00:00:00.160 Today on the Matt Wall Show, Loudoun County continues to lie about and cover up the sexual assault of a student inside the girl's bathroom by a boy in a dress.
00:00:07.680 But Loudoun County is not an outlier. That's what we have to understand.
00:00:10.460 There has been a sex abuse epidemic in public schools for decades. We'll talk about that today.
00:00:14.600 Also, an NBA star will not be allowed to play for his team because he refuses to get vaccinated.
00:00:19.440 And Bill de Blasio removes a statue of Thomas Jefferson.
00:00:22.060 Plus, Republicans remain mostly silent about the Biden administration's plan to monitor our bank accounts.
00:00:27.580 And Demi Lovato continues to speak out about her alien encounters.
00:00:31.340 And in our Daily Cancellation, has the remake craze over at Disney finally gone too far?
00:00:36.020 Well, we'll discuss that and much more today on the Matt Wall Show.
00:00:48.320 As you've heard by now on this show and from the Daily Wire's reporting,
00:00:51.640 the Loudoun County School Board is the subject of national attention and righteous outrage
00:00:56.580 after the school system tried to cover up the rape of a female student inside the girl's bathroom
00:01:01.040 by a boy in a dress during school hours, alleged.
00:01:06.160 Loudoun County wanted to keep the incident out of public view in large part because it was, at the same time,
00:01:11.560 pushing through a policy that would open up girls' bathrooms across the district
00:01:14.840 and allow boys to enter if they claimed to identify as girls.
00:01:17.700 The, you know, this incident was very inconvenient for that agenda.
00:01:22.840 And so that's one of the main reasons we can assume why they wanted to cover it up.
00:01:27.320 The superintendent in Loudoun County, Scott Ziegler, went so far as to outright deny on the record
00:01:32.040 that any rape in any bathroom had occurred in his district.
00:01:35.040 This was weeks after one had actually occurred, allegedly.
00:01:38.100 And he made this claim, again, weeks after this rape, in which the victim was, among other things,
00:01:44.920 forcibly sodomized.
00:01:46.040 I mean, this was a brutal, violent rape, as any rape is.
00:01:50.740 So it was this denial issued by the superintendent at a school board meeting in June
00:01:55.340 that sent the victim's father, Scott Smith, into a rage, understandably,
00:02:02.040 which led to his arrest and to him becoming the media's poster child for violent parents,
00:02:08.140 quote-unquote violent parents, at school board meetings who now require FBI monitoring.
00:02:13.500 Of course, nobody in the media ever mentioned why Scott Smith was so enraged.
00:02:17.360 That was left out of the story completely until The Daily Wire stepped in.
00:02:21.540 And we now know also, to make matters worse, that there was another rape of a girl
00:02:25.820 in a Loudoun County school building after the rape in the bathroom.
00:02:28.740 And this second rape was, according to reports, committed by the same male student,
00:02:33.280 or at least a male student with the same name.
00:02:35.520 So you can connect the dots.
00:02:37.280 The school system allegedly then let him back into a school
00:02:40.940 after the first rape, where he proceeded to brutalize another girl.
00:02:47.180 But none of these revelations or the spotlight being shown on this issue
00:02:52.440 has caused the school board to abandon its lies and finally tell the truth.
00:02:56.260 On the contrary, they issued another statement yesterday.
00:02:59.100 And here's what the new statement says, in part.
00:03:02.300 It says,
00:03:02.640 School board members are typically not given details of disciplinary matters.
00:03:06.300 The board may be obligated to consider long-term suspensions or expulsions
00:03:09.620 and must ensure that students have not been deprived of due process.
00:03:12.880 Consequently, members of the school board were not aware of the specific details of this incident
00:03:18.300 until it was reported in media outlets earlier this week.
00:03:21.300 Okay, so that's their excuse for publicly denying that any rape had happened.
00:03:27.840 They are now claiming, they're actually claiming, that they didn't know about this
00:03:31.360 until the Daily Wire told them about it this week.
00:03:35.760 They want us to believe that a girl was sodomized in a bathroom during school hours
00:03:40.560 in one of their schools and they didn't know about it
00:03:43.160 until an outlet station in Nashville reported on it five months later.
00:03:48.200 Well, that's clearly bogus.
00:03:51.500 It's a lie.
00:03:52.500 It's an insult.
00:03:54.060 And they tell these lies while hiding from the public,
00:03:56.960 not allowing the public into the public meetings.
00:04:01.280 Only giving parents 60 seconds to take them to task for their evil criminal behavior.
00:04:07.860 This whole thing is unconscionable,
00:04:09.580 but let's not make the mistake of thinking
00:04:11.140 that the Loudoun County situation, because it's so egregious,
00:04:14.840 is therefore an outlier.
00:04:16.100 It is not.
00:04:18.120 Okay?
00:04:18.660 There has been an epidemic of this kind of thing,
00:04:21.520 sexual assaults and cover-ups,
00:04:23.100 in our public school system for decades now.
00:04:26.960 Decades.
00:04:28.260 Our schools are crawling with sex predators.
00:04:32.860 A study commissioned by the Department of Education
00:04:34.680 found that one in ten public school students are,
00:04:37.960 quote, targets of sexual misconduct,
00:04:39.780 and that's just by the teachers.
00:04:41.740 So that works out to over four million victims.
00:04:45.140 And out of that number,
00:04:46.340 three million have experienced actual sexual assault.
00:04:49.120 According to the Department of Education's own report,
00:04:52.860 the epidemic in our schools is 100 times worse
00:04:55.960 than the scandal in the Catholic Church,
00:04:57.600 though it's probably gotten about 100 times less attention.
00:05:00.780 And these are numbers from,
00:05:01.820 that was a report that was done in,
00:05:03.200 you know, I want to say 2004 or so,
00:05:06.680 decade and a half ago.
00:05:08.260 Do we imagine that the situation has improved
00:05:10.240 since then or has it deteriorated?
00:05:13.620 I mean, does institutional sexual abuse
00:05:16.020 generally clear itself up if ignored,
00:05:18.320 or does it continue to get worse?
00:05:20.860 And that, again, is only abuse by teachers.
00:05:24.040 Abuse by students of other students
00:05:26.100 is its own crisis.
00:05:27.200 In a 2017 report,
00:05:28.820 the AP found 17,000 cases
00:05:32.120 of student-on-student abuse
00:05:34.340 in a four-year period,
00:05:35.700 17,000.
00:05:38.920 Many of the stories are downright horrific,
00:05:41.760 both boys and girls harassed,
00:05:43.240 assaulted, raped, sodomized.
00:05:45.580 The schools have done a manifestly
00:05:47.480 and nearly universal terrible job
00:05:49.580 of handling these cases,
00:05:52.120 and sometimes they cover it up
00:05:53.360 as they did in Loudoun County.
00:05:54.800 You know, they'll sometimes
00:05:58.560 send abusers,
00:06:00.500 whether students or teachers,
00:06:02.300 to other schools,
00:06:03.320 moving people around.
00:06:06.580 The same kind of thing that we see
00:06:08.260 when there are these institutional
00:06:09.840 sexual abuse epidemics and cover-ups.
00:06:13.080 But what else can we expect?
00:06:14.280 I mean, there are hundreds of deviants
00:06:15.840 and perverts working in the system.
00:06:18.100 We can't very well depend on them
00:06:19.840 to police the conduct of their students
00:06:21.680 when they can't police their own conduct.
00:06:23.540 Now, the Loudoun County School Board
00:06:26.360 had a special incentive
00:06:27.760 to cover up and lie about this case
00:06:29.620 because they were trying
00:06:30.280 to protect the trans agenda,
00:06:31.900 an agenda that they put
00:06:32.800 before all other concerns,
00:06:34.180 including the safety of students.
00:06:35.900 I mean, far, far above
00:06:37.220 the safety of students, in fact.
00:06:39.680 Most of these other cases
00:06:40.800 were covered up for other reasons.
00:06:43.180 And I don't want to distract
00:06:44.520 from the way that the Loudoun County story
00:06:46.980 intersects with the trans agenda
00:06:49.040 and how the trans agenda
00:06:50.500 sets the stage for this assault
00:06:52.440 and for many more to come
00:06:53.780 by allowing boys
00:06:55.040 into the girls' bathroom.
00:06:57.320 And when it comes to assaults
00:06:59.220 enabled by the trans agenda,
00:07:00.620 Loudoun County also
00:07:01.620 isn't an outlier there.
00:07:03.660 We know about the We Spa case
00:07:05.640 where a sex predator male
00:07:06.800 was able to access
00:07:08.240 the female locker room
00:07:09.480 and expose his erect penis
00:07:11.220 to women and girls.
00:07:12.820 We know about cases in prison
00:07:14.520 where female prisoners
00:07:16.160 have been allegedly raped,
00:07:17.300 sometimes impregnated,
00:07:18.340 with the woman identifying males
00:07:20.780 they're locked up with.
00:07:23.360 As far as the prisons go,
00:07:25.680 I think it's very likely
00:07:27.100 that there is a whole separate epidemic
00:07:31.480 happening there
00:07:32.180 and we just don't know about it
00:07:33.580 because these victims
00:07:34.800 have no way of telling us.
00:07:38.160 We're entirely dependent
00:07:39.500 upon the system
00:07:40.420 to let us know
00:07:41.340 that these things are happening
00:07:42.600 and they're not going to tell us.
00:07:45.000 So we don't want to lose sight
00:07:46.120 of any of that
00:07:46.640 or distract from it.
00:07:48.100 But my point is that
00:07:49.040 as far as covering up
00:07:50.000 sexual assaults
00:07:50.680 on a public school campus go,
00:07:52.860 this story fits into a larger,
00:07:54.980 long-standing pattern.
00:07:57.960 This kind of thing
00:07:58.840 has been happening
00:07:59.420 for many, many years.
00:08:01.040 Not always in bathrooms,
00:08:02.160 of course,
00:08:02.460 often in classrooms
00:08:03.360 or elsewhere on school grounds
00:08:05.480 or in a teacher's home
00:08:07.440 or in their car.
00:08:10.020 And the thing that ties
00:08:10.760 all these cases together
00:08:11.780 is that the system's first instinct
00:08:14.540 is to protect itself,
00:08:15.880 to protect its own interests
00:08:17.760 and its own agenda.
00:08:20.320 Protecting children
00:08:21.020 is far down the list
00:08:22.240 of priorities
00:08:22.760 if it makes the list at all,
00:08:24.080 which I don't think it does.
00:08:25.940 In fact,
00:08:26.380 the system itself
00:08:27.460 sexualizes and abuses kids.
00:08:29.820 It's part of the curriculum.
00:08:31.020 They put pornographic material
00:08:32.300 in school libraries.
00:08:33.720 They teach middle schoolers
00:08:34.940 about masturbation
00:08:35.860 and anal sex
00:08:36.560 during sex ed.
00:08:37.420 They push gender fluidity
00:08:38.700 and cross-dressing.
00:08:39.520 Is it any wonder
00:08:40.220 that the people behind
00:08:41.460 all of this
00:08:41.920 are not too eager
00:08:42.660 to stamp out
00:08:43.440 the physical sexual abuse
00:08:44.580 of children?
00:08:45.480 Would rather cover it up
00:08:46.700 than expose it?
00:08:48.800 The school system
00:08:49.720 is again run
00:08:50.460 by amoral deviants
00:08:51.880 and child sex predators.
00:08:54.200 All of what we're seeing
00:08:55.280 in Loudoun County
00:08:55.940 across the country
00:08:56.680 is a result of that.
00:08:58.460 They view your children
00:08:59.840 not as people
00:09:00.660 but objects,
00:09:01.740 sexual objects.
00:09:03.960 So we can't really be surprised
00:09:05.500 by these results.
00:09:07.220 But at least
00:09:08.200 it seems parents
00:09:10.100 are finally beginning
00:09:10.780 to care about this problem.
00:09:11.920 I can tell you
00:09:12.420 that I've been shouting
00:09:13.260 from the rooftops
00:09:15.020 about the sexual abuse
00:09:15.940 epidemic in schools
00:09:16.780 for years now
00:09:17.880 and the response
00:09:19.220 mostly has been
00:09:20.320 a giant collective yawn
00:09:22.020 from the public.
00:09:24.560 It's been
00:09:25.340 sort of amazing
00:09:26.400 and incredibly frustrating
00:09:27.920 to see that.
00:09:30.360 You know,
00:09:30.960 to sit here
00:09:31.860 and say
00:09:32.280 by the way
00:09:33.500 there's an epidemic
00:09:34.560 of sexual abuse
00:09:35.580 in the school system
00:09:36.620 that the Department of Education
00:09:37.900 has even told us about.
00:09:39.240 maybe we should do
00:09:41.080 something about this
00:09:42.080 and most
00:09:44.780 people that hear you
00:09:46.000 say that go
00:09:46.520 well
00:09:46.860 there are other things
00:09:50.140 to talk about.
00:09:51.620 People would rather
00:09:52.080 talk about the sexual abuse
00:09:53.060 problems in Hollywood
00:09:54.100 or in Catholic churches
00:09:56.660 30 years ago
00:09:57.680 than discuss
00:09:58.660 what's happening
00:09:59.220 right now
00:10:00.040 today
00:10:00.600 in the schools
00:10:01.400 their own children
00:10:02.480 attend.
00:10:02.920 That's the way
00:10:05.640 it has been
00:10:06.140 but
00:10:07.360 that dynamic
00:10:08.120 seems to finally
00:10:08.860 be changing.
00:10:09.640 Parents are awake
00:10:10.360 and paying attention
00:10:11.120 for the first time
00:10:11.880 in many cases
00:10:12.440 and that's the good news
00:10:15.420 and let's keep that up.
00:10:18.880 Now let's get to
00:10:19.580 our five headlines.
00:10:27.240 You know
00:10:27.760 a lot of people
00:10:28.180 get nervous
00:10:28.660 when the topic
00:10:29.460 of abortion
00:10:29.940 comes up
00:10:30.660 a lot of pro-lifers
00:10:31.920 do.
