The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1329 - Lib Politician Makes A Living Doing Weird Sex Stuff

00:00:00.000 Financing your first home can feel overwhelming, but TD can help.

00:00:05.520 Request a calming call with TD Mortgage Direct and say hello to good advice.

00:00:14.560 A candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates has been discovered to have regularly streamed lots of weird sex stuff online for money.

00:00:23.300 And she didn't do it way back in her wayward youth many, many years ago.

00:00:27.560 She appears to have done it pretty recently and with her husband.

00:00:32.840 And we're not just talking about posing for Playboy. 0.97

00:00:35.560 We're talking about real, depraved, weird sex stuff. 0.84

00:00:39.800 Now, I am not going to say what those weird sex things are because this is a family show.

00:00:43.820 It's very wholesome.

00:00:44.920 I'm also not going to say her name because, one, it's ungentlemanly.

00:00:48.960 Two, I don't want to promote her porn business.

00:00:51.580 And three, I don't want to promote her campaign.

00:00:53.920 I actually don't know which of those last two would be worse.

00:00:57.560 Now, strange as the story is, the candidate's response to the revelation is somehow even stranger.

00:01:05.000 She is accusing the people who discovered her myriad porn videos of committing, quote, a sex crime to attack her and her family.

00:01:13.940 She says, quote, there is no line they won't cross to silence women when they speak up.

00:01:21.720 This is public porn.

00:01:23.520 This was not revenge porn.

00:01:25.900 This wasn't some private video or photos that some vindictive ex decided to publish later.

00:01:32.040 This was this woman's very public prostitution business. 1.00

00:01:36.640 Every single video and picture is something that she herself published to the Internet.

00:01:42.920 And the videos are not just a private matter.

00:01:45.880 They are politically relevant because they show that there is nothing that this woman won't do for money. 0.98

00:01:51.320 They show that there is no higher ideal that she serves beyond temporal pleasure and the almighty dollar.

00:01:57.860 You can't even say that she's got a higher ideal here of of upholding sex work as this this great ideal of individual self-expression or whatever, because she is rightly ashamed of the videos.

00:02:12.100 And she's furious that she now has to deal with the consequences of her public actions.

00:02:17.760 In other words, and I don't mean this as a cheap shot.

00:02:20.880 I mean this in a true philosophical sense.

00:02:24.980 This woman is the perfect liberal politician. 1.00

00:02:28.720 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:02:29.480 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:42.100 Welcome back to the show.

00:02:57.440 I had a delicious, juicy Good Ranchers steak just a few nights ago, and it was magnificent as always.

00:03:02.880 Go to GoodRanchers.com.

00:03:03.920 Use code Knowles today.

00:03:05.400 Okay, Apple, largest company on earth, is worshiping Mother Gaia in its new ad for the new big announcement of products.

00:03:16.800 We'll get to that in just a second.

00:03:19.180 First, though, we're going to get all the weird sex stuff out of the way early in the show.

00:03:23.060 Keep it wholesome around here, okay?

00:03:24.700 But I just can't move on so quickly from the world's two oldest professions just coming back together again.

00:03:33.320 And it's really not a cheap shot.

00:03:36.560 When I say this is the perfect liberal politician, this porn lady who is now furious that she has to deal with the consequences of her actions, I mean it in the real sense of liberalism.

00:03:47.240 The point of liberalism, classical liberalism, modern liberalism, is to do away with ordinary political battles.

00:03:55.320 The promise of liberalism when it came to the fore 300 years ago was that people are going to give up their deeply held belief.

00:04:03.780 They're going to give up wars of religion. 0.59

00:04:05.560 They're going to give up wars of ideology.

00:04:08.760 They're going to give up their petty differences.

00:04:11.900 And they're also going to give up their higher ideals.

00:04:14.220 They're going to give up a sense of glory and nobility and honor.

00:04:18.180 And what they're going to give all that up for is commerce, that we're going to have a pluralistic society where we're all members of different groups.

00:04:26.660 I've got an allegiance to my church.

00:04:28.300 I've got an allegiance to my bowling league.

00:04:30.240 I've got an allegiance to my job.

00:04:32.540 But we're not going to be too tied to any of those things.

00:04:36.980 We're just going to say that the only point of government is to allow us all to trade peacefully and accumulate private property and get more stuff.

00:04:45.720 And that's it.

00:04:46.440 And then if we want any meaning in our lives, that meaning is not going to be provided by the state.

00:04:50.460 That meaning is not going to be provided by the political community moving towards some goal or some conception of the good and the true and the beautiful.

00:04:58.680 We're just going to have to provide that for ourselves.

00:05:00.900 The only meaning we're going to find in our lives is individual self-expression.

00:05:05.760 Anything else would be authoritarian and repressive and regressive and very much not liberal.

00:05:10.900 That is what the liberal theorists themselves increasingly over time said.

00:05:17.480 And that's what this woman is doing. 1.00

00:05:19.440 She has taken this degradation of the higher ideals of politics and she's taken this exaltation of commerce and worshipping mammon to its logical conclusion. 0.85

00:05:30.180 And that is she's going to degrade herself into being a porn performer for basically no reason. 1.00

00:05:35.400 This woman's a nurse practitioner. 1.00

00:05:36.540 I think her husband's a lawyer.

00:05:37.660 I don't think they need the money.

00:05:38.900 It's not like they're trying to put a couple pennies together to buy a loaf of bread.

00:05:44.240 They just wanted to do this.

00:05:45.780 They have some weird fetish, I guess.

00:05:48.640 And they're willing to seduce men and run their pockets dry to make a few pennies. 1.00

00:05:57.860 This is going to happen a lot more often.

00:05:59.860 The other reason I mention this is not because of this house delegate race.

00:06:03.580 No one cares about that in Virginia.

00:06:05.660 It's because a lot of people have been suckered into this line of thinking to some degree or another.

00:06:12.120 To degrading themselves for money or for temporal pleasure.

00:06:15.780 To sending naked pictures of themselves to their boyfriend when they were 18 or something.

00:06:20.740 To doing OnlyFans.

00:06:22.620 To doing whatever website this lady was on. 1.00

00:06:25.060 To people.

