00:00:56.200 up to $500,000 at cardiff.co slash Knowles.
00:00:59.420 It's election day, and the shenanigans are already underway as voting machines mysteriously
00:01:06.260 go down in one of the most hotly contested swing districts in the country.
00:01:10.900 Another young Democrat is arrested for assaulting and threatening to murder conservatives on campus.
00:01:15.060 And a new report claims that 68% of people who dye their hair unnatural colors have mental
00:01:21.180 problems.
00:01:21.940 Not exactly a man bites dog story.
00:01:24.560 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:01:25.100 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:29.420 welcome back to the show on election day as republicans fear a blue wave blowout that could
00:01:49.040 give the dems the house and the senate and some governor's mansions a lot of republicans a lot of
00:01:55.020 pro-lifers especially, are furious at Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers, the Republican,
00:02:00.520 who they accuse of going squishy on abortion. We'll get into what's really going on here,
00:02:04.300 because I don't think people fully appreciate what Mike Rogers is saying. First, though,
00:02:09.340 let's just get to the shenanigans at the top. We're going to have Cabot coming on at the end
00:02:12.240 of the show to give us the latest quantitative update, how much we need to brace ourselves.
00:02:17.720 Will the blue wave actually turn into a red undertow? Listen to the complexity of these
00:02:24.580 metaphors. Will the Democrats just win everything and send us all to the gulags? So in Westchester
00:02:29.720 County, Hudson Valley of New York, a major swing district, I actually started in politics in this
00:02:36.980 district. This is where I cut my teeth politically, so I know the district very, very well. The
00:02:41.420 Republican congressman there, Mike Lawler, is reporting, quote, there's a problem with every
00:02:46.360 ballot scanner in Westchester County. We do not yet know the exact cause of this issue, whether
00:02:51.640 it is the ballot or the machine, the board of elections is working with their vendors to resolve
00:02:56.320 it. However, every ballot will be counted. Stay online and vote. Do not leave the polling place
00:03:01.980 without voting. Minor usage note here, Mike Lawler speaking like a true New Yorker. He says,
00:03:07.720 you're going to wait online. No one else in the country, everyone else, they correct me when I
00:03:11.880 say it too. They say, no, Michael, you wait in line. But no, the New York way of saying it is
00:03:15.120 waiting online. It doesn't mean you're on the internet. It means you wait physically online
00:03:18.480 and do not go anywhere. This is seven o'clock in the morning. This was coming out
00:03:23.000 that there's a problem with every ballot scanner in Westchester County. Westchester County is one
00:03:30.360 of the richest places in the country. It's one hour north of Manhattan, supposedly the most
00:03:34.800 important city in the country. They can't get the ballots to work in the rich suburb of the
00:03:42.280 supposedly most advanced city in the country. First thing, most important thing, Congressman
00:03:47.900 Lawler is drawing this point home. Do not get off the line. Do not go home. Do not be discouraged,
00:03:56.400 especially in a swing district. But I don't care if you're in an R plus 55 district. Stay 1.00
00:04:03.320 in line or online. Stay where you are and cast that ballot. There are always shenanigans. I
00:04:10.260 mentioned that I'd worked elections in that district before. There are always shenanigans.
00:04:14.880 The Democrats are always bussing up some union workers at a district, SEIU.
00:04:20.300 There are always questions about who is eligible or ineligible to vote.
00:04:23.860 There are always questions about ballot counting.
00:04:27.100 That always happens.
00:04:28.460 That's been true since time immemorial.
00:04:30.660 Here, it's particularly scandalous because they're saying that the mechanism of voting just simply doesn't work.
00:04:37.140 And so this is just a point to keep in our heads for the future, no matter what happens tonight.
00:04:41.860 why do we computerize voting why are we doing this it seems like every election we hear this
00:04:49.600 oh there was a problem with the machine oh there was a problem with the tabulation oh there was a
00:04:53.760 problem with the drives oh there so why do we computerize the voting for most of our nation's
00:05:01.400 history we just had paper ballots the argument for computerized voting is we get the results faster
00:05:06.760 but we don't. We get them later. Now, with all our super-duper advanced computers,
00:05:12.020 we don't know who won on election night or the next night or the next night in a lot of places.
00:05:16.620 Sometimes we don't know for weeks. Why don't we just go to the thing that has always worked?
00:05:23.900 Because the old paper ballots are much harder to use for fraud. It's not impossible. There has
00:05:30.120 been fraud. LBJ stole a Senate seat in Texas. Now we're worried about Texas going Democrat once
00:05:34.260 again. But why do we do it? It seems like every election we hear about this. Computerized voting
00:05:40.820 is much more open to fraud, much more open to hacking, much more open to all the technical
00:05:45.440 problems that you have with every electronic gizmo in your life. Now we can't even cast the
00:05:49.760 ballots, and we don't get the results nearly as fast as we did when we had the old paper system.
00:05:55.800 The only reason for not voting by paper in the old-fashioned way, the only reason at this point
00:06:04.140 I think we must conclude, is so that the system can be more open to fraud.
00:06:09.660 How many times do we need to hear this story before we just go back to the way that things
00:06:14.500 used to work, where they worked very well, much better than they work now?
00:06:17.680 How many times? Seven in the morning on election day? You can't cast a ballot in one of the
00:06:22.780 richest places in the country? Give me a break. Okay. Now, speaking of staying there,
00:06:29.880 holding your ground, not being discouraged, not going home, here is the Vice President J.D. Vance.
00:06:34.140 telling Republicans how to think about the dismal poll numbers heading into the midterms.
00:06:40.780 Sometimes these polls actually have this demotivating effect on our voters.
00:06:46.240 I remember in the 2020 campaign, I want to say,
00:06:49.280 there was a Wisconsin poll that had Donald Trump down by 17 points in Wisconsin.
00:06:52.880 Or, of course, during the 2024 campaign, there was the famous poll that had us down in Iowa by three points,
00:06:58.660 which if we lose Iowa by three points or even if we only win Iowa by three points,
00:07:02.620 we were in for a long night.
00:07:04.140 Those polls all proved to be false, but I talk to people, and I do think they have the effect
00:07:08.660 of demotivating our voters, which is why I encourage people, ignore the polls,
00:07:13.680 run like we're down, and try to make the best case that we can.
00:07:16.700 And eventually, of course, the American people make the decision, and I guess it's 12 days.
00:07:20.460 This is true. This is just good advice for life. Ignore the polls, run like you're down. 0.88
00:07:25.380 Apply that in your personal life. Apply that in your marriage. Apply that at work.
