00:00:59.620 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM channel 111 every weekday at New East.

00:01:12.500 Hey, everyone. I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, and happy Monday.

00:01:16.920 We've got an incredible show for you today. My goodness gracious.

00:01:21.020 The news gods have rained down a very interesting mix for us today.

00:01:25.480 And we also have a great series starting tonight, right here on the MK Show podcast feed and

00:01:32.320 on our YouTube channel.

00:01:33.780 This is for all of you true crime aficionados who, like myself, are very into that genre.

00:01:40.080 We're calling it MK Confidential, and it's a new true crime show, not to be confused

00:01:45.920 with our true crime channel, which, you know, has got our friends like I Glarsh and Garagos and so

00:01:52.000 on it. This is right here on the Megan Kelly show feed. So you don't have to do anything

00:01:55.340 different. Just check our feed. And tonight we'll be launching the first edition. It's basically

00:02:02.780 something that we started special for the summer because every summer, I don't know about you,

00:02:07.400 but on my downtime, I am obsessed with true crime and especially in the summer. I don't know why.

00:02:12.640 I don't know why. But tonight it launches at 9 p.m. Eastern. In our first case, we're going to do

00:02:18.000 like one case a week. We dig into JonBenet Ramsey, five episodes each night this week,

00:02:24.900 and then throughout the summer, seven more of the most interesting true crime cases of the past

00:02:29.960 several decades. Again, same podcast feed, YouTube channel as The Megyn Kelly Show.

00:02:35.320 It's called MK Confidential. It'll launch. You'll see it on your feed if you already subscribe to

00:02:39.520 our show. If you don't, please do. And I hope you really enjoy it. I really have been enjoying doing

00:02:45.380 the episodes. It's like, it's super fun to dig into the facts on some of these old cases,

00:02:50.780 disturbing, rattling, fascinating, and just entertaining in the way that like trying to

00:03:00.420 solve a crime can be entertaining, right? It's like stimulate your brain with a problem that

00:03:05.300 isn't yours exactly. So, but it's, but it's got great gravitas. And so it can distract you from

00:03:11.440 your own problems. I don't know. There's a lot of reasons why people like true crime and try and

00:03:16.140 crime con is so big and so on. And I know there are a lot of people who've got thoughts about

00:03:19.300 some of the cases that we've chosen. So in any event, please enjoy that. Uh, you will see it

00:03:23.920 in your MK show feed this evening. Let's get to some news. When you sign your insurance policy

00:04:31.580 Sunny Hostin of The View is on tape trying to get her son out of legal trouble by pulling

00:04:38.440 the Harvard card. I've got thoughts. First, though, there are already major developments

00:04:43.820 in the race to be the Democratic nominee for president in twenty twenty eight. 0.93

00:04:47.560 We're rooting, of course, for Kamala to give it another go. And it does sound like that may be

00:04:52.920 happening because look at this headline from New York magazine this morning. Quote, like it or not,

00:04:57.600 Kamala Harris is the frontrunner. You go, girl. You got this. Don't believe the naysayers. Look 0.99

00:05:04.420 at New York Magazine. They're acknowledging you're the frontrunner. That's right. Despite

00:05:08.280 cackling through a billion dollars in 107 days only to fail by losing every single swing state,

00:05:17.460 the Democrats are seriously considering giving Kamala Harris another chance.

00:05:22.160 I love them so much. Thank you, Democrats. Thank you. New York Magazine quotes one of her former

00:05:30.920 aides as saying, quote, she walks in as the front runner. It is fairly obvious she's followed

00:05:37.080 wherever she goes. And I don't want to upset any narratives that any of the other candidates are

00:05:41.660 pushing, but she comes in with 99% name ID and everyone else is going to have to raise money 1.00

00:05:48.060 and buy it. So you're right, campaign aide. You are correct. She's got a running start.

00:05:55.280 Let her run. The more America saw of Kamala Harris, of course, the less they liked her 1.00

00:05:59.600 as a presidential candidate. But who cares? Because she's a woman and she's black. And if

00:06:04.080 you're a Democrat, that's all that matters. But Harris's advisors somehow came to the opposite

00:06:08.380 conclusion that she was building momentum with voters, determining that the problem for her 0.78

00:06:14.520 in losing was simply that she didn't have enough time to show America who she really was.

00:06:22.020 The problem is not that we got to know her and didn't like her, it's that we didn't get to know

00:06:26.760 her. Okay. So after four years as vice president, not to mention her time prior to that as senator

00:06:32.500 and her time in California politics, and then her 107 days in the campaign, we just didn't know her.

00:06:38.900 That's yes. Let's not disabuse them of that notion. You're right. If we get to know her

00:06:43.860 better. I'm sure you're going to have a different result next time around. And I'm sure, you know,

00:06:48.480 in a debate setting against J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio, she would really shine. All right. Now,

00:06:54.740 I shouldn't say that because the one thing she was actually pretty decent at was the debates.

00:06:58.260 I'm going to give her that legitimately. It could have been worse. Let's put it this way.

00:07:03.720 So now she's trying to repair and rebuild. She is meeting with members of the far left part of her

00:07:09.640 Party, the anti-Israel wing, and has even reportedly reached out to New York's socialist

00:07:16.300 Muslim mayor, Zoran Mamdani. And that's very interesting. I mean, he's got a constituency

00:07:21.780 and she wants it. So listen, this woman is running. Why would somebody like Kamala Harris 1.00

00:07:27.400 reach out to him if she weren't? New York Magazine quotes a supporter who recently met with Kamala

00:07:33.640 as saying the following, quote, she's looking for where the wave is going and is determined to ride

00:07:39.340 it. Yeah. Right. It's sister. Her mindset is that I should have won and I am going to do it my way 0.58

00:07:44.940 because my way would have won. And it was all these consultants that were telling me to take

00:07:49.820 this position or that position. And it was their fault. Yes, it was their fault. Hold on a second.

00:07:57.600 Cause there's another quote in there. That's absolutely spectacular where, um, she said,

00:08:03.840 Hold on. I'm pulling the article, which is right here. Not she. Somebody says.

00:08:09.880 Here's the final the final line from a Democratic strategist in the New York

00:08:13.940 magazine piece. I hope she runs, said Alex Hoffman, a Dem strategist who advises several

00:08:19.260 major party donors, quote, because then she will lose and we will never have to hear from her

00:08:23.820 again. She will never win an election at a national scale. Never. So will they listen to 1.00

00:08:30.760 this Alex Hoffman, or will they listen to Kamala? I don't know. The Democrats do have some other

00:08:40.520 choices, including the congresswoman from New York, Alexandria Ocasios-Cortez. Sandy, 1.00

00:08:48.600 Sandy Cortez, that's what she went by until she decided to get into national politics. 0.99

00:08:52.680 Yes, AOC, as she's colloquially known, is getting praise back to Mayor Mom Donnie.

00:09:00.420 He's the kingmaker now himself, getting praise from him in an interview with The New York Times.

00:09:06.820 He got the Lulu Garcia Narvala, whatever, Navarro treatment over the weekend and did not hold back on whether AOC would be a strong commander in chief.

00:09:17.440 Watch. We all have to take a step back and appreciate what it is that she means to so many

00:09:25.320 across this country. And the reason for it is the work that she has done. I think she'd make a good

00:09:29.640 president. I think she would make a good anything. OK, we do know one thing about AOC. She will not 1.00

00:09:36.820 be afraid to pander to Democrat voters. Listen to how she changed her accent while campaigning

00:09:42.300 for House candidate Justin Pearson before a predominantly black audience in Memphis

00:09:49.020 on Friday. Watch. Brothers and sisters,

00:09:52.320 we cannot afford to leave Tennessee behind. We cannot afford to leave Kentucky behind,

00:10:02.060 Alabama behind, Mississippi behind, Georgia behind, South Carolina behind.

00:10:09.120 My sister Presley and I were in Montgomery, Alabama.

00:10:12.480 One of the things that we said was that it is time for the North to roll up to the South.

00:10:22.560 We will not be chased out of places anymore, brothers and sisters.

00:10:28.440 It is going to take all of us together, rejecting the separation,

00:10:32.900 for us to organize and speak life into one another,

00:10:37.320 because we will, we will see the day where we will turn the crooked path straight, Memphis.

00:10:47.700 Sister Presley and I, Sister Callahan and I have thoughts.

00:10:56.900 Okay. Look, maybe this is working. We don't, do we really understand Democrat voters that well?

00:11:05.000 I don't know that we do. Maybe that's going to work because now she's getting compared to Barack 0.97

00:11:10.760 Obama. And in Democrat circles, that's a good thing. That's a compliment. Axios' Alex Thompson

00:11:16.260 has a new piece out entitled AOC Channels Obama's Hope and Change Message, pointing out that AOC

00:11:24.340 in 2026 sounds an awful lot like Obama did back in 2007. Here she is campaigning for far-left

00:11:31.540 michigan senate candidate abdul el saeed over the weekend watch is the answer to our problems

00:11:38.920 to turn to the same playbook over and over again a playbook that says in order to win we need to

00:11:49.040 show deference to trump by thanking his same ice agency that has shot renee good alex preddy

00:11:56.640 Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, and Johan Sebastian Durán Guerrero.

00:12:02.620 A playbook that says, in order to win, we must be defenders of the same status quo that is drowning us 0.94

00:12:12.180 and tells us the aspiration to change our government and the ambition to even try is foolish. 0.92

00:12:20.480 No, it's not foolish, Michigan.

00:12:24.120 it is the responsible and right thing to do.

00:12:33.200 She's going to have to pick a lane, by the way. 1.00

00:12:36.080 She's doing like the black thing. 1.00

00:12:37.740 Is she doing the Hispanic thing? 1.00

00:12:39.500 She's trying to be Barack Obama. 0.67

00:12:41.760 But listen, by the way, speaking of Barack Obama, listen to his message.

00:12:45.660 This was him speaking to Democrats in Iowa in 2007.

00:12:49.560 The same old Washington textbook campaigns just won't do in this election.

00:12:58.940 That's why I'm asking you to stop settling for what the cynics say we have to accept.

00:13:08.340 In this election, in this moment, let us reach for what we know is possible.

00:13:16.180 a nation healed a world repaired an america that believes again thank you very much everybody 0.98

00:13:24.860 thank you can you believe people fell for that bullshit a nation healed a world repaired 0.94

00:13:31.300 and people were literally like yes he'll do it okay the very first thing he did when he got 0.98

00:13:36.140 elected was going on an apology tour for america across the world saying how sorry we were for our

00:13:40.740 foreign policy and then jammed a revision of one-seventh of the U.S. economy down our throats

00:13:47.580 without majority support. The first time an entitlement like that had been passed without

00:13:51.200 majority support in U.S. history, Obamacare, which is still struggling, unpopular, and effed untold

00:13:58.660 numbers of Americans over when it comes to keeping their doctor and their health care plan. Literally

00:14:03.780 people died. This is the same guy who gave Chris Matthews a thrill up his leg back in the day. I

00:14:09.400 what a weird media we have. Thrill up his leg. Even like if you have a thrill when watching a

00:14:15.840 politician, shouldn't it be like up your back? Up your leg takes us to a strange place, Chris

00:14:21.460 Matthews. I'm not sure as a man in particular, you really want to be saying another man makes

00:14:29.040 you feel like that. Maybe it's just me. Speaking of excitement, maybe AOC will give us more moments

00:14:35.720 like this one, when she went on the trail, she's been everywhere. You know, this is last year or

00:14:40.380 two years ago, 2024, but like she's doing a lot of politicking for her fellow Democrats. Yet another

00:14:46.200 sign. She's got higher career aspirations. Um, but here is where she went on the trail for far 1.00

00:14:54.060 left Congressman Jamal Bowman in 2024. This was AOC unleashed. It didn't work. He was voted out

00:15:00.980 of office, notwithstanding this performance here by her.

