Summary

A federal court has just convicted six pro-lifers of peacefully trying to discourage infanticide, an apparent crime that apparently carries up to 11 years in prison. It brings to mind a question that I have raised before: Is Joe Biden a more evil ruler than Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping?

00:00:30.400 A federal court has just convicted six pro-lifers of peacefully trying to discourage infanticide,
00:00:36.880 an apparent crime that apparently carries up to 11 years in prison.
00:00:41.800 Here is a short clip from Greg Price of the supposed crime
00:00:45.180 which occurred almost three years ago in Nashville.
00:00:52.780 You can see clearly that the pro-lifers are wielding their assault hymns
00:00:58.220 while they assume the extremely threatening crisscross applesauce sitting position.
00:01:05.940 That's enough of that.
00:01:07.800 More than a decade in prison.
00:01:09.500 It brings to mind a question that I have raised before.
00:01:11.840 Is Joe Biden a more evil ruler than Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping?
00:01:17.020 I know. I know.
00:01:18.680 Crazy.
00:01:19.960 Those guys are autocrats.
00:01:22.260 Xi Jinping persecutes Muslims.
00:01:24.100 Vladimir Putin tries to re-annex former Soviet territory.
00:01:28.300 I know. It's bad.
00:01:29.620 I'm not saying that isn't bad.
00:01:32.340 But Joe Biden is imprisoning people.
00:01:35.340 Lots of people.
00:01:36.820 For peacefully suggesting that we stop murdering babies.
00:01:42.320 Is there anything more cartoonishly evil than that?
00:01:46.480 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:01:47.900 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:07.880 Welcome back to the show.
00:02:09.160 Elon Musk is going to turn us all into cyborg humanoids
00:02:14.460 by hacking into our brains.
00:02:17.860 Maybe not all of us.
00:02:18.900 But he's started to do it with one person.
00:02:20.520 We'll get to that in just a moment.
00:02:21.580 First though, what are these pro-lifers being convicted for?
00:02:26.460 What are they going to go to prison for?
00:02:28.660 It's for violating something called the FACE Act.
00:02:31.680 And the FACE Act is some dumb law that should obviously be repealed
00:02:35.260 that was intended largely to protect abortion clinics
00:02:39.460 from anyone ever, forget about exposing the crimes
00:02:42.960 that take place in there,
00:02:43.920 but even just demonstrating around them.
00:02:46.220 That the FACE Act is the shut up pro-lifers
00:02:49.140 who don't think we should slaughter babies act.
00:02:52.520 That's really what it's about.
00:02:53.480 But that's not all the FACE Act does.
00:02:55.100 Because if that were all that the law explicitly endeavored to do,
00:03:01.220 there's no way it ever would have passed.
00:03:02.760 Certainly not 20, 30 years ago
00:03:05.260 when the Democrats at least paid lip service
00:03:08.460 to being somewhat open to the cause of life.
00:03:11.780 So, as the excellent Senator Mike Lee from Utah points out,
00:03:16.520 the FACE Act prohibits three things.
00:03:19.940 Blocking and vandalizing abortion clinics, yes.
00:03:25.540 And two, places of worship.
00:03:28.880 And three, pregnancy centers.
00:03:31.180 As Senator Lee points out,
00:03:34.280 guess how many FACE Act violations of the second type
00:03:39.300 the Biden administration has pursued.
00:03:43.260 Is your guess, I don't know, a thousand?
00:03:45.780 Is your guess a hundred?
00:03:47.340 Is it ten?
00:03:48.620 Is it one?
00:03:50.180 Zero.
00:03:50.960 Big fat nil.
00:03:52.140 That's how many.
00:03:53.620 And yet we know that there have been many attacks
00:03:56.100 on places of worship.
00:04:00.060 A lot of churches have been vandalized.
00:04:02.420 A lot of graffiti.
00:04:03.400 A lot of synagogues have been attacked and vandalized.
00:04:06.860 Biden doesn't pursue any FACE Act violations there.
00:04:10.080 Any protests outside.
00:04:11.380 Any blocking the access to go to church.
00:04:14.100 For goodness sakes,
00:04:15.180 the federal government blocked access to go to church
00:04:17.520 during the entirety of COVID.
00:04:21.700 Biden doesn't care about that at all.
00:04:23.140 It doesn't matter if it happened two years ago,
00:04:24.960 five years ago, yesterday.
00:04:26.720 All he focuses on is stopping people
00:04:29.660 from peacefully suggesting that perhaps
00:04:32.020 we ought to maybe consider killing fewer babies
00:04:35.060 every single year.
00:04:36.640 Very, very evil administration.
00:04:38.680 It reminds me of that Mitchell and Webb bit
00:04:40.900 where it's the two Nazi guys
00:04:43.220 and they're kind of going over their uniforms
00:04:46.140 and their insignia.
00:04:47.880 They say, you know, you ever think,
00:04:49.620 God, is it possible that we're the baddies?
00:04:52.900 Are we the baddies?
00:04:54.340 I don't want to think that America's the baddies.
00:04:59.660 When you make it a matter of urgent national policy,
00:05:03.100 number one priority,
00:05:04.080 lock up anyone who says we shouldn't kill the babies,
00:05:06.560 we start to look like the baddies.
00:05:09.560 And we got to stop it.
00:05:12.000 Joe Biden needs a lot of help.
00:05:13.860 He's not looking very good right now.
00:05:15.800 And so one suggestion to help Biden
00:05:19.280 that has come from the libs and from Republicans,
00:05:22.540 it's come from MSNBC,
00:05:24.220 and it's also come from conservatives
00:05:25.400 who are very fearful of this outcome,
00:05:27.080 is that Joe Biden might team up with Taylor Swift
00:05:30.020 to win the 2024 election.
00:05:32.380 Here is what the White House press secretary
00:05:34.320 has to say about that possibility.
00:05:37.260 One idea that's been tossed around a bit in jest,
00:05:40.240 sending the president to a stop on Swift's Eras tour.
00:05:44.560 So what would Swift's support give the president?
00:05:47.600 Any plans, any plans to go on tour?
00:05:51.280 So let me first say, I got to be really mindful.
00:05:53.860 I'm a federal employee.
00:05:54.820 As you know, there's something called the Hatch Act,
00:05:56.880 so certainly cannot speak to anything
00:05:59.220 that is related to 2024 and upcoming elections.
00:06:02.540 So you're going to be super, super mindful.
00:06:04.040 Obviously, there are a lot of, I know,
00:06:06.460 in my shop, in the press office shop,
00:06:09.040 there are a lot of Swifties, if you will,
00:06:11.600 fans of Taylor Swift.
00:06:13.200 And so I'm just going to leave it there.
00:06:15.280 I'm not going to get into the president's schedule
00:06:18.200 at all from here as it relates to the 2024 elections.
00:06:22.020 The first time the Hatch Act has been invoked
00:06:23.880 in regards to Taylor Swift.
00:06:25.640 Karine Jean-Pierre, thank you for your time.
00:06:28.240 Let me translate that for you.
00:06:31.000 Yes, we really want Taylor Swift to endorse Joe Biden.
00:06:34.600 Karine Jean-Pierre stumps for Biden all the time,
00:06:39.000 implicitly and sometimes explicitly.
