45.460 they can infect people around them. I looked at those television images. Nobody was wearing a mask
00:28:52.640 at all. And I would be very surprised if we didn't have outbreaks here and there across the country
00:29:01.120 related to these, uh, gatherings, these, uh, football stadium events, uh, in, in the coming weeks.
00:29:11.140 Exhaling with vigor. Look at all these people breathing with abandon out here. This is,
00:29:16.060 this is reckless behavior. Who are you to go outside and breathe? We want them to stand,
00:29:21.840 to sit in the stands and just hold their breath the entire time. Why can't they do that? The doctor
00:29:25.920 is wondering, but as part of this fear monger mode, um, you know, there, there was actually good news
00:29:32.420 that we got from, from the CDC. Uh, but it's important to realize how the media and the powers
00:29:39.200 that be can lie while telling the truth technically. So here's a great example. This is a U S news.
00:29:47.660 This is the headline in the first paragraph from the CDC. CDC studies document higher COVID-19
00:29:54.480 hospitalization rates in children during Delta surge. It goes on to say increased transmission
00:29:59.600 of the Delta coronavirus variant has coincided with higher hospitalization rates among those
00:30:03.520 under the age of 18. According to a pair of studies published by the CDC from late June to mid-August
00:30:07.800 weekly COVID-19 associated hospitalization rates among children, adolescents increased nearly five
00:30:12.540 fold. Okay. That's the scary part. You put that in the headline. This echoes what the CDC itself said.
00:30:17.600 Uh, they tweeted this. They said from late June to mid-August, there was a 10 times increase in the
00:30:22.420 rate of hospitalizations among children ages zero to four. Sounds very scary, but then let's go,
00:30:28.600 let's go back to that U S news article a little bit further down. This is what they say. However,
00:30:34.300 the proportions of hospitalized children and adolescents with severe disease were similar
00:30:38.780 before and during the period of Delta, uh, predominance. The study said indicating that
00:30:44.300 the highly transmissible variant does not seem to cause more severe disease in children than previous
00:30:49.700 strains. So why are you saying that the hospitalization rates have gone up? Now, what we
00:30:55.440 discover is that, well, the hospitalization rates is actually extremely low. Thank God, but more kids
00:31:01.840 are getting the virus. So the overall number in the hospital, which is still very low, comparatively
00:31:07.780 speaking has naturally gone up. So the actual headline that you, you could say, even though that's the
00:31:14.960 case, that the actual number has gone up, but the, but the, the, the, the illness is not any more
00:31:21.060 severe than it was before for kids. You could still technically say that the hospitalization rate has
00:31:26.320 gone up, but the media knows and the CDC knows they know that when people read that, they know how it'll
00:31:32.520 be interpreted. That you think that the rate of people, of kids getting sicker, getting more, you know,
00:31:39.300 getting more severe illnesses has gone up. So it's all, it's just a, it's just kind of a, a way of confusing you.
00:31:45.400 The, the real headline, they don't just bury the lead here. They try to make it seem like the lead
00:31:51.320 is the exact opposite of what it really is. The real headline is that after all of this fear
00:31:55.580 mongering over the Delta variant and how we got to have kids masking in schools, we got to rush this
00:32:00.660 vaccine into their arms. It's, it's, it's, it's the same as it was before, which is that it poses almost
00:32:08.140 no severe risk to children at all. Okay. Moving now to reading the YouTube comments. This is from,
00:32:13.920 uh, Henry. I said, he says, I think the idea of white guilt reparations and being responsible for
00:32:20.240 what your ancestors did is unjust and evil. Likewise, I think the idea of original sin is
00:32:25.400 unjust as well. I would love to hear your thoughts. Well, Henry, I think you're correct to link the
00:32:29.540 white guilt thing to a religious idea because it is itself a religious idea. So I agree with you there.
00:32:34.700 The difference though, well, there are two differences. One is that the doctrine of original
00:32:42.260 sin is a religious doctrine. And those of us who believe in it, like myself, we don't hide from
00:32:49.600 that fact. We're not claiming that it's anything other than it. It doesn't mean that it's not true.
00:32:54.380 We believe that it's true, of course, but it's a, it's a religious doctrine. It's part of our faith.
00:32:59.460 So much of what you get from the left, white guilt, you know, this guilt passed down through
00:33:04.940 the blood of your ancestors. They don't admit what that is. If they were to come out and say,
00:33:09.820 listen, this is our religion. This is part of what we believe. I would still say that it's hideous
00:33:14.960 and wrong, but at least you're being honest. So that's the first thing. The other thing is that
00:33:18.580 original sin is all about humanity's fallen nature as a whole. It doesn't single out any particular race.
