00:00:37.540 I watched the Super Bowl last night not because I like the Philadelphia Eagles,

00:00:42.140 not even because I like the Kansas City Chiefs and Giga Chad Catholic Harrison Butker in particular.

00:00:48.000 I watched it to see how much the Trump election had changed the pop culture.

00:00:54.160 I watched it to see if even the most left-wing professional male sports league would bend the knee, 0.95

00:01:01.320 not to George Floyd, but to the majority of Americans who rejected leftism in November.

00:01:06.800 And what did I find?

00:01:08.440 A handful, at most, of woke ads.

00:01:12.060 An apparently patriotic halftime show.

00:01:16.980 An attack on the very notion of pride.

00:01:20.160 Normal military ads.

00:01:23.120 An ovation for President Trump.

00:01:25.180 And boos for Taylor Swift.

00:01:28.020 We're back.

00:01:29.660 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:01:30.440 This is the Michael Knowles Show.

00:01:31.340 Kanye West is tweeting.

00:01:52.540 We will get to the tweets.

00:01:53.460 He also apparently had a Super Bowl ad in a couple of media markets that is really funny.

00:01:58.620 It's dark, it's not good, but it's fairly funny.

00:02:02.540 There's so much more to say first, though.

00:02:04.480 Go to balanceofnature.com, use promo code Knowles.

00:02:07.200 Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies is the most convenient way to get whole fruits and vegetables daily,

00:02:11.740 especially if you've focused on creating a healthier, happier lifestyle.

00:02:17.600 Nature is pretty good at giving us the nutrients we need through fruits and vegetables.

00:02:21.300 So Balance of Nature takes fruits and veggies, freeze-dries them, turns them into a powder,

00:02:25.460 and then puts them into a capsule.

00:02:26.580 You take your fruit and veggie capsules every day, then your body knows what to do with them.

00:02:31.360 Balance of Nature is just one ingredient of a balanced lifestyle, has no intention to replace a healthy diet,

00:02:35.920 exercise, sleep, or any other healthy habits.

00:02:38.240 It is intended to be used in concert with other healthy habits.

00:02:42.840 I absolutely adore Balance of Nature, especially when I'm on the road, as I am a lot.

00:02:47.780 I was just in California for a night a couple days ago.

00:02:51.400 So it is really, really great to be able to have Balance of Nature.

00:02:55.620 And even if you're not eating the best, you know, you know you're getting your fruits and veggies.

00:02:59.860 Balanceofnature.com, use promo code Knowles, Canada, B-U-L-E-S, for 35% off your first order as a preferred customer.

00:03:05.140 Plus, get a free bottle of fiber and spice.

00:03:07.620 Balanceofnature.com, promo code Knowles.

00:03:09.520 Okay, let's just start with the bad ads.

00:03:13.860 There were a handful of bad...

00:03:14.860 Here is one fairly woke ad from the Super Bowl.

00:03:19.240 I hate you because we're from different neighborhoods. 0.99

00:03:21.680 I hate you because you look different. 1.00

00:03:23.540 I hate you because I don't understand you. 1.00

00:03:25.360 I hate you because people I know hate you. 1.00

00:03:27.520 I hate you because I think you hate me. 1.00

00:03:29.420 Because I need someone to blame. 1.00

00:03:30.980 Because you talk different.

00:03:32.040 Because you act different.

00:03:33.200 Because you're just different. 1.00

00:03:34.260 The reasons for hate are as stupid as they say. 1.00

00:03:40.760 Man, I hate that things are so bad that we have to do a commercial about it. 1.00

00:03:44.420 Me too.

00:03:47.480 Stand up to all hate.

00:03:49.920 Okay, so that was an ad from the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

00:03:55.460 Even though it was this totally vague, generic ad.

00:03:58.460 So it was kind of an annoying ad because the insinuation is that Americans are hateful and bigoted and racist and this and that and the other thing.

00:04:08.140 And I just think we don't.

00:04:09.300 We're kind of past that.

00:04:10.180 We don't need those ads anymore.

00:04:11.980 But I guess an improvement of that kind of ad over where the NFL has been for the past five years is that it was just vaguely promoting people not being mean to each other.

00:04:24.200 It wasn't saying America is a white supremacist nation and we murdered George Floyd and we got to take a knee with Colin Kaepernick because the black man's been kept down.

00:04:36.160 It wasn't that kind of thing.

00:04:37.340 It was just, you know, hey, let's be nice to each other.

00:04:39.700 Okay.

00:04:41.340 Annoying.

00:04:41.840 A little woke.

00:04:42.760 A little lib.

00:04:43.400 But overall, an improvement.

00:04:46.100 Now, the most woke ad came from Nike. 0.60

00:04:49.280 Uh, this ad which pitted a young woman of color against evil white jocks in the game of football. 0.51

00:05:02.080 Hey, Chad. 0.95

00:05:03.300 Check out the new girl. 0.99

00:05:05.200 Ew, what is she wearing? 1.00

00:05:07.280 Girls don't play football. 1.00

00:05:09.260 They do where I'm from.

