Summary

Woody Harrelson's Saturday Night Live take on COVID, the drug conspiracy theory about how the government forced millions of people to do drugs, and then tried to make it into a joke, is a perfect example of how the ruling elite screwed up our lives over nothing.

00:00:00.000 Three years ago, you probably only heard skepticism of the COVID regime
00:00:04.760 on this show. Maybe a handful of others, maybe from your crazy conservative uncle.
00:00:11.620 Within the last year or so, you may have heard COVID skepticism from your center-right,
00:00:18.800 or maybe even center-left friends. Now you are hearing it during the opening monologue
00:00:25.440 on Saturday Night Live. This country seems so divided, beautiful, ugly, black, white, blue,
00:00:33.500 red. I love everybody. Maybe because I'm a redneck hippie. You know, the red in me thinks
00:00:41.580 you should be allowed to own guns. The blue in me thinks squirt guns. So I'm red and blue,
00:00:50.340 which makes purple. So the movie goes like this. The biggest drug cartels in the world get together
00:00:57.720 and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay
00:01:03.600 locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartels' drugs and keep taking
00:01:10.520 them over and over. I threw the script away. I mean, who is going to believe that crazy idea
00:01:17.780 being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day long. Anyway.
00:01:25.600 My favorite part of Woody Harrelson's bit, which is broadly this long drug joke,
00:01:31.820 but within it is this brutal joke about how COVID was just completely insane and bogus.
00:01:38.860 My favorite part was the audience reaction. Because later on they laugh, but in that little COVID bit,
00:01:45.040 they're almost totally silent. Liberal New Yorkers were trained for three years to take COVID super
00:01:52.300 duper seriously. Now it's being presented to them as a joke. Some of us knew from the beginning that
00:01:59.260 pretty much the whole thing was bogus, but they did not. And now we're finding out that the so-called
00:02:05.080 conspiracy theorists were right all along. That fact is so obvious that they are now joking about it
00:02:11.800 on Saturday Night Live. The ruling elite screwed up our lives over nothing. And in the audience's
00:02:18.240 defense, it's tough to accept that something we believe to be so serious was in fact a joke. And
00:02:24.600 the joke, of course, was on all of us. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:28.920 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is from the Darson, who says the
00:02:40.660 greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making women think their luggage never existed. You know,
00:02:46.680 almost. I would say that was the greatest trick that a sort of minor demon pulled. So maybe who
00:02:52.600 worked in the Biden administration, but not the devil himself, just one of those sort of lesser
00:02:57.840 lesser demons, devils running around out there. When you want to stay alert, and I recommend you
00:03:04.720 do, especially when you're going through the airport, then you got to check out Black Rifle

00:03:18.620 the guys at Black Rifle Coffee are hyper-focused and hyper-vigilant in everything they do. Lucky for you,
00:03:24.080 they're obsessed with making great coffee because every great adventure starts with a great cup of
00:03:29.260 coffee. They serve great coffee to folks who love America, and that's the start and end of it.
00:03:34.060 More than just making great coffee, Black Rifle Coffee's missionary goal is to give back to
00:03:38.220 Americans who have fought and are fighting for freedom in this country. They want to sell enough
00:03:42.180 premium coffee to be able to build a support network for veterans, first responders, and law

00:04:15.000 I loved Woody Harrelson's bit. You see how he sets it up there. He's giving himself runway with
00:04:21.140 the audience, which is much more liberal than he is. But Woody Harrelson has cred on both sides of
00:04:26.460 the aisle because, as he says, he's a redneck hippie. So he's kind of a right winger, he's kind
00:04:31.600 of a left winger. Woody Harrelson is in many ways your average voter. That's why it matters that Woody
00:04:40.720 Harrelson is making jokes about COVID now. I think this is insane. The drug companies,
00:04:46.960 they have so much control over the media, so much control over the government. They get special
00:04:51.800 legal protections. They lock us all up and say the only way you can leave your house is if you
00:04:55.380 take our drug again and again and again. That's kind of crazy, isn't it?
00:05:00.040 People like Woody Harrelson or Joe Rogan or Elon Musk or people who are, they're not right-wingers
00:05:07.220 exactly, but they're not leftist liberals. They represent, I think, the average voter.
00:05:16.880 And so when the libs lose those guys, that is really, really dangerous for them in the elections.
00:05:23.380 Why do people joke about this now? The reason that people are joking about COVID is because
00:05:29.300 another government agency just concluded that a lot of what we were told about COVID was fake.
00:05:34.380 The Energy Department, with its network of US national laboratories, just revised its assessment
00:05:40.680 to say, with low confidence, but nevertheless, they're saying this, that the pandemic very likely
00:05:46.860 began with a lab leak. Remember, the first story we told was that the pandemic began with a bad batch
00:05:54.440 of bat soup at a Wuhan wet market that just coincidentally was right down the street from a
00:05:58.580 bio lab, but pay no attention to that. That's a crazy conspiracy theory. Already, we've got the
00:06:04.380 National Intelligence Council and four agencies, four other agencies that the Wall Street Journal
00:06:09.920 refuses to identify, still believes with low confidence in the natural emergence theory,
00:06:15.820 the Wuhan wet market theory. The FBI said two years ago now with moderate confidence that it probably
00:06:21.480 began with the lab leak. The CIA and two other agencies still have not quite made a determination,
00:06:26.500 but I think we see which way this is trending. Okay, that conspiracy theory that some people were
00:06:35.860 talking about in 2020, every single day that goes by seems to seem less fantastical and more and more
00:06:43.200 correct. Because as many of us have noted before, the difference between a conspiracy theory and the
00:06:48.680 truth these days is about six to 12 months. Now, Apoorva Mandavili, who is a writer with the New York
00:06:56.660 Times, she tweeted out in 2021. She said, someday, we will stop talking about the lab leak theory and
00:07:04.140 maybe even admit its racist roots. But alas, that day is not yet here. That was two years ago. Two years
00:07:11.800 later, the theory is almost entirely vindicated. All the authorities on this are leaning in that
00:07:18.500 direction. New York Times looks ridiculous, as it always does. So we can say, good, we were right.
