00:05:23.380 Hill TV poll of who Democrats want for their 2020 nominee. The number three winner there was Bernie

00:05:29.920 Sanders, old white guy. The number two winner was Joe Biden, also old white guy. The number one winner,

00:05:36.060 none of the above, who, I guess, statistically is a white guy. If you just look at the numbers of

00:05:43.480 people in the United States, none of the above, you know, basically anyone else, you've got a very

00:05:48.520 good chance of that also being a white guy. So all three polls, privilege the white guys. This,

00:05:54.680 again, completely goes over. And in that Hill TV poll, the number fourth choice was Hillary Clinton,

00:06:01.900 incredibly. Number five was Elizabeth Warren. Then you got Kamala Harris. Then you got Cory Booker. 1.00

00:07:31.800 They're trying to make a wall, four-letter word, when the president's been talking about border

00:07:35.820 security all along, as have the Democrats until he became president. In 2006, they voted for the

00:07:41.800 Secure Offenses Act. That included Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden. 26 Democrats voted

00:07:47.040 for that. This past July, 10 of the 15 Democrats on the appropriate committee, the relevant committee,

00:07:53.440 voted for border security.

00:07:54.660 Okay. Oh, this isn't about a wall. This isn't about, okay. And actually, later on in this interview,

00:08:02.640 Steve Doocy comes in and actually grills her a little bit. What's going to happen to this shutdown?

00:08:08.440 Why isn't the government going to shut down? The real reason we know that the government is not going

00:08:12.600 to shut down is that the Senate has voted on a, or is voting on a funding bill to fund the government

00:08:18.860 through February 8th. So it's a short-term funding bill. It's not a major one.

00:08:22.400 But what happens before February 8th, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats take control

00:08:26.880 of the House of Representatives. This raises a big question. Why did Trump back down? He told us,

00:08:32.940 I'm going to be proud to own the government shutdown. I will shut down the government in

00:08:37.120 order to build the wall and get $5 billion to build the wall on our border. Stephen Miller went on Face

00:08:42.040 the Nation, said exactly the same thing. One suggestion for why he did that is that he didn't

00:08:47.260 have the votes. Nancy Pelosi made this claim in the Oval Office. 1.00

00:08:50.740 The fact is, you do not have the votes in the House.

00:08:53.520 Nancy, I do. And we need border security. Nancy, Nancy, we need border security. It's very simple.

00:09:05.380 Democrats to switch over. But the question was, does he have the votes in the House or not?

00:09:15.900 fair to say. I don't think Paul Ryan wants the wall. I think if he did, he could have whipped up

00:09:19.320 the votes. But he doesn't. There are a lot of Republicans in the House who don't really want

00:09:23.660 the wall. They talk a good game when they're on the campaign trail, but they don't actually

00:09:27.840 believe in enforcing our immigration laws when they are governing. So my suggestion in all of this 0.77

00:09:40.420 we're going to blame for shutting down the government. Let it happen because this is a

00:09:44.560 political winner for Republicans. One, it's the right thing to do just for the country and for our

00:09:55.020 president. Why not let the Democrats, who are now so hysterical, so obsessively committed to open

00:10:02.100 borders? Why not let them shut down the government over that? They say keeping borders open, letting 1.00

00:10:07.680 thousands of illegal migrants cross the border, make a mockery of our laws, let them come in 1.00

00:10:14.280 willy-nilly, 3,000 people a day. They're so intent on that, that they're willing to shut down the

00:10:30.100 Americans are considering all of the various political problems, they think the number one

00:10:34.180 problem is the government and the number two problem is illegal immigration. Here's an idea.

00:11:07.180 the near future. But they won't do it. And this is frustrating enough. Now I see the flip side of

00:11:18.480 don't have leverage to reopen it. And the president doesn't have leverage to reopen the government.

00:11:28.460 then there's really no point in carrying on. So you could reopen and say, okay, we've dragged this

00:14:36.920 the conservatives against this in the Senate, but it failed. He tried to introduce some amendments

00:14:42.380 to kill the bill and it just didn't happen. Who is supporting this thing? Kim Kardashian is,

00:14:47.860 so great. The ACLU is supporting this. Van Jones, left winger on CNN, was celebrating. He was so happy

00:14:54.980 when this bill passed. Politics sure does make for strange bedfellows. Why on earth are we voting for

00:15:02.200 this when we could have built the wall? What does this, what does this bill do? Whenever you come

00:15:06.920 out against this First Step Act, the Criminal Justice Reform Spring the Criminals from Prison Act,

00:15:13.140 they, people accuse you, they say, you don't know what's in the bill. Well, I don't know. I'm not an

