The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1010 - Elon Gets The #MeToo Republican Treatment

00:00:00.680 Elon Musk has been a Republican for less than 48 hours, and already they are Me Too-ing him.

00:00:07.860 That's right, already they are accusing him of sex crimes. I think that's a new record.

00:00:13.560 Elon Musk has been around for half a century now. He has been in public life since the late 1990s.

00:00:21.260 He has been prominent in public life for what, 20 years now? And just now, just 24 hours after

00:00:29.980 announcing that he's become a Republican, the establishment media run a shocking story that

00:00:35.800 six years ago, Elon Musk propositioned a masseuse or something. Elon actually predicted that this

00:00:42.920 would happen a couple of days ago. He said, expect the political attacks against me to escalate in

00:00:46.880 the coming months. And because the establishment propagandists are so predictable, we get this

00:00:52.520 first one almost immediately. All of a sudden, for whatever reason, whatever reason, who knows,

00:00:58.120 six years after the alleged incident, this poor beleaguered masseuse has just seen fit to bring

00:01:05.860 this traumatic experience to light, just coincidentally, while Elon is in the midst of a hostile takeover of

00:01:11.700 a major speech platform on an explicitly anti-leftist political platform. What are the odds? What are the

00:01:18.500 odds? I have a rule in politics. I do not take seriously any allegation against longtime public

00:01:26.540 figures, especially against political figures, and especially in heated political moments that

00:01:32.940 concerns events that supposedly took place years prior. The reason is, one, if the allegations were

00:01:40.080 legit, they likely would have come out years prior. They would have come out in the past. But also, two,

00:01:46.300 because the allegations are so obviously cynical, so obviously opportunistic at least,

00:01:52.400 even in the unlikely event that whatever is alleged did actually happen, it is only coming out now to

00:02:00.480 shut the accused person up or to intimidate the accused person or to bully the accused person or to

00:02:05.600 stop him from effecting whatever kind of political change he's trying to bring about. In the past, when

00:02:11.280 the establishment had more credibility, these sorts of campaigns worked. Today, I'm not so sure that they

00:02:17.580 do. If anything, frankly, I think they might have the opposite effect. I was previously somewhat on

00:02:22.780 the fence about Elon Musk. I like the Twitter stuff. I like the trolling. Don't love plugging your brain

00:02:27.580 into the matrix. So I don't know. I was a little bit on the fence. Now that he is being hit with some

00:02:32.520 cynical sex allegation by the worst people on earth, by the news media and the political hacks in the

00:02:38.160 establishment, I am far more likely to support him. In a world of censorship and media manipulation,

00:02:44.240 it can be hard to judge a man by his words and even by his actions, but you can still judge a man by

00:02:50.780 his enemies. And right now, Elon has all the right ones. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles

00:02:55.640 Show. Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is from Gamer Dad, who said,

00:03:09.880 I knew Joe was lying when he said, world leaders walk up to me. No, Joe, nobody walks up to you

00:03:16.440 except the guy selling ice cream. That's true. Joe Biden can be in a room ostensibly of his own

00:03:20.980 supporters and no one wants to talk to him. We saw that very sad video. And then everyone's talking

00:03:25.740 to Obama and then Biden goes up to try to say like, hey, hey, Obama, you know, I'm the president

00:03:29.400 and Obama shoes him away. Says, get out of here. Is it any wonder that Biden is doing such a poor job

00:03:35.860 handling our economy? One reason that you might want to consider birch gold. Right now, text Knowles

00:03:41.240 to 98, 98, 98 because it finally happened, folks. The Fed has realized the dire straits that our

00:03:47.480 economy is in thanks to our loose monetary policy. Turns out, you're going to be shocked to hear this.

00:03:52.300 You can't just spend trillions of dollars every year with absolutely no repercussions. So to play

00:03:57.420 catch up, the Fed has been raising rates and plans to raise rates seven times this year. You are already

00:04:04.640 seeing those ripple effects in the housing market as people's buying power diminishes.

00:04:08.820 Have you considered what could happen in the stock market if the economy stalls out? Do not wait for

00:04:13.340 that to happen. Take some of your profits from the stock market right now and solidify them with gold

00:04:18.620 from birch gold. Throughout history, gold has maintained its value better than any other

00:04:22.640 investment in the world. I personally have very much enjoyed investing in precious metals and gold

00:04:27.080 specifically. Text Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S, to 98, 98, 98 for a free zero obligation info kit on holding gold in a

00:04:34.400 tax-sheltered retirement account. You probably wish that you did this about a week or two ago,

00:04:38.160 a month ago maybe, but it's not too late. Do it now. With countless five-star reviews and an A-plus

00:04:42.960 rating with the Better Business Bureau, I trust the professionals at Birch Gold. So text Knowles,

00:04:47.380 K-N-W-L-E-S, and secure the gains that you have made while you can. Go check out Birch Gold today.

00:04:54.360 Okay. The Elon sexual harassment allegation has so many layers to it. So what the libs are claiming

00:05:04.340 now is, what all of Elon's political opponents are claiming, which is to say the libs, they're

00:05:10.140 saying, listen, the only reason that Elon warned people that there were going to be a lot of political

00:05:16.640 attacks against him, the only reason he came out as a Republican, the only reason he's championing free

00:05:20.520 speech and all this is because he knew, he knew that these allegations were going to come out.

00:05:24.540 So he got ahead of the story. Okay. Yeah. Maybe the timing is a little coincidental for me because

00:05:32.140 it's not as though Elon Musk woke up one day and just out of the blue said, I'm a Republican now.

