The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1078 - The MAGA Experience

00:00:00.000 Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan is giving great news to the Republicans. We've seen a lot of good signs

00:00:06.680 in recent months that they're going to do well in the midterm elections. The generic congressional

00:00:11.680 ballot, the misery index, the simple fact that it's the first midterm of a new president,

00:00:17.260 all of that points to good news for the party out of power. Yesterday, the GOP received

00:00:22.020 a better omen than all of those others combined. Joe Rogan told his audience that he wants them to

00:00:30.740 vote Republican. No one who is alive today had ever experienced a true pandemic.

00:00:36.500 And I'm hoping that now that this is over, people are going to, you know, recognize that some serious

00:00:42.900 errors were made and not repeat those. That's the best you can get out of it. So what do you tell

00:00:46.900 those people? Vote Republican. That's what a lot of them are going to do anyway. Yeah? Yeah. Oh,

00:00:55.300 yeah. I mean, more than a million people transferred over to the Republican party,

00:00:59.600 I think in 2021 alone. Find out what that number is. But, you know, you look at guys like Ron DeSantis

00:01:06.520 who kept Florida open and had some pretty reasonable policies in terms of like what to do about COVID.

00:01:13.080 And, you know, he mapped it out on television. He was, you know, widely criticized for this.

00:01:18.580 Where he was saying, like, we need to protect our elders. We need to, you know, make sure that

00:01:22.460 medical care is available for those people and everyone else. You should be able to do whatever

00:01:26.580 you want to do and protect your freedom. Those 55 seconds from Joe Rogan are more important

00:01:33.020 than any poli-sci nerd analysis. More important than 10,000 pages of data from every four-eyed 0.91

00:01:41.980 pollster in America because Joe Rogan is the generic voter. Joe Rogan speaks to and for more people

00:01:52.960 than just about anyone else in America. As goes Joe Rogan, so goes the country in many ways.

00:02:02.440 After 18 months of record high inflation, of foreign policy disaster, of mass illegal migration,

00:02:09.120 of a collapse in law and order, and a creeping sense that our institutions of government are

00:02:14.900 being rigged and wielded by Democrats for their own personal gain. Whether it's the FBI pressuring

00:02:20.140 Facebook to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, or whether it's the DOJ busting through Donald

00:02:24.800 Trump's door at Mar-a-Lago. The American people right now are signaling in every way they can

00:02:30.060 that they intend to vote the bums out. And yet, only one thing is certain. The more that the people 1.00

00:02:39.380 express support for Republicans in November, the more the establishment will smear them all

00:02:45.880 as a threat to democracy. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:49.340 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is from The Fable Sphere, who says,

00:03:01.760 until such time that Michael Knowles will use the stakes have never been higher as a segue into Good

00:03:09.100 Ranchers, my life will continue to be missing something. That's a really, really good idea. 0.99

00:03:15.520 I am ashamed of myself that I had not thought of it before. This is my job, okay? And we're living

00:03:24.700 through a very, very tough time in American history. And the stakes have never been higher,

00:03:31.420 which is why you got to check out Good Ranchers. Right now, go to goodranchers.com slash Knowles,

00:03:36.400 use code Knowles, because this is the last chance. My favorite meat delivery service, Good Ranchers,

00:03:43.100 has been running a back-to-school give-back program this month with the goal of donating

00:03:47.380 100,000 high-quality meals to children in need. With Labor Day just around the corner,

00:03:53.020 this is your last chance to enter for the chance to win 30 minutes with me via Zoom on September 30th.

00:04:00.320 We are calling it a meet and greet. Do you get it? Go to goodranchers.com slash Knowles,

00:04:06.220 use code Knowles at checkout. You will get $30 off plus free shipping. You can subscribe if you want

00:04:18.860 the one-off box of meat if you want, but if you subscribe, it's just absolutely wild, the savings

00:04:23.960 that you will see. And you'll be automatically entered to win 30 minutes of all-access meet and

00:04:29.220 greet with me on September 30th. This offer ends tomorrow, August 31st. That's goodranchers.com

00:04:35.300 slash Knowles. Use code Knowles at checkout, and I'll see you at the meet and greet. The Joe Rogan

00:04:42.760 thing is very, very important. Now, you might say, well, no, Michael, Joe Rogan doesn't pick the

00:04:47.080 president. For goodness sakes, the man was a Bernie bro, and then he kind of liked Trump, and then,

00:04:52.040 I don't know, he has views that sometimes don't totally jive with one another. Sure, that's true,

00:04:57.180 just like the generic voter. Most Americans are not spending every waking moment doing all sorts of

00:05:04.300 political analysis with their nose in spreadsheets and everything like that. Most Americans are doing

00:05:08.600 other things. Joe Rogan is a good example of this. Joe Rogan seems to care a lot more about MMA and the

00:05:14.900 Haitian oregano than he does about the nitty and gritty of politics. But like all Americans, like

00:05:20.680 the generic voter, he has political preferences and political views, and he's not particularly

00:05:26.760 firmly rooted in those political views. They change a little bit with changing circumstances.

00:05:31.940 And there's something about that that's very, very healthy. And Joe Rogan right now is not mincing

00:05:36.160 words at all. He's saying, what would I do right now? I would vote Republican. Of course, of course,

00:05:41.300 the libs are destroying the economy. They're stomping on a lot of our traditional rights and freedoms 0.91

00:05:46.620 and way of life. And they're failing on pretty much every issue. You can see that in all of the

00:05:53.500 polls. And they're compromising our institutions of government. And they're raiding homes. They're

00:05:59.400 doing all sorts of nonsense. And so Rogan's looking at that. He's saying, yeah, no more of that. Let's 0.66

00:06:04.040 do the other guy. Let's go back to the other guys. And Donald Trump is not being quiet about this

00:06:10.680 either. Trump just tweeted out. He didn't tweet out, actually, because he's still not allowed on

00:06:15.420 Twitter because the Silicon Valley oligarchs booted the then sitting duly elected president of the

00:06:20.280 United States out of the public square. Another reason why people, I think, are turning against

00:06:24.360 the libs. And Trump tweets out, now it comes out conclusively that the FBI buried the Hunter

00:06:31.300 Biden laptop story before the election, knowing that if they didn't, Trump would have easily won

00:06:35.740 the 2020 presidential election. This is massive fraud and election interference at a level never

00:06:40.420 before seen in our country. Remedy, declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal

00:06:45.680 solution, declare the 2020 election irreparably compromised, and a new election should be held

00:06:51.860 immediately. That would be great. I would really enjoy that. Would that it were so simple. That's

00:06:58.300 not going to happen. They're not going to declare the 2020 election null and void. But it would be

00:07:03.660 great. I'd love it if they did. I agree. I think the election was rigged to the hilt. I think there

00:07:09.280 were all sorts of shenanigans in a number of cases. It was overtly illegal and unconstitutional.

