Ep. 1543 - Is Kamala A DEI Hire?

Summary

Trump gets grilled on whether or not he thinks Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was a hire by President Joe Biden on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and why he thinks she should not have been chosen as his running mate.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 President Trump spoke yesterday at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention,
00:00:04.620 where he was grilled by some lady on whether or not he believed that Kamala Harris is a DEI hire.
00:00:12.460 Some of your own supporters, including Republicans on Capitol Hill, have labeled
00:00:16.940 Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the first black and Asian American woman to serve as vice
00:00:21.800 president and be on a major party ticket as a DEI hire. Is that acceptable language to you?
00:00:27.820 And will you tell those Republicans and those supporters to stop it?
00:00:31.820 How do you define DEI? Go ahead. How do you define it?
00:00:35.500 Diversity, equity, inclusion.
00:00:37.000 Okay, yeah. Go ahead. Is that what your definition?
00:00:39.380 That is literally the words.
00:00:41.440 Give me a definition then. Would you give me a definition of that?
00:00:43.520 Give me a definition.
00:00:44.520 Sir, I'm asking you a question, a very direct question.
00:00:46.740 No, no, you have to define it. Define it for me, if you would.
00:00:48.660 I just defined it, sir. Do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is only on the ticket because she is a black woman?
00:00:54.020 Well, I can say no.
00:00:54.920 Before we get to Trump's hilarious answer, I just want to read a few headlines from the days and weeks before Kamala was selected to be Biden's running mate.
00:01:05.940 The question, you recall, do you think Kamala was only on the ticket because she's a black woman?
00:01:12.060 Washington Post, more than 200 women signed letter urging Biden to pick a black woman as his running mate.
00:01:17.400 This is from USA Today. Black male leaders say Biden will lose election if he doesn't choose black woman as VP.
00:01:23.680 New York Times. Black leaders want a black woman as Biden's running mate.
00:01:27.580 But who?
00:01:29.320 Vox.com.
00:01:30.360 The push for Joe Biden to choose a black woman as his running mate explained.
00:01:33.860 AP, Biden pressed to choose a black woman as his running mate.
00:01:37.200 Notice, it doesn't say push to pick Kamala Harris.
00:01:39.960 It's just push to pick a black woman.
00:01:41.920 That's it. We got to have a black woman.
00:01:43.980 That's all that matters.
00:01:46.060 Was Kamala Harris selected because she's a black woman?
00:01:50.140 I don't know, man.
00:01:51.480 I'm just reading your headlines.
00:01:53.340 Was Kamala Harris a DEI hire?
00:01:55.280 Before we get to Trump's aforementioned hilarious answer, I want to present to you, President Joe Biden, his answer on whether Kamala was a DEI hire.
00:02:05.380 To me, the values of diversity, equality, inclusion are literally, and that's not kidding, the core strengths of America.
00:02:14.420 That's why I'm proud to have the most diverse administration history that taps into the full talents of our country and starts at the top with the vice president.
00:02:23.740 According to President Biden, Kamala was selected to advance DEI in those exact terms.
00:02:30.920 According to the entire liberal media, Kamala was selected because she's black and a woman.
00:02:37.400 Those are their words, not mine.
00:02:38.900 But that was then.
00:02:40.220 This is now.
00:02:41.240 And now that it's no longer politically helpful, the establishment media are going to deny, rewrite, and lie about that and every other part of Kamala's record.
00:02:53.080 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:02:53.780 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:03:00.920 Parents are throwing cheese on their kids' heads in the latest viral trend.
00:03:18.500 I have very strong thoughts about this viral trend.
00:03:22.740 We'll get to that in a moment.
00:03:23.560 First, though, folks, forget about the election.
00:03:28.700 Forget about the Olympics.
00:03:29.720 Forget about the men crushing women's skulls in the U.S. Olympics or in the Olympics broadly, sanctioned by the U.S.
00:03:37.960 We got important news.
00:03:41.060 We got the Mayflower portable humidor.

00:03:54.500 It's finally here.

00:03:58.440 Very subtle design here.

00:04:08.220 Good cushion in here, good foam.
00:04:09.720 So you toss this in your briefcase, your backpack, your suitcase, your wherever, and you will be ready to protect your delicious Mayflower cigars.
00:04:18.480 They are going to sell out.
00:04:19.880 We don't have a ton.
00:04:20.740 They've got this cool little band on here that's unusual on these things.
00:04:23.280 It's really helpful.
00:04:24.660 Go get it right now.
00:04:25.820 We sold a lot of them yesterday.
00:04:27.920 There's still going to be some today.
00:04:29.640 I can't really guarantee that there will be many in stock after that.

00:04:52.120 Okay.
00:04:53.580 President Trump is leaning into the DEI criticism.
00:04:59.540 He's leaning into the left's arguments from identity politics.
00:05:04.400 Here is Trump's answer to the lady from the Black Journalist Association.
00:05:09.900 Do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is only on the ticket because she is a black woman?
00:05:15.000 Well, I can say no.
00:05:15.960 I think it's maybe a little bit different.
00:05:18.160 So I've known her a long time indirectly, not directly very much.
00:05:23.560 And she was always of Indian heritage.
00:05:26.940 And she was only promoting Indian heritage.
00:05:29.960 I didn't know she was black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black.
00:05:34.840 And now she wants to be known as black.
00:05:36.680 So I don't know.
00:05:37.580 Is she Indian or is she black?
00:05:39.080 She is always identified as a black woman.
00:05:40.740 She went to a historically black college.
00:05:42.560 I respect either one.
00:05:43.740 But she obviously doesn't.
00:05:45.460 Because she was Indian all the way.
00:05:47.300 And then all of a sudden she made a turn.
00:05:49.080 And she went, she became a black person.
00:05:51.660 Just to be clear, sir, do you believe that she is a...
00:05:53.780 I think somebody should look into that, too, when you ask, continue in a very hostile, nasty town.
00:05:58.880 It's a direct question, sir.
00:06:00.200 Do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is a DEI hire, as some Republicans have said?
00:06:05.080 I mean, I really don't know.
00:06:06.080 Could be.
00:06:06.980 Could be.
00:06:07.480 Biden says she is.
00:06:08.600 You guys said she is.
00:06:09.640 But, you know, could be.
00:06:10.580 I don't know.