00:06:41.200 But whenever there is a question
00:06:43.100 that she doesn't want to answer,
00:06:44.220 all of a sudden, she is a strict,
00:06:47.220 letter of the law, Hatch Act abider.
00:06:51.260 The Hatch Act which says that government employees
00:06:53.900 can't engage in campaign-related activities.
00:06:56.840 But, you know, in my press office,
00:06:59.400 we sure got a lot of Swifties there.
00:07:01.100 Please, please, Taylor.
00:07:03.380 Please, Travis.
00:07:05.320 Please bail us out.
00:07:06.600 Even if we rig this election from sea to shining sea,
00:07:10.700 we're still not very confident about it.
00:07:12.720 Of course not, because Biden's numbers
00:07:14.300 are not great right now.
00:07:15.840 So they want it.
00:07:16.840 Yeah, of course they do.
00:07:18.300 Plenty of Democrats want to team up with Taylor Swift.
00:07:20.600 And Taylor Swift didn't endorse Joe Biden in 2020.
00:07:23.580 And Joe Biden did run against Donald Trump.
00:07:25.440 So they have good reason to think that she might do that.
00:07:28.460 Though there's good reason to think
00:07:29.660 she might not want to be that involved in this election.
00:07:32.580 Namely, she's the biggest pop star on earth.
00:07:34.920 She's become a billionaire this year.
00:07:37.680 And while she is liberal,
00:07:40.140 she voices some liberal political views,
00:07:42.580 she's not particularly flamboyant about it.
00:07:45.280 Even her endorsement of Biden was somewhat tepid.
00:07:47.620 I think she posted a picture of herself
00:07:49.080 with a Joe Biden cookie.
00:07:50.380 That was about it.
00:07:51.640 Which brings me to my fellow conservatives,
00:07:55.020 who I think are completely misplaying the Taylor card.
00:08:00.720 We'll get to that in one second.
00:08:01.920 First, though, I want to talk to you about Birch Gold.
00:08:04.300 Right now, text Knowles to 98-98-98.
00:08:08.020 Between election season coming later this year,
00:08:10.540 North Korea testing missiles,
00:08:12.520 Iran increasing its aggression.
00:08:14.860 There is a lot of instability as we plunge into the new year.
00:08:19.160 How do you protect your family in the midst of all that chaos?
00:08:21.600 A great place to start is by protecting your savings.
00:08:24.440 It is not too late to invest in gold with Birch Gold Group today.
00:08:28.280 Unlike many other investments,
00:08:30.960 gold is often viewed as a safe haven investment during turbulent times
00:08:34.300 by providing a hedge against inflation and economic uncertainty.
00:08:38.260 Birch Gold will help you convert your existing IRA or 401k
00:08:41.940 into a tax-sheltered IRA in gold.
00:08:44.280 And it doesn't cost you a penny out of pocket.
00:08:46.100 While diversification does not eliminate risk entirely,
00:08:50.240 Birch Gold's experts can help you manage and reduce,
00:08:53.740 providing a more resilient foundation for your financial well-being.
00:08:59.440 I would strongly encourage you to talk to one of their most trusted experts today.

00:09:17.900 Protect your savings with gold.
00:09:19.220 That is Knowles to 98-98-98.
00:09:22.520 Some great conservatives,
00:09:24.980 many of them good friends of mine, I think, are making a mistake.
00:09:28.400 They want to go to war with Taylor Swift.
00:09:31.560 The most extreme version is they're arguing that Taylor Swift is an op.
00:09:36.100 She's a psyop.
00:09:37.340 She was constructed in a lab somewhere at Langley.
00:09:40.200 And she was made famous and wealthy over the course of 15 years
00:09:45.040 for the purpose of endorsing Joe Biden in 2024.
00:09:48.880 And that's what they're going to use her for.
00:09:50.140 That's the really extreme version.
00:09:51.700 The less extreme version is this woman.
00:09:53.900 She's a big lib.
00:09:54.980 And we shouldn't encourage big libs in pop culture.
00:09:58.040 She's everything wrong with society.
00:10:01.140 We need to stop our daughters from listening to her devilish music.
00:10:06.380 I've got an unpopular opinion here.
00:10:10.540 Taylor Swift is temperamentally conservative.
00:10:14.320 I know she probably said something stupid about abortion once.
00:10:18.020 I know she makes vague allusions to the LGBT LMNOP community.
00:10:24.380 I know.
00:10:24.980 I get it.
00:10:25.540 I know.
00:10:26.360 Yeah.
00:10:26.760 She's a millennial white girl catering to an audience of affluent,
00:10:32.420 mostly white girls,
00:10:34.100 though obviously some other people too,
00:10:35.220 because she's the biggest pop star on earth.
00:10:37.340 Yeah.
00:10:37.680 She's also pretty.
00:10:42.260 She's not covered up in tattoos and piercings and mutilations.
00:10:45.980 She's not shrieking and screaming all the time.
00:10:48.480 For being the biggest pop star in the world,
00:10:50.440 she doesn't actually call that much attention to herself.
00:10:53.160 I couldn't even really tell you what her voice sounds like,
00:10:55.720 because she doesn't talk all that much
00:10:57.100 and make grand political statements and speeches.
00:10:58.980 And she's not seen getting dragged out of nightclubs
00:11:02.420 or having some kind of meltdown.
00:11:05.560 The big time now that we see Taylor Swift
00:11:08.640 is when she's kissing her football player boyfriend on the field.
00:11:13.420 The girl is as American as apple pie.
00:11:15.860 And so I understand.
00:11:16.920 There's a distinction to be had, I know,
00:11:18.780 between being ideologically conservative
00:11:21.460 or philosophically conservative
00:11:22.580 and being temperamentally conservative.
00:11:25.480 But I can work with the latter.
00:11:27.060 Who would you rather your daughter listen to?
00:11:30.520 Doja Cat, who's doing little demon jiggles,
00:11:34.000 or Taylor Swift,
00:11:35.580 who's singing a banal ditty about getting dumped one time?
00:11:40.980 More than one time, I guess.
00:11:42.400 Who would you rather your daughter listen to?
00:11:44.880 Lil Nas X twerking on the devil?
00:11:48.560 Or Taylor Swift,
00:11:50.600 who's going to just like shake it off, shake it off.
00:11:53.100 Obviously Taylor Swift.
00:11:55.500 She's all American.
00:11:57.620 She's conservative.
00:11:58.720 She's pretty and she's normal.
00:12:00.120 And I know that she's a lib,
00:12:03.040 but she's already the biggest star in the world.
00:12:04.980 And I just don't think it's smart for conservatives
00:12:06.800 to make an enemy of her and an enemy of her fans.
00:12:10.200 Her fans are, broadly speaking, pretty normal people.
00:12:13.340 And we should be normal too.
00:12:15.400 And we should be happy that there is one pop star out there
00:12:18.720 who's not actively degrading the culture
00:12:21.640 every single time she takes a breath and sings about it.
00:12:24.440 Okay, that does not seem like a good idea.
00:12:28.860 The woman conducts herself with class.
00:12:30.820 She's dating a football player.
00:12:32.580 It's American.
