The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1887 - George Floyd 2.0, Leftists Call For Murder Of ICE Agents

00:00:00.000 More details come out about the woman who was killed trying to run over an ICE agent

00:00:04.060 in Minneapolis. The protests about it are spreading to cities coast to coast

00:00:08.560 as leftists call for the murder of more ICE agents, as well as the murder of DHS Secretary

00:00:14.920 Kristi Noem. And it feels like deja vu all over again, doesn't it? They say history doesn't

00:00:22.500 repeat itself, but it does rhyme. And there are winks of providence here because there's

00:00:26.660 meaning imbued in all of history. And in this case, we're looking at leftists committing

00:00:33.140 violence over a false narrative peddled by the media following an officer-involved killing

00:00:39.700 in Minneapolis. It's even the same city as George Floyd five years later. But in this case,

00:00:47.760 especially following a remarkable press conference from Vice President J.D. Vance, which we'll

00:00:52.020 get to. In this case, public officials have the opportunity to avoid, to correct all of

00:00:59.380 the mistakes that they made in the year of our Floyd five years ago. I'm Michael Knowles.

00:01:03.440 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:01:19.220 Welcome back to the show. We are now getting direct threats to kill ICE officers. And what

00:01:30.600 the Trump administration does next really, really matters. Also, speaking of radicalization,

00:01:34.780 the United Arab Emirates are now cutting off funding for their own students to go study in

00:01:40.200 the United Kingdom because they're afraid that the UAE Arabs might be radicalized in Britain.

00:01:49.480 They might be lured into radical Islam in Britain. We'll get to that. Radicalization everywhere. 0.97

00:03:22.620 We got new footage from the SUV incident, the shooting in Minneapolis. We covered two or

00:03:30.140 three angles yesterday on the show. Now we even have clearer evidence. This is from the

00:03:34.980 front of the SUV by way of CNN, of all places.

00:03:39.620 As the vehicle passes, you can see the dark-colored SUV driven by Renee Nicole Gooden.

00:03:45.380 That's on the right there in the back. You have the officer in front of the SUV.

00:03:48.260 This is a surveillance video taken by a home nearby. Agents can be seen milling about near

00:03:52.360 the vehicle, then converging on it. There's the officer in front, and there you go. So this is

00:03:56.680 the false narrative that the media are trying to peddle is that the officer was on the side of the

00:04:02.720 car, and he shoots her through the open driver door window. There are many, many libs, like normal 0.98

00:04:08.900 libs, like your aunt or somebody, who think that's what happened. That is not what happened.

00:04:13.300 You now have multiple angles from the front, even brought to you by CNN. So it's a liberal news

00:04:20.540 channel showing that the officer is in front of the car. Okay, that's enough CNN. We've had enough

00:04:27.300 CNN. Now we have another angle here. This is from the slow motion footage, but specifically of the

00:04:35.760 wheel of the SUV. So one of the claims, the most ridiculous claim being peddled is that the officer 0.53

00:04:43.280 wasn't in front of the car. He was on the side, and he shoots her through the open driver door 0.76

00:04:47.200 window. That is just completely made up. There's no, not true at all. In fact, we have the bullet

00:04:52.860 hole through the front windshield. Then the people who admit, okay, yes, there was another officer who

00:04:57.800 was in front of the SUV. The argument they're making is that the woman turned her wheel before she 1.00

00:05:03.660 hit the gas. She turned her wheel to try to get out of the way. She wasn't trying to run the guy 0.78

00:05:08.420 over. She was trying to get out of the way. And so she turned her wheel before she hit the gas.

00:05:14.620 Some are trying to argue that the officer shot before she hit the gas. That's totally untenable.

00:05:19.920 But this really narrow argument that, which again is kind of immaterial because this is all happening

00:05:26.900 in a split second. So the officer still would have been justified if she starts moving her car, 0.74

00:05:30.800 he's in front of it, even if technically the wheel were going the other way.

00:05:34.020 But even that narrative isn't true because we have the slow-mo footage. Here, take a look.

00:05:39.880 So the woman backs up. There you go. There you have it. She backs up, 1.00

00:05:45.600 hits the gas directly into the officer, and then turns the wheel. Give it to me again. Hits the gas

00:05:54.700 directly into the officer, and then the wheel turns. In fact, the only reason that she didn't

00:06:01.320 run him over before he could discharge his weapon is because it's Minneapolis. It's winter. There was

00:06:07.220 ice on the ground, and she hit it so fast, the wheel spun. You know this if you've ever tried to

00:06:11.660 accelerate, even on dry roads. Sometimes your wheel spins a little bit before you go.

00:06:15.340 Now, had she had better tires, had the road been less icy, that officer would be smushed. 0.99

00:06:23.960 You don't need to conclude from this that this woman set out that morning to go murder an ice 0.99

00:06:28.120 officer. You don't have to conclude from this even that in the moment, in this moment where she's

00:06:32.800 clearly got adrenaline pumping, she's excited, she's probably scared, she doesn't know what to do.

00:06:38.600 She's been told that these people are fascists or whatever. I don't know. She has crazy ideology in

00:06:42.020 her head. Regardless, you don't need to think that she consciously said, I'm going to run this guy 0.76

00:06:46.980 over. But the one thing you cannot deny is that she hit the gas with her tires pointed in the direction

00:06:57.480 of the officer, would have run him over, and he fires the gun. That is undeniable, even if you're on

00:07:06.800 that woman's side, which you shouldn't be. You can feel sorry for the woman. You can pray for the woman.

00:07:11.180 You should pray, could pray for her family. You should do all of those things. But even if you're

00:07:14.700 on the woman's side, which you should not be, you have to admit, it's right there before your very 1.00

00:07:21.320 eyes. Some of this footage is brought to you by CNN, okay? There is no doubt as to the facts.

