Ep. 1573 - New Haitian Video Explains Cats & VooDoo
Summary
In the final weeks of the campaign, the question that has implausibly come to dominate our political discourse: do Haitians eat cats? Is it racist to eat cats, or is it racist not to do so? In this episode, Robin and Matt try to answer that question.

You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:00:06.200
Growing up in the 90s, I never thought much about race.
00:00:10.760
seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.
00:00:27.400
If I want to be an ally, I need to look like one.
00:00:37.080
Martin Luther King said not to judge people by the-
00:00:52.360
And I'm not going to even use save this country.
00:01:07.080
Where are you guys in your anti-racist journeys?
00:01:09.520
So I'll look around the room and point to who we believe is the most racist person in the room.
00:01:17.080
We want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.
00:01:23.160
What do you think about this issue of heteronormativity and how it intersects with the broader structures of racism in society?
00:01:39.240
What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:02:09.240
I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.
00:02:23.240
That is the question that has implausibly come to dominate our political discourse in
00:02:28.240
the final weeks of the 2024 presidential election.
00:02:31.240
Liberal politicians and journalists, such as David Muir, say that they do not.
00:02:39.240
Like this second generation Haitian American in a video reposted by Elon Musk.
00:02:44.240
My father immigrated from Haiti to the United States in the late 60s as a teenager.
00:02:51.240
And I want to talk about these recent comments about the Haitians in Springfield, Ohio.
00:02:55.240
He wasn't eating people's pets and he didn't practice voodoo.
00:02:59.240
But he did say that most of the island, the majority of the island does practice voodoo.
00:03:10.240
This is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
00:03:13.240
You can't just go to a food bank like you can here or just go to McDonald's and get some free or cheap food.
00:03:20.240
Unless, of course, there's a Christian missionary there.
00:03:23.240
People in the United States have a really hard time imagining that type of thing, but it is true.
00:03:29.240
Second, they do do animal sacrifices for their religion, voodoo.
00:03:34.240
They make these animal sacrifices to these gods for different reasons.
00:03:43.240
That doesn't mean, obviously, that doesn't mean that you hate these people.
00:03:49.240
But you can't just take over all these people from another country and expect it to work.
00:03:54.240
Not to mention it doesn't fix the problems of that country.
00:03:58.240
And there's more people left in Haiti that we can bring over.
00:04:01.240
It's not racist to acknowledge that this is a problem.
00:04:04.240
The political nerd class hated that President Trump brought up Haitians eating cats at the presidential debate.
00:04:16.240
This is one of Trump's greatest political skills.
00:04:19.240
He can translate complex, frequently dry policy issues into vivid images.
00:04:25.240
He did the same thing on the same issue, actually, and was met with the same response by the Beltway types in 2015 when he called illegal border crossers murderers and rapists.
00:04:36.240
The libs engage in the same semiotic process when they describe illegal aliens as dreamers.
00:04:42.240
And Trump is saying the reality of illegal immigration is a nightmare.
00:04:47.240
Figuratively, Trump's picture of unvetted migrants as cat-eating criminals gets closer to the truth of mass migration than the happy-go-lucky dreamer picture painted by Democrats.
00:04:58.240
It's no surprise to me, then, that it might well be literally true as well.
00:05:26.240
Bobby Kennedy Jr., who was the third-party candidate, potentially a spoiler, who then dropped out and endorsed Trump and said, if you're in a swing state, vote for Trump, but if you're in a red or blue state, vote for me.
00:05:36.240
He's just come out and said, don't vote for him in a red or blue state.
00:05:40.240
We want all the votes that we can get for Trump.
00:05:42.240
And then Trump has just made a big announcement about whether or not there will be a third presidential debate.
00:05:51.240
In a world gone mad, the Precision 5 from Jeremy's Razors stands as a beacon of sanity.
00:05:58.240
I think I'm the only person at this entire company who still shaves.
00:06:01.240
Five blades of superior engineering offer a shave as unshakable as your belief that this nation's best days still lie ahead.
00:06:08.240
Experience an exceptionally smooth, remarkably close shave and a testament to the fact that merit still matters.
00:06:14.240
Stop giving your money to woke corporations that hate you.
00:06:21.240
I think I need to be cut in on Jeremy's Razors.
00:06:24.240
Another great reason to go buy Jeremy's Razors right now is that I'm the face of Jeremy's Razors.
00:06:35.240
This is, and of course, you can always get it at jeremysrazors.com.
00:06:45.240
Strongly recommend you don't give your money to razor companies that want to teach your little daughter to shave her face.
00:06:50.240
Go to jeremysrazors.com, walmart.com, or Amazon Prime.
00:06:58.240
That lady is second generation Haitian American.
00:07:00.240
She obviously doesn't eat cats and dogs, and she doesn't practice voodoo, and she's Christian.
00:07:04.240
But do some of these people, unvetted from a failed state where there is rampant cannibalism and ubiquitous voodoo, do these people eat cats and dogs?
00:07:16.240
One of the top trends on TikTok right now, I am reliably informed by my Zoomer associates, is this remix of President Trump's debate comments.
00:07:45.240
And I was discussing this yesterday with my friend Jack Posobiec on his show, and he raised
00:07:51.440
the question. He said, this trend going around TikTok, all the Zoomers dancing around to eat
00:07:56.320
the dogs, eat the cats, is this good for Trump? Is this pro-Trump or is this anti-Trump?
