The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1662 - Karoline Leavitt’s Glorious First Press Beating

00:00:00.000 White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt brutalized the press during her first appearance 1.00

00:00:04.540 in the briefing room. President Trump banned transing the kids, and hundreds of thousands

00:00:10.260 of federal bureaucrats might soon choose to self-deport from Washington. The winds are coming

00:00:16.440 in so fast, I almost cannot keep up. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:00:30.000 Welcome back to the show. Illegal aliens are protesting ice deportations in Dallas

00:00:44.880 by flying foreign flags. Probably not the best look. Kind of undermining their argument, I think.

00:00:52.360 Also, folks, I have a gift for you because the winds are coming in so fast that even my most

00:00:58.500 black-pilled doom and gloom friends are excited by what's going on. And I feel a little bit bad

00:01:05.360 because during Black Friday and Christmas, I was not in stock on my favorite Mayflower lighter,

00:01:10.820 which is the Zykar single flame lighter. It's got the Mayflower logo on the front,

00:01:15.100 Mayflower in the cool font written on the back. So there you go. It's very cool,

00:01:18.520 especially good for touch-ups on your cigars. So for the next 48 hours, don't say I never did

00:01:23.320 nothing for you. I will be running a very quick sale on the Mayflower Linnea torch lighter by Zykar.

00:01:32.520 Little way for me to say to all of our fans of Mayflower that I'm sorry we didn't have it in time.

00:01:38.420 Single flame, dependable ignition, easy adjustments, really easy adjustments down here. Zykar,

00:01:43.960 you can't beat it. This is my kind of lighter. And I'm going to use this lighter to light my

00:01:49.060 delicious Michael Knowles candle. This is the PSL candle available at thecandleclub.com. So if you

00:01:56.640 want to get the lighter, you know where to go. You must be 21 years old or older. Some exclusions

00:02:01.720 apply. Mayflowercigars.com. Caroline Levitt. I'm going to put my lighter over here. I'm getting so

00:02:10.720 excited. The table's shaking. Caroline Levitt just had her first press beating yesterday. Sorry,

00:02:16.160 press briefing. I guess it's good. It seemed more like a vicious beating of the establishment media.

00:02:21.240 A huge change from Corrine Jean-Pierre, who'd had the job before. The first announcement that came

00:02:28.720 from the podium was something that I had been advocating for for a while and other people had

00:02:34.300 been talking about. And I think we actually broke the news on Don Jr.'s show. And that is that

00:02:38.820 following the 2024 election, which the New York Times and the Washington Post called the podcast election,

00:02:44.760 following this big shift, not just in the voting habits of Americans, but in the media consumption

00:02:51.520 habits of Americans, the establishment media were going to be taken down a notch and the new media

00:02:56.820 were going to be given a seat at the table. We're also opening up this briefing room to new media

00:03:03.180 voices who produce news-related content and whose outlet is not already represented by one of the seats

00:03:09.480 in this room. We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers, and content

00:03:16.520 creators to apply for credentials to cover this White House. And you can apply now on our new website,

00:03:23.300 whitehouse.gov slash new media. Starting today, this seat in the front of the room, which is usually

00:03:32.320 occupied by the press secretary staff, will be called the new media seat. My team will review the

00:03:38.920 applications and give credentials to new media applicants who meet our criteria and pass United

00:03:43.740 States Secret Service requirements to enter the White House complex. This is really beautiful stuff.

00:03:49.820 I even love that that seat, that new media seat, is right up there at the front of the room. This is

00:03:55.880 going to send a message to some of the people in the establishment media. Maybe it's worth even

00:04:01.080 considering removing some of their seats if the establishment media don't start reporting the news

00:04:06.500 news, honestly. Because in the old days, you'd say, look, the establishment media lie, but they got

00:04:12.220 the eyeballs. That's where the audiences are. And the purpose of the briefing room is to communicate

00:04:16.260 what's going on at the White House to the American people. And the media, that is to say the plural of

00:04:20.160 medium, in between the two, it's the establishment press. That's not really true anymore. The establishment

00:04:26.320 press are having a really hard time getting eyeballs. CNN seems to be in freefall right now.

00:04:31.200 MSNBC being spun off. The New York Times, the Washington Post, really struggling to adapt.

00:04:37.800 So right now, we've got the carrot for the new media. Depending on how things start going,

00:04:43.520 maybe we'll get the stick for the old media, too. Just bop them right on the top of the head.

00:04:47.520 So then we get into the issues. And the establishment media come back at Caroline with a rejoinder

00:04:57.100 to the immigration conversation that you often hear from liberals. They'll say, why are you focusing on

00:05:04.100 the illegal aliens from Latin America who are crossing the border? You know, these poor dreamers 1.00

00:05:10.200 and refugees seeking a better life. Actually, don't you know, so much of our problem of illegal 1.00

00:05:16.320 aliens in the country is just people overstaying their visas. Why are you focusing on the border

00:05:22.100 jumpers? And here is Caroline Levitt's perfect answer. Happens to those who've overstayed their

00:05:28.260 visas. That is part of the broken immigration system. In 2023, there was a report by the Biden

00:05:33.700 administration, the Homeland Security Department, that said overstays a visa for three times more

00:05:38.420 than usual. Will there be a focus on the overstays for visas as well? If an individual is overstaying

00:05:44.120 their visa, they are therefore an illegal immigrant residing in this country and they are subject to 0.95

00:05:48.900 deportation. Love it. Simple. I think usually I don't know what that reporter was thinking, but usually when

00:05:55.380 people bring up that question, it is as if to imply that we should not deport people or should not focus

00:06:02.860 so much on deporting people who are hopping the border because the real crisis of illegal immigration

00:06:07.600 are the people who overstay their visas. But Caroline's answer here is, oh, yeah, no, we're going to deport

00:06:12.720 them, too. Oh, you're right. Thanks for reminding me. I'm going to add that to my list. Yeah. OK, so we're

00:06:18.220 definitely going to keep deporting all those border crossers, but let's also deport the people who overstay 1.00

00:06:22.940 their visas when they fly into this country and land at JFK. Great idea. Then the highlight of the conference

00:06:28.920 yesterday had to do with foreign affairs. It was part and parcel of President Trump's freeze on a lot of

00:06:37.080 federal spending. And this spending that they focused on specifically had to do with the Middle East,

00:06:43.980 specifically with Gaza, specifically with how many condoms you are paying for in Gaza.

