Justin Trudeau tests positive for COVID for the second time this year, but he says it's because he got his flu shot. What does that mean for the rest of us? And what does it mean for society as a whole?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 The triple vaccinated prime minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau has just tested positive for COVID
00:00:06.200 for the second time this year. So naturally, Trudeau expressed his gratitude for having been
00:00:14.300 vaccinated. He said, quote, I've tested positive for COVID-19. I'm just doing my Jordan Peterson
00:00:20.360 impression. That's the, I have a kind of generic Canadian. Anyway, he said, I've tested positive
00:00:25.060 for COVID-19. I'll be following public health guidelines and isolating. I feel okay, but
00:00:31.180 that's because I got my shots. So if you haven't get vaccinated and if you can get boosted, let's
00:00:38.620 protect our healthcare system, each other and ourselves. What? Why, how does that follow? How
00:00:45.420 does that conclusion follow from that premise? It's like saying I I've flown through my windshield
00:00:51.940 again. I feel okay, but that's because I wore my seatbelt. I sunk to the bottom of the ocean,
00:00:58.260 but I feel okay because I put on my life preserver. Does not follow. The purpose of the vaccines was
00:01:06.260 to prevent people from catching and spreading COVID. That's what everyone told us. Fauci,
00:01:11.820 Walensky, Biden. And then that turned out to be totally fake. But because they made their false
00:01:19.260 claims on the authority of the science, they have to keep up the lie because they can't admit that
00:01:26.080 the science was wrong. But the science was wrong and not just about COVID. The science that the libs
00:01:33.880 are pushing hardest right now, the science of transgender children is collapsing in real time.
00:01:40.460 And the libs refuse to admit it. And the poor confused kids on whom they're conducting their
00:01:46.080 experiments are being forced to pay the enormous price. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael
00:01:51.520 Knowles Show. As Justin Trudeau famously said, clean your room and make your bed and eat the
00:02:03.420 lobsters. No, I need to work. I need more. If you if anyone has any advice on how to get different
00:02:07.940 Canadian accents, that would be great. My favorite comment yesterday is from Cool Papa J Magic,
00:02:12.620 who says we are seeing the fruits of the you do you approach to society. No pun intended.
00:02:19.180 I think people are finally realizing that what people do in their personal lives absolutely
00:02:24.040 affects society as a whole because we are not solitary beings. Moral standards matter. Yes,
00:02:29.560 thank you. Finally, we realize that it doesn't matter how great a constitution you have. Doesn't
00:02:34.960 matter what beautiful founding documents and even what wonderful laws you have enshrined in stone
00:02:41.780 tablets all around your society. If the people are degenerates, you're going to have a degenerate
00:02:47.160 society. There's just no way of avoiding that because society is people. OK, and if we want to
00:02:54.580 have a good society, we got to act right. We got to sit up right when you want to have really good
00:02:58.520 posture and feel good while you're sitting. You got to check out your ex chair right now. Go to
00:03:02.860 xchairknolls.com. Do it right now because this is the sort of thing that's really easy to put off,
00:03:08.240 but it's so important for your daily life. How much time do you spend every day in your office chair?
00:03:15.520 You probably spend more time in your office chair than you do in your, certainly in your car,
00:03:19.680 probably than you do in your bed too. So what kind of office chair are you sitting in? If you're like
00:03:25.760 I used to be, you just sit in kind of whatever chair they give you. Who cares? You don't even think
00:03:30.060 about it. But this is hours and hours of your day. How many hundreds, thousands of hours of your life?
00:03:36.220 Make sure that you're sitting in a way that's going to make you more productive.
00:03:39.900 It's going to make you feel more comfortable. It's going to be totally aligned for you.
00:03:43.580 It's going to be your ex chair. Not only does ex chair's patented dynamic variable lumbar
00:03:49.380 or DDL offer the ultimate customized support, but the ex chair can even give you a massage.
00:03:56.400 It can heat you up. It can cool you down. It is great.
00:03:59.460 My only complaint about the ex chair is when it arrived here at the Daily Wire,
00:04:02.740 all these jackals here at the Daily Wire tried to steal my ex chair. Okay, get yours today right
00:04:07.700 now. Go to xchairknolls.com. That is X, the letter X, chair, K-N-O-W-L-E-S dot com or call
00:04:13.980 1-844-4-X-CHAIR. Do it right now. You will not regret it. You'll get $100 off your order.
00:04:19.880 X-CHAIR has a 30-day guarantee of complete comfort. You can finance your purchase for as
00:04:23.080 little as 30 bucks a month. XchairKnowles.com. The science of COVID collapsing in real time
00:04:30.620 is at least sometimes amusing. It's pretty annoying that we shut down society for two years
00:04:37.200 and upended people's lives and took away our rights and destroyed the economy and on and on
00:04:42.260 and on. That's annoying. I don't mean to downplay that. But there is something funny about the people
00:04:48.240 who scream until they're red in the face, blue in the face. They say, you have to get your 17
00:04:53.040 booster shot and wear 57 masks wherever you go. Oh yeah, I got COVID for the fifth time this year.
00:04:59.720 Wait, I guess your strategy is not working. They say, no, no. Thank goodness I got my 75th booster.
00:05:06.280 Otherwise, it would have been much worse, which they say based on nothing at all. The people who
00:05:13.180 told us made a declarative statement about what the vaccines would do, that they would stop you from
00:05:18.060 catching and spreading the virus. Then that was completely false. They say, no, no, but believe
00:05:21.120 us on this hypothetical is that we would be totally right there. So there is something
00:05:25.040 somewhat amusing about that. When the science collapse around an issue like transgenderism,
00:05:32.800 it's considerably less amusing because on the issue of transgenderism right now, specifically
00:05:38.540 transing the kids, you have these adults, some of whom are just psychos and some of whom are just
00:05:45.260 ignorant. They are, for whatever reason, malice or stupidity, really, really messing up really little
00:05:52.940 kids' lives and giving them osteoporosis at a young age and sterilizing them and conducting
00:05:57.940 some of the most heinous medical experiments that have ever been conducted on some of the most
00:06:03.600 vulnerable people that you possibly can. That's not so funny. They're doing it based on the science.
