Jesus would have been the grand marshal at the Pride Parade. Gay people are here. They are not going anywhere. Gay folks are in a place that accepts them for who they were, and someone came to that place to defend them.

00:00:00.000 All speech is not free speech. Some speech is not okay free speech.
00:00:07.100 Jesus would be the grand marshal at the pride parade.
00:00:09.700 Gay people are here. They're not going anywhere.
00:00:12.380 Speaking of desperate, on The View yesterday, I just want to play this for you.
00:00:15.200 It's not exactly a lead headline, but we were talking about all this yesterday.
00:00:18.820 And Jesus, you know, it's one thing to defame libs of TikTok or me or Chris Ruffo or Donald Trump or, you know, one of the usual suspects.
00:00:32.460 That's one thing.
00:00:34.160 Of course, infinitely more outrageous and offensive is when they try to drag Jesus Christ into this, which is what they did on The View.
00:00:42.260 Listen to this.
00:00:43.780 They were in a place that accepts them for who they were, and someone came to that place.
00:00:47.840 I don't know that they hide behind religion because I said this on this show once before.
00:00:52.960 Jesus would be the grand marshal at the pride parade.
00:00:55.540 I don't mean about gay people. I mean in every argument we have.
00:00:58.740 But here's your question.
00:01:00.260 Here's my question, but it's wrong.
00:01:02.580 If you're so afraid, why are you going over there?
00:01:06.320 Yeah.
00:01:07.280 If they scare you so much, leave them alone.
00:01:11.000 When stuff scares me, I leave it alone.
00:01:13.680 If I don't want to be bothered, I don't go there.
00:01:16.700 See, that's the problem.
00:01:18.260 You don't want to just have your feelings.
00:01:20.380 You want everybody else to join you.
00:01:21.900 And you know what?
00:01:22.840 You can scream.
00:01:25.280 You can cuss.
00:01:26.100 You can do all the things that you say.
00:01:28.260 But you know what?
00:01:30.180 Gay people are here.
00:01:31.540 They're not going anywhere.
00:01:33.680 There is nothing you can do.
00:01:35.520 You know, you can yell and scream.
00:01:39.260 But you know, as the Lord, as everybody was talking about, you know, made in God's image.
00:01:46.580 Yep.
00:01:47.400 Made in God's image.
00:01:48.840 There are no but except for, there's none of that.
00:01:52.340 No.
00:01:53.040 Keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out where you stand as a human being, let alone a Christian.
00:01:59.260 We'll be right back.
00:01:59.900 I mean, it's just amazing.
00:02:02.800 She says, you can't just have your feelings.
00:02:05.040 You need everyone else to join you.
00:02:07.140 What?
00:02:07.920 That's the left to a T.
00:02:10.060 That's the perfect way of describing the left, especially the LGBT left and gender ideology.
00:02:17.080 You can't just have your feelings.
00:02:18.420 You need everyone to join you.
00:02:20.260 You can't just feel like the opposite gender.
00:02:23.040 You need everyone else to join you in affirming you in that.
00:02:27.160 But what I really appreciate is that the one chick at the beginning starts by saying, and I honestly don't know any of their names except for Whoopi Goldberg and Joy.
00:02:34.940 So I know those two.
00:02:35.720 The other two I don't know.
00:02:36.520 The other, however many it is.
00:02:39.580 The chick at the beginning says that they're weaponizing religion.
00:02:42.320 They use religion.
00:02:43.020 And then for the rest of the segment, all the other women on the panel do what she just accused conservatives of doing.
00:02:50.780 They start using religion to weaponize it against their opponents.
00:02:54.200 So they're like contradicting exactly what she just said.
00:02:57.320 And what we hear from one of them is that Jesus would have been the grand marshal at the pride parade.
00:03:04.620 Would have been the grand marshal.
00:03:07.620 Well, that's wrong on many levels, but let's talk about two of them.
00:03:13.020 One is really basic here, is that Jesus would not be the grand marshal of any parade that has pride in the title.
00:03:22.300 Because pride is identified in scripture repeatedly and by Jesus himself repeatedly as a sin.
00:03:31.160 Okay, pride is a sin.
