00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, the jury in the Rittenhouse case gets it right while the media explodes in a blind rage.
00:00:05.700 We'll talk about the fallout from the not guilty verdict today.
00:00:08.460 And a man plows through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin, injuring dozens and killing many.
00:00:13.060 Many aspects of this case make it inconvenient for the corporate media.
00:00:16.560 We'll talk about those facts today.
00:00:17.840 And Fauci officially recommends boosters for all people over 18.
00:00:21.260 Plus, the Fight for 15 movement has now become the Fight for 25 movement.
00:00:25.660 Who could have seen that coming?
00:00:26.560 We'll talk about all that and much more today on The Matt Walsh Show.

00:01:35.000 make sure you get one of those kinds of phones so they can't go on the internet.
00:01:38.140 You get all of that from Charity Mobile while, again, helping to build a culture of life in America.

00:01:48.460 and mention OfferCodeWalsh.
00:01:50.480 It's tempting to say that justice was done on Friday
00:01:53.980 when the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial was returned
00:01:56.640 and Kyle was found not guilty on all counts.
00:01:59.280 It was certainly a just verdict, the right verdict.
00:02:01.820 But we can't say that justice was done unless and until
00:02:04.740 all of the people responsible for this political show trial are held accountable.
00:02:09.060 The prosecutor should be disbarred.
00:02:10.980 The media who smeared Kyle as a white supremacist serial killer
00:02:14.420 should be sued into bankruptcy.
00:02:15.880 Their lives should be ruined.
00:02:16.920 They should suffer.
00:02:19.100 We should want them to suffer for it because that's justice.
00:02:23.060 And that still would not even the score.
00:02:25.140 It wouldn't set everything right because they have taken something from
00:02:28.440 Kyle Rittenhouse that he can never get back.
00:02:32.080 Namely, his entire normal life, the life he ought to have lived, is gone.
00:02:37.200 He is free as he should be, but he'll never really be free from the slander and defamation.
00:02:41.580 That's what makes slander and defamation so insidious.
00:02:43.940 He'll have to walk around with a scarlet R, racist, on his head forever
00:02:48.100 because that's the reality that the media has constructed for him.
00:02:52.080 And this is why they should pay and pay dearly.
00:02:54.760 It's not a no harm, no foul situation.
00:02:57.320 They have done immense harm to Kyle Rittenhouse and done it on purpose with malice in their hearts.
00:03:02.000 And they aren't done.
00:03:03.860 After the verdict was read on Friday, the demons in the corporate media convulsed and screamed and vomited like a scene straight out of The Exorcist.
00:03:11.860 Watching MSNBC on Friday, as I did for a couple of hours, purely for the entertainment,
00:03:16.160 I have expected to see someone's head do a 360-degree turn.
00:03:20.000 They were apoplectic in their demonic rage,
00:03:22.220 and they were not prepared to surrender their narrative or back away from it even an inch.
00:03:26.720 Many examples, of course, we could play for you.
00:03:28.700 You've probably seen a lot of them, but we'll settle on just a couple.
00:03:31.660 First, here's one of the hobgoblins on MSNBC, Tiffany Cross, having a rather ghoulish temper tantrum.
00:03:38.460 Watch.
00:03:38.680 I find these people disgusting, Ellie.
00:03:41.840 I'm disgusted at what I'm seeing.
00:03:43.200 It's not just this trial.
00:03:44.200 It's other trials.
00:03:44.920 But this in particular, the fact that white supremacists roam the halls of Congress freely
00:03:48.520 and celebrate this little murderous white supremacist,
00:03:51.400 and the fact that he gets to walk the streets freely,
00:03:53.760 it lets you know these people have access to instituting laws.
00:03:57.620 They represent the legislative branch of this country.
00:03:59.660 What are we to make of that?
00:04:01.460 Welcome to the modern Republican Party.
00:04:03.920 This is what these people want.
00:04:05.460 And this is what a majority of white people vote for.
00:04:08.120 When I say that a majority of white people are in favor of this kind of violence,
00:04:14.440 it is because a majority of white people consistently vote Republican.
00:04:19.840 Since the passage of the Civil Rights Act, a majority of white people have voted Republican.
00:04:24.820 So this is the party that they're supporting.
00:04:27.760 A majority of white people pick judges like Bruce Schrader, the judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse case.
00:04:32.120 A majority of white people do not support policies that would unpack and unroll and reform this system of justice.
00:04:39.080 This is what they want.
00:04:40.660 Matt Gaetz is giving the white folks what they want.
00:04:44.400 Look at it.
00:04:45.600 Look at yourselves.
00:04:47.280 It's gross.
00:04:47.940 But until a majority of you stop voting for this, this will keep happening.
00:04:54.280 I may have misheard it, but did he snort like a pig there?
00:04:59.480 I don't know.
00:05:00.300 I mean, if it oinks like a pig, you know what they say.
00:05:03.120 Little murderous white supremacist is what Kyle Rittenhouse has called there after the verdict.
00:05:09.560 He was found not guilty of murder.
00:05:11.800 And he's not a white supremacist.
00:05:13.020 There was never any reason to think that he was a white supremacist.
00:05:15.300 There has never been even one single slight shred of evidence that he's a white supremacist.
00:05:20.680 He shot three white people in self-defense as the court of law just declared.
00:05:24.620 By the way, a majority of white people are in favor of this kind of violence.
00:05:27.880 I don't know where he's getting this from, but I'll tell you as one white person, yeah, you're damn right.
00:05:31.880 I am in favor of violence in self-defense where you're killing a child rapist who's trying to kill you.
00:05:38.180 I'm in favor of that violence all day, every day.
00:05:40.240 But MSNBC will stick with the fantasy scenario it constructed early on.
00:05:46.940 The people at MSNBC and across the corporate media and the American left,
00:05:50.200 they arrived at a conclusion about the Rittenhouse case within three minutes of the last shot being fired,
00:05:55.360 and they have not wavered from it, even the smallest bit since that initial moment.
00:06:00.200 That's because the truth doesn't matter at all.
00:06:02.820 We'll get back to that point in a moment.
00:06:04.380 But first, here's another example, somehow even more delusional.
00:06:07.240 This is someone named Amber Ruffin, who has some kind of show on MSNBC or Peacock or whatever.
00:06:13.940 Here she is.
00:06:15.040 You guys, because I have my own show, I have a responsibility to say things that people need to know that aren't being said.
00:06:23.200 It's a cool opportunity that I don't take lightly.
00:06:26.400 There are very big, obvious truths that no one wants to say on TV, but I will.
00:06:31.080 Now, just a few minutes before we started taping the show,
00:06:34.860 Kyle Rittenhouse, the man accused of shooting three people during a Black Lives Matter protest,
00:06:39.360 was declared not guilty on all charges.
00:06:42.580 So, I can't believe I have to say this, but...
00:06:46.080 It's not okay for a man to grab a rifle, travel across state lines, and shoot three people, and then walk free.
00:07:08.280 It's not okay for the judicial system to be blatantly and obviously stacked against people of color.
00:07:17.260 It's not okay for there to be an entirely different set of rules for white people.
00:07:24.500 State lines.
00:07:26.020 I mean, I get really emotional about state lines also.
00:07:28.520 You travel across state lines.
00:07:29.580 In fact, I'm worried now, after the Rittenhouse verdict, that this will set a precedent,
00:07:33.680 and now people will feel entitled to just cross state lines whenever they want.
00:07:39.600 I'm worried that, you know, slippery slope situation, that next thing you know,
00:07:43.960 we're going to have a whole system of roads set up,
00:07:46.880 like maybe we need like an interstate highway system they might build,
00:07:50.920 where people will just cross state lines whenever they want.
00:07:52.920 That's what I'm worried about.
00:07:55.280 By the way, you know how Kyle Rittenhouse was accused of crocodile tears
00:07:58.580 because he was, you know, he had an emotional breakdown while on trial to trying to save his life.
00:08:05.300 Those were not crocodile tears.
00:08:06.720 If you want to know what crocodile tears look like, which is what you just saw there.
00:08:10.000 Amber Ruffin.
00:08:11.120 That's what fake crying looks like.
00:08:13.660 And literally every single thing she said is wrong.
00:08:17.500 Every word.
00:08:19.000 Starting with the pretense that what she said there was somehow bold and brave
00:08:23.040 and something that nobody else is willing to say.
00:08:25.100 She simply repeated the same thing that everyone in corporate media is saying
00:08:29.680 and has said a million times already,
00:08:32.100 and yet pretends that this requires courage.
00:08:34.720 That nobody's going to say this,
00:08:36.580 except the last 7 million people you heard say it.
00:08:40.400 So I'll say it.
00:08:42.900 No, courage and shamelessness are not the same, Amber.
00:08:46.560 Though I realize this distinction is often lost on the left.
00:08:49.860 She also says that he grabbed a rifle and crossed state lines and murdered people.
00:08:53.720 None of that is true.
00:08:55.820 We know that it's not true.
00:08:58.040 The facts are incontrovertibly against her.
00:09:00.740 But what does she care?
00:09:02.340 As for the justice system being stacked against people of color,
00:09:05.540 that seems an odd claim given that nobody involved in this case was a person of color.
00:09:09.680 Black people have nothing to do with this case.
00:09:12.720 I understand that black supremacists might struggle to understand that point,
00:09:16.220 but it has nothing to do.
00:09:17.620 This was a case involving white people.
00:09:19.200 Is it true that only white murder defendants get off on self-defense claims?
00:09:25.460 Well, no.
00:09:26.040 In fact, on the very same day on Friday,
00:09:29.200 at almost the exact same time that Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of his murder charges
00:09:33.300 on the basis of self-defense.
00:09:34.700 A man down in Florida, Andrew Coffey, was also found not guilty of murder and attempted murder
00:09:40.600 on the grounds of self-defense after shooting at a SWAT team that came into his house unannounced.
00:09:45.680 That acquittal was, again, on the same day.
00:09:47.580 Andrew Coffey is black.
00:09:48.700 On the same day, he's not alone.
00:09:53.080 Amy Swearer, a legal fellow at Heritage, has a great thread on Twitter
00:09:57.480 documenting many recent cases of black defendants being acquitted of murder charges
00:10:01.780 on the grounds of self-defense.
00:10:03.200 It happens all the time.
00:10:04.840 It is very, very common.
00:10:07.420 The media might not tell you about it, but it happens.
00:10:11.080 There is simply no evidence at all, no reason to believe at all,
00:10:15.740 that Kyle Rittenhouse would have been convicted if he was black.
00:10:18.700 There is no evidence at all, no reason to believe at all,
00:10:22.900 that self-defense laws disproportionately help white people.
00:10:25.680 There is no data to back that up.
00:10:28.040 None.
00:10:29.940 In fact, the opposite is probably the case.
00:10:32.340 The Daily Caller ran an analysis back in 2013 in Florida
00:10:36.540 to see who benefits the most from the state's stand-your-ground law.
00:10:41.360 And they discovered that black people are disproportionate beneficiaries of that law.
00:10:46.480 Okay, black person in Florida is more likely to be acquitted on self-defense than a white person.
00:10:54.760 And there's plenty of reason to believe that this trend holds true across the nation.
00:10:58.340 But that won't stop the narrative or even slow it down.