00:05:37.080 And then the allegations hit. Then you could imagine, okay, maybe he was tipped off that the

00:05:41.220 allegations were going to come out, that Business Insider was going to run this story. And so he just

00:05:45.600 pulled a publicity stunt, but Elon has been setting the stage for this for well over a month now,

00:05:52.560 more than, well, more than a month. And he's been palling around with the Babylon Bee and he's been

00:05:57.380 cozying up to conservatives for a very, very long time. You're telling me that Business Insider was

00:06:02.200 just working on this story the whole time and that Elon Musk is now putting 44 billion on the table

00:06:07.840 and opening himself up to the Securities and Exchange Commission, opening himself up to all sorts of

00:06:14.260 political attacks to get ahead of this story about propositioning a masseuse. I don't buy that. I

00:06:19.700 don't buy that for one second. So there's obviously the political layer to it. At the most superficial

00:06:25.500 layer, this is about a woman who's seen the light and says she needs to accuse Elon Musk six years

00:06:30.020 after something very vaguely insinuated maybe happened. Then the deeper level is this is obviously

00:06:36.060 about politics. This is obviously because Elon is going against the liberal establishment. So they're

00:06:40.220 going to turn all the guns on him and they're going to use their most frequent method,

00:06:42.960 which is me tooing him. Okay. There's actually a deeper level potentially even than that. There

00:06:48.520 was a story that came out last night from the Twitter account Unusual Whales, which posts financial

00:06:54.760 activity. And they pointed out that coincidentally, the day after this Business Insider story on Elon

00:07:02.200 Musk was published, there was a large put option that was expiring. So there was a, the day after this

00:07:08.160 story was published, there was an opportunity for a big investor to bet against the Tesla share price.

00:07:18.860 There was an opportunity and it was, that was it, that, that was going to be the day that it was going

00:07:22.520 to happen. That, uh, the, that someone could make a lot of money if the Tesla share price went down.

00:07:30.220 A lot of money, an unusual amount of money. And then just coincidentally, the day before that's to

00:07:36.320 happen, Business Insider drops this story. It gets even crazier because the CEO of Business Insider

00:07:41.800 has been accused of securities fraud and I think barred from the industry.

00:07:47.600 Business Insider did the same thing with Barstool, right? Do you remember, do you, I think it was

00:07:52.740 Business Insider that broke that story. Someone in the press broke that story about, about Dave

00:07:56.680 Portnoy and Barstool Sports and they, they metooed him as well. And oddly enough, the same situation was

00:08:04.480 happening. There was an opportunity the following day to make a ton of money if the price of Barstool

00:08:10.380 went down. So what exactly is going on here? Now, unusual whales did not make any specific

00:08:16.380 allegations here, whether against Business Insider or anyone else, just observing that the timing is

00:08:21.660 a little coincidental. In the same way that the political watchers were observing that the timing

00:08:26.900 was a little coincidental of these allegations, so too the financial insiders were looking at that

00:08:32.100 as well. When you're trying to figure out what is this about and you've got in one place virtue

00:08:38.740 and then in the next place ideology and then in the next place politics and then the next place money,

00:08:45.000 what is this about, this big new political event? You're usually safer betting on the last two,

00:08:51.000 okay? A lot of times what happens is the woke corporations or the hack politicians, they will

00:08:56.700 feign virtue, they will signal virtue, they will speak in terms of ideology. But what a lot of it

00:09:04.500 comes down to is cold hard jockeying for power and cold hard cash. Seems to be what's going on here.

00:09:09.940 I don't think it'll work though. It might hurt him. I mean, any allegation is damaging. That's why

00:09:14.720 people still lob them. But I don't think it'll really hurt Elon with his base. I think we see through

00:09:19.680 this kind of stuff. Frankly, I am more inclined to support him now that I see that the entire media

00:09:24.800 establishment are going after him. Think, okay, well, he's got the right enemies. He's got my

00:09:28.920 enemies, so I guess he can't be all bad. This is the usual tricks that we see. You are seeing right

00:09:36.380 now a whole lot of tricks coming out from the media establishment, especially on this term du jour.

00:09:42.580 This is the current thing this week that everyone's talking about in the media establishment to club

00:09:47.540 Republicans on the head. They're talking about the great replacement theory. And the great

00:09:52.060 replacement theory is this idea that people in politics are, on the left, are using immigration

00:09:59.640 policy to transform the electorate of the United States so that they can get an electoral advantage.

00:10:06.180 I don't know exactly what's conspiratorial about this or theoretical. I mean, they've been bragging

00:10:10.620 about doing this for 20 years, but they can't seem to get totally on message now. So on CNN,

00:10:16.680 they're talking about this as though it were some crazy, insane conspiracy theory that only the most 0.99

00:10:21.080 racist, bigoted, kooky Republicans are repeating. And it's such a terrible problem. We've got to 0.98

00:10:26.300 censor people from repeating it. Over the weekend, Adam Kinzinger highlighted the number three Republican

00:10:34.720 in the House, Elise Stefanik's use of the white replacement theory in an ad. He wrote,

00:10:39.040 did you know that Elise Stefanik pushes white replacement theory, the number three in the House GOP? 1.00

00:10:44.220 Liz Cheney got removed for demanding the truth. The Republican leader should be asked about this.

00:10:49.220 It's not just Elise Stefanik. If you watch Fox News, this is the mainstay of their primetime hours.

00:10:56.940 Tucker Carlson discusses it in sometimes euphemistic form, but not really that all that euphemistic.

00:11:02.980 What does this country do about the way in which this idea of white replacement has just become part 0.95

00:11:09.460 of our politics? It's a really, really tough question because we don't have, you know,

00:11:15.040 legal instruments in this country to restrain radical speech in that way.

00:11:21.200 We don't have it. And he goes on, he says, look, I'm not calling for it. I like free speech,

00:11:25.200 but we just don't have the opportunity when people spread the replacement conspiracy theory.

00:11:33.880 Unfortunately, this misinformation, disinformation spreads. So that's the line coming from CNN.

00:11:39.780 A little bit confusing because the line coming from the New York Times right now is the opposite.