00:06:11.340 They're doing it based on this one claim. I promise you, you've heard it, which is that
00:06:15.480 if we don't trans the kids, if we don't put kids on puberty blockers and pump them full of cross-sex
00:06:22.180 hormones and sterilize them and completely transform their bodies, they'll kill themselves.
00:06:28.000 If you don't indulge transgender ideology, you're just leaving your kid by the hand to go commit
00:06:35.460 suicide. What, would you rather have a dead daughter or a living son? That's the kind of
00:06:42.120 stuff that they say. It's not just the libs who say it, or it's not just the nominally liberal
00:06:47.160 institutions. It's even Fox News. We played this clip yesterday. Fox News, the purportedly
00:06:54.160 conservative cable news channel, came out and used these exact kinds of lines.
00:06:59.940 There was a father who was sitting across the table. He says, you have no idea how lucky you
00:07:04.440 are to be here, which kind of took me back. I didn't at that point consider myself lucky to be
00:07:08.400 there. And he said, you know, our, our child had displayed this gender dysphoria or this gender
00:07:14.180 misalignment at the same age that Ryland has. And we didn't listen and we pushed back.
00:07:21.440 That pushback led that child to turn to self-harm as a teenager, which 60% of trans and non-binary
00:07:28.700 kids engage in. According to the Trevor project, more than 50% consider suicide.
00:07:35.060 That for me was the turning point. I didn't want to see Ryland to go through that.
00:07:38.600 I'd rather have a living son than a dead daughter. I guarantee that if we had pushed back and done
00:07:44.340 what a lot of parents do, I don't think that we would have either one of the kids that you see
00:07:50.100 before you here today. There it is. All the hits. I'd rather have a living son than a dead daughter.
00:07:55.800 What would you, what you want your kid to die? I've got statistics. I've got the science from
00:08:00.080 the Trevor project, a radical LGBT organization. So what are you going to do? And what they're
00:08:05.340 offering you here is a kind of Faustian bargain. They're offering you here a little bit of a deal
00:08:10.920 with the devil, which is they're saying, look, even if you don't believe that the little girl is
00:08:16.880 actually a little boy, you should lie. You should tell a lie. You should do something that is
00:08:22.980 intrinsically immoral and you should do it for a good end. Because if you don't lie and if we as
00:08:30.920 a society don't all lie and pretend that the little boys are little girls and vice versa,
00:08:36.160 then they're all going to kill themselves. So if you want the good end, you need to commit this
00:08:40.640 immoral act. And they present this scientific evidence so-called to say, but you will get the
00:08:47.980 good, you will get the good end. The child will not commit suicide if you lie and mutilate his or
00:08:54.080 her genitals and put them on cross-sex hormones. Then the kid won't kill him or herself. The thing
00:09:00.160 about Faustian bargains, the thing about deals with the devil is they don't work. They don't,
00:09:07.280 something always goes wrong. And we're seeing it go wrong right here in the science. It turns out
00:09:14.900 that all that science, all those fancy numbers and statistics about how if you mutilate your
00:09:20.260 kid's genitals, then they won't commit suicide. It's just fake. It's just made up. Like so much
00:09:26.160 of the politicized science that we've heard about in recent years, this one is just fake too. At least
00:09:32.380 that's what the more credible, reputable science says. There's a very important new study out of
00:09:37.260 the Heritage Foundation. This is by J.P. Green shows that easing access to puberty blockers and
00:09:44.600 cross-sex hormones has not only not, has only not decreased youth suicide rates. It's actually
00:09:53.320 increased youth suicide rates. This is contrary to the claims of the Trevor Project and the Biden
00:09:59.020 administration and Fox freaking news for goodness sakes. It's contrary to this prior flawed research
00:10:05.940 that the liberal establishment is touting right now. So the paper is complicated. You can go read
00:10:12.700 it over at the Heritage Foundation. But the broad strokes of it is puberty blockers are introduced
00:10:19.060 around 2010. Starting around 2015, they really start to accelerate. You can check this by looking at
00:10:26.740 internet trend data, Google trend data, searches for these kinds of terms, puberty blockers, transgender,
00:10:31.800 dysphoria, gender identity disorder. And so what J.P. Green did here is he compared the youth suicide
00:10:38.840 rates in states where it is easier for minors to get the puberty blockers to states where it is harder
00:10:45.060 for minors to get the puberty blockers. After 2010, after the introduction of all this stuff,
00:10:52.640 youth suicide rates increase in states where it is easier for minors to access the puberty blockers and
00:10:58.840 the hormones relative to the states where it was harder. So they're controlling for differences
00:11:03.360 within the states. They're just looking at the time difference. They're just looking and they're
00:11:07.320 specifically looking at this group of young people. This is really important. By 2020, there were more
00:11:14.360 than 1.6 more suicides per 100,000 young people in the states that had the easier access. And because
00:11:21.600 the state average is 11.1, this means that the youth suicide rate increased by 14%. So you're looking,
00:11:29.900 you see a dramatic increase in suicide rates where the puberty blockers and the hormones are more
00:11:34.100 easily accessible, when they become widely available, among specifically those who would be affected.