00:10:32.500 Even though
00:10:33.240 we are standing
00:10:34.140 in the truth
00:10:35.660 and we know
00:10:36.900 what's right
00:10:37.400 and our position
00:10:38.280 is very simple
00:10:40.160 and seemingly
00:10:41.060 self-explanatory
00:10:42.080 you know
00:10:42.660 don't kill innocent people
00:10:43.820 that's our position
00:10:44.740 don't kill children
00:10:46.060 that's our position
00:10:46.820 even despite that
00:10:48.260 it makes people nervous
00:10:49.100 because there are
00:10:49.600 so many different arguments
00:10:50.560 that get thrown at you
00:10:51.360 from the other side
00:10:52.260 from all different directions
00:10:53.180 and that's why
00:10:54.300 you need a book
00:10:55.060 like 40 Days for Life's
00:10:57.280 new book

00:11:33.420 Alright so I'm trying
00:11:34.900 to make it through here
00:11:35.580 I had hoped to be
00:11:36.880 more rested today
00:11:38.100 I was intent on
00:11:39.220 catching up on
00:11:39.860 some sleep last night
00:11:40.760 but that plan was foiled
00:11:42.080 when our four year old
00:11:42.960 came into the room
00:11:44.340 at about one in the morning
00:11:45.360 because he had a bad dream
00:11:47.080 and now you know
00:11:48.320 my wife is nicer
00:11:49.780 in these situations
00:11:50.760 than I am
00:11:52.120 and it's not that I'm mean
00:11:54.000 you know I do take it seriously
00:11:55.480 I try to
00:11:56.500 when there's a bad dream situation
00:11:58.720 and I'm on the hook for it
00:11:59.700 I try to console
00:12:00.660 the dream victim
00:12:02.440 especially because kids
00:12:04.440 really do have
00:12:05.400 terrifying dreams
00:12:06.460 if you ever listen to them
00:12:08.380 describe their dreams
00:12:09.440 it's like something
00:12:10.340 out of a horror movie
00:12:11.100 so like the other day
00:12:12.560 again my four year old
00:12:14.120 had a different bad dream
00:12:15.240 and he told me about it
00:12:17.200 and he said that
00:12:19.180 in his dream
00:12:20.140 he heard something
00:12:21.420 in the basement
00:12:22.060 and so he opened the door
00:12:23.780 to the basement
00:12:24.320 and there was a man
00:12:25.100 standing at the bottom
00:12:26.040 of the steps
00:12:26.500 staring up
00:12:27.240 like silently
00:12:28.200 not saying anything
00:12:29.160 and I said
00:12:31.100 well who was the man
00:12:32.040 in the dream
00:12:32.440 maybe it was
00:12:33.180 Santa Claus
00:12:35.120 or something
00:12:35.560 coming to
00:12:36.060 try to see this
00:12:38.300 in a positive light
00:12:39.040 and he said
00:12:40.720 well I don't know
00:12:41.560 who the man was daddy
00:12:42.500 because he didn't have a face
00:12:43.780 and I said
00:12:45.840 wow
00:12:46.060 yeah that's terrifying
00:12:47.280 I am scared now actually
00:12:48.860 you're spreading
00:12:49.880 the bad dream to me
00:12:51.040 now I'm infected
00:12:52.240 stop talking about it
00:12:54.080 keep this to yourself
00:12:54.680 so I get it with the dreams
00:12:56.500 but I'll try to console
00:12:58.940 the child
00:12:59.500 and then send them back
00:13:00.680 to their own bed
00:13:01.380 to sleep
00:13:01.880 or I'll bring them
00:13:02.900 back to the bed
00:13:03.360 I'll put them to bed
00:13:04.280 and I'll say
00:13:05.240 good luck with the faceless guy
00:13:06.440 I gotta go
00:13:07.040 back to bed
00:13:08.120 but my wife
00:13:09.660 she'll always let
00:13:10.740 the scared child
00:13:11.800 sleep in our bed
00:13:12.800 and that's what
00:13:14.020 she did last night
00:13:14.840 so our four year old
00:13:16.500 ended up in bed
00:13:17.100 with us
00:13:17.500 and if you know
00:13:19.060 anything about
00:13:19.680 young children
00:13:20.380 and how they sleep
00:13:21.280 you know how this goes
00:13:22.140 like little kids
00:13:23.980 when they sleep
00:13:24.480 they're like
00:13:24.900 wind up toys
00:13:25.960 that are still wound up
00:13:27.140 but knocked over
00:13:28.520 on their side
00:13:29.160 so their legs
00:13:29.800 and their arms
00:13:30.300 are still flailing around
00:13:31.360 so this kid is
00:13:32.500 thrashing all over the bed
00:13:33.980 all night
00:13:34.660 he's like pummeling me
00:13:35.540 in the side of the face
00:13:36.600 karate chopping me
00:13:39.160 kicking me
00:13:39.840 dropping elbows
00:13:40.700 I felt like I was
00:13:42.320 trying to take a nap
00:13:43.560 in the middle of a mosh pit
00:13:44.540 or something
00:13:45.100 meanwhile the kid
00:13:46.880 he's drooling all over
00:13:48.300 the pillows
00:13:48.760 and then
00:13:49.340 morning finally comes
00:13:51.800 and you as the parent
00:13:53.900 you're like a zombie
00:13:54.780 sleepless
00:13:55.500 battered
00:13:56.040 broken
00:13:56.360 and the kid
00:13:58.100 bounds out of bed
00:13:59.140 full of energy
00:13:59.760 well rested
00:14:01.100 that's the way it goes
00:14:02.560 alright so let's start
00:14:04.040 with this
00:14:04.480 Brooklyn Nets star
00:14:05.660 Kyrie Irving
00:14:06.500 has been banned
00:14:07.820 by his team
00:14:09.300 from playing
00:14:10.000 because he refuses
00:14:10.740 to comply
00:14:11.440 with New York's
00:14:13.160 vaccine mandate
00:14:14.020 and he has
00:14:15.720 explained what his
00:14:16.640 reasoning is
00:14:17.160 he says he's not
00:14:17.880 anti-vax in general
00:14:19.700 he just believes
00:14:20.860 that he should have
00:14:21.920 the right to determine
00:14:22.940 what sorts of
00:14:24.380 substances he puts
00:14:25.160 into his body
00:14:25.780 really reasonable
00:14:28.300 position I would say
00:14:29.200 here he is explaining
00:14:30.040 it on Instagram live
00:14:31.180 listen
00:14:31.500 I'm always going to
00:14:33.360 stay true
00:14:33.880 to me
00:14:35.080 and that's me
00:14:36.040 you know this is
00:14:37.000 my life
00:14:37.640 I get to do
00:14:38.820 whatever I want
00:14:39.820 with this
00:14:40.940 this is one body
00:14:42.260 that I get here
00:14:42.920 one god body
00:14:43.860 that I get here
00:14:44.540 and you telling me
00:14:45.940 what to do
00:14:46.540 with my body
00:14:47.360 and it has nothing
00:14:48.200 to do with the
00:14:48.740 organization
00:14:49.340 I'm going to put
00:14:49.840 that out there
00:14:50.260 it has nothing
00:14:50.560 to do with the
00:14:50.980 nets
00:14:51.180 it has nothing
00:14:51.560 to do with my
00:14:51.960 teammates
00:14:52.380 this has everything
00:14:53.600 to do with what's
00:14:54.220 going on in our
00:14:54.860 world
00:14:55.220 and I'm being
00:14:56.040 grouped in
00:14:56.760 to something
00:14:58.100 that's bigger
00:14:58.720 than just the
00:14:59.680 game of basketball
00:15:00.400 and you know
00:15:01.300 you got that
00:15:01.980 that fandom
00:15:03.320 you know
00:15:03.960 which is like
00:15:04.480 a religion
00:15:04.960 to people out
00:15:05.640 here
00:15:05.760 basketball is
00:15:06.340 like a religion
00:15:06.960 entertainment is
00:15:07.680 like a religion
00:15:08.140 to people
00:15:08.500 they like
00:15:09.120 get so caught
00:15:09.900 up emotionally
00:15:10.520 it's just like
00:15:11.140 yo
00:15:11.460 effing get
00:15:12.640 vaccinated
00:15:13.160 or just leave
00:15:14.000 you know
00:15:14.280 we angry at
00:15:14.920 what you're doing
00:15:15.500 man
00:15:15.840 and it's just
00:15:16.220 like nah
00:15:16.780 that's
00:15:17.120 like what are
00:15:18.300 you talking
00:15:18.620 about
00:15:18.880 I'm a human
00:15:19.960 being
00:15:20.380 I have emotions
00:15:22.380 I have feelings
00:15:24.100 I have thoughts
00:15:25.160 things that I
00:15:26.600 keep to myself
00:15:27.280 things that I
00:15:27.840 share
00:15:28.220 but I'm
00:15:29.440 staying grounded
00:15:30.080 in what I
00:15:30.500 believe in
00:15:31.040 it's just as
00:15:32.260 simple as that
00:15:32.900 it's not
00:15:33.420 about being
00:15:34.380 anti-vax
00:15:35.320 or about being
00:15:36.960 you know
00:15:37.900 on one side
00:15:38.440 or the other
00:15:38.920 like it's just
00:15:40.080 really about being
00:15:40.880 true to what
00:15:41.780 feels good for me
00:15:42.660 you know
00:15:43.940 I'm still uncertain
00:15:44.780 about a lot of
00:15:45.500 things
00:15:45.980 and that's okay
00:15:47.300 you know
00:15:48.300 if I'm gonna be
00:15:48.880 demonized for
00:15:49.680 having more
00:15:50.140 questions
00:15:50.600 and taking my
00:15:51.800 time to make
00:15:52.300 a decision
00:15:52.780 with my life
00:15:53.560 then that's
00:15:54.780 just what it
00:15:55.260 is
00:15:55.760 pretty reasonable
00:15:58.560 to any
00:15:59.760 reasonable
00:16:00.220 person
00:16:00.680 that would
00:16:01.020 seem reasonable
00:16:01.520 at least
00:16:01.900 and who is he
00:16:03.760 putting at risk
00:16:04.280 exactly
00:16:04.740 you know
00:16:06.760 we come back
00:16:07.400 to this
00:16:07.760 same question
00:16:09.200 if everybody
00:16:10.740 else
00:16:11.280 is
00:16:12.840 obediently
00:16:13.960 complying
00:16:14.500 and they're all
00:16:15.280 getting vaccinated
00:16:16.000 who
00:16:17.860 who is he
00:16:18.800 going to
00:16:19.240 infect
00:16:19.680 we're worried
00:16:21.440 about him
00:16:21.660 infecting one
00:16:22.420 of the other
00:16:22.680 players on the
00:16:23.240 basketball court
00:16:23.940 they're all
00:16:26.680 young
00:16:27.260 extremely healthy
00:16:29.120 and physically
00:16:29.760 fit males
00:16:30.700 and everybody
00:16:33.020 else is vaccinated
00:16:33.720 so what's the
00:16:36.040 concern exactly
00:16:36.760 why do we have
00:16:39.780 to force this
00:16:40.280 on him
00:16:40.520 well because
00:16:40.960 because it is
00:16:42.000 it's about
00:16:42.520 the forcing
00:16:43.140 it's about
00:16:45.080 it's about
00:16:45.600 compliance
00:16:46.140 now
00:16:48.620 sports media
00:16:51.800 you know
00:16:52.240 usually when
00:16:53.700 a
00:16:54.300 an athlete
00:16:55.700 basketball
00:16:56.580 player
00:16:57.100 is taking
00:16:58.860 some sort
00:16:59.500 of stand
00:17:00.500 and they're
00:17:02.720 punished for
00:17:03.440 it
00:17:03.680 by the team
00:17:05.700 you know
00:17:06.700 usually sports
00:17:07.900 media
00:17:08.240 is
00:17:09.980 there to
00:17:10.980 come to
00:17:11.400 their defense
00:17:11.880 well maybe I
00:17:12.820 shouldn't say
00:17:13.100 usually
00:17:13.400 it really
00:17:13.960 depends on
00:17:14.620 what the
00:17:14.960 stand is
00:17:15.860 and what
00:17:16.120 this is all
00:17:16.760 about
00:17:17.060 one of the
00:17:21.120 primary examples
00:17:21.780 that comes to
00:17:22.260 mind of course
00:17:22.600 is Colin
00:17:23.020 Kaepernick
00:17:23.480 and we can't
00:17:25.740 even say that
00:17:26.180 Colin Kaepernick
00:17:26.760 was not
00:17:27.760 actually
00:17:28.340 punished by
00:17:29.360 the league
00:17:29.720 he was never
00:17:30.560 banned from
00:17:31.420 playing
00:17:31.860 but he
00:17:33.660 decided he
00:17:34.200 wanted to
00:17:34.520 take his
00:17:34.820 own stand
00:17:35.740 and
00:17:36.800 then he
00:17:38.700 wasn't able
00:17:39.100 to get
00:17:39.340 another job
00:17:40.160 in the NFL
00:17:40.680 the reason
00:17:41.400 for that
00:17:41.820 is that
00:17:42.100 while Kyrie
00:17:42.980 Irving is
00:17:43.540 still one
00:17:43.880 of the top
00:17:44.300 stars in
00:17:45.000 basketball
00:17:45.660 they're not
00:17:46.660 even letting
00:17:46.980 him play
00:17:47.540 Colin Kaepernick
00:17:49.200 by the time
00:17:49.720 he had
00:17:50.400 discovered
00:17:50.800 his passion
00:17:51.400 for social
00:17:51.800 justice
00:17:52.220 he had gone
00:17:54.120 from mediocre
00:17:54.720 to terrible
00:17:55.260 already
00:17:55.680 he wasn't
00:17:56.060 worth the
00:17:56.340 headache
00:17:56.580 and that's
00:17:57.920 why he's
00:17:58.160 not playing
00:17:58.520 in the league
00:17:58.740 and also
00:17:58.940 he doesn't
00:17:59.240 want to
00:17:59.700 play
00:17:59.880 because he
00:18:02.040 can make
00:18:02.460 a lot more
00:18:02.760 money and
00:18:03.040 be a lot
00:18:03.340 more famous
00:18:03.860 as a
00:18:04.520 professional
00:18:04.860 victim
00:18:05.220 but
00:18:06.140 sports media
00:18:07.620 very quick
00:18:08.540 to come
00:18:08.820 to Kaepernick's
00:18:09.380 defense
00:18:09.640 even though
00:18:13.120 what is he
00:18:14.180 actually taking
00:18:14.780 a stand
00:18:15.160 against
00:18:15.600 he's taking
00:18:18.440 a stand
00:18:18.800 against
00:18:19.020 an imaginary
00:18:19.860 issue
00:18:20.460 this imaginary
00:18:23.520 problem of
00:18:24.300 systemic racism
00:18:25.220 and cops
00:18:26.020 hunting black
00:18:26.800 people
00:18:27.120 that's not
00:18:27.640 really happening
00:18:28.200 but this
00:18:31.360 infringement
00:18:31.820 on basic
00:18:32.220 liberty
00:18:32.640 with places
00:18:35.180 like New York
00:18:35.680 trying to force
00:18:36.340 a substance
00:18:36.700 into people's
00:18:37.880 bodies
00:18:38.160 that's actually
00:18:39.120 happening
00:18:39.500 and here's
00:18:41.140 what's
00:18:41.360 let's find out
00:18:42.100 what sports
00:18:42.460 media
00:18:42.720 what they
00:18:43.160 have to say
00:18:43.520 about Kyrie
00:18:44.040 Irving
00:18:44.280 here's
00:18:44.600 Stephen A
00:18:45.220 Smith
00:18:45.480 and prominent
00:18:47.040 commentator
00:18:47.780 especially when
00:18:48.780 it comes to
00:18:49.080 basketball
00:18:49.460 and here's
00:18:49.820 what he has
00:18:50.220 to say
00:18:50.620 about this
00:18:51.900 let's listen
00:18:52.300 the Brooklyn
00:18:53.820 Nets need
00:18:54.260 to get rid
00:18:54.680 of Kyrie
00:18:55.060 Irving
00:18:55.360 he got
00:18:56.460 to go
00:18:57.020 he's just
00:18:58.440 a problem
00:18:59.120 he's just
00:19:00.040 a problem
00:19:00.600 I want to
00:19:01.260 put everything
00:19:01.760 in this
00:19:02.080 proper perspective
00:19:03.000 Keyshawn
00:19:03.900 Kendrick
00:19:04.440 Molly
00:19:04.720 there's a
00:19:07.560 whole bunch
00:19:08.140 of people
00:19:08.580 out here
00:19:09.220 myself included
00:19:10.400 maybe not
00:19:10.860 you Key
00:19:11.260 but a lot
00:19:11.760 of us
00:19:12.020 that have
00:19:12.400 reservations
00:19:12.900 about taking
00:19:13.540 the vaccine
00:19:14.140 but we
00:19:15.020 took it
00:19:15.500 not just
00:19:17.340 because of
00:19:17.940 us
00:19:18.420 but because
00:19:19.620 of the people
