The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1107 - Tulsi Gabbard Dumps The Woke Democrat Party

00:00:00.000 In political debates, it's easy to fall into abstractions, to think of politics as simply

00:00:05.680 a matter of ideas floating in the ether, rather than as real policies that affect real people.

00:00:13.060 This is especially true when we talk about transing the kids, which is a very popular

00:00:19.420 topic of discussion on both sides of the aisle. The whole thing is so bizarre,

00:00:24.180 most people have no idea what it looks like in practice. This is what it looks like.

00:00:29.640 This is what giving a 16-year-old girl testosterone looks like. 1.00

00:00:35.820 So I got out of my haircut because my hair was driving me nuts, and I shaved it because

00:00:41.960 I'm tired of watching my hair thin out, and it's less distressing if I shave it. So when I talk about

00:00:47.640 being too far gone, I don't really know what else to call it. This is what I mean. This is how deep

00:00:53.860 my voice is. It's gotten deeper over time, and it's settled. This is what I mean by hair loss.

00:01:01.980 And it just keeps getting worse. It keeps thinning. It keeps receding backwards.

00:01:07.400 You know, and I'm not exactly sure that's coming back. Those are the main things when I talk about

00:01:12.540 being androgenized to a point of no return. I really don't see those being fixable.

00:01:19.200 So that's when I talk about, you know, just kind of staying how I am, regardless of how I feel.

00:01:26.280 That's why, just because I don't really see me personally being able to come back from

00:01:30.640 what's happened so far. So I hope that's a little explanatory.

00:01:34.080 Your heart just breaks for this girl. And it breaks because deep down, you know that she's

00:01:41.660 right. There is no way to undo the damage inflicted on her body by the adults who mutilated her body.

00:01:50.540 I'm not saying that all hope is lost. It isn't. I'm not saying that she can't live a wonderful life.

00:01:55.860 She certainly can. But something really was taken from her by every adult who should have known better

00:02:03.120 and who allowed this to happen from her immediate family all the way up to President Biden,

00:02:07.340 who pushes this stuff at the federal level. Okay, something was really taken from her.

00:02:12.200 And we labor under this delusion in modern life that nothing's permanent. Everything's reversible.

00:02:19.140 There's no, all of your commitments, all of your obligations, all of your decisions about your

00:02:23.420 own body and your life. None of it's permanent. You can just change whatever, but that's not true.

00:02:27.760 That there is a lot of irreversible damage that came as a result of this transgender 1.00

00:02:32.700 insanity, this fad that's going to pass, but the damage is not going to pass. You'll notice the 0.79

00:02:38.620 left never promotes these videos. The left never shows you mutilated kids. Or forget about

00:02:46.300 transgenderism for a second. Left never shows you dying babies in the womb. The left never shows you 0.78

00:02:50.980 crime in the border towns. The left never shows you addicts who overdose on drugs. The left never shows

00:02:57.580 you any of the actual effects of their policies. The left does the opposite. The left relies on

00:03:03.580 euphemisms. That's what political correctness is. Vague words intended to hide harsh realities,

00:03:09.500 intended to deceive. That distinction tells you everything you need to know about American 0.52

00:03:14.640 politics in 2022. In order for the left to win, it needs to hide the reality of what it is doing.

00:03:21.160 In order for the right to win, it just needs to convince people to open their eyes. I'm Michael

00:03:26.540 Knowles. It's The Michael Knowles Show. Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is

00:03:37.620 from Heather Webb, who says, Madonna is going through the world's longest midlife crisis. That's so true.

00:03:44.660 The country is going through a midlife crisis. The country is going through this absolute,

00:03:49.320 what is a midlife crisis? A midlife crisis is a refusal to acknowledge the reality of one's own

00:03:55.080 age and the passage of time and the passing away of certain frivolities and the taking on of new

00:04:00.360 responsibilities. And so what do we all want to do? We want to all pretend that we're kids again.

00:04:05.080 But the sad thing about a midlife crisis is pretending to be a kid again is never going to

00:04:09.640 help. It's only going to make things worse. And that's what we're all going through. As a country,

00:04:13.300 we're refusing to get married. We're refusing to have kids. We're refusing to take on

00:04:16.460 responsibilities. We're refusing to do adulting, you know, to grow up. We're in just a never never

00:04:21.400 land. And it's great when little kids act like kids, good for them. But when adults act like kids,

00:04:27.420 things go really, really wrong. Time is passing. You are getting older and you will, I promise you,

00:04:33.740 die someday. That's why you need to check out Epic Will. Right now, head on over to epicwill.com.

00:04:40.540 Use promo code Knowles. For those of you who have been following the story,

00:04:44.100 Vanderbilt Hospital has agreed to pause all gender transition surgeries on minors. This is a big win. 0.90

00:04:51.680 A leftist institution has caved to pressure from the right. That deserves some recognition,

00:04:57.600 but the fight is far from over. There is so much more that we can do to protect our children from

00:05:03.600 evil leftist indoctrination. One very simple thing that you can do today is write a will. Many new

00:05:11.560 parents don't realize how important it is to have a will in place. Even I, until very recently,

00:05:16.520 did not have an updated will that took into account my kids and all my stuff. And the last will I had

00:05:21.000 was from when I was 18 or something like that. I just finally signed on the dotted line and finished

00:05:26.740 my will because I took a little bit of time to make all the decisions. But you can create a will

00:05:31.100 right now. It's very, very simple. It costs $119 for a single person. When you use promo code

00:05:48.060 promo code Knowles. Some people are opening their eyes. And even people who were Democrats for their

00:05:54.980 whole life, even people who were professionally Democrats, even people who ran for president in the

00:06:02.160 Democrat primary, and then dropped out and endorsed the Democrat nominee, Joe Biden,

00:06:07.840 even they are waking up and they are leaving the Democrat party, namely Tulsi Gabbard.