00:07:30.300 The officer was entirely in the right. This isn't one of these, well, I mean, maybe, you know,

00:07:35.580 I don't know. It's kind of ambiguous. It's not ambiguous. He was entirely in the right.

00:07:39.120 She was entirely in the wrong. You can, and I think you should, feel sad about it. You don't

00:07:47.120 want the woman to die. She was fed a bunch of crazy ideology. She's clearly emotionally unregulated. 1.00

00:07:53.780 Every man's death diminishes me because I am part of humanity. You know, no man is an island

00:08:00.020 entire unto himself. All those things. But it's not, the facts are not ambiguous.

00:08:05.000 There's also no doubt what she was up to. She was there to obstruct law enforcement. We now have

00:08:13.320 this thanks to, where is this? The New York Post. Do I have, here we go. New York Post article

00:08:17.980 published yesterday. Woman's name was Renee Nicole Good. Renee Nicole Good was Minneapolis ice watch

00:08:24.500 warrior who trained to resist feds before shooting. So there's another false narrative that the media are

00:08:29.880 telling you, which is that this was just a mother who was out, you know, to pick up her kids or

00:08:34.960 something. And she found herself in a bad situation. That's the most ridiculous narrative that this was

00:08:41.420 an innocent, naive little dove. That's the most ridiculous. Oh, she just happened to find herself 1.00

00:08:45.700 there. And these cops unprompted decided to surround her vehicle. The more plausible, but still

00:08:51.700 ridiculous argument is, well, no, she was there to stop the ice officers, but it was just because,

00:08:58.440 you know, she's a good Samaritan protecting the innocent face tattooed gangsters. You know, 1.00

00:09:03.940 it's because it just came upon her suddenly. And she had this extemporaneous impulse to stop the

00:09:11.920 police officers. But the reality is a little different from that. She trained to obstruct law 0.99

00:09:18.040 enforcement. So I mentioned yesterday, I don't think this woman was an anarchist terrorist or something. 1.00

00:09:25.460 I don't think it was like the Antifa guys who showed up to a talk that I was giving at the

00:09:30.220 University of Pittsburgh, having trained with black block cells in anarchist bookshops,

00:09:34.700 throwing Molotov cocktails and fireworks and that sort of thing. I don't think she's that.

00:09:40.480 She's also not just a concerned mom or a woman who found herself in a bad situation.

00:09:45.800 She's somewhere in between those two things. She's not, you know, one of these 1920s anarchists

00:09:54.560 setting off bombs on Wall Street. She's not that. But she was actively trying to undermine law 1.00

00:10:02.100 enforcement. She was actively opposing law enforcement. She was actively aiding and abetting

00:10:06.300 criminals. And she was operating a very deadly weapon, namely an SUV that she used to nearly run over 0.96

00:10:12.880 a cop. She was somewhere in the middle of those two things. And no one wants to admit that kind of

00:10:18.160 ambiguity. No one wants to admit that blurriness. In part, I think the reason people don't want to

00:10:24.580 admit that blurriness is it indicts a lot of our countrymen. I saw this firsthand after Charlie was

00:10:32.000 murdered. This was three, four months ago now. What was so shocking, so scandalous about that was,

00:10:38.100 well, the first thing was the fact that Charlie would be murdered on a university campus for having

00:10:41.960 respectful dialogue with people. That was the first thing that was scandalous. But this very nearly as

00:10:47.560 scandalous was the fact that so many of our fellow Americans would support it, would celebrate it

00:10:52.900 even. Because it means that, like that girl you went to math class with, it means your coworker,

00:11:00.540 it means your classmate, it means your neighbor is much more radical, much more prone to violence,

00:11:08.660 much more supportive of political violence than you would otherwise expect. And it's kind of scary

00:11:13.880 that this woman probably was like a kind of bougie lib, definitely lib, but kind of just bougie 0.94

00:11:19.780 Minneapolis white lady. And that she would train and endeavor to obstruct federal law enforcement that 1.00

00:11:28.780 you usually don't, we're not used to those two things being together. And yet increasingly,

00:11:35.640 they are. Well, that's what she is. Now, other bougie white ladies who have been trying to obstruct law 1.00

00:11:42.620 enforcement, they are concluding from this incident that maybe they shouldn't be doing that. We'll get 0.92

00:11:49.000 to that in a moment. One woman went viral on TikTok for it. First, I want to tell you about Brickhouse

00:11:52.200 Nutrition. Go to takelean.com, enter code Knowles. This episode is sponsored by Brickhouse Nutrition. By the

00:11:58.840 time the average person reaches 60, they've likely cycled through numerous fad diets, the juice cleanses,

00:12:04.300 the cabbage soup diet, the raw food regimens, collectively losing and regaining several hundred

00:12:09.620 pounds over the years. You've probably done it without knowing there's a name for it, weight

00:12:13.380 cycling. You lose 10 pounds, you feel great, then you watch them creep back on, plus a few extra.

00:12:17.900 Half of Americans are stuck in this frustrating cycle, and doctors are now seeing it's not just

00:12:22.360 disappointing, it can be dangerous. Truth is, most of us need more than willpower to break free from

00:12:26.580 this pattern. That is where Brickhouse Nutrition's Lean comes in. Unlike those expensive GLP-1

00:12:32.360 injections, Lean is a non-prescription supplement created by doctors specifically for this problem.

00:12:37.560 The science behind it is solid. Lean tackles weight loss three ways that keep it off you.

00:12:43.100 Keeps your blood sugar steady, no more energy crashes that send you back to the snack cabinet.