00:11:03.120 Just as the left has not held itself back from anointing Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber martyrs for the case.
00:11:10.420 Even as a court of law just effectively found them both to be attempted murderers.
00:11:14.060 I mean, that's the implication here.
00:11:16.080 If it was self-defense on Rittenhouse's side, then it was attempted murder on their side.
00:11:22.540 And that's the most flattering thing on their resumes.
00:11:25.440 Rosenbaum, as you know from the show, was a serial child rapist, a pedophile sodomite who anally raped young boys.
00:11:32.420 Yet protesters took to the street after the verdict and chanted Rosenbaum's name.
00:11:37.680 Listen to this.
00:11:38.200 Say his name, Joseph Rosenbaum.
00:11:55.840 That's almost as sickening as the tributes that have poured in from Hollywood.
00:11:59.660 Actor Pedro Pascal tweeted,
00:12:02.040 Now, the best I can say about that statement is that it's a bit optimistic.
00:12:14.260 Rosenbaum, a serial child rapist who died while trying to kill a teenage boy, is almost certainly burning in hell.
00:12:21.040 You know, that say his name, Joseph Rosenbaum, we can imagine the legions in hell.
00:12:24.620 That's what greeted Rosenbaum as he was walking down the hallway.
00:12:30.080 God's forgiveness, of course, knows no bounds.
00:12:33.980 But considering his last moment on Earth was spent trying to murder a teenager,
00:12:37.920 it seems unlikely that he had any sort of last-minute repentance or conversion.
00:12:41.260 Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo tweeted,
00:12:43.840 Quote,
00:12:44.100 We come together to mourn the lives lost to the same racist system that devalues black lives
00:12:49.280 and devalued the lives of Anthony and JoJo.
00:12:52.800 Hashtag reimagined Kenosha.
00:12:54.420 Yes, that's a major Hollywood actor using a cutesy pet name for a serial child rapist.
00:13:03.220 Talk about saying the quiet part out loud.
00:13:05.980 I mean, these Hollywood perverts are so used to hanging out with child molesters and rapists
00:13:09.620 that they feel bonds of affection even with the rapists they've never met.
00:13:14.240 Though perhaps I assume too much.
00:13:15.400 For all I know, Rosenbaum and Ruffalo went to the same parties.
00:13:17.680 Who knows?
00:13:18.040 Either way, add Rosenbaum to the list of recent heroes and martyrs of the left.
00:13:24.380 It's a list that includes George Floyd,
00:13:27.600 a man who forced his way into a woman's home and robbed her at gunpoint.
00:13:31.820 Jacob Blake, a violent felon and alleged rapist and woman abuser
00:13:35.060 who assaulted police, brandished a knife,
00:13:38.260 got shot while trying to steal a car and kidnap children.
00:13:41.900 Rayshard Brooks, a felon who passed out drunk at a fast food drive-thru lane,
00:13:45.620 then got himself shot while fighting with the cops and stealing their taser.
00:13:49.520 Dante Wright, a wanted criminal who sexually assaulted a woman and robbed her at gunpoint.
00:13:55.200 Now to this pantheon, this Mount Rushmore of deviants and demons,
00:13:59.340 we can add Joseph Rosenbaum, child molester and rapist.
00:14:03.400 These are the men that the left bids us to celebrate and admire.
00:14:06.960 The absolute worst source of people human society has to offer.
00:14:11.900 The dregs of humanity.
00:14:14.060 The bottom of the barrel.
00:14:15.220 These are meant to be our martyrs.
00:14:19.560 So what's going on here?
00:14:21.300 Between the celebration of Joseph Rosenbaum,
00:14:23.660 all of the lies told about Kyle Rittenhouse,
00:14:26.340 what we have to understand is that the left is not just building a narrative,
00:14:31.020 though they are doing that.
00:14:33.260 But more so, they're creating an entire new reality.
00:14:37.440 Their ultimate goal is to construct an alternate universe.
00:14:42.140 You know, I give a talk on college campuses called
00:14:43.960 The War on Reality, about the left's efforts to redefine life, marriage, and gender.
00:14:47.620 And the title is not hyperbole.
00:14:50.020 I mean, they have waged war on reality itself, truth itself.
00:14:54.420 And as I argue in the talk, the three main pillars of this effort,
00:14:57.200 the three primary modes of attack,
00:14:59.280 are to redefine these fundamental elements of human civilization.
00:15:02.280 Their battle plan has been such a success thus far that many people in our society today
00:15:06.900 will look you in the eyes and flatly deny that any such thing as truth or objective reality exists.
00:15:14.740 The upshot is that with something like the Rittenhouse verdict,
00:15:18.260 it's fruitless to argue that the left's narrative isn't true or that it contradicts the facts.
00:15:22.540 They know that and they don't care.
00:15:24.300 Or I should say, contradicting the facts is the whole point.
00:15:29.500 Telling a leftist that their claims about some event are untrue,
00:15:32.380 it's like reading a sci-fi novel and objecting that none of that happened in real life.
00:15:37.500 It's a fantasy.
00:15:39.700 Well, yeah, that's the point.
00:15:41.140 The only difference between the sci-fi novel and the claims made by the leftist
00:15:46.060 is that the fictional reality in the book is supposed to be contained only in the book.
00:15:50.500 For the leftist, we're all meant to live in his fictional reality.
00:15:54.260 We're supposed to pretend that it's real.
00:15:57.080 A world governed by self-identity and emotional whim,
00:16:00.200 a reality that is malleable,
00:16:01.920 which changes to accommodate political and ideological needs.
00:16:07.620 That's the objective.
00:16:08.540 That's what's at stake.
00:16:12.360 And it's time we understand that.
00:16:15.080 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:16:23.660 As we get into the holidays, you got to think about buying gifts.
00:16:26.500 We have Thanksgiving coming up and we know how expensive food is.
00:16:29.400 I mean, I can't imagine putting together a Thanksgiving dinner,
00:16:31.860 what that's going to cost us.
00:16:33.340 All that means is that you got to save money wherever you can.
00:16:36.420 And that's why you need to get the GetUpside app.
00:16:39.440 My listeners are making up to $0.25 for every gallon of gas every time they fill up.
00:16:43.220 Just download the free GetUpside app in the App Store or Google Play right now.

00:17:26.280 All right, so I want to jump right into this horrible, horrible case in Waukesha.
00:17:36.000 I think I'm pronouncing that right.
00:17:37.440 Waukesha in Wisconsin.
00:17:39.760 And it just so happens that this happened at a Christmas parade in Wisconsin.
00:17:46.420 I think less than an hour away from Kenosha.
00:17:49.200 This was on Sunday and they were having their Christmas parade
00:17:54.140 and a car, an SUV, drove through the middle of the parade
00:18:00.240 and as of the last time I checked, before we started filming,
00:18:06.860 the death toll now is five with more than 40 people injured,
00:18:10.380 many of them kids because these were kids who were in the parade,
00:18:13.480 you know, dancing and singing, all that kind of stuff.
00:18:15.100 And this car just goes right through the parade and keeps on driving.
00:18:21.960 Now, let me read this from the Post Millennial
00:18:24.860 and there's a lot of information we still don't have.
00:18:26.840 I mean, this happened last night and there's information coming in.
00:18:28.980 And so of what I report right now,
00:18:32.920 I'm not sure what of this will still be relevant by the time you listen to this.
00:18:36.860 But this is from the Post Millennial.
00:18:38.880 It says,
00:18:40.320 A suspect has been identified as in custody for the mass casualty incident in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
00:18:45.520 When a Red Fort escape plowed into a holiday parade,
00:18:48.720 so far five have been confirmed dead, more than 40 injured.
00:18:52.400 According to court documents, 39-year-old Daryl Edward Brooks
00:18:55.760 has been arrested as a suspect in the incident.
00:18:59.120 Brooks is a career criminal with multiple priors
00:19:01.860 and was released from jail two days prior to the incident
00:19:04.420 after posting a $1,000 bail for three misdemeanors and two felonies.
00:19:09.940 $1,000 bail.
00:19:11.060 So you've got a career criminal, multiple convictions,
00:19:16.560 charged with five criminal counts, two of them felonies,
00:19:22.200 and he had a $1,000 bail.
00:19:24.480 He has a history of resisting arrest, obstruction, battery, statutory sexual seduction,
00:19:30.340 strangulation, suffocation, property destruction, illegal firearm possession,
00:19:33.900 bail jumping, domestic violence, drug-related charges, and is a registered sex offender.
00:19:40.480 And they let him out on $1,000 bail.
00:19:42.660 Again, one of his prior crimes is bail jumping.
00:19:49.400 The driver of the Red SUV plowed through a police line at high speed
00:19:52.420 and into a parade of Christmas marchers on Sunday,
00:19:54.340 impacting more than 20 adults and children in a graphic scene
00:19:56.620 captured on the city's live stream and cell phones of bystanders.
00:19:59.980 You can...
00:20:01.920 I mean, I've seen some of the video of this.
00:20:03.660 I don't recommend watching it.
00:20:06.160 I mean, as you can imagine, extremely disturbing.
00:20:08.720 But there are some important details that you find when you watch these videos,
00:20:13.940 and we'll get to that in a second.
00:20:15.820 Now, a little bit more on Daryl Brooks, which the Postmillennial reports,
00:20:18.900 he's the person of interest.
00:20:21.760 In a rap video on his YouTube page,
00:20:24.080 Brooks is seen dancing in front of a Red Ford Escape,
00:20:26.620 the same type of vehicle used in Sunday's fatal incident.
00:20:30.820 Well, Kesha, Wisconsin Police Chief Daniel Thompson
00:20:32.780 confirmed in a press release following the tragedy
00:20:34.860 that an officer who has been on the force for over six years
00:20:37.320 opened fire on the vehicle
00:20:38.320 and that a person of interest was in custody.
00:20:41.400 Thompson emphasized that the investigation is, quote,
00:20:44.040 very active.
00:20:46.340 Okay, then we go over to
00:20:47.540 what the corporate media is saying
00:20:51.240 and what we're being told so far.
00:20:54.400 And again, this could change.
00:20:56.580 But initial reports,
00:20:58.440 and the media has been very,
00:21:00.720 very short to report this.
00:21:03.400 And in fact, CNN on CNN.com on their website,
00:21:06.080 the big headline announcing this.
00:21:08.960 That as it stands right now,
00:21:10.920 what they're telling us is that there was no particular motive in this crime.
00:21:14.420 That he, in fact, was fleeing from another crime
00:21:16.680 and that's why he drove right through a parade.
00:21:18.800 So here is the local NBC affiliate.
00:21:24.900 It says,
00:21:25.740 Brooks has not formally been identified as a suspect by police
00:21:28.560 and has not been charged with a crime.
00:21:30.020 The motive behind the incident remains unclear.
00:21:33.180 Earlier on Monday,
00:21:34.160 a law enforcement official said investigators are examining
00:21:36.580 whether the person of interest in this case
00:21:38.100 may have been fleeing from a crime
00:21:40.060 when he sped into the parade goers.
00:21:43.340 The investigators were questioning a person in custody
00:21:45.460 about that incident,
00:21:46.360 which the official described as an altercation involving a knife.