00:08:01.520
And that's the wrong question. This is the kind of question that you'll hear in elementary poetry
00:08:08.880
classes. What does the poem mean? People don't really read a lot of poetry anymore. I like
00:08:13.880
poetry, but they'll look at a poem and they'll say, okay, what's the hidden meaning? But that's
00:08:19.260
not what poetry does. The reason that good poets write poetry is to convey meaning in a way that
00:08:26.840
it cannot be conveyed in an essay or in a book or in a tweet. It's just a different way of communicating,
00:08:37.460
and it reaches the body in different ways. It plays on your senses in different ways than,
00:08:42.200
say, an essay would. It's not, with poetry, with images, with music, you're not, it's not just an
00:08:48.200
elaborate or ornamented way of dressing up some meaning that could easily be written in a few
00:08:54.500
bullet points on a napkin. It conveys its meaning in the best way that it can. That's why the poem
00:09:01.880
has to be a poem and the poem isn't going to be an essay or a tweet or something. The same thing here
00:09:06.840
with the dogs and the cats and the dogs and the cats. What does it mean? Is it pro-Trump or anti-Trump?
00:09:10.720
It's just a meme, man. It's just a meme. People don't scroll through memes so that they can
00:09:17.640
decipher the hidden secret meaning. The memes just kind of delight you. And I think that's
00:09:22.560
the experience people are having. The Zoomers who are dancing to this and the many, many,
00:09:26.620
many more people who are watching these reels and these little TikToks. You watch it and you kind of
00:09:32.960
laugh. It's just kind of funny. It's delightful. You have a sensory experience of surprise,
00:09:38.520
of humor, of delight. And then you associate those things with Trump. Trump is the medium of
00:09:48.760
those experiences. That's how it works. It's not playing on a totally rational level. Music doesn't
00:09:54.560
play on a totally rational level. Plato wrote about this in The Republic. This is why he said we got to
00:09:57.960
be careful about what music we listen to because it bypasses the reason. It goes straight into the
00:10:03.060
soul. And frankly, I strongly suspect this is what inclined Trump to bring it up during the debate at
00:10:09.720
all. The nerd class cringed. They didn't want him to talk about the cats and the dogs. If he was going
00:10:14.080
to talk about mass migration, they want him to use dry, boring statistics and Excel spreadsheets.
00:10:18.720
That doesn't reach people. That's not how Trump—I talked about this on the show yesterday. That's not
00:10:24.220
how Trump made the immigration issue such an important issue in 2015 and 2016. He didn't cite a bunch of
00:10:30.040
lame numbers. He talked about murderers and rapists crossing the border. He painted a picture for you.
00:10:36.600
And it worked. That is the moment of the debate that's probably gone the most viral.
00:10:41.120
And what's the consequence of that? If there is a downstream political effect, it's going to be
00:10:46.500
people realizing that Trump is not, you know, Hitler 2.0. He's just kind of—he's like a funny guy,
00:10:51.520
you know? Hitler wasn't that funny, I don't think. I don't know. I'm not totally familiar with
00:10:55.380
Hitler, but I don't—he didn't—he was always screaming and banging the lectern. Trump is a
00:10:59.620
funny guy. And when you're laughing at a joke that someone tells you, it's hard to think that
00:11:04.400
that person is, you know, Hitler 2.0 and is going to overturn the whole country. So it takes the wind
00:11:11.540
out of the sails of the Democrats' argument that this man poses an existential, unique threat to the
00:11:16.380
republic. And it gets you talking about migration. Wait, why are we talking about Haitians eating cats
00:11:20.860
dogs? Oh, because Kamala Harris and Joe Biden flooded 300,000 of them into a small town that
00:11:25.280
didn't ask for these migrants to be placed there, where they're wreaking havoc in this town, where
00:11:31.080
they're crashing cars into school buses and buildings, where it looks like some animals are
00:11:36.320
going missing, that they shouldn't be going missing. And now all of a sudden we're talking
00:11:39.060
about mass migration again, which is bad for Kamala. It's good for Trump. What is the underlying
00:11:43.720
reality here? Well, despite the politicians saying, well, we haven't seen any credible reports.
00:11:49.720
Yeah, you haven't investigated very much either, have you? We don't consider the people who have
00:11:55.320
brought these suggestions to be all that credible. Okay, well, we've heard from people
00:11:59.820
in and around Springfield who have said that the Haitian migrants are creating a lot of social
00:12:05.340
problems there. You don't need to look very forward. This stuff is on video. Here's just one man
00:12:10.820
talking about what the Haitian migration in Springfield has meant for the community.
00:12:15.920
You know, the homeless problem. I don't know of a single homeless Haitian in this town
00:12:20.580
because they all got vouchers. But I can show you a whole bunch of people that have been displaced
00:12:25.760
because I'm that guy. Rob, you know, for 25 years I've worked with the homeless in this community.
00:12:31.840
You know, a lot of people don't know because I'm not the guy out there blowing the horn
00:12:35.100
because it ain't about me. It's the Jesus in me that goes out there and does it.
00:12:39.060
Trust me, there's days I'm tired, but I'll get into homeless camps that nobody in a suit
00:12:44.900
and tie will walk into. None. They trust me because I've never let them down.
00:12:50.540
You know, and guys, if you don't think it's here right now, in October, we are getting ready
00:12:57.400
to hit a wall here. There is not any relief for the homeless. The homeless people in this community
00:13:10.540
This is amazing testimony. I encourage you to watch the whole thing. For those of you who are
00:13:14.720
just listening, this is a guy with a big white beard, backwards baseball cap, wearing overalls.
00:13:20.720
He's got an American flag sticking out. This is a patriotic guy. And he's calling attention to this
00:13:26.380
problem that was foisted on us intentionally and consistently by Democrats, up to and including
00:13:32.280
the one who's currently running for president, Kamala Harris. And he's complaining about this
00:13:36.940
issue. It's not an idle complaint. It's a productive complaint. He's saying, we need to
00:13:41.420
do something about this. And he's doing it from the perspective of the homeless in town. So the
00:13:47.820
libs will tell you, oh, we're the defenders of the poor and the downtrodden and the homeless.