00:12:47.880 It controls cravings and that constant hungry feeling, and it helps your body convert fat into

00:12:52.140 energy instead of storing it. When your body gets better at burning fat for fuel, that's when you see

00:12:56.340 lasting results instead of temporary losses. I really, really recommend this. Multiple producers and

00:13:02.180 employees at the DW have tried Lean. They're so impressed by how effective Lean has been in a

00:13:06.540 short period of time. If you want to lose meaningful weight at a healthy pace, keep it off. Add Lean to

00:13:23.920 All right, you guys, I just watched the video of the woman in Minneapolis. Don't go watch it,

00:13:33.260 okay, if you don't think you can handle it. It is the most frightening thing I have seen in a long

00:13:41.000 time. This woman was driving away in her car, and they put their weapon in there and hit her in the 0.98

00:13:50.860 face multiple times. This is not right. This was not self-defense. This was an execution.

00:14:02.200 I am shocked because only a few weeks ago, I was driving around this town that I live in in Charlotte

00:14:12.480 doing very similar things, looking for ICE agents, trying to prevent them from kidnapping people off

00:14:20.440 the street. And there was a lot of other people out there doing that on a daily basis, as is our

00:14:28.480 right to drive around the streets of our city. It's frightening right now. Okay, the last part is

00:14:37.140 really all that matters. It's frightening right now, because you can tell how confused this woman is.

00:14:41.440 She might be sincere, but she's so confused. She says the woman was trying to drive away.

00:14:45.100 Maybe she was trying to drive, but she wasn't actually driving away. She was driving into a cop.

00:14:49.380 Says this woman was out there. They executed her. They're trying to do one of these Michael Brown

00:14:53.460 hands up, don't shoot lies. But we have all the video footage from all the angles, even on CNN.

00:14:59.440 Okay, we know that wasn't what happened. Then she says, this woman, she was just out there.

00:15:06.280 You know, she was just out there doing what? She was just trying to obstruct federal law enforcement. 1.00

00:15:11.480 And then she makes a submission. She goes, the other week I was driving around doing the same

00:15:15.020 thing, as is our right. Maybe she thinks that. But if there's any confusion, all who have ears to

00:15:21.880 hear, let them hear. You don't have a right to obstruct federal law enforcement or local law

00:15:27.160 enforcement, for that matter. You don't have that right. You think you have that right because

00:15:30.900 Democrat politicians have lied to you and have encouraged this and have allowed the anarchy to

00:15:35.640 fester and are largely responsible for that woman being killed. But you don't really have that right.

00:15:42.560 We're going to correct the record now. You don't have that right. And then she says,

00:15:46.220 and it's frightening there right now. Says I was out there doing this. A lot of people were out there

00:15:50.840 doing this. Obviously, a lot of people in Minneapolis were doing this. They were training people to do this.

00:15:55.160 And now we're frightened. Yes, this is the optimal political outcome for this very sad but necessary

00:16:05.580 event. This is the optimal outcome of enforcing the law is all these women who, whether they had 1.00

00:16:12.680 bad intentions, whether they are radical anarchists or whether they just don't know anything,

00:16:17.520 they don't know any better. Regardless, when you enforce the law, you frighten the people who break

00:16:24.220 the law and then fewer of them break the law and they do so more reluctantly. That's what we need.

00:16:33.980 What happens when you don't enforce the law is more and more people do this and more and more

00:16:38.160 empty-headed white ladies show up on the street and put themselves in a position where they're going 1.00

00:16:42.120 to be justifiably killed by a cop. And they're going to be shocked when it happens. That's what 0.99

00:16:47.500 happens when you don't enforce the law. That's one of the many, many injustices, cascading injustices

00:16:52.620 that come about as a result of not enforcing the law. And when you do enforce the law, you scare

00:16:56.920 that bumbling lady straight. I'm trying to be very polite and charitable in my words while still 1.00

00:17:03.540 being precise. You scare that lady who has whistles going through the ears, who's maybe not the sharpest 1.00

00:17:10.520 tool in the shed, not the brightest crayon in the box. How many more metaphors do I have to mix?

00:17:16.760 You allow people who don't know any better to behave in a better way. Some liberal white ladies 1.00

00:17:25.440 don't know how to respond. Here's one in Minnesota talking with an independent journalist.

00:17:30.680 So I mean, I'm just walking around kind of just a day side because I got up. I was like, I don't

00:17:37.800 know if it's the right thing to do. It feels kind of wrong being here in some way. I don't know why.

00:17:42.260 Why do you think? Yeah. I don't know. I don't know like where that stems from. Like I don't,

00:17:53.900 I mean, part of it is being like a white woman that I'm privileged and I have a lot of privilege.

00:17:59.680 Um, so I feel like white tears are not always something that's helpful or necessary. Um,

00:18:06.700 when black and brown people have been experiencing this for a long time, um, this isn't new for them.

00:18:11.900 And so, um, I don't know if that makes any sense in that way. Um, how did you decide that you should

00:18:19.220 be here? Are you still figuring that out? Um, well, I work, uh, like two miles from here. So, um,

00:18:25.800 driving by just, I don't, you know, it was like, I'm here. Um, I'm two miles. I can stop. Um,

00:18:32.580 Oh yeah. First point. Now that I'm watching it, that's one of ours. That's Brecca. That's a good

00:18:37.480 job. Daily wire. That was good. Good. That independent journalist is one of ours. And we

00:18:43.120 are kind of independent media. So I guess it's, we're, we're in that middle gate. 10 years ago,

00:18:46.600 we were totally renegade new media. And then the new media took over because the establishment

00:18:51.460 media fell apart. So a great, great interview from Brecca. That's awesome. Because she's getting

00:18:58.400 this woman to admit something, there is no end to the guilt, to the disordered thinking.