00:05:10.660 Get a load of this one.

00:05:12.280 Think fast.

00:05:13.660 You think fast.

00:05:15.460 Woo! 0.99

00:05:16.860 Right in the Jimmy Johnson.

00:05:18.360 This ain't over.

00:05:19.800 We're just getting started, Chad.

00:05:21.780 Get in the fly! 0.99

00:05:23.300 Let's go, let's go!

00:05:25.300 Get down, get down. 0.99

00:05:27.380 Come on, free away, there you go.

00:05:29.320 Ooh, little girl, bad.

00:05:35.800 Oh! 0.60

00:05:38.640 Enough! 1.00

00:05:39.660 Let's settle this once and for all.

00:05:42.020 Your best guy.

00:05:43.220 Girl.

00:05:43.800 Whatever.

00:05:44.780 Versus our best guy.

00:05:46.480 The Brad.

00:05:47.200 The Brad.

00:05:48.420 Brad.

00:05:49.320 Brad.

00:05:49.560 Brad.

00:05:49.720 Oh, not the Brad.

00:05:52.000 Brad.

00:05:52.580 Brad!

00:05:53.000 Brad!

00:05:53.540 Brad!

00:05:53.720 Brad!

00:05:53.840 Brad!

00:05:54.340 Brad!

00:05:54.520 Brad!

00:05:54.900 Brad!

00:05:55.120 Brad!

00:05:55.300 Brad!

00:05:55.900 Brad!

00:05:56.340 Brad!

00:05:57.300 Brad!

00:05:57.800 I can read.

00:05:58.520 so the girl she's really good at football and all the dudes are really bad at football

00:06:28.200 so the antagonists are two white guys two like 1980s movie looking white guys chad and brad

00:06:36.480 the protagonist is a young woman of color young black woman i guess there are a few other people

00:06:42.120 of various uh ethnic backgrounds here but that's that's basically the setup and then the good guy

00:06:49.240 cheering from the sidelines is a black guy who looks like shaft or something so classic modern 1.00

00:06:55.240 politically correct woke setup black people good white people bad women good men bad 0.99

00:07:02.240 women even even putting forward the notion that women can beat men in football that will never 0.55

00:07:10.040 happen ever not even one time under any circumstances any woman any man can't happen

00:07:14.940 that was annoying it's nike though you know c'est la vie what are you gonna do

00:07:18.720 it was a comprehensively woke ad some said they said well look at least these nike had another

00:07:27.700 ad defending women in sports they say well at least they're defending women in sports meaning 0.83

00:07:32.780 they're not promoting transgenderism in sports so in that way maybe it's a win for the right 1.00

00:07:37.780 but i don't really buy that because this commercial was implicitly advancing the trans ideology by

00:07:43.400 pretending that women could beat men at football which will never happen so that was annoying that

00:07:48.840 was a total loser however the fact that i'm only pointing to those two commercials out of what were

00:07:54.400 there a billion commercials last night there were a lot of commercial breaks during the super bowl 0.88

00:07:57.220 the rest of them were fine politic politically speaking ideologically they were great they weren't that

00:08:07.440 good as a matter of creativity and entertainment the left in hollywood doesn't know how to make compelling

00:08:14.980 ads that aren't just didactic and ideological anymore however they were not left wing when i think of this

00:08:24.280 harrison ford commercial harrison ford did a commercial for jeep which was actually a good commercial it was well

00:08:31.140 made and it took a direct shot at the left freedom is yes or no or maybe freedom is for everybody but it

00:08:47.780 isn't free it's earned there are real heroes in the world but not the ones in the movies

00:08:55.740 real heroes are humble they're not driven by pride pride is a terrible driver you catch that you catch

00:09:08.840 that little bit there right at the end says these guys the real heroes aren't hollywood celebrities

00:09:14.560 they're military service members okay so first right right off the bat wow okay stop listening to the

00:09:21.440 leftist hollywood celebrities because the real heroes are the much more conservative members of

00:09:27.560 the military then he says and they're driven by humility they're not driven by pride pride pride is the

00:09:33.660 slogan of the left they're they're about to have a whole month for pride and in case you missed it he

00:09:40.060 doubles down on it right there in the end he says pride is a terrible driver that's not accidental

00:09:47.580 not one word of these eight million dollar each superbowl commercials is accidental okay these are

00:09:56.080 all focus tested focus group tested they've been run through a bunch of producers this is very

00:10:04.360 intentional and what jeep is signaling here is hey we recognize that leftism liberalism wokeism are

00:10:13.600 dead they are not cool the american people have turned against it thanks to this election we now

00:10:23.200 know that well we ain't for it we like we support the military not hollywood we support normal stuff

00:10:30.180 not pride we support buy our cars we're normal hey you guys are normal we're normal all the other