00:11:45.620 The New York Times, very same day, published a column saying, not denying great replacement theory,

00:11:51.760 but saying, no, great replacement theory is happening. It's always been happening and it's a

00:11:56.000 very good thing. You know what's a really good thing? Good, fresh American meat like you get from

00:12:01.400 Good Ranchers. Right now, go to goodranchers.com slash Knowles. You should do this just generally.

00:13:18.480 The libs need to get on a list serve or something. They need to sit down, have a meeting, get on the same 1.00

00:13:24.180 talking points. Because they are telling us simultaneously that great replacement theory

00:13:29.100 is fake. It's the most racist, kooky, conspiratorial thing anyone's ever heard. And also that it's real

00:13:37.640 and has always been happening and it's a great thing. This column just came out by Brett Stevens,

00:13:42.140 who used to be kind of conservative and now I don't think one would really call him a conservative.

00:13:46.800 And he's at the New York Times, so there you have it. He writes, it's the first paragraph of the

00:13:50.840 column. In the broadest sense, what goes by the name replacement theory, the idea that American

00:13:56.020 elites are conspiring to replace so-called real Americans with immigrants from poor countries

00:13:59.640 is merely a description of the American way, enshrined in tradition codified by law,

00:14:05.080 promoted by successive generations of American leaders from Washington to Lincoln to Kennedy

00:14:10.860 and Reagan. He goes on, blah, blah, blah, blah. What all of this says is that the phenomenon of

00:14:18.400 replacement writ large is America and has been from the beginning, sometimes by force, mostly by choice.

00:14:26.820 What the far right calls replacement is better described as renewal.

00:14:33.760 Points for half honesty. His account of history is a little weak, though he makes some interesting

00:14:39.280 points in the column. It is not the case, as I think Brett Stevens is insinuating and as Joe Biden

00:14:44.640 said infamously and explicitly that America has just been an endless stream of migration from the

00:14:51.140 very beginning. That's not true. We've had laws throughout the history of our country that almost

00:14:55.720 shut down immigration for large periods of time and greatly restricted immigration and controlled

00:15:00.140 immigration so as not to upset political balances in the country for long periods of American history.

00:15:06.300 And then over the last 50 years, we've completely gotten rid of those restrictions,

00:15:09.980 opened the floodgates to an immigration regime specifically designed to give advantage to Democrats.

00:15:17.220 So that's just what's happening right now. Now you're seeing record immigration,

00:15:20.360 not just at the legal level, million legal immigrants per year, but at the illegal level,

00:15:24.220 two million illegal immigrants per year. So three million total who skewed dramatically Democratic.

00:15:30.360 Now, we are seeing some movement of Hispanics into the GOP camp, but overall,

00:15:34.140 the effect is undeniably in favor of Democrats. And Brett Stevens says this is renewal. This is renewal.

00:15:43.160 So, which is it? I'm really torn here because if I said on this show, if I said on this show,

00:15:50.440 what Brett Stevens has said, if I said on this show, what Joe Biden has said, if I said on this show,

00:15:56.960 what countless libs have said on MSNBC, on CNN, Joe Scarborough says Demographics is Destiny, CNN,

00:16:06.320 the New York Times, the Washington Post, all saying yes, even left-wing political scientists that have

00:16:13.160 been saying this now for 20 years, that yes, immigration policy is going to doom the Republican

00:16:17.720 Party. The point of the immigration policy is to specifically to reduce the percentage of white 0.93

00:16:23.700 voters in America because we, the Democrats, believe that if we have more Hispanic voters in

00:16:28.220 America and from other regions too, but especially Hispanic voters, that that is going to give us a

00:16:32.620 permanent majority. If I said that, if I made those substantive claims right now rather than just

00:16:38.480 merely discussing them in historical context, my Wikipedia page would be changed and they would 0.69

00:16:43.720 say Michael Knowles is a far-right crazy conspiracy theorist, white supremacist, bigot, neo-Nazi, 0.95

00:16:50.440 the guy's worse than Adolf Hitler. If I just made the exact same claims that Joe Biden, now I guess 0.99

00:16:58.620 Brett Stevens, CNN, MSNBC, all the rest of them. Michael Anton at the Claremont Institute has described

00:17:06.960 this bizarre phenomenon that we're living in, which goes actually even a lot deeper than a

00:17:12.300 replacement or immigration or anything else. We're in a phenomenon now where the left gets to say

00:17:17.280 something and then we repeat the same thing that the left said and the left gets angry at us for

00:17:25.380 repeating it. The comparisons to 1984, I think, are tedious sometimes, but here is a place where it's

00:17:32.780 probably apt. We are being forced to lie. We are being forced to deny what we see with our own lying

00:17:39.300 eyes and hear with our own lying ears. All the while, the left smirks and contradicts itself and brags

00:17:45.680 about it and boasts because they have got the power. Which is it? I don't know. It's not happening and it's

00:17:53.400 good that it is. This is what we've heard from the beginning on so many of these issues. Critical race 0.86

00:17:59.980 theory is not being taught in schools and it's good that it is. Transgenderism is not being pushed on

00:18:04.760 little kids and it's good that it is. The replacement theory, replacement migration is not happening and it's a

00:18:11.260 good thing that it is. It's a renewal because of all you stale, disgusting Americans. That you guys are 0.99

00:18:17.140 bad. The people who were born in America, you guys are bad. You're disgusting. You're lazy. You're just 1.00

00:18:22.660 awful. You're stale. You're decaying the country. So we need renewal according to the New York Times. 1.00

00:18:27.420 So they say. Why don't we trust the media? With such honesty as they've shown, why don't we trust the

00:18:35.260 media? Glenn Greenwald, who is, I always thought of him as a leftist, left-wing journalist, but he's

00:18:42.100 said some things now that the right really likes. He put together a phenomenal supercut of probably my

00:18:47.820 least favorite host on MSNBC. I find her to be the most grating and the most dishonest and the most 1.00

00:18:53.400 strident. Nicole Wallace. Nicole Wallace on MSNBC has the audacity to accuse conservatives of spreading 0.99

00:18:59.940 misinformation. Here is just a sliver of the kind of misinformation you see, specifically from her,

00:19:08.440 just one woman on just one network, MSNBC. 0.61

00:19:12.620 Donald Trump to now investigate a conspiracy theory about COVID coming from a lab in Wuhan.