00:19:07.340 She says, I'm out here to mourn someone. I am mourning the death of this woman. I'm at least

00:19:13.940 praying for, I'm not losing sleep at night, but I'm sad. She died. I'm sad for her family. I'm sad for

00:19:18.020 her. And this woman goes out there. She is an ideological compatriot. She supports undermining 0.99

00:19:25.640 law enforcement. She supports mass migration. She supports breaking the law. She supports all 1.00

00:19:29.940 this stuff. And then she goes, but I don't, I shouldn't be crying for her because white tears

00:19:34.780 are terrible. You know, us white ladies are the worst. The woman who was killed is a white lady. 1.00

00:19:39.820 So even breaking the law, trying to run over a cop, getting killed for it on behalf of face-tattooed 1.00

00:19:49.280 criminal migrants, even that's not good enough. And white ladies shouldn't cry about it. And by 1.00

00:19:56.940 implication, we shouldn't cry for you. Bless her. Bless that white lady in the interview. 1.00

00:20:05.120 And bless these poor white ladies who are confused. They, they are not fit for this kind of politics. 1.00

00:20:13.460 They need to be guided and educated and led. They're very, I think a lot of them are probably

00:20:20.280 very nice. They have very nice impulses, but they're not being guided in the right. They're not being

00:20:26.200 husbanded. They're not. And so they're going into very bad places, into, into places that cause

00:20:33.820 a lot of injustice. This is that old line that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

00:20:41.280 I bet these white ladies have all the best intentions in the world, and it's leading them to 1.00

00:20:45.940 try to run over cops who are trying to deport murderers and rapists and drug traffickers and 0.99

00:20:52.320 human traffickers. Not good. Meanwhile, the rest of Minneapolis is threatening to murder 0.89

00:20:58.960 ICE officials explicitly.

00:21:03.820 Yeah. Do you see them?

00:21:20.040 Yonah cars, Yonah cops. 0.99

00:21:21.640 You're going to die. Kill ICE. 1.00

00:21:37.440 Hey, everyone on the sidewalk, cross the street. I just want to make sure you are here on the 0.98

00:21:41.840 risk you're taking on right now. We are not allowed to be on that side of the street. If

00:21:47.200 you want to be on that side of the street, we will find you. Okay. So these people who

00:21:51.800 are on camera, they're making direct threats. That is not protected by the First Amendment.

00:21:58.120 That is itself a crime. And the government, the federal government needs to go in and arrest

00:22:04.140 them. It's not just the direct threats. It's not even just happening in Portland, or sorry,

00:22:10.480 in Minneapolis. It's also happening in Portland, by the way. But even in New York City, there is

00:22:14.760 a massive protest in New York City where people are chanting, save a life, kill ICE. That's not

00:22:22.740 a direct threat. That is incitement. That's also a crime. That's also not covered by the First

00:22:28.520 Amendment. What the federal government needs to do here, a little unsolicited advice, is they need

00:22:33.860 to arrest as many of these people as they can. In the case of New York City, there are many,

00:22:38.900 many people at this protest. They're probably not going to arrest all of them. Although I will point out

00:22:42.460 the Biden administration did a good job tracking down every single Midwestern granny who took a 1.00

00:22:47.700 selfie at the Capitol on January 6th. So I think the federal resources are there when they want to

00:22:53.200 enforce the law. But if I were in the federal government right now, I would take all these

00:22:59.500 people that we have on camera, and I would arrest as many of them as I possibly could. And I would

00:23:07.060 charge them to the fullest extent of the law for direct threats and for incitement. And the reason

00:23:13.020 I would do this is not just to be a big, tough guy. It's not just because I'm super-duper based

00:23:18.140 or whatever. The reason I would do this would be very practical, very politically realistic.

00:23:24.620 One thesis says that the way you bring the temperature down in the country is you just,

00:23:30.320 you know, you give people a little breathing room. You know, this is what they said during the

00:23:33.380 George Floyd riots. We need to let people vent their frustration. And they're going to burn down

00:23:36.740 a few buildings, but that's just, you know, the riots are just the cries of the unheard.

00:23:41.140 That's a thesis that the left advances that I guess some people on the right believe.

00:23:46.300 I don't think that's true. I think that the way that you bring the temperature down

00:23:51.160 is that you absolutely crush the people who are attempting to destroy the political order.

00:23:57.820 You bring down to the fullest extent possible, the heavy hammer of the law.

00:24:04.080 And you say, no, ain't going to happen. I'm not saying that you pass the bounds of justice,

00:24:08.800 that you pass the bounds of morality. I'm saying that within those bounds, you do exactly what must

00:24:14.320 be done to enforce order in the law. And that is actually what brings the temperature down.

00:24:19.720 You got to see this in psychology. There's some people following Freud who think that the way

00:24:25.400 that you help people is that you let them blow off a little steam. Actually, I'll tell you what,

00:24:30.020 I'll use a really lurid example in a debate within psychology and criminal justice to make the point.

00:24:35.440 There's some people who say that pedophiles should be allowed to look at artificial child pornography,

00:24:43.080 you know, cartoons or something. There've been legal cases on this because it will allow them to vent

00:24:48.420 their frustrations or their passions or whatever without actually harming any children.

00:24:53.680 That's the Freud view, I think, of psychology. That's the steam engine view of psychology.

00:24:58.260 You got to blow off a little steam. The problem with that view is that's not how human nature really

00:25:03.760 works. The way human nature really works is much closer to what Aristotle says. It's much closer to

00:25:08.900 the classical and medieval tradition, which is that people form their desires and their reversions

00:25:16.160 through habit. So the more you do something, the more you want to do it and the less you want to do

00:25:22.420 the opposite. The more that you perform a vice, the more likely you're going to be to perform it.