00:06:25.960 We're in the internet age and we're in an age without the traditional moral strictures that have defined our civilization.

00:06:32.900 Which means you put those two ingredients together.

00:06:35.260 And we're in an age that does worship money.

00:06:37.060 So you put those three ingredients together.

00:06:40.260 There's a lot of dirt on people.

00:06:42.260 Okay. 0.99

00:06:42.640 And so we might say, wow, what a crazy wild candidate. 0.96

00:06:45.600 Expect more of this. 0.98

00:06:46.740 There are going to be more and more people who have done weird porn stuff who enter politics.

00:06:51.860 Because there's just a much larger percentage of the population that has grown up.

00:06:56.780 It's not even totally their fault.

00:06:57.920 Has grown up without the shame that was associated with this.

00:07:01.140 And with a lot more technological opportunity to do it.

00:07:03.760 Now, before we move on from weird sex stuff entirely.

00:07:06.340 We've got to switch political parties to Senator Kennedy.

00:07:09.520 One of the great figures.

00:07:11.080 Senator Foghorn Leghorn over at the Capitol.

00:07:14.380 Who, during a Senate hearing, reads one of the books that the liberals are so upset at having been banned from public schools.

00:07:26.060 You've heard this from the liberals.

00:07:27.740 Those conservatives.

00:07:29.820 Those authoritarians.

00:07:31.500 They're trying to ban books from our schools.

00:07:34.320 And that's why the children won't be exposed to these important works of literature.

00:07:38.780 Well, here are the important works of literature that the libs want to shove down your kid's throat.

00:07:42.600 All boys aren't blue.

00:07:47.820 And I will quote from it.

00:07:50.720 I put some lube on and got him on his knees. 0.99

00:07:55.660 And I began to s*** from behind. 1.00

00:08:00.640 I p***ed and kissed him while he p***ed. 1.00

00:08:06.000 He asked me to turn over while he s*** on himself. 1.00

00:08:10.360 This was my a*****. 0.99

00:08:14.140 And I was struggling to imagine someone a*****. 0.95

00:08:19.060 He got on top and slowly inserted a*****. 0.88

00:08:23.820 It was the worst pain I think I have ever felt in my life. 0.55

00:08:29.180 Eventually, I felt a mix of pleasure with the pain.

00:08:33.860 Close quote.

00:08:34.880 All boys aren't blue.

00:08:36.200 Yeah, I sort of wish my producers had bleeped out more of that.

00:08:39.620 That's unfortunate.

00:08:40.900 But I'm glad that we played it.

00:08:44.220 And I'm glad that Senator Kennedy read this.

00:08:48.700 The liberals, the best reaction here was from this liberal, Aaron Rupar, who's some lib journalist.

00:08:54.000 And he tweets that.

00:08:54.880 He goes, Senator John Kennedy having a very normal one during these Senate hearings.

00:08:59.160 And then he posts him reading this book.

00:09:02.920 Hold on.

00:09:03.720 You're making fun of John Kennedy.

00:09:05.860 You're saying it's inappropriate. 1.00

00:09:07.520 You're insinuating that it's inappropriate for John Kennedy to read this disgusting, perverted, sick, gay porn in the Senate. 1.00

00:09:14.820 The disgusting, perverted, sick, gay porn that you want to read to students, to minors. 1.00

00:09:23.680 That you are whining about being banned from schools. 1.00

00:09:27.320 This book, according to the publisher, is suitable for kids 15 years and up.

00:09:32.460 You think a 15-year-old should be reading that?

00:09:34.300 You think a 15-year-old should be reading that in school?

00:09:36.620 You think that only 15-year-olds are going to be reading that?

00:09:39.560 If you put a book like that in school, first of all, it's probably going to be assigned even at lower ages than that.

00:09:45.140 Did you ever watch a PG-13 movie before you were 13?

00:09:47.800 I think so.

00:09:49.820 Put it in the library of these schools.

00:09:51.880 There are going to be kids in that school who are 14 years old, 13 years old.

00:09:54.760 By the way, it's probably not only going to be in the high schools.

00:09:57.100 It's probably going to make it down to the middle schools.

00:09:59.160 Who knows how much lower it's going to get.

00:10:01.520 So why did Kennedy do this?

00:10:02.920 Why did I even play this disgusting clip on this show?

00:10:05.440 It was a trap that Kennedy was setting.

00:10:08.360 Kennedy read that book during the Senate hearing to get the Aaron Rupars of the world to say,

00:10:15.060 what the hell's wrong with you? 0.99

00:10:16.200 That's disgusting. 1.00

00:10:17.400 Exactly. 0.91

00:10:18.060 That is disgusting.

00:10:19.900 And what he's showing here, what Kennedy is showing here, is that the idea that we have in our head of what a book ban is

00:10:30.680 and the reality of what a book ban means in practice in some high school or middle school are very, very different things.

00:10:37.540 We, living in our liberal culture, according to which the highest and actually only moral edict is to just do whatever you want as an individual,

00:10:49.000 we believe that we should never ban books.

00:10:51.240 There's nothing worse than a book ban in the modern liberal mind.

00:10:55.560 And yet, you look back through history, Plato supported book banning and book burning.

00:11:01.320 The apostles supported book banning and book burning.

00:11:04.540 The Christians and Westerners going all the way up through the Middle Ages, the scholastics, supported book bans and book burning. 0.96

00:11:12.180 Even you get to the Protestant Revolution. 0.56

00:11:14.680 Martin Luther, I'm not the biggest Martin Luther guy in the world, but Martin Luther also supported book banning and book burning.

00:11:20.000 You get all the way up, and so you realize, wait a second, how come so many people of prominence, many of whom were very intelligent, very serious people,

00:11:28.460 why did they support certain restrictions on what can be read in certain places?

00:11:35.660 Well, because classrooms are like crystal balls, because your mind matters.

00:11:40.560 If you just open your mind and your mind's eye up to filthy, disgusting things all the time, 0.85

00:11:48.420 like whatever that Virginia House delegate candidate was doing or whatever porn these liberals want 12-year-olds to be reading in school, 0.94

00:11:55.500 it's going to mess up your mind.

