The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1360 - Disney Panics After South Park's Mockery

00:00:00.000 Disney has officially announced that it will be delaying the release of its much-mocked,

00:00:04.700 cartoonishly-lived live-action remake of Snow White, or Sand Beige, as I call it,

00:00:11.060 given the emphasis on diversity casting. I'm not saying that Jeremy Boring is single-handedly

00:00:17.400 responsible for Disney's delay. I don't know that he did it single-handedly. But I'm quite

00:00:22.700 confident that if, say, seven hands were involved, at least six of them were Jeremy's.

00:00:30.620 For a comparison, here is Disney's new Snow White.

00:00:34.480 You said you were bringing a modern edge to it on stage. What do you mean by that?

00:00:38.540 I just mean that it's no longer 1937, and we absolutely wrote a Snow White that is-

00:00:44.620 She's not going to be saved by the prince.

00:00:45.960 She's not going to be saved by the prince, and she's not going to be dreaming about

00:00:48.940 true love. She's dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be.

00:00:53.600 Sounds great. Here's our Snow White.

00:00:56.660 By 2030, it's predicted that 45% of women will be unmarried and childless. And why do you think

00:01:02.420 that is? Well, it's because we've been told that, you know, men are trash, and that our 0.99

00:01:06.360 career is the only thing that matters, and that marriage and children will inhibit that, 0.97

00:01:09.880 which is unnatural. That is biologically unnatural for women. 1.00

00:01:14.620 That does sound great. I mean, what's happening is really bad, but the fact that

00:01:18.100 our Snow White realizes that that's a problem, and the girls actually do want a prince, and they do want 0.97

00:01:22.540 normal stuff, that's a good sign. Disney is obviously reacting to the Daily Wire announcement

00:01:29.560 that we will be releasing our version side-by-side with theirs. And Disney is also reacting to the

00:01:36.140 terrible reaction that their remake has been getting among the public. And then the final nail

00:01:40.480 in the coffin of this remake's release came by way of South Park just last week.

00:01:44.900 I keep having the same dream. Everywhere I look, people are being replaced.

00:01:51.520 Okay, and who do you think is going to have you replaced?

00:01:54.820 Them. The Puppet Masters. The last time I had the dream, I was walking down the school hallway.

00:02:04.120 And then I see Butters, and he's like,

00:02:05.780 Hey, Eric, you want to see what my mom packed me for lunch?

00:02:08.700 And that's when I start to notice that something's wrong.

00:02:10.740 Everyone I cared about has been systematically replaced.

00:02:13.200 And finally, I want to scream, and I'm like,

00:02:15.100 Why are they replacing every single character with someone who is diverse?

00:02:18.300 But then Kenny's like,

00:02:19.240 It's not our fault, it's because of Kathleen Kennedy.

00:02:21.340 But then Kathleen Kennedy's just like, 1.00

00:02:22.820 F*** it, make it more lame. 1.00

00:02:24.360 And everyone in town is like, 1.00

00:02:25.620 No, please, Kathleen Kennedy, stop ruining everything.

00:02:28.060 But Kathleen Kennedy is all like, 0.99

00:02:29.340 Put another gay-diverse woman in it, make it more f***ing lame. 1.00

00:02:32.200 And the Disney stock just keeps going down and down and down. 0.99

00:02:35.300 And then Bob Iger is all like,

00:02:36.580 No, what's going on with my stock?

00:02:38.880 No, I can't be kidding.

00:02:40.160 No, make it more lame.

00:02:43.520 That is exactly what they're doing.

00:02:46.320 And that is why we hate the diversity, equity, and inclusion,

00:02:51.640 casting and writing in movies.

00:02:53.860 We don't hate it for the reason that the libs think.

00:02:56.880 It's not that we conservatives, or forget conservatives,

00:02:59.300 that we normal people are opposed to diversity exactly.

00:03:04.820 What we oppose is dishonesty.

00:03:07.660 The reason that we don't like it, 0.99

00:03:09.360 when Hollywood replaces every white guy with indigenous black lesbian pygmies, 1.00

00:03:14.300 is that that is not how the world really works. 1.00

00:03:17.320 In the real world, not every white man is an idiot or a villain. 0.99

00:03:22.020 Most white guys are actually pretty decent fellas. 0.98

00:03:24.400 In the real world, not every woman or person of color

00:03:28.320 or other type of self-styled, aggrieved minority is perfect.

00:03:32.940 Some of them, believe it or not, actually have complexity of character.

00:03:36.640 In the real world, not every single romantic couple is interracial.

00:03:41.440 It happens.

00:03:42.460 I'm not opposed to it when it does.

00:03:44.280 Some of my best friends are interracial couples.

00:03:47.220 But it's rare.

00:03:48.780 I looked it up.

00:03:49.600 It's like 8% of marriages.

00:03:52.400 In movies and TV today, it's like 80%.

00:03:55.500 In the real world, most people don't consider themselves gay or trans.

00:04:01.680 In the real world, conservatives, believe it or not, 1.00

00:04:04.620 are not always ignorant, stupid, malevolent hicks. 1.00

00:04:07.980 Sometimes those things happen. 1.00

00:04:10.220 So it's fine to depict it sometimes.

00:04:13.220 But the problem with the new representation in Hollywood

00:04:16.420 is that it doesn't represent reality.

00:04:19.560 More often than not, it totally flips reality.

00:04:22.240 And that is super duper lame.

00:04:26.060 And so people tune the fantasists out.

00:04:28.660 And they start to tune into alternatives.

00:04:30.840 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:04:31.540 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:04:32.480 Welcome back to the show.

00:05:05.020 This is the first opportunity I've had on the show

00:05:07.320 to discuss the incredible, juicy Good Ranchers double cheeseburger

00:05:12.500 that sweet little Elisa made me the other night.

00:05:14.220 It was just so mouth-watering and delicious.

00:05:17.480 We'll get into Good Ranchers more a little bit later.

00:05:19.480 We will also get into the New Yorker

00:05:20.880 who has gone viral for bullying a pro-Hamas guy.

00:05:25.060 And everyone likes this clip,

00:05:27.220 especially people on the right.

00:05:28.340 But people on the right are having trouble articulating

00:05:32.620 why they like this clip

00:05:33.940 because it contradicts a lot of things

00:05:35.620 that we have been saying in recent years

00:05:38.280 that were kind of BS, cancel culture and all that.

00:05:40.940 We'll get into it.

00:05:41.820 First, though, speaking of costumes and diversity,

00:05:45.700 Halloween is upon us.

00:05:48.800 And a New Jersey school district

00:05:50.180 has canceled Halloween celebrations.

00:05:53.080 This New Jersey school district

00:05:54.360 has banned costumes from the schools

00:05:57.520 because of concerns over diversity, equity, and inclusion.

00:06:03.420 The decision was made by Superintendent Ronald Taylor

00:06:06.380 of the South Orange and Maplewood School District

00:06:08.640 just west of Newark.

00:06:11.000 The costumes will be banned.

00:06:13.760 There will be no Halloween celebrations during school hours.

00:06:19.220 Here's why.

00:06:19.640 Each year, questions arise from families, students, and staff

00:06:22.820 about what SOMSD schools will be doing regarding Halloween.

00:06:27.580 Is promoting school-sponsored Halloween activities

00:06:30.420 creating indirect and unintentional financial hardships

00:06:33.940 for students and families?

00:06:35.160 Okay, first of all, you can throw a sheet on,

00:06:37.000 cut out a couple of eyes,

00:06:38.540 put a little spooky mouth on it or something, 0.67

00:06:40.640 and you're a ghost. 0.98

00:06:41.420 Or you could just draw a little scar on your face 1.00

00:06:46.100 and put a couple fake nails in your neck 1.00

00:06:47.880 and your Frankenstein. 0.95

00:06:48.780 It's not that expensive to do some kind of costume.

00:06:52.220 Do school-sponsored Halloween activities

00:06:54.040 violate the dignity of some of our students and families,

00:06:57.760 either culturally or religiously?

00:06:59.280 Okay, that's actually what they're concerned about.

00:07:02.520 If a white kid wears a sombrero, 0.95

00:07:04.600 is it going to be an international incident

00:07:06.120 and everyone's going to get fired and canceled for it?

00:07:08.360 Does the promotion of school-sponsored Halloween activities

00:07:11.240 create tensions with the equity

00:07:13.940 and access values of SOMSD?

00:07:17.120 I don't even know what that means.

00:07:18.760 That's just like blah, blah, blah,

00:07:22.300 gobble, gobble, goobity-gook,

00:07:24.280 nonsense, gibberish to follow their actual concern.

00:07:28.220 This is actually, slight digression,

00:07:30.180 this is what happens in Washington

00:07:31.440 when staffers are presenting policy options

00:07:35.920 to a principal, to a congressman or a president

00:07:39.180 or something, is they'll give three options.

00:07:41.420 And the first one is not a good option.

00:07:43.620 The second one is the only workable option.

00:07:46.040 And the third option is also not workable.

00:07:48.280 It doesn't make any sense.

00:07:49.460 And so it's like a policy sandwich

00:07:51.120 where the person has to pick the one in the middle.

00:07:53.300 That's like here.

00:07:54.160 They say, well, maybe it's too expensive,

00:07:55.800 but no, that's not a good excuse.

00:07:57.180 And well, it violates multiculturalism 0.97

00:07:59.440 and DEI and political correctness.

00:08:01.560 That's what they're actually concerned about.

00:08:03.020 And then the third one,

00:08:04.420 it creates tensions with equity and access values.

00:08:07.160 That's not even, that's barely English.

00:08:08.780 That's barely a semantically meaningful sentence,

00:08:13.340 but it's about DEI.

00:08:16.160 And why is it about DEI?

00:08:18.060 It does go beyond just wokeness.

00:08:21.120 It does go beyond just political correctness here.

00:08:23.720 It actually starts to hint at a problem

00:08:26.640 with diversity as the highest possible value.

00:08:30.520 Because if you have nothing holding you all together

00:08:34.920 as a society,

00:08:35.840 then you're not going to be able to have shared festivals.