00:25:29.060 The more you perform a virtue, the more likely you're going to be to perform it. In other words,

00:25:32.940 the more you do stuff, the more you develop an appetite for that stuff. It's like an acquired

00:25:39.000 taste. The first time you drink whiskey or have caviar or something, I don't know. I don't know if I've

00:25:44.260 ever had caviar. Have I? Maybe once or twice. But the more you have something that's kind of weird,

00:25:48.700 coffee. The first time you have coffee, you probably don't like it. But then the more you drink it,

00:25:53.240 you acquire that taste. Then you want it. That's how it goes. Well, take it out of the realm of

00:25:58.400 whiskey and caviar and coffee and pedophilia. Bring it back into the realm of protesting. 0.99

00:26:04.040 The more you allow people to get away with this stuff, direct threats, incitement of violence,

00:26:08.400 blocking traffic, blocking law enforcement, even driving their cars into law enforcement,

00:26:12.260 the more of that behavior you're going to get. You're going to accustom people

00:26:15.200 to the behavior and to the idea that it's okay. If you bring the hammer down,

00:26:21.080 like that lady from Charlotte was saying, she says, now I'm terrified to go out and

00:26:24.580 obstruct law enforcement. Now I'm going to think twice. I might still do it, but I'm going to think

00:26:28.060 twice. The more you do that, the more you accustom people to better behavior because the

00:26:33.900 law is a teacher. Okay. The vice president said all of this beautifully. He gave one of the best

00:26:39.860 pressers, certainly I've ever seen from a vice president, but one of the best pressers in this

00:26:43.320 administration thus far. We'll get to that momentarily. First though, I want to tell you

00:28:03.580 The vice president comes out with typical lucidity, moral clarity. Here's his take on Minneapolis.

00:28:12.800 It's why incidents like yesterday happen. The one final point I'll make about this is,

00:28:16.940 look, there's a part of me that feels very, very sad for this woman, not just because she lost her

00:28:23.300 life, but because I think she is a victim of left-wing ideology. What young mother shows up 1.00

00:28:29.340 and decides they're going to throw their car in front of ICE officers who are enforcing legitimate

00:28:34.360 law. You've got to be a little brainwashed to get to that point to where you're willing, not just to

00:28:39.540 protest. That's fine. Not peacefully protest, but throw your vehicle in front of legitimate law

00:28:45.900 enforcement officers and drive your car into them. To get to that point, you have to be, I think,

00:28:51.720 radicalized in a very, very sad way. I certainly wish that she hadn't got there. I know there's an ICE

00:28:57.100 officer right now who very much wishes he was not put in the position where he had to fire a gun

00:29:01.640 to defend his own life. Yeah. Spot on, spot on. This is exactly the right tone. We're not saying,

00:29:08.060 ha ha, that evil domestic terrorist woman, she, yeah, we love that she's dead. No, it's sad. 0.95

00:29:17.680 It's sad that she was so brainwashed that she, maybe she thought the ICE officers really are the

00:29:24.060 Gestapo. Where'd she get that from? She got it from cable news. They're not. She probably thought

00:29:29.000 that illegal aliens have a right to be in this country. They don't. But she's heard that from 1.00

00:29:33.080 all the Democrat balls. She's heard that from everyone who says that illegal aliens are undocumented 1.00

00:29:37.500 Americans. Well, if they're Americans, they have a right to be here. They're not Americans. That's the 1.00

00:29:40.580 point. She probably thought these people are totally innocent. They're not, they're not,

00:29:45.380 they're not face tattooed gangsters. They don't come across the border with the help of the cartels.

00:29:49.760 They're not defrauding the government there. No, she probably thought they're all just little

00:29:53.760 abuela trying to peacefully make a paella in the kitchen. And then the Gestapo show up. No.

00:30:01.380 She was brainwashed and she betrayed her family. She betrayed her daughter.

00:30:07.380 She did. It's sad. She didn't mean to, like, I don't, but she did to go out there and for so,

00:30:13.540 not just so stupid a cause, but for such an unjust cause to go out there and to leave your kid 1.00

00:30:19.480 without a mother. Well, the family is confusing and it's a point for another time. 1.00

00:30:26.800 Not, that's bad to do. That's really bad. And so you feel sorry for this woman that her mind would

00:30:32.860 be so scrambled up to get to that point. That doesn't change the fact that it was all wrong.

00:30:40.100 In fact, that should impel you to want to set the record straight, which is what JD does

00:30:45.880 when it comes to the news media. The way that the media by and large has reported this story

00:30:53.360 has been an absolute disgrace and it puts our law enforcement officers at risk every single day.

00:31:00.200 Everybody who's been repeating the lie that this is some innocent woman who was out for a drive in

00:31:05.080 Minneapolis when a law enforcement officer shot at her, you should be ashamed of yourself.

00:31:09.060 Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. If you lie, generally, you should be ashamed of yourself

00:31:14.760 because you're committing a mortal sin. If you lie about an event of public interest,

00:31:20.180 you should especially be ashamed of yourself because it causes political scandal.

00:31:24.660 But if you lie about this kind of an issue, you should triply be ashamed of yourself 0.96

00:31:31.340 because you are setting the stage for naive and ignorant people to put themselves in harm's way 0.99

00:31:40.420 for your lie. And that's what happened. The liberal media, it is not hyperbole to say the liberal media 0.99

00:31:47.500 bear a considerable amount of responsibility for that woman's death going back five years,

00:31:54.020 going back 10 years, going back 20 years, maybe. Okay. Speaking of attacks on law enforcement,

00:31:58.160 we turn now to Oregon, where State Senator Casey Jama follows Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry saying that ICE

00:32:07.980 needs to get out of town. Let me say to this federal agencies and ICE. 0.95

00:32:15.020 This is Oregon. We do not need you. You're not welcome. And you need to get the hell out of our community.

00:32:32.640 I think the minimum requirement for ordering immigration enforcement around

00:32:39.000 should be speaking English properly. Call me old fashioned. But I think if you're going to order

00:32:47.760 immigration enforcement around, you need to be able to speak the tongue of the country.

