00:00:37.680 President Biden has let 6.2 million illegal aliens into the United States, according to data from the Congressional Budget Office.

00:00:45.340 Biden let in 1.2 million illegal aliens in the first year, then upped it to 2.7 million in the second year,

00:00:52.320 and then hit a whopping 3.3 million this past year, just through October,

00:00:57.160 which means the final number for last year will inevitably be much, much higher.

00:01:01.960 If the illegals that Biden alone let in over just three years were to form their own state, 0.94

00:01:08.940 it would be the 18th most populous state in the union.

00:01:12.320 A state formed of just Joe Biden's illegal aliens would be 7% larger than Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, and Rhode Island combined.

00:01:27.100 We are witnessing an historic illegal invasion of our ostensibly sovereign nation.

00:01:33.900 But whereas most invasions in history have been hostile, in this case, this illegal invasion is being conducted with the approval

00:01:43.200 and encouragement of the President of the United States and his entire administration.

00:01:48.380 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:03.900 Welcome back to the show.

00:02:11.220 A new Amazon kids cartoon is promoting Satan.

00:02:16.420 And I don't mean that in just an implicit, subliminal message kind of way.

00:02:22.080 I mean, that's just the point of the show.

00:02:23.760 It's called Has-Been Hotel.

00:02:24.740 We'll get to that in a second.

00:02:25.540 First, though, while Biden is actively encouraging the largest invasion ever of our country,

00:02:32.260 Greg Abbott down in Texas, the governor there, is taking matters into his own hands.

00:02:38.940 So he has notified the president that the federal government, quote,

00:02:43.920 has broken the compact between the United States and the states.

00:02:47.940 The executive, the president, has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting states,

00:02:52.880 including immigration laws that are on the books right now.

00:02:55.840 And Biden has refused to do that.

00:02:58.120 And so Governor Abbott's going to take matters into his own hands.

00:03:01.700 Now, you know that Governor Abbott had already been building a very modest amount of border fencing

00:03:08.240 to try to stop the flow of illegal migrants.

00:03:11.380 The Biden administration would then go in.

00:03:14.080 They would send border patrol agents to cut down the border fencing that had been erected by the Texas National Guard.

00:03:21.100 So already you've got the Biden administration sending in troops to open up the border to allow more illegal aliens to flow into the country.

00:03:33.320 The state of Texas then tries to put up more border fence.

00:03:37.340 They sue the Biden administration.

00:03:38.700 It goes all the way up to the Supreme Court.

00:03:40.020 And the Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, says, no, Biden has the right to tear down Texas's border protections and to allow an invasion to come into Texas.

00:03:50.060 This, obviously, the court's conservatives sided with Texas.

00:03:53.300 The court's liberals plus Chief Justice Roberts plus Amy Barrett, I'm sorry to say, sided with the libs and said, no, no, Biden can go destroy Texas's border.

00:04:03.920 We need more illegals here. 1.00

00:04:06.000 So Abbott lists all of these sorts of things and then says, under President Biden's lawless border policies, more than 6 million illegal immigrants have crossed our southern border in just three years.

00:04:17.260 James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that states should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border.

00:04:30.640 That is why the framers included both Article 4, Section 4, which promises that the federal government shall protect each state against invasion.

00:04:38.200 Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3, which acknowledges the state's sovereign interest in protecting their borders.

00:04:44.200 The failure of the Biden administration to fulfill these duties, which reserves the right of self-defense, has led Texas to take matters into their own hands.

00:04:54.700 It says, I have already declared an invasion under Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3, to invoke Texas's constitutional authority to defend and protect itself.

00:05:04.780 It goes on.

00:05:05.560 Those are the highlights.

00:05:06.800 Brilliant move by Abbott here.

00:05:09.060 Because what Abbott is bringing to the center stage is not a battle between states' rights and the federal government, exactly.

00:05:19.580 He's bringing to light a constitutional crisis.

00:05:25.240 He's saying not just that certain powers are reserved to the states and certain powers are given to the federal government.

00:05:30.680 He's saying when the federal government does not execute the law as the Constitution requires it to do, then the Constitution gives the states this particular right to defend against an invasion.

00:05:44.260 So, it's not some ambiguous matter, you know, a state constitution versus the federal constitution.

00:05:53.420 It's just spelled out in the Constitution and in the writing of our founding fathers and the framers of our Constitution.

00:06:00.420 So, you know, you have an issue, Joe Biden, take it up with the Constitution.

00:06:04.120 This will very possibly force this back into the Supreme Court, especially as other governors sign on.

00:06:09.040 Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has just come out very, very strongly and said, we back Texas in this move.

00:06:14.920 A number of other Republican governors have as well.

00:06:18.060 This is brilliant.

00:06:20.400 It's not only just.

00:06:22.020 It's not only the right thing to do because it's wrong to allow a mass invasion of foreigners to take over the political order of a country when the citizens have no say in that. 0.82

00:06:30.960 It's not only just.

00:06:32.660 It's not only legally persuasive.

00:06:34.840 You just heard the arguments.

00:06:35.900 They're a hell of a lot better than Joe Biden's arguments.

00:06:37.780 But the key here is that it's politically brilliant.

00:06:42.560 What are Joe Biden's options?

00:06:44.820 Joe Biden has two options now.

00:06:46.460 Joe Biden can back down after just winning at the Supreme Court.

00:06:49.420 He can back down and allow the Texas National Guard to build some kind of border fencing, which will still allow a lot of illegal immigrants to come through, but not quite as many.

00:06:58.400 Or Joe Biden can send federal troops to remove Texas National Guard troops from the border and to remove any kind of border fencing and to actively open up a path for an invasion of foreign nationals into the country.

00:07:14.600 Which looks worse for Biden?

00:07:18.460 I don't know.

00:07:19.980 I mean, it's that's pretty crazy to use federal troops to encourage an invasion because Biden has been doing this from the beginning in a subtle way.

00:07:28.280 He said, surge, come to the border, please.

00:07:30.700 And then he'll say, I never said that.

00:07:32.340 What are you talking about?

00:07:33.180 No, no, I don't.

00:07:34.140 We are enforcing border policy.

00:07:36.400 No, no, we are stopping illegal immigration.

00:07:39.360 Surge, come here.

00:07:40.500 Come on, Jack.

00:07:41.460 We got plenty of hairy leg corn pops up here. 0.99

00:07:43.800 Just bring bring everyone.

00:07:45.360 Come on, cartels. 0.92

00:07:47.340 But if Biden sends federal troops to remove Texas National Guard troops to open up the border, that argument goes out the window.

