The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 796 - AOC Takes Brave Stand Against Rich Elites By Partying With Them

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the ruling class got together at the Met Gala last night to

00:00:04.140 celebrate their wealth. AOC was on the scene in a tax the rich dress. Was it a courageous

00:00:08.600 and rebellious display by the congresswoman or was it rank shameless hypocrisy? We'll discuss. 0.97

00:00:14.280 Also, a new poll shows that an increasing number of vaccinated Americans are cutting off ties

00:00:19.040 with unvaccinated friends. Plus, Secretary of State Blinken admits that many of those 0.95

00:00:23.660 SIV applicant Afghans were admitting it to the country are not actually SIV applicants at all.

00:00:28.780 And a male MMA fighter enters the ring with a female fighter and then proceeds to beat her 0.93

00:00:34.080 into submission. This is being celebrated as a brave and beautiful moment in sports history.

00:00:38.940 But I have a different take, as you might expect. All of that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:00:51.040 You know, one of my great struggles in life is that I am extremely forgetful. And this is a problem

00:00:56.300 when traveling, as you know, I've talked about traveling the last couple of weeks. I always

00:01:00.340 forget at least five important things. And most recently traveling for the last two weeks, I forgot

00:01:05.980 my relief band and I paid the consequences because we were taking a lot of, you know, Ubers and

00:01:12.480 everything around a lot of a lot of a lot of stop and starts and going around cities and lots of

00:01:17.140 unpaved roads in New York City because I guess they've decided that paving is, you know, just not

00:01:21.680 not worth the time. And and I was feeling pretty motion sick. And I wish that I had had my relief

00:01:27.300 band because relief band is the number one FDA cleared anti-nausea wristband that has been

00:01:31.340 clinically proven to quickly relieve and effectively prevent nausea and vomiting associated with motion

00:01:35.360 sickness, anxiety, migraine, hangover, morning sickness, chemotherapy, and so much more. The

00:01:39.920 product is 100% drug free, non-drowsy and provides all natural relief with zero side effects for as long

00:01:45.300 as you need. And it really does work. I can tell you that myself. So ensure that nausea is never the

00:01:49.340 reason to miss out on life's important moments. Right now, relief band has an exclusive offer just

00:02:04.720 and use our promo code Walsh for 20% off. AOC's abuela, as far as we know, is still languishing in her 1.00

00:02:12.280 unfurnished Puerto Rican shack with water pouring from the ceiling and collecting in tin buckets strewn across

00:02:18.420 the floor. Infamously, the congresswoman would not allow me to step in and rescue the poor woman from 1.00

00:02:23.920 her dire situation. And I can tell you that I am still personally haunted by that. I still wake up

00:02:28.840 at some nights in a cold sweat shouting, abuela, I'm sorry, I tried abuela. AOC, one can assume, has

00:02:35.740 slept like a baby this entire time, on the other hand. Now, I bring this up again because I thought

00:02:41.420 about abuela last night when I saw the picture circulating online of her negligent granddaughter cavorting

00:02:48.000 with her fellow rich people at the Met Gala in New York. Tickets for the opulent event cost

00:02:53.960 somewhere around $30,000 a piece. And if you want to buy a table inside the hall to advertise your

00:02:59.440 brand, something to keep in mind for next year, if you're thinking about this for your business,

00:03:02.900 it'll run you about a quarter of a million dollars. So it is a garish extravaganza, the ostensible

00:03:09.400 purpose of which is to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. But in actuality, the point is to

00:03:14.980 celebrate and revel in the ostentatious wealth of the Hollywood government and media elites in

00:03:20.680 attendance. Now, it may seem rather hypocritical for AOC to show up at this carnival of affluence.

00:03:26.620 But don't worry, the expensive designer dress she donned for the occasion, which appears to have

00:03:31.660 been inspired by a Chick-fil-A takeout bag, had the words tax the rich scrawled across it.

00:03:37.820 Those words change everything we're supposed to believe. Normally, it would be hypocritical for a 0.85

00:03:41.860 woman who constantly rants about rich people to attend a lavish ball with rich people so that she 1.00

00:03:47.020 could rub elbows with those same rich people. But in this case, we're told her attendance is a bold

00:03:52.580 and brave and rebellious statement, all because of those words on her dress. Here she is explaining

00:03:58.100 her fashion choice.

00:03:59.180 My God, tax the rich. What a model, AOC. I didn't know you model as well.

00:04:06.960 Damn. When Aurora and I were first kind of partnered, we really started having a conversation about what 0.97

00:04:13.100 it means to be working class women of color at the Met. And we said, you know, we can't just

00:04:20.720 play along, but we need to break the fourth wall and challenge some of the institutions.

00:04:25.000 And, you know, while the Met is known for its spectacle, we should have a conversation about

00:04:31.820 it.

00:04:32.960 Ah. Yeah, have a conversation. Now, here's a general rule. Anytime somebody justifies a particular action

00:04:41.020 that they've taken by claiming that they've done it because they want to start a conversation, 0.96

00:04:45.700 it means 100% of the time that they're full of s**t. That's what it means. Case in point, 1.00

00:04:51.040 later that night on Twitter, AOC further defended her attendance saying, quote,

00:04:55.540 proud to work with Aurora James as a sustainable focused black woman immigrant designer who went

00:05:01.160 from starting her dream at a flea market in Brooklyn to winning the CFDA against all odds

00:05:06.100 and then work together to kick the doors open at the Met. The time is now for child care,

00:05:11.200 health care and climate action for all. Tax the rich. Quick, quick fact check on some of this.

00:05:17.540 Aurora James, the immigrant woman in AOC's phrase is from Ontario. Now, she may technically

00:05:24.260 be an immigrant, but a fashion designer moving a few hundred miles from Canada to New York

00:05:28.440 isn't exactly the picture that AOC wants us to have in mind when she uses the phrase

00:05:32.680 black immigrant woman. Also, when she says kick the doors open at the Met, what she means is that 0.84

00:05:38.820 she took pictures on the red carpet and then drank cocktails with her rich friends. That's kicking 1.00

00:05:44.320 the doors open. Not exactly Jesus overturning the tables and driving the money changers away

00:05:50.800 with a whip. If she had done that, totally different story. And when she says child care 1.00

00:05:57.300 and health care, keep in mind that health care for children, as far as the Congresswoman is concerned, 0.82

00:06:01.260 can often include crushing their skulls and throwing them into a medical waste dumpster.

00:06:06.860 So other than those minor details, I'd say that her description was pretty accurate.

00:06:10.500 Now, with that established, I think there are a few other more general points to be made here. First,

00:06:17.100 the problem, let's talk about this tax the rich slogan for a second. The problem is that the

00:06:22.400 slogan is, you know, it seems to suggest that the rich right now are not taxed. That's why you say

00:06:28.620 tax the rich, because according to you, they're not. If they were being taxed, then the slogan

00:06:34.740 wouldn't make sense. It'd be redundant. But that's not true. The rich pay taxes. They pay lots

00:06:41.940 of taxes. They pay the most taxes. They pay the vast majority of taxes. Tax the rich? Sure, I agree.

00:06:50.480 Of course we should tax the rich. Now, I don't think there are very many people saying that we

00:06:55.140 shouldn't tax the rich at all. So here's the good news. We do. A lot. That's a fact. If you hear that

00:07:03.060 the rich don't pay taxes and you believe it, that must mean that you, first of all, don't read very

00:07:07.860 much and aren't in the habit of researching claims made by partisans before deciding to believe them.

00:07:13.280 It also means, presumably, that you don't make much money yourself, because if you'd ever had the

00:07:18.160 experience of making a small amount of money and then managing to climb up the ladder a ways,

00:07:23.220 I'm not talking about all the way up to Elon Musk level. I just mean you made a little bit of money

00:07:27.180 and then you had some more success and you made some more money. If you've ever done that

00:07:30.960 and achieved greater financial success relative to where you began, you'll have noticed that as

00:07:37.180 you earn more money, the government takes more money from you. It's a pretty inescapable thing.

00:07:44.940 It's pretty obvious. And at a certain point, you'll observe with alarm, they begin to take so

00:07:51.580 much of your income that you question whether the climb was worth it to begin with. That's the case

00:07:56.500 right now. This may come as a shock to anybody who previously believed that the government rewards

00:08:02.960 higher income earners by politely declining to harvest their income, but that's not the case.

00:08:08.720 That's not even close to the case. As it turns out, the government quite enjoys taking people's money.

00:08:15.060 And the more money you have, the more it will want to stick its greasy hands into your pockets.

00:08:20.500 And when Joe Biden is running the government, the hand may even linger there in your pocket for an

00:08:24.600 uncomfortable and unnecessary length of time. So considering that the rich pay most of the

00:08:31.600 taxes, vast, vast majority of the taxes are paid by the rich. Where did this idea come from that

00:08:38.200 they pay no taxes? Well, here's a good example of how the propaganda works. This is a CBS news

00:08:43.940 headline from back in June. It says, quote, is it, it's just the headline says richest 25 Americans

00:08:50.780 have a true tax rate of almost nothing. Wow. Almost nothing. Almost nothing. What? That doesn't

00:08:58.680 sound fair. Jeff Bezos doesn't, he pays almost nothing. I mean, what is that all about? Well,

00:09:04.680 let's read on. It says the U S tax system is designed to be progressive, meaning that the

00:09:09.000 wealthiest citizens pay a greater share of their income than the less fortunate, but a new pro-publical

00:09:13.880 analysis of tax data on some of the nation's richest Americans comes to the conclusion that the

00:09:18.580 richest 25 people in the U S have a true tax rate of almost nothing. The pro-publical report focuses

00:09:24.680 on what it calls the true tax rate, which it defines as how much in taxes were paid by the

00:09:29.460 wealthiest Americans annually versus the estimated growth in their wealth during that time. For

00:09:35.060 instance, Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos paid $1.4 billion in personal federal taxes between 2006 and 2018

00:09:43.420 on 6.5 billion that he reported in income, while his wealth increased by 127 billion during that

00:09:50.660 same period. By pro-publica's calculation, that reflects a true tax rate of 1.1%. But some,

00:09:58.660 continuing, but some tax experts noted that the analysis compares what they say are apples to

00:10:03.760 oranges, income versus wealth. The IRS collects taxes on earned income and income received through

00:10:09.460 stock sales dividends and other income provided by investments. It doesn't levy taxes on unrealized

00:10:14.740 gains or the paper value of a person's assets. Ah, okay. There it is. When they say that Jeff Bezos

00:10:21.880 pays almost nothing, what they mean is that he paid $1.4 billion. Nothing? 1.4 billion is almost

00:10:32.580 nothing. They justify this claim through a little sleight of hand trick where they equate net worth

00:10:39.440 with income. Those two things are not the same. And it's a damn good thing that the federal government

00:10:45.160 doesn't tax your net worth like it taxes your income, because that would be a disaster for anyone

00:10:50.560 who has any kind of net worth at all. Can you imagine that if that's what you were doing at the

00:10:56.420 come tax time? You had to assess not only your income for the year, but your entire net worth

00:11:03.600 and pay on that? Of course, many of the people in the peanut gallery, not to be confused with the

00:11:10.140 elites like AOC, who shout tax the rich, don't have any net worth, have never owned anything. And so these

00:11:16.840 are distinctions and points that go over their head. Now I say all this, but it's not because I care

00:11:22.980 deeply about protecting Jeff Bezos from higher tax rates. Frankly, I don't care if his taxes go up a

00:11:28.900 little bit. It doesn't bother me. My main problem with raising taxes on anyone is that the government

00:11:35.720 already rakes in $3 or $4 trillion a year in tax revenue and squanders almost all of it.