00:07:30.620 certainly apply that in politics. Yes, of course, perennially good advice,
00:07:36.500 polls, whether they're looking too good for Republicans or whether they're looking too
00:07:39.760 bad for Republicans, paradoxically, both of those can have a demoralizing effect. So yes,
00:07:44.520 go out there, go vote, make sure your vote is counted, vote early and vote often,
00:07:50.580 and ignore the polls. That is very true. J.D. makes another good point, which is that
00:07:56.460 we have heard this song before in 2016. You remember in 2016, we heard that there was an
00:08:01.440 almost insurmountable chance that Hillary was going to win. Right now for today, we're getting
00:08:08.220 the numbers out of Harvard. The Harvard political analysis says that they have a 96% chance that
00:08:15.300 the Democrats will take the House of Representatives. 96, statistically, almost 100% chance. You know,
00:08:21.920 the only time that an Ivy League school told us that there was a higher chance that the Democrat
00:08:26.040 would win was in 2016, when Princeton came out and said there was a 99% chance that Hillary would
00:08:32.580 win. Do you remember that? 99% chance. On top of that, the New York Times said there was an 85%
00:08:37.820 chance Hillary would win. On top of that, 538, Nate Silver's old outlet said there was a 71% 0.91
00:08:44.180 chance that Hillary would win. And then what happened? Trump won. So that's a little bit
00:08:50.080 of evidence to not get demoralized by these aggregator numbers where they say, okay,
00:08:54.560 Looking at all the races and all the polls, we now conclude there's 100 billion percent
00:08:58.360 chance that the Democrats win everything.
00:08:59.860 Okay, fair enough.
00:09:01.740 However, I do fear that the polls are more accurate this year.
00:09:06.820 I am, if you put a gun to my head, I usually don't make predictions.
00:09:10.520 I don't bet on elections.
00:09:11.900 I don't bet on sports.
00:09:12.780 I don't, if you put a gun to my head, you said, what's the bet?
00:09:16.400 Is it going to be blue wave?
00:09:19.080 Democrats take the House and the Senate.
00:09:21.300 Is it going to be a secret, a red undercurrent that overwhelms the blue waves such that Democrats
00:09:28.060 win the House, but the Republicans hold the Senate? Is it going to be that the Democrats
00:09:33.680 win both, but only by a little bit? Or what? Or the Republicans are going to hold the House?
00:09:40.880 I don't know. Wouldn't that be so great? I think if you put a gun to my head right now,
00:09:43.980 I would say, I fear the Democrats are going to win everything by a pretty significant margin.
00:09:51.680 And I think that because I don't trust these aggregator things. I don't trust when Harvard
00:09:56.220 or Princeton come out and say, 99% chance Hillary wins everything, the Democrats win everything, 0.55
00:10:01.740 because there are just too many spots where that could fail. You're making too many assumptions
00:10:07.360 running those models to come out with such a broad sweeping conclusion. However, if you look
00:10:11.520 at the polls consistently for months now in all of these races, the Democrats are running ahead
00:10:18.320 in some cases beyond the margin of error or well beyond the margin of error. And then if you look
00:10:23.460 at the specific polling firms, it's true that a lot of pollsters skew for the Democrats, but even
00:10:27.920 the Republican firms have these guys running dead even. So you can say, well, Republicans don't
00:10:33.080 respond to polls. Yeah, I guess. Sometimes you say, have you ever been asked to respond to a
00:10:38.160 I actually have, and I know a lot of Republicans who have.
00:10:40.180 I never do it, though.
00:10:41.080 So yes, we can question the methodology.
00:10:43.620 I am just a little bit concerned that the Republicans and the Democrats in the poll
00:10:48.320 firms agree that it's either tied or the Democrats are going to win.
00:10:52.240 This trend seems to be in races throughout the country.
00:10:54.980 You have districts that were R plus 4, 5, 10, whatever, that are now trending Democrat.
00:11:01.040 On top of that, you have the prediction markets.
00:11:02.800 I don't put a ton of stock in the prediction markets.
00:11:05.180 I know we're all supposed to worship the prediction markets now.
00:11:07.920 I take the prediction markets with a grain of salt. However, you get the prediction markets
00:11:13.420 on top of the aggregators, on top of the historical precedent, on top of the individual
00:11:17.160 polls in all these places. It's brutal. All the more reason, to the vice president's point,
00:11:21.920 you stay in line. You wait there, you stay in line, you cast your ballot, cast at least one
00:11:27.140 of them, because this could be brutal. And the people who could win are awful. Top of that list,
00:11:33.840 Abdul Al-Sayed. We'll get to Abdul Al-Sayed's daddy issues in a second. His closing argument
00:11:38.300 for his campaign is that he hates white people because he hates his daddy. Before we get to that, 0.99
00:11:42.140 I want to tell you about Leaf Filter. There's a lot more to say. First, though, go to leaffilter.com

00:12:14.760 Personally, I would much rather spend the holidays
00:12:17.280 with the people inside my house

00:12:22.600 Mike, it's too high up.

00:13:03.660 Abdul El-Sayed, closing argument to the voters of Michigan.
00:13:07.460 He wants the voters to know not his stance on affordability or immigration or sovereignty.
00:13:14.940 No, no, no. 0.97
00:13:15.480 He wants voters to know that he hates white people specifically because his dad did not 0.99
00:13:20.120 show up to his soccer game or something. 0.98
00:13:24.440 Pete Hegseth, everybody knows that guy from the locker room.
00:13:26.840 Yeah, but he would have, you know, he would have rode the pine.
00:13:29.340 He probably got to start two games his entire career playing whatever sport he was.
00:13:33.640 And it made his life.
00:13:34.580 And his parents came and cheered so hard for him.
00:13:37.060 And as a kid whose parents never came, right, and started every game,
00:13:41.320 part of me is just like, bro, I feel bad for you.
00:13:43.080 Somebody told you a lot better than you really are. 0.92
00:13:45.280 Like, there's something about being a brown kid whose parents, like, you know, 1.00
00:13:48.180 no matter what you do, you're never enough. 1.00
00:13:49.820 Sure.
00:13:50.220 So what that means is that you never take yourself too seriously.
00:13:52.660 You're like, I'm never going to be enough.
00:13:54.440 Right, right, right.
00:13:55.500 So you're just like, oh, but for him, the very fact that he made the team, his mom was making cake, she was wearing his jersey, she had a cap made for him.
00:14:03.080 Yes.