00:06:13.560 I can no longer remain in today's Democratic party that's under the complete control of an

00:06:19.700 elitist cabal of warmongers who were driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing

00:06:26.700 every issue and stoking anti-white racism, who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms 0.75

00:06:33.520 that are enshrined in our Constitution, who are hostile to people of faith and spirituality,

00:06:40.340 who demonize the police but protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans,

00:06:45.380 who believe in open borders, who weaponize the national security state to go after their political

00:06:51.020 opponents, and above all who are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war. Now, I believe in a 0.74

00:06:59.240 government that's of the people, by the people, and for the people. Unfortunately, today's Democratic

00:07:06.320 Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by, and for the powerful elite.

00:07:13.600 Now, I'm calling on my fellow common-sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in

00:07:20.700 leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so-called woke

00:07:26.900 Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, then I invite you to join me.

00:07:32.640 She is 100% correct. Every word she said, every syllable she said is correct. There's no but.

00:07:44.080 There's no but. I often do not focus on the stories of so-and-so's leaving the left,

00:07:50.800 or the liberals, or the Democrats, or whatever, because I just think, okay, yeah, we always cheer

00:07:55.620 when some lib, you know, is no longer comfortable in the Democrat Party, and we make a big to-do out

00:08:01.280 of it. But usually, the person remains fairly liberal, or vice versa. You know, some liberal

00:08:07.140 Republican finally says, okay, I hate these conservatives. I'm thinking of Adam Kinzinger or Liz

00:08:11.540 Cheney or whatever, but some big lib who pretends to be a Republican says, okay, I'm not going to be

00:08:16.180 a Republican anymore. And all of a sudden, the libs cheer, and they go crazy, and they make a big to-do

00:08:20.960 out of it. And I think it's often disingenuous. But what we're seeing here from Tulsi Gabbard

00:08:26.160 is something genuinely novel, you don't get the impression, listening to that, that she,

00:08:36.520 well, she was just mistaken to be a Democrat. Come on, Tulsi, you know, you're just, you're a

00:08:41.020 Republican. You just don't know it yet. No, that's not, you don't get that feeling. You get the feeling

00:08:45.240 that she could have fit into the Democratic Party maybe at some point, but there were always things

00:08:49.380 that are a little different. I think Tulsi Gabbard genuinely isn't independent. The things she's

00:08:55.580 talking about there are kind of edgy. She's calling out anti-white racism. That's the sort of thing that

00:09:01.640 you really are not permitted to call out in either party. Certainly not until very, very recently you

00:09:09.360 were not allowed to call that out. She's calling out warmongers in both parties. Again, this is the

00:09:14.240 sort of thing that you're not really allowed to talk about. Right now, the Democrats are absolutely

00:09:19.300 belligerent over the war in Ukraine. They seem bloodthirsty for a more direct confrontation with

00:09:26.320 Russia. That's certainly been the effect of what the administration has done. That's what she's 0.81

00:09:29.160 calling out. She's totally right. And Republicans are kind of mixed on it. Republicans, certainly during

00:09:34.780 the Bush era and since then, they've kind of just gone along with the national security state.

00:09:39.840 Speaking of the national security state, she's calling out the government spying on us.

00:09:45.020 Neither party really calls that out. The Republicans cheered it on as, especially during the Bush era,

00:09:52.380 the national security state began to take more and more power to spy on civilians. The Republicans

00:09:58.780 were totally fine with that. And now the Democrats are the ones wielding that power. The Democrats are

00:10:03.060 the ones who wield the IC and all of those surveillance powers to spy on the Trump campaign, to undermine the

00:10:10.600 Republican nominee for president, to undermine his administration, to go after ordinary conservatives,

00:10:15.820 to attack not just Trump, you know, and to knock down the door of Mar-a-Lago practically,

00:10:22.720 because Donald Trump is the chief political rival to Joe Biden, but to go after parents who say we don't

00:10:28.740 want our kids to be taught weird stuff in schools, to go after ordinary conservatives who are now maligned

00:10:34.620 as insurrectionists and terrorists and far-right semi-fascists. So you can't really call it out

00:10:40.200 in either party. Tulsi Gabbard is actually just kind of opening her eyes up to the problem of the liberal 0.59

00:10:46.240 blob, the liberal establishment that is pushed by the left and that is largely tolerated by the right.

00:10:54.320 So I cheer her on. I have no but here. I suspect she and I disagree on certain issues that she did not

00:11:00.480 bring up in that video. But in that video, in her declaration of why she's leaving the Democrat

00:11:06.000 Party, she expresses a clearer view of political reality than every Democrat and than most Republicans.