00:15:17.500 expert on the bill, but, but tell me if I'm wrong. Tell me if I get any of these bullet points wrong,

00:15:22.200 and then you can lecture me about not knowing what's in the bill. The bill will ease mandatory minimum

00:15:27.340 sentences under federal law. Right now, they're mandatory minimums that judges have to, have to

00:15:33.160 use when they're sentencing people, and this would ease those sentences. It would expand the so-called

00:15:37.660 safety valve so that judges can avoid them. So it puts a lot more discretion into the hands of judges,

00:15:43.840 which might be helpful to some criminals, but then again, when you just rely on the

00:15:50.620 capricious moods of judges, then you're, you're not really treating people with total equality

00:15:57.780 under the law. You're giving a lot of care to the whim and whimsy of judges. It would ease the three

00:16:04.400 strikes rule. So right now, there's a three strikes rule. If you get three or more convictions,

00:16:08.500 you will automatically get a sentence in certain cases of life in prison. Now that reduces that

00:16:13.600 dramatically to 25 years, and then the rest of the law can ease that to make it even shorter.

00:16:17.940 It also restricts the current practice of stacking gun charges. So right now, for instance, this is

00:16:24.820 what you always hear. You say, someone shouldn't serve life in prison for just possessing a little

00:16:29.800 dime bag of pot for personal use. Yeah, of course, I agree with that. Nobody disagrees with that in the

00:16:35.620 whole country. But the people who are in prison for simple possession, how many of them pled down

00:16:42.040 those charges for much more serious charges, from charges like dealing drugs?

00:16:47.940 You know, right, right now, we're at the height of an opioid epidemic of a drug epidemic that is so

00:16:53.920 bad, it's actually helping to reduce the average life expectancy in the United States. And we're

00:17:00.280 saying that we should go easier on drug dealers, many drug dealers who have pled down their crime to

00:17:05.520 a simple possession or something like that. And what the First Step Act will do is now not allow

00:17:10.580 prosecutors to stack gun charges. So if you're a drug dealer out on the streets, and you're packing heat,

00:17:16.460 prosecutors can stack that on top of your drug charge. Now they'll say, no, that's okay.

00:17:24.360 That's okay. The drug dealer was packing heat because, you know, it's a black market that's

00:17:27.880 awful and it gets Americans addicted to poison. But we shouldn't punish him for packing heat.

00:17:32.520 Ridiculous. It also increases good time credits that inmates can earn. Currently, inmates can get up to

00:17:38.880 47 days, credits of up to 47 days per year incarcerated. Now that increases to 54, which

00:17:46.420 allows relatively well-behaved inmates to cut their prison sentences by an additional week for each

00:17:51.960 year that they're incarcerated. But this is also retroactive, which means that the day this law goes

00:17:57.200 into effect, according to supporters of the bill, not critics, according to supporters of the bill,

00:18:02.000 4,000 prisoners will qualify for release that very day that it goes into effect. The bill will allow 0.82

00:18:09.460 earned time credits by participating in more vocational and rehabilitative programs. And what

00:18:14.500 do we mean by this rehabilitative program? This is really what the whole bill's about. Because they're

00:18:19.140 treating the criminal justice system as though it's only about rehabilitation. It's not about punishing

00:18:24.680 people. It's not about criminal justice. It's not about even deterring crime. Certainly not about those

00:18:30.280 two things. It's just about rehabilitation. It's a therapy session. I don't even know why we're only

00:18:35.960 restricting it to criminals. Why not? We could all use a little rehabilitation, couldn't we? So now you'll

00:18:41.180 get extra credits if you take part in rehabilitation programs. We also just found today, this broke,

00:18:47.580 that the federal government has paid $365,000 in recent years to the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan's

00:18:56.900 radical organization. The organization, obviously bigoted, refers to Jews as termites, to go into

00:19:03.900 prison and rehabilitate prisoners, which actually means radicalize prisoners into that perverse

00:19:09.720 ideology of the Nation of Islam. That's what we're talking about here when we talk about rehabilitation

00:19:13.580 programs. This is obviously a fundamental misunderstanding of the criminal justice system.