00:11:57.500 It's going to mess up your desires.

00:11:59.060 It's going to mess up your ability to control your actions with your rational will.

00:12:02.480 That's why they're trying to do it, and that's why serious statesmen and serious educators for all of history have said,

00:12:07.600 no, you've got to be careful about this.

00:12:08.840 And you can't just have a totally open society, as the liberals tell us to do.

00:12:12.700 You have to have decent limits, especially when we're talking about education and early education,

00:12:20.300 because a third-grade classroom is not going to be the place where you debate contentious matters of philosophy.

00:12:26.600 A third-grade classroom is where you are taught as a matter of rote coercion, basic stuff,

00:12:31.460 to tamp down your appetite, exercise your rational will, 0.97

00:12:35.080 and then hopefully be able to resist this crap when you become an adult and the libs keep trying to force it on you. 0.99

00:12:39.940 We've got to restore some balance to society. 0.99

00:12:42.060 Got to restore some balance of nature.

00:13:51.000 Speaking of Democrat extremism, Kamala Harris insists that she does not support,

00:13:56.120 no one, no Democrat supports abortion up until the moment of birth. 0.97

00:13:59.520 That's a fake, ridiculous Republican talking point. 0.90

00:14:03.480 But then when she's asked what limits she would place on abortion, she comes up short. 0.96

00:14:08.640 What is it that you believe?

00:14:11.740 I mean, what week of pregnancy should abortion access be cut off?

00:14:16.600 We need to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade.

00:14:20.300 We're not trying to do something new.

00:14:22.500 Well, that was nebulous because it was about viability, which could be anywhere between 20 to 24 weeks.

00:14:27.980 But, so, no, no, no, no, no.

00:14:31.980 Let me be very clear.

00:14:33.700 The Women's Health Protection Act at the White House.

00:14:35.840 Let me be very clear.

00:14:38.140 From day one, the president has been clear.

00:14:41.320 I have been clear.

00:14:42.780 We need to put back the protections that are in Roe v. Wade into law.

00:14:48.960 Put a pause right there.

00:14:49.520 That's not clear.

00:14:51.800 That's not clear.

00:14:52.620 For the reason that, good on this journalist from CBS for saying.

00:14:56.380 She says, no, no, no.

00:14:57.380 Roe v. Wade was just a Supreme Court decision that had an ambiguous limit on when one could obtain an abortion.

00:15:06.960 And it varied even with the development of modern technology.

00:15:11.360 Also, Roe v. Wade was a court decision.

00:15:13.440 It was not a piece of legislation.

00:15:14.780 So, by definition, if you're going to pass a law, that is something new.

00:15:19.140 That is something different.

00:15:19.880 And you're going to have to come to a more precise ruling on when you would limit abortion.

00:15:25.140 And Kamala Harris says, no, no, no.

00:15:27.240 Beep, boop, beep, boop. 1.00

00:15:28.160 My talking point says, go back to Roe v. Wade. 0.54

00:15:30.400 Yeah, but obviously, you see how that's not possible because this is a law and that was a court decision.

00:15:34.420 And the court decision was ambiguous as to what the limit would be.

00:15:37.140 So, what's the limit?

00:15:38.060 No, I'm going to be really clear.

00:15:39.640 But then she won't be clear.

00:15:41.600 Keep going.

00:15:41.880 The court took it, Congress has the power and ability to pass legislation to put those protections back in law.

00:15:49.660 And Joe Biden will sign that bill.

00:15:51.800 So, that is what we want.

00:15:53.620 But does it need to be specific in terms of defining where that guarantee goes up to and where it does not?

00:16:02.080 Which week of pregnancy?

00:16:03.960 We need to put back in place the protections of Roe v. Wade. 0.65

00:16:07.260 You know why I'm asking this question, though.

00:16:09.680 But we're not trying to do anything that did not exist before June of last.

00:16:18.500 A federal abortion law didn't exist before. 1.00

00:16:22.440 So, you are doing something that's new.

00:16:25.140 No, no, but it's just Roe v. Wade.

00:16:26.880 Yeah, those are totally different things involved in totally different branches of government.

00:16:30.740 And actually, the law that you guys are trying to pass is totally different and more radical even than Roe v. Wade.

00:16:36.300 So, I don't know.

00:16:38.960 I want to be as charitable as possible.

00:16:40.720 And I think I am being as charitable as possible when I say I don't think Kamala Harris knows anything about pretty much anything.

00:16:46.340 So, she might just sincerely not understand that what she's saying is not coherent or intelligible.

00:16:53.920 She might also be lying.

00:16:56.300 But I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she just is not all that intelligent or knowledgeable.

00:17:04.120 And can't understand that when you pass a new law that has never existed before, that is a new thing.

00:17:10.440 Keep going.

00:17:11.580 Last year.

00:17:12.180 It wasn't crafted into law.

00:17:16.080 And that's why I'm asking you for the specifics here.

00:17:18.020 Because Republicans say the lack of a precise date in cutting it off.

00:17:23.040 You know this.

00:17:24.400 They say that allows Democrats to perform abortions up until birth. 0.98

00:17:29.220 Which is ridiculous. 0.93

00:17:30.440 Which is statistically not accurate. 0.98

00:17:31.820 And it's ridiculous.

00:17:33.560 So, now you see, okay, this is why the CBS journalist is pushing so hard here. 0.82

00:17:38.980 A lot of conservatives want to say, wow, good on her. 0.98

00:17:41.240 Or she's a good journalist.

00:17:42.360 She's actually speaking truth to power.

00:17:44.240 No, no, no.

00:17:45.080 She just realizes Democrats have this big vulnerability, which is they support abortion up until the moment of birth.

00:17:50.660 In the case of the former Virginia governor, Ralph Northam, they support abortion after birth.

00:17:55.020 And so, she knows this is a big vulnerability.

00:17:57.140 She wants to help Democrats by taking that talking point off the table. 1.00

00:18:00.080 So, she's serving up to Kamala on a silver platter.

00:18:02.920 Hey, come on, man.