00:11:44.240 Now, I think it's like it's $3.5 trillion, I think they're up to, or maybe more,

00:11:47.680 that they bring in tax revenue every single year. And yet there are people saying they need more

00:11:55.060 to do what with? What problem can the government solve potentially that they can't already solve

00:12:02.580 with $3 trillion a year? There is no problem that can be solved by giving even more money to this

00:12:11.760 giant, lumbering, corrupt, wasteful behemoth. Raises taxes if you want, whatever, but just know that 0.96

00:12:19.720 it will solve nothing and that the policy is being pushed based on lies and bad faith arguments. And

00:12:25.420 it's being believed by idiots who don't understand the first thing about how the economy works and 1.00

00:12:30.720 don't even understand the distinction between income and net worth. Second point, why do you think 1.00

00:12:37.840 that the rich love AOC? Why do they love the tax the rich slogan? You know, showing up to the Met Gala

00:12:45.700 in a tax the rich dress, that's not like if I showed up to a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in a

00:12:52.440 t-shirt that said, imprison abortionists, which actually sounds like a great thing to do. Maybe I'll do 1.00

00:12:58.120 that. But AOC, you know, she was embraced and applauded. If I did that, I'd be assaulted by security

00:13:04.800 and thrown out into the street. The rich are fine with the tax the rich stuff because many of them

00:13:12.300 really don't mind paying a bit more in taxes. That's not because they're generous. I mean,

00:13:16.880 if they were generous, they'd be forgoing, they'd forgo the $200,000 designer outfit and the expensive

00:13:22.580 costume ball and donate that extra wealth to the poor. If you wondered that, I mean, all these rich

00:13:28.820 people say, oh yeah, tax us, we should be paying more. They say while wearing an outfit that costs

00:13:35.560 more than your house. They could just give up one outfit in their wardrobe and they could put,

00:13:42.100 you know, a family of five in a home and they choose not to do that.

00:13:48.820 No, they go along with the tax the rich stuff and they call for higher taxes themselves because for

00:13:53.780 one thing, it's an easy and relatively cheap way to virtue signal. And more importantly,

00:13:58.500 it gets them closer to the levers of power. So what are the, what do all of the people at the

00:14:03.200 Met Gala have in common? They're all in the ruling class. AOC, the other politicians in attendance,

00:14:09.580 the Hollywood degenerates who are there, all of them are in the ruling class together. They have a

00:14:13.840 shared interest. They have shared goals. And that is mainly to maintain and extend their own

00:14:19.620 influence. Sure. They'll pay a little more in taxes. What do they care? They know those taxes 0.97

00:14:24.800 are being spent by their comrades to advance their own ideological interests anyway, and their own

00:14:30.300 financial interests. So for them, for the people at the Met Gala or the people who were at the VMAs the

00:14:37.620 night before, big, big week for, for Hollywood degenerates, by the way, they could bring it, break out 0.86

00:14:43.520 all their ugly costumes. But for those people paying taxes, that's an investment for them.

00:14:51.100 They get something in return for it. I mean, they get an entire system, an entire political system

00:14:58.360 that works at their behest. That's what they get in return. That's why our objective shouldn't be

00:15:05.320 simply to tax the rich, but rather to dethrone the ruling class. You'll notice AOC, she didn't put that

00:15:11.920 on her dress because that's the last thing she wants to do. Third point, finally, the rich also 0.97

00:15:19.300 aren't too worried about AOC's tax the rich sloganeering because they know it isn't serious

00:15:24.240 anyway. She wasn't the only one who showed up last night with bumper sticker jargon emblazoned on her 0.99

00:15:30.060 outfit. There were plenty of, you know, celebrities wearing gaudy, but basically non-political outfits

00:15:34.140 like Lil Nas X was there. He could be seen here dressed like a C-3PO's gay cousin. But there was also 0.95

00:15:41.760 Cara Delevingne, whoever that is, wearing what looks to be a fake bulletproof vest with 1.00

00:15:47.020 Peg the Patriarchy written on it. And then Carolyn B. Maloney, whoever that is, with equal rights 1.00

00:15:53.680 for women printed on a robe that looks like something that a lesbian Episcopal bishop might 1.00

00:15:57.280 wear. And then Megan Rapinoe with a handbag featuring the words, in gay we trust. You know, 0.90

00:16:04.100 the other thing you see in all these pictures are the wide-eyed starstruck reporters in the background

00:16:09.940 wearing face masks and hungrily snapping pictures.

00:16:14.860 Now the celebrities, they're not wearing face masks.

00:16:18.000 That's actually the greatest hypocrisy on display in this entire thing.

00:16:21.540 None of them are wearing face masks. Why aren't they wearing face masks? Because that would ruin their

00:16:25.060 outfits. Because it wouldn't look as nice.

00:16:30.600 And it's true. You look ridiculous in a face mask. Everybody does. 1.00

00:16:33.660 It's one of the many reasons why I don't wear them.

00:16:41.040 But all the reporters. So the, you know, the servants are all wearing masks.

00:16:47.640 And the reporters, who are also servants for the ruling class, they're all in masks.

00:16:53.720 AOC not wearing a mask.

00:16:55.940 None of the rest of them are wearing masks.

00:16:57.080 This is really the whole thing in a nutshell, isn't it?

00:17:02.020 Because truly, nothing says modern leftism like a gaggle of rich elitists at a $30,000 per ticket gala

00:17:09.660 walking around in hideous designer dresses with shallow political slogans emblazoned across them

00:17:14.660 while an adoring press looks on drooling into their muzzles. 0.95

00:17:19.160 It's all empty.

00:17:20.620 They're all just cosplaying as political revolutionaries.

00:17:23.960 None of them care about any of these issues.

00:17:25.740 None of them believe in anything but their own power and their own influence.

00:17:33.160 And last night was the perfect illustration of that fact.

00:17:38.040 Let's get now to our five headlines.

00:17:45.400 Now a quick word from our friends over at Mack Weldon.

00:17:48.820 You know, I've become something of a fashion designer myself recently

00:17:52.540 with the Sweet Baby Gang t-shirts.

00:17:56.460 And I take inspiration from Mack Weldon in my new role as a fashion designer.

00:18:02.800 Not to blame them for the Sweet Baby Gang t-shirts.

00:18:05.040 I would never do that.

00:18:06.300 But listen, the Mack Weldon, they've got something called the Daily Wear System.

00:18:10.120 The Daily Wear System is a selection of clothes rooted in smart design,

00:18:13.400 made with performance fabrics, and built to work together.

00:18:15.700 From breathable t-shirts and polos to stylish button-ups and shorts, underwear, and beyond,

00:18:20.300 Mack Weldon makes it easy for you to dress for work, leisure, or play.

00:18:23.760 For the Ultimate Lazy Sunday, their Ace Sweatshorts have modern tailoring

00:18:31.640 For weekend travels, both near and far, their silver knit polo and radius shorts

00:18:37.020 are the perfect, high-tech, highly packable combo.

00:18:40.340 They've got it all at Mack Weldon, so you can buy some time this fall

00:18:43.480 with the Mack Weldon Daily Wear System.

00:18:52.840 Mack Weldon, radically efficient wardrobing.

00:18:55.680 All right.

00:18:56.760 Poor Abuela. 1.00

00:18:57.520 Poor, poor Abuela. 1.00

00:18:59.220 I really do.

00:18:59.980 I'm not even joking.

00:19:01.380 I actually do.

00:19:02.620 I think about Abuela regularly, and I wonder how she's doing.

00:19:08.540 However she's doing, she's not doing nearly as well as her granddaughter.

00:19:12.720 I think that could be said for sure.

00:19:16.180 Let's start with this.

00:19:16.960 Secretary of State Blinken testified before Congress

00:19:19.500 about the efforts to get Americans out of Afghanistan

00:19:24.160 and to bring Afghans into this country 1.00

00:19:26.680 because right now everything is kind of on its head, right?

00:19:30.260 We've got Americans in Afghanistan.

00:19:31.600 We're bringing Afghans to America while leaving Americans there. 1.00

00:19:36.300 Everything is upside down and backwards and topsy-turvy.

00:19:40.200 But here is, we'll start with a couple of clips here.

00:19:42.380 This is Secretary of State Blinken during his testimony

00:19:45.360 when he was asked how many of the Afghans that we brought here

00:19:50.800 do not meet the requirements for special immigrant visas

00:19:54.160 because we've been told that these are all SIV applicants,

00:19:59.240 special immigrant visas, and many of them are translators.

00:20:03.760 We apparently had a lot of translators in Afghanistan.

00:20:08.620 Who knew?

00:20:11.200 You know, there's only, we had 2,500 troops there

00:20:13.500 and apparently like 100,000 translators.

00:20:18.380 Every American service member in Afghanistan

00:20:21.480 had a whole team of translators just surrounding him

00:20:24.000 everywhere he went, it would seem.

00:20:25.080 And Blinken was asked about this and here's what he said.

00:20:30.180 Hey, we're there to help Americans get out.

00:20:31.600 How many Afghans not meeting the qualifications of SIV 1.00

00:20:35.480 have been brought to the United States prior to,

00:20:40.240 I want to know how many Afghan citizens came to the United States

00:20:43.480 that had not met the qualifications for special immigrant visa?

00:20:48.540 We're in the process of going through.

00:20:51.280 How many did you bring?

00:20:53.020 You were just at Dulles.

00:20:53.880 How many did you bring?

00:20:55.500 We have, we will have by the end of the month,

00:20:57.780 we will have brought a total of approximately 60,000.

00:21:01.700 That have not met the SIV process.

00:21:04.540 Some of those will be,

00:21:05.800 some of those will have been through the SIV process.

00:21:07.900 All of them, regardless of SIV status, 1.00

00:21:10.260 will have gone through rigorous security checks

00:21:12.060 first at the transit point outside of the United States.

00:21:14.600 It'd be nice if that was done before we brought these people

00:21:17.200 to the United States of America.

00:21:19.000 So he said, he won't answer the question.

00:21:20.560 He says 60,000 total,

00:21:21.920 and he's not going to say how many of them actually meet the requirements

00:21:26.560 versus how many don't.

00:21:28.500 And the actual answer that he won't give is, well, we don't care.

00:21:32.340 What do we care about that?

00:21:33.640 That's not our concern.

00:21:34.760 You know, if we make them citizens, well, they vote Democrat.

00:21:39.400 That's, that's one requirement.

00:21:41.020 We're worried about that.

00:21:42.340 But other than that, who cares?

00:21:47.000 Here's something that he does care about.

00:21:48.600 That is the LGBT community in Afghanistan.

00:21:51.100 He says he's very focused, Alan, on the fate of the LGBT community.

00:21:56.280 Let's watch.

00:21:56.720 As you know, Mr. Secretary, the LGBTQI community in Afghanistan

00:22:00.640 is extremely vulnerable to punitive actions from the Taliban.

00:22:04.380 It's important, in my view, that we take steps to ensure that those

00:22:07.100 who would be subjected to violence or worse

00:22:09.600 because of their sexual orientation or gender identity are safe.

00:22:12.960 The Council for Global Equality, the Human Rights Campaign,

00:22:15.440 and LGBTQI plus refugee support groups

00:22:17.760 released a 10-point plan to protect Afghan LGBTQI refugees.

00:22:22.160 My question is, have you seen this plan?

00:22:23.760 And if so, is the administration prepared to implement it?

00:22:27.180 And is it consistent with the presidential memorandum of early 2021

00:22:30.880 that speaks of the responsibility to help Afghan refugees

00:22:35.160 that may get to neighboring states, as outlined in that memorandum?

00:22:38.280 Well, thank you for rightly putting the spotlight on concerns

00:22:42.300 about the LGBTQI plus community in Afghanistan

00:22:45.280 and the particular threat that they may find themselves under.

00:22:48.560 This is something that we are focused on.

00:22:50.240 I have not personally seen the report that you referred to.

00:22:52.180 I'm going to ask to see it.

00:22:53.980 I'm pretty sure that my team has.

00:22:56.200 But I'll take a look at that myself, and I thank you for sending it to us.

