00:20:15.260 what John Adams said, that the Constitution's built for a moral and religious people. What

00:20:20.020 people focus on that as if John Adams were some kind of Bible thumper or something. You can make

00:20:23.700 it even simpler than that. You can even reduce it to the level of just pure virtue. If you have a

00:20:29.660 country full of vicious people who are constantly engaged in all manner of vice and sin, you're

00:20:34.920 going to have a bad country. And it doesn't matter how pristine your copy of the Constitution is.

00:21:08.880 lose the House, but we were heavily favored to keep the Senate. That started to turn.

00:22:24.140 not even just that one pack. There are others who are pulling their money out as well. You've got

00:22:29.240 the Old North Action Super PAC. You've got the Senate Leadership Fund, which is the main GOP

00:22:33.680 Senate Super PAC. They're moving money around. They pulled almost a million dollars in broadcast

00:22:37.480 buys. They added $400,000 in digital, but they pulled the broadcast. It's looking bad. And then

00:22:43.760 you have another Republican senator, a sitting Republican senator, who's breaking ranks now.

00:22:49.240 He's going after the Trump family. He's calling for an investigation into Don Jr. because of

00:22:54.020 allegations that some foreign guy put some money into Don Jr.'s wedding party or whatever. It's all

00:23:00.080 kind of a cloudy accusation. But the Don Jr. of it all doesn't really matter. What matters is

00:23:06.260 the turn of the GOP politicians. Because there's a line right now. The GOP, we're so good at cope.

00:38:09.680 redefine marriage. It's totally crazy. Now he's defending gay marriage, all this other stuff.

00:38:14.020 But the one principle that you thought Bill Kristol was going to hold on to

00:38:17.220 was invading the Middle East. It was clearly the thing he most cared about.

00:38:22.660 And he's turning on that. Now, he's just quoting an article from his website, The Bulwark. It says,

00:38:33.520 fix the rotten Supreme Court, get us out of the Middle East, renew our friendship with Canada,

00:38:38.800 blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The reason that he's saying this is not that Bill Kristol,

00:38:44.780 I don't think, who knows, maybe you just went totally nuts, but I think that it will be a

00:38:51.340 chilly day in hell when Bill Kristol actually wants America to stop being involved in the

00:38:57.040 Middle East. The fact that he's posting this column with the quote, so he's saying, this isn't

00:39:01.360 exactly my opinion, but he is promoting the idea. And then he's not even saying, here's what I want.

00:39:05.900 He's saying, here's what Democrats should offer because he wants Democrats to win because he hates

00:39:09.720 Trump. Because he views Trump as a threat to his political program and his influence and power.

00:39:17.780 Bill Kristol is a smart guy. Okay. He is. He's a smart guy. He's like wrong about a lot of things

00:39:51.400 there. It's not that we want to run to get a nuclear weapon. It's not that the mullahs have

00:39:55.060 a right to exist as a regime. It's not any of that. It's just a practical question.

00:42:15.880 just going to give it to more people. What does that even mean? You're saying that there are

00:42:20.820 these people who don't have health care, and you're going to give it to them because they're

00:42:23.320 too poor. Okay. We already have programs for that. We have Medicaid. We have lots of state-run

00:42:28.860 programs all around the country that give health insurance to people who are too poor to afford it.

00:42:35.560 The rest of the people pay for health insurance. They pay for health insurance either through

00:42:41.080 their employers or they pay for health insurance through the Obamacare exchanges. But that's how

00:42:46.900 it works. And Abdul Al-Said is saying, well, no, no, in order to give health care to some people,

00:42:51.640 we're going to make all of you who are paying for health care pay more. Hold on. The people

00:42:56.860 who don't pay anything are already getting it for free. And the people whose costs are about to go

00:43:01.280 up are already getting health care. So what is this really about? The one thing the Democrats

00:43:10.220 are telling you their campaigns are bad is affordability specifically with regard to

00:43:14.520 healthcare. We just want to give you all healthcare. And yet the one thing we know that they're not

00:43:18.840 going to deliver, and when you find the commentary from them from years past, we know that they're

00:43:23.500 not going to deliver that. They're going to make healthcare more expensive, which is exactly what

00:43:27.840 happened the last time that they ran on this in the Obama administration. They said, we're not

00:43:33.080 going to take away your doctors. We're going to make healthcare cheaper. You're not going to pay

00:43:36.380 a penny more for your health care. Then Obamacare passes. Everyone's health care costs go up.

00:43:40.780 They take away their doctors. And what does Obama say? He admits it. He says, well,

00:43:43.780 you didn't think you were going to get all that good stuff for free, did you?

00:43:46.200 Yeah, we did because you told us we would. That's what they're giving you. They're giving you that,

00:46:54.660 We treat religion as preference.

00:46:57.680 We treat matters of economics, politics, sociology, and so on.

00:47:08.920 But religion, I take it seriously, but you probably take it seriously.