00:07:14.540 So yeah, I'm with Trump on this. You're going to hear, you're going to hear in coming weeks and

00:07:19.480 months and moving into 2024, a lot of Republicans turn on Trump. And they're going to make some

00:07:26.280 observations. They're going to say, oh, Trump, he talks too much. He's a distraction. Oh, Trump,

00:07:32.060 we got to move on from Trump. A lot of the people who are going to be saying that didn't like Trump

00:07:36.900 in the first place, and they really hated him in 2016. And so you're going to see a rehashing of a lot

00:07:41.820 of the fights over Trump from 2016. Now, do I think this is particularly helpful,

00:07:47.360 these kinds of tweets and truth social posts or whatever? I don't know. I mean, in a way,

00:07:52.720 it kind of riles up the base. What he's telling them is not, hey, we're going to have a redo of

00:07:57.040 the 2020 election before 2024. What he's telling them is, hey, this was wrong. This was fraud.

00:08:03.900 What they perpetrated on us was very, very wrong, and you should be angry about it. And to that,

00:08:08.200 I agree. I think that's true. I think it was wrong to extend election day to election month.

00:08:12.120 I think it was wrong to push the widespread mail-in ballots. I think it was wrong to lock

00:08:15.340 the whole country down for COVID, which, unfortunately, Donald Trump was a part of.

00:08:19.440 But it was certainly wrong to extend that through into the elections. Yeah, I think that's true.

00:08:23.620 You're not going to hear me turn on Trump, okay? Yeah. Is Ron DeSantis a great potential

00:08:31.020 candidate for president? Absolutely. I think he'd make a great president, probably.

00:08:34.040 Is Ted Cruz a great candidate for president? I certainly think he is. I do a podcast with the

00:08:38.380 guy. I think he's an excellent conservative leader. I think he'd make a great president.

00:08:42.500 Are there other Republicans even who could do a great job? Yeah, yeah, I think so.

00:08:48.240 But I'm not going to make that an excuse to go against Trump. I think Trump is the greatest

00:08:55.340 Republican president in my lifetime. I think the guy got Roe v. Wade overruled. And if the guy wants

00:09:00.620 to run for president, more power to him. I will support the Republican nominee in 2024.

00:09:06.600 Unless the Republican nominee is Liz Cheney or somebody, I will support the Republican nominee.

00:09:13.360 But I'm not going to whine and cry and say, Trump shouldn't run in 2024. Absolutely,

00:09:17.280 he should run if he wants to. He's still got a lot of support. And if the man wants to run,

00:09:23.100 and the man can beat out the other guys in the primary, then that means he's the man for the

00:09:27.780 nomination. That means that he won the process that it takes to become the nominee.

00:09:34.200 And I'm totally fine with that. I would gleefully vote for Donald Trump a third time.

00:09:40.740 Speaking of voting, there's a lot of oppression in the country. Not just the oppression of the

00:09:46.300 conservatives at the hands of the libs who changed the election rules. No, no. I'm talking about the

00:09:51.060 oppression of celebrities and music stars at the Video Music Awards. I'm talking about the oppression

00:09:58.020 of Lizzo, who as she's accepting her award, she reminds everyone they need to go out and vote

00:10:03.780 to stop all the oppression. I don't know what music video for good means, but I do know what your vote

00:10:11.320 means. And that's a lot. Your vote means everything to me. It means everything to making a change in

00:10:20.840 this country. So remember, when you're voting for your favorite artists, vote to change some of these

00:10:28.740 laws that are oppressing us. Now, of course, Lizzo is probably the single least oppressed person on

00:10:38.240 earth. Maybe she's oppressed by our decadent culture, but she's certainly not oppressed by 1.00

00:10:46.500 any of the things that ordinarily would be considered oppressive. She has as many political

00:10:51.340 rights as she wants. She has the abundance of material goods. She can do whatever she pleases. 1.00

00:10:57.920 That's why Lizzo is not being detailed here. She's not saying what laws we should vote against. She's not

00:11:03.600 even saying what candidates to vote against. She's not saying what is oppressing her.

00:11:06.820 She's just saying, yeah, it's oppressive. You got to go vote. It's just the kind of

00:11:14.300 most ridiculous conclusion of Puff Daddy's campaign from 2004, vote or die. Remember, 0.99

00:11:22.160 he had that campaign. He said, vote or die, because they were trying to kick George Bush out of office.

00:11:27.420 They say, I don't think those are the only two options. I don't think a consequence of not voting

00:11:33.460 will be that we all die. I doubt that. It's just so vague. It's just these people being used

00:11:39.640 as parrots for the entrenched powers, for the liberal establishment. A woman wearing a very 0.99

00:11:46.580 fancy, expensive dress, holding a gold statue saying, I'm so oppressed. Be sure to go out and

00:11:52.140 vote against the bad guys for the good guys because of the oppression. And it's not really persuasive

00:11:58.460 anymore. If it ever was persuasive, which I don't think it was. Don't forget, Puff Daddy's

00:12:02.480 voter die thing did not work. But if it ever was persuasive, I just think advances in technology

00:12:08.580 so that now we're not just beholden to the main news networks. We can actually do research ourselves.