00:22:59.840 I know this is not even really the point. 0.99

00:23:03.760 I mean, there is no point to anything that this empty-headed moron says 1.00

00:23:08.940 in the first place. 0.99

00:23:09.500 But LGBTQI plus, you know, he has to get the whole acronym.

00:23:16.380 That's not even close to the whole acronym.

00:23:18.280 But, you know, the I stands for intersex.

00:23:23.820 So, you know, part of the concern is we're focused on the fate of intersex people in Afghanistan.

00:23:29.920 Is that, like, a major concern of the U.S. government, intersex people in Afghanistan?

00:23:40.060 The fact that the I gets included at all, but it has nothing to do.

00:23:47.000 You know, being intersex, it's a medical condition 1.00

00:23:50.360 that has to do with the appearance of your genitals. 0.86

00:23:55.480 You know, it's a birth defect. 0.98

00:23:58.340 It's a deformity.

00:24:00.420 It's a genetic mutation.

00:24:03.480 And the way that we put them in, the LGBT, it's got nothing to do with it at all.

00:24:09.920 It's not a lifestyle choice.

00:24:11.720 It's not a sexual orientation.

00:24:13.440 It's not gender identity.

00:24:19.080 You know, I often wonder how intersex people feel about being

00:24:25.240 included, of course, you don't hear from them very often

00:24:28.900 because there are very few of them.

00:24:30.260 This is a very, very, thankfully, a very, very rare condition.

00:24:40.720 But even so,

00:24:43.700 if I had that condition,

00:24:47.380 I'm not sure I'd be a fan of just being appropriated in this way.

00:24:51.000 Talk about appropriation and being lumped in with some group that,

00:24:55.920 why am I part of that group?

00:24:59.500 Well, the answer is the reason why I'm asking all this rhetorically.

00:25:04.080 I know the answer.

00:25:05.060 The answer is that intersex people are useful to trans people.

00:25:08.740 And like we talked about yesterday, trans people,

00:25:10.200 the top of the victimhood pyramid and whatever they say goes.

00:25:14.400 And so if you're intersex and trans people say,

00:25:16.820 well, we need you on our team.

00:25:18.740 What do you mean?

00:25:19.160 I don't want to be on your team.

00:25:20.060 I'm not, I'm just, this is a medical condition.

00:25:21.860 Doesn't matter.

00:25:22.420 We need you here.

00:25:23.140 Get over here. 0.99

00:25:25.860 Because of the, of this false equivalency that they can draw.

00:25:31.600 That's what you get on the left.

00:25:32.600 They can never argue about the actual point.

00:25:37.760 You know, they got to go all the way to the rare cases

00:25:40.140 that have nothing to do with the main point.

00:25:41.800 So you talk to anyone on the left about transgenderism

00:25:46.380 within 10 seconds,

00:25:48.380 they're going to be bringing up intersex people,

00:25:50.080 which is an entirely different category

00:25:52.140 that has nothing to do at all

00:25:55.080 with a biological male who identifies as a woman.

00:25:57.480 The fact that some people have genetic defects

00:25:59.320 that affect the, the, uh, the, 0.95

00:26:00.900 the appearance of the genitals 0.75

00:26:01.960 says nothing at all about transgenderism,

00:26:04.960 whether it's valid or invalid.

00:26:06.260 If I'm a biological male,

00:26:10.400 fully biological male identifying as a woman

00:26:12.480 and you say to me, well, how can you be a woman?

00:26:14.960 It doesn't make any sense for me to say,

00:26:16.180 well, but look at these people over here.

00:26:17.440 They have a genetic, they have a medical condition.

00:26:19.880 Yeah.

00:26:20.080 But do you have that medical condition?

00:26:21.260 No, I don't, but they do.

00:26:22.540 And you know, so that means that I'm what?

00:26:26.440 All right.

00:26:27.580 That ain't nothing.

00:26:28.020 What were we even talking about?

00:26:29.240 Oh yeah.

00:26:29.920 Um, intersex Afghans. 1.00

00:26:31.220 Okay. 0.53

00:26:32.080 Let's move on to the next topic here

00:26:33.380 from the New York post.

00:26:35.300 It's the ultimate form of social distancing.

00:26:37.600 It says one in seven vaccinated Americans

00:26:39.260 have ditched pals who've refused

00:26:41.480 to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

00:26:43.660 According to a new poll,

00:26:45.140 the one poll survey from Monday

00:26:46.900 found 16% of respondents have broken up

00:26:49.900 with at least three friends

00:26:51.100 since the pandemic began in March, 2020.

00:26:54.260 Of those who ended friendships,

00:26:55.960 66% were vaccinated

00:26:57.580 and 17% have no plans to receive the shot.

00:27:00.400 About one in seven or 14%

00:27:02.560 of those who've been vaccinated

00:27:04.660 said they dumped their friends

00:27:05.760 because of their refusal to get jabbed.

00:27:08.540 A vast majority of vaccinated respondents,

00:27:10.260 97% believe their former friends

00:27:11.820 are full-blown anti-vaxxers

00:27:13.380 who couldn't be convinced

00:27:14.560 of the importance

00:27:15.140 of getting the life-saving shot.

00:27:17.020 Some of the words being used here

00:27:25.520 don't really work

00:27:26.780 because you say

00:27:27.900 they ended their friendships.

00:27:30.620 There was never a friendship to begin with.

00:27:32.620 So that's one thing

00:27:33.300 you can be pretty sure of.

00:27:35.000 If you have a friend

00:27:36.080 who won't speak to you now,

00:27:38.500 who's broken up with you,

00:27:40.300 I don't know how a friend

00:27:42.660 breakup works in the first place

00:27:45.780 where you're just friends with someone,

00:27:49.500 but do you actually call them up

00:27:50.700 and say,

00:27:51.020 I got to break up with you?

00:27:54.100 I can see maybe that's something

00:27:55.520 women would do, 1.00

00:27:57.740 tending to be a little bit more dramatic

00:27:59.140 about these things,

00:27:59.940 no offense.

00:28:01.480 I certainly hope men aren't doing this.

00:28:04.340 Are there dudes calling up their buddies,

00:28:06.080 hey man,

00:28:06.640 listen,

00:28:07.140 we got to break up.

00:28:07.900 What?

00:28:08.520 Break up?

00:28:08.960 What are you talking about?

00:28:10.360 I can't see you anymore.

00:28:11.720 I got this substance

00:28:13.000 injected into my body

00:28:14.000 and you won't get it

00:28:15.280 injected into yours.

00:28:16.640 And,

00:28:16.860 you know,

00:28:18.340 I wanted to be vaccine buddies with you.

00:28:20.240 I wanted to share the same substance

00:28:21.720 coursing through our veins,

00:28:22.880 but you won't,

00:28:23.720 so I can't see you.

00:28:24.500 How bizarre.

00:28:27.360 That was never a friend,

00:28:28.580 so you don't have to worry about that.

00:28:29.600 If any friend has

00:28:31.120 broken up with you,

00:28:33.500 first of all,

00:28:35.420 to begin with, 0.56

00:28:35.900 that means that they're lame and corny 0.92

00:28:37.020 and who wants to be around them anyway?

00:28:39.760 But that was never a real friendship.

00:28:43.020 And of course,

00:28:43.660 it goes back to the same contradiction.

00:28:46.740 It's one of the things

00:28:47.840 that drives people

00:28:48.880 to break up with their friends

00:28:51.300 or alienate their family members,

00:28:52.940 not want to be around their family members

00:28:55.120 and their friends

00:28:55.620 who aren't vaccinated.

00:28:57.000 One of the things that drives that

00:28:58.460 is that they,

00:28:59.780 who are the vaccinated people,

00:29:01.620 feel that

00:29:02.240 it would be unsafe,

00:29:05.300 that their health

00:29:05.860 would be jeopardized

00:29:06.820 if the other people around them

00:29:09.680 don't also have the vaccine.

00:29:12.240 So their message is,

00:29:14.840 and I've been trying to distill this

00:29:17.040 down to something very simple,

00:29:20.200 to understand their mentality.

00:29:22.420 And I think this is it.

00:29:24.260 This is their message.

00:29:25.760 This is what they're saying.

00:29:26.860 The vaccinated people who are,

00:29:28.140 you know,

00:29:29.980 not wanting to be around

00:29:31.160 unvaccinated people.

00:29:32.580 They're saying,

00:29:33.340 you must get the vaccine

00:29:34.760 to protect me

00:29:36.360 because I got the vaccine

00:29:38.680 and I don't trust it to protect me.

00:29:40.700 I got the vaccine

00:29:43.660 and I've decided

00:29:45.360 it doesn't protect me.

00:29:46.640 And so you have to get the vaccine

00:29:48.280 to protect me.

00:29:50.400 That's what they're saying.

00:29:53.460 There are a couple levels

00:29:55.220 of contradiction there,

00:29:56.240 which make no sense at all.

00:29:59.240 And the first problem

00:29:59.980 is this whole idea

00:30:01.660 that it's someone else's responsibility

00:30:03.520 to make a medical decision

00:30:05.740 for their body

00:30:07.200 for your sake.

00:30:09.080 the idea that they have to make

00:30:11.580 a medical decision.

00:30:12.880 Forget about whether

00:30:13.600 it's the right medical decision

00:30:14.600 or not.

00:30:14.820 It doesn't matter.

00:30:15.380 You're saying

00:30:15.860 they have to make

00:30:16.880 a medical decision

00:30:17.860 about their own bodies

00:30:20.620 for you.

00:30:24.100 How selfish

00:30:25.140 could you possibly be? 0.63

00:30:30.260 And on top of that,

00:30:31.560 you apparently

00:30:33.460 don't trust the vaccine

00:30:35.340 to protect you anyway.

00:30:36.740 So why should they do it?

00:30:41.960 When you say to someone,

00:30:43.120 oh, get the vaccine

00:30:43.740 to protect me,

00:30:45.000 what they should respond 0.99

00:30:46.420 is get the hell 0.95

00:30:47.180 out of my face, 0.99

00:30:47.820 you weirdo. 0.96

00:30:51.380 And if they don't want 0.97

00:30:52.120 to be that rude,

00:30:53.160 then they could say,

00:30:54.080 well,

00:30:54.280 don't you have the vaccine?

00:30:56.140 Well, yeah,

00:30:56.480 I have it.

00:30:58.540 And does it protect you?

00:30:59.840 Uh, no.

00:31:01.720 So why do I have to do it?

00:31:02.880 There's no way around this.

00:31:06.240 They can't get around it.

00:31:08.200 Um,

00:31:08.800 so they,

00:31:10.440 so they simply ignore it.

00:31:12.900 And you could say

00:31:13.640 all you want.

00:31:14.200 Well,

00:31:15.220 uh,

00:31:15.800 yeah,

00:31:16.120 but it's,

00:31:16.480 it's layers of protection

00:31:17.740 and yeah,

00:31:18.400 the vaccine works

00:31:19.340 to protect you

00:31:20.000 when you take it

00:31:20.640 yourself.

00:31:21.440 But if someone else

00:31:22.220 gets it,

00:31:22.540 then you're even

00:31:22.900 more protected.

00:31:23.880 Okay, fine.

00:31:24.460 So let me,

00:31:27.120 I'll add the word

00:31:28.100 significant into it.

00:31:30.000 Does the vaccine

00:31:31.040 offer significant

00:31:32.400 protection or not?

00:31:35.680 And if you tell me no,

00:31:38.200 then I don't see

00:31:39.380 how we could require

00:31:40.660 or demand

00:31:41.860 that anyone

00:31:42.520 put a drug

00:31:43.580 in their bodies

00:31:44.100 that doesn't offer

00:31:44.820 them significant

00:31:45.760 protection.

00:31:48.020 If you say yes,

00:31:49.260 then you're

00:31:49.780 significantly protected.

00:31:51.020 Get over it.

00:31:51.540 Just move on

00:31:51.940 with your life.

