00:00:35.700 Good Ranchers, American meat delivered.
00:00:37.680 You've likely heard by now that the World Economic Forum wants to make you eat bugs, live in a pod, and own nothing.
00:00:44.560 And all of that is true.
00:00:45.860 But the WEF is taking some more immediate and concrete steps to upend your life.
00:00:52.300 One such power play is something called safety by design.
00:00:56.980 Which is probably the biggest big tech threat that you have never heard of.
00:01:02.220 Safety by design is the hobby horse of a woman named Julie Inman Grant.
00:01:07.360 She's just a bureaucrat.
00:01:08.860 She's the Australian e-safety commissioner who went viral last year in Davos at the World Economic Forum
00:01:15.620 when she proposed a recalibration of free speech.
00:01:19.640 We are finding ourselves in a place where we have increasing polarization everywhere.
00:01:27.280 And everything feels binary when it doesn't need to be.
00:01:30.300 So I think we're going to have to think about a recalibration of a whole range of human rights that are playing out online.
00:01:35.980 You know, from freedom of speech to the freedom to be free from online violence.
00:01:41.820 Since then, Grant has taken significant steps in collaboration with the WEF to make their recalibration a reality.
00:01:54.940 Safety by design is the notion that government regulators can't possibly keep up with all the bad things confronting people online.
00:02:02.620 Not just real problems like criminal threats and fraud and child pornography and things like that.
00:02:09.400 But a much broader array of topics and opinions that leftists deem harmful.
00:02:14.440 So the safety by design solution is to take the burden of suppressing those things off of the regulators,
00:02:21.700 out of the government agencies,
00:02:23.020 and just build liberals' regulatory preferences into the design code of the tech platforms themselves.
00:02:31.240 Here's how it works.
00:02:33.780 Safety by design, to me, is key.
00:02:36.620 This is putting the responsibility back.
00:02:38.900 It's having companies from the leadership, from the top down, prioritize safety, build it in at the front end.
00:02:47.460 And, you know, now we have the basic online safety expectations, which basically lay out the duty of care
00:02:57.020 and what we respect the interactive services to be doing as a right to or a license to operate in our country.
00:03:05.260 So in order to operate in Australia, they've got to build the liberal regulatory preferences into the code of the platforms.
00:03:14.400 Otherwise, the platforms don't get to operate in Australia.
00:03:17.800 But safety by design is not merely being implemented in Australia.
00:03:22.580 Because Grant serves on a bunch of boards for the WEF.
00:03:27.000 And her plan, in perfect alignment with the broader globalist goals of Davos,
00:03:31.760 is to export this scheme all around the world to control speech in all sorts of categories.
00:03:38.300 Not just the threats and the fraud and the porn and media, entertainment, even sports.
00:03:43.480 Through safety by design, Grant and the WEF intend and have been open about their intent
00:03:50.400 to push diversity, equity, and inclusion to suppress what they call misinformation and hate speech.
00:03:58.720 All of which is gobbledygook talk for censoring conservatives and promoting liberals.
00:04:04.460 And if they can convince just a handful of countries to implement these sorts of policies,
00:04:08.960 that could tip the scales to force big tech's hand to implement it for everyone.
00:04:16.000 It's not that you need to convince every country in the world to adopt this stuff.
00:04:19.440 If you convince a few of them, frankly, even if you just convince one of them,
00:04:23.360 that is going to send a signal to big tech to say,
00:04:26.660 OK, look, we're not going to build completely separate platforms for Australia and, let's say, Canada and the U.S. and France.
00:04:32.740 And then separate platforms for all the rest of the countries.
00:04:36.200 So, OK, we'll do what Australia wants us to do.
00:04:38.960 And then safety by design governs the speech for everybody.
00:04:42.920 People are posting all sorts of conspiracy theories to social media
00:04:47.060 as the WEF's annual meeting goes on in Davos, Switzerland right now.
00:04:52.200 But if the globalists get their way, we won't see those conspiracy facts online for much longer.
00:04:59.520 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:05:08.960 Welcome back to the show.
00:05:10.560 My favorite comment yesterday is from Lucky Jacks, who says,
00:05:14.160 if we could harness even the fumes from these windbags at the WEF,
00:05:19.280 we could power the entire world for a year for free, at least a year.
00:05:23.300 I think, actually, you're not being nearly optimistic enough.
00:05:25.980 I think we could probably power the world for a decade, OK?
00:05:30.560 And we could avoid the death of our culture, the death that the globalists tell us is coming to all of humanity
00:05:37.660 if we don't give them all of our rights and our political power and our cars and our stoves and all the rest of it, OK?
00:05:45.440 I don't think the world is going to end in five minutes as these people scare us into thinking.
00:05:51.740 But I do think that you will die, and you will die sooner than you think.
00:05:54.580 And that's why you need to check out Epic Will.

00:06:30.620 For a long time, I did not have a will, and I was very irresponsible.
00:06:35.360 Because then what would happen to my stuff?
00:06:36.900 What would happen to my family?
00:06:37.700 What would happen to my kids?
00:06:38.440 50% of Americans don't have a will.

00:06:57.220 All sorts of conspiracy theories.
00:06:59.400 Here's a conspiracy theory.
00:07:01.880 This comes from AP News.
00:07:03.520 AP News says,
00:07:06.440 says the World Economic Forum, which opens Monday,
00:07:10.180 is slated to take on pressing global issues.
00:07:12.620 But online, it has become a target of bizarre claims
00:07:16.680 from a growing chorus who believe it involves a group of elites
00:07:20.440 manipulating events for their own benefit.
00:07:23.800 We'll put a pause right there.
00:07:24.940 Yes, there are right-wingers who say that about the World Economic Forum.
00:07:32.200 That is what the World Economic Forum says about itself.
00:07:35.260 That is the entire raison d'etre of the World Economic Forum,
00:07:39.860 is to gather global elites to change the world,
00:07:44.540 to become masters of the future.
00:07:46.660 That's what Klaus Schwab says,
00:07:47.720 the founder and king of the World Economic Forum.
00:07:50.840 It's a conspiracy fact.
00:07:54.360 It is a theory about a conspiracy,
00:07:56.340 but the conspiracy is real.
00:07:57.960 And so the libs are very upset about this.
00:08:00.340 They say, this isn't a conspiracy that's playing out on the extreme fringes.
00:08:04.260 That's according to Alex Friedfeld,
00:08:06.020 a researcher with the Anti-Defamation League,
00:08:09.180 who studies anti-government extremism.
00:08:10.900 We'll put a pause right there.
00:08:12.140 The Anti-Defamation League,
00:08:13.200 isn't that the group that talks about anti-Semitism
00:08:16.280 and accuses people that they don't like of anti-Semitism?
00:08:20.680 Why are they now talking about Davos?
00:08:23.920 Why are they now talking about the World Economic Forum?
00:08:25.800 Why are they upset when people point out
00:08:27.300 that we don't want to eat the bugs and live in the pods
00:08:28.940 and have all our property taken away by Klaus Schwab,
00:08:31.580 who is not a Jew.
00:08:32.260 He's a German.
00:08:35.120 He says, this is very, very bad.
00:08:37.340 We're seeing this on mainstream social media platforms
00:08:41.560 being shared by regular Americans.
00:08:43.240 We were seeing it being spread by mainstream media figures
00:08:46.920 right on their prime time news,
00:08:48.880 on their nightly networks.
00:08:50.200 Oh no.
00:08:51.800 It's a crazy conspiracy theory.
00:08:54.380 I mentioned on the show yesterday,
00:08:55.920 if you say that Davos is where the elites get together
00:08:58.420 to completely transform society and change the future,
00:09:01.860 and that's a good thing,
00:09:03.980 then you're a good, wonderful person.
00:09:05.880 You're insightful.
00:09:06.480 You keep up with the news.
00:09:07.400 If you say the exact same thing,
00:09:09.400 but you conclude it with,
00:09:12.000 and that's a bad thing,
00:09:13.240 then you're a crazy, fringe, wild conspiracy theorist.
00:09:15.540 Alex Jones, you got the tinfoil hats on.
00:09:18.380 You probably worry about chemtrails and gay frogs.
00:09:21.320 It's what Michael Anton at the Claremont Institute
00:09:23.700 calls the celebration parallax.
00:09:26.520 The libs are allowed to tell you their plans
00:09:28.740 and celebrate it,
00:09:30.920 but you can't repeat to them
00:09:32.480 the very things that they just told you
00:09:34.240 if you were going to criticize it.
00:09:36.620 That's one tactic.
00:09:37.660 One tactic that the libs have been using
00:09:39.720 to downplay what's going on in Davos
00:09:42.060 is to say,
00:09:43.660 well, this is just a crazy conspiracy theory.
00:09:45.780 Then the other tactic that they've used,
00:09:48.000 and it's really only started this year,
00:09:50.040 is they say,
00:09:50.760 oh, that stuff that's going on in Davos,
00:09:52.360 it's not a big deal.