00:12:13.240 That really dealt a tough blow to the establishment. Changes in power. The fact now that these libs who

00:12:22.180 used to be on the fringes of power, who used to be able to somewhat credibly claim that they were

00:12:28.200 fighting the man, now that they just dominate the entire establishment, the fact that whenever you

00:12:34.280 see the resistance and BLM and the pride flag, it's always being pushed by gazillion dollar

00:12:38.780 corporations and institutions of the government. That, I think, has changed it. And the fact that

00:12:43.140 these guys have lost the common sense, the fact that the libs push transing the kids and killing all 0.85

00:12:47.280 the babies and opening up all of our borders and destroying our currency and locking us all down over the 0.99

00:12:52.060 Wu flu. And the fact that they won't even close down gay bathhouses to stop monkeypox. I mean, 1.00

00:12:58.320 just on issue after issue after issue, the libs have so lost the common sense that they lose the

00:13:05.220 generic voter, okay? And they lose Joe Rogan. And they lose the people who represent the kind of

00:13:10.800 open-minded middle in American politics. And no speeches from Lizzo are going to change that.

00:13:18.040 This is the fight that we're in. This is the life we're living. And someday we're going to die.

00:13:21.960 Which is why you got to get a will. Right now, go to EpicWill.com and use code

00:13:27.480 Knowles. Unless you're not going to die. You're not going to die. You're that one person who,

00:13:32.240 no, we're all going to die. No one here gets out alive. Not in this world. That's why you need a

00:13:36.620 will. You've heard me talk a lot on this show about how the libs are coming for your kids through

00:13:42.280 the public school system, through mainstream entertainment kids content. As a parent, you may be

00:13:48.160 doing everything you can to protect your child from the left's not-so-secret agenda. Remember when

00:13:53.700 a certain company in Florida was talking about that? But if you don't have a will in place

00:13:58.240 designated who will take over as parental guardian should something happen to you, then the libs are

00:14:04.200 going to intervene. And they're going to take your kids and indoctrinate them and completely

00:14:08.740 disrespect what you would have wanted. That's why you got to check out EpicWill. EpicWill is an

00:14:12.800 online will platform. It costs less than your next trip to the store. They can set you up with a

00:14:18.060 will in as little as five minutes, starting at just $119. Plus, right now, you can save 10% when

00:14:24.880 you go to EpicWill.com and use code Knowles. It's so simple. Take five minutes tonight. Write a will

00:14:31.460 ensuring that your kids will be raised the way you intend in the event that something happens to you.

00:14:36.820 Go to EpicWill.com. Use code Knowles today to save 10%.

00:14:41.280 Speaking of weird hangups about eating, video went viral yesterday. On the streets of New York,

00:14:50.820 an animal rights activist versus a regular guy eating a kebab. And this video, I think this

00:14:57.120 sums up the difference between the left and the right in America. 1.00

00:15:00.080 You're disgusting. What do you think you are? You're just a coward. You're a f***ing coward. 1.00

00:15:04.540 This lady's right in his face, and there's the guy. 1.00

00:15:08.660 You're going to die on your own without f***ing coward. 1.00

00:15:10.120 The guy's just standing there, sunglasses on, eating his kebab. 1.00

00:15:13.000 You and your small d***, and your f***ing way of killing animals, and it feels good. 1.00

00:15:20.260 You hold the blood on your face. You hold the blood on your hands. 1.00

00:15:23.960 He's not saying anything. He's just eating that kebab.

00:15:30.920 This is it. This is what politics looks like right now to the generic voter.

00:15:35.500 The libs are the screaming, shrieking, hyena animal rights activists losing their minds 0.98

00:15:44.400 because a man is eating a street kebab on the sidewalk in New York.

00:15:48.540 And then the conservatives look like just the guy in the t-shirt with the sunglasses

00:15:53.040 trying to enjoy his kebab quietly, not really all that provocative, just eating his lunch.

00:15:59.380 That's what it looks like right now.

00:16:02.420 It didn't always look like that, but that's what it looks like right now.

00:16:06.500 When the libs wail and shriek and cry about the importance of having five-year-olds watch drag queen 1.00

00:16:13.380 shows, they look like the shrieking animal rights lady. When the libs shriek and cry and scream about 1.00

00:16:20.600 the importance of flooding the country with illegal aliens, they look like the crazy animal rights lady. 1.00

00:16:26.060 When the libs wear 17 different masks and have 152 injections of the Fauci algae, 0.99

00:16:31.040 they look like the crazy animal rights lady. And then all the rest of us are here. And what do we say?

00:16:36.000 Most conservatives right now, they're not articulating some super ethereal academic

00:16:42.660 political ideology. They're just saying, hey, maybe don't chop the kids' genitals off. 1.00

00:16:47.040 Maybe don't. Or if you're going to wait a little while at least, right? 0.98

00:16:52.060 Huh? Maybe let's not kill all the kids. It's not in the Constitution. And it's probably wrong, 0.95

00:16:56.480 don't you think? Hey, I don't know. Maybe the fifth shot of the experimental mRNA drug,

00:17:03.620 maybe I don't need that to prevent the mild cough. They seem really, really reasonable and moderate

00:17:09.960 right now, which the right wing does not always seem, but it does right now. That's why they're winning

00:17:14.840 over people like Joe Rogan. That's why they're winning over the middle of the road voter.

00:17:20.460 That's why Liz Cheney has a little bit of a career right now. She's not taking any votes away from the 1.00

00:17:24.780 right, from the Republicans. She's taking votes away from the Democrats. Because she is effectively a 1.00

00:17:30.480 Democrat and she's attacking Trump, but she's prying off a decent percentage of the moderate 0.95

00:17:34.820 Democrats. That's why the polls are showing if she were to run for president in 2024, 0.95

00:17:39.060 she would single-handedly swing the election to Trump against Biden.

00:17:44.400 Speaking of eating, this is a story I've been waiting to get to for a while.

00:17:48.760 And CNN has given me the opportunity. Headline from CNN,

00:17:52.760 Mealworm Seasoning. Scientists explore creepy, crawly flavoring to satisfy meat cravings.