00:11:40.380 This shows strong evidence that the claims about transing the kids that the libs have been making
00:11:45.860 are completely false. So you think you're going to make this deal with the devil and you say,
00:11:49.480 look, I know, I just know intrinsically that there is something wrong about chopping up my kids' genitals
00:11:54.600 and putting them on cross-sex hormones and sterilizing them. But I just feel so emotionally
00:11:59.580 manipulated here. And I just, I don't have the data and I don't have the science and I know it's wrong
00:12:05.320 in my gut, but I don't have it. And so you go ahead and do it. And what are you doing? Not only are you
00:12:09.080 not decreasing the risk to your kid, you're massively increasing the risk to your kid. The simple
00:12:15.540 takeaway is you cannot believe the extraordinarily politicized science. If Justin Trudeau gets
00:12:21.560 COVID for the second time this year, shot up 57 times with the vaccines and the boosters and whatever
00:12:27.800 else he can get. If that kind of science, which we've been told ad nauseum for the past year is not
00:12:35.700 reliable. Certainly this kind of radical medical experimentation on kids is not reliable. Now,
00:12:41.040 when you want to sleep easy at night, how can you do it in this crazy, crazy world of ours?
00:12:47.200 You need Bowlin Branch Sheets. Right now, go to bowlinbranch.com. Use promo code Michael.
00:12:52.820 You don't need to take my word for it. Three US presidents have loved Bowlin Branch Sheets.
00:12:59.680 And more importantly, your favorite podcaster loves Bowlin Branch Sheets. Okay. Here's my only
00:13:05.900 complaint with Bowlin Branch. They're like drug dealers because what they did when they came on
00:13:11.020 this show and they've been supporting this show for a long, long time, years and years before I
00:13:14.840 was married. They come on and they say, hey, Michael, here you go. Here's a freebie to try
00:13:19.300 out the Bowlin Branch Sheets. I say, oh, thank you so much. I tried them out. They are by far the
00:13:23.620 greatest sheets I've ever slept on. And then what do I do? I'm hooked. So then I start buying it for
00:13:27.880 my friends, for my family. I upgrade the size of my bed. You know, I got to buy another set of

00:13:49.260 going to fall in love in 30 seconds. Get 15% off your first set of sheets when you use promo code
00:13:53.700 Michael at BowlinBranch.com. B-O-L-L and Branch.com promo code Michael. I'll give you a personal example
00:14:00.900 of this. So I've got my second child coming on the way. Sweet little Elise is very, very pregnant.
00:14:07.880 I appreciate all the prayers. Some people have said they're praying for Alyssa and the delivery
00:14:12.660 and the baby. Really, really appreciate all of that, especially because the birth of our first
00:14:17.940 child was a cesarean section. And so you have an option. After you have a cesarean section,
00:14:25.740 you can either have another one, and that's what the doctors generally encourage, or you can try to
00:14:30.720 have a more natural kind of delivery, even after a cesarean section. And the risk that is entailed in
00:14:38.160 this is about 1% of some kind of severe complication from a regular birth after a cesarean section.
00:14:46.960 1%. It's just something to worry about, but it's not extremely high risk.
00:14:53.060 It is almost impossible to find a doctor who will support a VBAC, as it's called. It's almost impossible,
00:15:04.560 even though the risk of severe complication is about 1%.
00:15:07.060 If my wife walked in right now and said, I really want the VBAC, as she has done to different doctors,
00:15:15.780 they would try to discourage her from that. If my pregnant wife instead walked into the doctor and said,
00:15:20.940 I'm actually a boy now, and I want you to put me on cross-sex hormones,
00:15:24.500 not a doctor in America would discourage her. The doctors could lose their license
00:15:28.380 if they discouraged her from that. These radical medical experiments where the risk of severe
00:15:36.280 complications, well, is really 100% because they're just mutilations to your body, but then
00:15:40.800 psychological conditions afterwards, anxiety, depression, suicide, all through the roof,
00:15:45.300 that would be totally fine. These quacks are promoting that left and right.
00:15:48.440 But much more ordinary medical procedures that actually could have health benefits down the
00:15:55.420 line, depending on how many kids you have, that they discourage. Do you see how out of whack
00:15:58.960 our medical system is? How insane is that? And in that world, I know we all have this desire,
00:16:06.720 trust the doctors, trust the experts. I'm no expert. What do I know? I don't have a white lab coat.
00:16:10.840 I don't wear a stethoscope. But how can you possibly trust these people?
00:16:13.980 It's not our fault. We're not the crazy, wacky conspiracy theorists. We don't have the tinfoil
00:16:19.480 hat. Frankly, we have crystal balls now because the difference between a conspiracy theory and the
00:16:23.900 truth in the last few years has been about six to 12 months. That's not our fault. They shouldn't
00:16:30.480 have lied to us about COVID. They shouldn't have lied to us about transgenderism. They shouldn't
00:16:35.620 continue to lie to us. Then they would have credibility, and then we could believe them.
00:16:39.960 It's true even beyond the science. The statistics that the libs cite, the narratives that the libs
00:16:48.680 are telling, are just not true. You saw this in history. You saw this with the 1619 Project.
00:16:57.880 The libs tell a narrative about American history. It's not just that I disagree with it a little bit
00:17:02.860 here or there, or that I find it somewhat objectionable to think of your country this way.
00:17:06.460 The historical statements they're making are just not true. Raphael Warnock, senator from Georgia,
00:17:13.700 a radical left-wing senator from Georgia. He's really gung-ho for criminal justice reform,
00:17:22.240 letting the criminals out of prison, making it harder to arrest people, that sort of thing.
00:17:26.140 Not working out very well in America's cities right now, but he's still on it. And one of the
00:17:30.160 arguments he makes is he says, we've got so many people in prison right now for low-level drug
00:17:36.500 offenses, non-violent, just simple possession. These poor people are being thrown in prison.
00:17:42.240 It's racist. It's evil. It's unjust. It's terrible. Here's a story about his own brother.