00:31:54.460 I mean,

00:31:55.420 that's the most

00:31:56.120 you can ask for

00:31:56.720 in life.

00:31:57.260 The most you can ask for.

00:31:58.860 And even sometimes

00:31:59.520 this is too much

00:32:00.200 to ask for

00:32:00.560 depending on what

00:32:01.040 the risk is.

00:32:01.720 But the most

00:32:02.180 you can ask for

00:32:02.720 in life

00:32:03.000 is that you are,

00:32:04.160 that you,

00:32:04.420 you,

00:32:04.720 you take precautions

00:32:05.620 that significantly

00:32:06.860 protect you

00:32:07.720 against,

00:32:08.280 uh,

00:32:08.820 various forms of harm.

00:32:10.760 There is no

00:32:11.720 absolute protection.

00:32:14.660 The best you'll

00:32:15.640 ever get

00:32:16.140 when it comes to

00:32:16.840 protection against harm

00:32:18.260 of any kind

00:32:19.020 is significant.

00:32:20.240 And sometimes

00:32:20.960 with some forms of harm

00:32:21.800 you won't even get that.

00:32:22.780 All right,

00:32:25.240 this is from the Daily Wire.

00:32:26.080 It says,

00:32:26.460 students in New York

00:32:27.080 City's public schools

00:32:27.980 returned to 100%

00:32:29.720 in-person learning

00:32:30.580 for the first time

00:32:31.380 since schools began

00:32:32.340 remote only in March 2020.

00:32:34.260 But as multiple parents

00:32:35.340 and outlets report,

00:32:36.180 in-person does not mean

00:32:37.220 a return to normal

00:32:38.180 and may end up

00:32:39.180 harming students

00:32:39.820 just as much

00:32:40.440 as remote learning did.

00:32:42.660 Uh,

00:32:43.300 Carol Markowitz,

00:32:44.740 a New York Times,

00:32:45.980 uh,

00:32:46.300 Markowitz,

00:32:46.820 I think,

00:32:47.480 New York Post,

00:32:48.340 columnist with children

00:32:49.240 in NYC's public schools

00:32:50.960 reported the harsh conditions

00:32:52.380 kids face

00:32:53.120 in the new school year.

00:32:55.620 Uh,

00:32:56.380 she said,

00:32:56.920 my daughter's

00:32:57.420 Manhattan Middle School

00:32:58.320 won't be using lockers

00:32:59.480 this year.

00:32:59.960 My son's Brooklyn

00:33:00.660 Elementary School

00:33:01.340 let us know

00:33:02.300 that water fountains

00:33:03.020 will remain closed,

00:33:04.180 no group projects,

00:33:05.420 no field trips,

00:33:06.180 no parties,

00:33:07.120 outdoor resource

00:33:07.800 cess will be masked

00:33:08.860 and distanced.

00:33:10.480 Forget tag or sports.

00:33:11.960 This word is way overused,

00:33:16.440 but how dystopian

00:33:17.220 is this really?

00:33:19.360 The image

00:33:20.240 of masked children

00:33:22.220 outside during recess

00:33:24.400 who can't come

00:33:25.540 within six feet

00:33:27.320 of other kids.

00:33:28.760 What,

00:33:28.940 are you going to draw

00:33:29.280 circles on the ground

00:33:30.340 in the grass?

00:33:32.780 Stand in your circle,

00:33:35.120 give them a ball,

00:33:37.060 they can just throw it up

00:33:37.800 in the air themselves.

00:33:40.540 You catch a kid

00:33:41.340 throwing a ball

00:33:41.860 to another kid,

00:33:43.180 grab the ball,

00:33:44.480 disinfect it,

00:33:46.200 put the two kids

00:33:48.020 in detention

00:33:48.740 in separate classes,

00:33:50.060 is that what we're doing?

00:33:50.600 Yeah,

00:33:50.740 that is,

00:33:51.020 that's what we're doing.

00:33:53.220 She pointed to a health guide

00:33:54.600 from New York's

00:33:55.400 education department

00:33:56.160 which suggested

00:33:56.900 schools cancel sports,

00:33:58.420 theater, clubs,

00:33:59.140 and all music-related

00:34:00.080 activities because children

00:34:01.140 might breathe too much

00:34:02.280 during them.

00:34:04.020 Oh my God.

00:34:05.580 The guide states,

00:34:06.700 quote,

00:34:07.220 due to increased exhalation,

00:34:09.940 oh,

00:34:10.160 it literally says that,

00:34:11.080 okay,

00:34:11.860 it actually says

00:34:13.140 don't do activities

00:34:14.220 where kids will do

00:34:14.860 too much breathing.

00:34:18.020 Exorbitant breathing

00:34:18.740 is a real problem now.

00:34:22.160 Maybe that's something

00:34:22.920 kids will get

00:34:23.300 detention for,

00:34:25.420 get them suspended,

00:34:26.400 write that on the slip.

00:34:29.200 Too much breathing.

00:34:32.400 You know,

00:34:32.980 we should do,

00:34:33.880 we should assign,

00:34:34.700 we should tell kids,

00:34:35.640 this is how many breaths

00:34:36.560 you're allowed to take

00:34:37.260 in school.

00:34:37.620 So let's figure out,

00:34:39.740 this is what we need to do

00:34:41.020 for the sake of the kids

00:34:41.780 and for safety.

00:34:42.780 Let's figure out

00:34:43.660 average school day,

00:34:45.500 let's say it's seven hours,

00:34:46.700 how many breaths

00:34:47.800 will a kid typically take?

00:34:49.060 I don't know how many breaths

00:34:49.840 it is,

00:34:50.300 but,

00:34:50.960 you know,

00:34:51.260 I don't know.

00:34:53.120 And we'll figure out

00:34:53.860 what the average is,

00:34:55.360 give them leeway

00:34:56.300 of like five or six

00:34:57.400 extra gasps,

00:34:58.400 and beyond that,

00:35:00.480 no breathing,

00:35:00.800 we're going to count

00:35:01.260 the breaths.

00:35:04.180 Go beyond that,

00:35:05.020 it's going to be

00:35:05.200 serious consequences.

00:35:07.360 The guide states,

00:35:08.340 due to increased exhalation

00:35:09.620 that occurs during

00:35:10.520 physical activity,

00:35:11.660 some sports can put

00:35:12.540 players,

00:35:13.080 coaches,

00:35:13.420 trainers,

00:35:13.720 and others

00:35:14.080 at increased risk

00:35:14.980 for getting and spreading

00:35:15.780 COVID-19.

00:35:17.340 Close contact sports

00:35:18.300 and indoor sports

00:35:18.900 are particularly risky.

00:35:20.540 Similar risks might exist

00:35:21.620 for other extracurricular

00:35:23.000 activities,

00:35:23.780 such as band,

00:35:24.660 choir,

00:35:25.100 theater,

00:35:25.660 and school clubs

00:35:26.580 that meet indoors.

00:35:28.400 Does it actually put

00:35:29.380 people at greater risk?

00:35:30.320 Do you have any science

00:35:31.060 for that?

00:35:31.540 Any data?

00:35:32.300 Have there been any studies?

00:35:33.260 Do we have any statistics?

00:35:34.560 Are there any numbers

00:35:36.060 you can show us?

00:35:39.420 Kids playing

00:35:40.600 physical,

00:35:42.440 close contact sports

00:35:44.780 like tag

00:35:45.780 or whatever,

00:35:46.800 football,

00:35:47.640 basketball.

00:35:49.220 I mean,

00:35:49.560 all sports almost

00:35:50.680 are certainly physical

00:35:52.440 at a minimum.

00:35:54.480 So is there any data

00:35:55.400 that shows us?

00:35:57.260 Has there been an example

00:35:58.380 anywhere in the world

00:36:00.000 of kids

00:36:01.800 playing a sport

00:36:03.420 outside

00:36:04.180 and there being

00:36:06.560 a COVID outbreak

00:36:08.220 because of it?

00:36:10.220 Has there been

00:36:10.920 any super spreader

00:36:12.180 dodgeball game?

00:36:15.780 I tend to doubt it.

00:36:17.380 But again,

00:36:17.920 they're not allowed

00:36:18.660 to play dodgeball

00:36:19.300 in school anyway.

00:36:20.320 That went away

00:36:20.980 a long time ago.

00:36:25.920 Markowitz wrote that

00:36:26.900 one Manhattan

00:36:27.700 elementary school

00:36:28.320 sent parents a survey

00:36:29.440 asking what they should do

00:36:30.500 in case of inclement weather.

00:36:32.440 One of the options

00:36:33.280 was actually skip lunch.

00:36:35.580 So they have to eat

00:36:36.280 lunch outside

00:36:36.940 and they'll sit

00:36:39.400 on the ground.

00:36:40.860 Some schools

00:36:41.240 have forbidden students

00:36:42.200 from talking

00:36:42.960 during lunch

00:36:43.660 and if it's raining

00:36:46.500 or something,

00:36:46.860 then they're going to say,

00:36:47.280 well, you're just not

00:36:47.740 going to have lunch

00:36:48.120 because that's healthier.

00:36:49.840 Make the kids go all day.

00:36:51.000 That's the healthiest thing.

00:36:52.460 To have kids

00:36:53.160 wearing the face muzzle

00:36:54.220 all day,

00:36:55.380 breathing in

00:36:56.040 their own sweat

00:36:57.580 and dirt

00:36:58.100 and grime

00:36:58.760 and don't let them

00:37:00.440 eat either.

00:37:04.700 On Twitter,

00:37:05.660 she noted that

00:37:06.300 students will have to

00:37:06.880 fill out a health form

00:37:07.880 each morning before school

00:37:09.020 which asks if they're

00:37:09.840 experiencing any symptoms

00:37:10.920 of COVID.

00:37:11.380 And, you know,

00:37:14.220 the problem with that,

00:37:16.480 I mean,

00:37:16.900 of all of these

00:37:17.980 regulations

00:37:18.760 which are all insane,

00:37:21.500 maybe if you don't

00:37:22.960 think very much about it,

00:37:24.060 the one that might

00:37:24.900 sound the most reasonable

00:37:25.860 is fill out a form

00:37:27.580 and make sure you

00:37:28.220 don't have COVID symptoms.

00:37:29.860 I mean,

00:37:30.020 we can all agree

00:37:30.620 that if a kid actually

00:37:31.280 has COVID,

00:37:32.100 he shouldn't go to school.

00:37:33.600 And it's just like

00:37:34.240 if there's any other

00:37:34.760 respiratory virus,

00:37:35.560 he shouldn't go to school.

00:37:36.020 If he has a flu,

00:37:36.480 he shouldn't go to school.

00:37:38.220 But you think about

00:37:39.060 what the symptoms

00:37:39.760 of COVID are.

00:37:41.380 The symptoms are

00:37:42.220 headache,

00:37:43.980 fatigue,

00:37:46.320 runny nose,

00:37:47.560 slight cough.

00:37:49.720 The symptoms are

00:37:50.700 anything.

00:37:52.660 The symptoms are

00:37:53.560 anything other than

00:37:54.940 feeling perfect.

00:37:56.660 If you're feeling

00:37:57.560 anything less than

00:37:58.660 absolutely perfect

00:37:59.960 in this moment,

00:38:01.120 you have COVID symptoms.

00:38:05.920 And what that means

00:38:06.720 is that kids

00:38:07.360 either are going to

00:38:07.900 have to just get

00:38:08.440 in the habit of

00:38:08.860 lying on the form

00:38:09.720 or they're going to

00:38:10.360 get sent home

00:38:10.860 every single day.

00:38:14.660 Speaking of

00:38:15.180 preparing classrooms

00:38:16.180 for COVID,

00:38:17.460 the SEIU union

00:38:19.680 tweeted a video

00:38:20.440 of their COVID

00:38:21.380 buster unit

00:38:22.240 preparing schools.