00:07:24.280 We were right. Watching the Woody Harrelson monologue, we can say, oh, good, we were right.
00:07:28.780 Watching the shift in public opinion, watching the way that people contracted the virus, watching the
00:07:34.680 efficacy of the masks and the vaccines, all the studies that are coming out now showing that perhaps
00:07:38.740 the vaccines were not quite so effective as we were told they were. In fact, a major study we talked
00:07:42.520 about last week showing they weren't effective at all. The vaccine mandates, citywide, not effective
00:07:48.840 at all, according to a study that we also cited last week. So we can say we were right. It's not
00:07:53.580 enough to be right. It is not enough to be right. Because you know what's going to happen to Apoorva
00:07:59.760 Mandavili at the New York Times, who got the lab leak theory totally wrong, it would seem?
00:08:03.980 Nothing's going to happen to her. Do you know what's going to happen to the companies that
00:08:08.480 fired employees for not taking the Fauci ouchie, for the government bureaucrats fired people for
00:08:13.300 not taking that Fauci ouchie, for the public officials who lied to us or at least were
00:08:18.880 incompetent enough to get the whole pandemic wrong, but who also lied to us? You know what's
00:08:24.640 going to happen to them? Probably nothing. It's not enough to be right. Because we're right now,
00:08:29.220 we've been right in the past, we're always right. But they're just going to pull another trick in six
00:08:34.440 months or a year. And we're going to be right again, and they're going to be wrong, and it's
00:08:38.720 not going to matter because they're going to have the power. So what we have to do is hold people to
00:08:42.500 account. Last year, during the midterm elections, I jokingly suggested something called the Michael
00:08:48.920 Knowles Public Health Protection Pledge. And it said that I won't vote for anybody in a federal
00:08:53.580 election who doesn't promise to zero out Dr. Fauci's salary and investigate him. And Rand Paul
00:09:02.040 at that same time was going after Dr. Fauci pretty hard. Representative Paul Gosar actually entered in
00:09:07.340 my public health protection pledge as a congressional resolution, started to pick up among some
00:09:12.180 candidates. And once the polls started to look as though the Republicans were going to retake the
00:09:16.960 House, what did Dr. Fauci say? He said, peace, see you later, I'm out of here.
00:09:21.120 I don't, because even beyond what I was saying on the podcast, even beyond what Rand Paul was saying
00:09:26.060 on the floor of the Senate, it was pretty clear that the Republicans had this guy in their sights.
00:09:31.640 And so Fauci said, okay, I want to leave. And he admitted he was leaving in part because he thought
00:09:35.980 that would take some of the political pressure off. There are going to be a lot of Republicans
00:09:39.020 who say, okay, Fauci's old news. The pandemic was three years ago. Let's just move on.
00:09:43.320 Don't move on. You have to hold these people to account. If you don't drag Fauci before Congress,
00:09:48.680 if you don't go after him for perjuring himself, which he certainly did, if you don't go after the
00:09:55.360 other people who lied to us about COVID and screwed up everybody's lives for three years,
00:09:59.440 they're just going to do it again. You can't just say, let bygones be bygones.
00:10:05.200 They're already setting up the stage for the next big political power grab. Don't let them get away
00:10:11.740 with this. You've got to teach them that there are consequences. Speaking of holding people to
00:10:16.640 account, wonderful story out of Florida yesterday, which is that they executed a murderer.
00:10:23.100 Governor Ron DeSantis refused to pardon this guy. His name is Donald Dilbeck, career criminal,
00:10:31.260 and he was executed. This is a guy who was convicted of the 1990 murder of a woman,
00:10:38.520 Faye Lamb van, a mother in a Tallassee Mall parking lot. And he was only able to murder her
00:10:46.140 because he had escaped from prison where he was at the time serving a life sentence for killing a
00:10:50.760 sheriff's deputy in 1979. This is a bad, bad dude. Now, this was the first execution in Florida in more
00:11:00.040 than three years. It was the 100th execution since the Supreme Court allowed the practice to resume in
00:11:06.400 1975. And Ron DeSantis is going pretty hard after this. He's been a tough law and order kind of
00:11:13.560 governor. And he's saying, well, if you kill somebody, we're going to kill you back.
00:11:17.940 The final words of this man, Donald Dilbeck, are what really, to me, tell the whole story.
00:11:26.900 So after the family of the woman that he murdered wrote, they said, 11,932 days ago,
00:11:32.860 Donald Dilbeck brutally killed our mother. We were robbed of years of memories with her,
00:11:36.640 and it has been very painful ever since. However, the execution has given us some closure.
00:11:40.460 We're grateful to Governor DeSantis for carrying out the sentence.
00:11:43.460 What were the final words of this murderer? He said, I know I hurt people when I was young. I
00:11:48.260 really messed up, but I know Ron DeSantis has done a lot worse. He's done a lot worse than murdered
00:11:52.600 two people, one of whom was a mother. He's taken a lot from a lot of people. I speak for all men,
00:11:56.960 women, and children. He's put his foot on our necks. Ron DeSantis and other people like him
00:12:01.880 can suck our, that he names an appendage, which I won't name. Those are his final words. Ron DeSantis
00:12:09.240 can suck my appendage. And my conclusion from that is, this guy didn't learn anything.
00:12:18.800 This murderer, this double murderer, guy who kills a mother in cold blood in a parking lot,
00:12:24.260 32 and a half years he was in prison. He didn't learn anything.
00:12:29.600 One of the arguments against the death penalty is, we need to give these guys time to change their
00:12:35.400 mind, to repent, to rehabilitate. First of all, hanging concentrates the mind. I sometimes think
00:12:41.440 a shorter time scale to consider repentance is better than a longer one. But even look at the
00:12:46.900 long one, 32 and a half years wasn't enough to change this guy's mind. Those are the final words
00:12:50.740 he wants to go out on. Doesn't learn a damn thing in prison. Doesn't seem to have any remorse whatsoever.
