00:00:46.400 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:00:47.880 Welcome back to the show.
00:01:07.580 Do you remember when 300,000 migrant kids just went missing under Joe Biden?
00:01:13.420 And no one really looked for them.
00:01:15.460 And no one could account for them.
00:01:17.160 And President Trump's administration, Tom Holman just announcing this, they've found 145,000 of the kids.
00:01:24.760 So they've found about half the kids.
00:01:26.480 We'll get, what happened to the kids?
00:01:27.620 We'll get to that momentarily.
00:01:28.700 First, on this Ash Wednesday, I want to tell you about Hallow.
00:01:32.240 Go to hallow.com slash Knowles.
00:01:33.960 We are here almost at Lent.
00:01:36.020 Beginning today, Ash Wednesday, our sponsor, Hallow, is inviting you to take Lent seriously with Pray 40, The Return.
00:01:41.480 A 40-day journey of daily prayer leading up to Easter featuring Jonathan Rumi, Father Mike Schmidt, Sister Miriam James, Jeff Cavins, Mark Wahlberg, Chris Pratt, and others.
00:01:50.780 Lent is the church's annual reminder that self-mastery matters, that virtue requires discipline, that becoming who God intends us to be means removing the things, habits, distractions, comforts that stand in the way.
00:02:01.160 Through prayer, fasting, and self-giving, we make room for God's mercy, grace, and love to do their work.
00:02:06.540 At the center of Pray 40, The Return is one of the most profound stories ever told, the parable of the prodigal son, a reminder that no matter how far someone falls, redemption remains possible.
00:02:15.160 This year's challenge also draws inspiration from the Brothers Karamazov, a serious meditation on belief and doubt, guilt and forgiveness, and the moral responsibility to bear one another with grace.
00:02:25.220 Throughout Lent, Jonathan Rumi and Sister Miriam James will guide daily prayer and meditation.
00:02:31.520 Fridays include fasting challenges, and Saturdays feature thoughtful faith conversations.
00:02:35.080 Right now, go to hallow.com, take part in hallow's Lent challenge, Pray 40, The Return is for you.
00:02:41.060 Marty Gras is over.
00:02:43.400 Les bons temps have roulade.
00:02:45.500 It is now Ash Wednesday, a very important penitential season as we await Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
00:02:52.220 And to kick it off, Elon Musk just posted yesterday on Twitter, on X, I agree with the teachings of Jesus.
00:03:00.540 This was in response to one of these pseudonymous Twitter accounts.
00:03:05.700 I don't know, I say, I'm a millennial, sue me, sue me, that I forget to say X.
00:03:09.960 It was in response to one of these pseudonymous accounts that was evangelizing.
00:03:14.560 And Elon responds, and he goes, I agree with the teachings of Jesus, which is great.
00:03:20.980 And Elon should be encouraged in this, and we all really like Elon, and Elon is one of the most important figures in our political order.
00:03:29.300 And he has done more to restore America and a traditional conception of America and a conception of America that leaves a lot of room for religion than basically anybody else in the country.
00:03:41.640 But now we got to ask Elon a question.
00:03:46.340 If Elon believes in the teachings of Jesus, what about that teaching of Jesus, which our Lord repeats, that he is God?
00:03:57.080 What about that?
00:03:58.780 Because our Lord tells us, love your enemies.
00:04:02.880 And our Lord tells us, love the true God, love your God above all things.
00:04:07.800 And our Lord tells us, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
00:04:12.500 And our Lord teaches us a lot of things.
00:04:14.780 Blessed are the poor in spirit.
00:04:16.400 He teaches us a lot of these things.
00:04:19.280 But the central teaching, the crucial fact, is that he is God.
00:04:24.580 And he teaches this repeatedly.
00:04:26.280 He says, before Abraham was, I am.
00:04:29.840 He says, whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
00:04:32.480 The Father and I are one.
00:04:33.500 He says that he's God.
00:04:34.660 So what does that teaching imply for our lives and our actions?
00:04:40.520 This is a question not only for Elon, but for anyone who is attracted to the teachings of Christ.
00:04:48.500 Because a lot of people, they just want to go a little bit.
00:04:51.160 They want to go halfway.
00:04:52.100 And they want to say, well, I think Christ is a great moral teacher.
00:04:55.420 C.S. Lewis very famously mocks this notion.
00:04:59.640 Because he can't just be a great moral teacher.
00:05:02.740 Because he claims he's God.
00:05:04.860 So because he claims he's God, he's either God, or he's a very bad moral teacher.
00:05:10.940 Because he would be lying.
00:05:12.420 Or he would be a crazy person.
00:05:14.340 Either of which would make him a pretty inept moral teacher.
00:05:19.080 But if you say, well, I like his teachings.
00:05:21.680 His teachings appeal to me.
00:05:22.860 Okay.
00:05:23.320 Well, one of the central teachings is he's God.
00:05:26.340 So then what?
00:05:28.040 You can't go halfway.
00:05:29.520 This is another C.S. Lewis point.
00:05:30.660 I think he was making the rounds yesterday.
00:05:31.680 Maybe because Elon posted this.
00:05:33.060 But the point was, Christianity is either the crucial fact of the whole world.
00:05:41.700 It is absolutely invaluable.
00:05:45.920 It is essential.
00:05:47.400 Or it's nothing.
00:05:48.920 But it can't be just kind of important.
00:05:52.460 It can't be.
00:05:53.780 It's all or nothing.
00:05:54.840 It's like that Frank Sinatra song.
00:05:56.220 All or nothing at all.
00:05:57.760 That's what it is.
00:05:58.360 You're either in, and Christ is Lord and God, and you do what he says, and you pray to him,
00:06:06.180 and you avail yourself of the sacraments that he leaves to us, and you join into his mystical
00:06:12.380 body, which is the church, or just ignore him because you don't believe in anything.
00:06:18.400 But you can't go halfway.
00:06:20.000 So anyway, I'm not in any way admonishing Elon.
00:06:21.960 I think this is awesome.
00:06:22.620 This is a great way to kick off Lent when one of the most important men in the world
00:06:26.240 is saying, I agree with the teachings of Jesus.
00:06:28.880 But Elon's a smart guy.
00:06:30.780 So then the question is, okay, well, do you?
00:06:32.260 Really?
00:06:33.920 How do you agree with them?
00:06:35.360 Do you agree with the central teaching?
00:06:37.300 Do you agree with the unignorable teaching?
00:06:40.460 Then what?
00:06:43.280 Then what does that mean?
00:06:44.680 Speaking of teaching, my pal, Senator Ted Cruz just got in real hot water because of Gavin
00:06:52.300 Newsom.