00:12:33.280 Let's be on board with that.
00:12:35.220 Okay, let's try to mitigate the potential damage
00:12:38.080 of, you know, Biden's Swift 2024.
00:12:41.580 Now, turning to women who are not temperamentally conservative,
00:12:45.320 the chief diversity officer of Harvard University
00:12:50.020 stopped the presses, pull over your car.
00:12:53.840 Turns out that woman was just caught plagiarizing her academic work.
00:12:58.360 I know, I know it's shocking.
00:12:59.720 Because Harvard, you know, would never be caught up in a plagiarism scandal.
00:13:03.600 And more to it, chief diversity officers are held
00:13:07.860 to the absolute highest academic standards, right?
00:13:10.320 When I think of people who get their jobs through merit and merit alone,
00:13:14.500 I think of chief diversity officers,
00:13:17.280 a position that did not exist five years ago
00:13:20.040 and should not exist because it's a shakedown racket.
00:13:23.380 Yeah, they got her.
00:13:24.840 The woman's name is Sherry Ann Charleston.
00:13:28.000 She's Harvard's first chief diversity and inclusion officer,
00:13:30.740 of course, because the position wasn't real.
00:13:32.600 It's still not real, but it didn't even exist on payroll
00:13:35.900 until just a handful of years ago.
00:13:38.940 Not only did she plagiarize.
00:13:40.340 Remember, Claudine Gay, the recent former president of Harvard,
00:13:45.540 she plagiarized something like half of her academic work.
00:13:50.680 This woman has plagiarized part of every single publication
00:13:55.580 that she has ever written.
00:13:58.440 Forty in total, 40 instances of plagiarism in total.
00:14:03.240 Looks like the chief diversity officer had a more prolific publication record
00:14:07.780 than the former president of Harvard.
00:14:09.880 But I guess it's because she was just cutting and pasting a little bit more.
00:14:13.040 This all thanks to reporting from the Washington Free Beacon,
00:14:16.840 Aaron Saberian.
00:14:18.740 Lots of great journalistic work being done out there.
00:14:21.480 Cherry on top, this woman served on the committee,
00:14:26.660 the search committee that picked Claudine Gay.
00:14:28.880 The place is so rotten.
00:14:29.900 We got to just keep picking at this.
00:14:31.620 This is so, this is like shooting fish in a barrel.
00:14:35.020 Chris Ruffo, Aaron Saberian, some other conservative journalists started this up.
00:14:40.380 And now we just pick them all off.
00:14:43.140 Just get them all fired.
00:14:44.120 It's the perfect tactic because plagiarism is perfectly adapted to these types of people.
00:14:58.540 These types of people, the pro-DEI, the chief diversity officer,
00:15:05.240 the race hustling ideologues of the left who get installed in these positions,
00:15:09.780 they are, by definition, poorly educated and dishonest.
00:15:17.140 They're poorly educated.
00:15:18.400 If they were capable of doing real academic work,
00:15:21.800 they would be in a real academic field.
00:15:23.700 They would have a real academic job.
00:15:25.600 But they can't.
00:15:27.040 They're not capable of that.
00:15:29.540 So they end up doing these fake pseudo-academic fields
00:15:32.940 because it's easier to get good grades.
00:15:35.500 And here's where the dishonesty part comes in.
00:15:37.640 Here's where the deception part comes in.
00:15:39.120 It's just a big hustle.
00:15:40.880 It's a big racket where you can just aggrandize your own fake victimhood.
00:15:46.860 And the more you do that, the more lucrative it is for you.
00:15:50.220 So these people self-select as being the least educated,
00:15:57.720 most dishonest people in academia.
00:16:00.440 And we know that.
00:16:01.860 It's on their business card, okay?
00:16:03.560 Let's just pluck them all up.
00:16:04.760 Just look down the publication list of all these people.
00:16:06.920 Throw it into ChatGPT.
00:16:09.360 Throw it into some AI program and say, find me the plagiarism.
00:16:12.900 It's going to come up for like all of them, okay?
00:16:16.240 And that's a great way to do it.
00:16:17.380 The liberals will say this is a cynical approach.
00:16:19.380 They'll say, you've got an end in mind.
00:16:23.380 And you're just backfilling it.
00:16:26.000 You're justifying the end in mind, which is to fire all these people,
00:16:28.940 with the justification that they engaged in plagiarism.
00:16:33.640 To which I say, you're darn tootin'.
00:16:36.160 You bet I am.
00:16:37.340 I'm not saying that the ends justify the means.
00:16:39.280 I'm not saying that good ends justify immoral means.
00:16:41.380 There's nothing immoral about exposing plagiarism,
00:16:44.380 about exposing a serious, the highest academic offense you can possibly commit.
00:16:50.360 And it's a good academic end.
00:16:51.540 These people should not be in these positions.
00:16:53.480 Claudine Gay, this woman, Sherry Ann Charleston.
00:16:57.160 Probably most of these academic administrators, 90% of whom didn't even exist.
00:17:01.520 Their jobs weren't at the universities 10, 20 years ago.
00:17:05.540 Just get rid of all of them.
00:17:06.720 That's the left's power center.
00:17:08.120 We've got a major weakness here.
00:17:09.900 They still feel some degree of shame over that weakness, at least.
00:17:13.040 Publicly, they express it.
00:17:14.360 Get them all.
00:17:15.100 Love it.
00:17:15.760 Many more where that came from.
00:17:17.500 Now, let's turn away from Harvard toward a good school.
00:17:20.320 The Catholic University of America has just fired a professor that we talked about on the show, I think, yesterday.
00:17:26.900 A professor in the psychology department, a woman named Melissa Goldberg.
00:17:30.680 She was a psych lecturer.
00:17:32.820 Invited an abortion doula named Rachel Carboneau.
00:17:37.680 The abortion doula is like a regular doula, which is just a hippie term for a midwife or a helper at a birth.
00:17:43.580 Except instead of helping the women give birth, she helps the women kill their kids.
00:17:47.780 And she does all sorts of weird witchcraft.
00:17:49.360 She does Reiki.
00:17:51.560 And again, if witchcraft you, if Hogwarts wanted to bring this woman to go give a lecture, I guess I would understand it.
00:17:59.940 But the Catholic University of America, that doesn't make a lot of sense.
00:18:02.960 So really, really good news.
00:18:04.640 Catholic University has announced that they have not only scrapped this lecturer lady, the abortion doula,
00:18:10.420 but they also fired the professor who brought her.
00:18:13.360 And that is great.
00:18:14.360 Give me three cheers for cancel culture, baby, because this woman obviously has no place at the Catholic University of America.
00:18:23.640 If you could be so misguided, so ignorant, or so deceptive and subversive as to bring a witch who kills babies to give a lecture on human life to your Catholic University class,
00:18:39.180 then you have no place at that school.
00:18:42.040 And so I'm really, really glad that they did this.
00:18:44.140 We need more of this.
00:18:47.240 You know, there was cancel culture.
00:18:48.480 And then the right said we need to cancel cancel culture, the right being influenced by libertarianism and left-wing ideas like neutrality.
00:18:59.880 They said, oh, we've got to cancel cancel culture.
00:19:01.920 But I've got a third suggestion, which is, no, we should cancel the libs.