00:06:52.440 Just during this pause, Doge and OMB have actually found that there was $37 million that was about to

00:06:59.600 go out the door to the World Health Organization, which is an organization, as you all know, that

00:07:05.100 President Trump, with the swipe of his pen in that executive order, is no longer wants the United States

00:07:09.900 to be a part of. So that wouldn't be in line with the president's agenda. Doge and OMB also found that

00:07:15.060 there was about to be $50 million taxpayer dollars that went out the door to fund condoms in Gaza.

00:07:20.900 That is a preposterous waste of taxpayer money. So that's what this pause is focused on,

00:07:26.160 being good stewards of tax dollars. $50 million to fund condoms in Gaza.

00:07:32.440 You know, I'm a Catholic. I don't want us to fund condoms in America. Why are we funding condoms

00:07:39.140 in Gaza to the tune of $50 million? Also, I thought we were told that what's going on in

00:07:44.120 Gaza is a humanitarian disaster, one of the worst we've ever seen. Condoms is the number one thing

00:07:50.000 they need. Not food, water, condoms, huh? Totally insane. And this is the kind of specificity that we

00:07:58.960 need really good stuff from the press secretary. This is what we need from the whole Trump

00:08:04.200 administration. And I think we're getting it. We need specificity. We need to paint a picture.

00:08:09.520 This was the point I made yesterday on the show. President Trump's persistent focus on face tattoos.

00:08:15.920 I myself have been focusing on the face tattoos of the illegal aliens for many months now. And the 1.00

00:08:20.680 reason for that is, one, it conveys the truth. But two, it paints a picture of reality. The libs want

00:08:27.020 to pretend that illegal immigration is about doe-eyed little dreamers and sweet little abuelas

00:08:31.560 making paella who are being ripped out of their homes by mean, cruel ICE agents. That's not what's

00:08:37.000 going on. What's going on is that Mexican gangsters who worship Satan in MS-13 with face tattoos, 0.99

00:08:46.020 who rape women, who traffic women, who poison Americans with fentanyl, who murder people, 0.99

00:08:51.120 who do all sorts of crazy, crazy evil stuff, they are being arrested and deported. That's real 0.98

00:08:57.300 illegal immigration, okay? That's real Tom Homan deportation ICE enforcement. It's the face

00:09:04.220 tattooed monsters. And the same thing is true here. When we're talking about cutting federal

00:09:07.980 spending, the libs want to say, well, you're going to cut terminally ill children's Medicaid funding

00:09:15.140 and poor old widows are not going to be able to eat anymore because of Donald Trump. And none of 1.00

00:09:21.040 that is true. You know the kind of funding that Trump is cutting? $50 million worth of condoms in

00:09:26.740 Gaza. That's what he's cutting, okay? And so the specificity is the key here. People cannot really

00:09:31.800 conceptualize abstract numbers. Most people can't really fathom the difference between a million

00:09:37.640 and a billion and a trillion. Orders of magnitude just elude us. It's difficult in our finite brains.

00:09:43.400 But we sure can picture condoms in the Middle East, okay? In the war zone, the worst supposed

00:09:49.400 humanitarian crisis ever. We can picture that kind of frivolous, wasteful spending. That's where the

00:09:54.780 focus has to be. Caroline Levitt obviously has this lesson in spades. I think President Trump 1.00

00:09:59.480 obviously has it in spades. The whole administration really doing an excellent job communicating.

00:10:34.920 Beyond the great press beating that took place yesterday, President Trump also, with the stroke

00:10:42.240 of his pen, banned transing the kids. This is something we on the right have been talking about

00:10:50.440 and advocating for ad nauseum for many years. My very first speaking tour, it was my first,

00:10:58.820 might have been my second, but it was years and years ago, 2017, 2018, was called Men Are Not Women

00:11:04.460 and Other Uncomfortable Truths. That was one of my first two YAF speaking tours. I was not the

00:11:11.280 first conservative to talk about it. Then what, a year or two later, Matt had that major movie,

00:11:15.880 one of the biggest documentaries ever, What is a Woman? Then we've had all of these

00:11:21.480 hyper-focused campaigns just saying, this is evil. The castration of kids, the transing, 1.00

00:11:28.900 it's insane. It's contrary to human nature. We got to stop it. And no one would stop it.

00:11:34.560 Certainly not at the federal level until yesterday. Quote, today, it was my great honor,

00:11:38.560 writes President Trump, to sign an executive order banning the chemical castration and medical

00:11:43.400 mutilation of innocent children in the United States of America. Our nation will no longer fund,

00:11:48.420 sponsor, promote, assist, or support so-called gender-affirming care,

00:11:51.100 which has already ruined far too many precious lives. My order directs agencies to use every

00:11:57.840 available means to cut off federal financial participation in institutions which seek to

00:12:02.160 provide these barbaric medical procedures that should never have been allowed to take place.