00:19:20.280 that we were
00:19:20.820 going to be
00:19:21.440 around
00:19:21.820 and more
00:19:23.400 importantly
00:19:23.940 the obligations
00:19:25.260 that we have
00:19:26.160 I don't get
00:19:27.220 vaccinated
00:19:27.600 I can't do
00:19:28.180 first take
00:19:28.680 I don't do
00:19:29.400 first take
00:19:30.000 I'm leaving
00:19:30.660 everybody stranded
00:19:31.520 not to mention
00:19:32.320 compromising my
00:19:33.160 own bankroll
00:19:34.040 and bottom line
00:19:34.640 which I was not
00:19:35.400 going to do
00:19:36.220 let me be very
00:19:37.120 very clear
00:19:37.680 about that
00:19:38.260 okay
00:19:38.760 I apologize
00:19:39.400 for that
00:19:39.760 to a damn
00:19:40.280 soul
00:19:40.620 alright
00:19:40.860 that's how
00:19:41.500 I roll
00:19:41.980 okay
00:19:42.480 having said
00:19:43.360 all of that
00:19:44.020 even if that
00:19:45.460 were not the
00:19:46.120 case
00:19:46.500 if I'm a
00:19:47.600 member of a
00:19:48.320 team
00:19:48.720 and we've
00:19:50.180 aligned
00:19:50.900 and we're
00:19:52.160 mission minded
00:19:53.080 I'm not going
00:19:54.360 to be the one
00:19:54.920 to jump off
00:19:55.540 the train
00:19:55.960 to compromise
00:19:56.600 the mission
00:19:57.340 okay
00:19:58.200 I'm going
00:19:58.940 to be the
00:19:59.280 one
00:19:59.600 that stands
00:20:00.380 that stands
00:20:01.200 pat and is
00:20:01.740 like yo
00:20:02.220 this is what
00:20:02.560 we're doing
00:20:02.940 this is what
00:20:03.240 we got to
00:20:03.640 do
00:20:03.960 Kevin Durant
00:20:04.940 6.2 billion
00:20:06.860 plus people
00:20:07.760 have taken
00:20:08.440 the vaccine
00:20:09.100 whatever conspiracy
00:20:10.300 Kyrie Irving
00:20:11.080 wants to come
00:20:11.660 up with
00:20:12.020 alright good
00:20:12.780 luck with that
00:20:13.360 but the bottom
00:20:13.840 line is
00:20:14.340 that means
00:20:14.900 you're looking
00:20:15.200 at everybody
00:20:15.620 else who's
00:20:16.140 taking the
00:20:16.520 vaccine
00:20:16.860 and that's
00:20:17.580 the position
00:20:18.040 that you're
00:20:18.360 maintaining
00:20:18.780 people out
00:20:19.780 there who
00:20:20.060 don't want
00:20:20.320 to take
00:20:20.580 the vaccine
00:20:21.020 that's your
00:20:21.380 personal choice
00:20:22.000 I get where
00:20:22.780 you're coming
00:20:23.160 from with that
00:20:23.780 but you
00:20:24.340 evidently
00:20:24.880 ain't a part
00:20:25.360 of a team
00:20:25.920 every time
00:20:29.280 I listen to
00:20:29.640 this guy
00:20:29.880 I don't
00:20:30.280 know how
00:20:30.960 I mean
00:20:31.220 that was a
00:20:32.060 minute
00:20:32.240 that's the
00:20:32.940 most I could
00:20:33.320 possibly
00:20:33.620 there are
00:20:34.180 people who
00:20:34.680 I guess
00:20:35.680 he has
00:20:36.060 multiple
00:20:36.560 shows
00:20:37.140 and people
00:20:37.520 sit down
00:20:38.100 to listen
00:20:38.600 to him
00:20:38.980 on purpose
00:20:40.140 I can't
00:20:42.300 imagine
00:20:42.740 why
00:20:43.180 it's like
00:20:43.480 it's like
00:20:43.880 it's like
00:20:45.380 human
00:20:45.860 whoopee cushion
00:20:46.640 that you're
00:20:46.940 listening to
00:20:47.480 and
00:20:48.700 first of all
00:20:49.980 6.2 billion
00:20:51.020 people are
00:20:51.620 vaccinated
00:20:52.120 no they're
00:20:53.320 not
00:20:53.640 that's almost
00:20:54.440 the entire
00:20:54.860 population
00:20:55.400 of the globe
00:20:55.880 I think
00:20:57.180 the actual
00:20:57.580 number of
00:20:57.980 fully vaccinated
00:20:58.500 people is
00:20:58.900 something like
00:20:59.240 3 billion
00:20:59.820 still
00:21:01.760 quite a lot
00:21:02.540 but you know
00:21:02.880 he's only
00:21:03.240 he's only
00:21:03.960 doubled
00:21:04.660 it
00:21:04.900 but what
00:21:09.380 he says
00:21:09.680 there at
00:21:09.860 the very
00:21:10.100 beginning
00:21:10.360 oh they
00:21:10.620 gotta get
00:21:10.920 rid of
00:21:11.640 him
00:21:11.840 he's gotta
00:21:12.160 be gone
00:21:12.660 if someone
00:21:16.040 had said
00:21:16.500 that
00:21:16.960 if someone
00:21:18.620 had gone
00:21:18.860 on ESPN
00:21:19.460 or one of
00:21:19.900 these other
00:21:20.180 sports channels
00:21:21.300 and said
00:21:22.600 that about
00:21:22.960 Colin Kaepernick
00:21:24.200 we just gotta
00:21:24.620 get rid of
00:21:25.000 him
00:21:25.180 he's not
00:21:25.540 he's trouble
00:21:26.120 he's not
00:21:26.760 worth the
00:21:27.100 trouble
00:21:27.380 Stephen A
00:21:30.400 Smith would
00:21:30.780 be one of
00:21:31.040 the first
00:21:31.300 to call
00:21:31.540 that person
00:21:31.840 racist
00:21:32.260 even though
00:21:36.000 Colin Kaepernick
00:21:36.640 is like
00:21:37.120 half black
00:21:37.800 Kyrie Irving
00:21:40.460 is far
00:21:40.860 blacker than
00:21:41.300 Colin Kaepernick
00:21:41.840 is
00:21:42.140 and in
00:21:44.900 this case
00:21:45.480 you know
00:21:45.700 Colin Kaepernick
00:21:46.220 is protesting
00:21:47.120 nothing
00:21:47.800 I mean his
00:21:48.180 rights are
00:21:48.500 not being
00:21:48.760 infringed upon
00:21:49.340 by anybody
00:21:49.880 and he
00:21:51.900 wasn't banned
00:21:52.560 from the league
00:21:52.980 or banned
00:21:53.320 from anything
00:21:53.880 Kyrie Irving
00:21:57.200 is speaking out
00:21:57.780 against the
00:21:58.180 actual infringement
00:21:59.120 on our basic
00:21:59.960 human liberties
00:22:00.540 to decide
00:22:01.040 what substances
00:22:01.660 are put
00:22:01.920 into our
00:22:02.200 bodies
00:22:02.460 and then
00:22:05.480 pretending
00:22:05.900 that it's
00:22:06.280 not just
00:22:06.600 about you
00:22:07.060 it's about
00:22:07.380 the team
00:22:07.860 it's about
00:22:08.160 your
00:22:08.300 responsibilities
00:22:09.040 and of
00:22:10.200 course he
00:22:10.420 admits
00:22:10.760 in the
00:22:11.520 middle of
00:22:11.800 it
00:22:11.880 that okay
00:22:12.300 actually
00:22:12.600 I'm only
00:22:12.880 worried
00:22:13.080 about my
00:22:13.340 own
00:22:13.500 bottom
00:22:13.720 line
00:22:13.980 because
00:22:14.140 it's
00:22:14.240 all I
00:22:14.540 care
00:22:14.720 about
00:22:15.000 that's
00:22:16.100 the real
00:22:16.460 answer
00:22:16.840 but you're
00:22:19.720 doing it
00:22:20.000 for other
00:22:20.320 people
00:22:20.700 no
00:22:23.420 you
00:22:23.880 don't
00:22:24.640 we
00:22:25.720 cannot
00:22:26.180 allow
00:22:26.760 them
00:22:27.040 to get
00:22:27.340 away
00:22:27.680 with
00:22:27.920 flipping
00:22:28.580 this
00:22:28.820 around
00:22:29.060 like
00:22:29.280 this
00:22:29.540 you
00:22:31.720 don't
00:22:32.020 get
00:22:32.180 vaccinated
00:22:32.680 for
00:22:32.860 the
00:22:33.240 vaccine
00:22:33.760 what
00:22:34.860 is
00:22:35.520 supposed
00:22:35.780 to
00:22:36.040 protect
00:22:36.320 you
00:22:36.640 is
00:22:36.900 your
00:22:37.260 vaccine
00:22:37.840 that's
00:22:38.220 what's
00:22:38.380 supposed
00:22:38.600 to
00:22:38.780 protect
00:22:39.060 you
00:22:39.220 not
00:22:39.700 Kyrie Irving's
00:22:40.520 vaccine
00:22:40.900 but your
00:22:41.500 own
00:22:41.800 and if
00:22:43.360 it doesn't
00:22:43.860 protect
00:22:44.220 you
00:22:44.520 then why
00:22:45.160 should
00:22:45.340 Kyrie Irving
00:22:45.840 get it
00:22:46.240 either
00:22:47.260 it protects
00:22:47.720 you or
00:22:48.020 it doesn't
00:22:48.500 if it
00:22:49.760 doesn't
00:22:50.120 then you
00:22:50.320 have no
00:22:50.720 right to
00:22:51.100 sit there
00:22:51.580 and no
00:22:52.380 basis
00:22:53.020 to make
00:22:55.500 the argument
00:22:56.040 for anyone
00:22:57.360 else getting
00:22:57.820 it if you
00:22:58.320 don't believe
00:22:58.680 that it
00:22:58.900 actually protects
00:22:59.460 you
00:22:59.640 all right
00:23:02.920 let's move
00:23:03.420 next to
00:23:04.120 this from
00:23:06.040 the daily
00:23:06.280 wire it
00:23:06.560 says New
00:23:06.780 York City
00:23:07.060 Mayor Bill
00:23:07.540 de Blasio
00:23:07.960 is removing
00:23:08.560 removing a
00:23:09.480 statue of
00:23:09.940 Thomas Jefferson
00:23:10.580 the third
00:23:11.080 president of
00:23:11.560 the United
00:23:11.720 States and a
00:23:12.340 founding father
00:23:12.720 from City
00:23:13.600 Hall after
00:23:14.220 nearly two
00:23:14.820 centuries
00:23:15.380 New York
00:23:17.000 City's public
00:23:17.460 design commission
00:23:18.180 each member
00:23:19.460 of which is
00:23:20.040 appointed by
00:23:20.560 the mayor
00:23:20.820 is planning to
00:23:22.580 loan the
00:23:23.460 Jefferson
00:23:23.740 statue to the
00:23:24.540 New York
00:23:24.780 Historical Society
00:23:25.640 the commission
00:23:27.380 has listed
00:23:27.880 the statue
00:23:28.400 loan under
00:23:29.000 its consent
00:23:29.600 agenda
00:23:30.000 meaning the
00:23:30.360 decision to
00:23:30.740 remove the
00:23:31.040 statue would
00:23:31.460 not be open
00:23:31.960 for public
00:23:32.320 debate
00:23:32.620 and let's
00:23:37.580 see do they
00:23:38.080 even Democratic
00:23:38.980 councilwoman
00:23:39.800 Debbie Rose
00:23:40.500 said last year
00:23:41.400 that Jefferson's
00:23:42.000 ownership of
00:23:42.540 slaves justifies
00:23:43.940 his bus
00:23:44.660 expulsion from
00:23:45.760 City Hall
00:23:46.260 she said in
00:23:47.500 June 2020
00:23:48.220 his words are
00:23:49.860 all men are
00:23:50.500 created equal
00:23:51.100 but they were
00:23:51.620 not matched
00:23:52.120 by his action
00:23:52.840 which included
00:23:53.860 the ability
00:23:54.360 to sell
00:23:54.980 buy
00:23:55.320 mortgage
00:23:55.880 and lease
00:23:56.600 human beings
00:23:57.280 yeah it's
00:23:59.280 it's true
00:23:59.860 that
00:24:00.180 that Thomas
00:24:01.620 Jefferson
00:24:02.040 you know in
00:24:04.740 the in the
00:24:05.280 in the late
00:24:05.940 18th century
00:24:07.680 early 19th
00:24:08.520 century
00:24:08.900 did not
00:24:11.700 fully
00:24:12.220 while he said
00:24:13.460 all all men
00:24:14.180 are created
00:24:14.640 equal
00:24:15.020 he didn't
00:24:16.440 fully live
00:24:17.160 by that
00:24:17.580 that's true
00:24:18.120 maybe he was
00:24:20.900 not he was
00:24:21.260 not he was
00:24:21.640 not he was
00:24:22.380 not perfect
00:24:22.820 it turns out
00:24:23.520 but do you
00:24:27.540 know who
00:24:27.880 else
00:24:28.240 at that
00:24:30.520 point in
00:24:30.840 history
00:24:31.140 didn't
00:24:33.140 fully live
00:24:34.000 by
00:24:34.460 the notion
00:24:36.380 that all
00:24:36.680 men are
00:24:36.920 created equal
00:24:37.420 and didn't
00:24:39.400 fully believe
00:24:39.920 it do you
00:24:40.140 know do you
00:24:40.420 know who
00:24:40.640 else falls
00:24:41.140 into that
00:24:41.520 category
00:24:41.880 well just
00:24:43.440 like everybody
00:24:44.480 else on
00:24:45.100 earth at
00:24:45.420 that point
00:24:45.840 everybody
00:24:47.220 else on
00:24:48.460 earth
00:24:48.740 I mean
00:24:53.300 slavery was
00:24:54.380 of course
00:24:54.740 widespread
00:24:55.260 across the
00:24:55.900 globe at
00:24:56.360 that time
00:24:56.840 especially in
00:24:58.320 non-western
00:24:58.840 countries
00:24:59.300 what makes
00:25:01.220 the west
00:25:01.600 unique in
00:25:02.200 their relationship
00:25:02.680 with slavery
00:25:03.260 is that the
00:25:04.820 west was the
00:25:05.640 first to
00:25:06.020 abolish it
00:25:06.640 was the first
00:25:08.740 to realize that
00:25:09.420 there's something
00:25:09.780 wrong with it
00:25:10.440 but wherever
00:25:13.360 people stood
00:25:13.840 on slavery
00:25:14.420 was there
00:25:16.760 anyone in
00:25:17.260 Jefferson's
00:25:17.700 time who
00:25:18.820 would be
00:25:19.100 considered
00:25:19.400 racially
00:25:19.800 enlightened by
00:25:20.280 our standards
00:25:20.700 today
00:25:20.980 could you go
00:25:22.980 back in time
00:25:23.700 to the year
00:25:24.220 I don't know
00:25:24.580 1800
00:25:24.980 go anywhere
00:25:27.460 on earth
00:25:27.960 anywhere
00:25:29.500 and talk
00:25:30.460 to anyone
00:25:31.240 on the
00:25:31.920 subject of
00:25:32.360 race
00:25:32.660 if you were
00:25:34.980 to do that
00:25:35.360 go anywhere
00:25:35.900 on earth
00:25:36.280 in the year
00:25:36.560 1800 and
00:25:37.160 talk to
00:25:37.520 anyone on
00:25:38.020 the subject
00:25:38.280 of race
00:25:38.820 would you
00:25:39.620 be able
00:25:40.000 to find
00:25:40.480 a single
00:25:41.040 soul
00:25:41.540 on earth
00:25:42.320 who would
00:25:44.460 not be
00:25:45.000 racist
00:25:45.600 by our
00:25:46.600 standards
00:25:47.040 today
00:25:47.400 no you
00:25:49.240 wouldn't
00:25:49.760 not one
00:25:50.980 so this
00:25:54.520 is of course
00:25:55.180 the war
00:25:55.740 in American
00:25:56.120 history
00:25:56.540 which as
00:25:57.660 we've talked
00:25:58.020 about was
00:25:58.280 always destined
00:25:59.320 to go
00:25:59.860 beyond
00:26:00.480 you know
00:26:02.100 we were
00:26:02.360 told we're
00:26:03.100 just taking
00:26:03.460 on confederate
00:26:04.020 statues
00:26:04.440 and then
00:26:05.040 it was
00:26:05.520 we're going
00:26:05.980 to throw
00:26:06.200 Columbus in
00:26:06.780 there too
00:26:07.120 because he
00:26:07.620 was as
00:26:08.500 bad as
00:26:08.920 Hitler
00:26:09.140 it'll stop
00:26:10.200 there
00:26:10.400 it'll stop
00:26:10.800 there
00:26:11.100 it will
00:26:13.360 never stop
00:26:13.900 and I
00:26:17.460 don't think
00:26:17.680 it's going
00:26:17.880 to stop
00:26:18.200 with
00:26:18.460 it starts
00:26:20.020 with all
00:26:20.740 of the
00:26:21.060 white
00:26:21.400 historical
00:26:21.880 figures
00:26:22.360 and by
00:26:24.480 historical
00:26:24.840 figures
00:26:25.140 we mean
00:26:25.840 any
00:26:26.080 white
00:26:26.320 person
00:26:26.680 born
00:26:27.040 before
00:26:27.500 I don't
00:26:27.780 know
00:26:27.900 the year
00:26:28.300 1990
00:26:30.180 it starts
00:26:32.240 with them
00:26:32.440 I don't
00:26:32.640 even think
00:26:33.000 it ends
00:26:33.380 with just
00:26:34.720 the white
00:26:35.080 people
00:26:35.400 I've been
00:26:39.040 predicting
00:26:39.340 for a while
00:26:39.800 and I still
00:26:40.220 predict
00:26:40.540 that I'd
00:26:41.200 say we're
00:26:42.540 I don't
00:26:43.200 know
00:26:43.320 three to
00:26:43.700 four years
00:26:44.140 out
00:26:44.440 maybe five
00:26:45.780 years
00:26:46.060 from when
00:26:47.740 Martin Luther
00:26:49.520 King Jr.