00:18:06.180 Prove to me that this isn't real. 0.98

00:18:08.440 Look, it's ridiculous. 0.99

00:18:09.500 It's statistically insane. 0.99

00:18:11.200 What do you mean statistically insane?

00:18:12.360 The law says you're going to have an abortion up until the moment of birth. 1.00

00:18:15.040 That's what the law says.

00:18:15.740 That's not a lie.

00:18:17.260 That's not statistically crazy.

00:18:18.920 That's not hyperbole.

00:18:19.960 It's what the law says.

00:18:21.180 That's what they did in New York.

00:18:22.640 That's what the Virginia governor was pushing.

00:18:25.420 That's what exists in a lot of places around this country.

00:18:28.580 So, that's real.

00:18:30.060 And the CBS journalist is saying, please, please, just disprove that.

00:18:33.140 And Kamala says, I know. 0.85

00:18:33.860 It's ridiculous, isn't it? 0.96

00:18:35.000 Okay, so what's the limit? 0.98

00:18:36.900 Omana, omana, omana.

00:18:39.300 The mischaracterization of the point.

00:18:42.020 No, the point is.

00:18:43.080 But do you need to be more precise?

00:18:44.980 I am being precise.

00:18:46.420 You need to put into law the protections of Roe versus Wade.

00:18:51.800 Just total, total gaslighting.

00:18:54.640 I am grateful to that CBS journalist because even if, look, I don't want to try to guess

00:19:00.180 at her motives.

00:19:00.740 It would seem that her motive is, hey, come on, let's take this anti-Democrat talking point

00:19:03.900 off the table.

00:19:04.580 And Kamala just won't do it. 1.00

00:19:06.500 And then she gaslights on top.

00:19:07.800 I am being precise.

00:19:09.220 It's going to be something.

00:19:11.080 It's going to be something and that something is good.

00:19:13.520 Speaking of the Biden administration, Kevin McCarthy, House Republican leader, has just

00:19:18.480 come out, and finally, after weeks of speculation, he has said they are going to open an impeachment

00:19:24.120 inquiry into Joe Biden.

00:19:26.340 That's why today I am directing our House committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President

00:19:34.340 Joe Biden.

00:19:35.960 This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather all the facts and

00:19:43.260 answers for the American public.

00:19:45.600 It's exactly what we want to know.

00:19:47.280 The answers.

00:19:49.600 I believe the President would want to answer these questions and allegations as well.

00:19:54.460 This effort will be led by Chairman James Comer at the Committee on Oversight, in coordination

00:19:59.740 with Chairman Jim Jordan for Judiciary Committee, and Chairman Jason Smith on Ways and Means.

00:20:08.140 I do not make this decision lightly.

00:20:10.540 And regardless of your party or who you voted for, these facts should concern all Americans.

00:20:19.540 The American people deserve to know that the public offices are not for sale and that the

00:20:26.740 federal government is not being used to cover up the actions of a politically associated family.

00:20:34.640 All true.

00:20:35.640 This is a smart thing to do.

00:20:37.040 It will keep Biden a little bit on his heels, hopefully get us a little bit more information

00:20:40.980 about Biden, keep the story of Biden's corruption in the news, if nothing else.

00:20:44.660 The best argument against Biden's impeachment, of course, is Kamala Harris.

00:20:48.680 You saw it on display right there in that interview with CBS.

00:20:51.800 She has got nothing.

00:20:54.120 Joe Biden seems like he is a Rhodes Scholar compared to Kamala.

00:21:00.820 And Joe Biden obviously is not quickest on his feet either.

00:21:05.380 We can say this is because Biden's senile.

00:21:07.520 We can say this is because Kamala Harris is not particularly smart. 1.00

00:21:12.040 But I want to be nicer to Kamala here and to Biden for that matter.

00:21:16.200 When Kamala can't answer what the limit is on the Democrat view of abortion, that's because 0.93

00:21:22.140 there isn't one and there can't be one.

00:21:25.220 The logical conclusion of the Democrat view on abortion is that women should be able to 0.75

00:21:30.860 murder their children up until at least the moment of birth.

00:21:34.040 There's no limiting principle because from the moment of conception, a baby is alive and

00:21:39.740 a baby is human.

00:21:40.680 There is nothing that changes other than the natural development of that baby.

00:21:46.580 But if human life has any sanctity to it, if innocent human life has any right to not

00:21:58.000 be killed, then it has that from the moment that it begins.

00:22:04.200 And so it's not just that Kamala is a weak politician. 0.99

00:22:08.240 It's not just that she hasn't thought through her view.

00:22:10.680 She probably has thought through her view and she realizes that there is no point at

00:22:16.260 which she can say this is going to be the limit that that is going to make any sense as a

00:22:21.500 matter of bioethics.

00:22:22.440 And two, that's going to appease her base because her base is is further even than the 1.00

00:22:27.600 politicians tend to be.

00:22:28.840 Hillary tried to walk this line by saying abortion should be safe, legal and rare. 1.00

00:22:32.140 That didn't work.

00:22:32.940 That fell apart because the base recognizes that ideas have consequences.

00:22:37.220 The consequences of the idea that a woman should be able to murder her child is that a woman 1.00

00:22:41.640 should be able to murder her child when she feels like it. 1.00

00:22:44.420 And so that's a ghastly view. 0.98

00:22:45.820 It's why the Democrats have to hide it.

00:22:47.360 And if you have to hide your views in public, that should at least some of the time make you

00:22:52.960 wonder, huh, are my views good?

00:22:56.620 Is what I believe a good thing or is it evil?

00:25:18.460 if you are even mildly familiar with this show, you might be aware of my autumnal affinity

00:25:23.440 for a certain seasonal treat.

00:25:25.260 I am an aficionado of the PSL, the pumpkin spice latte.

00:25:28.580 I am a basic white girl from September 1st up through the beginning of winter.

00:25:34.080 So what better way to bring the fall atmosphere into your home than with the all-new Michael

00:26:01.960 It's very seasonal.

00:26:03.200 Theallywire.com slash shop.

00:26:07.620 Speaking of Joe Biden,

00:26:08.600 I don't know if you stay up at night.

00:26:13.520 I stay up because I'm reading and smoking cigars, but some people stay up because they're

00:26:16.940 afraid of things.