00:19:18.620 This theory needs to be investigated, which is what President Biden is doing. Hunter Biden's laptop

00:19:23.520 reveals emails. We shouldn't look at it as anything other than a Russian disinformation operation.

00:19:28.640 The Hunter Biden laptop material is genuine. The murder of a police officer. Officer Brian Sicknick

00:19:34.720 was killed in the line of duty. They beat a Capitol Police officer to death. Officer Sicknick died of

00:19:40.760 natural causes. The Steele dossier. It may be dirty, but it ain't fake. Obviously, the Steele dossier is

00:19:46.360 discredited by far action. I mean, this is the lunatic response to what is a very rational,

00:19:51.960 evidence-based, fact-based investigation. FBI pleads guilty to doctoring email. What the report shows is

00:19:57.580 something that won't be surprising to people that have spent a lot of time in the federal

00:20:01.560 government. The report left former officials aghast. The FBI is exonerated today. It doesn't

00:20:07.760 vindicate anyone at the FBI who touched this. They are all absolved of any wrongdoing. The activities

00:20:12.900 we've had here don't vindicate anybody. The Trump administration cleared peaceful Black Lives Matter

00:20:17.760 protesters so the president could take a photo in front of a church. We did not find evidence that

00:20:23.220 federal agents used CS gas. This goes on for minutes. And this is just one little cut that

00:20:30.440 one journalist made about one of the establishment propagandists on just one of the establishment

00:20:35.800 propaganda networks. Just one. And I know, if you're listening to this show, you probably have

00:20:41.680 a healthy skepticism of the establishment media. But even I, grizzled, jaded as I am,

00:20:48.980 watching that back to back to back to back. Even I was shocked. The lies that just, just this one

00:20:56.060 woman on just this one network is spreading. And the crazy part is, they all do it. They all do it.

00:21:04.040 It's not just her. And it's not just that network. It's all of them. And they do it all the time.

00:21:09.860 And the crazier part is, tonight, people, even if they saw that clip, tonight, people are going to go

00:21:15.460 home. Or they're going to be walking in the airport, more likely, if they're watching CNN or

00:21:19.160 MSNBC. And they're going to watch that. And the people in the clothing with the serious faces are

00:21:24.000 going to go there. And they're going to say a bunch of BS again. And a lot of people are going to believe

00:21:28.180 it. This is why, this is why I don't give any credence to the Elon thing. I don't know whether

00:21:36.540 Elon propositioned a masseuse or not. I'm not even particularly interested in this alleged incident

00:21:43.900 that happened six years ago. Because once you see it, you can't unsee it. Once you see that the

00:21:52.660 establishment press are not there to report the news, once you see that the establishment press

00:21:58.300 have no regard for truth, and they actually seem to have a pretty strong contempt for truth,

00:22:04.460 when you see that they are only there to advance the Democrat party line, the liberal political line,

00:22:10.560 the left, the establishment, use whatever word you want, you become so repulsed.

00:22:19.560 It's even sort of depressing. Because we all wish that we could live in that time that we were told

00:22:25.360 existed in the past, though it probably never really did exist, where we could trust our newsmen,

00:22:30.040 where we all just, we, listen, you're entitled to your own opinion, but you're not entitled to your

00:22:33.680 own facts, okay? And we can all agree on some basic things. No, that doesn't exist. That doesn't

00:22:38.520 exist. The institutions that are most demanding of our trust are the most corrupt. And so I don't

00:22:45.820 believe a damn word these people say. And every time one of them parrots some line about how bad 0.97

00:22:52.520 Elon Musk is, my admiration for him increases. My likelihood of supporting him increases significantly.

00:23:00.320 The fake news is running amok. And it's at the very same time that the government is trying to

00:23:07.060 establish new censorship boards to censor people for saying the opposite of the misinformation that

00:23:11.660 they themselves are spreading. So now they're trying to set up an enforcement mechanism in the government

00:23:15.480 to stop you from telling the truth. Now, some conservatives are pushing back. There was a

00:23:23.820 delightful moment in the Senate yesterday when a Democrat senator gets up and starts spouting the 0.97

00:23:30.840 same dumb slogans that we've been hearing now since Donald Trump was elected, which is that the 0.94

00:23:35.660 Republicans, beep, boop, the Republicans are controlled by Putin. Beep, beep, boop. They're 0.99

00:23:41.580 the pro-Russia party. Beep, beep, beep, boop. And it's totally contrary to the facts. And Senator Cruz gets

00:23:47.500 up there because Senator Cruz, you know I love the guy. I host a podcast with him. I know the guy

00:23:54.500 pretty well. And I know one of his great strengths is he knows the rules of the Senate. He knows how

00:24:02.200 to move levers of power. And he knows how to crush a guy in an argument. Okay? He knows how to find the

00:24:09.200 weakness in the argument. He knows exactly how to twist it. That was his career. He was a prosecutor,

00:24:13.320 solicitor general of Texas, argued cases before the Supreme Court. So he sees his opening,

00:24:17.500 and he takes it. Will the senator yield for questions early? Just a moment ago, the senator

00:24:24.640 from Ohio made reference to the alleged existence of a so-called Putin wing of the Republican Party.

00:24:31.200 I'd like to ask the senator from Ohio, is it accurate that the senator from Ohio and 43 of his

00:24:36.640 Democratic colleagues in January of this year voted against sanctioning Nord Stream 2, sanctioning Russia,

00:24:44.060 sanctioning Putin, despite the fact that Ukraine begged the Senate to pass those sanctions,

00:24:51.020 and Putin invaded Ukraine just days after 44 Democrats sided with Russia and Putin?