00:11:14.480 Incredible stuff. I cheer her on. And frankly, I think what you're going to see, and you're already

00:11:19.780 beginning to see this, the Trump movement, I think, was fairly representative of this. You're going to

00:11:24.880 see a kind of third force in politics emerge that really sees far greater similarity between the

00:11:34.880 establishment Republicans and the Democrats than difference. They're going to say that the

00:11:39.620 Republican-Democrat game that we've seen certainly for the last 20, 30 years is really just kind of

00:11:45.740 two sides of the same coin. It's a kind of sock puppet battle where whichever party wins, the problems

00:11:51.920 that really matter to Americans are going to get worse. Whichever party wins, immigration is going 1.00

00:11:56.380 to become more and more of a problem. Whichever party wins, the hollowing out of American manufacturing

00:12:00.560 is going to get worse and worse. Whichever party wins, the foreign policy is just going to be the

00:12:05.020 same old swampy stuff that's been conducted since the end of the Cold War. And they're going to see,

00:12:09.280 this seems like kind of a rigged game and you're going to see more independent thinkers. Whether or not

00:12:13.320 that can coalesce into a cohesive political movement, that remains to be seen. But Tulsi Gabbard has taken a

00:12:18.380 huge step in that direction. And she looks good doing it. And if you want to look good,

00:12:22.980 you got to check out Mizzen and Main. Right now, head on over to MizzenandMain.com. Use promo code

00:12:28.320 Knowles. I am very particular about my shirts. I am for a couple of reasons. One, I have a very

00:12:36.260 particular sense of style. And two, I'm of Italian extraction. And so we tend to sweat a little bit.

00:12:42.100 Mizzen and Main has the answer to both. Mizzen and Main was born when their founder saw a sweat-drenched

00:12:47.760 DC staffer running into a meeting, wrinkled, stained, exhausted, disgusting. His shirt needed

00:12:54.960 a refresh. That is what drove Mizzen and Main to make the world's first performance fabric dress

00:12:59.720 shirt. Ten years later, they now make incredibly comfortable flannels, no-tuck shirts, performance

00:13:04.700 polos. Those are some of my absolute favorites that they make, by the way. Chinos, so much more,

00:13:09.280 all in that same performance fabric. The thing I love about these guys, they get what you need from a

00:13:13.180 very practical level. You know, the usefulness of the shirt to keep you from sweating everywhere is

00:13:18.660 really, really great. But the style, they understand style, understatement class. If you want the best

00:13:24.300 dress shirts money can buy, check out Mizzen and Main. Right now, if you want to go to MizzenandMain.com

00:13:29.540 and you use promo code Knowles, you will receive 35 bucks off any regular price order of 125 bucks or

00:13:43.620 People are leaving the Democrat Party. They're identifying less strongly with the Democrat Party

00:13:48.960 because the reality of Democrat policies is now undeniable because we see it when we go to the gas

00:13:53.400 tank and we see it when we go to the supermarket and we see it when we look at the first major war in

00:13:59.680 Europe since World War II. And we see it when we see these poor little kids getting transed. Okay, 1.00

00:14:04.300 you can't deny that anymore. And so as a result, the Republicans are just much more popular. There's

00:14:09.060 a survey just came out. This is from Morning Consult. It's the political intelligence poll.

00:14:14.200 It's just a ranking of the popularity of governors. And you can see here at the top, here are the top 10

00:14:19.860 most popular governors in the country. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine of them

00:14:29.000 are Republicans. Nine of the top 10 most popular governors in the country are Republicans heading

00:14:35.980 into the midterm elections, looking forward to 2024 and the presidential election. Really, really bad sign

00:14:43.920 for Democrats. So are Democrats guaranteed to get completely blown out? No. And why? Why not?

00:14:53.220 Because the Democrats still wield an insane amount of power. And the only way that they're going to

00:14:57.140 win is if they rig the game. I'm pretty confident to say that. I don't think that that is tinfoil hat

00:15:02.980 or anything. Barring some major change in world politics right now, if you look at all the numbers

00:15:07.220 today, Biden's approval ratings, the generic congressional ballot, you look at the specific races,

00:15:11.340 you look at the most popular politicians in the country, there is no way that the Democrats don't

00:15:16.580 get blown out of the water unless they cheat. And they can cheat in ways that are technically legal

00:15:21.440 too. So I'm not saying that it's going to be a cabal of shadowy alien reptiles who are working with

00:15:27.800 Hugo Chavez to change voting machines. It could be that, I guess. But I'm not saying it has to be that.

00:15:32.380 What they can do is similar strategies that they've tried, especially in 2020 and before that,

00:15:36.760 which is that they can push for widespread mail-in ballots. They can push poll watchers out of the

00:15:43.620 room where they can take a long time to count the votes so that there is less oversight on counting

00:15:47.940 the vote. They can encourage non-citizens to vote. They can extend election day to election season.

00:15:57.160 They can do all the stuff that they have ordinarily done. And we know that they are doing some of that

00:16:01.420 right now. So there's a story out of Colorado. Voting is generally controlled by the secretaries

00:16:07.940 of state, the state secretaries of state. The Colorado Democrats' secretary of state

00:16:12.020 accidentally sent 30,000 voter registration notices to non-citizens.

00:16:19.920 Oops. Whoopsie-daisy. Yes, that's right. 30,000 or so non-citizens living in Colorado

00:16:27.540 were mistakenly sent postcards late last month encouraging them to register to vote because

00:16:33.680 Jenna Griswold's office, the Democrat secretary of state, sent them out. They compared a list of

00:16:42.180 names of 102,000 people provided by the Electronic Registration Information Center to a database of

00:16:48.620 Colorado residents issued driver's licenses. And because of the difference in the lists,

00:16:52.580 the non-citizens, the non-citizens rather, got the notices. Maybe this was just a mistake.

00:17:01.820 I'm a little skeptical of that. A lot of mistakes, don't you think? It's amazing the election of

00:17:08.400 Democrats is the leading cause of mistakes and coincidences and whoopsie-daisies in the whole 0.93

00:17:12.540 country. I'm a little skeptical that it was a mistake, but let's say that it is. That's no excuse.