00:13:51.320
And he says, no, I work with the homeless. I go out there all the time. Some days I don't want to
00:13:54.660
do it, but I do it. I'm impelled by charity because the man is obviously Christian to go out there
00:13:59.720
and do it. He says, the people who are being hurt by mass migration, it's not the billionaire class.
00:14:05.200
It's not rich uncle penny bags. It's people who don't have very much. It's homeless people. Homeless
00:14:12.560
Americans are being hurt. People who are on the street, people who are addicted to drugs,
00:14:18.140
veterans who are dealing with psychological problems after they serve their country,
00:14:22.020
the lower middle class, the poor, the working poor, they're the ones being hurt by this.
00:14:27.800
It's an amazing testimony because it reflects this political realignment.
00:14:34.780
You've got the Republicans and the conservatives speaking for the people that the Democrats pretend
00:14:41.120
that they speak for. They're showing, no, you want to pretend that we just have to help these poor
00:14:48.300
Haitians and we need to fly them into our country and ship them into this small town. And we need to
00:14:54.460
take care of them. He says, I don't see any Haitian homeless people around here because you Democrats
00:14:59.700
give the Haitians vouchers to go have nice housing. What about for the Americans? You're going to give
00:15:05.860
the Americans nice housing? What about the veterans who are on the streets? What about the people who
00:15:09.400
are addicted to drugs and dying from drug addiction because you left the border open and you let poison
00:15:14.020
pour into this country like fentanyl? What about them? You don't seem to give a damn about them,
00:15:18.160
but you'll fly foreigners in from all over the world and you'll treat them much,
00:15:22.800
much better than you treat your own citizens. That is a powerful message. And we are only
00:15:28.780
talking about that today. Even the establishment media has had to talk about it a little bit.
00:15:32.720
We're talking about that because Donald Trump mentioned cats and dogs during a presidential
00:15:37.400
debate. Pretty good political rhetoric, if you ask me. There's so much more to say. First, though,

Face Off with Brett Cooper. Check out this teaser.
00:16:34.280
All right, Brett, what do you have? Five and a half hours. I said seven. It's technically
00:16:39.040
6.8 hours. I put seven in the prompter, but it's actually 6.8. What was in the prompter?
00:16:44.600
It's seven, but it's not true. I rounded up just to make it easier. So I didn't think you'd get that
00:16:48.300
close. You thought, oh, no, no, there's no chance that someone would guess seven over the answer of
00:16:55.980
6.8 in a game where you have to get closest without going over. You just didn't. It was feisty. It was
00:17:10.200
intense. It was sexy. I laughed. I cried. Tragedy and comedy all in the Face Off with my friend Brett.
00:17:18.260
So go check that out on the Michael Knowles YouTube channel coming to you very shortly.
00:17:24.200
What are the problems of mass migration? Well, you know, the dogs and the cats, sure.
00:17:30.800
The housing problems, when you import this many people, that's going to drive up the cost of
00:17:34.420
housing. There are going to be labor problems that come about as a result of that. It's going to drive
00:17:38.360
down wages for some people. It's going to make the labor market much more difficult to navigate for
00:17:42.440
some people, for some Americans. Also, it's going to undermine your sovereignty. Also, it's going to
00:17:49.860
undermine the integrity of your elections. Now, the minute I say that, I know that the Democrat
00:17:56.820
activists who watch my show every single day and who subscribe to The Daily Wire to do it,
00:18:01.280
they're going to start writing their headlines. Michael Knowles spreads misinformation, false
00:18:06.760
news, fake news about illegal aliens voting in elections. It does not happen. This is not real.
00:18:13.980
It's a calumny. OK, well, I'm not the one who said it first, at least. What do you what do you
00:18:19.580
make of this news report aired on a CBS affiliate? An undocumented woman from North Alabama has pleaded
00:18:26.600
guilty to voting and passport fraud. The Department of Justice says 42 year old Angelica Marina
00:18:32.540
Francisco obtained the identity of a U.S. citizen back in 2011. She used the false identity to get a
00:18:38.520
passport and vote in the 2016 and 2020 primary and general elections. The DOJ says the penalty for
00:18:45.440
aggravated identity theft is two years in prison. The maximum penalty for false statements in an
00:18:50.780
application for a passport using the passport and a false claim of citizenship for voting is a total of
00:18:56.800
25 years in prison. That's one woman in Alabama, not exactly a swing state, one person who's been
00:19:05.020
prosecuted. Now, there are many more examples of this that are reported. This is just the latest one.
00:19:10.540
But you know what the libs are going to say? They're going to say, oh, you know, this is just a
00:19:13.280
one off. Well, we don't really investigate this sort of thing. By definition, this is a very difficult
00:19:18.720
crime to pin down. It's it's an act of deception that half of our country and most of our political
00:19:29.120
class is intentionally obscuring. The reason that the libs are importing these foreigners into our
00:19:35.280
country is to rig elections in the long run. Many of them have said that openly. So it's hard to figure
00:19:42.500
it out. But just look at her behavior. This wasn't just a woman who accidentally showed up to a polling
00:19:47.840
place one day who just didn't know that foreigners are not allowed to vote. She obtained false documents.