00:12:07.920 This is really, really great. There's a little ambiguity here, though, because at the top, he says,

00:12:14.560 we're going to ban the chemical castration and medical mutilation of innocent children. But then in the

00:12:20.500 next sentence, our nation will no longer support so-called, quote, gender-affirming care.

00:12:26.160 But gender-affirming care, so-called, which is just mutilation and cross-sex hormones and is just 0.88

00:12:32.520 this way to turn people into grotesque caricatures of the opposite sex without any scientific or

00:12:38.780 certainly without any philosophic or anthropological justification. That occurs for all ages.

00:12:44.580 Gender-affirming care could be given to an eight-year-old just as well as to an 80-year-old.

00:12:51.240 President Trump in the first place says, we're going to stop doing it to little kids. But the

00:12:54.000 second place says, we're not going to do gender-affirming care. So it's a little ambiguous.

00:12:57.440 This was the point of my CPAC speech a couple years ago that got a lot of attention from the left,

00:13:03.340 but I wasn't trying to be needlessly provocative. I was just following the idea to its logical conclusion.

00:13:08.240 I said, either transgenderism is true or it's not. Either a man can become a woman or he can't. 1.00

00:13:13.260 If a man can become a woman, then we should trans the kids because that's just how human nature 1.00

00:13:16.900 works and we should get them before puberty, I guess. If a man can't become a woman, 1.00

00:13:20.540 then we shouldn't trans anybody because that's not how human nature works. So we shouldn't trans the 1.00

00:13:24.680 kids. We shouldn't trans the adults. We shouldn't trans any of these people. They're confused and we 1.00

00:13:28.040 should get them the help that they need. You can see that ambiguity in President Trump's

00:13:33.200 social post. You can see that tension there. So this is a huge win, really important. It's sad

00:13:40.300 that we've fallen to such lows as a country that we have to celebrate not castrating little kids

00:13:46.240 because of the perverse fetishes and ignorance and confusion of adults. But we got to go further

00:13:54.320 than that. It actually doesn't make sense to ban transing kids, but not ban transing adults.

00:13:59.720 Kids don't have a different type of nature than adults do. It's not that little boys can't become

00:14:07.020 little girls, but grown men can become grown women. That doesn't make any sense. So we got to see,

00:14:11.880 are we going to follow this idea to its logical conclusion? Now it's up to the federal agencies.

00:14:15.360 I hope they do the right thing. At the very least, we can celebrate that not transing the kids anymore 1.00

00:14:21.760 is the mainstream position. There is a third great thing that happened yesterday that not nearly as

00:14:28.560 many people are talking about, but in some ways it could be the most consequential of all of the

00:14:33.740 initiatives. President Trump is offering federal workers a buyout. The White House issued a memo

00:14:42.540 yesterday offering to pay federal workers, bureaucrats, who do not want to return to the office

00:14:48.280 through September 30th. What's today? It's January 29th. They're going to pay them through September

00:14:56.300 30th. They're going to give them eight months of pay as long as those federal workers resign 0.99

00:15:02.860 by February 6th. Now, according to a senior administration official talking to Axios,

00:15:08.720 the government-wide email being sent today is to make sure that all federal workers are on board with

00:15:12.180 the new administration's plan to have federal employees in office and adhering to higher standards.

00:15:16.460 We are five years past COVID and just 6% of federal employees work full-time in office.

00:15:22.940 Think about that number. 6% of employees work full-time. When COVID sent everybody home,

00:15:30.480 I heeded my boss's demands. I went home. I did my show at home. I think one day, one or two days,

00:15:38.960 within about 36 hours, I was back in the office. I couldn't take it anymore. I said,

00:15:42.360 I got to be back in the office. I'm losing my mind. I can't get work done at home.

00:15:45.640 I was in a one-bedroom apartment at the time with my, we didn't have kids yet though. And I said,

00:15:49.300 I got to get back. I called Jeremy. I said, I'm coming back to the office. He said, I'm already

00:15:53.320 back. He was back the next day. Okay. We're five years later, 6% of federal workers are back in the

00:16:00.160 office. So what Trump is saying, look, we're going to give you eight months pay. We're going to give

00:16:05.040 you most of a year's pay. And it's going to save us so much money because you federal bureaucrats 0.57

00:16:12.760 are wasting so much of our money right now. One, because you're not in the office working. Two,

00:16:18.440 because when you are working, you're undermining our administration, a lot of you.

00:16:22.040 So we'll just buy you out. This is the advantage of having a businessman as president.

00:16:27.780 A career politician would not think about this. A businessman would. This kind of thing happens

00:16:32.860 a lot in business. If a company hits a downturn, you got to trim away some of the fat, you offer

00:16:38.820 people buyouts. It's going to cost you some money up front, but you're going to trim away a lot of

00:16:42.940 that fat. There's going to be a long-term advantage. The people who are going to jump at those buyouts

00:16:46.180 are the kind of people that you really don't want working at your company long-term. Okay, fine.

00:16:51.180 Cost me a little bit of money now. It's going to save me a lot of money in the long run.

00:16:55.120 The White House expects 5% to 10% of federal employees to accept this offer. That means potentially

00:17:02.760 hundreds of thousands of people. I said six months ago, maybe a year ago, I said on this show

00:17:08.000 that the president typically replaces, what, 4,000 to 5,000 people in an administration.

00:17:17.400 Those are the appointees, the people who churn with the new administration.