00:14:03.440 You know the type.
00:14:04.540 So I'm like, bro, you grew up thinking that you were somehow special, but you are not.
00:14:09.800 And you have been living off that fume for the rest of your life.
00:14:12.880 Could you imagine what we would have become if we had supportive parents who just uplifted us?
00:14:18.420 Oh, right.
00:14:19.580 For beating mediocre.
00:14:21.060 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:14:21.640 Can I talk to you about strategy, though?
00:14:23.080 I love this interviewer. I don't know. I don't know who he is. Good hair. He's got nice hair,
00:14:28.860 that interviewer. But I love Abdul is just going on this weird daddy issues, mommy issues, 0.79
00:14:36.380 therapy couch kind of diatribe. And then the interview at the end. Yeah, right. Can we talk
00:14:44.440 about strategy, though? Look, hey, I'm sorry that you hate your parents or whatever. And you project
00:14:51.960 that hatred onto all white people and like no one applauded at your basketball game can we talk
00:14:59.220 about politics please we talk about that for a second you often see daddy issues play out in
00:15:05.940 politics or mommy issues or what you you often see these these politicians i have a high view
00:15:13.200 of politics i think there can be great statesmen pericles caesar augustus charlemagne churchill
00:15:20.480 De Gaulle. I don't know. The list goes on and on. I don't have the libertarian critique of politics
00:15:26.320 that it's always bad and the government is always bad and the ideal society is one in which we
00:15:33.040 abolish the government, which is an area where libertarians and communists would agree. Both are
00:15:38.240 kind of utopian ideologies descended from liberalism. And I don't agree with that. I
00:15:42.900 have a higher view of politics, and I think it can be a noble calling. But we got to admit,
00:15:47.320 politics does attract a lot of freaks. And one of those freaks would be Abdul El-Sayed, who
00:15:54.020 clearly hates his parents and has a major ax to grind with white people and with America. 0.99
00:16:01.340 He just hates America. I don't think that all the Democrat candidates running this year hate 0.57
00:16:06.200 America, but this guy does. This guy asks Hassan Piker to campaign for him, Hassan Piker, who
00:16:11.900 explicitly, repeatedly observes how much he hates America. And so, why does this matter for us?
00:16:21.100 Because if Abdul al-Sayed wins, he's not just going to govern according to a bad ideology
00:16:27.560 because he's wrong about the ways in which America can flourish, and he's wrong on taxes
00:16:32.900 and migration or whatever. This guy has a deep-seated contempt for America and Americans.
00:16:40.200 and it goes down to the very core of what patriotism is.
00:16:45.580 I've said on the show many times,
00:16:47.480 patriotism is an extension of the love of one's own family,
00:16:50.960 like the patria, like pater, comes from father.
00:16:54.160 The love and reverence you have for your family
00:16:56.600 at a fuller extent is expressed in the love that you have for your country.
00:17:01.940 So if you hate your parents, as the liberals tend to do,
00:17:05.040 but as this guy very clearly does,
00:17:07.100 you're very likely going to hate the country.
00:17:10.200 and this guy's got that in spades, so much so that the interviewer, who looks like kind of
00:17:15.620 a liberal guy, doesn't look like a rock-ripped conservative, he's looking at Abdul like Abdul 0.96
00:17:19.380 is nuts. He says, hey, hold on. We're supposed to be talking about politics here. I'm sorry you
00:17:23.460 hate your parents, but can we get back to politics? No, because the politics for Abdul 0.85
00:17:27.600 is hating his parents. Nicki Minaj, a voice of reason, comes out. She says,
00:17:32.120 if you listen carefully to Abdul, it's a misplaced anger at his own parents for not
00:17:36.700 making him feel worthy that turned into a raging jealousy of other children who had
00:17:39.860 parents that lifted them up and poured into them. He's projected all of that onto white people. He 0.68
00:17:43.640 needs to mend his heart before thinking about running for any office. White people haven't 1.00
00:17:47.040 heard him. He knows exactly who did. Notice how he doesn't get the satisfaction he was craving 0.93
00:17:51.680 from the interviewer. The interviewer simply anchors himself and doesn't validate that
00:17:55.640 experience. We should all do more of this. Don't validate anyone's experience for the sake of
00:17:59.080 temporary bonding. Preach. So true. Abdul El-Sayed should win this seat. I don't want him to win
00:18:04.380 the seat, but he should. He's replacing a Democrat in the Senate. Michigan is purple, but it leans
00:18:08.480 Democrat. This is a bad year for Republicans. It's the first midterm after the Republicans
00:18:12.500 won the whole government. Abdul should win this seat, and he probably will win this seat.
00:18:18.740 But if he does not win this seat, it is because that is just how repulsive a candidate he is.
00:18:26.300 Let's hope that voters see that repulsiveness, that just nauseating quality for Election Day.
00:18:34.160 Okay, now let's turn to the opponent in that race, Mike Rogers.
00:18:37.320 Mike Rogers, at the last minute in this race, is really irritating pro-lifers because he's just cut an ad in which he seems to go squishy on abortion.
00:18:47.900 I'm Mike Rogers.
00:18:49.260 I know that a decision about a pregnancy is one of the most difficult and personal decisions a woman will make.
00:18:54.920 Michigan voters have already decided the issue, and I respect that decision.
00:18:59.460 In the Senate, I won't do anything to change it.
00:19:02.020 So pro-lifers are furious over this.
00:19:05.060 Religious voters are furious over this.
00:19:07.000 Social conservative Republicans are furious over this.
00:19:10.200 I am fully pro-life.
00:19:12.620 I am as pro-life as it is possible to be.
00:19:16.060 Pro-life is one of the most important issues as far as I'm concerned.
00:19:19.660 It is not just one right among many.
00:19:21.480 It is the fundamental right from which all of the others come.
00:19:23.780 So I speak here, I think, with a fair bit of credibility.
00:19:29.580 I'm not losing sleep over the end.
00:19:32.020 I will lose sleep if Senator Mike Rogers in any way undermines the pro-life position,
00:19:37.260 but I'm not convinced that he would do that.
00:19:40.140 Listen, what does he say in the ad?
00:19:42.240 He says, abortion is a deeply personal decision. 0.55
00:19:46.440 That's true. 0.99
00:19:47.320 I mean, murdering your grandmother would be a deeply personal decision. 0.99
00:19:50.080 Committing suicide would be a deeply personal decision. 0.99
00:19:52.640 Going and robbing your neighbor to go by crack, that is a deeply personal decision.
