00:00:00.000 Is Kamala's running mate, Tim Walz, a tool of the Chinese Communist Party?
00:00:05.200 The House Oversight Committee, as well as a number of Department of Homeland Security officials, seem to think so.
00:00:12.920 I have a letter right here.
00:00:14.140 This is from the Oversight Committee to the Secretary of DHS, observing that the committee has conducted a government-wide investigation of how agencies are dealing with CCP infiltration.
00:00:25.720 During its briefings with over 20 federal agencies in its investigation, the committee has learned of the emphasis the CCP has placed on influencing subnational government leaders, including state governors.
00:00:37.880 Along those lines, the committee has recently received whistleblower disclosures informing the committee of serious concern among DHS personnel regarding a longstanding connection between the CCP and Minnesota Governor Timothy James Walz.
00:00:55.720 Specifically, and then it goes on to list all sorts of documents, classified and unclassified, that Walz is named in, asking for those documents, and says that it will continue to investigate.
00:01:07.080 This sounds far-fetched.
00:01:08.740 Until you learn that, in his own telling, Tim Walz has visited China some 30 times.
00:01:15.740 It sounds far-fetched until you remember that Democrats replaced their nominee after all the primaries because their old nominee, the current president, is senile.
00:01:26.900 And they weren't able to remove the Republican nominee from the ballot or imprison the Republican nominee or murder the Republican nominee, even though they tried twice.
00:01:35.760 And one time they got pretty close.
00:01:37.580 It all sounds far-fetched until you remember that this is the craziest election in American history.
00:01:43.380 And a Manchurian VP candidate from Minnesota would be par for the course.
00:01:48.640 Though we probably won't hear anything about it during the debate tonight because, much like in communist China, our establishment media are little more than propagandists for the increasingly absurd ruling class.
00:02:01.660 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:05.760 Welcome back to the show.
00:02:23.760 We have today a clip. It's resurfaced from a couple years ago in which Kamala Harris explains why white people should get less disaster relief than non-white people when things like hurricanes occur.
00:02:36.920 We'll get to that in one moment.
00:02:37.940 First, though, folks, right now, take out your wallets, take out your credit cards, and go to thecandleclub.com.
00:02:46.000 This is, look, I don't, you can give me your money, you can not give me your money, but what I'm telling you is you are going to want your home to smell like a beautiful autumnal apple orchard.
00:02:56.400 And if you want that to happen, you have to get the Michael Knowles candle at thecandleclub.com.
00:03:02.480 Our seasonal treat is the apple orchard.
00:03:05.500 There is also, of course, the perennial, albeit specifically seasonal treat, the pumpkin spice latte candle.
00:03:12.840 Mmm, it makes your home smell like a pair of Ugg boots and a North Face in the suburbs.
00:03:18.320 There is, of course, also the wise man candle, makes your home smell like an 11th century monastery.
00:03:24.520 There is also the old soul candle, the chem du la chem candle.
00:03:28.040 There is the Mayflower line of premium candles in beautiful colored glass jars.
00:03:33.580 You get it all at thecandleclub.com.
00:03:39.360 The fact that Kamala Harris can even pretend to be a serious presidential candidate shows you just how crazy our system has gotten.
00:03:49.620 Mike Cernovich made a great point yesterday on Twitter.
00:03:52.080 He pointed out that Mike Dukakis, running in 1992 against George H.W. Bush, Dukakis, I'm sorry, running in 1988 against George H.W. Bush.
00:04:02.780 Mike Dukakis was a pretty strong candidate who, as governor, let one guy, Willie Horton, out of prison for a weekend.
00:04:11.620 And Willie Horton went out and committed a crime.
00:04:15.200 And because of this, Mike Dukakis' entire campaign fell apart.
00:04:18.520 But Cernovich pointed out, compare that to today, you have a border czar and vice president, who is now the Democrat presidential nominee, who has, according to immigration and customs statistics, presided over some 13,000 murderers in the country, convicted murderers in the country, illegal aliens, had no right to be in the country in the first place.
00:04:47.540 And this is barely an election issue.
00:04:50.740 So the White House Press Secretary, Corrine Jean-Pierre, was asked about this shocking number, 13,000 convicted murderers in the country, illegally.
00:05:00.080 How on earth can this administration defend that?
00:05:02.920 Here is her response.
00:05:05.640 13,000 people who have been convicted of murder cross the border illegally and are living among us.
00:05:11.940 So how much danger are U.S. communities in right now because of this?
00:05:16.140 I'm assuming you're talking about the ICE data?
00:05:18.220 Yes.
00:05:18.620 So just a couple of things, and I think it's important to correct the record here.
00:05:23.160 First of all, the false representation of the data ICE shared.
00:05:30.680 So that was what we were seeing, false representation.
00:05:33.740 I've got to call that out.
00:05:34.900 We've got to call that out.
00:05:36.280 And it's been fact-checked by some of your colleagues here, by multiple outlets that has been debunked on what has been falsely misrepresented here.
00:05:48.900 So we have to call that out.
00:05:50.020 Can you clarify what the misrepresentation is?
00:05:55.640 The numbers that is being put out about how many people are out has been falsely represented here.
00:06:04.280 So hold on.
00:06:05.560 She goes on, but just quickly.
00:06:08.940 Hey, what about the 13,000 convicted murderers who you guys have let into the country?
00:06:13.800 Oh, you're probably talking about the ICE data, right?
00:06:16.980 The ICE data are data from the federal government.