00:21:49.720 The official who cautioned that the investigation
00:21:51.960 was still in the early stages
00:21:53.840 and was continuing to develop
00:21:55.360 could not discuss the investigation.
00:21:57.440 So that's what we're being told.
00:22:00.640 Yeah, the headline on CNN says,
00:22:02.360 suspect in parade tragedy
00:22:03.380 may have been fleeing another scene.
00:22:05.740 Okay.
00:22:07.480 So a few things here.
00:22:10.380 And we should also mention
00:22:11.600 that Daryl Brooks is a black man.
00:22:13.600 Okay.
00:22:14.040 And that's relevant
00:22:14.820 because it might speak to why
00:22:18.780 we can't necessarily trust
00:22:19.940 what the media tells us.
00:22:21.620 All right.
00:22:22.180 We know Las Vegas,
00:22:23.500 that was a white guy in Las Vegas,
00:22:25.100 but over 50 people were shot and killed years ago.
00:22:28.920 And to this day,
00:22:29.840 we've never been told why he did it.
00:22:32.540 Almost every other mass shooting,
00:22:34.540 mass killing in recent memory,
00:22:36.600 we've got a pretty good idea of the motive.
00:22:38.800 They tell us like almost right away.
00:22:41.140 Years later with Las Vegas,
00:22:43.160 they never told us the motive.
00:22:44.880 I'm wondering
00:22:45.660 if it'll be a similar thing with Waukesha.
00:22:50.580 I wouldn't be surprised
00:22:51.920 if two years from now,
00:22:53.060 people are saying,
00:22:53.660 hey, remember that thing that happened
00:22:55.080 when the guy plowed through a parade
00:22:57.300 and killed a bunch of children?
00:22:58.320 Why did he do that?
00:22:59.480 Whatever happened with that?
00:23:02.360 I would not be surprised
00:23:03.820 if the same thing happens here.
00:23:07.360 Because already,
00:23:08.720 you know,
00:23:10.200 the early narrative,
00:23:11.200 what they're trying to convince us
00:23:12.300 is that this was,
00:23:13.260 I guess,
00:23:13.660 basically unintentional
00:23:15.020 and that he was trying to flee
00:23:17.120 the scene of another crime.
00:23:18.100 Now,
00:23:20.940 in terms of sentencing,
00:23:22.900 it really shouldn't make a difference
00:23:24.260 because if this was intentional,
00:23:25.960 he was trying to kill a bunch of people
00:23:27.160 or if this was callous disregard
00:23:29.120 for human life
00:23:30.040 and he didn't care
00:23:30.780 if he killed a bunch of people,
00:23:32.000 either way,
00:23:32.900 it should be,
00:23:33.760 really,
00:23:34.120 it should be a death sentence.
00:23:35.060 It should be an eye for an eye sentence
00:23:36.360 where you strap him down on the road
00:23:38.480 and then a parade of cars
00:23:39.680 runs over him until he dies.
00:23:40.980 That's what I believe in.
00:23:43.080 Now,
00:23:43.440 as it happens in Wisconsin,
00:23:44.200 they don't have the death penalty anymore
00:23:45.580 as far as I know,
00:23:46.960 but it should still be
00:23:48.120 life in a cage,
00:23:49.840 never leaving ever again,
00:23:51.380 regardless of the motive,
00:23:52.860 given how many people died.
00:23:55.440 But,
00:23:55.880 even so,
00:23:57.720 was this intentional?
00:24:00.360 He was just trying to flee
00:24:01.420 the scene of another crime?
00:24:02.940 I don't believe that for a second.
00:24:05.060 And I get very suspicious
00:24:06.600 when I hear a motive like that
00:24:09.860 proposed as a possibility
00:24:11.800 and that there's really no motive.
00:24:14.440 Because,
00:24:15.120 you can see the video,
00:24:17.460 it is very clear in the videos
00:24:18.920 that he is intentionally targeting people.
00:24:22.660 I mean,
00:24:23.020 the car turns
00:24:24.280 so that he hits more people.
00:24:27.520 Now,
00:24:27.980 if you're fleeing the scene of a crime,
00:24:29.420 you're just trying to get away,
00:24:30.640 and let's say you don't really care that much
00:24:31.900 if you hit people,
00:24:32.580 but your main motivation is
00:24:34.040 you want to get away from the cops.
00:24:37.140 Well,
00:24:37.540 for one thing,
00:24:38.120 you'd probably go around the parade
00:24:40.040 just for the sake of going faster,
00:24:42.920 you'd go around it.
00:24:43.340 But also,
00:24:44.180 you would start honking your horn,
00:24:45.720 you would try to steer around people.
00:24:47.400 Again,
00:24:47.660 even if you don't care about their lives,
00:24:50.180 it's going to let you go faster
00:24:51.380 if you don't hit anybody.
00:24:52.260 So,
00:24:52.620 it just doesn't make it easy.
00:24:53.480 He never honks his horn,
00:24:54.880 never announces that he's coming,
00:24:56.640 makes no attempt
00:24:57.760 to go around anybody.
00:24:59.560 He goes through multiple intersections
00:25:01.800 and never turns,
00:25:04.080 and yet we're being told
00:25:06.480 that potentially he was just
00:25:07.460 fleeing the scene of another crime.
00:25:08.900 I don't believe it.
00:25:10.340 I don't buy it.
00:25:14.320 Now,
00:25:14.820 what we know is that
00:25:15.560 this person of interest
00:25:16.480 is a black man,
00:25:17.540 and
00:25:17.800 there are indications,
00:25:20.820 there are reports,
00:25:22.120 that he was,
00:25:23.560 at a minimum,
00:25:24.100 a BLM supporter,
00:25:24.880 and he appears to have
00:25:27.480 rap videos
00:25:28.240 where he's got a lot of
00:25:29.140 anti-white rhetoric
00:25:30.040 and that sort of thing.
00:25:32.600 So,
00:25:33.080 you have to wonder,
00:25:34.260 did that have anything
00:25:35.740 to do with this?
00:25:37.140 Was he at all motivated?
00:25:38.600 I mean,
00:25:38.860 is it a coincidence
00:25:39.740 that this happened
00:25:40.860 only a few miles away
00:25:42.800 from Kenosha,
00:25:44.380 a couple of days
00:25:45.420 after the verdict?
00:25:46.120 Is it just a coincidence
00:25:49.240 that the verdict happens
00:25:50.480 and then apparently
00:25:51.940 a BLM supporter
00:25:53.260 plows through
00:25:54.000 a parade of mostly white people?
00:25:56.440 I mean,
00:25:57.120 it could be.
00:25:58.340 It could be.
00:26:01.540 But,
00:26:02.080 I don't believe
00:26:03.540 the initial narrative.
00:26:04.380 I'll just tell you that.
00:26:05.120 I personally don't believe it.
00:26:06.320 It doesn't make any sense.
00:26:07.360 It does not pass
00:26:08.020 the common sense smell test.
00:26:11.260 And the problem is,
00:26:13.720 let's just say
00:26:14.340 that there is some element
00:26:15.660 of,
00:26:16.640 and it could be a combination
00:26:17.380 of these things.
00:26:18.140 I mean,
00:26:18.300 it could be
00:26:18.760 he's fleeing the scene
00:26:19.580 of a crime.
00:26:20.120 He figures his life
00:26:20.760 is over anyway.
00:26:21.820 Sees a crime of opportunity here.
00:26:23.400 Might as well take out
00:26:24.100 some people.
00:26:24.840 You know,
00:26:25.400 so there could be
00:26:26.560 a combination
00:26:27.020 of that kind of motive.
00:26:28.240 I don't know.
00:26:31.480 But,
00:26:31.940 the problem is that,
00:26:34.740 let's just say,
00:26:36.600 theoretically,
00:26:37.140 hypothetically,
00:26:38.160 that there is at least
00:26:39.700 some element of motive here
00:26:41.340 and that he was targeting
00:26:43.000 these people
00:26:43.440 as he really appears
00:26:44.600 to be doing
00:26:45.120 in the video.
00:26:47.620 And that he was,
00:26:48.620 he was spurred on
00:26:52.000 in that direction
00:26:52.680 by a lot of the misreporting
00:26:54.600 and the false narratives
00:26:55.340 in the media.
00:26:56.400 Well,
00:26:56.860 if that were the case,
00:26:57.800 then we'd be relying
00:26:58.620 on the media
00:26:59.380 to tell us
00:27:00.280 that it's their fault,
00:27:02.280 partly,
00:27:02.680 that this happened.
00:27:04.620 I don't trust the media
00:27:05.620 to tell me that.
00:27:06.200 So we're in a position
00:27:09.680 with this case
00:27:10.920 that we're probably
00:27:13.460 going to be Las Vegas.
00:27:14.500 We're never going
00:27:14.840 to know the truth.
00:27:17.520 Because whatever the media
00:27:18.540 tells me about this,
00:27:19.540 I can't believe it.
00:27:20.580 I don't trust it.
00:27:21.540 I do not trust
00:27:22.240 what you're telling me,
00:27:22.960 corporate media.
00:27:26.080 If the reality
00:27:27.720 of this case
00:27:28.460 is extremely inconvenient
00:27:30.760 for you
00:27:31.320 and your narrative,
00:27:31.920 I don't believe
00:27:33.120 that you will tell me.
00:27:37.800 And then when they're
00:27:38.540 insulting our intelligence
00:27:39.440 early on
00:27:40.100 by saying that potentially
00:27:41.060 he was just fleeing
00:27:41.800 the scene of a crime,
00:27:42.560 give me a break.
00:27:45.400 And of course,
00:27:46.060 we know that,
00:27:46.820 you know,
00:27:47.120 reverse the races here.
00:27:48.720 If this was a white man
00:27:49.920 plowing through a parade
00:27:50.740 of mostly black people,
00:27:51.980 the corporate media
00:27:53.660 immediately,
00:27:55.180 within like a second,
00:27:56.720 along with every
00:27:57.360 elected Democrat,
00:27:58.180 they would be saying
00:27:58.800 this is racially motivated,
00:28:00.220 this is a hate crime,
00:28:00.860 that's what they'd be saying.
00:28:01.920 I'm not even saying that
00:28:04.540 because I don't know.
00:28:06.460 What I'm saying is
00:28:07.360 that to me seems like
00:28:08.400 at least a possibility
00:28:09.640 and the story
00:28:12.460 they're telling us early on
00:28:13.520 doesn't make sense to me
00:28:14.560 and I don't believe it.
00:28:17.860 But there's another aspect
00:28:18.800 of this case that we do
00:28:19.640 that appears to be
00:28:20.940 pretty well established
00:28:22.560 that this man,
00:28:24.240 if he in fact
00:28:25.140 was the guilty party,
00:28:27.700 career criminal,
00:28:28.840 out on bail.
00:28:29.400 And so this is what
00:28:32.040 bail reform
00:28:33.460 and justice reform
00:28:35.880 gets us.
00:28:38.020 Whether or not
00:28:38.700 false media narratives
00:28:39.740 are partly to blame,
00:28:40.640 I suspect they might be.
00:28:42.900 But we certainly know
00:28:44.060 that bail reform,
00:28:45.060 justice reform
00:28:45.800 share some of the blame here.
00:28:49.340 Because this man
00:28:50.240 never should have been
00:28:51.080 out of prison
00:28:51.460 in the first place.