00:06:10.760 All I know is she used to be Indian, now she's black.
00:06:12.740 Where'd that come from?
00:06:13.600 So many conservatives are clutching their pearls over this answer from Trump.
00:06:19.340 And Trump's leaning into it even more.
00:06:20.880 He had a rally later in Pennsylvania.
00:06:22.640 Think about the courage.
00:06:24.560 You're just almost murdered at a rally in Pennsylvania.
00:06:27.420 You go back weeks later.
00:06:29.140 Say, yeah, whatever.
00:06:29.700 You're not keeping me down.
00:06:30.480 He leans into this during the rally.
00:06:33.640 He posts a headline from Business Insider.
00:06:35.860 California's Kamala Harris becomes first Indian-American U.S. senator.
00:06:39.340 So he's leaning into this issue that seems kind of trivial.
00:06:41.800 Who cares?
00:06:42.280 Kamala Harris is biracial.
00:06:44.320 Her mom is Indian.
00:06:46.300 Her dad is Jamaican.
00:06:48.280 So not African-American.
00:06:50.180 She doesn't have any African-American ancestry.
00:06:52.340 There's nothing tying her to the specific legacy of slavery in America.
00:06:58.360 It's Indian and Jamaican.
00:06:59.400 But okay, for the left, that's sufficient.
00:07:02.040 She's sufficiently swarthy that qualifies.
00:07:05.480 Why is Trump leaning into this?
00:07:07.020 So many really fancy conservatives are clutching their pearls saying,
00:07:10.440 this is a terrible line of attack.
00:07:12.040 This is awful.
00:07:12.840 I don't think so.
00:07:14.240 I don't think this should be the front of Trump's campaign.
00:07:16.860 I think he can talk about other things like her failure on immigration.
00:07:19.800 She was in charge of the border problem.
00:07:22.340 He can talk about the economy.
00:07:24.260 He can talk about all the big issues that really matter.
00:07:26.900 But I have no problem with this line of attack as a little cherry on top of the campaign Sunday.
00:07:33.560 And if you listen to the people in that room, not the very hostile interviewer,
00:07:38.040 but just the audience members, they were getting a kick out of Trump's answer.
00:07:42.600 You hear them laughing at Trump's answer.
00:07:44.720 Trump is a charming guy, and he's a great showman,
00:07:47.540 and people were kind of getting a kick out of it.
00:07:49.920 The way you know that this was overall a net positive for Trump is that the leaders of the Black Journalist Association are losing their minds over this.
00:07:58.660 They're saying we shouldn't have invited him.
00:08:00.180 This was a mistake.
00:08:01.000 You look all over social media.
00:08:02.720 They are regretting their decision to invite him.
00:08:05.040 Why?
00:08:05.260 Are they regretting their decision to invite him because Trump hurt his campaign?
00:08:08.920 No.
00:08:09.280 The only reason they would regret their decision to invite him is because Trump maybe helped himself a little bit.
00:08:16.260 He was kind of charming.
00:08:17.460 He was kind of human.
00:08:19.100 The other reason why this line of attack, not as the main plank of a campaign,
00:08:23.320 but as just a little spice, a little seasoning on top,
00:08:27.020 the reason that it's effective is, first of all, it's kind of funny.
00:08:31.300 Just loosen up a little bit, guys.
00:08:34.000 We don't have to all be humorless scolds.
00:08:36.040 It's a funny bit.
00:08:37.660 It is true that Kamala, for the first part of her political career,
00:08:41.440 positioned herself as the first Indian American because that was historic.
00:08:45.080 It wasn't historic to be the first Black senator.
00:08:47.020 She's not the first Black senator.
00:08:48.260 But she could say I'm the first Indian American woman senator.
00:08:51.000 So she leaned into that, the historic firsts of the left's identity politics.
00:08:56.240 And then when it suited her after the Senate,
00:08:58.320 when she wanted to be on Joe Biden's vice presidential ticket,
00:09:00.800 all of a sudden she was identifying as Black.
00:09:04.000 That was her.
00:09:04.500 And now she's putting on fake African-American vernacular accents,
00:09:09.820 which she's never had.
00:09:11.080 It appears nowhere in her household, in her upbringing, in her culture at all.
00:09:14.660 So the reason that I think this line of attack is effective
00:09:17.580 is it highlights Kamala's biggest vulnerability,
00:09:21.500 which is that she's fake.
00:09:22.780 She's a total fake.
00:09:24.240 She doesn't believe anything.
00:09:26.140 She doesn't...
00:09:27.140 Do you remember she went on The Breakfast Club,
00:09:29.840 a black radio show,
00:09:31.460 and she talked about how she loved listening to Snoop Dogg in college.
00:09:35.200 Oh, yeah, she'd love lighting up the devil's lettuce and listening to Snoop.
00:09:38.860 Snoop didn't debut his first album until after Kamala Harris was in college.
00:09:43.060 So she just made that up.
00:09:44.480 It's total fake news.
00:09:45.560 She did it.
00:09:46.220 She just said that because she thought that would appeal
00:09:48.240 to the predominantly Black audience of The Breakfast Club.
00:09:50.920 But she just made it up.
00:09:53.540 Kamala Harris doesn't really talk with a Southern jive accent, okay?
00:09:57.100 She just made that up yesterday or two days ago to appeal to an audience.
00:10:03.620 Is Kamala Harris too tough on crime or is Kamala Harris too weak on crime?
00:10:07.300 Does she want to bail out the rioters in Minnesota during the George Floyd riots?
00:10:10.900 Yes.
00:10:11.500 Does she want to prosecute people when she's the Attorney General of California?
00:10:15.120 Yes.
00:10:15.440 She just doesn't, she just is whatever she thinks is going to get her elected and amass
00:10:20.520 her more power.
00:10:21.180 So Trump, whatever you think about Trump, Trump kind of is who he is, right?
00:10:25.000 Trump's the same guy in front of the Black Journalist Association as he is in front of
00:10:29.680 the NRA, as he is in front of CPAC, as he is in front of any other group, as he is at
00:10:34.660 the Bitcoin convention.
00:10:35.680 He's just that guy.
00:10:36.740 So it emphasizes the strength of Trump, something that's attractive about Trump, that is very
00:10:42.700 unattractive about Kamala.