00:33:25.800 And it also observes something that we all see around us. I think it was C.S. Lewis or G.K.
00:33:30.560 Chesterton, one of the two, who said that of all of the Christian doctrines, he finds original sin to
00:33:34.980 be the least challenging because it's, it's, you see it all around you. It's very clear that we have
00:33:41.280 a fallen human nature. And that's, and so that's, that's the difference. Joe says, Matt Walsh quoting
00:33:49.720 Nietzsche. I'm impressed. I really like him because he actually admits that without God, there is no
00:33:54.000 purpose. Many atheists today attempt and fail to find purpose. Yeah. My ability to quote Nietzsche
00:33:59.160 really doesn't go beyond what I did in the show opening. I mean, I know, I know the basic level
00:34:03.060 of what he, what he, what he believed, but there was a certain honesty, I think, not just with Nietzsche,
00:34:09.860 but with, with atheists of that period and that culture, there was a certain honesty about what it
00:34:16.300 meant. If there is no God, then that means that there is no purpose to life. And, and so now there's a
00:34:22.940 real problem here of like, why are we existing at all? What's the point? And I think a lot of
00:34:28.280 atheists today, as you point out, Joe, they, they want to gloss right over that. They don't want to
00:34:32.540 talk about that. They don't want to even want to, they don't want to admit it's a problem, but it's a
00:34:36.640 major one. Let's see. Drummer Zay94 says, Matt, if you dare ban me from the show, I will reveal the
00:34:47.440 secrets of SBG and the origin of its name. The sweet baby gang has no origin. It has always existed.
00:34:53.280 It will always exist. As I start to develop the, the mythology behind this, this burgeoning cult
00:35:00.080 that we're starting, and we are starting a cult, it's important to realize that we don't talk about
00:35:04.400 the, like many cults, Scientology, go to the Scientologist building. They're not going to tell
00:35:08.400 you where all this comes from, right? It's going to be the same thing with, with SBG. Well, there's no
00:35:13.400 better way to wake up than with your once daily dose of the facts. That's why the Daily Wire

00:36:13.220 cancellation. Today for our daily cancellation, we have another legendary iconic reverse cancellation.
00:36:22.020 Now, if you listened to this segment yesterday, you probably already know where this is heading.
00:36:26.020 We discussed the female sports reporter, Lindsay Goh, who's suffering PTSD after being violated
00:36:30.460 and groped during a live report from a college football game. She decided to do her live hit while
00:36:36.300 90,000 drunk fans were walking by. And a few of them screamed in the background. One briefly touched
00:36:42.140 her shoulder. And this was all a very traumatic event for her. I suggested that perhaps sports
00:36:46.940 reporting isn't the job for her, given that she seems to really hate doing it. I probably could
00:36:50.780 have just said that and left it there and nobody would have been all that upset about it. But as you
00:36:54.480 know, anytime I walk up against the fence like that, I have no choice but to just crash right through
00:36:59.320 it. So I also said that I don't really like female sports reporters and analysts in football.
00:37:04.400 I believe there's been an effort to feminize traditionally masculine spaces like football and
00:37:10.200 female analysts are a part of that. I prefer for men to have those roles. That was my stated
00:37:15.580 opinion. As it turns out, some people found it very upsetting. After the show was over, media matters
00:37:21.500 sprang into action as expected. They posted the clip. They wrote up the article with the headline
00:37:26.800 Daily Wire host. Female sports reporters are an effort to make the game less appealing to the people
00:37:31.200 and the game was invented for. Though I did prefer Jason over at Media Matters who, when posting the
00:37:36.620 clip on his personal page, he instead referred to me not as Daily Wire host, but Daily Wire sexist,
00:37:43.200 which, you know, I'll update my resume with that new title. The female sports reporters of the nation
00:37:47.840 rushed to the scene to try and get their dunks in. You know, they all let me know that my vicious
00:37:51.860 misogyny will not prevent them from continuing to courageously report on sports and so on.
00:37:55.940 And a bunch of men, many of them also in sports media, joined in the dogpile declaring that,
00:38:01.460 you know, they, for one, really respect and admire all the female reporters, unlike that Matt Walsh guy.
00:38:07.180 They're one of the good guys. So please give them a pat on the head and give them a treat,
00:38:10.200 they're saying. Now, I'm not going to restate my original point or, you know, continue to argue
00:38:14.640 in favor of it. I stand by it. I don't feel the need to explain myself again. I said what I wanted to
00:38:20.800 say on the subject. And you can go back and listen to it again if you want to experience it all over again.