00:28:52.100 Okay, there has to be
00:28:55.700 a point
00:28:56.180 where we as a society
00:28:58.960 can say,
00:29:00.680 and this is what
00:29:01.400 three strike laws
00:29:03.440 were supposed to be about,
00:29:04.560 there has to be a point
00:29:05.440 where we as a society
00:29:06.400 can say to someone,
00:29:07.500 okay,
00:29:08.160 you've made it clear to us
00:29:09.680 that you have no interest
00:29:11.380 in living in society
00:29:13.260 as a civilized human being.
00:29:14.820 You've made it clear to us
00:29:16.220 that you want to be,
00:29:18.440 that you want to act
00:29:19.200 like an animal.
00:29:19.840 And so that's how
00:29:23.000 you're going to be treated.
00:29:23.700 We're going to put you
00:29:24.120 in a cage for the rest
00:29:24.980 of your miserable life.
00:29:25.900 There has to be a point
00:29:26.840 where we can say that
00:29:27.540 as a society.
00:29:28.660 The idea that we keep
00:29:30.040 cycling these people
00:29:31.240 through the system
00:29:32.000 and putting them back
00:29:33.040 on the street
00:29:33.540 until they do something
00:29:35.020 so heinous
00:29:36.120 that even the most
00:29:39.420 progressive DA
00:29:40.380 would have to go
00:29:41.580 for a life in sentence,
00:29:43.600 a life in prison sentence,
00:29:45.480 you know,
00:29:45.740 that system,
00:29:48.400 that strategy
00:29:48.900 doesn't work.
00:29:51.700 It results directly
00:29:52.880 in these sorts of things.
00:29:56.740 Because whether they say it
00:29:57.840 or not,
00:29:58.300 that is,
00:29:58.980 you know,
00:29:59.160 that's the strategy
00:30:00.300 that these progressive DAs,
00:30:01.760 many of them
00:30:02.460 put in their position
00:30:04.680 partly through funding
00:30:06.160 from George Soros
00:30:07.300 and other,
00:30:08.180 you know,
00:30:10.560 wealthy activists.
00:30:12.860 But whether they say it
00:30:13.860 explicitly or not,
00:30:15.060 that's their strategy.
00:30:16.400 that's their philosophy.
00:30:19.200 That they're going to
00:30:19.860 keep putting people
00:30:20.460 back on the street,
00:30:21.160 keep putting them
00:30:21.540 back on the street,
00:30:22.120 back on the street
00:30:22.680 until they do something,
00:30:24.820 until they at least
00:30:25.820 kill someone.
00:30:26.360 And even then,
00:30:27.140 they still might end up
00:30:28.100 back on the street.
00:30:32.400 All right.
00:30:34.620 Let's move on here.
00:30:35.500 Kyle Rittenhouse
00:30:36.120 was interviewed.
00:30:37.700 In fact,
00:30:37.960 he has an interview
00:30:39.100 with Tucker Carlson.
00:30:41.100 In fact,
00:30:41.340 it came out
00:30:41.840 that Tucker Carlson
00:30:42.780 has been filming
00:30:43.420 a documentary
00:30:43.940 about Kyle Rittenhouse
00:30:44.800 throughout the trial,
00:30:46.100 so that'll be
00:30:46.360 very interesting to watch.
00:30:47.920 But he's got an interview
00:30:48.740 with Kyle Rittenhouse
00:30:49.800 that'll be released
00:30:50.600 tonight, I believe,
00:30:51.660 on Tucker's show.
00:30:52.900 And there was a preview
00:30:53.740 of that interview
00:30:54.840 that came out on Sunday.
00:30:56.140 And he made,
00:30:56.880 Rittenhouse made
00:30:57.560 a surprising comment
00:30:58.860 that based on what I saw,
00:31:00.760 the reaction on social media,
00:31:01.840 even some people on the right
00:31:02.840 are criticizing him
00:31:03.820 for this.
00:31:04.680 I think that's unfair,
00:31:05.800 but let's listen to Kyle here.
00:31:08.420 This has nothing
00:31:09.020 to do with race.
00:31:10.700 It never had anything
00:31:11.840 to do with race.
00:31:12.700 It had to do with
00:31:13.580 the right to self-defense.
00:31:15.460 Right.
00:31:16.580 I'm not a racist person.
00:31:18.180 I support the BLM movement.
00:31:19.600 I support
00:31:20.180 peacefully demonstrating.
00:31:22.420 And I believe
00:31:23.480 there needs to be change.
00:31:25.200 I believe there's
00:31:26.140 a lot of prosecutorial
00:31:27.180 misconduct,
00:31:27.740 not just in my case,
00:31:28.840 but in other cases.
00:31:30.860 Okay, so he says,
00:31:31.720 I support the BLM movement.
00:31:33.120 Now, like I said,
00:31:35.240 I saw some criticism
00:31:36.240 even on the right
00:31:37.820 towards Kyle Rittenhouse
00:31:39.060 for that comment.
00:31:39.700 I don't blame the kid
00:31:43.420 for this.
00:31:43.760 I don't think it's fair
00:31:44.340 at all to criticize him.
00:31:46.200 He's worried
00:31:46.780 for his own safety
00:31:47.600 and his family's safety,
00:31:48.600 number one.
00:31:50.420 And also,
00:31:51.220 remember something,
00:31:52.080 that Democrats are pushing
00:31:53.100 for a federal investigation.
00:31:54.740 They have not let this go.
00:31:56.120 And they're not going
00:31:56.880 to let it go.
00:31:57.400 They're going to pursue
00:31:58.040 this young man
00:32:00.280 for the rest of his life.
00:32:03.100 But now they're pushing
00:32:04.000 for a federal investigation,
00:32:04.920 so I'm sure
00:32:06.100 from Kyle Rittenhouse's
00:32:07.120 perspective,
00:32:07.780 and I'm sure he's also
00:32:08.540 been told this by his lawyer.
00:32:09.860 I don't know that,
00:32:10.620 but I would assume
00:32:11.420 that his lawyers
00:32:11.880 maybe have said
00:32:12.440 something like this,
00:32:13.700 that if he makes
00:32:15.040 any comments publicly
00:32:16.820 that could at all
00:32:18.000 be construed as
00:32:18.920 in any way critical
00:32:19.900 of BLM,
00:32:20.980 then that will open
00:32:23.760 the door for them
00:32:25.800 to come after him
00:32:27.100 officially.
00:32:28.800 It shouldn't be
00:32:29.620 that way, of course,
00:32:30.340 but that's how it is.
00:32:32.640 So I wouldn't
00:32:34.160 criticize him at all
00:32:34.880 after everything
00:32:35.280 he's been through
00:32:35.800 to say that.
00:32:36.880 Still, it does show
00:32:38.640 what sort of
00:32:39.480 stranglehold
00:32:40.400 leftist grievance
00:32:42.060 organizations like BLM
00:32:43.940 have.
00:32:45.520 But even Kyle Rittenhouse
00:32:46.940 after BLM,
00:32:48.280 I mean,
00:32:48.580 they are the ones
00:32:49.760 who tried to lynch him.
00:32:51.820 They are the lynch mob
00:32:53.000 here.
00:32:55.840 And even after going
00:32:56.740 through all of that,
00:32:58.240 he will still say,
00:32:59.240 feels like he has to say,
00:33:00.640 that he supports
00:33:01.540 the very lynch mob
00:33:02.320 that came after him.
00:33:03.060 I say that not as a
00:33:06.720 criticism of Kyle
00:33:07.440 Rittenhouse,
00:33:07.880 but more of the lynch
00:33:08.600 mob itself,
00:33:09.280 that this is what,
00:33:10.620 this is the society
00:33:11.440 they've created.
00:33:14.400 But I'll be interested
00:33:15.200 to see the rest of that
00:33:15.920 interview on Tucker
00:33:17.000 Carlson's show tonight.
00:33:18.600 Next,
00:33:19.360 Anthony Fauci now
00:33:20.500 officially recommends
00:33:21.380 boosters for everyone
00:33:22.700 over the age of 18,
00:33:24.020 and that will soon,
00:33:24.940 of course,
00:33:25.120 be everyone of all ages,
00:33:26.160 but here he is
00:33:27.040 on CNN.
00:33:27.500 Do you recommend
00:33:29.500 that every single
00:33:30.660 American 18 and older
00:33:32.340 get a booster shot?
00:33:36.340 Absolutely,
00:33:37.200 Dana.
00:33:37.740 Let's make it clear,
00:33:39.140 you know,
00:33:39.340 when there's lack
00:33:39.900 of clarity,
00:33:40.560 people get confused,
00:33:42.120 they're not sure
00:33:42.680 what to do.
00:33:43.600 If you are 18 or older
00:33:45.600 and you've been
00:33:46.680 vaccinated,
00:33:47.760 fully vaccinated
00:33:48.600 with the Moderna
00:33:49.560 or the Pfizer mRNA
00:33:50.660 six months or more
00:33:52.300 ago,
00:33:52.900 get a booster.
00:33:54.080 If it's J&J
00:33:55.400 and it's two months
00:33:56.680 to go or more,
00:33:58.340 get a booster.
00:33:59.000 I don't think we should
00:33:59.660 get hung up on should,
00:34:00.960 may.
00:34:01.560 Just go out
00:34:02.100 and get boosted.
00:34:03.180 We know they're safe
00:34:04.180 and we know they're
00:34:04.820 highly effective
00:34:05.660 in bringing very,
00:34:07.300 very high up
00:34:08.220 the optimization
00:34:09.020 of your protection.
00:34:10.760 So just go ahead
00:34:11.480 and get boosted.
00:34:12.640 Now's the time to do it.
00:34:14.200 As we're getting
00:34:14.700 into the holiday season,
00:34:15.900 you want to be fully
00:34:16.620 protected in the sense
00:34:17.820 of getting optimal.
00:34:19.300 I mean,
00:34:19.460 the vaccines themselves
00:34:20.600 clearly are still
00:34:21.640 highly effective,
00:34:22.720 but you want to make sure
00:34:23.900 the durability
00:34:24.980 of that protection
00:34:26.120 is longer.
00:34:26.840 And that's the reason
00:34:27.580 why you get boosted
00:34:29.000 because we know
00:34:29.780 no vaccine lasts forever.
00:34:32.000 So the protection
00:34:33.340 starts to wane a bit
00:34:34.640 and that's what
00:34:35.500 the boost is all about.
00:34:37.060 Protection starts
00:34:37.860 to wane a bit.
00:34:39.680 No vaccine lasts forever.
00:34:42.540 It's been six months.
00:34:45.360 Six months.
00:34:46.280 This is like
00:34:46.880 your waiter
00:34:48.000 at the restaurant
00:34:48.520 hands a bowl of spaghetti
00:34:49.780 with a giant turd in it
00:34:51.380 and you complain
00:34:52.500 and he says,
00:34:52.980 well, look,
00:34:53.540 no meal is perfect.
00:34:56.020 Six months
00:34:56.960 and his reasoning
00:34:59.700 is, oh,
00:35:00.340 it's not going to last forever.