00:06:21.300 So Karine Jean-Pierre can't deny the data because the data are coming out of her own administration, saying 13,000 convicted murderers have come into the country illegally, and the Biden administration is basically fine with it.
00:06:32.960 So then she says, yeah, well, the problem with those data is that they're fake.
00:06:38.880 They're being misrepresented.
00:06:40.740 They're being misrepresented.
00:06:42.180 They're being falsely represented.
00:06:43.440 Okay, and what's her evidence of this?
00:06:45.020 Well, because people have debunked them because of how falsely misrepresented they've become.
00:06:50.240 And so they're debunked, and they're totally debunked, and we're going to call it out, okay?
00:06:54.620 We're going to call it out because many people have debunked them.
00:06:57.860 So her argument is, these are data from the federal government, but don't believe them because they should not be believed.
00:07:06.240 And so Ducey rightly says, okay, well, how have they been misrepresented?
00:07:12.100 You're going to have to give me a little bit more than these are not the droids you're looking for.
00:07:16.080 Don't believe your lying eyes.
00:07:16.980 And she says, well, the numbers is, she actually says, the numbers is.
00:07:22.880 So not only does this woman not have a grasp on statistics, not only does this woman not have a grasp on crime data.
00:07:30.340 And I don't really even mean to call out this woman, just as she's calling out the supposedly misrepresented information.
00:07:37.600 She is representative of the whole administration.
00:07:40.520 She is the face of the whole administration.
00:07:42.020 Not only can she not process these numbers, she cannot speak the English language properly.
00:07:52.400 Her job, her whole job is to speak well and to persuasively articulate what the administration is doing.
00:08:06.560 She can't speak English properly.
00:08:10.740 You know who else can't speak English properly?
00:08:12.560 It's not just her.
00:08:13.140 I'm really not just beating up on her.
00:08:15.320 Kamala Harris.
00:08:16.580 Kamala Harris babbles like a new age woo-woo wine mom.
00:08:21.820 Talking about Venn diagrams and school buses and cackling when she, when words fail her, which is frequently.
00:08:27.840 You know who else can't speak the English language properly?
00:08:30.240 The president.
00:08:31.820 Joe Biden.
00:08:32.400 Remember him?
00:08:33.300 Joe Biden can't speak.
00:08:34.680 That's why when he engaged in a debate with Donald Trump, he ceased to be the Democrat nominee for president.
00:08:42.020 There's a line from the historian David McCullough.
00:08:44.500 He says to write well is to think clearly, which is why it's so hard.
00:08:49.440 We can extend that to speech more broadly.
00:08:52.080 To speak well is to think clearly.
00:08:54.020 That's why it's so hard.
00:08:55.220 These people can't speak well, not just because they flunked the third grade or something.
00:09:02.060 They can't speak well because they can't think clearly.
00:09:05.140 Because they have no answer.
00:09:06.780 Because even if Corrine Jean-Pierre were the most articulate woman in the entire world, she would not be able to defend what is indefensible.
00:09:14.880 And that is that the Biden-Harris administration have gleefully allowed 13,000 convicted murderers into the country.
00:09:25.040 Or tolerate, I should be even more precise, have tolerated the presence of 13,000 convicted murderers who have come into this country illegally.
00:09:33.300 And they've welcomed many, many more people, unvetted, to come into the country illegally.
00:09:39.040 Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed beef sold in U.S. grocery stores is imported?
00:09:44.220 That's why I buy all my meat from GoodRanchers.com instead.
00:09:47.880 Good Ranchers products are 100% born, raised, and harvested right here in the USA from local family farms.

00:09:57.800 Just one simple ingredient.
00:09:59.340 That's meat.
00:10:00.020 Best of all, Good Ranchers delivers straight to your door for added convenience.

00:10:11.380 That's $40 off and free meat for life with code DAILYWIRE.
00:10:14.700 Good Ranchers.
00:10:15.500 American meat delivered.
00:10:17.060 Corrine Jean-Pierre goes on.
00:10:18.320 If you look at the total returns and removal of the past year, that has been higher than every year under the previous administration since 2010, if you look at it.
00:10:30.160 And if we're going to report something, a data that's out there, we got to do it in a way that is not confusing the American people and certainly not lying.
00:10:42.020 Again, I really don't mean to be pedantic about this, but it is illustrative of the broader confusion of the administration.
00:10:48.940 She says, a data.
00:10:52.820 Data is a plural noun.
00:10:55.140 The singular of data is datum.
00:10:58.540 She says, if we're going to talk about a data, what is a data?
00:11:02.600 Because, because, don't forget, what's the point she's making?
00:11:04.900 We don't want to confuse the American people.
00:11:06.880 Are you more or less confused after hearing this woman ramble and try to evade the question?
00:11:15.500 And we certainly don't want to lie to the American people.
00:11:17.640 Well, you have certainly been lying to us the whole time.
00:11:20.420 You've told us you're going to enforce the law.
00:11:22.640 You're going to respect the law and the Constitution.
00:11:24.360 You're going to defend democracy.
00:11:26.040 And yet, you have consistently and intentionally undermined perhaps the most basic aspect of the law, which is the distinction between citizens and foreigners.
00:11:38.420 She finishes up.
00:11:40.120 And so, there has been, this has been fact-checked, been fact-checked.
00:11:44.720 And so, this is the way that is being falsely represented here is just not okay.
00:11:51.880 And they've got to be really clear about that.
