00:02:28.360 the terms of the New Deal.
00:02:30.640 Hamas saying the Israeli military killed several Gaza residents in violation of that ceasefire.
00:02:36.480 The Wall Street Journal reporting Israel military officials say troops were forced to open
00:02:41.760 fire when suspects crossed the so-called yellow line, defining where Israeli troops are allowed
00:02:46.960 to be in Gaza.
00:02:48.600 Meanwhile, the Associated Press is reporting Israel is planning to cut aid deliveries in
00:02:53.320 half due to Hamas's delayed return of the bodies of deceased hostages.
00:02:58.400 Phase one of the deal calling for the return of all hostages, living and dead.
00:03:03.380 Four bodies have been returned and positively identified so far.

00:03:09.340 Hamas officials saying some of the bodies are trapped under the rubble there.
00:03:13.600 A Red Cross spokesperson telling Sky News it could take days or even weeks to locate all
00:03:19.140 of the remains and some may never be found.
00:03:21.920 Since the beginning of the ceasefire, multiple outlets reporting on violent conflicts between
00:03:26.880 Hamas operatives and rival gangs across Gaza.
00:03:30.680 Violent place.
00:03:31.460 Videos circulating on social media showing mass soldiers gunning down eight people in
00:03:36.600 Gaza City with large crowds gathered to observe.
00:03:40.300 The White House's 20-point plan calling for Hamas to disarm and give up control of the
00:03:45.000 government.
00:03:45.480 On Tuesday, at the White House, President Trump issuing a stern warning to the remaining
00:03:50.960 Hamas fighters.
00:03:52.580 President, I'm Gaza.
00:03:53.700 How long will it take Hamas to disarm?
00:03:56.140 And can you guarantee that it's going to happen?
00:03:57.960 Well, they're going to disarm because they said they were going to disarm.
00:04:01.120 And if they don't disarm, we will disarm them.
00:04:03.900 How will you do that?
00:04:05.140 I don't have to explain that to you.
00:04:06.960 But if they don't disarm, we will disarm them.
00:04:09.540 They know I'm not playing games.
00:04:11.300 We did something monumental.
00:04:13.000 We got the hostages back.
00:04:14.360 That was the first thing we had to do above all else.
00:04:17.140 Get the hostages back.
00:04:18.740 Now, they misrepresented because we were told they had 26, 24 of dead hostages, if we can
00:04:26.500 use those terms.
00:04:28.280 And it seems as though they don't have that because we're talking about a much lesser number.
00:04:34.120 But that's a very tough subject.
00:04:36.380 I want them back.
00:04:37.440 That's what they said.
00:04:38.640 I want them back.
00:04:39.940 But we have told them we want disarm and they will disarm.
00:04:45.500 And if they don't disarm, we will disarm them.
00:04:47.940 And it'll happen quickly and perhaps violently.
00:04:51.260 But they will disarm.
00:04:52.600 Do you understand me?
00:04:53.880 Also at the White House, on a lighter note, President Trump crediting the media for its
00:04:57.760 coverage of the deal.
00:04:59.140 What's taken place in the last few days, people can't believe it.
00:05:02.140 I've never seen anything like it.
00:05:03.500 I've never seen the love and the spirit.
00:05:05.460 And I've done a lot of things.
00:05:06.580 I've done a lot of deals.
00:05:07.400 I've done a lot of political deals where countries come into line or whatever.
00:05:11.400 But I've never seen anything like this.
00:05:12.940 The media covered it very fairly.
00:05:15.500 And even the fake news, of which we have a lot, they actually covered it fairly for
00:05:21.100 a change.
00:05:22.200 And I appreciated that.
00:05:23.840 We have to get back to that.
00:05:25.060 It's so important.
00:05:26.160 However, despite that praise to the press, Mr. Trump earlier in the day on Truth Social
00:05:30.940 singling out Time Magazine for its choice in cover photo.
00:05:35.400 Here's the quote from the president.
00:05:37.020 Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the worst of
00:05:42.220 all time.
00:05:42.820 They, quote, disappeared my hair and that had something floating on the top of my head
00:05:47.980 that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one.
00:05:51.680 Really weird.
