The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1380 - A.I. Women Taking Over Instagram

00:00:00.000 A brand new 25-year-old model is raking in nearly $11,000 per month for her modeling agency in

00:00:07.380 Barcelona, which is somewhat impressive. But it's especially impressive because this hot little

00:00:13.020 Spaniard is not a human. She's a computer model model created by AI to look perfect. 0.97

00:00:21.020 And unlike most developments in AI, which I suspect will degrade us all before wiping out

00:00:26.020 human life entirely, Terminator style, in the case of Aitana, that's her name, it's kind of clever,

00:00:31.440 right? If titillating jobs must exist, I am all for giving them to computers.

00:00:37.360 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:00:56.020 Welcome back to the show. Jeremy is spilling the beans on what a top Hollywood talent agent

00:01:02.940 told all of us years ago ahead of the Lady Baldur's premiere. So we'll get to that in just

00:01:07.560 one second. First, though, I don't want to move off of this hot little Spanish collection 0.88

00:01:12.440 of zeros and ones too quickly. I guess this is my pro-AI week. I'm really into AI this week. I'm not

00:01:20.140 pro-AI generally. I'm pro-human being generally. But in the case of the story yesterday where AI

00:01:26.860 is writing stories for Sports Illustrated, I think that's fine. I think probably AI writes better

00:01:31.960 stories than most journalists. And probably AI is less robotic than most liberal journalists

00:01:37.280 working today. And I think it's good that AI is now taking the job of models, not because I have

00:01:42.680 anything against human models. I actually really care about human models. And because of that,

00:01:48.140 I want them to lose their jobs to computers because modeling generally is terrible for women. 1.00

00:01:54.140 There are some exceptions. There have been some people who have been models and they've gotten

00:01:57.280 out of it and they've gone on to live good lives. But very often they end up being exploited and

00:02:03.580 degraded and treated as an object and a commodity in themselves. And it's just not really good.

00:02:11.480 It's not good at all. And so I think if you're going to have a job where human beings are treated

00:02:17.380 as nothing but flesh for our own titillation and entertainment, then might as well be a computer

00:02:23.860 doing it. Can't really morally degrade a computer. You can do that to a human being.

00:02:29.500 The criticism of the AI supermodels is that it will create unfair standards for other women. This is 0.95

00:02:38.120 being reported by Euronews. Some are worried the unrealistic perfection of these women may make 0.96

00:02:44.580 younger people obsessed with wanting to be perfect. That's a ridiculous criticism because we already 0.91

00:02:50.620 have Photoshop. That's already true. So human women have their pictures taken and then editors go in 1.00

00:02:56.320 and they make them look inhuman by taking away every little wrinkle, every little piece of fat,

00:03:01.640 everything. And so if younger women are dealing with these body dysmorphia issues, that's already 1.00

00:03:09.020 happening. It's just involving actual human beings on the other side of the camera too.

00:03:15.160 In this case, I think it's absolutely great. I've been thinking a lot about this recently because I'm

00:03:20.080 returning to the screen in this movie, Lady Ballers. And I'll tell you, even the craft of acting is giving 0.71

00:03:28.060 me some pause now. Because for my whole life, I thought that there was nothing immoral about acting.

00:03:35.180 I thought it was just kind of strange that for all of human history, actors and models were lumped in

00:03:39.720 with criminals and prostitutes as far as the social classes are concerned. But I'm beginning to

00:03:46.900 understand why, which is that when you are an actor, if you're a good actor, then you are not only

00:03:55.060 hitting your marks and saying your lines, but you are really persuasively conveying the character that

00:04:03.340 you're supposed to play. And the way that we do that in modern life is by really, truly believing

00:04:08.720 the things that we are saying as actors. We are believing the circumstances that we find ourselves

00:04:13.680 in as actors. We are furthermore desiring the things that the character desires. And in so doing,

00:04:21.300 one warps one's own intellect, one's own desire, one's own will, one's own soul.

00:04:28.260 And I don't know that that's great. So I'm not here as the American Taliban issuing a fatwa

00:04:35.180 on all modeling and all acting. But contrary to what you're hearing from everyone, the Lib Actors,

00:04:41.800 Screen Actors Guild, and the conservatives who fear transhumanism and a post-human future,

00:04:49.060 I'm not that upset with computers replacing actors and models. It's probably best of all for

00:04:54.940 the actors and the models. Now, speaking of fake women, new report just broke. Dylan Mulvaney

00:05:02.480 has been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list. Now, the 30 under 30 list is a little misleading,

00:05:11.400 because the list is supposed to be the 30 most impressive people under the age of 30.

00:05:15.140 But it's not really 30 people, because they have all sorts of different categories.

00:05:18.820 So it ends up being a lot of people under 30. Dylan Mulvaney won for the category of creator,

00:05:24.800 influencer. I love that category of creator. No one else on earth creates. It's just people who

00:05:31.100 talk on YouTube. They're the creators. And everyone else, they're just automatons. They're

00:05:35.320 robots. They're like the AI of that Spanish model. Again, maybe this is a contrary take,

00:05:43.140 though this one is entirely self-interested. I am thrilled that Dylan Mulvaney has been named to

00:05:48.660 the 30 under 30. The 30 under 30 is almost always exclusively libs and fashionable,

00:05:53.820 politically correct sort of people and movements. And the fact that Dylan Mulvaney was named to the

00:05:59.520 30 under 30, I think he's the cover of the magazine for the premiere of our movie Lady Ballers,

00:06:06.060 which is a complete send up of the transgender movement, I think is just perfect. I was at 1.00

00:06:12.080 Vanderbilt University last night, and I was giving a speech on settler colonialism. You can find that

00:06:17.280 speech on the YAF YouTube channel. And what do you know? I show up, I start speaking, and a ton of

00:06:24.140 these transvestite activists jump up and start shrieking at me from the audience. And I was a

00:06:30.080 little bit confused, actually, because I didn't see any protesters outside. I guess it was chilly.

00:06:34.940 They don't like physical discomfort. And then I show up into the auditorium. I'm about to give my

00:06:41.700 speech. And they start shrieking. I said, hold on, wait, what are you protesting me for?

00:06:45.860 And they start shrieking. They're protesting me because I said transgenderism isn't real, 1.00

00:06:49.980 which it obviously isn't. And I said, okay, well, anyway, here's my view. It happens to be

00:06:54.540 correct. And they were shrieking and shrieking. And then finally, the cops escorted them out.

00:06:57.960 So there's a lot of attention on this one very bizarre issue. And there will be more attention

00:07:03.440 when our movie premieres this Friday, only for Daily Wire members. That is Lady Ballers this Friday. 0.99

00:08:24.000 today. Speaking of men and women, love and marriage in a baby carriage,

00:08:29.380 a South Korean city is attempting to reverse its birth rate collapse with a novel policy that I

00:08:38.580 think we ought to replicate here, and that is to hold public mass blind dates to boost birth rates.

00:08:46.020 This is the South Korean city of Songnam. They held a mass blind dating event at a hotel on Sunday

00:08:52.900 for the express purpose of getting young people to marry and then have children because South Korea's 0.93

00:08:58.080 birth rates, like so many birth rates around the West, are collapsing. According to one of the

00:09:03.760 participating men, we are facing a real demographic crisis and the government needs to do whatever it 0.99

00:09:07.820 can. I don't understand people complaining over this. I like the idea that this man participating,

00:09:13.340 you know, one of the blind daters, just sits down and he says, hey, baby. Hey, baby, how do you like 0.69

00:09:20.200 your wine? Do you recognize that we have a collapsing birth rate problem and the government

00:09:24.100 demands that we go back to my place and have a fun night? Well, that is a really novel pickup line.

00:09:29.580 I never considered that one back in my derelict days, but that's a pretty good one.