00:11:54.360 Yeah, it's not okay.
00:11:56.020 We've got to be really clear.
00:11:56.900 That was so clear.
00:11:57.660 Notice the trick.
00:11:59.340 The trick is, Corrine Jean-Pierre comes out and has to answer for government data from ICE.
00:12:07.840 13,000 convicted murderers come into the country illegally.
00:12:11.180 And her response is, well, this, that claim has been fact-checked and debunked.
00:12:17.780 By whom?
00:12:18.560 If something is going to be fact-checked and debunked, it should be by her.
00:12:21.340 She's the spokesman for the administration.
00:12:22.980 She says, no, it's already been fact-checked and debunked.
00:12:24.900 By whom?
00:12:25.240 She's referring to the liberal media.
00:12:27.580 Then you go to the liberal media, you say, okay, how has this been fact-checked and debunked?
00:12:30.940 And they'll give you a little context maybe, but often they'll just point and they'll say, well, look at Corrine Jean-Pierre.
00:12:36.000 Look at the administration.
00:12:37.160 The administration actually says that it's been debunked and fact-checked.
00:12:41.840 By whom?
00:12:42.400 It's like an Ouroboros.
00:12:43.580 You know, it's a snake eating its own tail.
00:12:45.460 It's a totally circular argument.
00:12:47.240 I'll stop beating up on this press secretary.
00:12:52.660 After one final comparison, this administration in the greatest, strongest country on earth, freest country, most magnificent global hegemon country.
00:13:02.920 We have been so degraded, and this administration is an example of how degraded we have become, that the White House press secretary, in her response to pretty basic questions from the press, sounds almost exactly like Charlie Day from Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
00:13:22.720 Well, let's talk about the contract here.
00:13:24.880 Sorry, I forgot.
00:13:26.100 Where did you go to law school again?
00:13:27.920 Well, I could ask you that very same question.
00:13:29.360 I went to Harvard.
00:13:30.500 How about you?
00:13:33.480 I'm pleading the fifth, sir.
00:13:34.920 I'd advise that you do that.
00:13:36.180 And I'll take that advice into cooperation, all right?
00:13:39.020 Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victim.
00:13:42.440 The reason the murderers aren't in the country is because it's in numbers that have been falsely misrepresented by data that has filibuster bird law.
00:13:55.320 That's pretty much the response of the Biden-Harris administration, and it's basically the best response they could give.
00:14:01.520 President Trump, meanwhile, has made a great point, a very important point, about the meaning, the deeper political meaning of the intentional disaster that has occurred on Kamala Harris' watch at the southern border.
00:14:17.120 Millions and millions of people, 21 million plus, have been dumped into the United States, and many of them are murderers.
00:14:25.200 Many of them are horrible criminals.
00:14:28.100 There is no greater act of disloyalty than to extinguish the sovereignty of your own nation, and that's what she's done.
00:14:43.220 She's ruined our nation.
00:14:44.740 She's ruined our nation.
00:14:46.380 There is no greater act of disloyalty than to extinguish the sovereignty of your own nation.
00:14:53.720 That is 100% accurate.
00:14:58.100 That is 100% eloquent, pithy, and it is 100% precise.
00:15:05.420 Absolutely right.
00:15:07.420 And what is Trump including in that thesis, which is totally, unimpeachably correct?
00:15:13.920 He's saying Kamala Harris has power here.
00:15:19.960 She is the one in charge of the border.
00:15:22.540 That is true.
00:15:23.140 Joe Biden said that.
00:15:24.040 We have the White House transcript from 2021.
00:15:25.720 And the effect of her policies is to extinguish the sovereignty of our country.
00:15:30.800 That is also true.
00:15:31.880 When you welcome millions and millions of people into the country, and then you register them to vote in many cases, or at the very least, you put them on a pathway to citizenship.
00:15:40.860 You try to give them amnesty at the soonest possible moment, and then eventually give them rights to vote.
00:15:47.380 You are extinguishing the sovereignty of your country, the citizens of your country, who did not want any of that to happen, who are now having their votes watered down and nullified by the new people that you're flooding into the country.
00:16:02.660 That is exactly what Kamala Harris is doing.
00:16:05.160 You don't need to take my word for it.
00:16:06.940 You can hear Kamala in her own words not so long ago.
00:16:09.800 The idea that we would have a president of the United States that vilifies immigrants, that wants to build what I call his vanity project, a multi-billion dollar wall, which, by the way, will never get built, is un-American.
00:16:24.320 Deal with the problem.
00:16:25.360 We have 11 million people here who need a pathway to citizenship.
00:16:28.960 Be a leader on that.
00:16:29.800 But we're not going to get that out of this president.
00:16:32.000 What we're not going to get out of this president is someone who approaches people who are fleeing the murder capitals of the world and does what is reflective of American values, which is to understand the strength of our arms, to embrace people who are fleeing harm.
00:16:47.120 No, that's not what this president does.
00:16:49.060 They arrive at our border, and he says, go back to where you came from.
00:16:53.500 That is not reflective of the values of who we are as Americans.
00:16:56.960 And that's what informs my perspective on what he is doing on this issue and so many others.
00:17:01.460 Who are we?
00:17:02.120 Who are we then?
00:17:02.860 Kamala Harris makes no distinction between Americans and non-Americans, manifestly.
00:17:08.280 She says, we can't have a wall.
00:17:10.360 We can't have any mechanism to keep people out of the country when they're not supposed to be here.
