00:02:15.040 Authorities in Spain saying many of the tens of thousands of migrants who crossed into the
00:02:20.040 Spanish city of Suta late last week, have been escorted back to Morocco. The tiny city,
00:02:26.340 which is part of Spain, is located on the African continent across the Strait of Gibraltar from
00:02:31.420 mainland Spain. At least 72 people died attempting the crossing, their bodies recovered from the sea.
00:02:38.300 Officials are investigating what triggered the sudden surge. Many migrants, most of whom are
00:02:43.340 young Moroccan men reportedly acting on social media posts falsely promising easy entry into
00:02:49.800 Europe, according to the BBC. Multiple accounts, the BBC reports, show young people in wetsuits
00:02:56.220 and flippers or filming themselves already swimming, mixed with pictures from inside Spain.
00:03:02.180 Some of those accounts have only been active for weeks, while several have tens of thousands of
00:03:07.100 likes. While many of the migrants appear to have been attracted by these posts, some seemingly have

00:07:20.320 Trump saying he, quote, disagrees 100% with Piro's decision, continuing, quote, I don't know what she
00:07:26.560 was thinking. To me, it was a pure case of vandalism. Look for yourselves at the vandalism
00:07:31.580 that took place at the reflecting pool. The material is being cut with a knife or a box cutter
00:07:36.460 for all to see. But in a 20-page motion filed by U.S. Attorney Piro's office, Piro writing the
00:07:43.260 damage appears to have been caused by a flawed installation by the contractor Atlantic Industrial
00:07:49.100 coating and not by the defendant, former Olympic canoeist David Hearn. Hearn indicted last month
00:07:55.920 on claims that he had, quote, forcefully and violently torn the bottom liner of the reflecting
00:08:01.660 pool on June 19th. The Justice Department now with an about face, saying, quote, it is difficult to
00:08:08.180 attribute the widespread damage to the reflecting pool to vandalism, let alone to establish that
00:08:13.680 fact beyond a reasonable doubt, end quote, dropping all charges against Mr. Hearn. DOJ
00:08:20.240 blaming the Interior Department for the error, saying Interior failed to make documents available

00:13:09.380 on in near full detail by multiple media outlets, including Word for Word by Brianna Whitney,
00:13:16.600 who works for the Crime Junkie podcast now, but previously was employed by Arizona Family,
00:13:22.360 whose sister station in Tucson received both notes. In one, which was received February 2nd,
00:13:29.460 the sender making a clear ransom demand due by the 5th and also by the 9th of February.
00:13:36.840 The sender ending the note writing verbatim, quote,
00:13:39.540 she had a white smart watch on the floor of the foot of her bed
00:13:43.040 and the white floodlight in the backyard was destroyed.
00:13:46.480 The second note coming on February 6th, before the second ransom deadline,
00:13:51.360 in which the sender apologizes and writes that Nancy had, quote,
00:13:55.560 perished shortly after she was taken and that she is, quote, buried in nature now.
00:14:01.800 Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, speaking to a few media outlets over the weekend,
00:14:05.800 as well as releasing a brief video on the department's YouTube channel.