00:05:52.940 I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture and
00:05:57.620 deserves to be called out.
00:05:59.160 What are they doing and why?
00:06:01.180 Donald Trump is obsessed with covers of magazines and Time Magazine, maybe most of all.
00:06:05.660 So no surprise.
00:06:07.000 It is a kind of a weird picture.
00:06:08.320 President Trump posthumously awarding Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
00:06:15.520 It's the nation's highest civilian honor yesterday at the White House on what would have been
00:06:19.800 the Turning Point USA founder's 32nd birthday.
00:06:22.760 Today, we're here to honor and remember a fearless warrior for liberty, beloved leader who galvanized
00:06:29.600 the next generation like nobody I've ever seen before, and an American patriot of the deepest
00:06:35.820 conviction, the finest quality and the highest caliber, the late, great Charlie Kirk.
00:06:43.060 He was assassinated in the prime of his life for boldly speaking the truth, for living his
00:06:49.480 faith and relentlessly fighting for a better and stronger America.
00:06:53.340 He loved this country.
00:06:55.080 And that's why this afternoon, it's my privilege to posthumously award Charles James Kirk, our
00:07:02.000 nation's highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
00:07:07.680 Thank you.
00:07:08.100 As I said, on the day that he was assassinated, Charlie Kirk was a martyr for truth and for
00:07:15.340 freedom.
00:07:15.960 He was put on earth to do exactly what he was doing.
00:07:19.320 He didn't want to waste time.
00:07:20.380 He would have been a top student at any college in the country.
00:07:23.540 I know the college as well.
00:07:24.940 He's smarter than the guys.
00:07:26.540 He was so smart.
00:07:28.560 Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th at a campus tour stop at Utah Valley University.
00:07:34.100 Two weeks after Charlie's death, Turning Point USA reporting the organization received more
00:07:39.080 than 121,000 requests to start new chapters or get involved with an existing chapter.
00:07:46.380 More from President Trump.
00:07:48.260 In the hearts of our nation's youth, that's where Charlie rode strongest.
00:07:53.240 At age 18, that insight inspired Charlie to found the organization that ultimately touched
00:07:59.560 the lives of millions and millions of people and so many young people that nobody's ever
00:08:04.980 seen anything like it, frankly.
00:08:06.640 Turning Point USA.
00:08:08.520 It's amazing.
00:08:09.620 And it's actually bigger now.
00:08:11.620 It's become bigger in the last few weeks than Charlie ever thought.
00:08:15.500 With hard work and joyful spirit and endless enthusiasm and determination.
00:08:21.600 And he did have great enthusiasm.
00:08:23.640 You know, I always say you need enthusiasm to be successful.
00:08:26.420 He had great enthusiasm.
00:08:27.420 Charlie grew Turning Point into the largest conservative youth organization in the entire
00:08:32.520 country.
00:08:33.720 He forged a personal bond with countless young conservatives.
00:08:37.420 He fought for free speech, religious liberty, strong borders, and a very strong and proud America.
00:08:44.020 In everything he did, he put America first.
00:08:47.340 He really put America first.
00:08:49.460 Charlie's widow and chairman and CEO of Turning Point USA, Erica Kirk, accepting the medal on his
00:08:54.940 behalf.
00:08:55.280 And to the Turning Point USA chapters that are watching all across America right now, you are
00:09:01.900 the heartbeat of this future and of this movement.
00:09:05.660 Everything that Charlie built, you guys are the legacy holders of that.
00:09:09.920 You are living proof that his mission did not die with him.
00:09:13.640 It lives through you.
00:09:15.080 And Charlie always said the next generation will decide whether freedom endures.
00:09:18.720 And because of you, I know that freedom will endure.
00:09:22.400 The very existence of the Presidential Medal of Freedom reminds us that the national interest
00:09:28.080 of the United States has always been freedom.
00:09:31.440 Our founders etched it into the preamble of our Constitution.
00:09:34.940 And those words are not relics on parchment.
00:09:39.340 They are a living covenant.
00:09:41.100 The blessings of liberty are not man's invention.
00:09:44.380 They are God's endowment.
00:09:46.280 Charlie lived for those blessings, not as abstract words, but as sacred promises.
