The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 983 - My Argument With JK Rowling

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, a pop singer lasts about half a week after provocatively declaring that women are females. 0.99

00:00:06.040 Her cave and surrender were pathetic and embarrassing and inevitable. 0.99

00:00:09.040 Also, today we're going to talk about why cowards like this are the real villains here, I think. 0.99

00:00:13.020 Also, as the Biden administration tries to recover from Biden's Ron Burgundy moment,

00:00:17.780 the contents of Hunter Biden's iCloud are allegedly leaked on 4chan.

00:00:21.720 A female soldier openly questions her loyalty to her country after Roe was overturned.

00:00:26.040 After years of bragging about all of its women priests and bishops,

00:00:29.480 the Church of England now says that the word woman has no definition, so that's a little bit awkward.

00:00:34.020 And in our daily cancellation, the mainstream media finally acknowledged what is a woman while I was away on vacation. 0.96

00:00:40.000 The resulting hit piece is even more disingenuous and ridiculous than you might expect.

00:00:44.320 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show. 0.86

00:00:46.500 While our nation's authorities are now openly admitting to having completely missed the flashing red lights of inflation

00:01:01.460 and this administration's failed economic policies, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted she was wrong about the path inflation would take.

00:01:08.140 She said, quote, there have been unanticipated and large shocks in the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks

00:01:14.340 that have affected our economy badly that at the time I didn't fully understand.

00:01:18.500 Admitting that herself.

00:01:19.220 Well, there you have it straight from the horse's mouth.

00:01:21.600 I didn't fully understand, she says.

00:01:23.620 Not the only thing that this administration doesn't understand.

00:01:26.000 Now, I know you're worried about affording basic necessities in the months to come, food, gas, shelter, everything else.

00:01:32.760 But she didn't know.

00:01:34.200 You know, it's not her fault.

00:01:35.220 She just didn't know.

00:01:35.840 It goes without saying that you can't trust the so-called authorities on economic policy,

00:01:40.360 which is why you should invest at least some of your money in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group.

00:02:19.900 Well, I officially returned to my show from vacation today, which means that in preparation for this event,

00:02:27.000 I had to make my official return to Twitter yesterday.

00:02:30.420 I had only ventured, you know, back into that overflowing cyber septic tank for a few hours before my name was trending.

00:02:36.800 And I thought that at first, you know, I was trending because everybody was welcoming me back with well wishes and warm salutations and all that.

00:02:44.460 But it turns out that most of the messages were considerably less friendly.

00:02:50.220 I guess that's no surprise on Second Thought.

00:02:52.420 The conversation seemed to revolve around a brief argument that I had with J.K. Rowling on Sunday.

00:02:57.760 Because, of course, the first thing that I do when I come back from vacation and I'm really well rested is I pick a fight with a random famous person.

00:03:04.900 But before we get to that, we need to back up all the way to ancient history, which was last Tuesday when I was still out fishing and the singer Macy Gray was igniting a media firestorm by controversially suggesting that women exist.

00:03:22.180 So during her appearance on Piers Morgan, where I think she was promoting an album or something like that, the conversation kind of drifted to the topic of gender.

00:03:30.060 And Morgan posed the ultimate question, of course, the question of our generation, which Gray had at first no trouble answering at all.

00:03:39.980 I'm sure you've heard this clip already, but let's play it again just for our own enjoyment.

00:03:45.140 Here it is.

00:03:46.520 If I asked you what a woman is, what would you say? 1.00

00:03:49.720 Let's say a human being with boobs. 1.00

00:03:53.460 You have to start there. 0.99

00:03:55.080 Yeah.

00:03:55.420 I mean, the dictionary is quite straightforward.

00:03:56.940 It just says a human adult female, right?

00:03:58.580 Now, a lot of people, yeah, see, that's, now that's a little getting confusing.

00:04:03.220 The whole he, she, they, that's getting a little laugh. 0.82

00:04:06.300 And I'm not sure why, really.

00:04:07.640 It's a bit like this whole issue of transgenders in sport.

00:04:11.560 Because I support all trans rights to fairness and equality.

00:04:15.220 Me too.

00:04:15.680 But not where you have people born to obvious physical superior bodies.

00:04:19.520 Me too.

00:04:20.120 Transitioning and then thrashing the women at their sport. 1.00

00:04:22.880 I totally agree.

00:04:24.040 And I will say this, and everybody's going to hate me, but as a woman, just because you

00:04:29.000 go change your parts doesn't make you a woman. 1.00

00:04:31.080 Right.

00:04:31.420 Sorry.

00:04:32.580 You feel that?

00:04:33.880 I know that for a fact.

00:04:35.580 Like, if you want me to call you a her, I will, because that's what you want. 1.00

00:04:39.300 But that doesn't make you a woman, just because I call you a her, and just because you got 1.00

00:04:42.960 a surgery.

00:04:43.440 So, thus began the usual circus routine.

00:04:49.640 After saying this objectively true and normal thing, Gray was reviled by the left.

00:04:56.260 Slammed as a transphobe and a bigot, and she's, you know, well, she's marginalizing and erasing 1.00

00:05:02.080 trans people through her refusal to allow women to be marginalized and erased. 0.60

00:05:07.720 That's basically the accusation.

00:05:09.260 And meanwhile, on the other side of it, the right hailed her as a hero, you know, a courageous

00:05:14.780 warrior triumphing over cancel culture.

00:05:18.140 She was applauded for standing firm and being bold in the face of the backlash.

00:05:23.380 But the applause, as is almost always the case, unfortunately, came too soon.

00:05:29.580 Gray made it all of about three days before buckling.

00:05:33.520 And on Thursday of the very same week, the singer made the traditional pilgrimage to

00:05:38.760 a morning TV show to express her deep regrets and sorrow and to beg for absolution.

00:05:45.080 She explained that over the previous couple of days, the experience of having a bunch of

00:05:49.200 blue-haired freaks screaming at her had been very educational, and it had been very enlightening.

00:05:54.780 She'd learned a lot from the blue-haired freaks. 0.95

00:05:57.500 That's my words, not hers.

00:05:58.960 I'm paraphrasing.

00:05:59.600 In fact, she'd learned that everything she thought she knew about the world was wrong.

00:06:04.720 Biology is a myth, and that she, as a woman, doesn't actually exist. 0.99

00:06:09.200 She learned all of this in two or three days.

00:06:11.380 And they had taught her this by crying and screaming.

00:06:15.160 It was the most educational temper tantrum she'd ever witnessed, apparently. 0.81

00:06:19.580 Let's watch that.

00:06:20.200 I never, of course, not meant to hurt anybody with what I said.

00:06:26.360 I'm actually a huge, I think it takes a lot of courage to be yourself, to go out in the

00:06:33.080 world and be honest about who you are.

00:06:35.840 And so I think anyone who is in the LGBT community is a hero and sets an example for all of us with

00:06:44.300 that, you know?

00:06:46.220 So I said some things that didn't go over well, but my intention was never to hurt anybody.

00:06:56.460 I feel bad that I did hurt some people.

00:06:59.840 And I think it's, you know, it's just about education.

00:07:05.800 It's about conversation and us getting to a point where we understand each other.

00:07:10.820 And that only happens with, you know, I've learned a lot through this.

00:07:17.620 So I think that that was one of the reasons it might have happened.

00:07:22.460 It was a huge learning experience for me.

00:07:25.040 You know, I think you can, like I said in there, you can call yourself, like you, whoever

00:07:31.820 you believe you are, and no one can dictate that for you or take that away from you, you

00:07:37.380 know?

00:07:37.980 I think life is an education process.

00:07:40.400 The more you sit with people, the more you talk to people, it changes your perspective.

00:07:44.320 So has your perspective changed, do you feel?

00:07:47.580 I've learned so much and I think, you know, being a woman is a vibe and it's something I'm

00:07:53.640 very proud of and it's very precious to me.

00:07:56.960 And I think that if you, in your heart, feel that that's what you are, then that's what

00:08:02.720 you are, regardless of what anybody says or thinks.

00:08:05.960 You know what I'm saying?

00:08:07.400 Well, it's a good thing, you know, that all the groveling bases were covered there.

00:08:11.100 She didn't skip any of the steps.

00:08:12.800 She was very thorough in that way.

00:08:14.640 The script was followed with precision.

00:08:16.720 And though we've grown so accustomed to seeing this pageant of humiliation play out, it never

00:08:24.800 gets any easier to watch, at least not for me anyway.

00:08:27.380 Each time I feel like I'm watching somebody cut their own heart out of their chest.

00:08:32.780 It's grotesque and disgusting and humiliating, but weirdly fascinating. 0.93

00:08:37.200 You're just kind of glued to the screen watching this sick display. 0.93

00:08:40.800 And you can't look away as much as you want to, because we know the steps here.