00:19:06.420 Cancel them.
00:19:07.120 Because, as I mentioned in my book, Speechless, I guess I don't have a bell on the road, you are going to live under some standards or others.
00:19:15.480 So they should be good standards, not bad ones.
00:19:17.540 They should be true, not false.
00:19:19.540 One of the big problems that we deal with in our society is identity.
00:19:26.480 Everyone is always chattering about identity, racial identity, sexual identity, this identity, that identity.
00:19:31.700 But no one knows who they are.
00:19:36.060 So the identities are always shifting.
00:19:39.100 We're all Rachel Dolezal in this culture, okay?
00:19:42.700 Am I this kind of oppressed group?
00:19:45.880 No, I'm that kind of oppressed group.
00:19:47.400 No, I'm this.
00:19:47.900 No, I'm that.
00:19:48.320 There's a guy, a guy I know, just got married to a woman.
00:19:55.640 But he refers to himself as queer.
00:19:57.660 Still, after he got married to the woman.
00:20:03.300 And I thought, how?
00:20:04.940 He's white.
00:20:06.660 He's married to a woman.
00:20:08.780 He's relatively wealthy.
00:20:10.800 He's extremely well-educated, well-credentialed.
00:20:13.700 How?
00:20:16.640 How's he queer?
00:20:18.700 But I realize he's queer because he needs some identity.
00:20:23.560 It's not, if you're just like a straight, rich, white guy who's married to a woman, you can't, that's nothing to you.
00:20:29.800 You need a struggle.
00:20:31.420 You need some deeper identity.
00:20:34.320 So then you say, okay, I'm queer.
00:20:35.420 What does queer mean?
00:20:36.080 I don't know.
00:20:36.500 It means you're gay.
00:20:37.280 No, you're not gay.
00:20:37.960 You're bi.
00:20:38.460 No, you're not bi.
00:20:39.220 No, you're a pygmy midget.
00:20:41.020 No, you're not this.
00:20:41.980 You're a Zoroastrian.
00:20:42.880 And it just goes on and on and on.
00:20:44.300 And the reason people don't know who they are is because the culture is turned away from God.
00:20:48.900 I don't mean that in any kind of simplistic way.
00:20:51.720 I mean that is a matter of God's definition.
00:20:55.460 Moses in the burning bush.
00:20:58.160 Moses talks to God, who is speaking through the burning bush, and he says, who shall I tell them you are?
00:21:02.880 And God says, I am that I am.
00:21:05.820 Being himself.
00:21:07.720 I am that I am.
00:21:08.920 And so as a priest friend of mine pointed out, if you ground your identity in I am that I am, in being, you will know who you are.
00:21:17.220 And if you don't, you will be left with a pathetic question, which is, who am I?
00:21:21.200 And your identity is going to go on and on and on.
00:21:23.280 The Catholic University, I'm proud to report, knows what it is.
00:21:27.160 It's a Catholic university.
00:21:28.380 They're going to teach Catholic things.
00:21:29.920 They're going to not teach not Catholic things.
00:21:32.060 Would that we could all have that clarity of identity?
00:21:35.500 We on the right, we can't even do that.
00:21:37.340 We said, no, we're a huge tent.
00:21:39.080 We let everybody in.
00:21:40.060 Oh, yeah, we got transgender communists and everything.
00:21:43.080 You can be conservative and be, yeah, we're everybody.
00:21:46.260 We're everything and we're nothing.
00:21:47.460 Okay, well, that's how we get to the confusion that we have now.
00:21:52.180 Speaking of identity, people's identity might be changing because Elon Musk is going to turn us into cyborgs.
00:21:58.620 Musk has just announced the first implantation into a human being of a neural link chip.
00:22:05.500 Neural link is the technology that Musk has been working on for a long time and made a big leap forward in it about three, four years ago.
00:22:12.380 He said, okay, we've got the chip.
00:22:13.700 We're doing tests.
00:22:15.500 Still, a lot of people were skeptical of it ever going to a human.
00:22:18.260 Well, now we've got a chip and a human.
00:22:20.640 The chip is the size of a quarter.
00:22:23.440 The chip sends out brain signal data to an app.
00:22:27.340 The app decodes the data and translates it into actions, meaning you can control devices with your thoughts.
00:22:35.280 People who are, say, extremely paralyzed, you know, not just they have trouble moving around, like they're just totally paralyzed.
00:22:44.160 They might be able to communicate.
00:22:45.580 They might be able to communicate faster than you can communicate.
00:22:48.500 This kind of technology could help the paralyzed communicate.
00:22:54.440 It could help the blind to see.
00:22:56.300 It could help the deaf to hear.
00:22:58.520 And it could meld human beings with robots and open us up to hacking.
00:23:02.920 Hacking our own identities or being hacked by, you know, the Chinese Communist Party or something.
00:23:09.660 Is it a good thing?
00:23:11.540 It's going to help people who have really severe injuries?
00:23:13.880 Or is it a bad thing and it's going to destroy humanity and bring on the apocalypse?
00:23:16.700 I will answer that question for you in just a moment.
00:23:19.960 First, though, they say the eyes that we're talking about here, like the blind seeing, the eyes are the windows to the soul.
00:23:27.800 They also say that the windows are the windows to the house, which is why you've got to check out Renewal by Anderson.
00:23:35.500 Right now, text Knowles to 200-300.
00:23:38.760 If your house is feeling a little chilly right now in the thick of winter, you may need to consider window replacements.
00:23:44.720 And I get it.
00:23:46.180 For most homeowners, window replacement is not something they've ever done before.

00:25:00.360 Back in 2021, Elon Musk said that once Neuralink develops, you could probably save your brain like a video game.
00:25:11.820 Like, you know, right now it's late January of 2024.
00:25:16.600 Save.
00:25:18.480 Okay, and then you keep living a month or so and then God forbid something happens to you.
00:25:22.800 Okay, well, you already saved the file, so you're going to lose your memories from February 2024, but you got the file and you can just reanimate yourself and you'll basically be you.
00:25:31.620 You'll lose a few memories, but you'll be yourself, whatever you means.
00:25:35.860 That's what he promised, and he does seem to be achieving a lot of his transhumanist goals.
00:25:43.940 So, is this good or bad?
00:25:47.380 Some people saying this is awful, you know, kill it, shoot it, shoot the technology, we don't want this.
00:25:52.180 It's going to bring on the end of the world and destroy humanity.
00:25:54.940 Some saying, well, what's the matter with you?
00:25:57.520 You're a Luddite.
00:25:58.860 This is a way to help people who are severely disabled to be able to live better lives.
00:26:03.940 Which is it?
00:26:04.700 Well, that's the distinction.
00:26:06.740 I think you've hit on it.
00:26:07.940 That is the distinction.
00:26:09.320 If this technology is used to restore the functioning that is proper to human beings,
00:26:17.100 if it is used in a way that is medicinal and therapeutic, then it could be a good thing.
00:26:25.020 If, however, the technology is used to augment humanity, to transform humanity,
00:26:34.720 not to fix a problem, but to create a new type of human, then I think that's probably very, very bad.
00:26:42.940 You can think of it as the difference between adoption and surrogacy.