00:09:34.080 Seoul, a better known city in South Korea, almost had the exact same sort of event. They canceled it

00:09:40.180 because there were criticisms that this is a waste of money. I don't see how anyone could say this is

00:09:44.960 a waste of money. It's a little weird. It's a little silly. I'm sure that there will be

00:09:49.780 some curmudgeons out there who say that this is not a good use of taxpayer dollars.

00:09:55.700 This is the most important use of taxpayer dollars. Of all the dumb social programs out there, 0.97

00:10:02.540 this is a program aimed at giving your country the possibility to survive. I mean, just literally 0.98

00:10:09.800 to survive. We sometimes talk about how America's dying. Our culture is dying. We need to save America.

00:10:15.520 Why? Because there's one social fad or another social fad or because some left-wing hobby horse

00:10:21.940 program got cut. In this case, we are talking literally about survival and death. Will there

00:10:27.640 be people in your country or not? And if there aren't people, how are you going to keep the economy

00:10:31.820 afloat? You're going to open up the borders and you're going to flood it with foreigners and then 1.00

00:10:34.660 you're going to lose your country because a country is people. A country is not just an abstract idea

00:10:39.480 floating in outer space. A country is not just the geography and the Purple Mountain's majesty.

00:10:45.020 It's the people and the traditions and the heritage and the lived experience of a nation.

00:10:53.240 So of any program that you're going to spend money on, this is a great one. I am all for it. And it's

00:10:59.960 not just South Korea doing it. Xi Jinping over in China, who I know he's a communist dictator,

00:11:05.660 but as I've pointed out recently, that communist dictator sometimes doesn't sound so communist.

00:11:11.240 In fact, he talks about the importance of economic liberalization in certain places

00:11:14.740 to boost the economy. He sounds like a national conservative in some cases, especially here,

00:11:19.660 when Xi Jinping just recently said, quote, it is necessary to guide women to play their unique role

00:11:25.880 in carrying forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and establishing good family

00:11:30.600 virtues to create a new trend of family civilization. Only with harmonious families,

00:11:34.820 good family education, and correct family traditions can children be raised and society

00:11:39.420 develop in a healthy manner. That is so perfectly stated. That is so obviously correct that Xi Jinping

00:11:48.820 is presenting himself here as a more coherent, normal, conservative figure than basically anyone

00:11:55.860 in the Republican Party in America. What an indictment of the Republican Party in America

00:12:00.360 that we need to look for conservative wisdom to the dictator of communist China. But it's true. 1.00

00:12:07.900 For goodness sakes, think about Xi Jinping's visit to San Francisco. For years in this country,

00:12:12.340 we've been told there's nothing we can do to clean up our cities. We just have to allow druggies to

00:12:16.520 shoot up on the street. By the way, you've heard that even from some so-called conservatives,

00:12:20.920 more libertarian-minded conservatives. But they'll say, the government has no right to tell people not

00:12:26.440 to shoot up drugs. If they want to do it, just don't make me pay for it, blah, blah, blah, whatever.

00:12:32.020 Supposed right-wingers are saying that. But of course, there's nothing conservative about letting

00:12:36.880 addicts die of exposure. There's nothing conservative about finding feces on your sidewalks

00:12:42.140 in your major cities. It's not conservative at all. That's licentious and radical and left-wing.

00:12:47.120 And then you get the dictator of communist China to show up, and all of a sudden,

00:12:50.420 the city looks like it's 1950 again. Goodness sakes. With communists like this, who needs

00:12:57.420 conservatives? And with conservatives like this, who needs communists? Not a bad idea to take note

00:13:02.840 from some of our allies, South Korea, and adversaries, China overseas, both of whom agree 0.87

00:13:08.540 on a basic thing, which is that we need to have more babies. And to have more babies, we need to have

00:13:14.540 a basic understanding of how biology works, how babies are made. Our political elite seem to have

00:13:20.680 missed that lesson in seventh grade health class. We further need to know what marriage is and what 0.99

00:13:25.860 family is. And in order to do that, we need to remember that men and women are different,

00:13:29.700 and they're not able to be substituted one for the other. Men and women are complementary and need

00:13:37.020 one another. And if we forget that fact, then we're not going to have any more kids. We're certainly not

00:13:40.700 going to have stable families, at least. And if we don't have that, we're not going to have a country

00:13:43.520 for very long. The commies get it. The normal

00:13:49.640 kind of foreign conservatives get it. It's just the Americans on both sides of the aisle,

00:13:57.200 though much more pronounced on the left, who don't seem to understand this.

00:14:00.560 Speaking of China, here's some bad stuff going on in China.

00:14:03.960 They're bringing back the masks, and they're bringing back social distancing.

00:14:09.380 This, according to a report from The Sun out of the UK,

00:14:11.760 China has brought back masks, social distancing in a chilling echo of lockdown as they battle a 0.98

00:14:19.100 mystery pneumonia outbreak four years on from COVID. Alarming footage has emerged of mask-wearing

00:14:24.460 crowds inside Chinese hospitals as fears of a new pandemic sweep across the globe. Okay,

00:14:29.460 before I totally lose it, before I melt down in a cascade of fear and trembling,

00:14:35.680 we can remember Asian people have been wearing masks in public for a very long time.

00:14:43.940 Asian people have been wearing masks on airplanes and even on public streets for a long time. That

00:14:49.180 was always an Asian thing. And then during COVID, for the first time, it started to spill over into 0.93

00:14:54.240 the West, and we mostly got rid of it. So the fact that some people in China are wearing masks doesn't

00:15:00.180 worry me all too much. What worries me about this story is the number. Let's say four years on from

00:15:07.200 COVID. Four years on from COVID. What happens every four years? What do you think might explain

00:15:13.780 the political reaction to COVID four years ago? Was it just that for the first time ever,

00:15:21.200 everyone melted down out of a panic over a cold? We just happened to really be afraid of that cold

00:15:28.680 over other colds? Or do you think it might've had, that reaction might've had something to do with

00:15:35.720 the presidential election and the prospect of another Donald Trump term? And do we think that

00:15:40.640 maybe the fear mongers now who don't seem to be winning are freaking out over the potential of

00:15:46.800 another virus? Because the exact same prospect faces them. Who was the biggest beneficiary of

00:15:54.120 COVID? We could say the libs, we could say mega corporations. It was the biggest transfer of wealth

00:16:00.580 ever from the lower classes to the upper classes in all of recorded history. I think the biggest

00:16:06.280 beneficiary of COVID was China. China. Because COVID shut down the United States. It politically neutered

00:16:15.120 Donald Trump after many other, other attempts. That's the one that, that succeeded. Trump was

00:16:20.360 winning, waging and winning a trade war with China. COVID stopped the trade war with China.

00:16:26.380 COVID got rid of Donald Trump because it gave Democrats an excuse to change all of the election

00:16:32.200 rules to benefit them. And what are we looking at now? We're looking at, despite all of that,

00:16:40.600 Donald Trump looking as though he can beat Joe Biden. Donald Trump up, not just in national polls,

00:16:49.300 which don't tell a lot of the story, but up in crucial states that he's got to win. If you look

00:16:53.240 at the real clear politics average of polls. So we're not talking about outliers. We're talking

00:16:56.560 about the most dependable source for polling. Trump is up almost five points in Arizona.

00:17:04.720 Trump is up four or five points in Georgia on Joe Biden. Trump is, this is not a generic ballot.

