00:04:06.800 people during the Great Leap Forward alone. He killed an additional two to eight million people

00:04:16.840 relatively restrained here in my estimates. However, before we clutch our pearls, before we

00:04:23.540 feign shock and outrage that one of the real thought leaders of the American left is openly

00:04:29.800 endorsing Mao Zedong, we should remember he's already told us this. This is the guy who said

00:04:36.940 that the streets should run red in capitalist blood, who's called for the murder of Senator

00:04:41.180 Rick Scott in Florida, who's called for the murder of Senator Tom Cotton. This is the guy

00:04:46.380 who said that America deserved 9-11. And this is the guy that Democrats to this day choose to be

00:04:51.980 associated with. Momdani giving him fist bumps and high fives, AOC. Big Democrat leaders. He's

00:04:58.960 going out there. He's campaigning for people. The New York Times is platforming him time and time

00:05:03.480 again. So that's who they are. That's what they believe. And the only difference, the only

00:05:09.440 shocking thing about Hassan Piker's statement is that he will state it explicitly, whereas the

00:05:15.900 rest of the left, including the mainstream left, just kind of wink at it. They wink at it. They

00:05:20.800 imply it. But Hassan Piker will just state it openly. But they all believe it.

00:05:24.780 all of the other evils of Mao aside, he killed a lot of people. He killed a lot of his political

00:05:33.460 opponents. But then again, a lot of the mainstream left supports political violence

00:05:37.460 against his political opponents. Hassan Piker is just more open about it.

00:05:40.700 So in some ways, you got to kind of give Piker some credit. He's just saying the quiet part out

00:05:45.240 loud. He's being more consistent and honest about what a lot of the left believes in.

00:05:56.780 was this op in, when was it, 2010 or something, where the Democrat strategists tried to say that

00:06:02.200 Rush Limbaugh was the de facto head of the Republican Party. He wasn't really the head

00:06:05.780 of the Republican Party. He was an important broadcaster, an important voice on the right,

00:06:09.760 without question. Very, you know, he's the guy who was the king of talk radio.

00:06:14.560 But he wasn't the de facto head of the Republican Party. When it comes to a guy like Hassan Piker,

00:06:20.040 I'm not saying he's the head of the Democrat Party. I'm just saying he's without question

00:06:24.100 one of the most important thought leaders on the left. And he supports murdering

00:06:30.020 moderate Republicans in the Senate, and he supports Mao Zedong. So it's an important 1.00

00:06:35.180 thing to keep in mind for the midterms. And I think voters know that, and I think it's showing

00:06:38.920 up in the polls. So this is why, speaking of Mamdani, the Democrats are trying to make a hard

00:06:44.300 pivot right now. The Democrats, which in recent years have been defined by woke, by trans rights

00:06:52.480 for kids or whatever, boys and girls bathrooms, by abortion on demand without apology, by slut 0.91

00:10:40.200 unpleasant conditions, and some hotshot lawyer at Cravath, Swain, and Moore who makes a million

00:10:44.820 dollars a year. Don't you think that the janitor might object to your lumping him in with that

00:10:49.680 person? Wouldn't anybody object? It's just absurd to suggest that those people are in the same

00:10:54.360 socioeconomic class. Mom, Donnie says, enough with definitions, man. You know, come on. What

00:11:01.360 is the working class? The median household income in the United States is actually higher than I

00:11:06.900 thought it was. The median household income in the U.S. right now is $84,000. Now, that's not

00:11:11.560 owing to real wages rising mostly. It's mostly due to inflation, but nevertheless, median household

00:11:16.540 income is $84,000. The working class income is somewhere in the range of $30,000 to $60,000.

00:11:23.220 Now, income doesn't tell the whole story. You could have a super rich guy who sold his company

00:11:26.500 for $20 million, and he has not a lot of income. So, you also have to include net worth. Working

00:11:32.460 class net worth is estimated between $20,000 and $100,000. All of those numbers are going to be 1.00

00:11:37.860 higher in New York and California because there's higher cost of living because there's bad liberal

00:11:41.680 economic policies. Nevertheless, the point that the New York Times lady is making is that there's 0.90

00:11:48.060 an economic component to the working class, which Mamdani gets wrong. By basically no definition

00:11:55.000 of the working class can someone who makes a million dollars a year be considered working

00:11:59.200 class. But there's also a quantitative element. There's also a qualitative element, which is that

00:12:04.820 working class usually implies a physical job, a tradesman, say, a manual laborer.

00:12:14.940 The term working class usually implies something about education. It usually implies no college

00:12:19.360 education. The reason this is really important is because there are lots of tradesmen who didn't go

00:12:24.600 to college who make more money than PhDs in gender studies who are associate or adjunct

00:12:31.420 professors at some kooky liberal school. In other words, there are people who qualitatively

00:12:36.720 seem like they're in a higher, more prestigious class who actually make less money than the people

00:12:41.860 who qualitatively are categorized in a lower class. And this is brutal for the Democrats'

00:12:48.700 That's class politics because when it comes to the actual working class, people who are tradesmen, who have an actual physical skill, who regardless of their income, they're not making $2 million a year at Gravath, Swain, and more.

00:13:06.900 But the people who fit into that category don't support Mamdani.

00:13:13.560 That's the real key.

00:13:14.760 Mamdani's strongest support in the election came from the middle and upper middle income voters.

00:13:21.360 And so Mamdani's class warrior appeal does not appeal to the working class by any definition.

00:13:30.580 Whether you're talking about money, whether you're talking about skill set, whether you're

00:13:34.540 talking about education, Mamdani does not appeal to the working class, to tradesmen,

00:13:41.440 to truck drivers, to manual laborers. That's not who he's appealing to. He's appealing to

00:13:46.380 a trust fund kid, even if the kid doesn't make a lot of money, the trust fund kid who's a

00:13:50.900 Columbia graduate student, who's getting a degree in social work or in sociology or something like

00:13:56.760 that. In other words, Momdani's appeal, he appeals to immigrants and some of that's where

00:14:02.040 one area where in some cases you're getting a lower income, but it's not like what you'd call

00:14:06.300 the working class. In other words, Mamdani's appeal is cultural. It's not primarily economic,

00:14:12.920 which is why the Democrats attempting this rebrand away from woke, which is a cultural

00:14:17.800 movement into economic populism is not going to work. The right right now, I'm sure they're

00:14:23.660 going to figure out a way to screw it up. But the right Republicans right now do a much better job

00:14:28.240 on economic populism running against mass migration. It's basically just the Republicans

00:14:33.440 and Bernie Sanders who understand how to run against that. That's economic populism.

00:14:37.180 Running on tariffs, that's economic populism. Running against NAFTA and globalization and

00:14:43.140 unfettered free trade, that's economic populism. The Dems can't do that. The Dems are running on 0.94

00:14:48.620 chopping off your kids' genitals. They're running on Mao Zedong, even that. That is actually 1.00

00:14:58.120 cultural radicalism. That appeals to the Columbia graduate student. It does not appeal to the

00:15:04.900 carpenter, okay? Now, AOC, who is smarter at this than Momdani, she's attempting her own version of

00:22:47.440 beginning of my political life. And in all of those years, I have just seen the craziest poll