00:38:23.660 This is also

00:38:24.080 in New York.

00:38:25.440 And let's play this.

00:38:26.200 Here they are

00:38:26.800 preparing the,

00:38:28.180 this looks like

00:38:28.880 some kind of

00:38:29.660 first grade

00:38:30.180 or second grade

00:38:32.920 classroom.

00:38:35.180 Preparing the

00:38:36.000 classroom for

00:38:37.280 kids coming.

00:38:38.360 What is he doing

00:38:40.080 right now?

00:38:41.040 Does he even

00:38:41.720 know what he's

00:38:42.220 doing?

00:38:42.920 Looks like he's

00:38:43.580 just spraying

00:38:44.020 pesticide into

00:38:44.920 the air.

00:38:45.260 It would not

00:38:45.700 surprise me if

00:38:46.320 that's what

00:38:46.600 they're doing.

00:38:47.580 You have kids

00:38:48.100 dropping dead

00:38:48.740 from pesticides

00:38:49.380 sprayed in the

00:38:50.060 air.

00:38:51.540 That's not

00:38:52.080 actually what

00:38:52.460 they're doing.

00:38:52.940 YouTube,

00:38:53.340 don't ban me.

00:38:54.760 I don't know.

00:38:55.460 They're spraying

00:38:55.880 some sort of

00:38:56.900 disinfectant into

00:38:57.720 the air.

00:38:59.180 Accomplish

00:38:59.780 absolutely nothing.

00:39:00.740 But it's all

00:39:02.940 part of this

00:39:03.560 one of the

00:39:05.620 real diseases

00:39:06.200 in our culture

00:39:06.800 right now.

00:39:07.240 The do something

00:39:08.320 disease.

00:39:08.980 And that's what

00:39:09.200 all of this is

00:39:09.860 about.

00:39:10.320 Well, do

00:39:10.720 something.

00:39:11.980 Anything at

00:39:12.400 all.

00:39:14.220 And so what

00:39:14.580 you find in

00:39:15.020 school is that

00:39:15.700 they're doing

00:39:16.260 a lot of

00:39:16.820 somethings.

00:39:17.580 They're just

00:39:17.920 doing things

00:39:19.080 ostensibly in

00:39:20.840 response to

00:39:21.480 COVID.

00:39:22.100 None of it

00:39:22.700 will have any

00:39:23.900 positive health

00:39:24.940 effect at all.

00:39:25.660 None of it

00:39:26.220 will prevent

00:39:26.680 COVID.

00:39:27.020 you still

00:39:30.280 see now

00:39:31.020 even outside

00:39:32.740 the classroom.

00:39:34.240 I saw a lot

00:39:35.160 of this

00:39:35.360 traveling around

00:39:35.860 the country.

00:39:37.340 There's a little

00:39:38.020 bit less of it

00:39:38.560 here in Nashville,

00:39:39.140 but in other

00:39:39.640 cities.

00:39:40.840 You go to a

00:39:41.700 store, the

00:39:42.200 cashier is

00:39:42.880 encased in

00:39:43.880 glass like

00:39:44.540 Hannibal Lecter.

00:39:46.760 We already

00:39:47.440 know that

00:39:47.860 doesn't do

00:39:48.300 anything.

00:39:48.880 That doesn't

00:39:49.160 stop the

00:39:49.620 spread of

00:39:49.940 COVID.

00:39:51.160 If anything,

00:39:51.840 it makes it

00:39:52.220 worse because

00:39:52.760 now you've

00:39:53.140 got an

00:39:53.420 extra surface

00:39:54.280 that can

00:39:55.340 get dirty.

00:39:57.020 And also

00:40:00.020 it restricts

00:40:00.720 the flow

00:40:01.540 of air

00:40:02.280 and circulation

00:40:03.380 of air.

00:40:04.000 You want

00:40:04.220 greater air

00:40:05.020 circulation.

00:40:06.020 You don't

00:40:06.180 put more

00:40:06.760 obstacles in

00:40:07.480 place restricting

00:40:08.460 air flow.

00:40:10.320 And we

00:40:10.920 know that,

00:40:12.180 and yet they

00:40:12.580 just continue

00:40:13.100 to do it

00:40:13.480 because it's

00:40:13.900 something.

00:40:16.000 All right,

00:40:16.240 let's move

00:40:16.600 on now to

00:40:17.340 reading the

00:40:18.520 YouTube comments.

00:40:21.440 Andrew

00:40:21.920 Clavin,

00:40:22.900 I believe

00:40:24.100 this is an

00:40:24.520 imposter,

00:40:25.240 says,

00:40:25.660 Matt,

00:40:25.920 I agreed

00:40:26.400 when you

00:40:26.680 warned

00:40:26.960 against

00:40:27.280 Republicans

00:40:27.780 using

00:40:28.180 Jenner

00:40:28.540 to call

00:40:28.900 Dems

00:40:29.340 transphobes

00:40:30.220 while we're

00:40:30.600 the real

00:40:31.040 inclusivists.

00:40:33.920 There's a

00:40:34.180 word.

00:40:35.220 How is that

00:40:35.620 different from

00:40:36.020 saying the

00:40:36.720 licentious

00:40:37.320 VMAs are

00:40:38.080 old hat

00:40:38.780 while conservatives

00:40:39.520 are the

00:40:39.960 real revolutionaries?

00:40:41.460 In both

00:40:41.840 cases,

00:40:42.200 an arbitrary

00:40:42.660 third value,

00:40:43.720 inclusivity,

00:40:44.360 or rebelliousness

00:40:45.080 is claimed as

00:40:45.740 a way to

00:40:46.080 elevate our

00:40:46.540 standing,

00:40:47.120 and in both

00:40:47.520 cases,

00:40:47.900 it distracts

00:40:48.460 from our

00:40:48.720 true values

00:40:49.300 and motivations.

00:40:50.460 Please don't

00:40:51.000 ban me.

00:40:52.920 Well,

00:40:53.460 I would never

00:40:53.820 ban the

00:40:54.820 real Andrew

00:40:55.560 claim from

00:40:55.920 the show,

00:40:56.240 but you,

00:40:56.660 the imposter, 0.94

00:40:57.420 are banned,

00:40:58.020 sir.

00:40:58.240 Because,

00:40:59.320 first of all,

00:41:00.040 I'm not proposing

00:41:00.860 rebelliousness as

00:41:01.880 a value.

00:41:02.500 I'm observing the

00:41:03.260 fact that this

00:41:05.840 debauchery is

00:41:06.900 meant to be

00:41:07.680 rebellious,

00:41:08.280 and instead it

00:41:09.200 is tired and

00:41:10.080 dreary and

00:41:10.640 boring,

00:41:10.940 and I think

00:41:11.860 that's a

00:41:12.240 worthwhile point

00:41:13.700 to make.

00:41:16.500 Because it is

00:41:17.820 sold as

00:41:18.780 something exciting

00:41:20.280 and different,

00:41:20.920 and kids

00:41:23.500 are told

00:41:23.880 this.

00:41:25.940 You listen

00:41:26.440 to this

00:41:26.800 music and

00:41:27.560 behave this

00:41:28.220 certain way

00:41:28.980 that you're

00:41:31.260 going to be

00:41:32.060 taking down

00:41:33.140 the system,

00:41:33.900 tearing down

00:41:34.480 the patriarchy

00:41:35.220 like the woman 0.78

00:41:36.100 had on her

00:41:36.540 dress at the

00:41:37.000 Met Gala.

00:41:39.720 In reality,

00:41:40.740 this is the

00:41:41.300 system.

00:41:42.600 You're doing

00:41:43.260 exactly as

00:41:43.860 you're told.

00:41:44.800 You're doing

00:41:45.160 exactly as the

00:41:45.920 people in

00:41:46.480 charge,

00:41:46.920 people in

00:41:47.640 positions of

00:41:48.280 power want

00:41:49.280 you to do.

00:41:50.920 And also

00:41:53.540 it's dull

00:41:54.380 and dreary

00:41:54.740 and boring,

00:41:55.140 like I said.

00:41:56.480 So I think

00:41:57.360 that's an

00:41:57.940 important point.

00:41:59.760 And second,

00:42:02.320 you know,

00:42:02.780 so-called

00:42:03.480 traditional values

00:42:04.500 are revolutionary

00:42:05.760 and rebellious

00:42:06.780 in our age.

00:42:07.860 That is another

00:42:08.560 statement of

00:42:10.300 fact, and I

00:42:10.740 think it's an

00:42:11.080 important one.

00:42:12.040 That doesn't

00:42:12.620 make them

00:42:12.960 right, of

00:42:13.540 course.

00:42:14.620 So I take

00:42:15.260 your point

00:42:15.600 there, and

00:42:15.880 it's not like

00:42:16.380 that's my

00:42:16.780 sole argument

00:42:17.560 in favor of

00:42:18.180 them.

00:42:18.300 I'm not saying

00:42:18.620 that's the

00:42:18.940 only thing

00:42:19.580 that we should

00:42:20.220 be saying

00:42:20.600 in favor

00:42:21.000 of so-called

00:42:21.540 traditional

00:42:21.920 values.

00:42:23.000 It is,

00:42:23.740 again, an

00:42:24.000 observation.

00:42:25.840 But it is

00:42:26.600 also true

00:42:27.120 that young

00:42:27.680 people have

00:42:28.220 a natural

00:42:28.800 yearning to

00:42:29.940 rebel against

00:42:31.080 the standing

00:42:31.820 order, and

00:42:33.120 I think

00:42:33.620 that in

00:42:34.320 this case

00:42:34.800 that is

00:42:35.120 something worth

00:42:35.720 harnessing.

00:42:37.240 It can be

00:42:39.640 harnessed in

00:42:40.300 negative ways,

00:42:41.280 certainly.

00:42:43.820 But it's a

00:42:44.560 way of taking

00:42:45.220 what can

00:42:46.160 be a

00:42:48.620 positive

00:42:49.080 attribute and

00:42:50.000 inclination

00:42:50.560 and instinct

00:42:51.340 and directing

00:42:52.700 it towards

00:42:53.740 positive

00:42:54.220 ends.

00:42:57.320 And we

00:42:57.820 do that a

00:42:58.240 lot with

00:42:58.580 kids on a

00:42:59.240 day-to-day

00:42:59.580 basis, just

00:43:00.100 as parents

00:43:00.620 we do

00:43:00.940 that.

00:43:01.820 That is so

00:43:02.460 much of

00:43:02.900 parenting,

00:43:03.340 that's so

00:43:03.640 much of

00:43:04.060 raising the

00:43:04.540 next generation

00:43:05.240 is taking

00:43:06.540 all of this

00:43:07.340 excitement and

00:43:08.260 enthusiasm that

00:43:09.320 kids naturally

00:43:10.300 have, and

00:43:11.600 you don't want

00:43:12.140 to simply

00:43:12.500 tamp it

00:43:12.980 down.

00:43:14.200 You don't

00:43:14.700 want to

00:43:14.900 drug them

00:43:15.300 into 0.77

00:43:15.460 submission like

00:43:15.960 they do

00:43:16.200 in schools.

00:43:16.700 but you

00:43:18.820 also want

00:43:19.120 to make

00:43:19.260 sure you

00:43:19.500 harness it

00:43:20.260 in the

00:43:21.100 correct way.

00:43:26.280 That's so

00:43:26.840 much of

00:43:27.140 parenting, and

00:43:27.600 I think that

00:43:27.980 that's part of

00:43:28.760 what I'm

00:43:28.940 talking about

00:43:29.260 here.

00:43:30.080 All right.

00:43:31.860 Let's see.

00:43:33.840 Username

00:43:34.200 Person says,

00:43:35.540 Matt, just so

00:43:36.220 you know, many

00:43:37.640 people in the

00:43:37.980 black community

00:43:38.460 are against

00:43:39.200 Lil Nas X's

00:43:40.300 antics.