00:07:55.820 Not even the Democrats are so brazen.

00:07:57.400 They can't do that with a straight face.

00:07:58.960 And, coincidentally, immigration is the big issue.

00:08:05.060 The establishment media downplay this.

00:08:07.240 But this has been the primary issue to motivate conservative and centrist and independent and normal voters in the West for the better part of a decade now.

00:08:18.820 Mass migration is what Brexit was about. 0.95

00:08:21.040 Mass migration is what right-wing wins and right-wing movements in Spain, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Poland, throughout the West have been about.

00:08:33.760 Donald Trump's campaign in 2016 was about how Mexico is sending rapists and murderers and, I suppose, some good people to the border.

00:08:40.480 And we're going to stop it and build a big, beautiful wall and make Mexico pay for it and deport all of the people who shouldn't be here. 1.00

00:08:45.300 And he did a pretty good job on it, actually, for the first year or two of his presidency.

00:08:50.600 And then the cartels realized that the rest of the political establishment was going to stymie him, so immigration rose up again.

00:08:57.180 But for the first part, it worked pretty well.

00:08:59.080 And even if it didn't work at all, that is what motivated the voters.

00:09:02.760 This is a major, major winning issue for conservatives.

00:09:06.040 And my favorite kind of political operations are when you only leave your opponent with bad options.

00:09:11.900 That's exactly what Governor Abbott has done here.

00:09:14.940 And yet Democrats say that it is us, not the people sending in the troops to open the border to flood the country with foreigners.

00:09:24.160 No, no, no, it is us.

00:09:25.120 We conservatives who want to defend even the basic rule of law, we are the threat to democracy.

00:09:30.480 When Trump said this is not typical, he is exactly right.

00:09:34.640 This is not a typical election.

00:09:37.060 And there's a massive effort to normalize this.

00:09:40.100 You see the New York Times columns say, well, the Trump people have a case.

00:09:43.600 You see the head of J.P. Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States, saying, well, they're right about some things.

00:09:49.980 You see reporters with Jason Miller in the Fort Des Moines Hotel reminds me of a bunch of German reporters in some Munich bar in 1935 saying, hey, Goring, he was an entertaining guy.

00:10:04.600 I'll tell you what.

00:10:05.160 He had some great stories.

00:10:06.980 Nothing is normal about this at all.

00:10:10.900 And you watched his speech last night.

00:10:13.120 It was completely unhinged.

00:10:16.680 And what I am obsessed with is stop treating him like he is a normal candidate, that this is some kind of Bob Doe, Mitt Romney.

00:10:25.620 This is really not.

00:10:27.800 Stop treating Trump like he's normal.

00:10:30.320 Three big points in Carville's rant here.

00:10:32.400 And James Carville is a major figure among the Democrat political class. 0.98

00:10:36.880 First point, Trump's a Nazi. 0.52

00:10:39.820 Could you imagine at a bar in Munich with the Nazis? 0.96

00:10:42.560 It's just like that. 0.98

00:10:43.320 He's a Nazi. 0.78

00:10:43.980 Wow, really brilliant. 0.94

00:10:44.920 You're making me see Donald Trump in a whole new and interesting light.

00:10:47.940 Wow, what brilliant commentary, James Carville.

00:10:49.820 Good grief.

00:10:50.720 That one, you can dismiss that.

00:10:52.840 Second one, we got to stop treating Trump like he's normal.

00:10:55.780 He's not normal.

00:10:56.700 We got to stop treating him like he's normal.

00:10:59.220 The man was the president of the United States.

00:11:02.900 Already.

00:11:03.680 He's already been the president.

00:11:04.520 He's normalized.

00:11:05.680 He's normal.

00:11:06.900 The man has been a major American public figure for over 40 years.

00:11:12.420 The man endorsed Mitt Romney, that candidate who you suddenly have a strange new respect for.

00:11:17.440 And that was a big to-do when he did that in 2012.

00:11:19.240 And he was already the president.

00:11:21.200 He's normal.

00:11:22.080 If he's not normal, then what is? 0.95

00:11:24.080 These are the people who say that chopping off the genitals of a little child, that's perfectly normal. 1.00

00:11:27.820 But the man who was already president, the somewhat slightly more right-wing Republican, but basically just a Republican, that's totally abnormal.

00:11:37.600 But he gives away the game because what does he say there at the end?

00:11:41.080 He said he's not a normal Republican like Mitt Romney and Bob Dole.

00:11:44.080 What do Mitt Romney and Bob Dole have in common that distinguishes them from Donald Trump?

00:11:48.140 They lost.

00:11:49.680 Look, I like Bob Dole, but that's it.

00:11:54.580 That's what they mean.

00:11:55.540 When the Democrats promote normal Republicans, they promote people who lose.

00:11:59.680 Because in the normal operation of events, in Democrats' minds, Republicans are supposed to lose because they're wrong.

00:12:06.560 They're supposed to present a facade of opposition, a simulacrum of real opposition and political choice.

00:12:13.440 But then when push comes to shove, at the crucial moment, they're supposed to lose.

00:12:17.500 John McCain, at the crucial moment, he's supposed to vote to support Obamacare.

00:12:21.260 At the crucial moment, they're supposed to just cave and defend.

00:12:25.260 Liz Cheney, she might vote with Trump a lot of the time. 0.84

00:12:27.260 But at the crucial moment, when political power is really in play, she's got to side with Nancy Pelosi.

00:12:31.100 That's normal.

00:12:32.240 Mitt Romney, yeah, nominate him, and he's going to go talk about cutting taxes.

00:12:35.800 And then the Democrats are all going to call him a Nazi.

00:12:38.240 And then he's going to lose, and then they'll like him again.

00:12:41.880 That's what's supposed to be normal.

00:12:43.000 What's abnormal about Trump is that he won when he wasn't supposed to.

00:12:48.200 And he won with a group of voters who were not supposed to be empowered, the deplorable irredeemables. 1.00

00:12:52.860 And he won on an issue that you are absolutely never supposed to talk about.

00:12:56.560 That is the mass migration, now let's call it like Abbott does, an invasion of foreigners into this country to give Democrats and liberals permanent political power.

00:13:06.220 You are, under no circumstances, allowed to criticize that.

00:13:11.020 That's a big threat to our democracy.

00:13:12.960 Suggesting that we, the American people, ought to still have a say on how our government is run.

00:13:17.160 Huge, unacceptable threat to our democracy.