00:19:58.140 The fact that those are personal decisions doesn't contradict the fact that they would be very bad decisions to make.
00:20:04.240 He then says, the voters of Michigan have ruled on abortion.
00:20:09.180 The argument that pro-life movement had made for a long time, which is an insufficient argument, but tactically, I guess it was probably useful.
00:20:17.060 And we'll come back to those tactics in a second.
00:20:20.040 The pro-life movement for half a century said, abortion is not addressed in the Constitution, and that's why Roe v. Wade is wrong.
00:20:26.500 That's why Roe v. Wade has to be overturned because abortion is an issue that properly belongs to the states.
00:20:33.580 They got their way. Roe v. Wade was overturned. It went back to the states.
00:20:36.800 And in a bunch of states, the voters have signaled that they want more abortion, which is very bad and very unfortunate.
00:20:43.320 Now we have to move into the next phase of the pro-life movement, which is banning abortion at the state level.
00:20:46.740 Okay. Or having a national ruling based on the 14th Amendment that abortion does violate the Constitution because it violates equal protection.
00:20:54.840 That's where the prologue movement is now, and there's a disagreement over exactly how to do it.
00:20:57.620 Okay, but when Mike Rogers comes out and says, as your U.S. senator, I will not do anything to change the state rulings on abortion, that's just true.
00:21:08.780 There's nothing objectionable in that in as much as he really can't do that as a U.S. senator.
00:21:15.240 The Supreme Court has ruled that he can't do that as a U.S. senator.
00:21:17.820 If anyone at the national level is going to change something at the state level about abortion, it's going to be the Supreme Court by ruling on the 14th Amendment.
00:21:23.160 so it's icky it's annoying we don't like it pro-lifers really hate to hear this kind of stuff
00:21:29.500 but if i'm listening to this i would say point by point everything that he just said is totally
00:21:36.040 defensible from a pro-life perspective it's talking like a diplomat rather than a flatterer
00:21:41.580 a flatterer lies to you in order to ingratiate himself a diplomat only focuses on the things
00:21:48.460 that will appeal to you. He doesn't lie. He just only focuses on the things that will sound nice
00:21:53.840 to your ears. That's what Mike Rogers is doing here. I look at the Susan B. Anthony list. Susan
00:21:58.900 B. Anthony list says, Representative Rogers has voted consistently to protect the lives of the
00:22:02.820 unborn and to stop forced taxpayer funding of abortion. This includes delivering the largest
00:22:06.580 pro-life legislative victory in two decades by defunding big abortion businesses like Planned
00:22:10.140 Parenthood of Medicaid dollars for one year through the reconciliation bill, HR1. Representative
00:22:14.500 Rogers also stood strong against attempts to further subsidize plans that cover elective
00:22:19.240 abortion. Representative Rogers co-led a bill that called out the forced abortions happening
00:22:22.780 in China. So everything we know about Rogers' career is that he is hardcore. He is particularly
00:22:28.840 hardcore, A-plus on the pro-life issue. He cuts an ad right at the end of the election season
00:22:34.660 appealing to centrist voters, moderate voters, voters with an incoherent view of politics who
00:22:39.320 have not already decided between him and Abdul El-Sayed. And he does so in a way that would
00:22:44.120 lead that voter into thinking that he won't be as hardcore on the pro-life issue as he has been for
00:22:51.600 his entire career. Is it kind of icky? Is it kind of messy? Yes, it is. That's politics. I don't see
00:22:57.960 anything immoral in what Mike Rogers said. It would be immoral if he changes his stance once
00:23:03.620 he is in the Senate. I don't see any reason to believe that he will. And so, yeah, of course,
00:23:09.320 we don't like that. I think there's an argument to be made that politically this is actually a
00:23:14.020 bad idea because you're going to demoralize the pro-lifers who you need to turn out in big numbers
00:23:18.540 to get yourself over the finish line and to counteract the massive blue turnout in this
00:23:22.920 election. There is a tactical argument there. But just as the pro-life movement for 50 years
00:23:28.320 said, hey folks, the real issue with Roe v. Wade is that it violates the procedures of federalism
00:23:35.860 that say that this issue should be divided at the state level.
00:23:38.580 That's not true.
00:23:39.240 The problem with abortion, the problem with Roe v. Wade,
00:23:42.020 is that babies get murdered.
00:23:43.700 That's the problem.
00:23:44.460 It's the substantive issue that's the problem.
00:23:46.240 And the pro-life movement made a tactical decision
00:23:49.060 to focus on the procedure,
00:23:51.260 to speak diplomatically to voters
00:23:53.900 who don't have a firm view on abortion
00:23:55.700 in order to move the ball down the field
00:23:57.740 and try to get the win here.
00:23:59.880 In other words, the pro-life movement did
00:24:01.280 the same thing that Mike Rogers is doing here.
00:24:04.480 And so-
00:24:05.860 If I trust Mike Rogers' stance on this, I have no problem voting for Mike Rogers as
00:24:10.940 a hardcore 100% pro-life conservative.
00:24:14.060 We might quibble over the tactics of it, just like we quibbled with the pro-life movement
00:24:18.760 over its tactics on proceduralism and federalism with regard to overturning Roe v. Wade.
00:24:24.080 But if you are a pro-life voter in Michigan, I do not see much reason for you to sit this
00:24:29.400 one out or certainly to vote for Abdul El-Sayed.
00:24:31.300 if even if if rogers had come out and said you know and i think it's very important that we
00:24:37.280 protect abortion in certain cases he didn't say that plenty of republicans say that he didn't
00:24:41.020 even say that i'm concerned about the tactics i'm not concerned about the substance here
00:24:45.240 and i would not allow this to change my vote in michigan okay speaking of funding a major major
00:24:51.740 announcement it just broke president trump this morning according to my producers has just
00:24:55.980 announced that the U.S. government is going to withdraw funding for the state of Israel
00:25:02.780 and that he's got Bibi Netanyahu on board for that. Before we get to that breaking news talk
00:25:08.820 about an October surprise, as people are already going to the polls, I want to tell you about GOP
00:25:12.820 votes. President Trump secured the border, passed historic tax cuts, and ended woke ideology.
00:25:18.860 But if the left wins the midterms, they'll undo all of his hard work. They tried impeaching it.
00:25:24.000 the president is impeached. They tried putting him in prison. They tried everything and they'll
00:25:29.800 do it again. Don't let the radical left win. Make a plan. Find your poll and vote on election day.
00:25:43.480 First I'm hearing of it. I'm hearing of it for the first time.