00:26:50.040 gets cancelled
00:26:50.480 that'll
00:26:52.360 happen
00:26:52.660 he wasn't
00:26:56.340 white
00:26:56.760 so that
00:26:57.360 buys him
00:26:58.020 a little
00:26:58.360 bit of
00:26:58.600 time
00:26:58.960 but he
00:27:00.520 was a
00:27:00.820 male
00:27:01.040 and we
00:27:03.760 do know
00:27:04.240 that
00:27:04.560 there's
00:27:06.140 plenty of
00:27:06.600 evidence
00:27:06.900 to suggest
00:27:07.500 that he
00:27:07.840 was
00:27:08.100 not
00:27:09.700 exactly
00:27:09.980 always
00:27:10.340 respectful
00:27:10.760 of
00:27:10.980 women
00:27:11.200 in fact
00:27:14.420 there are
00:27:14.840 credible
00:27:15.400 allegations
00:27:15.840 that he
00:27:16.180 was
00:27:16.460 involved
00:27:17.480 in the
00:27:17.800 abuse
00:27:18.300 of
00:27:18.460 women
00:27:18.660 so
00:27:20.280 they'll
00:27:20.420 get
00:27:20.660 around
00:27:20.920 to
00:27:21.020 him
00:27:21.100 they'll
00:27:21.200 get
00:27:21.280 around
00:27:21.420 to
00:27:21.520 everybody
00:27:21.820 as we
00:27:25.920 say
00:27:26.060 Columbus
00:27:26.440 obviously
00:27:27.040 was
00:27:27.360 he's
00:27:29.000 already
00:27:29.220 long
00:27:29.740 since
00:27:29.960 been
00:27:30.200 cancelled
00:27:30.620 but
00:27:31.160 more
00:27:31.440 from
00:27:31.640 the
00:27:31.780 war
00:27:31.960 on
00:27:32.100 American
00:27:32.360 history
00:27:32.640 Kamala
00:27:33.000 Harris
00:27:33.340 spoke
00:27:33.720 at
00:27:33.920 the
00:27:34.080 National
00:27:34.540 Congress
00:27:35.060 of
00:27:35.300 American
00:27:35.620 Indians
00:27:36.120 it's
00:27:36.600 their
00:27:36.820 78th
00:27:37.620 annual
00:27:37.960 convention
00:27:38.520 this is
00:27:39.380 on
00:27:39.520 Tuesday
00:27:39.880 and
00:27:41.360 she
00:27:41.520 just
00:27:41.720 had
00:27:41.920 one
00:27:42.220 she
00:27:42.360 began
00:27:42.820 of
00:27:43.040 course
00:27:43.360 as
00:27:44.120 they
00:27:44.280 must
00:27:44.560 with
00:27:44.820 one
00:27:45.100 long
00:27:45.460 apology
00:27:46.040 for
00:27:46.540 American
00:27:46.940 history
00:27:47.340 and
00:27:47.740 here's
00:27:48.100 what
00:27:48.200 that
00:27:48.660 since
00:27:50.080 1934
00:27:51.500 every
00:27:52.620 October
00:27:53.160 the
00:27:53.960 United
00:27:54.260 States
00:27:54.600 has
00:27:54.840 recognized
00:27:55.520 the
00:27:56.000 voyage
00:27:56.500 of
00:27:57.000 the
00:27:57.160 European
00:27:57.600 explorers
00:27:58.480 who
00:27:59.080 first
00:27:59.440 landed
00:27:59.860 on
00:28:00.380 the
00:28:00.560 shores
00:28:00.980 of
00:28:01.380 the
00:28:01.500 Americas
00:28:01.960 but
00:28:03.320 that
00:28:03.520 is
00:28:03.680 not
00:28:03.940 the
00:28:04.300 whole
00:28:04.560 story
00:28:05.040 that
00:28:06.060 has
00:28:06.220 never
00:28:06.720 been
00:28:07.620 the
00:28:08.120 whole
00:28:08.440 story
00:28:09.120 those
00:28:10.640 explorers
00:28:11.560 ushered
00:28:12.460 in a
00:28:12.680 wave
00:28:13.000 of
00:28:13.280 devastation
00:28:14.000 for
00:28:14.560 tribal
00:28:14.880 nations
00:28:15.480 perpetrating
00:28:17.120 violence
00:28:17.740 stealing
00:28:18.840 land
00:28:19.360 and
00:28:20.160 spreading
00:28:20.520 disease
00:28:21.140 we
00:28:22.280 must
00:28:22.580 not
00:28:23.020 shy
00:28:23.560 away
00:28:24.060 from
00:28:24.880 this
00:28:25.140 shameful
00:28:25.720 past
00:28:26.540 and
00:28:27.580 we
00:28:27.740 must
00:28:28.060 shed
00:28:28.520 light
00:28:28.800 on it
00:28:29.180 and
00:28:30.020 do
00:28:30.180 everything
00:28:30.620 we
00:28:30.920 can
00:28:31.320 to
00:28:31.880 address
00:28:32.360 the
00:28:32.940 impact
00:28:33.620 of
00:28:33.900 the
00:28:34.060 past
00:28:34.660 on
00:28:35.660 native
00:28:36.040 communities
00:28:36.800 today
00:28:37.500 those
00:28:39.480 dastardly
00:28:40.120 European
00:28:40.520 explorers
00:28:41.240 those
00:28:42.100 bastards
00:28:42.720 bringing
00:28:44.020 civilization
00:28:44.600 to this
00:28:45.180 part of
00:28:45.460 the
00:28:45.540 globe
00:28:45.820 how
00:28:47.540 dare
00:28:47.820 they
00:28:48.080 yeah
00:28:49.560 we
00:28:49.680 ought to
00:28:49.920 apologize
00:28:50.320 for that
00:28:50.720 we really
00:28:51.000 should
00:28:51.340 just like
00:28:53.340 we should
00:28:53.660 and
00:28:53.940 frankly
00:28:54.820 as a
00:28:55.380 white
00:28:55.600 man
00:28:55.900 I
00:28:57.820 would
00:28:58.000 like to
00:28:58.360 apologize
00:28:58.840 for
00:28:59.680 all of
00:29:01.060 the deeds
00:29:01.760 of white
00:29:02.420 western
00:29:02.840 men
00:29:03.200 because
00:29:05.180 white
00:29:05.340 western
00:29:05.580 men
00:29:05.760 have
00:29:05.860 done
00:29:05.980 a lot
00:29:06.200 of
00:29:06.280 terrible
00:29:06.460 things
00:29:06.640 including
00:29:06.920 bringing
00:29:07.200 civilization
00:29:07.700 to this
00:29:08.000 part of
00:29:08.240 the
00:29:08.320 globe
00:29:08.540 you know
00:29:08.900 I guess
00:29:10.760 they never
00:29:11.360 should have
00:29:11.640 come
00:29:11.900 I guess
00:29:13.140 that's
00:29:13.580 the
00:29:13.820 stance
00:29:14.800 people like
00:29:15.300 Kamala Harris
00:29:15.740 they never
00:29:16.640 should have
00:29:16.900 come
00:29:17.080 civilization
00:29:18.760 should have
00:29:19.420 stopped
00:29:20.320 should have
00:29:21.340 stopped
00:29:21.640 dead on
00:29:22.120 the other
00:29:22.420 side of
00:29:22.760 the Atlantic
00:29:23.160 and never
00:29:24.320 traveled
00:29:24.820 across
00:29:25.340 you know
00:29:29.060 and then
00:29:29.260 it'd be a
00:29:29.800 utopia
00:29:30.180 here
00:29:30.560 indigenous
00:29:32.560 tribes
00:29:32.960 were
00:29:33.200 3,000
00:29:33.900 years
00:29:34.340 behind
00:29:36.400 you know
00:29:39.220 behind
00:29:39.900 civilization
00:29:41.880 and it
00:29:46.020 should have
00:29:46.260 stayed that
00:29:48.500 way
00:29:48.720 where you've
00:29:51.000 got one
00:29:51.460 side of
00:29:51.940 the globe
00:29:52.440 advancing
00:29:53.120 and everything
00:29:53.860 and then
00:29:54.500 this entire
00:29:55.540 part of
00:29:56.560 the globe
00:29:57.040 is just
00:29:57.460 left
00:29:57.860 to be
00:29:58.860 in the
00:29:59.080 stone
00:29:59.300 age
00:29:59.580 that's
00:30:00.540 what should
00:30:01.120 have
00:30:01.240 happened
00:30:01.500 right
00:30:01.740 so we
00:30:04.360 should
00:30:04.460 apologize
00:30:04.880 I think
00:30:05.460 also
00:30:05.680 as a
00:30:05.920 white
00:30:06.120 western
00:30:06.760 man
00:30:06.960 I should
00:30:07.200 apologize
00:30:07.600 for
00:30:08.180 you know
00:30:09.160 modern
00:30:09.520 medicine
00:30:10.100 apologize
00:30:11.600 for science
00:30:12.420 for space
00:30:12.940 travel
00:30:13.340 for electricity
00:30:14.040 for air
00:30:14.520 conditioning
00:30:14.920 for democracy
00:30:16.100 for automobiles
00:30:17.120 for airplanes
00:30:17.760 for human
00:30:18.240 rights
00:30:18.520 for computers
00:30:19.120 for plumbing
00:30:19.620 for the
00:30:20.060 printing press
00:30:20.660 all of
00:30:22.660 all of those
00:30:22.820 terrible deeds
00:30:23.920 of white
00:30:24.320 western
00:30:24.580 men
00:30:24.760 I apologize
00:30:25.220 for all
00:30:25.620 of that
00:30:25.800 but
00:30:26.060 I want to
00:30:28.400 make one
00:30:28.640 other point
00:30:28.960 about this
00:30:29.420 because
00:30:31.120 you know
00:30:32.840 one of the
00:30:33.180 other problems
00:30:33.820 here with
00:30:34.240 all of this
00:30:34.700 constant
00:30:35.080 apologizing
00:30:35.960 and the
00:30:36.340 way that
00:30:36.780 this clash
00:30:37.400 of civilizations
00:30:38.280 European
00:30:39.660 versus
00:30:40.460 the
00:30:42.000 indigenous
00:30:43.000 tribes
00:30:43.600 one of the
00:30:44.700 other problems
00:30:45.120 with the way
00:30:45.540 that it's
00:30:45.820 presented
00:30:46.160 is that
00:30:48.260 yeah
00:30:49.380 we've talked
00:30:49.800 about how
00:30:50.300 the Europeans
00:30:51.280 are turned
00:30:52.120 into these
00:30:52.520 cartoonish
00:30:53.360 villains
00:30:54.340 in this
00:30:54.820 black and
00:30:55.240 white
00:30:55.440 scenario
00:30:55.960 but also
00:30:57.680 we make
00:30:58.280 the Indian
00:30:59.020 tribes
00:30:59.560 into these
00:31:01.100 sort of
00:31:01.380 lame
00:31:02.020 victims
00:31:03.740 when
00:31:06.120 really
00:31:06.920 they weren't
00:31:07.900 yeah
00:31:10.220 in terms
00:31:11.040 of
00:31:11.320 technological
00:31:12.120 advancement
00:31:12.800 and
00:31:13.540 you know
00:31:14.680 philosophy
00:31:15.920 and government
00:31:16.520 and
00:31:16.940 in every
00:31:18.580 other way
00:31:19.020 they were
00:31:19.300 far behind
00:31:20.060 most of
00:31:21.200 the rest
00:31:21.480 of the
00:31:21.680 world
00:31:22.000 but
00:31:23.260 even
00:31:23.860 so
00:31:24.380 I mean
00:31:25.420 take
00:31:25.640 for example
00:31:26.320 the Comanche
00:31:26.840 tribe
00:31:27.200 just as
00:31:27.840 one example
00:31:28.620 one of the
00:31:29.160 tribes of the
00:31:29.620 Great
00:31:29.860 Great Plains
00:31:30.440 and there
00:31:32.700 was
00:31:32.840 I've told you
00:31:33.420 before
00:31:33.640 about a
00:31:34.160 great book
00:31:34.660 written by
00:31:35.060 the author
00:31:35.720 S.C.
00:31:36.460 Gwynn
00:31:36.820 who has
00:31:37.240 several
00:31:38.180 really good
00:31:38.560 history books
00:31:39.040 including one
00:31:39.480 about Stonewall
00:31:40.120 Jackson
00:31:40.460 called Rebel
00:31:41.200 Yell that you
00:31:41.580 should read
00:31:41.820 but he wrote
00:31:42.520 a book called
00:31:42.980 Empire of the
00:31:43.720 Summer Moon
00:31:44.120 and this is
00:31:45.800 about the
00:31:46.080 Comanche
00:31:46.320 tribe
00:31:46.640 focusing
00:31:47.440 primarily
00:31:48.140 on the
00:31:49.080 Indian
00:31:49.340 wards
00:31:49.720 which were
00:31:50.300 not in
00:31:50.740 Columbus's
00:31:51.160 time of
00:31:51.440 course
00:31:51.580 this was
00:31:51.860 in the
00:31:52.460 mid to
00:31:54.060 late
00:31:54.220 19th
00:31:54.680 century
00:31:55.000 but the
00:31:55.600 Comanche
00:31:55.920 tribe
00:31:56.360 very
00:31:57.800 impressive
00:31:58.320 and a
00:32:00.000 very
00:32:00.160 impressive
00:32:00.840 and interesting
00:32:01.520 history
00:32:02.040 you know
00:32:04.420 they were
00:32:04.700 masters of
00:32:06.300 the horse
00:32:06.660 the Spanish
00:32:07.380 brought
00:32:07.800 I mean
00:32:08.020 the horses
00:32:08.460 are not
00:32:09.700 indigenous
00:32:10.560 to this
00:32:11.060 part of
00:32:11.320 the globe
00:32:11.680 so the
00:32:12.980 Indian
00:32:13.160 tribes
00:32:13.440 didn't
00:32:13.620 have
00:32:13.820 them
00:32:13.940 until
00:32:14.080 the
00:32:14.240 Spanish
00:32:14.500 brought
00:32:14.760 them
00:32:14.920 over
00:32:15.120 in the
00:32:15.460 16th
00:32:16.120 century
00:32:16.440 and that
00:32:17.900 just
00:32:18.260 revolutionized
00:32:19.380 so many
00:32:20.400 things
00:32:20.840 among the
00:32:22.340 Indian
00:32:22.600 tribes
00:32:22.980 and the
00:32:23.380 Comanches
00:32:23.800 many of the
00:32:24.680 tribes in the
00:32:25.060 Great Plains
00:32:25.520 became masters
00:32:26.300 of the horse
00:32:26.940 even more so
00:32:28.380 than the
00:32:29.480 Europeans
00:32:29.820 the Comanches
00:32:30.280 especially
00:32:30.760 what they were
00:32:32.300 able to do
00:32:32.900 with a horse
00:32:33.580 riding bareback
00:32:34.520 on the horse
00:32:34.900 is like
00:32:35.080 something out
00:32:35.520 of an action
00:32:36.580 film
00:32:36.860 what they were
00:32:37.260 able to do
00:32:37.740 and they
00:32:40.560 had this
00:32:40.900 entire
00:32:41.400 empire
00:32:41.940 but they
00:32:44.380 were also
00:32:44.840 a brutal
00:32:45.740 warfaring
00:32:47.520 violent
00:32:48.860 people
00:32:49.280 and they
00:32:52.200 struck terror
00:32:53.240 in the
00:32:53.840 hearts
00:32:54.340 and minds
00:32:55.240 of other
00:32:56.000 tribes around
00:32:56.620 them and
00:32:57.040 also the
00:32:57.640 white settlers
00:32:58.840 whose settlements
00:33:01.400 they would
00:33:01.860 often raid
00:33:03.200 and murder
00:33:04.560 everyone
00:33:04.960 take a
00:33:05.560 kidnap
00:33:06.420 and enslave
00:33:06.920 people
00:33:07.260 that's
00:33:10.680 part of
00:33:11.560 the story
00:33:12.080 but
00:33:15.340 when
00:33:15.680 you know
00:33:16.240 with the
00:33:17.240 way that
00:33:17.540 the Indians
00:33:17.880 are presented
00:33:18.540 people like
00:33:20.220 Kamail Harris
00:33:20.720 they don't
00:33:21.320 want to
00:33:21.540 talk about
00:33:21.880 that stuff
00:33:22.360 they don't
00:33:22.580 want to
00:33:22.780 tell you
00:33:23.100 about
00:33:23.420 the raids
00:33:24.320 that they
00:33:24.600 would do
00:33:24.940 the violence
00:33:25.560 and everything
00:33:26.040 they want
00:33:26.680 to leave
00:33:27.000 all of that
00:33:27.540 out
00:33:27.900 but then
00:33:30.760 in the
00:33:31.140 process
00:33:31.640 by sanitizing
00:33:33.280 this history
00:33:34.820 and by
00:33:35.260 sanitizing
00:33:36.060 these people
00:33:36.740 and their
00:33:37.560 culture
00:33:37.920 you end
00:33:38.400 with something
00:33:38.860 that's just
00:33:39.260 kind of
00:33:39.980 lame
00:33:41.500 and
00:33:41.840 uninteresting
00:33:42.740 you turn
00:33:45.820 all of the
00:33:46.260 Indian tribes
00:33:46.780 into a bunch
00:33:47.160 of just
00:33:47.480 these sort
00:33:47.820 of like
00:33:48.020 loser
00:33:48.380 victims
00:33:49.060 who are
00:33:52.080 sitting around
00:33:53.140 utterly helpless
00:33:54.040 until the
00:33:54.720 big bad
00:33:55.600 Europeans
00:33:56.060 came in
00:33:56.600 and wiped
00:33:57.720 them all
00:33:58.080 out
00:33:58.400 all at
00:33:59.120 once
00:33:59.400 when in
00:34:01.860 fact
00:34:02.000 this was
00:34:02.280 a violent
00:34:02.880 clash
00:34:03.240 of
00:34:03.380 civilizations
00:34:03.860 that
00:34:04.180 went
00:34:04.380 on
00:34:04.600 for
00:34:04.780 centuries
00:34:05.500 and
00:34:07.660 many
00:34:07.960 of
00:34:08.080 these
00:34:08.220 Indian