00:13:19.520 Now, things are a little up in the air when the economy and politics is up in the air.

00:13:24.160 You're probably going to want some tangible assets.

00:13:25.700 You're going to want to check out Birch Gold.

00:13:26.720 Right now, text Knowles to 989898.

00:13:36.040 How will your hard-earned savings fare?

00:13:38.760 You're already seeing the impacts of inflation at the pump and the grocery store.

00:13:41.820 The dollar continues to lose its buying power faster than wages increase.

00:13:45.460 How are you protecting your savings?

00:13:47.480 Consider diversifying into gold from Birch Gold Group.

00:14:28.180 That is Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S, to 989898 to secure your savings now.

00:14:33.040 So you got the Democrats huffing and puffing.

00:14:34.800 This isn't normal. 1.00

00:14:35.800 Trump's a Nazi. 0.98

00:14:36.700 Same old stuff you've heard forever. 0.97

00:14:39.020 Then you turn to the ostensibly conservative TV channel, and they're going after Trump, too.

00:14:45.300 How would you feel if Trump wins the nomination?

00:14:48.840 53% of Republicans will be very satisfied.

00:14:52.700 But here's the problem for the former president.

00:14:55.400 According to our voter analysis, 35% of Republicans said they would not vote for Donald Trump.

00:15:02.200 And in a Politico article, they said, with their analysis, 43% of Nikki Haley voters yesterday would vote for Joe Biden.

00:15:12.020 Well, 43%, so he'd get, what, the rest of that, which is a lot.

00:15:16.580 So that's Fox News, ostensibly the conservative channel, giving the same coverage that the Democrats are giving.

00:15:23.800 Donald Trump, he's going to, he's abnormal.

00:15:27.600 A huge portion of Republicans aren't going to vote for him.

00:15:30.940 This is unprecedented.

00:15:32.540 We, you know, Trump, he's bound to lose.

00:15:35.740 I don't believe it.

00:15:37.340 I don't believe it.

00:15:38.380 And the reason I don't believe this type of analysis that we're all of a sudden hearing that Trump is the presumptive nominee,

00:15:44.620 the reason that I don't believe that there is a huge chunk of Republicans who under no circumstances will vote for Trump is

00:15:50.140 they voted for him in 2016 when that was a much riskier endeavor.

00:15:55.980 That's why.

00:15:58.620 Because in 2016, when we were told, and we didn't have any political data to show that Trump wasn't a Nazi,

00:16:05.340 we were told he's Hitler, he's going to tear the country apart, it'll be a constitutional crisis, 0.78

00:16:10.160 he's the most evil man that's ever run for president.

00:16:13.840 There was the huge, at least in the media, never Trump movement.

00:16:18.140 People who actually came out, these Republicans, they said,

00:16:20.120 I will never, I will never under any circumstances ever vote for Trump.

00:16:24.460 And then the vast majority of them said, okay, well, maybe I'll vote for Trump under some circumstances.

00:16:28.600 Okay, that was the chance for a large portion of the GOP to not vote for Trump.

00:16:33.480 And they failed, thankfully.

00:16:36.080 And Trump became president, and he was quite good.

00:16:40.140 He didn't manage to go all the distance on his campaign promises.

00:16:44.180 He only had one term.

00:16:45.500 Certain things he did were not wonderful and perfect.

00:16:49.220 But overall, he was the best, most conservative president of my lifetime.

00:16:52.340 It's not even close.

00:16:54.580 And so you really think if never Trump flopped in 2016 when it had all the wind in its sails,

00:17:00.600 you think it's going to succeed this time?

00:17:02.120 I just don't buy it.

00:17:02.740 I'm not saying Trump's guaranteed to win the election.

00:17:04.500 I'm just saying the notion that 35% of Republicans are not going to vote for him is crazy.

00:17:09.300 Why would Fox push this kind of coverage?

00:17:11.800 Oh, I don't know.

00:17:12.720 Maybe because Trump cost Fox $800 billion in that Dominion settlement,

00:17:17.100 because Trump pointed out that the election seemed a bit rigged,

00:17:20.620 and Fox News settled out of court with people who brought defamation suits about that.

00:17:25.880 That might be part of it.

00:17:26.940 Maybe because there are extremely establishment Republicans who sit on the Fox News board.

00:17:31.440 At best, there are also just liberal Democrats who help run Fox News.

00:17:35.880 I don't know.

00:17:36.380 Maybe it's because Fox News, for goodness sakes, has aired segments promoting transgenderism in children, 1.00

00:17:42.720 trancing the kids, okay?

00:17:44.180 The notion that this TV channel would represent conservatives, 0.95

00:17:50.600 be able to speak with expert analysis on the conservative base, it's just silly.

00:17:56.460 And this is something that Trump has done in his entire national political career. 0.95

00:18:03.000 He's exposed the silliness. 0.61

00:18:04.780 He's exposed the shallowness. 0.79

00:18:06.600 He's exposed the falsity of all these people who purport to speak for the American people

00:18:13.140 and defend American democracy and represent what is normal.

00:18:16.840 They are not normal.

00:18:17.880 The Beltway is not normal.

00:18:19.440 Joe Biden flooding the country with foreigners is not normal.

00:18:22.340 Transing little kids is not normal. 1.00

00:18:24.400 These people who have control over the media and over the image that is projected toward the American people,

00:18:30.560 they are totally bizarre.

00:18:32.120 They represent extremely fringe views that are not at all popular.

00:18:35.320 You know what's normal?

00:18:36.060 The irredeemable, deplorable in the middle of the country and flyover country

00:18:40.800 who doesn't think that six million foreigners should flood into his country 1.00

00:18:44.640 and diminish his political rights over the course of three years.

00:18:47.900 That's the normal.

00:18:48.760 That's the actual normal guy.

00:18:50.500 And whether he succeeds or fails, Trump represents that guy.

00:18:56.140 I'm not saying Trump's going to win.

00:18:57.880 I'm not saying the Trump movement's going to win.

00:18:59.100 I'm not saying that that guy, that deplorable guy in the middle of the country, 0.94

00:19:01.560 is going to have the last laugh over the Beltway lunatic.

00:19:03.920 I'm just saying that's where the battle lines are.

00:19:07.160 And you want to ask me who's normal and who's abnormal?

00:19:10.620 It's not even close.

00:19:12.460 There is no competition.

00:19:14.580 Now, speaking of the abnormality of our ruling political class and Joe Biden,

00:19:21.320 Joe Biden is leaning in on abortion.