00:25:46.740 Trump apparently called into Fox News and announced the new policy.
00:25:49.940 thing you said earlier when it comes to israel aid is uh we don't understand we've cutting off
00:25:56.240 aid to israel that we were giving them four billion and you're no longer going to be giving
00:26:00.540 them four billion we are but it gets cut off at the end of the year why why because they don't
00:26:07.620 need it brian i mean i asked them because they don't need it and because why should we uh suffer
00:26:14.320 the slings from lunatics like an El Sayyad when they don't need it.
00:26:19.640 It's a bad talking point because you say, why don't we give everybody $4 billion?
00:26:24.340 Israel's our number one.
00:26:25.520 We give them more than anybody else. 0.66
00:26:27.380 And they no longer need it.
00:26:28.560 We've been doing it for years.
00:26:29.740 I've been doing it.
00:26:30.960 But Israel is a very thriving country.
00:26:33.420 They don't need it.
00:26:34.060 If they did need it, I would say keep it going.
00:26:36.940 But Bibi Netanyahu, we reached an agreement on that.
00:26:40.420 And can I be honest with you?
00:26:41.500 He brought it up.
00:26:42.820 He brought it up.
00:26:43.520 he said, I think it would be appropriate if we do not receive aid because he understands that
00:26:49.920 this is one of their points of contention. Israel has been a great ally, much more reliable than
00:26:55.780 most. I mean, look what happened with Europe, although they did give me Greenland for the
00:26:59.880 United States. Okay. Okay. He goes on, but that's the main point. Major breaking headline. Trump
00:27:07.160 announces on election day, the US is cutting off aid to Israel. This is not a major headline. I'm
00:27:13.840 not surprised by this at all. I didn't know it would come on election day, but I'm not surprised
00:27:17.380 by this at all. I'm sure Netanyahu agrees. It was Netanyahu's idea. He's been floating this for a
00:27:24.260 long time too. What is going on here? This is all about tactics. This is not about the strategy
00:27:31.220 of the United States having an alliance with the state of Israel. This is entirely about tactics.
00:27:36.520 The state of Israel is deeply unpopular.
00:27:38.640 It's deeply unpopular for myriad reasons that involve mass migration,
00:27:42.180 that involve the Gaza war, that involve all sorts of things.
00:27:45.920 The state of Israel is deeply unpopular.
00:27:47.860 And pro-Israel people don't want to hear that in the United States,
00:27:49.840 especially on the right, but it's just a fact.
00:27:52.160 The left has been anti-Israel for many years at this point.
00:27:56.280 Mainstream moderate Democrats are anti-Israel now at this point.
00:28:00.040 Young conservatives and Republicans are anti-Israel at this point.
00:28:03.600 Israel is net negative in terms of approval and popularity among conservatives under the age of 50.
00:28:08.780 The only group that still is favorable when it looks on Israel is boomer conservatives,
00:28:15.880 is the Fox News audience actually. And so Israel has a problem. The Republican Party has a problem
00:28:22.500 being now the pro-Israel party and the state of Israel has a problem. So it is no wonder that
00:28:27.960 Bibi Netanyahu comes and he says, yes, I want you to cut off the aid to Israel. In fact, it is much
00:28:32.300 better for Netanyahu and for Israel if the U.S. cuts off the aid. Because $4 billion is nice. I
00:28:36.560 would sure take it if anybody wants to cut me a check. But what is much more important to the
00:28:40.840 state of Israel is having intertwined political and military systems. What is more important to
00:28:48.720 the state of Israel is the state of Israel knowing that the United States will have its back when it
00:28:53.020 faces off against its adversaries. What is much more important to the state of Israel is Israel
00:28:56.980 being part of the American imperial alliance, which is what it is. So this is, look, it's a
00:29:04.080 big headline. I hope it has political effect. Trump and Netanyahu are cooking this up in the
00:29:08.400 back room, and I think it's pretty good politics to say, all right, the $4 billion, which Israel
00:29:11.580 doesn't even need, that's causing a lot of headaches, and it's imperiling the state of
00:29:15.560 Israel, and it's definitely imperiling the Republican Party. Get rid of it. Who cares?
00:29:19.020 It's a minor, minor point. If it sticks in the craw, if it's a good, if it sticks in the craw,
00:29:23.360 the average voter, and it's a good talking point for candidates like Abdul al-Sayed, get rid of
00:29:26.980 it. Who cares? But I am here to tell you, I've actually talked about this before when this was
00:29:32.040 first being proposed months ago. This is not a change in strategy whatsoever. Interesting that
00:29:38.340 it dovetails on the Mike Rogers conversation. I don't think there's any evidence that Mike Rogers
00:29:42.340 has changed his strategy of wanting to defend innocent life. I don't think there's any evidence
00:29:46.360 whatsoever that Trump has changed his strategy or the US government has changed his strategy
00:29:50.220 of having an alliance with the state of Israel.
00:29:52.140 It's all about tactical changes.
00:29:53.800 I hope it does something on election day.
00:29:55.240 If there are razor thin margins in some of these districts
00:29:58.180 and you have an undecided voter going to the polls today
00:30:00.800 and hears, hey, Trump is cutting off Israel
00:30:02.600 and that moves the voters vote. 1.00
00:30:04.360 Great, that's great news for everybody.
00:30:06.620 Okay, speaking of Abdul El-Sayed
00:30:10.060 and life and death issues,
00:30:11.540 an Abdul supporter has just been arrested
00:30:13.740 on a campus in Michigan
00:30:14.880 for threatening to murder conservative journalists. 1.00
00:30:17.960 are you kidding me no i'm not kidding you're sick you're sick 1.00
00:30:27.040 go to a mental hospital i've already been to a mental hospital and i'll go again if it needs 1.00
00:30:33.880 kill you holy slam right there f you i should have killed you when you had the chance the 1.00
00:30:42.220 conservative journalists on campus a year after a leftist did murder a conservative journalist 1.00
00:30:47.440 on campus, Charlie Kirk, the conservative journalists say, what is wrong with you? 0.96
00:30:51.720 You need to go to a mental hospital. 0.89
00:30:53.500 And this young leftist's comeback is, oh yeah, I've already been to a mental hospital. 0.99
00:31:02.120 That's not a good comeback. 0.92
00:31:03.860 That's just not, oh yeah, I already am crazy. 0.99
00:31:08.100 But of course, we knew that already because this young woman has the septum nose piercing.