00:35:03.960 They still won't come out
00:35:05.400 and say
00:35:05.900 what has been clear
00:35:07.520 from the beginning,
00:35:08.360 but they still won't say it
00:35:10.560 because Anthony Fauci
00:35:12.840 is allergic to the truth
00:35:14.440 and also like we talked
00:35:16.160 about at the beginning,
00:35:16.920 this is all part
00:35:17.580 of their false reality.
00:35:18.700 So they feel no obligation
00:35:21.020 to the truth whatsoever.
00:35:22.180 They've completely
00:35:23.040 severed themselves from it
00:35:24.560 and they consider
00:35:26.340 the truth itself
00:35:27.060 to be the enemy,
00:35:28.680 in fact.
00:35:30.860 So that's why
00:35:31.660 they've been lying
00:35:32.020 the whole time
00:35:32.320 and they still will not
00:35:33.380 come out and say
00:35:34.120 that, listen,
00:35:35.180 this is endemic.
00:35:37.500 It's going to be
00:35:38.100 with us forever.
00:35:39.400 You're always going
00:35:40.500 to live in a world
00:35:41.120 with COVID-19.
00:35:42.020 You will never escape that.
00:35:43.180 That's always going
00:35:43.860 to be in the world.
00:35:44.720 You'll probably get it
00:35:45.920 at some point
00:35:46.380 if you haven't already.
00:35:47.720 Most of you have probably
00:35:48.580 already had it
00:35:49.220 even if you didn't know
00:35:49.860 you did.
00:35:50.700 And if you haven't had it yet,
00:35:51.740 you're going to get it eventually.
00:35:52.480 I mean,
00:35:52.780 every single person on earth,
00:35:54.220 I think we should just say this,
00:35:56.240 if this has not been
00:35:57.760 made clear to you yet,
00:36:00.020 no matter who you are
00:36:01.100 listening right now,
00:36:02.480 you will at some point
00:36:04.080 get COVID-19.
00:36:05.340 You will get it.
00:36:07.180 Just like at some point
00:36:08.460 you're going to get the flu.
00:36:09.660 You're probably not going
00:36:10.240 to live your whole life
00:36:10.860 and never get the flu.
00:36:13.580 It's endemic
00:36:14.220 and that's what it means
00:36:14.900 when a respiratory virus
00:36:16.240 is endemic.
00:36:17.600 But they still won't say that.
00:36:18.720 They'll never say it.
00:36:21.240 Ten years from now,
00:36:22.100 they'll still be doing
00:36:22.680 segments like that
00:36:23.560 on CNN
00:36:24.800 and he still won't say,
00:36:26.460 listen,
00:36:26.760 this is just,
00:36:27.260 this is the way it is now.
00:36:30.100 And,
00:36:30.460 you know,
00:36:30.820 they could say
00:36:31.620 just like the flu,
00:36:32.600 you know,
00:36:32.820 there's a different flu shot
00:36:34.160 every year.
00:36:34.860 If you want to be protected,
00:36:35.780 you go out and get the flu shot
00:36:36.680 or don't get it.
00:36:37.620 It's up to you.
00:36:38.100 They could say that
00:36:41.160 with the COVID vaccine.
00:36:44.060 You know,
00:36:44.640 there was always new mutations
00:36:46.520 and everything,
00:36:47.140 it's endemic,
00:36:47.700 so you're probably going
00:36:48.780 to have to get it
00:36:49.200 once a year
00:36:49.780 or even more often
00:36:50.880 if you want.
00:36:51.480 But they,
00:36:55.240 they can't say that
00:36:56.320 because the other thing is
00:36:57.000 if they say that
00:36:58.000 kind of ironically,
00:37:00.340 it,
00:37:00.440 you know,
00:37:01.440 it makes people
00:37:02.120 less afraid.
00:37:02.800 In the long term,
00:37:04.920 it makes you less afraid.
00:37:07.220 To be,
00:37:07.660 to be told that,
00:37:08.360 well,
00:37:08.400 this is going to be here forever,
00:37:09.440 then it just,
00:37:10.120 it becomes part of your reality
00:37:11.360 and you start to get used to it.
00:37:12.440 I mean,
00:37:12.600 if they had said that
00:37:13.780 a year ago,
00:37:14.700 if they had been honest
00:37:16.560 a year ago
00:37:17.140 and said,
00:37:18.580 this is endemic,
00:37:19.720 we're always going to have it with us,
00:37:21.180 get used to it,
00:37:22.300 then by now,
00:37:23.740 I think a large number of people,
00:37:25.780 a large majority of people
00:37:26.500 would be kind of used to it.
00:37:29.700 And then you start thinking
00:37:30.660 about masking
00:37:31.300 and you would say,
00:37:32.080 well,
00:37:32.460 I mean,
00:37:32.660 either I'm going to wear the mask
00:37:33.920 forever
00:37:34.440 or I'm going to stop wearing it now
00:37:36.240 because it doesn't make any sense.
00:37:38.140 You know,
00:37:38.460 I can,
00:37:38.960 I can dispense with this fantasy
00:37:40.760 that I'm going to wear the mask
00:37:42.720 for a short period of time
00:37:43.860 or a certain,
00:37:44.520 you know,
00:37:44.760 a certain temporary period of time
00:37:46.020 and then stop wearing it.
00:37:48.420 COVID is here forever.
00:37:49.500 I can,
00:37:49.880 I can wear the mask forever
00:37:50.940 in response to that
00:37:52.060 or I can live my life.
00:37:55.400 And they could have given people
00:37:56.400 a chance a year ago,
00:37:57.560 a year and a half ago
00:37:58.160 to make that,
00:37:58.800 to think of it in those terms,
00:38:00.140 come to terms with it
00:38:00.960 and make their decisions.
00:38:02.240 And if they had,
00:38:04.580 then there are a lot of people
00:38:05.380 right now
00:38:05.820 who are not living
00:38:06.640 normal human lives
00:38:07.520 who might be,
00:38:08.860 but they don't want that.
00:38:10.040 They don't want you living
00:38:10.600 a normal human life.
00:38:11.380 They want you in the mask.
00:38:12.260 They want you afraid forever.
00:38:16.500 And part of making it,
00:38:18.160 that again is the irony of it.
00:38:19.520 Part of making you afraid
00:38:20.560 of COVID
00:38:21.000 is to convince you
00:38:22.220 that soon it will go away.
00:38:26.100 If you,
00:38:26.680 if you understand
00:38:27.340 that it's here forever,
00:38:28.080 you will actually be
00:38:28.800 less afraid of it.
00:38:29.820 All right.
00:38:33.100 Next,
00:38:33.520 what else we got?
00:38:34.260 Quick,
00:38:34.680 okay,
00:38:34.920 an update on this.
00:38:35.660 I mentioned
00:38:36.340 St. Louis University,
00:38:38.240 SLU.
00:38:40.640 You know,
00:38:40.820 I'm supposed to speak there
00:38:41.540 on December 1st.
00:38:42.380 That's next,
00:38:43.140 not this coming Wednesday,
00:38:43.820 but next Wednesday.
00:38:45.140 And there's a petition
00:38:46.880 that started
00:38:47.440 some of the leftist groups
00:38:48.540 on campus.
00:38:49.480 I think this began
00:38:50.420 with the SLU sluts.
00:38:53.180 That's what they call themselves.
00:38:54.220 That's not my term for them.
00:38:55.520 They call themselves the sluts.
00:38:56.580 And so the sluts
00:38:57.140 and some other people
00:38:57.700 on the SLU,
00:38:58.600 they started a petition
00:38:59.340 to keep me off of campus.
00:39:01.400 And last I checked,
00:39:02.620 in fact,
00:39:02.800 I have it right here.
00:39:03.940 They got 1,574 signatures
00:39:07.620 on the campus
00:39:08.560 to keep me off of campus
00:39:09.440 on the basis
00:39:10.800 that I am dangerous
00:39:12.500 and that,
00:39:13.960 you know,
00:39:15.080 I have a lot of,
00:39:15.880 quote,
00:39:16.320 extremely controversial
00:39:17.300 and harmful opinions.
00:39:19.340 Like,
00:39:19.780 feminism is the worst thing
00:39:20.660 that ever happened
00:39:21.100 to human society.
00:39:22.380 And,
00:39:22.560 you know,
00:39:23.620 they say I'm very disrespectful
00:39:24.960 to my opponents.
00:39:26.180 I have called my opponents
00:39:27.700 stupid and morally deranged.
00:39:30.680 And,
00:39:31.200 you know,
00:39:31.600 in response to that,
00:39:32.660 they have come up
00:39:33.400 with this stupid
00:39:34.180 and morally deranged petition
00:39:35.420 as if to prove my point for me
00:39:37.160 and I appreciate that.
00:39:38.300 So they got 1,500 signatures,
00:39:41.920 the keep Matt Walsh
00:39:42.840 off of St. Louis University campus.
00:39:44.960 In response to that,
00:39:46.220 I started the keep Matt Walsh
00:39:47.760 on St. Louis University campus.
00:39:50.060 And our petition
00:39:51.560 at this point has,
00:39:52.920 we're at up to 18,000 signatures
00:39:55.320 on that.
00:39:56.400 And I'm not promoting it anymore.
00:39:57.680 I mean,
00:39:57.780 I promoted it once,
00:39:59.100 you know,
00:39:59.660 on Twitter.
00:40:00.220 I sent it out there
00:40:00.920 and we doubled their signatures
00:40:03.200 in 30 minutes
00:40:03.960 and now we're at 18,000.
00:40:05.380 They're still stuck.
00:40:05.980 So,
00:40:06.320 you know,
00:40:06.520 I think the people have spoken.
00:40:07.600 This is democracy in action.
00:40:10.020 Does that mean the university
00:40:11.180 will respect
00:40:12.160 the will of the people?
00:40:14.060 I don't know.
00:40:15.900 Or will they engage
00:40:17.060 in an insurrection
00:40:17.820 by usurping
00:40:19.040 the will of the people
00:40:20.400 and keeping me off of campus?
00:40:21.500 I'm not sure about that.
00:40:22.260 I will tell you that
00:40:23.000 the administrators on SLU,
00:40:25.700 we're still working through this.
00:40:26.880 You know,
00:40:27.000 they're pulling all manner
00:40:29.660 of dirty tricks right now
00:40:30.840 trying to get the event shut down
00:40:33.400 or trying to convince me
00:40:34.340 to shut it down.
00:40:37.360 So,
00:40:37.900 we're fighting this
00:40:39.900 behind the scenes as well.
00:40:42.040 But one thing they're doing,
00:40:43.400 and this is something
00:40:44.100 that a lot of liberal campuses
00:40:45.180 have cued onto,
00:40:46.640 is that,
00:40:47.560 well,
00:40:47.780 just keep putting in
00:40:49.000 all these safety,
00:40:49.840 quote unquote,
00:40:50.300 safety measures
00:40:51.060 because of COVID.
00:40:52.940 Keep putting them in place
00:40:54.000 until you convince
00:40:55.140 the speaker to pull out
00:40:56.000 because they don't want to be,
00:40:57.020 they don't want to take part
00:40:58.000 in the whole charade anymore.
00:40:59.600 And so that's what the administrators
00:41:00.600 are doing right now.
00:41:01.900 They let the,
00:41:02.760 the last I heard on Friday,
00:41:04.340 they contacted
00:41:05.380 the conservative group,
00:41:06.240 college Republicans,
00:41:06.900 who are bringing me
00:41:07.460 on campus.