00:10:45.260 And don't forget, not that Trump, there are differences here, so he's got to focus on more
00:10:50.560 important things.
00:10:51.240 But as a little seasoning on the campaign, this is the issue that destroyed Elizabeth Warren's
00:10:55.920 career.
00:10:56.200 Her fakeness over her ancestry is what destroyed her career.
00:11:02.840 Now, you could say, well, Kamala actually is part Black.
00:11:05.020 Yeah, kind of.
00:11:05.960 She's not at all African American, though.
00:11:08.380 And unless you think that all Black people on planet Earth are exactly the same, and they
00:11:11.780 have the exact same culture, and they, unless you think, I don't think that.
00:11:14.520 But, you know, you think that someone living in Nigeria has the same cultural milieu as someone
00:11:21.120 growing up in Oakland.
00:11:23.660 Then you can point out, yeah, she's a fake.
00:11:25.600 She's pretending that she's African American.
00:11:27.620 She comes from the African American experience.
00:11:29.140 She doesn't have any of that.
00:11:30.240 Doesn't have any of that at all.
00:11:33.240 The only issue that I think she actually has been consistent on is she is radically in
00:11:38.560 favor of infanticide through abortion.
00:11:40.460 So the one issue that she's consistent on is one of the most horrifying and ghastly.
00:11:45.580 Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed beef sold in U.S. grocery stores is imported?
00:11:50.440 That's why I buy all my meat from GoodRanchers.com instead.

00:12:23.120 The libs are in overdrive lying about Kamala.
00:12:28.200 I got to give a hat tip to end wokeness for pointing this little treat out.
00:12:32.560 Kamala Harris, according to PolitiFact, there is this nasty Republican charge that Kamala
00:12:45.220 Harris backed taxpayer-funded health care for immigrants.
00:12:50.020 And this, according to PolitiFact, is mostly false.
00:12:56.280 This guy, if this were a Washington Post fact check, it'd have multiple Pinocchios.
00:13:00.140 This is a lie.
00:13:00.880 It's false.
00:13:02.240 Where would Republicans come up with this crazy notion that Kamala Harris endorsed free taxpayer-funded
00:13:08.860 government health care for all illegal aliens?
00:13:11.760 Jake Tapper?
00:13:12.240 The bill also says, quote, every individual who is a resident of the United States is entitled
00:13:17.980 to benefits for health care services under this act.
00:13:20.420 Not every individual who's a citizen, but every individual who's a resident.
00:13:23.980 So you support giving universal health care, Medicare for all, to people who are in this
00:13:29.020 country illegally?
00:13:30.180 Let me just be very clear about this.
00:13:32.640 I am opposed to any policy that would deny in our country any human being from access to
00:13:40.180 public safety, public education, or public health, period.
00:13:45.060 Period.
00:13:45.740 And she was perfectly clear.
00:13:47.220 She is perfectly clear that she supports government-funded universal health care for illegal
00:13:53.220 aliens.
00:13:54.540 Period.
00:13:56.020 Let me be perfectly clear.
00:13:58.200 Good on Jake Tapper for asking the question.
00:13:59.780 And it is also perfectly clear that PolitiFact is completely lying about it, as PolitiFact lies
00:14:06.440 about a lot of things.
00:14:07.280 PolitiFact, one of these left-wing opinion outlets, one of these left-wing activist organizations
00:14:12.220 that masquerades, even more deceptively than many other left-wing organizations, masquerades
00:14:17.380 as an objective, political, neutral fact checker.
00:14:23.880 It's just the facts.
00:14:25.580 But the fact is pretty clear there.
00:14:27.920 I'm hearing it in Kamala's own words.
00:14:30.460 The liberal establishment news says, don't believe your lying eyes, don't believe your lying
00:14:34.440 ears, and of course, these are the people who are telling us that Trump wasn't really
00:14:38.420 shot two weeks ago.
00:14:40.500 No, no, forget about that.
00:14:42.460 No, no, he wasn't.
00:14:43.800 We don't even know if it was a bullet.
00:14:45.280 Now, the FBI said there was never any question that it was a bullet.
00:14:47.320 Yeah, no, there's no, you didn't see that bullet.
00:14:50.880 Trump wasn't really shot.
00:14:52.940 Men can really be women.
00:14:54.780 Babies aren't really babies.
00:14:56.160 Kamala Harris didn't say that thing you just heard her say.
00:14:58.180 They are going to lie through their teeth.
00:15:01.340 They will lie about anything.
00:15:03.860 And we need to take that seriously because they have a lot of power.
00:15:10.080 The establishment news media have done a pretty good job of memory-holing the hair's-breadth
00:15:17.360 away assassination of Donald Trump two and a half weeks ago.
00:15:21.640 You talk to people on the street and say, hey, remember that time Trump almost got his
00:15:24.380 head blown off after the libs had been calling him Hitler and an existential threat to democracy
00:15:28.820 for eight years?
00:15:29.320 Remember that?
00:15:30.560 And there were all those kind of bizarre security lapses.
00:15:32.840 And then the FBI and the Secret Service covered it up and lied about it.
00:15:35.860 In the case of the FBI, perhaps multiple times.
00:15:37.660 And people, I think many people will say, huh?
00:15:40.260 Oh, yeah, right.
00:15:41.240 Wow, that feels like such a long time ago.
00:15:43.300 It feels like such a long time ago because the news has memory-holded.
00:15:48.140 Hey, you guys know Kamala Harris is the most left-wing senator.
00:15:50.660 When she was in the Senate, she was to the left of Bernie Sanders.
00:15:52.620 No, that's not.
00:15:53.200 That can't be true.
00:15:54.380 That can't be true.
00:15:56.500 You know, Kamala Harris supports government-funded taxpayer-subsidized
00:16:00.540 health care for illegal aliens.
00:16:03.000 No, no, no, that can't be true.
00:16:04.280 Hey, you know Kamala Harris raised money to bail out violent rioters in Minnesota
00:16:08.000 after the George Floyd riots.
00:16:10.360 And then the organization that she raised the money for, you know,
00:16:13.000 went on to bail out really violent criminals who committed all sorts of other crimes.
00:16:16.180 No, that didn't happen.
00:16:16.960 It can't have happened.
00:16:19.600 It can't have happened because the media lied to me and told me that didn't happen.
00:16:23.120 There are going to be a lot of people who are persuaded by that.