00:03:33.720 Now, it's one thing, the English language sometimes falls short when it comes to translating biblical texts.
00:03:40.180 And so we have to kind of figure out what is meant by pride.
00:03:43.520 Because you can have, you could say that, I could say I'm proud of my children.
00:03:47.160 I'm proud of my family.
00:03:48.900 You could even have pride in accomplishments.
00:03:52.680 You know, if you accomplish something, you can say I'm proud of doing that.
00:03:54.880 I'm proud of the work that I did.
00:03:56.380 Nothing wrong with any of that.
00:03:58.160 Because you're taking pride in something else, right?
00:04:01.060 You're taking pride in achievement, something that was done.
00:04:03.080 You're taking pride in someone else, a family member.
00:04:06.920 You know, that's just, which is another way of saying love.
00:04:09.160 It's just you love them.
00:04:12.660 The kind of pride that we're warned about in scripture is this kind of haughty, vain, self-centered,
00:04:21.040 egotistical, I am the center of the universe kind of pride.
00:04:25.720 Pride, which is exactly the sort of pride that the pride parade is designed to communicate and convey and celebrate.
00:04:36.760 It's all about me.
00:04:38.240 Hey, that's what the whole pride parade is, right?
00:04:39.840 It's just, everyone, look at me.
00:04:40.780 Look at me.
00:04:41.800 That's all it is.
00:04:44.800 So it doesn't even matter the context.
00:04:47.120 Whatever the context is, if you're engaging in that kind of pride, Jesus is not going to celebrate it with you.
00:04:52.320 He's going to have some stern words for you about turning from your sin.
00:04:57.500 But then there is also the context to keep in mind here.
00:05:00.440 And, you know, because you brought it up, right?
00:05:03.240 They brought it up.
00:05:04.000 They brought up the Bible.
00:05:05.000 They brought up Christianity.
00:05:07.400 You brought it up.
00:05:09.740 And so we must inform you that what you're saying about Christian teaching and about scripture is just incorrect.
00:05:15.400 The Bible does, in fact, in both the Old and New Testament, in very explicit terms, lay out the homosexual act as a sin.
00:05:30.580 In fact, any sexual act that happens outside of the bonds of marriage is a sin, according to Christian sexual morality, biblical sexual morality.
00:05:40.520 And also, according to the Bible, marriage is between a man and a woman.
00:05:43.800 That's what it says.
00:05:46.980 Now, you can, if you're on The View or someone aligned with them, you can say, well, I don't care what the Bible says.
00:05:54.200 All right, but you're the one who brought it up.
00:05:56.400 Like, you just brought it up.
00:05:57.820 So they try to do both.
00:05:58.920 This is their game.
00:06:00.440 And in that clip, you heard both.
00:06:02.320 On one hand, no one cares what the Bible says.
00:06:04.560 Don't use your religion.
00:06:05.860 And then on the other hand, and by the way, I'll tell you what your religion says about this.
00:06:09.120 And the game is that if you correct them on what your religion says, then they can revert back to the first talking point and says, why are you talking about religion?
00:06:19.560 You brought it up.
00:06:20.540 So they can make whatever claim they want about your religion.
00:06:25.420 And if you correct them and say, well, actually, you're wrong.
00:06:27.640 It's not what our religion teaches.
00:06:28.740 Can I, as a member of my own religion, can I tell you?
00:06:31.660 I mean, you're a bunch of atheists, secular, godless humanists.
00:06:35.320 Can I tell you as a member of that religion what it, no, no, I'll speak for you, they say.
00:06:41.620 It's totally absurd.
00:06:42.520 More than 90% of Americans don't get enough fruits, vegetables, and fiber in their diet.
00:06:47.400 We're all basically walking nutritional disasters.
00:06:50.840 And that's where Balance of Nature Supplements comes in.
00:06:53.440 These aren't your typical synthetic vitamins with names you can't pronounce.
00:06:56.700 We're talking about 47 whole ingredients, 16 fruits, 15 vegetables, plus spices and fibers, real stuff like wild blueberries, kale, turmeric, mushrooms.
00:07:06.340 I've taken their fruits and veggies supplements for a while now.