00:06:53.720 Gavin Newsom is accusing Senator Cruz of ableism.
00:06:58.120 He's accusing Senator Cruz of mocking a dyslexic because of this statement that Senator Cruz made
00:07:05.520 to Ben Ferguson on a show that I know a little bit about, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
00:07:10.460 Let's be very clear, Senator.
00:07:13.140 That is Gavin Newsom comparing American law enforcement to Nazis.
00:07:17.160 Yep.
00:07:17.680 Yep.
00:07:18.020 Which, by the way, is what Obama was doing, too.
00:07:22.020 By the way, just like AOC and Whitmer, Newsom is apparently thoroughly historically illiterate.
00:07:27.840 He said, we've never seen National Guards federalized in the states.
00:07:31.940 I guess his history book does not discuss the civil rights movement.
00:07:35.420 He's never heard of a president named Dwight D. Eisenhower.
00:07:37.760 He's never heard of sending the National Guard into southern states when Democrats who refused
00:07:44.000 to desegregate schools resisted.
00:07:47.200 Eisenhower sent the National Guard in.
00:07:49.320 The pattern is the same.
00:07:50.880 In this instance, you have Democrats who are saying we refuse to comply with federal immigration
00:07:55.720 law.
00:07:56.220 Then you had in the 50s and 60s, you had Democrats saying we refuse to comply with civil rights
00:08:01.560 law.
00:08:02.540 In both instances, it is lawless Democrats attacking law enforcement.
00:08:09.400 You know, Gavin Newsom is proudly following the tradition of Bull Connor, another Democrat
00:08:14.300 politician.
00:08:14.940 Okay, so from that history lesson, Senator Cruz, obviously very intelligent, very well-educated
00:08:22.940 guy.
00:08:23.360 From that little history lesson, Gavin Newsom, the Patrick Bateman of California, comes away
00:08:28.540 and he says, Ted Cruz's calling a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low, even for him.
00:08:38.300 Apparently, Gavin Newsom's dyslexic.
00:08:39.980 I didn't know that, but apparently he's dyslexic.
00:08:43.720 That's not the central problem for Newsom, though, because Senator Cruz did not call Gavin
00:08:49.940 Newsom illiterate.
00:08:51.380 He called him historically illiterate, which means that Gavin Newsom doesn't know history.
00:08:59.480 Gavin Newsom seems to think that Ted Cruz called him literally illiterate, which would
00:09:03.680 mean that he can't read, which might be true.
00:09:05.720 It might be true that Gavin Newsom can't read.
00:09:07.880 I don't know.
00:09:08.080 I haven't seen a lot of evidence that he can read.
00:09:09.620 So maybe that's true as well, but that was news to us.
00:09:13.840 In any case, what we now know for certain is that Gavin Newsom is semantically illiterate,
00:09:19.400 meaning not only does he not read, he doesn't understand the meaning of words.
00:09:25.660 He doesn't understand what the phrase historically illiterate means.
00:09:30.540 And you can be illiterate.
00:09:33.080 You can be literally illiterate and still understand the meaning of historically illiterate,
00:09:37.280 as long as you're not semantically illiterate, which Gavin Newsom clearly is.
00:09:43.740 Very, very silly.
00:09:45.800 However, I have to point out, this is a smart move for Newsom.
00:09:50.840 I don't know whether or not Newsom's really dyslexic.
00:09:53.340 However, it's a smart move for him to claim to be dyslexic in any case because he needs an excuse and he needs virtue points.
00:10:05.680 He needs some kind of handicap.
00:10:07.700 Gavin Newsom is a good-looking, smooth-talking, rich white guy with a good-looking wife and a beautiful family.
00:10:16.320 That's bad if you're a Democrat.
00:10:19.760 That's like five marks against you if you're a Democrat.
00:10:22.660 That would have been good 25 years ago, but it's bad now.
00:10:27.360 Gavin Newsom physically is everything the Democrats say that they hate.
00:10:30.800 So he needs some kind of handicap.
00:10:33.540 I think this is why a lot of Zoomer guys just decided they were gay.
00:10:37.460 I think this is why you see LGBT identity skyrocketing.
00:10:41.940 Zoomer women did this as well.
00:10:43.800 And there are very interesting studies on this.
00:10:46.100 A lot of Zoomer women would claim to be bisexual even though they basically never had any romantic relationships with women.
00:10:52.740 They would just say that in order to claim some kind of handicap, some kind of victim status at a time when that carried a lot of social currency on the left.
00:11:03.260 So I think you're seeing the same thing here.
00:11:05.020 I don't know if he's dyslexic or not, but even if he's not, it would make sense that he would claim that.
00:11:09.360 He's not going to claim to be gay.
00:11:10.660 He's got a very good-looking wife.
00:11:12.040 He's not going to claim to be, I don't know, black or something or Hispanic or, you know, that's not going to fly.
00:11:19.880 He can't claim to be some minority religion.
00:11:22.880 I don't know that he has any religion really at all, but he's not going to put on a hijab or something.
00:11:27.480 He's not going to put on the keffiyeh.
00:11:28.940 So what can he claim?
00:11:29.980 Okay, he claims he's got this intellectual disability, which gives him the victim points.
00:11:36.000 And it also will provide an excuse because I'm not saying Gavin Newsom's a total idiot.
00:11:40.860 I don't think he is, but he ain't a Rhodes Scholar.
00:11:43.640 He's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
00:11:45.760 And if J.D. Vance is the presumptive nominee for the Republicans, which he is, J.D. Vance is a very intelligent guy.
00:11:53.680 So Newsom, I think, is already looking down the line and he's saying, okay, I'm going to have to compete against J.D. Vance, who's probably two to four standard deviations in IQ above me.
00:12:03.500 I need to set expectations low right now.
00:12:06.940 In some ways, he's doing what J.D. Vance does.
00:12:10.560 The fact that the vice president has embraced the silly J.D. meme that makes him into this, you know, like giant, almost, I don't know, like a Saxon King-like figure, you know?
00:12:23.300 There's like big, long-haired kind of, you know, just torrent of force and irrationality.
00:12:30.620 The J.D. meme is very, very funny.
00:12:32.480 But part of the reason that I think it's smart that the vice president has embraced that is that it manages expectations.
00:12:39.080 The J.D. meme is fat.
00:12:40.740 J.D. Vance is relatively pretty thin, but the meme is fat.
00:12:44.620 So then when you see him, he looks thinner.
00:12:47.180 The J.D. meme, depending on which meme you're looking at, is short.
00:12:50.360 J.D. is very tall.
00:12:51.640 So you have this expectation that he'll be short when you see him in real life.