00:15:30.980 You know, I remember Roger Ailes telling me that men don't like women who are screaming

00:15:44.140 at them.

00:15:45.140 There's a different news personality out there who I shall not name in this particular

00:15:49.480 moment whom he did not like.

00:15:52.620 And he used to say that it's only like a weird fetish fetishized section of men who

00:16:00.520 want to be across from a woman who's screaming at them. And I think AOC might benefit if she

00:16:07.360 took that advice to heart. In general, I mean, men and women, but especially men, don't respond well

00:16:14.460 to a woman screaming her guts out at them. And honestly, I think most men want a woman they can 0.92

00:16:20.280 respect, not somebody who's confused and still stuck in her teenage years and still thinks what

00:16:26.840 would be badass is to show up in shorts and like a white button down, hop around the stage,

00:16:34.880 whip your hair down like you're, you know, in back in the bar serving the margaritas. 1.00

00:16:39.000 That's a good move as a cocktail waitress. Yeah. You want tips and you want to kind of look hot 1.00

00:16:42.640 and sexy. Like you're thinking about sex, let your hair down. Yeah, you go. Now you want to

00:16:46.980 be taken seriously as a politician. And you think the way forward is to both try to project some

00:16:52.160 sort of sex appeal, which failed given the outfit you chose, and also to scream at the people? I

00:16:58.780 don't think so. Didn't work for Jamal Bowman, and I don't think it's going to work for AOC either.

00:17:06.280 Okay, but as bad as these options are, Kamala and AOC for the Democrats, the Democrats would

00:17:12.600 certainly prefer to talk about those two than what's going on in Maine in the wake of Graham

00:17:18.480 Plattner falling apart. As we told you, he won the Democratic primary for Senate in that state,

00:17:26.160 but he was forced to withdraw after sexual assault allegations. I mean, he was on his way

00:17:33.100 toward officially securing the nomination. And that's when everything fell apart with all these

00:17:39.120 women coming forward. And then finally, one woman came forward and said he raped her and he denied

00:17:44.060 it. And that was the end of him. One of the candidates running to replace him, wanting to 0.82

00:17:50.660 take on Susan Collins in Maine, who's been very popular with Maine voters. She may not be popular

00:17:57.240 with the Trump White House or the MAGA base, but you know, Maine is a different kettle of fish and 1.00

00:18:02.280 she's popular up there. And look, she's better than one of these far left Dems. But one of the 1.00

00:18:09.440 candidates now vying to take on Susan Collins by replacing Graham Plattner as the nominee is

00:18:16.400 Ashley Webb. Ashley Webb is a man who had this to say about why the Democrats should nominate

00:18:26.500 him to run against Collins. Ashley Webb, what qualifications do you have to serve in the U.S.

00:18:32.900 Senate? Well, I ran for office several times. Didn't win, but I didn't run. And then

00:18:38.580 I'm a songwriter and then I write my own books and then it's supposed my transparency.

00:18:46.860 I wouldn't lie to the people and I wouldn't deceive the people like we're being deceived

00:18:51.280 right now.

00:18:51.960 Like you wouldn't lie to the people.

00:18:55.620 You wouldn't deceive the people.

00:18:58.360 Okay. 1.00

00:18:58.880 You are standing up there in a dress trying to pawn yourself off as a woman. 1.00

00:19:04.060 So I'm feeling like you would lie to us and you would deceive us. 0.99

00:19:08.580 Um, that's, that's just my own. That's my, that's my own feeling based on what I've learned about

00:19:16.060 you, Ashley. It's even worse on web's Reddit account, which has since been deleted. What a

00:19:23.560 shock, what a dope. He didn't even delete it before he decided to run for the seat,

00:19:28.320 but we have the screenshots. Of course, this one was posted about a year ago. Buckle up. Okay.

00:19:33.020 he wrote, quote, just forgive me in advance. Trigger warning here. When I am having this

00:19:40.420 monthly period pain and it is not too bad, I feel something in my right side where my

00:19:47.540 appendix is located and something of the bladder. When the monthly pain is real bad,

00:19:53.480 I am feeling something in both my right and left side and above my bladder. When you don't have

00:19:59.080 the proper hole, it finds one of two exits. The guy in China was lucky, and the exit was his 0.97

00:20:05.920 bladder. Me, on the other hand, was not so lucky. Listen to this idiot. Me was not so lucky. 0.99

00:20:12.840 My exit connection was made with my colon. Because when I get this monthly pain,

00:20:21.320 that is where the blood comes out of. Intersex like us don't get diagnosed until our 20s,

00:20:28.400 as we tend not to be born with extra holes. I didn't get diagnosed in my 20s because I was

00:20:35.500 dealing with incompetent doctors. Where, where do we be? He is deceitful. He's not a woman.

00:20:47.520 His name is not Ashley. And he is not menstruating with the blood coming out of his anus. 0.99

00:20:58.400 not a thing. Um, and just to be extra, extra sure, I did consult, uh, my medical references

00:21:07.000 this morning and it's not a thing, no matter what. Um, he, he attempted to post some like proof

00:21:15.880 that this was his problem. It utterly failed apart, fell apart and failed to prove anything

00:21:21.180 other than he's deranged. He's not a well man. Um, about a year ago also, he allegedly posted

00:21:27.660 the following on Reddit. Quote, I don't like talking about the monthly rectal bleeding. Again,

00:21:33.740 sorry, trigger warning. Because when I talk about it to doctors, it tends to get me colonoscopies

00:21:39.480 that turn up nothings. Right. When any of us go into a doctor and say we have rectal bleeding,

00:21:49.540 all of us would be given a colonoscopy. And he goes on. And talking about the pain gets me

00:21:56.700 CAT scans that turn up nothing. That's because there's nothing in there, sir. There's not a

00:22:04.880 uterus and there's not ovaries. He continued, FYI, CAT scans can't find a uterus and ovaries

00:22:12.020 when they enter your gender as male. They use different scanning process for females. 0.84

00:22:18.520 I see. So the CAT scan, which is supposed to survey, take a, take a, basically a look inside 0.85

00:22:26.700 of your abdominal cavity right below your stomach. It has special screening abilities for ovaries

00:22:34.380 and like you're in there looking around. And what did they find, sir? Nothing? Like your,

00:22:40.860 your ovaries and your uterus just simply disappeared off the screen. And that was, 0.83

00:22:45.720 and you had no testicles either? There were no gonads in there? I'm like, this person is a 0.98

00:22:52.040 deranged lunatic. He thinks that he's got a bad doctor because he complained of bleeding out of 0.99

00:22:57.440 his anus and he was given colonoscopies. That's pretty much par for the course. It's kind of

00:23:05.240 standard operating procedure. The next trip should have been to his psychiatrist. Webb also revealing

00:23:11.700 a report, he says, is from his CT scan just over the weekend. He just revealed this,

00:23:17.800 writing about it on Facebook. Quote, the radiologist addressed the adrenal gland

00:23:23.480 and explicitly noted that the scrotum was not well evaluated by CT, but remained completely

00:23:32.460 silent on ovaries, despite being asked. Silence on a specifically requested finding

00:23:38.660 isn't no evidence. It's an incomplete report, one that hasn't concluded whether ovaries are present

00:23:45.840 or absent either way. Anyone citing it as proof of anything about my anatomy is citing a document

00:23:51.720 that doesn't answer the question they are claiming it answers. Well, I don't really need to see a

00:23:59.960 scan of your cavities sir can we rerun that soundbite we just ran here's my proof that you

00:24:08.760 are a man ashley webb what qualifications do you have to serve in the u.s senate oh i ran for office

00:24:15.100 several times didn't win but i did run and then um i'm a songwriter and then i write my own books

00:24:22.720 and then I suppose my transparency, I wouldn't lie to the people and I wouldn't deceive the

00:24:30.100 people like we're being deceived right now. You wouldn't lie to us except to tell us that

00:24:36.000 you have blood coming out of your ass that's from your uterus. 1.00

00:24:42.020 We're going to have troubles, you and I, sir. Webb is also apparently tech savvy. He has a memoir 1.00

00:24:49.040 entitled I am Ashley, but he used an image generated. I mean, I would too, if I look like

00:24:55.360 him generated by AI and check out the picture he chose to promote his, his memoir instead of what

00:25:04.460 he really looks like. It's a stunning, slim, pretty woman, unlike the Hulk of a man that

00:25:13.200 Ashley actually is over here on screen, right? This is unbelievable that this person participated

00:25:19.520 in the debate. I mean, who'd you rather have this guy or Graham Plattner, the, you know,

00:25:29.620 alleged rapist Nazi tattoo guy? I don't, I think I'd be voting for Plattner. Um, to the surprise 0.91

00:25:37.240 of no one, progressive Troy Jackson is now considered to be a lock for this Democratic

00:25:43.920 nominee spot in Maine instead of Webb, instead of Plattner. But this guy, Troy Jackson, has his

00:25:51.860 own troubles. As we reported to you back when his name first surfaced as a possible replacement for

00:25:58.680 Webb, there is an ex-account called Progressive Victory that tweeted out that he, several years

00:26:06.720 ago in a heated disagreement with a colleague struck her with a bottle he threw at her and they

00:26:14.160 went after him saying this can't be a replacement for graham platner it's like out of the frying

00:26:20.360 pan and into the fire like we don't want to upgrade from someone who didn't give didn't 0.99

00:26:27.900 didn't get consent with his girlfriend before having sex with her to someone who's whipping 0.99

00:26:32.240 beer bottles at female colleagues and hitting them. So that's a no. But now, in the wake of 0.98

00:26:39.740 the Ashley Webb debacle, here's what Progressive Victory is tweeting now. When we received the

00:26:46.460 information about Troy Jackson, our fear was that the left was about to accidentally rally

00:26:51.380 behind another potential monster. We panicked and spread unverified allegations in a post about

00:26:58.080 Troy Jackson that has rightfully received criticism. We agree with many of you that we

00:27:03.800 acted in a manner that was irresponsible and inappropriate. I don't think that that's exactly

00:27:13.340 a denial. That doesn't sound like a full retraction or even a denial. And I'm sure there

00:27:20.580 will be some intrepid reporters now, probably from publications on the right, that are going

00:27:26.180 to take a deep dive into Troy Jackson and see whether the first report was the true one.

00:27:31.980 Because Progressive Victory had tweeted this when they tweeted out that information about

00:27:36.380 hitting a woman with a bottle that he threw at her. Quote, they said, we began asking our

00:27:41.840 contacts on the ground in Maine about Troy Jackson earlier today. And they said that multiple people

00:27:48.140 told him this, that it basically is implying it was an open secret in Maine. So let's see,

00:27:53.860 because right now they're not saying we regret the erroneous report. We're saying it was

00:27:59.720 irresponsible and inappropriate of us to post it, and we spread an unverified allegation.

