00:02:13.580 Department of Justice to release all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative
00:02:19.440 materials in its possession, with limited exceptions, including information identifying witnesses and child
00:02:26.160 sex abuse material. After months of resistance that ran all the way into last week from President Donald
00:02:32.480 Trump and House GOP leadership, Mr. Trump earlier this week changing his stance entirely, saying,
00:02:39.020 quote, we have nothing to hide, and calling on the House to pass the bill in an effort to move on from
00:02:43.980 the issue. This after a major campaign from a few GOP representatives like Marjorie Taylor Greene and
00:02:50.580 Thomas Massey. Yesterday, now with the President's blessing, the House passing the measure 427 to 1.
00:02:57.900 Shortly thereafter, the Senate unanimously passing the bill, now sending it to the President's desk
00:03:04.020 for signature. Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana, a Republican, the only dissenting House vote.
00:03:10.780 Mr. Higgins posting his reasoning to X, quote, if enacted in its current form, this type of broad
00:03:15.940 reveal of criminal investigative files released to a rabid media will absolutely result in innocent
00:03:22.280 people being hurt. House Speaker Mike Johnson yesterday morning calling the petition hastily
00:03:27.400 written, outlining numerous concerns with the legislation.
00:03:30.960 As drafted, the discharge petition, it fails to fully protect victim privacy. It could be used to unmask
00:03:38.180 victims who have chosen to remain anonymous. It requires the DOJ to release information, even in cases
00:03:44.820 where the DOJ or the FBI has already reviewed it and determined it is not credible. The discharge in its
00:03:50.020 current form fails to prohibit the release of child sexual abuse materials. We've got to make sure
00:03:54.700 that we disclose the names of anybody who aided or conspired in any way with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:04:02.700 But at the same time, you've got to make sure that innocent people are protected.
00:04:06.200 Speaker Johnson attempting to convince Senate colleagues to offer amendments addressing his
00:04:10.660 concerns but failing. Senate Majority Leader John Thune telling reporters, quote,
00:04:14.920 When a bill passes the House 427 to 1 and the president says he'll sign it into law,
00:04:21.840 I'm not sure there's going to be a need for or a desire for an amendment process over here.
00:04:27.600 Over at the White House, President Trump asked about why he's waiting for Congress to vote on the
00:04:32.220 issue rather than simply ordering the files released himself.

00:04:38.820 As far as the Epstein files is, I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of my
00:04:44.120 club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert. And I guess I would turn out to be
00:04:48.780 right. But you know who does have Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, who ran Harvard, was with him every
00:04:54.560 single night, every single weekend. They lived together. They went to his island many times.
00:04:59.600 I never did. Andrew Westman are here. All these guys were friends of his. You don't even talk
00:05:04.600 about those people. You just keep going on the Epstein files. Over the weekend, President Trump
00:05:10.040 directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to open a probe into Epstein's Democrat ties. Some warning
00:05:16.340 that move could allow the DOJ to withhold certain materials since documents tied to an active
00:05:21.440 investigation cannot be released. The DOJ previously releasing thousands of documents to the House
00:05:27.280 Oversight Committee in connection with its investigation into Epstein. Oversight also obtaining
00:05:32.980 some 30,000 documents from the Epstein estate directly. On Monday, President Trump saying he
00:05:39.100 will sign legislation that comes to his desk requiring Epstein files disclosure. Exactly when that will
00:05:45.440 happen is unclear. President Trump yesterday welcoming Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto
00:05:53.360 leader of his government, to the White House for the first time since 2018. The prince becoming an
00:05:59.580 international pariah following the 2018 murder of Saudi critical journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the
00:06:06.360 Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. MBS was appointed Crown Prince in June 2017, a 2018 CIA assessment
00:06:15.060 concluding the murder of Khashoggi was ordered by MBS. The prince denying involvement, though accepting
00:06:21.340 responsibility for the killing, as the head of his government. Under the Biden administration,
00:06:26.280 the Saudis largely getting the cold shoulder. President Biden in 2022 coming under intense
00:06:31.920 criticism for offering a fist bump to the crown prince during a trip to the country. President
00:06:37.720 Trump taking a different approach, instead seeking to stabilize relations in the Middle East,
00:06:42.780 including with the powerful oil-rich nation, through business deals and investment opportunities.

00:07:20.020 America. Today and tomorrow, we're going to announce that we are going to increase that $600 billion to
00:07:24.520 almost $1 trillion dollar for investment, real investment and real opportunity by details in
00:07:29.980 many areas. The Saudis, controversial not only due to the Khashoggi killing, but also due to 9-11.
00:07:37.020 MBS was only 15 when the attacks occurred, but the 9-11 families still seeking accountability.
00:07:42.760 Fifteen of the 19 hijackers came from Saudi Arabia, against whom the 9-11 families have an ongoing
00:07:48.920 legal case. That case in August was finally given the go-ahead for trial by a federal district judge.