00:12:54.400 He's quite tall.
00:12:56.120 Well, Gavin Newsom is kind of doing the same thing here with the dyslexic bit.
00:12:59.940 But he's trying to set expectations low.
00:13:03.640 Joe Biden actually managed this pretty well.
00:13:06.480 And he's setting expectations low for a more practical reason than, say, the vice president, which is that Newsom doesn't really have it.
00:13:16.860 He's all sizzle, no steak, you know?
00:13:20.120 Gavin Newsom, he kind of looks the part, and he's kind of a smooth talker, but there's not very much substance there at all.
00:13:27.640 This is why he doesn't know what he believes.
00:13:29.140 That's why he has to keep swinging back and forth from, he's the radical leftist calling Stephen Miller a fascist, doing gay weddings in San Francisco 20 years ago.
00:13:37.800 But then on the other hand, he's the moderate trying to be friends with Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon.
00:13:41.480 He doesn't know what he wants.
00:13:42.320 He doesn't know what he believes.
00:13:43.880 He's going to moderate those expectations.
00:13:47.800 It means he's still a pretty good candidate for the Dems as of now, albeit one who is illiterate in many, many ways.
00:13:56.140 Okay, speaking of the Democrat strategy here, they have admitted what their strategy is in the midterms, and it's a pretty scary one.
00:14:02.980 Republicans need to pay attention to it.
00:14:04.680 We will get to that momentarily.
00:14:06.420 First, I want to tell you about Policy Genius.
00:14:08.160 Go to policygenius.com slash Knowles.
00:14:12.880 Life happens gradually most of the time.
00:14:15.300 You know, you look up one day, before you know it, you've got a wife, and then maybe you've got a kid, and then maybe you've got a little bit of income.
00:14:21.560 Maybe you've got some assets.
00:14:22.440 Maybe you have a house.
00:14:23.360 Maybe all of those wonderful things happen.
00:14:27.160 What are you going to do with it?
00:14:28.240 How are you going to protect it?
00:14:29.720 With everything that changes, you have got to make sure that your family is taken care of if something were to happen to you.
00:14:37.960 Something's going to happen to all of us eventually.
00:14:39.600 You've got to make sure that all your stuff is accounted for, especially for your family, if something were to happen to you.

00:15:22.560 Policygenius.com slash Knowles.
00:15:26.600 Abigail Spanberger.
00:15:27.800 You know that name?
00:15:29.140 A lot of people don't even, you know, this election just happened in Virginia.
00:15:31.740 A lot of people don't even pay attention to it.
00:15:33.400 They should.
00:15:33.820 Abigail Spanberger is the Democrat strategy for the midterms in 2028.
00:15:40.220 Abigail Spanberger ran as a moderate for governor of Virginia.
00:15:45.700 Now, five seconds later, she's coming out decrying President Trump's immigration policy as horrifying.
00:15:53.980 And here's why.
00:15:54.540 In what we've seen recently, the really, I think, horrifying thing is that now under the new administration or the Trump administration, where every cross into the United States is considered a criminal act.
00:16:07.800 It's an amazing statement from a governor of any party who ran in any way.
00:16:13.700 She says, it is horrifying that under the Trump administration, any illegal entry into the United States is considered a criminal act.
00:16:24.480 That's not a specific policy of the Trump administration.
00:16:33.220 That is a matter of federal law that was passed by the Congress that has been federal law for many decades now.
00:16:44.000 It's there in the meaning of the word illegal.
00:16:46.260 When an illegal alien does the thing that distinguishes him as an illegal alien, that is, in fact, illegal.
00:16:54.280 Not just because President Trump says so, because federal law says so.
00:16:57.240 And so what she is admitting here, when she says she is horrified by President Trump's actually applying the law, is she's saying she's horrified by the law.
00:17:07.680 She's saying that she is lawless.
00:17:09.960 This is the moderate Democrat who won in Virginia.
00:17:13.520 And the Democrats are schizophrenic on this point.
00:17:15.680 Here's Hillary Clinton at the Munich Security Conference just a few days ago on stage, trotting out a line that you're going to hear from Democrats a lot.
00:17:26.740 As the midterms approach, as people realize the Democrats are too extreme, they're going to be trotting out this line to try to make them seem moderate.
00:17:33.620 And the line is that, you know, actually, Clinton and Obama deported just as many people, maybe more people, as Donald Trump.
00:17:40.980 More people were deported under my husband and Barack Obama without killing American citizens and without putting children into detention camps than were in the first Trump term or this first year of Trump's second term.
00:17:59.440 So I think it's important to look.
00:18:03.660 Okay, more.
00:18:04.940 Did you know?
00:18:06.800 Actually, actually.
00:18:08.680 Obama and Clinton deported more people than Trump.
00:18:14.480 Okay.
00:18:15.800 That isn't true.
00:18:17.880 And I love she says, and they didn't put them into camps and cages.
00:18:21.080 Obama infamously built the cages that the left wing media would later come to blame on President Trump.
00:18:29.200 These supposed cages for detaining migrants and their children.
00:18:32.760 But let me ask a more basic question.
00:18:36.880 Is it good to deport the illegals?
00:18:39.860 Is it good?
00:18:41.120 Should we deport the illegal aliens?
00:18:44.280 I asked this question to one of my debate opponents on BarFight.
00:18:46.920 We have another BarFight shooting tonight.
00:18:48.860 But I asked this on one of the last BarFights.
00:18:50.600 I said, hey, he was trying to trot out these kind of lines.
00:18:52.980 I said, hey, should we deport these guys?
00:18:54.960 Should we deport the illegal aliens?
00:18:56.260 And he wouldn't give a straight answer.
00:18:57.740 I would love to ask Hillary Clinton that question.
00:18:59.680 I would love to ask any Democrat who trots out this line, which you're going to hear ad nauseum as the midterms approach.
00:19:05.840 You know, actually, believe it or not, Obama and Clinton deported more people than Trump.
00:19:10.880 Oh, okay.
00:19:11.560 So you're saying it's good to deport the illegals?
00:19:14.800 Well, I never.
00:19:16.640 Hold on, hold on, hold on.
00:19:18.120 You're saying you're admiring Obama and Clinton.
00:19:23.220 You are attempting to attack Donald Trump on the grounds, not that he's deporting the illegals,
00:19:28.540 but that he's not deporting enough.
00:19:30.340 And that Clinton and Obama and the Democrats are actually even better at deporting illegals than Trump,
00:19:35.620 which isn't true, but let's just go with it for a second.
00:19:38.000 So great.
00:19:38.680 We have a rare area of bipartisan common ground.