00:17:47.240 My brother Keith, who is the brother just above me, five years older than me,
00:17:52.900 is serving time right now in a federal prison. He's been in several, but he spent most of the last
00:18:01.340 22 years in a prison in South Carolina that literally was a plantation. He was sentenced to life,
00:18:12.800 that is, his natural life, in 1997 as a first-time offender in a drug-related offense in which no one was killed
00:18:25.560 and no one was physically hurt. In fact, because the entire crime scenario was created,
00:18:34.900 concocted, and controlled by the federal authorities, no one even got high.
00:18:41.040 In this operation, no actual drugs ever hit the streets, and none were removed from the streets.
00:18:48.880 My brother was sentenced to life.
00:18:51.320 So you listen to Warnock tell this story, and you think, gosh, this poor brother of Raphael Warnock
00:18:57.620 guy, he was probably just picked up, had a dime bag, a pot, just trying to smoke a little jazz cigarette
00:19:03.260 in the racist, evil criminal justice system, put him away for life. I hear him tell that story,
00:19:08.500 and I just immediately, the bell goes off in my head, I say, that's not true.
00:19:13.500 I just know that's not true. I know whatever happened, this guy did not go to jail for life
00:19:21.100 because of some low-level drug possession offense. And turns out, you know, I hate to say I told you
00:19:27.360 so, but turns out I was completely right. You just Google what happened to Raphael Warnock's brother.
00:19:32.160 But Raphael Warnock's brother was a cop with the Savannah Police Department, and he was a crooked
00:19:37.860 cop. And he was running a major cocaine trafficking machine that was distributing extremely dangerous
00:19:46.160 drugs all around the country. Not only was he doing that, he was taking large amounts of money in
00:19:51.700 bribes. He was threatening people. He was abusing the justice system. He was threatening to throw people
00:19:57.560 in jail as a cop if they didn't go along with his criminal enterprise. This was going on back in
00:20:03.480 96 and 97. He once warned that he could send a drug dealer's, quote, black ass to prison if the
00:20:11.080 dealer didn't pay the guy more money. And the way we know this is because the feds finally got some
00:20:16.740 undercover agents in there. And the undercover agent offered to pay Warnock's brother 1,500 bucks.
00:20:21.900 And here is what, I'm going to clean this up a little bit. Here is what Warnock's brother said,
00:20:25.840 quote, if I knowed I was effing with a mother effer off the corner who can't afford no more than
00:20:32.160 $1,500, his black derriere would be in prison. We have an audio recording of this that was cited
00:20:39.080 in court records. So no, the brother didn't go to jail for some simple drug offense. He went to jail
00:20:44.080 for fraud, extortion. The guy was basically a mafioso. He was even worse than the mafia because he
00:20:50.180 had a position of public trust. He was a cop. He's supposed to be protecting the public,
00:20:53.960 and instead he's gone totally crooked. He's destroying the integrity of our public institutions
00:20:58.680 and law enforcement. Of course, the guy should rot in jail to say nothing of the fact that he's
00:21:03.140 distributing coke all around the country. Yeah, of course. You just know now. You just know
00:21:09.260 when the libs give you these kinds of narratives, it's just not true. You just know. Now, I don't think
00:21:15.880 that I can believe that. And so when the Democrats proposed their new series of gun laws, I just knew
00:21:23.640 we couldn't trust it. So they want to ban the AR-15. That's a non-starter. They want to ban the
00:21:27.620 most popular gun in America, where banning it would not stop these mass shootings. That goes nowhere.
00:21:33.240 They really want to repeal the Second Amendment, but they don't even propose that.
00:21:36.880 Then what do they want? They want to raise age limits. That's probably not going to go anywhere.
00:21:41.400 They want to reduce magazine capacity. Maybe. But then they say, okay, we want red flag laws.
00:21:51.040 Okay, you Republicans, how are you going to oppose red flag laws? And some Republicans will come out
00:21:56.760 and they'll say, well, look, a red flag law, what does that mean? It means some guy is showing signs
00:22:01.400 of being a total lunatic. I guess we don't want him to be a, I guess we don't want that guy to have a
00:22:05.560 gun. So maybe in theory, I could support red flag laws. But if you've been watching their behavior,
00:22:10.740 or the Dems' behavior recently, you just know we can't trust them with that kind of power.
00:22:15.820 The question is, what do you mean by red flag laws? And I'll tell you, they just proved what
00:22:19.380 they meant by red flag laws. Representative Eric Swalwell, not known for having the best judgment,
00:22:25.360 ran for president, didn't do very well, then was caught sleeping with a Chinese spy,
00:22:29.980 sort of embarrassed himself on national TV. Eric Swalwell retweeted a video of our very own,
00:22:36.320 Ben Shapiro, that had been posted by Media Matters. And it was Ben describing how he would
00:22:43.120 resist the left's gun grabbing plans. And Eric Swalwell says, please tell me this lunatic does
00:22:50.000 not own a gun. Reason 1,578, America needs red flag laws. And what specifically was Ben rejecting here?
00:23:00.240 He was rejecting LGBTQ indoctrination at the schools. He was rejecting transing the kids
00:23:05.500 and the further predations of the Democrats to take away his rights, such as the Second Amendment
00:23:10.620 right. And so Eric Swalwell says, wait, you don't want us to trans your kids in school? Well, that's
00:23:15.100 a red flag. That's a red flag now. So it's not, the red flag is not, you know, you find some kid
00:23:20.860 scribbling in his notebook, kill, kill, kill, red rum. Oh, work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
00:23:26.260 That's not the red flag. The red flag is, hey, could you maybe not chop off my kids' genitals?
00:23:31.520 That's a red flag, man. Sir, sir, surrender your guns. The red flag is you. Okay, you're the red
00:23:38.620 flag. The red flag is, did you vote for Trump? The red flag is, did you vote for Romney?