00:19:26.040 The Republicans are leaning in on immigration.

00:19:28.080 Joe Biden and the Democrats are leaning in on abortion.

00:19:30.280 They just aired an ad about the awful, dire, terrible consequences for women

00:19:36.040 of the Supreme Court's decision to stop pretending that there's a constitutional right

00:19:41.140 to slaughter 800,000 babies a year.

00:19:44.020 I'm an OB-GYN in Texas and a mother of three wonderful children.

00:19:48.940 Having this beautiful, messy, chaotic, but wonderful family, it's the joy of my life.

00:19:54.080 I never thought that I would need an abortion for a planned pregnancy, but I did. 0.81

00:19:58.380 Two years ago, I became pregnant with a baby I desperately wanted.

00:20:04.660 At a routine ultrasound, I learned that the fetus would have a fatal condition

00:20:09.400 and that there was absolutely no chance of survival.

00:20:13.980 In Texas, you are forced to carry that pregnancy, 1.00

00:20:18.460 and that is because of Donald Trump overturning Roe v. Wade.

00:20:21.640 The choice was completely taken away.

00:20:23.760 I was to continue my pregnancy, putting my life at risk. 0.78

00:20:29.700 It's every woman's worst nightmare, and it was absolutely unbearable. 1.00

00:20:34.100 We need leaders that will protect our rights and not take them away,

00:20:38.480 and that's Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

00:20:41.540 I'm Joe Biden, and I approve this message.

00:20:44.820 Okay, if what she said were true, that would be pretty compelling, right?

00:20:48.580 I'm a mom.

00:20:49.660 I'm not just one of the typical abortion users.

00:20:54.540 I'm not just someone who has no regard for babies

00:20:56.740 and doesn't want to face any consequences from her actions 0.53

00:20:59.300 and wants to divorce the ends of sex from sex.

00:21:01.000 No, no, I'm a mom.

00:21:01.960 I wanted this kid, but my kid had this condition,

00:21:05.900 and there was a 0% chance that the kid would survive,

00:21:08.180 and it put my life at risk.

00:21:10.380 But because of Donald Trump and then the Texas Republicans,

00:21:13.360 don't forget, Donald Trump didn't outlaw abortion in America.

00:21:15.520 He appointed judges who recognized that there's no right to abortion anywhere,

00:21:20.840 certainly not in the Constitution, and left the issue up to the states.

00:21:24.280 And because of Texas, they wanted me to carry my baby to term.

00:21:28.200 They wouldn't even let me murder my baby, and that risked my life.

00:21:32.680 If the premise were true, I guess her argument would be somewhat compelling. 0.99

00:21:37.420 The problem is, if my aunt had cojones, she'd be my uncle. 1.00

00:21:42.740 The problem is, if my grandma had wheels, she'd be a wagon. 1.00

00:21:45.280 The problem is, the premise isn't true.

00:21:46.860 This woman's name is Dr. Austin Denard. 0.58

00:21:50.260 She's an OB-GYN.

00:21:52.700 I wonder if she is an abortionist herself, as a number of OB-GYNs are. 0.99

00:21:56.320 I don't know.

00:21:56.880 I have no idea.

00:21:57.560 Just kind of wondering.

00:21:58.720 The woman is this fanatically pro-abortion, 0.84

00:22:01.020 that she would become the face of the pro-abortion movement

00:22:02.920 for the President of the United States,

00:22:04.300 raises questions about her involvement with the issue.

00:22:07.660 She learned that her baby, very sadly, had a condition called anencephaly,

00:22:12.240 which is fatal.

00:22:14.700 So all that stuff might be true.

00:22:17.120 The part that's not true is that it risked her life.

00:22:20.340 It didn't.

00:22:22.040 Anencephaly does not cause life-threatening complications.

00:22:26.200 And furthermore, Texas allows for abortions 0.95

00:22:29.540 when the mother faces complications that could impact her health.

00:22:33.040 Not even that will very likely kill her, that could impact her health.

00:22:35.820 So every political point, the medical point she makes,

00:22:40.960 and then all the political points, completely fake news.

00:22:43.920 There was a 2019 study conducted by the Journal of Clinical Medicine Research

00:22:48.160 of anencephalic pregnancies that are not aborted, right?

00:22:53.600 That do not end up with a mother killing her child, as this woman wanted to do. 1.00

00:22:57.000 And they found that not one of them, not one of these 28 pregnancies resulted in maternal deaths.

00:23:03.320 Any complications that did occur were treatable.

00:23:06.060 It's just totally fake.

00:23:07.280 And the libs always have to do this. 1.00

00:23:10.360 The libs always have to lie about part of it.

00:23:15.840 Because the reality, if this woman came out and actually told the truth, which is, 0.85

00:23:19.900 I got pregnant, something very sad happened, 0.99

00:23:22.220 and so I wanted to take the decision into my own hands and kill my baby, 0.98

00:23:25.840 rather than just waiting it out a little bit and allowing my child to live as long as he could 0.99

00:23:31.380 before he very likely would die, rather than that, she had to say, I was going to die.

00:23:37.060 You weren't.

00:23:38.420 You wouldn't.

00:23:38.860 And the fact that they have to lie about this to give a moral justification for what they want to do

00:23:43.900 is the proof that they know that as things stand in reality,

00:23:47.140 there is no moral justification whatsoever.

00:23:50.320 Now, we turn from morality to money.

00:26:05.640 The Democrat position on abortion, which is an issue they're leaning into,

00:26:09.760 is not only heinous and wrong and evil and deeply unjust, it's also pretty unpopular.

00:26:19.060 Not the position that they pretend to hold, where they say, oh, I love babies.

00:26:23.320 I would never want to kill my baby.

00:26:24.620 But I just, you know, in certain very rare cases, when a threat to my life is presenting itself,

00:26:30.640 then I might tragically have to accept it.

00:26:32.720 That's not the Democrat view on abortion.

00:26:34.200 They are lying when they say that.

00:26:36.200 You want to know what the Democrat view on abortion is?

00:26:38.280 They just told us in a new Marist poll.

00:26:42.940 The Democrat view on abortion is that when presented with a Down syndrome baby,

00:26:50.460 you know, you do a little test while the baby's in the womb,

00:26:52.660 and say, oh, your baby's going to have Down syndrome. 1.00

00:26:54.200 Most Democrats want to murder that baby. 1.00

00:27:00.020 Most of them. 0.99

00:27:02.660 The question, I'll give it to you straight so you don't think I'm hiding anything here.