00:19:42.480 We should deport more illegals, right?
00:19:45.420 It's good to deport the illegals, right?
00:19:48.440 Well, well, well, I didn't really.
00:19:50.120 Oh, so what you're saying here is totally incoherent.
00:19:56.340 This is contraceptive speech.
00:19:58.460 It is speech that is not designed to convey any kind of truth.
00:20:01.960 It is speech merely designed for pleasure and convenience.
00:20:07.020 What you're saying is, at one side of your mouth, when you're talking to the liberals,
00:20:10.620 you're saying we would never deport these people.
00:20:13.080 No human being is illegal.
00:20:14.260 No one's illegal on stolen land.
00:20:15.700 We need a pathway to citizenship.
00:20:17.360 They're all dreamers.
00:20:18.220 They're not even illegal.
00:20:19.360 They're actually Americans, albeit undocumented Americans, and we need to get them documents.
00:20:24.520 And then out of the other side of your mouth, when you're talking to the normal people,
00:20:27.700 not the radical open borders leftists, but just like any normal person in the center,
00:20:32.700 center left, on the right, obviously, you're saying, actually, we're even better at deporting
00:20:37.860 people.
00:20:38.160 So which is it?
00:20:39.900 Is deporting people good or not?
00:20:42.260 I'll be more specific.
00:20:43.240 Is deporting the illegal aliens good or bad?
00:20:48.220 Any time any Democrat trots out this ridiculous campaign line, you don't even need to challenge
00:20:55.540 them on the premise.
00:20:56.280 The premise is wrong, too.
00:20:57.080 But you don't even have to challenge them on the premise.
00:20:58.640 Just ask them what the implication is.
00:21:02.180 Okay.
00:21:02.460 So you're saying it's good.
00:21:03.840 We should deport more illegals?
00:21:05.920 Well, well, well.
00:21:07.280 I never said, okay.
00:21:08.420 All right.
00:21:08.860 Never mind then.
00:21:09.500 The problem that these people have is that Americans understand the Democrats are too
00:21:18.940 extreme.
00:21:19.360 You don't have to take my word for it.
00:21:20.560 CNN has admitted this.
00:21:22.160 The percentage of Americans who say that the Democrats are too extreme has surged.
00:21:27.260 Democratic base, right?
00:21:30.460 But what about all Americans, right?
00:21:32.920 How about all voters?
00:21:34.060 Voters who say the Democrats are now too liberal?
00:21:36.580 Look at this percentage.
00:21:37.700 It was 42% in 96, 48% in 2013.
00:21:41.080 Now 58% in 2025 of all voters say that the Democratic Party is too liberal.
00:21:48.300 The Democrats are moving to the left.
00:21:49.640 The far left is gaining power, and there could be some electoral repercussions because what
00:21:53.820 we see right now is voters, the clear majority, say that they are too liberal.
00:21:58.220 This is really interesting.
00:21:59.420 Thanks so much, Harry.
00:22:00.120 Thank you, Kate.
00:22:00.460 Really appreciate it.
00:22:01.560 That's not a CNN poll, by the way.
00:22:03.200 I mean, even if it were a CNN poll, that would be enough.
00:22:05.420 But it's CNN reporting on a Washington Post poll.
00:22:09.140 So it's the left-wing cable channel citing the left-wing newspaper pointing out that, yes,
00:22:16.000 the Democrats were perceived as moving a little too far to the left from the 90s through the
00:22:20.680 20-teens, but it was basically stable.
00:22:24.300 And then over the last dozen years, the percentage of Americans who think the Dems are too liberal
00:22:29.240 has exploded.
00:22:32.120 So what are the Democrats going to do?
00:22:34.740 They can do one of two things.
00:22:36.140 They can either moderate their policies on the border.
00:22:40.800 They used to say, we need to deport the illegal aliens.
00:22:43.360 We need strong borders.
00:22:44.320 That was Bill Clinton's line.
00:22:46.300 That's even kind of what Obama ran on.
00:22:49.460 They could either go back to that instead of what they are now, which is open borders,
00:22:53.140 abolish the police, trans the kids, kill all the babies.
00:22:56.280 They could moderate or they could lie.
00:23:00.860 They could run on one set of policies, run with one kind of rhetoric, and then the minute
00:23:07.800 they get into office, do a 180 about face.
00:23:12.160 Guess what they're going to do?
00:23:13.400 Actually, a presidential contender, Andy Beshear, governor of Kentucky, gives us the answer.
00:23:20.100 We'll get to that momentarily.
00:23:20.880 First, though, I want to tell you about Pure Talk.
00:23:22.540 Go to puretalk.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S.
00:23:24.780 Do you know what holiday our sponsor Pure Talk celebrates this month?
00:23:28.820 President's Day.
00:23:29.860 Because Pure Talk believes that wireless should only cost you a couple of presidents.
00:23:34.620 Specifically, a Jackson and a Lincoln.
00:23:36.960 That's pretty good.
00:23:37.560 Because if it were two, I don't know, two Franklins, that's a little tougher.
00:23:40.020 A Jackson and a Lincoln, that's 25 bucks a month for unlimited talk, text, and plenty
00:23:45.560 of data.
00:23:46.620 President's Day may have passed, but the discounts you can get on your wireless plan have not.
00:23:51.860 Think about this.
00:23:52.980 It's a cost of one or two meals out versus the hundreds that big wireless charges families
00:23:56.920 every month.
00:23:57.980 There is no reason wireless service needs to be that expensive.
00:24:00.320 What makes Pure Talk different goes beyond just price.
00:24:03.100 They are an American wireless company that actively supports veterans and invests in a
00:24:07.160 U.S.-based customer service team.
00:24:08.500 So when you call them, you will understand what they're saying.
00:24:10.760 I've had my Pure Talk phone now for years.
00:24:13.420 It is absolutely great.
00:24:14.880 You will be getting superior 5G coverage because Pure Talk uses the same towers as the big carriers.
00:24:21.340 You will only be paying $25 a month for talk, text, and plenty of data.
00:24:24.880 No contract, no cancellation fee.
00:24:26.540 What are you waiting for?
00:24:27.140 Go to puretalk.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S.
00:24:29.020 You get 50% off your first month.
00:24:31.020 Puretalk.com slash Knowles.
00:24:32.220 Make the switch to Pure Talk.
00:24:34.380 Folks, as I just mentioned, tonight we're filming two episodes of Bar Fight.
00:24:37.360 I will face off against two esteemed combatants on topics of the day.
00:24:40.820 You want to get in on the action, watch in person at John Rich's Redneck Riviera in Nashville?
00:24:44.620 You must RSVP using the link in the description.