00:31:13.600 And sometimes I did a very deep, important investigative dive. 0.85
00:31:17.180 It's on the Michael Knowles YouTube channel on the proven scientific data that if a young woman has the septum nose piercing, it is 100% likely that she is totally crazy and you should run. 0.91
00:31:32.220 And there should be a U-shaped hole in the wall trying to get away from her. 0.55
00:31:35.160 Here is what prompted this arrest of this young Abdul supporter on campus.
00:31:39.940 Do you want to ask you what? 1.00
00:31:42.800 No, this is stupid, bro. 1.00
00:31:45.360 The gauges in the ears are not a good sign either. 1.00
00:32:02.400 But sometimes, you know, I don't know, people go through different fashions.
00:32:06.000 It's not my fashion, but that's not. 1.00
00:32:07.180 The key is the bull nose ring straight out of a Baal demon worshiping cult. 1.00
00:32:14.720 That's the one. 1.00
00:32:15.360 I've never seen, 100% of the time, when a girl, she could be a normal girl. 1.00
00:32:20.960 She can be reasonable, could have been reasonable. 1.00
00:32:23.500 The minute she gets the septum piercing, it's over.
00:32:27.360 It's over.
00:32:29.500 These are the people who will be empowered if the Democrats win tonight.
00:32:34.800 These are the people. 1.00
00:32:36.560 F you, I should have killed you when you had the chance. 1.00
00:32:39.120 I celebrate Charlie Kirk's murder. 1.00
00:32:41.580 White people are evil. 1.00
00:32:43.480 We need to trans the kids. 1.00
00:32:45.360 America sucks. I wipe my derriere with the American flag, Hassan Piker. Those are the people 1.00
00:32:50.680 who will be empowered. There will be no guardrails. There will be no procedures that keep those
00:32:56.280 really nasty elements out. Those nasty elements are synonymous with the mainstream Democrat party
00:33:01.260 now. They all agree on all of the issues. They campaign together. The most prominent left-wing
00:33:06.880 thought leader, such as it is, is Hassan Piker the most radical of them. This is it.
00:33:12.940 there's no, we like to think, well, there's some nasty elements, but don't worry. The guardrails
00:33:17.840 will hold. No, no, no. Politics is just people. It's just people. We think in our liberal age
00:33:23.840 that politics is just some exercise and facts and debate that exists in this abstract ethereal
00:33:29.220 realm. It's not. Politics is people. And for most of the history of politics in most of the places,
00:33:34.060 politics is when one side wins, they punish their enemies. And we on the right don't really do that
00:33:39.340 very much. The left does, and they're promising to do it again and again and again. You want to
00:33:45.980 talk about this girl on campus who is threatening to kill conservatives. You remember that girl 0.96
00:33:49.560 who walked up to a TPUSA pick-up-the-mic event just days ago? This one was going viral. The
00:33:55.580 event happened a little earlier. This girl comes up, and she says, do we have the original clip?
00:34:00.900 Yeah, we have the original comments. You remember this girl? I played it on the show a few days ago.
00:34:05.180 If you could announce your name and speak loudly, thank you so much.
00:34:07.920 I go by Pamper Baby.
00:34:10.440 Yeah, okay, so I took a plan B, and I'm an immigrant this morning,
00:34:14.240 like, feeling kind of guilty, so I wanted to read a poem that I actually wrote.
00:34:18.320 It was like, I don't know, felt a little...
00:34:20.320 But do you have a question, though?
00:34:21.700 No, I just wanted to share.
00:34:22.800 It's like, I felt like, you know, freedom of speech.
00:34:25.240 I wanted to share a poem I wrote for everybody.
00:34:27.680 T'was the night before the Kirkiversary, and all through the house.
00:34:31.300 Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
00:34:34.320 The flags were hung proudly, the memes all on deck.
00:34:37.920 as we solemnly remembered a shot to the neck the podcast fell silent the hot takes grew wary
00:34:45.040 for tomorrow dear friends is the great kirkiversary so i'll see everyone at the squirt for kirk we're
00:34:51.460 hosting that also on october 10th i'll see y'all there to byoe you know vaccines included
00:34:57.680 shit's free see y'all there that's all are you are you happy with yourself now i mean i think
00:35:04.420 that was just uh baby i'm thrilled yeah well i mean you're brave for being out here you know 0.97
00:35:10.120 no protection no nothing no like neck brace or i'll pray for you so not just uh celebrating the
00:35:18.060 murder of charlie kirk by all these people who are very possibly going to come back into power
00:35:22.520 but also threatening i'm saying hey by the way you should be worried that we're going to shoot 0.75
00:35:26.440 you through the neck too you should probably have some kevlar on so anyway that girl she opens up 0.97
00:35:30.300 she says hey this morning i murdered my baby and i'm an immigrant i made the point i said okay 0.97
00:35:34.040 If she is an immigrant and she is deportable, she certainly should be deported. 0.96
00:35:37.800 We need to punish our enemies, not as a matter of vengeance, but as a matter of enacting justice and a secondary effect of that will be punishing our enemies who are very dangerous. 1.00
00:35:46.980 She should certainly be expelled from that school. 0.99
00:35:49.660 She should be fired from her job if she happens to have a job. 0.99
00:35:52.920 She should be severely punished.
00:35:55.060 And I don't know, I guess the girl felt the pressure because she came out and released this apology.
00:35:58.600 My name is Issa Casahuga.
00:35:59.940 and after much prayer and reflection, I'd like to come out and sincerely apologize for the comments
00:36:05.080 I made on September 23rd, 2026 at the University of Texas at San Antonio. First, I'd like to
00:36:12.000 directly apologize to Miss Erica Kirk, her children, and the entire Kirk family. My words
00:36:18.400 were deeply insensitive to say the least, particularly considering the unfathomable
00:36:23.420 loss your family has experienced. I'd also like to apologize directly to Mr. Christian Collins.
00:36:29.940 Mr. Collins, what I said at your pick-up-the-mic rally was beyond inappropriate and hurtful, and for that, I am so sorry.
00:36:39.220 Lastly, I would also like to apologize to everyone that I may have heard with my comments that day.
00:36:45.180 There's nothing acceptable or funny about political violence, and much less the loss of a person's life.