00:09:52.060 Honestly, President Trump, I have spent seven and a half years trying to find the perfect
00:09:57.600 birthday gift for Charlie.
00:09:59.580 Now I can say with confidence, Mr. President, that you have given him the best birthday gift
00:10:05.000 he could ever have.
00:10:06.620 Incredible speech, an incredible moment.
00:10:11.420 Coming up, Memphis locals typing to social media to thank President Trump and federal agents
00:10:16.660 for making one of America's most dangerous cities livable again.
00:10:21.200 And the man accused of lighting Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's home on fire, pleading
00:10:26.440 guilty to all charges.
00:10:32.940 You know all those fad diets.
00:10:34.860 Half of Americans do it.
00:10:36.000 And if you do it enough, you could be at risk of diabetes, liver damage, heart attack,
00:10:39.900 and stroke.
00:10:41.220 Weight cycling is when you lose 10 or more pounds, but then you put the pounds back on
00:10:46.300 plus a couple more.
00:10:47.800 That puts tremendous strain on your organs and can lead to serious health issues.
00:10:52.260 Bottom line, most people need help to stop weight cycling.
00:10:55.040 And this is why I want to tell you about non-prescription lean created by doctors.
00:11:00.680 Lean is an oral supplement, not a GLP-1 injectable.
00:11:04.360 It uses studied ingredients, which lean says target weight loss in three powerful ways,
00:11:09.940 maintaining healthy blood sugar, helping control appetite and cravings, burning fat by converting
00:11:15.000 it to energy.
00:11:16.180 And burning fat helps keep the weight off.
00:11:18.460 If you want to lose meaningful weight at a healthy pace and keep it off, consider adding
00:11:22.620 lean to your diet and exercise lifestyle.
00:11:25.180 Get 20% off when you enter MK at takelean.com.
00:11:29.640 That's code MK at takelean.com.
00:11:31.860 The DOJ announcing more than 800 arrests made by the Memphis Safe Task Force in just two
00:11:40.440 weeks.
00:11:40.720 More than 1,500 federal agents from a dozen agencies surging one of America's most dangerous
00:11:46.540 cities, according to the U.S.
00:11:48.340 Marshal Service.
00:11:49.560 From September 29th through October 12th, the DOJ reporting the arrest of six homicide
00:11:54.500 specs, 79 narcotics offenses, 94 firearm offenses, and 34 sex offenses.
00:12:01.840 The DOJ also reporting 161 administrative arrests, referring to immigration violations.
00:12:08.020 On Tuesday morning, state and local officials holding a press conference to update the press
00:12:12.500 on the efforts so far.
00:12:14.280 Republican Governor Bill Lee saying aspects of the task force will remain in effect on a
00:12:19.760 permanent basis.
00:12:20.600 I've said before, I think we will execute on this operation as long as it takes.
00:12:26.880 The way we will measure success, obviously, is by violent crime and the reduction of that
00:12:32.280 crime.
00:12:32.820 We've just begun.
00:12:34.380 In fact, I will tell you that it will last forever because what we believe will happen
00:12:40.440 is the numbers of law enforcement agents from different agencies will change depending on
00:12:49.180 the mission at the moment.
00:12:51.700 It will be mission dependent.
00:12:53.200 But we know that the surge that has taken place currently, or that is taking place currently,
00:12:59.120 that surge will diminish at some point.
00:13:01.280 But what we learned from that surge, the collaboration that is happening right now between the U.S.
00:13:07.880 Marshal Service and the Memphis Police Department and the FBI and the DEA and the Tennessee Highway
00:13:13.200 Patrol, that collaboration will be here from now on.
00:13:16.420 So, this operation in some ways may never end.
00:13:20.260 It'll just change in its scope.
00:13:22.600 Director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, David Rausch, providing information on the missing
00:13:27.680 children that have been recovered so far.
00:13:30.260 Our team has been working very closely from the start with us, focusing on recovering missing
00:13:35.780 children.
00:13:36.160 And we have been working very closely with Homeland Security investigations, with the FBI.
00:13:42.000 And so we've had 137 when we started the operation that have been identified.
00:13:48.000 And of those at this point, 45 have been identified or recovered.