00:24:57.500 I take back my time. I've heard nobody talk about the Putin wing of the Democratic Party. No Democrat

00:25:09.820 believes that. Brutal. I love his, could I just raise a question? Oh, sure. Yes. The senator from Texas.

00:25:17.660 Okay. It's like out of My Cousin Vinny, everything that guy just said is complete BS. Cruz gets up there

00:25:25.120 and he says, so you're making this allegation that the Republicans are the pro-Putin party. Is it not,

00:25:29.940 in fact, the case that you Democrats are the ones who lifted the sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline,

00:25:35.740 which Ukrainian President Zelensky himself says was the cause of the war? The sanctions that I,

00:25:42.040 Ted Cruz, and we, the Republicans, put into place specifically to stop the invasion of Ukraine,

00:25:46.660 and that you guys lifted. And then what is this Democrat senator? He says, ah,

00:25:51.640 can I have a redo? Can I take my time back? I'm not going to answer that. And then the best part of

00:25:59.680 it all is the best answer he can muster after he stammers for a little bit is, I've never heard

00:26:05.280 anyone say that the Democrats are the pro-Putin party. Right. You've never heard anyone say that

00:26:12.020 because you're all liars and hacks and propagandists. I've never heard anyone say that 0.98

00:26:17.160 on CNN. Right. Because CNN is dishonest. I've never read that anywhere in the New York Times. Uh-huh.

00:26:22.700 Right. Because the New York Times are liars. The reporters and the editors, less so the reporters, 0.96

00:26:28.860 certainly the editors, are liars there. That's why you haven't heard it. But you'll notice Cruz's

00:26:35.160 question wasn't about things people have said. It was about concrete actions. He says, what? Huh?

00:26:42.800 What vote? The vote you took, Bella. Okay. All right. Back to the narrative. No more talk about

00:26:48.380 actions. No more talk about things that people have actually done. We're just going to go back

00:26:52.720 to the narrative. Sometimes you can see those cracks in the narrative. One piece of the Democrat narrative

00:26:57.320 that has just collapsed because of reality came all the way back to the 2020 presidential debates

00:27:04.040 when President Trump was hammering Joe Biden over his family's obvious corruption, selling American

00:27:11.800 influence to Ukraine, selling American influence to China, and Hunter Biden making a ton of money on

00:27:18.000 this and potentially giving a 10% kick back to the big guy, the big guy being his father. So you had

00:27:24.060 Trump going after this and Joe Biden, who's usually pretty good at giving himself some wiggle room,

00:27:29.760 he's usually good at giving himself an out. He made a declarative statement. He said,

00:27:33.220 my son, he couldn't say my son hasn't made any money in Ukraine because that was so obvious and

00:27:38.360 already proven. He said, my son has not made any money in China.

00:27:45.820 My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about? China.

00:27:53.180 In terms of, what are you talking about? Oh yeah, China. He hasn't made any money. NBC just came out

00:27:57.520 with this report. In the space of five years, 2013 to 2018, Hunter Biden inked two deals with Chinese

00:28:03.960 business interests for a total of $5.8 million. This accounted for a little more than half of the

00:28:11.700 money that his fake company brought in during this time. The company brought in $11 million. The rest

00:28:16.480 of the money, or a lot of the rest of the money came from Ukraine, by the way, but $5.8 million came

00:28:21.140 from China. So the official line previously had been, Hunter explored some business deals in China,

00:28:26.660 but they didn't actually sign any deals. Well, not true. He actually made almost $6 million from China.

00:28:30.960 For what? For what? For his expertise? For his paintings? For his chop suey recipe? What? What did

00:28:40.700 Hunter Biden give to China that earned him almost $6 million? He has nothing to offer.

00:28:47.740 I was going to say he could offer crack or hookers, but he can't, he actually can't offer that. People 0.93

00:28:54.500 offer that to him. So what did he offer? He offered access to his father. He offered

00:29:01.740 the United States. He offered the public trust. That's what he offered. And he got paid almost

00:29:06.820 $6 million for it. No, this is completely false. This would never, and by the way, if you suggested

00:29:14.640 over the past two years that the Bidens made money in China, and you said that on the show,

00:29:21.560 if you made a declarative statement, if you said that on social media, you would be hit with a fact

00:29:25.120 check. Fact check, 20,000 Pinocchios, false. You would have your content suppressed by the social

00:29:31.660 media algorithms. You would be, to some degree, pushed out of the public square for saying something

00:29:39.220 that was completely true. Speaking of sexual deviance, Hunter Biden's the topic. Speaking

00:29:46.540 of sexual deviance, a federal judge has just ruled that an Indiana middle school must let boys into

00:29:52.720 the girls' room, into the little girls' bathroom. Federal judge ruled this on Monday. Judge Tanya

00:30:01.080 Walton-Pratt is her name, an Obama appointee, no surprise, has rejected the request of the Martinsville

00:30:07.360 School District in Martinsville, Indiana, to delay enforcement of an April ruling at John R. Wood

00:30:12.920 Middle School that lets the boys go into the girls' room. Here's the judge's reasoning. Judge says,

00:30:18.880 this speculative harm that could be caused by boys using the girls' room is both unsupported by any

00:30:25.060 evidence and appears questionable, given that the school district allows other transgender students

00:30:29.540 to use the restrooms associated with their gender identity. So yeah, the issue at hand

00:30:34.720 is whether or not boys should be able to use the girls' room, period. Right? It's not just in this 0.77

00:30:41.880 one case, but in other schools and other parts of the district, maybe they can. You're saying,

00:30:46.580 this judge is saying, the speculative harm is both unsupported by any evidence and appears questionable.