00:08:40.040 You're not going to be able to have

00:08:41.580 any shared ritual at all.

00:08:43.840 It'll be misinterpreted.

00:08:45.620 You won't have the ability

00:08:46.880 to interpret anything you're saying

00:08:48.460 because you're going to be speaking different languages.

00:08:50.260 You're going to have totally different sets of beliefs.

00:08:51.980 You're going to value totally different things.

00:08:53.880 That is actually a problem with diversity.

00:08:57.040 So in the United States,

00:08:59.060 it used to be the case

00:08:59.880 that when we would take people in,

00:09:01.240 we would just insist that they assimilate to our culture 1.00

00:09:04.120 and share our beliefs

00:09:05.620 and just get with the program

00:09:06.640 and drop their native languages

00:09:07.980 and drop their native traditions

00:09:09.760 and just get on board with what we're doing.

00:09:12.520 And if that's the case,

00:09:13.640 then you don't need to worry about 0.99

00:09:14.720 potentially offending the indigenous black lesbian 1.00

00:09:17.500 Muslim pygmy 1.00

00:09:18.440 that doesn't like your Frankenstein costume 1.00

00:09:21.580 for whatever reason.

00:09:22.580 Because you say,

00:09:23.280 look, this is what we do.

00:09:24.240 You come to this country.

00:09:25.420 You get on board.

00:09:26.300 You do what we do.

00:09:26.800 You don't like it, leave.

00:09:27.600 Then don't come.

00:09:29.000 We're not begging you to come here.

00:09:30.980 You're the one who begged to come. 0.85

00:09:31.920 So, you know, get on board with the program.

00:09:35.400 But if your country exalts diversity

00:09:37.960 as an end unto itself,

00:09:39.620 if your country believes that any kind of conformity,

00:09:44.420 especially a conformity to the native culture,

00:09:46.720 is a bad thing,

00:09:47.880 then you're not going to be able to do that.

00:09:50.580 And then it's just all going to be super lame.

00:09:52.500 It's not even that you're going to

00:09:55.320 just come to a new agreement

00:09:57.660 on what costumes are acceptable.

00:09:59.140 You're going to just completely obliterate

00:10:01.260 the old festival.

00:10:02.700 And what you will replace it with

00:10:04.280 is not new forms of Halloween costumes.

00:10:07.820 You'll replace it with new festivals.

00:10:10.240 So we no longer have Halloween.

00:10:13.180 We no longer have Thanksgiving.

00:10:16.020 That's an indigenous people's day.

00:10:18.140 We no longer have Columbus Day.

00:10:19.260 That's another indigenous people's day. 1.00

00:10:21.360 We no longer have Christmas.

00:10:23.420 That's not allowed now in the public square.

00:10:26.300 Or at least the liberals really want to keep it

00:10:27.940 out of the public square.

00:10:28.600 And instead, what do we have?

00:10:29.920 We have Pride Month.

00:10:32.840 We have Earth Day.

00:10:34.240 We have all these other festivals

00:10:35.600 that the liberals insist upon.

00:10:38.120 Which is super lame.

00:10:39.560 It's just as lame as everything

00:10:40.700 that Disney is doing.

00:10:42.720 Now, speaking of ending things,

00:10:45.660 there is a candidate who has finally dropped out

00:10:48.820 of the presidential race.

00:10:50.480 Who is it?

00:10:50.940 Is it Asa Hutchinson?

00:10:52.580 Is it Doug Burgum?

00:10:54.520 Is it Chris Christie?

00:10:55.560 No, it's the former vice president

00:10:58.860 of the United States, Mike Pence.

00:11:01.300 I just couldn't sit this one out.

00:11:05.360 But the Bible tells us

00:11:07.040 that there's a time for every purpose under heaven.

00:11:10.580 I'm traveling across the country

00:11:13.760 over the past six months.

00:11:16.360 I came here to say it's become clear to me.

00:11:20.400 This is not my time.

00:11:21.740 So after much prayer and deliberation,

00:11:27.480 I have decided to suspend my campaign

00:11:30.760 for president effective today.

00:11:32.580 This is the mature thing to do.

00:11:36.640 Pence was giving a speech

00:11:37.700 in front of the Republican Jewish Coalition.

00:11:39.580 There were a lot of other candidates

00:11:41.020 who were speaking before that group.

00:11:42.940 And so Pence says,

00:11:44.200 okay, this is as good a time as any

00:11:45.500 to say I'm dropping out of the race.

00:11:47.960 The fact that Doug Burgum

00:11:50.960 has made it longer in this race

00:11:52.640 than Mike Pence has is a scandal.

00:11:56.080 But neither of them are going to become president.

00:11:58.260 And so what Mike Pence is doing here

00:11:59.640 is what Scott Walker did in 2016,

00:12:01.220 which is to say,

00:12:03.420 okay, I gave it a good shot.

00:12:05.420 I was in early,

00:12:06.800 but there's no path to victory here.

00:12:09.840 And so I could drag it out

00:12:11.160 and get more publicity time

00:12:12.680 and take a few more shots at Trump

00:12:14.060 and maybe audition for a cable news gig

00:12:16.940 or something.

00:12:17.560 But no, I don't want to do that.

00:12:18.920 If I'm not going to be president, I'm out.

00:12:20.660 And that's what Scott did in 2016.

00:12:22.240 That's what Mike Pence is doing here.

00:12:23.740 A very mature thing to do.

00:12:25.620 What a lot of anti-Trump Republicans

00:12:30.140 are hoping for here

00:12:31.280 is that this will be the beginning

00:12:33.260 of the other also-rans dropping out

00:12:37.700 and therefore consolidating support

00:12:40.080 against Donald Trump.

00:12:42.100 But there's a little problem

00:12:43.240 with that strategy,

00:12:44.260 which was proven on the very same day

00:12:46.740 that Pence dropped out.

00:12:47.740 And we'll get to that in one second.

00:12:48.620 First, though,

00:12:49.800 you know, Mike Pence is a very pro-life guy.

00:12:51.760 And I'm a pro-life guy.

00:12:52.840 And a lot of you are extremely pro-life.

00:12:54.700 I hope all of you will become pro-life.

00:12:56.800 But one of the great organizations out there

00:12:58.800 helping women and advancing the cause of life

00:13:00.780 is Preborn.

00:13:02.620 Right now, go to preborn.com slash Knowles.

00:13:04.400 Did you know that Margaret Sanger,

00:13:05.940 the founder of Planned Parenthood,

00:13:07.160 was a eugenicist?

00:13:08.700 Well, if not,

00:13:09.280 I would recommend you look into her background.

00:13:11.520 When you see the disproportionate number

00:13:13.160 of abortion clinics 0.67

00:13:14.220 located in black neighborhoods, 0.90

00:13:15.880 it says it all. 0.91

00:13:16.920 Thankfully, Preborn exists 0.98

00:13:18.320 to bring mothers and babies together

00:13:20.100 by providing free ultrasounds

00:13:22.060 and many other amazing resources

00:13:23.400 to expecting mothers.

00:13:25.060 All services are free

00:13:26.120 and assistance is provided

00:13:27.660 for up to two years.

00:13:28.920 Preborn is truly life-changing,

00:13:30.680 but don't just take my word for it.

00:13:31.820 Listen to this powerful testimonial.

00:13:34.260 I was sobbing.

00:13:35.900 It was a cry for prayer for God.

00:13:38.720 I'm so sorry, please.

00:13:40.460 So I got on the internet

00:13:41.460 and I looked up,

00:13:42.820 how can you stop an abortion 0.99

00:13:44.440 from only taking the first pill?

00:13:46.180 And I just started seeing like

00:13:47.540 abortion pill reverse. 1.00

00:13:49.040 Is this real?

00:13:49.480 And I found a hotline number.

00:13:51.240 So I'm like,

00:13:51.980 please, God,

00:13:52.860 let me call this number, be real.

00:13:53.980 I called it

00:13:54.600 and somebody actually answered the phone.

00:13:56.300 Miss, I really need help.

00:13:58.020 I mistakenly took a pill

00:13:59.360 and I'm so scared.

00:14:00.180 I don't know what to do.

00:14:00.960 Please.

00:14:01.280 I just was like panicking.

00:14:02.800 They get me started immediately

00:14:04.420 on progesterone

00:14:05.760 and told me everything.

00:14:07.120 Like, it's going to be okay.

00:14:08.780 When I came here,

00:14:09.920 it was,

00:14:10.580 my heart was so warm.

00:14:12.420 Somebody would go as hard

00:14:13.820 as if it was their children

00:14:15.140 to make sure

00:14:15.840 your child is going to be alive

00:14:18.060 and stay safe.

00:14:19.320 So I really want it.

00:14:20.460 I want a lot of people to know

00:14:22.040 it's possible.

00:14:23.980 You can save your baby.

00:14:25.160 You can reverse that abortion.

00:14:27.620 Preborn needs us,

00:14:29.120 the pro-life community,

00:14:29.860 to stand up

00:14:30.620 for the babies and mothers

00:14:32.100 who need our help.

00:14:32.860 One ultrasound is just $28

00:14:34.200 and $140

00:14:36.040 will help rescue five babies.

00:14:38.280 Preborn has a 100% charity rating

00:14:41.000 so you can give with confidence.

00:14:43.700 Let's join together

00:14:44.620 and help mothers in crisis

00:14:45.600 choose life.

00:14:46.420 Just dial pound 250,

00:14:47.740 say the keyword baby.

00:14:49.380 That's pound 250,

00:14:51.520 say baby, 0.93

00:14:52.580 or visit preborn.com

00:14:54.720 slash Knowles,

00:14:55.360 K-N-W-L-E-S. 1.00

00:14:56.620 That is preborn.com

00:14:58.180 slash Knowles,

00:14:59.440 K-N-W-L-E-S. 1.00

00:15:01.220 So the theory is

00:15:02.600 Pence drops out.

00:15:03.760 Pretty soon,

00:15:04.240 all the other also-rans 1.00

00:15:05.200 are going to drop out

00:15:06.060 and that's going to consolidate

00:15:07.160 the race down to just one

00:15:08.720 or two or maybe three

00:15:10.040 anti-Trump candidates.