00:38:24.300 Instead, I'd like to make a slightly different point. Even if you disagree with my opinion on
00:38:29.200 the subject, and you're free to disagree, it's nonetheless an opinion that lots of football
00:38:34.420 fans hold. Even if a great many football fans, you know, not just during this, even if they won't
00:38:40.880 say it out loud, the fact is that a great many people feel this way. And I know that because
00:38:45.940 I've heard from them, not just during this discussion over the past day, but in general,
00:38:49.960 as a fan of the sport, having conversations with other fans throughout my life, whenever this
00:38:55.680 subject has come up, of, you know, they put the token female down on the sideline, isn't that kind
00:39:00.740 of silly, that sort of thing. I have found that almost everyone I've ever talked to feels this way
00:39:04.760 to some extent. That they're not big fans of the token female, they don't really want females in the
00:39:11.700 booth as analysts, play-by-play, and so on. I've never been around any group of fans in real life
00:39:18.800 where if I said exactly what I said on the show, they would have stared back at me wide-eyed and
00:39:24.940 said, what? How dare you? This is, I can't believe it. This is ludicrous. That's outrageous. How could
00:39:29.540 you say such a thing? I have never in my life ever gotten any reaction like that or seen anyone else
00:39:35.820 get that reaction for saying what I said or something similar. Yet that's the reaction I got on the
00:39:39.980 internet, and from media matters, and from the media. Now the fact that lots of people feel this
00:39:45.440 way, and that it's pretty normal, pretty mainstream opinion in the real world, that doesn't make it
00:39:50.520 right. That's not my point. My point is that this is yet another time, one example of many, where a
00:39:56.560 normal commonplace opinion or preference is treated as if it's not only wrong, but shocking. Now yeah,
00:40:03.420 it's a relatively small issue. You know, I do think it's symptomatic of something larger, which is the
00:40:08.800 erasure of male spaces, and there's also an erasure of female spaces happening at the same time.
00:40:13.440 But the issue of female sports reporters in and of itself, not a big deal. I didn't say it was a big
00:40:17.880 deal. I just said my opinion. But the game, as always, is to treat an opinion, a common opinion,
00:40:24.600 even on a small issue, especially on a small issue, in fact, as if expressing it is tantamount to mass
00:40:30.940 murder, right? So react this way to it, and lots of normal people with that normal opinion will kind
00:40:38.820 of throw their hands up and say, whoa, okay, if it's that big of a deal, then never mind.
00:40:43.600 This tactic, I think, is especially effective on the small issues because most people will figure
00:40:46.860 that it's just not worth fighting about. Okay, if you want me to like female sports reporters,
00:40:50.820 fine. I'll pretend that I do, at least, just to make you shut up. And that's how we normal people
00:40:56.100 usually respond, and it's how we, over time, have been shaped and molded by the media and the mob.
00:41:02.460 Agreeing to stay silent about this issue over here, agreeing to pretend to have that opinion over
00:41:06.740 there, agreeing to, you know, pretend that we're offended by this or that, and on and on. Little by
00:41:12.100 little, playing the game in these seemingly insignificant ways and not realizing that all
00:41:17.780 we ever do anymore is just play the game. And we've lost our authentic selves. We don't even know
00:41:24.140 what we think anymore, what our real opinions are. Because we've been hectored into submission,
00:41:29.900 piece by piece, like getting pecked to death by a million chirping little parakeets.
00:41:34.620 So why did I say what I said about sports reporters? Well, you know, why do I say many
00:41:38.460 of the things I say on the show? Well, because I believe them to be true, first of all. I think
00:41:42.980 it's a point worth making. But also I say it because I know you're not supposed to, right?
00:41:48.500 And I'm at the point now where if there's like a weird code of silence about something,
00:41:54.880 about anything, where we all believe something and feel a certain way or have a certain opinion,
00:42:00.840 but have agreed not to say it out loud or in public for fear of the pecking parakeets,
00:42:05.860 then I will say it just for that reason. You know, you might call it trolling, you might call it
00:42:11.920 contrarianism, you might call it provocation for its own sake, and you might be right, but the
00:42:15.520 alternative is just intolerable to me. The alternative is to just shut up and pretend
00:42:22.780 that your opinions are not your opinions. And so that is why I am not canceled today and instead
00:42:28.700 have once again canceled my cancelers, which is always a fun thing to do. And we'll leave it
00:42:34.220 there for today. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. Have a great day. Godspeed.
