The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 285 - Walls Work

00:00:00.040 President Trump has a new governing theme, build a wall and crime will fall.

00:00:05.340 If the glove doesn't fit, I don't know, there are a lot of things that rhyme.

00:00:08.800 Do walls work or are they merely a symbol of security?

00:00:12.040 We will analyze.

00:00:13.020 Then Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar doubles down on smearing the Covington boys.

00:00:18.020 Nick Sandman goes on the Today Show and the culture of death kills from America to Holland.

00:00:23.360 I'm Michael Knowles and this is the Michael Knowles Show.

00:00:30.000 This is the greatest evidence yet that Donald Trump is listening to Alan Dershowitz,

00:00:36.800 that his new governing theme is build a wall and crime will fall.

00:00:41.440 Alan Dershowitz famously on the Dream Team defending O.J. Simpson.

00:00:45.140 If the glove does not fit, you must acquit and build that wall, which will be good for all.

00:00:51.820 And the president is really tall, I don't know.

00:00:55.280 Rhymes actually do work because they stick in people's minds.

00:00:57.660 And President Trump is absolutely right about this theme.

00:01:00.540 Build a wall, crime will fall.

00:01:01.960 We'll go through all of the evidence.

00:01:03.340 But first, let's make a little money with a new sponsor, Untuck It.

00:01:08.420 Oh, how I love Untuck It.

00:01:10.620 Here is a tip. 0.70

00:01:11.800 Listen, you know, Vanity Fair called me a dapper, lip-triggering troll.

00:01:15.120 I try to take a little care for my appearance.

00:01:17.600 And no guy looks good if he has a button-down shirt or an Oxford shirt that's all bulky and it's untucked

00:01:23.940 and it's hanging down to your ankles.

00:01:25.420 That doesn't look good.

00:01:26.360 That's called a nightgown, fellas.

00:01:27.680 Don't wear it.

00:01:28.520 You might think it looks casual.

00:01:29.880 You might think, oh, I'm really cool.

00:01:31.300 I'm, yeah, mm, I'm empathetic.

00:01:32.800 Mm, mm, mm.

00:01:33.400 It looks awful.

00:01:34.680 It looks very sloppy.

00:01:36.360 Because the shirts were never meant to be worn that way.

00:01:38.380 They were meant to be tucked.

00:01:39.440 Those are tuck-it shirts.

00:01:40.680 These are untuck-it shirts, which are made especially to be worn untucked.

00:01:44.860 And they look super sleek.

00:01:46.060 I first found out about them.

00:01:47.560 I saw some ads maybe on Facebook or something.

00:01:49.940 Oh, that looks interesting.

00:01:51.180 Then Jeremy Boring, the god king, is an evangelist of untuck-it.

00:01:55.700 So he starts wearing these shirts.

00:01:56.960 I said, wow, that's a good-looking shirt.

00:01:58.480 He said, oh, it's untuck-it, Michael, because I'm a cool guy.

00:02:00.960 And I'm a real, so, okay, great.

00:02:02.120 So I knew I had to get them then.

00:02:03.900 Not too long, not too short for that clean, casual look that you can wear even at the office.

00:02:08.420 They have more than 50 fit combinations.

00:02:10.140 They look great on tall, short, slim, and athletic guys of all ages.

00:02:13.440 Go to untuck-it.com or visit one of untuck-it's 50 stores across the U.S. and Canada.

00:02:17.880 I actually went to an untuck-it store here in L.A.

00:02:19.880 It's great.

00:02:20.760 They'll size you up.

00:02:21.800 They'll fit you into a shirt.

00:02:23.020 Fabulous product.

00:02:24.340 Promo code MKS for 20% off your first purchase.

00:02:29.020 If you want the perfect-fitting shirt, regardless of your shape and size,

00:02:32.180 try the original untucked shirt.

00:02:34.480 Remember to use promo code MKS for 20% off your first purchase.

00:02:40.120 You will love them.

00:02:40.880 Build the wall and crime will fall.

00:02:45.240 So the left is saying walls don't work.

00:02:49.200 This is their new line.

00:02:50.780 Walls don't work.

00:02:51.980 Walls don't work.

00:02:54.680 Walls are immoral.

00:02:55.980 Walls are ineffective.

00:02:57.120 Walls are really terrible.

00:02:58.300 Walls are too expensive.

00:02:59.460 They don't work.

00:03:00.200 This is what they all say.

00:03:01.240 But they do work.

00:03:02.760 Obviously, this argument doesn't make any sense.

00:03:05.280 They say walls don't work and they're immoral.

00:03:09.120 Why are they immoral?

00:03:09.900 They're saying they're immoral because they keep people out.

00:03:11.760 But if they keep people out, then they work.

00:03:14.040 They say that walls are too expensive.

00:03:16.060 The president's only asking for $5 billion, which is statistically zero of the federal budget.

00:03:21.820 But do they?

00:03:22.420 Let's just take on that.

00:03:23.420 We know that walls are perfectly moral.

00:03:27.120 We know that walls are not terribly expensive.

00:03:30.660 Do they work?

00:03:32.020 Do they work?

00:03:32.900 Well, let's look at some of the walls that work.

00:03:36.000 Do they work?

00:03:36.980 According to DHS Secretary, former DHS Secretary, Elaine Duke, they work not only around the world,

00:03:43.320 but in the United States.

00:03:44.540 On Yuma, they built, right by Yuma in the United States, agents were arresting 800 people per day.

00:03:52.260 Trucks were crossing in with a lot of drugs, not through ports of entry, but through little vanishing points

00:03:56.320 where they could disappear really quickly and you couldn't catch them.

00:03:59.280 So around 2005, you had this huge number of illegal aliens pouring in.

00:04:04.700 In 2006, Democrats and Republicans came together for the Secure Fences Act of 2006.

00:04:10.160 This is back when Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton and everybody was supporting building a wall

00:04:14.920 before they hated building a wall because Donald Trump wants to build a wall.

00:04:18.460 When they built that wall, within one year, apprehensions across that border dropped 90%.

00:04:25.180 They were one-tenth of what they were before 2005, as of 2016.

00:04:32.000 Customs and Border Patrol have saved nearly 4,000 near-death individuals who were lost in that desert.

00:04:38.140 But AEI has even more examples.

00:04:42.460 AEI showed a great list of these, the American Enterprise Institute.

00:04:47.340 In Israel, they have a border wall with the West Bank.

00:04:50.060 They didn't build the border wall 60 years ago or 50 years ago.

00:04:53.100 They built it in 2001, 2002 after a campaign against Israel, terrorist campaigns.

00:04:59.020 How did the wall work then?

00:05:00.320 Well, successful terrorist attacks dropped 90% after they built that wall.

00:05:05.580 Same number that we're seeing in Yuma.

00:05:07.080 How about, also in Israel, the border with Egypt.

00:05:10.420 In 2013, again, not ancient history, but relatively recently, Israel reinforced their wall.