00:15:12.520 And then with all that

00:15:13.560 extra support,

00:15:14.180 they're going to bring

00:15:14.620 a real challenge

00:15:15.380 to Donald Trump.

00:15:16.380 They're going to kick him out

00:15:17.340 of his top spot

00:15:18.220 for the Republican nomination

00:15:19.400 and then everything

00:15:21.880 will be hunky-dory.

00:15:23.440 The reason I'm skeptical

00:15:24.680 of that strategy is

00:15:25.960 Pence wasn't the only person

00:15:27.120 to drop out of the race

00:15:27.940 over the weekend.

00:15:28.920 Our pal Larry Elder

00:15:29.960 also dropped out of the race.

00:15:31.780 Larry failed to make it

00:15:33.920 to the debates.

00:15:35.520 He almost made it

00:15:36.260 to the first debate.

00:15:37.940 Unfortunately,

00:15:38.600 the poll that had him

00:15:39.960 above the threshold

00:15:41.120 did not count

00:15:42.260 because it had done work

00:15:43.260 with Donald Trump.

00:15:44.180 So Larry was excluded

00:15:46.040 kind of on a technicality

00:15:47.700 and the campaign

00:15:48.860 wasn't going to go anywhere.

00:15:49.960 So Larry drops out.

00:15:51.580 But when Larry dropped out,

00:15:52.740 unlike Mike Pence,

00:15:54.760 Larry endorsed Donald Trump.

00:15:57.760 He says,

00:15:58.340 it is time to unite behind

00:15:59.540 real Donald Trump

00:16:00.380 to beat Joe Biden.

00:16:03.020 So, okay, Pence is out,

00:16:04.220 obviously not endorsing Trump.

00:16:06.440 Larry is out.

00:16:07.480 He's endorsing Trump.

00:16:08.400 The question is,

00:16:10.440 who will the other candidates

00:16:11.640 endorse when they

00:16:12.840 inevitably drop out?

00:16:15.360 Chris Christie's not

00:16:16.440 going to endorse Trump.

00:16:18.520 What about Doug Burgum?

00:16:20.900 I don't know.

00:16:21.520 I don't know who Burgum's

00:16:22.340 going to endorse.

00:16:23.260 What about Asa Hutchinson?

00:16:26.340 Probably he won't endorse Trump.

00:16:28.600 So he could give his support

00:16:30.240 to the non-Trump candidate.

00:16:32.200 What about,

00:16:33.440 oh, I don't know,

00:16:35.340 Tim Scott?

00:16:36.040 I don't know

00:16:36.680 who Tim Scott's

00:16:37.460 going to endorse.

00:16:39.480 Look, maybe Tim Scott

00:16:40.480 gets the nomination.

00:16:41.340 Probably unlikely.

00:16:42.560 I don't know.

00:16:43.940 Would he,

00:16:44.320 if he were to drop out,

00:16:46.060 would Tim Scott

00:16:46.720 endorse Ron DeSantis?

00:16:48.440 Would Tim Scott

00:16:49.260 endorse Nikki Haley?

00:16:51.600 Or would Tim Scott

00:16:52.560 endorse Trump?

00:16:54.180 You don't really know.

00:16:55.440 What about Nikki?

00:16:56.660 If Nikki were to drop out, 0.74

00:16:58.520 would she endorse

00:16:59.100 DeSantis or Trump?

00:17:01.880 A lot of people say,

00:17:02.840 oh, she would endorse DeSantis.

00:17:04.380 I'm not so sure about it.

00:17:05.400 She worked for Donald Trump.

00:17:06.220 She said very nice things

00:17:07.320 about Donald Trump.

00:17:08.140 She said she wouldn't run

00:17:08.900 for president

00:17:09.320 if Trump were running

00:17:09.980 for re-election.

00:17:12.880 If Trump is looking

00:17:14.040 like the stronger candidate,

00:17:15.820 a lot of the also-rans 1.00

00:17:18.000 are going to endorse Trump.

00:17:21.340 As of now,

00:17:22.520 Nikki's going to run 1.00

00:17:23.100 hard against Trump

00:17:23.860 because she wants to take

00:17:24.600 the nomination from him.

00:17:25.560 But if it ever came to the point

00:17:26.760 where she says

00:17:27.180 she's not going to win,

00:17:28.820 I don't know.

00:17:30.160 DeSantis obviously

00:17:31.300 cannot endorse Trump

00:17:32.280 because he has made himself

00:17:34.220 the chief anti-Trump candidate

00:17:35.820 in the race.

00:17:37.260 But if the DeSantis campaign

00:17:39.240 is counting on

00:17:40.740 the other candidates

00:17:42.380 dropping out

00:17:43.220 and just one by one

00:17:44.160 endorsing him,

00:17:44.900 I'm not convinced

00:17:45.620 that's going to happen.

00:17:47.300 Because what would happen

00:17:48.740 is, especially if Trump

00:17:49.600 is still looking dominant

00:17:50.380 in the polls,

00:17:50.940 he'll just offer them something.

00:17:52.160 He'll say,

00:17:52.480 oh, you could be

00:17:53.060 this cabinet position.

00:17:54.560 You could potentially

00:17:55.100 be my running mate.

00:17:56.040 You could do this,

00:17:56.600 that, or the other thing.

00:17:57.340 And politicians

00:17:59.380 are very good

00:18:00.240 at pursuing

00:18:00.720 their own interest.

00:18:02.900 And

00:18:03.200 if they're getting

00:18:05.660 a good offer from Trump,

00:18:06.760 they're not going

00:18:07.180 to endorse DeSantis.

00:18:08.120 So now probably

00:18:09.120 the DeSantis campaign

00:18:10.020 is going to be working

00:18:10.580 behind the scenes

00:18:11.240 trying to get these candidates

00:18:12.400 to drop out to say,

00:18:13.340 if you endorse me,

00:18:14.860 I'll make you

00:18:15.340 Secretary of State

00:18:16.040 if you do this,

00:18:16.660 that, or the other thing.

00:18:17.460 But it's going to be

00:18:18.400 much more persuasive

00:18:19.340 if his polling gets better.

00:18:20.500 So it's a little bit

00:18:21.420 of a catch-22

00:18:24.360 for Ron DeSantis

00:18:25.480 right here.

00:18:26.560 He needs the other

00:18:27.680 candidates to drop out

00:18:28.700 and endorse him

00:18:29.320 for his poll numbers

00:18:30.060 to go up to beat Trump.

00:18:31.540 But the only way

00:18:32.200 he's going to convince them

00:18:32.960 to endorse him

00:18:33.500 is if his poll numbers

00:18:34.180 already start to move up

00:18:35.100 and they think

00:18:35.800 that they've got

00:18:36.220 a surer bet

00:18:37.300 in DeSantis

00:18:38.100 than with Trump.

00:18:39.500 Is that strategy

00:18:40.500 going to work?

00:18:41.000 I'm not convinced.

00:18:41.840 But that is the last-ditch

00:18:43.420 strategy for any

00:18:45.180 anti-Trump candidate

00:18:46.120 is, okay,

00:18:46.980 the anti-Trump candidates

00:18:47.880 need to drop out,

00:18:48.680 consolidate the field

00:18:49.400 around one anti-Trump candidate.

00:18:51.040 I just don't know

00:18:51.980 that that is going to happen.

00:18:53.980 Now, as for the other

00:18:54.820 candidates still in the race,

00:18:55.600 as for Nikki Haley,

00:18:57.480 Nikki just came out,

00:18:59.000 big shot at the

00:19:00.680 educational establishment.

00:19:02.740 She said

00:19:03.160 that these schools

00:19:04.980 that are supporting groups

00:19:07.180 that are supporting

00:19:09.040 Hamas 0.96

00:19:09.660 and terrorism, 0.99

00:19:10.760 we're going to defund them

00:19:12.280 when I'm president.

00:19:13.160 Here's what she said.

00:19:14.340 You can't fight

00:19:15.320 anti-Semitism

00:19:15.940 if you can't define it.

00:19:18.320 Joe Biden and the left

00:19:19.140 refused to call

00:19:19.760 anti-Zionism

00:19:20.720 anti-Semitism.

00:19:21.900 So belief,

00:19:24.380 opposition to the belief

00:19:25.720 that the nation-state

00:19:26.780 of Israel

00:19:27.340 has a right to exist

00:19:28.220 where it exists.

00:19:30.520 If a school

00:19:31.680 won't call that

00:19:33.520 anti-Semitism,

00:19:34.740 so just overt, 0.97

00:19:36.120 bigoted Jew hatred, 0.94

00:19:37.640 then, 0.95

00:19:38.180 as president,

00:19:38.860 I will change

00:19:39.500 the official federal

00:19:40.400 definition of anti-Semitism

00:19:41.800 to include denying

00:19:43.240 Israel's right to exist.

00:19:44.760 And I will pull

00:19:45.620 schools' tax exemption status

00:19:47.180 if they do not combat

00:19:48.620 anti-Semitism

00:19:49.280 in all of its forms

00:19:50.540 in accordance

00:19:51.380 with federal law.

00:19:52.620 College campuses

00:19:53.240 are allowed to have

00:19:53.920 free speech,

00:19:54.660 but they are not free

00:19:55.940 to spread hate

00:19:56.980 that supports terrorism.

00:19:58.240 Federal law requires

00:19:59.060 schools to combat

00:19:59.740 anti-Semitism.

00:20:00.720 We will give this law

00:20:01.500 teeth and we will enforce it.

00:20:02.920 The United States

00:20:03.680 of America

00:20:04.100 will not use taxpayer dollars

00:20:05.340 to fund anti-Semitism,

00:20:06.400 period.

00:20:06.980 The October 7th massacre

00:20:08.100 in Israel

00:20:09.300 and the ensuing weeks

00:20:10.400 have proven

00:20:10.960 what many of us

00:20:11.560 have long known.

00:20:12.040 There is no difference 0.52

00:20:12.780 between anti-Zionism

00:20:13.900 and anti-Semitism.

00:20:15.700 In order to combat

00:20:16.660 anti-Semitism,

00:20:17.440 we have to define it.