00:26:50.540 Adoption is a beautiful, wonderful thing because it extends through race and charity
00:26:57.880 the ability to fix a problem.
00:27:02.860 The problem being a child born out of wedlock,
00:27:05.220 a child who potentially could have been killed through abortion,
00:27:08.100 a child who is without parents, then the child gets parents.
00:27:12.000 And that fixes a problem.
00:27:13.320 It's a beautiful, charitable, graceful act.
00:27:16.780 Surrogacy is when you breed babies and treat human beings as commodities
00:27:19.940 and sell them on the open market.
00:27:21.560 Very, very bad.
00:27:23.480 It's like the difference between a dog shelter and a breeder.
00:27:26.620 Except there's nothing immoral about breeding puppies.
00:27:29.060 There is something immoral about breeding humans.
00:27:32.040 Humans are different from puppies.
00:27:33.600 Humans are morally significant creatures.
00:27:36.740 And if you augment humanity through this new technology such that it's unrecognizable,
00:27:45.840 well, you may have just abolished humanity.
00:27:48.140 You might be committing an immoral action on that immoral creature.
00:27:51.560 That's it.
00:27:52.080 And the problem right now is the way Elon Musk talks about it.
00:27:54.180 It's a little bit of both.
00:27:55.780 Which is it?
00:27:56.340 Well, the answer is going to be that we need a lot of regulation on this.
00:28:01.340 Industry regulation would be good.
00:28:03.400 Self-regulation from the companies developing this.
00:28:05.380 I guess it's mostly Elon.
00:28:06.740 And government regulation.
00:28:09.000 I know, words you're not supposed to say if you're a right-winger.
00:28:11.520 But when we're talking about abolishing man,
00:28:15.160 when you're talking about transcending homo sapiens
00:28:17.900 and turning homo sapiens into homo deus,
00:28:21.200 god-man, as Yuval Harari, a darling intellectual,
00:28:27.080 public intellectual on the left, suggests,
00:28:29.540 then I think you need a little regulation.
00:28:31.200 Now, speaking of transhumanism, dreadful, dreadful story coming out of Montana.
00:28:37.760 A Montana family is losing custody of its 14-year-old daughter
00:28:42.540 for opposing transgender ideology.
00:28:46.140 This Montana family says that their daughter is a girl and not a boy,
00:28:53.180 because girls can't become boys, and they've now lost their daughter.
00:28:57.380 This is because the school that the daughter went to said that the girl was suicidal,
00:29:03.940 and so they called Child Protective Services.
00:29:06.160 And Child Protective Services, in its infinite wisdom,
00:29:08.360 these government bureaucrats said,
00:29:09.620 oh, well, the cure is to treat your daughter like a boy,
00:29:15.160 and then what?
00:29:16.140 Put her on puberty blockers, and then what?
00:29:17.960 Put her on cross-sex hormones, and then what?
00:29:19.540 Chop off her body parts, and then what?
00:29:21.020 And do things that there is no evidence would improve her life at all,
00:29:26.820 and even if there were, which there isn't, are obviously false.
00:29:33.080 Yeah, and if you don't do that, parents,
00:29:34.960 we're going to take your kid from you.
00:29:36.480 Your little kid, your little 14-year-old kid.
00:29:38.300 And that's exactly what they did.
00:29:40.500 We want to believe that this trans issue is a sideshow.
00:29:45.420 Oh, it's just some weirdos who want to swim on the girls' swimming team,
00:29:49.040 and I don't really care about girls' swimming.
00:29:50.460 Oh, it's just some stuff going on in a bathroom in San Francisco.
00:29:54.000 I don't really, there's weird stuff going on in all the bathrooms of San Francisco.
00:29:56.580 I don't, I don't want, I don't care.
00:29:59.400 Montana, 14-year-olds being taken away from their parents,
00:30:04.880 because the parents believe what everyone has believed
00:30:07.520 for all of human history until six or seven years ago.
00:30:11.780 Happening now in pretty conservative places.
00:30:15.320 Same thing happened in California, not too long ago,
00:30:18.800 to a California mother, and ended extremely tragically,
00:30:21.840 because the daughter, after being run through the gamut
00:30:26.520 by the pro-trans people, and being told she should trans,
00:30:30.280 and she, very sadly, ended up killing herself.
00:30:32.960 Here's the mother's testimony.
00:30:34.820 Name is Abigail Martinez.
00:30:37.460 It has been three years and 164 days since I lost my daughter, Yaeli.
00:30:44.120 I miss her every single day.
00:30:46.360 Let me tell you how she died.
00:30:49.820 My daughter was murdered by a gender ideology.
00:30:53.380 CPS took my daughter when she was 16 years old.
00:30:57.720 It was helped by her public school counselor,
00:31:01.520 an LGBTQ group, Rice, and another trans-identified girl.
00:31:08.240 My daughter was taken from her loving home
00:31:10.900 because the state of California claimed I was abusive
00:31:16.360 for not affirming her trans identity.
00:31:22.500 I lost my daughter over a name and a pronouns.
00:31:26.540 Even after I promised to call her a male name,
00:31:35.180 it wasn't enough.
00:31:36.400 My daughter was not a boy trapped in a girl's body.
00:31:40.900 She had mental health issues.
00:31:45.620 Obviously, of course, if you think you're the opposite sex,
00:31:48.780 obviously you have a mental health issue.
00:31:50.920 Much like anorexia.
00:31:52.340 If you think you're really fat but you're really skinny,
00:31:54.100 you've got a mental issue.
00:31:55.260 You've got a defect of perception.
00:31:57.780 And usually other mental health issues as well.
00:32:01.620 What happens?
00:32:03.340 State comes in, says,
00:32:04.860 Oh no, no mom, sorry.
00:32:07.160 Oh, you're a Christian?
00:32:09.260 Yeah, we're going to take your kid.
00:32:11.560 And then we're going to push your kid into extremely harmful ideologies
00:32:15.460 that statistically will very likely lead them to kill themselves.
00:32:19.400 Which we warned you.
00:32:20.680 We said if you don't do exactly what we say,
00:32:22.520 your kid might kill himself or herself.
00:32:25.340 Yeah, well, it turns out actually they're just as likely
00:32:27.780 or more likely to kill themselves if they do what we tell them to do.
00:32:31.500 But, you know, anyway, we're the state and you're not the state.
00:32:33.740 And what, you're a Christian?
00:32:36.000 What, you're a Jew?
00:32:37.420 What, you're a Muslim?
00:32:38.640 What, you're a reasonable agnostic?
00:32:42.780 What, you're an even semi-reasonable atheist?
00:32:45.520 You believe anything that people believed until around 2015?
00:32:53.300 Yeah.
00:32:53.960 Nope.
00:32:54.480 You don't get your kids anymore then.
00:32:56.480 Happening right now.
00:32:58.640 What's the answer to this?
00:33:02.700 The only answer that could possibly fix this problem
00:33:08.580 is for the good of society
00:33:12.220 and especially for the good of the poor people
00:33:14.440 who have fallen prey to this confusion
00:33:15.720 to eradicate transgenderism from public life entirely,
00:33:19.700 the whole preposterous ideology at every level.
00:33:21.420 Well, because it has to be defined in law.