00:17:13.980 And for the people who did make it in illegally, the many, many millions of people who have made it in illegally, we need to make them citizens.
00:17:20.580 And then she says, because that's who we are.
00:17:22.380 But then my question to her is, well, who are we?
00:17:24.640 You are saying that there is no distinction between us and everybody else.
00:17:30.320 There's no distinction between America and countries that are not America.
00:17:34.620 So then who are we?
00:17:36.020 What makes us distinctively American and so different than those other murder capitals of the world?
00:17:41.120 I look around America.
00:17:42.400 I see some potential murder capitals of the world springing up in our Democrat-led cities.
00:17:49.860 Who are we then?
00:17:50.960 The very fact that Kamala wants us to be some kind of special country that isn't allowed to enforce its own rules, isn't allowed to have its own identity, isn't allowed to be sovereign, to have its own sovereignty, is undermined.
00:18:06.940 The notion that America is distinct is undermined by the very policies she's advocating.
00:18:12.900 This is a major weakness for Kamala.
00:18:15.000 This is why she's changed her tune about it on the campaign trail.
00:18:18.660 In fact, you saw in a Kamala Harris campaign ad, she stole footage of Trump's wall, which she said will not be built, would be horrible if it would be built, and won't work anyway.
00:18:28.400 But now when she's running for re-election, she's, or is it re-election?
00:18:33.740 I guess she's sort of the incumbent, she's sort of not the incumbent.
00:18:36.120 But as she's running, she's stealing footage of Trump's wall because she knows walls are popular, people know that walls work, and people do want America to be sovereign.
00:18:45.920 And that woman has betrayed her country.
00:18:48.260 As vice president, certainly, as borders are certainly, and even before that, she has betrayed her country by undermining the sovereignty of her own country.
00:18:58.400 Meanwhile, President Trump has just met, speaking of foreigners, has just met with one of the most famous foreigners in the world, Vladimir Zelensky, the leader of Ukraine.
00:19:12.180 And the meeting was very good news for Donald Trump.
00:19:14.660 It was kind of funny to watch how unpleasant Zelensky found the whole affair.
00:19:20.300 There's so much more to say.
00:19:21.260 First, though, go to jeremysrazors.com.
00:19:25.040 Gentlemen, it's time to take a stand against the tide of mediocrity.

00:19:42.880 Are ambitions smooth?
00:19:43.920 I don't.
00:19:44.660 Anyway.
00:19:45.420 Reclaim your masculinity and show the world you won't be dulled by conformity.

00:20:14.860 I might be the last host at this company who shaves.
00:20:17.660 So, make sure you go to jeremysrazors.com today.
00:20:22.700 Then, while you're on the website, head on over to dailywire.com.
00:20:26.280 Then click on the watch page.
00:20:28.600 And then you click on my show.
00:20:30.020 It's right there.
00:20:30.820 Very easy to get to.
00:20:31.840 The Michael Knowles Show.
00:20:33.520 You click on that.
00:20:34.800 And then you click on, in the lower left corner, mailbag.
00:20:39.220 Send Michael a question.
00:20:40.400 You write it in.
00:20:41.300 You write in whatever your question is.
00:20:42.540 Keep it short, please.
00:20:43.340 People want to write me their whole life story.
00:20:45.000 We don't have time for that on the show.
00:20:45.960 Or, if you'd like, you can submit a voice mailbag question.
00:20:48.520 How do you do that?
00:20:49.060 You record a little voice memo on your phone, however you record your audio.
00:20:52.380 Please keep it to under a minute.
00:20:53.620 Please, people.
00:20:54.400 They want to go on two minutes, three minutes.
00:20:56.040 No, thank you.
00:20:56.620 Under a minute.
00:20:57.360 So, I can put it on the show.
00:20:58.620 Submit it.
00:20:59.900 And then I hope that we can get to it on Friday.
00:21:02.640 President Trump has just met with the leader of Ukraine, who was previously campaigning for Kamala Harris, practically, in Pennsylvania.
00:21:14.840 Well, Zelensky made a little time to meet with President Trump.
00:21:17.620 Here's what Trump had to say, standing shoulder to shoulder with the head of Ukraine.
00:21:21.480 He wants it to end, and he wants it to end as quickly as possible.
00:21:25.160 He wants a fair transaction to take place.
00:21:28.700 And I think, I mean, right now I'm campaigning.
00:21:32.000 So, right now I don't have much to do with it, other than we're doing very well in terms of the campaign.
00:21:37.680 And I've been saying that I believe if I win, we're going to have a very fair and, I think, actually rather rapid deal.
00:21:46.820 It should stop, and the president wants it to stop.
00:21:50.880 And I'm sure President Putin wants it to stop.
00:21:54.080 And that's a good combination.
00:21:55.820 So, we want to have a fair deal for everybody.
00:21:58.000 What do you envision as fair?
00:21:59.340 Well, it's too early to say that.
00:22:01.300 So, the most interesting thing about this clip, well, two things.
00:22:04.720 It's not even really what President Trump is saying, which is what he said the whole time about Ukraine.
00:22:09.980 Look, it wouldn't happen on my watch, but we're going to have a good deal.
00:22:13.100 It's going to be good for everyone.
00:22:14.140 It's the art of the deal.
00:22:15.340 The more interesting thing is to look at Zelensky's face.
00:22:19.020 From the moment Trump starts talking, Zelensky looks like Trump is just slowly strangling his puppy,
00:22:25.260 and there's nothing Zelensky can do about it.