00:28:06.760 That's not the same as saying it's not true and we retract it. So that's going to be their 0.91

00:28:13.240 candidate in Maine, Troy Jackson, and we shall see how Troy Jackson does. He's on his way.

00:28:22.540 Meantime, the operatives who helped make Graham Plattner a thing are coming under scrutiny

00:28:29.560 because, frankly, they just shat the bed so badly that a lot of Democrats are looking

00:28:35.120 at them like, should we allow these people to have anything to do with our party ever

00:28:39.180 again?

00:28:40.540 There's one guy, his name, Daniel Marath.

00:28:46.000 He was educated at Brown University and Yale Law School.

00:28:49.640 His grandfather was the founder of the predecessor business of Toys R Us.

00:28:54.160 This is all outlined in a Politico piece that's pretty interesting is up today.

00:28:59.060 And he had described Meraf when he was pitching Plattner as the candidate as a cross between a rugged JFK and Bernie Sanders.

00:29:07.000 Sadly for them, that JFK analogy proved to be very true.

00:29:10.460 Hailing him as one of the most talented politicians of our time, maybe any time. 0.58

00:29:15.340 They were so excited to find somebody who had actual testosterone.

00:29:17.880 They didn't know what to do with themselves.

00:29:18.960 That's me, not Politico. The email, which was obtained by Politico, carried the subject line,

00:29:23.620 I think this guy is going to be president. Then there was a guy named Morris Katz. He's a Zora

00:29:30.580 Mamdani guy who's 27 years old and an ad maker who alerted his fellow Democrats. We found a model 1.00

00:29:38.560 here to win over working class voters. Find a guy that looks like he's a union working class guy

00:29:44.560 and put him forward. So how'd that work out for you people? Because now you are in tatters and

00:29:52.800 it certainly looks like you are going to be stuck with this guy who may or may not have thrown and

00:30:00.160 hit a woman with the projectile bottle not too long ago, or I don't know, some years ago. Either

00:30:08.740 him or Ashley Webb, whose real name is James Charles, James Charles Webb. And if you decide

00:30:17.620 to go with James Charles Webb, or even by engaging in the fiction that this person could possibly

00:30:23.880 represent Maine in the United States Senate, here's a little news update for you on the latest

00:30:32.980 from the transgender community, which our audience knows is not the best adjusted community.

00:30:38.740 um they're really not all that well together as a rule might be some individual exceptions on a

00:30:44.980 case-by-case basis but there's an overwhelming percentage of people who suffer or claim to

00:30:51.920 suffer from this problem the vast majority of whom are males who are working out their sexual fetish

00:30:58.140 on us um that leads to a hair trigger and we've seen in too many instances turns them into actual 0.60

00:31:06.340 trigger men. But the latest example comes out of Florida. Now, this thing happened in 2025,

00:31:13.340 but for some reason is just now hitting the internet now. And here's what happened.

00:31:19.840 It was in Florida. It led to the arrest of a male student at the University of Central Florida

00:31:26.320 down there. I'm going to show you the video in one second. But the video shows police approaching

00:31:31.960 two students, one of whom is the student identified in arrest records. His name is

00:31:37.900 Jarrett Preston Vick, 26 years old. It's kind of old for a student. Maybe he's a grad student.

00:31:45.260 And the cops were approaching these students as part of their investigation into a reported

00:31:50.660 car theft on the Orlando campus. No word that this guy actually committed the car theft. That

00:31:57.420 wasn't one of the charges that would wind up resulting from this encounter. But the cops had

00:32:01.760 a legitimate reason to be there. They were trying to do their business, um, conduct an investigation

00:32:06.900 and they had the unfortunate experience of running across Jarrett Preston Vick. Watch this.

00:32:15.300 What's the problem? Why do you let those kids get away with this? They are not supposed to be here. 1.00

00:32:22.480 If you don't lower your voice, I am going to put handcuffs on you and I'm going to take you to a

00:32:27.700 Baker Act facility. Lower your voice. Fucking try it. Are you threatening me? You're threatening me. Are you threatening me? Because I'm here right now to deal with a stolen vehicle. I ain't got time to hear you screaming and yelling. I don't have time to constantly be abused. We'll get we'll get OPD down here then because I got to I got to work with a stolen vehicle. What do you mean OPD? Alpha 73 University.

00:32:53.380 Can we get another unit to deal with um Jay Lee here he is having a breakdown?

00:33:01.380 Say!

00:33:02.380 Say!

00:33:03.380 Just say the right pronoun!

00:33:06.380 What did you say?

00:33:07.380 73 51 or 73 51.

00:33:09.380 Get down on the ground right now. 0.95

00:33:10.380 No! 1.00

00:33:11.380 No please!

00:33:12.380 You're about to get sprayed.

00:33:13.380 No just let it go!

00:33:14.380 Get down on the ground right now. 1.00

00:33:15.380 Get away!

00:33:16.380 You don't tell me where to go.

00:33:18.380 Let me stop. 1.00

00:33:19.380 Fuck you! 1.00

00:33:20.380 Fuck you cop! 1.00

00:33:22.380 I want to be away from you. 1.00

00:33:26.380 No, it's too late now.

00:33:28.380 He's going to be taken away.

00:33:30.380 Jaylene, you need to stop.

00:33:32.380 She's taken.

00:33:34.380 I just want to get away from him. 0.98

00:33:38.380 She! 0.67

00:33:40.380 She! 1.00

00:33:42.380 She! 1.00

00:33:44.380 Stop! 1.00

00:33:46.380 Get on the ground right now.

00:33:48.380 Don't hurt me.

00:33:50.380 Okay. So this person was ultimately charged with several offenses related to that

00:34:20.360 behavior, disorderly, resisting arrest, and is very, very angry that the police will not call

00:34:29.120 him by his so-called preferred pronouns. But the policeman was dealing in reality and he was

00:34:35.620 clearly faced with a, just like Ashley Webb, another hulking, deranged man posing as a woman,

00:34:43.220 demanding that he be recognized as one of us. Well, I'm proud to say you're not one of us.

00:34:48.820 You'll never be one of us. And frankly, you're doing a piss poor job of pretending to be one of

00:34:54.660 us. His hair looked like a like one of those wigs you would get if you ordered rocker, you know,

00:35:03.400 like 70s rocker, 80s rocker off of Amazon, just pointing in every direction, covering his face.

00:35:12.300 And frankly, I can see why he wants to do that. He's not dressed like a woman. He just wants this 0.98

00:35:17.980 police officer to know that in his heart he is one, and then to call him she. And thank God that

00:35:24.380 cop operates in Ron DeSantis' Florida and understood full well that Florida is a free state

00:35:29.800 and a reality-based state, and that he would not be in any trouble for sticking to reality

00:35:35.740 with that lunatic who was prancing around the Florida campus bothering God knows whom. 0.70

00:35:44.420 Look, here's his mugshot. All male, obviously, and a pathetic excuse for one of those as well. 1.00

00:35:52.220 But think about it. Kids in Florida are going to school with this lunatic who can't hold a ticket. 1.00

00:35:57.280 Can you imagine being this guy's professor or colleague in the university setting?

00:36:01.820 Or what if, per se, that person decided to run for and possibly even win a position into the U.S. Congress?

00:36:10.340 We do have one in the House of Representatives.

00:36:13.400 I just think the Senate remains too august a body to ever go this far.

00:36:19.820 But I could be proven wrong.

00:36:21.460 Maisie Hirono is there. 1.00

00:36:22.840 She's an idiot. 1.00

00:36:24.260 But idiot is one thing and like absolute deranged lunatic is another. 1.00

00:36:27.840 So I don't think it'll happen for Ashley Webb. 0.99

00:36:30.060 And I urge the voters in the main Democratic contest to consider this case down in Florida

00:36:36.480 before you go any further.

00:36:38.620 as if the blood coming out of the anus is actually my period weren't enough. Okay, 0.73

00:36:46.300 there you have an extra. There is, you know, some interesting information on

00:36:52.500 the upcoming midterm elections, which is what this is all about. Everybody's trying to like

00:36:58.460 shore up their chances from Maine on down. And Harry Enten, the CNN data analyst,

00:37:05.040 gave us a little update on the generic ballot looking ahead to November. Take a listen to this

00:37:11.400 in Sot Zero. So the numbers show what, Harry? They show a big, uh-oh, worry sign, at least

00:37:18.340 compared to history, because I want to take it back through the history machine. I want to note,

00:37:23.040 OK, House National July, CNBC, Washington Post poll average midterm years. This is the generic

00:37:28.860 ballot, right? Where were we back in 2006 when, of course, Democrats would go back on to win the

00:37:34.060 House. They were up by 12 in an average of those two polls. How about 2018? They were up by an

00:37:38.560 average of 10 in those two polls. Look at where that average is now. Well less than half of either

00:37:44.500 the level of 2018 and 2006. Way down there. Yes, they're ahead, but they're ahead. I have to shrink

00:37:50.420 down on the screen. They're ahead by only four points, which is significantly less than what we

00:37:54.680 saw in 2018 and 2006 when Democrats took back the House. So as I said, this is an uh-oh. This is a

00:38:00.720 warning sign. Well, yes, Democrats are ahead not by anywhere near the margin they were in prior

00:38:05.720 wave years. OK, that's because they're so crazy. The Republican Party is not popular right now. 0.97

00:38:13.860 The around war is not popular and it's ramping back up. People are voting most of the time based

00:38:20.040 on their pocketbook issues. And President Trump's approval numbers there are in the toilet. So why

00:38:27.920 would the Democrats only be four points ahead? You'd think they'd be crushing the GOP, right?

00:38:33.320 Well, they're not because of themselves, because of them. They're cray-cray. I mean, I've been

00:38:42.200 saying this for months now. It's like, you know, I've made the analogy of like, you're looking at

00:38:48.020 your spouse and your spouse has put on like 75 pounds and was sitting on the couch, shoving

00:38:53.120 potato chips into their mouth, like a little drool coming down and won't help out around the

00:38:58.280 house. And you feel like you're doing everything and maybe your eye starts to wander. Like maybe,

00:39:04.140 oh, okay, hey, look at this person. They're looking pretty hot. They dress nicely. They

00:39:07.980 have a good job. They care about their presentation. And bam, they tell you that

00:39:11.960 they want to chop off little kids' body parts. Hard no. That's the position voters are in right 1.00

00:39:18.840 now looking at the slothful Republicans, but then taking a look, you know, about possibly cheating

00:39:25.480 on them. And you've got true loons out there on the outside and voters are onto them. I mean,

00:39:32.120 they saw how lunatic they were back in 2024. And it's actually funny because that political 0.73

00:39:38.160 article I was telling you about, about Kamala Harris goes into how now her people have convinced

00:39:43.380 themselves and her that while they really thought that, you know, she's for they, them, Trump's for

00:39:49.780 you ad was devastating at the time. They changed their views on that. And it was really all about

00:39:56.120 the fact that she had too short a time. That's really, that's what did it. It wasn't her

00:40:01.760 positions on the issues like trans. So great. I mean, again, this bodes very well for the GOP.

00:40:07.020 This is a dream, frankly, for them.

00:40:10.560 And you've got this Democratic Socialists of America group that we've been telling you

00:40:15.100 about that wants to eliminate the U.S. Senate, the Pentagon, funding for all police, all

00:40:21.120 jails.