00:18:02.380 Would you like some meaty, savory mealworm powder seasoning with your food?

00:18:07.240 It's a question you might soon be hearing at the dinner table, or at least that's the hope of 1.00

00:18:12.580 the scientists at South Korea's Wonkwang University. That's right. The research that

00:18:19.960 they're working on is a response to the dietary demands of a growing global population and the

00:18:23.760 looming climate crisis. And the argument is that because of the sun monster and because people are

00:18:30.320 having babies, we all have to eat bugs. There has been a really weird push from the libs to make us

00:18:37.480 all eat bugs. There was that video that came out a couple of months ago that of all the celebrities

00:18:42.500 eating bugs, there are articles that pop up in the mainstream media constantly talking about how we

00:18:49.020 need to eat crickets. Now we need to eat mealworms. We have to do it. Why? First of all, when we talk

00:18:54.080 about the growing population, the population in the West is dying. The United States has had a dying

00:18:58.660 population for 50 years. So our population is not growing. That's why we have to flood the country

00:19:02.820 with illegal aliens and legal immigrants, for that matter, to artificially prop our economy up. 0.98

00:19:08.120 So the population growth is not a big problem. And the idea that the sun monster is forcing us to

00:19:13.620 eat bugs is insane. If anything, a little extra heat, a little extra sunshine is going to improve

00:19:20.080 conditions for ranching and farming. So what's this all about? What this is all about is not

00:19:28.360 the sun monster or any of the doomsday predictions that the libs always have global warming, global

00:19:33.920 cooling, the population bomb. Remember that? They're worried about population. Now, 50 years ago in 1970,

00:19:39.640 the libs predicted in a very famous book by Paul Ehrlich called The Population Bomb that the world

00:19:45.640 population within the ensuing, the following 10 years would grow and it would cause mass famine.

00:19:51.440 And this was unavoidable. And that's why we needed forced sterilization and contraception. 0.75

00:19:55.540 And that didn't happen. Today, the world population has doubled. Malnutrition is at an all-time low.

00:20:01.280 So that was all just fake news. But whatever it is, the doomsday predictions of the global warming and

00:20:05.780 the global cooling and the population bomb and all the rest of it, and the ozone layer and acid rain and

00:20:11.260 all the other things, they don't ever destroy the world. We're now several years into AOC's prediction

00:20:17.460 that the world's going to end in 10 years. I think we're going to be fine. We're now well past Prince

00:20:21.400 Charles's prediction that the world was going to end a couple of years ago. What is this about?

00:20:26.780 The reason they want us to eat bugs is because it's gross. The reason they want us to eat bugs

00:20:33.380 is the same reason that Catholics don't eat. It's not the same reason, but it's the same principle 0.92

00:20:39.020 as to why Catholics don't eat meat on Fridays. It's the same principle why people of all religious

00:20:44.020 backgrounds fast sometimes or eat food that can be bitter or unpleasant at some times for the purposes

00:20:52.440 of spiritual discipline. The reason that they want us to eat bugs is because of how yucky they are,

00:20:57.300 because it breaks a taboo. It's not that we need to eat the bugs to save the planet, and as a

00:21:04.900 consequence of that, it's going to break our taboos. The libs want us to break the taboos because the 1.00

00:21:09.880 libs don't like Western culture, and they don't like our traditional ways of life, and they don't 0.58

00:21:13.900 like our traditional religion, and they want us to take part in their new weirdo culture that's based 0.94

00:21:18.180 on their weirdo new-agey environmentalist religion. And so to be inducted into that and to train in a

00:21:23.520 spiritual discipline for that, they want us to eat the bugs. There is zero reason economically,

00:21:29.320 ecologically, no reason in the West, especially in America, that we need to eat the bugs.

00:21:34.000 They just want us to do it so that we're in the cult with them. The bugs are much more a symbol

00:21:41.700 than they are a source of protein. Elon Musk just made a great observation about this. Elon Musk,

00:21:48.300 who is a big supporter of renewable electric energy, obviously he makes a lot of money on electric cars,

00:21:54.340 Elon Musk, who believes in global warming and climate change, during a recent energy conference

00:21:59.400 in Norway, Musk pointed out, quote, some additional exploration of oil and gas resources is warranted

00:22:06.040 at this time. So unlike a lot of the other environmentalist libs, he's saying, no, no,

00:22:10.440 we're not just going to get off of gas and oil. He says, realistically, I think we need to use oil and

00:22:15.040 gas in the short term because otherwise civilization will crumble. One of the biggest challenges the world

00:22:19.780 has ever faced is the transition to sustainable energy and to a sustainable economy. This will take some

00:22:24.780 decades to complete. Great observation. And it reminds us why the libs are erecting all those

00:22:30.140 stupid windmills that kill the birds and don't really produce any energy. Green energy doesn't 1.00

00:22:34.580 really work. Okay. When you look at the efficiency, when you look at the energy output, it is absolutely

00:22:39.620 nothing compared to oil and gas and certainly compared to nuclear power. If the libs were really

00:22:44.560 just interested in generating abundant, cheap, sustainable energy, they would build nuclear power plants.