00:12:57.100 See you, buddy. The civil authority does not wield the sword in vain. And people need to know,
00:13:02.820 the public needs to know that there are consequences to bad actions. This is basic incentives. If you don't
00:13:09.560 punish bad behavior, you're going to get more bad behavior. If you don't reward good behavior,
00:13:15.600 then you're less likely to get more of that good behavior. Basic incentives. And some of those basic
00:13:21.000 government incentives include the noose, or in this case, the lethal injection. You too will die
00:13:27.540 someday. That's why you need to check out Epic Will. Right now, go to epicwill.com. Use promo code
00:13:32.320 Knowles. According to a recent poll, 62% of Americans who think about their own death a lot of the time do not
00:13:38.260 have a will. Seems kind of strange, doesn't it? It's a little like being afraid your house will burn down,
00:13:43.840 but not having homeowner's insurance. Or being afraid of drowning, but refusing to wear a life
00:13:49.140 jacket. A will protects your wishes and your family, should something happen to you. When you
00:13:54.480 have one, you have peace of mind because you know you've done your best to protect the ones you care
00:14:00.160 about. I cannot stress enough how important it is to write a will. And Epic Will is here to get you
00:14:06.880 started. For just $119 and in as little as five minutes, Epic Will can help you create your last
00:14:13.060 will and testament, living will, and even health care power of attorney. Their step-by-step online
00:14:16.740 form makes it super easy. All you've got to do is fill in the blanks. Do it now. I put off getting
00:14:21.020 my will for so long, and I wouldn't have known what would happen to my money or my stuff, or most
00:14:25.080 importantly, my kids. So now it's squared away. Go to epicwill.com. Be like me. Use promo code Knowles

00:14:37.420 Forget for a moment Ron DeSantis, who's done a great job on crime and law and order down in Florida.
00:14:43.760 Let's turn it up a notch a little bit. Let's take a look down at El Salvador. El Salvador,
00:14:49.440 not known for being the safest place in the world. Probably not where you want to go honeymoon. And
00:14:55.080 yet, El Salvador has had, it's a miracle political program. Over the last couple of years, El Salvador's
00:15:04.060 murder rate has plummeted by 50%. El Salvador, with a new president, President Naib Bukili,
00:15:14.020 has had its murder rate tumble 56.8% in 2022 alone. How did El Salvador do that?
00:15:25.280 It wanted to do that. It wanted to fix the murder problem. It mustered the political will to do it.
00:15:34.740 And then the president, effecting this policy, sent in troops to go round up MS-13 like the animals
00:15:44.720 that they are. They just released a propaganda video. It's an amazing propaganda video.
00:15:48.660 So you see the MS-13 gangsters in this prison, this supermax prison. Do we have the clip?
00:15:55.720 You've got these MS-13 gangsters. They've got their heads down. They're all crouched over. They
00:16:06.680 look like insects. So they're all tatted up in green. They've got their heads down below their
00:16:11.960 hands. The guards all have black masks on, presumably because the guards don't want MS-13
00:16:17.360 to go murder all their families. They're just standing in their boxer shorts. The reason,
00:16:21.900 by the way, that they're shirtless, I think, is to show that they're all just tatted up in all this
00:16:25.020 green, sometimes occult imagery. If demons were incarnate, it would be these guys. And yet,
00:16:34.580 when they're outside the clink, they look so tough, right? That people are encouraged to join these
00:16:39.480 types of gangs because they think it'll get them money and women and status. And yet,
00:16:45.340 what the president has done here is cram them all into this extremely high security prison,
00:16:51.060 round them up like animals. I think he rounded up something like 65,000 of these criminals,
00:16:58.480 threw them all in prison. And then he didn't just stop there. He created a very slick,
00:17:04.180 highly produced propaganda video humiliating them. And then he put that out there for all the world to
00:17:11.520 see. We need to learn from El Salvador. Never thought I would say that sentence. But we in the United
00:17:18.160 States need to follow the lead of the government of El Salvador. We need to be clear that if you
00:17:25.880 commit crimes, you will be punished for it. There's really basic stuff that we all used to know.
00:17:30.040 One of the arguments against capital punishment is that it doesn't actually deter crime. And the
00:17:37.060 studies that suggest it doesn't actually deter crime are a little bit suspect. But let's take them
00:17:41.580 at face value. Let's say it's true that capital punishment today does not really deter crime.
00:17:47.540 What would the surprise be there? We don't really carry out capital punishment. The way it's carried
00:17:52.280 out is completely haphazard. Most of the time, some lib governor will just let everybody off the hook.
00:17:57.880 Or some court will pretend like capital punishment is cruel and unusual punishment. It's neither.
00:18:04.120 And so even if there is a conviction for capital punishment, it's not going to deter crime because
00:18:09.180 people don't believe that they're actually going to carry it out. If you had a country right now
00:18:14.000 where the president attended a capital punishment, let's say there were capital punishment at the
00:18:20.560 federal level, a federal inmate is going to be executed. And the president not only didn't grant
00:18:25.460 clemency, but showed up as the face of justice in America, that would do a lot to deter crime.
00:18:32.900 And what the libs and the squishes would say is they would say, this is,
00:18:37.220 this is cruel. This is inhumane. This is authoritarian. It's authoritarian. That's what
00:18:44.300 they are saying. In fact, the New Yorker says the rise of naive Bukili's El Salvador's authoritarian
00:18:52.680 president. Oh, he's so, it's a repressive crackdown. Listen to what they say. They say,
00:18:58.860 the budding strongman has ridden Bitcoin schemes and a repressive crackdown on gangs
00:19:05.480 to become Latin America's most popular leader. Can you be repressive against gangs?