00:32:54.280 I want to tell you one thing, sir. Listen to me very much, Christine. You will get the heck out of

00:33:01.600 this town because we true Americans. We will not tolerate the federal government coming in here

00:33:08.540 and enforcing the laws. Do you understand, sir? It's I don't actually don't know what his ethnic

00:33:14.520 background is. I can't quite make it out. Is it South Asian or Africa? I don't know. I don't know what

00:33:20.780 is. In any case, I love I love the Indians. I don't the Pakistani is a little bit. No, 0.85

00:33:29.120 there's some great Pakistani, sure. And they're all the Africans to and all. But you know, guys, 1.00

00:33:34.920 if you're going to come to this country, one, it has to be in relatively small numbers so that you 0.98

00:33:40.960 can assimilate and everything. And two, if you're going to come to this country, you probably shouldn't 1.00

00:33:46.400 order our government around. And three, if you're going to order our government around, you probably

00:33:52.220 should speak the language first. This is not persuasive. This was even less persuasive than

00:33:58.500 Jacob Frye. Although maybe it's because this guy's a little older than Jacob Frye. And Jacob Frye did

00:34:02.420 the millennial thing yesterday where he just inserted the F word in a whiny tone to let you know he's

00:34:06.760 super duper serious. So he needs to get the F out of here. Get the F out, man. Jacob Frye does speak

00:34:13.700 English, though he just chooses not to most of the time. So he could speak Tatooine instead.

00:34:17.240 But this guy doesn't speak English that well. And he's a little older. So he said, get the hell out.

00:34:23.300 If he were not a Gen X or a boomer, but silent generation, he would probably say, get the heck

00:34:29.020 out or get the, I don't know. Anyway, you know, you don't get to order immigration. Immigration

00:34:33.300 enforcement might start talking to you, buddy. It might throw that demand back on you. Now, speaking of

00:34:37.320 English, this is actually the most amazing story of the day. The United Arab Emirates

00:34:42.120 are now cutting funds for students to study at schools where they might be indoctrinated into

00:34:50.580 radical Islam. And those schools are not in Iran or Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. The schools that they 0.86

00:34:59.740 don't want their students to study in are in the UK. The United Arab Emirates are saying, look, we do not

00:35:06.480 want our students to go to Oxford or Cambridge because they might be radicalized into Islamic

00:35:12.940 brotherhood ideology. It's just an amazing, it's an amazing story. Where is it? I have the article

00:35:18.780 somewhere here. Do I? Do I? I think I do. No, they didn't give it to me. Okay, that's too bad. Well,

00:35:24.440 anyway, producers slept in a little bit today. They got, I don't know, they're not quite with the,

00:35:29.180 with the clips or with the articles, but it's, that's the, take my word for it. It's in the

00:35:34.700 Financial Times. Okay. This is a British publication. They say, yeah, the UAE, a bunch of the, the Arab 1.00

00:35:43.620 Emirates are afraid that the Brits are going to radicalize them into Islam. Tells you, I like the 0.99

00:35:49.800 UAE. I've spent a little bit of time there. Probably not going to move there anytime soon, but I, you know,

00:35:53.920 when the Arab Emirates are telling you, you guys are going too far on the Islam, you, they probably, 0.97

00:36:00.280 you should pay attention. Okay. Before we get to my favorite time of the week, one last story.

00:36:05.900 Speaking of Muslim radicals in Minnesota, got to give a hat tip to Mays here. Just an amazing find. 1.00

00:36:11.400 This is from 2022 amid all of the talk about Minnesota and the fraud with the migrants is, 0.98

00:36:18.100 which is one of the factors impelling all of the ice raids and the protests and the this and the that.

00:36:23.920 Don't forget what this comes down to. A bunch of Somalis showed up to Minneapolis,

00:36:30.920 showed up to Minnesota and defrauded the taxpayer of jillions of dollars and sent a lot of that money

00:36:38.320 back to Somalia, some of it to the terror group Al-Shabaab. They did this by defrauding the healthcare

00:36:43.420 system and the childcare system. Nick Shirley, when he goes to the childcare centers and there aren't any

00:36:50.480 kids there, you see the fraud. Chris Ruffo's great coverage of the Minneapolis fraud. It's about

00:36:55.520 healthcare and childcare specifically. Here's a beautiful clip. Blast from the past, 2022.

00:37:05.480 First Lady Jill Biden making a stop in Minnesota today to tout the country's investments in childcare.

00:37:10.120 She was joined by Governor Walz and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra during a visit

00:37:16.760 this afternoon to the University of Minnesota. Biden highlighted major investments in childcare

00:37:21.140 through the American Rescue Plan. Billions of dollars in funding have helped states like Minnesota

00:37:25.740 keep healthcare and childcare providers open and boost pay for childcare workers during the pandemic.

00:37:31.360 First Lady says there's still more work to be done, though. More than 130,000 childcare providers

00:37:37.540 across the country have received federal funding. Last year, the state of Minnesota received more than

00:37:41.820 500 million dollars to help the childcare industry. And here we have the First Lady of the United

00:37:48.160 States, Jill Biden. At that point, it was probably the acting president because Joe's brain had turned

00:37:53.100 to pudding. Coming here, yes, we're so happy to give all these gajillions of dollars to Somali criminal 1.00

00:38:01.460 syndicates in Minnesota. They knew. They knew. They gave it. They totally own this. It's just perfect.

00:38:10.740 Walls clearly knew what was going on. There's some evidence his office is engaged in a cover-up right

00:38:17.360 now. There are like a dozen things we could arrest that guy for right now, and maybe we should.

00:38:22.540 Maybe we should. For decades, Americans have been taught a version of history designed to shame them, 0.75

00:38:27.200 silence them, make them think that certain questions are off limits. That ends now.

00:38:31.780 Matt Walsh's new series, Real History with Matt Walsh, premieres Monday, January 19th, exclusively on

00:38:35.600 Daily Wire. Plus, this series confronts the lies, omissions, and propaganda baked into the history you were

00:38:40.280 taught not to challenge. It starts with one of the biggest myths of all. Here is your first look at episode

00:38:44.940 one.