00:41:09.060 And they had a whole bevy
00:41:10.580 of new safety precautions
00:41:12.120 they wanted to put in place.
00:41:13.340 And interestingly enough,
00:41:17.100 shockingly,
00:41:17.800 there have been other events
00:41:19.840 on campus in the last year
00:41:21.240 where these safety precautions
00:41:22.520 have not been put in place,
00:41:23.720 but they want,
00:41:24.140 but for me,
00:41:24.800 they want them.
00:41:25.520 So,
00:41:25.860 we're still working through that.
00:41:27.380 And,
00:41:27.500 but I'll tell you one thing,
00:41:28.820 as far as I'm concerned,
00:41:30.300 no matter what,
00:41:31.520 I am going to be on
00:41:33.200 St. Louis University campus
00:41:34.280 next Wednesday,
00:41:35.200 no matter what,
00:41:36.300 one way or another,
00:41:36.960 I will be there.
00:41:40.400 All right,
00:41:41.060 let's move now
00:41:41.820 to the comment section.
00:41:43.340 I got to keep learning
00:41:55.840 this lesson with me.
00:41:56.700 I am a,
00:41:57.100 I am a stubborn,
00:41:59.640 incorrigible bastard.
00:42:01.900 And the more you tell me
00:42:03.180 that you don't want me
00:42:03.920 to do something
00:42:04.560 and the more you try
00:42:05.180 to prevent me from doing it,
00:42:06.060 the more I want to do it.
00:42:07.160 Okay,
00:42:07.540 it is,
00:42:08.300 and a lot of that,
00:42:09.540 I would like to pretend
00:42:10.440 that this is all,
00:42:11.320 you know,
00:42:11.680 just principle
00:42:12.900 and virtue on my part.
00:42:14.860 It's not.
00:42:15.440 A lot of it is just
00:42:16.340 that I am a childish SOB.
00:42:20.440 And when you tell me
00:42:21.320 not to do something,
00:42:21.900 I want to do it.
00:42:22.560 But,
00:42:22.800 but that's,
00:42:23.700 that's how I am.
00:42:26.520 So,
00:42:26.840 you're not going to keep me off.
00:42:27.600 I will be there once again.
00:42:28.560 Okay.
00:42:29.700 This is from Daniel says,
00:42:31.420 I love Matt's move
00:42:32.300 with the whole SLU scenario.
00:42:33.600 It allows the sane,
00:42:34.920 normally ignored majority
00:42:36.040 to have its voice.
00:42:36.940 Every other conservative speaker
00:42:38.060 should take note.
00:42:39.620 Thanks,
00:42:40.480 Daniel.
00:42:41.120 The Rose says,
00:42:42.460 parents don't understand
00:42:43.280 how teaching works.
00:42:44.740 Quoting something
00:42:45.640 we read on Friday.
00:42:47.540 Yes,
00:42:47.720 this absolutely explains
00:42:48.660 why homeschoolers
00:42:49.340 routinely outperform
00:42:50.440 institutionally educated children.
00:42:53.380 Yeah,
00:42:54.140 that's,
00:42:54.540 that's one of the dirty
00:42:55.360 little secrets
00:42:55.780 about homeschooling
00:42:56.400 is that academically,
00:42:58.160 homeschoolers
00:42:59.620 often vastly outperform
00:43:01.780 public schoolers.
00:43:03.460 And,
00:43:04.120 and that's,
00:43:04.600 that's true.
00:43:05.000 I think among,
00:43:05.820 when it comes to socialization too,
00:43:07.440 because that's another concern
00:43:08.600 you always hear about
00:43:09.440 public school,
00:43:10.420 homeschool kids
00:43:11.220 is that they're not
00:43:11.720 properly socialized
00:43:12.800 and they won't develop
00:43:13.440 the right social skills.
00:43:15.200 Well,
00:43:15.480 that's a harder thing
00:43:16.160 to measure
00:43:16.640 than academic performance.
00:43:19.340 But I think the proof
00:43:20.280 is in the pudding here
00:43:20.980 and we can look at
00:43:22.520 public school kids
00:43:24.140 and the public school environment
00:43:26.160 and the culture
00:43:27.320 in the public school system.
00:43:29.080 And you can,
00:43:29.620 you can take a look at that
00:43:30.420 and if you've spent
00:43:30.940 any time in it,
00:43:31.580 as I have,
00:43:32.100 I spent 13 years in it
00:43:33.200 from K through 12
00:43:34.140 when I went to public school.
00:43:35.160 So it's hard to argue
00:43:36.880 that this is an environment
00:43:39.440 that creates socially
00:43:40.860 well-adjusted,
00:43:42.280 mature people.
00:43:43.020 It certainly doesn't.
00:43:44.500 But academically,
00:43:45.280 yeah,
00:43:45.480 you're exactly right.
00:43:46.780 And why is that?
00:43:48.420 I mean,
00:43:48.580 why would homeschool kids
00:43:51.340 have an academic advantage
00:43:53.800 over public school kids?
00:43:54.920 One of the reasons
00:43:55.640 is that,
00:43:57.460 well,
00:43:57.600 for one thing,
00:43:58.520 in homeschool,
00:43:59.220 most of the time,
00:43:59.900 you're not wasting time
00:44:01.120 on,
00:44:01.540 you know,
00:44:01.800 teaching kids
00:44:02.420 critical race theory
00:44:03.320 and gender theory
00:44:04.100 and,
00:44:04.540 you know,
00:44:05.560 and tolerance
00:44:06.980 and all that kind of diversity.
00:44:08.460 We're not wasting any time on that.
00:44:09.400 We're getting right down
00:44:09.900 to the academics.
00:44:11.040 But the other thing is that
00:44:12.160 one of the most important
00:44:14.360 resources
00:44:15.460 you can have
00:44:16.780 as a teacher
00:44:17.380 is
00:44:19.100 a connection with
00:44:21.200 and knowledge
00:44:23.040 of
00:44:23.540 your students.
00:44:25.300 Because education
00:44:26.300 is a personalized
00:44:27.260 thing.
00:44:29.180 It's not something
00:44:30.060 that you can successfully do
00:44:31.580 in a conveyor belt
00:44:33.160 cookie cutter fashion.
00:44:35.200 That's what they're trying
00:44:35.940 to do in the public school system.
00:44:36.920 They've been trying
00:44:37.240 to do it for decades.
00:44:38.180 It doesn't work.
00:44:39.940 Education is personalized.
00:44:41.960 And as a parent,
00:44:43.500 you know your kid
00:44:44.320 better than anybody else.
00:44:46.320 You have a connection
00:44:47.340 with your child,
00:44:48.040 hopefully,
00:44:48.480 that their public school teacher
00:44:49.860 doesn't have
00:44:50.780 and couldn't have
00:44:51.420 in fairness to the public school teacher.
00:44:52.580 I mean,
00:44:52.720 they've got 30 kids
00:44:54.300 in a room
00:44:54.820 for 45 minutes at a time.
00:44:56.580 They can't develop
00:44:57.140 personal connection
00:44:57.820 with all of those kids.
00:44:59.920 that you do have that
00:45:01.380 as a parent
00:45:01.960 and that means
00:45:02.920 that you understand
00:45:03.880 what your kid needs
00:45:05.060 academically
00:45:05.500 and how to reach them
00:45:06.780 and, you know,
00:45:08.000 how to keep them engaged.
00:45:10.280 And that's a great,
00:45:11.240 that's a great advantage
00:45:12.080 that homeschool teachers have.
00:45:15.420 S.E.E. says,
00:45:17.660 BYU has similar problems
00:45:19.240 where LGBTQ
00:45:19.940 and like-minded groups
00:45:21.220 are fighting
00:45:21.720 for more representation,
00:45:23.160 but the lifestyle
00:45:24.080 is not in line
00:45:24.680 with LDS teachings.
00:45:25.700 These religious
00:45:26.120 private institutions
00:45:26.920 are meant to promote
00:45:27.620 higher learning
00:45:28.200 and be separate
00:45:28.740 from the world's views.
00:45:30.620 They focus not only on logic
00:45:32.120 but on moral truth.
00:45:33.800 The hope is
00:45:34.580 that you graduate
00:45:35.520 with more knowledge
00:45:36.380 of the world
00:45:36.740 and come out
00:45:37.220 a more spiritually
00:45:38.060 enlightened person.
00:45:40.060 They'd be crazy
00:45:40.760 not to let you speak.
00:45:41.500 By the way,
00:45:41.940 I'd argue that
00:45:42.480 first wave feminist ideas,
00:45:43.940 voting rights,
00:45:44.420 education,
00:45:44.920 the ability to choose
00:45:45.700 a specific job
00:45:46.500 or career is fine.
00:45:48.260 It's what came after
00:45:49.320 that poisoned everything
00:45:50.220 and turned feminism
00:45:51.540 into a bad word.
00:45:53.100 Well,
00:45:53.480 I agree with the first part
00:45:54.160 of what you said,
00:45:54.600 not the second part.
00:45:57.500 As I've been explaining,
00:45:59.140 you could go back
00:46:02.120 to the founders
00:46:02.800 of feminism
00:46:03.500 and read what they
00:46:05.200 had to say
00:46:06.040 about religion,
00:46:07.400 Christianity,
00:46:08.060 the Bible,
00:46:08.620 the family,
00:46:09.280 marriage,
00:46:09.840 men.
00:46:11.160 Feminism from the very
00:46:12.160 beginning has been
00:46:13.220 an anti-family,
00:46:14.560 anti-male,
00:46:15.560 anti-religious phenomenon.
00:46:17.740 There have been
00:46:18.240 exceptions from the beginning
00:46:19.380 but those exceptions
00:46:20.120 have always been exceptions.
00:46:22.620 And that shouldn't
00:46:22.960 really surprise us
00:46:23.680 because when
00:46:25.260 this idea that
00:46:26.580 first wave feminism
00:46:28.040 in the early 20th century
00:46:29.400 it was pure
00:46:30.080 and right
00:46:30.520 and good
00:46:31.060 and then within
00:46:32.580 a few decades
00:46:33.580 it's arguing
00:46:35.540 for the mass slaughter
00:46:36.740 of babies.
00:46:38.380 I mean,
00:46:38.620 if your movement
00:46:39.300 goes from
00:46:40.280 one thing
00:46:41.320 to within a few years
00:46:42.900 arguing for the mass
00:46:43.660 slaughter of babies,
00:46:44.580 that's a pretty good
00:46:45.880 indication that
00:46:46.500 something was wrong
00:46:47.380 from the beginning.
00:46:48.120 I mean,
00:46:48.260 there is something
00:46:48.720 foundationally wrong
00:46:50.220 with your movement.
00:46:51.360 Now we know
00:46:54.120 the saying
00:46:54.840 about all movements
00:46:55.940 is that
00:46:56.500 eventually they become
00:46:57.800 a business
00:46:58.600 and a racket
00:46:59.180 and maybe that's true
00:47:01.020 but if the business
00:47:03.480 of your movement
00:47:04.320 again within
00:47:04.820 only a few years
00:47:06.280 or decades
00:47:06.760 is to kill babies
00:47:08.480 then that tells you
00:47:09.500 that there's something wrong
00:47:10.360 at its root.