00:33:25.700 What a man is has to be defined in law.
00:33:27.980 We were talking about how no one knows their identity anymore.
00:33:30.020 That's behind a lot of this trans stuff.
00:33:32.400 If we as a society can't define what a man is
00:33:37.300 and what a woman is,
00:33:38.080 then we can't do very much of anything.
00:33:41.460 We, the reasonable people trying to figure this out,
00:33:44.500 we will be rendered impotent
00:33:45.700 and very bad actors will not be rendered impotent.
00:33:48.560 They will impose their definitions
00:33:50.220 because there will be order.
00:33:52.040 There will be definitions.
00:33:53.120 The law, some kind of law will be enforced
00:33:55.020 because we live in society
00:33:56.300 and people have to make decisions
00:33:57.360 and people have to move on and do things.
00:33:59.380 So if we are struck impotent,
00:34:01.640 we, the conservatives,
00:34:02.560 well, we don't want to be telling people,
00:34:04.360 you know, oh, you live your life.
00:34:06.280 You do you.
00:34:06.960 Do whatever you want in your own bedroom.
00:34:08.500 Just don't make me pay for it or whatever.
00:34:10.100 You know, you can put on a dress
00:34:11.320 and call yourself Sally Jim.
00:34:14.180 Okay, that's going to be codified into the law.
00:34:16.920 And the conclusion of that
00:34:18.340 is not going to be some big burly fetishist
00:34:20.540 going out and, you know,
00:34:21.560 getting his jollies off
00:34:22.440 marching down the street in a tutu.
00:34:24.260 The conclusion of that
00:34:25.480 is going to be the state coming in
00:34:27.020 and taking your kids away from you
00:34:28.280 because you don't want to pretend
00:34:29.360 that your little son is a girl.
00:34:31.940 That's the conclusion.
00:34:33.180 So are we going to grow the anatomical features
00:34:35.060 to actually enforce that or not?
00:34:37.960 Don't think it's,
00:34:38.960 oh, well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
00:34:40.880 We're on the bridge.
00:34:41.660 The bridge is here.
00:34:42.240 Now, speaking of eradication,
00:34:46.540 turning from eradicating ideology
00:34:48.480 to eradicating actual people,
00:34:51.240 Joe Biden is mulling his response
00:34:53.360 to the Iran-backed terrorists.
00:34:56.480 Is he going to launch an attack
00:34:58.820 and eradicate this actual group of people?
00:35:02.380 Is he going to go target the mullahs in Tehran?
00:35:06.600 Is this is obviously in response
00:35:09.400 to the Iran-backed terror attack
00:35:11.400 on an American base,
00:35:14.420 which left three American soldiers dead.
00:35:17.180 What's he going to do?
00:35:20.000 A lot of war hawks
00:35:21.920 are invoking the ghost of Ronald Reagan.
00:35:27.060 You hear this all the time.
00:35:28.260 Most people do not want war with Iran.
00:35:30.460 Most people do not want the U.S.
00:35:31.860 to get bogged down in another mid-Eastern war
00:35:34.160 because we did it for over two decades
00:35:36.420 and we didn't appear to have accomplished
00:35:38.340 very much at the end of it.
00:35:39.800 And you can blame that on Joe Biden
00:35:41.220 or you can blame that on George Bush,
00:35:43.260 but whichever political leader
00:35:45.180 you want to blame it on,
00:35:46.160 that's what people are seeing.
00:35:48.560 And so you've got, on the one hand,
00:35:52.280 the doves on the left and the right
00:35:53.780 saying, we don't want to be involved.
00:35:55.480 Bring the troops home.
00:35:56.520 Let's stop being involved everywhere on Earth.
00:35:58.580 And then you got the war hawks saying,
00:36:00.160 whatever happened to peace through strength?
00:36:02.680 What would Ronald Reagan do?
00:36:04.020 And there's a meme going around right now.
00:36:06.100 They're saying, 1988, Iran mined an American ship.
00:36:13.080 U.S. ship hit with an Iranian mine.
00:36:16.200 It's blown up.
00:36:17.180 There was no loss of life, thankfully.
00:36:19.700 And what did Reagan do?
00:36:22.320 He sunk half the Iranian Navy.
00:36:24.160 That's what he did.
00:36:25.520 Good old Gipper back in the day.
00:36:27.260 Where'd that gumption go?
00:36:28.320 Where'd that cojones go?
00:36:31.020 First of all, the Iranian Navy is like three ships.
00:36:33.760 They don't have the most robust force in the world.
00:36:36.740 But what did he do?
00:36:37.400 He sank two Iranian oil platforms,
00:36:41.080 three warships, several boats,
00:36:43.400 and he took down two fighter jets.
00:36:45.260 So that's a pretty robust response.
00:36:46.840 That's true.
00:36:48.820 And they're all going to point to that.
00:36:50.200 Well, let's rewind a little bit.
00:36:51.360 1983, this is probably a more apt analog.
00:36:56.640 1983, Iranian-backed militants attacked U.S. troops in the Beirut barracks
00:37:03.320 and killed 241 U.S. troops.
00:37:09.700 241.
00:37:11.700 That's a lot of U.S. troops.
00:37:13.140 And what did Reagan do?
00:37:19.940 Nothing.
00:37:21.560 No, not nothing.
00:37:22.460 He didn't retaliate.
00:37:23.840 So that's the nothing.
00:37:25.020 And then he pulled all of the U.S. troops out of Lebanon.
00:37:28.360 And you might say, well, he shouldn't have done that.
00:37:30.120 He should have retaliated.
00:37:31.060 I'm just telling you, what did Reagan do?
00:37:32.720 It's complicated.
00:37:33.660 And we play this game on the right all the time.
00:37:35.620 Who gets to be the most like Ronald Reagan?
00:37:37.580 Who's the...
00:37:38.480 No, I'm the interpreter of Ronald Reagan.
00:37:41.200 No, I'm the interpreter of Ronald Reagan.
00:37:43.980 You especially see this with the squishes.
00:37:45.660 All these squishes, many of whom hated Ronald Reagan at the time.
00:37:48.100 Now they're the standard bearer of Reagan conservatism 40 years later.
00:37:51.880 But no, it's a little more complicated than that.
00:37:55.360 And rather than just try to dig up people who have been dead for decades,
00:37:59.800 I think we need to answer,
00:38:01.900 bringing eternal principles to changing political circumstances,
00:38:04.880 what we're going to do right now.
00:38:06.140 But if you really want to know what Reagan would do in this situation,
00:38:09.640 since we are digging up the body of Ronald Reagan,
00:38:11.720 we do have the ghost coming out here.
00:38:13.660 Seems to me very clear the analog is,
00:38:15.560 do not start a war with Iran.
00:38:18.900 If you're Reagan, you just pull out.
00:38:21.820 A lot of people don't want war, including the libs.
00:38:23.860 We'll get to them in a second.
00:38:24.680 First though, guys, this is a no-brainer.

00:39:20.040 My favorite comment yesterday is from Levi Warren 6222
00:39:24.900 who says,
00:39:25.660 Ilhan Omar saying we are brothers and sisters
00:39:28.640 worries me considering her relationship to her brother.