00:30:53.280 Remember last year? You remember the story that got Glenn Youngkin elected in Virginia? You remember

00:30:59.020 the story that the Daily Wire broke, that the establishment media tried to cover up? You remember how

00:31:03.600 a boy raped a girl, 14-year-old, 15-year-old, in a girl's bathroom because the boy was allowed to go 0.89

00:31:12.120 into the bathroom, a boy who wore a skirt. And then they covered it up, the school covered it up, 0.96

00:31:15.760 transferred him to a different school, and then it happened again. Speculative harm. There's no evidence

00:31:21.160 of this at all. Totally speculative, totally. It's not questionable at all. It's a fact. We see it with

00:31:24.980 our own eyes. We see the news stories. We hear what happened. We can listen to the testimony of the

00:31:30.140 girl's father. And you tell us, no, it's not happening at all. No, don't believe it. We're

00:31:35.060 so concerned. We're so concerned with sexual harassment that we're going to try to take down

00:31:40.940 Elon Musk the minute he threatens our power. We're going to let boys into the girls' room to do all 1.00

00:31:45.060 sorts of heinous crimes. That's, we're going to turn a blind. That's actually very important for equity

00:31:49.600 and justice and whatever. But we're, believe us on the news and on sexual morality and on the public

00:31:57.180 trust. Believe us. We've got your interests at heart. If you believe that, I got a bridge in

00:32:00.980 Brooklyn to sell you. So here's the problem with a lot of the establishment media shows.

00:32:06.820 They drone on and on and on. But that is not the case with the Sunday special, this weekend edition

00:32:11.200 of the Ben Shapiro show. Ben talks to the guests who hold different points of view. You think that

00:32:16.540 mainstream establishment shows would have Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Matthew Iglesias, and Jordan Peterson on

00:32:20.720 as guests? No way. Like everything at The Daily Wire, we are not afraid to follow the truth

00:32:25.020 wherever it goes. You'll find that with our upcoming documentary with Candace Owens called

00:32:29.140 The Greatest Lie Ever Told, a hard-hitting expose about the death of George Floyd and the rise of

00:32:32.940 BLM. You'll also find it on this week's episode of the Sunday special with Ben's guest, Jonathan

00:32:37.720 Isaac. He'll be discussing Why I Stand, the new book that he just released with The Daily Wire.

00:32:42.440 Isaac was the lone NBA player not to kneel for the national anthem during a league-wide demonstration

00:32:47.740 in support of BLM. Sunday special is available Sunday morning, wherever you get your podcasts. So tune

00:34:52.900 Michael Knowles Show, click on the mailbag button, drop your audio file in there, and you could be

00:34:57.040 heard on this show. All right. First question. Hey, Michael, big fan of you personally and the show.

00:35:04.040 So my question is, what should the Republican Party do about the changing demographics?

00:35:11.960 I'm asking you and not the other hosts because I think you have a very important voice in the

00:35:22.240 Republican Party because I see you as very loyal to the Republican Party, but I also see you as very

00:35:28.220 critical of the Republican Party. And so I think you're an important voice in it. I noticed that

00:35:33.800 you are very critical of the left in the gaslighting of the country regarding the changing demographics.

00:35:43.960 But I also noticed that you didn't deny the claims that they're making that demographics are changing.

00:35:52.800 But surely you do not accept the premise that demographics are destiny. So what should the

00:36:00.160 RNC's strategy be to make inroads in these minority communities that are growing at a faster rate

00:36:07.480 than the Caucasian community? Really good question, which you're absolutely not allowed to ask or even

00:36:15.760 suggest is happening unless you're a leftist, in which case you laugh about it and brag about it for

00:36:20.540 20 years. This is a leftist political strategy. The libs don't care about Hispanic people. The libs don't 0.99

00:36:27.840 care about the poor foreign nationals who want to come into the country. The libs don't care about 1.00

00:36:32.120 any of that. The libs care about power. And they are trying to make this about race or white supremacy 0.99

00:36:39.360 or whatever so that you shut up and so that you let them take over the country and establish what 0.92

00:36:45.560 they believe will be a permanent majority. There is some reason for hope that Hispanics will, 1.00

00:36:50.740 over the course of time, become more Republican. You are seeing that happen right now,

00:36:54.380 but it's not happening fast enough. And so the effect of mass migration is exactly as the left

00:37:02.860 thought it would be, which is that it is benefiting Democrats. So what should the Republicans do? The

00:37:08.020 Republicans have to stop it. This is not a race thing. This is not about defending white supremacy.

00:37:15.860 This is about defending really basic aspects of our law and political culture.

00:37:21.380 If you have a country and then you open up the borders of that country and you let an unlimited 1.00

00:37:28.900 number of foreigners pour into the country and have many of, if not all of the rights of American 0.99

00:37:34.060 citizens, you just don't have a country anymore. That's wrong. It's wrong for everybody who is in 1.00

00:37:39.220 the country. And so we have to stop that. I always loved the squishy Republicans when they would try to

00:37:45.180 push for amnesty. They would say, well, what are we going to do with the, at the time they would say

00:37:51.360 11 million illegal aliens in the country. It's probably much higher now. What are we, what are

00:37:54.900 we going to do with them? We can't just let them continue to remain in this legally dubious state.

00:38:00.600 And my answer is, uh, why not? Why can't we? We broke, they broke the law. We're not deporting

00:38:10.640 them. We should deport a great many of them at the very least, but we're not, we're not deporting

00:38:15.320 them. We're not harassing them. We're not throwing them in gulags. Why do we have to give them the

00:38:19.640 rights of citizenship? Why don't we just let them be as they are? They knew, they knew that that when

00:38:24.900 they came into the country, they were told that was the absolute best they could ever get. They signed up

00:38:28.820 for it. We have given them the courtesy of not deporting them. So why do we also have to give

00:38:34.260 them voting? Oh, we, we only have to give them voting rights because the Democrats think it'll 1.00

00:38:37.100 help them. So the first thing we have to do is just stop it. The vast majority of Americans want

00:38:44.140 to drastically reduce, not just illegal immigration, but legal immigration too. We're just taking in too 0.95

00:38:49.060 many people. For the last 60 years, since the Democrats changed the immigration laws to give

00:38:53.420 themselves what they thought was a, what they expect to be a permanent majority, we have seen the

00:38:57.800 largest movement of people ever in recorded history. That's not sustainable. And it's not

00:39:04.320 just the Democrats. You say I'm a very loyal Republican. I think I'm probably the most loyal

00:39:08.520 Republican, one of the most loyal Republicans in the conservative movement. But as you say,

00:39:12.320 I'm also probably one of the most critical people of the Republican party in the movement,

00:39:16.700 because I, I, I know those things seem like they're in conflict, but I don't think they are.