00:17:21.120 In order to have any, any effect on the federal bureaucracy, you would have to replace 40,000 to

00:17:26.240 50,000 people. The actual federal bureaucracy is about 2 million people or more. Okay, we're talking

00:17:32.760 about, talk about not being able to conceive of large numbers. That is a huge number that most

00:17:37.140 Americans can't think of. In one fell swoop, President Trump might get rid of hundreds of 0.73

00:17:42.900 thousands of federal bureaucrats, trim a lot of fat, make the bureaucracy a lot easier to manage. 1.00

00:17:49.560 And he's doing it by making people happy. This is the other thing. He's not just going in and saying,

00:17:54.800 you're, you're fired, you're fired, middle manager at the Office of Management and Budget. He's not

00:18:00.180 saying that. He's saying, hey, I'll give you eight months pay for free. You want that? You're the

00:18:05.100 kind of person who wants that? Okay, good. See you later. Okay, good job. You have eight months to

00:18:09.180 find a new job and you're going to have a cushy landing. For the rest of you who want to stick

00:18:13.660 around, you're not going to take eight months free. You're going to work hard. You're going to

00:18:17.340 come back to the office and you're going to be on board with my political program. It's just,

00:18:21.500 it's so brilliant. This is the carrot and the stick. And people like to portray this caricature of

00:18:27.520 Trump, that he's all stick. He's all insult and yelling and screaming and taking people's

00:18:32.500 security clearance. And, but he's not, he also knows how to work the incentives. This is a really,

00:18:37.620 really great incentive. You know what I love about our partnership with Helix Sleep?

00:18:41.040 They understand that better sleep means better days. I've been sleeping on mine for months now,

00:19:04.540 Start sleeping better tonight. Okay, one last big W that I want to talk about from yesterday.

00:19:09.660 There's a new White House logo. I noticed this on one of the memoranda that was coming out of the

00:19:15.160 White House. I said, oh, it looks like they changed the logo. Symbols matter. Most people are going to

00:19:20.800 totally overlook this, but you know, I really focus on symbols a lot. I wrote a whole book about

00:19:24.440 symbols called Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds, because the symbols tell you

00:19:30.040 something about what is symbolized. The signs tell you about something that is signified. How we use

00:19:35.220 symbols controls how we perceive the world, and it controls how we act. What's the difference here?

00:19:40.940 In the old, every administration just about tweaks the White House logo a little bit.

00:19:45.380 In the old one, in the Biden administration, it was navy blue on white, and it was very simplified.

00:19:52.900 A little bit more modern, a little bit more sleek image of the White House. Not too many ornaments,

00:19:58.080 not too many adornments, just a really basic drawing of the White House with the flag on top that didn't

00:20:04.960 even have the distinctions of the American flag. It was just a white banner. But if you knew,

00:20:10.500 you knew it's an American flag. Okay. And then relatively small square print for the White 0.57

00:20:16.520 House underneath that Washington. The new one, the new Trump logo. Much more ornate, much more

00:20:22.240 detailed to give you a look at what the White House really looks like. You're seeing some of the

00:20:25.900 ornamentation, some of the finishes around the White House door and windows. You're seeing

00:20:31.280 many more little lines. And it just captures a little bit more of the classical architecture

00:20:40.460 of the White House. Then the American flag is in red, white, and blue. So it really pops on the

00:20:44.500 darker blue standard. It's a little bit more stark. And then the White House font is bigger.

00:20:50.580 It's taller. It's not as square. It's all caps, just like the old one. But it's taller. And Washington

00:20:56.960 is removed from the logo. There is a lot going on here. One is a return to classical architecture,

00:21:04.080 a return to beauty, a return to not just the style that initially defined our nation's capital,

00:21:12.740 but a return to the classics more broadly. This is obviously a deeply conservative kind of image

00:21:19.320 of the White House. Then that stark focus on America. America is not just, we don't just have a flag

00:21:24.740 like every other flag, indistinguishable from all of them. America is not just a nation like every

00:21:28.780 other nation, indistinguishable from them. America is America, and it's going to pop,

00:21:32.480 and it's going to be a little bit different. Then the White House logo, it's much taller.

00:21:39.040 It's imperial almost. It's imposing. It's big and tall and grand, just like you walk into the

00:21:45.860 Supreme Court. It's a big, tall, grand building. You walk into an old Beaux-Arts or neoclassical

00:21:51.560 train station or library. It's big. It's tall. It's imposing. You feel the weight

00:21:54.840 of history. You feel a sense that there is a kind of justice above you. It's not all just the

00:22:01.620 little machinations of tiny little people running around like rats. That's what you get from the

00:22:05.300 increased height of the fund, the White House. And then notice there's no Washington. We are

00:22:10.760 de-centering the role of the Washington bureaucrats here. Washington didn't elect Donald Trump.

00:22:17.500 So you elected Donald Trump throughout America. And yet you have this seeming paradox. It's big.

00:22:25.960 It's imperious. It's grand. It's detailed. It's all of these things. But it's not just about

00:22:31.920 Washington. It's about America, the nation. The nation that is actually the global empire,

00:22:38.420 that is a big power, and that is going to draw on her classical influences, going to draw on her roots

00:22:44.520 to project that power out and distinguish ourselves from the rest of the nations.

00:22:49.320 I don't think I'm reading too deeply into this. You don't just change a logo on a whim, okay? I

00:22:53.840 don't think Donald Trump was just sketching this on a pad. Very smart people spent a long time

00:22:58.740 making that new logo to be distinct from the old logo because they want the Trump administration to

00:23:05.420 be distinct from the Biden administration because they want this vision of America to be distinct from

00:23:09.560 the old vision of America. And every change I see here seems to signify a change for the better.

00:23:16.680 You know, folks, one of my absolute favorite things I do is sit down for very long conversations

00:23:21.560 with people that you might never have heard of. People who are not just talking about the latest

00:23:25.400 quarterly earnings report or the latest immigration numbers. People who are talking about

00:23:30.600 really deep, sometimes esoteric things. Like a man I just sat down with, Blake Healy.