00:08:45.360 Step one, the penitent claims that she's learned a lot and she's been educated.

00:08:51.980 That's the necessary first step.

00:08:54.120 Never explains what she's learned exactly or how she learned it or exactly what insights

00:08:59.460 her critics offered to her.

00:09:00.740 That's because there was no insight, unless guttural screaming and demonic convulsing counts

00:09:06.580 as an insight.

00:09:07.220 I don't know.

00:09:07.560 So, and then step two, she flatters the rage mob. 1.00

00:09:10.780 You know, she lays down her offerings at their feet. 1.00

00:09:13.820 She bows before them in worship, adoring them, declaring in this case that everybody in the

00:09:19.240 LGBT community is a hero, all of them, because, of course, it requires true heroism to belong

00:09:26.120 to the most protected, privileged, and coddled, and applauded group of people to ever exist

00:09:31.320 on planet Earth.

00:09:32.220 That requires heroism to do that.

00:09:33.960 And then step three, she finally and fully renounces all of her past beliefs.

00:09:39.260 She renounces reality and truth to self.

00:09:41.300 She renounces her own existence, really, proclaiming that contrary to what she had always thought

00:09:47.780 up until about breakfast time that morning, there is no objective or biological basis to

00:09:52.940 womanhood.

00:09:54.180 Being a woman is, as she put it, a vibe. 0.98

00:09:57.320 You know, it's just a vibe.

00:09:59.200 A woman isn't anything. 1.00

00:10:00.820 But, you know, if you feel like you are one, then you are one, and what you are is nothing.

00:10:07.620 All women are nothing, and everybody is invited to join them in their nothingness. 1.00

00:10:12.880 Now, of course, if being a woman is just a vibe, then it doesn't really make a lot of sense

00:10:20.420 for men to take drugs or get surgeries as part of their transition process.

00:10:27.000 There is no such thing as a vibe surgery.

00:10:29.880 You can't surgically implant or remove a vibe, right?

00:10:33.100 You can't go to the doctor and say, you know, I want to have a certain vibe.

00:10:37.640 Can you give me a certain...

00:10:39.020 That doesn't make any sense.

00:10:39.940 If it's all about the vibe, if it's about the feeling, then the whole gender transition 0.55

00:10:45.060 industry makes no sense, and it's built on a false premise.

00:10:48.800 So it turns out that either way, whether the claims made by gender ideology are wrong or

00:10:54.620 right, the whole process of gender transition is nonsensical and false.

00:10:58.800 Either way.

00:11:00.580 But as we've learned, we cannot expect the proponents of this idea to notice these kinds

00:11:05.820 of contradictions or care about them if they do notice them.

00:11:08.200 And this all brings us back to the beginning of our story. 0.89

00:11:11.520 I criticized Macy Gray for, you know, on Twitter for being a gutless coward, which is what she 1.00

00:11:17.340 is. 0.96

00:11:18.120 And after some pushback to that, I tweeted this.

00:11:20.640 I said, sorry, but women who publicly renounce the definition of woman for fear of mean comments 0.98

00:11:24.800 from trans activists deserve all the scorn they get. 1.00

00:11:27.860 That kind of gutless cowardice is exactly what got us into this position in the first place. 0.98

00:11:31.360 That's what I said.

00:11:32.680 Okay.

00:11:33.440 Now, a little while later, J.K.

00:11:34.960 Rowling, who famously has stood up courageously against the trans mob, responded to me with 0.95

00:11:39.760 a defense of Gray and of other women who have similarly folded like cheap lawn chairs. 0.97

00:11:45.440 Rowling tweeted in response to me.

00:11:46.980 She said, endless death threats and rape threats, threats of loss of livelihood, employers targeted,

00:11:52.740 physical harassment, family addresses posted online with pictures of bomb making manuals

00:11:57.360 aren't mean comments.

00:11:58.940 If you don't yet understand what happens to women who stand up on this issue, back off.

00:12:04.160 She said, talking to me. 0.89

00:12:05.760 Now, lots of other feminists in the so-called turf camp or the gender critical camp, as they 1.00

00:12:10.280 prefer to call themselves, most of them, they've echoed and agreed with this sentiment from Rowling.

00:12:14.740 In fact, I've heard this from feminists quite a lot since my film came out, that it's easy 1.00

00:12:21.380 for me.

00:12:22.040 They say, I don't know what it's like.

00:12:24.000 OK, I don't have to make the same kind of sacrifices.

00:12:28.320 I don't put the same things on the line.

00:12:30.360 I don't get treated the same way.

00:12:33.100 Nobody attacks me the way they attack women who speak out.

00:12:36.600 And now Rowling, whose courage on this issue, as I said, I really respect and I've said that

00:12:41.180 many times, is singing the same tune.

00:12:44.360 But she's completely wrong, of course.

00:12:46.260 And it just shows how feminists who criticize the trans agenda, even though they're right 0.99

00:12:53.180 about the issue of transgenderism, they're still hamstrung and handicapped by left-wing

00:12:58.560 identity politics and victimology.

00:13:01.120 They can't accept an alliance with a man because they resent us for our perceived privilege, even

00:13:08.140 though it's a privilege they've completely invented in their heads.

00:13:11.600 Because the fact is that nearly everything she describes, the things that I can't understand

00:13:18.780 supposedly because they only happen to women, supposedly, they have happened to me with great

00:13:23.900 frequency and ferocity, I would say, over the past month and before that, but especially

00:13:28.520 over the past month.

00:13:29.780 I've had many death threats.

00:13:31.340 I've been doxed many times.

00:13:34.000 OK, I don't I don't.

00:13:35.080 The thing is, I don't talk about these things a lot.

00:13:36.700 I mentioned them here and there.

00:13:37.520 I don't spend a lot of time talking about them, but I can assure you they are happening.

00:13:43.120 I've been threatened, harassed, insulted.

00:13:46.320 They've tried to de-platform me.

00:13:47.540 They tried to get me fired.

00:13:48.600 They tried to get my advertisers to boycott me, et cetera, and so forth, over and over and

00:13:53.020 over again. 0.96

00:13:54.180 I don't doubt at all that trans activists are vicious monsters towards any woman who defies 0.98

00:14:01.400 them, but the operative aspect there is defies them, not woman. 1.00

00:14:07.440 They cannot tolerate defiance from anyone.

00:14:11.860 The survival of their fragile worldview, as we've seen, depends on silencing all of the

00:14:17.880 opposition, no matter who it's coming from.

00:14:20.780 It doesn't matter if it's the idea that if it's coming from a from a white conservative

00:14:26.920 man that they're going to lay off.

00:14:28.780 No, he's good.

00:14:29.480 He's one of the good ones.

00:14:30.200 Let's leave him alone.

00:14:31.840 It's just it's hilarious.

00:14:35.400 But here's the thing.

00:14:37.980 If I had over the past month or any if I any time in the future cave to the mob and pull

00:14:44.700 a Macy Gray, I would deserve scorn to endless amounts of it.

00:14:50.240 OK, I would tell you right now, if I ever were to do that, you should scorn me and despise

00:14:55.260 me for that.

00:14:55.760 Now, it's not going to happen, I can assure you of that, because I would quite literally

00:15:01.140 rather be dead than surrender to these people. 0.94

00:15:03.620 I'd rather take a bullet to the head than debase myself the way Macy Gray did. 1.00

00:15:08.340 And it wouldn't even be a difficult choice. 0.97

00:15:10.120 But if that were not the case and I crumbled under the onslaught and turned traitor on truth

00:15:17.220 for the sake of protecting myself, I would be a I would be a worse villain in this story

00:15:23.440 than any individual trans militant. 0.97

00:15:26.400 Because, as I said in the original tweet, the cowards are the ones who got us into this mess. 0.96

00:15:33.100 Why is that?

00:15:34.000 Well, because there were never enough and still are not enough trans militants to forcibly 1.00

00:15:39.620 drag our society into the mass epidemic of madness that we're currently experiencing.

00:15:44.740 They can't do it on their own without our consent.

00:15:48.360 As much as they would like to, as much as they're trying to, they can't.

00:15:51.680 Because in order for this to happen, it has required and will continue to require the

00:15:57.460 acquiescence of countless people who know better, who know the truth, but implicitly

00:16:03.840 or in many cases explicitly renounce and disavow that knowledge in order to preserve their own

00:16:09.080 comfort and their own safety.

00:16:10.920 But most of the time, it's just their own comfort, because most of the time, their safety is not

00:16:13.920 really in jeopardy.

00:16:15.180 Sometimes it is, but in most cases, it's not.

00:16:17.740 You know, I really don't think that anyone was going to go kill Macy Gray because of 0.99

00:16:22.480 a one-minute conversation she had on Piers Morgan.

00:16:27.000 I wouldn't put anything past these people, but I really doubt that was going to happen.