00:05:16.420 It cut illegal crossings into Israel to almost zero, a massive drop in illegal crossings.

00:05:23.060 Outside of Israel, in Morocco, there's a wall between Morocco and Algeria.

00:05:27.860 Morocco was fighting off a terrorist campaign during the Cold War by Algeria's proxy, the Polisario Front.

00:05:35.080 The Polisario Front lost strength after Mexico built a 1,700-mile wall.

00:05:40.060 So we hear it's impossible.

00:05:41.100 You can't build even 200 miles.

00:05:42.740 Well, they built a 1,700-mile wall.

00:05:44.680 Wall, fences, minefields, ditches, all these sorts of things.

00:05:47.640 What happened?

00:05:48.440 It worked.

00:05:49.320 It stopped the attacks.

00:05:50.520 It kept the country safe.

00:05:51.760 How about in Cyprus?

00:05:52.780 So now we're moving a little closer to home.

00:05:57.080 The claim that we hear now on the immoral side is that walls are illegal.

00:06:02.820 Walls are immoral.

00:06:03.940 Walls violate international law.

00:06:07.340 Except they don't.

00:06:08.360 They don't violate international law.

00:06:09.900 In Cyprus, the United Nations built a wall.

00:06:13.260 They built a wall in Cyprus, dividing Cyprus between the northern Turkish population and

00:06:17.800 the Greek section after Turkey invaded in 1974.

00:06:21.140 Was that against international law?

00:06:22.680 No.

00:06:22.920 The international lawmaking body is the group that built it.

00:06:26.200 India-Pakistan.

00:06:27.160 India-Pakistan have been fighting for a very long time.

00:06:29.940 Wars in 1947, 1965, 1971, 1999 killed millions of people.

00:06:35.920 India built a wall along its border to deter Pakistani terrorist attacks.

00:06:40.840 And it has worked.

00:06:42.220 And it's very important there.

00:06:43.320 We would know if it doesn't work because those countries have nuclear weapons and they

00:06:46.440 could send us all up in smoke.

00:06:47.760 But the wall worked.

00:06:48.860 How about Turkey and Syria?

00:06:50.460 So in Turkey, the Kurdistan Workers Party from Syria was attacking Turkey.

00:06:58.400 Turkey decided to reinforce its border.

00:07:00.500 What did they use?

00:07:01.020 They used all the things everybody else used.

00:07:02.880 They used fences.

00:07:03.700 They actually used minefields.

00:07:05.180 They used no man's land.

00:07:06.220 And for the next 15 years after they built that wall, everything remained relatively peaceful

00:07:11.020 and quiet.

00:07:12.120 And actually, the attacks only picked up again after Erdogan, the current leader of Turkey,

00:07:16.820 started removing parts of that wall and dismantling parts of that border security.

00:07:21.460 How about in Europe?

00:07:22.420 How about Hungary?

00:07:23.440 Hungary built a border wall because they were being inundated with migrants from the Middle 1.00

00:07:28.880 East.

00:07:29.640 Inundated constantly.

00:07:30.700 They were a port of entry.

00:07:31.840 They built that wall.

00:07:32.620 It dropped illegal crossings down to just about zero.

00:07:36.320 And again, back to the beautiful old United States in El Paso.

00:07:40.560 They built the wall, a section of border fencing along there.

00:07:44.340 During the five-year period after they built that fencing, illegal crossings dropped 89%.

00:07:49.840 And there's been a recent uptick because the Trump economy has been so good.

00:07:53.520 Even with the recent uptick, illegal crossings are still below pre-fence levels.

00:08:00.000 Where do other walls work?

00:08:01.180 Other walls work at homes, prisons, schools, the Vatican forts, castles, movie studios,

00:08:08.180 and gated communities.

00:08:09.700 They work in all of those places.

00:08:12.140 So why can't they work here?

00:08:14.200 What's the problem?

00:08:15.380 We've already done it.

00:08:16.280 It has already worked here.

00:08:17.480 Some conservatives, I think, they have this line, which I understand.

00:08:21.380 I used to say things like this, which is, well, the wall, it doesn't really matter.

00:08:25.400 It matters from a symbolic point of view.

00:08:27.840 It matters because Donald Trump needs to show that he's keeping his campaign promise.

00:08:33.840 It shows because as a symbol, it is keeping people away and it's saying we're not going

00:08:38.460 to tolerate illegal aliens.

00:08:39.860 All of that is true.

00:08:41.100 Also, it works to deter migrants. 0.96

00:08:44.300 It actually keeps them out.

00:08:46.500 These numbers that keep popping up, 90%, 89%, 90%.

00:08:50.220 There's a reason why people have built walls for all of human history, because they do work.

00:08:56.900 And this last example, this gated community, you know, gated communities have walls.

00:09:01.060 This, I think, is the analogy for the United States.

00:09:03.480 The United States is the gated community of countries.

00:09:07.180 We're the nicest country.

00:09:08.700 We've got the nicest people.

00:09:10.060 It's all really pleasant there.

00:09:11.520 Everyone's basically happy.

00:09:12.900 We've got a ton of money and people want to come in and rob us.

00:09:16.820 People want to come in and get some of that sweet, sweet loot.

00:09:22.200 And people in gated communities don't have gates because they hate everybody on the outside,

00:09:27.560 because they don't want to talk to everybody on the outside, because they never want to

00:09:30.620 leave their gated community or anything, do business with people outside the gate.

00:09:33.700 Of course not.

00:09:34.700 They have the gate up because people are posing a threat to them on the inside, because they

00:09:39.960 have really nice stuff and they want to keep it, because they've got a nice little community.

00:09:43.400 We are the gated community of countries.

00:09:45.140 We should build the gate.

00:09:46.060 We should build the wall.

00:09:49.180 Now, how do we get out of this shutdown?

00:09:50.700 Because this is the problem.

00:09:51.440 We're still in this shutdown now.

00:09:52.640 I think we're on day 475.

00:09:55.120 It's the longest shutdown in American history.

00:09:57.140 No, what are we on?

00:09:57.680 We're on 34, maybe, something like that.

00:10:00.180 How do we get out of this shutdown?

00:10:01.760 The current suggestion, apparently being floated to the president, reportedly from Jared Kushner,

00:10:08.020 is to give green cards to 700,000 DACA or DREAMers, the people who were brought here when they

00:10:16.640 were under the age of 18, some of whom now are 40 years old.

00:10:19.860 I mean, the people continue to age.

00:10:21.740 They're not all cute little kids, you know, sitting around saying Google Gaga.

00:10:26.660 Over time, this problem's been unaddressed, and so you've got these older people here now. 1.00

00:10:31.400 700,000 put on a path to legalization.

00:10:37.200 That's a lot.

00:10:38.200 That's a lot to pay for a wall that Democrats voted for 10 years ago.

00:10:42.120 It doesn't seem like a great idea.

00:10:44.100 In fact, it seems like a terrible idea.

00:10:46.120 It's the sort of idea, I think, that would be embraced by the Wall Street Journal kind of Republicans.