00:24:47.640 It's right there.
00:24:48.440 It's right there.
00:24:48.980 And I hope to see you there tonight.
00:24:52.320 Are the Democrats going to moderate their policies or are they just going to lie to get
00:24:55.380 them through the elections?
00:24:56.100 Here's what Andy Beshear of Kentucky has to say.
00:24:59.020 How do you respond to a Democratic voter who might say, I like you, I like your track
00:25:03.680 record in a red state or red commonwealth, but you're too soft-spoken?
00:25:10.160 Well, first, yes, that message is working.
00:25:13.480 Look at Abigail Spanberger and Mikey Sherrill, who ran great campaigns in races that should
00:25:18.980 have been structurally difficult.
00:25:20.560 And they both won by double digits.
00:25:22.760 It's, you know, the DGA and our candidates are winning everywhere.
00:25:26.400 For me, I believe that the American people want stability, that Donald Trump is exhausting.
00:25:33.180 Many Americans feel like the pendulum swung too far during the Biden administration and
00:25:37.740 it swung way too far during the Trump administration.
00:25:40.140 And what they want is an America where they can wake up every morning and not be worried
00:25:45.080 about its future.
00:25:46.000 America wants stability.
00:25:49.100 In other words, moderation.
00:25:51.260 The pendulum swung not too far only the, too far, not only under the Trump administration,
00:25:58.140 but he says, probably the pendulum swung a little too far under the Biden administration.
00:26:02.740 The left went a little too far left.
00:26:05.160 In other words, we need moderation.
00:26:07.280 We need moderation, moderation, moderation.
00:26:09.160 Who do we look to?
00:26:09.740 We look to Abigail Spanberger in Virginia.
00:26:12.660 And what did Spanberger do?
00:26:14.240 She ran as a moderate.
00:26:15.300 And then, we don't need to speculate on what she will do.
00:26:18.440 We now know what she did the minute she got into office.
00:26:21.960 The minute she got into office, she pulled ICE cooperation from her state, from her commonwealth.
00:26:30.320 The minute she gets into office, she says, yeah, Virginia is no longer going to cooperate
00:26:33.940 with the federal immigration enforcement.
00:26:36.780 The minute she gets into office, she says, yeah, we're going to get rid of mandatory minimums
00:26:41.320 for certain heinous crimes.
00:26:43.300 We're going to reduce those minimums for the violent crimes.
00:26:45.420 The minute she gets into office, she backs a constitutional right to late-term abortion.
00:26:52.080 Not even first trimester abortion, which is evil in itself.
00:26:55.180 But third-term, like sucking your thumb, mama, day, da, looks as much like a baby as any baby
00:27:01.180 kind of abortion.
00:27:02.180 We're going to slaughter all those kids.
00:27:04.080 And we're going to make it a right in the Constitution.
00:27:06.280 Second, she gets into office, she starts supporting voting rights for felons, doubles down, triples
00:27:13.960 down on the radical LGBT stuff.
00:27:18.580 Abigail Spanberger in office is as left as any left-wing politician in the country.
00:27:24.240 The only thing that distinguishes her, the only reason Andy Beshear points at her is because
00:27:28.280 she lied and ran as a moderate.
00:27:30.020 And that's what they're going to do in the midterms.
00:27:31.560 And so it's up to us, conservatives, normal people, centrists, Republicans, it's up to
00:27:38.080 us to expose that lie, to really push them.
00:27:42.460 For example, when they say, you know, actually, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton deported more
00:27:48.180 people than Donald Trump.
00:27:49.180 Say, oh, so you're saying deportations are good.
00:27:51.600 You want to deport more people?
00:27:53.360 Well, well, well, well, I never, I never.
00:27:55.180 Oh, got it.
00:27:55.800 Okay.
00:27:55.960 Anyway, the, the artifice, the contrivance that the Democrats are trying to put forward
00:28:02.080 is that we're all just kind of moderate.
00:28:04.700 We sound like Andy Beshear and, and Abigail Spanberger on the campaign trail.
00:28:08.620 The reality of the Democrat party today, pretty much top to bottom, is a little closer to Peggy
00:28:15.820 Flanagan, Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, who I, I'm sorry, that's her, that's her English
00:28:21.900 name.
00:28:22.240 That's her slave name.
00:28:23.440 Here is Peggy Flanagan's tribal name.
00:28:27.800 So my Ojibwe name is, uh, Gigi Wawada Mukwe, which means speaks in a loud and clear voice
00:28:33.680 woman.
00:28:34.740 Um, and, uh, I am so grateful for my community and, you know, I am a member of the White Earth
00:28:41.900 Nation, uh, which is the largest tribe in Minnesota.
00:28:44.460 So, gotta hand it to the Ojibwe's, my, I doff my cap to you, Ojibwe's, the fact that
00:28:54.120 this crazy white lady came to you at some point, this lunatic who was implicated in the anti-ice
00:29:01.900 insurrection, obstructing law enforcement in the little signal chats, in the group chats
00:29:07.360 in Minnesota, this lunatic white woman comes to you at some point, she says, how, fellow
00:29:12.980 Indians, how do you do?
00:29:15.700 Can you please give me a tribal name?
00:29:18.120 And then the tribe goes to her, they're looking around, like, in between hands of blackjack,
00:29:22.340 they're looking at each other, they say, uh, yes, yes, brave sister, your tribal name will
00:29:28.500 be Shouting Crazy Lady, yes, that will be, oh, wow, thank you so much, Chief, Chief Texas
00:29:36.500 Hold'em or whatever, thank you, that's so, yes, that is your, that is your, the great spirit,
00:29:41.580 great mother spirit of the Minnesota Casino and Resort Hotel has told me that your tribal
00:29:48.620 name is Shrieking Lunatic Karen, it's actually, you know, it's just Karen actually is your tribal
00:29:54.000 name, so speaketh the great spirit, thank you, thank you so much.
00:29:58.560 Chief, that's great, good on them, hilarious that she bought that one, hook, line, and
00:30:03.300 sinker, also, just to point on that little clip, you need to show that clip to your grandma,
00:30:11.280 and not just your grandma, but your, like, let's say you have a grandma who's a Democrat
00:30:15.260 or a liberal, you know, she was liberal for her age, and she still thinks of herself as
00:30:20.760 a liberal or a Democrat, I think there are a lot of people like this, maybe for some of
00:30:24.420 you, it's your parents, you need to show that clip, because they don't believe that
00:30:30.680 this is happening, and they don't believe it because the establishment media don't show
00:30:33.740 this stuff, and the establishment newspapers don't write about this stuff.