00:09:53.860 I saw a headline.
00:09:55.140 I think it was in CNN.
00:09:56.460 It said,
00:09:56.580 the real story of what's going on in Davos
00:09:58.420 is the World Economic Forum.
00:10:00.040 It's actually losing its influence.
00:10:02.220 Yeah, people don't,
00:10:03.480 they don't care about that anymore.
00:10:05.120 It's not,
00:10:06.300 it's not a big,
00:10:06.940 you guys are worried about
00:10:07.800 some crazy conspiracy theory.
00:10:09.020 Now, the real stories,
00:10:10.360 they have way less power than they ever did.
00:10:13.840 I don't know.
00:10:15.880 2,700 big wig attendees from 130 countries,
00:10:19.200 116 billionaires,
00:10:20.420 and 52 heads of state,
00:10:22.040 and they don't have any power.
00:10:24.740 I don't know.
00:10:26.660 The mainstream media,
00:10:27.800 the establishment press,
00:10:28.960 seem real eager these days
00:10:31.040 to play down the influence of Davos.
00:10:34.120 But you just heard one example,
00:10:36.100 just one,
00:10:37.060 and this is one little tiny example
00:10:38.960 of how the WEF operates.
00:10:42.260 It brings together influential people
00:10:44.420 who all have the same liberal,
00:10:46.500 left-wing, progressive agenda,
00:10:48.840 and they all trade influence,
00:10:50.160 and they all work on each other's power,
00:10:52.220 and it's people in the private sector
00:10:54.180 and in the government sector.
00:10:55.820 The point of Davos
00:10:56.660 is to bring those two sectors together
00:10:58.200 because if you bring those two sectors together,
00:11:01.640 then sometimes the private sector
00:11:03.080 can do the dirty work of the government,
00:11:04.960 and people have no recourse
00:11:06.120 against the private sector.
00:11:07.120 This is what happens
00:11:07.740 when the government uses
00:11:09.460 allegedly private corporations
00:11:11.260 like Facebook, Twitter, and Google
00:11:12.600 to censor Americans.
00:11:14.760 Well, it can't be a First Amendment violation
00:11:16.220 if the FBI just had a secret meeting
00:11:18.420 with some Facebook exec
00:11:19.860 and said, hey, censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.
00:11:23.660 I mean, I think it is a First Amendment violation,
00:11:26.100 but they have plausible deniability.
00:11:27.460 They say, no, it's a private company.
00:11:28.920 Private company has no First Amendment responsibility
00:11:31.760 to protect your speech,
00:11:33.020 but really it's the government
00:11:34.620 that was pressuring the social media companies.
00:11:37.760 Or you will see corporate influence
00:11:40.100 onto the government,
00:11:41.800 pushing massive deregulation,
00:11:43.960 not for the small business owners,
00:11:45.240 not for the mom and pops,
00:11:46.200 for all the people
00:11:47.780 who are in the rooms at Davos.
00:11:51.300 You see it play out in real time.
00:11:54.000 Some random Australian bureaucrat
00:11:56.280 through the power that she wields
00:12:01.160 among liberal globalist networks
00:12:02.960 is currently in the process
00:12:05.360 of changing the way
00:12:06.760 that the internet operates
00:12:08.860 on potentially the biggest platforms
00:12:10.600 on the internet
00:12:11.140 to decide what things you're allowed to say,
00:12:13.620 to ban hate speech.
00:12:14.660 Are you going to be allowed to say
00:12:15.960 in five years,
00:12:17.340 are you going to be allowed to say
00:12:18.120 on the internet
00:12:18.660 that a boy is a boy
00:12:19.480 and a girl is a girl?
00:12:20.640 You're barely allowed to say it now.
00:12:23.420 But no, they have no influence.
00:12:25.640 Pay no attention
00:12:26.980 to the man behind the curtain.
00:12:29.620 We have got to pay attention
00:12:31.180 to what the Davos types,
00:12:32.640 to what the globalists are saying,
00:12:34.680 what they're predicting about the future,
00:12:36.520 because they have an outsized amount
00:12:38.640 of influence
00:12:39.200 to make those predictions come true.
00:12:42.120 One prediction comes from
00:12:43.560 the head of the World Health Organization.
00:12:47.480 Warning of the next epidemic.
00:12:50.620 Mark it down.
00:12:51.400 Here it is.
00:12:51.980 Breaking news.
00:12:52.720 New epidemic dropped.
00:12:54.480 Get ready for more social distancing
00:12:56.060 and masks and losing your job
00:12:57.640 and giving up your money,
00:12:58.880 giving up your rights.
00:13:00.420 Which epidemic is it this time?
00:13:01.820 It is, drum roll please,
00:13:05.260 tuberculosis.
00:13:05.880 One of the most practical,
00:13:08.920 sort of economically effective
00:13:10.660 and human life-saving,
00:13:13.720 effective ways
00:13:14.280 of making the world
00:13:15.200 more prepared for future pandemics
00:13:17.500 would actually be
00:13:18.480 to turbocharge
00:13:19.340 the fight against TB.
00:13:20.940 This is the disease of the poor,
00:13:22.520 as Peter said.
00:13:24.240 It's not the problem
00:13:27.440 of the high-income countries.
00:13:29.220 When do we stop this behavior?
00:13:31.580 It's only when
00:13:32.660 the rich countries
00:13:34.240 affected that
00:13:35.420 then becomes
00:13:36.380 a serious issue.
00:13:37.520 It's a matter of time,
00:13:38.960 but sooner or later,
00:13:40.200 of course,
00:13:40.660 those countries
00:13:41.120 who think that
00:13:42.020 it will not come to them
00:13:43.460 as a problem
00:13:44.140 may come.
00:13:44.980 Even imagine
00:13:46.900 the extreme disease
00:13:48.400 resistance TB.
00:13:53.620 It's already coming.
00:13:56.860 Sooner or later,
00:13:57.960 it may come.
00:14:00.460 Now,
00:14:01.160 had we not just lived through
00:14:02.360 the three years
00:14:03.060 that we just lived through,
00:14:04.280 had the WHO
00:14:05.280 not been caught
00:14:06.360 with its hand
00:14:06.960 in the cookie jar,
00:14:08.000 caught red-handed,
00:14:09.020 caught mixing metaphors
00:14:10.100 like I'm doing right now,
00:14:12.160 in a state
00:14:13.240 of utter corruption
00:14:14.180 when it came to
00:14:14.880 COVID.
00:14:15.740 First,
00:14:16.260 helping China
00:14:17.000 cover it up,
00:14:17.980 cover up the
00:14:18.840 outbreak of the virus,
00:14:21.000 then helping China
00:14:22.160 cover up
00:14:22.740 where the virus came from,
00:14:24.240 going along with
00:14:25.000 the BS ridiculous story
00:14:26.480 that it came from
00:14:27.100 a bad batch
00:14:28.180 of bat soup
00:14:28.900 at the Wuhan wet market,
00:14:30.320 when in fact,
00:14:30.900 it almost certainly
00:14:31.440 came from the
00:14:31.960 Wuhan Institute of Virology.
00:14:34.040 In fact,
00:14:34.800 with research
00:14:35.940 the likes of which
00:14:37.160 the United States
00:14:37.760 was funding
00:14:38.220 right there
00:14:38.940 at the Wuhan Institute.
00:14:40.240 If the WHO
00:14:41.380 had any credibility
00:14:42.480 at all,
00:14:43.160 and if the
00:14:43.740 World Economic Forum
00:14:44.560 were not so
00:14:45.440 cartoonishly villainous
00:14:47.080 in its designs
00:14:48.500 and in its overall
00:14:49.840 demeanor,
00:14:50.520 then you might
00:14:51.080 listen to that
00:14:51.700 and say,
00:14:52.020 oh wow,
00:14:52.560 that's scary,
00:14:53.240 I guess we better prepare,
00:14:54.060 I sure don't want
00:14:54.580 to get tuberculosis.
00:14:56.760 But,
00:14:57.160 knowing what we know
00:14:59.040 about the WHO
00:14:59.900 and Mr. Tedros,
00:15:01.180 it sounds less like
00:15:02.100 a prediction
00:15:02.520 and more like a threat.
00:15:04.140 Sounds less like
00:15:05.020 a prediction
00:15:05.380 and more like a promise.
00:15:06.860 Sooner or later,
00:15:07.780 it may come.
00:15:12.980 And now,
00:15:13.880 you've got the
00:15:14.520 terrible,
00:15:15.300 awful conspiracy theorists
00:15:16.480 you know,
00:15:17.460 never believe the
00:15:18.140 conspiracy theorists
00:15:18.920 about anything.
00:15:19.660 Now they're posting
00:15:20.280 all over social media
00:15:21.300 because they point out
00:15:23.260 that BioNTech
00:15:25.580 has announced
00:15:26.100 clinical trials
00:15:27.340 of an mRNA vaccine
00:15:29.020 for tuberculoposis,
00:15:30.660 apparently developed
00:15:31.420 with the Bill
00:15:32.260 and Melinda Gates Foundation
00:15:33.380 that will begin,
00:15:35.280 or I suppose
00:15:35.740 at this point
00:15:36.240 that did begin in 2022.