00:22:28.300 That's what, this guy looks so resigned.
00:22:30.940 He looks so sad.
00:22:34.720 And crestfallen.
00:22:36.920 And why is he taking it?
00:22:39.740 Why is he standing there next to Trump?
00:22:41.220 This is the really good news for Trump.
00:22:44.100 Because Zelensky thinks there's a decent chance Trump gets elected.
00:22:48.780 That's why.
00:22:50.160 If Kamala were way up in the polls, Zelensky would still be out there campaigning for her in Pennsylvania.
00:22:55.440 Going to the munitions factories, looking a gift horse in the mouth.
00:22:59.340 He'd be riding high.
00:23:00.380 But he thinks that Trump might win, and so he's got to get on Trump's good side.
00:23:05.280 And even if that means that he's got to stand there while Trump talks about making a deal with Putin and winding down the war,
00:23:14.400 Zelensky's got to just stand there and take it.
00:23:17.480 Now, this is especially important as this horrific hurricane has just decimated towns in North Carolina, especially, but all over the southeast, including here in my state of Tennessee.
00:23:31.940 It's just been absolutely brutal.
00:23:33.600 People have observed that the Biden-Harris administration has done basically nothing about it.
00:23:39.300 It's totally MIA.
00:23:42.460 And some people have wondered, okay, if you could, if North Carolina were just, I don't know if it were North Ukraine, if East Tennessee were Eastern Ukraine, well, then you'd have billions and billions of dollars of support flooding in there.
00:23:56.300 But because it's just regular old American citizens, you don't hear much of anything at all.
00:24:02.560 Now, why is the federal response, why is the Biden-Harris response to this disaster that is unfolding in the southeast?
00:24:14.480 Why is it so weak?
00:24:17.660 Non-existent, it seems.
00:24:19.980 Kamala Harris explained why a couple years ago in a clip.
00:24:22.360 She explained why it's so important when we think about disaster relief to give less of it to white people than we give to non-white people.
00:24:31.560 It is our lowest-income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making.
00:24:47.040 And women, absolutely.
00:24:48.900 And so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out at the same place.
00:25:02.860 And if we want people to be in an equal place, sometimes we have to take into account those disparities and do that work.
00:25:09.980 Okay, a lot in there, a lot in Kamala's answer.
00:25:14.260 The first question, I was playing this clip yesterday, someone asked, hold on, what's the difference between equality and equity?
00:25:21.000 And the words really, you know, at a basic level mean the same thing, but the way that Kamala Harris is using them here, equality is a sort of classically liberal conception of equality.
00:25:31.440 You both start out in the same place.
00:25:33.040 As she points out, the reason we can't have that kind of equality is that we don't all start out in the same place.
00:25:37.000 And equity is communism, basically.
00:25:39.880 And it's not even communism in the sense that we all, you know, end up in exactly the same place.
00:25:46.280 No, in Kamala's version of it, some people are just going to be given preferential treatment based on their race or based on their party affiliation indefinitely.
00:25:54.060 But that's also how communism works in practice.
00:25:56.260 You know, everyone's equal, but some people are more equal than others.
00:25:58.420 So that's the difference.
00:25:59.600 Equality is a classical liberalism, and as she's describing it, it's a classical liberalism, and equity is communism.
00:26:08.360 However, the deeper thing she's saying here is we're going to give more money to deal with environmental challenges, be they quotidian challenges, be they particular weather events.
00:26:20.180 We're going to give more money to non-white people than we are to white people.
00:26:24.880 The non-white people are more deserving.
00:26:26.420 The white people don't really deserve much of anything at all.
00:26:28.940 And not only is this what Kamala Harris thinks, this is how the system works.
00:26:36.680 It's not just about Kamala or just about Biden.
00:26:39.440 This is actually how the system works.
00:26:42.380 You remember when Hurricane Katrina happened, now, what is it, almost 20 years ago?
00:26:45.940 You know, this was the dominant news story nationally and maybe internationally for weeks and weeks and weeks.
00:26:53.800 You had the biggest stars in the world saying that George Bush, the president, doesn't care about black people, even though you had, you know, disaster relief all around Hurricane Katrina, all around New Orleans.
00:27:05.760 There were all of these criticisms made about the weaknesses of the disaster relief.
00:27:10.680 This was a major racial issue.
00:27:13.140 We're still talking about Hurricane Katrina.
00:27:16.280 This hurricane just happened to white people in North Carolina, in eastern Tennessee and around the southeast.
00:27:21.800 This hurricane just happened to them and nobody's talking about it.
00:27:25.140 You hear a little bit about it on some of the conservative shows, maybe on this show.
00:27:30.380 You hear maybe a mention of it in the establishment media.
00:27:33.640 But it's nothing like it's totally incomparable to the response we saw to Hurricane Katrina because Hurricane Katrina affected black people.
00:27:43.700 And this also affected some black people, but this hurricane largely affected white people.
00:27:49.400 And Kamala Harris is telling you in her own words, it matters more when weather events affect non-white people than when they affect white people.
00:27:57.760 We should care more about the non-white people.
00:28:01.400 We should care less about the white people.
00:28:04.060 That's why.
00:28:04.500 So you don't need to take my word for it.
00:28:06.200 I don't think, I'm not big into spinning all sorts of conspiracies, but I am willing to listen to what the Democrat nominee for president is saying.
00:28:15.480 And she didn't even say this all that long ago.