00:10:35.600 guys might be woke and crazy but we're normal it was a beautiful ad there was even another ad i can't

00:10:41.560 find it i was watching it on tubi so i don't know which media market i was that this ad was airing in

00:10:46.300 if it wasn't national it was a navy ad and the navy ad just featured a normal looking guy just a normal

00:10:54.680 he's a white guy even which is you know these days it's very politically incorrect he was just a muscular

00:10:59.560 looking white guy they said it was it was reminiscent of the old be all be all that you can be army ads

00:11:06.060 and they said hey you know you want to join the navy you can find your purpose it's really great join

00:11:10.400 the navy i thought wow we must be on the brink of world war three because back when everything was 0.96

00:11:15.960 peaceful we had military recruitment ads that had like latina muslim pygmy lesbians talking about how 1.00

00:11:23.600 great it is that her lesbian parents you know brought her to pride parades and that's why she joined the 0.79

00:11:29.220 cia i'm not even really exaggerating that much about that cia commercial and now the commercials are

00:11:35.140 hey are you a guy that looks like most military service members yeah you should you should join

00:11:41.140 the military and and maybe it's because we're on the brink of world war three or maybe it's because

00:11:46.200 we've had a seismic domestic political shift here you even saw it with the radical left-wing

00:11:56.120 artist so-called who played the halftime show there's so much more to say first though

00:12:02.180 go to home title lock dot com use promo code knolls 25 did you know that american homeowners

00:13:17.620 the halftime show featured samuel l jackson as a kind of mc dressed up as uncle sam he did a great job

00:13:24.980 and then some guy named kendrick lamar who i don't know anything about i've heard the name before

00:13:29.420 i was not able to understand basically a single word that he said during his rap performance in the

00:13:36.160 halftime show it was complete gibberish and i'm not sure he was even attempting to speak the english

00:13:41.120 language however the aesthetics of it looked generally pretty good because while the performance

00:13:50.080 was gibberish it was at least vaguely patriotic it's a great american game

00:13:57.540 my gemini twin back power went up no more handshakes and hugs the energy only circulate through us

00:14:03.680 everybody must be judged but this time god only favoring us 20 years in still got their pen dedicated

00:14:08.880 to bear hard truth etiquette speak with a vigilant tongue predicate this time miss i'm carrying heavier

00:14:14.000 all right man i'll take it i'll take it for those of you who are just listening this guy kendrick lamar

00:14:35.860 was standing there amid a big human american flag he's wearing red white and blue

00:14:41.060 the fact that i couldn't understand what he was saying is probably actually a good thing because

00:14:45.340 if he said anything that was leftist or anti-american or whatever i totally missed it as did everybody

00:14:50.120 else and pretty good i'll take it someone pointed out to me that this guy kendrick lamar is a huge

00:14:56.360 left winger radically pro-abortion when roe v wade was overruled he did some deeply sacrilegious

00:15:01.960 performance where he pretended to be christ and was advocating for murdering babies and and so i don't

00:15:07.600 know i don't know anything really about that however what i do know is if that is who that guy is

00:15:13.160 the fact that his super bowl halftime show was just kind of generally patriotic and featured sam jackson

00:15:21.300 as uncle sam great even if his personal views are anti-american contrary to the good the true and the

00:15:29.520 the fact that the culture has forced him to get with the program and make a pro-american halftime show

00:15:38.960 great i love it i love it and it was clear that there were cultural pressures to do that in the

00:15:44.400 stadium because trump was at the game yesterday and when trump stood up when he when attention was

00:15:50.820 called his presence there he got an ovation there he is big big round of applause now when another

00:16:08.940 prominent person was uh put on the big screen they called attention to the number one chiefs fan taylor swift

00:16:16.600 taylor swift got booed

00:16:20.400 she just looks there's a wait what are they booing me i'm not even a huge taylor hater i know some

00:16:38.720 people really dislike taylor swift i feel perfectly lukewarm about her however she probably shouldn't

00:16:45.640 have endorsed kamala i'll tell you that if she didn't want to get booed at the stadium she probably 1.00

00:16:52.580 should not have endorsed kamala okay this was a major cultural shift this is a new day this is evidence

00:17:03.660 that culture is downstream of politics okay it's a symbiotic relationship and cultural movements

00:17:13.340 lead to certain political incidents and electoral changes which in turn lead to more cultural shifts

00:17:21.480 however had trump not won in november the commercials would have been way worse the halftime show would

00:17:29.760 have been way worse taylor wouldn't have been booed it is there are consequences to electoral politics

00:17:37.900 trump won in november and all of corporate america just shifted okay all of a sudden oh they like having

00:17:48.560 trump there what an honor to have the president here all of a sudden the people who called him hitler for

00:17:55.500 now almost a decade look ridiculous because most americans voted for this guy and corporate america took

00:18:04.440 note okay now speaking of the trump administration there's a big controversy that has occurred over

00:18:11.900 the past few days the controversy is that a member of elon's doge team the government efficiency department 0.58