00:30:38.220 They would be shocked to find out that the lieutenant governor of Minnesota calls herself
00:30:46.420 hoochie hoochie hoochie hoochie shouting woman because she's a member of the white pride nation
00:30:52.540 of the Indians in Minnesota or whatever.
00:30:54.780 They would be shocked to find out that the lieutenant governor of Minnesota is helping
00:30:59.560 to coordinate anti-ice insurrection, the obstruction of federal law enforcement.
00:31:04.840 They would be shocked to find out that mainstream Democrats, that the leading presidential contender
00:31:09.420 in 2028, is calling for more trans kids, says he wants to see more trans kids.
00:31:15.720 They don't believe that.
00:31:16.960 They would be shocked to find out that the governor of Virginia, the Democrat, wants to
00:31:20.600 slaughter babies five seconds before birth and is actively calling for a constitutional right
00:31:24.960 to that.
00:31:25.600 They wouldn't believe that.
00:31:27.900 You got to show that to them, because the Democrats' chief strategy heading into 26 and
00:31:32.480 then into 28 is going to be to hide all of it.
00:31:35.260 Okay, I have much more to talk about, but I'm going to stop talking briefly because I
00:31:39.680 have a guest who is going to tell you a lot about how big tech is rigging the elections
00:31:44.520 going into 2026.
00:31:46.520 Have you checked out the Rotten Tomato reviews for the Pendragon cycle, Rise of the Merlin?
00:31:52.000 So it's amazing.
00:31:52.840 You would think this thing would be panned and pilloried, especially by the libs.
00:31:56.940 No, no, no.
00:31:58.140 The overall series has an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is very, very good.
00:32:02.480 But something crazy happens.
00:32:03.760 When you look episode by episode, the scores just keep going up.
00:32:07.060 Now episode six is out.
00:32:08.500 It is huge.
00:32:09.400 I have heard it for years now described as the best episode of the series.
00:32:13.320 It's excellent.
00:32:15.620 You can get it on the Daily Wire Plus app.
00:32:18.900 You have to become a Daily Wire member.
00:32:21.300 You can get your app on your phone, on your iPad, on your Roku, on your Samsung, on your
00:32:24.340 Apple TV, on your Vizio, on your MySpace, on your Palm Pilot.
00:32:27.420 It is basically everywhere.
00:32:28.740 Episode six of the Pendragon cycle, Rise of the Merlin, premieres tomorrow.

00:32:34.900 Investing is all about the future.
00:32:37.020 So what do you think is going to happen?
00:32:38.940 Bitcoin is sort of inevitable at this point.
00:32:41.440 I think it would come down to precious metals.
00:32:44.040 I hope we don't go cashless.
00:32:46.140 I would say land is a safe investment.
00:32:48.700 Technology, companies.
00:32:49.860 Solar energy.
00:32:50.860 Robotic pollinators might be a thing.
00:32:53.460 A wrestler to face a robot.
00:32:55.180 That will have to happen.
00:32:56.420 So whatever you think is going to happen in the future, you can invest in it at Wealthsimple.

00:33:04.840 My favorite comment yesterday is from Nancy Swass, who says,
00:33:08.460 aliens are real, but they didn't come from space.
00:33:11.260 That's true.
00:33:12.060 They came from Venezuela.
00:33:13.980 They came from Somalia.
00:33:15.540 They do not come from planet Zebulon 5.
00:33:18.320 Anyone telling you that they do is quite suspect.
00:33:21.140 Now, one of the people who has probably the keenest insight into the way that technology,
00:33:32.280 big tech, has contorted and perverted our political order is a previous guest on Michael
00:33:38.220 And.
00:33:39.400 That is Dr. Robert Epstein, who is a Harvard-trained research psychologist.
00:33:44.760 We'll forgive him for that.
00:33:45.780 You know, nobody's perfect.
00:33:47.160 He's also the former editor-in-chief of Psychology Today.
00:33:51.800 He has uncovered a lot of very serious biases in big tech, Google in particular.
00:33:58.680 I'm sure he's on about 100 Google hit lists.
00:34:00.840 I'm just imagining that.
00:34:01.700 I'm not making any accusations.
00:34:02.860 But this guy is a real thorn in the side of big tech.
00:34:06.980 And a lot of us have chilled out about big tech because President Trump won with the
00:34:10.820 popular vote.
00:34:11.640 And so we all say, okay, no big deal.
00:34:13.420 You know, they're playing ball now.
00:34:14.760 They come groveling to the Oval Office.
00:34:16.600 They give gifts to the president.
00:34:17.940 Okay, good.
00:34:18.680 We don't need to worry.
00:34:19.620 Some of our numbers after the Daily Wire was almost destroyed, actually, by Facebook
00:34:23.480 some years ago.
00:34:24.520 But our numbers have rebounded.
00:34:26.120 They kind of, you know, took their boot off the neck of conservatives on social media.
00:34:29.720 So we're all good, right?
00:34:30.940 Uh, no, not quite.
00:34:33.640 Turns out our old enemies are back and tougher than ever.
00:34:37.180 Dr. Epstein, thank you for coming on the show.
00:34:41.180 It's my pleasure, Michael.
00:34:42.340 Nice to see you again.
00:34:43.360 Wonderful to see you.
00:34:45.360 I have not heard, you and I were texting about some of the stuff that big tech is doing.
00:34:49.840 And I thought, look, I'm not the most up to date, you know, on the happenings in big
00:34:54.460 tech, but I do follow political news very, very closely.
00:34:57.800 And I have not heard a peep about this looking ahead to the midterms.
00:35:03.180 What is going on on Google, on YouTube?
00:35:07.180 How is the political order shifting?
00:35:11.660 I wrote about this a few weeks ago in the Daily Caller.
00:35:15.660 You're right.
00:35:16.420 No one is paying attention.
00:35:18.180 No one understands what's going on.
00:35:20.500 But Google and some of the other tech companies did actually back off.
00:35:25.520 Just as you said, they really did back off in 2024.
00:35:28.760 We know because we monitor big tech content going to registered voters in all 50 states
00:35:35.140 through the computers of a politically balanced, I have to emphasize that, a politically balanced
00:35:40.760 group of more than 17,000 voters.
00:35:43.520 We're monitoring 24 hours a day.
00:35:45.640 We see the actual content that these companies are showing people.
00:35:51.020 They really did back off in 2024.
00:35:54.880 It turns out they had a plan and you've nailed it.
00:35:58.700 What they've done is they have sucked up to Donald Trump knowing how vulnerable he is to flattery.
00:36:08.140 And they threw money at him and compliments and they just went all out.
00:36:12.800 And frankly, they backed off so much that they, the normal manipulations they would have been
00:36:19.860 doing, they backed off.