00:28:17.060 And you are seeing that playing out in the establishment media because the establishment media are nothing but the propaganda wing for the liberal establishment.
00:28:26.540 That's their relation to the Democrat Party and to Kamala Harris, who's the nominee.
00:28:31.960 And you might say that part of the reason we don't really see much disaster relief for the people affected by this awful hurricane is because we don't really have a president right now.
00:28:41.380 Kamala's off campaigning and Joe Biden has no idea what day it is.
00:28:45.500 The most embarrassing clip of the day, I'm sure there will be another one soon enough, is President Biden being asked his opinion about the Israeli strikes in Yemen.
00:28:59.720 And here is his response to the Israeli strikes in Yemen.
00:29:03.820 Mr. President, will you deploy more U.S. troops to the Middle East?
00:29:09.580 Mr. President, has Netanyahu gone too far?
00:29:12.520 Well, any comment on the strikes in Yemen, Mr. President?
00:29:19.440 Go for the post-site, I've got seven strikes.
00:29:23.380 Support the collective bargaining effort, I think they'll send them a strike.
00:29:30.900 I'm almost left speechless by that response.
00:29:35.000 What's your response to the strikes in Yemen?
00:29:37.600 I think the longshoremen are going to get on okay if they just negotiate better.
00:29:43.880 And then the both sides, he thinks he's sitting through talking about the port workers' strike.
00:29:48.720 The longshoremen labor strike on the East Coast and in the Gulf.
00:29:55.340 He's confusing the Gulfs.
00:29:57.300 He's talking about the Gulf of Mexico outside of Florida instead of the Persian Gulf.
00:30:01.460 This is pretty weak, man.
00:30:07.320 And this is why Bibi Netanyahu is going hog wild on Israel's enemies.
00:30:13.360 This is why the story just broke yesterday.
00:30:16.180 Israel has launched a ground invasion into Lebanon.
00:30:20.020 You know, a lot of the big Israel critics have been wrong at pretty much every stage of the war.
00:30:28.720 Said they won't go into Gaza.
00:30:29.760 Israel won't go into Gaza.
00:30:30.860 Israel goes into Gaza.
00:30:31.900 Israel won't go into southern Lebanon.
00:30:33.840 No, they're just trying to scare them by blowing up the pagers and blowing their crotches off.
00:30:37.580 And, you know, blowing up the beepers.
00:30:39.140 And then hitting the airstrikes.
00:30:40.240 And then taking out the head of not only Hamas, but then taking out the head of Hezbollah just a few days ago.
00:30:45.520 And then what happened last night?
00:30:46.620 They also invaded southern Lebanon.
00:30:48.500 Why is this happening now?
00:30:51.660 It's happening now in part because there is effectively no American president.
00:30:57.320 So Netanyahu has a little more free reign to do whatever he wants.
00:31:01.800 And Netanyahu feels that the U.S. can't be counted on to back up Israel.
00:31:07.520 So Israel's just going to do it itself.
00:31:08.800 Now, I've pointed out that the American interest in the Middle East is not to have escalation that leads to a major regional war.
00:31:19.560 And that's always been the risk of Israel prolonging its response to the October 7th massacre by Hamas.
00:31:26.720 Now we're coming up on almost a year.
00:31:28.320 And I'll be speaking at UC Berkeley.
00:31:29.300 I'll be speaking on the one-year anniversary, which is an important date in many other ways, too.
00:31:33.660 I'll be speaking about wars in the Middle East and the Crusades and should be a fun time over at UC Berkeley.
00:31:39.500 However, Netanyahu, you'll notice, has done a pretty good job at it.
00:31:45.780 I think even, I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day, who's fairly critical of Israel, who's a little skeptical of Mr. Netanyahu, who said, you know, the guy's very impressive.
00:31:56.340 No matter how skeptical you are of Israel and the Israeli foreign policy, no matter what trepidation you have about America getting pulled into a war, which I certainly do share, this guy's done a pretty good job.
00:32:07.380 He's gone in, he's completely decimated Hamas.
00:32:10.180 He's then gone in and completely decimated Iran's other proxy that attacks Israel, Hezbollah.
00:32:17.020 He's severely weakened Iran itself.
00:32:20.880 I don't know, the guy's doing a pretty good job.
00:32:22.860 Now, regardless of what you think about that war, however, there is this strange paradox, which I keep pointing out.
00:32:30.580 And it shows you, again, we were talking about in the early part of the show, how extraordinarily complex and bizarre this election is.
00:32:40.180 So, anytime Israel is in the news, that is good for the Republicans.
00:32:46.160 So, if this war escalates, that's probably bad for America, but it's especially bad for Joe Biden because he's holding the bag, which means it's bad for Kamala Harris because Israel's a wedge issue for the Democrats, which means it's good for Donald Trump, which means it's more likely to get him elected.
00:33:00.820 Which means it's good for America.
00:33:02.860 And by the way, while Biden is not interfering in the Middle East and sending things to hell in a handbasket after President Trump established relative peace in the Middle East with the Abraham Accords.
00:33:12.640 While he's doing that, Bibi Netanyahu's settling score is doing it pretty effectively.
00:33:16.400 Unfortunately, all in all, I think this is pretty good, but it's complicated.
00:33:22.860 I'm not denying it's complicated.
00:33:24.300 We are going to hear, probably we won't even hear this tonight at the vice presidential debate because the moderators are going to try to avoid the topic of Israel as best they can because it hurts the Democrats.