00:36:51.640 regardless of our political beliefs or opinions we should all strive to treat one another with
00:36:58.520 the utmost respect compassion and above all dignity i understand why my words cause so
00:37:05.520 much pain and i take full accountability for them my faith teaches me the importance of humility
00:37:11.320 compassion and above all forgiveness and i recognize the fact that my words do not reflect
00:37:16.760 those values on September 23rd. I want to do better going forward, not just as a Christian,
00:37:23.360 as a person, but as an American. I know that an apology can't undo what I said, and I don't expect
00:37:29.980 everyone to forgive me after this, but I sincerely hope that through my actions, I can learn from
00:37:35.500 this experience and eventually earn a second chance in life. Thank you. Okay, this is pretty
00:37:40.960 weird, isn't it? Because you have this major shift. This girl wasn't just saying, ha ha,
00:37:46.180 charlie kirk was murdered haha she wrote this whole poem about how happy she was she was 0.77
00:37:50.220 threatening another person there she was talking about how she murders babies and she she seemed
00:37:56.280 to have pretty firm views and then five seconds later she says no this doesn't reflect my real
00:38:00.320 views i yeah i just i i don't know i wrote that poem in a fit of confusion yeah i showed up to
00:38:06.840 this event and i but i don't it was all a big misunderstanding it was all a mistake you know
00:38:11.140 just the heat of the moment. What? That's very strange. So you say, okay, why is she,
00:38:16.940 is she being threatened with some punishment? Did her parents threaten to cut her off if she
00:38:20.080 didn't apologize? Did her school threaten to expel her if she didn't apologize? I don't know
00:38:23.960 what it is. Did some lawyer write that up? I don't know. Did she write that? Did ChatGPT write that?
00:38:28.300 I don't know. But regardless, there's a debate now online of how to react to this. Some say,
00:38:36.580 well, we should accept her apology. We should forgive. Others saying, no, there need to be
00:38:40.380 consequences? And the real answer is both of those things. We should always forgive people
00:38:45.220 personally. We should not harbor hatred for them. We should not exercise wrath in our minds and
00:38:52.780 long for revenge or whatever. We should personally forgive everyone. I mean, Christ forgave his
00:38:57.000 executioners on the cross. But contrition, whether she's sincere or being insincere or she's just
00:39:03.900 afraid, she has imperfect contrition, she fears consequences, whatever. We all do that to some
00:39:07.260 degree. Whatever it is, true contrition requires penance. So it seems to me the right attitude
00:39:14.160 toward this girl is, okay, I forgive you. We can pray for you, like the speaker said. We can,
00:39:19.060 yeah, that's true. I bear no hatred toward you whatsoever. Also, you should be expelled from
00:39:23.640 your school, fired from your job, and deported. Those things have to happen because there has
00:39:28.060 to be some kind of consequence, even just to help you truly repent, even just to help you
00:39:33.640 truly move away from your horrifically wicked ways for your own good. I mean, even beyond the
00:39:39.540 Christian context, Plato writes about this in the Gorgias. It is actually cruel not to punish people
00:39:45.840 when they do bad things. It's cruel to the person because they will continue to degrade in their
00:39:52.380 lives. It has to be some kind of consequence. And so that would be my recommendation is you look at
00:39:57.420 a girl like this, you look at all of these leftists who might be empowered hours from now,
00:40:00.700 And you say, look, Lord, forgive them.
00:40:02.580 They know not what they do.
00:40:04.040 I personally forgive you.
00:40:05.040 We forgive those who trespass against us
00:40:06.560 as we ask forgiveness from God.
00:40:08.540 Also, you should be expelled, fired, and deported
00:40:10.640 for the good of society and also for your own good.
00:40:14.200 Okay, to help us understand how likely it is
00:40:16.020 that these people will all be empowered momentarily,
00:40:18.040 we will have our friend Cabot Phillips coming on.
00:40:20.860 First, though, my favorite comment yesterday
00:40:22.540 is from David DJ Parker, who says,
00:40:24.940 Michael, your linguistic pedantry license
00:40:26.860 is suspended for at least a week.
00:40:28.500 you just said a jet crash left a massive crater a crater cannot be massive in its essence a crater
00:40:33.460 is a lack of mass you may reapply for your license and we'll get back to you in three to five business
00:40:37.740 days you're right i have no i try to be very precise in my language i hate words like impactful
00:40:43.620 it would be a related word um but you're right that's you caught me the the pedant becomes the
00:40:49.780 student you're right i was totally i was i blew it on my language and i wrote a whole book about
00:40:56.040 language. Maybe I'll have to go back to blank books now, because you're right. You're right
00:40:59.900 about my weak pedantry. You're right. Okay. There's so many. Gosh, there's a story I really
00:41:06.420 wanted to get to at the top of the show, which is that 68% of people who dye their hair unnatural
00:41:11.160 colors report mental problems. That's a related story to the nose ring in the middle in the
00:41:16.260 septum, you know, that I really want to get to that. That story interests me much more than what
00:41:21.720 is going to happen in the midterm elections tonight. We'll have to wait till tomorrow,
00:41:24.640 though, because we have to get to the numbers and the dread. Cabot, how bad is it looking?
00:41:33.100 Michael, it's going to be a very impactful night, and the impactfulness of this night is going to
00:41:37.540 be tough. All right, folks, that's the Michael Noles show. We'll see you tomorrow. Sorry, sorry,
00:41:39.220 sorry. Tough to overstate. Look, Michael, I'm not here to be a doomer like you, okay? I am a happy
00:41:46.580 warrior. I am an optimist. Yeah. I am so famously pessimistic. Yeah. I don't know if you've heard,
00:41:53.820 But I've taken the mantle as the Daily Wire host who is the most upbeat and positive,
00:41:57.340 especially when you start speaking.
00:41:58.560 These days, I think so.
00:42:00.020 No, we just keep telling people, look, voters vote, polls don't vote.
00:42:05.380 And we just spoke actually with former Speaker Newt Gingrich on the show.
00:42:08.820 That's going to air tonight on the Daily Wire's live election coverage that starts at 6 p.m.
00:42:13.160 Eastern.
00:42:13.960 And he was surprisingly frank about his lack of faith in Republicans tonight and some of
00:42:22.700 the things that he's upset about. But no, we're going to have to wait and see. And that's why we
00:42:27.020 have the Daily Wire election coverage, which is what I'm here to talk about, Michael. Starting
00:42:30.560 at 6 p.m. Eastern, everyone tune in to the Daily Wire. I'll be on this set from 6 to 8 Eastern.