00:34:08.440 tribes
00:34:08.720 especially
00:34:09.160 the
00:34:09.360 Comanches
00:34:09.700 and others
00:34:10.440 were more
00:34:11.280 than able
00:34:11.580 to hold
00:34:11.860 their own
00:34:12.140 for quite
00:34:12.540 a long
00:34:12.780 time
00:34:13.120 because
00:34:15.800 they knew
00:34:16.260 how to
00:34:16.540 wage war
00:34:17.100 because
00:34:17.360 they had
00:34:17.640 been doing
00:34:18.060 it for
00:34:18.400 centuries
00:34:18.780 before
00:34:19.180 the
00:34:19.380 Europeans
00:34:19.720 came
00:34:20.040 so it's
00:34:23.000 a fascinating
00:34:24.140 period of
00:34:24.720 history
00:34:25.060 with
00:34:26.600 fascinating
00:34:27.220 figures
00:34:27.680 on both
00:34:28.240 sides
00:34:28.600 of it
00:34:28.920 and
00:34:30.760 you just
00:34:31.660 lose all
00:34:32.080 that
00:34:32.280 when you
00:34:32.540 try to
00:34:32.980 sanitize
00:34:33.440 it
00:34:33.680 all right
00:34:36.400 let's
00:34:36.780 move on
00:34:37.400 Nancy Pelosi
00:34:38.200 was asked
00:34:39.260 yesterday
00:34:39.660 about this
00:34:40.120 IRS plan
00:34:40.940 which you've
00:34:41.280 heard about
00:34:41.520 on this
00:34:41.740 show
00:34:41.900 because we've
00:34:42.240 been talking
00:34:42.580 about it
00:34:43.220 the small
00:34:44.820 little issue
00:34:45.460 of the
00:34:46.240 Biden
00:34:46.760 administration
00:34:47.200 trying to
00:34:48.260 remove
00:34:48.680 and erase
00:34:49.700 our financial
00:34:50.380 freedom
00:34:51.880 and privacy
00:34:52.320 all together
00:34:52.780 by monitoring
00:34:53.380 all of our
00:34:53.920 bank accounts
00:34:54.520 almost all
00:34:54.940 of our
00:34:55.080 bank accounts
00:34:55.560 it would be
00:34:56.420 something like
00:34:56.740 100 million
00:34:57.320 bank accounts
00:34:57.900 they'd be
00:34:58.180 monitoring
00:34:58.600 that have
00:34:59.620 transactions
00:35:00.200 of over
00:35:00.540 $600
00:35:00.900 Nancy Pelosi
00:35:02.940 was asked
00:35:03.360 about it
00:35:03.640 at a press
00:35:03.880 conference
00:35:04.060 here's what
00:35:04.340 she said
00:35:04.660 one of the
00:35:06.840 pay-fors
00:35:07.440 in the
00:35:07.840 Build Back
00:35:08.240 Better bill
00:35:08.860 that's been
00:35:09.300 proposed
00:35:09.880 is IRS
00:35:11.140 cracking down
00:35:12.300 on some
00:35:12.680 unpaid taxes
00:35:13.360 banks are
00:35:14.580 starting to get
00:35:15.320 calls from
00:35:15.920 customers
00:35:16.400 and they're
00:35:16.680 reporting these
00:35:17.240 calls
00:35:17.480 they're concerned
00:35:18.480 about this
00:35:19.140 cracking of
00:35:20.140 transactions
00:35:21.360 that is
00:35:21.760 greater than
00:35:22.360 $600
00:35:22.920 so Americans
00:35:24.680 are starting
00:35:25.160 to be worried
00:35:25.760 about this
00:35:26.220 do you think
00:35:27.140 that this
00:35:27.840 pay-for
00:35:28.720 of giving
00:35:29.600 the IRS
00:35:30.000 more money
00:35:30.560 to crack
00:35:30.920 down on
00:35:31.240 unpaid taxes
00:35:32.460 is going
00:35:34.020 to stay
00:35:34.420 in the
00:35:34.640 reconciliation
00:35:34.960 zone
00:35:35.400 what do you
00:35:35.940 say
00:35:36.240 to Americans
00:35:37.580 who are
00:35:37.940 concerned about
00:35:38.560 that
00:35:38.760 yes
00:35:39.020 I mean
00:35:40.100 with all
00:35:40.800 due
00:35:40.920 respect
00:35:41.480 the plural
00:35:42.880 of anecdote
00:35:43.460 is not
00:35:43.980 data
00:35:44.360 I've said
00:35:45.100 that before
00:35:45.660 here
00:35:46.000 yes there
00:35:46.940 are concerns
00:35:47.680 that some
00:35:48.080 people have
00:35:48.820 but if people
00:35:49.660 are breaking
00:35:50.200 the law
00:35:50.620 and not
00:35:51.000 paying their
00:35:51.500 taxes
00:35:51.960 one way
00:35:52.840 to track
00:35:53.420 them
00:35:53.680 is through
00:35:54.560 the banking
00:35:55.040 measure
00:35:55.440 I think
00:35:55.860 $600
00:35:56.400 but that's
00:35:57.520 a negotiation
00:35:58.300 that will
00:35:59.340 go on
00:35:59.780 as to what
00:36:00.280 the amount
00:36:00.720 is
00:36:01.100 but yes
00:36:02.060 $600
00:36:04.040 so it's
00:36:04.920 part of the
00:36:05.280 negotiation
00:36:05.840 but she
00:36:06.320 she thinks
00:36:07.120 we need
00:36:07.340 to find
00:36:07.740 the high
00:36:08.060 income
00:36:08.280 earners
00:36:08.680 who are
00:36:09.320 not paying
00:36:09.800 their taxes
00:36:10.340 and $600
00:36:12.060 is
00:36:12.380 maybe it'll
00:36:13.280 be $700
00:36:13.840 we're looking
00:36:15.380 for the
00:36:15.640 high income
00:36:16.180 earners
00:36:16.480 so we're
00:36:16.680 going to
00:36:16.800 start in
00:36:17.120 the hundreds
00:36:17.560 of dollars
00:36:18.180 which again
00:36:19.080 that's
00:36:19.340 $100 million
00:36:20.340 I think
00:36:20.640 that's
00:36:20.820 the number
00:36:21.060 that I
00:36:21.340 saw
00:36:21.600 $100 million
00:36:23.160 households
00:36:23.600 would be
00:36:24.220 affected
00:36:24.480 by this
00:36:24.920 that's
00:36:26.980 $100 million
00:36:29.000 is that
00:36:29.380 that's still
00:36:30.380 the top
00:36:30.700 1%
00:36:31.280 $100 million
00:36:31.880 how many
00:36:33.500 people are
00:36:33.800 in this
00:36:34.040 country
00:36:34.280 billions
00:36:34.760 no
00:36:37.520 what's
00:36:37.720 actually
00:36:37.980 happening
00:36:38.260 here is
00:36:39.200 who is
00:36:39.480 really
00:36:40.060 being
00:36:40.340 targeted
00:36:40.760 and
00:36:42.700 this is
00:36:43.140 who
00:36:43.240 they
00:36:43.400 really
00:36:44.100 must
00:36:44.380 be
00:36:44.560 looking
00:36:44.780 for
00:36:45.000 because
00:36:45.200 if
00:36:45.320 they
00:36:45.420 were
00:36:45.580 actually
00:36:46.080 looking
00:36:46.620 for
00:36:47.360 the
00:36:47.520 billionaires
00:36:48.100 then
00:36:49.040 they
00:36:49.360 would
00:36:49.520 be
00:36:49.900 they'd
00:36:50.540 be
00:36:50.660 setting
00:36:50.920 the
00:36:51.180 threshold
00:36:51.660 at
00:36:52.040 transactions
00:36:52.600 of
00:36:53.060 $60,000
00:36:54.280 in a
00:36:55.340 month
00:36:55.560 or something
00:36:55.940 like
00:36:56.160 that
00:36:56.420 but
00:36:59.200 they're
00:36:59.420 not
00:36:59.720 and
00:36:59.940 there's
00:37:00.120 a
00:37:00.220 reason
00:37:00.420 for
00:37:00.660 that
00:37:00.940 and
00:37:03.160 the real
00:37:03.500 reason
00:37:03.860 is that
00:37:04.280 this is
00:37:04.620 their
00:37:04.800 excuse
00:37:05.240 to
00:37:05.680 put
00:37:06.140 almost
00:37:06.740 the
00:37:06.920 entire
00:37:07.160 country
00:37:07.540 under
00:37:07.900 a
00:37:08.140 permanent
00:37:08.480 IRS
00:37:08.880 audit
00:37:09.260 and
00:37:10.580 to
00:37:10.680 be
00:37:10.780 able
00:37:10.940 to
00:37:11.080 track
00:37:11.380 everything
00:37:12.240 we're
00:37:12.560 doing
00:37:12.720 all the
00:37:13.000 money
00:37:13.180 that's
00:37:13.380 coming in
00:37:13.700 and out
00:37:13.920 of our
00:37:14.120 accounts
00:37:14.380 that's
00:37:15.920 the real
00:37:16.100 reason
00:37:16.280 but who
00:37:16.720 are they
00:37:16.960 actually
00:37:17.360 going to
00:37:17.740 be
00:37:17.920 finding
00:37:18.760 who are
00:37:20.100 the
00:37:20.500 so-called
00:37:21.340 tax
00:37:21.740 cheats
00:37:22.220 that
00:37:23.600 they're
00:37:25.280 going to
00:37:25.660 be
00:37:25.860 primarily
00:37:26.340 exposing
00:37:28.540 here
00:37:28.820 well
00:37:29.480 it's
00:37:30.060 going to
00:37:30.160 be
00:37:30.260 people
00:37:30.540 in
00:37:30.720 the
00:37:31.720 so-called
00:37:32.820 gig
00:37:33.160 economy
00:37:33.620 waiters
00:37:36.000 landscapers
00:37:39.140 people who
00:37:41.320 mow
00:37:41.580 lawns
00:37:41.960 babysitters
00:37:42.700 it's
00:37:44.920 going to
00:37:45.060 be
00:37:45.160 people
00:37:45.360 like
00:37:45.580 that
00:37:45.960 very
00:37:48.180 much
00:37:48.420 middle
00:37:48.780 class
00:37:49.360 income
00:37:51.200 wise
00:37:51.740 lower
00:37:52.220 middle
00:37:52.500 class
00:37:52.940 people
00:37:53.500 who
00:37:55.780 get
00:37:56.100 you know
00:37:56.560 they
00:37:57.080 a lot
00:37:57.900 of
00:37:58.000 times
00:37:58.220 they
00:37:58.360 get
00:37:58.500 paid
00:37:58.720 under
00:37:58.900 the
00:37:59.060 table
00:37:59.400 they
00:38:01.120 make
00:38:01.260 a lot
00:38:01.440 of
00:38:01.520 money
00:38:01.680 off
00:38:01.840 the
00:38:01.920 table
00:38:02.000 they
00:38:02.220 don't
00:38:02.420 always
00:38:03.180 declare
00:38:03.620 they
00:38:05.360 get
00:38:05.500 paid
00:38:05.720 in
00:38:05.860 cash
00:38:06.180 they
00:38:06.340 deposit
00:38:06.740 it
00:38:07.080 doesn't
00:38:09.260 always
00:38:09.500 show
00:38:09.760 up
00:38:10.020 there's
00:38:10.740 not
00:38:11.080 a
00:38:11.620 W-2
00:38:12.240 for
00:38:13.120 it
00:38:13.360 and
00:38:14.240 they're
00:38:14.720 not
00:38:14.880 always
00:38:15.160 declaring
00:38:15.660 it
00:38:15.920 as
00:38:16.120 1099
00:38:16.880 income
00:38:17.280 and all
00:38:17.520 that
00:38:17.640 kind
00:38:17.780 of
00:38:17.860 stuff
00:38:18.100 those
00:38:20.220 are
00:38:20.320 the
00:38:20.400 people
00:38:20.540 that
00:38:20.640 are
00:38:20.700 being
00:38:20.820 targeted
00:38:21.200 that's
00:38:23.340 what
00:38:23.400 they're
00:38:23.500 fighting
00:38:23.640 they're
00:38:23.920 not
00:38:24.240 fighting
00:38:25.200 Bill
00:38:25.560 Gates
00:38:25.860 here
00:38:26.120 that's
00:38:29.700 not
00:38:29.800 who
00:38:29.900 they're
00:38:30.020 going to
00:38:30.100 be
00:38:30.200 bringing
00:38:30.440 to
00:38:30.620 justice
00:38:30.880 they're
00:38:31.100 bringing
00:38:31.360 your
00:38:31.780 babysitter
00:38:32.400 to
00:38:32.600 justice
00:38:32.940 here
00:38:33.160 that's
00:38:33.440 what
00:38:33.520 they're
00:38:33.640 doing
00:38:33.920 which
00:38:36.320 brings
00:38:36.500 me
00:38:36.600 to
00:38:36.660 my
00:38:36.780 next
00:38:37.000 question
00:38:37.400 which
00:38:37.620 is
00:38:37.880 where
00:38:39.060 are
00:38:39.260 the
00:38:39.420 Republicans
00:38:39.940 on
00:38:40.380 this
00:38:40.700 but
00:38:42.100 I've
00:38:42.600 heard
00:38:42.820 a few
00:38:44.260 Republicans
00:38:44.720 speaking
00:38:45.120 out
00:38:45.400 but
00:38:48.100 how
00:38:48.420 are
00:38:48.580 they
00:38:48.720 not
00:38:49.000 all
00:38:49.420 in
00:38:49.640 one
00:38:50.060 voice
00:38:50.620 crying
00:38:51.100 out
00:38:51.440 against
00:38:51.860 this
00:38:52.120 how
00:38:52.300 is
00:38:52.480 this
00:38:52.680 not
00:38:53.060 the
00:38:54.120 subject
00:38:54.520 of
00:38:54.840 immense
00:38:55.580 outrage
00:38:57.180 how
00:38:58.340 is
00:38:58.440 this
00:38:58.540 not
00:38:58.700 at
00:38:59.060 least
00:38:59.220 a
00:38:59.400 subject
00:38:59.660 of
00:39:00.060 discussion
00:39:01.340 even
00:39:02.020 on
00:39:02.180 the
00:39:02.320 right
00:39:02.640 you
00:39:06.920 know
00:39:06.980 this
00:39:07.480 is
00:39:07.600 one
00:39:07.740 of
00:39:07.800 those
00:39:07.880 issues
00:39:08.060 where
00:39:08.200 I
00:39:08.280 kind
00:39:08.400 of
00:39:08.480 feel
00:39:08.660 like
00:39:08.880 just
00:39:09.200 like
00:39:09.380 with
00:39:09.540 the
00:39:09.680 sexual
00:39:09.940 abuse
00:39:10.200 epidemic
00:39:10.560 in
00:39:10.760 schools
00:39:10.980 I
00:39:11.100 felt
00:39:11.200 like
00:39:11.300 I
00:39:11.360 was
00:39:11.440 talking
00:39:11.700 to
00:39:11.820 a
00:39:11.900 brick
00:39:12.060 wall
00:39:12.280 for
00:39:12.440 years
00:39:12.620 I
00:39:12.720 kind
00:39:12.880 of
00:39:15.400 I
00:39:16.040 mean
00:39:16.120 I
00:39:16.240 can't
00:39:16.440 be
00:39:16.540 the
00:39:16.720 only
00:39:16.960 one
00:39:17.180 who
00:39:17.320 sees
00:39:17.580 this
00:39:17.760 as
00:39:17.980 a
00:39:18.160 big
00:39:18.760 deal
00:39:19.800 the
00:39:20.360 vaccine
00:39:20.900 mandates
00:39:21.440 are
00:39:22.120 a
00:39:22.260 big
00:39:22.420 deal
00:39:22.720 that's
00:39:23.440 horrible
00:39:23.740 this
00:39:24.340 is
00:39:24.540 worse
00:39:24.980 than
00:39:25.240 that
00:39:25.520 okay
00:39:27.900 we
00:39:28.040 don't
00:39:28.300 need
00:39:28.420 to
00:39:28.540 get
00:39:28.660 into
00:39:28.880 ranking
00:39:29.340 which
00:39:29.660 is
00:39:29.820 worse
00:39:30.080 in
00:39:30.220 terms
00:39:30.420 of
00:39:30.560 tyranny
00:39:30.880 but
00:39:31.180 this
00:39:31.780 is
00:39:31.940 worse
00:39:32.280 this
00:39:34.120 is
00:39:34.260 the
00:39:34.400 IRS
00:39:34.660 accessing
00:39:35.220 your
00:39:35.420 bank
00:39:35.620 account
00:39:36.020 without
00:39:36.880 a
00:39:37.180 warrant
00:39:37.540 permanently
00:39:38.340 and
00:39:41.780 Republicans
00:39:42.160 are
00:39:42.380 just
00:39:42.580 off
00:39:42.820 twiddling
00:39:43.200 their
00:39:43.540 thumbs
00:39:43.860 they'll
00:39:47.260 monitor
00:39:47.660 the
00:39:47.820 situation
00:39:48.280 just
00:39:48.840 like
00:39:48.940 the
00:39:49.040 IRS
00:39:49.300 will
00:39:49.420 be
00:39:49.540 monitoring
00:39:49.880 our
00:39:50.060 bank
00:39:50.220 account
00:39:50.460 soon
00:39:50.680 enough
00:39:50.880 they're
00:39:51.060 going
00:39:51.120 to
00:39:51.220 monitor
00:39:51.520 the
00:39:51.700 situation
00:39:52.240 and
00:39:52.740 once
00:39:54.400 this
00:39:54.680 policy
00:39:55.060 is
00:39:55.220 actually
00:39:55.520 in
00:39:55.720 place
00:39:56.060 then
00:39:56.540 maybe
00:39:56.780 they'll
00:39:56.980 hold
00:39:57.180 a
00:39:57.300 hearing
00:39:57.540 about
00:39:57.740 it
00:39:57.860 I
00:39:58.140 think
00:39:58.260 that's
00:39:58.420 what
00:39:58.500 they're
00:39:58.600 waiting
00:39:58.760 for
00:39:58.880 wait
00:39:59.400 for
00:39:59.540 the
00:39:59.660 policy
00:39:59.920 to
00:40:00.040 be
00:40:00.140 in
00:40:00.280 place
00:40:00.680 and
00:40:01.240 then
00:40:01.640 they'll
00:40:01.960 speak
00:40:02.200 up
00:40:02.340 against
00:40:02.600 it
00:40:02.800 when
00:40:03.040 there's
00:40:03.200 nothing
00:40:03.500 that
00:40:03.640 can
00:40:03.720 be
00:40:03.820 done
00:40:03.960 about
00:40:04.160 it
00:40:04.780 wait
00:40:06.580 for
00:40:06.700 the
00:40:08.860 presidential