00:38:46.280 They told you America invented slavery. They told you the Indians were peaceful.

00:38:53.260 They told you colonialism was evil and that Joseph McCarthy was a bad guy. And guess what? They lied.

00:39:01.320 For a century, generations of American schoolchildren have been taught to hate our history,

00:39:05.280 hate our country, and hate themselves. It's time to set the record straight. And since no one else

00:39:11.340 is going to do it, I will. Who sold us to slaves? What were India and Africa like before Europeans 0.87

00:39:17.920 arrived? What caused white flight? Some of the most well-known stories from American history

00:39:22.660 are designed to demoralize you. A trail of tears, a smallpox blanket smith, a red scare. It's all baseless.

00:39:29.360 It's time for a lesson on what they're not teaching in public schools, on the real history of slavery,

00:39:35.640 of colonialism, of the Indians, of America, and the world. It's time for Real History with Matt Walsh.

00:39:50.860 Do not miss it. Season one of Real History with Matt Walsh premieres Monday, January 19th.

00:39:54.640 Join now at dailywireplus.com. My favorite comment yesterday is from PNW Vibes. It's actually really

00:40:02.300 easy not to get shot by the cops. Let all who have ears to hear, let them hear. It's not getting shot

00:40:09.800 by the cops is like the easiest thing in the world. It's much harder to learn how to use a yo-yo.

00:40:16.480 It's much more difficult to play a diatonic harmonica than it is to not get shot by the cops.

00:40:22.820 Ten and two, yes sir, no sir. Don't drive your car into them. Don't run away from them. Even

00:40:31.100 running away from them is probably fine. Running toward them, like charging them. Don't reach for

00:40:35.540 their weapons. Yeah, it's not that hard. Also, as that clip started, I looked once again through my

00:40:41.460 papers. I have to, Jacob, Professor Jacob, it's right there at the top, did print out my Financial

00:40:48.520 Times article about the UAE. I, I, that was a pre-judgment or a rash judgment. It takes a very

00:40:56.600 big, handsome, sexy man to admit when he was wrong. I got, I got my article, Professor Jacob,

00:41:05.240 he did, he was semi-diligent. Ladies and gentlemen, they got, they got me. They got me. Okay,

00:41:09.680 they got me. Can I admit that? Can a man admit that? Finally, finally, we arrive at my favorite 0.81

00:41:16.180 time of the week. When I get to hear from you in the mailbag, our mailbag is sponsored by pure talk

00:41:20.160 go to pure talk.com slash Knowles Canada WLES. Save an additional 50% on your first month. Take it

00:41:24.400 away. Good morning, Michael. This is Arun. Public protest should be illegal. Change my mind. Now,

00:41:32.560 to clarify, I believe absolutely in the constitutional right to petition the government for a regress of

00:41:38.700 grievances, but that can be done by sending a strongly worded email to your house representative.

00:41:44.860 I think protest of the form we're seeing right now in Minneapolis or anywhere in the country that

00:41:49.100 involves going out in the streets with obnoxious signs and slogans, that, that is a public safety

00:41:55.620 threat and just should not be tolerated in America. I'm curious as to your thoughts. Yeah, I largely agree.

00:42:01.700 At the risk of sounding like a lib, I do think there is a role for public protest in American life. I think

00:42:07.420 you see that throughout the American political tradition, going back to the colonial days.

00:42:12.300 I think there is a role for that. However, you're entirely right. You don't get to protest in the

00:42:17.420 middle of the street. That is, and people really think that you can. They think that the right to

00:42:22.480 protest or the right to redress grievances, petition your government to redress grievances,

00:42:28.180 is, it means that you get to just do whatever you want in the middle of the street. That's not true.

00:42:31.240 If you want to protest, you need permits. You need to do it in an orderly way. You need to clean up

00:42:36.280 after yourself. You have, there is still order. That's the whole point of the public protest is it's

00:42:41.120 within the political order, even established by the constitution. So yeah, like if there's an empty

00:42:46.700 field somewhere, you can host a rally. That's fine. If you're within certain quarters around the White

00:42:54.400 House or something, I get, there are always people protesting stuff. They're usually funded by foreign

00:42:58.340 lobbies. But yeah, the stuff, the middle of the street stuff, those people need to be arrested

00:43:03.520 immediately. No, no question. Okay. Next question. Michael, I know your answer to the question of

00:43:10.000 should a wife and husband be buried in the same cemetery as yes, but I'm curious about your

00:43:15.320 thoughts in my particular situation. My parents immigrated from India, have since moved back

00:43:20.640 and will be buried in India. I have two older brothers. We all live in Connecticut, but when it

00:43:27.060 comes to retirement, we will all be moving to different states and out of the state of Connecticut.

00:43:30.900 I'm Catholic and plan to be buried in a Catholic cemetery. My wife, her family has relatives that

00:43:39.680 can date back to at least the Revolutionary War. She, her family is of Protestant extraction

00:43:45.700 and she wants to be buried in the cemetery in Connecticut that many of her family members

00:43:51.480 are buried in. What would you do if you were in my situation?

00:43:55.000 It's a nuanced question. Actually, you asked the right person because I'm also Catholic and I also

00:44:03.600 have family that goes back to the Revolutionary War and before then. So I get it. Those New England

00:44:08.140 cemeteries. In fact, there's a cemetery in Maine, middle of nowhere Maine, where my Revolutionary War

00:44:14.640 ancestor, one of them, Simon Knowles, and his wife, Lydia Knowles, they're buried. You can go see the

00:44:18.320 headstone today. The headstones are from the early to mid-19th century. So it's cool. I like all that.