00:39:33.520 That's a good point.
00:39:35.460 One does not wish to,
00:39:36.480 some of you might wish to be like a brother of Ilhan Omar.
00:39:38.920 I don't know.
00:39:39.540 The unmarried ones.
00:39:40.560 Maybe you do.
00:39:41.060 I don't know if you do.
00:39:41.660 Maybe you do.
00:39:42.040 I don't know.
00:39:42.960 But you're right.
00:39:43.760 Most of us,
00:39:46.460 we don't want to be like a brother of Ilhan.
00:39:48.120 I agree.
00:39:48.460 I totally agree with that.
00:39:51.420 On this issue of the U.S. getting more or less involved
00:39:54.820 in the war in the Middle East,
00:39:57.000 there is oddly enough a consensus now.
00:40:00.200 You've got most of the GOP base saying no thank you.
00:40:05.800 You've got some of the prominent GOP players saying no thank you.
00:40:12.040 You've got a lot of the left wing base,
00:40:16.460 probably most of it,
00:40:17.540 saying no thank you.
00:40:19.320 You even have a host on MSNBC,
00:40:22.280 maybe not openly,
00:40:23.200 but when she gets caught on a hot mic on her own show,
00:40:25.420 Joy Reid on MSNBC,
00:40:26.920 you hear what she really thinks
00:40:28.360 about Joe Biden's response to the Middle East.
00:40:32.080 Over the weekend,
00:40:32.940 President Biden said he's ready to take action
00:40:34.780 if Congress is serious about solving the border issue.
00:40:37.340 If that bill were the law today,
00:40:40.800 I'd shut down the border right now and fix it quickly.
00:40:43.400 And Congress needs to get it done.
00:40:45.320 Starting another f***ing war.
00:40:47.440 Still trying to kill the deal.
00:40:50.860 Starting another f***ing war.
00:40:54.580 Look, this happens sometimes.
00:40:56.740 When you're on air,
00:40:58.340 you cut to a clip,
00:40:59.780 and then you think your mic is cut.
00:41:02.220 So I will use,
00:41:02.900 let's say,
00:41:03.580 I say,
00:41:04.040 all right,
00:41:04.280 I could have done it during this clip.
00:41:05.880 You cut to the clip,
00:41:06.840 and then,
00:41:07.140 I don't know,
00:41:07.420 I need to blow my nose.
00:41:08.960 Or I need to go yell at Professor Jacob,
00:41:11.060 or producer Mr. Ben Davies,
00:41:12.580 or whatever I'm going to do,
00:41:13.780 right?
00:41:14.480 You do it,
00:41:15.020 and then you hope you're all,
00:41:15.720 but sometimes they leave the microphone on.
00:41:17.800 And beautifully here,
00:41:20.360 she's expressing her real feelings about Joe Biden right now.
00:41:23.900 This is a Democrat hack.
00:41:26.080 Joy Reid is as dem hack as it gets.
00:41:30.540 She's going,
00:41:31.120 here we go,
00:41:31.700 Joe Biden again.
00:41:32.560 Starting another f***ing war.
00:41:33.740 This guy driving me crazy.
00:41:35.040 I want to pull my hair out.
00:41:35.960 I hate this guy.
00:41:37.360 Everyone,
00:41:38.100 everyone is sick of Joe Biden.
00:41:39.780 Everybody.
00:41:41.220 Your uncle,
00:41:42.980 your co-workers,
00:41:45.020 the Republicans,
00:41:45.820 the independents,
00:41:46.540 even the big libs on MSNBC.
00:41:48.580 The guy is in trouble.
00:41:50.980 He's begging Taylor Swift to campaign with him.
00:41:54.300 Bad shape.
00:41:55.900 That's very good news for Donald Trump,
00:41:57.260 especially because Donald Trump,
00:41:59.760 Donald Trump remade the GOP in a lot of different ways.
00:42:03.820 And he didn't,
00:42:05.200 you know,
00:42:05.920 make a hard break from history,
00:42:08.180 a total destruction of the GOP,
00:42:10.080 as all the squishes and the never-Trumpers want to say.
00:42:12.940 Actually,
00:42:13.620 what Donald Trump did,
00:42:14.640 in as much as he changed,
00:42:15.560 the GOP,
00:42:16.380 was to restore it
00:42:17.920 to what it had always been.
00:42:21.280 The GOP,
00:42:22.280 for most of its history,
00:42:24.080 was skeptical of foreign intervention,
00:42:26.460 was cautious
00:42:27.760 in the use of military force abroad.
00:42:31.020 That changed a little bit
00:42:32.220 with the neocons
00:42:33.120 toward the end of the 20th century
00:42:34.400 and the early 21st,
00:42:35.900 but most of the time
00:42:37.080 was pretty restrained,
00:42:38.040 up to and including Ronald Reagan,
00:42:39.760 saying,
00:42:40.260 no thanks,
00:42:40.800 we don't need to be in Lebanon.
00:42:43.920 On tariffs,
00:42:45.040 the GOP was founded on tariffs.
00:42:46.300 It was a protectionist party
00:42:47.400 for most of its history.
00:42:49.040 Even when the free traders
00:42:50.120 took over at the end of the 20th century,
00:42:51.720 you still had massive steel tariffs
00:42:53.420 coming up under Ronald Reagan.
00:42:55.340 You still had George W. Bush
00:42:57.400 raising tariffs.
00:42:58.280 And then,
00:42:59.340 obviously,
00:42:59.980 Trump makes it a big deal.
00:43:01.880 On immigration,
00:43:02.960 GOP had always been a restrictionist
00:43:04.220 until the squishes
00:43:05.460 got controlled at the end
00:43:06.380 and they said,
00:43:06.780 oh, we need unlimited migration.
00:43:08.860 It's just got to be legal
00:43:10.000 and we can give amnesty
00:43:11.500 to all these illegals.
00:43:12.900 So Trump restored it.
00:43:15.340 The war part is really big, though.
00:43:17.580 The GOP,
00:43:18.700 the conservatives,
00:43:19.540 were more restrained
00:43:21.240 in their foreign policy.
00:43:22.440 And that's the popular position right now.
00:43:24.240 They told me,
00:43:26.920 if I voted for Trump in 2020,
00:43:28.680 we would get another war
00:43:29.980 in the Middle East.
00:43:31.480 And they were exactly right.
00:43:33.280 I voted for Trump in 2020,
00:43:35.080 we got another war
00:43:36.000 in the Middle East.
00:43:37.920 This is a huge winning issue
00:43:40.000 for Trump right now.
00:43:42.020 Sorry,
00:43:42.540 for the Republicans
00:43:43.160 and the presumptive Republican nominee
00:43:44.420 who's obviously Donald Trump.
00:43:46.540 Major, major losing issue
00:43:49.200 for Joe Biden.
00:43:50.660 Don't believe me?
00:43:51.320 Take it from the horse's mouth.
00:43:52.380 That horse being Joy Reid
00:43:54.580 on MSNBC.
00:43:56.240 Now, turning to even less
00:43:57.660 articulate
00:43:58.880 left-wing spokes ladies.