00:40:22.360 I mean, we could go on. 0.99

00:40:23.080 It's truly crazy shit, but they're growing. 0.99

00:40:26.180 They're growing in popularity, at least among the left. 0.99

00:40:30.520 And there's the New York Democratic Socialists of America chair.

00:40:34.160 This is a group, by the way, we saw them in Times Square on 10-8 after the attack on Israel on 10-7.

00:40:43.320 I mean, on 10-8, when we were still fielding the videotapes of women with their bloodied pants thanks to attacks on them.

00:40:54.160 Yes, there were rapes of Israeli women.

00:40:56.240 the murders we saw all over Israel of elderly women, of children, of innocent theater or

00:41:04.920 concert goers, male and female, the torture that they were subjected to cheering. There was the

00:41:10.140 DSA that was in the middle of Times Square cheering and pulling down posters of the hostages, 1.00

00:41:15.600 including babies, toddlers, fucking vile. Okay. So this is a disgusting group that really should 1.00

00:41:23.120 be nowhere near power, but they're winning. And their chair, Gustavo Gordillo, went on Fox News,

00:41:30.720 which is kind of interesting. And here is, well, a little bit of what he said. Here's

00:41:37.220 SOT16. Let's start with that one. The problem we're facing in our housing system is that we

00:41:43.600 talk about tenants and we say they have to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

00:41:48.880 They have to be responsible financially. But when we look at the landlords, we don't we don't use those same standards.

00:41:57.100 Landlords in New York have been making a 12 percent return on their investment for on average.

00:42:03.020 Should they make? What's fair for the landlord to make if you don't like 12?

00:42:06.700 They're complaining that 12 is not enough. And we don't think that anyone should have a constitutional right to double digit returns on their investment.

00:42:14.480 That's why we've implemented. No one should have a right to a double digit return on their

00:42:18.920 investment. No one has a right. That's not. No, no, no one's in that. That's not in the

00:42:23.040 Constitution. But we what we see is that when we implement a rent freeze, we have landlords who are

00:42:28.640 crying that the government is going to put them out of business and they're trying to do it

00:42:35.040 effectively. No, you know, are all landlords perfect or some landlords lousy? Of course they

00:42:41.160 are. But I just think that the idea that no one should make a double digit profit is the antithesis

00:42:48.020 of the desire to like you can be anything you want to be in New York. Yeah, in America.

00:42:56.480 That's right. But this little man with the ponytail and the weird facial hair would like 0.99

00:43:01.100 to dictate how much you can make on your business if you're a landlord. He'll decide. This is right

00:43:07.180 back to Barack Obama, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money. This is right

00:43:12.540 back to his exchange with Joe the plumber, remember? And how, yeah, you've made enough

00:43:18.820 money and you didn't build that. You didn't build that. You built your business, you didn't really

00:43:24.420 build that. You owe the government still. I was just thinking about this on the death tax. It's

00:43:31.560 like, you earn money, you pay taxes on that money, then you get to put it in your bank account.

00:43:39.420 If you want to pass it down to your children upon your death, they have to pay a massive death tax

00:43:45.660 on it just for receiving that same money that you've already paid taxes on. And depending on

00:43:50.120 your tax bracket, you may have spent as many as 50%, as much as 50% on your taxes. So you lost

00:43:57.200 half your money that you earned you paid that because you didn't build that in other words you

00:44:02.920 did pay for the highways and the bridges and the maintenance of your fellow americans you really

00:44:07.320 had no choice but you did it if you were honest um and if you're not a new york real estate baron

00:44:12.540 not just trump i told you but this other guy i knew he was a big real estate guy who said his

00:44:17.000 father would roll over in his grave if he found out that the son had paid one dollar in taxes 0.99

00:44:20.740 they find a way to claim these huge losses so they don't have to pay anything it's chumps like you

00:44:25.200 and me who are salaried employees, and I am too, thanks to my business, that get stuck paying the

00:44:34.100 full boat, that don't have all these weird fake write-offs to diminish our income, and we have to

00:44:41.100 pay basically half of our salary to the government. And you do that. And then when you die and you

00:44:45.420 want to leave it to your kids, they have to pay another half. So they get 25% of what you'd want

00:44:51.980 to give them in what you originally took in it's just outrageous and it's because the guys like

00:44:55.980 this who are already in command it's because the democrats that we have a huge death tax and huge

00:44:59.940 taxes and so on um because they never think they've taxed you enough ever ever and that guy

00:45:06.140 who i guarantee you has accomplished nothing in his life um nothing in terms of business and never

00:45:12.260 signed the front of a paycheck as opposed to the back as an employee who wants to decide um how

00:45:18.800 much you can make as, as a, as a New York city landlord. And by the way, things in New York

00:45:24.640 under his fellow Democrat socialist Zoran Mamdani are not going well at all. When I lived in

00:45:33.040 Manhattan, I lived in the upper West side. We were constantly on the West side highway. That's the

00:45:36.800 main thoroughfare that you take to get from the North to the South. If you live on the West side,

00:45:40.660 On the east side, it's the FDR. And I was steps away from that. And my child's school was steps

00:45:48.800 away from that. And now for, what is the block radius? It is roughly 12 blocks from 34th Street

00:45:58.360 up to 46th Street, which is right by where, I mean, so many people live on the West Side Highway,

00:46:06.060 right, just off of there, they have a huge homeless encampment. Huge. It's turned into a

00:46:12.180 tent city. And it's sprawling, according to Fox News, reporting that, yeah, it stretches nearly

00:46:19.980 12 blocks, that the city has done very little to address it. It's full of tents, trash, and reported

00:46:27.540 illegal activity. And take a listen to this soundbite. It aired on Fox just days ago with

00:46:34.040 the people in New York, this is overwhelmingly Democratic, and I guarantee you a large collection

00:46:39.040 of the New Yorkers interviewed, voted for Zoram Mamdani because they want to change,

00:46:45.120 maybe even hope and change. And instead, they got homeless encampments with trash and illegal

00:46:50.120 activity everywhere. Listen to how they're reacting. And it's just getting worse.

00:46:54.580 Apartment buildings keep going up. You know, people paying good rent to live in this neighborhood

00:46:59.100 and it's terrible. Drugs, prostitution and everything else in between.

00:47:05.100 I'm a tourist here in New York and I'm disappointed how the government failed to support homeless people.

00:47:14.100 It's sad that they're not getting support how they promised them.

00:47:20.100 Make this a better place for everyone, make it a better place for tourists.

00:47:26.100 We have enough problems bringing people from overseas into the United States. 1.00

00:47:31.700 It seems like it's an unfriendly place to be. 1.00

00:47:34.860 This is not a great look.

00:47:36.860 I think they got to clean them up.

00:47:38.700 They got to keep on top of the seven day stuff or whatever it is now is really not working.

00:47:43.980 And they they just need to keep cleaning up.

00:47:48.680 I mean, I hope you like it because you're going to be getting a whole lot more of it

00:47:52.140 as this radical group takes over the Democrat party.

00:47:56.620 That's why.

00:47:58.140 That's one of the many reasons why

00:47:59.720 those Harry Anton numbers are so bad for Dems.

00:48:03.780 The gender issue, the embrace of the far left DSA.

00:48:09.040 Who would vote for a party 0.52

00:48:09.960 that wants to get rid of all prisons and cops 0.88

00:48:12.080 and the Senate and the Pentagon?

00:48:14.260 I mean, like, who, just like, victims here, victims here.

00:48:19.400 That's really the messaging that they're going for. 0.97

00:48:22.140 So, I mean, look, Republicans need to get their shit together, but that should provide some comfort on those, you know, cold nights leading up to early November when they're getting very worried about the historical trend of the party in power losing and losing mightily.

00:48:41.140 um there's one other that i want to show you and that is well i don't know if we have time well 0.97

00:48:47.180 let's stick with this dsa guy gustavo gordillo who also said the following to martha mccallum

00:48:52.800 stop 15. how does the government become more democratized if the government takes over more

00:48:58.700 of the power so for example here in new york if you have government-owned grocery stores right

00:49:05.520 In what world does it make sense to build a $30 million grocery store and put competitive pressure on the bodegas that are in the neighborhood?

00:49:14.420 I think that what we saw in the mayoral campaign is the mayor was able to build a movement that inspired people to believe that we could have a government that works for ordinary people, that is actually responsive to the working class.

00:49:28.380 Inspiration is great. But if you're the bodega owner, how would you feel if the government

00:49:32.880 opened a big grocery store right next to your bodega? If one publicly owned grocery store that

00:49:40.100 brings prices down in the neighborhood is enough to put someone out of business, then maybe they

00:49:46.380 shouldn't have been in that business in the first place. OK, the bodega operators. Now, that's.

00:49:52.260 is this the hope and change Zora Mamdani ran on?

00:49:57.180 We're talking about these small kiosks

00:50:00.100 and in some instances, storefronts that have,

00:50:03.220 just like you've seen it if you've gone to New York,

00:50:05.000 just like a little hot bar

00:50:06.220 where you get like sweet and sour chicken

00:50:08.420 or something like that,

00:50:09.140 or in the bodega and the sort of the kiosks

00:50:11.240 that are around,

00:50:12.100 those are gonna be wiped out by these government stores.

00:50:14.160 And this is progress.

00:50:15.940 It's better if the money goes to the man

00:50:18.560 than to the mom and pop shops

00:50:20.960 that are actually supporting families with their grocery sales. It's not what they promised,

00:50:27.420 of course, because as we know from history, socialism never works. That's why it gets

00:50:35.340 rejected every time it's tried, as every young person with stars in their eyes eventually learns,

00:50:41.760 in some instances, the hard way. We'll be right back with Sonny Hostet.

00:50:46.000 You might already own a firearm, but what if you could start with less lethal methods

00:50:51.660 to avoid the financial and mental repercussions of pulling the trigger?

00:50:56.400 Wouldn't you like to have the full arsenal of self-defense tools available to you?

00:51:01.800 That's where Burna comes in. 0.95

00:51:03.500 That's B-Y-R-N-A. 0.93

00:51:05.420 Burna's less lethal launchers are equipped with tear gas and kinetic ammo and designed

00:51:11.000 to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.

00:51:14.860 And Berna is excited to introduce the all-new Compact Launcher.

00:51:18.060 It is sleek, slim, and hits like a sledgehammer.

00:51:21.620 The same size as a smartphone, allowing women to conceal carry everywhere comfortably and

00:51:27.080 with confidence. 0.59

00:51:28.180 It fires at 400 feet per second.

00:51:30.560 That's a lot of power to stop aggressors in their tracks.

00:51:33.240 Their pistols are American-made and hand-assembled in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with over 80% of the

00:51:38.480 components in the Compact Launcher being sourced in the USA.