00:36:21.280 So they had a plan here.
00:36:23.320 Now, here's how it's actually working out.
00:36:26.860 Donald Trump and his administration has backed off.
00:36:31.120 They had been going very, very aggressively against big tech and they've backed off.
00:36:36.060 The Department of Justice, gone.
00:36:37.980 In other words, Google has absolute total power at this point, which is what they were
00:36:43.020 aiming for, apparently.
00:36:44.340 So the idea would be that when big tech started this flattery campaign, big tech says, we're
00:36:51.240 going to put our weapons down and we're going to put our, we're going to help you guys.
00:36:55.100 Yeah.
00:36:55.280 Okay.
00:36:55.640 Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
00:36:57.920 We're going to put our weapons down.
00:36:59.460 And the Trump administration, please, how about you guys put your weapons down?
00:37:03.840 We'll all be friends now.
00:37:04.900 So everyone puts their weapons down until what?
00:37:10.980 Well, it turns out that right after the election, our numbers started to change.
00:37:19.020 And I just give you the latest numbers because they're so shocking to me that I can barely
00:37:26.800 believe them, but they're, they're real.
00:37:28.520 They're coming again from the actual computers of more than 17,000 registered voters in all
00:37:34.520 50 states, politically balanced on Google, uh, liberal bias since that 2024 election has
00:37:42.620 increased by more than 275%, which means they're also suppressing conservative content.
00:37:49.500 Now I'm not a conservative, so, you know, go Google, uh, on YouTube, which is owned by Google
00:37:55.360 liberal bias in those recommendations that they make telling you what to watch next has increased
00:38:01.520 by over 450% since the election in 2024.
00:38:08.260 In other words, now that, now that we've got these people off our backs, we can do anything
00:38:13.440 we want.
00:38:14.180 And what they are doing is going to a tremendous extreme to make sure that they can guarantee
00:38:20.980 certain outcomes in the midterm elections, which we are monitoring now very aggressively.
00:38:26.080 We're actually expanding our system.
00:38:28.020 Uh, we're looking at swing congressional districts, swing states, and that's where the action is.
00:38:34.820 And we're keeping a very, very close eye.
00:38:37.800 And you know what?
00:38:39.180 The big tech companies don't care because they got the feds off their back.
00:38:46.380 False flag operation worked beautifully.
00:38:49.480 You know, I've noticed this anecdotally.
00:38:51.960 I've been doing this show for many years at this point and actually a number of shows on
00:38:55.460 different networks.
00:38:56.360 So I have just anecdotally, I, I have a pretty good little sample size here of how the algorithms
00:39:02.080 work and sometimes, you know, you get a big boost in views and you say, well, it's because
00:39:06.840 I did a really great show.
00:39:08.260 Sometimes you get a little dip in views.
00:39:09.680 You say, ah, you know that I blame my producers.
00:39:11.500 I never take responsibility myself, but I say, you know, look, maybe that wasn't the best show.
00:39:15.840 But often there are these seasonal changes and you say, well, that's actually not attributable
00:39:21.600 to any of the content we're putting out or even organic social trends.
00:39:26.020 This is Facebook trying to kill my company.
00:39:28.460 This is YouTube trying to nuke our channels or something like that.
00:39:32.740 And this was, this was going on years ago.
00:39:34.220 And I have noticed anecdotally in recent months, there is a, just a general kind of trend downward
00:39:43.180 for conservative, especially pro-Trump media.
00:39:47.440 And the voices that are on the rise, you get some of the left-wing voices.
00:39:51.280 And then the ones on the rise on the right that are getting a lot of attention that are being
00:39:54.780 thrown into the algo are the ostensibly right-wing voices that just conveniently
00:40:00.480 oppose the Republican Party, oppose Trump, you know, are trying to depress turnout.
00:40:05.960 And I thought, well, that's very interesting.
00:40:07.720 Probably some of those voices don't even know that that's happening or they're useful idiots
00:40:11.080 in the way you had in the Cold War, you know, with the Russians.
00:40:13.800 But in any case, I, I, I've seen this trend long enough and wide enough that when you bring
00:40:21.100 some actual data here, I say, oh, I wasn't going crazy.
00:40:24.900 There is a method here.
00:40:26.600 So how does it end?
00:40:29.680 Well, there, there's, uh, I can tell you, they're certainly going to turn the House of
00:40:34.560 Representatives, uh, but they're going after the Senate too.
00:40:38.060 And the problem is that people have, they, they, they're, they're, this false flag operation
00:40:44.720 of theirs was so successful and they control messaging.
00:40:47.740 Remember they control messaging.
00:40:49.740 They control most of what, what, what, what, what of the content that people get sent to
00:40:54.740 online.
00:40:55.260 They determine that they also have complete control over what goes viral and what doesn't.
00:41:00.300 So what they have done now is worked out a perfect system wherein it appears that they're
00:41:07.920 okay, we don't have to worry about them when in fact, that what they're actually doing
00:41:12.600 is getting more aggressive than they have ever been before.
00:41:17.160 And because we're the only, we have the only monitoring system in this country.
00:41:21.100 In fact, in the world, uh, where the first, first organization to have built such a system,
00:41:26.180 we can see what they're actually doing.
00:41:28.540 Cause we're getting the actual content coming onto the screens of registered voters and children
00:41:34.640 in two.
00:41:35.420 And what's happening is outrageous.
00:41:39.520 Now in 2024, just put this in perspective, they were being sued by the department of justice
00:41:46.480 of under antitrust law.
00:41:49.280 And they were declared in August of 2024 to be a monopoly.
00:41:53.820 And the normal remedy there is to break up the company.
00:41:58.820 And everyone thought that the courts, the federal court was going to break Google up until just
00:42:06.160 a few months ago when the final remedy, uh, a verdict was, was handed down.
00:42:12.040 The court did nothing.
00:42:14.680 They did nothing.
00:42:16.220 That's never happened before in a major antitrust case.
00:42:18.880 The court just did nothing.
00:42:21.640 And immediately, uh, the CEO of Google flew to Washington to, to thank Donald Trump personally.
00:42:28.960 Donald Trump acknowledged the thing, said, you guys are great.
00:42:31.960 We love you.
00:42:33.000 And that's where things stand now.
00:42:35.420 No one is paying attention.
00:42:37.960 They've got the attention off of them and their shenanigans, but we're collecting the data.
00:42:45.460 We're working with members of Congress.
00:42:47.140 We're working with AGs around the country.
00:42:49.180 We're trying to keep some people such as yourself informed, but we're so far, we're not generating
00:42:56.420 the interest that this topic deserves.