00:15:38.900 I don't know anything
00:15:39.640 about this potential
00:15:40.620 mRNA vaccine.
00:15:41.520 I do know that
00:15:42.240 scientists are now
00:15:43.260 working overtime
00:15:43.980 to apply the mRNA
00:15:45.060 vaccine technology
00:15:46.580 which has had so many problems
00:15:47.760 to all sorts of other viruses.
00:15:50.460 So,
00:15:50.820 don't know anything about this.
00:15:52.480 May or may not be the case
00:15:53.480 that they've got this vaccine.
00:15:55.020 But the reason,
00:15:55.880 I don't even mention it
00:15:56.840 to say anything
00:15:57.340 about some potential
00:15:58.280 mRNA treatment for TB.
00:15:59.780 The reason I mention it
00:16:01.060 is because
00:16:01.840 it is the behavior
00:16:05.180 of these people,
00:16:07.180 of the people in Davos,
00:16:09.780 that explains
00:16:11.660 why people have
00:16:12.880 all sorts of
00:16:13.460 terrible,
00:16:14.020 crazy conspiracies
00:16:14.740 about them.
00:16:16.100 Because the conspiracy theories
00:16:17.820 have often proven true.
00:16:20.540 And because
00:16:20.900 the World Economic Forum
00:16:22.000 is a conspiracy
00:16:23.600 by definition.
00:16:24.900 That is the whole point of it.
00:16:26.420 Is you get a bunch
00:16:27.280 of people together
00:16:28.020 who are very powerful
00:16:29.040 and you have them
00:16:30.540 all work together
00:16:31.440 to decide the fate
00:16:32.460 of the world
00:16:32.980 whether you want it
00:16:33.720 or not.
00:16:35.220 It's a conspiracy
00:16:36.060 out in the open.
00:16:37.580 It's a conspiracy
00:16:38.400 that is airing on TV.
00:16:41.140 The revolution
00:16:42.080 will in fact
00:16:42.980 be televised
00:16:43.920 and a lot of people
00:16:44.660 won't do anything
00:16:45.680 about it.
00:16:46.460 My question for Tedros,
00:16:47.940 my question
00:16:48.460 for the people
00:16:49.220 predicting
00:16:49.820 the next epidemic
00:16:52.000 is
00:16:53.040 are you going
00:16:54.800 to stop it
00:16:55.400 before it happens?
00:16:56.600 Not are you going
00:16:57.600 to lock us all down
00:16:58.420 and take away
00:16:58.860 our businesses
00:16:59.320 and shut down
00:16:59.860 our churches
00:17:00.300 and upend our societies
00:17:01.860 after it happens
00:17:02.980 but are you going
00:17:03.840 to stop it
00:17:04.360 before it happens?
00:17:05.420 My question
00:17:05.940 for the globalists
00:17:06.880 in Davos is
00:17:07.620 are you people
00:17:08.600 really the masters
00:17:09.420 of the universe
00:17:10.060 or not?
00:17:11.680 Because you present
00:17:12.660 yourselves as the masters
00:17:13.680 of the universe
00:17:14.320 who through your own
00:17:15.620 unfettered reason
00:17:16.660 your brilliance
00:17:18.000 the likes of which
00:17:18.740 we've never seen
00:17:19.340 in all of history
00:17:20.060 Aristotle, Plato,
00:17:21.840 Thomas Aquinas
00:17:22.480 those guys
00:17:22.860 are all dummies
00:17:23.480 compared to you.
00:17:24.460 You all figured it out.
00:17:26.100 You've mastered the future.
00:17:27.200 You're going to conquer death.
00:17:28.480 You're going to go in
00:17:29.840 you're going to edit
00:17:30.460 our genes.
00:17:31.460 You're going to
00:17:32.000 recreate humanity
00:17:33.220 not just culture
00:17:34.140 but our very biology.
00:17:35.720 Okay, if you want me
00:17:36.960 to trust you
00:17:37.600 to do that
00:17:38.300 then you better be able
00:17:39.380 to live up
00:17:40.120 to those promises
00:17:41.440 that you
00:17:42.080 that you shall be
00:17:43.420 as gods.
00:17:44.420 So, can you stop
00:17:45.580 a virus outbreak?
00:17:47.420 I see no evidence
00:17:48.640 of that.
00:17:49.680 In fact,
00:17:50.380 from the behavior
00:17:51.260 of these sorts
00:17:52.080 of globalists
00:17:52.860 I see them
00:17:53.700 exacerbating
00:17:54.720 a lot more problems
00:17:55.680 than they're fixing.
00:17:56.700 I see them funding
00:17:57.500 gain of function research
00:17:58.580 at the Wuhan Institute
00:17:59.900 of Virology
00:18:00.740 on bat coronaviruses
00:18:02.200 that almost certainly
00:18:03.280 caused the outbreak
00:18:04.160 of that pandemic
00:18:05.320 that they exploited
00:18:06.440 to shut us down
00:18:07.180 for three years
00:18:07.840 which they then called
00:18:08.880 a rare but narrow
00:18:09.960 opportunity
00:18:10.540 for a great reset
00:18:11.520 of our whole society.
00:18:12.800 What a wonderful turn
00:18:13.620 that could be.
00:18:14.500 And then they applied
00:18:15.180 their genius
00:18:15.740 to create these vaccines
00:18:17.120 in a mad rush
00:18:18.760 that they told us
00:18:19.760 were totally safe
00:18:20.500 and effective
00:18:20.960 and now people
00:18:22.240 are dropping dead
00:18:22.840 of strokes
00:18:23.320 blood clots
00:18:24.240 heart problems
00:18:25.240 people are getting
00:18:26.820 nerve damage
00:18:27.540 all the rest of it.
00:18:29.340 Are you the masters
00:18:29.980 of the universe
00:18:30.420 or not?
00:18:31.340 If you're not
00:18:31.980 that's fine.
00:18:32.400 I don't think
00:18:32.860 you're the masters
00:18:33.320 of the universe.
00:18:34.800 But then stop
00:18:35.920 messing
00:18:37.140 with our societies.
00:18:39.860 Stop messing
00:18:40.540 with our very selves.
00:18:43.240 More predictions
00:18:44.020 coming out of Davos.
00:18:45.020 Another prediction
00:18:45.680 promise or threat
00:18:47.260 there's going to be
00:18:48.320 a big cyber attack.
00:18:49.960 We're here today
00:18:51.120 to share the findings
00:18:52.600 of the World Economic Forums
00:18:54.160 Global Security Outlook
00:18:56.040 Report 2023.
00:18:58.960 This is a result
00:19:00.020 of research
00:19:00.900 in collaboration
00:19:01.560 with the forums communities
00:19:02.880 and our partner Accenture
00:19:04.280 in which we've interviewed
00:19:06.300 and sought input
00:19:07.140 from over 300 executives globally.
00:19:09.680 The most striking finding
00:19:11.020 that we found
00:19:11.940 is that 93%
00:19:13.200 of cyber leaders
00:19:14.360 and 86%
00:19:16.420 of cyber business leaders
00:19:17.780 believe
00:19:19.000 that the geopolitical
00:19:20.180 instability
00:19:20.800 makes a catastrophic
00:19:22.900 cyber event
00:19:24.540 likely
00:19:25.060 in the next two years.
00:19:26.920 A catastrophic
00:19:27.960 cyber event
00:19:29.000 is likely
00:19:29.960 in the next years.
00:19:32.360 Maybe it is
00:19:33.220 maybe it isn't.
00:19:34.900 Are these people
00:19:35.880 going to stop it?
00:19:37.640 If they
00:19:38.400 can't stop it
00:19:39.360 they don't seem
00:19:40.080 quite so omnipotent
00:19:41.160 as they present themselves.
00:19:42.860 Are these people
00:19:43.420 going to cause it?
00:19:44.800 Are some of them
00:19:45.800 going to cause it?
00:19:46.820 If they cause it
00:19:47.720 they don't seem
00:19:48.260 quite so omnibenevolent
00:19:49.640 as they present themselves.
00:19:51.180 They seem like
00:19:51.960 pretty false gods
00:19:53.100 and yet they want to
00:19:54.400 rewrite humanity
00:19:56.080 itself.
00:19:59.160 See a clip.
00:20:00.080 This is put out
00:20:00.500 by the World Economic Forum.
00:20:02.060 Rewriting the code of life.
00:20:03.260 Gene editing technology
00:20:04.520 can change a whole organism.
00:20:06.420 Could enhance our existence
00:20:08.920 to materials,
00:20:11.500 fashion,
00:20:11.900 we need to fix the economy.
00:20:13.560 Redesigning organisms
00:20:14.580 for beneficial purposes.