00:16:26.640 Don't forget, after the media lied in collusion with the government, with the FBI, and with
00:16:30.380 big tech platforms, when the government lied about the Hunter Biden laptop, which exposed
00:16:33.720 the Biden family's crimes, and the federal government now admits that it exposed the
00:16:37.840 Biden family's crimes.
00:16:38.660 But at the time, the government said, no, this is Russian disinformation.
00:16:41.320 Big tech, shut it down.
00:16:42.340 And you couldn't even privately message it on some apps.
00:16:44.600 After that election, 12% of Biden voters came out and said, if they knew about the
00:16:48.640 Hunter Biden laptop story, they wouldn't have voted for Biden.
00:16:50.940 That obviously would have thrown the election.
00:16:53.920 12% said that.
00:16:55.480 And the media lied.
00:16:57.860 And, but they had the power to do what they wanted.
00:17:00.660 And the media still have a lot of power.
00:17:03.440 So now, now they're lying about this DEI thing.
00:17:06.940 How dare you suggest Kamala is a DEI hire?
00:17:08.920 Joe Biden said she was a DEI hire in those terms.
00:17:11.900 And Joe Biden used that, basically that exact phrase.
00:17:14.960 He did refer specifically to DEI and said, Kamala Harris is the great exemplar of this.
00:17:22.060 But that was back when DEI was popular.
00:17:24.160 In the intervening three years, DEI has become extraordinarily unpopular.
00:17:27.700 And there have been laws passed against DEI.
00:17:30.440 So now they got to run, they got to run away from DEI.
00:17:33.580 This is what Michael Anton at Claremont calls the celebration parallax.
00:17:36.860 If you say Kamala Harris is a DEI hire, and that's great, then you're, you're okay.
00:17:41.540 If you say Kamala Harris is a DEI hire, and that's bad, that, well, then now it's false.
00:17:45.960 Now it's suddenly that fact has become false.
00:17:48.860 So DEI is on the way, way out.
00:17:51.240 We've got some really great news.
00:17:53.540 Auburn University has just announced that it will dissolve.
00:17:57.420 It's Office of Inclusion and Diversity by August 15th.
00:18:02.980 So coming up, you know, we've got a couple weeks now.
00:18:06.300 Why is Auburn dissolving the DEI office?
00:18:09.960 Because Governor Kay Ivey banned DEI programs and certain DEI lessons.
00:18:17.200 And colleges have until October 1st to comply with the law.
00:18:19.820 So this is good.
00:18:21.820 In part, the move against DEI was motivated by changing public opinion.
00:18:25.580 But now it's being put into effect by the government.
00:18:31.600 And that will further transform public opinion to make this seem totally unacceptable.
00:18:36.260 This would be an example, you might say, of culture being downstream of politics.
00:18:43.120 This would be an example of not a liberal or libertarian political idea, the notion that, you know, politics is always downstream of culture, as if you could neatly separate those two.
00:18:53.440 But a more classical political idea, which is that the law is a teacher.
00:18:56.940 And the law, people generally sort of follow the law.
00:19:00.060 And that transforms people's behaviors and transforms people's desires and transforms people's understanding of how the law works.
00:19:06.260 This is great.
00:19:06.840 I want to see more governors do this.
00:19:08.200 This is a proper way to lead, to govern, and to wield the law to give us a better country.
00:19:15.040 Now, speaking of educating young people, there's a new viral trend.
00:19:19.640 Parents are throwing cheese on their kids' heads.
00:19:22.660 The kids are crying.
00:19:23.640 They throw a slice of cheese.
00:19:24.900 And then the kid stops crying.
00:19:25.980 And then the kids get confused.
00:19:30.400 Oh, there's a little slice of cheese.
00:19:32.060 Uh-huh.
00:19:32.720 Oh.
00:19:33.940 Okay, the kid stopped.
00:19:38.700 Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
00:19:40.100 Oh, there we go.
00:19:40.700 That one landed on his eyes.
00:19:41.720 Ha-ha-ha.
00:19:43.100 All right, that's enough.
00:19:44.940 I hate this.
00:19:49.000 I hate this.
00:19:53.020 Parents should not be using your child.
00:19:55.980 Should not be using their children as a punchline.
00:19:59.060 Your kid's not a punchline.
00:20:00.160 Your kid is your kid.
00:20:01.300 Flesh of your flesh.
00:20:03.580 Your kid is a proper subject.
00:20:06.920 Your kid, you should be on your kid's side.
00:20:11.140 You should not be humiliating your kid for the dopamine rush that you will experience thanks to the likes of strangers on the internet.
00:20:22.380 You shouldn't be recording your kid for the entertainment of strangers on the internet.
00:20:27.560 If you're doing this, you're being a terrible parent.
00:20:30.840 And you need to stop.
00:20:32.840 I understand people get sucked into social media.
00:20:35.980 And this is a sort of trend that people follow.
00:20:41.740 Just stop.
00:20:42.820 Just stop.
00:20:43.500 This is really bad.
00:20:45.340 Your kid is not...
00:20:46.020 There was a trend, this was maybe a few months ago, maybe more, of parents cracking eggs on their kid's head.
00:20:52.060 Your kid is not an object for you to mock and to give you applause from your friends or from strangers.
00:21:04.060 Your kid is a subject.
00:21:05.520 Be on your kid's side.
00:21:06.480 What absolutely horrible parenting, the kind of thing that is especially accentuated in our social media age, that the likes of strangers are not worth humiliating your child, you narcissistic psychos.

00:22:49.500 I don't think women should be boxing.
00:22:53.440 Call me a fuddy-duddy, a regressive, reactionary.
00:22:58.900 I think it's wrong to watch women get their skulls cracked in and get punched in the face.
00:23:05.780 I think that's wrong.
00:23:07.360 Even when it's just two women doing it to each other, I think that's kind of not great.
00:23:12.960 And I know there's going to be a huge, Michael, you've gone too far.
00:23:16.040 You're such an extremist.
00:23:18.760 What, you probably want to take us back to the 10th century, you troglodyte, you knuckle-dragger.
00:23:26.500 The view that I just articulated that is going to be maligned as extreme, far right,
00:23:35.240 is the view held by everyone until about 25 years ago.
00:23:39.200 When did women's Olympic boxing begin?
00:23:43.400 2012.