00:27:06.420 Do you strongly support, support, oppose, or strongly oppose abortion

00:27:10.600 because the child will be born with Down syndrome?

00:27:13.120 56% of Dems say they support those abortions.

00:27:16.720 Only 42% oppose.

00:27:18.820 Not even close. 0.99

00:27:19.960 Which means that most Democrats want to genocide retarded people. 0.98

00:27:27.380 Not all people with mental retardation, but actually a specific group of people 0.94

00:27:31.820 who can be extremely high-functioning, who, according to every social scientific statistic,

00:27:37.040 will report higher levels of happiness, certainly than Democrats. 0.99

00:27:42.300 They say, we got to murder those people. 0.96

00:27:44.280 And you know the craziest part of all? 1.00

00:27:45.460 Well, they will attack me for just using the word retarded. 0.55

00:27:51.620 It occurs to me. 0.73

00:27:52.420 They certainly will attack me.

00:27:53.740 There will probably be a clip from this segment from some left-wing outlet

00:27:56.720 saying Michael Knowles used the word mental retardation in a precise and clinical sense.

00:28:03.120 Yeah, yes, that's true.

00:28:04.000 I used words clearly to express something that exists in the world. 0.98

00:28:09.100 You want to murder these people. 0.97

00:28:11.420 Are you kidding me? 1.00

00:28:12.780 And they'll do it with a straight face.

00:28:14.060 These are the people who, if you eat meat, they will say, oh, you're so heartless.

00:28:21.180 You would kill a cow just to make you a hamburger? 1.00

00:28:28.180 Yeah, you would murder someone for having some mental problems. 1.00

00:28:31.760 You would murder them. 1.00

00:28:32.660 A little baby, actually. 1.00

00:28:34.660 Not even like an adult who commits a crime or something.

00:28:37.540 You actually wouldn't kill the adults who commit the crimes. 0.99

00:28:39.900 You would kill the little baby because he doesn't have quite as many IQ points as you wish he would. 0.99

00:28:46.220 Go even further. 0.99

00:28:47.980 Ask one of these Democrats what they think about puppies.

00:28:51.540 You say, hey, you think it's wrong to kick a puppy?

00:28:53.680 Of course it's wrong to kick a puppy. 0.96

00:28:56.240 What kind of heartless, cruel monster would kick a puppy? 0.99

00:28:59.720 Hey, okay, what do you think about babies with some mental problems? 1.00

00:29:03.940 Oh, yeah, we got to murder them all. 1.00

00:29:05.120 Kill them all. 1.00

00:29:06.080 Of course. 1.00

00:29:07.500 Could you imagine how inconvenient they would be?

00:29:09.680 They might not be exactly how you want.

00:29:11.580 They might have a slight imperfection.

00:29:13.520 Unlike all of us, we're just totally perfect, right?

00:29:16.800 Oh, yes, we're so.

00:29:17.800 Are you kidding me?

00:29:18.660 Totally sick stuff.

00:29:23.060 And so I will dismount my high horse for a second and move away from the moral part of this and just focus on the political part. 0.99

00:29:31.160 This is a complete loser for Democrats. 0.86

00:29:33.480 The abortion issue framed in the real way that it really is presented in the world is a huge loser for Democrats, huge winner for Republicans. 0.91

00:29:45.200 In all cases, but especially this, hey, the most vulnerable person that you could possibly imagine, not just a person, but a little baby, not just a little baby, but a little baby with particular challenges.

00:29:59.860 You want to murder that person?

00:30:01.700 Oh, yeah, we absolutely do. 0.99

00:30:03.320 That is as ghastly a political position as anyone could possibly hold.

00:30:10.640 And you know that the squish Republicans are going to run away from this. 1.00

00:30:13.700 They're, oh, we don't want to talk about abortion.

00:30:15.540 Abortion, no, it's that Democrats win on abortion. 0.55

00:30:17.380 No, they don't win on this.

00:30:19.260 I should hope they don't win. 1.00

00:30:20.580 If Democrats win on this, if most Americans hold the view that most Democrats hold, which is that we should kill mentally retarded babies, we should murder mentally retarded people because they have no value at all, then forget Democratic politics, I guess. 0.99

00:30:35.120 Then the country's totally lost and whatever. 1.00

00:30:37.680 Let's go keep our heads down before the end times.

00:30:40.120 I don't think most Americans feel that way.

00:30:43.860 I don't think so, at least not yet.

00:30:46.800 Lean into this issue.

00:30:48.620 It's the right thing to do because these people on the left are actually genocidal, but it's also going to be a political winner.

00:30:57.860 It's a winner if people have courage to talk about it.

00:31:00.400 The libs are not just implicitly embracing evil.

00:31:03.440 They are now very explicitly promoting it.

00:31:08.340 There's a show that's been making the rounds on social media.

00:31:12.000 It's called Has Been Hotel.

00:31:13.740 It's a cartoon.

00:31:14.440 It's a kid's cartoon that you can get on Amazon Prime right now.

00:31:17.960 And it's a defense of the devil.

00:31:20.940 Once upon a time, there was a glowing city protected by golden gates known as heaven.

00:31:30.420 It was ruled by beings of pure light, angels that worshipped good and shielded all from evil.

00:31:38.120 Lucifer was one of these angels.

00:31:40.500 He was a dreamer with fantastical ideas for all of creation.

00:31:44.180 But he was seen as a troublemaker by the elders of heaven, for they felt his way of thinking was dangerous to the order of their world.

00:31:52.540 So he watched as the angels began to expand the universe in their ways.

00:31:57.380 From the dust of earth, they created Adam and Lilith, equals as the first of mankind.

00:32:03.800 But despite this, Adam demands...

00:32:04.820 Put a pause there.

00:32:06.000 So a lot of people are going to wonder, wait, Lilith?

00:32:08.140 Who's Lilith?

00:32:08.680 I know Adam and Eve.

00:32:09.560 Who's Lilith?

00:32:10.260 Lilith is a figure from Jewish folklore. 0.99

00:32:15.320 So Lilith is not a figure from scripture.

00:32:18.220 Lilith is not a figure from church tradition.

00:32:21.440 But Lilith appears in the Babylonian Talmud and some other Jewish folklore.

00:32:25.360 And she's presented as the first wife of Adam who refused to submit to Adam.

00:32:31.500 So already you're seeing a fairly...

00:32:34.840 I mean, you've seen it from the beginning of a fairly novel take on the...

00:32:40.260 creation story.