00:19:15.440 I guess, I guess so. I guess you can repress the gangs, but that seems like that is actually
00:19:21.400 liberative of the people. It's not repressive on the people. When you, when you go after these
00:19:26.860 criminals, when you go after these gangsters, it represses that group, and it frees the other
00:19:34.300 group. That's why he's Latin America's most popular leader. It's authoritarian. He's wielding
00:19:41.520 authority to do good, to get the bad guys and to help the good guys. We should be doing that too.
00:19:48.420 I mentioned on the show a week or two ago, I said, there are two words. You got to write them down.
00:19:53.180 If you're driving, wait until you pull over. I don't want you to get in a car accident.
00:19:55.940 The two, the two phrases you've got to write down are big government and authoritarian.
00:20:02.300 Those are words that today don't mean anything. Authoritarian is just a word that the liberals use
00:20:08.120 when conservatives wield political power ever. We should be doing that. We should do that a lot
00:20:13.120 more. We should take some real lessons from Naib Bukili. I'm sure I'm mispronouncing his name.
00:20:18.980 What he is showing us is that the law is a teacher. We've known this all the way back to the ancient
00:20:25.420 Greeks. The law is a teacher. We on the American right, we like to say politics is downstream of
00:20:31.980 culture. That is true to a certain extent. The movies affect the government in the way that law
00:20:37.940 is made. No question about it. I think Daily Wire has actually shown that pretty clearly in the battle
00:20:42.440 over transgenderism, among other battles. But the law also affects politics, and the law is also a
00:20:48.020 teacher. And when the law sends an army to your door and rounds up your gang like the animals that
00:20:56.280 they are, you're going to get fewer gangsters, and they're going to commit fewer crimes. And that's
00:21:01.880 going to change the culture, and that's a good thing. Speaking of the law as a teacher, great new
00:21:06.680 law in Kansas. Kansas has become the first state to pass a bill that defines woman as someone who is
00:21:15.120 biologically born female. That's it. That's what a woman is, which means that this will ban
00:21:23.440 men who identify as transgender women from using single sex areas designated for women. It's called
00:21:31.200 the Women's Bill of Rights. It was approved by legislators 26 to 10 on Thursday. Only Republicans
00:21:36.820 support there. And the bill defines a female as someone, quote, whose biological reproductive system
00:21:42.840 is developed to produce ova, while male refers to anyone whose reproductive system, quote, is developed
00:21:48.900 to fertilize the ova of a female. This is a beautiful bill because it doesn't just say don't trans the
00:21:58.320 kids. It doesn't just say wait till eight to introduce kids to transgenderism in schools. Once
00:22:04.420 they turn nine, that's fine. It doesn't just say only minors can't. It bans transgenderism for all
00:22:11.260 practical purposes in the state, for everybody. And it has to. In order for women to have the right
00:22:18.180 to have their own bathrooms, you have to ban transgenderism entirely. You can't just ban it
00:22:24.400 for the kids. It's got to be entirely. In order for women to be able to have their own locker rooms at
00:22:28.320 the gym, you have to ban transgenderism entirely in order to protect businesses from having to participate
00:22:35.560 in weird, occult sexual rituals like the transgender transition. You have to ban transgenderism entirely.
00:22:46.280 I love this bill because it is so much more aggressive than the other bills we've seen.
00:22:53.180 I don't mean to knock the other governors and the other state houses. They've done a great job
00:22:56.080 laying the groundwork, but this bill goes much further. And it reminds us of a truth in politics
00:23:03.220 that Republicans all too often forget. You're either on offense or you're on defense.
00:23:10.540 You're either making gains in the culture or you're losing ground in the culture. There's
00:23:15.340 no standing still. There's no status quo. There's no neutrality. And what the conservatives have screwed
00:23:20.080 up on for at least 50 years now, probably more, is the libs make some crazy aggressive play,
00:23:25.780 and then we try to dial it back by about 5% to 10%. Or worse, we try to slow it down
00:23:32.340 by about 5% to 10%. So the libs attack the family through feminism, the fundamental political
00:23:40.580 institution. They claim that men and women are basically the same. That takes the culture pretty
00:23:46.940 far to the left. And then conservatives try to inch it back a little bit, but by the time they're even
00:23:52.680 thinking about inching it back, the libs push forward with the normalization of other sexual
00:23:56.720 practices, gay rights, among other things. And then, oh, by the time the conservatives are trying
00:24:01.320 to dial that back, the libs, they've lurched much further to the left. They're trying to redefine
00:24:05.240 marriage now. They say, redefine marriage? Well, I don't know. I guess we could come to some kind of
00:24:08.840 terms with a civil union. And by the time you say that, whoop, they've lurched even further to the
00:24:12.780 left. Now they're saying, actually, we've got transgenderism. Actually, now a man can become a woman.
00:24:17.520 A man can become a woman. Okay, but maybe we shouldn't do it tomorrow. By the time we say that,
00:24:22.100 whoop, oh my gosh, we're now, we're all the way off the screen. Because now they're trying to
00:24:25.880 trans the kids. And there are many conservatives now who are saying, look, if you want, if you're
00:24:29.860 a man and you want to put on a dress, that's fine, but just don't do it to children. Just don't make
00:24:33.020 me pay for it. No. The only way, even to stop there, even if all you want to do is stop where
00:24:40.180 we are right now, the only way to do that is to push so aggressively in the other direction that

00:26:04.360 The only way that we are going to score cultural wins and take back cultural ground
00:26:11.340 is to punish the people who have upended our culture so. It's, I think, the broad theme of
00:26:20.340 today's show. Punishment. I'm the punisher. Michael the Punisher Knowles over here looking to Ron DeSantis
00:26:27.220 and the president of El Salvador and the state house in Kansas to lead the way forward for the
00:26:32.780 nation. Looking also to Chloe Cole. Chloe Cole is a detransitioned 18-year-old woman.
00:26:39.800 She has just announced the first official lawsuit in the United States against the hospital and
00:26:45.280 affiliated medical group that facilitated her medical transition as a minor. Absolutely great news.