00:51:42.580 Burna is legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks, and can be shipped directly

00:52:30.920 we've got a lot going on for you here still i i got a lot of i want to say about a couple

00:52:38.380 subjects here. All right. We've got on the subject of politics before we leave and New York City and

00:52:45.240 how crazy these Democrats are. Zora Mamdani has decided a good person to screen who can make it 0.61

00:52:53.840 onto the New York City bench. The judges in New York would be Cynthia Nixon, because Cynthia 1.00

00:53:03.880 Nixon has a lot of experience as a lawyer. Oh, wait, that was a character she played on TV. 1.00

00:53:10.520 She's not a lawyer. She's never been a lawyer. She doesn't know jack about the law. And yet

00:53:16.840 she would be the appropriate screener for who can make it on the bench in New York City. 0.95

00:53:24.020 Maybe she's gotten less crazy. Maybe she's just turned into a reasonable person whose opinion

00:53:28.260 might no no here she is with her make make abortion great again hat remember when this

00:53:35.860 came out we thought it must be ai did not believe this could possibly be real but it is

00:53:40.540 she really wants abortion to be great um and here she is thanks to president trump

00:53:47.140 and the penalties that he and rfkj have threatened on these health care facilities

00:53:51.780 when it comes to their medicare payments and otherwise and they're as a result their reversals

00:53:56.660 on performing these trans surgeries, so thanks to the Trump administration, God bless them, 0.99

00:54:01.820 many of these hospitals have stopped doing it because they don't give a shit about these 0.99

00:54:06.420 kids. They want to pretend that they care about trans youth. They want money. They want money. 0.99

00:54:11.680 And once the cost became too great to perform these surgeries, like they care about their 0.68

00:54:17.320 Medicare payments a hell of a lot more than they care about their trans payments, even though the

00:54:20.460 latter are lucrative, but not as much as Medicare, the services started drying up. They stopped

00:54:26.080 offering them. And Cynthia Nixon, who prides herself on having like, I don't know, three kids, 1.00

00:54:30.720 all of whom are queer in some way, trans or gay or what have you. It's like, it's a you problem, 0.97

00:54:35.840 madam, reacted when asked about the fact that NYU, a great university and great hospital where I

00:54:44.300 have been many times, my children and their arrival into this world,

00:54:51.000 that they've stopped performing these surgeries. Watch this. It's not 17.

00:54:56.080 Most importantly, I am here today as the mother of a proud trans man. 1.00

00:55:04.480 That means fake. 0.99

00:55:07.080 I am here today as the aunt of a proud trans man.

00:55:14.080 My best friend's kid is trans.

00:55:17.680 And my kid's best friend is trans.

00:55:21.160 My trans kid had his top surgery at NYU a number of years ago.

00:55:31.720 His doctors were fantastic.

00:55:35.040 His surgeon was the best we could have imagined.

00:55:39.180 And the idea that this city is filled with young people

00:55:44.740 who thought they had a place to go where they could receive the highest care

00:55:50.300 and that place has now been shut to them,

00:55:53.320 sickens me, sickens me to my core.

00:55:58.380 So just imagine, if you would, for a minute,

00:56:01.220 the kind of screening questions 0.84

00:56:02.780 that Cynthia Nixon will be asking 0.97

00:56:04.860 potential judicial nominees.

00:56:08.240 And I realize it's not her fault.

00:56:09.480 Zora Mamdani would be placing any radical in this position.

00:56:12.940 She just happens to be the one he named.

00:56:14.380 He's the radical.

00:56:15.360 It's his election that we need to have the problem with.

00:56:17.840 But, I mean, it's as bad as we thought.

00:56:19.440 between the homeless encampments, the objection to bodega owners being able to make a living,

00:56:26.900 just the nonstop problems across New York, the sex workers who are now all over the West Side

00:56:34.260 Highway servicing homeless in their tents. Yes, that was part of the report. Absolutely disgusting

00:56:40.120 imagery. And now this nutcase deciding who's going to be on the bench deciding cases. I mean, 0.94

00:56:47.240 it's just, it's as bad as we thought it would be. Back to presidential politics. Want to check in

00:56:54.160 on Joe Biden as we have been over the past few weeks. Again, they wanted us to believe this man

00:56:59.120 could be president right now. They wanted him to have access to the nuclear football right now.

00:57:04.600 A couple of weeks ago, well, I guess a month or two ago now at this point, Jill Biden launched

00:57:09.580 her book that shot right up to the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list only

00:57:14.760 to fall off into oblivion because it was bulk sales and she purchased her audience. No one has

00:57:19.520 actual organic interest in Jill Biden, but she had an event at the 92nd street. Why in New York?

00:57:25.240 And we showed you the tape in part. Well, now the full tape has come out of when Joe Biden stood up

00:57:30.140 at the end of the event, which was moderated by Whoopi Goldberg and spoke to her like a toddler.

00:57:36.820 and she spoke right back to him like a toddler and it's even more disturbing than the short clip

00:57:45.060 revealed now i don't generally like to go over the same sound bites more than once because

00:57:51.160 it's a waste of your time but i actually do want to show this longer version of this clip because

00:57:56.500 it's just it's disturbing that's what it is forget the lies we were told it's just disturbing

00:58:03.380 the exploitation of this man that his own family was doing and was perfectly happy to continue

00:58:08.600 doing. And by the way, it's the same team, some of them at least, who are still at the top of

00:58:15.840 the Democratic pyramid, who are still running messaging for the Dems. And I'm sure a lot of

00:58:22.520 them will emerge as we get going again after these midterms in presidential politics, maybe not on

00:58:27.960 behalf of Kamala, because those two camps don't think much of each other reportedly, but on behalf

00:58:31.540 with somebody. Um, but listen, watch this. Joe has a question. Like you couldn't ask it later.

00:58:42.280 Who do you love most in the whole world?

00:58:44.080 Fake doctor. Who do you love most?

00:58:50.520 And so I'm, I'm going to do the last. No.

00:58:58.740 i love you most joe is that it is that the answer he wanted yes

00:59:07.440 overwhelming well that's what keeps him on his toes he's never 100 sure i always keep him guessing

00:59:16.280 is that not true so the last thing i have to say is i please remind people to pick up

00:59:23.480 Now I know it says books 0.99

00:59:26.120 Oh yeah, gooks 1.00

00:59:27.960 It looks like gooks 1.00

00:59:28.920 I'm thinking, what are gooks? 1.00

00:59:32.820 But I'm going to remind them 1.00

00:59:34.500 But I'm to remind people

00:59:36.740 To pick up books on your way out

00:59:39.100 The name of the book

00:59:40.620 Is The View from the East Wing

00:59:42.720 And that concludes

00:59:45.040 Our conversation

00:59:46.880 Thank you so much

00:59:53.480 And I know it's going to be.

00:59:56.220 Still.

00:59:59.600 She's doing it for one thing.

01:00:04.520 My book.

01:00:06.600 Sir.

01:00:11.120 My book, which comes out in September.

01:00:16.060 Do I have to remind them this is my event?

01:00:23.480 The only thing Jill does better than right, she's a beautiful woman.

01:00:28.020 I mean, it's so uncomfortable. 0.99

01:00:33.260 He's a dirty old man, by the way. 0.97

01:00:35.340 Like, if they had let that roll two minutes longer, we would have been getting that image of her in a bikini again that he keeps bringing up. 0.99

01:00:42.220 I mean, I'm happy that they still have attraction for one another.

01:00:44.800 Don't get me wrong.

01:00:45.760 It's inappropriate for him to keep talking about her like that publicly.

01:00:48.320 but the way she speaks to him is i think i think we're crossing over into like you know

01:00:56.520 kindergarten teacher who's pissed off at the disruptive toddler um in front of her like the

01:01:02.560 tone the the words the affect all of it to me projects she's annoyed she's annoyed she's

01:01:11.320 speaking down to him quite clearly um and just at the end like do i have to remind him of whose

01:01:17.060 event this is. She's genuinely annoyed he did that. My book. And it was rude. It was rude. I

01:01:22.400 mean, Doug would never do this to me. He's the author, not me. I've written one book, but Doug,

01:01:27.020 my husband, if I stood up at his event or if he would never talk down to me like that, he would

01:01:32.720 be happy to see the spotlight. But we would never speak to each other this way. And if I were ever

01:01:42.000 up there on stage. Doug would never be like, my book. I mean, would your spouse ever do this to

01:01:46.860 you? So he's lost his marbles. She's annoyed by it. There's like a seething resentment underneath

01:01:53.480 that tone, affect, and her willingness to treat him like a toddler publicly on that mic. I get

01:02:00.520 that he's become one, but he's still your spouse and the former commander-in-chief. She can't,

01:02:07.000 she doesn't respect him. I mean, neither do we, but like that's different. We're not married.

01:02:12.000 And it's just incredible, the fraud that that family tried to pull on us.

01:02:16.820 These Democrats should never be trusted again.

01:02:18.420 The media that enabled them should never be trusted again.

01:02:21.200 They literally thought this guy could be in charge of the nuclear football right now.

01:02:26.300 Right now.

01:02:27.880 It makes me angry when I see him that way.

01:02:30.840 It makes me angry of how he was taken advantage of by his family.

01:02:33.140 It makes me angry that they offered him up to the American people in a fraudulent manner

01:02:37.640 with an entire media complex working to cover up the truth from us to gaslight us on the cheap 0.96

01:02:45.140 fakes and all that bullshit these same journalists are now asking you for their trust as we go into

01:02:50.000 the next round of heavy politics f them all right so that's biden enter don lemon speaking of the 0.98

01:02:58.880 gross democrats and enabling media who lied to us um don lemon's got thoughts about the next

01:03:05.840 presidential contest and how it might involve him watch political ambition is that true no but

01:03:12.840 people keep asking me if i'm running for president and i don't know i might i'm serious i don't know

01:03:16.840 i might because people keep asking me to do it um uh i actually think i would be a really good

01:03:21.920 president of the united states okay like you're you're being serious no i'm being totally serious

01:03:25.880 for the people to want me for the people to want me well then we're safe

01:03:32.500 he, this is like crazy. If you are in media, if you are in political commentary, you're going to

01:03:41.980 get a fair amount of people asking you that question. That is a reality of being at the

01:03:45.520 pointy end of the spear. It doesn't mean you actually have any chance, Don. Pro tip, it does

01:03:51.140 not mean you actually have any chance. A whole different host of considerations go in to who can

01:03:57.400 actually win. Nevermind who should try. And you are not on the list, either list. Not to say I

01:04:06.800 wouldn't enjoy covering it. So it's like a Kamala Harris situation. I don't want to discourage it.

01:04:11.520 I don't want to completely, you know, pop the balloon for him. But this is the delusion. This

01:04:16.780 is the narcissistic delusion that somebody like Don Lemon, who was on cable news for years in the

01:04:23.680 prime time at CNN operate under as we listen to him. And we actually, some treated him like an

01:04:28.920 authority. Uh, thank God those years are over. Here's more. This is, um, that one I think was

01:04:34.680 a week or two ago. Here's another one where he was on, um, the angry ladies podcast, right,

01:04:39.780 Steve? Is that where this one comes from? Uh, 10. Oh, it's the same one. Okay. It's a, it's a

01:04:45.860 podcast called can't be censored. And, um, he has some thoughts on MAGA. Cause I know you define

01:04:50.660 MAGA based on what Don Lemon thinks of it. Well, here's your answer. Saw 10.

01:04:55.500 MAGA is the closest thing to the modern version of a Nazi party. This is America's version. It's

01:05:01.240 the closest thing without the Holocaust and all that stuff. That sort of mindset. That's what 0.91

01:05:06.540 MAGA is because most intelligent people or logical people, when they get new information,

01:05:12.300 and if that information is negative or not factual, then they change their minds with,

01:05:18.060 Oh, well, I wish I had known better. And now that I have this information, then I can readjust. No matter what you, no matter how many facts and how much information you give him, you give them about this presidency, about the policies, they don't change their minds because they're really not voting for the price of eggs. They're voting for white supremacy.