00:20:18.440 And that starts at the top.

00:20:19.920 So she's saying

00:20:20.700 opposition to the

00:20:23.840 nation-state of Israel,

00:20:27.460 existential opposition,

00:20:28.840 is tantamount

00:20:29.640 to any other kind

00:20:30.820 of Jew hatred

00:20:31.260 that we've seen

00:20:31.740 throughout all of history.

00:20:32.760 And as president,

00:20:33.520 I'm going to use

00:20:34.460 federal law

00:20:35.160 to stamp that out.

00:20:37.220 And a lot of people

00:20:38.240 are attacking

00:20:39.300 Nikki here

00:20:40.100 for opposing

00:20:41.720 free speech

00:20:42.640 or violating

00:20:43.180 the First Amendment

00:20:44.000 or whatever.

00:20:45.000 But then other people

00:20:45.860 are saying,

00:20:46.180 no, look,

00:20:46.740 it's a school,

00:20:47.560 it's a university,

00:20:48.520 people have free speech,

00:20:49.560 but they don't have

00:20:50.260 the right to federal funding

00:20:51.220 for their free speech.

00:20:52.320 They don't have a right 1.00

00:20:53.100 to materially support terrorism,

00:20:55.840 as some people

00:20:56.580 are calling this.

00:20:59.680 I love the idea

00:21:01.580 in principle.

00:21:02.280 This is exactly

00:21:03.060 what I was talking about

00:21:04.200 in my book,

00:21:04.960 Speechless,

00:21:05.560 Controlling Words,

00:21:06.200 Controlling Minds.

00:21:06.960 My only problem

00:21:08.100 with what Nikki

00:21:08.800 is proposing here is,

00:21:10.520 why stop here?

00:21:12.520 My only problem

00:21:13.780 with what Nikki

00:21:14.300 is proposing here is,

00:21:15.280 it doesn't go

00:21:15.780 nearly far enough.

00:21:18.300 Now,

00:21:18.900 when you want your dog

00:21:23.300 you got to check out

00:21:50.980 I've got a stepbrother

00:21:51.940 who has this dog

00:21:53.160 and, you know,

00:21:54.120 I'm, you know,

00:21:55.400 lukewarm on my stepbrother,

00:21:56.680 but the dog

00:21:57.340 is a nice enough dog

00:21:58.360 and so I made sure

00:21:59.420 to send that dog 0.83

00:22:00.200 some really good stuff

00:22:01.580 from Rough Greens.

00:22:02.800 Just sprinkle

00:22:03.340 Rough Greens

00:22:04.300 on their food every day.

00:22:05.820 Dog owners everywhere

00:22:06.420 are raving

00:22:07.640 about Rough Greens.

00:22:39.860 You have been asking us

00:22:41.080 for an alternative

00:22:41.560 in kids media.

00:22:42.380 It's finally here.

00:22:43.200 The Daily Wire

00:22:43.620 has just launched

00:22:44.280 Bent Key,

00:22:44.800 our brand new

00:22:45.400 kids entertainment platform.

00:22:46.820 We are sick

00:22:47.640 of Hollywood pushing

00:22:48.420 leftist propaganda

00:22:49.340 on our kids

00:22:50.060 and now there's finally

00:22:51.140 an answer for those

00:22:51.880 looking for children's shows

00:22:53.000 that we can trust.

00:22:54.500 Bent Key is dedicated

00:22:55.280 to creating

00:22:55.800 the next generation

00:22:56.660 of timeless stories

00:22:57.480 that transport kids

00:22:58.260 into a world of adventure,

00:22:59.780 imagination,

00:23:00.320 and joy.

00:23:01.020 This is exactly

00:23:01.840 what parents have been

00:23:02.520 waiting for.

00:23:03.260 The content is amazing,

00:23:04.620 it's high quality,

00:23:05.160 it's fun.

00:23:06.380 My kids love it.

00:23:07.880 I could never

00:23:08.540 have imagined

00:23:09.360 that The Daily Wire

00:23:10.200 was going to provide

00:23:10.780 all of this

00:23:11.300 for our members

00:23:12.200 without increasing

00:23:12.920 the annual price

00:23:13.680 of membership.

00:23:14.920 In fact,

00:23:15.240 I suggested that they

00:23:16.040 do increase

00:23:16.640 the annual price

00:23:17.260 of membership

00:23:17.660 because it's

00:23:17.980 very expensive content.

00:23:18.940 But the DW exec said,

00:23:20.720 nope,

00:23:20.980 we're doing it for free.

00:23:22.100 This is the greatest

00:23:22.800 value add

00:23:27.900 which goes to show

00:23:29.000 that we don't just

00:23:29.620 talk about changing culture,

00:23:30.600 we put it into action,

00:23:31.540 we really believe

00:23:50.500 of kids entertainment.

00:23:52.640 So Nikki Haley is saying,

00:23:54.780 anti-Zionism,

00:23:56.440 opposition to the historical

00:23:57.820 movement of Zionism,

00:23:59.440 and the return of Jews

00:24:01.700 from all around the world

00:24:02.660 to the Holy Land

00:24:03.680 and the establishment

00:24:04.240 of the State of Israel,

00:24:05.200 that that is tantamount

00:24:06.000 to Jew hatred,

00:24:06.860 and it's going to spill out

00:24:08.060 into horrific events

00:24:09.160 like we saw on October 7th

00:24:10.560 when Hamas comes over 0.91

00:24:12.040 and exercises a pogrom of Jews, 1.00

00:24:15.880 just slaughters people, 1.00

00:24:16.920 rapes, pillages, 1.00

00:24:18.340 kills, and burns. 0.61

00:24:19.460 And the fact that this

00:24:20.880 is being celebrated

00:24:21.580 on American university campuses

00:24:22.860 means we need to defund

00:24:23.940 these campuses,

00:24:24.960 we need to pull the grants, 0.93

00:24:26.740 it's not a curtailing

00:24:29.180 of free speech,

00:24:29.960 rather it is a refusal

00:24:31.760 to pay for the support

00:24:33.320 of terrorism,

00:24:34.100 we're going to enforce

00:24:34.740 the law to do it.

00:24:35.500 Okay.

00:24:36.580 Tim Scott said a similar thing.

00:24:38.100 Tim Scott said the same thing

00:24:39.000 about Pelgrance

00:24:39.880 and anti-Semitism.

00:24:42.960 My only issue with this

00:24:45.280 is why stop at anti-Semitism?

00:24:50.560 This is the thesis of my book,

00:24:53.800 the book with words.

00:24:54.820 Why?

00:24:57.220 Yes, of course,

00:24:58.520 we have the right

00:24:59.360 to set standards.

00:25:01.080 Yes, of course,

00:25:02.640 we, the people,

00:25:04.060 through our elected representatives,

00:25:05.580 have the right

00:25:06.260 to set norms and standards,

00:25:07.760 and we don't need to tolerate

00:25:08.820 pro-Hamas clubs

00:25:09.760 at universities.

00:25:10.840 Duh.

00:25:12.200 But if we're going to

00:25:12.880 wield this power,

00:25:14.360 why would we not also wield it

00:25:16.060 against the anti-white

00:25:17.380 indoctrination

00:25:18.160 that takes place

00:25:19.040 on every university campus

00:25:20.260 in America

00:25:20.800 that tells students 0.98

00:25:21.820 that whiteness is evil, 1.00

00:25:23.640 that being a white person 1.00

00:25:25.760 is a social pathology 0.99

00:25:27.340 that needs to be abolished, 1.00

00:25:28.660 that white people are evil? 0.99

00:25:30.200 In some cases, 0.99

00:25:30.960 you've had professors

00:25:31.920 describe white people

00:25:33.220 as the ice people.

00:25:34.360 I'm thinking of

00:25:34.740 Professor Jeffries,

00:25:35.600 infamous at CUNY,

00:25:38.160 who's actually,

00:25:38.760 whose nephew is,

00:25:39.780 Hakeem Jeffries now,

00:25:40.620 who's the Democrat leader

00:25:41.680 in the U.S. Congress,

00:25:44.200 that white people 1.00

00:25:45.280 are the evil ice people, 1.00

00:25:46.740 and black people 1.00

00:25:47.300 are the people of the sun,

00:25:48.340 and that's why

00:25:48.780 we need to abolish whiteness. 0.99

00:25:51.020 Why not,

00:25:51.480 if we're going to wield

00:25:52.140 government power

00:25:52.940 to curtail people's opinions

00:25:54.760 and discourage them on campus,

00:25:56.380 why would we stop

00:25:58.200 at anti-Semitism?

00:25:59.740 Certainly,

00:26:00.320 we should keep going

00:26:00.980 to the anti-white indoctrination 0.99

00:26:03.200 that is evil 0.99

00:26:04.500 and base

00:26:05.380 and obviously racist

00:26:06.720 and not fit 0.99

00:26:08.480 for a proper education.

00:26:09.620 What about the anti-male

00:26:10.640 indoctrination?

00:26:12.160 All of these university campuses

00:26:13.560 teach people

00:26:14.200 that masculinity is toxic 0.79

00:26:15.960 and men need to be feared 0.96

00:26:18.280 and frankly gelded

00:26:19.740 if we're going to have

00:26:20.560 a good society.

00:26:21.620 What about the anti-Christian

00:26:22.720 indoctrination

00:26:23.380 that takes place

00:26:23.900 on every university campus

00:26:25.240 in America?

00:26:26.340 How about we start pulling funding

00:26:27.520 because of that, too?

00:26:30.100 While a lot of people

00:26:31.460 on the right

00:26:32.020 are criticizing

00:26:32.880 Nikki and Tim Scott

00:26:34.100 for curtailing free speech

00:26:36.740 in the effort

00:26:37.460 to oppose anti-Semitism,

00:26:39.200 I think we need to recognize

00:26:40.180 that all societies

00:26:41.200 have standards,

00:26:42.100 all societies have norms,

00:26:43.700 and here,

00:26:45.500 while we should obviously

00:26:46.320 oppose anti-Semitism,

00:26:48.280 we should also oppose

00:26:49.440 anti-whiteness,

00:26:50.560 we should also oppose

00:26:51.540 anti-masculinity,

00:26:53.920 anti-manliness,

00:26:54.820 we should certainly oppose

00:26:55.760 anti-Christianity.