00:20:16.080 It's going to allow us
00:20:17.100 to not just edit genomes
00:20:19.160 but also
00:20:20.160 and importantly
00:20:21.380 write a new code for life.
00:20:23.440 We'll have
00:20:23.700 write level permissions.
00:20:25.660 We already started
00:20:26.320 to see some of that
00:20:26.960 this year.
00:20:27.560 COVID-19 vaccines
00:20:28.760 they make use
00:20:29.840 of engineered code
00:20:30.980 in the form of
00:20:31.780 messenger RNA.
00:20:33.840 Technology will cut out
00:20:35.180 unwanted sights and sounds.
00:20:37.200 What's on the horizon
00:20:38.060 are diminished reality glasses
00:20:40.140 that look very much
00:20:41.560 like what I'm wearing
00:20:42.360 that would allow you
00:20:43.740 to remove things
00:20:45.440 from your point of view,
00:20:46.380 from your view,
00:20:46.940 whether that's garbage
00:20:48.020 or other people.
00:20:50.720 I did not believe
00:20:51.740 that clip when I saw it.
00:20:52.960 I said this has to be fake.
00:20:54.200 They cast some woman.
00:20:55.220 It's a hoax.
00:20:55.820 I don't believe it.
00:20:56.540 I looked it up.
00:20:57.140 It's real.
00:20:58.840 The concept of
00:20:59.740 diminished reality glasses
00:21:01.500 where our rulers,
00:21:03.680 they're not going to clean
00:21:04.340 the garbage out of our society.
00:21:05.800 They're just going to put
00:21:06.420 on blindfolds basically.
00:21:08.040 They're going to blind us
00:21:09.600 so we don't see it anymore.
00:21:11.260 That's a plan
00:21:12.100 being pushed
00:21:13.260 by one of the most
00:21:15.860 elite and exclusive clubs
00:21:17.400 on planet Earth.
00:21:21.720 Do you trust these people
00:21:23.560 to be your new gods?
00:21:25.140 Some people do.
00:21:26.040 Some people,
00:21:26.520 atheists who don't believe
00:21:27.680 in the real God,
00:21:28.940 they say,
00:21:29.380 well, these people
00:21:29.900 are so smart.
00:21:30.700 They're so genius.
00:21:31.520 They're billionaires.
00:21:32.380 They run the world.
00:21:33.580 And so, yeah,
00:21:34.480 if they can go into my DNA
00:21:37.500 and hack it,
00:21:38.700 oh, jab me, baby.
00:21:40.180 Let's do it.
00:21:40.840 Let's make it happen.
00:21:42.200 Come on.
00:21:42.540 I want augmented reality
00:21:43.900 and diminished reality.
00:21:44.920 Get that trash out of there.
00:21:46.180 Pump me full of drugs.
00:21:47.200 Make me live in a video game.
00:21:48.640 Put me in the pod.
00:21:49.540 I'll eat the bugs.
00:21:50.480 Whatever.
00:21:50.960 I don't care.
00:21:51.860 Do you really want
00:21:54.700 to live in a world
00:21:55.840 in which these people are gods?
00:21:57.660 I, for one,
00:21:58.600 call me crazy,
00:21:59.220 I, for one,
00:21:59.620 prefer to live in the world
00:22:00.800 where God is God.
00:22:01.960 I trust God
00:22:02.800 more than I trust these people.
00:22:04.540 I'm fine with medical advances
00:22:06.020 that can cure diseases
00:22:09.300 and deficiencies
00:22:10.180 because we live in a fallen world
00:22:11.720 and everyone encounters
00:22:13.020 some kinds of flaws and errors.
00:22:16.400 But do I want to rewrite
00:22:18.620 what a human is, period?
00:22:22.160 Do I want to go in
00:22:23.700 and enhance what a human being is?
00:22:25.860 No, I don't think
00:22:26.500 that I'm going to improve
00:22:27.580 very much on God's design.
00:22:29.820 And I am sure as hell convinced
00:22:31.780 that those people
00:22:33.160 are not going to improve
00:22:34.560 on God's design at all.
00:22:36.260 But if I've got to choose
00:22:37.380 between gods,
00:22:38.800 I'm picking the real one.
00:22:40.580 Speaking of religion,
00:22:41.720 a professor has just lost her job
00:22:44.260 because she showed
00:22:46.420 a picture of Muhammad in class.
00:22:49.820 Dr. Erica Lopez Prater
00:22:51.400 showed images
00:22:53.900 in a course on Islamic art.
00:22:57.840 Islamic art, Muhammad,
00:23:00.120 you would think that
00:23:00.660 these things go together.
00:23:01.620 Most people know
00:23:02.540 that a lot of Muslims
00:23:04.360 find images,
00:23:06.220 physical depictions of Muhammad
00:23:07.800 to be sacrilegious.
00:23:10.060 And the teacher acknowledged this.
00:23:11.580 Apparently, the teacher
00:23:12.520 gave a sort of warning beforehand
00:23:15.060 and said,
00:23:15.600 hey, some people might find
00:23:16.760 this offensive,
00:23:17.420 but it's a course on Islamic art
00:23:18.680 and so I'm going to show
00:23:19.200 Islamic art, okay?
00:23:20.380 And because she taught this,
00:23:22.640 she's been fired.
00:23:23.520 A senior student
00:23:24.560 complained to school leaders
00:23:26.020 who decided to fire the teacher.
00:23:28.440 They said,
00:23:29.680 this is what David Everett,
00:23:31.200 who is the Hamline University,
00:23:33.500 Hamlin, Hamline,
00:23:34.460 not sure,
00:23:35.280 Associate Vice President
00:23:36.200 for Inclusive Excellence,
00:23:39.040 reads like a Dilbert cartoon.
00:23:41.700 It reads like an absolute joke.
00:23:44.280 David Everett,
00:23:45.040 who has got this
00:23:45.840 completely useless,
00:23:47.080 woke job
00:23:47.660 where he takes tuition money
00:23:48.940 to create problems,
00:23:51.680 he says,
00:23:52.320 in lieu of this incident,
00:23:54.340 it was decided,
00:23:55.400 it was best,
00:23:56.360 that this faculty member
00:23:57.560 was no longer part
00:23:58.780 of the Hamline community.
00:24:01.160 First of all,
00:24:02.880 David Everett
00:24:04.020 might know a lot
00:24:05.520 about inclusive excellence.
00:24:07.820 He does not know very much
00:24:08.920 about the English language
00:24:09.920 in lieu,
00:24:10.480 what does that mean?
00:24:11.140 Does he mean in light
00:24:12.020 of this incident?
00:24:13.280 In lieu of means
00:24:14.140 instead of this incident.
00:24:16.240 But he doesn't know that.
00:24:16.900 He doesn't know anything
00:24:17.480 about basic English,
00:24:18.500 but he knows a lot
00:24:19.200 about woke ideology.
00:24:20.380 That's true of many
00:24:21.600 college graduates these days.
00:24:23.460 I guess it's true
00:24:24.200 of some teachers.
00:24:24.880 It's definitely true
00:24:25.640 of these know-nothing
00:24:26.920 administrators.
00:24:28.320 In lieu of this incident,
00:24:29.200 we felt it was best.
00:24:30.440 And so,
00:24:30.980 what did the Hamline
00:24:32.200 Vice President,
00:24:35.040 Fainese Miller,
00:24:36.480 said,
00:24:37.140 it is not our intent
00:24:38.360 to place blame.
00:24:40.160 Rather,
00:24:40.520 it is our intent
00:24:41.080 to note that
00:24:41.680 in the classroom incident,
00:24:43.500 where an image
00:24:44.400 forbidden for Muslims
00:24:45.600 to look upon
00:24:46.420 was projected on a screen
00:24:48.080 and left for many minutes,
00:24:49.920 not just several minutes,
00:24:52.320 many minutes,
00:24:53.060 respect for the observant
00:24:55.120 Muslim students
00:24:55.800 in that classroom
00:24:56.660 should have superseded
00:24:58.380 academic freedom.
00:25:01.080 Okay.
00:25:02.120 You're going to hear
00:25:02.860 a lot of conservative
00:25:03.680 commentators say,
00:25:04.660 this is outrageous.
00:25:06.120 We have a commitment
00:25:07.260 to academic freedom
00:25:08.120 and nothing should supersede
00:25:09.940 academic freedom.
00:25:10.760 That's not my point of view.
00:25:12.200 I don't even think
00:25:12.820 that's a conservative
00:25:13.460 point of view.
00:25:14.280 In fact,
00:25:14.620 the modern conservative movement,
00:25:15.980 which many,
00:25:17.400 if not most people,
00:25:18.060 credit with beginning
00:25:18.760 by a book
00:25:19.200 by William F. Buckley Jr.
00:25:21.020 called God and Man at Yale,
00:25:22.180 that whole book
00:25:23.120 was making fun
00:25:24.160 of academic freedom.
00:25:25.540 The subtitle was
00:25:26.280 The Superstitions
00:25:27.080 of Academic Freedom.