00:26:50.300 We saw a story similar to this about a couple of weeks ago in Canada. The first transgender
00:26:56.980 detransition person sued her doctors in Canada for transitioning her. I thought it was great at
00:27:03.400 the time. I said, we need this in the United States. Now we're seeing it. The Center for American
00:27:06.760 Liberty, along with the Dillon Law Group, our friend Harmeet Dillon and LaMandri and Jonah LLP have
00:27:13.760 filed lawsuit against the Permanente Medical Group, the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Kaiser
00:27:20.440 Foundation Hospitals, alleging medical negligence. That's the charge here. A confused kid goes up,
00:27:28.280 says, hey, I know I'm a girl, but I say that I'm a boy now, and therefore I want you to pump me full
00:27:33.360 of chemicals and mutilate me. Doctors, if they are following the Hippocratic Oath and acting in a way
00:27:40.220 that is medically responsible, will say, oh, no, you're not. No, you're not. Let's get you some
00:27:45.080 psychological help. Doctors who are negligent and perverse and incompetent or worse, they will say,
00:27:53.160 oh, yeah, I guess you're right. Yeah, you're a man, and coincidentally, we're going to recommend
00:27:58.060 surgeries and drugs that are very, very expensive and that you're going to be hooked on for the rest
00:28:02.240 of your life. Okay, get her over to the operating table. That's medical negligence. I know that some
00:28:07.960 conservatives are going to say, well, it's the individual's fault for demanding this perverse
00:28:13.100 treatment. Or in the case of minors, well, it's the parent's fault for taking the children to these
00:28:18.760 hospitals. Though increasingly, the parents don't have much say over it. The state is coming in and
00:28:23.360 enforcing these kinds of procedures. But it's the doctor's fault, too. The doctor should not be
00:28:29.140 performing these surgeries, and they should be held to account. They should lose their licenses,
00:28:32.880 and they should lose a lot of money. As Harmeet put it,
00:28:35.720 Chloe's family sought medical treatment for her. At Kaiser, her physicians and other medical
00:28:40.640 professionals violated the first norm of the profession, the Hippocratic Oath, when instead
00:28:45.120 of caring for her and providing medically competent diagnoses and treatment, they permanently disfigured
00:28:50.040 her for a pretty high profit. Because talk therapy with a psychologist, it's not cheap, but it's not
00:28:59.580 that expensive. Or telling a young person to maybe go talk to a priest, you know, maybe try to sort
00:29:07.440 things out spiritually. These are probably spiritual problems as well as psychological problems.
00:29:14.060 They don't make any money on that. But sending someone to get some of the most expensive treatments
00:29:19.380 on earth for the rest of their lives, that does make a profit. And I think it's a great angle to focus
00:29:22.860 on. And I think every other detransitioner who has experienced even the slightest pang of regret
00:29:27.520 should sue these people into the dirt. Speaking of holding bad actors to account,
00:29:34.980 Joe Biden is facing a lot of criticism because the president refuses to go to East Palestine,
00:29:43.240 Ohio. He was finally asked about this on ABC News. And the president said,
00:29:48.300 not only is he not going to go to East Palestine, he doesn't even really remember who he's talked to
00:29:53.120 over there. It's been three weeks now since the toxic train derailment in East Palestine,
00:29:59.720 Ohio, as you know. The mayor says he saw you in Ukraine. And he says, it tells you he doesn't
00:30:05.360 care about us. And they're asking, is the president coming to Ohio? Do you have any plan to travel to
00:30:12.240 Ohio? And have you talked with the mayor yet? Let's put this in perspective. Within two hours
00:30:18.260 of that derailment, the EPA was in there. Within two hours. Every major agency in the United States
00:30:25.400 government that had anything to do with rail and or cleanup was there and is there.
00:30:31.140 So do you plan to travel there and have you talked with the mayor?
00:30:33.700 I can't recall. I don't think I've talked to the mayor. I've talked to everyone else there and
00:30:37.820 multiple times. I've talked to both the senators, both governors. I've talked to everyone there is
00:30:44.140 to talk to. And we've made it clear that everything is available.
00:30:48.820 Yeah, but are you going to go? Why won't you answer that question?
00:30:53.460 Credit to David Muir here. He asks, are you going to go to East Palestine? But it says,
00:30:57.460 well, now listen here. Come on now, Jack. Come on. You're going to go get some mint chocolate chip,
00:31:01.540 take a swim down by the pool. 23 skidoo, Jack. He says, okay. But are you going to go to East
00:31:07.160 Palestine? Listen here, fat. I was talking to senators and I said, I said back when I was in
00:31:16.040 the swim pool back in Scranton. Mr. President? Hello, Mr. President? You're going to answer?
00:31:22.580 You're not going to answer. Because the answer is no. He is not going to go to East Palestine as of
00:31:28.820 today. And do you know why he can't go? It's not just that he's lazy. It's not just that he doesn't
00:31:33.940 like the people in Ohio. It's not just that he thinks they're deplorable, irredeemable flyover
00:31:37.620 people. He can't go because Trump went. He can't go because if he goes, he's going to look so weak.
00:31:47.860 He's going to look like Trump bullied him into going. He can't go because he knows the people
00:31:53.480 in East Palestine like Trump. They don't like Biden. The people in East Palestine are Republicans,
00:31:59.180 by and large, not Democrats. And even beyond partisanship, the people of East Palestine
00:32:05.760 rightly observe that the current president, Joe Biden, doesn't give a damn about them.
00:32:11.140 And Trump actually does seem to care. You can see it. It was the first moment of Trump's campaign
00:32:16.600 where I thought, man, he might be getting his mojo back. This is what I want to see from Trump.