00:07:09.060 And honestly, it's nice knowing that I'm getting the variety that I need without having to turn my kitchen into a produce section.
00:07:15.660 Especially handy to have while traveling as well.
00:07:18.120 Plus, their fibered spice blend is the only supplement on the market combining 12 spices with four whole fibers.
00:07:23.560 Look, I'm not saying this replaces eating actual vegetables.
00:07:26.600 I'm not a monster.
00:07:27.340 I'd never suggest such things.
00:07:28.780 But when life gets crazy and your diet consists mainly of whatever doesn't require cooking,
00:07:32.800 you know, it's nice to know that you're still getting healthy ingredients with Balance of Nature.
00:07:36.180 They're vegan, kosher, gluten-free, made with zero artificial anything.

00:07:51.500 So the women over on The View were squawking this week about free speech.
00:07:55.660 And I want to go through a couple of these clips.
00:07:58.520 First of all, here's Whoopi Goldberg announcing tragically that she's leaving Twitter.
00:08:04.100 It has been a little over a week since Elon Musk took over Twitter and the places.
00:08:12.440 It's a mess.
00:08:13.800 He's already called back some of the workforce he fired a few days ago.
00:08:17.360 He's putting his $8 charge for blue check verification on hold.
00:08:21.600 First, it was going to be $20.
00:08:23.240 Now it's going to be $8.
00:08:24.240 He also suspended Kathy Griffin for impersonating him on a parody account, which has started a free Kathy hashtag to Trent.
00:08:35.940 I mean, I'm getting off.
00:08:39.860 I'm getting off today because I just feel like, you know, it's so messy.
00:08:46.200 And I'm tired of now having had certain kinds of attitudes blocked and now they're back on.
00:08:55.880 And I just, I'm going to get out.
00:08:58.200 And if it settles down and I feel more comfortable, maybe I'll come back.
00:09:02.580 But as of tonight, I'm done with Twitter.
00:09:05.540 Of course, if you're like me, you hear that and you think, oh, you were on Twitter?
00:09:11.300 I didn't even know that.
00:09:12.440 Like, what are the, what are the, I just want to know if I can get in their own head, get in their heads, which is not really a place I'd want to be.
00:09:18.600 But how do you think people are going to react to this?
00:09:21.160 Do you think people are, you're making some big dramatic announcement?
00:09:25.000 I'm done.
00:09:25.580 You know, I might be back later, but I just, for now, I'm out of there.
00:09:28.220 Which, by the way, when it comes to dramatic announcements, that's, that's, that's kind of an anticlimactic way to go about it.
00:09:36.260 I'm done.
00:09:37.020 I mean, I might come back later, but I'm done for now.
00:09:39.000 I will not be on Twitter again until at least tomorrow morning, if not a little bit sooner.
00:09:45.120 But at this moment right now, I'm not going to be, I am not using Twitter at this moment while I'm on TV.
00:09:50.920 But what do they expect?
00:09:51.960 Do they think that people are going to, like, do people think it's good that Elon Musk took over Twitter?
00:09:56.700 Are they going to say, well, never mind.
00:09:57.940 I mean, if this scares Whoopi Goldberg away, I can't imagine Twitter without Whoopi Goldberg.
00:10:05.920 And then you also see, once again, just the total, absolute fragility of these people.
00:10:13.180 She says, oh, all these people that were, they were, I was insulated from them.
00:10:17.020 And now, and now their, their ideas are going to be, I'm going to maybe be exposed to some of their ideas and opinions and their words.
00:10:27.560 And I can't, I, I can't deal with that.
00:10:32.480 She also has some thoughts on the nature of free speech.
00:10:35.180 I think this is in clip six.
00:10:38.600 Communications Act, which, which basically allows this to happen.
00:10:42.140 I think it's section 230.
00:10:43.760 It allows, you know, protection of social media as just platforms.
00:10:49.540 Under freedom of speech.
00:10:50.300 Under the freedom of speech.
00:10:51.000 Well, they just say that they're, they're third party platforms.
00:10:53.540 They're not the ones that are putting it out there.
00:10:55.480 Yeah.
00:10:55.740 And that can only change by legislation.
00:10:57.960 And if the Republicans rule the Senate, that will never change.