00:17:11.480 This is not fill in the blank. Who knows what's going to happen? Donald Trump is look, according to

00:17:16.560 the polls and not just one or two, all of the polls and not just now for, for a very long time now,

00:17:22.460 Trump is looking like he could win again. So the libs are freaking out. They're going to try to pull

00:17:26.780 some virus out from under the rug. They're going to try to find some excuse to, to cement their

00:17:32.460 cheating in, in the new voting rules, but it's looking pretty strong. So as a result of that,

00:17:39.700 some people who hate Trump, especially, but even people who like Trump are trying to find

00:17:43.700 a different nominee. One potential new nominee would be Nikki Haley. Uh, the Coke backed,

00:17:51.560 you know, the Coke brothers now cook brother, I guess the Coke network backed Americans for

00:17:56.500 prosperity has just endorsed Nikki Haley. AFP action. They say it's proud to throw our full

00:18:03.700 support behind Nikki Haley who offers America the opportunity to turn the page on the current

00:18:07.680 political era to win the Republican primary and defeat Joe Biden next November. This is being

00:18:15.160 reported as a really tough blow to Ron DeSantis. And I see why it's being reported that way because

00:18:20.880 Americans for prosperity, they don't like Trump, they're going to pick someone to back who's going

00:18:26.920 to be the anti-Trump candidate for most of this race. DeSantis was viewed as the most viable anti-Trump

00:18:31.580 candidate. The fact that they're backing Nikki Haley is a, is a tough blow. Now, some of us might have

00:18:38.520 seen this coming. Hate to say, I told you so. And the reason being that Ron DeSantis looks really,

00:18:46.100 really strong because he seems to have many of the great qualities of Donald Trump while also having

00:18:51.380 many of the great qualities that appeal to the less conservative, more moderate, slightly more

00:18:57.180 squishy voters, more establishment voters. So you look at a Ron DeSantis and you say, he's smart,

00:19:02.220 he's principled, he's conservative, he's effective, he's done a great job in Florida, he's popular,

00:19:06.840 he gets reelected. He, oh man, this guy's perfect. Sure. Except that also might make him the weakest

00:19:13.780 candidate. Because the Trump people aren't going to go for him because they already have their guy

00:19:18.040 in the race, Trump. And the non-Trump people aren't going to go for him because he's too Trumpy.

00:19:21.800 So in a way, though on one side he looks like the strongest candidate, in another sense,

00:19:26.500 from another vantage, he's the weakest candidate in the race. He's a man without a home.

00:19:32.220 But the reason that I actually don't believe that this is a tough blow to Ron DeSantis is I don't think

00:19:37.380 this is going to matter at all. You know, I like Nikki Haley very much personally. And so I'm happy for her

00:19:42.480 that she got a big endorsement and it'll give her a lot of money and some staff. But I don't think

00:19:48.220 it's going to matter. And the reason I think it's not going to matter is because of this graph,

00:19:51.300 also from Real Clear Politics, also the average of all the polls. This is the max view of the graph

00:19:56.500 going back to the very start of this primary. And people are always talking about DeSantis surging,

00:20:02.960 DeSantis falling, Haley surging, this person, that.

00:20:06.680 But nothing has changed. If you look beyond the headlines that are just trying to get you clicks,

00:20:15.420 if anything has changed at all, Haley has gone up a tiny little bit. DeSantis has gone down a little

00:20:25.940 bit. Trump has gone up a little bit. But it's basically exactly the same. Nothing in this whole

00:20:34.980 race, the different candidates, the debates, the spending, the ads, the stunts. Nothing has

00:20:40.300 affected anything at all. So now the Koch network is going to pour a lot of money into Nikki Haley. 1.00

00:20:46.620 If I were a gambling man, look, the Kochs have made a lot more money than I have. But if I were

00:20:50.480 a gambling man, I would not put money on anything in this race changing. Now, when you want to change 1.00

00:22:21.460 those halcyon days when we were allowed to laugh at things that were absurd instead of having to

00:22:27.440 say that they aren't absurd, that they are in fact very, very good, and that you're a bad person if

00:22:31.540 you even suggest otherwise? Back when Hollywood could make comedy films like Dodgeball, Wedding

00:22:36.720 Crashers, Tropic Thunder, without having to toe some politically correct line? Well, the Daily Wire is

00:22:43.100 not tired of laughing. And this Friday, we are dropping the most triggering movie of the decade so

00:22:47.420 far. It's a sports comedy about the funniest thing to ever happen in sports. Grown men who cannot beat 1.00

00:22:53.460 other grown men, calling themselves women, and then absolutely dominating girls who spent their

00:22:59.620 entire lives training to be the best. Every studio in Hollywood should be racing to make this movie,

00:23:03.980 but they aren't, and they won't, and they can't. Their worldview simply will not allow them to say

00:23:08.320 what virtually every American knows to be true, that the entire reason that we created women's sports

00:23:12.760 was to keep the men out. That men cannot become women, no matter what some clown with a PhD in 0.99

00:23:17.820 gender studies says on the subject. You are allowed to believe those things. You are allowed to laugh at 1.00

00:23:24.540 people who do not. Now you can. Here is a look at the official trailer for Lady Ballers.

00:23:30.560 In a world where women's sports is being transformed, The Daily Wire calls foul with the most triggering 1.00

00:23:44.000 comedy of the year.

00:23:52.620 Guys, this is serious. Sports can be your pathway to a better life.

00:23:59.100 What, like yours?

00:24:00.960 Please don't steal my catalytic converter again. Winning matters. It's the key ingredient in becoming

00:24:05.660 a winner. Maybe you should try it sometime. Are you going to move? I am not.

00:24:13.280 Let's cut to the chase. I know you're not a woman. 1.00

00:24:16.060 Hey, you don't know how he identifies. If you could beat them. 0.98

00:24:19.420 What do you know about the U.S. Opens for the Global Games? You want us to compete as women. 1.00

00:24:23.980 $5,000 prizes. My lover says you were a great coach back in the day.

00:24:27.080 Join. This is the way the world is now. My eight-year-old daughter told me all about

00:24:31.140 it. So a guy can become a girl with no physical changes at all. 0.60

00:24:35.440 Oh, that's called ginger fluid. 0.98

00:24:37.040 So I can be a woman on the court and a man in the bedroom. I can't believe it.

00:24:42.140 Nice! 0.94

00:24:43.120 You mean when you're sleeping?

00:24:45.180 Yes.

00:24:46.300 Coach.

00:24:46.980 Alice.

00:24:48.180 We could play basketball.

00:24:49.560 We'd have to get the whole team back together.

00:24:51.000 It's time.

00:24:51.860 We're in.

00:24:52.260 I'm in.

00:24:53.940 I'm in.

00:24:54.960 You do plank.

00:24:55.680 Lady Baldur's.

00:24:57.280 Mound up.

00:25:00.380 Like a girl. 0.99

00:25:01.300 That's why I'm with her.

00:25:05.760 You're leaving my truth.

00:25:07.560 This is my truth.

00:25:11.380 From heroes.

00:25:12.540 Day one of being a girl athlete.

00:25:14.780 I love being a girl.

00:25:17.000 To she-robes. 1.00

00:25:18.100 We could dominate every woman's sport. 1.00

00:25:21.120 Running.

00:25:21.920 Swimming.

00:25:22.600 Soccer.

00:25:23.260 I said sport feelings!

00:25:27.500 It's ladies basketball, boys.

00:25:29.740 Nobody watches.

00:25:32.320 Excuse me.

00:25:34.020 Are these seats open?

00:25:36.040 Never mind.

00:25:37.660 Getting dunks.

00:25:38.660 Yeah!

00:25:43.660 Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! 1.00

00:25:45.020 And tucking trunks.

00:25:46.540 Do you know she did it?

00:25:55.640 That's the biggest

00:25:56.640 I've ever seen on a lady. 1.00

00:25:58.300 I don't care.

00:26:42.520 on Daily Wire Plus.

00:26:43.700 Friday night, 8 p.m. Eastern.

00:26:46.900 What a great date night.

00:26:49.340 All right.