00:22:50.740 And yet the libs are not doing that. They're vehemently opposed to that. If the libs wanted 0.74

00:22:55.180 cheap, abundant energy that contrary to popular belief is not going to run out anytime soon,

00:23:00.720 probably anytime at all, they would use fossil fuels. But that's not what they want. What the libs

00:23:07.560 are really after is making us kind of sacrifice, making us feel the pinch, making us go through a kind

00:23:14.300 of spiritual discipline, just like eating the bugs. They want us to turn off our energy and to stop

00:23:22.320 traveling as far and to stop doing as much and to stop using gas and to not even consider doing

00:23:26.760 nuclear energy because it hurts. When they build those windmills, they're not building a source of

00:23:32.260 sustainable energy. They're just building a religious icon. It's just the modern version of an ancient

00:23:38.900 Egyptian obelisk with a weird little spinny thing on top. That's what it's about. The primary function 0.99

00:23:43.700 of the windmills and all of the other monuments to environmentalism is as a symbol, is as a monument

00:23:50.260 to the new kind of cult, the new kind of religion. While we used to build big crosses, we used to build

00:23:55.920 statues of Christ the Redeemer. While we used to build, even outside of Christianity, we used to build

00:24:01.100 ziggurats and pyramids and giant weird obelisks. Now we build these monuments to the new gods of

00:24:07.660 environmentalism. It's just a weird, creepy cult, and it drives people just as nuts as the animal

00:24:14.260 rights activists screaming at the shish kebab guy on the streets of New York. We've got to protect 1.00

00:24:19.160 ourselves from these lunatics. That's why you got to check out Ring. Summer is busy. People are away 0.77

00:24:24.140 from home quite a bit. I was just gallivanting all over the place. I was obviously away from home when

00:25:35.620 slash Knowles. Speaking of unnecessary pain and suffering, there is a weird kind of contradiction

00:25:45.140 in U.S. policy right now. In order for a foreigner to get into the United States, not for an American 0.92

00:25:52.200 to get back into the United States, but for a foreigner to get into the United States on an airplane,

00:25:56.680 they need to show proof of vaccination. That they have received the Fauci-Auchi against COVID-19.

00:26:04.640 However, in order for a Guatemalan peasant to get into the United States,

00:26:09.640 he just has to cross the Rio Grande. And he's not going to be checked for COVID. And he's not

00:26:13.160 going to be stopped at the border. And he's not only going to be ushered in, they're probably going

00:26:16.640 to put him on an airplane and ship him somewhere into the middle of the country if Greg Abbott doesn't

00:26:20.340 get to him first and ship him to Washington, D.C. What's up with that? Why is it the case

00:26:26.800 that visitors to the United States and legal immigrants to the United States have to have

00:26:32.280 the COVID vaccine? And if they don't, they're a threat and a danger to public health. But the

00:26:37.060 millions of illegal aliens pouring across our southern border, they don't pose any risk at all.

00:26:42.240 Don't worry. No tests, no shots. Let them write in. That's what Peter Doocy asked yesterday of the

00:26:48.040 White House Press Secretary, Kareem Jean-Pierre, during the press briefing.

00:26:52.320 Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane. You say that's not okay. Somebody walks into Texas 0.98

00:26:58.960 or Arizona unvaccinated, they're allowed to stay. Why? But that's not how it works. Like,

00:27:04.640 we actually, no. I know that that's not what you guys want to happen, but that is what is happening.

00:27:08.760 But that's not, it's not like somebody walks over and that's not, that's not how.

00:27:13.240 That's exactly what's happening. We, well.

00:27:15.420 Thousands of people are walking in a day. Some of them turn themselves over. Some of them are

00:27:21.060 caught. Tens of thousands a week are not. That is what is happening.

00:27:25.460 So let me just lay out what we have done under this administration. We have installed new border

00:27:31.120 technology and set up joint protocols with Mexico and Guatemala.

00:27:35.520 I love that her first reaction is, that's not what's happening. No. Because she doesn't know her

00:27:41.540 own policies. She, in the same press briefing, she stumbled on the status of Title 42, which is one

00:27:46.700 of the Trump era border policies that Joe Biden got rid of. She didn't even know the status of that

00:27:51.920 anymore. And she didn't know that people who fly into the country have to have the vaccines while the

00:27:56.900 people who cross the border illegally don't. And so Peter Doocy is there not merely asking questions

00:28:00.960 for her to clarify. He is clarifying it for her. He's saying, no, no, no, no, this is what's

00:28:05.820 happening. That's not what's happening, Peter. No, Karina, literally that is what's happening.

00:28:11.140 Oh, okay. Here are my talking points. Here are all of my talking points. And what it speaks to

00:28:19.500 is something that is really irritating the generic voter, namely the fact that we have a two-tier system

00:28:25.360 of justice in America, that there are two different sets of rules. You get the privileged people,

00:28:31.260 and then you get the people who get punished. That's it. Privilege and punishment. And I think

00:28:37.800 your generic voter, such as he is, whatever he thinks about immigration, whatever he thinks about

00:28:43.840 COVID, whatever he thinks about the vaccines or Dr. Fauci or any of the rest of them, he's going to

00:28:48.620 look at that and say, well, that's not fair. That's not fair that the guys who break our laws across

00:28:54.840 the border, they get to come in without the vaccine. But the businessmen and the tourists

00:29:00.300 and the legal immigrants don't. Same issue with the student loans. In principle, I don't think that 1.00

00:29:08.120 the government has absolutely no right whatsoever to forgive student loans. I think it's a stupid 1.00

00:29:14.300 policy. I don't think they should forgive the student loans. But the government can do that. 1.00

00:29:17.860 That's the sort of thing a government can do, certainly if they follow the right legislative channels.

00:29:22.780 Sure, you might make an argument that it's really important for the future of America,

00:29:27.760 for the common good, for national security, for human flourishing, to pay off people's student loan

00:29:36.020 debt. Because that will encourage more people to go to college. And it's more important to pay that

00:29:39.700 off than, I don't know, to pay off farm loans or to pay off small business loans. Again, I don't think

00:29:44.060 that's true. But I could at least see how you could make that argument within the political order.

00:29:50.700 But that political, even if that political argument did hold water, it doesn't work on

00:29:58.060 the campaign trail in the public square to the generic voter. I think the generic voter is going

00:30:02.800 to look at that and say, that's not fair. That's not fair. That one group gets special privileges when

00:30:09.740 their votes get bought and the other group gets punished. That's not fair. And I don't like that.

00:30:15.500 And this is coming up right now because the tennis player, Novak Djokovic, withdrew from the U.S. Open

00:30:20.580 over the vaccine requirement. And this is another important way to appeal to generic voters,

00:30:27.080 is talk about normal things. Don't talk about abstract political philosophy. Talk about sports.

00:30:32.000 Talk about the U.S. Open. Talk about things in the popular culture.