00:16:31.080 What she was trying to protect was her financial security and just her comfort, and really,

00:16:35.480 she just wanted to get along with her Hollywood friends and her friends in the music industry,

00:16:38.720 and that's what she was trying to protect.

00:16:39.740 Every time a coward collapses like this, betraying themselves and all the rest of us on the team

00:16:48.040 common, you know, on team common sense, when they, when they, when we are betrayed in this

00:16:52.240 way, as we are so often, they only make it that much harder for whoever the mob turns its

00:16:57.380 sights on next.

00:16:58.800 So it's not a victimless crime here.

00:17:02.620 The mob is emboldened and fueled by every person who sells their souls to it.

00:17:08.260 They are vultures who feed on the dignity that you abandon and leave on the floor.

00:17:13.900 They, they feast on your subservience and your submission and your self-debasement.

00:17:22.240 The only way to stop them is to starve them of this fuel, is to look them in the eyes and

00:17:28.560 say, no, I apologize for nothing.

00:17:30.640 I am right.

00:17:31.700 You are wrong. 1.00

00:17:33.280 Now go scream about it some more, you damned hobgoblins. 1.00

00:17:36.940 I don't care. 1.00

00:17:37.500 They don't scare me and laugh in their face.

00:17:41.040 That's how you handle it.

00:17:43.360 Anything less than that.

00:17:45.000 And you're part of the problem.

00:17:47.500 Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:17:55.720 Well, if you like skydiving, great, but you got to get your will finalized before you go

00:18:01.200 skydiving.

00:18:01.780 It's just a fact that 100% of people who skydive and 100% of people who breathe will die.

00:18:07.660 Okay.

00:18:07.760 In fact, 100% of people who do anything at all anywhere will die.

00:18:12.880 So whether you're going out with a bang skydiving, you're going to live another hundred years or

00:18:16.680 whatever it is, a will isn't about you.

00:18:19.200 It's about your loved one.

00:18:20.400 It's about the really hard decisions they need to make.

00:18:23.560 If something were to happen to you, don't make your family make hard decisions when all they

00:18:27.960 should be focused on is grieving.

00:18:29.560 Instead, give them all the answers like life support or pull the plug, buried or cremated.

00:18:34.520 I mean, if you die skydiving, there's not going to be a life support issue because you're just

00:18:37.880 going to be a pancake on the ground.

00:18:38.860 But you get it.

00:18:39.480 There's a lot of decisions to make.

00:18:41.780 Whatever it happens to be, you need to have the will in place.

00:18:44.880 But here's the deal.

00:18:45.740 The judge who it takes over, if you don't have a will, they don't know who your best friend is

00:18:50.520 or who you trust to raise your kids.

00:18:52.240 The fact is, a will is something that can take as little as five minutes to set up.

00:18:55.680 And if you don't do it, you're acting selfishly.

00:18:58.920 So go to epicwill.com, use promo code Walsh, and I'll even save you 10%.

00:19:02.420 10%, I mean, come on, you can literally have a comprehensive will starting at $119.

00:19:07.220 And if you don't have a will, you're gift wrapping money to the state by letting the

00:19:11.660 state use its will to decide everything for you.

00:19:14.580 Don't trust the state to make any decision for your family.

00:19:17.020 Go to epicwill.com, use promo code Walsh, and just get it done.

00:19:21.780 All right, well, as mentioned, I was on vacation last week.

00:19:25.480 I didn't tell you I was going on vacation because I thought that it'd be best for you to experience

00:19:30.020 the trauma unexpectedly.

00:19:32.420 And so that's the strategy I went with.

00:19:34.020 And in fact, I'm still sort of on vacation.

00:19:35.540 Not really.

00:19:36.000 At least I'm in the place where I was vacationing.

00:19:38.540 And I asked the Daily Wire, could I stay here for a few more, like a couple more weeks

00:19:42.160 and do the show from here?

00:19:44.080 And they very eagerly and quickly said yes.

00:19:46.680 And at first I was happy about that.

00:19:48.180 But then I was sort of offended that they were so eager and happy for me not to be there.

00:19:52.340 I try not to think about it very much.

00:19:54.560 Anyway, the drive up here was about 20 hours, all told, which we did with stops, which we

00:20:01.640 did in about a day and a half with four kids.

00:20:05.660 And it was a little rough, I'll be honest with you, for the first 17 hours.

00:20:09.560 But we really hit a stride after that point, I think.

00:20:12.240 The worst thing that happened, though, on the way up here is, and this was about, I don't

00:20:16.880 know, like 18 hours into it.

00:20:18.040 And we were just disheveled and annoyed and everything, as you can imagine.

00:20:22.340 And we stopped at a Chick-fil-A.

00:20:26.320 And I'm in the parking lot with my kids.

00:20:29.080 My wife had to run in to go to the bathroom. 1.00

00:20:32.140 And I'm yelling at my kids, just because we've been in the car for 18 hours, and they were

00:20:37.860 going out of their minds insane.

00:20:39.360 So I'm trying to, it's like I'm scolding them in that sort of helpless way that you do

00:20:42.260 when you're in a car with them.

00:20:43.200 And there's nothing you can, there's no way to really punish them immediately anyway.

00:20:46.520 And so I'm doing that, and then I look over, and there's this car parked right next to

00:20:50.760 us, looking at me, like kind of smiling, because they're fans of the show, and they're

00:20:55.060 witnessing all of this.

00:20:56.940 And so then we had a little bit of an awkward conversation.

00:20:59.720 But then the worst part about this, and I just have to tell you this, I was waiting for

00:21:04.000 this to be a scandal, and everyone wanted to find out about it, but now I'm just going

00:21:06.520 to tell you myself.

00:21:07.960 The worst part is, what I thought about afterwards, is that I was sitting in the passenger seat of

00:21:14.080 the car, and my wife came in and sat in the driver's seat. 1.00

00:21:17.820 And we had this conversation with them, and they didn't say anything, but I can only imagine

00:21:21.320 if they're members of the Sweet Baby Gang, the judgment they must have been thinking in

00:21:25.760 their heads towards me, that I was not driving the car.

00:21:28.480 And I just want to say for the record, I did 18 hours of this drive.

00:21:33.580 After that, I said, fine, I'll let my wife drive, because I might fall asleep and kill everybody 1.00

00:21:38.480 if I don't.

00:21:39.440 So I did make that decision.

00:21:40.880 But I wouldn't begrudge them thinking less of me after seeing that, because I would.

00:21:48.900 Anytime I see a man not driving his own car, I judge him.

00:21:52.460 And then so, I guess this is like punishment from the universe.

00:21:56.360 And it sends a message that what I should have done is put my own pride and masculinity

00:22:01.120 above safety.

00:22:02.340 That's what I should have done.

00:22:03.520 I made the wrong choice, and I paid for it.

00:22:05.580 All right, so let's start with this.

00:22:07.440 This is a good way to start off, I think.

00:22:08.680 Kamala Harris was interviewed on CBS over the weekend and had another moment of sheer

00:22:15.440 articulate brilliance.

00:22:17.940 And I don't know, each one just gets better than the last, in my opinion.

00:22:21.600 Let's watch this.

00:22:22.600 Check it out.

00:22:24.040 Did Democrats fail past Democratic presidents, congressional leaders to not codify Roe v.

00:22:30.660 Wade over the past five decades?

00:22:32.980 I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues

00:22:40.300 are just settled.

00:22:41.920 Certain issues are just settled.

00:22:43.420 Clearly, we're not.

00:22:44.640 No, that's right.

00:22:45.300 And that's why I do believe that we are living, sadly, in real unsettled times.

00:22:52.700 Brilliant.

00:22:53.160 So, just a quote, I do believe that we have rightly believed, but we certainly believed

00:22:58.980 that certain issues are just settled.

00:23:01.620 Certain issues are just settled.

00:23:03.480 And that's why I do believe that we are living in real unsettled times.

00:23:07.460 Remember what I told you, okay?

00:23:08.580 This is the only way to understand Kamala.

00:23:10.160 Well, not understand her.

00:23:11.140 That's not exactly the right word I'm looking for.

00:23:12.560 So, this is the, well, it's a way of not, it's not a way of understanding the meaning

00:23:17.440 behind her words because there is no meaning, but it's a way of understanding why she has

00:23:21.820 no meaning when she speaks.

00:23:22.920 You know, why is she babbling? 0.84

00:23:24.080 And it's because, as I've told you, and you really heard it there, I think perfect example

00:23:28.820 of it is that she never knows what word she's going to say next, okay?

00:23:34.160 Each, every time she speaks, for her speaking is a continuous game of word association.

00:23:40.880 And so, she just throws one word out there, and it's just a journey.

00:23:45.340 She just decides what word's going to be next, and she stitches it together, throws a period

00:23:49.420 in there, a question mark in there, but it doesn't really mean anything, and she's just

00:23:52.420 saying words.