00:10:51.720 It would be embraced by liberal Republicans, moderate Democrats.

00:10:55.760 They say, okay, it's fine.

00:10:56.980 We don't really care about immigration.

00:10:59.180 Walls don't even really work.

00:11:00.520 We're just doing this to kind of get out of a tight jam politically.

00:11:03.560 It's a symbol, blah, blah.

00:11:04.600 No.

00:11:05.640 The reason we want the wall is because we need to be able to control our country.

00:11:10.460 We need to be able to control our electoral system.

00:11:12.340 We need to be able to control our government.

00:11:14.260 There was a poll that showed that the majority of Americans do not simply want to end illegal immigration.

00:11:20.040 They want to dramatically reduce legal immigration.

00:11:23.080 Currently, our immigration regime permits 1.2 million people to come into this country every year.

00:11:28.180 The majority of Americans, according to polling, want to drop that number to about half a million, which is still pretty good. 1.00

00:11:34.360 We take in so many more immigrants in this country than anybody else in the world.

00:11:39.600 So I don't think it's insane to say, okay, we'll take in half a million people a year in a country of 300 million people.

00:11:45.480 That's still a lot of people every year rather than more than double that.

00:11:49.320 But the reason we want the wall is because when we all take people in, that's all well and good.

00:11:55.700 When the people come in, though, in order for that not to destabilize our country, they need to assimilate.

00:12:00.560 They need to speak English.

00:12:01.960 They need to like our culture.

00:12:02.900 They need to like our customs.

00:12:03.820 They have to get on board with the project that we're all doing together.

00:12:07.100 The other reason is Democrats realize that a great many immigrants, the majority of immigrants from a lot of places, identify as Democrat.

00:12:14.440 They continue to vote in blocks.

00:12:16.460 You know, the Italians, when they came here, they came to America.

00:12:20.320 They were ashamed of where they came from.

00:12:22.380 They quickly learned English, and they assimilated.

00:12:25.160 They assimilated so much so that you can't predict an Italian-American's political views.

00:12:30.280 I descend from Italian immigrants on my mother's side.

00:12:33.300 Nancy Pelosi descends from Italian immigrants.

00:12:35.820 Andy Cuomo descends from Italian immigrants. 0.85

00:12:38.280 Antonin Scalia descends from Italian immigrants.

00:12:40.760 We have very different political views.

00:12:42.460 Justice Scalia and I compared to Cuomo and Nancy Pelosi because you can't predict how someone's going to vote by that ethnicity.

00:12:50.600 Unfortunately, because we've got a multicultural regime that is encouraging people to flood into the country and not assimilate, 1.00

00:12:57.100 and actually not just not assimilate, but de-assimilate, people who are assimilating now should revert to some other culture that isn't actually theirs, according to the left.

00:13:05.940 Because of that, you can predict with near certainty the way that people from certain countries are going to vote.

00:13:14.220 That's a bad thing.

00:13:15.160 It means that our culture isn't doing a very good job of bringing them in. 0.95

00:13:18.680 Whose fault is that?

00:13:19.580 That's the left.

00:13:20.340 Nevertheless, that's the problem.

00:13:21.780 And so Democrats see that opportunity, and they say, oh, great.

00:13:24.520 So we can't win elections with Americans, but if we just import huge numbers of people, more than twice as many people as the country actually wants to take in every year, 0.92

00:13:33.740 then we can get them to vote for us, flood the country with our voters, and then we can do whatever we want.

00:13:38.320 That's quite unjust.

00:13:40.880 There's nothing American about that.

00:13:42.760 There's nothing, obviously there's nothing legal about it because of our illegal immigration problem, but there's nothing fair.

00:13:49.500 There's nothing democratic about that.

00:13:50.920 There's nothing liberal about that.

00:13:52.360 So the wall matters in a very tangible, practical way.

00:13:59.080 The reason it matters is so that we don't flood the country with people who the country doesn't want to be here. 0.57

00:14:05.940 And if in exchange for building the wall, you legalize nearly a million people who Democrats are hungry to legalize because statistically they're going to vote overwhelmingly for Democrats,

00:14:16.800 then it's a pyrrhic victory.

00:14:18.340 What have you accomplished?

00:14:19.120 You've built the wall, but you've legalized all of the people that the wall is meant to discourage. 1.00

00:14:25.540 What's the point of that?

00:14:26.760 Oh, great.

00:14:27.200 We built the wall.

00:14:28.320 I mean, Ann Coulter had that funny tweet yesterday.

00:14:30.840 She said, okay, if we give amnesty to a million people in exchange for 200 miles, if we give amnesty to a billion people, maybe we can get the whole wall.

00:14:39.640 That'd be great.

00:14:40.240 But what's the point there?

00:14:41.500 You bring a billion people in and then you don't have a country anymore.

00:14:45.700 It's a very bad idea.

00:14:46.980 I hope the president doesn't take it seriously.

00:14:49.160 And I hope that it's being floated out there to get the opinions of President Trump's base in which I find myself.

00:14:57.060 Let's make it clear.

00:14:58.340 This is not what we want.

00:14:59.800 The Democrats will fold on this.

00:15:02.440 Nobody cares about this shutdown.

00:15:04.440 It's hurting some federal workers.

00:15:06.720 That's sad.

00:15:08.000 The vast majority of Americans don't care about it.

00:15:10.620 Many people don't even know that the government is shut down.

00:15:13.120 It's not affecting their lives.

00:15:15.520 The president was elected to build the wall and stop illegal immigration.

00:15:18.680 The majority of Americans want to reduce legal immigration.

00:15:21.820 This is a winning issue.

00:15:23.680 Don't fail.

00:15:25.220 Don't flop on it.

00:15:26.260 What's the point of that?

00:15:27.200 They would have elected Democrats if they wanted you to do this.

00:15:30.980 So don't, I mean, the Democrats do this all the time.

00:15:33.540 Because they control the media, they're able to make it seem like there's this huge public pressure to give them exactly what they want.

00:15:40.020 No, they want you to pass what will end up being a very unpopular policy.

00:15:45.260 It's a trick.

00:15:45.960 It's a trap.

00:15:46.580 Don't fall for it.

00:15:47.260 Very bad idea.

00:15:48.640 We've got to get to these Covington kids too.

00:15:50.740 These Covington, there are more, there are new developments.

00:15:53.200 You thought you'd seen it all with that absolute media hit job.

00:15:57.200 Well, now we see there was initially this very short video floating around the internet.

00:16:03.360 And then this Twitter account, this mysterious Twitter account posted it and said, these kids are harassing a Native American.

00:16:11.580 The Twitter account is now gone.

00:16:13.860 Turns out it was a fraudulent account.

00:16:15.540 We don't know if this account was from some foreign agent trying to stir up trouble.

00:16:19.340 We don't know who it is, but it's been taken off of Twitter.

00:16:22.100 When all of the video came out, we found out that narrative was completely false.

00:16:25.700 It was completely flipped on its head.