00:43:40.860 They're trying to

00:43:41.360 push this stuff 0.73

00:43:42.040 on the black 0.95

00:43:42.660 community, and

00:43:44.180 many are

00:43:44.600 pushing back,

00:43:45.560 but it

00:43:46.160 doesn't get

00:43:46.740 media attention.

00:43:49.940 Yeah, this is

00:43:50.540 something that

00:43:51.380 I often hear.

00:43:53.960 I mean,

00:43:54.140 traditionally, and

00:43:56.220 by the way,

00:43:56.580 unfortunately, you

00:43:57.060 are banned for

00:43:58.060 the uncreative

00:43:58.860 username.

00:43:59.500 I mean, put a

00:44:00.040 little bit more

00:44:00.360 effort there.

00:44:00.720 You know that

00:44:01.040 I'm bringing the

00:44:01.440 comments on

00:44:02.500 air, and you

00:44:03.200 go with

00:44:03.460 person.

00:44:04.800 So you can

00:44:05.320 make another

00:44:05.660 new username

00:44:06.040 and come

00:44:06.320 back.

00:44:08.620 But as to

00:44:09.220 your point,

00:44:09.780 yeah, this is

00:44:10.220 something traditionally

00:44:12.120 it's been thought

00:44:13.280 that,

00:44:13.680 you know, the

00:44:15.180 black community,

00:44:16.260 immigrant

00:44:16.560 communities,

00:44:18.880 you know, the

00:44:19.140 Hispanic community

00:44:19.920 tend to be more

00:44:21.740 culturally conservative.

00:44:26.420 Certainly more

00:44:27.280 so than, you

00:44:28.340 know, your white

00:44:28.900 liberal yuppies.

00:44:32.600 And yet, the

00:44:34.600 black community

00:44:35.180 and immigrant

00:44:35.740 communities, by

00:44:38.120 and large, vote

00:44:38.680 Democrat.

00:44:39.280 And so there is

00:44:39.920 that real

00:44:41.420 disconnect there.

00:44:42.160 All right, let's

00:44:44.080 see, what else

00:44:44.820 do we got?

00:44:48.720 As we were

00:44:49.240 talking about

00:44:49.800 cities, so this

00:44:50.460 is one, you

00:44:51.480 know, I was

00:44:51.900 saying I can't

00:44:52.340 imagine how

00:44:52.720 anyone would

00:44:53.160 choose to live

00:44:53.620 in the city.

00:44:54.120 And a lot of

00:44:54.520 comments about

00:44:54.920 that.

00:44:55.120 I'll read one

00:44:55.700 representative's

00:44:56.500 comment here.

00:44:57.240 This is from

00:44:57.580 Joe Schneider,

00:44:58.220 says, I live in

00:44:58.880 NYC, and I can

00:45:00.180 attest that your

00:45:00.700 description of our

00:45:01.320 lifestyle, even as

00:45:02.080 a tourist, is

00:45:03.180 accurate.

00:45:04.140 We used to have

00:45:04.680 an incredible

00:45:05.040 amount of

00:45:05.540 culture and

00:45:06.000 artistry that

00:45:06.580 helped offset the

00:45:07.360 side you're

00:45:07.740 describing.

00:45:08.820 And for a

00:45:09.120 couple of

00:45:09.340 decades, we'd

00:45:09.880 gotten our crime

00:45:10.540 under control, but

00:45:11.400 with COVID and

00:45:12.180 de Blasio slash

00:45:13.060 modern-day

00:45:13.440 leftism, now

00:45:14.440 it's just an

00:45:14.840 expensive, urine-

00:45:15.880 smelling, crime-ridden 1.00

00:45:17.340 shithole. 1.00

00:45:17.900 Yeah, and there 0.98

00:45:20.020 were other

00:45:20.300 comments, a lot

00:45:21.620 of comments

00:45:21.900 saying that,

00:45:22.520 saying, yeah,

00:45:22.840 this is exactly

00:45:23.360 what it's like

00:45:23.900 in New York

00:45:24.320 and many of

00:45:25.100 these other

00:45:25.320 cities, Los

00:45:25.800 Angeles, San

00:45:26.380 Francisco, and

00:45:27.100 Philadelphia,

00:45:28.060 Baltimore, on

00:45:29.080 and on.

00:45:31.620 A lot of

00:45:32.060 comments like

00:45:32.380 that, other

00:45:32.980 comments saying,

00:45:33.520 well, hey, you're

00:45:34.780 telling people to

00:45:35.260 get out of the

00:45:35.740 cities, and that

00:45:36.260 means that we're

00:45:37.040 abandoning the

00:45:37.860 cities to this

00:45:38.660 fate.

00:45:39.500 Shouldn't we

00:45:39.940 stay in there

00:45:40.720 and fight to

00:45:41.860 turn it around?

00:45:43.700 I guess my

00:45:44.320 answer to that

00:45:44.920 would be, first

00:45:46.720 of all, you have

00:45:47.020 to make whatever

00:45:47.460 choice you think

00:45:48.040 is right for

00:45:48.480 you, but if

00:45:50.380 you're a single

00:45:51.140 person, and you

00:45:54.380 feel like you

00:45:54.820 want to stay in

00:45:55.520 the city

00:45:55.820 environment, partly

00:45:57.740 for this reason,

00:45:59.040 to be a shining

00:46:00.300 light in the

00:46:00.860 darkness, it's

00:46:03.060 not a choice I

00:46:03.660 would make, but I

00:46:04.820 can respect that

00:46:05.380 choice.

00:46:06.840 I think, though,

00:46:07.500 if you have

00:46:07.800 kids, if you're

00:46:09.300 a family, and I

00:46:10.640 get that there

00:46:11.040 are many people

00:46:11.660 living in cities

00:46:13.220 right now with

00:46:13.780 families, and

00:46:14.680 they'd like to

00:46:15.180 leave, but they

00:46:15.580 can't, so I

00:46:16.200 understand that.

00:46:17.460 But if you

00:46:18.300 have kids, if

00:46:18.780 you have a

00:46:19.020 family, and

00:46:19.460 there's an

00:46:19.720 opportunity to

00:46:20.480 leave, and 0.96

00:46:20.780 you're able

00:46:21.220 to, then I

00:46:24.320 think you have

00:46:24.820 to.

00:46:25.000 It's the same 0.53

00:46:25.620 thing I say

00:46:25.960 with public

00:46:26.340 schools.

00:46:28.580 It's one thing

00:46:29.380 if you want to

00:46:30.060 fight, if you

00:46:30.580 want to put

00:46:30.920 yourself sort

00:46:31.640 of behind enemy

00:46:32.340 lines, and you

00:46:33.900 want to subject

00:46:34.760 yourself to that,

00:46:36.900 but you're also

00:46:37.880 asking your kids,

00:46:39.380 and in public

00:46:39.760 schools, your

00:46:40.200 kids are the

00:46:40.540 only ones doing

00:46:41.180 the fighting,

00:46:42.240 which is why

00:46:44.060 if there's an

00:46:44.420 option to get

00:46:44.940 them out, I

00:46:45.380 think you got

00:46:46.580 to, and

00:46:48.480 it's the same

00:46:48.840 thing with

00:46:49.240 the cities.

00:46:51.280 It's also, I'm

00:46:52.380 afraid to say,

00:46:53.060 probably a losing

00:46:53.700 battle.

00:46:55.620 The corruption

00:46:56.360 and the rot

00:46:57.320 and the decay

00:46:58.160 in many of

00:46:59.100 our cities is

00:47:00.300 so deep, and

00:47:02.480 has been

00:47:02.760 building for

00:47:03.480 so long, that

00:47:04.740 you stay there

00:47:08.360 to try to turn

00:47:08.880 it around, I

00:47:09.600 don't know that

00:47:09.940 you're going to

00:47:10.120 be able to turn

00:47:10.600 it around before

00:47:11.160 it destroys you.

00:47:12.440 So that's the

00:47:12.800 real thing you

00:47:13.200 have to grapple

00:47:14.400 with.

00:47:15.060 But thanks for

00:47:15.740 all those

00:47:15.940 comments.

00:47:16.180 All right.

00:47:16.580 There is no

00:47:17.240 issue more

00:47:17.800 pressing than

00:47:18.460 the blatant

00:47:19.040 authoritarianism

00:47:19.840 being exercised

00:47:20.700 by the current

00:47:21.180 administration.

00:47:21.860 Vaccine mandates

00:47:22.600 are un-American 0.97

00:47:23.620 and the antithesis

00:47:24.520 of freedom, it's

00:47:25.420 wrong, it's

00:47:25.920 affecting all of

00:47:26.600 us, and we're

00:47:27.300 ready to talk

00:47:28.000 about it tonight.

00:47:29.200 That's why you

00:47:29.640 should tune in to

00:47:30.280 catch an all-new

00:47:30.880 episode of

00:47:31.560 Backstage, where

00:47:32.880 we will discuss

00:47:33.540 what's happening

00:47:34.100 and how we

00:47:34.680 fight against

00:47:35.120 it.

00:47:36.420 That's going to

00:47:36.920 be, of course,

00:47:37.380 you know,

00:47:37.580 Backstage, like

00:47:38.560 every episode,

00:47:39.040 myself, Ben Shapiro,

00:47:39.860 Jeremy Boring,

00:47:40.360 Michael Knowles,

00:47:40.800 and Andrew

00:47:41.000 Klaben, with a

00:47:42.380 really important

00:47:42.740 issue to discuss

00:47:43.400 tonight.

00:47:43.820 It streams

00:47:44.160 tonight at

00:47:44.560 7 o'clock

00:47:45.020 Eastern, 6 p.m.

00:47:46.100 Central, on

00:47:46.580 DailyWire.com and

00:47:47.780 on our YouTube

00:47:48.260 channel, Daily

00:47:48.980 Wire.

00:47:49.340 You don't want

00:47:49.800 to miss it,

00:47:50.260 believe me.

00:47:51.100 And you also

00:47:51.480 don't want to

00:47:51.820 miss the new

00:47:53.100 Sweet Baby Gang

00:47:54.180 t-shirts, which

00:47:55.220 will couple well

00:47:56.160 with the new

00:47:56.740 Sweet Baby Gang

00:47:57.380 anthem that you

00:47:58.080 can now hear on

00:47:58.880 the show every

00:47:59.380 day.

00:47:59.840 As expected, the

00:48:00.900 t-shirts are

00:48:01.580 selling out fast,

00:48:02.780 so you've got to

00:48:03.160 click the link in

00:48:03.760 the description to

00:48:04.340 go order yours

00:48:05.160 today.

00:48:05.520 It is a

00:48:05.920 masterpiece of

00:48:06.660 design.

00:48:07.180 I finally

00:48:07.540 have, I

00:48:10.200 had to, you

00:48:10.860 know, I

00:48:10.960 actually had to

00:48:11.320 ask to get my

00:48:11.880 own too, but I

00:48:14.160 should be wearing

00:48:15.480 it.

00:48:15.640 Maybe I'll wear

00:48:16.020 it tomorrow on

00:48:16.700 the show, but

00:48:17.060 that is, that's

00:48:18.100 the official

00:48:18.500 Sweet Baby Gang

00:48:19.060 t-shirt.

00:48:21.720 If you haven't

00:48:22.460 gotten it yet, I

00:48:24.060 know who you

00:48:24.540 are.

00:48:25.100 I'm keeping

00:48:25.620 track of

00:48:26.080 everybody who

00:48:26.560 claims to be a

00:48:27.080 gang member and

00:48:27.620 has not gotten

00:48:28.160 that t-shirt.

00:48:29.340 And you don't

00:48:29.900 want to know what

00:48:30.260 the consequences

00:48:30.740 are, because

00:48:31.620 there are none.

00:48:32.320 But still, go

00:48:33.440 get the t-shirt

00:48:34.240 today.

00:48:34.680 Click the link in

00:48:35.700 the description.