00:26:17.960 You know, they might be afraid of how to pay the bills.

00:26:20.140 They might be afraid of all the attacks on our children.

00:26:23.660 They might be afraid of the American political order fraying.

00:26:29.360 They might be afraid of war, even nuclear war.

00:26:32.120 But Joe Biden says, no, none of that is frightening compared with the terror of climate change.

00:26:38.740 In addition to helping the environment overall, and the only existential threat humanity faces,

00:26:46.120 even more frightening than a nuclear war, is global warming going above 1.5 degrees in the next 10 years.

00:26:57.060 And we're in real trouble.

00:26:59.140 There's no way back from that.

00:27:01.100 Are you more frightened of global warming than you are of nuclear war?

00:27:05.860 I'm not particularly frightened of either, but I would say nuclear war is a more frightening prospect.

00:27:09.940 And yet, if you're listening to this show, you're probably going to make fun of this. 1.00

00:27:13.520 You say, what kind of stupid dummy is terrified of climate change? 1.00

00:27:19.940 A fair number of people. 1.00

00:27:21.300 I know people.

00:27:22.020 I have friends from New York who say, I don't know if I'm going to have a child because, you know, climate change.

00:27:28.860 They'll grow up in a world with the rising sea levels and the apocalypse Armageddon of tsunamis and whatever else is predicted.

00:27:40.260 The sun monster coming down.

00:27:41.620 And they'll also say, and if we have more children, that'll contribute to climate change.

00:27:45.520 But people really believe this.

00:27:47.900 They really believe this is the threat to humanity, even more than nuclear war.

00:27:53.100 It reminds me of a line from the founder of anarchism, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, who says that whoever invokes humanity wants to cheat.

00:28:07.420 People do this in politics a lot, especially in liberal politics.

00:28:11.880 But if you say, I'm fighting on behalf of humanity, you're cheating.

00:28:16.660 That's not how politics works.

00:28:18.000 In politics, people are divided into different sides.

00:28:23.440 At the level of domestic politics, it's the Republicans and the Democrats.

00:28:26.520 The left and the right.

00:28:27.740 At the level of international politics, it's the Americans versus the Russians. 0.66

00:28:32.200 Or versus the Chinese. 0.96

00:28:34.720 Or Iraq versus Iran. 0.55

00:28:36.520 But there's always a concrete enemy.

00:28:38.860 And there are always concrete political allies and friends.

00:28:42.460 When you get to the level of humanitarian politics, where you say, we're all, it's all just, we're citizens of the world, man.

00:28:52.540 Just coming together, you know.

00:28:54.180 What you're really saying is that we're going to get rid of politics.

00:28:57.880 This is something that the liberals have tried to do.

00:29:00.140 This is what Fukuyama means when he says that we've reached the end of history.

00:29:04.860 The meaning of that phrase is that politics, as we have known it for all of recorded history, that will cease to exist.

00:29:12.520 The antagonisms, the divisions, the wars, that's going to go away.

00:29:16.560 And we're all just going to kind of give up our deeply held beliefs and get together for the purpose of free trade and the accumulation of material wealth.

00:29:24.080 But that's not how human beings work.

00:29:25.820 We're drawn to more than that.

00:29:27.320 Cheap Chinese stuff is not enough to inspire and sustain a life.

00:29:31.060 That's why when we've achieved this alleged liberal utopia, what do people start to do? 0.98

00:29:36.040 They start doing a bunch of drugs and weird sex stuff and killing themselves.

00:29:39.020 And the life expectancy actually decreases and birth rates decrease and the civilization starts to die.

00:29:44.420 This is not how human beings are meant to live.

00:29:47.460 We're the political animal, as Aristotle says, and we live in political society.

00:29:52.060 So one trick, one trick that the liberal politicians try to use to allow politics to continue, even when we're talking about all this humanitarian, we're all together, kumbaya kind of stuff, is they have to just invent an enemy.

00:30:06.260 And not an enemy within the human species, but an enemy outside of it.

00:30:10.840 So they'll say, no, no, no, we're all united because we're fighting climate change.

00:30:15.520 That's the big enemy.

00:30:17.360 We just observed the anniversary of 9-11.

00:30:20.100 What do people always say about 9-11?

00:30:22.660 Well, it was this horrible, horrible day, but the one silver lining in that awful storm cloud was we all came together.

00:30:28.320 We'd never been so united.

00:30:29.920 I don't remember having unity like that before.

00:30:32.240 Everybody says it.

00:30:33.920 And they're right.

00:30:35.300 We had a very clear enemy.

00:30:37.000 You saw the face.

00:30:37.700 Osama bin Laden, that was the clear enemy that united all of the American people. 0.96

00:30:41.980 In order to be united, you have to have a clear sense of who your enemy is.

00:30:46.600 And in liberal politics, where we refuse to say that any people are actually the enemy, we say, oh, it's climate change.

00:30:52.140 It's the sun monster.

00:30:53.480 It's something else.

00:30:54.480 It's something outside of us.

00:30:55.480 But that in itself is a highly political operation because what that means then is the people who contribute to global warming.

00:31:06.040 They're the worst enemies of all.

00:31:08.000 Oh, they're much worse enemies than Osama bin Laden.

00:31:11.040 They're much worse enemies than Stalin or Mao or Hitler even.

00:31:14.440 They're much worse enemies because their enemy is not just some country or some particular type of people.

00:31:19.400 But their enemy is all of humanity.

00:31:23.380 And so, ironically, the humanitarian liberal politics, which purports to usher in an age of peace where we all just kind of love each other, that ends up being the cruelest kind of politics of all.

00:31:35.100 You know this.

00:31:35.760 It's always the liberals with the crazy colored air who say, hey, man, peace and love. 0.95

00:31:39.800 Be kind. 0.89

00:31:40.960 Be kind to everybody.

00:31:42.440 Just be really nice.

00:31:42.960 They're always the cruelest people who ostracize members of their family, who shriek horrible obscenities, who threaten to kill people, who show up to my speeches and throw explosives at the wall.

00:31:52.500 It's always those people.

00:31:53.960 And it seems like there's a contradiction there.