00:26:49.680 Turning our attention back to politics

00:26:51.640 and politicians.

00:26:53.380 The House Democrats,

00:26:54.940 and actually drag queens, oddly enough. 1.00

00:26:56.800 So I guess there's a tie-in.

00:26:58.500 Democrats are moving

00:26:59.780 to expel the embattled

00:27:02.120 and eccentric Republican congressman,

00:27:03.920 George Santos.

00:27:05.340 George Santos has been under fire

00:27:07.940 because he appears to have lied

00:27:09.520 about everything in his past

00:27:11.000 and defrauded a lot of people.

00:27:12.560 And there was a House

00:27:13.160 ethics investigation

00:27:14.500 and it's not looking good

00:27:16.200 for the guy.

00:27:17.640 And, well, anyway,

00:27:21.360 here's their argument.

00:27:22.160 Mr. Speaker,

00:27:24.380 pursuant to Clause 2A1

00:27:26.220 of Rule 9,

00:27:28.220 I rise to give notice

00:27:29.280 of my intent

00:27:29.960 to raise the question

00:27:31.720 of the privileges of the House.

00:27:33.780 The form of the resolution

00:27:35.180 is as follows.

00:27:37.440 House Resolution 114

00:27:39.220 resolved that,

00:27:40.900 pursuant to Article 1,

00:27:42.360 Section 5, Clause 2

00:27:44.140 of the Constitution

00:27:45.380 of the United States,

00:27:47.200 Representative George Santos

00:27:48.540 be, and he hereby is,

00:27:50.520 expelled from the House

00:27:52.020 of Representatives.

00:27:53.420 Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

00:27:54.420 We have to expel him.

00:27:56.000 And why do we have to expel

00:27:57.900 George Santos

00:27:59.380 from our nation's

00:28:00.360 highest legislative body?

00:28:01.600 Well, he lied, apparently,

00:28:03.640 about his ethnic background.

00:28:06.060 He used a funny phrase,

00:28:07.080 a phrase that I used, too.

00:28:07.920 He said he was Jew-ish,

00:28:09.360 but there doesn't seem

00:28:10.460 to be evidence

00:28:10.920 that he's Jewish.

00:28:11.960 So, okay.

00:28:13.860 Has any other member

00:28:15.600 of the lower

00:28:16.880 or upper chamber

00:28:18.180 of the United States Congress

00:28:19.560 ever done such a thing?

00:28:21.060 Would you,

00:28:21.420 does that ring a bell at all?

00:28:23.220 Would someone who was

00:28:24.020 1,028th Native American,

00:28:29.400 would anyone like that

00:28:30.900 ever remain

00:28:32.080 a sitting United States senator?

00:28:33.340 Oh, right.

00:28:33.780 Yeah, the Dems do that. 1.00

00:28:35.220 Well, you see,

00:28:36.780 George Santos,

00:28:37.980 he took money inappropriately.

00:28:40.180 Oh, yeah.

00:28:40.940 Do you think any Democrat

00:28:41.920 would ever do that?

00:28:43.360 Hey, let's check

00:28:44.020 Nancy Pelosi's portfolio.

00:28:45.960 How's that looking?

00:28:47.460 She made a lot of money 0.50

00:28:49.320 for being in government

00:28:49.960 her whole life.

00:28:51.120 Let's go further.

00:28:51.980 Let's check Bob Menendez's portfolio.

00:28:53.780 Bob Menendez,

00:28:54.360 New Jersey Democrat senator.

00:28:55.740 He's still there, right?

00:28:56.800 Wait, hold on.

00:28:58.120 But we got to kick out

00:28:58.720 George Santos?

00:28:59.920 That seems a little strange.

00:29:01.620 The problem

00:29:02.240 with criticizing George Santos

00:29:04.100 is not that he's innocent.

00:29:05.980 He's not.

00:29:06.720 It's not that he didn't

00:29:07.540 commit serious crimes.

00:29:08.360 He did.

00:29:09.200 I mean,

00:29:09.380 he appears to have

00:29:10.800 committed fraud.

00:29:11.600 I consider,

00:29:13.160 I and Dante,

00:29:14.500 the divine poet,

00:29:15.600 consider fraud

00:29:16.420 to be basically

00:29:17.260 the worst sin

00:29:18.040 you can possibly commit.

00:29:19.640 Defrauding,

00:29:20.760 betraying one's benefactors

00:29:22.020 is the sort of thing

00:29:22.980 that in Dante's

00:29:23.560 Divine Comedy

00:29:24.120 gets you put

00:29:25.200 into the mouth of Satan

00:29:26.220 in the river Cositus

00:29:27.920 being gnawed

00:29:28.740 by the chief of the devils

00:29:30.740 for all of eternity.

00:29:32.660 So, yeah,

00:29:33.740 that's bad.

00:29:36.020 The problem is

00:29:37.100 that the Democrats

00:29:37.700 do all the same stuff.

00:29:38.680 So, I'm not saying

00:29:40.900 I would endorse

00:29:41.580 the guy to run again.

00:29:42.440 I'm not saying

00:29:42.720 I'm going to send him

00:29:43.180 a campaign donation.

00:29:44.180 Certainly not.

00:29:44.680 I don't want my identity stolen.

00:29:46.060 But,

00:29:47.000 why would I call on him

00:29:49.240 to resign

00:29:49.720 when the Democrats

00:29:50.400 get away

00:29:50.960 with all the same stuff,

00:29:52.780 with impunity

00:29:53.340 at a much higher level

00:29:54.420 for a much longer time?

00:29:55.940 The only reason

00:29:56.980 that the libs

00:29:58.240 are going after DeSantis,

00:29:59.740 DeSantis,

00:30:00.560 DeSantos,

00:30:04.080 not DeSantis,

00:30:05.080 he's a good guy.

00:30:06.100 The reason they're

00:30:06.900 going after Santos

00:30:07.800 is because

00:30:08.900 we have a very slim

00:30:11.100 Republican majority

00:30:11.920 in the House

00:30:12.420 and they think

00:30:12.840 if they can whittle away

00:30:13.660 at that,

00:30:14.180 then it's going to be easier

00:30:15.060 to stop the Republicans

00:30:15.880 from obstructing

00:30:16.540 Biden's agenda.

00:30:17.180 That's all it's about.

00:30:18.840 And so,

00:30:19.260 for that reason,

00:30:20.220 it's going to come up

00:30:20.980 for a vote,

00:30:22.100 maybe up for a vote

00:30:22.880 already today.

00:30:24.960 And,

00:30:25.480 I think it would be crazy

00:30:27.140 for Republicans

00:30:27.760 to vote to expel him.

00:30:29.080 I agree

00:30:29.740 that he deserves

00:30:30.780 to be expelled.

00:30:32.120 I'm not in any way

00:30:33.100 defending Santos

00:30:34.560 for the crimes

00:30:36.180 that he would seem

00:30:37.360 quite obviously

00:30:38.040 to have committed.

00:30:40.240 But they're not

00:30:41.260 throwing him out

00:30:42.160 of Congress

00:30:42.540 for the crimes

00:30:43.080 he's committed.

00:30:43.620 They're throwing him

00:30:44.000 out of Congress

00:30:44.440 in a really cynical

00:30:45.180 political ploy

00:30:45.980 and they're not

00:30:46.620 throwing out

00:30:46.940 their own members

00:30:47.400 who have done

00:30:47.800 similar things.

00:30:48.860 So,

00:30:49.080 no,

00:30:49.320 I think every Republican

00:30:50.520 should vote

00:30:51.120 to keep Santos

00:30:52.220 in office.

00:30:53.640 The reason in particular

00:30:54.740 is that he says

00:30:55.280 he won't run

00:30:55.740 for office again.

00:30:56.900 So,

00:30:57.220 this is merely

00:30:58.220 about this Congress.