00:32:41.640 It goes on.

00:32:42.540 But despite this, Adam demanded control and Lilith refused to submit to his will.

00:32:48.440 She fled the garden. 0.94

00:32:50.140 Drawn in by her fierce independence, Lucifer found her and the two rebellious dreamers fell deeply in love.

00:32:58.120 Together, they wished to share the magic of free will with humanity,

00:33:02.740 offering the fruit of knowledge to Adam's new bride, Eve, who gladly accepted.

00:33:07.000 But this gift came with a curse.

00:33:09.620 For with this single act of disobedience, evil finally found its way into earth.

00:33:14.620 With it, a new realm of darkness and sin, and the order heaven had worked to maintain, was shattered.

00:33:21.460 As punishment for their reckless act, heaven cast Lucifer and his love into the dark pit he had created,

00:33:28.620 never allowing him to see the good that came from humanity.

00:33:31.400 So notice this little word they sneak in there.

00:33:36.680 They say, Lucifer and his love.

00:33:40.600 But of course, Lucifer cannot love anyone.

00:33:44.240 The traditional understanding of this is that a love is willing the good of the other person.

00:33:50.680 So Fulton Sheen, Archbishop Fulton Sheen, has a great distinction between love and sex, right?

00:33:58.660 Love is about another person and about something outside, even outside of you and the other person.

00:34:07.980 And it's about, inasmuch as it is about a person, it's about the whole person, right?

00:34:12.220 Love gives.

00:34:13.180 Sex, the way we talk about sex these days, you know, hookup culture, say, is purely about the self.

00:34:21.180 Inasmuch as it's about another person, it's just about using that other person's body to gratify the self.

00:34:25.540 It's about instrumentalizing people.

00:34:27.640 C.S. Lewis talks about this in the Screwtape Letters.

00:34:30.600 When human beings talk about desire and love, it's about a desire for another person.

00:34:38.080 C.S. Lewis, when the demons talk about desire and love, it's about a desire to use the other person to devour him.

00:34:44.540 It's about always coming back to the self.

00:34:46.800 So there's no love in the traditional understanding of Lucifer.

00:34:51.780 Then, you know, these poor, hapless little rebels, you know, they're cast and they don't get to see the good that came out of their evil.

00:34:59.140 But the traditional understanding is, and the true understanding, is that the Garden of Eden was perfect.

00:35:04.180 It was totally perfect.

00:35:05.880 And sin and death pervade the world because man is tempted by Adam and abuses his free will.

00:35:12.020 This version of Lucifer is more like a Promethean view of Lucifer.

00:35:17.060 This view of Lucifer is that Lucifer actually helps man to achieve his true potential.

00:35:22.160 And so much more good came out of it, though there was a little bit of evil, too.

00:35:25.200 You know, life's kind of messy, man.

00:35:28.340 Keep going.

00:35:29.020 Only the cruel and the wicked, ashamed, Lucifer lost his will to dream.

00:35:36.180 But Lilith thrived, empowering demankind with her voice and her songs.

00:35:41.280 And as the numbers of hell grew, so did its power.

00:35:45.560 Okay, you get it here.

00:35:48.040 What's funny, from the very beginning, they say Lilith was an equal with Adam.

00:35:51.720 But Eve is presented, in a way, as an equal with Adam, too, because Eve is taken from Adam's rib.

00:35:58.920 So not from his head, she's not above Adam, not from his foot, she's not below Adam, it's from his rib.

00:36:03.320 Though they have different roles and they're complementary.

00:36:05.860 And so she does submit to Adam.

00:36:08.260 I mean, you hear this in Genesis chapter 3 when they're about to leave the Garden of Eden.

00:36:12.200 And Adam is called on to love Eve.

00:36:14.840 Here, though, you get a mixture of Satanism and feminism. 1.00

00:36:17.540 And the show is listed as being for mature audiences.

00:36:22.040 But do you really think kids aren't going to watch that show?

00:36:25.420 I mean, I remember when I was a kid, South Park was for mature audiences.

00:36:29.440 Kids loved South Park, myself included.

00:36:31.540 And though there's some naughty stuff in South Park, relatively to the rest of the culture,

00:36:35.860 it's not so bad because South Park has a broadly normal and conservative message.

00:36:39.920 This, not so much.

00:36:42.380 So the ride is up in arms and everyone's clutching their pearls and everyone's so shocked.

00:36:47.020 Can you believe what the culture has come to, that they would do this?

00:36:50.300 I'm not shocked at all.

00:36:51.580 None of this is surprising.

00:36:52.760 None of this is new.

00:36:53.520 None of this is original.

00:36:54.660 This is the same thing you see in the first pages of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. 0.69

00:36:59.520 Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, the first edition, has, just after the dedication and acknowledgement

00:37:05.140 to Lucifer, that first rebel who lost heaven but won himself a kingdom.

00:37:11.420 Saul Alinsky is saying, I'm modeling my activism.

00:37:13.420 And Saul Alinsky's left-wing activism is the kind of community organizing that directly

00:37:19.400 inspired Hillary Clinton.

00:37:20.540 She wrote letters to Saul Alinsky that inspired Barack Obama, that inspired the modern Democrat

00:37:25.120 party.

00:37:26.020 He says, my leftist activism is Satanism, is Luciferianism.

00:37:33.760 Our inspiration is not God.

00:37:36.380 Our inspiration is not our Lord Jesus Christ.

00:37:39.300 Our inspiration is the devil.

00:37:43.440 And Amazon says, yeah, that, what he said.

00:37:46.540 Okay, yeah, that's what we've been seeing from the beginning.

00:37:48.940 Leftism, from the beginning, has been a rebellion against God.

00:37:56.800 Leftism, the term, comes from the National Assembly during the French Revolution, when the

00:38:01.980 people on the right of the assembly hall supported the church and the king.

00:38:06.600 And the people on the left of the assembly hall opposed the church and the legitimate authority.

00:38:13.940 It's always been about that, man.

00:38:15.840 It goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden, when men say, ye shall be as gods.

00:38:19.460 That's what it goes back to.

00:38:21.920 It goes back to the Tower of Babel, when men tried to become higher than God. 0.96

00:38:25.840 And in their pride, they were scattered all around the world.

00:38:27.980 And had they just put themselves at the foot of Calvary, on their knees, they would have

00:38:32.000 actually been the inheritors of a far greater gift to become children of God.

00:38:37.580 You know, Satan here, in this story, is just, he's motivated out of charity and love for mankind.