00:26:58.600 Let's start,

00:26:59.180 we're going to wield that power,

00:27:00.300 let's wield it, baby.

00:27:01.200 Let's not wield it

00:27:01.940 just a little tiny bit,

00:27:02.820 let's wield it,

00:27:04.640 let's do it with our whole chests.

00:27:06.340 Let's wield it in a way

00:27:07.240 that is in line

00:27:08.980 with the American political tradition

00:27:10.400 and that is conducive

00:27:11.360 to virtue and human flourishing.

00:27:13.520 Now, Governor DeSantis

00:27:15.180 has said a similar thing.

00:27:17.620 He's come out and said,

00:27:18.980 we need to defund

00:27:19.680 these pro-Hamas groups,

00:27:21.060 pro-Palestine groups

00:27:22.240 on college campuses.

00:27:23.220 They're providing material support

00:27:24.500 to terrorism.

00:27:25.760 And that is why

00:27:26.720 when we use the government

00:27:28.400 to shut them up,

00:27:29.820 it's not cancel culture.

00:27:31.920 This is not cancel culture.

00:27:33.600 This group,

00:27:34.900 they themselves said

00:27:36.340 in the aftermath

00:27:37.100 of the Hamas attack

00:27:38.460 that they don't just

00:27:39.780 stand in solidarity,

00:27:41.600 that they are part

00:27:42.720 of this Hamas movement.

00:27:44.680 And so, yeah,

00:27:45.900 you have a right

00:27:46.480 to go out and demonstrate,

00:27:47.700 but you can't provide

00:27:48.500 material support to terrorism.

00:27:50.520 They've linked themselves

00:27:51.740 to Hamas,

00:27:53.060 and so we absolutely

00:27:54.520 decertified them.

00:27:56.080 They should not get

00:27:56.980 one red cent 0.72

00:27:57.920 of taxpayer dollars.

00:27:59.540 And we also have

00:28:00.580 strong laws in Florida

00:28:01.600 against fundraising

00:28:02.540 for groups like Hamas,

00:28:03.840 and we are enforcing

00:28:04.880 those vigorously.

00:28:06.000 That's not a First Amendment issue,

00:28:07.420 that's a material support

00:28:08.620 to terrorism issue.

00:28:09.580 Governor DeSantis

00:28:12.380 is a very smart man.

00:28:13.820 He's generally right

00:28:14.900 on virtually all of the issues,

00:28:16.460 and he's a politician

00:28:18.240 running for president.

00:28:19.940 And so sometimes

00:28:20.880 politicians oversimplify.

00:28:24.440 Sometimes,

00:28:25.280 for the sake of expedience,

00:28:27.220 politicians say things

00:28:28.800 that are not exactly true,

00:28:30.320 but they broadly get

00:28:31.480 the point across in the end.

00:28:33.060 And I think this is

00:28:33.820 one of those instances.

00:28:35.320 I think conservatives

00:28:36.380 are going to twist themselves

00:28:38.580 into a hundred logical knots

00:28:40.680 over trying to explain

00:28:43.360 how wielding government power

00:28:45.420 to censor pro-Palestine

00:28:47.760 liberation groups

00:28:48.840 is not cancel culture.

00:28:51.200 Of course it's cancel culture. 0.82

00:28:53.580 If this is not cancel culture,

00:28:55.060 I do not know

00:28:55.680 what cancel culture is.

00:28:57.640 And that's fine.

00:28:59.120 It's fine, guys.

00:29:01.520 The reason they have to

00:29:02.580 twist themselves into knots

00:29:03.500 is because they spent five years

00:29:04.440 talking about how terrible

00:29:05.140 cancel culture is.

00:29:06.380 But some of us,

00:29:07.140 you know I hate to say

00:29:07.720 I told you so,

00:29:08.260 some of us did not

00:29:09.620 spend five years

00:29:10.660 talking about how terrible

00:29:11.900 cancel culture is.

00:29:12.940 In fact, some of us

00:29:14.020 spent a lot of time

00:29:15.580 talking about how cancel culture

00:29:16.860 is perfectly fine.

00:29:18.420 It's ordinary.

00:29:19.520 It's normal.

00:29:20.660 Cancel culture is just

00:29:22.040 a part of human behavior

00:29:23.580 and political society.

00:29:26.240 That it is not the act

00:29:27.900 of canceling people

00:29:28.940 that is good or bad,

00:29:30.320 but it's what you cancel

00:29:31.520 someone for.

00:29:32.840 If you cancel somebody,

00:29:34.360 if you ruin their reputation,

00:29:35.740 you ostracize them

00:29:36.780 from society,

00:29:37.560 you persecute them, 0.88

00:29:39.700 you drive them out

00:29:41.000 of polite company

00:29:42.160 because they say

00:29:43.620 that men and women

00:29:44.340 are different

00:29:44.880 or because they say

00:29:45.840 that they love their country

00:29:46.880 or because they are Christian,

00:29:49.240 that's bad.

00:29:50.360 But if you ostracize someone

00:29:53.620 and you cancel them

00:29:55.580 and you make them face

00:29:56.960 professional or academic

00:29:58.100 consequences

00:29:58.840 for saying evil things

00:30:00.900 and for doing evil things

00:30:03.000 and supporting,

00:30:04.300 I don't know,

00:30:05.640 terrorists

00:30:06.080 or something like that

00:30:06.760 in this case,

00:30:07.480 that's not a bad thing.

00:30:09.580 That's called

00:30:10.380 having standards.

00:30:11.580 That's called

00:30:12.100 being a society

00:30:13.860 that discerns

00:30:14.600 between good and evil

00:30:15.400 like all societies must.

00:30:16.600 So they're all going

00:30:18.860 to twist themselves

00:30:19.840 into knots.

00:30:20.360 No, no,

00:30:20.780 this isn't cancel culture

00:30:21.960 because when the

00:30:23.640 pro-Palestine liberation groups

00:30:26.080 speak out,

00:30:26.780 their very speech

00:30:27.620 is providing material support

00:30:29.480 to Hamas.

00:30:30.060 Okay, whatever, sure.

00:30:31.460 Whatever helps you guys

00:30:32.720 sleep at night.

00:30:33.280 But it is cancel culture 0.99

00:30:34.260 and you're seeding the argument

00:30:37.260 that it's sometimes good

00:30:38.500 to cancel people

00:30:39.280 and frankly,

00:30:40.360 it is.

00:30:40.940 You're right.

00:30:41.260 I'm glad that it eventually

00:30:44.920 after five years,

00:30:46.120 conservatives have come

00:30:46.920 to admit this fact.

00:30:49.740 So now let's discern

00:30:53.380 between good and bad

00:30:54.280 and right and wrong

00:30:55.060 and true and false

00:30:55.820 and let's wield that power

00:30:58.100 in a just way.

00:30:59.560 The left wields that power

00:31:00.720 in a bad way

00:31:01.660 toward ends

00:31:02.540 that are destructive.

00:31:03.860 We should wield it

00:31:04.880 in a good way

00:31:05.740 toward ends

00:31:06.280 that are edifying.

00:31:07.480 Great example of this

00:31:08.340 just came out

00:31:08.840 of New York City.

00:31:09.480 Here is the classic

00:31:12.480 New Yorker

00:31:13.420 taking umbrage

00:31:15.440 at the fact

00:31:16.340 that some guy

00:31:16.900 was tearing down posters

00:31:18.640 of the missing hostages

00:31:21.440 who were taken by Hamas.

00:31:23.900 I'm telling you.

00:31:24.780 All right.

00:31:25.080 Don't work out.

00:31:25.680 I'm not Jewish. 0.55

00:31:27.040 He's not Jewish. 0.96

00:31:28.040 I don't know if he is or not.

00:31:29.040 It doesn't matter.

00:31:30.620 This is US.

00:31:31.800 This is New York City.

00:31:32.800 You don't have a right

00:31:33.860 to touch that.

00:31:35.080 This is a free country.

00:31:36.380 You can wave

00:31:36.800 your Palestine flag 1.00

00:31:37.760 and say death to the Jews 1.00

00:31:38.780 or America whenever you want. 1.00

00:31:40.120 But we can put a 0.97

00:31:40.860 f***ing sign. 0.97

00:31:41.940 Okay? 0.99

00:31:43.340 Then don't rip that down.

00:31:44.760 You are doing something.

00:31:45.640 You're offending us.

00:31:46.500 Yeah, you are.

00:31:48.880 When you throw that

00:31:49.360 on the floor,

00:31:49.840 you're littering the city.

00:31:50.720 In a minute,

00:31:51.340 I'm going to litter 1.00

00:31:51.800 the f***ing floor with you. 1.00

00:31:53.660 So move the f***ing on. 1.00

00:31:55.100 You have proof 0.89

00:31:55.700 they're not kidnapped. 1.00

00:31:56.820 No, so shut the f*** up. 1.00

00:31:58.240 I know that's what you want. 1.00

00:32:01.400 No way. 0.99

00:32:02.020 Dying the f***ing way. 0.98

00:32:03.640 Come on. 1.00

00:32:03.920 Maybe it's because

00:32:07.240 I am a New Yorker myself,

00:32:08.500 but this kind of reaction,

00:32:10.060 I love it.

00:32:11.600 Now, you know what the nerds 1.00

00:32:13.560 and the eggheads

00:32:15.460 and the ideologues

00:32:16.220 are going to say.

00:32:17.020 Even on the right,

00:32:17.700 they're going to say,

00:32:18.420 actually,

00:32:19.880 that man is threatening

00:32:21.180 that other man's free speech.

00:32:22.760 He's actually,

00:32:23.600 we should be able

00:32:24.220 to have a reasonable debate

00:32:25.400 in the free marketplace

00:32:26.120 of ideas. 1.00

00:32:26.860 Yeah, shut up, nerd. 0.99

00:32:28.900 I like that guy's argument more 1.00

00:32:30.560 when he goes,

00:32:31.300 yeah, you're offending me

00:32:32.640 and I don't like that.