00:25:28.140 I don't think
00:25:28.520 there's any such thing
00:25:29.260 as academic freedom.
00:25:30.360 I don't think teachers
00:25:31.000 have any right
00:25:31.660 to teach whatever
00:25:32.920 they want in the classroom.
00:25:34.720 I do think
00:25:35.840 that this professor
00:25:37.220 had a right
00:25:38.500 and frankly
00:25:39.020 an obligation
00:25:39.740 to present images,
00:25:41.860 including images
00:25:42.500 like this one,
00:25:43.440 in a course
00:25:43.980 on Islamic art
00:25:44.960 or at least,
00:25:46.500 certainly it was
00:25:47.060 within her rights
00:25:47.700 to do that
00:25:48.080 if she didn't have
00:25:48.600 an outright obligation
00:25:49.560 to do so.
00:25:50.240 But I'm not denying
00:25:52.740 that Muslim students
00:25:53.960 might have been offended
00:25:54.860 and they might have
00:25:55.940 considered it sacrilegious.
00:25:57.480 I consider it sacrilegious.
00:25:59.360 I'm a Christian.
00:26:00.340 I consider it sacrilegious
00:26:01.460 when people deny
00:26:02.520 the divinity of Christ.
00:26:04.100 I consider that
00:26:04.740 to be very sacrilegious.
00:26:06.300 Okay?
00:26:06.860 I bet a Jewish student
00:26:08.160 would consider it sacrilegious
00:26:10.140 if at a,
00:26:11.800 I don't know,
00:26:12.920 a religious studies
00:26:14.360 party,
00:26:16.240 religious studies
00:26:18.440 happy hour
00:26:19.160 with a lot of
00:26:20.840 Jewish students present.
00:26:21.820 They served shellfish
00:26:23.060 and bacon.
00:26:24.020 I could see
00:26:24.920 how a Jewish student
00:26:25.820 would maybe
00:26:26.620 be offended by that.
00:26:27.800 Okay?
00:26:30.660 We live in a
00:26:31.640 pluralistic society.
00:26:32.840 That is a fact.
00:26:33.700 And we all make
00:26:35.220 certain kinds
00:26:37.360 of conciliations
00:26:38.840 and come to a
00:26:39.640 sort of kind
00:26:40.340 of imperfect agreement
00:26:41.280 where we
00:26:42.240 are able to get
00:26:43.940 along with each other.
00:26:44.660 I would be more
00:26:46.460 than happy
00:26:47.000 seeing laws
00:26:48.320 against
00:26:49.020 this kind
00:26:51.280 of offensive material
00:26:52.320 beefed up a little bit.
00:26:54.200 I do not believe
00:26:55.040 that the Satanists
00:26:55.840 have any right
00:26:56.540 to put up
00:26:57.360 a Baphomet statue
00:26:58.440 in a state capitol
00:26:59.360 or a courthouse
00:27:00.100 as many of them contend.
00:27:01.420 I don't think
00:27:01.720 the Founding Fathers
00:27:02.420 ever believed
00:27:03.120 that that was the case.
00:27:04.340 In fact,
00:27:04.580 we had blasphemy laws
00:27:05.620 on the books
00:27:06.360 in this country
00:27:06.920 for most of our nation's history.
00:27:08.460 In fact,
00:27:08.840 they're still on the books
00:27:09.660 in a number of states
00:27:10.680 even today.
00:27:12.280 I think it would be great.
00:27:13.880 I think it would be
00:27:14.260 a good thing
00:27:14.800 in this country
00:27:15.280 if we offered
00:27:16.560 people of
00:27:17.640 different religious views
00:27:18.920 far greater respect
00:27:20.380 than we do
00:27:20.880 in our extremely
00:27:21.780 atheistic culture.
00:27:24.940 But we can't be
00:27:26.420 just banning images
00:27:28.280 of Muhammad
00:27:28.920 in Islamic art
00:27:30.280 classrooms, okay?
00:27:32.440 In this university,
00:27:34.240 I promise you,
00:27:35.240 a teacher could get up
00:27:36.420 and blaspheme
00:27:37.620 Jesus,
00:27:39.000 could mock
00:27:39.800 the God of the Bible,
00:27:41.420 could specifically
00:27:42.140 mock God
00:27:42.880 in the Old Testament,
00:27:44.000 mock the ancient
00:27:44.680 Israelites,
00:27:45.800 could say it's all
00:27:46.680 a ridiculous,
00:27:47.420 stupid,
00:27:47.720 made-up story,
00:27:48.920 but contrived
00:27:50.520 by a bunch
00:27:51.040 of lunatics
00:27:51.700 who were afraid
00:27:52.580 of a magical sky daddy.
00:27:53.700 I bet a number
00:27:54.160 of professors,
00:27:55.620 certainly many professors
00:27:56.720 around the country
00:27:57.220 have done that.
00:27:57.940 I bet a number
00:27:58.700 of professors
00:27:59.120 at this school
00:27:59.880 have probably done that.
00:28:00.900 You wouldn't hear
00:28:01.400 boo about it.
00:28:02.840 But because
00:28:03.960 it is politically
00:28:05.320 incorrect
00:28:06.040 to in any way
00:28:08.440 disparage
00:28:09.880 an image
00:28:10.260 of Muhammad
00:28:10.880 or in any way
00:28:11.980 to transgress
00:28:12.800 some practice
00:28:13.880 of Islam.
00:28:15.200 Forget about
00:28:15.720 Christianity,
00:28:16.300 forget about Judaism.
00:28:17.120 That's the only
00:28:17.660 reason they did it.
00:28:18.720 They're not doing it
00:28:19.420 to protect Muslims,
00:28:20.280 they're doing it
00:28:20.640 to protect
00:28:21.020 political correctness.
00:28:23.500 Absolutely
00:28:23.940 outrageous.
00:28:25.860 And they're
00:28:26.580 doing it
00:28:27.200 to further
00:28:27.860 a leftist
00:28:28.380 political agenda.
00:28:29.280 They're using
00:28:29.880 the Muslims
00:28:30.440 to do that,
00:28:31.440 but they don't
00:28:32.120 really care about
00:28:32.720 the Muslims.
00:28:33.160 They don't believe
00:28:34.120 in Allah
00:28:34.600 any more
00:28:35.220 than they believe
00:28:35.880 in the God
00:28:37.140 of the Old Testament
00:28:37.920 or the God
00:28:39.460 understood
00:28:40.260 in Christianity
00:28:41.260 and worshipped
00:28:41.720 by Christians.
00:28:44.040 Speaking of
00:28:44.920 matters of life
00:28:45.820 and death,
00:28:48.740 you know
00:28:49.280 I've got a little
00:28:50.000 bit of a hobby horse.
00:28:51.240 I referred earlier
00:28:52.420 to the hobby horse
00:28:53.140 of that World Economic
00:28:54.060 Forum lady.
00:28:55.380 I've got a little
00:28:56.160 bit of a hobby horse
00:28:56.880 myself and I got it
00:28:57.720 from my wife,
00:28:58.320 sweet little Elisa
00:28:59.080 and that hobby horse
00:29:00.020 would be
00:29:00.800 seed oils.
00:29:01.900 I,
00:29:03.280 listen,
00:29:03.620 I've never
00:29:04.120 been convinced
00:29:04.920 of any fad
00:29:07.000 nutritional diet
00:29:08.080 stuff ever
00:29:08.780 in my life.
00:29:09.760 I thought the Atkins
00:29:10.520 thing was crazy.
00:29:11.980 I thought all the
00:29:12.700 paleo,
00:29:14.200 the keto,
00:29:15.140 all these different,
00:29:15.940 I always think
00:29:16.520 they're all very silly,
00:29:17.500 but there is one
00:29:18.480 nutritional fashion
00:29:20.720 that I'm completely
00:29:21.580 bought into.
00:29:22.680 Seed oils.
00:29:24.180 Canola oil,
00:29:25.660 palm seed oil,
00:29:27.400 rape seed oil.
00:29:28.140 It's called
00:29:28.400 rape seed oil
00:29:29.080 for goodness sakes.
00:29:29.780 All these gross
00:29:32.400 seed oils that
00:29:32.980 cropped up in the
00:29:33.580 last 30 years
00:29:34.260 and replaced good
00:29:35.000 oils like olive oil
00:29:36.080 or replaced good
00:29:37.340 tasting butter,
00:29:39.120 all the rest of it.
00:29:39.840 I am totally
00:29:41.340 anti-seed oil.
00:29:42.400 I was thinking about
00:29:43.200 the evolution of
00:29:43.920 conservatism the other
00:29:44.760 day.
00:29:45.000 I thought,
00:29:45.360 how has conservatism
00:29:46.640 changed?
00:29:47.940 In the 18th century,
00:29:49.500 it was about opposing
00:29:50.600 revolution.
00:29:51.840 In the 19th century,
00:29:52.940 it was about defending
00:29:53.760 tradition.
00:29:54.920 In the 20th century,
00:29:56.040 it was about preserving
00:29:57.440 liberty.