00:38:43.480 Satan is, by definition, devoid of charity.

00:38:46.140 What really happened is, and in the traditional telling, Satan is envious of man.

00:38:51.120 Why is he envious of man?

00:38:52.840 Some say he's envious of God's power.

00:38:54.980 I don't think, maybe that's some of it, but he's also envious of man, because man is made

00:39:00.120 lower than the angels.

00:39:01.280 He's fleshy.

00:39:02.340 The cartoon gets it right. 0.99

00:39:04.200 In the beginning, they say, angels are pure spirit.

00:39:07.840 Yeah, that's true.

00:39:09.020 And man is made lower than the angels.

00:39:11.300 But in the incarnation, when God becomes flesh and dwells among us, that incarnation elevates

00:39:18.320 man above the angels.

00:39:19.280 And Satan couldn't stand that, which is why he hates man and tempts man and is constantly

00:39:24.240 trying to devour our souls, including through silly little cartoons that are now appearing 0.55

00:39:28.140 on Amazon. 0.85

00:39:28.960 Nothing new.

00:39:29.680 It's been the story for all of history.

00:39:31.600 My favorite comment yesterday is from Levan Mikadz, 47, 48, who says, anyone could have

00:39:39.480 had a great 45% if they had Democrats voting for them in the GOP primary as well.

00:39:45.840 Nikki Haley is only in there to do as much damage as possible before eventually dropping 1.00

00:39:51.040 out.

00:39:51.180 I totally disagree with this.

00:39:53.580 I totally disagree.

00:39:54.560 I see your point.

00:39:55.840 You're saying Nikki Haley is more liberal than Trump or Nikki Haley is the more moderate.

00:39:59.260 Yeah, yeah, that's obviously true.

00:40:01.640 But not every candidate could get a bunch of Dems to vote for her in a primary. 0.96

00:40:06.120 Ron DeSantis couldn't do that, probably.

00:40:08.360 That was always DeSantis' problem in the race, is Nikki Haley is running in the anti-Trump 0.99

00:40:12.920 lane.

00:40:13.320 And she can credibly position herself as an anti-Trump figure who attracts never Trump, who

00:40:18.700 attracts some moderate Democrats, who attracts the establishment GOP.

00:40:23.360 DeSantis could never do that because all of those groups I just mentioned hate Donald

00:40:27.380 Trump, and they hate Ron DeSantis a little bit less.

00:40:30.680 But they still hate him because he's kind of like Donald Trump and because he's wielded

00:40:34.400 power effectively in Florida.

00:40:36.080 So Nikki actually pulled off a pretty impressive political maneuver there by being able to consolidate 1.00

00:40:42.720 all of that support.

00:40:43.900 I don't think she's just in it to cause as much trouble as possible.

00:40:46.260 I think she's in it because she has no incentive to drop out.

00:40:49.300 I don't think she has a path to victory.

00:40:51.880 She, as she's currently running her campaign, is certainly not representing the conservative

00:40:55.360 wing of the party.

00:40:56.820 She is, as she must, representing the other wing of the party.

00:41:00.760 But I think she's going to stay in until she runs out of money and stops raising her name 1.00

00:41:05.880 recognition and stops galvanizing support and stops setting herself up for a future political

00:41:11.580 career as the opponent to Trumpism, or at least having a lot of speaking tours and sitting

00:41:17.740 on a lot of corporate boards.

00:41:19.020 And none of that's happening right now.

00:41:21.460 She is only winning on all of those fronts.

00:41:24.400 She'll only get out when there's an incentive to do it, and it's not happening yet.

00:41:28.020 Now, speaking of nothing changing on the left, Jon Stewart is returning to The Daily Show.

00:41:37.960 I barely remember when Jon Stewart took over The Daily Show.

00:41:41.940 I just mentioned watching South Park as a kid in the 90s.

00:41:45.940 In the 90s, Comedy Central was a very small TV channel, and South Park was this juggernaut

00:41:50.780 that really made it a big deal.

00:41:52.120 And there was another show that was pretty big for Comedy Central standards, not compared

00:41:56.140 to South Park, but by the standards of this cable network, which was The Daily Show.

00:42:00.100 And it was hosted by Craig Kilbourne, and it was a funny show.

00:42:04.080 And then Jon Stewart took it over in 99 or something, and he made it a big deal.

00:42:11.600 Not really among viewers, but among the media.

00:42:15.320 The ratings were always relatively low for The Daily Show, but the right kind of people watched.

00:42:19.620 People who were working in the media would watch it.

00:42:21.800 And so he got way outsized press coverage.

00:42:24.520 He had a way bigger influence on politics.

00:42:27.040 It became a real cultural phenomenon.

00:42:28.900 I watched that show a bunch when I was a kid.

00:42:30.480 He's a very funny comedian, Jon Stewart.

00:42:33.540 And then he created all these spinoffs, the Stephen Colbert show, and John Oliver, and all

00:42:39.240 these other people.

00:42:40.020 And it had a lot of influence.

00:42:41.720 And then the moment Jon Stewart left that show, it completely went to pot.

00:42:45.600 No one really talked about it anymore.

00:42:47.940 They gave the show to Trevor Noah.

00:42:49.480 He was a total flop in that position.

00:42:51.440 Now, I don't even know who the host is.

00:42:53.700 I think they just have a rotating cycle of hosts.

00:42:55.960 And now he's back.

00:42:58.000 He's coming back as an executive producer of the show, and he's going to host the show

00:43:00.940 one night a week.

00:43:02.000 Why do I care?

00:43:03.140 Again, not even that many people watched it back when it was a big popular show.

00:43:06.880 The significance of this story is that it reminds us, the Democrats have nothing new.

00:43:16.380 The Democrats have nothing exciting to look forward to.

00:43:19.540 The Democrats, the liberals broadly, peaked in the late 2000s.

00:43:24.940 That was peak popular lib Democrat American politics.

00:43:31.160 End of Bush.

00:43:32.040 Everyone's angry at Bush.

00:43:33.400 Obama's coming up.

00:43:34.940 He's a good-looking guy, and he's the first black president.

00:43:38.060 And he gives speeches that impress some people, not me, but some people.

00:43:41.160 And yeah, wow, hope and change.

00:43:44.940 And none of that worked out.

00:43:46.880 And Obama said he wanted to fundamentally transform America because, obviously, he hates America.

00:43:51.760 You don't want to fundamentally transform something that you love.

00:43:54.180 So, he succeeded largely in doing that, and since then, it's all been on the decline.