00:18:18.960 he got caught making offensive posts to social media this guy i'm not talking about big balls i'm talking 0.56

00:18:27.960 about big balls's colleague former colleague he former and future colleague i guess because he got 0.90

00:18:34.080 fired for making spicy offensive posts online one of which notably was normalize indian hate

00:18:43.260 which is not look i really like indians you know but it's kind of a funny post to make normalize indian

00:18:48.580 hate so that seems out of the blue and he got fired for that jd vance whose wife and children

00:18:56.580 whose wife is indian and whose children are half indian responded in this way he said here's my 0.98

00:19:03.740 view i obviously disagree with some of elez's posts but i don't think stupid social media activity should 0.91

00:19:09.480 ruin a kid's life we shouldn't reward journalists who try to destroy people ever so i say bring him back

00:19:15.940 if he's a bad dude or a terrible member of the team fire him for that beautiful this it's also hard

00:19:24.040 to imagine this kind of response from the vice president to a staffer being fired for you know

00:19:29.420 racist social media posts it's hard to imagine that even four or five years ago and jd says you know

00:19:36.040 let's not reward these journalists they're digging up old social media posts from this kid and you know

00:19:41.720 he made some he posted spicily no one's denying that but i don't think look if he's bad on the for the 0.89

00:19:47.680 job then fire him for that but we're gonna fire him for making crude jokes on social media i don't

00:19:52.320 think so roe kanna who is a democrat member of congress responds he goes are you gonna tell him

00:19:59.920 to apologize for saying normalize indian hate before this rehire just asking for the sake of both of our

00:20:07.640 kids so he responds with the concern troll our kids are because this guy working for this department

00:20:18.580 in the federal government because he made jokes about indians on on social media our kids are in

00:20:24.460 grave danger and jd just came in with the smackdown he said for the sake of both of our kids grow up

00:20:35.000 racist trolls on the internet while offensive don't threaten my kids you know what does a culture

00:20:43.060 that denies grace to people who make mistakes a culture that encourages congressmen to act like 0.98

00:20:49.600 whiny children this is good he goes on i cannot overstate how much i loathe this emotional blackmail

00:20:58.520 pretending to be concerned my kids god willing will be risk takers they won't think constantly about

00:21:03.980 whether a flippant comment or a wrong viewpoint will follow them around for the rest of their lives 0.99

00:21:09.080 they will tell stupid jokes they will develop views that they later think are wrong or even gross 0.93

00:21:15.360 i made mistakes as a kid and thank god i grew up in a culture that encouraged me to grow and learn and 1.00

00:21:20.560 feel remorse when i screwed up and offer grace when others did you disgust me

00:21:26.540 oh man jd is just killing it last week we get the sitting vice president giving lectures on scholastic

00:21:40.860 philosophy on television and then explicating them in latin on twitter so already wow we're in and now

00:21:47.900 we get this kind of absolutely beautiful so the media then have to ask okay well hold on

00:21:55.000 is jd getting a little out in front of his skis here are you what does trump think about what does

00:22:01.400 trump think about rehiring the man who made offensive social media posts part of this doge cost cutting

00:22:10.060 effort uh one of the doge engineers was fired for some inappropriate posts the vice president says

00:22:16.960 bring him back what do you say i don't know about the particular thing but if the vice president said

00:22:22.820 that did you say that i'm with the vice president oh what a great answer what the whole thing is just

00:24:54.040 i don't know if you've heard about this fella kanye west he's uh he's been making a few such

00:25:01.400 posts on the internet he's back on twitter he's he's tweeting pretty much entirely in all caps

00:25:07.920 which is always a sign of self-control and serious thought and i'm not going to go through all of them

00:25:14.900 but a handful of these posts are well for instance in all caps i'm a nazi or a hitler was so fresh

00:25:24.700 or he had one i think he deleted it but it was about how jews should be slaves and you have to

00:25:29.700 enslave all the jews uh he had another one attacking his friend dave chappelle which i thought was

00:25:35.260 particularly crazy because dave chappelle did a joke on saturday night live actually defending kanye

00:25:41.380 but kanye didn't understand that and so he thought that dave was making fun of him and went after him

00:25:46.080 for it even though dave was clearly trying to help kanye uh in one of the posts he called the jp morgan

00:25:52.260 ceo jamie diamond a jew uh jamie diamond is greek he's not non-jewish i believe he's christian uh and

00:25:59.080 then he had one beyond the hitler stuff he had one uh about how much he loves porn i think he's

00:26:05.340 actually had multiple posts about how much he loves porn but in one of them i guess this does tie in with 0.97

00:26:09.120 the jewish stuff he says i want to thank jews for porn i'm not being sarcastic i love porn 0.75

00:26:15.220 which is believable because kanye has previously admitted to having a porn addiction and earlier he 0.96

00:26:22.800 said that his porn addiction actually ruined his marriage and and was a big factor in his divorce