00:31:01.220 It's a two-year term.

00:31:03.280 It's not going to be

00:31:04.420 going on for much longer.

00:31:06.660 He'll be out of office

00:31:08.200 soon enough.

00:31:09.300 Maybe then

00:31:10.000 a Republican

00:31:10.540 will have a chance

00:31:11.160 to mount

00:31:11.600 a strong campaign.

00:31:12.800 But if you kick out

00:31:13.560 Santos now,

00:31:15.280 if the Democrats

00:31:15.980 do muster enough

00:31:16.760 Republicans

00:31:17.160 to have a two-third

00:31:17.720 vote to expel,

00:31:18.640 then there's going

00:31:19.220 to be a special

00:31:19.700 election in New York

00:31:20.660 and some Dem

00:31:21.240 is going to replace him.

00:31:23.040 Most likely.

00:31:24.200 Why would we do that?

00:31:25.000 Why do Republicans

00:31:26.120 always willingly

00:31:27.200 just hand over power

00:31:28.400 to Democrats

00:31:29.400 on some

00:31:30.680 mistaken

00:31:32.060 understanding

00:31:32.740 of principle

00:31:33.360 that is really

00:31:34.720 no principle

00:31:35.200 at all?

00:31:35.900 Now,

00:31:36.080 speaking of

00:31:37.020 cross-dressers, 0.66

00:31:39.400 I should mention

00:31:40.280 for those

00:31:40.640 who are unaware,

00:31:41.760 George Santos

00:31:42.240 apparently is a

00:31:42.860 cross-dresser.

00:31:43.960 That was another,

00:31:44.980 which,

00:31:45.420 again,

00:31:45.960 I just,

00:31:46.620 I find him

00:31:47.220 so funny

00:31:47.820 and charming

00:31:48.320 and a meme

00:31:49.740 that I'm not

00:31:51.620 going to really

00:31:52.020 attack him. 1.00

00:31:52.660 I'll attack him 1.00

00:31:53.100 for the fraud, 0.54

00:31:53.820 I guess.

00:31:54.260 But for these

00:31:55.120 kinds of things,

00:31:55.600 I find that eccentric

00:31:56.360 and weird

00:31:56.780 and kind of funny.

00:31:57.600 But not a sufficient

00:31:59.560 reason to kick

00:32:01.200 a guy out of Congress,

00:32:02.060 especially when the

00:32:02.760 Democrats are trying

00:32:03.540 to trans all of our

00:32:04.420 kids.

00:32:05.020 But speaking of

00:32:06.120 cross-dressers, 0.66

00:32:06.960 Jeremy just showed

00:32:07.800 up on the

00:32:08.380 PBD podcast

00:32:09.980 to describe

00:32:12.340 an episode

00:32:12.960 that I remember.

00:32:14.300 I was here

00:32:15.000 for this episode

00:32:15.660 years ago.

00:32:17.600 We were talking

00:32:18.960 to a top agent

00:32:20.060 at UTA

00:32:20.820 and we at

00:32:22.540 The Daily Wire

00:32:23.000 were maybe going

00:32:23.500 to do some work

00:32:24.120 with UTA,

00:32:25.640 the agency.

00:32:27.080 And they said

00:32:28.580 there's just one

00:32:29.160 thing that we're

00:32:29.920 not allowed to do

00:32:30.900 if we really

00:32:31.920 want to make it

00:32:32.820 in high levels

00:32:35.200 of media

00:32:35.760 and show business.

00:32:38.200 And here's what

00:32:38.880 they said we can't do.

00:32:40.360 That movie ain't

00:32:41.060 going to no theaters.

00:32:43.140 Unless you warn

00:32:44.440 everybody.

00:32:45.060 One of the top

00:32:46.120 agents at UTA

00:32:46.860 came to us years ago,

00:32:48.020 not that many years ago,

00:32:49.140 a couple of years ago,

00:32:49.900 and said,

00:32:50.240 hey,

00:32:50.840 we'd love to work

00:32:51.500 with you guys.

00:32:51.820 We can do some

00:32:52.220 huge things together.

00:32:53.880 And I said,

00:32:54.360 there's no way

00:32:55.240 you'll ever do

00:32:55.780 huge things with us.

00:32:56.640 We believe this.

00:32:57.380 We believe that.

00:32:57.780 He said,

00:32:58.040 yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:32:58.400 We don't care about

00:32:58.940 any of that.

00:32:59.340 We just care about

00:32:59.940 there's an opportunity

00:33:01.160 here.

00:33:01.680 We want to take it.

00:33:02.580 He said,

00:33:02.820 the only thing is

00:33:03.480 you've got to back

00:33:03.900 off this trans issue.

00:33:05.200 He said,

00:33:05.480 I don't care what

00:33:05.940 you say about abortion.

00:33:06.700 I don't care what

00:33:07.000 you say about religion.

00:33:07.740 I don't care what

00:33:08.040 you say about who

00:33:08.740 to vote for.

00:33:09.260 I don't care what

00:33:09.580 you say about taxes.

00:33:10.480 Got to back

00:33:10.940 off this trans issue.

00:33:12.000 This is the

00:33:13.140 religious issue

00:33:14.400 of our time

00:33:15.540 for the left.

00:33:16.440 This represents

00:33:17.240 the culmination

00:33:17.900 of their religious

00:33:18.560 beliefs.

00:33:20.100 And so when we went

00:33:20.660 to theatrical

00:33:21.020 distributors,

00:33:21.700 it was not even

00:33:23.520 going to engage

00:33:23.940 in the conversation.

00:33:24.760 It's not that

00:33:25.160 they passed.

00:33:26.140 It was just like,

00:33:27.240 here's a great

00:33:29.340 Trades have covered

00:33:29.980 every movie we've

00:33:30.660 made at Daily Wire

00:33:31.320 so far.

00:33:32.680 They won't even

00:33:33.220 write about this one.

00:33:34.640 And I understand

00:33:35.960 because that would

00:33:37.660 be putting themselves

00:33:38.280 on the other side

00:33:39.020 of the actual

00:33:39.720 religion that matters 1.00

00:33:40.560 within their industry.

00:33:42.840 He's totally right.

00:33:44.320 He's totally right.

00:33:46.220 This is the

00:33:47.320 religious issue.

00:33:48.540 And it's religious

00:33:50.300 in the sense that

00:33:51.180 transgenderism,

00:33:52.420 when you actually

00:33:52.980 get down to it,

00:33:53.720 is not about

00:33:54.360 the science

00:33:55.480 and it's not about,

00:33:56.660 it's not even just

00:33:57.420 about the decadent

00:33:58.160 sexual desires 0.99

00:33:58.960 of depraved 1.00

00:34:00.080 leftists. 0.99

00:34:01.400 It's about

00:34:02.240 a religious

00:34:03.420 question.

00:34:04.780 Is the

00:34:05.620 human nature

00:34:07.080 best explained

00:34:08.240 by

00:34:08.820 traditional

00:34:10.560 religion,

00:34:11.620 the Christian

00:34:12.200 view that we're

00:34:12.860 body and soul

00:34:13.540 united here,

00:34:14.280 hyalomorphic

00:34:14.800 beings,

00:34:15.520 or is

00:34:17.220 human nature

00:34:18.400 best described

00:34:19.140 by Gnostic

00:34:20.340 dualism,

00:34:22.140 best described

00:34:22.780 by the notion

00:34:23.400 that the

00:34:24.100 physical world

00:34:24.880 and the

00:34:25.700 metaphysical world

00:34:26.540 are not joined

00:34:27.640 together,

00:34:28.200 but they're

00:34:28.900 actually in

00:34:29.420 opposition,

00:34:30.180 that the

00:34:30.460 physical world

00:34:31.080 is evil

00:34:31.660 and the

00:34:32.040 metaphysical

00:34:32.500 world is

00:34:33.060 the secret

00:34:33.540 truth.