00:31:56.400 But there isn't really.

00:31:58.220 They have convinced themselves that they're standing up for all of humanity.

00:32:02.360 And it just so happens that the people they disagree with cease to be human.

00:32:06.540 Or they forfeit their humanity because they have made themselves the enemy of all of humanity.

00:32:12.480 And you see this especially, especially when it clums to climate change.

00:32:18.140 Apple, biggest company in the world, has just had its big annual Apple event where we're unveiling the new products and the new technologies.

00:32:27.840 And Tim Cook did this by opening the show with a skit that he had filmed in which he is accountable to Mother Earth.

00:32:39.500 Mother Nature.

00:32:40.580 Mother Nature, welcome to Apple.

00:32:44.520 How was the weather getting in?

00:32:51.640 The weather was however I wanted it to be.

00:32:54.560 Let's cut to the chase.

00:32:56.480 In 2020, you promised to bring Apple's entire carbon footprint to zero by 2030.

00:33:01.240 Henry David Thoreau over here said we have a profound opportunity to build a more sustainable future for the planet we share.

00:33:09.280 I think our 10 o'clock said the same thing.

00:33:11.200 They all did.

00:33:12.880 All right.

00:33:13.940 This is my third corporate responsibility gig today.

00:33:17.280 So who wants to disappoint me first?

00:33:19.060 Well, we've got some updates we are excited to share with you.

00:33:24.220 Materials?

00:33:25.020 Status.

00:33:25.920 Is there a materials person here?

00:33:28.500 Yes.

00:33:29.280 We are in the process of eliminating all plastic from our packaging by the end.

00:33:33.120 Let me guess.

00:33:33.980 50 years from now when someone else is left holding a bag?

00:33:36.620 By the end of next year, actually.

00:33:39.300 Oh, wow.

00:33:40.260 And it goes on and on and on.

00:33:41.280 We'll cut it off there.

00:33:42.100 I can't.

00:33:42.340 This is exhibit 375,000 that our civilization is returning to a pagan kind of public religion.

00:33:57.440 This is just the opposite of Christianity. 0.99

00:34:01.160 Tim Cook is sitting there and he's going to be accountable to that higher power that rules over him.

00:34:07.660 And what is that higher power?

00:34:08.580 Is that higher power God?

00:34:09.620 No, it's a nature spirit.

00:34:14.320 We see in the Bible, as people begin to become aware of the one true God, the Lord our God,

00:34:21.920 the distinction between the true God and all the fake gods is that all the fake gods that people worship,

00:34:28.600 they're just kind of nature spirits.

00:34:30.660 They're lower worldly kind of entities.

00:34:34.220 God himself is outside of the world.

00:34:36.700 He created the world.

00:34:37.880 He is the unmoved mover.

00:34:42.540 He is perfectly himself.

00:34:47.380 And then he, in an act of love, creates everything, including the world.

00:34:51.560 And he says, don't worship worldly things.

00:34:54.120 Don't become worldly.

00:34:55.000 But look to the things of the spirit.

00:34:59.940 What does Apple say here?

00:35:01.580 No, no, no.

00:35:01.860 We're just going to worship literally the world.

00:35:03.520 We're literally going to worship Mother Nature.

00:35:06.980 And why are we going to do that?

00:35:09.460 Well, because we want to make sure that in this fleshy terrestrial life, we get to keep appeasing the spirits of the sky, the spirits of the oceans, the principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places.

00:35:24.060 And we don't even notice it.

00:35:25.320 Most people are going to watch that.

00:35:26.680 If you're listening to this show, you probably are a little more in tune with the underlying message of this kind of propaganda.

00:35:35.520 But most people are going to watch it and say, oh, that's kind of cute.

00:35:37.500 Ha, ha, ha.

00:35:38.040 Mother Nature's uprating the CEO of Apple. 0.90

00:35:40.700 Teehee.

00:35:40.980 Okay, whatever, moving on.

00:35:42.380 And you don't recognize that the kind of understanding of human nature and religion that's being presented here is the exact opposite of the religion that built our entire civilization.

00:35:52.580 But also that this is the normal kind of religion that has existed most places on earth for most of the history of the world other than after the incarnation.

00:36:06.740 This is normal paganism. 0.57

00:36:08.920 And as our country and our culture is giving up Christianity, we're just returning to that. 0.98

00:36:14.660 We're doing the same thing the Canaanites used to do. 1.00

00:36:16.600 We're worshiping nature and we're sacrificing our children to appease our false gods. 0.80

00:36:21.040 That's what we're doing.

00:36:22.000 And there's nothing new under the sun.

00:36:23.760 And we think that we're very modern and scientific and innovative.

00:36:27.340 And we're not.

00:36:27.900 We're just, we're either going to choose good things that have been around for a long time or we're going to choose bad things that have been around for a long time.

00:36:34.800 Now, speaking of false religions and powers of the air, did you see this story? 0.78

00:36:38.980 I have to get to it because I know Walsh is going to get to it and he's going to spread his ridiculous propaganda. 0.68

00:36:43.620 So I've got to get to it.

00:36:44.660 There's a story coming out of Mexico that UFOlogists have presented to the Mexican authorities mummified UFO ET corpses.

00:37:00.400 And you look at the corpses and they look like little, I don't know, terracotta figures or something.

00:37:05.080 They look like little stonework that some eccentric would have around his garden.

00:37:09.340 And they purport to, they look just like E.T.

00:37:13.160 I mean, like actually from the Steven Spielberg movie.

00:37:15.860 And they say, these are the bodies of aliens.

00:37:19.540 And see, that's not, it's not human DNA and it's not a human shape.

00:37:23.480 It's an alien.

00:37:24.080 And to me, it looks like someone just carved this out of cement.

00:37:26.800 But they say, no, no, that's an alien.

00:37:28.880 Now, there's a little bit of important context here.

00:37:32.180 I'm going to pull this up because this is the part that Walsh is not going to read on his show.

00:37:35.860 So, you can, you can read the whole article.

00:37:40.280 Everyone's going to be saying this is proof that aliens exist.

00:37:43.200 Well, here we have, let's see.