00:42:59.300 This is serious.
00:43:00.560 This is a private company, uh, deciding, uh, who's going to run our country.
00:43:06.420 And they can, they can shift up to 15 million votes without anyone knowing what they're doing.
00:43:12.200 Except of course, we are capturing the data that we're capturing.
00:43:15.460 Well, this is key because we're looking ahead at the midterm.
00:43:17.960 So we're what now?
00:43:18.780 Nine months out from the midterms, a little less.
00:43:21.220 And, uh, it's time.
00:43:23.160 You can run a campaign in that time.
00:43:24.480 You can get some stuff done, but time is, time is short.
00:43:27.180 Uh, you, you say that this can shift 15 million votes.
00:43:31.440 I think a lot of people here, oh yeah, all right.
00:43:32.860 There's more bias on YouTube.
00:43:34.200 Oh, what, what else is new?
00:43:35.400 You know, but you're saying, no, no, this has tangible effects on the political order.
00:43:40.980 And we can quantify those 15 million votes in a midterm election year that was all already
00:43:47.460 going to be tough could be catastrophic.
00:43:49.420 Well, you can call it what you like.
00:43:53.760 I, I, it's just maybe someone, some people will like it actually.
00:43:57.040 Yeah, of course.
00:43:57.860 Some people will like it, but it's very disturbing because we don't want a private company in a way
00:44:04.360 that's, that you can't even see in a way that's largely invisible.
00:44:07.160 You don't want them running our country, which is, and they have the power to do that.
00:44:12.920 Now, internally, by the way, they know this and we've learned this over and over again from
00:44:18.480 whistleblowers from the company, from leaks from the company.
00:44:21.340 We know that they know that they have this power and they are exercising it now to an extreme
00:44:29.160 degree, except because of this false flag operation, because of this, this veneer that
00:44:34.740 they've painted, no one at this point is paying attention.
00:44:38.860 In fact, uh, before the 2024 election, I used to get two or three invitations every day,
00:44:44.700 uh, to, to be on podcasts and TV shows.
00:44:48.520 Uh, I think you're the first person who's invited me on maybe in the past year.
00:44:54.860 Because everyone is riding high.
00:44:56.960 Yeah.
00:44:57.600 I know this is what really disturbed when you, when you texted me these latest numbers, I
00:45:01.940 thought, wow, okay, you know, uh, 275% increase in liberal bias on Google search, 450% increase
00:45:08.320 on YouTube.
00:45:09.000 This is not just a little bit, you know, putting your thumb on the scale.
00:45:12.000 This is big and it's increasing.
00:45:13.900 This could be an existential problem if you care about which party wins the midterms.
00:45:18.720 And even if you just care about the structure of our government, you know, this would, would
00:45:23.200 disturb, I think, uh, an honest liberal with integrity.
00:45:26.220 Uh, I said, wow, that that's pretty crazy.
00:45:28.040 But I agree there was a lot of riding high, I think obviously because Silicon Valley is
00:45:33.540 responsible for propping up the stock market right now.
00:45:35.840 There's a real desire.
00:45:37.320 There's a kind of hope that maybe Silicon Valley can play along and we can get along with
00:45:41.400 them because there are a lot of economic benefits, but, uh, this could be brutal and the, the
00:45:46.900 current happy, sunny state of things could radically shift come November, uh, brought about
00:45:51.880 by big tech itself.
00:45:52.840 Dr. Epstein, I have to leave it there.
00:45:54.180 Where can people follow you?
00:45:55.120 America's with an S that's America's digital shield.com.
00:46:01.120 You can see the data as the data are coming in and you can see the bias and we've never
00:46:05.500 seen anything like it before.
00:46:07.340 I hope people see digital shield.com.
00:46:10.240 I hope people see the data.
00:46:11.540 And then more importantly, I hope that people in positions of authority can do something
00:46:14.960 about it.
00:46:15.820 Dr. Epstein, thank you for being here.
00:46:18.040 Folks, wonderful to be with all of you, even you hoi polloi on YouTube right now.
00:46:22.400 Uh, however, I need you all to come over to daily wire right now because it is work from
00:46:27.880 home Wednesday.
00:46:28.520 You know, I hate working from home and I think it's mostly fake.
00:46:32.100 However, there's one kind of work from home.
00:46:34.280 I really like, which is the homework assignment that I give you for Wednesday.
00:46:38.060 This is the real creme de la creme separates the men from the boys.
00:46:40.420 We're going to be going through GK Chesterton's poem, Lepanto, about Christians slaying Turks
00:46:47.400 in the waters.
00:46:48.420 Uh, so the rest of the show continues now.
00:46:51.120 You don't want to miss it.
00:46:51.860 Become a member.
00:46:52.300 Use code NOLSKNWLAS to check out for two months free on all annual plans.
00:46:55.240 What was it like, Merlin, to be alone with God?
00:47:17.060 Is that who you think I was alone with?
00:47:18.920 Merlin, I knew your father.
00:47:25.620 I am yet convinced that he was not of this world.
00:47:30.740 All men know of the great Taliesin.
00:47:34.100 You are my father.
00:47:35.300 Other gods should war for my soul.
00:47:38.440 Princess Garrus, savior of our people.
00:47:41.400 I know what the bull god offered you.
00:47:46.520 I was offered the same.
00:47:48.480 And?
00:47:50.000 There is a new power at work in the world.
00:47:52.100 I've seen it.
00:47:54.140 A god who sacrifices what he loves for us.
00:47:56.860 We are each given only one life, Singer.
00:47:59.600 No.
00:48:00.780 We're given another.
00:48:01.520 I learned of Yazoo the Christ.
00:48:06.900 And I have become his follower.
00:48:08.780 He's waiting on a miracle.
00:48:10.300 And I think you can give him one.
00:48:12.340 Trust in Yazoo.
00:48:13.680 He is the only hope for men like us.
00:48:16.600 Fate of Britain never rests in the hands of the great light.
00:48:19.620 Great light?
00:48:20.760 Great darkness?
00:48:22.180 Such things mattered to me then.
00:48:24.600 What matters to you now, mistress of lies?
00:48:28.320 You.
00:48:29.880 Nephew.
00:48:31.520 The sword of a high king.
00:48:37.240 How many lives must be lost before you accept the power you were born to wield?
00:48:44.940 Circling to the promises of a god who has abandoned you.
00:48:48.180 I cannot take up that sword again.
00:48:51.020 You know what you must do.
00:48:54.460 Great light, forgive me.
00:49:01.520 The time has come to be reborn.
00:49:07.240 The time has come to be reborn.
00:49:08.500 You