00:44:01.960 Corinne Jean-Pierre
00:44:02.580 over at the White House
00:44:03.560 was just asked about
00:44:05.580 a very inconvenience,
00:44:07.700 the conflict,
00:44:09.060 in the way that Joe Biden
00:44:10.360 has talked about the border.
00:44:11.520 You see,
00:44:11.980 because when talking about
00:44:13.420 how Donald Trump
00:44:14.000 dealt with the border,
00:44:15.220 Corinne Jean-Pierre
00:44:16.880 and the White House
00:44:17.840 and Joe Biden
00:44:18.600 said that it was
00:44:19.660 very, very racist.
00:44:21.140 if you ever want
00:44:22.660 to shut down the border
00:44:23.380 at all,
00:44:24.240 very, very racist.
00:44:26.560 But then,
00:44:27.600 when Joe Biden
00:44:28.280 starts to talk about
00:44:29.100 potentially shutting down
00:44:30.040 the border,
00:44:30.880 that is different
00:44:32.520 somehow.
00:44:34.720 Back in the winter of 2018
00:44:36.720 and the spring of 2019,
00:44:39.300 President Trump
00:44:40.060 vowed to shut down
00:44:41.300 the border with Mexico
00:44:42.900 using almost the identical language
00:44:45.760 that the president
00:44:46.520 used on Friday.
00:44:47.880 many,
00:44:49.360 many,
00:44:49.860 if not most,
00:44:50.600 if not practically all,
00:44:51.860 Democrats
00:44:52.340 called that xenophobic
00:44:53.860 and even racist.
00:44:55.520 Why shouldn't people
00:44:57.780 make the same conclusion
00:45:00.420 about this president's threat
00:45:03.160 to shut down
00:45:04.140 the entire border
00:45:04.840 with Mexico?
00:45:05.300 So we believe
00:45:06.060 the new enforcement tools
00:45:07.420 that currently don't exist,
00:45:09.700 that will be,
00:45:10.440 we believe that will be part
00:45:11.900 of this bipartisan agreement,
00:45:14.240 will be fair.
00:45:15.600 We believe it'll be,
00:45:16.320 yes, it'll be tough,
00:45:17.180 but it will be fair.
00:45:18.080 There are different definitions,
00:45:19.200 right,
00:45:19.440 of what that looks like,
00:45:20.680 of what actually
00:45:21.760 shutting down
00:45:23.120 the border looks like,
00:45:24.240 right?
00:45:24.480 So we're going to let
00:45:25.320 them work through it.
00:45:26.640 We don't know
00:45:27.220 what that looks like
00:45:27.980 exactly, right?
00:45:28.940 What we are asking for,
00:45:30.200 what the president wants to see,
00:45:31.580 is that we deal with
00:45:32.780 the challenges
00:45:33.320 at the border.
00:45:35.240 There are not
00:45:36.240 different definitions
00:45:37.200 of shutting down
00:45:37.920 the border.
00:45:40.360 Shutting
00:45:40.800 has a clear meaning
00:45:42.000 down
00:45:43.360 the
00:45:44.160 border.
00:45:45.060 Those are all
00:45:45.580 pretty clear concepts.
00:45:48.480 But she knows
00:45:49.000 there's no,
00:45:49.440 here,
00:45:50.140 I'll give you the answer.
00:45:51.960 How is it
00:45:52.700 that when
00:45:54.320 Trump does
00:45:55.440 something,
00:45:56.940 it's racist,
00:45:58.160 but when Biden
00:45:58.820 does the exact same thing,
00:46:00.120 it's not racist?
00:46:01.680 Because
00:46:02.200 Trump is Trump
00:46:04.480 and Biden is Biden.
00:46:06.320 That's how,
00:46:06.920 that's their answer.
00:46:07.740 I'm not being glib.
00:46:09.060 That's it.
00:46:09.740 That's their real answer.
00:46:11.140 You know how black people
00:46:12.200 can't be racist?
00:46:15.060 That's what they say.
00:46:16.280 They can,
00:46:17.000 obviously,
00:46:17.400 but they say
00:46:18.700 black people
00:46:19.240 can't be racist
00:46:20.000 because racism
00:46:21.320 is when white people
00:46:22.460 do bad things
00:46:23.260 or do a thing
00:46:25.800 that we just
00:46:26.320 disapprove of
00:46:27.000 in any way
00:46:27.480 or really do
00:46:28.440 anything at all.
00:46:29.020 That's racism.
00:46:30.680 In the definition,
00:46:32.900 they say
00:46:33.520 racism is when
00:46:35.180 white person
00:46:35.880 does such and such
00:46:36.720 to black person.
00:46:37.520 Well,
00:46:37.700 the same thing
00:46:38.300 is true here
00:46:38.800 for Democrats
00:46:39.500 and Republicans.
00:46:40.040 In the definition,
00:46:43.140 Democrats can't be racist
00:46:44.560 and Republicans
00:46:45.660 are racist.
00:46:46.960 So,
00:46:47.400 what's the solution
00:46:48.280 to this?
00:46:49.680 Some Republicans
00:46:50.440 want to try to flip it
00:46:51.940 on the Democrats
00:46:52.600 and say,
00:46:52.940 no,
00:46:53.060 you're the real racists.
00:46:54.240 You know,
00:46:54.500 you actually,
00:46:55.160 when you really think about it,
00:46:55.860 you're the real racists.
00:46:56.920 I don't think that really works.
00:46:58.400 I don't think the term
00:46:58.980 means much of anything at all.
00:47:00.320 I'm not sure that it ever
00:47:01.040 did mean much of anything at all.
00:47:04.280 What,
00:47:04.560 if now racism
00:47:06.080 means you
00:47:07.380 think that white people
00:47:09.460 are entitled
00:47:10.020 to any rights
00:47:11.020 or respect
00:47:11.980 in society,
00:47:12.980 which is,
00:47:13.420 I think,
00:47:13.700 what the Democrats
00:47:14.820 mean by it,
00:47:15.520 then just forget about it.
00:47:17.000 Or if it means that you,
00:47:18.220 I don't know,
00:47:18.680 you recognize
00:47:19.860 that there are different races,
00:47:21.340 I think that's what
00:47:22.320 they also mean,
00:47:23.180 at least when white people do it.
00:47:24.660 So,
00:47:25.020 whatever it is,
00:47:25.900 we should forget about that.
00:47:28.000 Okay,
00:47:28.680 we oppose
00:47:29.400 injustice,
00:47:31.000 we oppose
00:47:31.600 cruelty,
00:47:32.880 we think that
00:47:34.220 things ought to be fair,
00:47:35.080 so we support all those,
00:47:36.600 but
00:47:36.740 you'll never win
00:47:39.240 with racists.
00:47:41.000 You'll never win
00:47:42.220 using the Democrats' words.
00:47:43.900 You'll never win
00:47:44.640 using their framing.
00:47:46.360 You gotta give people
00:47:47.320 a new framing
00:47:47.940 to see the world
00:47:48.860 in a new and more accurate way.
00:47:50.960 That's how you win people over.
00:47:52.020 You make that normal.
00:47:53.460 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:47:54.040 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:47:54.960 See you tomorrow.

00:48:14.580 He can't wait for you.
00:48:15.460 He died sincima cause
00:48:16.100 ения