00:23:36.860 Would you freak out if someone said that they saw an angel or a demon standing right behind you?

00:23:43.260 That's what happened to me when I sat down with Blake, the author of the bestselling book,

00:23:47.160 The Veil, who claims to be able to see things in the spiritual world. Take a listen.

00:23:52.860 I see angels and demons in about equal measure. There was this sense of separation. And even though

00:23:58.080 I could identify that's something that might be scary, there wasn't any sense of immediate danger.

00:24:02.080 I looked up and instead of my mom, I saw this just kind of shadow. As soon as I looked at it,

00:24:06.460 it's kind of slunked into the crack, walked around to the edge of my bed. It kind of had these milky

00:24:11.460 white eyes. Its eyes flashed and I felt this overwhelming sense of fear. Absolute panic was

00:24:19.420 just going through my body. It happened night after night after night for three and a half years.

00:24:24.980 You have this question, which is, am I a highly functioning schizophrenic?

00:24:29.700 They talked to me about this concept that I hadn't heard of before that they called seeing in the

00:24:34.180 spirit. Something in that recipe of expanding the options from either I'm going crazy or the devil's

00:24:41.120 decided to ruin my life to this third option of maybe I have a gift that I just haven't learned

00:24:46.000 how to manage yet. This is your daily experience. It is. Do you see these things now? Like right now?

00:24:51.920 Why are we talking at this very moment? What do you see? Right now? I can see your personal angel

00:24:57.180 standing right behind you, just behind your left shoulder.

00:25:00.380 Watch the full episode now. Figure out if you believe him. Do you believe him? Check it out

00:25:14.600 on Daily Wire Plus. Now, speaking of symbols, ICE is performing raids in cities around America to

00:25:24.560 deport all of the face tattooed gangsters. Illegal aliens are going out and protesting the ICE raids.

00:25:31.720 And this is really, it shows you what an unserious country the Democrats and the squish Republicans have 0.99

00:25:37.380 made us. There was a time in this country where if you were here illegally, you would not show your

00:25:42.920 face if a police officer were around. You would hide in the corners because you don't want to be

00:25:46.960 deported. Now, these people, these entitled people show up, flaunt their crimes in front of the cops,

00:25:56.340 and they have the audacity to wave Mexican flags. The argument for not deporting some of these illegal

00:26:04.940 aliens is, oh, they've been here for a long time. Oh, some of them came over before they were 18.

00:26:10.060 They didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. Oh, they did this. Oh, they did that.

00:26:13.480 They're more American than you are. By golly, they're as American as apple pie. Well, if they 0.78

00:26:18.580 were as American as apple pie, they probably wouldn't be waving Mexican flags. Why are they

00:26:21.940 waving Mexican flags? You know, half my family came here on the Mayflower, which is why we have

00:26:27.820 delicious Mayflower cigars. But the other half of my family came over on a sardine boat, practically,

00:26:32.200 from Italy. And you know what happened when they came from Italy? They didn't wave Italian flags.

00:26:37.680 They waved American flags. And they did everything they could to learn English and to be English and to

00:26:43.300 raise their children as Americans and to assimilate. That's what they wanted to do. 0.69

00:26:49.600 In part, because they loved America and they loved the idea of America and they wanted to be part of

00:26:54.840 America. And also because they knew they couldn't succeed if they didn't become Americans.

00:27:00.760 These people, this is ridiculous. There are plenty of immigrants who do assimilate and do want to be 1.00

00:27:05.760 part of America. But these guys don't. You like Mexico so much? Hey, here's the door, buddy.

00:27:12.220 You know, they're really undermining their own argument. I mean, listen to these people.

00:27:19.920 Screeching, screaming. How many Mexican flags are there? Like a dozen? Holding signs?

00:27:27.260 These people should be uniformly rounded up and thrown out of the country. All of them. 0.93

00:27:33.800 The audacity to protest American law enforcement officers?

00:27:39.940 Screeching about the American president? Get him out of here, man.

00:27:43.540 Send them to El Salvador. I don't know where, I guess these people are from Mexico. A lot of them 1.00

00:27:49.120 wave Mexican flags. But who knows where, I don't really care where they're from. Send them to El 1.00

00:27:53.100 Salvador. Let Naive Bukele take care of them. I think he'll talk some sense into them.

00:27:58.140 This is not great optics for the anti-deportation crowd. So just as we say, on the Republican side,

00:28:05.360 you got to keep the focus on the Haitian gangsters saying, thanks, Obama, I hate you, 0.82

00:28:09.240 Donald Trump, while they're being arrested. You got to keep the focus on the face tattooed guys. 0.95

00:28:12.920 You got to keep the focus on the murderers and the rapists and the drug dealers and the criminals.

00:28:17.200 So too, you got to keep your focus on these guys.

00:28:20.040 If this is the best that the pro-amnesty, pro-open borders crowd has to offer from a bunch of

00:28:28.200 screeching, vulgar foreigners waving foreign flags, mocking law enforcement to their faces, 1.00

00:28:34.840 that's going to really move public opinion. And the irony is, it's not only going to move public 0.92

00:28:40.100 opinion of white guys and black guys and people born in America. That's going to bolster and

00:28:46.340 continue to move public opinion of legal immigrants and Hispanics who love this country.

00:28:52.340 No coincidence that President Trump won almost half the Hispanic vote this cycle.

00:28:56.920 Even as we were, and he did very well with the Hispanic vote actually in 2016 as well,

00:29:00.760 even though we were told he was going to turn off the, no, because

00:29:03.200 any reasonable immigrant does not want to be associated with those people. 0.99

00:29:09.180 You know, I don't know how Tom Homan's looking at it, but I'm looking at those people. I'm saying,

00:29:12.880 oh, those are some nice targets. Great. Hey, fellas, we got them. Go over there, get them.