00:32:21.540 I am one of the most sympathetic people in the media to President Trump's claims about the
00:32:29.280 shenanigans in the 2020 election. It's pretty clear that the Democrats rigged that election as
00:32:33.640 far as I'm concerned. It's pretty clear that they even violated state laws in some cases in the way
00:32:37.540 that they conducted their elections. So I'm as sympathetic as it gets to those claims. But
00:32:41.900 nobody wants to hear it. It's 2023. That's if Trump just campaigns on how the election was stolen from
00:32:48.600 him, no one's going to care, even if it's true. But if Trump campaigns on going to East Palestine,
00:32:54.540 eating McDonald's with people, making fun of Joe Biden, forcing Joe Biden to at least address the
00:33:01.680 issue, saying, where are you, Joe? Why won't you come down? That's the guy. That's the guy that you're
00:33:06.720 going to want to vote for. Another example. I know people always doubt Trump's political strategy.
00:33:12.460 I've thought that Trump is a pretty good political strategist. My evidence for this is
00:33:15.840 the man won the highest office in the land the first time he ever officially ran for it.
00:33:21.680 He kind of teased a campaign in 2000, but the first time he really ran,
00:33:26.380 he didn't win mayor, he didn't win congressman, he didn't win senator. He won the highest office
00:33:30.480 in the land. The guy probably knows a thing or two about politics. And the strategy here was really,
00:33:35.380 really smart. Or at least, even if it wasn't conscious, the effect of it is really, really smart.
00:33:40.560 Right now, Biden is in a lose-lose. He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
00:33:43.800 If he goes to East Palestine, he looks like a jerk. If he doesn't go to East Palestine,
00:33:47.700 he looks like a jerk. And the reason for that is he is a jerk. So it's a good strategy because it
00:33:52.680 shows us the truth. Now, what is the federal government doing with regard to East Palestine?
00:33:57.720 The federal government finally has ordered a halt to the cleanup. Because you know how this
00:34:05.260 administration works. The administration allows problems to fester, not just on transportation,
00:34:13.140 but on crime, on immigration, on international affairs, on everything. They just allow problems
00:34:21.060 to fester and they get really, really bad. And then you get some catastrophic event like you saw
00:34:25.000 with the train derailment in Ohio. And then even if you don't want to blame the administration and
00:34:29.580 say it's entirely their fault for how the train derailed, okay, that's fine. It's not entirely
00:34:34.400 their fault. But then what happens? The cleanup starts to create even more problems. There were
00:34:41.340 questions raised about why did Norfolk Southern have to burn off all of those toxic chemicals and
00:34:47.840 send a mushroom clad of poison into the air? Well, they said, because one of the cars might have
00:34:52.500 exploded. There was a problem with one of the cars. Okay, why did you burn off the chemicals in five
00:34:59.060 cars? Well, you know, there was a problem in a second car. Okay, but there weren't problems in
00:35:03.500 all of these cars. And so in some cases, couldn't you have contained the chemicals? Did you have to
00:35:07.280 burn all of them off? Polluting the air, giving the residents of East Palestine all sorts of
00:35:11.620 terrible rashes and coughs and ailments, apparently compromising the drinking water. It remains
00:35:17.560 unclear how compromised that drinking water is. But a lot of the water intake facilities nearby are
00:35:22.980 turning off East Palestine. They say, no, we don't want any water that's anywhere near East
00:35:27.340 Palestine. They don't trust the water there. And now what about all the poison dirt? What about all
00:35:34.240 of the debris from this derailment? Where is it going? Well, apparently it's been going all over
00:35:39.680 the place. Officials in Texas and Michigan have said that they are now receiving the debris from
00:35:47.800 the derailment and they're getting tainted soil and they're getting tainted water. Millions of gallons
00:35:53.500 of water used to douse fires at that site have been brought into their states without full
00:35:58.400 disclosure. So they wake up one day in Texas and Michigan. They say, wait, why are you sending
00:36:03.160 your poison over here, federal government? How is it that you can take a bad situation and just
00:36:07.720 make it worse by the day and have no accountability for it at all? Ohio officials say that 20 truckloads
00:36:16.080 of contaminated soil have been hauled away from the site. Some 15 truckloads were taken to a licensed
00:36:21.220 hazardous waste facility in Belleville, Michigan. Five were then sent back to East Palestine. What
00:36:27.280 is this all about? Why is this so incompetent? And why was it all burned off? I don't want to sound
00:36:32.120 like a crazy conspiracy theorist, but given how conspiracy theories have been basically,
00:36:39.180 almost all of them vindicated in the last three years, I guess we have to entertain them. I told you,
00:36:43.320 I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I am a coincidence noticer. I have to ask, is maybe one of the
00:36:50.640 potential explanations for the massive burn off of chemicals that many experts have said was
00:36:57.280 imprudent and unnecessary, is maybe one of the explanations for Norfolk Southern just secretly
00:37:03.220 hauling off without full disclosure the waste to these other places? Are they maybe covering something
00:37:09.240 up? Is there something here that we haven't quite seen? So I'm glad to see the EPA finally has come
00:37:14.360 down and said, hey, we're going to halt this. We're going to halt this cleanup until we can figure out
00:37:18.700 what the hell is going on. Wish that they would have figured that one out three weeks ago.

00:38:22.640 Speaking of Joe Biden covering things up, Joe Biden's got another scandal on his hands, which is that
00:38:29.520 shortly after haranguing Donald Trump for allegedly holding classified documents improperly at his
00:38:38.600 home, Joe Biden was discovered to be improperly holding classified documents at his home, at one of
00:38:45.620 his offices, documents dating back not just to his presidency when he would have had the authority to
00:38:51.460 declassify the documents, but to his vice presidency, potentially to his Senate days. Guys got classified
00:38:56.980 documents everywhere. Apparently he left some of them in a box next to his Corvette that his
00:39:00.660 degenerate son was driving. Oh, that's good. Hunter Biden, who makes pretty much all of his money on
00:39:06.660 corruption and specifically corruption, selling his father's influence to foreign actors in Ukraine
00:39:12.440 and in China when Joe Biden was vice president. Yeah, that guy just was just tooling around in the
00:39:18.520 vet right next to all those classified documents. So Joe Biden was just asked about this also by David
00:39:23.500 Muir on ABC News. He was asked, what's the difference between what Trump did and what you
00:39:29.760 did? Here's the answer. But I do remember something you said after the discovery at Mar-a-Lago. You said,
00:39:36.200 I thought data that was in there may compromise sources and methods and names of people who help,
00:39:41.440 and it's just totally irresponsible. Can you assure the American people that none of the documents
00:39:47.920 discovered in your garage or at your old office compromised sources or methods or U.S. intelligence?