00:48:36.380 Get your Sweet 0.97

00:48:36.760 Baby Gang

00:48:37.040 t-shirt.

00:48:37.580 Now let's get to

00:48:38.140 our daily

00:48:38.440 cancellation.

00:48:42.840 Today for our

00:48:43.480 daily cancellation,

00:48:44.160 we turn to the

00:48:44.780 story of MMA

00:48:45.480 fighter and

00:48:46.180 woman beater

00:48:46.840 Alana McLaughlin.

00:48:48.280 Now the most

00:48:48.680 important thing to

00:48:49.180 know about

00:48:49.520 McLaughlin is that

00:48:50.400 he is a male.

00:48:51.320 He's also former

00:48:52.280 Army Special

00:48:52.880 Forces, but

00:48:54.220 mostly he's a

00:48:55.160 male.

00:48:56.200 And when I say

00:48:56.940 he's a male, I

00:48:57.780 mean he has XY 0.81

00:48:58.740 chromosomes and a

00:49:00.160 male reproductive 0.54

00:49:00.860 system and male 0.93

00:49:01.840 gametes.

00:49:02.840 That's what makes a

00:49:03.500 person a male.

00:49:04.480 He also has a male

00:49:04.980 bone structure,

00:49:05.800 muscle structure.

00:49:06.980 He's male from

00:49:07.740 head to toe, from

00:49:08.320 skin to bone, from

00:49:09.260 his brain down to

00:49:09.960 his cells, down to

00:49:10.760 his DNA.

00:49:12.100 Literally every part

00:49:13.440 of him is male.

00:49:14.220 If they dig up his

00:49:15.040 remains a hundred

00:49:15.580 years from now, no

00:49:16.600 matter how much of

00:49:17.240 him is left, they

00:49:18.300 will be able to tell

00:49:19.200 that he was male.

00:49:20.400 That will indeed be

00:49:21.180 one of the only

00:49:21.880 things they will be

00:49:22.500 able to tell about

00:49:23.040 him.

00:49:23.760 That's because your

00:49:24.920 maleness or your

00:49:26.620 femaleness is one of 1.00

00:49:28.860 the most ingrained,

00:49:29.960 most permanent, most

00:49:30.820 enduring aspects of

00:49:32.000 who you are.

00:49:32.680 It's so enduring that

00:49:34.160 it remains even after

00:49:35.520 you die. 0.98

00:49:37.160 McLaughlin will be a 0.99

00:49:38.280 male even when he 0.99

00:49:39.540 doesn't exist anymore.

00:49:40.720 That's how male he

00:49:42.080 is.

00:49:42.680 Think about that.

00:49:44.280 If you're a man, even

00:49:46.040 when you stop existing,

00:49:47.540 you'll still be a man.

00:49:49.880 And yet, that didn't

00:49:51.060 stop him from fighting

00:49:51.980 a woman in the MMA

00:49:53.000 ring.

00:49:53.700 During the Combat

00:49:54.580 Global prelims on

00:49:55.780 Friday night, McLaughlin

00:49:56.760 fought and easily

00:49:57.640 defeated Celine 0.67

00:49:58.580 Provost, another MMA

00:50:00.240 fighter.

00:50:00.820 To be more specific,

00:50:01.620 after beating her 1.00

00:50:02.240 across the head and

00:50:02.900 the body for a

00:50:03.420 couple of rounds,

00:50:04.140 he eventually got

00:50:04.720 her into a 0.81

00:50:05.040 submission hold and

00:50:05.760 choked her out.

00:50:07.020 This was, again, a

00:50:07.760 man beating the 1.00

00:50:08.740 crap out of a woman. 1.00

00:50:09.480 An event that, in 1.00

00:50:10.840 the past, would

00:50:11.460 have been roundly

00:50:12.080 condemned by

00:50:12.580 everybody.

00:50:13.080 When former Ravens

00:50:13.940 running back Ray

00:50:14.480 Rice punched his

00:50:15.260 wife in an elevator, 1.00

00:50:16.580 it was one of the

00:50:17.380 biggest sports

00:50:18.360 scandals in NFL

00:50:19.060 history.

00:50:20.180 And Rice was run

00:50:20.900 out of the league,

00:50:21.440 never to return.

00:50:22.880 Now we know that

00:50:23.580 Rice could have

00:50:23.980 simply come out the

00:50:24.760 day that the

00:50:25.740 security camera footage

00:50:26.920 was leaked, could

00:50:27.820 have come out and

00:50:28.300 said that he's a

00:50:30.220 woman.

00:50:31.580 Asked everyone to

00:50:32.340 call him Regina Rice

00:50:33.400 from now on.

00:50:35.060 It's bad for Ray to

00:50:36.360 beat a woman, but 0.86

00:50:37.880 Regina, now, 0.56

00:50:39.480 now, that's a

00:50:41.160 different story.

00:50:43.080 That's why Ilana

00:50:43.940 McLaughlin is being

00:50:44.940 celebrated as a hero

00:50:46.100 today after choking a

00:50:47.080 woman into submission. 1.00

00:50:48.360 But McLaughlin is not

00:50:49.940 the one I'm

00:50:50.440 canceling today.

00:50:51.940 Yeah, he's a 0.99

00:50:52.500 cheater, a woman 1.00

00:50:53.880 beater, a bad 0.99

00:50:55.800 person for that 0.96

00:50:56.700 reason.

00:50:57.840 He's also a 0.97

00:50:58.540 pathological 1.00

00:50:58.980 narcissist. 0.98

00:51:00.960 Yes, he's a male 0.99

00:51:02.260 who beat a woman to 0.96

00:51:03.120 a pulp and who

00:51:03.960 identified Fallon

00:51:05.160 Fox as his hero.

00:51:06.520 Fallon Fox is the

00:51:07.240 other trans MMA

00:51:08.080 fighter who retired.

00:51:09.480 A few years ago

00:51:10.740 who twice fractured a

00:51:12.320 woman's skull and 0.51

00:51:13.240 then bragged about

00:51:14.000 it.

00:51:15.220 So yes, all of that

00:51:16.020 is true and all of

00:51:16.680 that is worthy of

00:51:17.240 cancellation to be

00:51:18.240 sure.

00:51:18.560 But as always, the 0.68

00:51:19.940 bad guys disgust me

00:51:21.640 somewhat less than 1.00

00:51:23.580 the cowards who 0.96

00:51:24.400 knowingly go along 0.99

00:51:25.500 with the evil because

00:51:26.260 they're too scared and

00:51:27.180 too selfish to speak

00:51:28.000 out.

00:51:29.220 And the announcers

00:51:29.900 and commentators during

00:51:30.900 this farcical fight on

00:51:32.120 Friday night give us a

00:51:33.580 pretty good idea of what

00:51:34.460 that cowardice sounds

00:51:35.520 like.

00:51:35.880 So let's go through

00:51:36.400 some of these clips.

00:51:36.900 First, here is one of

00:51:38.000 the hosts before the

00:51:38.880 fight introducing

00:51:40.200 Alana McLaughlin and

00:51:41.520 very, very gingerly

00:51:43.080 acknowledging that

00:51:43.960 maybe some people in

00:51:45.520 the viewing audience

00:51:46.280 might have a problem

00:51:48.000 with watching a man

00:51:48.880 kick and punch a 0.99

00:51:49.580 woman for 10 1.00

00:51:50.160 minutes.

00:51:50.740 Listen.

00:51:52.160 Back here on

00:51:52.840 Combate Global with 1.00

00:51:53.900 Rodolfo Roman.

00:51:55.000 My name is Max

00:51:55.680 Bretos and Alana

00:51:57.220 McLaughlin will be

00:51:58.000 fighting here tonight

00:51:59.460 and the topic of

00:52:00.980 trans athletes

00:52:01.780 competing obviously

00:52:02.900 splinters the

00:52:04.900 conversation quite

00:52:05.940 frequently.

00:52:07.420 However, whatever

00:52:08.700 side you think about

00:52:09.780 and whether you think

00:52:10.660 that the trans

00:52:11.200 athletes should 0.62

00:52:11.740 compete, one thing we

00:52:12.660 can all agree on,

00:52:13.600 the sacrifices one

00:52:15.240 has to make to make

00:52:16.460 that decision is

00:52:17.800 bigger than anything

00:52:18.900 any of us would do

00:52:19.900 on a regular basis.

00:52:21.300 Alana McLaughlin has

00:52:22.280 had to overcome many

00:52:24.080 hurdles in her life

00:52:25.340 and her career.

00:52:26.440 It's a journey that

00:52:27.600 only her have taken.

00:52:28.840 Let's take a closer

00:52:29.540 look at some of those

00:52:30.340 sacrifices that she has

00:52:31.500 had to make.

00:52:32.000 As early as I knew

00:52:36.320 there was a difference

00:52:37.120 between girls and

00:52:38.040 boys, I knew that

00:52:39.080 something was

00:52:39.980 different.

00:52:41.040 I grew up mostly

00:52:42.240 in South Carolina.

00:52:43.540 My upbringing was

00:52:44.680 not exactly standard.

00:52:47.160 It wasn't usual.

00:52:47.860 My parents go to

00:52:48.560 church five times a

00:52:49.520 week.

00:52:50.020 It wasn't the best

00:52:50.620 childhood.

00:52:51.260 We didn't have a lot

00:52:51.840 of money.

00:52:52.600 And of course,

00:52:53.160 growing up a queer

00:52:53.980 kid in the South,

00:52:54.880 it was never going to

00:52:55.920 be easy.

00:52:56.760 My family definitely

00:52:57.820 was not supportive

00:52:58.860 and are not today.

00:53:02.000 His family is not

00:53:02.940 supportive.

00:53:03.920 Well, that's good

00:53:04.480 news, at least.

00:53:05.940 You know, like how he

00:53:06.320 says, uh, my fan, my,

00:53:07.680 my upbringing was, uh,

00:53:09.040 it was pretty rough.

00:53:10.180 Not usual.

00:53:11.080 My family went to

00:53:11.760 church.

00:53:13.420 That's all he has.

00:53:14.340 That's, that's his only,

00:53:15.400 that's his horror story

00:53:17.180 of being raised.

00:53:17.960 Man, I had a pretty

00:53:19.460 tough kid.

00:53:20.120 Family went to

00:53:20.640 church.

00:53:22.040 Yep.

00:53:22.540 That was it.

00:53:23.000 Now I can tell you

00:53:25.420 that I certainly

00:53:25.980 would not be supportive

00:53:26.740 of my son getting

00:53:27.640 into the ring with

00:53:28.580 women and choking 1.00

00:53:29.420 them on national 0.99

00:53:30.100 television.

00:53:30.920 That's not something

00:53:31.500 that I would support

00:53:32.180 to put it mildly.

00:53:34.040 And yet the announcer

00:53:34.580 says that, um, we

00:53:35.980 can all agree that

00:53:37.600 the sacrifices made

00:53:38.980 by a male who beats 0.73

00:53:40.120 up a woman are 1.00

00:53:41.000 bigger than any of

00:53:42.360 the sacrifices that

00:53:43.180 any of us have ever

00:53:43.860 made, have ever

00:53:45.000 made.

00:53:45.700 We can all agree,

00:53:46.760 he says.

00:53:47.820 And what he means,

00:53:48.840 of course, is that

00:53:49.440 we must, we must all

00:53:50.900 agree.

00:53:51.160 We are required

00:53:53.100 to agree.

00:53:54.720 Just as his employers

00:53:55.880 have told him that

00:53:57.320 he must agree.

00:53:58.840 That's why his facial

00:53:59.920 expression and his

00:54:01.000 stuttering, stammering

00:54:02.380 delivery reminds you

00:54:04.020 of a hostage tape.

00:54:05.060 This guy knows how 0.87

00:54:06.700 hopelessly screwed up 0.92

00:54:07.680 all of this is, but he's

00:54:08.780 cooperating with the

00:54:09.740 charade.