00:39:21.020 I understand politics is a team sport. And if you want to pretend that you're high and mighty and

00:39:24.780 above it all, you're not going to actually accomplish anything in politics. That's why

00:39:27.720 you need parties. But the other part of that is if the party is not doing anything and the party is

00:39:33.120 actually in many ways allowing the left to destroy the country, well then that party is not worth

00:39:37.520 anything either. So you need the loyalty, but you need the tough love too. And there is an economic

00:39:42.020 incentive for the business Republicans to encourage mass migration, because as many people have pointed

00:39:48.240 out, we have a below replacement birth rate in America. So you would have a declining

00:39:52.620 population if not for mass migration. And that would not be great for the entitlement programs.

00:39:57.780 And that would not be great for GDP. And that would not be great for the capitalists in running

00:40:02.160 the corporations. And so they encourage that sort of thing too. And the Democrats get what they want,

00:40:07.560 which is their political power. And the big corporations get what they want, namely to keep

00:40:14.320 labor wages low and keep the GDP up. But the American people don't get to keep their traditions,

00:40:20.820 their culture, their political institutions, their system of law. And so we need to assert our rights

00:40:25.700 as well. You don't need to be afraid of being called a racist or a white supremacist or whatever.

00:40:31.600 They're going to call you that anyway. You don't need to make this issue about racial essentialism or

00:40:36.220 identitarianism or whatever. You just need to point out, hey, you libs are pursuing a very specific

00:40:42.380 political strategy to gain political power by changing the electorate. And we're not going to

00:40:48.860 let you do that. It's a cynical strategy. It's an opportunistic strategy. And we're going to say no.

00:40:53.860 Next question.

00:40:54.580 Hi, Michael. How young is too young to start investing yourself into politics?

00:41:00.060 I'm 13 and started listening to all of the Daily Wire shows every day after school at the start of

00:41:04.380 February after finding my dad on the website, reading an article. I have 150 plus IQ and I have

00:41:10.200 a knack for debate. Am I ready to, with my dad watching from a safe distance, do a prove me wrong

00:41:16.080 out in public or should I wait a few years? Thanks. Love the show.

00:41:20.000 Well, very kind. You should wait a few years. You are too young. You are not too young to be

00:41:24.780 involved in politics. You could run for student government. That'll teach you more about politics

00:41:29.200 than any sort of debates you do out in public. You could maybe get involved volunteering for a

00:41:35.380 campaign. Not sure what the rules are depending on age, but you could maybe get involved in a

00:41:39.220 campaign if you really want to in some more private capacity. I do not think you should make

00:41:46.280 yourself a public figure at 13. The very fact that you're telling me how high your IQ is

00:41:52.440 shows you the risks of going out in public because just as a political matter, when you tell people

00:41:59.820 how high your IQ is, they don't like that very much. So I'm not even denying that you have a very

00:42:03.400 high IQ. You seem obviously very precocious, very intelligent. You're listening to all these

00:42:07.680 shows at a very young age. That's very, very impressive. But you are too young to be a political

00:42:12.880 figure. And furthermore, even if you have a very high IQ, you almost certainly don't know a lot of

00:42:19.200 things. You just haven't had enough time to learn a lot of things. I'm talking about book learning,

00:42:24.160 but then especially experience. And politics is a lot about experience. And politics is a lot about

00:42:29.880 relationships. And politics is a lot about a maturity that can only come with time, that actually

00:42:35.320 can't be learned in a book or cannot be intuited merely through the use of your unfettered reason.

00:42:40.220 So I would encourage you. I know I was a precocious young kid too. I have been a political

00:42:46.060 animal since I was very young. I campaigned in my first grade classroom for Bob Dole. That is not

00:42:51.220 a joke. I really, I don't know why I like Bob Dole so much, but I really liked him. And I've been

00:42:55.600 interested in politics from a very young age. If you become a public figure when you're really,

00:43:01.920 really young, you will make mistakes. You will say things that you ultimately will not believe.

00:43:05.300 You will embarrass yourself in many ways because that's just what teenagers do. Teenagers embarrass

00:43:11.260 themselves. That's the way their brains work. That's the way their behavior is. Almost without

00:43:17.100 exception. Wait. Read a lot of books. Listen to the podcasts. Pay attention to politics. Do all of

00:43:25.000 those things. Figure out what you really believe. Get a little experience behind the scenes. And then

00:43:30.640 you will be in such a much better position when you're older. When you're, I'm not even saying

00:43:35.760 that much older, but when you're 19, 20, when you're still very young, but you'll have a little

00:43:40.720 bit more, a little bit more experience, a little bit more knowledge. And you will be less likely to

00:43:47.620 make errors that in our age of social media and the internet is forever that could really damage your

00:43:52.860 future. Next question. Hi, Mr. Knowles. My name is Kyle. I'm a conservative from Chicago. And my

00:43:58.720 question is, well, when discussing abortion with the leftists, they will often say, you know, well,

00:44:02.880 it's the woman's body. It's feeding the baby, keeping it alive inside her womb, etc. You've

00:44:07.620 probably heard it before. You definitely have. Because, well, yeah, I guess, you know, if you

00:44:11.540 take a baby out of the womb at an early stage, it probably won't survive. So I'm kind of at a loss

00:44:15.760 as to what to say to this. So, of course, I have come to the expert. How would you respond to this

00:44:20.700 argument? Thanks a ton. Love the show, Michael. Great question. The question is, how do you respond to

00:44:26.840 those abortions? It was a little muddled what he said, but I think what I heard was

00:44:30.520 the baby needs the mother. The baby needs the mother, can't survive outside the womb, 1.00

00:44:36.720 so the mother has the right to kill the baby. I don't understand how that second part follows

00:44:40.820 from the first part. Unless you believe that we don't have any obligations to anyone else,

00:44:46.160 unless you adopt some insane, ahistorical, philosophically incoherent position that we are

00:44:53.500 all just pure individuals who can do whatever we want with our own bodies at any given time.