00:19:54.500
Now, you might say, well, she obtained the false documents potentially just to get a job. Yeah,
00:19:59.160
maybe. And why'd she go vote? If you are illegally in this country and you you need to get a false
00:20:06.840
document to get a job, which is not true. Many times you can just get the job without a false
00:20:11.160
document. But let's say that's why. Why would you imperil your freedom, your ability to skirt the law
00:20:19.680
even by going to vote? And then if you're voting, why would you specifically vote in these presidential
00:20:27.540
election years, these significant years, 2016 and 2020? Do you think someone maybe suggested that she
00:20:35.320
do that? Do you think she was guided to do that? Democrats have some of the best get out the vote
00:20:40.000
operations in history. Democrats are really good at shenanigans and rigging elections. You think maybe
00:20:47.340
there were one or two other people involved in this who planted the seed in her head? Maybe you
00:20:51.720
helped her to do it. That's going on in Alabama. What's going on in the swing states where Democrats
00:20:59.840
are investing virtually all of their resources in turning out votes, whether or not those votes are
00:21:07.580
coming from eligible voters or not? But it's not happening. Okay, this person did it. Okay, that person
00:21:14.580
did. Okay, it happened once or twice. But hey, come on, don't believe your lying eyes. Now, the biggest
00:21:20.700
problem with mass migration is that it changes the constitution of the country. I'm not saying the
00:21:27.140
capital C constitution. I'm not talking about the piece of parchment, we the people, in order to form a
00:21:31.780
more perfect union. I'm talking about the lowercase c constitution, how the country actually works.
00:21:37.200
In terms of your day-to-day life, you probably don't refer to the constitution very much. The laws
00:21:45.340
that actually govern you are fairly removed. The customs, the behaviors, the workplace regulations,
00:21:51.380
all the things that actually govern your life, they're pretty removed from the constitution.
00:21:56.740
And as the country increasingly has a population that was not raised here, doesn't have parents from
00:22:04.100
here, doesn't have that generational knowledge of the country or that reverence for, say, the founding
00:22:09.380
era or the era of the Mayflower, which is a great cigar brand, by the way. People who probably couldn't
00:22:16.880
pass a civics class, that's going to change things. And it's not even just the migrants. I don't want to
00:22:20.420
blame the migrants for everything. As that tightly knit, well-oiled machine of the state becomes less
00:22:31.500
clear, more ambiguous, filled with different people and multiculturalism. And even the native-born
00:22:36.120
population starts to lose its ability to, and its familiarity with the constitution. There's a
00:22:43.620
survey just came out, comes out every so often, the Annenberg constitution day civics survey.
00:22:50.020
This is to celebrate constitution day on September 17th, showed that a third of Americans cannot
00:22:55.960
correctly name all three branches of government. This is being reported as a positive too. They're saying,
00:23:01.200
look, almost two-thirds of Americans can name all three branches of government. This is the basic
00:23:06.380
structure of our government. A third of people in this country can't name the executive, the
00:23:14.900
legislature, and the judiciary. Now, how about as you get a little further into the constitution?
00:23:21.900
The First Amendment. Almost three-quarters of Americans know that that involves free speech.
00:23:26.700
So a quarter of Americans don't know that the First Amendment involves free speech.
00:23:29.380
But the First Amendment doesn't just involve free speech. It also protects freedom of religion
00:23:35.360
in as much as it does not establish a national church. Only 39% of respondents knew that.
00:23:44.340
Only 29% knew that it involves a free press. No surprise, we don't really have a free press in
00:23:49.520
America anymore. So the fact that some dusty old piece of parchment says we should doesn't really
00:23:54.720
impress anyone. 27% knew that it involves the right to assembly. 11% knew that the First Amendment
00:24:02.980
protects the right to petition the government. The right to redress grievances. 11%.
00:24:09.220
The vast majority, 9 in 10 Americans don't know that.
00:24:12.580
How about on the structure of government? The Supreme Court, these respondents were asked what they
00:24:21.020
think about the Supreme Court. 69% supported a mandatory retirement age. 68% are in favor of term
00:24:26.560
limits. This is some of the gutting of the court that the Democrats have been pushing. If those sorts of
00:24:32.140
things went into effect, that would be another aspect of the so-called court reform that these
00:24:40.640
respondents wanted was an ethics reform, a new code of ethics imposed by the legislature or the
00:24:46.320
executive that would fundamentally disfigure the separation of powers, the balance of power within
00:24:54.100
our government. The vast majority of Americans support that kind of stuff. In the long run,
00:25:01.580
the uppercase C Constitution is not going to save us. It can protect us for a little while when people
00:25:07.520
get more vicious and more ignorant. It can protect us for a little bit because there are still
00:25:10.860
institutions of power and power. The law still has force within a functioning government. The law is a
00:25:16.560
tutor after all. But in the long run, that piece of paper is not going to matter at all.
00:25:22.240
If the lowercase C Constitution is not strong, is not coherent, is not virtuous, is not fastidious,
00:25:31.840
is not responsible, any number of adjectives. If the lowercase C Constitution is not strong,
00:25:40.260
you can have all the pieces of parchment in the world. It will not protect you.
00:25:43.940
There's so much more to say. First, though, go to roe.co slash Knowles. Gentlemen, have you heard of
00:25:50.460
Roe Sparks? This dual action prescription merges the powerhouse ingredients found in generic Viagra,
00:25:57.200
Cialis, Sildenafil, and Tadalafil into one formidable treatment. It's not merely about
00:26:04.860
the ingredients and the medication. It's how you take it. That's why Roe Sparks are designed to
00:26:08.720
dissolve under your tongue. That's huge because dissolvable treatment hits your bloodstream faster
00:26:13.640
than old school pills. Roe Sparks keeps you present with your partner, which is a modern word
00:26:19.100
that we use for the older term, spouse. Also, it keeps you present instead of waiting for a pill to
00:26:25.820
work. Roe Sparks leverages the benefits of sublingual administration, meaning the tablet
00:26:31.180
dissolves under your tongue. This method allows for fast absorption. Go to roe.co, get 15 bucks off
00:26:37.500
your first order. Roe.co slash Knowles. Roe.co slash Knowles. 15 bucks off your first order. Compounded
00:26:45.420
drugs are permitted to be prescribed under federal law but are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA
00:26:49.640
safety effectiveness or manufacturing review. Only available if prescribed after an online consultation
00:26:54.860
with a provider. My favorite comment yesterday is from Reinforce. Oh, Reinforce. That's good.