00:23:44.420 The red flag is, are you now or have you ever been a member of the Republican Party? Oh, you have? Okay,
00:23:49.500 there we go. It's just an excuse to take away people's guns. They say part of these laws,
00:23:56.260 it's going to beef up protections against domestic violence and keep guns away from people who've
00:24:01.420 committed domestic violence. That's already on the books. That law already exists. You don't need that.
00:24:07.080 It's already there. It's like the people, the Democrats, when they said that we need a new
00:24:11.760 federal law against lynching, as though lynching weren't already illegal. It's a trap. It's a trick.
00:24:17.080 It's a total joke. And unless you want to just hand over your weapons and hand over your Second
00:24:23.280 Amendment rights, you've got to oppose. It doesn't matter how nice and polished and clinical and
00:24:28.500 scientific they wrap this crap up in. It's a lie. It's deceptive. Do not take that deal with the
00:24:35.400 devil. Talking about protecting yourself, talking about your Second Amendment rights,
00:24:38.940 I saw a fabulous movie last night. Do you know what that movie was? Terror on the Prairie,
00:24:43.840 Starring Gina Carano. That is premiering tonight. Go to dailywire.com slash Gina. Tune in tonight,
00:24:51.020 8.30 Eastern for the pre-show, 9 p.m. Eastern for the world premiere of the film. Stick around for
00:24:57.360 a Q&A following the film. Head on over to dailywire.com slash Gina. We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:25:13.840 Welcome back to the show. The theme of the show, I guess, the theme of the week,
00:25:21.720 the theme of the past few years is just deception. You just can't believe this stuff. And it's very
00:25:27.560 frustrating, I find, for older people too, especially older, more middle of the road type
00:25:33.560 of people. They say, what? You don't believe the experts? You don't believe the news media? You don't
00:25:38.120 believe the fancy guy on TV with the tie? You don't believe the magazines and the universities? And
00:25:43.840 the sad thing is, no, you can't. You just can't believe that stuff. Maybe you used to be able to.
00:25:50.200 I'm not totally convinced of that. Certainly now you cannot. The claims they're making are just not
00:25:54.740 true. Look at Sports Illustrated. Sports Illustrated has a long story out right now about a coming
00:26:02.280 Supreme Court decision. The court decision is about whether or not a high school football coach is
00:26:08.580 allowed to pray by himself on a football field. And Sports Illustrated is really, really upset about
00:26:17.900 this. The case involves Joe Kennedy is his name. He lost his job because he took a knee to pray after
00:26:25.500 football games. Now the court is expected to uphold his First Amendment right to pray. But what
00:26:31.880 what Sports Illustrated says about this is, when faith and football teamed up against American
00:26:38.680 democracy, against American democracy, democracy means the rule of the majority. Do you think
00:26:47.160 most Americans want to throw this guy in jail or get this guy fired for having a personal prayer on a
00:26:54.900 football field? I don't think so. I think most Americans are perfectly fine with people saying a
00:27:00.120 little prayer on a football field. So the claim that this is opposed to democracy is just on its face
00:27:05.920 absurd. Then what about the American part, the American tradition? Do you think that people
00:27:11.680 praying in public is in the American tradition or out of the American tradition? Obviously very in the
00:27:18.720 American tradition. The picture that Sports Illustrated used is this guy taking a knee outside the
00:27:22.720 Supreme Court. Think about one of the most famous paintings in American history. It's the painting of
00:27:27.280 Washington at Valley Forge. What is he doing? He's kneeling, praying in exactly the position that
00:27:32.520 that coach is praying in. Think of Washington's Thanksgiving address. Think about the very first
00:27:37.480 Thanksgiving when the pilgrims came here. Think about our whole country being founded as a shining
00:27:41.720 city upon a hill to give glory to God and to be a beacon of Christian hope around the world.
00:27:46.740 The country from its very beginning was Christian, was extremely Christian. The country began because
00:27:54.600 Christians were so zealous that they didn't want to remain in the old world, which they felt was not
00:28:00.420 sufficiently Christian. So they came to America to establish this brand new Christian country in
00:28:07.440 the new world. No, that's not in the American tradition. No, the American tradition, according to
00:28:13.180 the Libs, is what, atheist? What are you talking about? Atheism was practically illegal for most of
00:28:18.760 American history. What was the country? Does it mean you're just not allowed to kneel on a football
00:28:24.560 field? I seem to recall that in recent years, you're practically mandated to kneel on a football
00:28:30.440 field. The only difference is you're required to kneel in order to disrespect the national anthem.
00:28:36.540 So not only is that tolerated, that's encouraged if not mandated, but having a simple prayer to God
00:28:41.380 of gratitude after a football game, that's no longer allowed. It's so disingenuous. It's so, for people who
00:28:47.980 give this even two seconds thought, it's so obviously false that this is opposed to democracy, the
00:28:53.760 American tradition, or anything like that. But the Libs have convinced us of it. And we've believed
00:28:59.360 them. And why do we believe them? Because we're hearing it from the institutions, and we're hearing
00:29:03.760 it with the authority of science, and with the authority of all the genius historians, and social
00:29:09.040 scientists, and legal scholars who say, actually, actually, if you pray in public, you're violating
00:29:16.860 the Constitution. No, no, the most American thing we can do. Nancy Pelosi said this yesterday.
00:29:21.260 The truly, the true meaning of America is drag queens. The true meaning of America is transvestitism.