00:33:33.740 They're going to try to avoid Tim Walz's apparent connections to the Chinese Communist Party as best they can.
00:33:39.000 And maybe J.D. Vance will bring it up.
00:33:41.280 The VP debate is tonight.
00:33:43.440 We are hosting a special backstage with pre-show analysis from Benchborough, Matt Walsh, Andrew Klavan, Jeremy Boring, and I would say most importantly, yours truly.
00:33:51.800 Stick around for a post-debate breakdown with insights you will not hear anywhere else.
00:33:55.060 The VP debate is tonight, 8.30 p.m. Eastern on Daily Wire+.

00:34:07.680 Okay, my favorite comment yesterday is from Mrs. Nichols Porvita, says,
00:34:14.260 Please come to Berkeley, Michael.
00:34:15.580 I would love to see you speak about the Crusades or anything for that matter.
00:34:18.980 Yeah, well, it'll be happening next week.
00:34:20.460 I guess the most liberal school in the country, probably.
00:34:22.720 I will be there on, what is it?
00:34:24.640 I guess it's on Monday, October 7th.
00:34:26.840 So if you are at UC Berkeley, get your ticket.
00:34:29.940 You can go to yaf.org.
00:34:31.260 I think they've got the information there.
00:34:32.720 If you are just in the area, if you're around San Francisco or wherever, it's open to the public.
00:34:36.760 So just go get your ticket.
00:34:38.260 It should be a lot of fun.
00:34:39.780 And we will be discussing an extraordinarily misunderstood historical event, the Crusades.
00:34:47.120 And the misunderstanding about that event is why we're very confused about a lot of things, especially in the Holy Land today.
00:34:53.840 Now, speaking of politics, speaking of education, like over at Berkeley, there's a viral graph that is showing something probably many of us have seen anecdotally.
00:35:11.680 These data come from the perception gap.
00:35:18.500 You can pour through the broader study if you like.
00:35:21.700 But the gap shows that Democrats have fewer Republican friends as they get more education credentials.
00:35:30.640 Whereas Republicans pretty much keep the same number of Democrat friends, whether they are grade school educated or whether they have PhDs.
00:35:43.300 The x-axis is less educated to more educated.
00:35:47.340 Now, this is a little imprecise because holding a bachelor's degree or a master's degree or even a PhD today does not necessarily imply that one is more educated or better educated.
00:35:58.840 But it shows you've got more credentials.
00:36:00.720 The y-axis is percent of people saying almost all of my friends hold the same political views.
00:36:09.840 What does this show?
00:36:12.400 It shows that libs are more exclusionary.
00:36:17.340 I've even seen this with friends of mine who are very liberal, but, you know, in high school, they don't really care.
00:36:21.780 They're friends with Republicans.
00:36:23.000 And then, but as they start to go on, especially if they go to graduate school, they just will cease to be friends with Republicans.
00:36:28.320 I've seen it happen with my own two eyes.
00:36:32.460 They're more exclusionary.
00:36:34.220 They don't, they're less open-minded, which is ironic because they pretend that they're very open-minded.
00:36:37.800 But also the other thing that this shows is just a raw political fact, which is that the left dominates universities and the professional careers.
00:36:47.980 That's really what it's about.
00:36:49.940 Because you, you become friends, usually just with the people around you.
00:36:54.760 There's three kinds of friendship, friendship of pleasure, you know, like hobbies, friendship of utility, like networking, and then friendship of the good, a virtuous friendship.
00:37:04.500 And virtuous friendship is not really predicated on geographic proximity or, you know, having lunch together or something.
00:37:12.540 But the other two kinds, which are much more prominent in our age, which mocks the very concept of virtue and classical philosophy, those are dependent on where you are.
00:37:23.080 And so the left dominates the universities and the professional careers.
00:37:27.340 So it's no surprise.
00:37:28.060 If you're a Republican, you end up in some lib school, which is statistically most of the universities.
00:37:32.100 If you're going to have friends at all, a greater percentage of your friends are going to be of a different political persuasion.
00:37:39.620 If you go and work at Deloitte or you go work at Goldman Sachs or something, just necessarily, if you're going to have friends at all, a greater percentage of your friends are going to have a different political view than you.
00:37:51.180 Because those places, the universities are, what, 90% plus left wing, and the professions are probably about the same, Democrat versus Republican.
00:38:03.280 So that's really, it shows you just a cold, hard political fact.
00:38:07.860 Yes, the libs are closed-minded.
00:38:09.500 Yes, the libs are prejudiced and in a bad way.
00:38:13.440 They're bigoted in a really nasty way and everything.
00:38:15.620 But it's also, they just have political power.
00:38:17.680 And so maybe this should inspire Republicans to, not just to wag our fingers and say, you guys are closed-minded.
00:38:23.760 You need to be more open-minded.
00:38:25.300 But maybe it should inspire Republicans to attain power in those places where the Democrats start to become exclusionary.
00:38:35.440 It looks like it's right after high school.
00:38:37.080 You can't quite tell on the less to more educated axis of the graph.
00:38:39.660 But it looks like right around high school, right when the libs start to, the libs don't control every high school in the country.
00:38:44.060 Right around high school, starting in the universities and the professions, that's where they start to get their power.
00:38:48.300 So maybe we should take some power back there as well.
00:38:50.640 You want to talk about the bubble of the credentialed liberal class.
00:38:54.800 An editor of Mother Jones, a very left-wing magazine, has just gone viral.