00:44:58.220 And we have no obligations to anyone else. A mother has obligations to her baby. Let's say

00:45:03.980 the baby's born. Goes through the whole pregnancy, the baby's born, the baby's now six months old

00:45:08.220 outside the womb. And the mother leaves the baby in a car. Right? His mother's going to go grocery 0.97

00:45:16.300 shopping, leaves the baby in a car. By the time the mother comes out, someone sees the baby's in the car,

00:45:20.880 that mother would be arrested for neglect, for child abuse. But it's the mother's body. The 0.94

00:45:27.140 mother can do whatever the mother wants. No, the mother has obligations. So if the mother has an 1.00

00:45:31.060 obligation to the baby outside of the womb, if the mother can be prosecuted for what the mother does

00:45:37.040 or does not do, or just withholds from the baby outside of the womb, why would the mother not have 0.72

00:45:44.200 obligations to the baby inside of the womb? At least the very basic obligation not to kill the baby.

00:45:50.880 So it's such a disingenuous argument from the libs because the libs say, look,

00:45:55.100 the baby isn't viable. The baby isn't autonomous. The baby can't survive without the mother. And so

00:45:59.440 the mother has every right to withhold that support. Okay. That isn't a good argument,

00:46:04.800 but let's just accept that premise for a second. A baby can survive outside the womb these days at

00:46:09.360 21 weeks sometimes. So, okay, pro-abortion person, are you willing to ban abortion after 21 weeks?

00:46:16.860 No, none of them are going to do that. Why? The baby can survive outside the womb now. 0.52

00:46:23.700 So all the mother's got to do is just deliver the live baby. The mother's going to have to deliver a 1.00

00:46:29.620 dead baby if she gets an abortion. The baby's got to come out somehow. So the mother can either 1.00

00:46:33.420 deliver a dead baby or a live baby. So if the baby can survive outside the womb, why not just skip the

00:46:38.900 step of the abortionist killing the baby and deliver the baby? You don't ever have to think about the baby 0.99

00:46:42.940 again. Would you be willing to give that up? No. They would never do it. And it shows you how

00:46:47.380 disingenuous they are. All right. Next question. Hey, Michael. So I have made some huge improvements

00:46:54.460 to my life in the last year as I finally escaped the left and the toxic ideologies that I adopted

00:47:00.100 during college. It started with me watching Jordan Peterson, and I have gradually found myself

00:47:05.200 becoming more and more conservative. I feel hugely grateful to The Daily Wire for helping me make sense

00:47:11.360 of the brainwashing and misery I experienced as a leftist atheist. I even recently ended my

00:47:18.100 relationship with my liberal fiancé because it was clear that he and I no longer had shared goals

00:47:23.420 or values. My family and friends are understandably really confused by my political and religious

00:47:29.820 transformation. So my question is, do you have any advice for new conservatives? Huge fan of the show.

00:47:37.000 Thanks. I do. I have lots of advice for new conservatives. You've already done probably

00:47:43.940 the most difficult thing that you would have to do that is the right thing to do. I am not saying

00:47:51.700 that you can't have couples with mixed politics. I'm not even saying you can't have couples with

00:47:56.880 mixed religion, although that's much harder. But what you're describing, your disagreement with your

00:48:03.500 fiancé, your ex-fiancé, doesn't sound like it's a disagreement over marginal tax rates. It sounds

00:48:09.280 like it's a disagreement on really fundamental questions. What is society? What is the human

00:48:13.620 person? What is a marriage? You need to agree on that before you get married. And if you don't agree

00:48:21.540 on that and you come to realizations later, some people do that, you have to work very hard to make

00:48:25.440 sure you get on the same page. You both have to be doing the same thing. That is very important. So

00:48:30.800 you've come to this realization that the liberal secular worldview is just crap and it's going to 1.00

00:48:36.300 give people a bad life. And so now you're pursuing something different. Your family will think you're 0.99

00:48:41.320 crazy. Your friends will think you're crazy. My advice for you is to be patient with them, 0.99

00:48:46.240 to be confident in the decisions that you've made, and to be curious so that you don't merely remain

00:48:52.380 where you are in your thought. You've realized that what you were doing was wrong and what you

00:48:58.480 previously believed is wrong. You've realized that and you've saw it and you can't unsee it.

00:49:02.500 So now you're kind of following this and you started listening to Jordan Peterson and I guess

00:49:06.500 you started listening to me and then you started reading things and watching things. Keep going,

00:49:10.820 keep going and let that deepen. Politically, certainly let that deepen and then culturally let

00:49:15.540 that deepen and then ultimately religiously let that deepen. You mentioned that your religious

00:49:20.040 views have changed as well. Of course, all human conflict is theological. It always comes back to

00:49:24.140 religion. Follow that as well. Patience is a virtue. That's patience for the friends and family who

00:49:29.920 rightly are shocked by what's going on. Confidence, you've seen it. You can't unsee it. And then the

00:49:37.720 curiosity and humility to continue to follow that, see where it goes. That would be my advice. Well

00:49:43.840 done. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show. See you next week.