00:27:01.300
Says, inflation now from 2020 to today is worse than inflation from 2008 to 2020. That's an amazing
00:27:09.840
number. I talked about inflation yesterday on the show. 12-year period of inflation. Immediately after a
00:27:17.780
major economic crisis, lots of tumult in the country, ton of spending on foreign wars,
00:27:22.540
racking up a lot of national debt. Even during that tumultuous time, 12 years,
00:27:28.540
that does not get us close to the inflation that we have seen just under the Biden-Harris
00:27:36.060
administration. That is radical, dangerous stuff. I thought when we left Los Angeles, we moved here
00:27:42.540
to Tennessee. One of the pitches was, hey, guys, you'll all get a 13% raise. Not because Jeremy was
00:27:48.400
going to pay us anymore, but because the cost of living. Well, not even, forget about the cost of
00:27:53.980
living, because there's no state income tax. To say nothing of the cost of living would be more than
00:27:58.220
a 13% raise. That gets totally wiped out in just three and a half years, wherever you live.
00:28:05.740
The cost of goods and services, your household expenses, have probably gone up something like 22%,
00:28:11.240
maybe more, depending on where you live in the last three and a half years.
00:28:17.460
How much longer is that going to go on? And can people really vote for more of that?
00:28:22.600
Now, speaking of threats to our country, the Washington Post has identified a new threat
00:28:27.940
to America. And yes, it does involve Donald Trump. Of course it does. The threat that the
00:28:34.640
Washington Post identified is that Donald Trump is upset that he was shot in the head.
00:28:42.700
That's the threat. The threat is not that Trump was shot.
00:28:47.060
The threat is that Donald Trump is making a little bit of a deal out of having been shot.
00:28:54.140
That's a big threat. Trump said during the debate, I probably took a bullet to the head because of the
00:29:01.500
things that they say about me. Now, this was after the Libs had called him a threat to democracy.
00:29:08.200
He said, a threat to democracy? Are you kidding me? I took a bullet for democracy. I probably took a
00:29:11.720
bullet to the head because of the things that they say about me. And that's obviously true.
00:29:16.060
Biden launched his presidential campaign on Trump posing an existential threat to democracy.
00:29:20.060
The Libs have been calling this guy Hitler 2.0 for 10 years now, almost.
00:29:25.020
That justifies assassinating Trump. If someone is Hitler, which in our modern mythology and our common
00:29:31.400
parlance means the incarnation of absolute evil, if someone poses an existential threat to your
00:29:35.680
country, that justifies assassinating that person. That justifies exceeding the bounds of the law and
00:29:45.760
even the Constitution. What Trump said was 100% right. Here's what the Washington Post says about it.
00:29:53.860
Trump said this at the ABC debate, referring to the bullet or bullet fragment that authorities said
00:29:59.120
grazed his right ear. Listen to this. This guy gets shot in the head. And the only reason that it
00:30:03.220
didn't blow the back of his skull off is because he turned at the very last minute, totally unexpectedly,
00:30:08.500
20 degrees. And the FBI has stated with full certainty, he was shot with a bullet. And these people
00:30:15.700
say, yeah, he was grazed by a bullet or bullet fragment. It grazed his ear.
00:30:21.300
Whatever little respect you have for the establishment media, including the Washington Post,
00:30:28.920
one of the most prestigious outlets, it is not little enough. You do not hold this institution
00:30:37.520
in nearly enough contempt. They go on. Researchers who study political violence said these words,
00:30:43.580
images, and emotions have the dual effect of mobilizing Trump supporters to vote for him
00:30:48.220
and delegitimizing the outcome in case he loses. They also said Trump's emphasis on the shooting
00:30:54.340
could inspire some of his supporters to resort to violence in his defense. But I'm going to pause
00:30:58.260
here. I don't think Trump has emphasized the shooting nearly enough. I want Trump to be talking
00:31:04.760
about this shooting every single day. The man was nearly assassinated weeks ago after the Democrats
00:31:11.760
justified assassinating him, after they tried to throw him in prison multiple times, they're still doing
00:31:15.620
that. After they tried to impeach him on nonsense charges twice, after they weaponized the government
00:31:21.880
against Donald Trump for his entire presidency and before his presidency when they spied on him during
00:31:27.640
his campaign. And the Washington Post has the temerity to say Trump's emphasis on the shooting
00:31:35.220
could inspire, in theory, his supporters to resort to violence. That Trump's opponents have been
00:31:41.100
resorting to violence for almost a decade now. They burned half the country down during 2020.
00:31:47.200
And then some guy in Pennsylvania decided to take the Democrats seriously and go try to blow the
00:31:52.700
guy's head off. But you see, the real threat is that if Trump mentions that he got shot in the head,
00:32:00.520
then in the future, a conservative, a Trump supporter might shoot somebody, maybe hypothetically
00:32:07.940
in the future. This is the real life, earnest instantiation of the Norm MacDonald bit where he
00:32:15.160
said, my biggest fear is that a Muslim terrorist would get a dirty bomb and set it off in Manhattan,
00:32:20.780
killing tens of millions of people. Because then the backlash against peaceful Muslims would be terrible.
00:32:25.320
And when he said that, his guest on the show kind of took it seriously. Yeah, yeah, you're right.