00:34:35.680 It's an

00:34:36.240 ancient heresy,

00:34:36.980 it's cropped up

00:34:37.520 a number of

00:34:37.920 times in history

00:34:38.740 and it's

00:34:39.740 cropped up

00:34:40.080 again.

00:34:40.600 So it is a,

00:34:42.060 Jeremy's actually

00:34:42.780 being precise

00:34:43.400 in his language

00:34:44.280 here.

00:34:45.200 It is a

00:34:45.720 religious

00:34:46.160 issue.

00:34:49.080 The only thing

00:34:50.040 that's frustrating

00:34:50.600 here is it's not

00:34:51.320 the only religious 0.90

00:34:51.960 issue for the

00:34:52.520 left.

00:34:54.160 Well,

00:34:54.620 there's a lot

00:34:54.920 that's frustrating

00:34:55.400 about a top

00:34:56.660 agent telling

00:34:57.100 us that.

00:34:57.800 But part of

00:34:58.300 it is that

00:34:59.040 it's not the

00:34:59.740 only religious

00:35:00.220 issue.

00:35:00.780 That top

00:35:01.240 agent,

00:35:01.700 he's a nice

00:35:01.960 guy,

00:35:03.140 he didn't

00:35:04.560 realize that

00:35:06.280 right now the

00:35:08.060 one issue you're

00:35:08.760 not allowed to

00:35:09.240 talk about is

00:35:10.280 transgenderism.

00:35:12.760 But two years

00:35:14.060 from now it'll

00:35:14.420 be some other

00:35:14.840 issue.

00:35:16.480 And ten years

00:35:17.300 ago it was some

00:35:17.740 other issue.

00:35:18.540 And it's always

00:35:19.960 changing.

00:35:20.480 So they think

00:35:22.940 they're being

00:35:23.280 really magnanimous.

00:35:24.260 They say,

00:35:24.560 look, you can

00:35:25.040 talk about

00:35:25.520 whatever you

00:35:26.000 want.

00:35:26.240 You can

00:35:26.480 believe whatever

00:35:26.980 you want.

00:35:27.360 We're so

00:35:27.660 liberal.

00:35:28.220 We're so

00:35:28.520 open-minded.

00:35:30.020 There's just

00:35:30.420 this one

00:35:30.980 thing.

00:35:33.220 And the

00:35:33.820 one thing is

00:35:34.640 always the

00:35:35.560 crucial issue

00:35:36.380 that matters.

00:35:37.400 The one thing

00:35:38.320 is always the 0.65

00:35:39.000 issue that is

00:35:40.700 really hot,

00:35:41.480 that could go

00:35:42.000 maybe one way

00:35:42.700 or the other,

00:35:43.180 where public

00:35:43.580 opinion actually

00:35:44.280 matters, where

00:35:44.960 there could be

00:35:46.060 serious political

00:35:46.760 consequences.

00:35:47.940 We're allowed

00:35:48.720 to talk about

00:35:49.480 so-called gay

00:35:50.200 marriage now.

00:35:50.880 You know why?

00:35:51.700 Because it's a

00:35:52.320 dead issue at

00:35:52.980 the moment.

00:35:53.520 Because the

00:35:54.020 Supreme Court

00:35:54.560 invented some

00:35:55.300 new definition

00:35:55.880 of marriage.

00:35:56.860 Because the

00:35:57.340 romantic poet

00:35:58.360 Anthony Kennedy

00:35:58.960 on the Supreme

00:35:59.460 Court found

00:36:00.260 in invisible ink

00:36:01.180 in the

00:36:01.400 Constitution a

00:36:02.160 special constitutional

00:36:03.300 right to

00:36:03.740 intimacy or

00:36:04.480 whatever.

00:36:06.280 And at the

00:36:06.740 time, when

00:36:07.560 there was

00:36:07.900 something even

00:36:09.060 vaguely resembling

00:36:10.020 a debate over

00:36:11.040 the nature of

00:36:11.540 marriage, you

00:36:12.120 weren't really

00:36:12.560 allowed to talk

00:36:13.040 about that.

00:36:14.120 You'd lose

00:36:14.500 your job.

00:36:14.840 Remember, they

00:36:15.140 ran Brandon

00:36:15.660 Icke out of 1.00

00:36:16.360 Mozilla, out

00:36:17.600 of Firefox, the

00:36:18.840 creator of

00:36:19.240 Firefox, because

00:36:20.180 he had

00:36:21.320 donated a

00:36:21.900 very small

00:36:22.600 amount of

00:36:22.960 money to

00:36:23.260 a ballot

00:36:23.580 proposition that

00:36:24.740 was going to

00:36:25.520 define marriage

00:36:26.200 as what it had

00:36:26.820 always been, namely

00:36:27.560 a union between

00:36:28.140 a man and a

00:36:28.560 woman.

00:36:28.700 A ballot

00:36:29.320 proposition in

00:36:29.920 liberal California

00:36:30.940 that passed.

00:36:32.680 Even the

00:36:33.080 liberal Californians

00:36:33.860 said, yeah, we

00:36:34.260 know what marriage

00:36:34.800 is.

00:36:35.540 And because the

00:36:36.320 leftist vindictive

00:36:37.620 operators found

00:36:38.740 out that this

00:36:39.300 somewhat prominent

00:36:40.580 guy in business

00:36:41.340 had donated, I

00:36:42.640 don't know, like

00:36:42.940 five cents to the

00:36:43.900 proposition, they

00:36:45.240 destroyed his

00:36:45.700 career.

00:36:46.820 At that time, you

00:36:47.720 were not allowed to

00:36:48.360 talk about it.

00:36:48.740 That was the one

00:36:49.220 issue.

00:36:50.120 But then they

00:36:50.760 won on that

00:36:51.280 issue, and it

00:36:51.960 doesn't look like

00:36:53.920 the fake definition

00:36:55.520 of marriage is

00:36:56.100 particularly endangered

00:36:57.120 at the moment.

00:36:57.800 So, okay, you can

00:36:58.960 talk about that.

00:36:59.500 Go play in your

00:36:59.960 sandbox, conservatives.

00:37:01.160 Talk about anything

00:37:01.860 that doesn't matter.

00:37:03.960 But don't talk about

00:37:04.860 transgenderism.

00:37:07.100 Here's their argument.

00:37:07.960 They'll say, because

00:37:08.440 right now there's a

00:37:09.300 real threat to

00:37:10.680 trans Americans

00:37:11.660 about whether they

00:37:14.700 have access to

00:37:15.500 life-saving, gender

00:37:16.900 affirming care.

00:37:18.560 And when they say

00:37:19.400 those sorts of

00:37:19.920 things, they're

00:37:20.320 admitting to you the

00:37:20.980 strategy.

00:37:21.420 They're saying, yeah,

00:37:22.220 you're not allowed to

00:37:23.000 talk about anything

00:37:23.480 that matters.

00:37:24.920 You can talk about

00:37:25.620 things that don't

00:37:26.100 matter, but you

00:37:27.100 can't talk about

00:37:27.680 anything that matters.

00:37:28.640 That's where we

00:37:29.300 draw the line.

00:37:30.120 Okay, so you're

00:37:30.660 saying we can never

00:37:31.600 have any influence in

00:37:32.420 the public square.

00:37:33.980 Okay, yeah, no

00:37:34.760 thanks.

00:37:35.620 No thanks.

00:37:36.380 We're going to go do

00:37:37.520 our own thing until

00:37:38.680 you stomp that out,

00:37:40.340 too.