00:23:53.680 But that's why you find, she gets into these rhythms where she'll use the same word over

00:23:58.460 and over again in slightly different contexts, and it doesn't make any sense at all, but

00:24:02.340 it's just word association.

00:24:03.700 She's just kind of, she's just kind of freestyling as she goes.

00:24:07.100 That's the way she speaks.

00:24:08.080 Um, and it's, it's, it is in some ways kind of remarkable.

00:24:12.920 Um, and I guess this is what happens when you are totally vacuous, you have nothing to

00:24:19.680 say, you have no content at all inside your head.

00:24:22.920 Now, that's not, that's not remarkable for a politician.

00:24:25.360 That's the case for most of them. 0.70

00:24:26.980 That's why I hate almost all of them.

00:24:29.220 But then on top of that, you have no BS game whatsoever.

00:24:34.040 You are, you are not a BS artist.

00:24:36.420 Okay.

00:24:36.620 You are very much an amateur.

00:24:38.180 So when you're not able to BS your way through it, now most politicians are at least decently

00:24:41.960 okay at that part of it.

00:24:43.400 Uh, but yet you have nothing to say.

00:24:44.840 You end up with Kamala Harris.

00:24:46.700 And this though did not manage to overshadow.

00:24:50.000 I think the Ron Burgundy moment from Joe Biden, which I want to play this clip because then it

00:24:55.000 ties into another story that I want to talk about.

00:24:58.140 Um, and I'm sure you've heard this already, but we're going to play it again, just for,

00:25:01.960 again, for our own enjoyment.

00:25:03.160 Here's Joe Biden reading the prompters a few days before this verbatim and, um, and, and

00:25:10.080 literally including the stuff that's supposed to be parenthetical that he wasn't supposed

00:25:13.600 to read out loud, but of course he did.

00:25:14.780 Let's, let's listen to that again.

00:25:16.860 It is noteworthy that the percentage of women who registered to vote and cast a ballot is consistently 0.91

00:25:22.440 higher than the percentage of the men who do so.

00:25:25.260 End of quote.

00:25:25.780 Repeat the line.

00:25:27.720 Women are not without electoral and or political or, or maybe precisely, not and or, or political 1.00

00:25:34.460 power.

00:25:35.660 That's another saying that you, the women of America can determine the outcome of this 1.00

00:25:40.440 issue.

00:25:41.680 Now, as the Federalist reports, the White House, uh, over the last few days, they've tried to

00:25:46.640 clean that up a little bit and they actually changed the official White House transcript.

00:25:51.540 Anytime the president speaks, you can, uh, go to the, the White House website and they

00:25:56.400 have official transcripts of whatever he said.

00:25:59.040 And for the, you know, the person transcribing Joe Biden, it's always, that's always a challenge.

00:26:04.880 Just like the, the sign language interpreter is in a very challenging position with Joe Biden

00:26:09.800 and the person transcribing him is in a challenging position also.

00:26:12.600 So, so they misquote him as saying, end of quote, let me repeat the line.

00:26:20.340 But he didn't say, let me repeat the line.

00:26:21.500 He just said, repeat the line because that was the prompter, the person behind the prompter

00:26:26.060 instructing him, repeat the line.

00:26:27.460 He just said, instead he just, he just read it out loud.

00:26:29.580 Now, this to me, this kind of story to me is even bigger than this, which I'll, which

00:26:41.300 I'll get to now.

00:26:41.880 This is Washington Examiner.

00:26:44.000 It says a lot of this is, uh, there's a lot of this is still has not been officially confirmed

00:26:48.480 and all of that.

00:26:49.280 And, uh, and, you know, to, to the extent that we wait for the mainstream media to officially

00:26:53.420 confirm anything, that just means that never will be.

00:26:55.560 That's always the position we're in whenever there's embarrassing information about a Democrat

00:26:59.800 circulating out there.

00:27:01.220 This is what the Washington Examiner reports.

00:27:02.960 They say the contents of Hunter Biden's iCloud account have allegedly been hacked by users

00:27:08.340 of the 4chan community who posted screenshots purported to be from his phone, from Hunter

00:27:13.280 Biden's phone and his computer on the website's main political forum late Saturday night.

00:27:17.740 Administrators on the image board moved quickly in the hours after the content was posted to

00:27:21.200 pull down threads that included materials from the alleged leak, leaving many on the site,

00:27:25.020 which is known for featuring some of the most salacious subject matter on the internet

00:27:27.700 furious.

00:27:29.460 Um, there's been no, of course, the white house has not issued any statement about this

00:27:34.320 whatsoever.

00:27:35.020 The content of the leak could not immediately be verified by the Washington Examiner and

00:27:38.300 a white house representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

00:27:41.500 Big surprise there.

00:27:42.800 It was also not immediately clear if the contents of the 4chan leak included any materials from

00:27:46.780 the younger Biden's infamous laptop of which the Washington Examiner verified the authenticity

00:27:51.020 earlier this year.

00:27:52.060 So there's a lot of, um, again, supposedly from, from Hunter Biden's iCloud account, someone

00:28:00.340 over 4chan was able to hack into it and they released a lot of stuff and it's circulating

00:28:04.440 out there on the internet. 0.62

00:28:05.780 Uh, it's incredibly embarrassing and disgusting and criminal. 0.64

00:28:09.800 There's videos allegedly of Hunter Biden.

00:28:12.440 There's one where he, I have to keep saying allegedly, put the scare quotes around that, um, where he's

00:28:18.100 measuring out crack, appears to be measuring out crack on like a scale and he, and he, and

00:28:22.980 he takes a video of him.

00:28:24.700 He films himself measuring out the crack and then I guess arguing with his crack dealer

00:28:29.760 about whether it's, you know, enough crack.

00:28:31.960 So even though this is from 4chan and it has not been independently verified, it's, it, my

00:28:38.740 interpretation personally is that the images and the videos and everything do seem to be

00:28:45.700 very legitimate.

00:28:47.620 I mean, it's just appear either that or it's the most, it's either the content is legitimate

00:28:53.700 or it's the most deviously and expertly done, um, you know, Photoshop fake that we've ever

00:29:05.240 seen.

00:29:05.700 It's like one of those two options, but it appears to be pretty real to me anyway.

00:29:09.820 Right.

00:29:11.480 And yet, um, I still think the bigger story is the teleprompter thing or, or things similar

00:29:20.420 to that with Joe Biden.

00:29:21.560 He falls off a bicycle.

00:29:22.820 That's the bigger story to me because I continue to believe that the best argument against Joe

00:29:30.520 Biden, the most potent criticism is that he is a senile and competent destroying the country.

00:29:36.980 That's it. 1.00

00:29:39.040 He's senile and incompetent. 1.00

00:29:41.200 That's why I can't even read a prompter. 0.99

00:29:42.960 He can't ride a bicycle without falling off of it.

00:29:45.500 And he's destroying the country. 0.70

00:29:47.280 He's the worst president in American history.

00:29:49.740 He's had the worst first two years, first half a term or whatever, almost half a term

00:29:53.460 that we've ever seen.

00:29:55.140 He's done more damage in, in, in two years than any politician has ever been able to do

00:30:00.820 in, in this country.

00:30:02.880 Not an exaggeration.

00:30:03.920 I don't even think that there's, it might be a little bit of competition for that, for

00:30:07.680 that title, but, but not much.

00:30:09.040 I think he's, he's pretty far ahead of the pack.

00:30:11.500 And that's what matters about him for me. 0.96

00:30:15.140 Um, not so much that his son is a crackhead. 0.86

00:30:18.960 Now that doesn't mean that it's irrelevant.

00:30:20.520 It is relevant.

00:30:21.220 If all of this stuff is legitimate, then there's a lot, I mean, if you've, you've crimes be

00:30:26.940 committed by the president's son, who's by the way, not in jail, that's relevant.

00:30:32.440 It's an issue of law and order of justice.

00:30:35.260 Um, also when you want to look into ties between, you know, the, all the different ways, I mean,

00:30:40.060 that's the son we're talking about, but all the business ties and everything to link them

00:30:42.920 together.

00:30:43.260 Um, so it's not that it's irrelevant.

00:30:47.100 It's just that, especially from a political standpoint, it requires explanation.

00:30:53.780 Like when you, when you go to the average person who doesn't follow this stuff very closely,

00:30:57.580 and especially as we get into 2024 and the election cycle, if he actually runs again,

00:31:03.340 and you're trying to explain to this person, like why they shouldn't vote for Biden.

00:31:07.120 We don't want Biden in office again.

00:31:08.600 Uh, if you lead with Hunter Biden, the average person is going to say, well, that's just, 0.99

00:31:12.700 that's his loser kid. 0.77

00:31:13.740 Like that doesn't, why does that affect anything? 0.97

00:31:17.360 How does that tie to him?