00:39:54.180 I've been advised by the council, let the Justice Department make that decision.
00:40:00.300 They also saw you, though, comment on former President Trump. And so at the very least...
00:40:04.060 Because look, here's what they were showing. You guys were showing on television
00:40:08.180 things lying on the ground and said top secret. NASA, you know, code word. And the difference is
00:40:15.520 every single solitary thing I've been asked to do, I've done voluntarily. You're trying to make a
00:40:20.240 comparison. There's degrees of irresponsibility that can be significant degrees of responsibility.
00:40:30.540 So his defense is, look, there's different degrees of responsibility, and that's true.
00:40:35.600 But the different degrees all favor Trump. Trump had the right to declassify any documents he wanted.
00:40:41.900 He didn't have to follow any particular procedure to do it. He could have done it in his head.
00:40:45.520 The President of the United States is not responsible to any bureaucrat when it comes
00:40:50.480 to declassifying documents. Joe Biden, when he took those documents, did not have any such right.
00:40:57.080 So the different degrees of responsibility here is Joe Biden had a far greater responsibility to
00:41:01.760 handle these documents with care, and he violated that responsibility in a far more egregious way.
00:41:08.020 And he knows it. That's why even Joe Biden, who doesn't remember what end is up,
00:41:12.160 was impelled to answer at the top of that question. He said, I've been advised by the
00:41:18.040 council not to say anything, because obviously they've got me dead to rights. I doubt anything
00:41:22.300 is going to happen as a result of it. I doubt he's going to be held to account. I'm sure we're
00:41:28.580 going to see more of this corruption from the Democrats, because when you don't punish bad
00:41:31.400 behavior, then you're going to get more of it. But he's at least admitting, at least implicitly,
00:41:38.760 that what he did was a lot worse. Speaking of leaders, there is a kid. He went a little bit
00:41:45.700 viral over the weekend. I want to make him go much more viral. I am so impressed with this kid.
00:41:50.300 He was a freshman at a liberal high school. And I'm sure that his school is a lot like your school.
00:42:00.660 I'm sure that his school is a lot like schools all around the country. Liberal, racist, sexist,
00:42:09.460 and in all the opposite ways that we're told that the public institutions are.
00:42:14.100 And he said enough. And he showed up to his school board, and he gave an oratory worthy of
00:42:22.220 at least getting him elected to Congress, if not president, already at the age of 14. Take a listen.
00:42:27.800 Hi, my name is Brad Taylor, and I just finished my freshman year at RHS. I've been a part of District
00:42:33.220 196 schools now for 10 years, and I'm going to give you a glimpse today of what's actually going on
00:42:38.080 inside these schools. Despite the board's attempt to deny it, District 196 schools are quickly
00:42:43.200 becoming a place where promoting activism is actually more important than promoting education.
00:42:49.080 I'll take you back to my first day at RHS this fall. The principal came out and gave us a heartfelt
00:42:55.320 speech about equality and standing together. He began to list countless races, such as Latino,
00:43:02.400 Asian, expressing how much they matter and how important they are. But never once did he mention
00:43:06.900 a race or identity that reflects me, or half the kids that were in the class. My honors government
00:43:12.040 teacher, I'm not going to say his name, but he's mentioned that Democrats care more about all
00:43:16.180 people while Republicans only care about themselves. And he's also inferred to us that socialism is
00:43:21.980 better than democracy. He even had a statue of a socialist leader in his classroom. I've been
00:43:27.260 approached by multiple teachers who have told me in private that they just want to say that they
00:43:30.600 agree with me, and they support me standing up, but they can't stand in front of the class for fear
00:43:34.120 of being disciplined by the administration in some way or losing their jobs. Now, due to all these
00:43:39.280 instances I've mentioned and many more that I can't fit in this five-minute speech, I've decided
00:43:43.760 to leave this district and continue school on a private Christian school online. But I will never
00:43:48.900 stop believing that everybody has value, no matter their skin color or personal beliefs. And it's a
00:43:53.620 shame that you're not going to be able to say that I was an alumni of RHS in District 196. Thank you.
00:43:59.560 Preach! Preach, man! Man, what can this kid run for? What is he, 15? He just finished his
00:44:05.260 freshman year in high school. I guess it's a little too young for Congress, but let me know when you're
00:44:10.860 ready to run, kid. I can't wait to donate. I can't wait to go vote. Beautiful. That kid showing more
00:44:17.540 clarity and maturity and courage than not only any other student at the school, any teacher at the
00:44:26.320 school. He's saying, the teachers come up to me, they say, you're right, I agree with you, but I don't
00:44:30.440 want to lose my job. How sad is that? You're going to say, hey, you, 15-year-old, thanks for doing
00:44:36.300 what I, a grown adult, am unwilling to do. Love it. And it presents a political opportunity for
00:44:43.160 Republicans. We have control of a lot of states around the country right now. This is a great
00:44:48.220 opportunity to push school choice. And why should we push school choice? Because the Democrats rely on
00:44:56.320 the schools as a major power center. School choice is the easiest way to weaken their grip on that
00:45:03.200 power. And it's a very powerful power center because classrooms are crystal balls that show
00:45:07.680 you what your country is going to look like in 20 years. Shapes the very malleable minds of little
00:45:12.320 kids. School choice is the biggest threat to that. I've been mentioning it in my new state of Tennessee,
00:45:18.880 which I love so much. This would be a great opportunity. The governor campaigned on school choice.