00:23:44.160 That's the great long history and tradition of women's Olympics boxing.
00:23:50.620 It's about a dozen years.
00:23:53.660 What about women's boxing in general?
00:23:56.680 Women's boxing was banned pretty much everywhere, pretty much without exception, a handful of
00:24:04.140 exceptions here or there, until 1998, 1999, 2000.
00:24:09.500 In 1998, the United Kingdom issued a license for women's boxing matches, just between women.
00:24:21.900 And even then, it was rare in 1998, 1999.
00:24:25.740 Until then, they just didn't issue licenses.
00:24:27.140 The Olympics wouldn't let women box until very recently.
00:24:32.200 So if you are a conservative, if you call you, and there are a lot of people like this that say,
00:24:37.820 look, I'm a conservative, but I'm not one of those extremists, those misogynists who think women
00:24:43.000 shouldn't box.
00:24:43.780 Well, you know, you're a radical liberal by the standards of 2012.
00:24:47.920 Take the Olympics out of it, even just women boxing generally.
00:24:53.780 If you say, look, I'm a conservative, but I'm not one of these crazy extremists.
00:24:57.340 You know, there's misogynists who think it's wrong to watch women get punched in the face.
00:25:02.200 I'm not one of those guys.
00:25:03.500 You know, I'm a conservative.
00:25:04.220 But you're a radical liberal anywhere in the world by the standards of 1998.
00:25:11.600 Doesn't sound like you're much of a conservative at all.
00:25:14.600 Or rather, it doesn't sound like conservatives have conserved anything, including, we joke,
00:25:21.800 the women's bathroom.
00:25:23.900 There are many people who say, I'm a conservative, but, you know, I'm not one of those extremists
00:25:27.740 who think we should, you know, deny same-sex marriage.
00:25:30.800 Oh, so you're a radical leftist by the standards of 2015.
00:25:37.400 I'm a, look, come on.
00:25:40.220 I'm a conservative, but I'm not one of those extremists who thinks that women shouldn't
00:25:46.020 serve in military combat.
00:25:47.460 Oh, you're a radical leftist by the standards also of 2015.
00:25:51.780 I think people fail to appreciate how radically to the left and how suddenly radically to the
00:25:59.160 left our culture has moved in just the last couple decades or so.
00:26:02.480 Now, Transheiser Bush still getting destroyed after its dalliance with transgenderism through
00:26:08.900 the Dylan Mulvaney partnership.
00:26:12.340 You remember, it was a while ago now that Bud Light became a punchline because it partnered
00:26:19.380 up with Dylan Mulvaney, this man who mocks women and pretends to be a woman, and sales
00:26:25.180 cratered.
00:26:25.720 And you knew things were bad for Transheiser Bush because Bud Light became this punchline.
00:26:32.380 I was at my cousin's wedding, and one of my cousins comes up to me, and he says, he
00:26:37.560 said, hey, Michael, you want me to get you a drink?
00:26:39.160 I said, yeah, sure, I'd get a drink, you know.
00:26:40.960 And I should have realized he had a little twinkle in his eye.
00:26:43.420 And of course, he comes back.
00:26:44.560 He's got a glass of scotch or something for himself, and he hands me a Bud Light, and everybody
00:26:48.420 laughs.
00:26:48.900 Ha, ha, ha.
00:26:49.400 Because the implication is, if you're, you know, if you're drinking Bud Light now, you're
00:26:55.360 probably a friend of Dorothy, okay?
00:26:56.880 You know, you're maybe a little bit light in the loafers, you know?
00:27:00.680 So things were cratering for them.
00:27:03.000 Well, they continue to decline for four straight quarters.
00:27:06.080 Sales in North America, which generate a quarter of the roughly 60 bill in total revenue for
00:27:12.240 Transheiser Bush, it has declined now steadily.
00:27:15.800 Analysts expect revenue to decrease 1.5% to $3.89 billion.
00:27:23.080 The company's stock has fallen 6% this year.
00:27:25.480 That lowers the market value to about 120 bill, 40% below its high in 2019.
00:27:34.540 Transheiser Bush now, it's not just that they're losing money.
00:27:36.900 They're also spending an insane amount of money to resuscitate Bud Light.
00:27:40.080 They've spent millions of dollars in marketing.
00:27:42.960 They've tried to buy off cultural figures.
00:27:45.460 They've done TV ads.
00:27:47.040 They put Peyton Manning in an ad.
00:27:48.360 No, guys, Bud Light's cool again.
00:27:49.940 They sponsored the UFC.
00:27:51.980 It's now working.
00:27:54.100 According to Bloomberg News, still losing ground.
00:27:57.180 This is good news for Trump.
00:28:00.000 You know, President Trump made a tweet many, many years ago, and it's maybe my favorite
00:28:05.460 tweet, other than his endorsement of my blank book, Reasons to Vote for Democrats, which
00:28:08.740 you called a great book for your reading enjoyment.
00:28:11.920 It's my second favorite Trump tweet, and it says, despite the constant negative press,
00:28:15.120 Covfefe.
00:28:16.360 Presumably, he was writing press coverage, and he was going to finish it, but he just, you
00:28:20.400 know, he accidentally sent it.
00:28:21.400 He just went to sleep.
00:28:22.080 He didn't even, he didn't even delete it.
00:28:23.700 Despite the constant negative press, Covfefe.
00:28:25.640 Despite the constant negative press, we're now being told all the polls are changing.
00:28:30.220 Kamala's winning.
00:28:31.420 Trump's losing it.
00:28:32.480 Trump's VP, he's weird, and Trump is offending black people.
00:28:37.540 And I don't know, I heard a lot of black people in that room were laughing at Trump's jokes
00:28:40.420 about Kamala.
00:28:41.200 And actually, I don't know, it seems like the organizers were really angry, maybe because
00:28:45.380 Trump was doing pretty well.
00:28:46.720 And actually, maybe the media are not omnipotent.
00:28:50.800 If the liberal establishment media were omnipotent, AB InBev's stock price would be a lot higher
00:28:58.260 right now.
00:28:59.500 Bud Light would be selling a lot better right now.
00:29:02.900 You get this media onslaught to defend Bud Light as a symbol of transgenderism, LGBTQ.
00:29:11.160 If the media were omnipotent, DEI would be doing a lot better right now, wouldn't be
00:29:14.620 being banned on college campuses to the applause of constituents.