00:30:35.100 And so, especially, even if you don't give a damn about the vaccine requirements and illegal 0.53

00:30:40.520 immigration, you look at that and you say, look, it's ridiculous that this guy, Novak Djokovic,

00:30:44.400 who's a very serious athlete, he's obviously very healthy, he doesn't need the vaccine,

00:30:50.920 is being kept away from this big tournament. That's ridiculous. And the party that's keeping 0.91

00:30:55.900 him away, they've lost the plot. They've lost the common sense. And the party that's encouraging

00:30:59.560 to come in, I'm more with those guys. Speaking of illegal things, speaking of criminals,

00:31:06.560 the Wisconsin Democrat candidate for Senate, Mandela Barnes, it just keeps getting more and

00:31:12.680 more radical. We talked about him a little bit yesterday. He's really, really out there. Well,

00:31:17.460 now there's a new video of him that has surfaced describing that the way that he would really

00:31:22.800 reform our political system is he would correct the great injustice that prisoners, inmates are not

00:31:32.180 allowed to vote. We're not talking about people who get to make decisions. We're talking about

00:31:37.600 incarcerated individuals who don't have a right to vote, which is unfortunate itself in another

00:31:42.620 conversation. That's the new word, by the way. New political correctness just dropped. It's

00:31:48.040 incarcerated individuals. Excuse me. Someone needs to go call up Charles Manson. As a member,

00:31:54.840 as a representative of the incarcerated individuals community, let's get Jeffrey Dahmer out here. 0.81

00:32:00.720 As the spokesman for the incarcerated individuals, no, they're criminals. They're inmates. They haven't

00:32:07.500 even paid their debt to society yet. And they're not even allowed to vote. Right. They're not allowed

00:32:13.000 to vote because they broke the law and they are in the process of paying back that debt. And so

00:32:19.240 the very reason that they are in prison is because they attacked justice. They attacked our political

00:32:27.460 order. So no, certainly not while they were paying that debt back. And in most sane societies,

00:32:33.680 including afterward, you don't just get your full rights to participate in the political order again.

00:32:38.680 That undermines the political order. I never, I never want to hear the Dems talk about rule of

00:32:45.240 law again. I never bought it. It was always ridiculous. It really began in earnest after

00:32:51.500 January 6th, but they were talking about it all throughout the Trump administration.

00:32:55.240 They said, oh no, the horn hat guy danced around the Capitol. This is a threat to the rule of law.

00:33:01.660 Guys, you, you, you all spent eight months burning the country down during BLM. 0.97

00:33:08.940 Your elected leaders bailed out the rioters. I don't, I think, I think that was a greater threat

00:33:14.640 to the rule of law than the horn hat guy. Well, no, but the Donald Trump had a phone call with Ukraine.

00:33:22.140 It's a threat to the rule of law. I don't, how is that a threat to the rule of law?

00:33:26.140 The Biden family actually peddled American influence on Ukraine while Biden was the

00:33:31.940 point man on Ukraine and got over $50,000 a month in bribes for it. That, no, that wasn't a threat.

00:33:39.220 It's just, it's all just so disingenuous. It's so preposterous. And the fact that now the Democrats

00:33:44.420 are actually the party of let all the criminals out of prison, I think ends any claim that they

00:33:50.140 could possibly make about defending the rule of law. They never want to defend the rule of law.

00:33:54.620 What they want to do is, is destroy the rule of law and increase tyranny around the country.

00:34:00.200 And they do it for a political reason. It's not just because they're like the Joker and they want

00:34:03.220 to watch the world burn. The reason they want to do that is because it affords them an opportunity

00:34:07.580 then to crack down. And when they crack down, they can take more power and that further entrenches them

00:34:12.660 where they want to be. Speaking of the rule of law, got to give Bill Maher credit. I am not one of

00:34:18.900 those conservatives that is constantly trying to give credit to the moderates and the libertarians and the

00:34:23.440 squishes and the, you know, he's one of the classical smart liberals. I think that conservatives have a

00:34:29.720 lot of big disagreements, even with the classical liberals. But Bill Maher just made a really good

00:34:33.700 point. He was on his show and he said, look, I'm, I'm pro abortion, but you guys got to cut it out

00:34:39.440 with your stupid comments and your stupid slogans about if you're, you know, if you're pro life, 1.00

00:34:45.080 just don't get an abortion because that doesn't make any sense. 1.00

00:34:48.000 I'm more pro choice than you could imagine. Um, I don't think life is always precious. Most people

00:34:54.740 don't think that what I'm saying is you shouldn't say to the other side, you people hate women. They 1.00

00:35:00.100 don't hate women. They just think it's murder. And if you think it's murder, then you can't go, 0.99

00:35:05.600 well, except for people with a vagina, they can commit murder. I don't think it's murder, 0.99

00:35:09.360 but they legitimately do. Thank you. Thank you, Bill. I appreciate it. Bill Maher might be the last

00:35:15.960 honest pro abortion person on the left. Naomi Wolf made a similar point. She actually went even a 0.99

00:35:22.000 little bit further in the nineties. Uh, she was then much more left-leaning feminist author and 0.96

00:35:27.380 Naomi Wolf said, look, we got to admit that the baby is a baby and the baby's alive and we legal

00:35:32.280 abortion. We should have it, but we just have to admit that the woman is killing the baby in his full 1.00

00:35:36.280 humanity. Okay. You have, if you want to defend abortion, that's what you have to do. And I was

00:35:41.460 just on a TV show, uh, a few weeks ago with, uh, a liberal Brian Tyler Cohen, and he used these,

00:35:48.440 these slogans. And I just thought it's so frivolous as I pointed out on the show. He says,

00:35:53.580 if you don't want an abortion, just don't get an abortion. It's not your business. It's not your 1.00

00:35:57.240 choice. It's not your, it's not your right. And you just think, buddy, you're not even,

00:36:02.280 maybe you support abortion, but at least engage with the actual topic at hand.

00:36:09.320 My claim is that abortion is morally equivalent to murder because the baby is a baby.