00:26:27.640 he said but jesus is going to heal everything and now he's he's very pro-porn and he's been posting a

00:26:32.420 lot of porn so that's another reason why i'm not going to actually be showing any of the tweets 0.96

00:26:38.440 happily i've avoided most of them other than he posted some pictures of his wife naked because 0.95

00:26:42.900 he took his wife to the grammys and had her stripped down totally naked uh not great and then i found out

00:26:47.840 today i didn't see it last night but kanye apparently took out a super bowl ad not nationally but in a

00:26:54.620 couple of media markets and this is the ad so what's up guys i spent like all the money for the

00:27:05.200 commercial um on these new teeth

00:27:08.860 so once again i had to shoot it on the iphone um

00:27:16.200 go to yeezy.com

00:27:24.860 okay go to yeezy.com a little bit of a low low production value super bowl commercial but

00:27:34.520 it's all right let's see let's go check it out so you go to yeezy.com we have a little

00:27:39.000 little screen recording okay let's go to yeezy.com that pulls up this site with just one little t-shirt

00:27:45.020 up in the corner the only thing on yeezy.com the only thing on yeezy.com is this tiny little

00:27:54.920 thumbnail of a t-shirt in the upper left corner and then you click on the thumbnail and it's just

00:28:00.080 a white shirt with a black swastika on it so

00:28:03.680 so that's not great that's not great what's going on here what's going on with kanye

00:28:12.020 i think it could be a few things it could be that he just lost it after his divorce i've seen this

00:28:21.580 with friends of mine who've gotten divorced they just kind of lose it usually it's temporary with

00:28:26.320 kanye it seems to be dragging on a little bit more but guys who get divorced do lose their minds a

00:28:31.260 little bit because it's your whole world just being exploded so it could be that could be that

00:28:36.680 kanye has always been a little bit shall we say eccentric you know this is not a new thing you

00:28:41.920 remember in 2003 or 4 whenever it was when when he after hurricane katrina when kanye went on tv

00:28:49.600 said george bush doesn't care about black people then there was the taylor swift thing when he went up

00:28:56.860 at the grammys and took the microphone from her and said hey you know i'll let you finish taylor but

00:29:01.260 beyonce the best album of all time so he's always been a little a little out there however i have

00:29:07.700 another theory of a contributing factor to kanye's public breakdown and it's his jesus is king album

00:29:17.240 you remember some years ago kanye came out with this album jesus is king and i don't like kanye's

00:29:25.220 music generally i don't really like hip-hop or rap or any of that stuff however i listened to the

00:29:30.600 whole album and it was pretty good there were there were some good bits actually a friend of mine wrote

00:29:35.300 the bridge on one of the songs actually a friend of mine who's jewish even even funnier wrote the 0.94

00:29:41.440 bridge on one of the songs water we are water like a newborn daughter and it was it was a pretty nice

00:29:48.220 album and it was this big cultural shift wow you've got one of the biggest pop culture figures

00:29:52.120 making a modern day gospel album i remember at the time kanye was saying during his recording

00:29:59.540 sessions nobody could be fornicating he had these sunday services which were these kind of vague

00:30:05.100 vaguely christian kind of meetup groups and they go out into the middle of a field somewhere and it was

00:30:10.660 it was a little out there but there was something really beautiful about it he apparently had this big

00:30:16.720 conversion and now this now he's i mean even putting the hitler stuff aside which is quite bad

00:30:24.260 even just the porn even just the porn of it all this way that he's degrading his wife and he's posting 0.84

00:30:31.500 pornography all over twitter and he's he's kind of just delectating in his own vice and his addiction

00:30:38.480 to pornography and to say nothing about all the all the hitler stuff it it it reminds me that when

00:30:45.720 people convert i've i've just seen this happen when people convert it attracts the attention of

00:30:52.820 principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places okay as saint paul tells us in the

00:30:57.760 letter to the ephesians it when one converts that can be and often is a very spiritually intense time and a

00:31:07.260 very dangerous time and especially if you're kanye west you're one of the biggest figures in the pop

00:31:12.580 culture and you are maybe causing people to think about religion again for the first time maybe to

00:31:19.540 turn to god which i think he actually did with the jesus is king album that they're going to be the

00:31:25.680 secularists and the agnostics and the atheists are going to tune me out right now but i'm just it's 0.96

00:31:30.060 just a fact so you got to deal with it the devil doesn't like that okay the devil really doesn't like

00:31:36.160 that and he's going to redouble his efforts to grab you and our lord in the gospels tells us about this

00:31:42.260 he says you know when a guy gets a spiritual house in order and he cleans evil spirits out of his house

00:31:48.380 well sometimes what's going to happen if he's not careful is that that evil spirit is going to go

00:31:54.400 around and he's going to get like six or seven of his buddies and then he's going to go right back

00:31:58.620 into that cleanly swept house and the the guy is going to be worse off than he was in the first place

00:32:03.560 because because now he's going to be even more brimming with with diabolical forces okay and our