00:32:33.900 So you stop ripping

00:32:34.900 those signs down

00:32:35.820 and on top of offending

00:32:37.280 all of us,

00:32:38.000 you're littering

00:32:38.640 and in a minute,

00:32:39.380 I'm going to litter 0.98

00:32:39.760 your face on the floor 0.98

00:32:40.900 if you don't put it back 0.97

00:32:42.240 and get out of here. 0.98

00:32:43.100 I love it.

00:32:43.940 That's a beautiful thing.

00:32:46.200 That's cancel culture. 0.99

00:32:47.600 That's the good kind

00:32:48.440 of cancel culture.

00:32:49.340 This goes so much deeper

00:32:50.640 than the war

00:32:51.840 in the Middle East.

00:32:52.560 Put the war 0.81

00:32:52.980 in the Middle East.

00:32:54.020 Put the horrific terror attack.

00:32:55.820 Put the terrible situation

00:32:57.180 where hostages

00:32:57.940 are still being held

00:32:58.780 by Hamas.

00:33:00.640 Put all of those

00:33:01.520 particular circumstances

00:33:02.620 aside for a second.

00:33:05.320 This is about

00:33:06.640 the right of communities

00:33:08.420 to set and enforce

00:33:10.340 their own standards.

00:33:12.160 The best thing

00:33:13.020 that guy said there

00:33:13.720 was he goes,

00:33:14.160 you're offending us, 0.95

00:33:15.300 mother effer.

00:33:16.880 And so many conservatives

00:33:18.140 are going to say,

00:33:18.720 well, you know,

00:33:19.920 I don't have an obligation

00:33:22.220 to respect your feelings

00:33:23.360 and actually I can say

00:33:24.620 whatever I want

00:33:25.300 without consequences

00:33:26.060 because we need to just

00:33:27.080 have debates all the time.

00:33:28.480 No, that's not really

00:33:29.400 how political society works.

00:33:32.300 We have the right

00:33:33.200 to sensibilities.

00:33:34.460 We have the right

00:33:35.320 to preferences,

00:33:36.080 not just individual preferences

00:33:37.260 and sensibilities,

00:33:38.260 but communal preferences

00:33:39.600 and sensibilities.

00:33:41.100 We have the right

00:33:42.020 to standards

00:33:43.900 and behavior.

00:33:46.020 And that guy,

00:33:47.100 that classic New Yorker

00:33:48.760 just coming out,

00:33:49.920 he's like,

00:33:50.140 keep it up,

00:33:50.740 watch,

00:33:51.120 one more time,

00:33:51.900 I'm going to show you

00:33:52.460 what I'm going to do.

00:33:53.820 That is actually

00:33:54.960 the right attitude.

00:33:55.900 It reminds me

00:33:56.480 of that base level

00:33:57.740 of conservatism

00:33:58.700 that even,

00:33:59.840 we think of New York

00:34:00.520 as being very left-wing.

00:34:02.320 There is a base level

00:34:03.500 of conservatism

00:34:04.360 to a lot of New Yorkers.

00:34:07.880 You see it right now.

00:34:10.420 In New York,

00:34:12.180 immigration is threatening 1.00

00:34:13.620 the whole city

00:34:14.240 because as this flood

00:34:17.220 of migrants comes across,

00:34:18.480 as we're going to take in,

00:34:19.220 what,

00:34:19.320 three,

00:34:19.540 four million illegal immigrants

00:34:20.580 this year,

00:34:21.020 a lot of them

00:34:22.380 are going to New York

00:34:23.120 and even the liberal

00:34:23.780 Democrats are saying

00:34:24.560 this is a big threat

00:34:25.340 to the whole city.

00:34:26.940 There was a poll

00:34:27.380 that just came out.

00:34:29.140 A large and growing

00:34:30.460 majority of New Yorkers

00:34:31.660 say that the illegal immigrants 0.99

00:34:33.640 pose a,

00:34:34.640 quote,

00:34:34.700 serious problem.

00:34:37.280 Almost 60% agree

00:34:38.740 with the mayor,

00:34:39.980 liberal Democrat mayor

00:34:40.920 Eric Adams,

00:34:41.860 who says that

00:34:43.080 the migrants 0.88

00:34:43.980 could,

00:34:44.840 quote,

00:34:44.940 destroy New York City.

00:34:46.640 This is according

00:34:47.060 to a Siena College poll.

00:34:48.820 And this shouldn't

00:34:51.320 be all that shocking.

00:34:53.000 One,

00:34:53.460 New Yorkers have

00:34:54.000 a base level

00:34:54.500 of conservatism

00:34:55.240 largely because

00:34:55.900 of foul-mouthed 0.99

00:34:57.100 Italians. 0.98

00:34:58.100 But two,

00:35:00.600 immigration

00:35:01.120 was always

00:35:01.780 a bipartisan issue.

00:35:04.260 It's only become

00:35:05.420 hyper-partisan

00:35:06.740 in the last

00:35:07.320 10 to 15 years

00:35:09.020 where you had

00:35:10.120 the Democrats

00:35:11.000 saying that

00:35:12.340 we need no limits

00:35:13.060 on immigration

00:35:13.600 whatsoever.

00:35:14.680 We need totally

00:35:15.960 unrestricted

00:35:16.960 legal immigration.

00:35:17.740 And frankly,

00:35:19.300 we need totally

00:35:19.880 unrestricted

00:35:20.640 illegal immigration

00:35:21.760 too.

00:35:23.260 And the Republicans

00:35:23.880 saying,

00:35:24.560 well,

00:35:24.680 actually,

00:35:25.000 the best the Republicans

00:35:25.800 could muster was,

00:35:26.520 hey,

00:35:26.680 stop that illegal

00:35:27.440 immigration,

00:35:28.200 but we can still

00:35:28.740 take millions

00:35:29.220 and millions

00:35:29.580 more legal immigrants.

00:35:30.980 But you still

00:35:32.160 have that problem

00:35:32.700 of assimilation.

00:35:33.720 So now things

00:35:34.360 are finally

00:35:35.040 getting back

00:35:35.540 to normal.

00:35:36.460 Back in the 1990s,

00:35:37.560 Bill Clinton

00:35:37.980 was,

00:35:39.560 at least he talked

00:35:40.500 very tough

00:35:41.300 on illegal immigration.

00:35:43.240 So this is

00:35:43.560 obviously terrible.

00:35:44.480 But Republicans

00:35:44.900 and Democrats

00:35:45.320 agreed.

00:35:46.160 And then it

00:35:46.520 became a partisan

00:35:47.160 ideological issue

00:35:48.020 for a while.

00:35:49.120 And as long

00:35:50.040 as the consequences

00:35:51.660 of mass migration

00:35:52.940 were only being

00:35:53.780 felt in those

00:35:54.260 border towns,

00:35:55.120 only in those

00:35:55.620 awful red states,

00:35:57.140 the Democrats

00:35:58.080 didn't care.

00:35:59.020 Now that the 0.54

00:36:00.100 illegal immigrants

00:36:00.780 are being sent

00:36:01.440 by people like

00:36:02.120 Governor Abbott

00:36:02.580 of Texas

00:36:03.000 or Governor

00:36:03.400 DeSantis

00:36:03.780 of Florida,

00:36:04.580 being sent

00:36:04.940 to Martha's

00:36:05.440 Vineyard,

00:36:06.120 being sent

00:36:06.520 to New York

00:36:06.840 City,

00:36:07.520 being sent

00:36:07.860 to Chicago,

00:36:09.360 being sent

00:36:09.780 to Rehoboth

00:36:10.140 Beach,

00:36:10.500 Delaware,

00:36:11.120 now all of a

00:36:11.880 sudden,

00:36:13.100 the majority

00:36:13.720 of everyone

00:36:14.400 is agreeing,

00:36:15.660 oh,

00:36:15.800 wow,

00:36:15.900 this poses

00:36:16.360 a serious

00:36:16.900 problem.

00:36:17.560 Of course.

00:36:19.500 Of course.

00:36:20.340 This actually,

00:36:21.180 I know we

00:36:21.600 consider immigration

00:36:22.520 now to be a

00:36:23.300 really hot-button

00:36:24.260 issue that no

00:36:24.840 one wants to

00:36:25.320 touch.

00:36:26.040 There has,

00:36:27.100 for most of

00:36:28.100 American history,

00:36:28.720 been broad

00:36:29.540 bipartisan

00:36:30.240 consensus on

00:36:31.660 how too much

00:36:32.280 migration is a 1.00

00:36:33.120 very bad thing.

00:36:33.980 And it seems

00:36:34.520 that that

00:36:34.820 consensus is

00:36:35.560 coming back

00:36:36.100 again.

00:36:37.580 Now,

00:36:38.320 when you

00:36:39.160 want to

00:36:39.440 stop not

00:36:41.540 bad political

00:36:43.240 issues but

00:36:43.920 just bad

00:36:44.620 pathogen

00:36:45.920 issues from

00:36:46.640 infecting your

00:36:47.420 environment,

00:36:53.100 that the

00:36:53.380 flu season

00:36:53.960 costs Americans

00:36:54.820 over $11

00:36:55.380 billion,

00:36:56.240 billion,

00:36:56.800 with a B,

00:36:57.640 dollars every

00:36:58.380 year?

00:36:58.780 Kids get sick,

00:36:59.580 they miss

00:37:01.320 take care of

00:37:01.740 their kids,

00:37:55.560 My favorite

00:37:56.020 comment on

00:37:56.640 Friday is from

00:37:57.180 Ulysses Sterling

00:37:58.040 8659 who says,

00:37:59.520 the silly thing

00:38:00.260 about the

00:38:00.660 Greta AI

00:38:01.820 is that it's so 0.97

00:38:03.220 silly that her 0.96

00:38:05.040 followers would 0.99

00:38:05.680 agree.

00:38:06.040 That's so true.

