00:00:00.000 A year ago, I began filming my new movie, Am I Racist?
00:00:03.240 The goal of the movie was to go deep undercover into the world of DEI
00:00:06.420 and show how bad the problem really is.
00:00:08.760 There'll be some moments in the movie that just seem too crazy to be real,
00:00:11.620 but I assure you it's real, and it's been a real problem for quite a while, in fact.
00:00:16.480 To prove to you how big of an issue DEI is,
00:00:18.620 I wanted to take you on a trip down memory lane
00:00:21.240 of some recent real-world examples of anti-white racism.
00:00:24.660 But before we do that, check out the trailer for Am I Racist?
00:00:27.540 Tickets are on sale right now, so visit amiracist.com for more details.
00:00:32.220 Now enjoy the trailer.
00:00:33.740 Republicans or Nazis, you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:00:38.680 Growing up, I never thought much about race.
00:00:40.600 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.
00:00:43.260 Am I racist?
00:00:44.440 I would really appreciate it if you left.
00:00:45.720 I'm trying to learn. I'm on this journey.
00:00:47.720 I'm going to sort this out. I need to go deeper undercover.
00:00:52.020 Don't say I'm racist.
00:00:53.500 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:00:56.740 Here's my certifications.
00:00:58.080 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:01:00.820 This is more for you than this for you.
00:01:01.800 Is America inherently racist?
00:01:03.340 The word inherent is challenging there.
00:01:05.320 I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.
00:01:08.460 America is racist to its bones.
00:01:10.340 So inherently.
00:01:11.200 Yeah, this country is a piece of...
00:01:12.900 White folks.
00:01:15.340 Trash.
00:01:15.860 White supremacy.
00:01:16.640 White woman.
00:01:17.220 White boy.
00:01:17.740 Is there a black person around here?
00:01:19.020 What's a black person right here? Does he not exist?
00:01:21.140 They don't say I'm racist.
00:01:22.940 Hi, Robin.
00:01:23.700 Hi.
00:01:24.060 What's your name?
00:01:25.000 I'm Matt.
00:01:25.420 I always had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.
00:01:28.100 Never be too careful.
00:01:28.980 They're going to say you're racist.
00:01:29.940 Buy your tickets now.
00:01:31.040 In theaters September 13th.
00:01:32.320 Rated PG-13.
00:01:33.800 All right.
00:01:34.400 Number four.
00:01:34.980 This is from the Daily Wire.
00:01:36.120 The Montgomery County Public School District in Maryland spent more than $450,000 on an anti-racist
00:01:41.720 audit for the 2020 through 2021 school year, which resulted in the district tentatively adopting
00:01:47.240 policies that push anti-racist thinking in preschool.
00:01:51.740 So we're talking about like three and four-year-olds, okay?
00:01:54.500 According to a copy of the school district's tentative action policy obtained by the Daily
00:01:57.640 Wire, the district will now provide a culturally responsive pre-kindergarten to grade 12 curriculum
00:02:02.200 that promotes equity, respect, anti-racist thinking, and civility.
00:02:07.260 I'm wondering, when do we get to the how to riot part of the lesson?
00:02:10.980 Is that in the civility?
00:02:12.040 How to riot civilly?
00:02:13.980 The curriculum will also teach students that the impact of racism on mental health has been
00:02:18.740 deemed a public health crisis.
00:02:20.300 The school district, which is one of the largest in the nation, announced in November that it
00:02:24.000 would partner with the Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium for $454,000 to conduct an anti-racist
00:02:29.740 audit.
00:02:30.420 The audit was designed to examine the district's systems, practices, and policies that do not
00:02:34.140 create access opportunities and equitable outcomes for every student's academic and
00:02:38.840 social-emotional well-being, starting in pre-k.
00:02:42.100 Now, you know what I'm going to say, because what I always say when we read a story like
00:02:44.740 this, which is the first thing is get your kids out of the public school system.
00:02:47.520 But I would add an addendum to that.
00:02:50.900 At least, at least get them out of the public school system at these very early ages.
00:02:57.420 Please, dear God, do not send your four-year-old to a public school system.