00:29:18.720 Now, speaking of criminals, a Florida Democrat official has been arrested for possession of

00:29:25.580 child pornography and for trying to meet a nine-year-old boy for abuse. This is the Orange 0.61

00:29:31.700 County Democrat Party treasurer. He's also the president of Rainbow Democrats, a LGBT Democrat

00:29:38.880 activist group, 39 years old. He's a Democrat National Committee delegate, self-professed member

00:29:44.300 of the LGBT community. So this is not just some random Palookaville, you know, registered Democrat

00:29:51.420 Party member. This is a guy who is pretty seriously involved with the Democratic Party at the local

00:29:57.200 level and on the national level. He's a DNC delegate. What was the Rainbow Democrats' response to this

00:30:04.300 arrest? Not just that he was possessing child pornography, horrific enough. He was trying to

00:30:10.580 meet a nine-year-old boy. Just turned out the nine-year-old boy he was going to meet was a law

00:30:14.600 enforcement officer. The Rainbow Democrats say the Rainbow Democrats are shocked to hear about the

00:30:19.840 allegations. They're shocked. The Orange County Democrats say we are deeply appalled and horrified

00:30:25.020 by the news. They're horrified. They're appalled. They're shocked. Are you really that shocked? I'm not

00:30:30.080 that shocked. I sometimes say it's always the ones you most expect. Are you really, why are you shocked

00:30:35.580 here? This guy makes weird sex stuff most of his identity. That's most of his identity. It's not just 0.98

00:30:47.320 that he's a guy who has deviant sexual views or desires. It's not that this guy, he's a, you know, 0.54

00:30:52.960 he's a little light in the loafers. You know, he's not interested in women, but he's, you know,

00:30:59.220 he's going to, he's going to, he's a confirmed bachelor. He's not going to make a big deal.

00:31:02.540 This is a guy whose whole identity is, I'm into weird sex stuff. I promote weird sex stuff in 0.91

00:31:08.460 public. I want everyone to hear about how much I love weird sex stuff. And I want weird sex stuff 0.98

00:31:12.160 to be part of the Democratic National Platform. Is it any surprise that guy's into like really, 0.54

00:31:17.900 really weird sex stuff? That's not surprising to me at all.

00:31:22.960 In a way, it would be surprising if the guy who made sex, his whole identity were just, you know,

00:31:30.540 leave it to beaver, father knows best when he gets home at night. That would be more surprising to me.

00:31:35.140 This is why, by the way, we really need to discourage all of the pride parades and pride 1.00

00:31:41.460 month and pride logos and symbols and all this stuff in our culture. It's not to be cruel to people who

00:31:48.160 have aberrant desires or, you know, the sort of low voltage gays, the ones who just kind of 1.00

00:31:54.760 minding their own business. And that sort of thing has always existed for all of human history. It's a

00:31:59.880 fallen world. Things get a little quirky. Very few people have a problem with that. No one wants to

00:32:04.840 send the purity police around to people's homes. But it is weird to normalize and mainstream

00:32:12.940 aberrant, increasingly aberrant, weird sexual views. Certainly on Main Street, where people's

00:32:19.820 grandmothers and kids have to go see it. Or else have to cede the public square to wackos for, 1.00

00:32:25.440 you know, a whole month. The most hardcore, bizarre, politically active wackos. That's just, 0.80

00:32:32.240 we just need to, it's one thing to say, hey, all right, some people are a little quirky. They're

00:32:36.300 going to go do their own thing. You know, okay, whatever. But I don't know. It's a big red flag.

00:32:41.060 We're talking about a lot of flags, the Mexican flag, the American flag, the rainbow flag.

00:32:44.440 If you are making the rainbow flag, the weird sex flag, your identity, that's a red flag. And 0.75

00:32:51.220 people should not be surprised if you get caught doing really, really wicked things.

00:32:57.180 Speaking of technology, there is an ad that was served to me on Instagram.

00:33:03.360 And I just thought nothing of it. I said, that's a, I didn't even, I didn't even really understand

00:33:07.720 what the ad was. And then I saw it start to pop up on social media elsewhere. And I said, oh, I guess

00:33:11.600 this is a real thing that's going around. It was an advertisement for a ring that you would give your

00:33:18.340 wife or that you would buy for yourself if you had undergone IVF. And it was a ring that would

00:33:25.640 include in the jewelry the embryos of the babies that you didn't want.

00:33:31.760 But even to say embryos of the babies, it doesn't make sense because an embryo is a baby.

00:33:39.060 It's not, it would include your kids that you chose not to have. Because when people

00:33:42.540 do IVF, when they go through this process, many of them don't think about it. They don't really

00:33:48.120 understand what they're getting into. To do IVF, you have to one, usually commit an action that is

00:33:55.700 intrinsically disordered and grave to procure the raw materials. Then scientists in the lab,

00:34:01.600 mix up the sperm and the egg, and they create little babies. And sometimes they pick the wrong

00:34:07.500 sperm and the wrong egg. Sometimes they make babies with mothers and fathers who have never 0.56

00:34:12.000 met each other before, accidentally, oopsie daisy. Sometimes they plant, implant babies in the wrong

00:34:18.900 mother, and there are lawsuits about this. But even when it goes right, they make a lot of little

00:34:22.600 babies, and then one or two babies maybe take, and the rest are just frozen indefinitely or killed,

00:34:28.500 destroyed. Well, this jewelry company says, you know what you can do?

00:34:31.600 You can put them in jewelry and wear your kids' cadavers around on your finger all day.