00:11:01.540 Section 230 is a little fraught, though.
00:11:02.460 It's a bit challenging.
00:11:03.260 Because if you treat it like a publication, then that means they're liable for any crazy thing someone posts.
00:11:07.980 Well, it is a publication, it is a publication, but there is a way to craft it.
00:11:11.700 They keep saying that it's free speech, and some speech is not, all speech is not free speech.
00:11:17.880 Some speech is not okay free speech.
00:11:20.660 So everybody has to agree on that.
00:11:23.300 But if people keep saying, well, you're in my free speech, it's going to be a problem.
00:11:26.800 But you know what?
00:11:28.820 This is going to be, this is our problem.
00:11:31.180 But it ain't my problem today, because I'm out.
00:11:35.360 Some speech is not okay free speech.
00:11:39.640 That's, that's it.
00:11:40.680 So there's been this debate for centuries, really, about, about free speech.
00:11:45.260 What is free speech?
00:11:46.040 What counts as free speech?
00:11:47.220 And is free speech absolute?
00:11:51.840 And Whoopi Goldberg has, I guess, settled, settled the debate entirely.
00:11:56.400 She says that, you know, some speech is just not okay.
00:12:01.860 And how do we know if it's not okay or not?
00:12:03.480 I guess she'll tell us.
00:12:07.040 Meanwhile, although this maybe has been a debate, I've never found the debate all that interesting.
00:12:12.560 Because to me, now they're always around the margins.
00:12:14.920 There are always going to be the harder kind of cases.
00:12:18.380 But for the most part, you know, when you, like 99.9% of all the speech that goes on,
00:12:26.900 it's really easy to determine whether it, quote, counts as free speech or whether it ought to count as free speech or not.
00:12:34.380 Okay?
00:12:37.040 And the things that shouldn't count as free speech, generally speaking, if you're making direct violent threats against someone, actual threats,
00:12:45.980 and using a pronoun you don't like, that's not a threat.
00:12:51.080 Disagreeing with you is not a threat.
00:12:52.320 But saying something like, I'm going to come to your house and kill you, like saying the things that trans activists say to me almost every day, that's a threat.
00:13:00.360 That's clearly a threat.
00:13:02.120 So that's not free speech.
00:13:03.840 At least it shouldn't be.
00:13:06.420 Trying to explicitly encourage other people to cause harm to someone or to commit a crime.
00:13:12.300 Again, that clearly shouldn't count as free speech.
00:13:18.940 Defamation, right?
00:13:21.620 Slander, libel, any form of speech written or spoken where you're lying about someone in order to cause them harm.
00:13:31.380 Not free speech.
00:13:33.860 And those are pretty much all the exceptions.
00:13:36.940 You might be able to come up with a few here and there, but you know what the exceptions are when you see them.
00:13:41.160 It's pretty rare when you come across an actual hard case of trying to determine, oh, does that qualify as free speech or not?
00:13:50.060 Because again, I think 99.9% of it we all know.
00:13:54.060 And most of the speech that goes on on social media, people might be vulgar, they might be, you know, they might be cruel, they might be rude.
00:14:05.820 But they're essentially just expressing their opinion.
00:14:08.200 And if you're expressing your opinion, that's free speech and that ought to be allowed on social media.
00:14:16.160 It ought to be allowed on Twitter.
00:14:17.880 If Twitter is saying, I mean, if Twitter is saying that they've got, if Elon Musk is saying he has a commitment to free speech, if that's what he's saying, he wants to run his company,
00:14:25.260 then that means that people should be able to simply just express their ideas and their opinions and that's it.
00:14:31.020 And if you don't like what someone says, you can disagree with them, you can even block them, there's a lot of, you can choose not to read it, there are a lot of ways around it.
00:14:40.140 But to me, it's not all that difficult.
00:14:45.900 Let people speak, let them voice their opinions.
00:14:50.100 That's it.
00:14:50.660 That's all.
00:14:51.140 Thank you.
00:14:52.480 Thank you.
00:14:53.040 Thanks.
00:14:54.180 Just share with me.
00:14:55.640 I'm sorry.
00:14:56.040 Bye.
00:14:57.160 Bye.