00:47:11.840 I mean,
00:47:12.000 feminism is sick
00:47:12.800 at its root.
00:47:14.580 It may have had
00:47:15.400 a few goals
00:47:16.120 early on
00:47:16.700 that were
00:47:17.140 commendable
00:47:18.180 but that's
00:47:21.340 that doesn't
00:47:21.740 change the fact
00:47:22.320 that it's poisoned
00:47:22.940 at its roots.
00:47:23.980 And now a word
00:47:24.700 from one of my
00:47:25.120 favorite sponsors
00:47:25.640 American Financing.
00:47:26.980 If it feels like
00:47:27.500 everything costs
00:47:28.200 more these days
00:47:28.940 including the cost
00:47:29.720 to borrow money
00:47:30.560 well,
00:47:31.260 that's because
00:47:31.740 it is.
00:47:32.120 Everything is
00:47:32.500 more expensive
00:47:33.060 well,
00:47:34.060 at least for some
00:47:34.560 things like
00:47:34.820 credit cards
00:47:35.240 and personal loans
00:47:35.820 but mortgages
00:47:36.640 still have
00:47:37.220 incredibly low rates
00:47:38.620 which means
00:47:39.020 you should really
00:47:39.680 be looking
00:47:40.160 at your home loan
00:47:40.860 and all of your debt
00:47:41.900 for that matter
00:47:42.440 and figuring out
00:47:43.060 ways to save money
00:47:44.540 because you got money
00:47:45.580 you know,
00:47:46.300 we all do
00:47:47.220 with all the bills
00:47:47.740 we pay every month
00:47:48.460 just money leaking
00:47:49.520 out of your accounts
00:47:50.280 you can put a pin
00:47:51.840 in some of that now
00:47:52.620 and that's what
00:47:53.860 you need American
00:47:54.460 Financing for.
00:47:55.240 This is a family-owned
00:47:56.020 lender that's known
00:47:56.760 for saving people
00:47:57.460 up to $1,000 a month
00:47:58.940 from lower interest rates
00:48:00.440 to more competitive terms
00:48:01.420 or even the ability
00:48:02.140 to access cash
00:48:03.040 they can do all of that
00:48:04.300 and much more
00:48:05.360 and you don't have
00:48:05.820 to reset your loan
00:48:06.580 to get these kinds
00:48:07.420 of savings
00:48:07.780 you can choose
00:48:08.240 any term
00:48:08.800 10 years and over
00:48:09.540 because you shouldn't
00:48:10.560 pay interest
00:48:11.140 for years
00:48:12.060 that you don't need
00:48:12.860 so to pre-qualify
00:48:14.300 for free
00:48:14.820 call 1-866-569-4711

00:48:22.980 You know,

00:48:44.140 especially because
00:48:45.100 it's free for me
00:48:45.740 so I'm not going
00:48:46.500 to spend a dime
00:48:47.060 and I'm going to
00:48:47.400 give everybody
00:48:47.860 my own merchandise
00:48:48.700 and that's the kind
00:48:50.420 of gift quality

00:49:45.040 now let's get to
00:49:46.340 our daily cancellation
00:49:47.040 so today we cancel
00:49:52.440 the Fight for 15 movement
00:49:54.260 though this may be
00:49:55.220 redundant
00:49:55.640 because it has
00:49:56.360 mostly cancelled itself
00:49:57.380 for several years
00:49:58.060 we were told
00:49:59.060 that $15 an hour
00:50:00.160 is the be all
00:50:01.040 and end all
00:50:01.520 if only every worker
00:50:03.040 in America
00:50:03.480 could be paid
00:50:04.060 at least $15 an hour
00:50:05.200 then there would be
00:50:06.320 no more poverty
00:50:07.080 no more hunger
00:50:07.720 no more climate change
00:50:08.880 I'm not totally sure
00:50:10.280 about that last one
00:50:11.040 I meant that last one
00:50:11.940 as kind of a joke
00:50:12.600 but I'm sure
00:50:12.980 if I googled it
00:50:13.600 I would discover
00:50:14.120 that at least
00:50:14.520 one member of the squad
00:50:15.460 has made an argument
00:50:16.740 at some point
00:50:17.360 that a minimum wage
00:50:18.400 of less than $15 an hour
00:50:19.480 causes climate change
00:50:20.360 I'm just assuming
00:50:21.280 that someone has said that
00:50:22.120 or maybe not merely
00:50:23.940 less than $15
00:50:24.680 because after years
00:50:25.740 of clamoring for $15
00:50:26.900 fighting for $15
00:50:28.000 over the last year
00:50:29.240 we've seen many headlines
00:50:30.320 like this
00:50:30.820 and Teen Vogue
00:50:31.540 $15 minimum wage
00:50:33.840 isn't enough
00:50:34.420 for workers
00:50:34.940 to afford rent
00:50:35.700 in any U.S. state
00:50:36.660 and this in Yahoo
00:50:38.120 $15 an hour
00:50:39.060 isn't enough
00:50:39.660 U.S. workers
00:50:40.620 need a living wage
00:50:41.580 fight for $15
00:50:43.280 never mind
00:50:44.240 that's not enough
00:50:44.800 this is of course
00:50:46.220 the unbroken pattern
00:50:47.260 with all progressive causes
00:50:48.640 set a goal
00:50:49.280 make it the ultimate objective
00:50:51.480 the final summit
00:50:52.360 to be climbed
00:50:52.920 and then as soon
00:50:54.120 as you get there
00:50:54.820 to your destination
00:50:55.560 promptly declare
00:50:56.360 that it's paltry
00:50:57.100 and insignificant
00:50:57.640 and we must set course
00:50:58.940 for some farther destination
00:51:00.360 anybody who thinks
00:51:01.700 that you should be satisfied
00:51:02.720 with where you currently are
00:51:03.960 is a monster
00:51:04.580 a bigot
00:51:05.040 a racist
00:51:05.440 a Nazi
00:51:05.860 and worst of all
00:51:06.900 somehow also probably
00:51:07.780 a transphobe
00:51:08.400 this is the flight path
00:51:09.940 for all forms
00:51:10.680 of leftist activism
00:51:11.740 and now we know
00:51:13.120 the next stop
00:51:13.640 it will only be
00:51:14.780 a brief layover
00:51:15.920 we can be sure
00:51:16.540 but a viral post
00:51:17.680 on Twitter
00:51:18.040 has been making the rounds
00:51:19.800 posted originally
00:51:20.520 by a self-described
00:51:21.520 trans-indigenous journalist
00:51:23.200 with they them pronouns
00:51:24.320 it proclaims
00:51:25.520 that the new slogan
00:51:26.300 is this
00:51:27.200 25 or walk
00:51:29.100 potential job applicants
00:51:30.860 are called to engage
00:51:31.860 in a McDonald's
00:51:32.760 employment boycott
00:51:33.860 what this means
00:51:35.200 is that they must
00:51:35.880 refuse to work
00:51:36.600 at McDonald's
00:51:37.240 they must work
00:51:38.200 anywhere but McDonald's
00:51:39.380 until the fast food chain
00:51:41.220 will pay a thriving wage
00:51:42.700 of $25 an hour
00:51:44.100 I mean who needs
00:51:45.500 a living wage anymore
00:51:46.300 let's go for
00:51:47.200 a thriving wage
00:51:48.200 it also calls
00:51:49.680 for a disruption
00:51:50.420 of McDonald's
00:51:51.240 hiring resources
00:51:52.060 you're encouraged
00:51:53.380 to apply for a job
00:51:54.560 schedule the interview
00:51:55.860 and then either
00:51:57.240 never show
00:51:58.400 for the interview
00:51:58.960 or accept the job
00:51:59.980 but don't show up
00:52:00.540 to work
00:52:00.880 the idea
00:52:01.820 is to focus
00:52:02.340 the energy
00:52:02.760 on one company
00:52:03.620 bully them
00:52:04.800 into raising
00:52:05.300 their wage
00:52:05.780 to $25 an hour
00:52:07.120 and then wait
00:52:08.400 for the other
00:52:08.800 dominoes to fall
00:52:09.560 there are some
00:52:11.040 problems with this idea
00:52:12.100 and they're mostly
00:52:13.400 the same problems
00:52:14.040 with the fight
00:52:14.420 for $15 movement
00:52:15.260 and you know
00:52:17.240 when it comes
00:52:17.720 and then it'll be
00:52:19.100 the same problems
00:52:19.620 when it becomes
00:52:20.060 the fight for $35 movement
00:52:21.320 and the fight for $55
00:52:22.220 and the fight for $600 an hour
00:52:24.640 these same problems
00:52:26.120 will still persist
00:52:26.860 so let's go through
00:52:27.480 a few of them
00:52:27.900 very quickly
00:52:28.360 and this is far
00:52:30.020 from an exhaustive list
00:52:30.980 but here it goes
00:52:31.540 first you're not
00:52:33.160 going to bully
00:52:33.720 McDonald's
00:52:34.500 into paying you
00:52:35.200 $25 an hour
00:52:36.260 you will however
00:52:37.980 bully them
00:52:38.440 into replacing you
00:52:39.340 with automated
00:52:39.940 touch screens
00:52:40.660 as they've already
00:52:41.340 begun doing
00:52:42.180 in locations
00:52:42.780 all over the world
00:52:43.920 now I am personally
00:52:45.620 not a fan
00:52:46.200 of this trend
00:52:46.760 I would prefer
00:52:47.880 to see actual
00:52:48.660 human beings
00:52:49.280 working these jobs
00:52:50.100 I also don't like
00:52:51.960 having to touch
00:52:52.540 the same screen
00:52:53.380 that 500
00:52:54.700 greasy fingered
00:52:55.520 people before me
00:52:56.240 touched
00:52:56.560 and the catch 22
00:52:58.000 as always
00:52:58.560 is that none
00:52:59.240 of the human workers
00:53:00.100 in the building
00:53:00.680 have the skill
00:53:01.420 or knowledge
00:53:01.960 required to fix
00:53:03.300 the automated systems
00:53:04.180 when they malfunction
00:53:05.020 humans are replaced
00:53:07.000 by technology
00:53:07.800 that they don't know
00:53:08.940 how to operate
00:53:09.520 or fix
00:53:10.020 we're literally
00:53:11.380 two steps away
00:53:12.120 from Terminator
00:53:12.700 at this point
00:53:13.260 all that to say
00:53:14.040 I take no satisfaction
00:53:15.140 in seeing positions
00:53:16.100 eliminated
00:53:16.540 as robots
00:53:17.760 are substituted
00:53:18.360 for human workers
00:53:19.020 but this is what
00:53:19.720 is happening
00:53:20.180 and will continue
00:53:21.320 to happen
00:53:21.740 and the more