00:29:59.380 Today,
00:30:00.460 as far as I'm concerned,
00:30:02.340 one of the most
00:30:03.480 exciting motivators
00:30:04.700 of the conservative
00:30:05.880 spirit is just
00:30:07.300 freaking hating
00:30:08.580 seed oils.
00:30:09.340 It's so funny.
00:30:10.580 It's kind of an
00:30:11.760 internet-y,
00:30:13.380 you're paying too
00:30:14.680 close attention to
00:30:15.360 politics thing right
00:30:16.020 now.
00:30:16.220 It's going mainstream.
00:30:17.340 I know it's going
00:30:18.200 mainstream.
00:30:18.920 It even appeared
00:30:19.920 on a very popular
00:30:21.700 TV show.
00:30:23.000 What's the worst
00:30:23.880 oil out there
00:30:24.880 to cook with?
00:30:27.040 You know,
00:30:27.440 this is a really
00:30:28.040 controversial thing.
00:30:29.040 I'm going to be
00:30:29.480 honest.
00:30:30.480 And there's a huge
00:30:31.460 controversy right now
00:30:32.320 about processed seed
00:30:33.680 oils, which are
00:30:35.660 relatively new in the
00:30:36.600 food supply and have
00:30:37.960 taken off as rates of
00:30:39.520 obesity and other
00:30:40.540 problems have taken
00:30:41.520 off.
00:30:42.540 So some people think
00:30:43.700 that processed seed
00:30:44.840 oils might be bad
00:30:45.780 for us.
00:30:46.400 Others argue,
00:30:47.360 no, they're not.
00:30:48.340 There's a difference in
00:30:49.200 omega-3 versus omega-6
00:30:51.200 fatty acids in them.
00:30:52.980 Seed oils tend to be
00:30:53.840 very high in omega-6
00:30:55.540 fatty acids, which
00:30:56.500 might be more
00:30:57.100 inflammatory.
00:30:58.880 That was live with
00:31:00.760 Kelly and Ryan.
00:31:01.760 That is a very
00:31:02.720 mainstream TV show,
00:31:04.480 and they are just
00:31:05.500 throwing a ton of
00:31:06.260 shade at seed oils.
00:31:07.560 Why do I like the
00:31:08.540 seed oil thing?
00:31:09.620 One, I'm pretty
00:31:11.300 convinced that it's
00:31:11.900 true that seed oils
00:31:12.780 are not the best for
00:31:13.400 you.
00:31:13.760 But the reason I
00:31:14.660 really like it
00:31:15.460 politically is that
00:31:18.840 it's not really about
00:31:20.680 the seed oils.
00:31:21.420 the seed oil hatred
00:31:23.280 is a sign for a
00:31:25.640 broader political
00:31:26.520 view.
00:31:27.580 When someone comes up
00:31:28.540 to me and they say,
00:31:29.040 Michael, I hate seed
00:31:30.220 oils.
00:31:30.640 I can tell you who
00:31:33.540 that person voted
00:31:34.200 for.
00:31:34.720 I can tell you how
00:31:36.280 that person stands on
00:31:37.340 the major issues.
00:31:38.580 I can probably broadly
00:31:39.960 tell you that person's
00:31:41.160 religious views.
00:31:42.560 I can tell you which
00:31:44.500 people in the
00:31:45.000 government that person
00:31:45.720 trusts and doesn't.
00:31:46.560 I could tell you a lot
00:31:47.240 about it, even though
00:31:48.360 we're talking about
00:31:48.820 canola oil.
00:31:50.380 It's sort of like
00:31:51.340 yoga.
00:31:52.600 It's like yoga in the
00:31:53.760 sense that it's not
00:31:54.280 100% correct as a
00:31:55.960 predictor.
00:31:56.640 But if someone is
00:31:57.400 really, really into
00:31:58.520 yoga, that person is
00:32:00.000 probably a lib.
00:32:00.940 I know that there are
00:32:02.300 white conservative
00:32:03.100 girls who do yoga.
00:32:04.540 I know it's a
00:32:05.500 conversation for
00:32:06.600 another day, okay?
00:32:07.980 But the majority of
00:32:09.620 people who are super
00:32:10.880 duper into yoga in
00:32:12.560 the United States are
00:32:13.980 big libs because yoga
00:32:15.980 offers an alternative
00:32:17.960 spiritual,
00:32:19.380 vision, an
00:32:20.580 alternative religious
00:32:21.820 practice.
00:32:22.220 It is just a
00:32:22.820 religious practice
00:32:23.600 for people who
00:32:25.320 reject the
00:32:26.360 traditional religious
00:32:27.060 practices and
00:32:27.720 spiritual vision of
00:32:28.500 the West because it
00:32:30.400 satisfies certain
00:32:31.680 longings and speaks
00:32:34.080 to all sorts of
00:32:35.720 political issues,
00:32:37.020 even if it doesn't
00:32:38.260 seem to do so
00:32:39.060 directly.
00:32:40.520 I love these signs
00:32:42.360 because even if they
00:32:43.240 seem completely out of
00:32:44.180 left field, they
00:32:45.480 suggest that there is
00:32:46.780 a kind of coherence to
00:32:48.120 people's religious
00:32:49.020 views.
00:32:49.740 I remember one time I
00:32:50.580 met Ann Coulter in
00:32:51.580 college and at the
00:32:53.240 time I was, I think I
00:32:54.820 was pro-abortion at the
00:32:55.820 time or I was weakening
00:32:56.920 on it and I was
00:32:57.500 rethinking about the
00:32:58.920 issue and I was maybe in
00:32:59.520 the midst of that.
00:33:00.900 And Ann Coulter said,
00:33:02.680 look, if you're ever
00:33:03.340 debating between which of
00:33:05.060 two Republicans to vote
00:33:06.140 for, you got one who's
00:33:08.180 pro-life, you got one who's
00:33:09.020 pro-abortion, and all you
00:33:10.880 care about is lowering
00:33:12.560 your taxes, vote for the
00:33:15.200 pro-life Republican, he
00:33:17.060 will lower your taxes
00:33:18.540 more.
00:33:19.800 And that was a really,
00:33:20.980 really insightful
00:33:21.480 comment.
00:33:23.120 Seems like abortion and
00:33:24.260 taxes have very little to
00:33:25.220 do with one another, but
00:33:26.140 they do share a certain
00:33:26.960 base.
00:33:27.900 Those two issues derive
00:33:29.180 from the same kind of
00:33:30.240 basic understanding of
00:33:31.620 who the human person is,
00:33:33.540 what kind of rights we
00:33:35.300 ought to have to our own
00:33:36.840 property, what respect we
00:33:39.000 ought to have for life,
00:33:40.040 what skepticism we ought to
00:33:41.080 have against unjust
00:33:42.760 powers.
00:33:43.320 That person will lower
00:33:45.940 your taxes more, that
00:33:48.040 there's a kind of
00:33:48.620 coherence to these views.
00:33:50.260 Very often you'll hear
00:33:51.100 people in the middle and
00:33:52.560 the libs and the
00:33:53.140 squishes say, come on,
00:33:54.280 we don't need to all
00:33:55.140 agree as one party or
00:33:57.560 anything like that.
00:33:58.140 We can have a view on
00:33:59.480 this over here and a view
00:34:00.600 on that from this other
00:34:01.460 party and a view, and
00:34:02.320 that's true, but you
00:34:03.100 won't make sense.
00:34:04.360 You can do it, but it's
00:34:04.900 much better to make sense.
00:34:07.260 You know what makes
00:34:07.720 sense?
00:34:08.560 Buying Jeremy's Razors.
00:34:09.860 Jeremy's Razors is
00:34:10.660 offering a giant discount
00:34:11.700 right now, 40% off on
00:34:13.260 all Razor subscriptions.
00:34:14.540 Why?
00:34:15.540 I'm glad you asked.
00:34:16.440 I'm glad I asked.
00:34:17.380 One year ago today, Joe
00:34:18.940 Biden tried to force
00:34:19.680 vaccines on just about
00:34:20.860 everybody.
00:34:21.440 Here is what Jeremy,
00:34:22.300 co-CEO of the Daily
00:34:23.180 Wire, had to say about
00:34:24.000 that.
00:34:24.880 We won't be enforcing
00:34:26.100 Joe Biden's unconstitutional
00:34:27.540 and tyrannical vaccine
00:34:28.720 mandate.
00:34:29.700 That's it.
00:34:30.480 We'll use every tool at
00:34:31.520 our disposal, including
00:34:32.480 legal action, to resist.
00:34:34.740 Yes, that's the same
00:34:35.920 Jeremy from Jeremy's
00:34:36.860 Razors, who you may
00:34:38.020 remember from this viral
00:34:40.340 commercial.
00:34:40.920 Did you see any other
00:34:51.960 CEOs out there publicly
00:34:53.160 suing the government on
00:34:54.140 your behalf?
00:34:55.080 No.