00:42:36.740 Michael, you're going to be popping in. We'll have Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Andrew Klavan,
00:42:42.380 all of the big guys. And then at 8 p.m. Eastern, we're going to go over to the main set where the
00:42:46.220 five of us will be at the desk. We've got the 20-foot tall HD LED screen where we're going to
00:42:51.280 be tracking the results as they come in. And there will be alcohol there, either celebratory
00:42:57.180 alcohol or otherwise. We will have to wait and see. But no, Michael, I think tonight the main
00:43:02.080 thing that I'm going to be watching early on are how Republicans are faring in red states,
00:43:07.400 what we are seeing in Indiana and Kentucky, two states where the polls close pretty early.
00:43:11.960 That should give us a good feel early on, some of those House races in Kentucky and Indiana,
00:43:16.080 where the night is going. Florida, thankfully, reports their votes very, very quickly. They
00:43:20.060 dump all of their early voting and absentee voting right at the start of things. So we
00:43:25.020 shouldn't have to wait super long to know what kind of night it's going to be, which
00:43:27.860 is a good thing, I think.
00:43:29.000 Are you doing predictions this year, Cabot?
00:43:31.660 I did do predictions, yes, on the Daily Wire election hub, which again, everyone go put
00:43:36.060 your money where your mouth is on the election hub and fill out your bracket. I did do some
00:43:40.360 predictions. I'm more of a, look, it's a tough environment. You can believe the polls if
00:43:46.260 you want to. I have, I think, good reason not to believe all the polls.
00:43:49.640 I do think that the Democrats are going to perform very well in the traditional swing
00:43:53.460 state ballots.
00:43:54.960 But I keep looking at states like Iowa, like Kansas, like South Carolina, and in order
00:44:01.040 for Democrats to win those races and to perform the way that the polls are showing they're
00:44:04.960 going to perform, they're going to have to convert a lot of registered Republicans.
00:44:10.060 And if you look at the polling in a state like Kansas that shows Democrats leading right
00:44:14.260 now over Roger Marshall, that poll from the New York Times that is getting everyone talking
00:44:18.860 where Adam Hamilton had a significant lead. That poll had 17 or 20% of Republicans crossing over
00:44:25.980 to vote for the Democrat Adam Hamilton. I don't see that happening. And if I'm making predictions
00:44:31.220 right now, my prediction is that these red states, Iowa, South Carolina, Kansas, are going to remain
00:44:38.000 Republican. I'm going to take a walk to the rickety stool store. If the really chipper,
00:44:45.200 cabot positive looking prediction is that republicans might do well in iowa kansas and
00:44:54.380 south carolina cannot where's the you said there's booze on the set there will be there's booze where
00:45:00.240 can we get the booze for breakfast right now that i don't want to be talking about iowa kansas and
00:45:05.320 south carolina i want to i want to be talking about how we're going to win michigan how i don't
00:45:09.000 even want to talk about texas but we certainly want to i want to know that we're winning texas
00:45:13.200 I want to talk about how we're winning Maine. I want to talk about how we're winning everything
00:45:17.140 in Ohio. I want to. Michael, I think we do win those three states. And I think I do. And I think
00:45:24.400 Republicans, maybe not Texas. I'm feeling better. Maybe not Texas. But I do think that Republicans
00:45:29.400 win Maine. And I think Republicans win Alaska. And that gives you 50 right there. And our buddy
00:45:34.400 J.D. Vance gets to spend a lot more time in the Senate if that is the case. I do think that there
00:45:38.980 is a very real scenario that Republicans hold the Senate. And maybe I'm completely out of
00:45:43.400 bounds here, but if you look at the polling, again, people have this good reason to distrust
00:45:47.980 the polls. They're not always off. But right now, the polls, if you actually look into the
00:45:52.200 methodology, these pollsters, they're reaching out. Only something around 30% of Republican
00:45:57.220 households are actually answering the phone for them. And so they then, their first batch of
00:46:01.840 polling, they just take whoever answers first. Democrats have a huge lead in all those polls.
00:46:06.600 So then the pollsters say, okay, we've got to create our own universe, our methodology.
00:46:11.120 We're going to weigh it on our own.
00:46:13.180 We're going to decide what these models look like.
00:46:15.780 So we're going to add a certain number of Republicans.
00:46:17.920 So it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy where they are trying to fill out, okay, they're
00:46:21.440 guessing essentially how many Republicans who didn't answer the phone are actually going
00:46:26.020 to turn out and vote.
00:46:26.900 And I think there's very good reason to believe that those pollsters, the universe that they
00:46:31.520 have created is not accurate or at least is overstated.
00:46:35.500 And so, again, don't just look at the poll and say, wow, that's where things are right now.
00:46:39.700 Look at the poll and then dig into their methodology.
00:46:42.060 And if you look into the methodology, a lot of these states, they are assuming enormous crossover.
00:46:46.860 They are assuming 20-point swings in white college voters without a college degree,
00:46:51.920 or white voters without a college degree from 2024 to today.
00:46:54.940 Yes, I do think there will be a swing.
00:46:56.680 I don't think it's going to be 20 points.
00:46:58.020 We haven't seen a swing like that since Watergate.
00:47:00.220 And I just, I don't think it's going to be as bad as the polls are saying.
00:47:03.140 I have a framed check at my home office, which is a trophy that I got for ignoring the pollsters.
00:47:12.940 I got it from our friend, Mr. Ben Shapiro.
00:47:16.100 I got, wait, what is he doing?
00:47:17.120 Get out of here.
00:47:17.580 What, no, what are you?
00:47:18.500 Okay.
00:47:18.900 All right.
00:47:19.800 Okay.
00:47:20.160 Thank you.
00:47:20.600 Thank you.
00:47:21.220 There we go.
00:47:22.020 So I'll just, I'm just going to pour myself a little breakfast while I tell this story.
00:47:25.000 I have a framed check.
00:47:26.820 i have a framed check in my office which is a trophy because i had a nice 400 bet it was
00:47:35.240 actually 100 bet ben gave me four to one odds in i didn't know if you put water in this no this
00:47:41.160 is gin okay well anyway cheers uh this was in 2016 because ben said all the polls all the this
00:47:49.120 and i ignored all of them and i have a framed check and he wrote in the memo line he said for
00:47:53.840 ignoring data because I bet that Trump was going to win and Hillary was going to lose. Now,
00:47:59.680 Trump campaigned very, very hard. It's very impressive. But Trump is not on the ballot
00:48:04.020 in these races. And I, well, I want to be pleasantly surprised tonight. Hope springs
00:48:11.700 eternal in the human breast. I hope that we will be blessed by the polls. Chin, chin, Cabot. See
00:48:20.280 you later see you later 6 p.m eastern time that's when it all starts tune in everybody today is