00:53:22.820 you fight
00:53:23.280 to make
00:53:23.620 low-skilled jobs
00:53:24.760 as expensive
00:53:25.420 as possible
00:53:26.040 for employers
00:53:26.680 the more you guarantee
00:53:28.140 that those jobs
00:53:28.840 won't exist
00:53:29.600 in the future
00:53:30.120 second
00:53:31.600 I really hate
00:53:33.260 the snobby
00:53:33.960 elitist attitude
00:53:34.800 that many people
00:53:36.120 have towards
00:53:36.700 blue-collar jobs
00:53:37.540 you know
00:53:38.980 a lot of kids
00:53:39.680 pick this
00:53:40.580 pick this up
00:53:41.380 back in grade school
00:53:42.220 when they're told
00:53:42.860 by their teachers
00:53:43.500 and guidance counselors
00:53:44.400 that if they don't
00:53:44.960 go to college
00:53:45.500 and get the kind
00:53:46.040 of job
00:53:46.380 that requires
00:53:46.780 a college degree
00:53:47.460 they're going to
00:53:48.360 be miserable
00:53:48.860 failures in life
00:53:49.780 if they take
00:53:50.780 this propaganda
00:53:51.320 at face value
00:53:52.040 and they go
00:53:52.400 to college
00:53:52.860 even if they
00:53:53.860 graduate
00:53:54.200 and end up
00:53:54.660 unemployed
00:53:55.180 and living
00:53:55.560 at their
00:53:55.820 parents house
00:53:56.360 still they feel
00:53:57.320 entitled to
00:53:57.860 turn their noses
00:53:58.600 up at people
00:53:59.060 who work
00:53:59.400 for a living
00:53:59.780 and oftentimes
00:54:00.400 make a lot
00:54:00.880 more money
00:54:01.200 than they do
00:54:01.600 which isn't
00:54:01.980 hard if they're
00:54:02.400 unemployed
00:54:02.720 there are many
00:54:04.320 and I mean
00:54:04.640 hundreds and
00:54:05.160 hundreds of jobs
00:54:05.920 so-called
00:54:06.600 blue-collar jobs
00:54:07.500 that don't require
00:54:08.120 college education
00:54:08.920 and yet do
00:54:10.380 require specialized
00:54:11.380 skill
00:54:11.880 and you can make
00:54:12.880 a very respectable
00:54:13.640 living in them
00:54:14.260 while also providing
00:54:15.420 necessary goods
00:54:16.140 and services
00:54:16.560 to the public
00:54:17.060 mechanics
00:54:17.620 plumbers
00:54:18.080 electricians
00:54:18.620 just a few
00:54:19.000 examples
00:54:19.360 these are jobs
00:54:20.680 where you should
00:54:21.300 be able to
00:54:21.980 and certainly
00:54:22.400 can earn
00:54:23.200 both a living
00:54:23.860 wage
00:54:24.220 and a thriving
00:54:25.080 wage
00:54:25.480 not because the
00:54:26.600 government mandates
00:54:27.360 it but because
00:54:27.840 you earn it
00:54:28.500 but running a
00:54:31.540 cash register
00:54:32.280 at a fast food
00:54:33.020 chain is not
00:54:34.020 one of those
00:54:34.720 kinds of jobs
00:54:35.440 entry-level
00:54:37.040 fast food
00:54:37.660 jobs are
00:54:38.220 very very
00:54:39.440 low-skilled
00:54:40.520 being a mechanic
00:54:42.820 is not low-skilled
00:54:43.720 running a cash
00:54:45.740 register
00:54:46.020 at a fast food
00:54:46.460 joint
00:54:46.640 is
00:54:46.960 it's so
00:54:48.200 low-skilled
00:54:48.920 that a 12-year-old
00:54:49.980 could do it
00:54:50.580 if not for
00:54:51.160 child labor laws
00:54:51.900 there's a reason
00:54:53.540 the positions
00:54:54.060 can so easily
00:54:54.960 be replaced
00:54:55.440 by touch screens
00:54:56.220 I mean
00:54:56.540 you're doing
00:54:57.280 a job
00:54:57.660 that the
00:54:57.960 customer
00:54:58.340 can do
00:54:58.820 themselves
00:54:59.460 this weekend
00:55:01.560 we needed
00:55:01.920 a new water
00:55:02.440 heater
00:55:02.660 at our house
00:55:03.160 and some
00:55:03.620 guys came
00:55:04.240 this weekend
00:55:04.580 to install it
00:55:05.520 I can't do
00:55:06.640 that myself
00:55:07.200 I needed
00:55:08.240 someone with
00:55:08.700 their skills
00:55:09.280 to do it
00:55:09.580 I can however
00:55:10.380 punch my own
00:55:11.080 order into the
00:55:11.660 screen at
00:55:12.140 McDonald's
00:55:12.700 I can even
00:55:13.580 bag my own
00:55:14.240 food if we
00:55:14.660 want to do
00:55:14.960 it buffet
00:55:15.720 style
00:55:16.120 it's a job
00:55:17.540 that requires
00:55:18.100 no specialized
00:55:19.140 skill of any
00:55:20.040 kind
00:55:20.420 all workers
00:55:22.740 in all fields
00:55:23.400 at all jobs
00:55:23.980 are technically
00:55:24.500 replaceable
00:55:25.140 one of the
00:55:25.520 reasons as I
00:55:26.040 always say
00:55:26.460 that you
00:55:26.960 should find
00:55:27.280 meaning in
00:55:27.740 your family
00:55:28.220 more than
00:55:28.540 you do
00:55:28.780 at work
00:55:29.160 but the
00:55:30.140 difference
00:55:30.460 is that
00:55:30.800 an entry-level
00:55:31.420 fast food
00:55:32.000 worker
00:55:32.300 is very
00:55:32.980 very easily
00:55:33.860 replaced
00:55:34.420 because literally
00:55:35.920 almost anybody
00:55:36.980 on earth
00:55:37.460 can do
00:55:37.840 that job
00:55:38.420 I don't
00:55:39.880 say this
00:55:40.220 as an insult
00:55:41.000 to people
00:55:41.480 who work
00:55:41.760 those jobs
00:55:42.160 I worked
00:55:42.780 to them
00:55:42.980 too
00:55:43.160 when I
00:55:43.380 was a
00:55:43.580 teenager
00:55:43.880 that's
00:55:44.960 because
00:55:45.140 those kinds
00:55:45.740 of jobs
00:55:46.220 along with
00:55:46.680 the minimum
00:55:46.960 wage
00:55:47.260 itself
00:55:47.580 are made
00:55:48.280 for teenagers
00:55:49.040 they're not
00:55:50.020 intended to
00:55:50.600 be a career
00:55:51.280 you're not
00:55:52.420 supposed to be
00:55:52.940 trying to
00:55:53.520 live off
00:55:54.020 them
00:55:54.200 $25 an
00:55:55.400 hour
00:55:55.620 that's what
00:55:56.800 mechanics
00:55:57.260 and technicians
00:55:57.900 and athletic
00:55:58.460 trainers
00:55:58.860 and sheet
00:55:59.320 metal workers
00:55:59.920 make
00:56:00.220 those are
00:56:01.580 jobs again
00:56:02.040 that require
00:56:02.420 training
00:56:02.840 and skill
00:56:03.400 they couldn't
00:56:04.120 just pull
00:56:04.500 anybody off
00:56:04.980 the street
00:56:05.280 give them
00:56:05.560 a name tag
00:56:06.160 and a 30
00:56:06.860 minute orientation
00:56:07.620 expect them
00:56:08.140 to do it
00:56:08.540 but that is
00:56:10.000 the case
00:56:10.360 with entry-level
00:56:11.100 fast food
00:56:11.640 and I keep
00:56:12.020 stressing
00:56:12.340 entry-level
00:56:13.060 because there
00:56:13.580 are jobs
00:56:14.020 in the food
00:56:14.360 industry
00:56:14.740 which do
00:56:15.680 require a
00:56:16.280 great amount
00:56:16.720 of skill
00:56:17.100 and do
00:56:17.500 pay a living
00:56:17.960 wage
00:56:18.260 or even
00:56:18.740 a thriving
00:56:19.160 wage
00:56:19.480 and should
00:56:20.160 salting the
00:56:21.700 fries
00:56:22.100 or punching
00:56:22.660 an order
00:56:22.960 into the
00:56:23.280 cash register
00:56:23.880 aren't among
00:56:24.640 those jobs
00:56:25.320 which is why
00:56:26.920 you shouldn't
00:56:27.320 try to make
00:56:27.880 yourself
00:56:28.220 comfortable
00:56:28.740 or satisfied
00:56:29.520 with those
00:56:30.340 jobs
00:56:30.760 and that
00:56:32.380 brings us
00:56:32.660 to the
00:56:32.880 third
00:56:33.040 point
00:56:33.320 the focus
00:56:35.040 on minimum
00:56:35.420 wage
00:56:35.780 is depressing
00:56:36.740 it's a
00:56:37.960 kind of
00:56:38.300 despair
00:56:38.840 let's make
00:56:41.040 sure people
00:56:41.360 can live
00:56:41.800 on the
00:56:42.080 minimum
00:56:42.360 why the
00:56:44.220 minimum
00:56:44.480 I mean
00:56:45.040 what sort
00:56:45.320 of mantra
00:56:45.740 is that
00:56:46.000 what sort
00:56:46.500 of mission
00:56:46.860 is that
00:56:47.320 it's the
00:56:48.920 mission of
00:56:49.240 people who
00:56:49.560 want us
00:56:49.800 all to be
00:56:50.080 fed and
00:56:50.560 satiated
00:56:51.040 but not
00:56:51.420 fulfilled
00:56:51.880 despite what
00:56:53.460 the twitter
00:56:53.720 post said
00:56:54.280 they don't
00:56:55.140 want us
00:56:55.380 to thrive
00:56:55.840 there's a
00:56:57.440 reason they
00:56:57.720 want us
00:56:57.960 all living
00:56:58.300 in pods
00:56:58.760 and eating
00:56:59.040 bugs
00:56:59.500 if the
00:57:00.860 goal is
00:57:01.180 to thrive
00:57:01.720 and that
00:57:02.120 should indeed
00:57:02.560 be the
00:57:02.860 goal
00:57:03.060 then pressing
00:57:04.400 buttons
00:57:04.820 and wearing
00:57:05.220 a visor
00:57:05.720 and a
00:57:05.900 name tag
00:57:06.280 ought to
00:57:06.740 be treated
00:57:07.080 as a
00:57:07.420 very
00:57:07.620 temporary
00:57:08.140 stepping
00:57:08.680 stone
00:57:09.140 not a
00:57:09.620 career
00:57:09.980 option
00:57:10.520 not a
00:57:11.240 lifestyle
00:57:11.600 choice
00:57:12.120 I mean
00:57:13.280 even if
00:57:13.640 we could
00:57:13.860 flip a
00:57:14.200 magic
00:57:14.440 switch
00:57:14.800 and ensure
00:57:15.440 that you
00:57:15.680 can live
00:57:16.120 off of
00:57:16.560 even
00:57:17.000 financially
00:57:17.460 thrive
00:57:17.960 off of

00:57:43.940 anyone
00:57:44.360 can
00:57:44.700 do
00:57:44.960 that's
00:57:45.660 the
00:57:45.780 good
00:57:45.940 news
00:57:46.140 if

00:58:04.280 that
00:58:04.520 for
00:58:04.740 six
00:58:05.200 months
00:58:05.580 and
00:58:05.720 you're
00:58:05.880 already

00:58:06.520 get
00:58:06.640 a

00:58:07.040 because
00:58:07.920 the

00:58:12.660 which