00:19:19.620 And I don't know which wing of the White House or which wing of the Republican Party is pushing

00:19:26.100 this sort of stuff. It seems so compassionate, doesn't it? I want people to get out of prison if

00:19:32.880 they've served their time, if they've been reformed. I really do. I'm not just a total hardliner. I know

00:19:37.540 people who were bad people, who killed people, who were real bad hombres, and they were totally 0.56

00:19:45.260 reformed in prison. One guy, I won't say his name, from New York, he is a born-again Christian. He's

00:19:53.080 one of the most charitable people. He's like a saint walking the earth, goes to mass every day. He's

00:19:57.980 just an incredible man. You can be reformed in prison. I hope that happens. That's a wonderful

00:20:02.660 thing to do. That's not an excuse to spring thousands of people out of prison long before their sentences 0.52

00:20:09.560 are over with the dubious evidence that they've been reformed in some way, that they're not going

00:20:15.780 to go. And now to make it easier for people who are dealing poison out on the streets carrying guns

00:20:21.260 while they do it to avoid long jail sentences, that's not the way to do it. It's a total

00:20:27.140 misunderstanding of the criminal justice system. Another aspect here, this is like really opposite

00:20:32.280 day. President Trump's administration is now banning bump stocks. The bump stocks are, they're on,

00:20:38.000 you put the bump stock on your rifle and then you basically hold the trigger and you can pull the,

00:20:42.920 if you run your hand, this is getting a little graphic for a family show, but if you run your

00:20:47.840 hand down the length of the gun, it will simulate what would seem like an automatic weapon so you can

00:20:54.260 fire more rapidly. You can't really aim at anything so it's not a terribly useful tool, but he's now,

00:21:00.000 the administration has banned these. This is because of that shooting in Las Vegas in 2017

00:21:04.360 that killed 58 people and injured hundreds more. Bump stock was used in that shooting. Bump stocks

00:21:10.680 are virtually never used in shootings, but it was used in that one, so now they want to ban it.

00:21:15.720 Banning bump stocks would not have saved a single life in that shooting. There's no evidence of that.

00:21:20.680 That shooting went on for 10 minutes. Just pulling the trigger, 1-1-1-1-1, you could easily kill and

00:21:29.060 injure all of those people in the course of 10 minutes. The shooter wasn't found for an hour.

00:21:34.280 His body killed himself and then his body wasn't found for an hour. A bump stock ban would not have

00:21:40.120 saved a single life in Las Vegas. Just as always happens when there's a mass shooting, the left wing

00:21:45.420 calls for gun control and then you say, which gun control law would have prevented the shooting?

00:21:50.240 Which gun control law would have saved a life? And they say, I don't know, I just want to do something.

00:21:54.420 Well, you've got to do something that's helpful. You can't just do something and then pat yourself on

00:22:01.600 the back and say, oh gosh, aren't I a good person? You haven't accomplished a single thing.

00:22:05.880 Even more shocking than my frustration with the Trump administration in the last week

00:22:11.400 is I actually think Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks got something right. I know, I know this is shocking.

00:22:19.780 This comes in the wake of Tucker Carlson's comment. Tucker Carlson's under fire,

00:22:23.260 the left wing radical groups are calling for a boycott of his Fox News show. And it's because

00:22:28.260 of this comment. We have a moral obligation to admit the world's poor, they tell us,

00:22:32.720 even if it makes our own country poorer and dirtier and more divided. Immigration is a form 1.00

00:22:38.580 of atonement. Previous leaders of our country committed sins. We must pay for those sins by

00:22:44.600 welcoming an endless chain of migrant caravans. So he's right about that point. He's right about the 1.00

00:22:49.920 white guilt and the ideology of open borders. But did you catch what word got him in trouble?

00:22:55.480 It's, yeah, it was the dirty. Said it would make our country dirtier. And just as a very simple

00:23:03.320 observation, poor countries are dirtier than clean countries, than rich countries. That's certainly

00:23:11.420 the case. I have traveled to the third world. I have lived in the first world. I've probably gone

00:23:17.080 to the second world. I don't know exactly where the second world is. I've been all over. And of course

00:23:21.160 it is. Of course, poorer countries are dirtier. They don't have the same resources for sanitary systems 0.99

00:23:28.060 and things like that. So he makes that point. Should he have used a different word? Maybe.