00:44:01.060 Since then, you had Obama's economy was still terrible.

00:44:04.380 He divided the country.

00:44:05.900 He did win re-election, but then just after Trump, you had a huge reaction, or just after

00:44:10.620 Obama, you had a huge reaction against him in the form of Donald Trump.

00:44:14.020 Trump, the left has not recovered.

00:44:17.960 How could they?

00:44:19.740 What's their new idea?

00:44:21.340 We're going to flood the country with more illegals? 1.00

00:44:23.500 We're going to—what's the new idea?

00:44:26.060 We're going to oppose war.

00:44:27.600 What are you talking about?

00:44:28.400 Barack Obama bombed more countries than George Bush did.

00:44:31.720 The world order got much shakier under Obama than it did even under Bush.

00:44:35.280 Well, we're going to stop, you know, just subsidizing the rich.

00:44:40.260 What are you talking about?

00:44:40.840 Democrats are the party of the rich, and Republicans are the party of deplorables and irredeemables 1.00

00:44:44.520 and bitter-clinging white trash that you all absolutely condemn and have nothing but 1.00

00:44:49.680 disdain for. 1.00

00:44:51.280 Well, yeah, okay, that's true.

00:44:52.700 Well, we're the—we're the what?

00:44:54.600 We're the what?

00:44:55.120 You got nothing.

00:44:56.220 You got nothing, guys.

00:44:57.040 And so, the best they can do is drag this poor man out of retirement and put him back

00:45:01.320 in the Daily Show chair and try to recapture the magic.

00:45:04.760 Magic's gone, baby.

00:45:06.280 So, because they're not going to get that spark back, the only thing the Democrats can do is

00:45:10.620 tighten their grip on power.

00:45:12.780 When you have a popular political movement and you have cohesion and you have a clear

00:45:18.460 vision, you can afford a looser grip on power because people just all kind of know what

00:45:24.540 they're doing and they just naturally do it and they go in the right direction and they

00:45:27.380 vote for the candidates you want them to vote for and they support the policies you want

00:45:30.180 them to support.

00:45:31.200 When the ruling class and the people are at odds with one another and increasingly at

00:45:36.140 odds, then the ruling class has to tighten that grip on power. 0.92

00:45:39.040 They have to erect all sorts of fences around the Capitol and around the White House.

00:45:45.080 And meanwhile, they're tearing down the fences at the southern border, which is part of the

00:45:48.180 reason the people hate the leaders in charge, or at the very least, are very frustrated with

00:45:52.520 them.

00:45:52.980 You got to start arresting Midwestern grannies for taking selfies on January 6th, the worst 1.00

00:45:56.980 day ever.

00:45:57.820 You got to start throwing the leader of the opposition into prison.

00:46:00.420 You got to start prosecuting him.

00:46:01.480 You got to start sending federal troops down to the border to stop states from exercising

00:46:05.400 their constitutional right to protect themselves.

00:46:08.120 You got to really tighten that grip on power.

00:46:11.700 And we're in January of 2024.

00:46:14.240 Okay, we're in January and there are four prosecutions against the leader of the opposition

00:46:17.940 and Joe Biden is contemplating sending the army in to physically remove the Texas National

00:46:24.000 Guard and open up a pathway for foreigners to invade. 1.00

00:46:26.620 What day is it?

00:46:27.920 It's January 25th.

00:46:31.540 We got 10 more months of this before the election and we've got 11 more months in the year.

00:46:40.580 There is no sign that any of this is going to loosen up.

00:46:44.180 We had our first constitutional crisis before the war began, the prosecutions.

00:46:48.520 We had our second constitutional crisis in the first month of the year.

00:46:51.320 Can you imagine what the next months hold?

00:46:55.080 Now, speaking of the Democrats tightening their grip, there's a guy running against

00:46:59.540 Joe Biden on the Democrat side.

00:47:03.160 I'm not talking about Bobby Kennedy.

00:47:04.580 He's running as an independent now.

00:47:06.260 I'm not even talking about Marianne Williamson or some of the other fringy candidates. 0.80

00:47:10.540 There's a guy, Dean Phillips, Democrat congressman, running against Joe Biden right now in a primary.

00:47:16.780 And he theoretically could get some votes.

00:47:21.080 You know, Dean Phillips is a guy who's voted with Joe Biden 100% of the time.

00:47:27.180 And yet thinks Biden's not the man for the job right now.

00:47:30.440 So he's just running to say, hey, I want to give Democrats an alternative.

00:47:34.420 And the Democrats will not let this guy get his name out there.

00:47:39.200 The Democrats in no way will let this guy get a fair shake.

00:47:41.280 And in fact, the court has admitted at the Democrats' request that the Democrats have

00:47:48.040 every right to rig their primary.

00:47:50.520 So this wasn't even recently, six years ago, seven years ago, a federal judge,

00:47:56.080 William Zlock, dismissed a lawsuit against the DNC made on behalf of Bernie Sanders,

00:48:03.400 against whom supporters alleged the DNC rigged the primary because they did.

00:48:07.580 And the DNC won.

00:48:11.680 The court said, yeah, the party has every right to rig its own primaries.

00:48:18.080 And it does.

00:48:19.000 The party picks the nominee.

00:48:20.280 We think that it's the people who pick the nominee.

00:48:21.680 It's the party that picks the nominee.

00:48:22.860 And then the people are supposed to pick the president.

00:48:25.440 Though I'm not sure that that always happens.

00:48:28.080 The Democrats have always been a little more inclined to wield power.

00:48:30.740 That's why they have mechanisms like superdelegates in their party. 1.00

00:48:33.460 That's why they have ways for party bosses to maintain more control over that. 0.99

00:48:37.120 Well, the Democrats control the government.

00:48:39.340 And they're going to bring that philosophy.

00:48:40.980 Republicans still have this philosophy that people and states should have more control

00:48:45.460 and we should recognize subsidiarity and federalism and local control.

00:48:49.040 Democrats have no sense of that.

00:48:50.920 And as they lose, as they lose popular support on basically every issue,

00:48:56.480 they are going to bring that tightened grip philosophy to bear on every level of power that

00:49:01.840 they control, which is basically all of them.

00:49:03.620 Now, some people are fighting back at the state level, including my guest in the Membrum Segmentum.

00:49:08.960 That would be Oklahoma State Senator Dusty Devers, who is proposing outlawing porn,

00:49:15.860 punishing it, and also punishing people who send adulterous sexts to one another.

00:49:23.080 I think this is terrific.