00:32:11.580 lord tells us about you know the the mustard seed that falls on bad ground and it's choked off and

00:32:16.620 dies or the blows away with the wind or if it doesn't find good fertile ground it's going to just

00:32:22.160 disappear that's what i fear is going on with kanye so anyway if he listens to this segment which he

00:32:27.700 should i hope he takes that to heart hope he takes that to mind that would be good that the radical

00:32:33.000 tweets which frankly i think that the hitler tweets are more or less just a way to shock because to

00:32:38.580 say i love hitler as he did on alex jones look maybe he just truly hates the jews that might be

00:32:43.240 part of it but part of it also is that in the modern mythos hitler is understood as the embodiment of

00:32:48.440 evil so the most shocking thing you can possibly say is i love hitler and he's saying that and he's

00:32:53.440 getting a lot of attention for it so he's achieving his end in that way but there's a lot of darkness 0.98

00:32:59.000 underneath all of that then to be posting i don't know porn and your wife naked and all it's 0.91

00:33:04.840 not good bro not good watch out you know you you were on a good path for a while if you've been 0.96

00:33:11.760 pushed off that path it's not too late to get back on on the right one now speaking of race relations

00:33:17.640 president trump has just cut off all aid to south africa and he has done this

00:33:25.100 because south africa is targeting white people in the country and murdering them and robbing them 0.55

00:33:31.880 and you've got one of the major south african political leaders who many expect to be the 0.95

00:33:36.520 actual president of the country someday julius melima singing things like this

00:33:42.500 you

00:33:43.500 you

00:33:51.940 but

00:33:52.840 you

00:34:01.380 Obama! Brr, pa! Pa! Brr, pa! Pa! Attention!

00:34:11.760 Shoot to kill, kill the Boer, which is just the white people in South Africa. Shoot to kill, 1.00

00:34:15.900 shoot to kill. So that's not great. And President Trump is cutting off all aid to South Africa as 1.00

00:34:21.120 a result. He said, quote, South Africa is confiscating land and treating certain classes

00:34:25.600 of people, namely white people, very badly. It is a bad situation that the radical left media

00:34:29.660 doesn't want to so much as mention. A massive human rights violation is happening for all to see.

00:34:34.820 The United States won't stand for it. We will act. Also, because of this, I'll be cutting off all

00:34:38.520 aid to South Africa until further notice. He's also prioritizing the resettlement of the Boa, 0.79

00:34:44.740 of the Fama, of the Afrikaners, the white people there. More than 10,000 white South African farmers

00:34:50.120 have expressed interest in relocating to the U.S. following this executive order. Some people are

00:34:55.880 suggesting that the reason Trump is doing this actually has more to do with grand strategy than

00:35:01.520 with South Africa in particular. Because the U.S. supports the state of Israel. We have a close

00:35:05.960 alliance with the state of Israel. And South Africa recently brought a genocide case against the state

00:35:11.340 of Israel in the international criminal court. So some people are saying, oh, it's just, it's actually

00:35:17.240 really just about the Israel thing. It's not about the white, the farmers. The farmers have been 0.92

00:35:20.960 targeted in Africa, South Africa for years and years now. However, I don't think that's really

00:35:25.720 persuasive. Because Trump is taking this on in the very earliest days of his second term.

00:35:33.620 The second term going much harder, much more focused than the first term. So I don't really

00:35:38.840 think that's true. In fact, I think the simpler explanation is that one of the most prominent guys

00:35:44.360 in Trump's ear right now is a South African named Elon Musk. And so he's calling attention to this.

00:35:50.020 And I think it's really, really good. Because I'm not opposed to any refugee resettlement. I think

00:35:56.700 we just need to seriously rethink it because the refugee program has been exploited by the left

00:36:01.140 to just import a bunch of people that they think are going to vote for them. So in this case, okay,

00:36:05.020 10,000 South African farmers who are being threatened with murder by some of the political

00:36:09.680 leaders in the country. That seems like a pretty good thing to do. Yeah, I'm fine with that. Plus,

00:36:15.200 when we take in the South African farmers as refugees, that will also turn the left against 0.99

00:36:21.040 refugee resettlement generally. They'll probably try to stop them at the border. They'll probably 1.00

00:36:28.060 try to sink their boats as they're coming over from South Africa. At The Daily Wire, we break the

00:37:09.800 My favorite comment yesterday is from Annabelle Sabangan 7565, who says,

00:37:16.900 I'm from a country receiving aid from the U.S. I agree with your president. I don't and wouldn't

00:37:21.560 whine about it. Your country and its citizens should come first. Make America great again.

00:37:26.560 Hard. Well, and Naib Bukele, actually, the leader of El Salvador, recently pointed out, he said, you know,

00:37:32.020 that aid isn't always such a great thing for the countries that receive it, because USAID is just a

00:37:38.040 way for the U.S. to use its soft power to control countries around the world. And when it's being

00:37:44.100 used by a corrupt political elite, then often what it does is foments revolutions and upends the

00:37:51.800 traditional ways of life that people want to practice in their own countries. So even just from

00:37:56.880 the standpoint of the recipients, say, do you really want that aid? Comes with a lot of strings.