00:32:30.600
Well, that joke is now the reality of the Washington Post. They go on. Just one more
00:32:34.480
little bit here. It is creating a permission structure for at least some people to want to
00:32:40.400
take matters into their own hands, said Matt Dalek, a George Washington University professor
00:32:45.080
who studies the conservative movement and is working on a book about presidential assassination
00:32:49.460
attempts and political violence in the 20th century. It operates, this is the line,
00:32:53.980
this is the piece de resistance. It operates similarly to the big lie about the 2020 election
00:33:00.420
being stolen and therein lies the danger to the country. So Trump's saying, hey, they shot me in
00:33:05.180
the head. Not even that. Hey, I was shot in the head. This joker, Matt Dalek from George Washington
00:33:13.720
University says that's akin to the big lie. But hold on, it's not a big lie. Trump did get shot in the
00:33:19.540
head. We all saw it on TV. And the Secret Service and the FBI have all said that that happened and
00:33:25.940
we all saw it. So hold on, if the libs are saying that a thing that we all know with 100% certainty
00:33:33.400
happened is like the big lie, it's kind of making me think that the other things they call a big lie
00:33:38.800
maybe are not lies. Maybe they're the truth too. Oh, this is Donald Trump has to stop telling people
00:33:44.480
that he almost had his head completely blown off. He has to stop talking about how he took a bullet
00:33:49.380
through the ear. Because, because what? Why don't you want us talking about that? It's pretty big news.
00:33:58.540
It's the biggest political news since 9-11, frankly. Why don't you want us talking about that?
00:34:04.680
Washington Post, liberal professors, kind of weird. Kind of weird, I would say.
00:34:11.060
Now, we do have some political news about the rest of the race. Bobby Kennedy Jr. has come out. He's
00:34:20.240
changed his view on how his supporters should play their hand from now until November. You know,
00:34:28.160
previously he said, if you're in a red or blue state where it's not going to matter, vote for me.
00:34:33.660
Now I'll get some delegates or I'll get some electors potentially. And who knows, maybe if it's a
00:34:40.460
contested election, it'll be thrown to the house and then maybe they'll pick me to be president. So
00:34:43.700
yeah, vote for me where it doesn't matter. But in the swing states, vote for Trump. He's changed that
00:34:47.980
view. He says, no, forget about that. Just vote for Trump.
00:34:51.240
Hey, everybody. A lot of people are asking me if they live in a red state or a blue state,
00:34:55.980
should they still be voting for me? What about swing states? The answer is easy. No. No matter what
00:35:02.880
state you live in, you should be voting for Donald Trump. And let me tell you why. That's the only way
00:35:08.120
that we can get me and everything I stand for into Washington, D.C. and fulfill the mission that
00:35:14.080
motivated my campaign. A disputed election result would be a disaster for our divided nation.
00:35:20.200
President Trump needs to win in a landslide, both in the Electoral College and in the popular vote.
00:35:25.860
He can't do that unless my supporters join him.
00:35:29.360
Okay. Good stuff. This is the right thing to do. You don't want there to be any question in the
00:35:38.420
minds of RFK Jr. supporters about who to vote for. And furthermore, you don't want to give fodder to
00:35:43.720
the Democrats who, if they do manage to lose the electoral vote, but win the popular vote, because
00:35:49.300
just New York and California alone would probably give them the popular vote. You don't want them to
00:35:53.220
do as they frequently do, try to change the rules willy-nilly and say, no, no, no. But if the
00:35:58.440
presidential election were conducted in some totally different way, then we would have won.
00:36:03.760
Which is a dubious claim anyway, because if the election were conducted by popular vote,
00:36:08.100
then the Republicans and Trump would campaign in New York and they would campaign in
00:36:12.340
California. They would campaign, they would win a lot of those popular, they probably would win the
00:36:16.480
popular vote. It's just a different, it would just be a different way to campaign. It'd be a
00:36:19.980
totally different race. So good stuff from Bobby Kennedy. Trump, for his part, has just come out.
00:36:25.460
It just broke yesterday, late afternoon. And he said, there will be no third debate. Why? Because
00:36:33.240
he says, this is on True Social, when a prize fighter loses a fight, the first words out of
00:36:36.840
his mouth are, I want a rematch. Polls clearly show that I won the debate against comrade Kamala Harris,
00:36:41.440
the Democrats' radical left candidate, on Tuesday night. And she immediately called for a second
00:36:45.180
debate. She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our country with millions of criminals and mentally
00:36:48.360
deranged people pouring into the USA, totally unchecked and unvetted, with inflation bankrupting our
00:36:52.980
middle class. Everyone knows this. It was discussed in great detail at the first debate with Joe and
00:36:57.360
the second debate with comrade Harris. She was a no-show at the Fox debate. She refused to do NBC
00:37:01.800
and CBS. Kamala should focus on what she should have done during the last almost four-year period.
00:37:06.720
There will be no third debate. That's that. I was in favor of another debate because I think Trump is
00:37:14.460
pretty good at it. I think Kamala is relatively bad at it. She's better than Biden because she has a pulse,
00:37:21.060
but she's not very good. She didn't provide substance. But Trump is claiming the win here.
00:37:26.840
And he's claiming it as a clean win. The pundits didn't think it was a win for Trump.
00:37:31.960
The political nerds didn't think it was a win for Trump. But then in the days that followed,
00:37:36.740
everyone from Fox News to the New York Times, to the liberal New York Times said actually
00:37:40.180
undecided voters, the people who are being, who are the target audience for these debates,
00:37:44.600
they're not convinced by Kamala. I have confidence in Trump that he would absolutely crush it
00:37:51.180
vis-a-vis Kamala at a third debate. But maybe it's a negotiation tactic. Maybe he's bluffing. But
00:37:58.400
as of now, he said what he said. The debate's over. No more inflection points. It must mean
00:38:04.460
that the Trump camp thinks the polls are trending in their direction and the momentum is on their side
00:38:10.240
and they're on a path to victory. Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed beef sold in U.S.

00:39:28.840
but I'm actually wanting some advice on how to avoid the slippery slope of becoming a liberal
00:39:34.880
feminist because I kind of feel like the Republican Party is constantly attacking women like me.