00:29:37.400 Dan Crenshaw was a war hero who lost his eye defending our freedom, yours and my freedom,

00:29:43.600 defending our country. And so they kind of made up. Dan Crenshaw was very gracious about the whole

00:29:47.860 thing and he even went on SNL and for a fleeting moment made SNL funny again. And anyway, this week,

00:29:55.080 Pete Davidson, the SNL kid, sent out what was essentially a suicide note on Instagram and said

00:30:02.020 he doesn't want to live in this world anymore. He's trying to stick around, but he doesn't know

00:30:05.840 how long he can last. He's talked about depression before and his battles with mental health. There is

00:30:12.060 a suicide epidemic in this country. I've seen it up close. It's really, really nasty. It's

00:30:18.520 disproportionately affecting millennials. Teen suicide is up 70%. So this really is no laughing matter. This

00:30:24.560 is a real serious thing. And so everyone went to his side. Pete Davidson deleted all of his social

00:30:30.500 media accounts and Dan Crenshaw actually gave him a call and it was a standup thing to do and the

00:30:36.120 right thing to do. And here he is talking about it. Actually, I talked to him personally yesterday

00:30:41.260 and then talked to him for a little bit about it. And you know, we don't go back very far. We're not

00:30:45.560 good friends, but I think he appreciated hearing from me. And what I told him was this. Everybody has

00:30:51.880 a purpose in this world. God put you here for a reason. But it's your job to find that purpose.

00:34:36.480 terrible thing. You couldn't ever forgive yourself for something like that. So it's important to

00:34:41.140 remember there are people there and it's not just people in the way that we think about people in a

00:34:45.620 very modern way. We're talking about souls and you're going to have to see them someday and you

00:34:49.960 better not want to run away from them in heaven because that's going to be very awkward. Heaven is full of

00:34:54.260 light and you can't hide. There aren't many places that you can hide in up there. Some other good

00:34:59.800 news, transgenderism is ripping down this leftist fantasy of abortion. Now this actually speaks to 0.79

00:35:07.240 the soul as well. This is a story that comes right from the left, which once denied the soul, is now

00:35:12.360 admitting that the soul exists. You saw over the weekend, there was that guy competing for the Miss

00:35:18.720 Universe pageant. So this guy, Miss Spain, is a dude who now either has had surgery or dresses like

00:35:26.560 a woman or has had surgery and dresses like a woman. And he didn't win, but he did very well in the

00:35:33.660 Miss Universe pageant. Here is what he has to say about the question of whether or not he is a woman.

00:35:39.800 I'll translate because I assume most of you don't speak Spanish.

00:35:43.160 He says, having a vagina does not make me a woman. I am a woman and already was before my birth

00:35:51.760 because my identity is here in my mind, not down there. I love this story. I love the fact of

00:36:02.960 transgenderism. I mean, it's not good for the people who suffer from the condition, but the ideology is

00:36:08.740 very good for exposing the bizarre contradictions within the left. Because what they've just admitted,

00:36:18.480 what Miss Spain just admitted by the process of transgenderism is not just that he was a woman

00:36:25.760 before he was born, but that he was before he was born, that he was anything before he was born.

00:36:32.220 What the pro-abortion left wants us to believe is that you don't exist until the very moment that

00:36:39.660 you are born. Two minutes before you're born, oh, you're just a clump of cells. You're just a random

00:36:44.800 mishmash. You don't even look like a human. Oh, don't look at that sonogram. Oh, don't know. Don't 0.98

00:36:50.040 feel the baby kick. No, no. It's just a mishmash of cells. Only once you're born do you become a

00:36:55.380 human. And what Miss Spain just said is, I was a woman before I was born. And so it's acknowledging

00:37:03.080 the humanity of the unborn baby, what we call the fetus, which really just means offspring or the

00:37:09.880 embryo or whatever they want to talk about. It's acknowledging that that is a human life.

00:37:15.060 But what Miss Spain is talking about is even further, which is at the heart of the transgender

00:37:19.720 ideology itself. It's at the heart both of the condition and the ideology, which is that

00:37:24.700 humans are not just physical objects. We have a soul. So I might be a man. You can check under

00:37:31.480 the hood down there, you know, and everything checks out. I've got whiskers. I have a deep voice

00:37:36.640 and a big Adam's apple. I am a man. I've got a Y chromosome. But in a non-physical, in a metaphysical

00:37:44.620 sense, in a deeper reality, I am really a woman. And this is the universal claim of transgenderism.

00:37:53.660 But in order for that to be true, there has to be a metaphysical reality. There has to be a soul.

00:38:00.060 You have to be something more than just your physical body. This is a very difficult thing

00:38:06.620 for the left, for leftist materialists, for leftist atheists who say there is nothing beyond the body.