00:17:16.740 The fact of the matter is non-citizens are being encouraged by Democrats, by the state, 0.54

00:17:22.520 to go out and register to vote. We know that Democrats want non-citizens to vote. Democrats

00:17:27.000 in certain cities are trying to make non-citizens eligible to vote, places like New York, places

00:17:33.380 like San Francisco. We know that Democrats are trying to make it easier for people who should

00:17:39.340 not vote to vote. We know that they're doing this with convicts. We know that they're doing this with

00:17:42.720 people when they go get their driver's licenses. We know that the Democrats are flooding the country

00:17:47.020 with non-citizens to get an electoral advantage. They've written about this. They've bragged about 0.79

00:17:50.660 this. This is the strategy. You're not allowed to say it because you'll complain about it, but they

00:17:55.180 are allowed to say it because they're celebrating it and they're pushing that strategy. That's what

00:17:59.120 they're going to do. Why are they doing that? It's not because they support democracy, I'll tell you

00:18:03.180 that. If they supported democracy, then they would allow the people to run their own government,

00:18:07.960 but they know their policies are not popular, and so they've got to rig the game. These politicians,

00:18:12.720 these Democrats look really, really bad. There's a Louisiana Democrat who's running for Congress

00:18:17.000 who just released an ad focused largely on defending abortion. In the ad, there is a video of her

00:18:26.800 actually giving birth to her son. I'm Katie Darling, and I live on a farm in St. Tammany Parish.

00:18:35.420 Our family compost collects rainwater and grows our own food. My husband and daughter help take care of

00:18:41.560 the chickens. And there's someone else who's going to be joining us and helping to pitch in with farm

00:18:47.060 life very soon. But these days, I worry about storms that are stronger and more frequent because of

00:18:54.660 climate change. About our kids underperforming public schools. And about Louisiana's new abortion ban,

00:19:01.440 one of the strictest and most severe in the country. We should be putting pregnant women at ease, 1.00

00:19:08.980 not putting their lives at risk. I haven't spent my career in Washington. I've worked my way up from

00:19:16.080 bartender to CEO. Now, I help nurses organize our complicated health records. Because nurses aren't 1.00

00:19:24.120 just heroes. They're saints. Louisiana deserves better than the path we're on. I'm Katie Darling,

00:19:31.660 and I'm running for Congress because I want that better path. For you, for her, and for him.

00:19:41.020 That is the most psychotic ad. Forget even psychotic. It's the most psychopathic political 0.62

00:19:49.300 ad I have ever seen in my entire life. Excuse me. I wasn't getting choked up. I just hiccuped. 0.78

00:19:54.800 But I could be getting choked up. That is absolutely psycho. One, if you run for office at all, 0.84

00:20:04.720 you have at least a 15% chance of being a psychopath, just generally, in either party.

00:20:09.560 Then, if you invite a political film crew in to roll tape while you're giving birth, 0.97

00:20:17.480 you have a 99.7% chance of being a stone-cold psychopath. And then, if you can hold your 0.94

00:20:24.840 newborn baby boy and look into the camera and celebrate the right to dash his brains out,

00:20:34.160 that's actually not what happens in an abortion. If you would defend the right

00:20:37.280 to poison him and then dismember him, this little newborn baby that you are holding in your hands,

00:20:45.060 the legal right to rip that baby limb from limb, not five seconds before that ad could have been 1.00

00:20:52.180 filmed, you have a 100% chance of being a psychopath, which this woman obviously is. And it got me 1.00

00:20:59.520 thinking, why the hell would she ever air this? She looks nuts. She looks like a stone-cold killer. 1.00

00:21:08.000 And I suspect the thinking here was to try to split the baby on the issue. Because Louisiana is a 0.98

00:21:16.400 largely pro-life state. She's running as a Democrat. And so, she doesn't want to seem completely cold

00:21:21.660 and callous like the infanticidal maniac that she is. So, she says, okay, what I'm going to do is, 0.91

00:21:26.500 with my words, I'm going to defend abortion. And then, in my actions, I'm going to seem like a 0.55

00:21:31.700 loving mother. And so, I'm going to appeal to both people, the kind of traditional voters and also the

00:21:36.660 psychos who want to kill all the babies. And for me, at least, probably for you, the effect of that 0.97

00:21:42.140 is the opposite. She just looks like Lady Macbeth, out damn spot, you know, dashing her baby's brains 1.00

00:21:46.940 out. But I suspect that was a little bit of the thinking there. The other really telling thing here is, 0.99

00:21:55.320 everyone in the ad is seen. Every subject of the ad is seen. The husband gets a lot of FaceTime. The

00:22:04.540 little daughter gets a lot of FaceTime. The candidate, obviously, gets a lot of FaceTime.

00:22:09.900 The only person who we see a little bit of the person's back, but we never see the person's face,

00:22:15.860 is the newborn baby. Now, this, I think, ties right in with what we were talking about at the top.

00:22:23.740 It's very hard to support abortion if you see a little baby. And newborn babies are cute. Their

00:22:30.680 faces are all kind of smooshy and cute, you know. So, you would think in a political ad, if you're

00:22:36.040 stone-cold psycho enough to put your birth in a political ad, you want the cutest part of the

00:22:41.860 whole scene in the ad, right? The most appealing, attractive part. But she can't put the baby's face

00:22:46.840 in the ad. For the same reason that the libs can't show you the actual transgendered kids 0.99

00:22:53.780 who have had their bodies mutilated. For the same reason they can't show you the actual border towns

00:22:58.800 where all of those illegal aliens show up. For the same reason that they can't show you all of the

00:23:04.480 overdose victims of their drug policies. They can't show you the reality of the policies that they

00:23:12.020 are advocating.