00:31:18.580 How does he have anything to do with that?

00:31:19.700 Well, he does have something to do with it, but then you got to explain it.

00:31:21.940 And it becomes this kind of circuitous path you have to follow.

00:31:24.980 And meanwhile, over here, you've got this really solid, understandable case and things like

00:31:31.500 the teleprompter, they put it in front of everybody's face in a, in a, in a, in a,

00:31:34.740 in a really clear way that this guy is senile and incompetent and he's doing a horrible job 0.94

00:31:40.140 and he's destroying the country. 0.96

00:31:42.260 That's what we should be hammering.

00:31:43.120 I made the same point during the 2020 election cycle when Hunter's laptop came out.

00:31:49.320 Yeah.

00:31:49.780 It's a story.

00:31:50.560 It's relevant, uh, became even bigger story, but in the ways that big tech tried to censor

00:31:55.780 it, um, this kind of conspiracy between big tech and media and, and the Democrats and all

00:32:01.680 that, that was a big story.

00:32:02.560 But as I said at the time, that can't be our closing argument going into the election

00:32:07.360 because it's not the most powerful one.

00:32:09.400 The most powerful one is Joe Biden himself, this guy himself.

00:32:14.820 I still think that the case, that's the case here, which means we talk about it, but I don't

00:32:18.820 want to get, especially as we get into election seasons and we go back to the Hunter Biden thing,

00:32:23.100 it just makes me nervous because I'm like, are we going to distract ourselves from the fact,

00:32:28.880 from just hammering on the fact over and over and over again, the president is senile, has

00:32:33.500 no idea what he's doing and is ruining the country.

00:32:36.920 Even if all of his children are totally squared away, you know, that still would be the case.

00:32:45.360 All right, let's move to this.

00:32:47.140 So a female army soldier has recorded a TikTok video questioning her own loyalty to the United

00:32:53.560 States because of the Roe decision.

00:32:55.700 And this is the kind of thing, this is the woke privilege that you have, that you can

00:32:59.300 record a video like this, active duty military, and put it out on the internet with no fear of

00:33:05.100 anything happening to you.

00:33:06.760 And so here's what she posted.

00:33:07.880 Look at this.

00:33:08.240 I have thoughts.

00:33:11.320 I have thoughts and I have questions.

00:33:13.940 It happened.

00:33:18.680 It happened.

00:33:20.760 I woke up from a nap to this.

00:33:23.840 On deployment.

00:33:25.360 I woke up from a nap to this news.

00:33:28.020 America is waking up to this news.

00:33:29.900 I just extended my contract to continue serving this country a week ago.

00:33:40.860 How am I supposed to swear to support and defend the Constitution and a country that treats

00:33:50.200 its women like second class citizens? 1.00

00:33:55.140 How am I supposed to do that?

00:33:57.180 How am I supposed to do that with pride?

00:34:00.740 How am I supposed to do that with love and honor? 0.84

00:34:04.380 How am I supposed to wake up every day and put on a freaking uniform that says United States 0.99

00:34:09.660 Army when the United States doesn't even give a rat's ass about me? 1.00

00:34:15.220 It gives more of a rat's ass about the guns they're allowed to buy that kill the children 1.00

00:34:21.500 that I'm forced to give birth to. 1.00

00:34:24.120 Think about that.

00:34:27.260 Oh, that's so funny.

00:34:29.300 Think about it. 0.95

00:34:30.280 You know, think about that utter total nonsense.

00:34:32.880 It really gives you something to think about, I guess.

00:34:35.160 This is, of course, now I just looked up for an update and I didn't see one.

00:34:39.160 Because I'm naively, optimistically looking for some news that this woman is being at least 1.00

00:34:48.320 reprimanded.

00:34:49.120 I mean, she should be kicked out of the military. 1.00

00:34:50.460 There's no question about that.

00:34:51.680 You're active duty military and you're publicly declaring that you're not sure about your

00:34:58.960 loyalty to the United States.

00:34:59.820 You are publicly questioning your own loyalty to the United States and questioning whether

00:35:04.560 you can fulfill the oath that you took when you became a member of the military.

00:35:11.520 And she's allowed to continue, of course, because this is what happens.

00:35:16.160 This is the consequence.

00:35:16.960 We don't leave aside the content of everything she said, the claims she made.

00:35:20.680 Obviously, all that is just total nonsense. 0.98

00:35:23.280 Women are second class citizens because they can't kill their children. 1.00

00:35:26.100 No, that actually, as a woman, if you can't kill your children, then that puts you in the 0.99

00:35:32.240 same class as everybody else. 0.98

00:35:34.760 And everybody else only includes one other category, which would be men.

00:35:36.940 Okay, that's the position that we've been in since the dawn of the nation.

00:35:45.520 I mean, that's the position we've always been in, which is that we cannot legally murder our

00:35:51.340 children.

00:35:53.640 And that's the position that everybody should be in.

00:35:55.840 You should not be able to legally murder your children.

00:35:58.100 So that's the law that we've been under even after Roe v. Wade.

00:36:03.080 But if you're a woman, then you had a, you know, about a half century period where you 0.68

00:36:10.160 were put, you were in fact made into, you were put above men in that you were given this

00:36:18.560 legal privilege, if we can even call it that.

00:36:23.220 You know, you became, you alone had authority over the life and death of your child.

00:36:31.160 And in a way that the father of the child could not participate.

00:36:36.440 So removing that privilege, and again, I hesitate to use the word privilege.

00:36:40.640 I don't mean that in the sense of being a good thing, obviously.

00:36:43.440 That entitlement, that whatever you want to call it, that extra power of judge, jury, and

00:36:47.160 execution over your own children, removing that from you doesn't make you a second-class

00:36:50.680 citizen.

00:36:51.240 That actually brings you closer to equality.

00:36:53.840 So what you're experiencing, what this woman in the video, what she's experiencing and how

00:36:58.700 distraught she's feeling and all the distress, that is the feeling of getting closer to actual

00:37:05.360 equality.

00:37:06.780 But for you, the trip to, this is why it's so distressing for you and so difficult, is that

00:37:11.840 for you, the trip to equality means going down, basically.

00:37:15.720 It doesn't mean climbing up.

00:37:17.280 Now, when you climb up and you achieve equality because in the past, your equality had been

00:37:21.480 taken from you, and you were made unequal, you were put below other people, and then

00:37:26.880 you're given equality, now this is a celebratory occasion, right?

00:37:29.980 But in this case, this is a legal power which you never should have had, has been taken away,

00:37:35.980 a privilege has been taken away, and now you're equal with men, in that neither man nor woman 0.99

00:37:41.020 can legally kill a child.

00:37:43.460 In some U.S. states anyway, and in plenty of other states, they still have that privilege. 0.56

00:37:48.300 But leaving aside, I just said I was going to leave aside the content because it's nonsense,

00:37:51.960 but I couldn't help myself.

00:37:53.040 If we could leave that aside for a moment, what she's doing here obviously should be not

00:37:58.500 only getting, it shouldn't mean not only getting kicked out of the military, but being arrested

00:38:01.860 also.

00:38:03.400 Because you are now by your own profession, a traitor to the United States, you know, questioning

00:38:09.860 your own loyalty to the United States.

00:38:11.320 But this is the consequence of bringing people into the military in a way that, that's

00:38:18.300 where we are presenting the military as not a place of uniformity, a place where you work

00:38:28.420 together as a team, a place of discipline and obedience.

00:38:32.940 I mean, that's what the military has always been historically, both in this country and

00:38:35.900 every other country on earth, up until very recent times.

00:38:38.580 But now we sell the military, and I say we, I mean, like the bureaucrats in D.C. sell it

00:38:46.360 through their recruitment campaigns.

00:38:47.720 They sell as an opportunity to express your individualism, an opportunity to, you know,

00:38:53.040 truly be yourself, to truly, you know, fulfill your own personal destiny and all that kind

00:39:00.920 of stuff.

00:39:01.200 So when you, when you highlight individuality in the military, this is what you end up with.

00:39:10.940 People on camera whining about a Supreme Court decision and saying, well, I don't know if

00:39:17.400 I can defend the United States anymore.

00:39:21.360 Which, which by the way, that's, that's not much of a threat to us.

00:39:23.580 Like if you feel like you can't do your job anymore, then please just leave.

00:39:26.660 You should be kicked out.

00:39:27.640 You should be fired.

00:39:28.140 You should be arrested, but you're not going to be.

00:39:30.040 So if you feel like you can't do it, then absolutely just, we're, we're not going to

00:39:34.240 be any worse off without you.

00:39:36.180 That woman in the TikTok video, we're not gonna be any worse off without you.