00:38:06.800 The Greta AI

00:38:07.880 was where she,

00:38:08.940 you know,

00:38:09.140 was developed

00:38:09.680 just by some

00:38:11.020 random computer,

00:38:11.820 but it looked

00:38:12.200 real and convincing,

00:38:13.340 and she said,

00:38:14.000 we need,

00:38:14.460 when we supply

00:38:15.160 the people in

00:38:15.860 war,

00:38:16.460 we need

00:38:16.880 vegan grenades,

00:38:18.340 we need

00:38:19.180 low emission

00:38:20.200 tanks,

00:38:22.160 we need,

00:38:22.860 and you're so

00:38:23.980 right,

00:38:24.580 that it took me

00:38:25.640 about halfway through

00:38:26.360 to realize it was

00:38:27.060 fake,

00:38:27.700 but what's even

00:38:28.340 spookier is that

00:38:29.080 some of her

00:38:29.460 followers might

00:38:30.880 not have known,

00:38:31.500 because they would

00:38:31.840 probably say those

00:38:32.640 things earnestly.

00:38:33.840 speaking of guns

00:38:35.540 and weapons,

00:38:37.600 The View,

00:38:38.220 the ladies of

00:38:38.780 The View,

00:38:40.120 have an important

00:38:41.080 lesson to teach

00:38:41.840 you about the

00:38:44.340 power of the

00:38:45.740 AR-15 and its

00:38:47.820 uses in hunting.

00:38:48.900 I would love to

00:38:49.660 see an assault

00:38:50.200 weapons ban.

00:38:50.900 Like President

00:38:51.700 Reagan,

00:38:52.020 I don't believe

00:38:52.700 they're a sport

00:38:53.380 or hunting

00:38:53.960 instrument.

00:38:55.900 It's like shooting

00:38:56.380 fish in a bucket,

00:38:57.220 but that's my take.

00:38:57.940 But also,

00:38:58.420 if you shoot

00:38:58.880 with an AR-15,

00:38:59.940 let's say you 0.96

00:39:00.380 shoot a deer,

00:39:01.120 you can't eat it, 1.00

00:39:02.400 because you

00:39:03.180 basically demolished

00:39:04.120 the animal.

00:39:04.340 In addition to

00:39:04.480 that,

00:39:04.700 but the hunt

00:39:05.120 is about

00:39:05.640 an actual

00:39:06.240 difficult process,

00:39:07.160 not massacring

00:39:07.960 bodies of any

00:39:08.740 kind.

00:39:09.240 But my point

00:39:09.920 is I'd love

00:39:10.360 to see that.

00:39:12.140 Joy Behar

00:39:12.800 seems to be

00:39:13.500 confusing

00:39:14.020 an AR-15

00:39:15.580 with a rocket

00:39:17.260 launcher.

00:39:18.200 She seems

00:39:20.120 to be confusing

00:39:21.060 an AR-15

00:39:22.840 with a landmine

00:39:24.500 that would

00:39:25.640 just explode

00:39:26.400 the deer.

00:39:28.620 Ironically,

00:39:29.260 she's somewhat

00:39:30.520 correct in what

00:39:31.540 she said.

00:39:32.140 She said, 0.98

00:39:32.460 if you shoot

00:39:32.800 a deer with 0.72

00:39:33.160 an AR-15,

00:39:34.200 you won't be

00:39:34.760 able to eat

00:39:35.200 it.

00:39:35.800 And that

00:39:36.280 might be

00:39:36.920 true,

00:39:37.540 because the

00:39:37.980 deer might

00:39:38.380 get away, 0.97

00:39:39.380 because the

00:39:40.980 AR-15 round,

00:39:42.200 the 223,

00:39:43.480 is probably

00:39:45.000 too weak

00:39:46.360 to at least

00:39:47.660 to humanely

00:39:48.340 hunt deer.

00:39:49.820 And actually,

00:39:50.460 certain places

00:39:50.880 have restrictions

00:39:51.460 on the AR-15

00:39:52.420 for hunting

00:39:52.720 deer for

00:39:53.000 precisely that

00:39:53.640 reason.

00:39:54.180 Not because

00:39:54.680 it's going to

00:39:55.060 explode the deer,

00:39:56.140 not because

00:39:56.560 it's,

00:39:56.920 I don't know,

00:39:57.720 it's like

00:39:58.120 a heat-seeking

00:39:59.260 missile that

00:40:00.100 just explodes

00:40:01.620 and splatters

00:40:02.260 venison all

00:40:03.240 over the

00:40:03.500 place,

00:40:04.000 but because

00:40:04.760 it's a little

00:40:06.860 weak.

00:40:07.200 It's a lot

00:40:07.520 weaker than

00:40:07.960 these people

00:40:08.340 think.

00:40:08.560 They have

00:40:08.780 no idea,

00:40:09.920 which gets

00:40:11.140 to what I

00:40:11.780 think is

00:40:12.580 beneath a lot

00:40:13.680 of the political

00:40:14.180 dysfunction that

00:40:14.820 we have right

00:40:15.240 now,

00:40:15.560 which is not

00:40:16.840 just evil

00:40:17.880 ideology or

00:40:19.660 the tolerance

00:40:21.640 and encouragement

00:40:22.560 of vice and

00:40:23.280 sin,

00:40:23.620 all of which

00:40:25.200 contribute to

00:40:25.880 our political

00:40:26.280 problems.

00:40:27.960 But the

00:40:28.640 problem of

00:40:29.140 blithe

00:40:29.720 ignorance, 0.65

00:40:31.080 the fact that 0.99

00:40:32.100 people are

00:40:32.520 just so

00:40:33.060 casually,

00:40:35.520 happily,

00:40:36.960 indifferent

00:40:37.400 to knowledge

00:40:39.280 and the

00:40:39.880 truth and

00:40:40.940 skill,

00:40:41.960 it's astounding.

00:40:45.020 You can't,

00:40:45.560 you can't run a

00:40:47.980 society on bad

00:40:49.280 ideology.

00:40:49.760 It's not

00:40:50.200 going to work

00:40:50.560 out in the

00:40:50.900 end.

00:40:51.620 You also

00:40:52.220 can't just

00:40:53.140 run a

00:40:53.500 society on

00:40:54.020 ideology.

00:40:54.780 You need

00:40:55.360 to possess

00:40:56.000 some degree

00:40:57.500 of technical

00:40:58.700 knowledge and

00:40:59.880 competence to

00:41:00.920 run a society.

00:41:02.160 It's not

00:41:02.980 enough just

00:41:03.660 to read

00:41:04.100 Karl Marx or

00:41:05.680 just to

00:41:06.180 read Edmund

00:41:07.600 Burke or 0.98

00:41:08.280 Aristotle for

00:41:09.080 that matter.

00:41:10.000 You also need

00:41:11.160 to know how

00:41:11.760 to do

00:41:12.800 plumbing.

00:41:13.840 You also

00:41:14.700 need to

00:41:15.160 know how

00:41:16.180 to grow

00:41:16.560 food.

00:41:17.660 You also

00:41:18.240 need to

00:41:18.680 know how

00:41:19.740 to

00:41:20.340 perform the

00:41:22.860 basic functions

00:41:23.600 of a society

00:41:24.300 and a

00:41:25.440 society that

00:41:26.420 doesn't know

00:41:27.220 how guns

00:41:27.900 work,

00:41:29.160 a society

00:41:29.680 that doesn't

00:41:30.320 know how

00:41:31.460 human beings

00:41:32.260 relate to

00:41:32.880 animals,

00:41:33.820 certainly as

00:41:34.740 it regards

00:41:35.300 food production,

00:41:36.460 that society

00:41:37.140 is not going

00:41:37.600 to do well.

00:41:39.600 And you

00:41:40.380 add on top

00:41:40.960 of that

00:41:41.480 bizarre

00:41:42.560 ideologies.

00:41:43.460 Well, I

00:41:43.680 guess actually

00:41:44.240 the Blythe

00:41:45.520 ignorance is a

00:41:46.360 consequence of

00:41:47.200 the ideological

00:41:48.340 age.

00:41:49.740 which tells

00:41:50.420 people that

00:41:50.920 when they

00:41:51.400 go to

00:41:51.660 school,

00:41:51.920 they don't

00:41:52.120 need to

00:41:52.400 learn anything

00:41:53.360 real or

00:41:55.580 substantive.

00:41:56.680 They can

00:41:57.400 just read

00:41:58.220 a bunch of

00:41:59.980 theories

00:42:00.400 disconnected

00:42:00.960 from reality.

00:42:02.480 They can

00:42:03.120 just major

00:42:03.700 in gender

00:42:04.420 studies,

00:42:04.900 to use an

00:42:05.460 oft-cited

00:42:05.980 example,

00:42:06.700 and that

00:42:07.160 will prepare

00:42:07.680 them for

00:42:08.360 life.

00:42:08.840 It will

00:42:09.400 not do

00:42:10.620 so.

00:42:12.280 That's what

00:42:12.860 we get on

00:42:13.280 The View.

00:42:14.080 Now, speaking

00:42:14.520 of what people

00:42:15.140 watch on TV,

00:42:16.340 there is a poll

00:42:17.080 that is surprising

00:42:17.700 some people,

00:42:18.260 but not me,

00:42:19.120 that shows

00:42:19.460 that Gen Z, 0.99

00:42:20.540 the Zoomers,

00:42:21.600 want fewer 0.65

00:42:22.800 sex scenes

00:42:23.780 in movies

00:42:24.280 and TV.

00:42:25.760 What's wrong

00:42:26.400 with these

00:42:26.700 kids?

00:42:27.280 They don't

00:42:27.620 want to see

00:42:28.220 a bunch 0.99

00:42:28.600 of sex 0.97

00:42:29.040 and stuff? 0.94

00:42:29.620 No, they 1.00

00:42:30.000 don't. 0.67

00:42:30.500 You fuddy

00:42:31.140 daddy kids.

00:42:32.560 You can just

00:42:32.980 hear the voice

00:42:33.780 of Gen X

00:42:34.960 and the

00:42:35.740 boomers,

00:42:36.260 and maybe

00:42:36.540 even the

00:42:36.880 millennials now.