00:37:46.760 Here we have a key quote from this article.

00:37:49.540 The claims by the self-claimed UFOlogist have not been proven.

00:37:56.140 The claims about the DNA, the claims about this not being recognizable as human or made by humans.

00:38:01.100 They have not been proven and Mr. Maosan has previously been associated with claims of discoveries that have later been debunked.

00:38:09.440 So, it's just fake, guys. 0.94

00:38:13.620 It's fake because aliens are just demons for liberals and atheists. 0.98

00:38:18.920 That's all it is. 0.93

00:38:20.080 It's just maybe a psyop to distract us from actual pressing political matters and religious matters.

00:38:27.140 Or maybe it's demonic in nature.

00:38:30.020 Or maybe it's just some weirdo who got fooled.

00:38:31.980 But the headline you're going to see is, alien bodies discovered.

00:38:35.940 And the actual story is, guy who made disproven claims makes more similarly to be disproven claims.

00:38:46.960 That's, that is what's going on here.

00:38:50.360 Now, speaking of unidentified life forms, Tim Scott claims to have a girlfriend.

00:38:56.700 This is the senator, Republican senator from South Carolina who's running for president.

00:39:00.780 And he made the claims on cable news.

00:39:04.780 And a lot of people are making fun of him for these claims.

00:39:07.960 I'm not going to make fun of him for these claims, regardless of whether or not they are true.

00:39:11.500 We'll get to that in one second.

00:39:12.400 First, though, despite the lackluster economy, the Daily Wire is thriving.

00:39:17.120 Not only that, we are hiring.

00:39:18.760 We are currently looking for an inside sales rep to join our fast-growing sales department.

00:39:22.920 As an inside sales rep, you will identify and solicit new client, direct business.

00:39:27.000 This is a unique opportunity to engage with clients nationwide to discuss advertising opportunities across multiple platforms, including podcast display, email, video, and more.

00:39:35.760 The position is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

00:39:37.240 If you're interested in joining our team, visit dailywire.com slash careers.

00:39:40.940 That is dailywire.com slash careers today.

00:39:44.620 My favorite comment yesterday is from SlapMyBase3825, who says,

00:39:48.380 The fact that this video, my episode yesterday, was deleted and had to be re-uploaded means that Michael's show was spicier than a PSL with extra cinnamon.

00:39:56.300 So true.

00:39:57.200 Spicier, perhaps, even than this candle.

00:39:59.420 I noticed that.

00:40:00.140 Some people were tagging me.

00:40:01.600 They said, Michael, the show went up late on YouTube yesterday, which to me says, first of all, you should join Daily Wire.

00:40:07.280 You should become a Daily Wire Plus member.

00:40:08.900 Then you get the show immediately live.

00:40:11.920 No YouTube censorship whatsoever.

00:40:13.920 We talk about whatever we want.

00:40:15.620 But two, yeah, sometimes it's got to come down because YouTube is looking for any excuse to nuke my channel.

00:40:20.680 And so they've got to clean it up for YouTube.

00:40:25.680 And we always point out what we're cleaning up.

00:40:28.900 You know, okay, this segment had to go.

00:40:30.320 YouTube was going to nuke our channel.

00:40:31.860 Sorry, this word had to go.

00:40:32.740 So you've got to go get it at M Knowles Show on X, formerly known as Twitter, or Daily Wire Plus.

00:40:38.860 Tim Scott says he has a girlfriend.

00:40:41.500 Here is the claim.

00:40:42.420 And this headline, you might have caught your attention.

00:40:45.820 GOP donors are privately pushing to Senator Tim Scott to give more details about his private life, your single status.

00:40:53.080 So you must have heard this.

00:40:54.340 And you've got to be attuned without donations, without support.

00:40:57.340 You can't run.

00:40:58.640 What is your status?

00:41:01.540 Well, obviously, at this point, I'm taken.

00:41:03.940 I have a wonderful girlfriend.

00:41:05.080 And we have a wonderful relationship.

00:41:06.760 The good news is God has blessed me with a smart Christian woman.

00:41:10.640 That's great news.

00:41:11.440 But more importantly is why are the headlines there?

00:41:14.800 The headlines are there because as I rise in the polls, as people show up at my town halls, it scares even my opponents.

00:41:24.060 Okay.

00:41:24.820 This is a similar story that happened with Cory Booker last time.

00:41:29.780 Cory Booker, also U.S. senator who wasn't married, who had never really been linked with any girlfriends.

00:41:36.700 And then right as he starts running for president, Cory Booker starts dating an actress.

00:41:40.680 So it was a little on the nose to cast an actress.

00:41:44.460 And he was a little more open about talking about this alleged relationship he was having than Tim Scott seems to be.

00:41:51.500 And so some people are saying, oh, Tim Scott, it's just fake.

00:41:53.820 He doesn't really have a girlfriend.

00:41:54.960 You know, his girlfriend's up in Canada.

00:41:56.220 She goes to another school or something.

00:41:57.740 I don't care.

00:41:58.420 I'm not going to make fun of Tim Scott for this.

00:42:00.160 I don't care if Tim Scott has a girlfriend or not.

00:42:02.060 I don't care about the reasons for which Tim Scott may or may not have a girlfriend.

00:42:06.440 It doesn't interest me.

00:42:09.580 Not everyone is called to be married.

00:42:11.480 That is the norm.

00:42:12.440 That is true for most people.

00:42:13.800 But for some people, they're called to religious life.

00:42:15.920 They're called to a different vocation.

00:42:17.040 They're called to a consecrated singleness.

00:42:19.080 Some people want to get married, and it's just never happened.

00:42:21.060 And I don't judge on that kind of thing.

00:42:25.320 You know, as long as one is doing what one ought to do, as long as one is doing the right thing,

00:42:32.640 then the actual circumstances in which one finds oneself, with or without a wife, in some other kind of vocation,

00:42:42.940 remaining celibate, doing whatever, it's fine by me.

00:42:46.120 I don't care.

00:42:46.700 And it reminds me, forget about Tim Scott for a second.