00:37:40.660 But for now, you

00:37:41.580 haven't been able to

00:37:42.140 stomp us out yet, so

00:37:43.140 we're going to go make

00:37:43.820 our Lady Baldur's

00:37:45.080 movie.

00:37:45.400 I bet a lot of people

00:37:46.080 are going to watch it.

00:37:47.000 Speaking of liberal

00:37:47.780 hegemony, Corrine

00:37:49.480 Jean-Pierre, spokesman

00:37:50.400 for the president, the

00:37:52.160 putative president, was

00:37:53.540 just asked to explain

00:37:55.160 why the economy is so

00:37:56.260 bad all this time into

00:37:58.240 the Biden

00:37:58.580 administration, and she

00:38:00.220 gave a five-letter

00:38:01.280 answer.

00:38:02.500 Why do you think it is

00:38:03.400 that when you say the

00:38:04.540 economy is improving,

00:38:05.580 and President Biden

00:38:06.300 says the economy is

00:38:07.500 improving, that a

00:38:08.880 majority of Americans

00:38:09.860 outside of this

00:38:10.840 building are not

00:38:11.800 buying it?

00:38:12.540 So here's the thing.

00:38:14.480 When we walked into

00:38:15.740 this administration, the

00:38:17.600 economy was on a

00:38:19.000 tailspin.

00:38:20.820 That is the fact.

00:38:22.100 Because of the last

00:38:23.020 administration, because

00:38:24.420 of the Trump

00:38:24.920 administration, because

00:38:26.180 of how they dealt

00:38:27.060 with COVID and the

00:38:30.020 pandemic, because they

00:38:31.500 didn't have a

00:38:32.200 comprehensive plan.

00:38:33.280 The president came in,

00:38:34.740 he passed the American

00:38:35.560 Rescue Plan, which was

00:38:36.980 able to get the economy

00:38:37.980 back on its feet, which

00:38:38.820 was able to open

00:38:39.640 up, small businesses

00:38:40.740 were able to open

00:38:42.140 up, schools were able

00:38:43.500 to open up, and we

00:38:44.860 understand what Americans 0.68

00:38:45.980 have been feeling over

00:38:47.180 the last two, three

00:38:48.100 years.

00:38:48.420 It's going to take some

00:38:49.600 time.

00:38:50.100 We get that.

00:38:50.820 It's going to take some

00:38:51.860 time, but it does not

00:38:52.860 take away how we have

00:38:54.720 seen the economy getting

00:38:56.160 back on its feet.

00:38:57.060 We actually had to fix

00:38:59.280 the problem that we saw

00:39:01.120 that the last

00:39:01.720 administration left us.

00:39:02.780 this is even worse than

00:39:06.380 the usual just blame the

00:39:07.940 last guy routine that

00:39:09.940 the Democrats in

00:39:10.660 particular use.

00:39:12.560 Oh, yes, years into the

00:39:13.980 Biden administration, the

00:39:15.880 reason for all of his

00:39:17.260 problems is Trump.

00:39:19.200 This is even worse because

00:39:21.620 Karine Jean-Pierre is

00:39:24.420 blaming Trump for losing

00:39:26.720 certain battles to Democrats

00:39:28.560 like Joe Biden.

00:39:29.280 She's saying, look, Donald

00:39:32.220 Trump, he shut down those

00:39:33.800 businesses.

00:39:34.560 He shut down the economy

00:39:36.180 over COVID.

00:39:37.000 Yeah, because you made

00:39:37.860 him.

00:39:38.380 You forced his hand.

00:39:40.720 Trump wanted to reopen the

00:39:42.360 economy relatively quickly,

00:39:43.640 wanted to reopen him by

00:39:44.400 Easter.

00:39:44.720 You guys wouldn't let him.

00:39:45.620 He got outplayed by you.

00:39:46.980 Finally, one time, Trump

00:39:48.540 was able to evade your

00:39:49.800 wiles like Roadrunner

00:39:52.040 running away from Wile E 0.93

00:39:53.080 Coyote.

00:39:53.440 He was able to evade it in

00:39:54.440 all these different

00:39:55.480 unprecedented ways.

00:39:57.600 But you did.

00:39:58.400 You got him on COVID and

00:39:59.940 he shut the economy down

00:40:01.180 and now you're blaming

00:40:03.040 him for it?

00:40:03.940 This is like the teacher

00:40:04.760 union president, Randy

00:40:06.740 Weingarten, saying that

00:40:08.300 she tried to reopen the

00:40:09.500 schools, but she wasn't

00:40:11.100 able to.

00:40:12.600 Randy Weingarten single

00:40:13.920 handedly kept the schools

00:40:14.840 closed, almost single

00:40:16.280 handedly.

00:40:17.520 And then they just turn

00:40:18.620 around.

00:40:19.560 This is so much worse than

00:40:21.560 just stretching the truth

00:40:22.740 a little bit or blaming the

00:40:24.340 last guy off handedly.

00:40:26.880 Karine Jean-Pierre is

00:40:28.300 saying the exact opposite

00:40:30.340 of reality, a total

00:40:32.520 inversion, a total lie.

00:40:34.900 Do you think people are

00:40:35.500 going to buy that, though?

00:40:36.180 I don't think so.

00:40:36.720 I think people are going to

00:40:37.320 think back and say, you

00:40:38.340 know, Trump had a great

00:40:41.140 economy.

00:40:42.080 Trump, under Trump,

00:40:44.420 everything was going

00:40:45.000 great.

00:40:45.440 And then Biden came in and

00:40:47.020 everything's not going

00:40:47.860 great.

00:40:48.200 And now Joe Biden's

00:40:48.960 approval rating is the

00:40:49.900 worst ever.

00:40:50.940 You know, Jimmy Carter,

00:40:53.220 whatever you think of the

00:40:53.960 guy's politics, obviously

00:40:54.880 wasn't a very successful

00:40:55.720 president.

00:40:56.420 He is a very impressive

00:40:58.160 guy who at 99 years old

00:40:59.380 showed up to his wife's

00:41:00.360 funeral.

00:41:01.260 He's been in hospice for

00:41:02.220 over nine months now.

00:41:03.840 And the guy is just a very

00:41:05.200 impressive guy.

00:41:06.580 And one of the kind of

00:41:07.880 jokes about this as well,

00:41:08.880 a consolation for Jimmy

00:41:09.920 Carter enduring all these

00:41:11.320 health ailments and living

00:41:13.120 so long is he gets to see a

00:41:14.540 guy who's a worse

00:41:15.100 president than him.

00:41:15.800 And that would be Joe

00:41:16.660 Biden.

00:41:17.460 That can help man sleep well

00:42:37.200 My favorite comment yesterday is

00:42:38.300 from Cheyenne the Wolf, who

00:42:40.120 says, if I wasn't already a

00:42:40.980 member, I would surely sign up

00:42:42.100 for this Friday.

00:42:42.760 Yeah, of course.

00:42:43.540 This is the thing to see.

00:42:44.860 I was thinking about that

00:42:45.540 myself.

00:42:45.860 If I were not a member of the

00:42:47.580 Daily Wire, Ben finally gave me a

00:42:49.280 login, Shapiro, not Davies, I would

00:42:54.420 sign up for, this would be the

00:42:55.700 thing that would get me to sign

00:42:56.540 up.

00:42:56.780 I might have signed up for what is

00:42:58.000 a woman.

00:43:00.140 I'm, I get, you know, actually the

00:43:01.160 thing that would have gotten me to

00:43:02.060 sign up is if I were able to get

00:43:03.700 early access or discounts or

00:43:05.360 something to the beautiful Mayflower

00:43:06.800 cigars, 21 plus to order some

00:43:08.880 exclusion supply.

00:43:09.500 But, beyond that, I think this

00:43:12.840 would be the, this would be the

00:43:13.860 piece of content.