00:16:27.020 But that was not before.

00:16:27.860 The mainstream media, parts of the Catholic Church, a ton of Democrat politicians, even many conservative pundits, piled on these kids with no evidence.

00:16:36.040 Most of the conservatives at this point have apologized.

00:16:38.240 Most of the other people have not apologized.

00:16:40.120 Now, Ilhan Omar, that freshman congresswoman from the Democrats, is doubling down.

00:16:46.720 She tweeted out, quote,

00:16:48.180 The boys were protesting a woman's right to choose and yelled, it's not rape if you enjoy it. 0.98

00:16:53.140 They were taunting five black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants.

00:16:57.660 Sandman's family hired a right-wing PR firm to write his non-apology.

00:17:02.660 Yeah, it's a non-apology because he's got nothing to apologize for.

00:17:05.300 You have something to apologize for.

00:17:07.880 Ilhan Omar has hypnotized the Democrats.

00:17:10.720 I pray that video footage will awaken them to the evil doings of Ilhan Omar.

00:17:16.720 And points to those of you who caught that reference.

00:17:20.040 So the boys were protesting a woman's right to choose. 0.53

00:17:23.280 Okay.

00:17:23.580 They were protesting the slaughter of millions of babies, 60 million babies since Roe v. Wade.

00:17:30.060 That's what they were protesting.

00:17:31.420 Why were they protesting it?

00:17:32.720 Because, well, because it's the wholesale slaughter of 60 million babies since Roe v. Wade.

00:17:38.000 Also because they're Catholic, but the Democrat Party despises religious freedom and particularly Catholicism these days.

00:17:44.420 We see this in Dianne Feinstein trying to disqualify judges for being Catholic. 0.83

00:17:49.460 Kamala Harris trying to do exactly the same thing. 0.64

00:17:53.640 Omar alleges that they were shouting, it's not rape if you enjoy it.

00:17:57.680 There's no evidence of this.

00:17:58.740 There was some video of some other people around them.

00:18:04.320 Because other people obviously came into the melee.

00:18:07.700 And someone may have said that. 0.60

00:18:09.740 But it seems to have been in response as a joke, albeit maybe a bad joke, to some of the black Israelites.

00:18:15.360 But we don't even know.

00:18:16.440 Now it's being alleged that that person doesn't go to Covington Catholic.

00:18:19.240 The reason that we have to believe the kid didn't go to Covington Catholic is because there were a lot of girls around there too.

00:18:24.360 Covington Catholic is an all-boys school.

00:18:25.960 So I don't know where this kid was from.

00:18:28.300 Certainly that wasn't, by the way, that wasn't in the original video.

00:18:31.360 So the fact that Ilhan Omar is doubling down on this is absurd.

00:18:34.780 They're just trying to distract because they can't admit that they were wrong.

00:18:38.260 Now Ilhan Omar, while not apologizing and while not apologizing for that tweet, did delete the tweet.

00:18:44.700 Because she knew it was a terrible look.

00:18:46.380 Just a terrible idea.

00:18:47.700 The other new information we've gotten in the last few days is that Nathan Phillips, you remember?

00:18:51.480 That Native American, elder, Vietnam veteran.

00:18:55.820 How dare these kids disrespect him?

00:18:58.220 They approached him.

00:18:59.340 They harassed him.

00:19:00.160 Turns out none of that's true.

00:19:01.580 He approached them.

00:19:02.520 He harassed them.

00:19:03.400 He banged a drum in their face.

00:19:04.780 And it turns out he's not a Vietnam veteran.

00:19:07.700 He didn't even fight in Vietnam, which was the headline blared on every newspaper for the past three days.

00:19:14.300 Washington Post, a Vietnam veteran.

00:19:16.700 Where are those retractions?

00:19:18.860 He's a veteran.

00:19:19.920 He served, I think, 1972 to 76, something like that.

00:19:25.160 But he did not serve in combat.

00:19:27.860 He did not serve in Vietnam.

00:19:29.560 And I bring this up.

00:19:30.620 I mean, good for him for serving at all.

00:19:32.760 But I bring this up because he's using this phrase, Vietnam times veteran.

00:19:37.380 And he's allowing this misinformation to go around all the mainstream.

00:19:41.120 Vietnam veteran, Vietnam veteran.

00:19:42.440 The phrase Vietnam times veteran, when you use it to boast about yourself, is an intentionally misleading phrase, which is crafted to imply wrongly that you served in combat in Vietnam.

00:19:56.480 That's what it's about.

00:19:58.300 He had said, look, I'm a veteran.

00:19:59.960 I said, okay, you're a veteran.

00:20:00.900 Good for you for putting on the uniform.

00:20:02.460 That's a great thing.

00:20:03.480 Thanks.

00:20:04.800 I said, I'm a Vietnam times veteran.

00:20:07.040 I said, what was that?

00:20:07.640 What was that second word?

00:20:08.960 And I called it.

00:20:09.760 I knew it.

00:20:10.540 I said, the first show back, I said, he uses this strange phrase.

00:20:14.260 I wonder what that is.

00:20:14.960 I didn't want to accuse him, obviously, without evidence, because I'm not a member of the mainstream media. 0.98

00:20:19.600 So if I had been for the Washington Post, I would have immediately had a giant headline, this guy's a dirty, rotten monster who didn't serve in Vietnam. 0.98

00:20:27.540 But then I waited. 0.98

00:20:28.800 This is what journalists are supposed to do.

00:20:30.120 You wait for the information to come out.

00:20:31.980 It turns out our hunch was right.

00:20:34.520 He didn't serve in Vietnam. 1.00

00:20:36.540 He also is a huge jerk. 1.00

00:20:38.540 We now know that as well. 1.00

00:20:39.800 He's a gigantic jerk. 1.00

00:20:41.520 It turns out that he led, just around the day of this incident, 20 Native Americans to disrupt a vigil mass that was occurring. 1.00

00:20:51.320 This was just reported from the Catholic News Service. 1.00

00:20:54.240 He tried to break into a church and disrupt a vigil mass because he's a huge jerk. 0.99

00:21:01.020 They said it was scary, the people inside. 0.99

00:21:02.940 They said, fortunately, the guards were basically able to keep him out. 0.99

00:21:06.060 He's a lunatic. 1.00

00:21:07.280 He's a lunatic and he's a liar. 1.00

00:21:08.980 And the mainstream media are lunatics and liars. 1.00

00:21:12.280 I don't know which they are most of the time. 0.98

00:21:14.200 I guess they're not mutually exclusive.

00:21:17.440 Now we're seeing the replay of this Brett Kavanaugh incident.

00:21:21.540 We're seeing the replay almost exactly with this kid, Nick Sandman, who was the leader of the Covington students.

00:21:27.460 He was the one sitting there, standing there while the Native American banged a drum in his face. 0.90

00:21:32.160 So now he's getting the full Kavanaugh treatment.

00:21:34.480 He was brought on the Today Show to discuss his experience.