00:45:23.220 He's obviously very supportive of it. We've got, I don't know, like three Democrats in the whole
00:45:27.740 legislature. The Republicans outnumber the Democrats three to one, four to one in the House and the
00:45:32.340 Senate. Let's get it done, guys. This is a great opportunity. You have to be on the offense or you
00:45:38.140 will be on the defense. It's like a business. Anyone who's ever run a business or worked for a business,
00:45:43.180 for that matter, will know that a business is either growing or dying. Businesses don't just stay the
00:45:50.340 same, though. It doesn't work that way. You've got to be growing or dying. You've got to be moving
00:45:55.700 forward or you're going to be pushed backward. So let's do it. While we've got power, let's just put
00:46:01.240 that pedal to the metal and let's give more kids the opportunity that this young man has
00:46:06.320 to go pursue more edifying educational opportunities. And perhaps even more important,
00:46:13.140 weaken the stranglehold of these crazy libs that they have on public education so that we can
00:46:20.320 create better schools in the future so that we can go back, get a little more power in public education
00:46:26.060 and turn it toward the good, the true and the beautiful, not the ugly, the false and the wicked
00:46:31.600 as it is now. Speaking of young people, really disturbing story from Paris Hilton. I haven't thought
00:46:40.120 about Paris Hilton in a long time. Paris Hilton, I guess she was sort of eclipsed by Kim Kardashian
00:46:46.100 and Kim Kardashian continues to have a bad effect on her and on the culture because Kim Kardashian
00:46:50.940 apparently encouraged Paris Hilton to engage in IVF. And IVF is a controversial issue even among
00:46:57.380 pro-lifers because many people who oppose abortion, who are pro-life, they will still be in favor of IVF.
00:47:04.480 And one of the reasons for this is that there are many people out there who would not have their
00:47:09.100 children without IVF. And so they say, well, if this process gave me my child, whom I love so,
00:47:15.440 then it has to be a good process. And no one is doubting that your child is great and that you
00:47:21.560 having a child is a great thing. But good ends do not justify immoral means. We're not Machiavellians
00:47:28.960 here. We're not utilitarians here. We're not consequentialists here. We're conservatives.
00:47:32.560 We believe that the morality of actions depends upon the action itself. And in this case, the way
00:47:41.880 that Paris Hilton has done it really shows you how morally problematic IVF is because Paris Hilton now
00:47:48.800 has 20 children. I don't think she has any children that have been born, but she has 20 frozen embryos.
00:47:55.400 Why does she have 20? Why has she so irresponsibly created 20 unique human beings and then just
00:48:00.820 shoved them all in a freezer? Well, because she keeps getting boys and she doesn't want boys.
00:48:06.200 She wants girls. So she's just going to keep trying IVF. She's got unlimited money. So she's just going
00:48:12.180 to engage in IVF until she gets a girl. And the doctors, I think, are more than happy to do it. It's a
00:48:18.220 very expensive process. Doctors are more than happy to trans the kids. It's a very expensive process.
00:48:23.940 Doctors are more than happy to engage in IVF. It'll make them a lot of money.
00:48:28.420 So who knows that maybe Paris will get 25 of her sons frozen forever or 30 or 35 until she gets a
00:48:35.440 girl. She says she's waiting for that girl. Now, obviously, if it were reversed and you saw someone
00:48:40.800 say, yeah, I'm putting all the girls in a freezer until I get a boy. I really want a boy. You'd have
00:48:44.320 the feminists screaming and crying and say, this is sexist and terrible and eugenics. But because it's a
00:48:50.120 boy and boys are castigated by the culture, they don't want to say that. Because boys are toxic.
00:48:57.140 Masculinity is evil and toxic. We have to get rid of it. That is really evil stuff.
00:49:02.560 And why is she doing IVF in the first place? She says, I'm just so scared.
00:49:06.420 I think, again, leading back to Provo of being in a doctor's office, all of that, the shots,
00:49:11.140 the IVs that they put in. She says she was traumatized when she was in a room when a woman
00:49:17.140 was giving birth when she was doing her reality TV show, The Simple Life. So it's not even that
00:49:22.120 she's saying she doesn't want to give birth or try the natural way because of some medical condition
00:49:27.540 or because of some personal trauma. It's just because it seems kind of icky to her. She doesn't
00:49:31.740 want to have to do it. So she's going to have it done in test tubes, and then she'll rent out the
00:49:35.160 womb of some poor woman and inject it into her. And then maybe then that woman will give birth to her
00:49:41.260 child. But maybe she won't at all. She just keeps getting boys. She'll probably just leave them in the
00:49:45.660 freezer forever. Can anyone explain to me why this should not be illegal? I know that many people
00:49:54.160 are tempted to support IVF, especially if it's benefited you personally or a family member.
00:50:00.740 Does anybody seriously believe that this is okay? That this is morally right? That this is morally
00:50:06.860 acceptable at all? Putting souls on ice, real human beings, and for your own children because you don't
00:50:12.860 like boys. Imagine if one of these boys is born and finds out, wait, my mom put me in a freezer
00:50:17.080 and created 20 of my siblings because she doesn't like boys that much? What's that going to do to
00:50:22.360 people's minds? I heard a story the other day of a transgender identifying person, man who wanted to
00:50:30.440 be a woman. And then he detransitioned. He no longer suffers from this delusion. But it turned out
00:50:36.480 one of the reasons for this delusion was that his father that he grew up with favored his sister and
00:50:42.700 not him. And so in his mind, it was implanted that if he wanted his father's love, he would have to be
00:50:47.900 a girl. Really basic kind of psychological complexes. Could you imagine that? You're one of
00:50:54.400 Paris Hilton's sons. You see this. You read about this. Tell me that this should not be illegal.
00:51:01.060 Tell me that it would be authoritarian or terrible or too much a use of big government to say,
00:51:05.800 hey, you're not allowed to make a bunch of kids and then throw them in a freezer forever.
00:51:08.980 No one, I don't think anyone can really do that. It's Music Monday, baby. We got to get on over to
00:51:12.680 the member block. Ben Davies has given me a song that he wants me to throw all of my pop culture
00:51:18.380 prowess onto. And I'm willing to do that. We will see you there. If you're not a member, why not?
