00:03:29.900 the green, doe-eyed, know-nothing, coming-of-age doctor back then. And they did, according to what
00:03:38.520 I read, try to actually use him. It was, hold on, I'm reading here. It says,
00:03:42.900 Before The Pit, Noah Wiley and producers John Wells and R. Scott Jemmel tried to develop an
00:03:47.960 ER sequel featuring Wiley's character, Dr. John Carter. They negotiated with Michael Crichton's
00:03:54.260 estate because, of course, ER was based on Michael Crichton's work. But the negotiations collapsed,
00:04:00.260 and then they created The Pit with the same star, same producers, and same emergency room setting.
00:04:06.060 Well, that got them sued. Apparently, Crichton's estate is claiming that The Pit, this show,
00:04:10.200 is an unauthorized ER reboot, which is probably why I was so drawn to it. But I was excited to

00:07:14.900 leads me to the pit. There I am under the blankie. And, you know, it starts off the way you might
00:07:21.180 think a medical drama would start off. And it's got all of like the cases and it's got the cast
00:07:25.660 of characters and I'm into it. Everyone's attractive, which I appreciate. You know, I don't
00:07:29.840 like staring at unattractive people on my television screen. I think I'm not alone in
00:07:34.920 that. And they've done a good job of finding beautiful people to star in these roles. So
00:07:39.040 hats off on that. Then we get to episode two. And my hackles started to go up a little,
00:07:48.360 okay, just a little. And I'm going to show you why. And just before I get to this,
00:07:52.380 this is the reason that we're doing this. Everyone knows that there's a liberal bias in news.
00:07:56.860 If you dispute that, you're clueless and not worth talking to.
00:08:00.980 But the indoctrination that our children and we suffer through, if we are any place right of AOC, is pervasive.

00:12:54.180 takes the heroic brown lady to step in to say, oh, stop it. You don't understand sickle cell.

00:13:15.320 understand them, right? He's got everything. Here's the second part of their little story,

00:14:48.640 box here, but whatever medical drama, I'm going to focus on the medicine. By the way, I should
00:14:53.440 mention that the medicine is like the medical scenes are very in your face. I mean, there's a
00:14:58.100 birth scene, which we're going to talk about in a little bit, where like they are showing the
00:15:01.500 baby's head coming out of a vag. I mean, they show the vag. There's one scene in which they show a
00:15:06.400 penis. The injuries that they show are up close and gory. They don't spare you anything, which
00:15:11.920 people say, oh, that's what makes it so realistic. I got to die. I could be, I could be spared a few
00:15:15.540 things. Okay. But onward, I forged. Now we get to episode four and see if you can figure out