00:21:37.600 Do you feel from this experience that you owe anybody an apology?

00:21:44.920 Do you see your own fault in any way?

00:21:49.700 As far as standing there, I had every right to do so.

00:21:54.180 I don't, I, my position is that I was not disrespectful to Mr. Phillips.

00:22:00.900 I respect him.

00:22:02.100 I'd like to talk to him.

00:22:04.220 I mean, in hindsight, I wish we could have walked away and avoided the whole thing.

00:22:08.640 But I can't say that I'm sorry for listening to him and standing there.

00:22:14.800 This morning, 16-year-old Nick Sandman, standing by his actions in this moment, gone viral.

00:22:20.580 The junior at Kentucky's Covington Catholic High School, now the face of this Lincoln Memorial confrontation with Native American elder Nathan Phillips.

00:22:29.200 Confrey's the face of the confrontation.

00:22:31.140 First of all, no, he isn't.

00:22:32.300 Nathan Phillips is the face of the confrontation because he started the confrontation.

00:22:35.980 He marched up out of nowhere and started banging a drum in some poor kid's face.

00:22:41.160 He is the face of the confrontation.

00:22:43.120 The victim of the confrontation is Nick Sandman, this kid.

00:22:46.640 But I love his answer.

00:22:47.720 I would not have had the restraint that he has.

00:22:50.320 I wouldn't have had the restraint on the National Mall.

00:22:52.400 I wouldn't have had the restraint on the Today Show.

00:22:54.740 See, so do you apologize for your actions?

00:22:58.080 Do you feel bad for what you did?

00:23:00.240 He said, no, I don't feel sorry for standing and having a Native American bang a drum in my face. 1.00

00:23:08.960 I'm not sorry.

00:23:10.000 That's not a sin. 0.95

00:23:11.460 I don't know how familiar you are with mortal and venial sins, but this is not a sin to stand there and take abuse from some lunatic Native American activist banging a drum in my teenage face. 1.00

00:23:24.400 You freaking hack. 0.99

00:23:26.640 So he handled himself with incredible maturity, incredible restraint. 0.99

00:23:33.880 You'll remember, by the way, the comparisons between this and Brett Kavanaugh.

00:23:37.400 I would have gone the Kavanaugh route.

00:23:39.180 I would have gone out there guns a-blazing.

00:23:41.640 No, Savannah, I'm not sorry.

00:23:43.280 I still like beer.

00:23:44.560 I like beer.

00:23:45.640 Sometimes I drink too much.

00:23:47.220 When I drink too much, I don't bang drums in teenagers' faces because I'm a normal person, not a lunatic actor.

00:23:53.680 I don't disrupt vigil masses.

00:23:54.980 This is the Kavanaugh incident.

00:23:57.220 They might as well call it Kavanaugh-vington High School at this point in Kentucky.

00:24:01.140 The parallels are exact. 0.94

00:24:03.320 And there are people, by the way, members of the media, who posted pictures of the two of them because for some people, what this is really about is how much they hate white guys, specifically conservative white guys.

00:24:14.240 Nathan Phillips is Christine Blasey Ford here.

00:24:16.560 He's even a little kookier, but I say, oh, just a little bit. 0.97

00:24:20.260 That's what it is.

00:24:20.960 He's Christine Blasey Ford.

00:24:22.440 Nathan Phillips is a demonstrable liar whose story keeps changing and who the mainstream media keep giving cover to even after the story changes and changes and changes.

00:24:31.800 I've never seen people so happy to destroy a kid's life when that becomes the norm in the media in America simply because they're associated with this president. 0.92

00:24:45.920 That is disgraceful and that should never happen.

00:24:48.920 Let's hope that this is a lesson to all of the media, to everyone.

00:24:53.400 Let's focus on getting things right, not getting them first.

00:24:56.680 I've never seen people more excited to destroy someone's life since Brett Kavanaugh, since they were begging to destroy.

00:25:05.180 Brett Kavanaugh is not a teenager, though you would have thought he was a teenager from everything they were talking about, what he did when he was 16, what he did, what was written in his high school yearbook.

00:25:14.380 It's unbelievable, the parallels, and they really wanted to destroy this guy, Brett Kavanaugh, who had unimpeachable character, federal judge for 12 years.

00:25:22.500 No one ever questioned his integrity until Donald Trump appointed him for something.

00:25:28.060 What about this poor kid?

00:25:28.980 What did this kid ever do?

00:25:30.060 Oh, he wore a Make America Great Again hat.

00:25:31.860 He associated with a symbol that Donald Trump uses, and so they had to destroy him.

00:25:38.500 The only honest take on this was from the left-wingers on The View.

00:25:42.320 Many people admitted they made snap judgments before these other facts came in, but is it that we just instantly say that's what it is based on what we see in that moment, and then have to walk stuff back when it turns out we're wrong?

00:26:01.280 Why is that?

00:26:02.340 Why do we keep making the same mistake?

00:26:05.520 Because we're desperate to get Trump out of office.

00:26:09.360 That's why.

00:26:10.020 It's not everybody, though.

00:26:12.600 But what does that have to do?

00:26:16.820 I think that that's the reason.

00:26:18.960 I think the press jumps the gun a lot because we just, we have so much circumstantial evidence against this guy that we basically are hoping that, you know, Cohen's got the goods and what have you.

00:26:29.520 And so it's wishful thinking.

00:26:30.900 Right, but let's talk about the kids in this particular confrontation, since that's the question at hand.

00:26:40.140 You also have Trump supporters that also jump to judgment, too.

00:26:43.680 So I wouldn't say it's all to get Trump out of office.

00:26:45.800 I think a collective, we as a society, jump to judgment today, and you believe whatever you want to believe.

00:26:52.340 If you see that video and it helps the narrative that you believe in, then I think we're quick to jump on that.

00:26:57.360 That's right.

00:26:57.960 That's exactly right.

00:26:58.640 Joy Behar is right.

00:26:59.340 The reason that they jumped on this is because the left is so desperate to get Trump out of office.

00:27:04.680 And Abby, the one sort of more right-leaning person on The View, Meghan McCain, I guess, is there, too.

00:27:10.420 But Abby certainly is that way. 0.99

00:27:11.960 She says, look, you see what you want to see.

00:27:14.520 You see what you want to believe, which is half right.

00:27:17.840 That's certainly true of the left.

00:27:19.300 The left saw that video, and they saw what they wanted to see, and they ran with that narrative.

00:27:25.420 And some right-wingers saw what they wanted to see.

00:27:28.060 The right-wingers who opposed Donald Trump saw these MAGA hat-wearing kids, and they immediately condemned them.

00:27:35.940 National Review said they might as well have spit on the cross, really reactionary stuff.

00:27:40.820 Luckily, at least, the conservative ones apologized.

00:27:44.040 I'll tell you what I did, though.

00:27:44.980 When I saw that video, I didn't see what I wanted to see.

00:27:47.400 I didn't react to having seen what I wanted to see.

00:27:51.260 I just kept quiet for, like, 12 hours.