00:29:17.480 If the media were omnipotent, there wouldn't be an international backlash against the Olympics
00:29:23.760 right now for mocking Christ and for letting dudes crush women's skulls.
00:29:28.840 This is good news to me for Trump.
00:29:30.540 You're not going to read about how that's good news in the media.
00:29:34.060 But to me, I still feel cautiously hopeful that Trump can pull it out, despite the constant
00:29:39.280 negative press and despite the immense political power of the liberal establishment.
00:29:43.420 Now, speaking of Trump, you remember Green Day?
00:29:46.620 Green Day was this band from like 20 years ago, and they were punk.
00:29:51.580 They were mainstream punk.
00:29:52.840 You know, they're kind of like lame normie punk.
00:29:54.900 And anyway, the Green Day singer, Billy Joe something, he was just at a concert and he
00:29:59.740 held up a mask representing Donald Trump's severed head.
00:30:04.480 He's doing Kathy Griffin like seven years late.
00:30:07.580 That's how lame punk has gotten.
00:30:10.000 Punk has gone from, you know, punk, like cool man, yeah, down with the system, to doing impressions
00:30:17.040 of redhead comedians, you know, seven years later or something.
00:30:22.300 But the reason this is offensive or would be offensive if it weren't so lame is President
00:30:29.520 Trump almost had his head blown off a couple of weeks ago.
00:30:31.780 And for a while, the liberals were pretending that they were really upset about this and
00:30:35.780 that they abhor political violence.
00:30:37.260 But now they're back at their old tricks.
00:30:39.680 Joe Walsh, who is, he's a Republican who only ever supports Democrats.
00:30:43.240 He's one of those, you know.
00:30:44.600 Joe Walsh, I think, is representative of the liberals here.
00:30:48.340 Walsh tweets out just a few days ago.
00:30:52.240 He says, I'm just not a fan of Harris calling Trump weird.
00:30:55.620 Weird isn't serious enough.
00:30:56.700 Weird is inadequate to describe the danger Trump is.
00:30:59.140 Trump is a lawless, un-American psychopath.
00:31:02.420 He's an existential threat to democracy.
00:31:05.620 Calling him weird just doesn't cut it.
00:31:06.940 Existential threat.
00:31:08.040 That's the sort of language that justifies assassination.
00:31:11.360 But when Trump was very nearly assassinated, Walsh tweeted out, I pray that Donald Trump
00:31:16.460 is okay and was not seriously hurt.
00:31:18.560 Kind of weird to pray that an existential threat to your country is not seriously hurt.
00:31:21.900 To pray that Hitler is okay.
00:31:23.300 And he also said, we consider the people we disagree with to be our mortal enemies.
00:31:26.360 We can't continue down this road.
00:31:29.140 Well, I don't know.
00:31:30.300 To call him an existential threat seems to be continuing down this road.
00:31:33.660 To hold up an image of a man's severed head would seem to be continuing down this road.
00:31:39.680 To say that Donald Trump supports Nazis and admires Hitler seems to be continuing down this road.
00:31:44.920 It's not just Joe Walsh.
00:31:45.840 Here I'm referring to the Green Day guy, Kathy Griffin.
00:31:49.800 I'm referring to Joe Biden.
00:31:50.840 I'm referring to all of them.
00:31:51.840 This is what they're doing.
00:31:53.480 Okay.
00:31:53.820 Green Day is doing this in part because it's been a long time since 2004, the last time
00:31:58.300 they made a notable album and they need some attention.
00:32:01.080 But the libs broadly are without remorse.
00:32:04.160 And they're without remorse for something they did that was very wicked, which is establishing
00:32:09.880 the justification to assassinate Trump.
00:32:13.140 And they're remorseless about this in part because they really believe it.
00:32:18.500 Or if they don't believe it, they don't care if he dies.
00:32:20.340 And some of them have more overtly than others called for his assassination.
00:32:27.540 But also because that's their whole campaign.
00:32:30.320 They ain't running on Kamala.
00:32:31.680 They're working overtime now to hide everything Kamala's ever done or said.
00:32:35.480 So they ain't running on her.
00:32:37.000 They're running against Trump.
00:32:38.760 And the only way to run against Trump is to say he's an existential threat to democracy,
00:32:42.020 that he's the worst thing in the world.
00:32:43.040 So they got to run by continuing to buttress the justification to assassinate him.

00:33:11.560 My favorite comment yesterday is from David Aloha 5084.
00:33:18.000 Kamala Harris's connection to black Americans closely resembles Obama's.
00:33:21.160 Actually, that's a fair point.
00:33:23.480 That's a really good point.
00:33:24.680 Obama's mother was white and his dad was Kenyan.
00:33:29.600 And he grew up in Hawaii and elsewhere in the world.
00:33:33.560 So he, yeah, he's half black.
00:33:37.100 There's no question about that.
00:33:38.140 But he's not, he's not in any part African-American.
00:33:44.040 Other than his own personal experience of growing up in Hawaii or whatever.
00:33:47.180 But he's not, he doesn't have any African-American ancestry.
00:33:50.280 It's different.
00:33:50.920 So you could say, well, it's all the same if you think that all black people everywhere on
00:33:54.720 earth are the same.
00:33:55.380 But it's, it's very similar.
00:33:56.400 And similar to Obama, Republicans have to be crafty about how they, about how they talk
00:34:01.600 about this.
00:34:02.600 The difference between Obama and Harris though, is Obama, I think really believed things and
00:34:07.000 continues to believe things.
00:34:08.820 Obama's fairly intelligent guy, fairly ideological guy.
00:34:13.360 Kamala's not ideological.
00:34:14.560 I don't think she believes really anything in the world other than she, she does seem to
00:34:18.060 have this real hobby horse about killing babies.
00:34:19.620 But other than that, I don't think she really cares about crime.
00:34:22.160 She'll change her position.
00:34:23.380 She'll change her position on healthcare or she'll change her position on anything.
00:34:28.720 She's a phony.
00:34:29.660 So I think that the pointing to her, her racial exaggerations and pivots and things, it's,
00:34:35.780 it's going to be more effective against her because it highlights a vulnerability she has
00:34:41.380 that Obama doesn't, which is that she's fake.