00:34:36.020 Nikola Tesla is reported to have said, upon creating a remote control boat that could be

00:34:44.880 used for explosives, said, you will live to see, you might live to see man-made horrors

00:34:50.820 beyond your comprehension. I think that's what we're seeing. This is really, really horrifying.

00:34:56.300 However, I've noticed and predicted that most everyone was in favor of IVF and surrogacy.

00:35:04.580 You know, finding a woman, purchasing her eggs, renting the womb of another woman, 1.00

00:35:09.380 then procuring a baby, maybe killing the baby if the baby had Down syndrome. This is even in some

00:35:15.400 of the surrogacy contracts. If the baby has Down syndrome or whatever, they're going to abort the

00:35:18.400 baby. They're going to kill it. They don't want a baby who has any form of mental retardation or 1.00

00:35:22.200 anything like that. Maybe they'll pick for the sex. They don't want a girl. They do want a boy, 0.98

00:35:25.440 whatever. But then you're going to get the baby and everyone's going to love it. Everyone's going

00:35:33.520 to, everyone obviously loves the baby because the baby's intrinsically good, but everyone's going

00:35:37.620 to love the idea of IVF because it makes more babies. And there were some groups that said,

00:35:40.940 I don't know. The Catholic Church has been clear on this from the beginning. The Southern Baptists

00:35:44.860 recently just came out and said, actually, there's something a little wrong about this

00:35:47.840 because you're depriving the baby of the only mother he's ever known. By the way, there's a

00:35:51.320 study on this that came out. I think it was 2015, which showed that babies who are born via surrogacy

00:35:57.160 are much more likely to have emotional problems by the age of seven, anxiety, depression, aggressiveness,

00:36:03.700 antisocial behavior. So surrogacy alone creates a lot of problems for kids, but there are all these

00:36:09.080 other bioethical implications of it. And I thought people, it's going to take people a long time to

00:36:14.580 figure out this novel bioethical question. And you're starting to see that turn. I think this

00:36:19.220 kind of stuff, that's going to drive it home. I'm actually in favor of this kind of advertisement,

00:36:25.640 not the product, but this advertisement, because it's very easy to put IVF out of your mind. You say,

00:36:30.180 oh yeah, well, there's some babies frozen forever in a freezer. Oh yeah, there's, okay, it's no big

00:36:33.940 deal. Whatever. I'm going to keep it out of sight, out of mind. At least I have my kid who's here.

00:36:37.600 If you've got to consider what that ring is, you've got to look at it every single day. I think it

00:36:42.320 drives home the reality. And my prediction is, I know it's a minority view right now. I think

00:36:47.320 as the ethical implications of IVF and surrogacy become clear, public opinion will turn against it

00:36:54.960 in much the same way as we've seen with issues like late-term abortion. I think that's what's

00:37:01.220 going to happen. In the long run, I think you're beginning to see it happen already. Just ask the

00:37:05.120 Southern Baptists. Now folks, the establishment media, they're broken. They're corrupt. They don't

00:37:11.160 report the news. They curate the news to fit their agenda. Americans are finished with it.

00:37:16.160 That is why the Daily Wire exists. We are not here to follow the narrative. We are here to crush the

00:37:20.860 narrative. Our reporters go where the truth is, no matter how inconvenient it may be for the powerful.

00:37:26.120 We are not stopping that. We're creating the entertainment Hollywood won't. Bold movies,

00:37:29.700 fearless docs, shows that fight back against the cultural rot. And here's the thing,

00:37:33.220 none of that happens without you. The fight for truth and culture starts with your support.

00:37:37.420 Join the movement today at dailywire.com slash subscribe. Do not sit on the sidelines. Be part

00:37:42.660 of the revolution. My favorite comment yesterday is from Sajad Nowhere. It says,

00:37:48.940 why is she sad about people having to leave a white supremacist country? That's a good point.

00:37:54.040 Actually, Alex Rosen, who has all of this content where he catches child abusers and catches them

00:38:02.140 online and he goes and films them and stuff. He had this whole bit. He said, it's just,

00:38:04.980 it's so, we have to think of the children, all these poor immigrant children who are in this 1.00

00:38:11.880 terribly racist country. To help the children, we have to get them back to Mexico and out of this

00:38:17.400 evil, racist, white supremacist country. And of course that's true. Of course, that's what the 0.99

00:38:23.200 Libs say. They say, America is evil and terrible and racist and it's oppressive to everyone, 0.98

00:38:29.820 especially brown people. And that's why we need to let all the brown people in. We have to let them 0.99

00:38:34.160 stay here. What? Seems like a contradiction. Speaking of crimes, did Diddy have Tupac murdered?

00:38:43.980 I want to know. The people want to know. Did Diddy, did Diddy did it? Did Diddy do that thing?

00:38:50.220 Did Diddy have Tupac murdered? There's a story a little far afield of our political discussion.

00:38:55.180 Diddy was reportedly named 47 times in Tupac murder suspect's secret cop interview and accused of

00:39:07.160 ordering a hit on the rapper over a diss track. Diddy reportedly said, according to new court documents,

00:39:15.160 that he would, quote, give anything for, quote, the heads of Tupac and Suge Knight.

00:39:19.260 He said this in front of 45 people. Did Diddy do it? Why do I care about Diddy? Diddy is being

00:39:29.780 prosecuted for all sorts of crazy crimes right now. But did he on top of that, did he kill Tupac? Did

00:39:35.780 he kill Pac? That'd be crazy, huh? It seems to me quite plausible that Diddy killed Tupac. And you know

00:39:45.700 why? Not that I know very much about Mr. Diddy. Not that I know very much about Mr. Tupac.