00:36:16.140 And so you have, you have to, if that's the claim, if that's the center point of the, of the issue,

00:36:21.240 then you've got to at least in some way engage with it. And you can argue, you can try to argue

00:36:26.040 that the baby's not a baby. That's not going to work. You can try to argue that the baby's not alive.

00:36:29.660 That's not going to work. And so the only thing you're left with is what Bill Maher finally comes

00:36:33.320 down to, which is he says, look, I don't really care. I don't, I don't mind it. I think we should

00:36:37.500 be able to kill these things. But, but if you're pro-life, that's not what you believe. And so you've 0.99

00:36:42.020 got to be consistent. You've got to get rid of these dumb slogans in large part because these dumb 0.99

00:36:47.360 slogans are not really persuasive anymore. You know, the corporate media not only control what they 0.99

00:36:55.760 want you to know, but their agenda means the news is presented in a biased way.

00:37:01.700 You know it. I know it. We all know it. Thankfully, there is a way to get the most important news of

00:37:08.180 the day without that crazy narrative. And that is by listening to one of the top news podcasts,

00:37:13.700 Morning Wire. New episodes are available every morning, seven days a week. They cover stories,

00:37:18.820 other media outlets will not touch. Check out Morning Wire on Apple Podcasts, Spotify,

00:37:23.160 Daily Wire Plus, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

00:37:28.940 Some people are not able to see past the tired old slogans. One of those people

00:37:34.680 would be Adam Kinzinger, the nominal Republican who just got booted out of Congress because he's 0.93

00:37:41.400 a big squish lib who spends all of his time sucking up to Democrats. So Adam Kinzinger goes on a Democrat 0.84

00:37:47.040 show to go suck up to another Democrat, Chuck Todd, on Meet the Press. And Adam Kinzinger announced that

00:37:51.800 he would be dedicating himself and all of his vast resources and all of his half dozen followers and

00:37:57.680 supporters to campaigning against Republicans, even for far left Democrats, because the Republicans are

00:38:05.120 a threat to democracy. Liz Cheney said that in some cases she may have to help a Democrat win

00:38:13.940 against sort of an anti-democracy Republican. Do you feel that's what you're going to be doing

00:38:18.580 over the next couple of years yourself? Yes. Yeah. I mean, look, the biggest issue,

00:38:24.520 not everybody agrees with me, certainly in my party and even Democrats that like to say things

00:38:28.760 like, well, but you're still a conservative. Yeah, I'm a conservative. But the bottom line is

00:38:33.580 the biggest threat right now to our country is democracy. And if you have Republicans that are

00:38:38.680 running against even left-wing Democrats that believe in democracy and believe in voting,

00:38:43.720 that person should be elected over somebody who basically would overthrow the will of the people

00:38:48.680 and ultimately destroy this country. This country cannot survive outside of democracy.

00:38:53.500 It will turn into a power struggle between groups of different races, of different ethnicities,

00:38:58.180 of different religions, because the thing that holds us together is this belief that we can

00:39:02.180 self-govern. Take that away. This country is a mess. And so Republicans that are for that have no

00:39:07.840 place in office. I don't care what their policy position on taxes are.

00:39:11.000 So pretty much everything Adam Kinzinger said there is wrong. He did have this funny line. It

00:39:17.340 was a Freudian slip where he said, the greatest threat to our country right now is democracy,

00:39:20.880 which I think a lot of the Democrats and the squishy fake Republicans would agree with.

00:39:28.060 That's why they're trying to prevent Trump from appearing on a ballot because they fear

00:39:31.000 democracy. They don't want people to vote for him. That's why they're trying to delegitimize

00:39:35.120 half the country and say that they're semi-fascists and to kick them out of the public square

00:39:40.640 and stop them from having their voices heard. Because of the Democrats and the cucks, for lack 0.70

00:39:46.920 of a better word, the court jester conservatives who suck up to the Democrats, these guys are 0.98

00:39:54.200 terrified of democracy. Now, the rest of what Adam Kinzinger said is just ridiculous. Adam Kinzinger says 0.99

00:40:02.060 that the country can't survive outside of democracy. First of all, the country is not a pure democracy.

00:40:07.240 The founding fathers wrote at length, and the framers of the Constitution wrote at length

00:40:11.840 about the fears of a pure democracy because pure democracy would devolve into mob rule.

00:40:16.980 And ironically, what they said would happen as a result of that is what Adam Kinzinger says would

00:40:21.420 happen without pure democracy. Adam Kinzinger says without pure democracy, then America will just

00:40:26.740 delve down into factions and tribes who attack each other on race and religion and all the rest of it.

00:40:33.160 What the founding fathers believed and what the framers of the Constitution believed is the

00:40:36.380 opposite. They said if we have just a pure democracy, then you're going to have the mob

00:40:40.660 devolve down into factions and tribes and warring groups that just attack each other over their

00:40:45.300 interests and not in reasoned discourse. That's why the American regime is a fairly mixed regime, 0.96

00:40:50.400 at least at the founding. It's got an executive. It's got a kind of monarchical element to it.

00:40:55.080 It's got an aristocratic element to it, certainly in the U.S. Senate and states' rights. And then it's got

00:41:00.800 a democratic element to it, a very heavy democratic element as well. So there are a lot of things

00:41:05.920 going on in the American system of government, some of which have been eroded away and none of 0.99

00:41:12.600 which Adam Kinzinger understands because he's just caught up in these stupid headlines. He sounds like 0.99

00:41:17.600 Lizzo. There's no difference. He's Congressman Lizzo. We need oppression. There's oppression we need to

00:41:22.820 vote against. And I'm a conservative. Because of why? Because he says, he actually says the point

00:41:29.380 that we always joke about on this show, which is that just because you want to cut taxes,

00:41:35.780 that doesn't make you a conservative. In many cases, it just makes you a greedy Democrat.