00:39:39.260 I don't think anyone, if you leave the military, I don't think anyone is going to feel less

00:39:43.760 safe now that you're not in it.

00:39:45.880 So take some solace in that, I guess.

00:39:48.880 One other thing, kind of on the same topic, this is from the New York Post.

00:39:51.360 It says a pregnant Texas woman who was given a traffic ticket for driving solo in an HOV

00:39:58.720 lane and tends to fight the citation, arguing that her fetus should be considered a separate

00:40:03.400 person given the Lone Star State's views of abortion.

00:40:06.900 Mother B.

00:40:07.480 Brandy Batone, 34, told the Dallas Morning News that she was given the ticket on June 29th

00:40:12.340 after being pulled over by police while driving on a highway near the city.

00:40:15.960 She told the newspaper, quote, I was driving to pick up my son.

00:40:18.940 I knew I couldn't be a minute late, so I took the HOV lane.

00:40:22.040 As I exited the HOV lane, there was a checkpoint at the end of the exit.

00:40:25.080 I slammed on my brakes and I was pulled over by police.

00:40:28.100 The cop asked if she had a passenger with her and she responded that, in fact, she did.

00:40:32.280 I pointed to my stomach and said, my baby girl is right here.

00:40:35.280 This, she is a person.

00:40:37.560 He said, oh no, it's going to be two people outside of the body.

00:40:40.860 That's what it has to be.

00:40:41.700 And so now she's fighting it in court saying that, well, it's pretty clear from the context

00:40:46.720 here that she's pro-abortion.

00:40:48.300 And so this was her way.

00:40:49.240 This was a kind of gotcha moment here against the pro-lifers saying, hey, you see what happens?

00:40:55.620 You see?

00:40:56.480 You get rid of abortion and now all of a sudden there's confusion in the HOV lane.

00:41:01.280 And I guess she expects that we as pro-lifers will say, well, never mind then.

00:41:06.020 Well, I thought that it would be good to stop killing babies.

00:41:08.480 But if you're telling me that getting rid of abortion means that there's slight confusion

00:41:14.520 in the HOV lane, well, then never mind. 1.00

00:41:15.620 Let's just kill the babies again. 1.00

00:41:16.920 That's a price that we simply can't pay. 1.00

00:41:20.500 Now, there is an easy way around this if you want to preserve the integrity of the HOV lane

00:41:24.320 and also not kill babies.

00:41:26.880 Like if you want to do both of those things, the way around it is to say that you have to

00:41:31.000 have passengers in a passenger seat.

00:41:33.440 That's what we mean by HOV.

00:41:34.580 So that's the way around it.

00:41:36.520 Just a really simple clarification I think we get is around this.

00:41:40.080 Or here's what I would prefer. 0.99

00:41:43.040 Just get rid of the stupid HOV lane to begin with. 0.99

00:41:47.020 Okay, so which is not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned. 0.99

00:41:51.900 So this is another example of Democrats proposing something very attractive

00:41:58.240 as a way to punish us for banning abortion.

00:42:01.760 And in this case, the implication is that we'd have to abolish the carpool lane

00:42:07.100 if we don't have abortion anymore, which, great, let's do that. 0.99

00:42:12.720 Because the left lane is supposed to be for people driving fast.

00:42:15.540 Who cares how many people are in the car with you?

00:42:18.040 If you want to be in the leftmost lane, then you should just be driving fast.

00:42:23.320 You should be driving a lot faster than the cars in the other lane.

00:42:25.880 That's the only qualification that there should be on the left lane.

00:42:29.800 And that should be rigidly enforced as far as I'm concerned.

00:42:33.020 I mean, people who go like five miles under the limit in the fast lane,

00:42:38.640 forget about fining.

00:42:40.300 We should be pulling them over and putting them in jail for 30 days

00:42:43.540 to let them think about it.

00:42:45.840 And that's fine with me.

00:42:47.360 So let's just do that.

00:42:48.480 But this is what the Democrats have been doing,

00:42:53.460 is proposing things that, like, claiming that there are implications

00:42:59.520 to getting rid of abortion, and those implications are actually great.

00:43:03.160 Here's another one.

00:43:04.280 This is Jack Cochiarella, I guess.

00:43:08.900 He's a Democrat strategist.

00:43:10.120 He tweeted this yesterday or a couple days ago.

00:43:12.340 He said,

00:43:12.560 Sounds great.

00:43:23.300 Let's do that, too.

00:43:24.420 It's fantastic.

00:43:25.600 Get rid of the HOV lane.

00:43:26.760 Only have a fast lane.

00:43:27.880 You drive fast in the left lane.

00:43:29.760 Fantastic.

00:43:31.780 You can claim your unborn child as a dependent on your taxes.

00:43:35.600 That means a tax break.

00:43:37.420 So that's great, too.

00:43:39.120 What does he imagine?

00:43:39.980 This is a Democrat strategist who has no idea.

00:43:42.840 He's supposed to be a strategist for the Democrats,

00:43:45.060 which should mean that he's an expert on Republicans and conservatives,

00:43:49.240 his opponents.

00:43:49.840 He should know us like the back of his own hand.

00:43:52.620 He has no understanding of us whatsoever.

00:43:55.300 He thinks that he can threaten us with a tax break?

00:43:59.540 This is just like the ones that, you know, the people that are saying,

00:44:02.120 well, if we don't have abortion, 0.98

00:44:03.020 then that means that we're going to have to have abstinence before marriage.

00:44:07.740 Right?

00:44:08.060 It's the end of hookup culture.

00:44:09.460 Great.

00:44:10.120 Awesome.

00:44:10.980 Well, if we don't have abortion, 0.98

00:44:12.300 well, that means that we have to require men.

00:44:16.180 Great.

00:44:17.600 I thought I turned that on.

00:44:19.300 Well, if we don't have abortion, 0.98

00:44:20.420 that means we have to require men to care for their babies. 1.00

00:44:24.600 Right?

00:44:25.040 From conception.

00:44:27.360 You wouldn't want that, would you?

00:44:28.700 No, I do want that.

00:44:30.040 All this is great.

00:44:31.360 Abstinence before marriage.

00:44:32.520 Get rid of the carpool lane.

00:44:33.640 Tax breaks.

00:44:34.540 Men taking care of their kids. 0.99

00:44:35.740 These are, according to the opponents of pro-lifers, according to pro-aborts themselves,

00:44:43.460 these are the consequences of getting rid of abortion.

00:44:45.920 So it's just, it's win upon win upon win.

00:44:49.140 I see nothing but upside.

00:44:50.900 And when I think that we've seen all the upside we could possibly see, they give us some more upside.

00:44:56.240 And the great thing is that I didn't need any upside other than we're not killing babies anymore.

00:45:01.600 That would have been good enough for me.

00:45:02.840 I didn't need any of this other, this extra stuff.

00:45:05.200 But this is just, you know, whipped cream, cherry, sprinkles on top.

00:45:09.020 This is everything.

00:45:09.820 We've got the whole ice cream sundae now.

00:45:13.200 All right.

00:45:13.700 One other quick thing I want to mention before we get to the comment section.

00:45:16.080 It says, this is from the Daily Mail.

00:45:17.540 So the Church of England has admitted that it does not have a definition of the word woman.

00:45:22.300 A bishop said yesterday that the meaning of the word used to be self-evident,

00:45:25.300 but he added that there are now complexities associated with gender identity,

00:45:28.640 which a church project about sexuality and relationships is exploring.

00:45:32.360 So this is their official statement.

00:45:34.020 They're exploring what a woman is, but right now there's no official definition.

00:45:38.640 The thing that makes this so fantastic is that for years and years,

00:45:42.200 the Church of England has bragged about the fact that they have woman priests and woman bishops.

00:45:48.400 They had their first woman priest back in the 1990s.

00:45:52.060 And they were one of the earliest churches to, you know, institute this policy of having woman priests.

00:45:57.520 And then they had women bishops and everything.

00:45:59.240 And they've been bragging about that for years up until 30 seconds ago.

00:46:04.240 And now they're saying, well, on second thought, I don't actually know what a woman is.

00:46:08.300 Forget all of that.

00:46:10.420 The first, I looked this up, the first woman priest, Angela Berners Wilson, in 1994,

00:46:15.920 was the first woman ordained as a priest in the Church of England.

00:46:18.300 And she's been very excited about that for the last, you know, for the last few decades.

00:46:23.640 And she's been talking.

00:46:24.640 That's now been taken.

00:46:25.740 This has been taken away from Angela Berners Wilson, from Father Angela Berners Wilson.

00:46:30.760 This is taken away because we don't even know what a woman is. 1.00

00:46:34.560 So how can we talk about, how can we celebrate having woman priests and woman bishops?

00:46:42.740 The left continues to eat itself.

00:46:44.880 And it's just a glorious sight to behold.

00:46:46.440 So now let's get to our comment section.