01:05:42.080 again it's kind of like the joe biden situation cnn put him in the prime time of its lineup

01:05:53.020 as a straight well news anchor and wanted us to believe that this was an objective

01:06:00.140 journalist for all those years not only does he of course not like the right he hates he hates

01:06:10.440 the right. Hates it. He hates MAGA. He hates Trump voters. Hates them. They paraded him for years

01:06:20.120 as an objective journalist over there. And by the way, he's no different than 99% of the on-air

01:06:26.560 talent over at CNN. No different. If you think, you know, I don't want to name names, but any of

01:06:34.080 the talent over there right now has a warm spot in their hearts for any MAGA voters, of course,

01:06:39.180 you don't think that. But if you were to think that, you would be sorely disappointed to hear

01:06:42.900 them talk behind the scenes. It's just that Don Lemon has dropped the facade now. So let's see

01:06:48.220 if that's a winning campaign message for him, that the Republican Party are a bunch of Nazis now. 0.98

01:06:54.340 MAGA is a bunch of Nazis. It didn't seem to work out that well for Kamala Harris, 0.99

01:06:58.060 because it kind of was her campaign theme. And she was rejected just like Don Lemon would be. 0.97

01:07:03.340 Although you go, girl, you got, you got this. Now, um, Michelle Obama has been everywhere,

01:07:09.900 you know, trying to build her brand and try to build her very sad little podcast. And she showed

01:07:16.140 up at the essence festival and wanted to talk about a number of things, how aggrieved she is.

01:07:22.560 Yes, you know that. And also how amazing she is. So she's aggrieved and amazing. Those two things

01:07:28.720 always go hand in hand. She's incredible. People don't understand her. She's amazing. People are

01:07:34.080 racist. She's spectacular. She's got an annoying family, pain in the ass daughters. She's a great 0.74

01:07:41.660 wife, but she has an asshole husband. I mean, we could be here all day. Here's the latest 1.00

01:07:46.860 installment of America. You've disappointed me again. Sod 11. I remember the first big speech

01:07:54.760 i gave in iowa it was packed i mean i was pulling more crowds than most of barack's opponents but it

01:08:03.040 was interesting the more popular i became the more of a threat i became it was interesting that's when

01:08:12.600 the articles started coming out i had been campaigning for more than a year and then it was

01:08:18.700 this is when i understood like this is politics oh they're coming after me because i'm useful

01:08:24.960 and they're trying to beat my husband so they're trying to slow me down right and some of those

01:08:30.620 first articles they would always start she was wearing a purple sheath and she had on this pair

01:08:37.440 of shoes it wouldn't matter what i said kiki the article would start with what i had on wow and i 1.00

01:08:45.180 realized oh this is how they do women in politics this is how we treat women in public life we 0.93

01:08:53.180 diminish them to just what they look like and not what I'm saving now I'm giving impassionate

01:09:00.200 speeches I think people know now that I can give a speech that wasn't just that didn't just start

01:09:06.640 happening you know I was I was always really good on the campaign trail I was always a powerful

01:09:13.500 order oh my god she is dripping in narcissism a dripping in it would you at least feign some

01:09:24.760 humility i'm embarrassed for you you're actually not that great you're fine but you seem very

01:09:30.820 scripted and artificial to me if i'm honest you don't speak from the heart it didn't you didn't

01:09:36.340 move me at all at the democratic national convention you felt a little recycled and tired

01:09:40.300 if I'm being honest. But just listen to her. Oh, I was powerful. And that didn't just start

01:09:47.640 happening. I was powerful from the start. Let me tell you something, Michelle. The reason they

01:09:53.620 wrote about your fashion is because, yes, you're a woman. It wasn't to diminish you. They do it to 0.98

01:09:59.060 every female politician, and it's not to diminish them. It's because it's interesting. It's part of 1.00

01:10:04.880 your look. It's part of your messaging. They would do it to men, too, if men dress differently from

01:10:10.120 one another, but they don't. They all look the same. They all have Navy suits on with red ties.

01:10:15.060 It's not interesting, or we would cover it. When your husband wore that tan suit,

01:10:19.820 we wrote about it. Oh, that was our racism. I forgot. No, if a politician dresses in a different

01:10:25.520 way, in a way that catches our attention, we as the media, we will write about it. We'll cover it,

01:10:30.200 but they never do. They'll all look like carbon copies of one another when it comes to fashion,

01:10:34.320 so it's boring. But the women do tend to take more risks, and then it gets more interesting. 1.00

01:10:40.780 It's fun to talk about. It's yet another item about them that's expressive, that says something 0.50

01:10:46.180 as we try to get to know them or the spouse of a politician. So fuck off with this grievance 1.00

01:10:52.000 nonsense. You're not aggrieved. It doesn't make anybody a misogynist. It's just something about 1.00

01:10:57.900 you that caught the eye of people who are bored and need to fill magazines or newspaper copy,

01:11:03.420 etc. Stop making everything an attack on you, you thin-skinned person. It's just ridiculous.

01:11:13.420 And by the way, if she's so upset about our focus on her fashion, why did she pose for Vogue 0.75

01:11:18.400 four times on its cover? Why did she just do a whole book about fashion? Why didn't she release

01:11:24.860 a book on my policy prescriptions for 2026 America? Where's that? She wants to be known

01:11:32.280 for her fashion, but it has to be on her terms. You see, she wants us to reign with style goddess 1.00

01:11:37.400 she is for us to admire her bold colors in her, you know, fall palette. But God forbid we just do 0.99

01:11:44.540 that because our eyes brought us there that we're racist or we're misogynist or we're trying to

01:11:50.660 diminish her. She finds grievance in everything. This is what poor Barack has been dealing with

01:11:58.120 for 20, 30 years now. I mean, no wonder the guy is so gray, so prematurely. No wonder the girls

01:12:04.860 fled the coop and you never see pictures really with the four of them. I'm sure they're so happy

01:12:09.000 to be rid of this nonstop negativity, negative Nelly all the time. Um, and you know, like the

01:12:16.560 self aggrandizement with the, the aggrieved nature. And so, but not for nothing, we did go back just

01:12:23.300 to see like, what were they saying about her fashion at that time? Well, I was there, I was

01:12:27.240 on the air, I remember she, she was beloved, beloved by the press, maybe some mild criticism

01:12:35.240 over on Fox, but even the folks over on Fox and I was there, they were afraid to criticize her

01:12:39.680 as she was the black woman. She's the spouse of this rising black star Democrat of the, you know, 0.97

01:12:45.780 star of the Democrat party. And there was hesitance to go after her because, you know,

01:12:53.220 people are afraid.

01:12:55.460 So she did not get it hard.

01:12:56.820 Are you kidding me?

01:12:57.600 Like, she didn't get it anywhere near as hard

01:12:59.140 as Sarah Palin got it.

01:13:01.640 But here's what was written about her.

01:13:03.980 All right, I'm gonna,

01:13:04.760 I looked up some headlines from 2007.

01:13:07.620 Here's Vogue.

01:13:08.800 Now, Vogue is a fashion magazine.

01:13:11.640 They, you would expect them,

01:13:13.460 this is August 2007.

01:13:15.880 All right, it's a year before her husband

01:13:18.000 will win the presidency.

01:13:20.660 And you would think Vogue 0.98

01:13:22.540 would be leading with whatever her fashion was since we were all so obsessed with it according 0.96

01:13:26.720 to her here's the lead line iowa in spring a full nine months before the primaries but michelle 0.98

01:13:33.760 obama is already at work on her husband's behalf the setting the chit and chat coffee shop in

01:13:39.980 waukee population 9 213 percentage of population that is white okay here we go vogue 97.7 the

01:13:48.360 subject, values, hers and his. I married my husband, she tells the crowd, composed equally

01:13:54.300 of reporters and supporters, quote, because we share the same Midwestern values. Keep your word,

01:14:00.240 work hard, treat others with respect. Absolutely nothing about clothes. That's vogue. Nothing.

01:14:08.840 Talking about your values, an implication that the Midwest is too white and how hard you're

01:14:16.280 working. It doesn't really feel like a racist, misogynistic piece to me. Glamour. Again,

01:14:21.740 it's a women's magazine that's obsessed with fashion. By the way, the headline of that Vogue

01:14:26.500 piece was Michelle Obama, The Natural. The headline of the Glamour piece, Your Next First Lady,

01:14:32.580 question mark, lead line. I have to admit I was a little intimidated by Michelle Obama when I

01:14:37.400 first saw her. She was standing on the far side of a hotel conference room, and I got the impression

01:14:42.160 of a regal woman who has a model's height. She's five 11 and a classic understated chic. But then 1.00

01:14:49.380 she came forward, extended an endless arm and broke out her fat, her famous million dollar 1.00

01:14:55.420 smile, million watt smile. She gave me a big hug as if we were old girlfriends. And I felt as though 0.97

01:15:02.340 I'd known her forever. Okay. Where's the in-depth wardrobe commentary? I failed to meet to see it.

01:15:10.320 Were you offended by the passing reference to chic, which could mean anything?

01:15:14.600 Is that are you upset with glamour calling you chic?

01:15:18.380 As they said, you had a million watt smile and you look like a model and how radiant you were.

01:15:24.240 Is that part of the glamour's misogyny and or racism?

01:15:28.600 Michelle. April 2000.

01:15:33.380 Here's Stephen Colbert. Let's see what he had to say.

01:15:35.740 yeah let's listen wants to know they speculate on what kind of first lady a candidate's wife

01:15:41.600 might be and if you would forgive me in saying so i think you'd be jackie l okay because

01:15:49.440 and i hope i i hope i'm not out of place in saying this you're you're a very good looking lady well

01:15:59.640 well we found your misogynist we found him stephen colbert said you were good looking 0.60

01:16:12.640 and like jackie oh and by the way you're there in a short skirt showing off your legs with jackie

01:16:20.040 oh hair but that was because of our racism she would later tell us we were too racist 1.00

01:16:24.440 to have her wear her braids. 1.00

01:16:26.260 That's why she had to look like Jackie O. 1.00

01:16:28.580 So the only people we find making comments about your looks

01:16:33.260 are Stephen Colbert, who is a leftist,

01:16:38.680 a committed progressive, as we know.

01:16:40.280 So maybe that's what's in your head, Michelle.

01:16:43.220 Then here's one more for you, okay, before we move on.

01:16:46.560 2009, The Guardian. 0.88

01:16:49.120 America's new vogue for black fashion

01:16:52.160 is all due to Michelle Obama. 0.91

01:16:54.680 So here we find one,

01:16:56.100 a leftist publication

01:16:57.240 that wants to talk about fashion. 1.00

01:16:59.220 Her clothing choices fuel endless segments 1.00

01:17:01.980 on cable news 1.00

01:17:02.760 and countless column inches

01:17:03.880 in print and online.

01:17:05.580 An entire website, Mrs. O,

01:17:07.440 has been set up to catalog

01:17:08.760 every fashion move that Michelle makes.

01:17:11.720 When she chose a dress from Jason Wu

01:17:13.900 to be her inaugural gown,

01:17:15.900 it catapulted the designer

01:17:17.320 to overnight success.

01:17:19.160 Everyone is obsessed.