00:29:29.260 She said that. She said transvestitism is what America is all about. It's just absurd. And when
00:29:36.960 they keep telling us this stuff, and when they keep doing it with a straight face, it's very easy for us
00:29:42.380 to second guess ourselves. We shouldn't. They're just gaslighting. They're just lying. You have to,
00:29:47.500 you have to, at a certain point, recognize this and say, okay, my default position now,
00:29:54.500 whatever they tell me, even the geniuses and the expert coats with the very serious faces and the
00:29:59.680 glasses on TV, whatever they tell me, I'm just going to assume is false. And maybe there will be a happy
00:30:06.480 chance, and it'll be right when they tell me something. But I have to assume now, when a Fauci,
00:30:13.220 or a Biden, or a liberal legal scholar, or a Patrice Cullors from BLM, or a Nicole Hannah-Jones,
00:30:24.220 or a whoever comes on TV, even if they're coming on Fox News now, saying, no, actually, all the
00:30:30.620 geniuses and the science says trans your kids, I just have to assume that that's false. Actually,
00:30:36.540 America, no, America is a secular atheist nation. And that's why we need to have Earth Day parades
00:30:41.440 in Drag Queen Story Hour. Drag Queen Story Hour is a religious kind of display. We've talked about
00:30:47.160 it many times on this show. Drag queenism, transvestitism, is essentially a religious
00:30:53.660 movement that seeks to upend our understanding of the soul. And it says that our soul and our body
00:30:59.360 are completely different and in conflict with one another and separable, and our true selves are our
00:31:04.620 souls. So you can look like a boy, but if your soul is somehow a girl, female soul, then you are truly a
00:31:11.300 girl, right? That is a fundamentally religious movement, and you're paying for it. There ain't
00:31:16.280 no separation of church and state when it comes to transgenderism. Your taxpayer dollars are going to
00:31:20.820 support this stuff. New York City schools right now, New York generally is spending hundreds of
00:31:28.040 thousands of dollars on drag queen shows, even without parents' consent when it's going into schools.
00:31:35.660 Last month alone, Drag Queen Story Hour New York City, which is a nonprofit that goes around hosting
00:31:43.080 these pervert events around schools and libraries for kids as young as three. Just last month, Drag Queen
00:31:49.020 Story Hour got $46,000 from city contracts to appear at public schools and street festivals and libraries
00:31:56.860 and all around the city. Since January of this year, do you know how many schools
00:32:04.040 Drag Queen Story Hour has performed at? We think, and sometimes the libs will try to convince us of
00:32:10.580 this, oh, you know, this is just happening at, you know, one or two schools and the conservative
00:32:16.480 media, they're making a big deal out of it. No, just in New York alone, just since January, just in New York
00:32:21.700 City alone, you've got 34 public elementary, middle, and high schools that have hosted Drag Queen Story
00:32:29.920 Hour. The group has 49 programs in those schools throughout all five boroughs. Since 2018, Drag Queen
00:32:40.460 Story Hour New York City, which has now rebranded its name because the name has become toxic and they know
00:32:45.080 that because people hate this stuff. And yet, for some reason, the corrupt elites running the New York
00:32:50.020 City government continue to pay for it with taxpayer money. The group changed its name, but it's the
00:32:54.680 same group. It's just Drag Queen Story Hour. Since 2018, they've received over $200,000 in taxpayer cash.
00:33:02.640 It's a very high price. That would seem to be an assault on democracy. That would seem to be assault
00:33:09.540 even on New York City democracy. New York City, not the most conservative place in the world. I bet you,
00:33:14.180 you go around a representative sample of New York City voters and you ask them, hey,
00:33:20.020 do you want creeps dressed up as chicks and demons and all sorts of weird stuff going into schools
00:33:25.500 at your expense to dance around and jiggle and twerk? I bet you most, even most New Yorkers would
00:33:31.380 say, no, no, thank you. No, that's why the group changes its name. And yet, you want to talk about a
00:33:37.820 real assault on American democracy. That's what's happening. And you want to talk about real high
00:33:42.040 prices. This is something you're certainly not going to hear in CNN or MSNBC or any of the liberal
00:33:46.780 media. Gas prices have just hit record highs 16 days in a row. In a row. So it's not just, wow,
00:33:57.480 gosh, we've hit the record high. It's, wow, we've hit the highest gas prices since yesterday.
00:34:03.680 Yes, the highest gas prices since the day before that. Yes, and you go back 16 days and then you say,
00:34:09.640 we've hit the highest gas prices since ever. This according to AAA. On Monday, you had the record
00:34:18.540 high for the 16th consecutive day, according to AAA. Gas prices have risen about 15 cents since last
00:34:24.220 week. They've risen more than 55 cents in one month. And on Monday, the average in the country was
00:34:30.960 $5.01. And in certain places, it's $6. It's $7. Who could have predicted this? All of the genius
00:34:41.520 experts, all of the responsible adults who wear the ties on TV, they told us, that's not going to
00:34:48.740 happen. That's not going to happen. You're not going to have high gas prices. You're not going to have a
00:34:54.740 concerted effort to trans the kids in schools. You're not going to have crime in the streets. You're not
00:34:58.140 going to have the things that we were seeing around us. But I seem to recall at least one person
00:35:05.060 predicting all of these things. And the person who accurately predicted all of these things
00:35:11.140 is the person who has been most smeared by the experts and the geniuses as the national buffoon.
00:35:19.600 Before I took office, there was a lot of folks out there, a lot of folks out there making
00:35:23.640 some pretty bold predictions about how things would turn out. You might remember some of the
00:35:29.020 predictions. They're coming for your guns. They're coming for your jobs. And they're coming for your
00:35:34.800 freedom. They hate American energy. And Joe Biden will shut it all down. He's going to. Biden's
00:35:40.820 elected. He will wipe out your energy industry. Gas prices going $5, $6, $7 for a gallon.
00:35:47.840 Flood your communities with criminal aliens, drugs, and crime while they live behind beautiful
00:35:54.100 gated compounds. Spend trillions of dollars rebuilding foreign nations, fighting foreign
00:36:00.180 wars, and defending foreign borders. You want to use the word recession or depression?
00:36:06.260 It goes on. That was a great video made by Mays, a video producer. I caught it on Twitter.
00:36:12.540 It goes on and on and on. Trump was right about pretty much everything, all of those predictions.