00:46:56.280 Well, we didn't have a show last week.

00:47:02.720 So we don't have show comments for the comment section.

00:47:05.580 Instead, I thought that I'll read some comments under a video we posted while we were away.

00:47:11.520 We posted a bunch of new content, even though we weren't here,

00:47:13.980 which you can go to my YouTube channel if you haven't and check some of that out.

00:47:18.480 And I think the most important video that we put out, I ranked the five worst superheroes.

00:47:24.760 And because I'm, of course, an expert on the subject, it turns out that the worst superheroes are all the female ones. 1.00

00:47:33.680 I didn't decide that.

00:47:35.220 Okay, this is not my, well, it was my list.

00:47:37.220 But I was just looking at the facts is all.

00:47:40.300 And as it turned out, it just, it just kind of, it shook out in a way where it turned out that all the worst superheroes were women. 0.89

00:47:51.240 And so there were a lot of interesting comments to that video.

00:47:54.100 I thought I'd read a few of them.

00:47:55.980 This one's from Lulu.

00:47:58.320 Says, Matt, Matt, Matt, were you given any context for these characters?

00:48:03.440 Black Widow isn't just a skinny little female. 1.00

00:48:06.320 She's one of the most talented assassins in the MCU's world. 0.97

00:48:10.100 As a child, she was indoctrinated into the Red Room.

00:48:13.220 After she graduated from the Red Room, she spent many years working for the KGB before defecting to work as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

00:48:21.220 She mastered not only martial arts, but also marksmanship, interrogation, and so much more.

00:48:26.560 The reason she's so skilled is because she has no superpowers. 0.54

00:48:30.520 Wait, what?

00:48:31.580 She had to work hard to become strong.

00:48:33.900 But she isn't just some overpowered, omnipotent character. 1.00

00:48:36.560 She has her strength.

00:48:37.240 This goes on and on and on forever.

00:48:39.400 This person's like a biographer of Black Widow from Marvel Universe.

00:48:46.440 And then he continues.

00:48:49.040 I think this is allegedly a Lulu.

00:48:51.500 So, you know, these days, who knows what person would be attached to that name?

00:48:55.860 He said that, let's see, having got intel she needed, she dropped the Helpless Act and took down the general and his men who had all let down their guard.

00:49:03.660 Still think she's a skinny little female, Matt? 1.00

00:49:06.040 Yeah, I do.

00:49:06.740 Okay, because, look, as I said in that video, again, really important issue, is that she, not only do we have the absurdity of a female action hero who's just like beating up a bunch of men all at once. 0.99

00:49:22.840 Well, not even all at once, because you notice the bad guys, this happens in a lot of action films, but especially the ones where there's a female protagonist.

00:49:29.220 The bad guys, even though they're bad guys, they are at least polite and they have a good sense of sportsmanship.

00:49:35.500 So they only attack one at a time.

00:49:37.800 So there's a whole group of bad guys and they just take turns attacking the woman.

00:49:42.380 And then she, you know, knocks them each out with one punch to the head. 1.00

00:49:46.280 That's ridiculous enough as it is in any action film. 0.73

00:49:49.280 But then when you consider that she's a member of this superhero team and everybody else, they have literal godlike powers. 0.96

00:49:59.780 And yet they have use for this 90 pound, five foot two blonde woman because she can throw a punch better than your average blonde woman. 1.00

00:50:11.060 It doesn't make any sense.

00:50:12.500 I'm sorry.

00:50:12.800 Professor Logo says, I like Matt a lot, but I feel like he's missing the part of the brain that allows people to have fun.

00:50:19.000 He's like this in response to anything that is just plain fun.

00:50:23.000 No, I think there are a lot of things that are fun.

00:50:25.120 I like fishing, for example.

00:50:26.780 I could list other things that I think are fun.

00:50:30.220 I'll get back to you on that in a moment.

00:50:32.300 But my issue here is that this actually is not fun.

00:50:38.020 You should not have fun watching superhero movies.

00:50:40.380 They're cynical.

00:50:40.980 They're cynical in the way.

00:50:43.320 Here's how they're cynical.

00:50:45.300 In the way that they treat the audience.

00:50:47.740 The way that they treat you.

00:50:49.780 They just give you the same slop over and over and over again, making no attempt to tell an interesting or different story.

00:50:58.380 Making no attempt at all.

00:51:00.460 Just feeding you the same thing over and over again.

00:51:04.420 Because they assume that you'll just come and watch it.

00:51:07.160 Because you have no respect for yourself.

00:51:08.660 And the really sad thing is that oftentimes their assumptions aren't correct.

00:51:14.340 Let's see.

00:51:15.120 Dibs Dibs says, not a fan of hers, Wonder Woman. 0.99

00:51:19.700 But it's Themysciran armor.

00:51:22.380 She has a healing factor and super speed. 0.93

00:51:25.320 Justice League was better with the bullet deflecting because Zack Snyder actually made her move that fast.

00:51:29.840 Mavericks doesn't like what I said about the Hulk.

00:51:34.120 He says, the Hulk is so much more than that.

00:51:35.880 His powers are a reflection and consequence of him being abused by his father.

00:51:40.220 That anger and depression is what triggers him to transform into the Hulk with gamma rays.

00:51:45.800 And that's very adult and interesting.

00:51:47.700 The man gets big and green and strong because he's mad at his father.

00:51:57.320 That's very adult and interesting.

00:52:00.620 Sorry, but no seven-year-old can make that up so easily.

00:52:03.660 That's exactly what a seven-year-old would make up.

00:52:06.880 That's my point about the Hulk.

00:52:08.480 And, yeah, he is one of the better superheroes, but that's not saying much.

00:52:12.180 You know, it's a low bar.

00:52:13.560 But he's also the kind of superhero that every seven-year-old boy just invents independently.

00:52:19.040 And then they discover that this already exists out there, at least in the fantasy world.

00:52:22.820 It's just a guy that gets big and green and strong.

00:52:24.860 That's all it is.

00:52:26.880 And so your suggestion, you are trying to rebut that claim by me by pointing out that he only gets like that because he's angry at his parents.

00:52:38.480 I think he just proved my point.

00:52:39.940 I don't know.

00:52:40.480 But thank you anyway to all the nerds who responded to that video.

00:52:45.220 And I'll take your comments into consideration before I just dismiss them out of hand.

00:52:50.620 You know, with the price of literally everything skyrocketing, there's never been a better time to get your finances in order.

00:52:55.680 Yesterday, Ben released a brand new episode of Sunday Special that just might help you do that.

00:54:04.920 That's DailyWirePlus.com today.

00:54:07.740 Let's get to our daily cancellation.

00:54:08.800 What is a Woman? 1.00

00:54:39.440 Although, as we'll see, he spends most of the time reviewing a version of the film that I didn't make,

00:54:45.400 but which he wishes I had made.

00:54:47.560 So, it begins with this claim.

00:54:49.500 He writes, quote,

00:54:50.560 Over time, words change.

00:54:52.900 Stretched by the practicalities of real-world usage, or our language evolves and warps.

00:54:58.520 It's an organic, unavoidable, and even auspicious process.

00:55:02.360 Now, we can already see the difficulty here.

00:55:06.000 Harris conflates warp and evolve as though the two are synonyms, but they're not.

00:55:14.180 And what could be more revealing than somebody on the left thinking that warp and evolve are the same idea?

00:55:21.860 They're not at all.

00:55:22.740 What has happened to the word woman in modern times, and so many other words besides that one, is an example of language being warped, but it's not an example of language evolving.

00:55:34.260 Okay?

00:55:34.480 Language evolves gradually, organically, in order to make meaning more clear in common usage.

00:55:39.960 But what's happened with the word woman has not been gradual, it has not been organic, and it certainly has not made the meaning of the word more clear.

00:55:48.140 This is a top-down decree from people with institutional power, simply declaring all at once that the word no longer means what humans for millennia thought it meant.

00:55:58.860 Not only that, but anyone who insists on the old meaning is subject to various penalties.

00:56:04.340 Okay, that's not language evolution.

00:56:08.620 That's always a good hint, by the way.

00:56:10.080 When language has changed, and there are penalties put in place for people who don't keep up with the change, that's a pretty good indication that it's not actually evolution of language.

00:56:23.280 Because evolution of language, natural evolution of language, doesn't have its own law enforcement arm that goes with it.

00:56:29.140 Okay?

00:56:30.720 This is what it looks like when language is forcibly warped.

00:56:34.460 It's not what it looks like when language evolves.

00:56:37.840 Harris can't tell the difference between the two, and that's his first problem, though it's certainly not his only one.

00:56:42.800 Now, he continues, 1.00

00:56:43.620 There are boys and girls, men and women, males and females, penises and vaginas. 1.00

00:57:12.620 Mountains of evidence, he says. 0.99

00:57:16.280 Now, it should already go without saying that Harris never provides any of this evidence.