00:38:59.200 This woman, Clara Jeffrey, because of a harrowing experience she apparently had on an Alaska Airlines flight.
00:39:05.640 Her words, creeping Christian nationalism alert, Alaska air flight attendant, just wished us a blessed night as we landed in San Francisco to groans.
00:39:20.380 Other adjectives that would have sufficed, great, awesome, fabulous, amazing, fantastic.
00:39:27.660 As my roommate said, this ain't Montgomery, sweetie.
00:39:33.400 Can you imagine that woman, this creeping Christian nationalist, this woman wished people a blessed night.
00:39:43.900 I hope for this Mother Jones editor's sake that she never sneezes.
00:39:50.140 Can you imagine how horrified she would be?
00:39:52.620 Could be the case that multiple people around her would have the audacity to say, God bless you.
00:40:00.860 Could you imagine?
00:40:02.940 What's funny is she doesn't know the meaning of some of these words too, like awesome.
00:40:06.940 But awesome comes from the same word as awful.
00:40:09.740 It refers to awe.
00:40:11.060 Awe, which relates to holy fear.
00:40:15.080 The sublime.
00:40:19.060 God is awesome, right?
00:40:20.760 You know, he's the most awesome, you would say.
00:40:25.080 This woman is allergic, speaking of sneezes, to anything even touching on religion.
00:40:34.620 It's kind of like, it's the bell curve meme.
00:40:36.900 It's the IQ bell curve meme.
00:40:38.440 Where the really dumb drooling guy and the really smart Jedi guy think the same thing.
00:40:43.320 And it's the midwit in the middle who makes it too complicated.
00:40:45.840 The drooling dumb guy is going to say, oh duh, kind of seems like these people hate God.
00:40:53.540 And then the midwit is going to explain, no, but actually it has to do with an understanding and a developing conception of the separation of church and state.
00:40:59.940 And the pluralism that is so important to our democratic society where you can't preserve the people of the separatist.
00:41:04.880 But then the smart guy at the end, he just said, yeah, they hate God.
00:41:10.540 That's really what it is.
00:41:11.420 They hate God.
00:41:12.300 And they hate God because they themselves want to be gods.
00:41:15.280 And they want to control everything around them.
00:41:16.980 And they want to be totally sovereign.
00:41:18.160 And they want to be immortal.
00:41:19.280 And they want to be gods.
00:41:20.420 And this is the kind of thing that has been nagging at human nature since Eve reached for that apple in the Garden of Eden.
00:41:27.780 And it's been a problem ever since.
00:41:30.780 It's our pride.
00:41:32.040 And it goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.
00:41:38.240 Bless her heart.
00:41:39.640 Bless that woman's heart.
00:41:40.980 Now, speaking of lunatics, one last little bit before we go.
00:41:44.500 A clip has gone.
00:41:45.300 I don't even know if this event occurred recently again.
00:41:48.920 It occurs pretty regularly.
00:41:51.120 So, you know, it's a perennial news story.
00:41:53.560 But Just Stop Oil, this radical environmentalist group, has gone viral again for throwing soup on a Van Gogh painting.
00:42:02.900 And they seem to target Van Gogh with some frequency.
00:42:06.500 But here's what's interesting is not what they have done, which they've done many, many times and will continue to do many times in the future.
00:42:13.840 It's how the crowd in the museum reacts.
00:42:18.920 So you hear the crowd yelling.
00:42:48.140 What are you doing?
00:42:48.800 What's wrong with you people?
00:42:49.700 Now, in an earlier age, I think a more civilized age, those vandals would have been tackled as they were attempting to destroy beautiful art.
00:42:59.060 But at least the crowd is expressing its disapproval.
00:43:01.700 It doesn't like this.
00:43:02.960 So it comes down to a basic question of what kind of freedom we're going to have.
00:43:06.240 Are we going to protect the freedom of lunatics to destroy beautiful things?
00:43:11.360 Or are we going to protect the freedom of people to preserve beautiful things?
00:43:15.660 That's really the question of freedom.
00:43:17.120 And even as we're thinking about holy war, war in the Middle East, I think we oversimplify things.
00:43:23.680 And the modern historical approach is to say it's all about money.
00:43:26.760 It's all just about money and plunder and land and stuff.
00:43:31.180 And that's what motivated the crusaders.
00:43:33.080 It's what motivated the founding of the state of Israel.
00:43:36.140 That's what motivates whichever side.
00:43:38.300 Even sometimes people on the right will say that's what's motivating Iran or that's what's motivating this side or that side.
00:43:42.240 But people, believe it or not, are motivated by more than money.
00:43:47.100 In an age that doesn't take religion seriously, we don't really believe that anymore.
00:43:50.500 But in this way, the Just Stop Whale people can be instructive.
00:43:53.940 Because these people are going to jail.
00:43:55.420 They're going to lose money.
00:43:56.600 They're going to lose their resources for a cause that they believe in, that is not material,
00:44:02.080 that they think is about really saving the whole world.
00:44:06.460 People really can be motivated.
00:44:08.200 We don't understand it anymore because we've ignored true religion.
00:44:11.380 But, you know, nature, of course, a vacuum.
00:44:14.760 Man's a religious creature.
00:44:15.880 So some kind of religion, true or false, is going to come in its place.
00:44:20.120 People really can be motivated by things that are immaterial, even if they're quite false,
00:44:27.080 and compromise all of our freedom and our flourishing.