00:27:54.740 Like, 12 hours.

00:27:55.700 It wasn't like I stayed quiet for a week.

00:27:57.640 I said, hmm, this is inconclusive.

00:27:59.400 I don't know what this means.

00:28:00.720 Maybe I'll keep my mouth shut for, like, 12 hours and see what happens.

00:28:03.640 And I'm really glad I did that because 12 hours later, an hour of video came out and flipped the entire narrative.

00:28:09.220 It's basically the left that saw what they wanted to see.

00:28:14.520 Broadly, the right and independents didn't see what they wanted to see.

00:28:18.380 They saw a video.

00:28:19.540 They didn't know what they were quite looking at because it was a very quick video that was very inconclusive.

00:28:23.920 Then they waited for 12 hours, and then it was fine.

00:28:27.100 This is not a, oh, shucks, it's all of our fault. 0.98

00:28:30.060 Oh, gosh darn it. 0.95

00:28:31.160 We all have to do better. 0.98

00:28:32.280 No, the left has to do better.

00:28:33.400 And some trigger-happy people on the right have to do better, too.

00:28:39.360 But broadly speaking, the right, broadly speaking, people in the middle, independents, it's not that they have to do better.

00:28:45.100 It's the left.

00:28:45.700 It's the mainstream media.

00:28:46.620 It's politicians.

00:28:47.460 It's parts of the Catholic Church.

00:28:48.700 It's everyone who piled on those kids and didn't apologize.

00:28:52.280 Okay, we've got to talk about how New York is now legalizing abortion up until the date of birth.

00:28:56.420 If you, you know, you're nine months pregnant, you're thinking, oh, oh, I might be going into labor pain soon, time to get an abortion, you can now do that in New York State because of the sick governor there, Andrew Cuomo.

00:29:07.540 We will analyze that.

00:29:08.680 We will analyze the case for life and the case for death, how it affects New York, how it affects all the way over to the Netherlands.

00:29:17.120 But first, I've got to say goodbye to Facebook and YouTube.

00:29:20.520 Coming up next Tuesday, January 29th, tune into our next episode of Daily Wire backstage, State of the Union edition, maybe, you know, if they have the State of the Union.

00:30:16.220 This one makes me splurk, smirk.

00:30:18.800 This is the Covington High School blend.

00:30:21.760 This is the entire mainstream media apparatus humiliates and destroys itself blend.

00:30:28.320 Mmm.

00:30:29.200 Oh, I've never wanted to smirk more.

00:30:30.960 Mmm.

00:30:31.380 Somebody start banging on a drum.

00:30:32.720 I want to smirk even more.

00:30:34.900 Go to dailywire.com.

00:30:35.960 We'll be right back.

00:30:36.600 New York is legalizing abortion up until the date of birth, which I think at the date of

00:30:53.500 birth, we can all agree that you just call that infanticide.

00:30:56.460 So now, the day before birth, do you call that infanticide?

00:30:59.320 No.

00:30:59.500 The left calls it abortion.

00:31:00.380 It calls it women's health or a woman's right to choose. 1.00

00:31:03.140 This is a pretty sick governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo.

00:31:07.220 How do you kick off the press conference, Governor? 0.77

00:31:12.180 Thank you very much.

00:31:13.820 Thank you very much.

00:31:15.200 Thank you.

00:31:15.660 Thank you.

00:31:16.060 Thank you.

00:31:17.600 How exciting is today?

00:31:21.480 First, let's give Barnard and the leadership a big round of applause.

00:31:24.920 Thank you for having us here today.

00:31:27.640 How exciting is today? 0.99

00:31:29.000 We're going to kill a lot more babies. 1.00

00:31:30.780 We're going to kill them right up until the day of birth. 1.00

00:31:32.680 How exciting. 1.00

00:31:33.520 And then all everybody in the press, yay, yay, yay.

00:31:36.340 It's almost comical if it weren't so tragic.

00:31:40.480 It is farcical.

00:31:41.760 That's certainly the case.

00:31:43.920 It's crazy. 0.95

00:31:45.160 How exciting is today we now get to kill eight and a half month old babies in the state of 0.98

00:31:49.920 New York? 0.98

00:31:50.400 That's all this is about.

00:31:53.260 Reproductive justice. 0.99

00:31:54.620 That's all that this is about.

00:31:56.340 I've met Andrew Cuomo on two occasions.

00:31:58.720 I was his waiter one time when I was in high school.

00:32:00.660 And then I was wandering around New York right as Hurricane Sandy was happening.

00:32:04.320 And I ran into him walking around the street.

00:32:06.520 This guy is a pretty tough hombre.

00:32:08.760 This guy is a pretty no-nonsense bulldog-like character.

00:32:12.140 He clearly has higher political ambitions.

00:32:14.300 His father didn't run for president, though he was expected to.

00:32:19.120 They called him Hamlet on the Hudson.

00:32:20.900 Andrew Cuomo says he's not going to run for president this time around.

00:32:23.860 He clearly wants to be the president.

00:32:25.500 He's been in politics his whole life.

00:32:27.840 Cuomo initially positioned himself as a sort of moderate Democrat.

00:32:30.880 Now he's running far to the left.

00:32:32.480 And that's what this is all about.

00:32:33.860 This is about his future political ambitions in a Democrat party that no longer believes

00:32:38.120 abortion should be safe, legal, and rare. 0.79

00:32:39.840 It believes that you should be able to kill a baby on the very day that he's about to be 0.97

00:32:43.760 born. 0.99

00:32:44.380 That's what they believe now.

00:32:45.380 At least they're honest.

00:32:46.900 Andrew Cuomo is an old Hillary Clinton guy.

00:32:49.340 He went with the transition team in 1992 to help out the transition.

00:32:54.960 He never left.

00:32:55.580 He stuck around Bill Clinton's administration until the very end of it.

00:32:58.900 He's been close with Hillary for a long time.

00:33:00.440 He invited Hillary to the stage while he announced the new reproductive law, the ironically named 1.00

00:33:09.120 reproductive law, because it's about the opposite of reproduction. 0.99

00:33:11.820 It's about killing a baby that's about to be born. 0.89

00:33:13.900 He goes on. 0.98

00:33:14.440 Assemblywoman Deborah Glick was a pioneer and a crusader for women's rights and LGBTQ rights

00:33:22.600 before many of the people in this room were even aware of the fight.

00:33:27.960 Deborah Glick, God bless you.

00:33:29.440 God bless you.

00:33:33.360 Probably a poor choice of words from the governor. 0.98

00:33:36.040 Just a rule of thumb if you are announcing that you're going to kill many, many, many, 0.99

00:33:40.920 many more babies. 0.98

00:33:42.540 Best not to invoke God.

00:33:44.460 I don't think he takes kindly to that sort of thing.

00:33:46.800 It's also ironic how he's talking about that.

00:33:49.940 He says, this is all about women's rights.

00:33:53.500 What about the 30 million baby girls who were killed between Roe v. Wade and today?