00:41:40.280 And Adam Kinzinger goes, look, I'm a conservative, okay? I love cutting taxes. But just because someone

00:41:45.480 wants to cut taxes with me, I might vote against them. And do what? And do what? Kinzinger says he's

00:41:50.080 going to vote for people who want to chop off your kids' genitals, who want to kill hundreds of 1.00

00:41:53.880 thousands of babies per year, who want to censor anyone to the right of Hillary Clinton, who want 1.00

00:41:59.940 to flood the country with illegal aliens, all because what? All to stop the mean orange man 0.99

00:42:04.920 who the people support. The mean orange man who got himself elected president in 2016. At least once,

00:42:11.900 at least one time, he did that. The attacks on Republicans are really, really ramping up.

00:42:17.000 There is a liberal columnist named Brandon Friedman, who is now saying that when Republicans

00:42:24.020 complain about taxes, about that, even when Republicans tailor their criticisms just to taxes,

00:42:30.980 even that is evidence that they're evil and racist and insurrectionist, and they want to 0.88

00:42:37.740 overthrow the country. I'm not joking. This guy, Brandon Friedman, tweets out, 0.97

00:42:42.020 this was in response to Ted Cruz suggesting that we abolish the IRS. This is something that

00:42:47.980 Republicans have campaigned on for a long time. Friedman says, Republicans don't just hate the

00:42:53.080 IRS because it pays for things like highways and social security. There's history here.

00:42:58.940 They hate what it represents. The IRS was created in 1862 specifically to fund the Civil War,

00:43:06.100 to end slavery and to burn white supremacy to the ground. Abolish the IRS may sound like an innocuous

00:43:15.780 anti-tax message, but it's literally, literally, not figuratively, literally a call to defund the US

00:43:23.840 military. The same military that crushed secessionists the first time. It's fundamentally

00:43:31.000 an anti-government message. The insurrection continues. Don't forget, just want to remind you,

00:43:40.920 insurrection, treason, these are crimes punishable by death. And the libs are just casually,

00:43:47.120 cavalierly accusing half of the country, all of us, you and me, of a crime, of a capital offense,

00:43:53.880 if we even want to lower taxes a little bit. That's where we are. Seems like a threat to

00:44:02.220 democracy to me. Also, his history is a little bit screwy here. It is true that something like

00:44:09.100 the IRS was established in the Civil War to raise money to fight the war. But the IRS really begins

00:44:14.620 in earnest in 1913 in the progressive era. And so no, when you say we want to cut taxes or abolish

00:44:21.940 the IRS, you're not saying that you want to undo the Civil War or you want to destroy the government

00:44:26.180 or anything like that at all. You're saying you want to abolish the IRS.

00:44:31.280 What does this tell you, though? What this tells you is, one, the libs are way more radical than

00:44:35.960 even a lot of conservatives recognize. Two, it tells you that the libs are far more anti-democracy

00:44:41.640 than a lot of conservatives even recognize. But three, it tells you that race, race and civil

00:44:49.300 rights, that is the narrative in American politics. Every political fight will in some way be twisted

00:44:59.700 or distorted to seem like it in some way relates to race or civil rights. All the weird sex stuff that 0.53

00:45:07.500 you've seen now with the transgender stuff and the gay rights movement and all the rest of it,

00:45:12.620 all the language of that was the language of civil rights. It was the language of the 1960s black 0.67

00:45:18.200 rights movement. We're the new civil rights movement. They'll even call themselves that.

00:45:23.840 It's all about marriage equality, just like you had interracial marriage equality. That's what 0.62

00:45:27.980 you're going to have, gay marriage equality. Now, of course, the gay stuff has nothing to do with 0.75

00:45:31.300 black people. And frankly, black people disproportionately disapprove of all the gay 1.00

00:45:35.260 sex stuff. It doesn't matter. Everything has to tie back to race and civil rights in America. 1.00

00:45:42.000 Cutting taxes, abolishing the IRS. If you want to abolish the IRS, you might as well put a bullet 0.50

00:45:47.100 through Dr. King yourself. What? What the hell are you talking about? That has absolutely nothing to 0.96

00:45:53.360 do with race. We want to give tax cuts to black people too. What are you talking about? It's because 0.91

00:45:58.940 that is the dominant narrative. Now, it gets a little awkward that all the political narratives

00:46:06.060 in America have to tie back to race and civil rights because the Associated Press just published 0.69

00:46:10.720 yesterday what it considers to be the most important story about the Federal Reserve Bank. The Federal

00:46:15.540 Reserve is tasked with tackling inflation, obviously not going so well right now.

00:46:21.620 But because no one cares about numbers or economics or the common good or the health of the country,

00:46:25.420 all anyone wants to talk about is race. The AEP decided to point out that the Fed is tackling

00:46:31.300 inflation with its most diverse leadership ever. They're saying the Fed's boardroom leadership has

00:46:41.080 become its most diverse ever. There are more female, black, and openly gay officials contributing to the 0.96

00:46:45.380 central bank's interest rate decisions than at any time in its 109-year history. Many are also far

00:46:51.040 less wealthy than the officials they've replaced. And I read this headline and I thought, is David Duke

00:46:56.980 running the AP now? This is, hold on, you're telling me, you're telling me that inflation right now

00:47:03.300 is worse than ever. And also, the people in charge of inflation are disproportionately minorities 0.79

00:47:11.000 and poor people. I don't, what are, are you trying to tell me that we should only have rich white guys

00:47:15.440 run the Fed? Is that, that is, that is clearly the insinuation of this article. Then cool it with

00:47:20.620 the racism-associated press, but they don't even see it because they're just so now used to like

00:47:26.040 automatons, like robots, just churning out for every single issue, including interest rates that,

00:47:32.520 historic, first ever black, trans, gay, woman, poor, minority, cis, trans, whatever. And they don't 1.00

00:47:43.540 even realize that what they're saying is undercutting much of their own arguments. Not, not a really good

00:47:50.160 look. Not really good look at all. Now, we have a lot more to this show. Speaking of insurrections,

00:47:57.340 speaking of the kind of crazy, shrieking people pulling their hair out versus the relatively kind

00:48:03.140 of normal, average, generic voter. The rest of the show is continuing now. We've got a really great