00:23:52.420 The libs used to split the baby a little more artfully on the issue of abortion. This is how you 1.00

00:23:59.840 got the Clintons' incoherent but somewhat politically attractive scheme of safe, legal, and rare abortion, 0.69

00:24:07.500 which appealed to centrists, even though it doesn't make sense because if abortion is murder,

00:24:11.300 then it shouldn't be legal. And if abortion is morally neutral, then there's no reason for it

00:24:16.480 to be rare. But now the Democrats have taken the much more aggressive sort of sacramental view of

00:24:23.460 abortion on demand without apology up until the very moment of birth. And at least they're being 0.89

00:24:28.780 honest about their views. In some ways, I appreciate that more than them trying to pretend,

00:24:33.060 trying to have it both ways on the issue of abortion. But they're making claims on abortion

00:24:37.040 that just don't make any sense at all. One of which is now the Democrats frame all of their

00:24:42.380 political issues as essential to democracy, democracy with a capital D. And everything

00:24:48.800 the Republicans do, it's not just that it's bad. It's not just that it'll lead to a less

00:24:52.460 flourishing society. It's that it's a threat, an existential threat to our democracy.

00:24:58.240 And so now the Democrats are claiming, this is a panelist on MSNBC, claiming that

00:25:03.040 legal abortion is essential to democracy.

00:25:08.500 And the backdrop to that candidacy is women losing the right to an abortion for the first

00:25:14.780 time in 50 years.

00:25:15.860 Absolutely.

00:25:16.920 Yeah.

00:25:17.280 I mean, the rollback of women's rights here is very concerning and it is tied. And I think,

00:25:21.580 look, many of us understand how profound the rollback of abortion rights after Dobbs is for

00:25:26.840 women's autonomy and ability to thrive in this nation. What I think we talk less about or think

00:25:31.660 less about is what that does to undermine democracy, that ultimately women's full and 1.00

00:25:36.520 equal participation in society at every level, including bodily autonomy, is fundamental to

00:25:41.220 democracy functioning.

00:25:43.000 What does that woman think democracy means? 1.00

00:25:48.180 Democracy is government by the people. That's all democracy is. Democracy is when people vote and

00:25:56.740 the majority rules. That's democracy. In what world is abortion necessary for democracy?

00:26:07.040 What if most people vote to outlaw abortion? That would be an expression of democracy. 0.91

00:26:15.080 Most people are women, by the way. Women are the only majority that has ever somehow been presented

00:26:20.840 as a minority in public. It's kind of strange. But why? So you get, and you're seeing this now in a

00:26:30.500 lot of red states, not just a slim majority of people, but a strong majority of people through

00:26:37.360 their elected representatives banning abortion or severely restricting abortion. That would be an 0.97

00:26:42.620 expression of democracy just by definition, but not according to that woman. Why? Because when the 1.00

00:26:49.520 liberals use the word democracy, they don't really mean democracy. They don't like democracy. That's

00:26:52.820 why when the people elect Trump, they say this is an assault on democracy. Of course it's not.

00:26:56.620 It's an expression of democracy. When the people elect Georgia Maloney in Italy, it's an assault on 0.67

00:27:00.340 democracy, even though most people voted for it. When, or at least the plurality of people, and the most

00:27:04.800 people voted for the coalition. When the majority of Hungarians elect Viktor Orban, who's a

00:27:09.940 conservative, they say, oh, this is an assault on democracy. Because this woman is saying not that 0.98

00:27:16.660 abortion per se is a prerequisite for democracy. She's really saying liberalism writ large is 0.89

00:27:25.420 essential to democracy. Now that's not true. It's not. You can have, you can have a conservative

00:27:30.480 democracy. You can have a communist democracy. You can have a liberal democracy. You can have a fascist

00:27:35.840 democracy. You can have, democracy is just what the, what the majority of people want, right? That's all

00:27:42.140 that is. So they specifically mean a liberal democracy. A democracy where the people don't

00:27:51.720 really have a right to question the central tenets of liberalism, which include self-definition, 0.97

00:28:00.080 which include maximal autonomy, which include, in practice, killing babies and transing the kids 0.88

00:28:08.580 and destroying the family and tearing down beauty and ruining your society. That's what it means. 0.98

00:28:20.120 And they're saying that stuff's non-negotiable. In order to have the democracy as we envision it,

00:28:25.300 that stuff is completely non-negotiable. The liberalism is what it's all about. The liberalism

00:28:30.980 is not supported by the majority of people. Where that MSNBC lady and where the left thinks that

00:28:36.580 liberalism and democracy are synonymous, sane people realize they're actually at odds 0.99

00:28:41.320 because most people don't want all that crap. So they're at odds. And when they're at odds, 0.98

00:28:47.680 the left is pushing liberalism. Liberalism is a minority political movement pushed by a small

00:28:54.080 group of elite, yet very powerful people from the top down on the rest of us. And the rest of us

00:29:00.440 cut across all sorts of demographics, racial, religious, geographic, even partisan these days.

00:29:07.180 That's what you're seeing. When Tulsi Gabbard says, I'm leaving the Democrat party, it doesn't represent

00:29:10.120 me anymore. She's saying, I can't, I know the Democrats theoretically are in power, but they're

00:29:16.320 not representing me. They're not representing what most people want. Liberalism and democracy are at odds.

00:29:22.400 Whenever you hear people call America a liberal democracy, it's just completely bogus.

00:29:26.840 Even that term, I gave a speech on this not that long ago at the National Conservatism Conference.