00:57:21.280 There's a whole mountain of it out there, supposedly, and yet he doesn't extract even one pebble from this mountain and present it to us.

00:57:28.640 There's no link, there's no citation, there are no examples.

00:57:32.080 The mountain is invisible, it would seem.

00:57:34.360 But it's there, okay?

00:57:35.440 And it's really, really big, you guys.

00:57:37.340 But we just have to take his word for it, is all.

00:57:39.180 Next, hilariously, you know, you heard me there, you heard him there.

00:57:43.320 He chides me for leaning hard on common sense, as if that's a bad thing.

00:57:49.420 We already know that using common sense is the ultimate sin, the great heresy on the left.

00:57:53.420 You're not supposed to rely on common sense.

00:57:55.420 That is, you're not supposed to rely on the fundamental understanding of reality shared by nearly everyone who's ever lived.

00:58:01.220 That's what common sense is.

00:58:02.360 Instead, you're supposed to rely on the uncommon and insensible sense of guys like Malcolm Harris.

00:58:08.640 And yet, merely a sentence after accusing me of using common sense, accusing me of it, Harris switches gears and declares that the film and all of my ideas about gender are rooted in religious precepts.

00:58:21.460 He writes, quote,

00:58:51.460 Okay, it's clear from what we might charitably call his writings that Walsh is a Christian fundamentalist who is personally and professionally dedicated to making sure God's law is law.

00:59:14.340 And yet, in his biggest, most prominent piece of content yet, Walsh never talks about his God at all, a curious omission in a movie about reality and identity.

00:59:23.320 Now, he goes on from here, continuing to quote a book I wrote five years ago, calling me a religious fundamentalist.

00:59:29.700 He mocks ideas like transubstantiation.

00:59:33.220 He calls fans of my movie my co-religionists.

00:59:36.260 Now, I hate to say I told you so to those conservatives who criticized my film for not having an explicitly biblical message, but I told you so.

00:59:46.180 It is strikingly clear from this New York Times, this New York Magazine article, that the opponents of the film really wish that I had framed it in religious terms.

00:59:55.240 They want our arguments on this topic to be entirely faith-based and biblical.

01:00:01.300 They desperately need us to be seen as making a religious case because they are making a religious case.

01:00:09.680 They want the war over biology to be a holy war, our religion against theirs.

01:00:16.360 Then we can't criticize them for being doctrinal and dogmatic because we're being the same way.

01:00:21.520 We would all be in the same boat, or maybe if not in the same boat, we would be in different boats floating on the same sea.

01:00:28.120 But there's no reason for us to play the game on those terms.

01:00:32.140 I am a devoutly religious person.

01:00:34.000 I, of course, stand by everything I said in my book that he quoted there.

01:00:37.980 All of that is 100% true, and I'm proud that I wrote it, and I'm glad that he quoted it.

01:00:42.420 But that has absolutely nothing at all to do with my conviction that women have babies and men don't. 0.99

01:00:51.400 Okay?

01:00:51.800 I didn't learn that from my religion.

01:00:54.220 And even if I didn't believe in my religion, I would still recognize this truth just as I would know that 2 plus 2 equals 4,

01:01:00.520 no matter if I was a Christian or a Hindu or a Buddhist or an atheist.

01:01:04.960 They are the religionists on this issue.

01:01:08.200 The writer of this article so badly needs to argue the matter on religious terms

01:01:12.200 that he's simply inventing a religious angle that doesn't exist in the film and arguing against that instead.

01:01:18.620 So he's basically saying, well, you didn't make your argument religious, but I know that it's really religious,

01:01:23.820 so I'm going to argue against it as if it is.

01:01:27.100 Later, he writes, quote,

01:01:28.600 What is a woman throws trans women's existence into question? 1.00

01:01:31.940 The form of inquiry can be divorced from its content, and to ask if trans women are really women

01:01:37.140 is not just asking questions, especially if a bigot deity has already told you the answer,

01:01:42.120 and especially if you're spending a pile of cash on advertising.

01:01:44.720 So there he is again, bringing God into a review of a film that, as he admits, or rather laments,

01:01:51.300 never mentions God at all.

01:01:53.220 He also says that the movie throws trans women's existence into question.

01:01:57.920 Though, of course, I don't at all question the existence of people who identify themselves as trans women.

01:02:05.460 Those individual human beings do certainly exist.

01:02:09.780 If they didn't, there'd be no need for the movie.

01:02:12.860 What I question are the claims those people make about themselves.

01:02:17.800 So the people exist, absolutely, but they make claims about the world and about themselves, 0.98

01:02:26.700 and some of those claims are incorrect.

01:02:29.300 That is my contention.

01:02:31.000 Just as I don't deny the existence of anorexics,

01:02:34.260 though I do deny the reality and factual validity of their self-perception,

01:02:39.260 specifically the perception of themselves as obese.

01:02:41.480 I deny that.

01:02:43.080 More from the article says,

01:02:44.160 If you press play on what is a woman, which I advise not doing, 0.92

01:02:47.880 with the accurate factual knowledge that some women are trans,

01:02:50.940 I have a hard time imagining anything Walsh has to offer will confuse you.

01:02:54.580 Anyone with some background on the topic knows that the anti-trans interviewees,

01:02:58.420 which include a hateful doctor, a regretful phalloplasty recipient,

01:03:02.360 and a sore loser cis student athlete, are not representative figures.

01:03:07.680 So we have another gear shift here, as he goes from

01:03:10.300 admitting that the film is devastatingly effective.

01:03:13.540 I mean, he says so right in the headline,

01:03:15.360 to shrugging it off as sort of weak and irrelevant.

01:03:18.240 He also demonstrates how the trans agenda gives men license to say things about women

01:03:23.520 that they would never get away with saying otherwise.

01:03:26.540 So here he just scornfully writes off a young woman who simply wants a fair playing field, 0.98

01:03:31.260 calling her a sore loser. 0.75

01:03:33.620 That men can only talk about women and to women in that way, 0.98

01:03:39.760 in the context of the trans debate.

01:03:41.220 That's the only time that's ever allowed.

01:03:42.500 Then, after accusing me of deliberately inciting violence, he wraps things up this way.

01:03:49.060 He says, quote,

01:03:50.320 If that's the anti-trans playbook, then Walsh is a player coach leading by example.

01:03:55.580 With what is a woman, they've spent millions to take the strategy to a new level. 1.00

01:03:59.240 The plan is working.

01:04:00.700 This year's Pride Month looks to have a casualty count.

01:04:03.540 If Walsh and his ilk are successful, next year's will be higher.

01:04:07.360 They're begging for it.

01:04:08.440 Now, bucking the trend throughout most of the article, he does attempt to provide some evidence

01:04:12.740 for the Pride Month casualty count claim.

01:04:15.240 So he links to an article in the Baltimore Sun from a few weeks ago about a row home fire in the city,

01:04:21.820 which occurred across the street from where somebody allegedly burned a pride flag.

01:04:27.740 And a few people were injured in the house fire.

01:04:30.980 Now, there's no known connection between the alleged flag burning and the house fire.

01:04:35.440 So again, it was across the street, they found allegedly a pride flag that had apparently been burned.

01:04:41.380 And then on the other side of the street, there was a house fire.

01:04:45.320 One did not cause or lead to the other as far as anybody knows.

01:04:49.160 No cause has been determined of either fire.

01:04:52.560 Nobody knows if the house fire was deliberate.

01:04:54.820 And if it was, we don't know why it was started.

01:04:57.460 So we know none of that whatsoever.

01:04:59.460 So there are about four or five leaps you'd have to make to connect the house fire to anti-LGBT sentiment.

01:05:06.340 And then there's another one or two leaps to continue the connection all the way to my film.

01:05:10.780 Yet this is the best Harris can do.

01:05:12.600 It's not his fault.

01:05:14.320 It's very difficult to find real examples of actual anti-LGBT violence because it hardly ever happens.

01:05:20.900 That doesn't stop him from suggesting that there's an epidemic of a type of violence

01:05:24.900 for which he could not find even one confirmed example.

01:05:27.740 That, of course, is the common theme with Harris and his ilk.

01:05:31.860 The facts don't stop them.

01:05:33.960 They simply shout their bald assertions and then cover their ears in case anyone shouts back.

01:05:39.620 That's why Harris, by the way, locked down his Twitter account and went to private as soon as his article was published.

01:05:44.020 That's how you know someone's really confident in what they wrote, right?

01:05:46.100 They publish it and they lock everything down and go hide.

01:05:50.160 And so hiding under his bed, you know, he may not be able to hear me say it,

01:05:54.260 but I must say it all the same to Malcolm Harris of the New York Magazine.

01:05:58.760 You are today canceled.