00:13:54.800 You know, people will say, well, who are these missing children?
00:13:57.320 The vast majority are runaways.
00:13:58.680 The other piece to this that's really important is if they're not recovered, what happens to them?
00:14:05.260 And, you know, most people understand human trafficking.
00:14:08.380 They see it as something that happens with people being brought in from other countries.
00:14:12.500 That's not the only aspect.
00:14:14.060 As a matter of fact, the more popular aspect of human trafficking is these young people who run away
00:14:18.820 and end up getting into situations that they can't get out of.
00:14:23.340 And they end up in a trafficking situation.
00:14:26.000 And so doing these operations keeps that from happening to these children.
00:14:31.200 Memphis Mayor Paul Young, a Democrat, praising the work of the task force
00:14:34.700 and shining light on how it has impacted his local community.
00:14:39.140 I am hopeful that this is going to be a point in history where we have been able to truly get a
00:14:45.320 handle on crime and sustain the progress that we gain.
00:14:49.400 One text that I got just yesterday gave me some encouragement.
00:14:54.780 There was a teacher at a school in Frasier who texted me that she had a conversation with some of her fifth graders
00:15:02.180 who live in an apartment complex in the area.
00:15:05.100 And in that apartment complex there had been portions of this operation taking place.
00:15:10.480 And those fifth graders came there and said that they were really excited
00:15:14.880 because they're now going to be able to play outside all fall.
00:15:19.400 As we go through this initiative and this point in history, I think it's important
00:15:24.080 that we think about the people, our young people, and how we are enhancing their quality of life
00:15:31.240 for many years to come and what that will mean for our great city.
00:15:34.960 That sentiment echoed on social media.
00:15:37.140 Memphis residents thanking President Trump, describing how their lives have improved
00:15:41.140 since the beginning of this surge.
00:15:43.400 I'm not into politics, but I will say thank you to Trump for bringing these National Guards
00:15:49.320 and doing what they're doing down here in Memphis right now.
00:15:51.980 For the first time, my kids have been able to play in the backyard and be able to do it comfortably.
00:15:58.440 I haven't heard a gunshot in two weeks.
00:16:01.260 Since they brought the National Guard down to Memphis, I ain't heard no screeching tires out late at night.
00:16:06.260 I ain't heard no gunshots.
00:16:07.480 These folks didn't got 16 convicted murderers off the streets in one week.
00:16:13.920 I would be lying if I ain't just read them numbers and say, damn, that's a good thing for Memphis.
00:16:19.360 Trump, I just want to let you know, man, I got to stand with you.
00:16:23.660 You sent them people here and they cleaned up our motherfucking streets.
00:16:27.260 I'm talking about they cleaned them good.
00:16:29.020 Cody Balmer pleading guilty on Tuesday to all charges relating to the April arson attack
00:16:36.740 on Pennsylvania Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro's residence.
00:16:40.320 As part of a plea deal with prosecutors, Balmer will spend between 25 and 50 years in prison.
00:16:48.120 The charges included attempted murder of Governor Shapiro, aggregated arson, 22 counts of arson,
00:16:54.500 burglary, and more.
00:16:55.640 More prosecutors, releasing security footage of the attack, showing Balmer breaking a window
00:17:00.500 of the home, then throwing a Molotov cocktail inside, starting a fire.
00:17:05.780 Balmer then breaking a second window and entering the home.
00:17:08.780 Security footage showing Balmer hitting two doors, including one leading to where the governor
00:17:13.500 and his family were sleeping.
00:17:15.720 The attack carried out on the second night of the Jewish holiday, Passover.
00:17:19.500 At the time, the governor, his wife, three of their four children, 15 overnight guests,
00:17:24.740 and two Pennsylvania state troopers were asleep inside the home.
00:17:29.100 Balmer did not successfully penetrate the door.
00:17:31.700 Balmer then tossing a second Molotov cocktail in a dining area before exiting the home.

00:18:25.580 Violence that is used to try and silence people or intimidate people.
00:18:30.500 I think it's important that in this time of rising political violence that none of us grow
00:18:36.480 numb to it or accept this as the normal course of doing business for elected officials.
00:18:43.900 I think we need real accountability for acts of political violence.