00:34:56.200 Just Jeremy.
00:34:57.320 And the best part about it
00:34:58.280 is, we won.
00:34:59.620 The Biden vaccine mandate
00:35:01.920 is as good as dead.
00:35:03.400 We said do not comply and
00:35:04.700 you did not comply.
00:35:06.060 In fact, over a million of
00:35:07.180 you signed our petition
00:35:08.080 saying as much.
00:35:09.280 And today, together, we
00:35:10.920 kick the government's
00:35:11.780 ass.
00:35:12.040 So, are you going to keep
00:35:14.040 buying from those other
00:35:14.920 guys or from the guy who
00:35:16.480 sued the government on
00:35:17.240 your behalf and won?
00:35:19.460 And for all the ladies
00:35:20.260 out there, give your man
00:35:21.220 something else to smile
00:35:22.140 about.
00:35:22.680 Every time that he picks
00:35:24.240 up at Jeremy's Razor,
00:35:25.120 he'll remember just how
00:35:25.900 much you care.
00:35:27.520 Trust me.
00:35:27.960 If he listens to this
00:35:28.800 show, too, he will
00:35:30.100 appreciate you even more.
00:35:31.920 And if he doesn't listen
00:35:32.720 to this show, leave that
00:35:33.840 man.
00:35:34.160 He is not a good man.
00:35:35.660 He does not have good
00:35:36.860 judgment.
00:35:37.440 We will make it even
00:35:38.120 easier for you.
00:35:38.780 Switch right now and get
00:35:39.880 40% off on your Razor

00:35:45.620 Speaking of hippie stuff,
00:35:48.180 Greta.
00:35:49.960 St. Greta of the
00:35:51.860 Blessed Sailboat.
00:35:53.180 I know she sounds kind of
00:35:54.120 Irish.
00:35:54.500 I'm trying to do a
00:35:55.100 Swedish.
00:35:55.860 I don't know how to do
00:35:56.980 it.
00:35:57.080 I don't know.
00:35:57.580 Okay, I'm not.
00:35:59.460 I'll work on it.
00:36:00.480 We'll try it again next
00:36:01.260 time.
00:36:01.760 St. Greta was just
00:36:03.620 arrested.
00:36:04.600 She was arrested by law
00:36:06.140 enforcement in Germany.
00:36:08.100 I would have expected that
00:36:09.480 she would have gone to
00:36:10.420 Davos either to appear at
00:36:12.800 the World Economic Forum
00:36:13.800 or to protest the World
00:36:15.620 Economic Forum, even
00:36:16.420 though the World Economic
00:36:17.140 Forum loves Greta.
00:36:18.360 But that didn't happen
00:36:19.360 because she was arrested
00:36:20.300 in Germany.
00:36:22.780 She was protesting the
00:36:23.800 expansion of a coal mine
00:36:25.200 in western Germany.
00:36:26.880 And according to
00:36:27.460 Reuters, she was warned
00:36:28.920 by police that she would
00:36:30.440 be removed by force if she
00:36:31.540 did not vacate the mine
00:36:32.960 site.
00:36:33.740 And what did St.
00:36:34.520 Greta do?
00:36:35.380 She did not vacate the
00:36:36.820 mine site.
00:36:37.580 And so what happened?
00:36:38.220 And she was dragged off
00:36:39.100 by police, marking, I
00:36:41.100 believe, the first time
00:36:42.240 that Greta has ever
00:36:44.360 been arrested.
00:36:47.880 I assume she would have
00:36:49.040 been arrested as a
00:36:49.820 teenager for skipping
00:36:50.720 school for like 180 days
00:36:52.840 in a row.
00:36:53.320 But no, I don't know.
00:36:54.440 Maybe the laws are
00:36:55.060 different over there in
00:36:55.740 Sweden.
00:36:56.520 In America, I think that
00:36:57.380 would have happened.
00:36:57.940 Truancy laws.
00:36:58.880 But this apparently was
00:37:00.540 the first time she was
00:37:01.140 arrested.
00:37:01.480 arrested and what the
00:37:06.820 libs have said now is
00:37:07.780 it's time for many more
00:37:08.700 of us to stand up and
00:37:10.120 risk arrest for the sake
00:37:12.120 of being on a livable
00:37:13.240 planet.
00:37:13.860 That's right.
00:37:14.360 She stood up to power
00:37:15.340 except some video came
00:37:17.280 out, not just of her
00:37:18.200 arrest where they're
00:37:18.780 dragging her off, but
00:37:19.880 video of a little bit
00:37:20.780 before the arrest when
00:37:22.860 Greta is palling around
00:37:25.000 with the cops and actually
00:37:27.160 posing for photos with
00:37:28.760 them.
00:37:31.240 You see, everybody
00:37:32.100 smiles, giggling, taking
00:37:35.600 some photos, all these
00:37:36.820 Greta just laughing, having
00:37:39.060 a grand, okay, but then
00:37:39.980 photos come, she's got
00:37:40.880 a straight inside her face
00:37:42.200 a little bit.
00:37:45.320 There are the cops posing
00:37:46.940 and they're posing, holding
00:37:50.240 her arm and her hand for
00:37:51.680 the reporters.
00:37:54.920 She's there looking defiant.
00:37:56.980 Cops aren't, they're not
00:37:57.760 actually arresting her,
00:37:58.520 they're just posing, and
00:37:59.960 then they finally walk
00:38:01.020 with her in the position
00:38:02.820 of arresting her.
00:38:05.180 Some are suggesting that
00:38:06.600 this was all a stunt
00:38:07.480 cooked up by Greta
00:38:08.340 Thunberg, that these
00:38:09.540 weren't real police
00:38:10.340 officers, that they were
00:38:11.440 just men wearing
00:38:12.160 costumes.
00:38:12.740 I don't think that's
00:38:13.440 true.
00:38:14.340 I bet, I don't know for
00:38:15.780 sure, but I bet those
00:38:16.660 were real cops.
00:38:19.060 No, no, the explanation
00:38:20.520 for this photo op followed
00:38:22.500 by a fake arrest, I guess
00:38:26.300 technically a real arrest,
00:38:27.920 but then they released her
00:38:28.960 immediately, they just
00:38:29.980 checked her identity and
00:38:31.160 let her go, and the whole
00:38:32.420 thing was just such a
00:38:33.300 fraud.
00:38:34.460 The real explanation is far
00:38:35.880 darker than Greta paid
00:38:37.320 some actors Jussie Smollett
00:38:38.560 style.
00:38:39.200 The real explanation is
00:38:40.460 that they're all on the
00:38:42.660 same side.
00:38:45.360 Greta and the police are
00:38:47.160 pretending that they're on
00:38:48.280 opposite sides and they're
00:38:49.460 fighting, but they're not.
00:38:51.160 They're on the same side.
00:38:52.520 This is why it's always such
00:38:53.480 a farce when Greta
00:38:54.800 protests at things like the
00:38:56.800 World Economic Forum or any
00:38:58.100 other liberal event.
00:38:59.400 It says, you're not going
00:39:00.260 far enough.
00:39:00.980 The libs love that.
00:39:02.000 The libs love the pressure
00:39:04.340 from the left to give them
00:39:07.040 an opportunity to seize even
00:39:08.720 more control and pursue an
00:39:10.260 even more radical agenda than
00:39:11.400 they were already doing.
00:39:13.020 It gives them the excuse to
00:39:13.920 say, well, we're getting
00:39:15.040 popular pressure from St.
00:39:17.020 Greta of the Blessed
00:39:17.720 Sailboat, and so we've got to
00:39:19.180 do this sort of thing.
00:39:19.900 You don't need a conspiracy
00:39:21.420 theory for that.
00:39:22.300 This is how the system
00:39:23.840 works.
00:39:25.180 There is the appearance of
00:39:26.740 opposition, but very often
00:39:29.700 it's simply that.
00:39:31.040 It's a facade.
00:39:32.500 And the people who appear to
00:39:33.600 be locked, locking horns,
00:39:35.720 fighting to the death, they're
00:39:37.220 really palling around.
00:39:38.320 They're really on the same
00:39:39.100 team.
00:39:40.640 You see this from the
00:39:42.200 Republicans who cheer on the
00:39:43.500 globalists at Davos.
00:39:44.640 There's a Republican
00:39:45.260 congressman, Maria Salazar, who
00:39:48.120 showed up to the World
00:39:49.720 Economic Forum not to defend
00:39:52.980 American national
00:39:53.800 sovereignty, not to say that
00:39:56.420 we won't eat the bugs and
00:39:57.300 live in the pods, give away
00:39:59.180 all our property to Klaus Schwab.
00:40:00.900 No, she showed up there to
00:40:03.320 demand dignity for illegal
00:40:05.960 aliens in America.
00:40:07.620 It's time for both parties to
00:40:09.480 pay attention to something that
00:40:10.780 for the last 35 years, either
00:40:13.040 party has been able to do, which
00:40:14.700 is to pass complete overhaul of
00:40:17.280 the immigration system.