00:54:10.600 And that brings us to

00:54:11.540 the fight itself.

00:54:12.360 Speaking of the

00:54:12.920 charade, fast forwarding

00:54:14.400 a little bit to where

00:54:15.300 the foregone conclusion

00:54:16.440 is realized and the

00:54:17.620 man beats the woman. 1.00

00:54:19.560 Let's listen to the

00:54:20.400 announcers as they

00:54:21.140 very carefully wrestle

00:54:22.580 with the implications

00:54:23.620 of the spectacle that

00:54:25.460 they themselves are

00:54:26.560 now a part of.

00:54:28.120 Big right hand.

00:54:29.140 I, for one, just

00:54:30.540 full transparency, I

00:54:32.260 don't know what to

00:54:33.200 expect.

00:54:34.100 I don't know how to

00:54:35.260 feel about this, but I

00:54:37.380 pull for a lot of

00:54:38.340 McLaughlin because you

00:54:39.360 see what you've gone

00:54:40.220 through to go through

00:54:41.300 what she has done.

00:54:42.500 It's a seismic change

00:54:44.620 in your life, but it's

00:54:46.040 the pursuit of happiness.

00:54:48.180 Absolutely.

00:54:48.580 But, you know, at the

00:54:49.320 end of the day, Max, it

00:54:50.340 really does come down to

00:54:51.260 technique and skills.

00:54:52.100 You could be as strong as

00:54:53.040 you want, but skill,

00:54:55.040 technique will always

00:54:56.640 conquer.

00:54:57.280 Well, I agree with you

00:54:58.300 there, Rodolfo, but

00:54:59.720 that's an argument people

00:55:01.400 will bring up and

00:55:02.160 they'll beg to differ.

00:55:05.320 She's trying to go for

00:55:06.840 the double.

00:55:07.220 up, does pretty well,

00:55:08.400 gets her on the ground

00:55:09.140 now.

00:55:09.360 She can see how her

00:55:09.940 ground game goes.

00:55:11.240 This is for Celine

00:55:12.380 Provost, the Uncharted

00:55:15.320 Waters.

00:55:16.320 Yeah, not your typical

00:55:17.200 wrestling double takedown,

00:55:18.600 as you can see.

00:55:19.220 She had to hold her up

00:55:20.040 there for a while.

00:55:20.900 Usually your wrestler

00:55:22.040 goes straight down for

00:55:23.360 the knee area or even

00:55:24.320 for the ankles, to be

00:55:25.200 honest, just to bring

00:55:25.960 them all the way down.

00:55:26.920 She had to lift her up

00:55:27.880 like a deadlift and

00:55:28.660 then she brought her

00:55:29.360 down.

00:55:29.620 McLaughlin's got the

00:55:30.680 back of Provost and

00:55:31.840 now it's dug in deep

00:55:33.260 and the tap!

00:55:35.480 Alana McLaughlin,

00:55:37.280 victorious in her MMA

00:55:39.300 debut via the rear

00:55:42.080 naked choke.

00:55:43.320 Had to take a lot of

00:55:44.580 pressure to get there,

00:55:45.900 but she did.

00:55:50.120 Yep, beat the woman 1.00

00:55:51.400 in the ribs, had her 0.97

00:55:53.480 bleed in the face,

00:55:54.160 choked her out.

00:55:56.580 You hear them say,

00:55:57.700 if you can't beat

00:55:58.920 them, join them.

00:55:59.480 Well, if you want to

00:56:01.180 beat them, join them.

00:56:03.400 In Alana McLaughlin's 0.94

00:56:04.500 case.

00:56:06.200 Now, but the announcer

00:56:07.060 says, I don't know how

00:56:08.140 to feel about this, but

00:56:09.420 certainly Alana feels

00:56:10.260 good.

00:56:11.100 That's the most

00:56:11.660 important thing.

00:56:12.780 I don't know how I feel

00:56:13.880 or anybody feels or how

00:56:14.980 the woman getting 0.76

00:56:15.500 pummeled into submission

00:56:16.320 right now feels, but all

00:56:17.500 that matters is how the

00:56:18.520 trans person feels.

00:56:20.100 If it makes him feel 0.96

00:56:20.880 good to beat a woman, 1.00

00:56:22.520 who are we to judge?

00:56:23.640 The pursuit of

00:56:24.280 happiness, he says.

00:56:26.820 This is the pursuit of

00:56:27.840 happiness as this man is

00:56:29.460 in the process of 0.77

00:56:30.300 punching a woman in the 0.94

00:56:30.940 ribs. 1.00

00:56:32.380 We all pursue happiness

00:56:33.500 in our own ways.

00:56:35.720 Now, I'm just paraphrasing

00:56:36.860 the announcers here a

00:56:37.520 little bit.

00:56:38.180 And then finally, here

00:56:39.820 they are at the

00:56:40.360 conclusion of the fight,

00:56:41.720 sharing their closing

00:56:43.560 thoughts about everything

00:56:44.560 that we've all just

00:56:46.120 watched.

00:56:46.460 That was a game plan and it

00:56:48.580 worked to her advantage.

00:56:51.380 Kudos to Celine.

00:56:52.220 She took the fight and

00:56:53.340 kudos to Alana.

00:56:54.200 Right now, I'm sure a lot

00:56:55.200 of teenagers, adults are

00:56:57.500 emotional.

00:56:58.200 Yes, victory for the

00:57:00.880 trans community and the

00:57:02.960 conversations will go from

00:57:04.400 here as to what's next for

00:57:07.920 Alana McLaughlin.

00:57:09.060 Whether this should be part

00:57:11.560 of the sport right now, that

00:57:14.520 doesn't matter.

00:57:15.180 Alana McLaughlin has gone

00:57:17.260 through hell and high water

00:57:18.480 to get here.

00:57:19.160 This was a fight that was

00:57:20.620 supposed to happen August

00:57:21.900 the 6th, put on hold.

00:57:24.640 Finally, here in the first

00:57:25.840 week of September, second

00:57:26.940 week of September, it

00:57:27.900 happens.

00:57:28.240 Yes, a lot of teenagers and

00:57:30.620 adults are emotional.

00:57:32.900 What does that mean, by the

00:57:33.840 way?

00:57:34.300 A lot of teenagers and adults

00:57:35.560 are emotional watching this.

00:57:36.760 What?

00:57:38.100 And they're having

00:57:38.720 conversations.

00:57:39.920 And the trans community is 0.56

00:57:41.120 having conversations.

00:57:42.500 And there are some who might

00:57:43.700 say maybe that this shouldn't

00:57:45.040 be a part of the sport, that

00:57:46.060 this sport should not be a

00:57:47.060 staging ground for men to

00:57:48.360 beat the hell out of women. 0.99

00:57:49.460 Some might say that, but that 0.98

00:57:50.600 doesn't matter now because,

00:57:51.700 again, the trans person feels 0.65

00:57:53.060 good.

00:57:53.600 He's feeling very good about

00:57:54.740 all of this.

00:57:55.360 And that's what matters.

00:57:56.320 That's the only thing that

00:57:56.940 matters in the whole world.

00:57:57.680 The world itself indeed

00:57:59.060 exists simply to make trans 0.99

00:58:00.680 people feel good about

00:58:01.460 themselves.

00:58:02.120 All of us, on our deathbeds,

00:58:04.400 when surrounded by our

00:58:05.260 loved ones, will surely ask

00:58:07.280 ourselves one question.

00:58:08.540 Did I, during my life, make

00:58:10.280 trans people feel good about 1.00

00:58:11.720 themselves?

00:58:12.240 And woe to those who cannot 1.00

00:58:13.600 say yes on that day.

00:58:14.880 What regret.

00:58:15.680 What terrible regret.

00:58:18.020 Again, I'm slightly

00:58:18.940 paraphrasing what we just

00:58:19.840 said.

00:58:20.540 Now, you have to ask

00:58:21.120 yourself, do any of these

00:58:23.340 men hosting this fight and

00:58:24.560 commenting on it actually

00:58:25.880 think that any of this is

00:58:27.480 okay or logical or morally

00:58:29.060 justifiable?

00:58:30.520 No, they don't.

00:58:33.180 Yeah, I can read their minds

00:58:34.580 and tell you they don't.

00:58:37.020 We can say with certainty they

00:58:38.900 don't.

00:58:39.800 Yet they cooperate with this

00:58:41.200 grotesque absurdity.

00:58:42.940 And that's the story of our

00:58:44.220 culture, isn't it?

00:58:45.480 That's the story.

00:58:46.400 The story is not

00:58:47.460 Alana McLaughlin.

00:58:48.380 The Alana McLaughlins of the

00:58:49.720 world are not the ones

00:58:51.240 driving the radical social

00:58:52.860 change that we're witnessing.

00:58:53.820 They're not the ones driving

00:58:56.300 our society over the cliff,

00:58:57.780 which is what it which is the

00:58:59.040 radical change we're

00:58:59.980 witnessing.

00:59:01.540 The change is as much the

00:59:03.180 same as the change that a car

00:59:05.060 undergoes when it goes over a

00:59:07.020 cliff and crashes on the rocks

00:59:08.500 below.

00:59:11.080 Civilization will not collapse

00:59:12.420 because of them, because of the

00:59:14.420 Alana McLaughlins.

00:59:16.080 Instead, the real revolutionaries

00:59:17.800 unintentionally are all of the

00:59:20.020 millions of normal, basically

00:59:21.600 sane people who know that what

00:59:24.320 they're seeing is wrong, who

00:59:26.300 know that it is not okay, and

00:59:29.040 they know why it is not okay, and

00:59:31.460 yet they remain quiet.

00:59:33.140 And then ultimately, they're

00:59:34.980 forced to participate in the evil

00:59:37.180 that they oppose, but oppose

00:59:40.160 silently in their hearts, where the

00:59:41.680 opposition doesn't matter and

00:59:43.080 accomplishes nothing.

00:59:45.140 You want to almost feel sorry for

00:59:46.780 those announcers who clearly want 0.99

00:59:47.940 no part of this, but are forced to

00:59:50.460 take part in it anyway, but then

00:59:51.900 you realize that they're not

00:59:53.000 forced.

00:59:54.280 None of us are really forced.

00:59:56.220 It's just that refusing to take

00:59:57.620 part may require sacrifice, and

01:00:00.700 many of us are not willing to make

01:00:01.940 the sacrifice, no matter how great

01:00:04.360 or small.

01:00:06.460 All we have are excuses.

01:00:08.700 We make our excuses while our

01:00:11.200 civilization rots away beneath our

01:00:13.560 feet.

01:00:15.040 I'm personally tired of the

01:00:16.460 excuses. 0.99

01:00:16.800 I'm tired of gutless cowards like 0.97

01:00:20.040 the announcers in that MMA match 0.98

01:00:21.660 who could have refused to be a

01:00:25.480 part of it, or you know what's

01:00:27.980 even better?

01:00:28.780 They could have said, sure, yeah,

01:00:29.920 I'll announce this match, and then

01:00:31.420 they could have spent the entire

01:00:32.580 time talking about what an absolute

01:00:34.560 travesty the entire thing was.

01:00:37.720 That would have taken guts.

01:00:39.800 They would have lost their jobs.

01:00:40.960 They would have had lots of people

01:00:44.320 coming after them, but we're at a

01:00:47.940 point now where you have to do the

01:00:49.200 thing that requires courage, and if

01:00:50.980 you won't do it, then you're no

01:00:52.460 better than anyone on the other

01:00:55.960 side, and that's why today,

01:00:58.900 ultimately, the announcers in that

01:01:01.220 match, and all like them, are

01:01:03.020 canceled, and we'll leave it there for

01:01:05.620 today.

01:01:06.200 Thanks for watching.

01:01:06.840 Thanks for listening.

01:01:07.460 Have a great day.

01:01:08.600 Godspeed.