00:29:31.820 That term, liberal democracy, is a very new term. It appears nowhere in the Constitution,

00:29:36.420 nowhere in the Declaration of Independence, nowhere in the Federalist Papers. Every time democracy is

00:29:43.580 not mentioned in the first of those documents at all, every time it's mentioned in the Federalist,

00:29:47.200 it's only done so negatively. Liberalism is not used to refer to a political philosophy in any of

00:29:51.520 those documents. The term pops up in the 1930s, and then it starts to gain a little bit of

00:29:56.240 traction in the 50s. It doesn't really explode until 1982. If you just look at a simple Google

00:30:01.160 Engram search of English literature, it doesn't really begin to take off until the 80s. So if

00:30:07.040 America's a liberal democracy, that would be news to everyone for the first 200 years of America's

00:30:12.200 existence. It's just bogus. It's just totally bogus. And you've got to pick a side. In this particular

00:30:19.660 battle between liberalism and democracy, which side are you on? Well, that's the battle right now

00:30:24.860 between not the left and the right, exactly. Not between the Democrats and the Republicans,

00:30:29.460 exactly. It's between what you would call the modern liberal establishment and the kind of

00:30:38.760 Trumpian MAGA populists. That's where that fight is, okay? And it's why you're seeing a kind of weird

00:30:48.360 shakeup of the political climate, where you've got even a Democrat presidential candidate like Tulsi

00:30:52.240 Gabbard. She's now clearly moving to the right. She's at the very least leaving the Democrat party.

00:30:56.180 You're seeing establishmentarian liberals like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger move over to the side of

00:31:02.980 the kind of Democrats. That's what the never Trump movement was. You're seeing this total shakeup

00:31:09.900 right now. It's why Joe Biden is excluding Trump supporters from his even scheme of politics. He's

00:31:14.640 saying, look, I have no problem with Republicans. I just have a problem with MAGA Republicans.

00:31:19.240 They're not mainstream. What are you talking about, dude? 90% plus, probably 93% of the Republican

00:31:26.460 party supports Donald Trump or has supported Donald Trump at some point. You're talking about a tiny

00:31:30.900 sliver. I'm being as generous as I can to the never Trump movement and saying it's six or 7% of the

00:31:35.860 Republican vote. And Joe Biden says, no, that's the legitimate mainstream Republican view. No,

00:31:40.700 it's not. Joe Biden is actually proving the point of the populists. Joe Biden is proving the point

00:31:44.460 of the independents and of Tulsi Gabbard, where he's saying, listen, I support Republicans as long

00:31:49.560 as they're part of the uniparty liberal establishment that only gives you the illusion of choice but

00:31:53.940 doesn't actually offer you any difference. Well, no, damn it. We don't want any kind of uniparty or 0.99

00:31:59.800 any sort of sock puppet game. We want a choice, not an echo, to use the words of Phyllis Schlafly

00:32:05.180 in the early days of the post-World War II conservative movement. That's what we want.

00:32:09.860 That's what Tulsi Gabbard wants. That's what Donald Trump wants. That's what the people called

00:32:15.440 the new right want. That's what the people who are disillusioned with this, this is what Republicans

00:32:20.340 other than the Liz Cheney's and the Adam Kinzinger's of the world want, okay? Which side are you on in

00:32:27.020 that battle? You can't just go back to the 1980s. There are some very nice, amiable Republicans who just

00:32:34.760 wish we could go take a time machine and go back to the 1980s. Wasn't that so great? I love Ronald

00:32:39.340 Reagan. Yeah, I like Reagan too. I don't like the caricature that some squishes have made of Ronald

00:32:45.820 Reagan. Ronald Reagan was a tough dude, okay? Ronald Reagan got the same kinds of attacks that

00:32:50.260 Donald Trump got. They called him a Nazi and a racist and outside the mainstream and fringe and

00:32:54.540 a cowboy and all that stuff, okay? And I think a lot of the people who extol the virtues of Reagan today,

00:32:59.380 they would have been Bushies back in the 80s. They would have been on the establishment side. 0.80

00:33:02.740 It's just my hunch, okay? But we're in a different age now. The battles that were going on 40 years

00:33:09.160 ago are not the battles that are going on today. And nostalgia is history after a few drinks. And we

00:33:14.200 are, I think, obligated to exercise some political courage and say, no, we're in the battles right

00:33:20.240 now. It's not enough to bury your head in the sand and go along with the kind of established view

00:33:26.980 that the Disney World version of politics. No. Because Disney is transing the kids too.

00:33:33.820 No. You've got to pick a side. Which side are you on? You know, back in June of 2020,

00:33:41.860 Candace Owens took to social media to question the narrative about George Floyd.

00:33:46.980 She took a barrage of insults as a result. Celebrities insulted her. GoFundMe deplatformed 1.00

00:33:51.780 her. As the attacks ramped up, Daily Wire Plus gave her a platform to speak out without fear of

00:33:57.180 being silenced and supported her investigation into Black Lives Matter. That organization raised

00:34:02.620 $80 million or more through fundraising. But no one ever asked where the money went.

00:34:08.440 Until now. Tonight, Candace Owens will reveal the truth in her new documentary,

00:34:12.680 The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, exclusively on Daily Wire Plus.

00:34:16.440 More than two years later, the story you never knew is more relevant than ever. And finally,

00:34:21.880 the truth is coming out. The longer the media stay silent, the louder we get, the more momentum

00:34:27.900 we gain. Your Daily Wire Plus membership goes a long way to ensuring folks like Candace Owens and 1.00

00:34:47.980 new documentary, The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, exclusively on Daily Wire Plus.