00:44:24.660 The rest of my family is not buried there though. And I would say, as a Catholic, the reason you want

00:44:28.460 to be buried in a Catholic cemetery is because we believe that that gives you even more graces,

00:44:35.800 you know, graces from celebration of the mass and all. And look, some Protestants will believe in 0.86

00:44:40.320 that stuff. Some Protestants won't. And people who are not religious think it's all hooey. But if you're

00:44:44.680 Catholic, as you say, that's what you believe. That's why you want to be buried in a Catholic 1.00

00:44:48.140 cemetery. You can be buried as a Catholic in a non-Catholic cemetery, in a family plot or 0.59

00:44:55.620 something. You can do that. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. You know, you leave

00:45:02.660 your family. Our Lord tells us you leave your mother and father and you join together with your

00:45:07.180 spouse and what God has joined, let no man separate. You don't literally have to be buried next

00:45:14.600 to your spouse. But I think you should. And if the question is, what matters more to me,

00:45:19.420 my family heritage or my faith? If you're really thinking about it seriously, your faith should 0.85

00:45:24.000 matter more to you. So, you know, if it's a real sticking point, I guess you guys could be buried

00:45:28.260 in the New England cemetery. But take it from another Catholic. But even, you know, a lot of my 0.82

00:45:32.780 family who weren't buried in those cemeteries, they weren't Catholic. But it's another one of old

00:45:37.020 New England stock, old Revolutionary War stock. It's nice that some of your ancestors are buried

00:45:42.920 there and you can go visit them. But, you know, you've gone out and spread across the country

00:45:48.040 as our ancestors perhaps envisioned. And I wouldn't, I would pick the cemetery near to where

00:45:55.560 you're living, maybe near to where your children are living, cemetery nearer to your faith over

00:46:00.300 the family one. Even though the family cemetery is very, very cool, I admit. Next one.

00:46:04.740 Hi, Michael. I have a theory about Professor Jacob's car accidents. I think God is trying

00:46:11.840 to use him to play matchmaker with someone at the dealership and someone at the car repair shop.

00:46:17.560 What do you think?

00:46:19.520 Wow. Can we get Jacob on the line? Professor, can you pipe in? Are you there? Let's get him

00:46:25.580 to pipe in. Professor, do we have you?

00:46:27.760 Hey, I'm here.

00:46:28.300 Okay. So, you heard this theory. The reason that, and this is just his view, the reason

00:46:35.260 that God is allowing you to crash your car every three days is to play matchmaker, bad

00:46:39.960 news for your girlfriend, Destiny, but to play matchmaker with someone at the dealership 1.00

00:46:43.920 or the repair shop. The first question I have is, do you go to the same repair shop every

00:46:48.560 time?

00:46:49.760 My insurance handles it.

00:46:52.540 What do you mean your insurance?

00:46:53.740 My insurance usually comes and takes the car and fixes it and gives it back to me. I

00:46:58.360 don't even go to the repair shop.

00:47:00.680 They go, they take the car, they fix it for you?

00:47:03.140 Yep.

00:47:04.580 Huh. I thought you were going to say my insurance handles it because I total it every time.

00:47:08.720 But okay. So, they go, they fix it. So, you, now, could it be the case that whoever you're

00:47:13.980 talking to at the insurance company is the person you're supposed to marry?

00:47:18.860 Well, I'm happily in a relationship, but you want to know something very ironic about this

00:47:22.560 question?

00:47:22.820 Yeah.

00:47:24.580 The way Destiny and I came back into contact was because she slid up on one of my stories

00:47:30.420 where I posted my car shortly after an accident when I repaired it and changed the color.

00:47:36.860 That's not ironic, actually. That's just a coincidence, and it might further the thesis

00:47:42.460 of the question, but you're using irony in the same way that Alanis Morissette did in that 0.99

00:47:47.100 stupid song from the 90s. In any case, that's an amazing story. And I think it basically, 0.98

00:47:52.760 in a weird way, defends the guy's thesis, the member of the Claims de la Claims thesis. Okay.

00:47:59.440 That was very good. It's Fake Headline Friday. The rest of the show continues now. You do not want to

00:48:03.180 miss it. Head on over to dailywire.com. Become a member. Use code NOLSK.NOWLE.

00:48:07.080 All of this is an illusion. An echo of a voice that has died. And soon that echo will cease.

00:48:30.900 They say that Merlin is mad.

00:48:44.960 They say he was a king in Dovid, the son of a princess of lost Atlantis. They say the future

00:48:57.680 and the past are known to him. That the fire and the wind tell him their secrets. That the magic of

00:49:05.740 the hillfolk and Druids come forth at his easy command. They say he slew hundreds. Hundreds do you hear? That the world burned and trembled at his wrath. 0.94

00:49:19.460 The Merlin died long before you and I were born. Merlin Emrys has returned to the land of the living.

00:49:34.520 Portigan is gone. Rome is gone. The Saxon is here. Saxon Hengist has assembled the greatest warhost ever seen in the

00:49:44.380 island of the mighty. And before the summer is through, he means to take the throne.

00:49:50.260 And he will have it. If we are too busy squabbling amongst ourselves to take up arms against him,

00:49:56.600 here is your hope. A king will arise to hold all Britain in his hand. A high king. He will be the

00:50:03.640 wonder of the world. You. To a future of peace.

00:50:10.760 There'll be no peace in these lands till we are all dust.

00:50:16.640 Men of the island of the mighty. You stand together.

00:50:21.860 You stand as Britons. You stand as one.

00:50:26.420 Great darkness is falling upon this land.

00:50:33.040 These brothers are our only hope to stand against it.

00:50:35.540 Not our only hope.

00:50:40.240 They say Merlin slew 70 men with his own hands.

00:50:44.380 At Gathay, he slew 500.

00:50:48.460 No man is capable of such a thing.

00:50:51.480 No mortal man.