00:38:01.760 Now, we are seeing a lot of follow through with the Trump administration.

00:38:08.980 In the first term, it was a little more scattered, and some of the staff members were just not that

00:38:13.940 good. Some were good, but some were not that good. Here, you're seeing Trump tweets out, he says,

00:38:18.620 or posts on Truth Social, says, we're going to cut off aid to South Africa. Marco Rubio says he will

00:38:23.840 not attend the G20. He says, I will not attend the G20 in Johannesburg. South Africa is doing very bad

00:38:29.960 things, expropriating private property, using G20 to promote solidarity, equality, and sustainability.

00:38:35.640 In other words, DEI and climate change. My job is to advance America's national interests,

00:38:39.960 not waste taxpayer money or coddle anti-Americanism. Love this. Love this. When Trump tweets,

00:38:46.380 now in the second term, there is follow through. Okay. This is why it was so important for Trump

00:38:54.260 to threaten Colombia with the tariffs, threaten Canada and Mexico, be willing to follow through 1.00

00:39:01.780 on it, actually levy tariffs on China. And those were all just kind of the amuse-bouche, I think,

00:39:06.740 to the actual tariff program, which hasn't kicked in yet. This is why it's so important. Trump has to

00:39:12.480 follow through on threats sometimes. That's the only way that you can have credibility. It's like in

00:39:17.600 poker. You can't just bluff all the time. Sometimes you really have to have the royal flush.

00:39:20.980 Speaking of executive actions, President Trump is killing the penny. He's killing the penny. You

00:39:27.580 know the penny? Like your pennies in your pocket. You probably don't have any because no one has

00:39:30.520 change anymore or even cash. Well, the problem with the penny is it costs more to produce than

00:39:36.280 it's actually worth. And Trump says, quote, for far too long, the United States has minted pennies,

00:39:41.420 which literally cost us more than two cents. This is so wasteful. I've instructed my secretary of

00:39:46.040 the U.S. Treasury to stop producing new pennies. Let's rip the waste out of our great nation's 0.62

00:39:50.960 budget, even if it's a penny at a time. This is also important symbolically. It'll save a little

00:39:56.820 bit of money, but symbolically it's important because of some good old advice that my godmother

00:40:01.900 used to give me, which is that you got to save pennies to spend dollars. Back during the Tea Party,

00:40:09.000 we were told the only way to actually fix the federal budget problems, the only way to tackle

00:40:16.400 deficits and the national debt, was to reform entitlements. That is to say, cut Social Security

00:40:22.640 and Medicare. That's the lion's share of the federal budget. It's the only way to fix it.

00:40:27.800 That was very unpopular and Republicans lost because they ran on cutting entitlements.

00:40:32.280 When Trump ran in 2016, he upended that recent GOP orthodoxy and he said, I will not touch entitlements.

00:40:38.680 I will not touch your Social Security or your Medicare.

00:40:40.900 That was more successful. Okay. So now, how are you going to deal with debt and deficits?

00:40:47.480 You're going to do things like Doge. You're going to do things like end pennies. And the question is,

00:40:53.080 can these guys, can Elon in particular, cut enough waste and bloat in the federal government

00:41:00.300 to begin to make a dent into the fiscal problem? And if you had asked me six months ago, I would have

00:41:07.780 said, probably not. And it still remains to be seen because judges are trying to stop Doge right now

00:41:15.260 and trying to throw wrenches into Trump's plans. However, Elon seems to be cutting a lot.

00:41:23.360 And he has to. Because if you have this fiscal catastrophe waiting for you, actually already

00:41:32.520 kind of occurring because our debt is something like 125% of GDP. If you've got this fiscal problem

00:41:38.920 right there so close to you, and you're not going to take on the easiest way to fix the debt,

00:41:45.640 the easiest way technically, though the hardest way politically, then you've got to do something

00:41:50.860 elsewhere. And I guess the second best option is to do stuff like this. But if you save pennies,

00:41:55.920 you might be able to spend dollars. Now, another historic executive order. President Trump just

00:42:02.540 signed a proclamation while flying over a certain body of water to the south of the United States.

00:42:08.780 Gulf of Mexico done with. Gulf of America is here.

00:42:14.880 Air Force One is currently in international waters. For the first time in history flying over the

00:42:19.880 recently renamed Gulf of America. Please enjoy the flight. And we are now about to head westbound

00:42:26.120 to the Super Bowl 59. Wow. He did that well.

00:42:32.760 Make America great again, right? That's what we care about. Okay. Here we go.

00:42:49.880 So this is a famous pen now. This is a famous pen now. It's the Gulf of America pen. It's that easy.