00:43:15.180 Lady Ballers would be the one to 1.00

00:43:16.400 get me to sign up.

00:43:18.520 Now, speaking of the economy,

00:43:25.980 Zoom fatigue is taking its toll on

00:43:29.460 your health.

00:43:30.220 This is according to a report

00:43:31.740 published in the journal Scientific

00:43:33.940 Reports, looked for physiological

00:43:36.780 signs of fatigue in 35 years.

00:43:39.500 students attending lectures on

00:43:41.340 engineering at an Austrian

00:43:43.540 university.

00:43:46.360 They found that there were notable

00:43:48.300 differences between the in-person

00:43:50.440 and the online groups.

00:43:52.000 So, since COVID, a lot of people

00:43:54.260 have had to, and even chosen, to do

00:43:56.500 their meetings and even have social

00:43:58.580 gatherings on Zoom.

00:44:01.880 And the survey, the study found that

00:44:04.580 video participants' fatigue mounted

00:44:07.260 over the course of the session, their

00:44:08.960 brain states showed that they were

00:44:10.620 struggling to pay attention.

00:44:12.420 The group's moods varied as well.

00:44:14.500 In-person participants reported

00:44:16.360 feeling livelier, happier, and more

00:44:18.080 active.

00:44:18.700 Online participants said they felt

00:44:19.900 tired, drowsy, and fed up.

00:44:22.360 Of course.

00:44:23.800 I hate Zoom.

00:44:24.760 Sometimes people want to schedule Zoom

00:44:26.260 meetings with me.

00:44:27.140 I try to avoid it.

00:44:28.600 I'll have it on the phone if I'm going

00:44:30.820 to do a not-in-person meeting.

00:44:32.960 But I want to do stuff in person.

00:44:35.340 And the reason is, it doesn't take a

00:44:38.080 scientific study to know that human

00:44:39.960 beings prefer to do things in person

00:44:41.700 than virtually.

00:44:43.160 And the reason for this is that same

00:44:45.180 religious error that Jeremy was

00:44:48.320 pointing out that we were discussing

00:44:49.200 earlier.

00:44:49.900 Namely, we are incarnate beings.

00:44:52.800 We are body and soul.

00:44:54.420 We are not to be abstracted one from the

00:44:57.280 other.

00:44:57.620 We're both tied together.

00:45:00.060 This is, I think, one of the drivers of

00:45:03.360 the transgender ideology.

00:45:05.660 Beyond the bizarre philosophy, the

00:45:09.220 logical conclusion of liberalism, beyond

00:45:11.340 the, I don't know, whatever chemicals

00:45:13.640 they're putting in the water, a big

00:45:16.100 driver of it is technology.

00:45:17.560 The fact that we live in the virtual

00:45:19.200 world so often now makes us think that

00:45:21.380 our bodies don't really matter, that we

00:45:23.020 are something totally different from our

00:45:24.520 bodies.

00:45:25.260 And if you really believe that, then

00:45:26.820 you can say, all right, well, I don't

00:45:27.900 like my body.

00:45:28.540 I feel alienated from my body, so I'm

00:45:32.400 going to pretend that my identity has

00:45:33.960 nothing to do with my body. 0.96

00:45:34.900 And I might even chop my body up to make

00:45:37.720 it look a little bit more like my fantasy

00:45:40.660 view of who I supposedly really am.

00:45:44.120 But at a more quotidian level, this is

00:45:48.740 happening to people all the time as they 1.00

00:45:50.320 undertake their stupid Zoom meetings. 0.99

00:45:52.500 You're, that's not going to satisfy you to 1.00

00:45:57.420 just sit in front of a screen all day and

00:45:59.040 look at little moving pixels.

00:46:00.660 You're a human being.

00:46:01.780 You're supposed to move around and talk to

00:46:03.180 real human beings and touch them.

00:46:04.740 And even during, goodness gracious, during

00:46:07.040 COVID, when we weren't allowed to see our

00:46:08.900 loved ones, you had to hug people up

00:46:11.540 against a plate of glass or something.

00:46:13.360 No, we need to hug each other.

00:46:14.580 We need to, we need to have human contact.

00:46:20.260 We're a coupling creature, a social animal,

00:46:22.840 a political animal, okay?

00:46:24.300 The liberal culture wants to replace marriage

00:46:28.380 with, well, a new fake definition of marriage 0.93

00:46:31.740 and ultimately just replace it with porn.

00:46:33.340 You know, just replace it with sitting alone

00:46:37.200 in your home looking at pixels.

00:46:40.800 Wants to replace office settings, work settings

00:46:43.480 where you see people and interact and have lunch.

00:46:45.680 Wants to replace that with sitting in your home

00:46:49.100 looking at moving pixels.

00:46:50.200 Wants to replace everything with this abstracted view.

00:46:52.840 Wants to replace your community of friends

00:46:54.700 with virtual online friends.

00:46:57.580 All the rest of it.

00:46:58.460 It's not going to work.

00:46:59.200 That will never work.

00:47:00.600 We are incarnate beings.

00:47:03.440 Those sweltering summer nights that leave you

00:47:05.220 tossing and turning, desperately kicking off the covers,

00:47:07.420 don't have to ruin your sleep.

00:47:31.700 Limited time only, exclusions do apply.

00:47:34.400 Now, speaking of bodily reality, there's a good story today.

00:47:37.400 This is from Indiana.

00:47:40.340 A baby, a newborn baby, was surrendered to

00:47:45.040 and safely retrieved from a baby box in Indiana.

00:47:48.340 I've covered baby boxes on this show before. 0.83

00:47:51.140 Baby boxes are this kind of silly,

00:47:54.100 but really important innovation in public policy,

00:47:58.880 which is for people who have a baby but don't want the baby,

00:48:03.940 instead of leaving it outside at a fire department

00:48:05.860 where it could die of exposure,

00:48:07.220 instead of throwing it in a trash can,

00:48:10.120 which happens, instead of killing the baby,

00:48:12.680 you just surrender the baby to a nice, warm,

00:48:15.100 climate-controlled box where the baby will then be accepted anonymously

00:48:19.760 and then given to an adoptive couple

00:48:23.720 that actually wants to take care of the baby. 1.00

00:48:26.400 And so far this year,

00:48:29.600 seven babies have been surrendered in Indiana alone

00:48:34.440 in these baby boxes, 16 across the country.

00:48:38.020 And this is a very new policy.

00:48:39.320 It's not in a lot of places.

00:48:41.060 I met the guy, actually, who pioneered this idea.

00:48:45.020 The baby will likely be adopted by a family

00:48:47.380 within 30 to 45 days.

00:48:48.860 This is really beautiful stuff, you know?

00:48:50.660 There are seven babies in the state of Indiana.

00:48:53.020 There are seven human beings who will look back one day

00:48:55.120 and say, wow, that policy is responsible

00:48:57.440 for me being alive, most likely.

00:49:00.420 Wow.

00:49:00.780 Now, that's a reminder that the law is a teacher,

00:49:06.860 that politics can shape human behavior, of course,

00:49:11.340 that laws will, of course, shape human behavior.

00:49:14.040 And they have very, very practical, tangible effects.

00:49:17.040 It's not just, you know,

00:49:18.580 the economic forecasts 30 years into the future.

00:49:21.220 It's, hey, is that human being going to be alive

00:49:23.000 or is that human being going to be killed as a baby?

00:49:25.160 What's it going to be?

00:49:26.020 We're incarnate creatures.

00:49:26.820 It's a reminder.

00:49:29.280 How many people commit more horrible crimes

00:49:32.760 because of shame?

00:49:34.820 Think about that.

00:49:35.720 This woman who surrendered her baby

00:49:37.720 didn't want to keep the baby,

00:49:40.540 might have felt some shame that she got knocked up. 1.00