00:40:11.400 election
00:40:11.920 then
00:40:12.740 the
00:40:12.860 Republican
00:40:13.100 presidents
00:40:13.440 can
00:40:13.620 campaign
00:40:14.060 against
00:40:14.400 it
00:40:14.660 so
00:40:16.800 that's
00:40:16.960 what's
00:40:17.060 going to
00:40:17.240 happen
00:40:17.420 this
00:40:17.600 policy
00:40:17.940 will
00:40:18.300 be
00:40:18.420 put
00:40:18.640 in
00:40:18.780 place
00:40:19.180 but
00:40:21.340 Republicans
00:40:22.180 won't
00:40:22.560 really
00:40:22.760 start
00:40:22.980 speaking
00:40:23.280 out
00:40:23.480 against
00:40:23.820 it
00:40:24.080 until
00:40:24.680 late
00:40:25.420 2023
00:40:26.560 right in
00:40:31.000 time for
00:40:31.220 the
00:40:31.300 presidential
00:40:31.580 election
00:40:31.940 and
00:40:34.260 another
00:40:35.020 seamless
00:40:35.340 transition
00:40:35.740 here
00:40:35.880 speaking
00:40:36.180 of
00:40:36.340 presidential
00:40:36.700 elections
00:40:37.100 here's
00:40:37.420 a
00:40:37.560 statement
00:40:37.860 from
00:40:38.240 President
00:40:38.620 Trump
00:40:38.880 that
00:40:39.020 he
00:40:39.080 just
00:40:39.220 put
00:40:39.400 out
00:40:39.640 of
00:40:40.480 course
00:40:40.580 he's
00:40:40.740 banned
00:40:40.980 from
00:40:41.140 all
00:40:41.280 social
00:40:41.540 media
00:40:41.800 platforms
00:40:42.320 so
00:40:42.480 he has
00:40:42.660 to
00:40:42.780 sort
00:40:43.420 of
00:40:43.540 do
00:40:43.700 it
00:40:43.860 he
00:40:44.640 puts
00:40:44.860 out
00:40:45.000 statements
00:40:45.380 which
00:40:45.620 would
00:40:46.040 have
00:40:46.160 been
00:40:46.280 his
00:40:46.480 tweets
00:40:46.740 if
00:40:46.880 he
00:40:46.960 was
00:40:47.080 allowed
00:40:47.280 on
00:40:47.420 Twitter
00:40:47.640 and
00:40:48.700 here's
00:40:48.920 a
00:40:49.020 statement
00:40:49.220 he put
00:40:49.440 out
00:40:49.560 yesterday
00:40:49.940 it
00:40:50.380 says
00:40:50.660 if
00:40:50.820 we
00:40:50.920 don't
00:40:51.100 solve
00:40:51.360 the
00:40:51.480 presidential
00:40:51.800 election
00:40:52.180 fraud
00:40:52.600 of
00:40:52.760 2020
00:40:53.160 which
00:41:01.940 Republicans
00:41:02.280 to
00:41:02.560 do
00:41:02.760 now
00:41:05.100 listen
00:41:05.980 I
00:41:10.500 believe
00:41:10.980 Republicans
00:41:11.420 need
00:41:11.760 to
00:41:12.080 fight
00:41:12.660 it's
00:41:13.540 what
00:41:13.640 I
00:41:13.740 was
00:41:13.880 just
00:41:14.080 talking
00:41:14.420 about
00:41:14.740 but
00:41:16.440 you
00:41:16.520 also
00:41:16.740 have
00:41:16.940 to
00:41:17.080 fight
00:41:17.400 smart
00:41:18.060 and
00:41:19.820 so
00:41:19.940 any
00:41:20.260 time
00:41:20.760 you're
00:41:20.920 thinking
00:41:21.200 about
00:41:21.600 okay
00:41:21.900 here's
00:41:22.160 a
00:41:22.320 battle
00:41:22.900 plan
00:41:23.300 here's
00:41:24.280 something
00:41:24.500 we're
00:41:24.720 going
00:41:24.820 to
00:41:24.920 do
00:41:25.160 as
00:41:25.940 Republicans
00:41:26.740 as
00:41:26.980 conservatives
00:41:27.460 then
00:41:29.860 you
00:41:30.280 got
00:41:30.380 to
00:41:30.480 think
00:41:30.680 how
00:41:33.380 would
00:41:33.620 the
00:41:33.740 left
00:41:33.920 feel
00:41:34.160 about
00:41:34.380 this
00:41:34.700 and
00:41:37.580 so
00:41:37.720 if
00:41:37.820 you've
00:41:38.000 got
00:41:38.120 a
00:41:38.240 battle
00:41:38.500 plan
00:41:38.780 in
00:41:38.920 mind
00:41:39.080 and
00:41:39.200 you're
00:41:39.340 planning
00:41:39.620 to
00:41:39.780 do
00:41:39.940 something
00:41:40.320 and
00:41:41.660 the
00:41:41.800 left
00:41:42.000 would
00:41:42.180 love
00:41:42.480 it
00:41:42.840 it's
00:41:44.560 probably
00:41:45.020 not
00:41:45.260 a
00:41:45.360 good
00:41:45.480 plan
00:41:45.860 and
00:41:47.440 so
00:41:47.560 for
00:41:47.800 President
00:41:48.460 Trump
00:41:48.740 to be
00:41:49.200 encouraging
00:41:49.800 people
00:41:50.340 to
00:41:51.080 not
00:41:51.580 vote
00:41:52.300 in
00:41:52.740 elections
00:41:53.140 we
00:41:54.060 saw
00:41:54.240 how
00:41:54.400 that
00:41:54.520 worked
00:41:54.700 out
00:41:54.820 in
00:41:54.980 Georgia
00:41:55.300 how
00:41:56.840 does
00:41:56.960 it
00:41:57.040 work
00:41:57.200 out
00:41:57.340 you
00:41:57.480 lose
00:41:57.760 the
00:41:57.960 Senate
00:41:58.240 do
00:42:00.400 you
00:42:00.480 think
00:42:00.680 so
00:42:01.020 that
00:42:01.140 was
00:42:01.240 that
00:42:01.380 was
00:42:01.480 the
00:42:01.580 big
00:42:01.700 plan
00:42:01.960 in
00:42:02.100 Georgia
00:42:02.280 we're
00:42:02.600 not
00:42:02.740 going
00:42:02.840 to
00:42:02.920 vote
00:42:03.740 we'll
00:42:04.460 show
00:42:04.720 you
00:42:04.980 and
00:42:05.540 the
00:42:05.640 Democrats
00:42:05.920 say
00:42:06.220 fantastic
00:42:07.180 give us
00:42:07.900 the
00:42:08.060 Senate
00:42:08.300 and
00:42:11.340 then
00:42:11.600 how
00:42:12.540 do
00:42:12.780 we
00:42:12.940 win
00:42:13.200 there
00:42:13.480 what
00:42:13.780 exactly
00:42:14.420 is
00:42:14.860 the
00:42:15.020 plan
00:42:15.440 and
00:42:17.160 then
00:42:17.240 you
00:42:17.320 don't
00:42:17.920 vote
00:42:18.100 in
00:42:18.180 2022
00:42:18.520 or
00:42:18.840 2024
00:42:19.200 that
00:42:19.600 is
00:42:20.680 a
00:42:20.840 plan
00:42:21.020 Democrats
00:42:21.860 love
00:42:22.300 that
00:42:22.500 Trump
00:42:23.400 put
00:42:23.620 this
00:42:23.820 statement
00:42:24.100 out
00:42:24.380 and
00:42:24.540 you
00:42:24.620 know
00:42:24.740 who
00:42:24.860 was
00:42:25.020 sharing
00:42:25.320 it
00:42:25.460 on
00:42:25.580 Twitter
00:42:25.800 the
00:42:26.100 Democrats
00:42:26.520 the
00:42:26.780 left
00:42:27.080 they're
00:42:28.980 the
00:42:29.040 ones
00:42:29.180 who
00:42:29.280 made
00:42:29.400 this
00:42:29.580 statement
00:42:29.820 go
00:42:30.020 viral
00:42:30.300 they
00:42:30.440 were
00:42:30.560 saying
00:42:30.740 yeah
00:42:30.920 this
00:42:31.020 is
00:42:31.120 an
00:42:31.760 awesome
00:42:32.140 idea
00:42:32.480 I
00:42:32.940 love
00:42:33.320 it
00:42:33.500 you
00:42:34.000 guys
00:42:34.220 should
00:42:34.400 definitely
00:42:34.760 stay
00:42:35.100 home
00:42:35.420 you're
00:42:36.000 upset
00:42:36.260 about
00:42:36.580 voter
00:42:37.480 fraud
00:42:37.840 so
00:42:38.100 stay
00:42:38.800 home
00:42:39.160 if
00:42:42.640 you
00:42:42.720 have
00:42:42.880 a
00:42:43.000 plan
00:42:43.240 in
00:42:43.380 mind
00:42:43.560 and
00:42:43.680 you
00:42:43.780 look
00:42:43.980 over
00:42:44.180 and
00:42:44.280 you
00:42:44.380 see
00:42:44.540 your
00:42:44.680 enemies
00:42:45.100 rubbing
00:42:46.160 their
00:42:46.320 hands
00:42:46.540 together
00:42:46.820 licking
00:42:47.120 their
00:42:47.320 lips
00:42:47.560 and
00:42:47.780 nodding
00:42:48.120 their
00:42:48.280 heads
00:42:48.660 hungrily
00:42:50.340 it's
00:42:51.700 a
00:42:52.000 good
00:42:52.240 indication
00:42:52.760 that
00:42:52.980 it's
00:42:53.120 a
00:42:53.260 bad
00:42:53.580 plan
00:42:54.040 see
00:42:57.180 I'm
00:42:57.340 all
00:42:57.480 about
00:42:57.680 fighting
00:42:58.000 but
00:42:58.160 how
00:42:58.280 about
00:42:58.400 fighting
00:42:58.700 smart
00:42:59.100 we
00:42:59.280 could
00:42:59.380 also
00:42:59.600 add
00:42:59.880 that
00:43:00.100 in
00:43:00.240 that's
00:43:00.400 another
00:43:00.580 thing
00:43:00.780 maybe
00:43:00.940 conservatives
00:43:01.340 can
00:43:01.500 learn
00:43:01.660 how
00:43:01.780 to
00:43:01.880 do
00:43:02.040 fight
00:43:02.400 smart
00:43:02.900 use
00:43:03.560 your
00:43:03.700 brain
00:43:04.020 when
00:43:04.160 you're
00:43:04.280 fighting
00:43:09.160 opponents
00:43:09.640 would
00:43:09.880 want
00:43:10.160 you
00:43:10.320 to
00:43:10.480 do
00:43:10.760 and
00:43:11.360 do
00:43:11.480 the
00:43:11.620 opposite
00:43:11.920 of
00:43:12.080 that
00:43:12.340 just
00:43:15.960 an
00:43:16.120 idea
00:43:16.360 all
00:43:18.000 right
00:43:18.140 time
00:43:18.420 to
00:43:18.640 read
00:43:18.880 the
00:43:19.000 comments
00:43:19.380 sorry
00:43:37.240 I almost
00:43:37.560 forgot
00:43:37.800 I don't
00:43:38.020 know
00:43:38.120 how
00:43:38.240 I
00:43:38.340 forgot
00:43:38.620 but
00:43:38.840 I
00:43:39.020 I
00:43:39.360 did
00:43:39.680 in
00:43:39.860 fact
00:43:40.140 forget
00:43:41.560 Demi
00:43:43.440 Lovato
00:43:43.800 still
00:43:44.240 speaking
00:43:44.580 out
00:43:44.740 about
00:43:44.920 her
00:43:45.420 alien
00:43:45.780 encounters
00:43:46.100 I
00:43:46.240 gotta
00:43:46.340 just
00:43:46.540 play
00:43:46.720 this
00:43:46.900 real
00:43:47.040 quick
00:43:47.260 and
00:43:47.840 I'll
00:43:48.100 read
00:43:48.240 the
00:43:48.360 comments
00:43:48.660 but
00:43:48.960 you know
00:43:51.700 well
00:43:52.060 let's
00:43:52.240 play
00:43:52.580 the clip
00:43:52.820 first
00:43:52.940 this
00:43:53.240 is
00:43:53.360 her
00:43:53.720 again
00:43:53.960 she's
00:43:54.140 been
00:43:54.420 speaking
00:43:54.900 recently
00:43:55.320 about
00:43:55.520 her
00:43:55.660 encounters
00:43:55.980 with
00:43:56.120 aliens
00:43:56.440 and
00:43:56.920 here
00:43:57.040 she
00:43:57.160 is
00:43:57.320 with
00:43:57.540 Kelly
00:43:57.900 Clarkson
00:43:58.340 on
00:43:58.420 the
00:43:58.480 Kelly
00:43:58.620 Clarkson
00:43:58.880 show
00:43:59.040 again
00:44:00.140 describing
00:44:01.320 one
00:44:01.640 of her
00:44:01.860 alien
00:44:02.100 encounters
00:44:02.500 and
00:44:02.720 you
00:44:02.900 know
00:44:02.960 I
00:44:03.060 just
00:44:03.260 find
00:44:03.600 this
00:44:03.740 really
00:44:03.960 compelling
00:44:04.220 listen
00:44:04.480 so I
00:44:05.920 woke up
00:44:06.480 in my
00:44:06.920 room
00:44:07.320 and there
00:44:07.960 was like
00:44:08.300 three
00:44:08.660 beings
00:44:09.300 and then
00:44:10.520 and they
00:44:10.980 they were
00:44:11.980 like do you
00:44:12.740 want to see
00:44:13.200 your planet
00:44:13.780 and I was
00:44:14.420 like oh
00:44:15.460 sorry
00:44:15.780 you were
00:44:17.120 like hell
00:44:17.800 yeah
00:44:18.020 let's go
00:44:19.960 so
00:44:21.000 so
00:44:22.200 I like
00:44:23.200 whooshed out
00:44:23.840 of my room
00:44:24.540 and was like
00:44:25.060 hovering over
00:44:25.720 the planet
00:44:26.220 and then all
00:44:26.640 of a sudden
00:44:27.100 they were like
00:44:27.900 you want to
00:44:28.200 see our planet
00:44:28.800 and I was
00:44:29.220 like hell
00:44:30.540 yeah
00:44:31.080 then I
00:44:32.720 whooshed to
00:44:33.140 this like
00:44:33.520 pink and purple
00:44:34.160 planet
00:44:34.500 that I've
00:44:34.900 never seen
00:44:35.680 I
00:44:36.460 again
00:44:37.500 I believe
00:44:38.180 her
00:44:38.400 this is her
00:44:39.840 truth
00:44:40.120 and I
00:44:40.380 validate it
00:44:41.000 I hear you
00:44:41.580 I'm listening
00:44:42.140 I believe
00:44:42.740 you Demi Lovato
00:44:43.420 I believe
00:44:45.040 all alien
00:44:45.600 encounter
00:44:45.920 stories
00:44:46.480 I think
00:44:47.400 they're all
00:44:47.720 true
00:44:48.060 you know
00:44:48.740 and
00:44:49.700 but
00:44:51.520 but
00:44:51.900 and I
00:44:53.060 think this
00:44:53.380 alien issue
00:44:54.220 it does
00:44:55.200 create
00:44:55.780 you know
00:44:57.240 strange
00:44:58.760 bedfellows
00:44:59.560 I was looking
00:45:00.780 for another
00:45:01.220 expression I
00:45:02.180 could use here
00:45:02.600 in this
00:45:02.780 situation
00:45:03.080 but nothing
00:45:03.340 came to mind
00:45:03.720 so I'm
00:45:03.920 going with
00:45:04.220 bedfellows
00:45:04.740 with Demi
00:45:05.360 Lovato
00:45:05.660 it does
00:45:06.180 create that
00:45:06.720 because now
00:45:07.520 I don't think
00:45:08.180 I'm aligned
00:45:08.480 with her
00:45:08.700 on any other
00:45:09.140 issue
00:45:09.320 but on the
00:45:09.880 alien issue
00:45:10.920 I am
00:45:11.360 I will say
00:45:12.460 though that
00:45:12.900 I'm concerned
00:45:13.560 that you know
00:45:13.980 Demi Lovato
00:45:14.520 has had
00:45:15.080 several alien
00:45:16.720 encounters
00:45:17.120 apparently
00:45:17.480 according to
00:45:17.920 her testimony
00:45:18.520 which again
00:45:18.940 I totally
00:45:19.300 believe
00:45:19.680 I'm feeling
00:45:21.920 number one
00:45:22.280 I have to
00:45:22.580 I confess to
00:45:23.380 feeling a little
00:45:23.720 bit jealous
00:45:24.120 I've had
00:45:24.880 zero encounters
00:45:25.640 and I'm here
00:45:26.360 all the time
00:45:27.180 talking about
00:45:27.900 how much I
00:45:28.360 believe in
00:45:28.740 aliens
00:45:29.140 and I'm
00:45:30.060 on their
00:45:30.400 side
00:45:30.900 with whatever
00:45:31.740 plan they
00:45:32.180 have
00:45:32.400 they want
00:45:32.580 to take
00:45:32.800 over the
00:45:33.120 planet
00:45:33.600 you know
00:45:34.960 vaporize
00:45:35.520 us
00:45:35.660 whatever
00:45:35.880 I'm on
00:45:36.340 board for
00:45:36.780 it
00:45:36.980 and I don't
00:45:38.340 get to have
00:45:38.680 any encounters
00:45:39.200 at all
00:45:39.620 Demi Lovato
00:45:40.620 gets all
00:45:41.060 of them
00:45:41.280 I'm trying
00:45:41.740 not to be
00:45:42.320 too focused
00:45:42.820 on the
00:45:43.080 jealousy
00:45:43.340 with that
00:45:43.740 but putting
00:45:45.720 my jealousy
00:45:46.140 to the side
00:45:46.480 I'm a little
00:45:47.320 concerned that
00:45:48.360 they appear
00:45:50.120 to have
00:45:50.800 zeroed in
00:45:52.620 on her
00:45:53.180 as sort
00:45:53.720 of our
00:45:53.980 leader
00:45:54.360 and so
00:45:55.860 Demi Lovato
00:45:56.520 has become
00:45:57.140 our
00:45:57.680 diplomatic
00:45:58.780 envoy
00:45:59.560 to the
00:46:00.820 extraterrestrial
00:46:01.500 beings
00:46:02.040 and so
00:46:02.700 I'm
00:46:03.080 worried about
00:46:04.220 how we're
00:46:04.580 being represented
00:46:05.300 and when she
00:46:06.620 tells me about
00:46:07.120 these conversations
00:46:07.680 she's having
00:46:08.120 with the aliens
00:46:08.780 where she's
00:46:09.220 saying
00:46:09.400 yeah I'm
00:46:10.000 like hell
00:46:10.420 yeah I'll
00:46:10.800 see your
00:46:11.080 planet
00:46:11.380 hell yeah
00:46:11.940 yeah
00:46:12.220 like
00:46:12.820 like let's
00:46:13.860 go check