00:34:55.860 I found my favorite Washington Post article this week. Every week, I think they've reached the absolute

00:35:02.680 bottom of the barrel. I mean, the Washington Post is Pravda on the Potomac, the absolute archetypal

00:35:09.440 megaphone for the political establishment. They are nothing but a propaganda rag. They would fit

00:35:17.480 in great in North Korea or China or Russia or anywhere else. This is the headline in the Washington

00:35:25.000 Post. Spread of Catholic hospitals limits reproductive care across the United States.

00:35:33.620 Religious doctrine restricts access to abortion and birth control and limits treatment options for

00:35:41.480 miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. None of that is true. That's just a complete lie.

00:35:52.300 Think about the logic here. They're saying there are a lot of Catholic hospitals. That's true. The

00:35:57.160 Catholic Church is the most philanthropic organization in the history of the world. You might love the

00:36:02.020 Catholic Church. You might hate the Catholic Church. That's just an historic fact. The church has been

00:36:05.380 around a long time, got a lot of resources, and has done a lot of charitable activities. Schools,

00:36:11.140 hospitals, all the rest of it. So especially this is true of hospitals. There are Catholic hospitals 0.79

00:36:15.840 all over the place. The Catholic Church builds hospitals. The church considers that part of her mission

00:36:21.920 in the world. How does building more hospitals restrict any kind of quote-unquote care?

00:36:33.680 Let's say, I'm just making up numbers here. Let's say you've got five lib hospitals. And the lib 0.84

00:36:39.860 hospitals trans the kids, and they kill the babies, and they do all the stuff that the libs like to do. 1.00

00:36:43.860 And then the Catholic Church comes in, and it doesn't knock down the lib hospitals, even though

00:36:49.520 it probably should. It doesn't go to the representatives and say, you've got to get rid of

00:36:53.840 all these lib hospitals, even though it probably should. The Catholic Church just builds more

00:36:58.440 hospitals. So you've got five lib hospitals, and then you've got, let's say, 15 Catholic hospitals.

00:37:03.480 And the Catholic hospitals won't trans the kids and won't kill the babies. 0.87

00:37:10.940 In what world is that limiting access, even to the fake care that the libs are, even to transing 0.96

00:37:17.920 the kids and killing the babies? It's not doing that at all. It's just offering something different.

00:37:27.580 But no good deed goes unpunished, especially in this liberal establishment.

00:37:31.860 The libs can't take that. If the Catholic Church were going in and shutting down liberal 0.98

00:37:36.920 hospitals, I would cheer that on. I would be there on the sidelines doing jumping jacks,

00:37:42.500 waving pom-poms, and praying the rosary. I would absolutely love that. But that's not what's going

00:37:46.040 on. That's not what the libs even have the problem with. The libs have the problem with the Catholics 0.99

00:37:50.120 just being Catholic. The libs have the problem with the Catholics building hospitals to do wonderful 1.00

00:37:55.320 work to offer all kinds of services if they won't also kill babies and trans the kids. That is how 1.00

00:38:00.900 coercive the left is. That is how insistent and totalitarian the left is. The left is insisting

00:38:07.120 on a total state, not just where they get to commit all their crimes against humanity and against poor

00:38:14.080 little kids. Not even just a state where they have special privileges because the state is liberal.

00:38:19.960 They are pushing for a state where Catholics don't get to be Catholic, where Catholics don't get to have 0.97

00:38:25.080 hospitals, where it would be better to not have hospitals at all than to have hospitals that don't 0.98

00:38:29.520 trans the kids and kill the babies. That is what we're talking about. Do you think that that would 1.00

00:38:35.840 be the majority view of the people? Do you think the majority of the people think, as the liberals do,

00:38:41.540 as the Washington Post does, that if a hospital won't kill the babies and trans the kids, that it

00:38:45.920 shouldn't be built or that it should be shut down? Of course not. The majority of people, when you

00:38:52.160 really get down to the pro-life question and you get into the nitty gritty on if abortion is to be

00:38:58.760 tolerated, at what point abortion should be tolerated, the country is overwhelmingly pro-life

00:39:03.340 in the vast majority of cases. That's not what the people want. It's what the liberal ruling class 0.90

00:39:10.180 wants. The battle here is between the democracy and the liberalism. The liberalism right now is ruling

00:39:17.200 and the liberalism right now is winning. Even though the people are being convinced more and

00:39:20.940 more and more that liberalism is bad, it doesn't matter. The liberals still have so much of the

00:39:24.540 power. Speaking of church, there is some kind of fake church somewhere. And actually, there are a lot

00:39:33.320 of fake churches that have been doing this. You've seen a lot of clips of this. I've even heard stories

00:39:37.440 of this anecdotally from people I know who know of these churches or who even attend these churches

00:39:42.900 that will invite drag queens in to preach a kind of transvestite pseudo-gospel, specifically to kids. 1.00

00:39:52.700 This is one that's just been going viral over the last few days.

00:39:56.140 Do you have any questions for Ms. Pentecost?

00:39:58.320 I like your eye shadow.

00:39:59.680 Oh, thank you.

00:40:01.660 Yeah. You like her eye shadow. That's great. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe she'll let you borrow it.

00:40:06.080 When you're older, when you're allowed to wear makeup.

00:40:07.700 Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Well, one of the things I think is great about Ms. Pentecost is she reminds

00:40:14.920 us that we follow a God who calls us to not conform to things of this world, that we're

00:40:21.960 supposed to be transformed by the renewal of our minds. And that means that what I think

00:40:26.680 today may have to change tomorrow if I continue to renew my mind. And it's so cool that we serve

00:40:32.400 a God that calls us to continue to grow and continue to change into something new.