00:43:01.480 I remember when Trump said he was going to rename the Gulf of Mexico, people said,

00:43:04.360 you can't just do that. No, you can. We can do things. We're a big act. Okay. We can just rename

00:43:11.120 it if we want. And you know the libs are going to keep calling this the Gulf of Mexico, 0.92

00:43:14.680 which is a political masterstroke from Trump. Because the libs are then going to put themselves 0.63

00:43:20.360 in a position favoring Mexico and opposing America. You know, they're not going to call

00:43:25.720 it the Gulf of America because they hate Trump so much and they hate America, but they're at the

00:43:29.580 very least because they hate Trump. It's actually the Gulf of Mexico, you know, and it's actually

00:43:32.860 been named that for as many years. Okay. Well, now Trump just puts you in a position where you're

00:43:38.500 taking the side of Mexico against the side of America. Great. Cool. Love it. It's just like 0.85

00:43:43.200 Trump did this with plastic straws. Trump also has an executive order now and he says he's going

00:43:48.880 to bring back plastic straws. He goes, I'll be signing executive order next week, ending the

00:43:53.400 ridiculous Biden push for paper straws, which don't work. Back to plastic. This is another political

00:43:59.220 masterstroke. One, because Trump is signaling there is no issue too small, no issue too seemingly trivial

00:44:06.920 for him to take on. He's going to fix everything. He's going to pay attention to the details.

00:44:13.200 Because it's sometimes in the details that the rot begins. And because he's going to now make the

00:44:19.340 libs defend paper straws, but everyone hates paper straws. Some of the biggest libs in the country

00:44:25.140 hate paper straws because they just turn to pulp and you can't actually drink your iced tea or your

00:44:30.360 Diet Coke or whatever. They're awful. So this is, some people say it's an 80, 20 political issue.

00:44:35.640 I think it's like a 90, 10 political issue. And Trump is forcing the libs to take the side that 0.75

00:44:40.400 only 10% agrees with. Beautiful stuff. The libs are so furious about this. 0.93

00:44:46.300 They're saying, because they have a distorted view of what the American public wants,

00:44:50.360 they're saying that this is not the Trump that the people elected. Ben Rhodes, Ben Rhodes,

00:44:57.040 who was an Obama speech writer. He ended up on the national security team.

00:45:00.260 He has this guest essay in the New York Times. This isn't the Donald Trump America elected.

00:45:09.040 This isn't it. We don't want this. We don't want the Trump who's cutting the government,

00:45:14.960 USAID, and expanding America's interests. I'm not going to read the whole piece. You can read it

00:45:23.220 yourself if you want. There's no reason to. You get the thesis in the headline. This isn't the Donald

00:45:27.920 Trump America elected. Well, I have another article here from CBS News, not exactly the most right-wing

00:45:32.600 outlet. It says, CBS News poll, Trump has positive approval amid energetic opening weeks, seen as doing

00:45:41.900 what he promised. It comes out, I think, the same day. Is it the same day? Yeah, it is. The same day

00:45:51.040 as Ben Rhodes' stupid column in the New York Times. You get actual data. It says, Ben Rhodes is totally 1.00

00:45:56.640 wrong. This is exactly the Trump America elected. If you go down in the article, it says, with most

00:46:01.800 describing him as tough, energetic, focused, and effective, and as doing what he'd promised during

00:46:07.140 his campaign. That's the key there. Doing what he promised, that means it's the Trump America elected.

00:46:11.200 President Trump has started his term with net positive marks from Americans overall, 53% approval.

00:46:16.260 His deportation policy, one of the most controversial, finds majority approval overall,

00:46:22.500 just as most voters said they wanted during the campaign.

00:46:24.420 And that extends to sending troops to the border, too. Many say he's doing more than they expected.

00:46:30.180 And so that part, you could say, well, it's not, that's not the Trump America voted for. Except,

00:46:34.280 CBS goes on, of those who say this, most like what they see. Very few think he's doing less.

00:46:40.680 A large majority say he's doing what he said he would, whether they approve of him or not. 70% say that.

00:46:46.780 This isn't, I love this. This happened in the first term. You had a bunch of people who hated

00:46:53.860 Trump from the beginning, even some on the right. He gets elected, and then they say, okay, well,

00:46:58.220 this is actually what Trump means, and this is actually what he should do, and this is actually

00:47:00.960 what the people want. Bro, you'd have no idea what the people want. You thought that Trump was going

00:47:05.280 to go down in flames. You, Democrats and Republicans, you thought he was going to go down in flames.

00:47:08.720 You thought he was a total joke, and then he got elected. And this time, you got the same thing.

00:47:14.440 Ben Rhodes, who's, as far as I can tell, never been right about anything, certainly wasn't right

00:47:19.520 in this election. He goes, okay, well, actually, this is what Americans want from the Trump term.

00:47:24.000 You know, I'm going to trust Trump and the self-professed views of the American people

00:47:28.800 over some washed up former Obama flag. It is Music Monday, baby. The rest of the show continues now.