00:40:18.760 Because not only we need those
00:40:20.000 hands, like the Congress, like
00:40:21.580 us, a senator was saying, but we
00:40:24.040 need to also give dignity to
00:40:26.280 those people who are in the
00:40:27.720 country.
00:40:28.480 And those are the people that I
00:40:29.440 represent.
00:40:29.960 We're talking about 13, 15 million
00:40:31.960 people who are, most of them
00:40:34.160 Hispanics, I would say 85%, who
00:40:36.760 speak my language, look like me,
00:40:38.540 and sound like me, that are
00:40:40.160 contributing with the economy of
00:40:42.300 this country, and they live in the
00:40:43.600 shadows.
00:40:43.880 So it's time to seal the
00:40:45.680 border, like she said, put
00:40:47.280 order, let's see who comes in and
00:40:48.920 who doesn't, and then turn around
00:40:50.760 and give dignity.
00:40:51.880 That doesn't mean path to
00:40:52.820 citizenship, that means to
00:40:54.200 include them and make them
00:40:55.860 dignified members of our
00:40:58.140 community.
00:40:58.640 Thank you.
00:40:59.640 How does that not mean path to
00:41:01.840 citizenship?
00:41:02.820 In what way do the illegal
00:41:06.120 aliens in America lack dignity
00:41:09.500 that is not merely synonymous
00:41:13.180 with citizenship or a pathway to
00:41:15.800 citizenship?
00:41:16.740 In what way?
00:41:17.640 You're saying they're
00:41:18.580 contributing to the economy.
00:41:19.580 Okay, so they're getting jobs.
00:41:20.640 It's not that they're being kept
00:41:21.800 out of getting jobs.
00:41:22.560 Like when the Irish came here,
00:41:23.780 and in New York they put up
00:41:24.740 signs, Irish need not apply
00:41:26.100 because there was a prejudice
00:41:27.080 against the Irish.
00:41:27.860 That's not what's happening.
00:41:29.520 Hispanics are getting a ton of
00:41:30.480 jobs in America.
00:41:31.280 That's why they keep coming.
00:41:33.720 Is it they're not being allowed
00:41:35.240 into restaurants?
00:41:36.000 No, they're being allowed into
00:41:36.740 any public accommodation they
00:41:37.860 want.
00:41:38.080 Is it that they're not being
00:41:40.140 addressed by the political class?
00:41:41.700 No, the political class, not only
00:41:43.100 the Democrats who are importing
00:41:44.580 them by the millions every year,
00:41:46.760 but the Republicans like Maria
00:41:48.100 Salazar, they can't stop babbling
00:41:50.280 about the illegal aliens and how
00:41:51.620 great they are.
00:41:52.480 In fact, Maria Salazar said that she
00:41:54.740 represents them.
00:41:57.200 When did that happen?
00:42:00.180 Maybe I'm a little bit thick.
00:42:01.660 Maybe I'm a little bit stupid.
00:42:03.100 It's been a while since I took
00:42:04.140 civics.
00:42:04.780 I thought, though, that the members
00:42:07.260 of Congress represented
00:42:08.540 their constituents who voted
00:42:09.980 for them, who voted in the
00:42:12.100 elections, who are citizens,
00:42:14.780 who are members of that
00:42:16.100 political community.
00:42:18.760 That, by definition, would
00:42:20.380 exclude the foreign nationals who
00:42:22.840 are illegally residing in our
00:42:24.320 country in contravention of the
00:42:25.720 most basic laws of our country.
00:42:27.140 And what does she say?
00:42:27.800 She says, I represent them.
00:42:29.000 She does.
00:42:30.140 I'm sure she does.
00:42:31.340 When these people tell you who
00:42:32.940 they are, believe them.
00:42:34.280 Says, I represent the illegals.
00:42:35.720 That's true.
00:42:36.860 She doesn't represent you.
00:42:39.220 She shows up to Davos.
00:42:40.960 She pals around with all the
00:42:42.300 libs.
00:42:42.800 Yeah, she's got an R next to her
00:42:44.380 name.
00:42:45.020 Maybe she votes the right way.
00:42:46.240 Look, we have a thin majority in the
00:42:47.620 House of Representatives.
00:42:49.040 I'll take what I can get so that
00:42:51.020 Republicans can maintain control.
00:42:53.020 But you think she represents you?
00:42:54.600 You're crazy.
00:42:56.040 She just told you she doesn't.
00:42:58.000 She told you that she represents
00:42:59.500 foreigners.
00:43:01.000 And she represents them before she
00:43:03.700 represents you.
00:43:04.720 If she represents you at all, she
00:43:06.080 represents them first.
00:43:07.300 And she goes to their parties first.
00:43:08.980 And she speaks on their fancy
00:43:10.180 panels first.
00:43:11.260 And she is dead set on giving
00:43:14.060 them dignity.
00:43:15.180 The World Economic Forum is dead
00:43:16.400 set on taking away your dignity.
00:43:19.280 And the best she can say is we
00:43:20.600 need to give foreign criminals
00:43:21.760 more dignity.
00:43:24.200 More than we've already given them,
00:43:25.100 which is quite a lot.
00:43:25.900 More than we've already recognized,
00:43:27.160 which is quite a lot.
00:43:28.640 We'll wrap up my little W-E-F rant
00:43:32.920 with a turn to another kind of
00:43:34.820 squishy guy.
00:43:35.480 But he's not as squish as a
00:43:36.760 Republican who is basically a
00:43:38.900 Democrat.
00:43:39.380 He's a Democrat who is largely a
00:43:41.700 Republican.
00:43:42.100 That would be Joe Manchin, who said
00:43:43.860 that we got a real problem in our
00:43:45.000 country here in the United States.
00:43:46.780 He said this before a crowd at the
00:43:47.980 World Economic Forum.
00:43:48.860 And you know what that problem is?
00:43:50.840 A free press.
00:43:52.200 The problem that we have is the
00:43:53.960 open press system and basically all
00:43:56.020 the platforms.
00:43:56.580 So if you're able to have five
00:43:58.440 platforms, social platforms, that
00:44:00.420 you can basically personify the
00:44:04.280 extremes, somebody who is
00:44:06.120 extremely right or extremely left,
00:44:08.400 and it seems like that is the
00:44:09.540 majority speaking.
00:44:10.340 They're not the majority, but
00:44:11.820 they're basically driving everybody
00:44:13.340 to make a decision.
00:44:14.500 What side are you on?
00:44:15.420 Are you on this side or this side?
00:44:17.920 And in America, there's only one
00:44:19.220 side, the American side.
00:44:20.160 It's not the Republican side or
00:44:21.580 Democrat.
00:44:22.080 We should be coming together to
00:44:23.760 solve the problems from a
00:44:24.900 different angle.
00:44:25.460 We should come together to solve
00:44:27.840 the problems, but in order to
00:44:29.000 solve the problems, you have to
00:44:30.040 have a clear view of what you
00:44:31.620 want to accomplish.
00:44:32.600 And in order to do that, you have
00:44:33.720 to pick a side, Joe.
00:44:36.020 And so the kumbaya talk of, come
00:44:37.820 on, man, let's not have any
00:44:39.160 labels.
00:44:40.540 You know who doesn't want us to
00:44:41.360 have any labels?
00:44:42.280 The globalists set.
00:44:44.220 Because they don't want us to have
00:44:45.120 any power.
00:44:45.880 Because they don't want us to have
00:44:46.840 any vision.
00:44:47.420 They want to blind us.
00:44:48.300 They actually want to blind us to
00:44:49.500 what's going on in society.
00:44:50.680 They want us to wear glasses that
00:44:53.420 will reduce our vision.
00:44:54.700 And they brag about it on their
00:44:56.240 website.
00:44:57.720 And that's true of our physical
00:44:59.140 vision.
00:44:59.580 And that's true of our political
00:45:00.720 vision, too.
00:45:02.200 Come on.
00:45:03.060 That's our big problem.
00:45:04.320 Is the free press?
00:45:05.280 First of all, we don't have a free
00:45:06.200 press.
00:45:06.700 The press is a total corporate
00:45:08.980 sham that shills almost entirely
00:45:11.540 for the libs.
00:45:12.460 Okay?
00:45:13.040 That's our free press in this
00:45:14.520 country.
00:45:15.900 So, I mean, that's a bit of a
00:45:16.980 problem.
00:45:18.080 The problem is that our press is
00:45:19.560 too free.
00:45:20.060 They allow the Republicans to say
00:45:21.820 too much.
00:45:22.280 Maybe not for long, though.
00:45:23.720 Maybe not too long.
00:45:25.240 Not for too long if the World
00:45:26.880 Economic Forum gets its way.
00:45:29.140 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:45:29.760 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:45:31.060 See you tomorrow.
00:45:31.460 The Michael Knowles Show.
00:45:38.840 The Michael Knowles Show.
00:45:40.240 The Michael Knowles Show.
00:45:50.620 The Michael Knowles Show.