01:17:21.200 Quote, 1.00

01:17:21.400 she's got an innate sense of how she wants to look. It goes beyond clothes. Jackie O had it. 0.99

01:17:27.100 Princess Di had it. Michelle Obama has it, said Edward Ennenfall, a top stylist and fashion

01:17:33.400 director who works closely with the magazine. It probably helps that Laura Bush, who had Michelle's

01:17:39.160 job for the past eight years, definitely did not have it. Though Laura Bush remained popular even 1.00

01:17:45.400 has her husband plumbed the depths of national disdain. She was never adopted by the fashion

01:17:51.560 industry. She wore variations on the same homespun fashions for most of the decade.

01:17:57.940 So who has the right to be aggrieved in response to articles like that, Michelle? Is it you

01:18:02.980 or might it be Laura Bush? Did you get the worst end of that? Or do you think it was

01:18:08.520 the Republican first lady. I'm sorry, this woman is a lying sack of you know what. She's never seen 1.00

01:18:17.000 a situation in which she's not the victim, even though all the situations in which she most

01:18:23.620 feels victimized are in fact complimentary of her. I just, it's like a mental illness with 0.95

01:18:31.460 this person. You know, it's truly, it's like a vision disorder, like somebody who's, you know, 0.59

01:18:37.280 like if you're colorblind, you're looking at red, but it's actually green and you would swear to

01:18:40.980 the world that it's red, but everybody who's not colorblind can see that it's green and that

01:18:44.800 there's something wrong with your vision. She's got this. She sees every compliment as an insult,

01:18:50.520 every honor as an attack. Like there's something wrong with this woman and we need only open our 1.00

01:19:00.040 ears and hear her speak in order to know it's so. All right. Let's take a quick break. And when we 1.00

01:19:08.000 come back, we are going to get to Sonny Hostin and more. All right. Don't go away. Our sponsor,

01:19:13.400 the Electronic Payments Coalition, says Washington politicians are always getting into your wallet

01:19:18.220 and that now they're messing with your credit card. They say your credit card and the security

01:19:22.700 it offers are under attack and that Senators Dick Durbin and Roger Marshall want to change

01:19:28.100 the nation's payment system to benefit corporate megastores like Walmart and Target at the expense

01:19:33.720 of everyday Americans. Credit cards can keep your payments secure and provide rewards that families

01:19:39.100 use to help make everyday purchases more affordable. The Electronic Payments Coalition says

01:19:43.960 the Durbin Marshall mandates would let corporate megastores cut corners on credit card processing,

01:19:50.820 routing transactions over cheaper, untested networks with weaker security and fewer protections.

01:19:56.520 Find out more at guardyourcard.com

01:19:58.900 and consider telling Congress to guard your card.

01:20:03.140 High prices might be here to stay.

01:20:05.900 Gas, groceries, insurance, I mean, let's hope not,

01:20:08.480 but they might.

01:20:09.520 If you're a homeowner, you may have thought,

01:20:11.400 should I refinance to pay off this credit card debt

01:20:13.740 that I've amassed?

01:20:14.740 And then you second guess yourself

01:20:16.100 because of that low mortgage rate you currently have.

01:20:19.100 Listen, that low rate, it's not saving you

01:20:21.120 if you're drowning in credit card interest at 25% or more.

01:20:24.920 If you are only making minimum payments,

01:20:27.360 that debt can follow you for years.

01:20:29.600 And this is why people are calling American Financing

01:20:31.720 because they can save customers an average of $800 a month

01:20:35.020 by using equity to finally break free

01:20:37.460 from credit card debt.

01:20:39.100 No upfront fees, no pressure.

01:20:42.420 you may be able to delay two mortgage payments.

01:22:28.100 No one is above the law.

01:22:30.120 It's a celebration of the law and how it applies to all of us.

01:22:34.140 No one is above the law.

01:22:35.640 I do think that there is a thing called pretty privilege. 0.99

01:22:39.880 There is a thing called white privilege.

01:22:41.540 There is a thing called tall privilege.

01:22:43.980 And we have to acknowledge that.

01:22:46.360 It's supposed to be a nation of laws.

01:22:48.220 is there a thing called harvard privilege and millionaire privilege the view privilege 1.00

01:22:54.740 because you seem to be dripping in it madam honestly when i first heard that sunny hauston

01:23:03.060 showed up at the scene of her son in handcuffs to help him out i thought what is the controversy 0.99

01:23:09.800 i would do this for my child too she's behaving like a mama bear and you're lying if you say 0.95

01:23:17.400 You wouldn't show up there to help your child being handcuffed if they called you, especially if you're a lawyer like she is. 0.55

01:23:25.220 And I am, too. I don't I do not begrudge her one second trying to help her son out in a tense and potentially scary moment.

01:23:34.040 I do begrudge her her dripping sanctimony and hypocrisy.

01:23:40.120 No one's above the law, and everyone other than Sonny Hostin is swimming in privilege

01:23:46.960 that she's very pissed off about.

01:23:49.800 She doesn't love our country.

01:23:52.260 She feels threatened and unsafe when she sees a neighborhood full of American flags because

01:23:57.280 the country's been just so devastating to her.

01:23:59.580 We made her a multimillionaire.

01:24:01.360 We funded her mansion in Westchester, which you could probably fit four of your homes 0.97

01:24:08.120 in it.

01:24:08.420 we'll show you the video yet again so you know what we're talking about. Did your child go to

01:24:13.100 Harvard? Most people's kids didn't go to Harvard. Do you think her child got into Harvard completely

01:24:18.980 on merit? Or do you think she might have played the Sonny Hauston view card to help him along?

01:24:26.000 Not to mention the fact that her son being black is only a bonus to getting into an Ivy League 0.60

01:24:32.100 university like that. Everybody knows that. So if there's any privilege, it's the one that she is 0.66

01:24:38.360 immersed in day after day after day. But she won't acknowledge any of that. No, it's all about white

01:24:45.460 privilege, which she talks about all the time on that show and how I guess Trump is evil and his 1.00

01:24:53.240 voters are white supremacists. That's her main talking points from The View. Well, what happened 0.98

01:24:59.660 is recently her son, who's a Harvard grad, she'd really want you to know, and 24 years

01:25:05.660 old, he's not a 16-year-old, was running, and apparently he's an avid runner.

01:25:11.900 She's made mention of this many times on the show and decided not to run like you or I

01:25:18.740 would or anybody who's in training for a marathon or for a track team or what have you on the

01:25:24.100 road, on a track, on a path in the woods, wherever. I've lived in Westchester. There are tons of

01:25:34.580 beautiful neighborhoods and lovely suburban roads where you could run easily and tons of high

01:25:39.960 schools with unused tracks where you could potentially run in the off hours and tons of

01:25:45.400 Y's, you know, YWMCA or YMCA where you could go. Like there's tons of facilities in Westchester.

01:25:51.440 It's not like Manhattan, where there's like Chelsea Pierce, and that's all you have.

01:25:56.640 He decided to run on railroad tracks.

01:26:00.280 And I'm sorry to break it to you, Sonny and Gabriel.

01:26:04.180 That's the son.

01:26:05.160 That's dangerous, not just for you, but for riders of the trains.

01:26:09.720 That's why it's criminal.

01:26:12.020 That's why they've criminalized it.

01:26:13.860 You're not allowed to do it.

01:26:15.260 I, newsflash, as a white woman, I'm not allowed to do it either, okay?

01:26:21.440 It doesn't matter if you went to Harvard or if you didn't go to college at all.

01:26:26.580 Law applies the same.

01:26:28.240 You know why, Sonny?

01:26:29.500 Because no one is above the law.

01:26:31.660 A concept with which you claimed to be familiar when we were talking about Donald Trump.

01:26:36.660 What happened with that?

01:26:38.440 I don't think there's a get out of jail free card if you went to Harvard.

01:26:42.460 I don't think so.

01:26:44.300 Pretty sure.

01:26:46.020 All my years practicing law, I never saw that one.

01:26:48.520 you don't have the law doesn't apply to you if you went to harvard geez the applications would

01:26:53.800 be even more great in number than they are right now if that were the case no

01:26:58.780 working class elite class harvard class you're not allowed to trespass on the railroad tracks 0.90

01:27:07.400 because it's dangerous not just for you but for the people riding the trains and the people 0.75

01:27:13.520 waiting for the trains and the people who live in the areas if you don't believe me here take

01:27:18.040 a listen to the U.S. Department of Transportation on how long it takes trains to stop. Because

01:27:26.460 while you might think they can stop on a dime if they happen to see somebody running down

01:27:30.740 the track, you're wrong. Watch.

01:27:33.500 An automobile traveling at 55 miles per hour can stop in about 200 feet. A tractor trailer

01:27:38.900 rig at the same speed will take about 300 feet, the length of a football field. The

01:27:45.000 The average freight train at 55 miles per hour on the other hand will need a mile or

01:27:49.480 more to stop.

01:27:51.360 That's 18 football fields.

01:27:53.560 You should know that an oncoming train may be closer and moving faster than it appears.

01:27:59.940 It is easy to misjudge a train's speed and distance from the crossing.

01:28:04.060 Because of the train's size and your perspective as it comes toward you, it appears to be moving

01:28:09.240 much more slowly than it actually is.

01:28:12.860 Tracks, trestles, yards, and equipment are private property.

01:28:18.660 Walking or playing on them is illegal.

01:28:21.560 Trespassers are subject to arrest and fines.

01:28:25.660 Even if they went to Harvard.

01:28:28.180 Here's what happened.

01:28:30.000 He got stopped.

01:28:31.440 He got cuffed.

01:28:32.900 He called his mom.

01:28:34.620 And it all played out on body cam footage.

01:28:38.520 here's her son explaining that his mother is a lawyer and then you hear sonny hauston

01:28:46.000 on the phone with him and listen to the instruction this is from police body cam footage from june

01:28:51.580 16th saat 21 my mom's a lawyer by the way that's okay what's your name what's your name sir i'm

01:28:57.940 brian brian is that your badge number 2814 yes yes so the reason we're stopping you this is

01:29:02.240 trespassing right here oh i'm sorry though it was open over there i was just walking on a run here

01:29:06.840 I saw it, I just looked open for me, so I just walked in.

01:29:09.200 So this is considered trespassing, it's a criminal trespass.

01:29:12.320 The reason why it's such a big deal, people get hit by a train all the time.

01:29:15.560 We want to prevent it, obviously.

01:29:16.980 Do you have any idea on you?

01:29:18.440 Yes.

01:29:19.100 Okay, where is it?

01:29:20.400 It's in my phone, if you take off the case.

01:29:22.820 Tell them your mother is a federal prosecutor.

01:29:25.080 Yes.

01:29:25.940 Hey, Mom, how are you?

01:29:26.860 This is Officer Gomez.

01:29:28.140 Your son's fine.

01:29:29.060 Hey, Officer Gomez.

01:29:29.660 How are you?

01:29:29.980 This is...

01:29:31.980 Yes, yes.

01:29:33.980 I'm a federal prosecutor.

01:29:35.080 Okay, fair enough.

01:29:35.700 That's my son.

01:29:36.180 He's a Harvard graduate.

01:29:38.900 OK, so before she knows that the police officer is there and hearing everything and holding the phone, she tells him to lie. 0.52

01:29:47.040 Tell them your mother's a federal prosecutor.

01:29:49.200 No, you're not.

01:29:51.280 You were once, but you're not.

01:29:53.340 That was a long time ago, Sonny.