00:42:38.240 You can hear

00:42:38.660 that voice

00:42:39.280 of the

00:42:40.180 perpetually

00:42:40.840 cool,

00:42:41.720 you know,

00:42:42.380 everyone from

00:42:42.960 the Woodstock

00:42:43.500 generation

00:42:44.080 down to my

00:42:44.920 own generation.

00:42:45.520 They say,

00:42:45.940 man,

00:42:46.300 you don't

00:42:46.540 want to 0.55

00:42:46.800 see sex? 0.99

00:42:48.060 Man, 0.99

00:42:48.420 sex is cool. 0.98

00:42:49.200 You guys 0.98

00:42:49.560 are square.

00:42:51.100 What do you

00:42:51.780 mean?

00:42:52.080 Why don't

00:42:52.360 you want

00:42:52.580 to see

00:42:52.800 that?

00:42:54.000 I'll tell

00:42:54.360 you exactly

00:42:54.760 why.

00:42:55.760 So this

00:42:56.040 poll finds

00:42:56.700 that in a

00:42:58.580 survey of

00:42:58.920 1,500

00:42:59.320 students,

00:43:00.400 almost half

00:43:01.100 of Zoomers 0.99

00:43:02.020 aged 13

00:43:02.780 to 24

00:43:03.320 said sex 0.98

00:43:04.040 is not

00:43:04.620 needed for

00:43:05.140 most TV

00:43:05.580 shows and

00:43:05.940 movies.

00:43:07.040 A significant

00:43:07.680 amount of

00:43:08.580 people,

00:43:08.860 44%,

00:43:09.620 said that

00:43:10.320 romance is

00:43:10.960 overused

00:43:11.880 as a plot

00:43:12.540 device.

00:43:14.460 Why is

00:43:15.140 that?

00:43:15.320 Well,

00:43:15.520 I'll give

00:43:15.740 you a 0.57

00:43:15.960 related

00:43:16.400 note from

00:43:17.980 that same

00:43:18.340 study,

00:43:18.740 and that

00:43:18.900 might explain

00:43:20.220 what's going

00:43:20.560 on here.

00:43:22.700 In 2023,

00:43:24.180 more participants

00:43:25.300 in the study

00:43:26.280 wanted to

00:43:26.880 see a

00:43:27.880 white man

00:43:28.640 as the

00:43:29.160 hero.

00:43:29.760 Now,

00:43:29.960 it's different

00:43:30.220 from last

00:43:30.680 year.

00:43:31.300 More

00:43:31.480 participants

00:43:31.940 in the

00:43:32.280 study

00:43:32.540 said they

00:43:33.200 wanted to

00:43:33.500 see a 0.98

00:43:33.720 black man

00:43:34.260 as the

00:43:34.560 hero in

00:43:35.300 movies and

00:43:35.700 TV shows.

00:43:36.360 Now,

00:43:36.720 they're saying

00:43:36.960 they want

00:43:37.140 to see a

00:43:37.360 white man

00:43:37.660 as the

00:43:37.860 hero.

00:43:38.020 Why?

00:43:38.240 What's

00:43:38.400 going on?

00:43:38.960 Do these

00:43:39.280 kids hate 0.99

00:43:39.800 sex? 0.99

00:43:40.200 They hate

00:43:40.460 romance?

00:43:41.020 They hate 1.00

00:43:41.400 black people 0.99

00:43:42.340 or something? 0.97

00:43:43.060 No.

00:43:44.220 It gets

00:43:44.560 to exactly

00:43:45.240 what we

00:43:45.540 were talking

00:43:45.920 about at

00:43:46.200 the top

00:43:46.500 of the

00:43:46.740 show.

00:43:49.440 People are

00:43:50.120 being deprived

00:43:51.080 of an

00:43:51.740 important aspect

00:43:52.660 of reality

00:43:53.420 by movies

00:43:54.960 and TV,

00:43:55.600 which are

00:43:55.880 supposed to

00:43:56.400 tell us

00:43:56.840 something about

00:43:58.080 our culture.

00:43:59.660 And because

00:44:00.380 they're being

00:44:01.140 deprived of

00:44:02.200 that aspect

00:44:02.780 of reality,

00:44:03.540 they want

00:44:04.120 more of it.

00:44:04.620 It's not

00:44:04.900 that they

00:44:05.160 don't want

00:44:06.000 relationships.

00:44:07.700 Even that

00:44:08.260 term is so 0.97

00:44:08.800 silly. 0.99

00:44:09.200 It's so 1.00

00:44:09.400 clinical.

00:44:10.140 It's not

00:44:10.460 that they

00:44:10.680 don't want

00:44:10.960 love.

00:44:11.340 It's not

00:44:11.560 that they

00:44:11.760 don't want

00:44:11.980 romance.

00:44:12.400 It's not

00:44:12.600 even that

00:44:12.860 they don't

00:44:13.080 want sex. 0.86

00:44:14.100 But they're 0.99

00:44:14.620 inundated

00:44:15.160 with it.

00:44:15.480 It's

00:44:15.680 everywhere.

00:44:16.420 Everything

00:44:16.780 is sexualized.

00:44:18.560 There's

00:44:18.880 ubiquitous

00:44:19.540 porn.

00:44:20.420 People 0.99

00:44:20.640 dress like

00:44:21.460 they're

00:44:21.900 auditioning

00:44:22.580 for a

00:44:22.820 strip club

00:44:23.340 everywhere

00:44:24.100 in public.

00:44:25.500 And even

00:44:27.400 in the

00:44:27.680 elementary

00:44:27.980 schools now,

00:44:28.540 you've got

00:44:28.800 sexual 0.86

00:44:29.120 indoctrination.

00:44:30.500 You have

00:44:30.740 actual pornography

00:44:31.720 in elementary

00:44:32.440 school libraries

00:44:33.040 now and being

00:44:34.060 assigned by

00:44:34.560 teachers.

00:44:36.100 So we

00:44:37.420 got that.

00:44:37.960 That's taken

00:44:38.420 care of.

00:44:38.940 You know

00:44:39.740 what we

00:44:40.020 don't have

00:44:40.400 in this

00:44:40.640 culture?

00:44:41.900 Any

00:44:42.300 emphasis on

00:44:43.700 friendship.

00:44:44.360 Any emphasis

00:44:44.780 on any

00:44:45.400 kind of

00:44:45.780 non-sexual,

00:44:47.180 non-erotic

00:44:47.900 relationship.

00:44:48.860 And so the

00:44:49.340 Zoomers,

00:44:49.900 who grew up

00:44:50.420 in this 1.00

00:44:50.640 stupid 1.00

00:44:50.880 culture, 1.00

00:44:51.720 come out

00:44:52.020 and they

00:44:52.180 say,

00:44:52.360 yeah,

00:44:52.460 we'd like

00:44:52.780 to see

00:44:53.060 that.

00:44:53.260 How about

00:44:53.440 just like

00:44:53.720 friendship?

00:44:54.200 What is a

00:44:54.740 friend?

00:44:55.820 People are

00:44:56.280 so lonely.

00:44:56.940 They're not

00:44:57.280 lonely because

00:44:57.860 there's any

00:44:58.280 lack of a

00:44:58.780 hookup

00:44:59.020 culture.

00:44:59.580 It's easier

00:45:00.200 to hook

00:45:00.520 up today

00:45:01.000 than it ever

00:45:01.660 has been.

00:45:02.540 But it's

00:45:03.000 very hard

00:45:03.460 to make

00:45:03.720 a friend.

00:45:04.960 That's why

00:45:05.340 they want

00:45:05.580 to see

00:45:05.820 that.

00:45:06.760 Why do

00:45:07.100 more study

00:45:07.520 participants

00:45:07.920 want to

00:45:08.180 see a

00:45:08.360 white man

00:45:08.640 as the

00:45:08.860 hero?

00:45:09.240 Because now,

00:45:10.500 coming out

00:45:10.920 of Hollywood,

00:45:11.580 you never

00:45:11.900 see a

00:45:12.220 white guy

00:45:12.520 as a

00:45:12.820 hero.

00:45:13.060 The white 0.76

00:45:13.300 guy is

00:45:13.500 always the

00:45:13.840 bumbling 1.00

00:45:14.160 idiot or 1.00

00:45:14.840 the villain. 1.00

00:45:16.700 They're only

00:45:17.500 vicious and 0.51

00:45:20.280 persons of 0.71

00:45:21.520 color are

00:45:22.080 perfect and

00:45:22.560 they have no

00:45:22.860 character flaws

00:45:23.400 and they have

00:45:23.640 no complexity

00:45:24.100 of character

00:45:24.500 whatsoever coming

00:45:25.400 out of

00:45:25.640 Hollywood.

00:45:26.900 So when

00:45:27.240 people see

00:45:27.760 that,

00:45:27.940 they say,

00:45:28.140 wait,

00:45:28.240 that's not

00:45:28.520 really how

00:45:29.020 reality works.

00:45:30.060 Reality is,

00:45:30.560 I think,

00:45:30.820 a little more

00:45:31.260 complex than

00:45:31.880 that.

00:45:32.380 And they

00:45:32.720 desire

00:45:33.480 something else.

00:45:34.740 This is the

00:45:35.060 great conservative

00:45:35.680 consolation,

00:45:36.540 as I pointed

00:45:37.080 out before,

00:45:37.640 which is that

00:45:38.120 reality doesn't

00:45:39.620 go away. 0.82

00:45:40.700 Even when you

00:45:41.440 live in a

00:45:41.800 highly ideological

00:45:42.640 age,

00:45:43.060 reality is still

00:45:43.860 there and

00:45:44.540 people at

00:45:45.020 least occasionally

00:45:45.680 brush up with

00:45:46.300 reality and

00:45:47.180 they begin to

00:45:47.740 desire some

00:45:49.500 connection between

00:45:50.720 their political

00:45:52.160 order, the

00:45:52.640 entertainment,

00:45:53.860 the laws,

00:45:55.280 the everything,

00:45:56.680 and reality.

00:45:58.740 That's happening

00:45:59.360 again.

00:46:00.900 It's Music

00:46:01.300 Monday, baby.

00:46:01.780 The rest of the

00:46:02.240 show continues.

00:46:02.800 Now, you do

00:46:03.500 miss it.