00:42:51.060 Christians get a bad rap for being judgmental because we say, hey, you know, you shouldn't have, like, weird porno in elementary schools. 0.91

00:42:59.720 You know, we're really judgmental. 0.96

00:43:01.200 We're so authoritarian.

00:43:03.280 But Christians do have that rap. 1.00

00:43:04.920 We have thoughts about personal comportment, about professional morality, political morality, sexual morality.

00:43:12.460 We have a view of how the human life ought to be lived.

00:43:17.040 As does everybody, by the way.

00:43:18.920 Some people are just a little more forthright about it than others.

00:43:21.440 But in that way, Christians are very judgmental. 0.99

00:43:25.020 But then in the extreme cases, it seems to me Christians and conservatives, and there's substantial overlap there,

00:43:31.780 are the least judgmental people on earth.

00:43:35.440 And the supposedly tolerant, open-minded, inclusive liberals, they're the most judgmental people on earth.

00:43:40.600 Because in the extreme cases, let's say some guy becomes an axe murderer.

00:43:46.740 Let's say some guy, I don't know, engages in some other sort of terrible behavior.

00:43:50.400 What the Christian response is, is, oh, well, there but for the grace of God go I.

00:43:54.740 Oh, yeah, that, yeah, we're, this is human nature.

00:43:58.060 The imagination of man's heart is evil from the beginning.

00:44:00.360 We're inclined towards sin.

00:44:01.760 We're born with original sin.

00:44:03.400 We, we have to deal with concupiscence.

00:44:05.880 And, yeah, thanks to the grace of God that I haven't fallen that way, but I easily could have.

00:44:10.820 I'm no better than that guy of my own merit.

00:44:16.840 I just have had the good grace to be brought off that path.

00:44:22.540 And so I, I know the liberals are going to be the ones who make fun of Tim Scott for this.

00:44:26.920 It's not really going to be the, conservatives maybe make, make a few jokes here or there,

00:44:30.400 but it's always the liberals.

00:44:31.800 They're going to be the ones saying, this guy can't get a girl, or this guy's gay, or this guy's that, or this guy's, 0.97

00:44:37.380 they're going to be the ones insinuating all sorts of mean, nasty little things about him.

00:44:42.200 I think most conservatives are going to say, okay, whatever, Tim Scott, are you going to be a good president or not?

00:44:47.040 He's, he's not all that high in the polls right now.

00:44:48.920 So, you know, it doesn't look like he's going to win the nomination,

00:44:51.240 but if he doesn't win the nomination, it's not going to be because he's got a girlfriend or doesn't have a girlfriend 0.97

00:44:56.760 or because those conservatives are so damned judgmental.

00:45:00.100 Now, speaking of relationships, a couple of days ago, she's 26 was trending. 0.83

00:45:04.280 And she's 26 was trending because Chris Evans, who is an insufferably liberal actor,

00:45:11.420 he played one of the superheroes.

00:45:13.380 He's 41 and he's marrying this gal who's 26.

00:45:18.700 Her name is Alba Baptista.

00:45:21.000 It's a good name.

00:45:22.180 And this was trending.

00:45:23.320 She's only 26.

00:45:24.580 What a creep.

00:45:26.160 All these liberal accounts saying, oh, it's awful.

00:45:30.120 Hey, look at that age gap.

00:45:32.140 He's 15 years older than she is.

00:45:34.000 That's awful.

00:45:34.940 She, he's exploiting her.

00:45:36.680 And I thought, hold on, wait a second, wait a second.

00:45:39.620 You're telling me that a 26-year-old woman cannot really consent to marry a man who's a little bit older than her.

00:45:47.540 But a 16-year-old girl certainly can consent to sterilize herself, get carved up, have her organs taken off, and reduce her own life expectancy. 0.84

00:46:04.500 That's what you're telling me.

00:46:07.400 I don't, forget about 16.

00:46:09.140 They're now starting the transition, the gender transition in elementary schools. 0.92

00:46:13.260 A six-year-old, I guess.

00:46:14.540 Does that make any sense?

00:46:16.040 Of course that doesn't make any sense.

00:46:17.240 So what explains it?

00:46:19.020 What explains it is not some consistent view of consent.

00:46:24.020 What explains it is not some consistent view of morality.

00:46:28.560 What explains it is that whatever is good, these liberals will oppose.

00:46:33.900 It sounds like I'm being a little bit harsh, but I'm not.

00:46:38.180 Show me the lie.

00:46:39.800 Show me the counterexample.

00:46:41.260 What explains this is when a woman marries a man, they enter into the basic political institution that is conducive to both of their flourishing and that is open to the possibility of life and that can create more children.

00:46:56.620 But the libs don't want that. 1.00

00:46:59.120 Anything that will break up marriages, anything that will reduce the number of children being born, anything that will reduce people's true flourishing and happiness, anything that will undermine justice and the political order, the liberals will support.

00:47:15.180 Even if those various facets of their project seem to be in conflict with one another.

00:47:23.060 That's what it's about.

00:47:24.020 And the reason is that they're beginning from flawed premises about human nature and the point of life, and they allow this to develop into behavior that is very harmful to themselves and to others, and they follow these bad ideas to their logical conclusions.

00:47:40.520 That's why.

00:47:42.000 This is why when people bemoan tribal politics, yes, you don't want to be thoughtlessly partisan.

00:47:47.300 Yes, you don't want to blindly follow some mob.

00:47:49.600 Of course not.

00:47:50.400 But broadly speaking, tribal politics is a pretty good thing.

00:47:53.200 And tribal politics, by the way, is all politics because politics is about real particular groups that are in opposition to one another.

00:48:03.440 And so we say, well, we don't want to be tribal or anything like that.

00:48:08.620 Look, if you agree with a group of people, a lot of people, on 99% of issues and there's one issue on which you think you disagree,

00:48:15.940 I think any degree of humility would make you stop and wonder, huh, am I wrong here?

00:48:23.440 Is it that all of these people who agree with me on so many things, that they happen to be wrong on this one issue?

00:48:28.680 Or is it possible that I am wrong on this issue?

00:48:31.480 As a rule of thumb, tribal politics is not a bad thing.

00:48:35.220 We actually just call it politics.

00:48:36.620 The rest of the show continues now, folks.