00:33:59.300 What about them?

00:34:00.140 Is it about their rights?

00:34:01.040 30 million.

00:34:02.560 I bet a lot more people would have turned out to the Women's March if those 30 million 1.00

00:34:05.540 women were still alive, if they hadn't been killed before they were born. 1.00

00:34:09.960 Only a few thousand people, maybe 10,000 people turned out to the Women's March across the

00:34:15.300 country over the weekend.

00:34:17.120 Bet 30 million more women would have really helped. 1.00

00:34:19.340 But too bad.

00:34:20.640 Not about women's rights. 0.98

00:34:22.380 LGBTQ rights.

00:34:23.800 He says, oh, it's all about LGBTQ. 0.86

00:34:27.720 We're already seeing sex-selective abortion in the United States.

00:34:31.520 Sex-selective fertility, certainly, in the United States.

00:34:34.560 We're already seeing gene-edited babies around the world.

00:34:36.960 We see a lot of selection when it comes to abortion and fertility around the world.

00:34:41.460 When they identify the gay gene, this is what scientists are looking for. 0.97

00:34:47.180 This is what the left's premise, you know, you're born this way. 0.94

00:34:50.580 This is what this leads to, that there's a gay gene. 0.96

00:34:53.300 Do we really believe that people won't select against the gay gene? 1.00

00:34:59.020 The whole argument from the LGBT left is that it's stigmatized, that it's looked on with

00:35:05.040 opprobrium to be gay or transgender. 0.72

00:35:07.160 If that is true, and if people are also editing their babies from whole scratch, if they're

00:35:13.520 designing their babies, do we really think that they're not going to select against that?

00:35:17.140 They already select against women. 0.98

00:35:18.820 They already prefer men to women. 1.00

00:35:21.140 They already prefer baby boys to baby girls. 0.99

00:35:23.040 This has been borne out in a lot of public opinion surveys. 1.00

00:35:25.800 They already kill people with mental disabilities. 0.99

00:35:29.060 Iceland laughed about this. 0.99

00:35:31.380 They said, this is so wonderful.

00:35:32.440 They bragged.

00:35:33.540 They said, we have eliminated Down syndrome in Iceland. 1.00

00:35:37.920 No, you just kill all the Down syndrome babies. 1.00

00:35:40.200 You haven't eliminated a thing other than their lives. 0.99

00:35:43.880 So the irony here, it's for women's rights. 1.00

00:35:47.080 It's for LGBTQ rights.

00:35:50.060 Baby girls and gay babies are going to be selected against by this eugenicist agenda. 0.99

00:35:57.380 It's already happening, and it's already being discussed as a real possibility. 0.97

00:36:02.440 He goes on.

00:36:03.000 We have an extreme conservative agenda in Washington.

00:36:09.500 It's their morality.

00:36:11.700 It's their interpretation of religion.

00:36:14.500 It's their interpretation of ethics, and they're going to impose it on you.

00:36:20.660 Which, by the way, in this upside-down world, is a total repudiation of conservative theory.

00:36:28.840 Because remember what the conservative said?

00:36:31.000 Limited government.

00:36:33.020 Limited federal government.

00:36:34.840 Because the federal government, they don't know anything.

00:36:37.740 State government, local government, people's rights.

00:36:40.440 But limited government.

00:36:42.220 Right.

00:36:43.220 Uh-huh.

00:36:43.900 That's true.

00:36:45.720 There's nothing anti-conservative about laws against murder.

00:36:49.480 I don't, this is such a straw man. 1.00

00:36:52.340 I don't know if Andrew Cuomo is stupid or obtuse. 1.00

00:36:55.100 It could be either. 1.00

00:36:56.020 I don't think he's a stupid man, but he's making a stupid argument. 1.00

00:37:00.380 Do, do, does any conservative think that laws against murder are wrong because it's big government? 1.00

00:37:06.040 Are there conservatives marching, saying, we need to repeal laws against murder.

00:37:09.420 Get the government out of our killing.

00:37:11.980 No, of course not.

00:37:13.960 The government exists to protect life.

00:37:17.220 Primarily.

00:37:17.920 That's its first charge.

00:37:19.040 Even libertarians, to protect life and liberty.

00:37:21.360 You can't protect liberty without life. 1.00

00:37:23.400 This is such a stupid argument. 1.00

00:37:25.940 Their laws against protecting life are not contrary to any conservative or even libertarian point of view. 1.00

00:37:31.860 He says, oh, well, it's contrary to conservative philosophy, conservative ideology.

00:37:40.580 What are you talking about?

00:37:41.760 He says, they're trying to impose their morality on us.

00:37:45.120 Right.

00:37:45.360 And you're trying to promote your immorality and impose it on us.

00:37:49.760 Right.

00:37:50.100 Politics is about moral questions. 1.00

00:37:52.340 One of the stupidest lines you ever hear in politics is, you can't legislate morality. 1.00

00:37:57.460 Get morality out of politics. 1.00

00:37:59.820 That doesn't even mean anything.

00:38:01.060 That is a statement that has the same semantic value as, that's what it means.

00:38:08.180 It has that meaning value.

00:38:10.860 Politics is the affairs of people.

00:38:13.200 Politics is how people live together and govern each other, govern themselves, live in civil society.

00:38:18.920 What people care about are moral questions.

00:38:21.780 What people do has moral value because there is a moral law and we are moral beings. 0.89

00:38:26.600 So, if I took this mug and I drink my leftist tears, if I take this leftist tears tumbler and hurl it at Colton's head and knock him in the head, that is immoral. 0.70

00:38:38.200 It has moral value. 0.60

00:38:39.240 What we do has moral value as people.

00:38:41.800 When we say we need to raise taxes on the rich because the rich have too much money, you're making a moral argument.

00:38:48.600 When Andy Cuomo is standing there saying we need women to have the right to kill their babies, he is making a moral argument.

00:38:55.560 We're always making moral arguments. 0.97

00:38:57.260 But really, he's making an immoral argument. 1.00

00:39:00.080 He's saying we need to kill babies. 0.99

00:39:01.640 What the right is saying is we shouldn't kill babies. 0.99

00:39:05.180 Those aren't morally equivalent.

00:39:06.960 That's not a relativistic question.

00:39:11.240 One is right and one is wrong.

00:39:12.680 He's on the wrong side of this.

00:39:13.960 He says conservatives have the world upside down.

00:39:15.780 I talk about this all the time.

00:39:17.160 It's true.

00:39:17.660 The conservative worldview must look upside down to Andrew Cuomo, who is a leftist.

00:39:22.860 Because leftism gets everything exactly backwards.

00:39:25.100 It gets it so backwards that now strength is weakness, that now justice is injustice, that now stealing money from somebody is compassion and generosity, and keeping your own money is greed.

00:39:41.280 That's a crazy upside down world.