00:10:13.460 plight of Christians in Nigeria, who reportedly face attacks from Islamic extremist groups.
00:10:19.380 President Trump reigniting the issue earlier this month, declaring Nigeria a country of particular
00:10:24.820 concern, a legal designation finding a country, quote, engages in or tolerates particularly severe
00:10:30.820 violations of religious freedom. The designation allowing the State Department to impose penalties
00:10:36.260 on the Nigerian government, including cutting U.S. aid and blocking U.S. loans.
00:10:40.940 Minaj expressing gratitude for the president's initiative on social media, then subsequently
00:10:46.300 speaking at the U.N. yesterday at the invitation of U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz.
00:10:51.260 It is an honor to stand on this stage to shine a spotlight on the deadly threat faced by thousands
00:10:57.940 of Christians in Nigeria. I would like to thank President Trump for prioritizing this issue and
00:11:04.980 calling for urgent action to defend Christians in Nigeria, to combat extremism,
00:11:10.360 and to bring a stop to violence against those who simply want to exercise their natural
00:11:15.400 right to freedom of religion or belief. Faith is under attack. Churches have been burned.
00:11:23.320 Families have been torn apart. And entire communities live in fear constantly, simply because of how
00:11:31.160 they pray. This isn't about taking sides. This is about standing up in the face of injustice.
00:11:38.100 It was quite a change of role for Minaj, who's known for hits like Anaconda, in which she sings
00:11:44.340 about the, quote, real country ass N-word, who let her, quote, play with his rifle, adding her,
00:11:50.740 quote, P-word, put his ass to sleep, and now he calls me NyQuil. Her latest turn is a good one,
00:11:56.760 however, as she is hugely popular, with about 229 million followers on Instagram alone,
00:12:03.000 and she has sold over 100 million records. An August report by the International Society
00:12:09.680 for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law finding in the first seven months of this year in Nigeria,
00:12:15.800 more than 7,000 Christians were killed. Between 2009 and 2023, that group estimating at least
00:12:21.820 52,000 Christians killed and more than 20,000 schools and churches attacked.
00:12:27.540 We spoke with Republican Congressman Riley Moore of West Virginia, a leading advocate in Congress
00:12:33.700 on the issue, and the lawmaker tasked by President Trump with compiling a full report
00:12:38.520 on the atrocities occurring in Nigeria.
00:12:40.940 It just so happens to have everything to do with Christians. And these Muslim militants,
00:12:46.800 if it were not religiously motivated, why would they be burning down and destroying churches,
00:12:51.380 burning people alive in churches, obviously to make a statement on all of this. So
00:12:55.380 it is very targeted. The ratios that, and the facts that we've gotten off the ground,
00:13:01.120 the ratio is about five to one. Five to one Christians to one of every non-Christians that
00:13:07.300 is being killed in Nigeria right now. And around the world, of all the Christians who are murdered for
00:13:13.820 their faith, 70 percent of them are in the country of Nigeria right now.
00:13:18.360 The congressman describing the key groups responsible for perpetuating the violence.
00:13:23.040 And then there's a lot of complexity to this, but in kind of broad brushstrokes, what's happening
00:13:28.480 here is that this has been going on since 2009, really the rise of Boko Haram. And now you have
00:13:35.200 Boko Haram, IS West Africa, ISIS affiliated, and then you have this Fulani tribe, which is in the
00:13:42.280 middle band of the country. So you have a lot of Christians being murdered and martyred in the middle
00:13:48.440 band of the country. It's really where about 80 percent of the attacks at this point are taking
00:13:53.160 place. We've seen how they operate, kind of Al-Qaeda, ISIS affiliated groups that are trying to take
00:13:58.580 territory, create caliphate. Only people standing in the way of that objective are Christians, so they
00:14:05.600 are trying to wipe them out. Since 2009, estimates range in between 50,000 of upward over 100,000
00:14:13.160 Christians have been murdered for the profession of their faith, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
00:14:18.920 The president of Nigeria denying accusations of anti-Christian bias, saying, quote,
00:14:23.900 the characterization of Nigeria as religiously intolerant does not reflect our national reality,
00:14:30.120 nor does it take into consideration the consistent and sincere efforts of the government
00:14:34.140 to safeguard freedom of religion and beliefs for all Nigerians. Congressman Moore strongly disagrees.
00:14:41.240 That could not be further from the truth. And all the organizations we talk to on the ground,
00:14:47.880 I contradict that statement in totality. And I get the position President Tanubo is in where he's
00:14:55.920 trying to strike this balance, but it's very clear that they have not been protecting the Christians.
00:15:01.500 I give you a great example. Earlier this month, there was a pastor who said,
00:15:06.560 we are an imminent threat. We are going to be attacked. Nigerian government, please come help
00:15:13.360 us. The Nigerian government not only did not show up to help them or protect them,
00:15:18.020 they actually issued a statement saying that this was hyperbole. It's overblown. This is fake news.
00:15:24.420 Nothing's going to happen. Within 24 hours, that pastor and 10 of his congregants were murdered.
00:15:30.620 That is what's going on here.
00:15:32.160 Moore says Nigeria's federal government controls security deployment and has simply not made the
00:15:37.560 protection of Christian communities a priority, but has allowed extremist groups to operate freely.
00:15:42.800 The Fulani tribe are Sunni Muslims, and they are radical extremists. And they're able to operate with
00:15:51.560 impunity in this. So in Nigeria, it is illegal for any citizen to bear arms, not like our country.
00:15:59.880 But I guess, you know, for whatever, if you are an Islamic extremist, like these Fulani militants,
00:16:06.840 you're allowed to have weapons. And so they are all armed. All the Christians are unarmed in this.
00:16:13.020 The stakes of Congressman Moore's report are high. President Trump posting to Truth Social earlier
00:16:18.400 this month, quote, if the Nigerian government continues to allow the killing of Christians,
00:16:22.920 the USA may very well go into that now disgraced country, guns a-blazing, to completely wipe out
00:16:30.040 the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities. More here on the report.
00:16:35.840 We're going to let the facts drive our conclusions. And so we're going to get to the bottom of it,
00:16:42.640 which is what President Trump has asked me to do. And we are going to provide him a report that has
00:16:48.880 ground truth from our perspective here in the legislative branch. So we can lay out to the
00:16:54.500 president the ground truth of exactly what is going on there. And then the president is going