00:39:41.240
So I'm in my early 30s. I'm single. This is not by choice. This is certainly not how I envisioned my
00:39:47.380
life, but here I am. I'm just trying to make the best of it. I've had a very successful career that
00:39:53.240
honestly I'm very proud of, but I am so tired of conservative media putting down women like me
00:39:58.620
because I didn't ask for this. I'm tired of my family and friends asking me when I'm gonna get
00:40:04.160
a man, when I'm gonna get married, because all it's doing is putting salt in the wound, and now I find
00:40:10.320
myself owning this feminist narrative to defend myself and honestly make myself feel better. And
00:40:16.340
now I'm even tempted to vote for RFK Jr. just because J.D. Vance's comments really hurt me.
00:40:25.080
Totally fair. Many such cases, if it's any consolation, a lot of people are in your shoes.
00:40:31.600
And I agree with your point that the Republicans and the conservatives should not be mocking women
00:40:39.260
who find themselves in their 30s or 40s or whatever and life got away from them and they
00:40:46.020
believed a bunch of nonsense that they were taught from the minute they were in kindergarten
00:40:50.460
all the way up to present, that they should put off getting married, put off having kids,
00:40:54.040
just focus on a career, and then they come to regret that. That's a big social problem. And as you say,
00:41:00.100
a lot of women who are in this position, I know many of them actually, will say,
00:41:04.040
I didn't ask for this. Even liberal women. I know a lot of conservative women who have that feeling,
00:41:09.220
but a lot of liberal women too, will say, huh, this isn't so great. Wow, I actually, hmm.
00:41:13.540
They won't quite go so far as to say that the conservatives were right, you know, in pointing
00:41:17.800
this out. But they'll say, well, you know, I kind of regret this. And so you got to speak to people
00:41:24.880
where they are. Recognize this is a complex social problem that's been building for many, many decades,
00:41:30.360
especially beginning around the 1960s, though it has seeds earlier than that, with the explosion of
00:41:38.800
marriage in America because the libs changed the laws around divorce and they changed the culture
00:41:45.600
and the laws around weird sex stuff. And it resulted in a lot more babies being killed, a lot more
00:41:51.020
marriages ending in divorce, and many fewer marriages taking place anyway. I'm going to be speaking at the
00:41:57.060
Faith, Family, and Freedom event tonight in Texas. And I'll be talking about this very issue,
00:42:02.800
actually, because family's right there in the middle of it. So I agree. You know, with the JD
00:42:06.300
thing, I think it's been blown way out of proportion by the media. So if all you heard was some clip on
00:42:10.240
TV and you hear this constant drumbeat that JD Vance hates childless cat ladies or something,
00:42:15.480
you know, I guess you could believe that. But JD is not talking about women who have been
00:42:19.880
damaged by our liberal culture. He's talking about a type, you know, a kind of a caricature
00:42:24.400
of not your type, of the women who insist this is a good thing, who lead other women to a place that
00:42:34.980
involves a lot of unhappiness. So, you know, I get it. I mean, you know, today would JD have changed
00:42:42.220
the joke he told on some podcast or whatever? Like maybe, I guess he would have. But I just don't,
00:42:47.320
I don't think the way that's being presented by the establishment media for the purposes of this
00:42:51.400
election campaign are really reflective of what he believes or even has really said. You know,
00:42:56.900
no one is more pro-family and trying to, you know, change this awful liberal culture
00:43:01.720
than, than JD Vance in the Senate. So I'm with you. I feel you. The way politics is the art of
00:43:08.880
inclusion. And I think there are a lot of people right now who have been failed by liberal policies
00:43:13.600
and by liberal culture. And they're, they're ripe for the taking. If, if you can first convey to people
00:43:18.620
that you like them, you don't hate them. You know, you like them, you care about them. You want
00:43:24.100
them to have good lives and you want us all to have good lives. And that involves, uh, uh, reorienting
00:43:30.060
our politics toward the common good and into a place that is grounded in objective reality and
00:43:36.000
therefore will be more conducive to flourishing. I agree. Next one. Hey, Michael, uh, I've watched your
00:43:42.880
show for quite some time and have recently been converting to Catholicism because, well, I won't
00:43:49.160
get into that, but, um, one thing that I find difficult is forgiving myself, I guess. I've, um,
00:44:01.320
attempted suicide many times in the past and, um, just thinking about the way that affected the
00:44:09.000
people that care about me. And I just, I find it difficult to forgive myself. And lately I act as
00:44:19.020
though I don't deserve to exist. I spat in God's face and I guess I don't know how to overcome this.
00:44:27.980
Thanks. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Uh, the, the practical advice, especially you mentioned
00:44:35.160
when you're, uh, converting to Catholicism is, uh, confess your sins and trust in God's mercy.
00:44:45.520
It's simple, but it's not simplistic. You know, it's, that's how it works. You say, uh, you have
00:44:50.920
trouble forgiving yourself. You're falling into one of two errors that, that, uh, attend, uh, guilt and
00:44:57.920
shame, which is what some people fall into the error. Many people fall into the error of just
00:45:03.540
dulling their natural sense of shame and guilt at their own sins. And they say, oh no, I shouldn't
00:45:09.000
feel shameful, any shame or any guilt about that. No conscience. Shut up. I don't know. That's fine.
00:45:14.000
I can go do all those things. That's no big deal. And that, that kind of hardens you over time.
00:45:18.760
Uh, but then the flip side of that is a guilt and shame that, uh, will not accept God's, uh, mercy.