00:46:14.160 out your
00:46:14.380 planet
00:46:14.620 and I
00:46:15.800 it's just
00:46:16.360 that's not
00:46:17.100 I just
00:46:19.980 all I can
00:46:20.520 say is I
00:46:20.840 hope she's
00:46:21.400 she's taking
00:46:22.460 this role
00:46:24.460 seriously
00:46:25.140 and I do
00:46:28.860 kind of wish
00:46:29.460 that the aliens
00:46:30.080 had chosen
00:46:30.620 someone else
00:46:32.200 other than
00:46:32.940 the non-binary
00:46:33.960 pansexual
00:46:34.620 pop star
00:46:35.140 but you know
00:46:38.480 they have a
00:46:38.880 plan
00:46:39.140 that I couldn't
00:46:40.580 possibly understand
00:46:41.100 all right
00:46:41.400 let's see
00:46:42.960 well we'll
00:46:46.080 start here
00:46:46.940 it says
00:46:47.860 Patrick says
00:46:48.920 it's okay
00:46:49.560 Matt we
00:46:50.040 in the
00:46:50.280 SBG
00:46:50.760 understand
00:46:51.280 you
00:46:51.680 even in
00:46:52.240 silence
00:46:52.640 well I
00:46:52.940 appreciate
00:46:53.240 that
00:46:53.660 but I
00:46:54.520 still am
00:46:54.940 filled with
00:46:55.460 shame
00:46:57.320 and regret
00:46:59.020 for not
00:47:01.060 acknowledging
00:47:01.860 the SBG
00:47:03.580 gang
00:47:03.900 on stage
00:47:05.400 at the
00:47:05.740 Ryman
00:47:05.960 but you know
00:47:06.280 there will be
00:47:07.020 other live
00:47:07.620 daily wire
00:47:08.080 events and I
00:47:08.580 can promise
00:47:09.140 you
00:47:09.380 I can
00:47:10.560 promise
00:47:10.880 you
00:47:11.060 that
00:47:11.480 I will
00:47:13.240 not make
00:47:13.500 that mistake
00:47:13.860 again
00:47:14.120 and the
00:47:17.540 other thing
00:47:17.720 I did love
00:47:18.100 about that
00:47:18.440 by the way
00:47:18.740 is all the
00:47:19.200 people who
00:47:19.720 were wearing
00:47:20.100 the SBG
00:47:20.740 shirts
00:47:21.500 and then
00:47:22.260 when they
00:47:22.940 were going
00:47:23.140 through the
00:47:23.400 receiving line
00:47:24.060 at the
00:47:24.420 meet and
00:47:25.020 greet
00:47:25.220 and so
00:47:26.460 all the
00:47:26.800 other guys
00:47:27.360 were forced
00:47:28.200 to take
00:47:29.200 many pictures
00:47:29.980 with people
00:47:30.680 wearing these
00:47:31.820 sweet baby
00:47:32.200 gang t-shirts
00:47:32.720 which I think
00:47:33.600 is fantastic
00:47:34.100 let's see
00:47:35.700 Miss the
00:47:36.120 bandwagon
00:47:36.660 says
00:47:37.120 how could
00:47:37.580 these people
00:47:37.900 not see
00:47:38.380 themselves
00:47:38.780 in Superman
00:47:39.300 before
00:47:39.700 he's an
00:47:40.100 everyman
00:47:40.540 he may have
00:47:42.060 been born
00:47:42.360 with every
00:47:42.760 superpower
00:47:43.540 but he grew
00:47:44.440 up as a
00:47:44.760 normal kid
00:47:45.140 who wanted
00:47:45.400 to fit in
00:47:45.900 and as he
00:47:47.080 became an
00:47:47.460 adult
00:47:47.720 had to
00:47:48.120 find a
00:47:48.520 use for
00:47:48.880 his talents
00:47:49.340 and he
00:47:49.560 tries his
00:47:49.920 best to
00:47:50.320 be a force
00:47:51.800 for good
00:47:52.160 on the
00:47:52.400 earth
00:47:52.620 and that's
00:47:52.920 what we
00:47:53.080 all strive
00:47:53.440 for
00:47:53.680 if these
00:47:54.220 people
00:47:54.440 can only
00:47:54.800 relate
00:47:55.080 to a
00:47:55.320 Superman
00:47:55.560 that
00:47:55.780 kisses
00:47:56.020 boys
00:47:56.440 then I
00:47:56.820 don't
00:47:56.960 believe
00:47:57.160 they care
00:47:57.600 about
00:47:57.760 Superman
00:47:58.140 the
00:47:58.760 character
00:47:59.040 at all
00:47:59.380 well
00:47:59.640 you know
00:48:00.080 of course
00:48:00.360 they don't
00:48:01.720 they don't
00:48:02.600 that's the
00:48:03.120 point
00:48:03.320 this whole
00:48:03.860 representation
00:48:04.300 thing
00:48:04.800 they don't
00:48:07.300 think that
00:48:07.720 any character
00:48:08.360 should just
00:48:08.860 be a
00:48:09.400 character
00:48:09.760 they want
00:48:10.800 every character
00:48:11.360 to reflect
00:48:12.120 them in
00:48:12.800 every detail
00:48:13.400 when they're
00:48:13.720 watching every
00:48:14.200 story
00:48:14.680 they want
00:48:15.720 to see
00:48:16.220 them
00:48:16.520 they want
00:48:17.020 it to be
00:48:17.320 like
00:48:17.620 looking in
00:48:18.580 a mirror
00:48:18.900 because of
00:48:20.240 this narcissism
00:48:20.920 but I have
00:48:23.420 to say
00:48:23.800 you know
00:48:24.380 I'm opposed
00:48:26.480 to turning
00:48:26.940 Superman
00:48:27.260 gay
00:48:27.560 but at the
00:48:27.920 same time
00:48:28.600 I do
00:48:30.080 think he's
00:48:30.780 probably the
00:48:31.820 lamest
00:48:32.260 superhero
00:48:33.020 of them
00:48:33.860 all
00:48:34.140 so I
00:48:34.980 can't
00:48:35.380 ultimately
00:48:35.700 get that
00:48:36.300 upset
00:48:36.520 about it
00:48:36.940 I'd be
00:48:37.900 fine with
00:48:38.200 just erasing
00:48:38.720 Superman
00:48:39.100 altogether
00:48:39.620 he's
00:48:41.600 he's one
00:48:42.040 of the
00:48:42.220 first tries
00:48:43.500 at kind
00:48:43.860 of making
00:48:44.200 a superhero
00:48:45.320 he's a
00:48:46.540 very primitive
00:48:47.180 early version
00:48:48.100 and that's
00:48:50.260 why they
00:48:50.560 gave him
00:48:51.200 you know
00:48:51.720 they gave
00:48:52.740 him every
00:48:53.220 single
00:48:53.660 superpower
00:48:54.240 he's
00:48:55.320 immortal
00:48:55.700 nothing can
00:48:56.180 kill him
00:48:56.600 he can
00:48:56.820 shoot lasers
00:48:57.600 up his
00:48:57.920 eyes
00:48:58.160 he can
00:48:58.460 fly
00:48:58.920 he can
00:48:59.320 what should
00:49:00.620 we call
00:49:00.900 this guy
00:49:01.360 uh
00:49:02.020 super
00:49:03.400 man
00:49:04.240 he's a
00:49:04.840 he's super
00:49:05.620 he's a man
00:49:06.160 he's Superman
00:49:06.620 I just think
00:49:08.920 he doesn't have
00:49:09.520 quite the same
00:49:10.220 nuance and
00:49:10.940 everything that
00:49:11.700 that some of
00:49:12.500 these other
00:49:12.820 superheroes do
00:49:13.640 so
00:49:14.520 let's see
00:49:16.000 Alberto says
00:49:19.380 now I'm being
00:49:19.920 warned about
00:49:20.460 the dangerous
00:49:21.000 climate change
00:49:21.800 content Matt
00:49:22.460 is presenting
00:49:22.840 yeah YouTube
00:49:23.300 did slap the
00:49:24.200 show with a
00:49:24.720 warning yesterday
00:49:25.400 because I
00:49:27.060 was talking
00:49:27.500 about Superman
00:49:28.140 and how
00:49:28.820 in the new
00:49:29.180 Superman
00:49:29.520 comic he's
00:49:31.320 going to be
00:49:31.580 fighting climate
00:49:32.200 change
00:49:32.580 and I
00:49:34.340 I expressed
00:49:35.420 skepticism
00:49:36.180 that Superman
00:49:37.740 could actually
00:49:38.660 fight climate
00:49:39.320 change because I
00:49:39.820 wasn't sure what
00:49:40.420 that would actually
00:49:41.040 like how does a
00:49:41.760 superhero
00:49:42.200 physically battle
00:49:43.700 climate change
00:49:44.380 and so I
00:49:44.940 expressed skepticism
00:49:46.100 not even about
00:49:47.420 climate change
00:49:48.460 my skepticism was
00:49:49.220 about Superman's
00:49:50.660 ability
00:49:51.780 ability to
00:49:52.900 prevent or
00:49:54.120 or stop
00:49:54.680 climate change
00:49:55.260 and I got
00:49:55.600 slapped with
00:49:56.180 with an
00:49:57.680 advisory label
00:49:58.640 from YouTube
00:49:59.140 for that
00:49:59.740 because of my
00:50:01.640 Superman skepticism
00:50:02.680 let's see
00:50:06.040 what else we got
00:50:06.800 here
00:50:07.000 Maximilian says
00:50:08.600 Matt
00:50:09.020 when will the
00:50:10.040 Daily Wire
00:50:10.480 begin making
00:50:11.820 PG-13 films
00:50:13.520 instead of
00:50:14.020 R-rated films
00:50:14.980 well I
00:50:16.800 I don't think
00:50:18.180 we're going
00:50:18.580 into it
00:50:19.220 having in
00:50:21.580 mind what
00:50:21.940 kind of
00:50:22.180 rating you
00:50:22.600 want the
00:50:22.880 film to
00:50:23.260 have I
00:50:23.700 think the
00:50:23.980 idea here
00:50:24.620 is to
00:50:25.960 just tell
00:50:26.520 stories that
00:50:27.300 are worth
00:50:27.660 telling that's
00:50:29.280 what we want
00:50:29.560 to do with
00:50:29.860 the Daily
00:50:30.140 Wires tell
00:50:30.860 stories that
00:50:31.380 are worth
00:50:31.660 telling tell
00:50:32.120 stories that
00:50:32.760 Hollywood is
00:50:34.080 not telling
00:50:34.620 and then
00:50:36.400 you it'll
00:50:38.300 have whatever
00:50:38.760 rating is
00:50:39.620 required like
00:50:40.140 whatever is
00:50:40.520 required to
00:50:41.180 tell that
00:50:41.800 story honestly
00:50:42.840 and completely
00:50:43.860 that's going
00:50:45.860 to be in
00:50:46.080 the film and
00:50:46.580 then the
00:50:46.820 rating will
00:50:47.200 reflect that
00:50:47.700 so we
00:50:49.100 certainly have
00:50:49.460 not committed
00:50:49.940 to we're only
00:50:50.500 going to put
00:50:50.740 out R-rated
00:50:51.220 movies but
00:50:51.920 not that I'm
00:50:52.740 at all involved
00:50:53.420 in the
00:50:53.640 conversations for
00:50:54.380 what movies we
00:50:54.900 make in the
00:50:55.340 first place but
00:50:55.900 but I know
00:50:58.440 that's not
00:50:58.840 happening but
00:51:01.120 you do have to
00:51:01.520 decide what in
00:51:02.380 order to tell
00:51:03.160 this story and
00:51:05.080 to tell it the
00:51:05.560 right way you
00:51:07.440 know what what
00:51:08.000 is what's
00:51:08.520 needed and
00:51:09.860 depending on
00:51:10.160 what the story
00:51:10.560 is maybe there
00:51:11.440 might be
00:51:11.660 violence there
00:51:12.600 might even be
00:51:13.020 vulgarity in
00:51:14.800 order to tell
00:51:15.240 it honestly and
00:51:16.720 then the rating
00:51:17.080 will just reflect
00:51:17.620 that so I
00:51:18.000 think I think
00:51:18.400 that's the way
00:51:18.840 we're going
00:51:19.480 about it thank
00:51:20.440 God I can tell
00:51:21.720 you about the
00:51:22.300 Jordan Harbinger
00:51:23.060 show once again
00:51:23.840 like a drink of
00:51:24.640 cool water amid
00:51:25.880 all the sludge
00:51:27.000 that I am serving
00:51:27.960 you on this
00:51:28.940 disgusting awful
00:51:29.860 show of mine the
00:51:31.440 Jordan Harbinger
00:51:31.940 show that is a
00:51:32.620 real podcast and
00:51:33.460 it's a podcast you
00:51:34.180 definitely need to
00:51:34.900 check out since
00:51:35.940 you're a fan I
00:51:36.660 can only assume of
00:51:37.600 high-quality
00:51:38.060 fascinating podcasts
00:51:39.080 hosted by
00:51:39.660 interesting people
00:51:40.340 the show covers
00:51:40.920 such a wide range
00:51:42.120 of topics through
00:51:42.800 weekly interviews
00:51:43.460 with heavy-hitting
00:51:44.180 guests and there
00:51:45.220 are a ton of
00:51:45.640 episodes you'll
00:51:46.160 find interesting
00:51:46.760 like for example
00:51:48.780 his episodes with
00:51:49.540 Colonel Oliver
00:51:50.160 North and Kobe
00:51:50.840 Bryant there's an
00:51:51.920 episode for everyone
00:51:53.140 no matter what
00:51:54.700 you're into the
00:51:55.620 show covers stories
00:51:56.660 like how a
00:51:57.160 professional art
00:51:57.900 forger somehow
00:51:58.680 made millions of
00:51:59.560 dollars while being
00:52:00.220 chased by the feds
00:52:01.240 and the mafia that
00:52:02.940 is far more
00:52:03.760 interesting than
00:52:04.440 anything I've
00:52:05.640 talked about on
00:52:06.100 this show let's be
00:52:06.780 totally honest about
00:52:07.540 that the podcast
00:52:08.600 covers a lot but
00:52:09.360 one constant is his
00:52:10.340 ability to pull
00:52:11.080 useful pieces of
00:52:11.940 advice from his
00:52:12.860 guests I promise you
00:52:14.160 you'll find something
00:52:15.220 useful that you can
00:52:16.420 apply to your own
00:52:17.600 life for a change
00:52:18.680 so we really enjoy
00:52:20.240 this show and we
00:52:20.840 think you will as
00:52:21.560 well there's just so
00:52:22.920 much there check out
00:52:23.780 the Jordan Harbinger
00:52:24.460 show Jordan

00:52:29.140 Jordan Harbinger
00:52:29.660 show that's H-A-R-B
00:52:31.160 as in boy I-N as
00:52:32.240 in Nancy G-E-R on
00:52:33.260 Apple podcast Spotify
00:52:34.140 or wherever you
00:52:34.900 listen to podcasts
00:52:35.580 and also there's
00:52:38.860 more not only do we
00:52:40.120 have an extremely
00:52:40.640 successful showing of
00:52:41.700 backstage at the
00:52:42.660 Ryman this past
00:52:43.300 Tuesday but we
00:52:43.740 also dropped some
00:52:44.540 extremely exciting
00:52:45.560 news the Daily
00:52:46.240 Wire has several new
00:52:47.780 projects in the works
00:52:48.600 that are going to
00:52:49.160 change the way you
00:52:49.980 stream because we're
00:52:51.200 bringing you even
00:52:52.000 more non-woke content
00:52:53.440 that you literally
00:52:54.340 won't find anywhere
00:52:55.880 else I'm pleased to
00:52:56.760 announce that we
00:52:57.280 officially dropped the
00:52:58.180 teaser trailer for
00:52:59.080 Shut In which is
00:53:00.340 Daily Wire's first
00:53:01.080 original production
00:53:01.700 the film follows a
00:53:02.440 young mother who is
00:53:03.000 barricaded inside a
00:53:03.880 pantry by her violent
00:53:04.880 ex-boyfriend and must
00:53:06.400 use her ingenuity to
00:53:07.560 protect her two small
00:53:08.380 children from escalating
00:53:09.420 danger while finding
00:53:10.920 an escape and we
00:53:12.440 actually have a clip
00:53:13.200 of that which we're
00:53:13.620 going to play right
00:53:13.980 now right now here's
00:53:15.000 a 60 second look into
00:53:16.260 a thriller that you're
00:53:17.600 not going to want to
00:53:18.200 miss
00:53:18.500 Lainey I told you I
00:53:22.660 need to see you at
00:53:23.500 all times do you
00:53:24.260 understand me well I'm
00:53:26.060 going to take off
00:53:26.600 tonight so the kids
00:53:27.700 can sleep most of the
00:53:28.660 way well I'm mostly
00:53:30.080 done I just need to
00:53:31.100 finish cleaning out
00:53:32.600 the pantry
00:53:33.120 lady
00:53:40.080 lady
00:53:40.140 lady