00:40:37.700 This is horrifying for many, many reasons. But I will tell you, just as a sort of, not

00:40:46.120 a defense, but just in all fairness to that drag queen who calls himself Ms. Pentecost, 1.00

00:40:54.140 so just this sacrilegious mockery at the Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descends and makes so many

00:41:00.500 thousands of disciples. I am much less offended by the guy who puts on a dress and pretends to be a

00:41:08.380 woman than I am by the other guy next to him who dresses up and pretends to be a priest.

00:41:16.340 The man is obviously not a valid priest. I don't know which heretical, schismatic sect of Christianity

00:41:23.640 this is. I read somewhere it was some version of Methodism, but whatever, who knows? It's some

00:41:29.740 obviously gone completely insane, heretical, blasphemous, schismatic sect of Christianity 0.99

00:41:38.080 that's preaching an anti-gospel just completely the opposite of Christianity. But worth pointing out 0.55

00:41:46.460 too, Christ speaks very specifically in the gospel about what that priest is doing and what that

00:41:54.360 transvestite is doing too, but more so the priest. And it's a verse of the gospel that is frequently

00:41:59.720 invoked in the transing the kids debate or especially in the abortion debate where he says,

00:42:06.020 you know, the people who lead the littlest ones astray, it would be better for them to have

00:42:14.260 millstones tied around their necks. That is basically the effect of what will happen if you

00:42:19.240 lead the little ones astray who offends the least of these people. And the verse is often

00:42:26.580 misinterpreted to mean people who just, you know, go out and smack a kid or abuse a child or, 0.56

00:42:33.000 you know, kill a baby in the womb or something like that. But it's, the verse is not really speaking

00:42:38.980 about, you know, beating a child. The verse is speaking about the sin of scandal, leading someone

00:42:44.940 astray, causing someone to stumble. That's what the priest is doing. And it's a, it's an absolutely

00:42:53.420 horrifying scene, obviously, and no one should attend that ridiculous church and the priest should 0.88

00:42:59.460 get another job and beg forgiveness from God. But it shows you what leftism does. It ties in, 0.96

00:43:07.520 forgetting the religious question, we're putting it aside for a second. It shows you what leftism does.

00:43:11.780 Leftism goes into every institution and cuts it open, like the opening scene of the empire strikes

00:43:17.840 back and pulls out the guts of that thing and then crawls inside and starts to animate it like

00:43:23.080 Night of the Living Dead. That's what it does. And it does it with priestly attire. It does it with

00:43:28.420 the churches. It does it with the universities. It does it with our systems of government. And it

00:43:33.360 creates a kind of a show, a deceit, a sock puppet theater of our public institutions, of our politics.

00:43:42.540 And when I say politics, I don't just mean Schoolhouse Rock, you know, Capitol Hill and everything.

00:43:46.140 I'm talking about all of the power centers that we have, the businesses, the universities,

00:43:52.000 the classrooms, all of it. It goes in and it makes a kind of show of everything. And it often

00:43:57.500 pretends that there's even political opposition, but there's not. There is just ultimately the kind

00:44:02.900 of uniparty. And it's leading people to be deeply distrustful of the established institutions. This is

00:44:08.320 what is leading Tulsi Gabbard to fall away from the Democrat party. It's what's leading a lot of

00:44:15.300 Trump supporters to say, look, I like Trump. I want to make America great again. I'm conservative.

00:44:19.360 I'm right wing. But I'm not some establishment Republican. I disagree with the Republican

00:44:23.780 establishment on many, if not most issues. Okay, I guess I'm just something different. I'm just a

00:44:28.480 crazy guy who doesn't want to kill the babies, doesn't want to trans the kids, wants to wave the 0.98

00:44:35.040 American flag, wants to have actual borders, doesn't want to engage in adventurism overseas and lead to 0.99

00:44:42.100 nuclear Armageddon. I call me crazy. That's just what I, that's just me. And a lot of people are

00:44:49.840 there. I bet a plurality of the people are pretty much somewhere right around there, if not an outright

00:44:55.040 majority of the people. And increasingly, as the liberal establishment doubles down, right, whenever

00:45:01.260 people question the liberal establishment's power, what do they do? They start putting up big fences

00:45:06.220 and barricades and barbed wire in Washington, D.C. What does the liberal establishment do? They start

00:45:10.480 censoring you. They kick you off social media. They de-platform you. They take your money out of

00:45:14.580 PayPal. They freeze your accounts. They arrest you. They investigate you in some cases. I mean,

00:45:18.560 they're really getting much more aggressive. They call parents domestic terrorists for questioning what

00:45:24.360 their kids are learning in schools. They call half the country semi-fascist. They're really,

00:45:28.300 really tightening their grip right now on power. And so you're, you're going to see this debate

00:45:32.780 as we move into 20, the end of 2022, 2023, 2024. The battle is not going to be Republican versus

00:45:39.840 Democrat necessarily, even really left versus right exactly. You're going to see a battle in this

00:45:46.700 cracking up of what has been understood to be the American system in recent years, which is liberal

00:45:50.720 democracy. It's going to be that crack up there and it's going to be a debattle between the liberalism

00:45:54.760 and the democracy. Pick a side. The rest of the show is continuing now in the members' block. It

00:46:00.040 is Woke Wednesday. And so my producer, Ben Davies, has teed up a new challenge for me. It is from the

00:46:06.500 channel Love, Don't Judge. And the challenge is to see how long I can just totally, simply,

00:46:14.300 merely love without any kind of judgments whatsoever creeping into my head. I'm not sure how long I'm going

00:46:20.400 to make it. If you are not a member, click the link in the description and join us. We will see you on

00:46:24.940 the member block.