00:45:26.760
But you say, cause you say you spit in God's face. Yeah, you, yeah, you do. So do I, so do my
00:45:36.300
producers. So, so do all of us. We do that all the time. We, cause we sin and to sin is to spit
00:45:45.080
in God's face. You know, when you confess, you will say, you know, um, I detest my sins above all
00:45:51.240
things because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell. That's part of it. But most of all,
00:45:56.140
because they offend you, God, who are all good and deserving of all my love, but I don't give you
00:45:59.640
all my love. I think about myself very selfish all the time. And, uh, even the way you're speaking
00:46:04.720
now, you're saying it's, you know, I can't forgive myself. That's well, that, that is in itself is
00:46:08.420
selfish. You talk about, you've attempted this extraordinarily selfish act of suicide and that
00:46:14.540
that's hurt people around you. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. You've done very selfish, bad things
00:46:19.960
and God will forgive you. Isn't that great? You've done very, very bad things that nearly
00:46:27.100
killed you, but you survived. Isn't that great? Isn't that great? You know, the reaction to that
00:46:35.000
is, wow, you're right. I have done really horrible things. I, to bring up a little Shakespeare, I could
00:46:42.780
accuse myself of such things would be better. My mother had never born me, but even with all of that,
00:46:47.520
God will forgive me. If I am truly repentant, I'm really penitent. I confess my sins. God will
00:46:54.700
just forgive me. And I survived. You could have died. You could be dead right now, but you're not,
00:46:58.540
you're alive. That's a wonderful thing. You thank God for that. But don't, don't fall into the error
00:47:05.280
of, of recognizing the, the sin, you know, you're convicted of your sin and you're recognizing that
00:47:11.960
awful selfishness and then just turning it, translating it into another kind of selfishness.
00:47:17.520
You've been given a great gift. So just all you have to do is say thanks. Basically it's good.
00:47:26.020
Many of the greatest saints have done a lot of bad selfish things. It's not, it's not that they're
00:47:34.100
just made of better stuff, that the saints are made of better stuff than you and me. It's, it's God.
00:47:39.840
They got, they accept God's grace. It's not, they didn't, they didn't earn it, you know? So that's
00:47:46.180
good. It's good. You're in a, you can see more clearly the effect of sin. And as a result, you can
00:47:54.720
see more clearly the abundance of God's grace. That, that in itself is, that is a special kind of grace.
00:47:59.420
So you confess, you confess your sins. It has a psychological effect. It has a spiritual effect
00:48:04.260
too. And you rely on God's mercy. That's all we can do. Next question.
00:48:09.260
Hi, Michael. I'm preparing to propose to my girlfriend of 10 months. We've talked about
00:48:15.320
getting married in the past, so she knows it's coming, just not when or how. I designed her
00:48:20.160
engagement ring myself and I'm having it fabricated right now. I want to have the ring engraved on the
00:48:24.760
inside. Since our marriage is going to be founded on Christ, it seems only fitting that this engraving
00:48:29.680
should be a verse from Holy scripture rather than just our names and the year that we were married.
00:48:34.380
I'm having trouble deciding what verse to pick. I'm currently leaning towards John 13, 34, where
00:48:40.160
our Lord says, as I have loved you, so you must love one another. I believe this reiterates the
00:48:46.060
fact that the love we feel for each other is exemplary of the love that Christ has for us,
00:48:50.560
his church. That being said, I still haven't decided and wonder if you have any suggestions.
00:48:55.680
Looking forward to your thoughts. Sincerely, one of your confessional Lutheran listeners.
00:49:00.020
You want to hear a confession? This is a confession that will also speak to my
00:49:03.600
self-centeredness at some times. When I got my wedding ring and I ordered it online and it said,
00:49:11.400
would you like it to be engraved? And I said, oh yeah, sure. But then, I don't know, I thought of
00:49:15.340
it like my class ring or like, I don't know. And so I just put my name in it, like in case I lost it
00:49:20.880
or something. Someone would return it to its owner. And I mentioned this to sweet little Alise at one
00:49:24.780
point. She goes, Mag, you put your name in your wedding? What about my name? Mag, are you kidding me?
00:49:29.760
You know, I said, oh, right. I probably should have done it. But I like the idea of a reference
00:49:34.140
to scripture. That's good. The other thing you could do is, this is a little bit more
00:49:38.760
traditional, but I really like this tradition. You could do JMJ. That's good. You could do this
00:49:44.120
even, I saw, I met someone the other day who embroiders a shirt. Some people put their initials
00:49:47.980
on their dress shirts and he puts JMJ. His initials are not JMJ. Looks like initials, but it's the
00:49:53.000
initials of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I really like that. Very simple. And that's, you know,
00:49:58.000
it's, it's, uh, recalling the Holy family. It's, you know, it's tying your marriage to the Holy
00:50:04.360
family. And of course, to our Lord. And marriage is a symbol of Christ's love for his church. And
00:50:07.900
that pretty simple. So I like that. But the verse of scripture is good too. Just don't put your own
00:50:11.880
name in it because you will, your wife will be angry with you. Is your home's title still in your

Republicans are Nazis. You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. Growing up, I never
00:51:10.900
thought much about race. Never really seemed to matter that much. At least not to me. Am I racist? I
00:51:16.120
would really appreciate it if you love. I'm trying to learn. I'm on this journey. I'm going to sort
00:51:19.840
this out. I need to go deeper undercover. Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert. Here's my
00:51:28.840
certifications. What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. This is more
00:51:32.720
for you than this for you. Is America inherently racist? The word inherent is challenging there.
00:51:36.900
I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument. America is racist to
00:51:41.140
its bones. So inherently. Yeah, this country is a piece of...
00:51:43.840
White. Folks. White. Trash. White supremacy. White woman. White boy. Is there a black person
00:51:50.320
around here? What's a black person right here? Does he not exist? They don't say I'm racist.
00:51:54.560
Hi, Robin. Hi. What's your name? I'm Matt. I just had to ask who you are because you have to be
00:51:58.960
careful. Never be too careful. They gonna say you racist. Buy your tickets now in theaters September 13th.