00:39:50.900 Other than that he was a ballet dancer, which is kind of weird. It's because in the long run,

00:39:57.500 people don't usually just go a little bit bad. That's the thing. In order to believe that Diddy

00:40:05.640 ordered the death of Tupac, you would have to believe that the guy who allegedly ran a major 0.85

00:40:13.920 sex ring, including all sorts of underage crimes and involving all sorts of crazy orgies and

00:40:23.040 blackmail and videotapes and just vile abuses, you're telling me that guy would do something 0.87

00:40:31.380 really bad? Yeah, I am saying that. Because in the long run, people don't tend to go just a little

00:40:38.820 bit bad. People don't tend to go just a little bit good. You tend to just keep going down the

00:40:44.540 path you're on. So it's like a gateway drug. If you're a teenager, if you're a kid and you start

00:40:50.400 smoking pot, if you start smoking pot by age 11, you're probably not going to stop at pot.

00:40:56.340 You're probably going to be doing coke by age 15. You might be doing even harder drugs by age 18 or

00:41:02.860 20. If you're lucky, you're going to be in rehab by 22. If you're not lucky, you're going to be dead.

00:41:08.820 Okay. People tend to go down paths. If, on the other hand, you're raised well, you're well-formed,

00:41:17.020 you cultivate the habits of virtue, you are fastidious, and you are humble, and you demonstrate

00:41:24.500 courage, and you're chaste, and you do all these things. It would be very odd. It would be very,

00:41:30.440 very strange for you to end up a meth-addled, brothel-going murderer just suddenly.

00:41:38.260 It's just, that's not how human nature works. This was one of the jokes in Always Sunny in

00:41:42.300 Philadelphia, is there's this character. What's his name? He was a priest who then, the gang in

00:41:48.680 Always Sunny, you know, puts off the right path, and then he ends up being this homeless, drug-addled 0.96

00:41:54.300 prostitute, you know, all of these terrible things. I can't believe I forget his name, 0.98

00:41:58.460 because I've seen probably every episode of Always Sunny. But that, the joke there is,

00:42:02.460 that's not really how human nature works. Okay? And it's important in the way that we think about

00:42:07.780 our personal lives, and the way that we think about politics. All of the little decisions we make,

00:42:13.020 all of the tiny little choices to do the right thing, or do the wrong thing, they're not in

00:42:18.900 isolation. They're just steps down various paths. So I don't know, to me, to raise your eyebrow and say,

00:42:26.740 there's no way Diddy actually killed Tupac, is to say, you just don't understand how human nature

00:42:30.660 works. I'm not saying he definitely killed Tupac. I'm just saying, the kind of people who do bad

00:42:34.660 stuff are much more inclined to do bad stuff. The kind of people who do good stuff are much more

00:42:40.280 inclined to do good stuff. Sometimes you can have conversions and radical changes, but generally,

00:42:46.080 if you're on the wrong path, be careful, because things can get very bad very quickly. One day,

00:42:52.520 you're just making diss tracks and having weird sex parties. The next day, you're murdering a 0.99

00:42:57.800 ballet dancing rapper. Speaking of famous feuds, Jim Acosta, an old foe of President Trump,

00:43:05.480 has officially quit CNN. Here is his final broadcast.

00:43:09.960 There's never a good time to bow down to a tyrant. I've always believed it's the job of the press to

00:43:15.940 hold power to account. I've always tried to do that here at CNN, and I plan on going doing all of that

00:43:21.520 in the future. One final message. Don't give into the lies. Don't give into the fear. Hold on to the

00:43:29.380 truth and to hope. Even if you have to get out your phone, record that message. I will not give

00:43:36.320 into the lies. I will not give into the fear. Post it on your social media so people can hear from you

00:43:43.200 too. I'll have more to say about my plans in the coming days, but until then, I want to thank all of

00:43:48.700 you for tuning in. It has been an honor to be welcomed into your home for all these years.

00:43:53.160 That's the news. Reporting from Washington, I'm Jim Acosta.

00:44:05.380 That's a really long way to say I'm angry that I got fired. Or rather, he was just moved to such

00:44:10.600 a late time slot that he was offended and it looked embarrassing for him, so he quit.

00:44:14.540 Some have also noted that Jim Acosta bears a passing resemblance to George Clooney.

00:44:21.740 They've called him the Timu version of George Clooney. George Clowney, perhaps we could call him.

00:44:26.300 What a ridiculous sign-off. He's saying that, he's insinuating that Trump is a tyrant. He said, 1.00

00:44:33.920 never give in to tyrants. A tyrant is a ruler who governs without the law.

00:44:39.160 A ruler who governs out of caprice and who governs arbitrarily.

00:44:45.480 Donald Trump, the defining feature of his first couple weeks in office,

00:44:49.920 just one, I guess it's just his first week in office, is that he is enforcing the law again

00:44:55.840 after four years of lawlessness. I don't really want to call Joe Biden a tyrant. I don't think

00:45:01.180 he even rises to that level. But if you were going to call either of those guys a tyrant,

00:45:05.240 it would be Biden. If you were to call Obama or Trump a tyrant, it would be Obama because Obama

00:45:11.120 admitted to surpassing the boundaries of the constitution, to governing without the law.

00:45:18.540 That's what it, Trump doesn't check any of those boxes. Furthermore, tyrants are often usurpers.

00:45:24.800 How can you call Trump a usurper? Most people voted for him. Huge swaths of every demographic

00:45:29.960 and the majority of Americans voted for that guy. Trump wins. Acosta loses. As cocaine Mitch says,

00:45:37.260 the winners go to Washington, the losers go home. Jim Acosta, he's taking the L. He's going home.