00:34:43.080 Now, speaking of President Trump and violence, President Trump is in trouble again with the
00:34:51.360 media for saying that without him, Israel might not exist.
00:34:57.600 To vote for Trump.
00:35:00.140 If you don't have Jewish people voting for Republicans, including people in the House and including
00:35:08.060 people in the Senate, you're not going to have Israel for very long.
00:35:11.840 I'm telling you, you're not going to have it for very long.
00:35:15.240 The other thing is this, you have many people that are Jewish people in this country that
00:35:20.580 hate Israel.
00:35:21.860 Somebody's got to teach these people that Israel is a good thing, not a bad thing.
00:35:26.340 Okay.
00:35:26.840 And he goes on and there, there's some faux outrage that how dare Trump say that without
00:35:32.980 him, Israel wouldn't exist.
00:35:34.220 Well, I don't know.
00:35:35.080 I mean, the Democrats right now are experiencing an intifada within their ranks and they have
00:35:41.120 members of Congress who are saying from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
00:35:45.500 Multiple members who support the Palestine liberation movement, the goal of which is the
00:35:49.980 abolition of the state of Israel.
00:35:51.460 So that, that's real, that's happening.
00:35:53.120 It's not just fringe activists.
00:35:54.160 It's people pretty high up in the Democrat ranks.
00:35:57.000 And so, and then furthermore, Trump goes in and he says, and there are plenty of Jews
00:36:01.960 who don't like Israel.
00:36:03.800 There are plenty of Jews who are part of the free Palestine movement, which is true.
00:36:07.900 It's an important observation that Jews are not monolithic in their political views.
00:36:12.460 And here's the most important part.
00:36:14.420 Trump is appealing to the Jews who might support him.
00:36:19.020 He's not going to win the people at the New York times.
00:36:23.240 He doesn't need to appeal to them.
00:36:25.100 He's not going to win the people who pal around with Chuck Schumer.
00:36:29.200 He doesn't need to appeal to them, but there are lots of conservative Jews for whom Israel
00:36:36.840 is an important issue.
00:36:37.940 They do support Israel.
00:36:39.040 They want an American president who supports Israel, not all Jews, but the ones who might
00:36:45.320 vote for Trump.
00:36:45.860 And it just so happens right now that the Republican Party is the pro-Israel party and the Democrat
00:36:50.420 party is pretty fanatically anti-Israel.
00:36:52.740 And this could be politically beneficial to Trump.
00:36:55.100 And so he's appealing to that group.
00:36:56.600 This is what you're supposed to do.
00:36:59.520 It's a direct appeal.
00:37:00.700 And it's not just a direct appeal to Jews, by the way, who support Israel.
00:37:03.740 It's a direct appeal to evangelical Christians who support Israel.
00:37:07.460 It's a direct appeal to others who are just, I don't know, just political observers of
00:37:12.460 the Middle East who think it's advantageous to us to support Israel and Saudi Arabia and
00:37:17.740 Kuwait and Bahrain over, say, Iran and Iran's allies.
00:37:23.220 It's just making a direct appeal.
00:37:25.800 And I think that's pretty smart.
00:37:27.880 You, as I mentioned on the show the other day, you win the universal, you win the national
00:37:31.840 election, by winning the particular, by winning this state and this group and these people
00:37:36.260 and this thing and that thing.
00:37:37.580 The left does it.
00:37:39.180 The left has white dudes for Harris, led by Mayor Pete, you know, and the rest of the
00:37:44.840 gang.
00:37:45.160 But they're even appealing to the group that they constantly deplore, the white men.
00:37:50.880 They know how to play that game of winning the particulars to win the universal.
00:37:55.000 Conservatives should do it, too.
00:37:55.900 I think it's very, very smart.
00:37:57.940 Now, speaking of appealing to certain groups, J.D. Vance has been pilloried.
00:38:02.180 They can't find anything on J.D. Vance.
00:38:04.120 J.D. Vance is too impressive.
00:38:05.800 You know, he's too smart.
00:38:06.920 He's too normal.
00:38:07.920 His family's too beautiful.
00:38:09.480 He's too reasonable on matters of public policy.
00:38:12.320 He's too appealing in his political outlook to a large swath of voters.
00:38:16.220 So they say he's weird.
00:38:18.180 And they find this one joke he made on Tucker Carlson's show where he said, you know, we're
00:38:22.580 being run by childless cat ladies, our whole country.
00:38:24.820 And they're hammering this joke, this, you know, flippant little line.
00:38:29.480 And now reporters are grilling J.D. Vance's Senate colleague, Josh Hawley, about this.
00:38:35.320 Here's Hawley's answer.
00:38:36.800 Go back to J.D. Vance for a second.
00:38:38.760 Okay, yes.
00:38:39.460 Are you worried that his comments like childless cat lady could alienate women voters that you
00:38:44.240 need?
00:38:45.660 Listen, I just say this.
00:38:47.080 As Republicans, we started by talking about the child tax credit.
00:38:50.200 As Republicans, we should be in favor of helping people who want to have families have families.
00:38:55.980 One of the reasons it's hard to have a family in America today is it's really expensive.
00:39:00.160 I mean, parents have to work two jobs to have the kind of purchasing power that 50 years ago
00:39:04.620 you could get on one income.
00:39:05.660 That is not a positive thing.
00:39:07.040 That is not a recommendation of our economy.
00:39:09.060 So, that's what we ought to be talking about.
00:39:11.900 I mean, some people don't want to have kids.
00:39:13.380 Yeah, fair enough.
00:39:13.620 I guess, should Republicans be talking about women who don't want children in the way that
00:39:18.620 J.D. Vance did?
00:39:19.320 No.
00:39:22.100 Yeah.
00:39:22.640 Okay, fair enough.
00:39:23.660 The reason Hawley is running from this, again, you know, could we say, like, J.D.
00:39:26.980 was making a joke on a provocative show.
00:39:29.080 And he's obviously not talking about every individual who matches that description.
00:39:33.020 He's obviously not talking about people who've suffered from infertility or anything.
00:39:36.000 He's talking about a type.
00:39:37.560 He's talking about a stereotype, a caricature.
00:39:40.280 Barack Obama talks about the bitter clingers who cling to their guns and religion, you know.
00:39:45.080 Is he talking about every Christian?
00:39:46.700 No, he's talking about a stereotype and a very offensive stereotype.