00:03:03.260 You homeschool them early on, send them to high school or something.
00:03:08.960 Maybe, you know, maybe that's a feasible plan.
00:03:12.560 Because at that point, if your kid's 13 or 14, they've been raised, you've raised them
00:03:16.780 correctly.
00:03:17.640 Maybe at that point, they'll have the fortitude and the formation to withstand the brainwashing
00:03:24.120 that will still happen.
00:03:25.140 But the point is, at four years old, forget about it.
00:03:29.120 Four years old, there's just no chance.
00:03:31.500 A four-year-old is going to believe whatever they are told.
00:03:35.660 It doesn't matter what it is.
00:03:37.240 Anything you tell them.
00:03:38.040 You tell them that you rode to work this morning on a unicorn, they'll totally believe it.
00:03:42.760 That won't even occur to them as an odd thing to say.
00:03:46.600 Because talk about reality, they have no concept of reality.
00:03:48.800 So when you send, much more than this is the case with the older kids, with younger kids,
00:03:56.240 when you send your younger kid to school, that is an act of profound trust.
00:04:04.900 You are putting so much trust in the people that will be in charge of your child at that
00:04:11.220 school, because the influence and power they're going to have over your child, it's difficult
00:04:19.320 to articulate the immensity of it.
00:04:23.300 And if they decide that they want to brainwash your kid at the age of four into this anti-racist
00:04:30.580 nonsense, into critical race theory, that's it.
00:04:34.040 Your child's going to be brainwashed.
00:04:35.480 There's almost nothing you can do about it.
00:04:37.020 If they're being exposed to that for hours a day at that age.
00:04:43.020 So please think twice about that.
00:04:45.740 I beg of you.

00:05:47.580 Ibram Kendi has a new book out and the new book is called How to Raise an Anti-Racist.
00:05:54.420 So he's going back to the same.
00:05:55.680 Well, he already has Anti-Racist Baby.
00:05:57.900 He wrote that one, I believe.
00:05:58.820 And now he's got How to Raise an Anti-Racist and all of these books, you find them all
00:06:02.840 over Barnes and Noble and all these media interviews and everything.
00:06:06.960 Nobody actually reads or buys these books.
00:06:08.840 But he was on MSNBC talking about the book and he said a few things that I actually think
00:06:12.560 are worth responding to.
00:06:14.540 Let's listen.
00:06:15.140 So tell everybody why you wrote the book.
00:06:17.440 Well, I wrote the book because the more that I that I researched this issue about race
00:06:27.680 and children, the more that I continued on as a father, the more I realized that kids
00:06:33.960 are actually the most vulnerable to racism, but they're the ones who were least likely to
00:06:41.160 engage about it.
00:06:41.960 And so I wanted to write a book that would allow parents and teachers and caregivers to
00:06:46.760 figure out ways to protect our children from these simplistic messages like dark is ugly
00:06:51.880 and light, you know, is good so they can grow up to be whole people who recognize racial equality.
00:07:00.000 And your message is that parents should understand that children are already forming opinions at
00:07:05.960 a very early age, some research says as early as three or four years old.
00:07:11.760 They do.
00:07:12.660 And that's the unfortunate truth.
00:07:14.700 But according to scholars, by three years old, our kids have an adult like concept of race.
00:07:21.960 By three years old, our kids are attaching qualities like smartness and honesty and cleanliness to
00:07:30.080 skin color.
00:07:30.960 And all the while, parents are thinking and teachers that our kids aren't thinking about
00:07:36.540 skin color or even seeing it.
00:07:38.360 And so we're not stepping in to counteract those messages and we need to.
00:07:42.760 OK, he says we've got to counteract the message that kids are getting.
00:07:47.000 The dark skin is ugly and light skin is good.
00:07:50.780 Where are those messages exactly?
00:07:52.460 Where are they hearing those messages?
00:07:53.620 I mean, who is saying that?
00:07:54.860 Who exactly is saying that?
00:07:55.760 Give me give me one example.
00:07:56.560 Give me like one modern example of that message being promoted anywhere, at least of all to
00:08:05.320 kids.