01:29:56.160 And you shouldn't be advising your child to lie to the police.

01:30:00.600 then once the officer identifies himself and she knows he can hear her and he's got the phone

01:30:06.040 she says former former right correct madam you're already off on the wrong foot don't lie

01:30:14.480 to police to get your son out of a jam it's the wrong decision the son says i didn't know you

01:30:20.980 know he didn't see the sign okay that that could be true um i think most of us know you're not

01:30:26.080 allowed to run on the railroad tracks or next to the trains. I think most of us know that we don't

01:30:33.480 own that property and it's a dangerous thing to do, but whatever. My beef in this whole video is

01:30:38.620 not with the son. It's with the mother. She shows up to the scene as well. She's in person. And I 0.54

01:30:47.820 believe this next soundbite shows that. Some of the exchange is on the phone and some of it is

01:30:52.340 in person. Let's watch Sat 22. Let's get my mom on the phone. Of course, here. Ms. Hoskins, it's

01:30:57.060 Officer Gomez. Hi, Officer Gomez. I'm about four minutes away. Okay, that's fine. So I just wanted

01:31:02.480 to give you the heads up. So I am going to be writing your son what's called an appearance

01:31:06.540 ticket. I'm sure you know what that is because it is criminal trespass where he was. Officer,

01:31:10.020 is that really necessary? This is a kid that doesn't do anything. He's a Harvard graduate

01:31:15.020 and a Yale researcher. He teaches geometry to f***ers and dogs. I understand that. Why would 0.99

01:31:21.700 you put something on his record like this? No, no, it's, it's not, it's not even, it's not

01:31:25.860 anything criminal. He just has to appear. I'm dumbing it down to a violation. That's all it

01:31:29.660 is. With all due respect, man, I still have a job to do and we have to deter people from being on

01:31:34.000 the tracks. Indeed you do because, uh, trespassing is the leading cost of rail related deaths in the

01:31:42.240 United States. Nationally, more than 500 trespass fatalities occur each year per the U S department

01:31:49.700 of transportation more than 500 deaths occur as a result of trespass in and around the railroads

01:31:56.160 and the tracks every year so they do have a job to do and it's part of keeping the community safe

01:32:01.600 here is the son gabriel um asking if the cops can look the other way and saw 23

01:32:07.320 what happens if you didn't do it what happens well you know uh we have cameras everywhere

01:32:16.340 if we didn't see you somebody would have called it over correct you know there was too many trains

01:32:22.620 coming in and out of there to not i hate to say it's like my partner said our hands are tied it

01:32:26.840 is what it is again i don't i don't care that's that doesn't bother me have you ever been pulled

01:32:33.040 over while driving your car i mean i don't think it's beyond the pale to say what if what happens

01:32:37.240 if you don't write me a ticket please don't write me a ticket i was going fast because of x i mean

01:32:41.900 everyone's done that. There's nothing wrong with that. It's the privilege card that people are

01:32:47.420 revolting against. Here she is now on scene in SOT 24. What's going on? He was walking along the

01:32:57.000 tracks. I'm on a run, on a walk, and the gate was open. I was out. I see. Yeah.

01:33:03.360 On the phone with me, actually. I'm a former federal prosecutor. He knows. He's a Harvard grad who teaches 4th grade geometry to South Bronx kids. He's not a kid who's in trouble. It's an innocent mistake. I understand you have to take a violation, but it's something.

01:33:27.360 I think I was walking over there and there was some, I was about to show up.

01:33:33.760 I had a big interview today and I'm talking about it.

01:33:39.220 Okay, there it is.

01:33:42.480 Why'd you mention your big interview today? 0.88

01:33:45.020 We all fucking know why. 0.90

01:33:47.300 I'm a big star. 0.98

01:33:49.420 I'm a former federal prosecutor.

01:33:51.540 My boy went to Harvard.

01:33:52.860 I'm on TV and I had a big interview today.

01:33:57.360 that this is disgusting. This is not normal. This is not something most of us would do.

01:34:03.920 Trust me, I've been pulled over by the cops. I can speed here or there just like anybody,

01:34:07.660 though I don't make a habit out of it. And the thought runs through your head. Do I mention?

01:34:13.100 I mean, in my case, unlike hers, I actually have cops backs on this show. And the thought

01:34:18.540 runs through your head. Do I tell them that? Hell no. I would just never play that card.

01:34:23.440 I would never play that card. Never. And this is what she does. I'm a former federal prosecutor.

01:34:30.000 I'm one of you. And on top of that, I had a big interview today. We're all talking about it.

01:34:35.560 I'm a star. You know me. I'm a star. And my son went to Harvard and now is researching at Yale.

01:34:46.180 We're not the kind of people who commit crimes. That's what she's saying. We're not like those

01:34:50.800 dirty, dirt under the nails, filthy, working class losers who commit crime. We're from damn 1.00

01:34:58.340 Harvard. Show some respect. It's disgusting. I'm on TV. I don't commit crime. I don't raise 0.99

01:35:07.900 a son who would commit crime. We go to Harvard, okay? Stupid, dumbass cop who's inconvenienced

01:35:17.220 me and my son. We could buy and sell your whole family, sir. That's what's happening there. 1.00

01:35:23.400 It's disgusting. It is disgusting. I would have had no problem. She had shown up there and said, 0.95

01:35:30.560 guys, he's never been in trouble. He's a good kid. Check his record. He didn't understand

01:35:36.920 that this was private property because the sign is not clear. I would be defending her.

01:35:43.260 I would be.

01:35:44.440 I would do the same for my child.

01:35:46.220 I'm sure you would for yours as well.

01:35:47.920 But the Harvard, Harvard, Harvard, she mentions it at least three times.

01:35:51.560 We didn't show them all.

01:35:53.360 And Yale and her big interview and former federal prosecutor and all to what?

01:36:01.080 To avoid a citation.

01:36:02.500 He's not getting charged with a misdemeanor.

01:36:04.220 Like the stakes are very low.

01:36:06.320 We looked it up.

01:36:07.140 He's facing a possible $500 fine.

01:36:09.780 Did you see the house?

01:36:10.660 Do I need to show you the video again?

01:36:11.920 she can afford it. I'm sure he can afford it too. This is ridiculous. Like, I'm sorry,

01:36:19.240 but I don't want to hear her protestations about no one's above the law anymore as she plays

01:36:23.800 every card she can possibly get her hands on. Former federal prosecutor, I'm on TV with a big

01:36:30.900 interview. Harvard, Harvard, Harvard, Yale, Yale, Yale. No one is above the law. Oh,

01:36:36.460 Is that true or isn't it, madam? 0.98

01:36:40.960 It's disgusting. 0.76

01:36:42.560 That's the reason people are recoiling in response to this.

01:36:46.380 It's not because no one could make the wrong decision about a railroad or railways, etc.

01:36:53.140 And it's not because of the son either.

01:36:55.040 It's because of her and her messaging on the air and the nerve to after nonstop white privilege, 1.00

01:37:02.740 no one's above the law to show up to a scene and pull that shit. Shame on you. Okay, before we go, 1.00

01:37:09.620 a word on the World Cup. Congratulations to Spain and its fans. Personally, I was rooting for

01:37:16.640 Argentina as we have beautiful friends from Argentina and they were so sad, so sad. So I

01:37:22.800 know how important soccer is, football, to basically everybody outside the United States

01:37:27.640 several million inside the U.S. as well, though I don't think we compare to the enthusiasm in

01:37:34.320 Europe and South America and beyond. So in any event, I did watch large portions of the finals

01:37:40.740 and large portions of the World Cup. And I have to say, I agree with the critics of the halftime

01:37:47.180 show. It was terrible. First, they opened up with Madonna, who I don't know what she's doing,

01:37:56.200 people. And I don't even know if she can still sing because she only ever uses the track and

01:38:01.600 does the lip syncing. I have yet to hear the actual Madonna's voice in the past decade or so,

01:38:06.580 but here's what she looked like.

01:38:26.200 okay i i liked that song um i remember it when i was married to my first husband

01:38:51.740 literally 26 years ago um it's it's fine but i i i feel like the the world cup could have gotten

01:39:02.240 more relevant talent yeah right um lip syncing of course because again we have no idea whether

01:39:08.840 she can still sing and the dancing was lame too i'm not gonna lie that's the one thing madonna 0.84

01:39:12.820 really kind of could do all along not there i don't know what she's doing she's squatting 1.00

01:39:16.980 and, of course, writhing, because that's her thing these days.

01:39:21.500 Then, after Madonna, we saw BTS, one of the biggest bands in the world.

01:39:26.640 And I'm not going to lie, no offense, Bonnie.

01:39:28.620 My friend Bonnie loves them, and I get it.

01:39:31.080 They are very talented, normally.

01:39:33.260 I don't know if they were phoning it in,

01:39:34.920 but both the lip syncing and the dancing

01:39:37.340 look like a college boy band imitating BTS to me.

01:39:41.300 Look at this.

01:39:41.760 so the acrobats around them are doing a good job the actual band look how they're phoning in even

01:40:00.460 the motions this is no michael jackson at the super bowl people look at them they look tired

01:40:09.900 it's like they had jet lag or something i not impressed again if i want to hear a lip sync

01:40:19.060 track i'll just play press play on spotify or sirius why do i have to tune into that

01:40:24.260 um then came justin bieber and it was a beautiful song for christians but i'm just going to tell you

01:40:30.420 it wasn't the right song for the world cup it slowed everything down it was a ballad

01:40:34.920 It was a ballad that it has sort of a sad, holy, holistic feel to it.

01:40:43.460 And in the right mood, it'd be the perfect song.

01:40:45.380 But at the World Cup halftime show, here's a little of that.

01:40:49.560 Look at you, hallelujah.

01:40:52.380 Loving you, hallelujah.

01:40:55.580 Everything, hallelujah.

01:40:58.560 Everything, hallelujah.

01:41:01.580 Everything, hallelujah.

01:41:04.160 Okay.

01:41:04.920 You get that. You get the gist. It was too much. It was too sad, too slow, too somber.

01:41:12.120 It brought the room down. And then thank God for Shakira, who I must say, save the day. Look.

01:41:34.920 As you watch this, she's 49.

01:42:02.120 She was great. 0.85

01:42:04.120 Great. 0.99

01:42:04.920 the right vibe, a great song. She looked amazing. I cannot believe she's 49 years old. She's 0.64

01:42:10.500 moving around like she's 29 years old. Congrats to her on not showing us her vag this time like 1.00

01:42:16.460 she did at the Super Bowl with J-Lo a couple of years ago. It was classy. She had on sort of a

01:42:22.620 hula outfit, which was totally fine, kind of saucy, but not too much for her age or for the

01:42:27.520 setting. And she sang a great song. Again, I think that was also a track, but I forgave it because

01:42:33.220 the dancing was good and she sold it. I'm sad that the World Cup is over. I loved having the

01:42:38.220 fans from all these countries come over here and discover America for the first time and to help a

01:42:42.900 lot of us see our own country anew through their enthusiasm. And I love all the stars who emerged.

01:42:49.460 I love getting to know more about Messi and the guy from Norway and the rowing,

01:42:56.040 Umbabe. Is that how you say it? Anyway, we'll miss them and we look forward to the next one.

01:43:01.880 Tomorrow, ruthless.

01:43:03.660 See you then. 1.00