00:39:49.960 But in this case, you know, J.D.'s making a joke.
00:39:53.240 But why is Hawley running from this?
00:39:55.100 There's something instructive here.
00:39:57.660 In politics, you have to give people the ability to support you.
00:40:03.600 You have to give people an offering.
00:40:05.260 This is a point I've made many times.
00:40:08.480 Sometimes I'm criticized in my interviews or my interactions with leftists or others with whom I disagree for being a little too nice or something.
00:40:17.740 I don't know.
00:40:18.100 I think I hold my ground pretty strongly.
00:40:22.260 But I try to catch them where they are.
00:40:28.120 I try to persuade them.
00:40:29.660 I try to pull them over to my side.
00:40:31.800 I want to give them—if I go on the Whatever podcast and I'm talking to women who are actively producing pornography on OnlyFans,
00:40:39.980 I'm going to have to talk to them a little bit differently than if I'm addressing the Christian Broadcasters Association conference or something like that.
00:40:48.380 And I think that's fine.
00:40:49.360 That's politics.
00:40:50.100 You know, you get to the universal through the particular.
00:40:51.980 And so here, there are a lot of women, not just couples who suffer from infertility, but there are a lot of women who were lied to by colleges and by their teachers and by the media and by Hollywood and by everything.
00:41:07.420 And they were told, don't get married.
00:41:10.360 Oh, kids are terrible.
00:41:11.260 Kids are like a sexually transmitted disease.
00:41:12.860 You know, you don't want them.
00:41:13.700 If you'd accidentally get pregnant, you should abort the kid.
00:41:16.160 Leads to all sorts of trauma for women.
00:41:17.860 You should now just pursue your career.
00:41:19.260 And then these women—I know a lot of women who've dealt with this problem.
00:41:22.900 They wake up one day in their late 30s or their 40s, and they say, shoot, man, I was lied to.
00:41:27.640 I actually do want kids.
00:41:28.680 I actually do want to get married.
00:41:30.400 And then, you know, you do the best you can.
00:41:32.260 But that's what—J.D. Vance, I am certain, is not talking about that.
00:41:39.940 J.D. Vance is talking about this stereotype and this ideal that the left has.
00:41:46.560 That you actually—it's great to be the childless cat lady of, you know, this type of someone who actually hates family, who hates the opposite sex,
00:41:56.320 who views the sex as not as complementary but as totally opposed to each other,
00:41:59.560 who hates the idea of children, like that woman, Molly Jong-Fast, who said natalism, you know, the idea of having kids, is authoritarian and fascist and right-wing.
00:42:06.700 That's obviously what he's talking about.
00:42:08.400 And so, you know, again, I don't think there's anything wrong with Republicans making jokes and stuff like that.
00:42:13.280 But Hawley's point here is, I think, instructive, which is you've got to—when you're campaigning, you've got to give people an excuse to support you.
00:42:22.380 You've got to give them that off-ramp.
00:42:25.260 30% of Gen Z says it's LGBTQ, LMNOP.
00:42:28.360 You've got to give them an off-ramp.
00:42:29.620 You've got to figure out some way.
00:42:31.460 You say, hey, yeah, whatever.
00:42:32.560 You're doing weird, like, gender and sex stuff and whatever.
00:42:34.960 Hey, it's all right.
00:42:36.820 Forget it.
00:42:37.140 That's the past.
00:42:37.940 Forget about it.
00:42:38.420 Move on.
00:42:38.900 And don't pillory them.
00:42:40.420 You know, you don't need to necessarily mock them.
00:42:42.600 You say, look, there's a bad ideology.
00:42:43.980 It should be eradicated from public life entirely.
00:42:45.720 It's really messed you guys up, especially.
00:42:48.400 Okay, move on.
00:42:49.180 Don't worry.
00:42:49.600 You're welcome here.
00:42:50.280 We're going to fix it.
00:42:51.960 It's okay.
00:42:52.500 No big deal.
00:42:53.140 Let's move on.
00:42:54.780 That's the art of inclusion.
00:42:57.220 Okay, now, speaking of political innovations, one of the big ones is cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.
00:43:03.700 I was just at that Bitcoin conference.
00:43:05.840 Someone asked me a question, and I think he meant the question sincerely.
00:43:09.880 Someone said, would Jesus support Bitcoin?
00:43:14.040 Okay, there's a lot to that question.
00:43:15.560 I'm not comfortable giving an answer.
00:43:16.980 I have to think about it.
00:43:17.920 I don't know enough about Bitcoin.
00:43:18.960 I need to ponder that.
00:43:22.680 My guest will help me ponder that.
00:43:24.280 This is Jordan Bush, author of Thank God for Bitcoin, and founder of a group that helps
00:43:31.120 Christians understand Bitcoin and use it even for missionary work.
00:43:35.260 So the rest of the show continues now.
00:43:36.940 You don't want to miss it.

00:43:48.960 Republicans or Nazis, you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:43:59.000 Growing up, I never thought much about race.
00:44:00.920 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.
00:44:03.580 Am I racist?
00:44:04.780 I would really appreciate it if you left.
00:44:06.140 I'm trying to learn.
00:44:06.800 I'm on this journey.
00:44:08.140 If I'm going to sort this out, I need to go deeper undercover.
00:44:12.440 They don't say I'm racist.
00:44:13.740 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:44:17.400 Here's my certification.
00:44:18.540 And what you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:44:21.260 This is more for you than this for you.
00:44:22.240 Is America inherently racist?
00:44:23.800 The word inherent is challenging there.
00:44:25.720 I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.
00:44:28.880 America is racist to its bones.
00:44:30.680 So inherently.
00:44:31.360 Yeah.
00:44:31.740 This country is a piece of s***.
00:44:34.700 White folks.
00:44:35.780 White trash.
00:44:36.280 White supremacy.
00:44:37.080 White woman.
00:44:37.640 White boy.
00:44:38.220 Is there a black person around here?
00:44:39.520 There's a black person right here.
00:44:40.860 Does he not exist?
00:44:41.620 He's going to say I'm racist.
00:44:43.460 Hi, Robin.
00:44:44.180 Hi.
00:44:44.540 What's your name?
00:44:45.480 I'm Matt.
00:44:45.980 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.
00:44:49.020 I'll never be too careful.