00:39:44.460 And there's a line from, I think it's Euripides in the Bacchae. 1.00

00:39:48.300 He says, talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. 0.97

00:39:50.840 Andrew Cuomo must think that this entire conservative worldview is upside down because he is standing with his feet firmly planted on the ceiling. 0.99

00:39:59.860 He's looking out at the entire world and he thinks that the ground is the sky.

00:40:04.360 So he goes on.

00:40:05.260 I want to pass this year a constitutional amendment that writes into the constitution a provision protecting a woman's right to control her own reproductive health. 0.88

00:40:22.760 Is there anything creepier than a man advocating abortion?

00:40:50.140 Is there anything on earth?

00:40:52.200 Yeah, we, oh, come on. 1.00

00:40:53.700 Yeah, women, I can't wait to kill all of those babies that we've given you and take away all of our responsibility. 1.00

00:40:58.900 Yeah, isn't this great? 1.00

00:41:00.360 I'm a great guy.

00:41:01.640 So, so creepy.

00:41:03.040 The way that you know he's wrong, though, after all of this, after all this creepy press conference he's given with Hillary Clinton there sort of stirring her cauldron,

00:41:11.100 she's, she is directly stage right of Andrew Cuomo right now.

00:41:15.340 And if you can't see it, I know she's not on screen in this clip, but what you can just imagine is her sitting there, you know, with a giant spoon, a ladle in her cauldron.

00:41:24.620 Like, wah, yes, yes, up until the day of birth. 0.93

00:41:28.380 Wah, ha, ha, ha.

00:41:29.300 So she's doing that right after the press conference.

00:41:31.360 She hopped, she turned that stick into a broomstick and then flew right out of the area. 1.00

00:41:36.040 Yeah, the way that you know that this is all wrong is that he can't just say abortion.

00:41:43.060 That's how you know he's wrong.

00:41:44.800 That's how you know that on a deep level he knows that he's wrong.

00:41:48.680 He can't just say we're going to make abortion legal up until the day of birth.

00:41:53.400 He can't say that.

00:41:55.240 He says we are going to give women control of their own bodies. 0.99

00:41:59.760 The baby's not their body. 0.80

00:42:02.660 It's genetically unique.

00:42:04.240 It's unique.

00:42:05.380 It's another human.

00:42:06.780 It's spiritually unique.

00:42:07.940 It's got its own face.

00:42:08.920 It's got its own little hands.

00:42:10.040 It's got its own little fingers.

00:42:11.220 It's got its own little heart.

00:42:13.500 It's a different person.

00:42:15.520 It's your child.

00:42:17.000 It has a connection to you, not just an umbilical cord.

00:42:20.060 It's your child.

00:42:21.480 It does have a connection, right? 0.97

00:42:22.800 You're not supposed to kill your children. 0.96

00:42:24.620 That's wrong.

00:42:25.280 In nature, sometimes animals kill their children.

00:42:27.840 You're a person.

00:42:28.740 You're not supposed to do that.

00:42:29.900 That's immoral to do.

00:42:31.360 He says, oh, it's reproductive justice. 0.99

00:42:33.360 It's not reproductive. 0.99

00:42:34.300 It's the opposite of reproductive. 0.99

00:42:37.120 It's not even contraceptive.

00:42:38.600 It's just infanticide.

00:42:41.160 He just can't say abortion.

00:42:43.040 If abortion's fine, then shout it. 1.00

00:42:44.740 I give that one woman credit. 0.93

00:42:46.460 The shout your abortion woman. 1.00

00:42:47.840 Please, she's honest.

00:42:48.840 Shout your abortion. 1.00

00:42:49.880 If you're so proud of it, if you think it's a good thing, shout it.

00:42:52.300 Shout it from the rooftop. 0.81

00:42:53.280 And don't use these ridiculous euphemisms.

00:42:55.540 Euphemisms are the way that you know that someone is being dishonest.

00:42:59.600 That someone is trying to deceive you.

00:43:00.800 Yesterday was the 46th anniversary of Roe versus Wade, which made abortion legal throughout the United States.

00:43:07.920 We are talking about a slippery slope here.

00:43:10.060 Obviously, there's the immediate tangible effect of Roe versus Wade.

00:43:14.320 60 million babies have been killed in the United States since 1973.

00:43:19.020 Killed before they were born.

00:43:20.840 60 million.

00:43:22.300 And don't think that that's a scare number from some conservative site.

00:43:25.580 That's from the Guttmacher Institute that was part of Planned Parenthood.

00:43:29.500 That's a pro-choice, pro-abortion organization that gives that number.

00:43:34.560 It's a conservative lowercase c number.

00:43:37.960 What is the conclusion of that?

00:43:39.700 The conclusion of that is it's no longer safe, legal, and rare.

00:43:42.380 The conclusion is Andy Cuomo saying, hey, folks, isn't this exciting?

00:43:45.680 And the conclusion of that you see in the Netherlands, which is a culture of death. 0.83

00:43:49.420 Today, in the Netherlands, 25% of all deaths come by forms of euthanasia and suicide.

00:43:56.200 And euthanasia is just a euphemism for suicide.

00:43:59.660 It's got the EU right in it.

00:44:01.700 Euthanasia.

00:44:02.340 Euphemism.

00:44:03.200 In 2015, in the Netherlands, 431 people were killed by doctors without asking for it.

00:44:09.300 Which is no longer suicide, that's murder.

00:44:13.580 This now, this slippery slurp of assisted suicide, compassionate suicide, allowing people to escape suffering,

00:44:22.180 has now been expanded to making it legal for the government to kill people who have dementia, 0.74

00:44:27.660 to kill people who have mental problems. 0.77

00:44:29.540 83 people in 2017 were killed in the Netherlands because they had mental deficiencies. 0.99

00:44:34.800 Babies with diseases are regularly killed.

00:44:36.720 In 2018, last year, a Dutch doctor killed a 74-year-old woman who was begging him not to kill her.

00:44:44.460 74-year-old woman, she had some dementia.

00:44:47.400 He gave her a cup of poison coffee, and she would not drink it.

00:44:52.040 She said, no, I don't want to die.

00:44:53.580 I don't want the coffee.

00:44:54.760 He made her drink it.

00:44:56.160 She pushed it away.

00:44:57.100 She wouldn't take it.

00:44:58.100 He then told the woman's husband and daughter to hold her down while he administered the poison,

00:45:04.620 murdered her right on that bed.

00:45:06.940 Euthanasia.

00:45:09.160 Compassion.

00:45:09.660 Assisted suicide.

00:45:10.640 Isn't it better?

00:45:11.280 Isn't it better?

00:45:11.960 That's the culture of death.

00:45:13.040 That's what Roe v. Wade gives you.

00:45:14.580 That's what the left is celebrating.

00:45:17.240 46 years of that.

00:45:18.780 And can you only imagine what the country will look like 46 years from now if we don't overturn it?

00:45:23.480 That's our show.

00:45:24.520 Tune in tomorrow.

00:45:25.440 Get your mailbag questions in.

00:45:26.660 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:45:27.360 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:45:28.280 I'll see you then.