00:53:41.800 mommy someone's here
00:53:45.300 get away from him
00:53:50.880 please let me out
00:54:01.880 mommy you took the baby
00:54:05.180 and mama gave it back
00:54:06.940 oh my god oh my god
00:54:12.140 and we played that
00:54:21.140 and we played that
00:54:22.260 like we said at the
00:54:23.160 daily wire backstage
00:54:24.160 and I gotta say I was
00:54:26.120 I knew about this
00:54:27.220 this movie but I was
00:54:28.960 not expecting it to be
00:54:29.960 even as intense as
00:54:30.980 that so that's the one
00:54:31.680 that I'm looking forward
00:54:32.220 to seeing and also we
00:54:33.300 want to share a message
00:54:33.940 with you from the
00:54:34.620 fearless Gina Carano
00:54:35.720 about her new daily
00:54:36.740 wire movie this is a
00:54:37.460 different one terror on
00:54:39.360 the prairie is what it's
00:54:40.120 what it's called and it
00:54:41.620 just started production
00:54:42.460 this week take a look
00:54:43.980 hi daily wire members
00:54:45.760 this is Gina Carano I'm
00:54:47.220 coming to you from the
00:54:49.140 set of terror on the
00:54:50.560 prairie we came up to
00:54:52.160 Montana and it is
00:54:54.280 absolutely God's
00:54:55.280 country we're making
00:54:56.300 new friends we've
00:54:57.940 attracted the most
00:54:58.540 incredible cast and
00:54:59.460 crew and a hell of a
00:55:01.520 director we're gonna
00:55:02.260 make a great great movie

00:55:15.840 Hollywood Union started
00:55:16.940 debating vaccine mandates
00:55:18.500 forecast and crew and I
00:55:20.640 wasn't into that I don't
00:55:22.220 believe anybody gets to
00:55:23.380 make your medical choices
00:55:24.980 for you and I'm not
00:55:26.420 willing to force masks and
00:55:28.020 vaccines on anyone else

00:56:13.760 and new content now let's
00:56:15.060 get to our daily
00:56:15.540 cancellation
00:56:16.020 today we cancel and not for
00:56:22.260 the first time not for the
00:56:23.060 last Disney as you know
00:56:24.360 Disney has for a while now
00:56:25.960 been disgorging a steady
00:56:27.920 stream of stale warmed over
00:56:29.740 reheated recycled content the
00:56:32.180 company's creative brain trust
00:56:33.680 convened several years ago
00:56:34.940 and the head guy over there
00:56:36.320 said you know I've got an
00:56:37.100 idea you know all those
00:56:38.260 really popular movies we
00:56:39.480 made in previous decades
00:56:40.420 we're gonna make those
00:56:41.280 again oh you mean we're
00:56:43.220 gonna we're gonna make
00:56:43.760 movies inspired by those
00:56:45.040 classic films no no we're
00:56:46.100 gonna we're gonna make
00:56:46.800 those same films again you
00:56:49.180 mean like sequels no no
00:56:50.180 we're just gonna we're
00:56:51.140 gonna take those movies and
00:56:53.000 do them again exactly the
00:56:54.480 same and that was the end
00:56:56.000 of the discussion it had
00:56:57.020 to have been the end because
00:56:57.760 there clearly hasn't been
00:56:58.620 anything in the way of
00:56:59.460 actual creative thought or
00:57:01.560 deliberation going into
00:57:03.360 Disney's recent output they
00:57:06.600 have simply taken the
00:57:07.860 films they made in the
00:57:09.180 past and done them again
00:57:10.680 shot for shot making
00:57:12.320 changes only where modern
00:57:13.500 PC sensitivities demand so
00:57:15.520 the latest in this slate of
00:57:17.100 microwaved leftovers is the
00:57:18.780 Home Alone reboot the new
00:57:20.720 Home Alone which will be
00:57:21.780 available for streaming in
00:57:22.860 November appears to have
00:57:24.780 taken the original which
00:57:25.820 which still exists by the
00:57:26.820 way you can still watch it
00:57:27.820 and recreated it almost
00:57:29.540 exactly except without any
00:57:31.800 of the charm of the
00:57:32.480 original never mind the
00:57:34.540 total suspension of
00:57:36.260 disbelief required to watch
00:57:37.860 a Home Alone remake set in
00:57:39.060 the year 2021 I mean the
00:57:40.500 original only worked because
00:57:41.780 it happened to have been
00:57:42.560 made a few years before
00:57:43.960 cell phones became household
00:57:45.100 items but these days with
00:57:46.520 cell phones the story
00:57:47.340 should be over in about 15
00:57:48.300 minutes when the mom
00:57:49.820 realizes oh we left our son
00:57:51.040 and just calls him then
00:57:53.460 again it was never clear why
00:57:54.380 she couldn't have just
00:57:55.320 called him even in the
00:57:56.240 original film I don't
00:57:57.720 remember how they got
00:57:58.420 around it in any case
00:57:59.060 there's a trailer for this
00:58:00.940 abomination let's watch
00:58:01.900 part of it
00:58:02.940 it was the night before
00:58:06.280 Christmas vacation
00:58:07.780 and the fun was in full
00:58:10.780 swing
00:58:11.440 you have split our family
00:58:12.540 onto two separate flights
00:58:13.600 mom
00:58:14.200 that's please
00:58:14.920 the family left for their
00:58:16.600 big vacation
00:58:17.660 is that everyone
00:58:18.500 the cars are leaving now
00:58:20.360 but forgot one little thing
00:58:23.500 mom
00:58:24.060 dad
00:58:25.100 uncle blake
00:58:26.380 they don't even know I'm
00:58:28.480 here
00:58:28.940 they don't even know I'm
00:58:31.780 here
00:58:32.400 my mom and dad have gone
00:58:34.660 to Tokyo
00:58:35.260 I'm totally on my own
00:58:36.760 you do realize that my
00:58:40.920 10 year old son is at home
00:58:42.960 by himself
00:58:43.880 you just assumed Max was
00:58:45.200 on the other flight
00:58:45.780 we didn't take a census
00:58:47.040 we got reports of
00:58:49.020 suspicious people around
00:58:50.380 36 Lincoln Ave
00:58:51.800 I can't go to jail
00:58:53.560 honey
00:58:53.980 I wouldn't last 30 seconds
00:58:55.640 in gen pop
00:58:56.300 it's where fresh fish get
00:58:57.860 got
00:58:58.180 nobody here is getting
00:59:00.360 got
00:59:01.260 and we're criminals
00:59:03.120 I don't think so
00:59:04.520 so sorry I was wrong
00:59:06.680 it's not exactly the same
00:59:07.700 as the original
00:59:08.160 in this one
00:59:08.900 the kid has a British accent
00:59:10.060 so
00:59:10.640 that's the big
00:59:12.100 it's home alone
00:59:13.020 but with a
00:59:13.460 that's what they
00:59:14.600 that's what they said
00:59:15.240 when they were in their
00:59:16.100 brainstorming session
00:59:16.960 they said
00:59:17.200 I know
00:59:18.120 what if
00:59:18.820 what if
00:59:19.480 home alone
00:59:21.300 but with a British accent
00:59:23.820 brilliant
00:59:24.840 also Joe Pesci's character
00:59:26.180 has been replaced by
00:59:27.100 the most boring actress
00:59:28.580 in Hollywood
00:59:29.020 that's another change
00:59:29.680 and all the men
00:59:30.640 in this new version
00:59:31.300 appear to be
00:59:31.820 submissive dunces as well
00:59:33.380 like I said
00:59:34.080 you have to adjust
00:59:34.620 for modern PC sensibilities
00:59:35.960 though somehow
00:59:37.200 the kid remains
00:59:38.300 both male and white
00:59:39.840 which is easily
00:59:40.740 the most surprising thing
00:59:41.820 Disney has done
00:59:42.460 in 25 years
00:59:43.380 maybe they figured
00:59:44.780 they already checked
00:59:45.300 the intersectional box
00:59:46.200 by choosing an overweight
00:59:47.180 child for the role
00:59:47.940 I'm not sure
00:59:48.420 now I want to
00:59:49.560 I want to make
00:59:49.840 just three points
00:59:50.500 here about this
00:59:51.200 first
00:59:52.340 the death of creativity
00:59:55.500 in Hollywood
00:59:56.060 actually does matter
00:59:58.280 I mean it is a big deal
00:59:59.340 you can tell
01:00:01.540 quite a lot
01:00:02.500 about a society
01:00:03.480 from its creative
01:00:04.460 and artistic output
01:00:05.640 a thriving society
01:00:07.440 is an artistic society
01:00:09.120 when we as a people
01:00:11.000 have something to say
01:00:13.020 when we are striving
01:00:13.940 towards something
01:00:14.800 when we have a sense
01:00:15.620 of awe and wonder
01:00:16.680 all of that
01:00:17.760 tends to be reflected
01:00:18.500 in the art
01:00:19.020 that we produce
01:00:19.640 as a culture
01:00:20.280 so what does it say
01:00:21.940 about us
01:00:22.380 that our most popular
01:00:23.320 films and shows
01:00:24.200 are almost all
01:00:24.920 rehashes of what
01:00:25.920 came before
01:00:26.540 or else they're
01:00:28.040 franchises where
01:00:28.920 the exact same story
01:00:30.040 is told over
01:00:30.860 and over again
01:00:31.520 where only the title
01:00:32.960 and the timeline
01:00:33.520 changes
01:00:34.100 it says that we're
01:00:35.700 decadent
01:00:36.180 and bored
01:00:36.880 and empty
01:00:37.420 just like the movies
01:00:38.280 we watch
01:00:38.720 of course
01:00:40.040 there are still
01:00:40.680 good worthwhile
01:00:41.640 innovative stories
01:00:42.520 being told
01:00:43.100 we're telling
01:00:44.020 some of them
01:00:44.500 ourselves
01:00:44.920 here at the Daily Wire
01:00:45.660 as mentioned
01:00:46.160 but we don't have
01:00:47.900 the audience
01:00:48.320 that Disney has
01:00:49.080 if you want to
01:00:50.540 produce interesting
01:00:51.460 art these days
01:00:52.380 you're going to
01:00:52.660 have to start out
01:00:53.560 on the fringes
01:00:54.360 and kind of
01:00:54.800 fight your way in
01:00:55.980 and it will be
01:00:56.920 an uphill battle
01:00:57.720 all the way
01:00:58.300 which brings us
01:00:59.840 to the second point
01:01:00.520 it's often said
01:01:01.900 that the major studios
01:01:02.900 have run out of ideas
01:01:04.280 ah they've run out
01:01:05.280 of ideas
01:01:05.640 no they haven't
01:01:06.580 there's no scarcity
01:01:07.940 of ideas
01:01:08.800 as long as the world
01:01:10.420 is populated
01:01:11.060 by conscious
01:01:11.980 self-aware beings
01:01:13.180 there will always
01:01:13.860 be ideas
01:01:14.700 and even a few
01:01:15.880 good ones
01:01:16.380 the problem
01:01:17.440 is not a lack
01:01:18.060 of ideas
01:01:18.560 within Disney
01:01:19.100 or with any
01:01:20.020 of these other
01:01:20.920 studios
01:01:21.240 but an outright
01:01:22.640 hostility
01:01:23.300 to ideas
01:01:23.980 they haven't
01:01:25.600 looked for ideas
01:01:26.940 and come up empty
01:01:27.680 they've rather
01:01:28.340 exiled all of the
01:01:29.540 bold and unique
01:01:30.200 ideas
01:01:30.680 and the people
01:01:31.680 who come up
01:01:32.080 with them
01:01:32.380 because ideas
01:01:33.580 are risky
01:01:34.020 ideas always
01:01:34.620 have a chance
01:01:35.080 of offending
01:01:35.540 people
01:01:36.000 ideas don't
01:01:37.480 always translate
01:01:38.240 into the chosen
01:01:38.860 artistic medium
01:01:39.700 perfectly
01:01:40.240 a multi-billion
01:01:41.720 dollar corporation
01:01:42.360 like Disney
01:01:42.760 has no use
01:01:43.480 for such
01:01:43.880 volatile
01:01:44.480 and hazardous
01:01:45.040 things
01:01:45.500 as ideas
01:01:46.240 they'd rather
01:01:47.400 put out content
01:01:48.060 with no ideas
01:01:48.740 and why not
01:01:49.300 because they can
01:01:50.160 shovel stale garbage
01:01:51.360 into the audience's
01:01:52.160 mouth and get them
01:01:53.040 to eat it anyway
01:01:53.680 and if you can do
01:01:55.140 that why bother
01:01:56.040 cooking a gourmet meal
01:01:57.120 which takes us
01:01:58.520 to the third point
01:01:59.240 but I think we
01:02:00.720 carry much of the
01:02:01.540 blame here
01:02:02.020 you know we
01:02:02.980 complain that
01:02:03.560 Hollywood never
01:02:04.180 puts out anything
01:02:04.820 worthwhile
01:02:05.220 and all they do
01:02:06.640 is repeat themselves
01:02:07.480 and yet we
01:02:08.760 continue to give
01:02:09.480 them our money
01:02:10.000 and ingest
01:02:10.840 whatever nonsense
01:02:11.540 they feed us
01:02:12.320 and I do
01:02:13.960 blame millennials
01:02:14.720 for much of this
01:02:15.560 I think as millennials
01:02:17.000 we get too much
01:02:18.480 blame in general
01:02:19.460 for the state
01:02:20.040 of society
01:02:20.600 a society that
01:02:21.320 was already
01:02:21.860 broken before
01:02:22.540 we got here
01:02:23.120 thanks boomers
01:02:24.280 but for this
01:02:26.220 I give us much
01:02:26.840 of the blame
01:02:27.140 because we have
01:02:27.700 an insatiable
01:02:28.360 appetite
01:02:28.820 for what we
01:02:30.320 call nostalgia
01:02:31.200 and so the studios
01:02:33.260 can churn out
01:02:33.940 slightly revamped
01:02:35.140 versions of the
01:02:35.980 things we watched
01:02:36.640 when we were kids
01:02:37.280 and we will
01:02:38.280 obediently just
01:02:39.200 gobble it all down
01:02:40.140 but we never
01:02:41.260 stopped to think
01:02:41.860 about the fact
01:02:42.680 first of all
01:02:44.020 that so much
01:02:44.620 of our childhood
01:02:45.260 nostalgia is tied
01:02:46.420 up to
01:02:46.920 tied to media
01:02:48.720 and products
01:02:49.840 and brands
01:02:50.480 we liked
01:02:50.960 rather than actual
01:02:52.780 real life human
01:02:53.700 experiences
01:02:54.380 and we never
01:02:55.920 worried about the
01:02:56.480 fact that our
01:02:56.960 appetites and
01:02:57.660 tastes apparently
01:02:58.420 haven't matured
01:02:59.740 or changed
01:03:00.380 a single bit
01:03:01.540 since the age
01:03:02.100 of 12
01:03:02.600 and so it
01:03:04.580 becomes a vicious
01:03:05.160 self-fueling cycle
01:03:06.100 we remain in
01:03:06.840 perpetual adolescence
01:03:07.900 which means
01:03:08.760 Hollywood can
01:03:09.340 keep redoing
01:03:10.100 and rehashing
01:03:10.600 the same films

01:03:11.840 enjoyed in our
01:03:12.440 adolescence
01:03:12.940 and the more
01:03:13.900 we absorb that
01:03:14.620 content
01:03:15.060 the more we
01:03:16.360 remain in that
01:03:17.320 childish state
01:03:18.020 so there are
01:03:20.140 many people to
01:03:20.600 blame here
01:03:21.100 including ourselves
01:03:21.880 which is why

01:03:35.400 end it for the
01:03:36.680 day