00:38:13.180 There is nothing beyond the physical world. Well, if that's true, then transgenderism is even more 1.00

00:38:17.680 ridiculous than it is in a world with a soul. If that's true, then what are they claiming? Then

00:38:22.820 they're truly just babbling nonsense. Now, it's also nonsense in the world where there's a metaphysical

00:38:35.560 And the reason this issue is so good, I mean, the reason why for the conservative side, I'm glad that

00:38:42.580 transgenderism, which actually only affects 0.2% of the population, if that, I mean, a very vanishingly

00:38:51.600 small percentage of the population. The reason that this has dominated the national conversation

00:38:56.940 is because the left has to work out all of these issues and challenges that it poses for its ideology

00:39:03.540 because it poses a ton of them. It just smashes down the notion that men and women are exactly the

00:39:10.400 same or the notion that feminism makes. Either men and women are exactly the same or they're not

00:39:17.620 exactly the same. Either sexual differences are natural or they don't exist. They're just sort of

00:39:23.480 socially constructed. Well, if they're socially constructed, what is a woman? What is feminism? 1.00

00:39:28.160 If gender doesn't really matter at all, then why would someone surgically mutilate himself, 0.59

00:39:34.320 go to such great lengths to try to more closely resemble a woman? If a metaphysical reality does 0.67

00:39:40.060 not exist, then how can someone be a man but not a man, really? What does really even mean in that

00:39:45.920 scenario? It raises a lot of really good questions. I think, you know, we're shocked by the ridiculousness

00:39:52.640 of it. But rather than exclusively making fun of the ridiculousness of it, we should do that,

00:39:58.260 you know, 92% of the time. But for the rest of the time, follow that train of thought. Think about

00:40:03.700 why this issue has cropped up in the imagination of Democrats and left-wingers. It's because they're

00:40:09.040 extraordinarily confused in their thinking. And this is a good opportunity to bring some clarity

00:40:14.160 to it. I mean, nowhere is this more visible than at Mount Holyoke College. Mount Holyoke College

00:40:20.640 is traditionally a girls-only school. The current logo of Mount Holyoke College, MHC, has the H and the

00:40:30.260 C combined to form the Venus symbol. That's the female gender symbol, you know. And now this is very 0.84

00:40:38.220 offensive. You're not allowed to do this anymore. Why? Because in 2015, the college decided it would no

00:40:43.760 longer be a women's-only college. It would also admit trans women, which is to say men. So the

00:40:49.880 college now is, it's a women's-only college still, but the way they describe it is it's a gender-diverse

00:40:56.780 women's college. It's a not-only-women-women's college. It's a women's-not-women's college. Okay. 0.91

00:41:05.240 It's a contradiction of a college. The president of Mount Holyoke College, Lynn Pasquarela, said,

00:41:11.220 quote, we recognize that what it means to be a woman is not static. Just as early feminists argued 1.00

00:41:17.520 that reducing women to their biological functions was a foundation of women's oppression, we acknowledge 0.99

00:41:22.800 that gender identity is not reducible to the body. Right. I'm sure those early feminists are so happy 1.00

00:41:30.640 now. They're just dancing in their graves or dancing up in heaven that now that their women's-only 0.99

00:41:36.620 college is no longer allowed only to admit women. What a huge striving for feminism. What a great 1.00

00:41:43.660 leap forward. So not only do they say this nonsense, but after the protests of this symbol,

00:41:50.260 a Mount Holyoke spokesman responded and said, it is now evident to us that this symbol,

00:41:56.980 the Venus symbol, the female gender symbol, has a long history of exclusion connected to movements

00:42:03.540 that while trailblazing for some groups represents the erasure of others. We have thus determined that

00:42:09.780 the college cannot move forward with a word mark that references this symbol. And it is true. The 0.95

00:42:17.180 Venus female gender symbol does exclude some people, namely men. The women's symbol excludes men

00:42:26.600 because the very definition of women until five seconds ago was and is not men. That's true. It's

00:42:34.620 exclusive. It's not tolerant in the silly way that we talk about tolerance now. But words are

00:42:43.780 exclusive. Discreet things are exclusive. This is a pen. This is not a watermelon. That's so exclusive.

00:42:52.080 Isn't that so exclusive? I want it to be all things to all people. I want to be all things to

00:42:56.540 all people. That's the typical cowardice of our age. We demand to be all things to our people. And

00:43:01.340 when you try to be all things to all people, you are nothing to anybody. When you try to be a friend

00:43:07.780 to all, in reality, you are a friend to none. You have to stand for something or you will fall for

00:43:13.360 anything. How many more simple platitudes can I possibly utter? And there must be like 20 more of

00:43:18.180 those. This is the mistake that Mount Holyoke College is admitting, the competency of Mount

00:43:22.440 Holyoke College. The point, the raison d'etre of Mount Holyoke College is to be a women's college.

00:43:28.740 If it ceases to be a women's college, it doesn't become twice as great. It becomes nothing. 0.82

00:43:34.280 If the Venus symbol, if womanhood is not allowed to be womanhood, the thing that the Venus symbol is 0.68