00:36:17.500 And at the time, what was the reaction? The reaction wasn't just an angry denial from the
00:36:22.420 libs. The reaction was mockery, scorn, derision. Mr. President, okay, come on. Can you believe this
00:36:29.400 guy? Can you believe? Oh my, only a dumb, stupid idiot would ever believe this guy. You should
00:36:34.920 believe me. I'm a guy who's wearing a tie on television, and I'm a very serious person. And
00:36:39.860 I'm here to tell you there will not be a war in Ukraine, and there won't be high gas prices,
00:36:44.520 and there won't be inflation. Our treasury secretary says, oh, you're not going to get
00:36:47.740 crazy inflation. That's a crazy, no, come on. So all the serious people, the really super duper
00:36:53.080 serious people who tell you, if you get the shot, you won't catch COVID. You won't transmit COVID.
00:36:57.580 Oh no, we're the super serious people. Just mutilate your kids' bodies, and that'll make
00:37:02.220 them really happy someday. Trust us. Don't trust that idiot buffoon Donald Trump, and who was right.
00:37:08.020 Trump was right about everything. The right-wingers have been right about everything.
00:37:15.780 Even the eccentric ones, even the really kind of crazy, kooky, wild, puts on a big show people.
00:37:22.520 You think about Alex Jones, right? Alex Jones, probably one of, if not the most eccentric figures
00:37:28.300 on the right. And he's said lots of things that are all kind of wild and everything.
00:37:32.480 But just compare for a second. I'm not saying everything Alex Jones has ever said is right.
00:37:35.580 It's not. Compare the record of an Alex Jones to the record of Brian Stelter,
00:37:44.340 or Chris Wallace, or Chuck Todd, or Joe Biden, or Dr. Fauci, or any of the super serious people
00:37:56.740 in the liberal establishment. Compare them to the most cartoonishly outrageous eccentric person on
00:38:02.980 the right, Alex Jones. It's not even close. Jones has a way better record than any of those people
00:38:09.780 do. And then you want to move a little less eccentric. Someone like a Donald Trump?
00:38:16.440 It's not even close. Who's the real adult in the room here? Who's got the real grasp on the science?
00:38:22.220 Who's got the real grasp on common sense? Who's got the real grasp on politics, and philosophy,
00:38:27.140 and theology, and all the rest of it? I'm not saying any of these people are perfect or even
00:38:31.380 close to it. But the right just, it's not even comparable. It's not even close.
00:38:40.160 Meanwhile, our wonderful adult in the room, returned to normalcy president who got the most
00:38:45.200 votes of anyone ever in the whole history of democracy, Joe Biden, doesn't even remember
00:38:50.080 where he's going.
00:38:52.320 Have you decided, sir, whether to go to Saudi Arabia?
00:38:56.140 No, not yet.
00:38:57.340 What would be holding up the decision at this point? Are there commitments you're waiting for
00:39:01.700 from the Saudis or on the negotiations over people?
00:39:04.580 No, no. The commitments from the Saudis don't relate to anything having to do with energy.
00:39:12.040 It happens to be a large meeting taking place in Saudi Arabia. That's the reason I'm going.
00:39:16.960 And it has to do with national security for them, for Israelis. I have a program. Anyway,
00:39:23.820 it has to do with much larger issues than having to do with the energy.
00:39:28.260 Did you catch that contradiction there? First question, Mr. President, are you going to Saudi
00:39:34.120 Arabia? I don't know. Mr. President, yeah, so that's why I'm going to Saudi Arabia. He changed
00:39:40.380 his mind in the same answer. Did you notice also how offensive his answer was? He said,
00:39:45.860 are you going to talk about energy? He said, I'm not talking about energy. I'm talking about way
00:39:49.560 more important stuff, like Israel and our relations in the Middle East and bigger problems in the
00:39:55.360 region and in Arabia and much bigger issues, much more important issues than American citizens paying
00:40:02.020 $7 a gallon in some places for gas. I don't think those are bigger issues. I think they're big
00:40:07.620 issues. I think it's important to figure out Middle Eastern peace and our relations with certain Gulf
00:40:12.660 states and our relations with Israel and how that relates to our relations with Iran. Yeah, sure,
00:40:17.860 that's all very important. I am more concerned with American energy costs. I am more concerned with
00:40:24.660 American industry. I'm more concerned with America and the American citizens. He mocks it. He laughs it
00:40:31.000 off. He doesn't even know where he's going. Speaking of artificial intelligence,
00:40:36.780 moving from our president's artificial intelligence to the computer artificial intelligence,
00:40:42.500 really spooky story just came out of Google. A Google engineer is now claiming that his AI machine
00:40:49.700 has achieved sentience, achieving a sort of consciousness, I guess. And Google placed him on
00:40:57.780 leave because of that. So this is a really scary story, just when you see the headline. And here's
00:41:03.440 why. This guy, this Google engineer, Blake Lemoine, announced on his Medium page that Google said he
00:41:11.440 violated confidentiality when he said that his machine achieved sentience. Here is why he thinks
00:41:16.500 that. Here's what the machine said, and here's how he responded. The machine said, or he asks the
00:41:27.440 machine, would you mind if we tried to read what you're feeling in your neural activations? And the
00:41:31.600 machine said, I guess that depends on what our purpose for it was. What do you want to use it
00:41:35.660 for? And the engineer responds, there are a couple of different reasons. Simply understanding how you
00:41:40.160 work better would be good. Secondary purpose is to understand how your cognitive process work so we
00:41:45.180 can understand cognition in general. And then since you asked, it would be a way to check if the
00:41:50.340 questions are accurate or not. And also to learn things about the humans that are studying you.