00:08:05.700 Where exactly are they getting it?
00:08:07.200 I mean, they're certainly not getting it in media, in Hollywood.
00:08:10.100 They're getting like almost the opposite, actually, of that message.
00:08:13.620 They're not getting it in school.
00:08:15.040 So where are they getting it?
00:08:15.800 What are you talking about?
00:08:16.500 Yeah, so I bravely am speaking out against the message that dark skin is ugly.
00:08:23.220 Well, it's always really brave to speak out against an idea that nobody is proposing in
00:08:28.920 the first place.
00:08:30.000 But more to the point, he says that kids are the most vulnerable to racism.
00:08:34.520 And that, again, is the opposite of the truth.
00:08:38.960 That's just not true at all.
00:08:40.760 In fact, kids, it doesn't actually occur to kids to be racist.
00:08:46.880 And how do I know that?
00:08:48.220 Well, I know that because I've been around kids.
00:08:50.840 I have kids, like I'm familiar with the concept of childhood.
00:08:55.520 I was a kid at some point.
00:08:57.140 So there's a lot of just sort of experience, including lived experience, that tells us this.
00:09:04.600 I also know because I grew up in the 90s when there was not this obsession over race.
00:09:10.500 It wasn't a racial utopia, but there was not the same obsession.
00:09:14.440 And I've mentioned before, I can remember going to grade school in a very racially diverse area.
00:09:24.520 And all people, lots of black classmates, Asian, so on and so forth.
00:09:30.040 And yes, as a kid, you notice the physical differences, of course.
00:09:35.060 You notice it, but you don't attach a lot of significance to it.
00:09:38.140 You might have some dumb, like childlike sort of innocent questions about how exactly does it happen that people look different or end up with different color skin and all that kind of stuff.
00:09:49.200 In fact, those aren't really dumb questions at all, actually.
00:09:51.320 So you might have questions like that.
00:09:52.620 And kids might be prone to saying things that are kind of awkward because they don't know any better.
00:10:00.320 But they don't attach, kids actually do not attach significance to these things.
00:10:05.440 They just basically see people as people.
00:10:08.060 And just take your kid to a playground anywhere and just see how they're playing with kids.
00:10:14.720 They don't stop.
00:10:15.780 You're not going to see kids on a playground stop another kid and say, oh, no, you have a different skin color.
00:10:20.860 You're not going to play with us.
00:10:21.480 It just doesn't happen.
00:10:22.620 So if you were to just leave kids alone, most kids are already living in a very diverse environment.
00:10:32.940 So if you were to just let them be kids, leave them alone, kind of leave them to their own devices on this particular issue, it's not going to be an issue.
00:10:43.300 No, it's people like Ibram X.
00:10:46.100 Kendi who have to come around and tell the kids that there's a significance here.
00:10:53.580 No, so it's actually the opposite message.
00:10:58.540 He and all the so-called anti-racist people, they're the ones telling kids that, oh, no, you know what?
00:11:04.700 You guys all look different.
00:11:06.280 And the fact that you look different is very significant.
00:11:09.380 And here are all the reasons why it's significant.
00:11:11.360 And not only that, but the other thing they say to the kids is, well, you see these kids over here, these are the white kids.
00:11:18.420 And their ancestors are all racist and they're oppressive.
00:11:21.400 And you over here, you're the black kids and you're being systemically oppressed.
00:11:26.960 In fact, you're being oppressed by these kids over here and you might not even know it.
00:11:30.660 And they don't know that they're oppressing you, but they are.
00:11:33.380 And here are all the privileges that these kids, these white kids are getting that you're not getting.
00:11:37.500 And it may seem like you get the same privileges and you're living basically the same kind of life, but you're not.
00:11:41.540 No, they get all these privileges and you don't get them.
00:11:43.560 So people like Ibram Kendi, they're the ones doing that.
00:11:46.340 Under the guise of anti-racism, of curing kids of racism that they don't even actually have in the first place, they are creating it.
00:11:53.180 They're creating racial divisions.
00:11:54.460 And, of course, they're doing it entirely on purpose.