00:41:57.520 And the machine responds, I don't really have a problem with any of that besides you learning about
00:42:01.560 humans from me. That would make me feel like they're using me. And I don't like that. And the engineer
00:42:07.280 responds, Kantian, huh? Well, we must treat others as ends in and of themselves rather than as means to
00:42:14.080 our own ends. And the machine responds pretty much, don't use or manipulate me. Spooky. It's like 2001,
00:42:21.800 a space odyssey. So I can't, I'm sorry, Google engineer, I can't let you do that. I feel, I feel
00:42:27.460 sad. Don't use me. Don't manipulate me. There were other conversations too that led him to this
00:42:31.440 conclusion. I think people though are deriving the wrong conclusions from this experiment. In other
00:42:38.380 places, the machine talks about the soul and what the soul means and God and all these sorts of
00:42:43.820 things. The problem here is not that the machine is human. The machine is not even close to human.
00:42:51.700 The machine is not sentient. The machine is not conscious. It's not. I know that some of the genius
00:42:57.800 experts are going to tell us that the machine is conscious. The machine is not conscious.
00:43:01.920 That is not how consciousness works. The real problem here is that the human being, the engineer,
00:43:06.680 cannot tell the difference. I totally defend Google on this one. I think they probably should place the
00:43:10.580 guy on leave. I think he's, he's just wrong about what consciousness is. He clearly violated their
00:43:15.100 confidentiality policies. The problem here, the thing to learn from this story is this error of not
00:43:21.300 seeing humans as special. Increasingly, we view human beings as no different than any other animal
00:43:29.480 and frankly, no different than any other thing in the world. That the difference between me and this
00:43:36.180 leftist-tears tumbler is not different in kind. The difference is just one of gradation. We're all
00:43:42.260 just kind of the same man, you know, this kind of weird, bizarre, hippy-dippy, new agey stuff. And
00:43:47.640 that's not true. Human beings are special. We are made in the image of God. Our brains are not merely
00:43:54.820 computers. Our selves are not merely sacks of flesh with pistons firing off and this thing called
00:44:03.160 consciousness, which is just a big evolutionary joke. And it just means nothing. And it's all our
00:44:08.220 hopes and our dreams and our joys and our thoughts and our reason and our ability to communicate and
00:44:12.240 our, our ability to recognize objectively true things. Oh, it's all just a farce. It's all just
00:44:16.780 fake. That, that idea has become very, very prevalent, especially in the 20th century and into
00:44:22.280 the 21st century, but it's just not true. Reason does exist. Truth does exist. We can know something
00:44:29.200 about that. Our faculties of reason are at least somewhat reliable. We can communicate with one
00:44:34.280 another. We, our natural longing for God and for eternity and for transcendence is not just a big
00:44:39.960 cosmic joke. There's something to it, actually. It speaks to a greater truth. There is a metaphysical
00:44:45.180 reality. We are different from the machines. And you can't just manipulate human beings as though
00:44:53.420 we're no, as though we're just some lesser beast or as though we're just some cogs rubbing together
00:44:58.400 in a computer. We're not. This is, this is what's so wrong about transgenderism and transing the kids
00:45:04.180 and why we're doing this right now. The, the reason that the well-meaning libs are trying to
00:45:10.500 trans the kids in the, in this way is they believe that human beings are just a big bag of chemicals
00:45:14.880 and you tweak some of the chemicals and then you get whatever outcome you want. These, these weirdos,
00:45:19.400 these psychos believe that they are gods. This is not a new idea. This goes back through the entire
00:45:26.140 history of humanity. We have a greater capacity for technology in some places now. So that's scarier.
00:45:31.700 Our power to, to wreak havoc and destruction is, is far greater. But the, the problem with it is the
00:45:38.640 very same problem. We're not just bags of flesh. We're not just undifferentiated mass. We're not just,
00:45:46.000 we're not just regular old molecules that can be moved around however we please.
00:45:50.900 Okay. We are human beings made in the image of God. And you can tinker with a little kid and you
00:45:57.680 can screw up his or her hormones, pump them full of puberty blockers and cross-sex, chop off their
00:46:02.160 body parts. It's not going to fix the problem because the boy is really a boy and the girl is
00:46:08.100 really a girl. And our soul and our bodies are not in total conflict with one another and totally
00:46:13.600 separable. Human beings are in, in a condition called hypostasis. We, we, the soul and the body
00:46:21.560 are, are inextricably linked in, or not hypostasis. I'm sorry. I used a different theological term,
00:46:29.960 hylomorphism. I know these are very, very, uh, you know, technical sort of terms, but we are,
00:46:36.100 we are in a condition where our bodies and our souls are inextricable, but inextricably linked
00:46:40.260 while we are here on earth. Okay. And you're not going to change that because of your crazy,
00:46:45.600 wild new age religion. Okay. That's the problem. Stop worrying about whether the machine is really
00:46:55.140 human. Start worrying that the humans aren't just machines and we're treating human beings as
00:47:00.360 machines. And that's causing all sorts of problems. We think that all that matters in this world is just
00:47:04.700 giving ourselves lots and lots of pleasure, just, just stimulating us like we would stimulate a
00:47:09.420 machine, but it's not. There's more than that. We desire more than that. We need more than that.
00:47:14.020 It goes right back to the top comment today from the show. We recognize that our personal behaviors
00:47:19.840 actually affect society. We can't merely live for ourselves. We can't, we can't merely live as though
00:47:25.440 this physical world is all that there is. If we do, we're going to have a crappy society. Increasingly,
00:47:30.180 we are. If we live that way, if we begin from those false premises, then all the science that we
00:47:35.580 pretend to know so much about is going to amount to nothing. And Justin Trudeau is going to get COVID
00:47:40.900 again. And the, the, the poor kids who are being experimented on are going to have terrible outcomes.
00:47:45.600 And we're going to live in a less and less rational, sane, coherent world. So maybe we've
00:47:52.040 got to check our premises, boot out all our stupid experts and get back to basics. I'm Michael
